Great App. Easy to use, to navigate and to find articles. East to read font style and size

Great job. App works wonderfully. Downloads quickly. Easy to find articles. Still enjoy holding and reading the printed edition but this is sometimes easier on the go.

Boston Herald daily. I’m very pleased with my Boston Herald app on my iPhone and tablet. It’s my go to with coffee every morning.

Update Ruined App. Thanks! I used to spend $3-4 per week buying a few editions. Then you updated the app in early November 2022. Result? No way to purchase individual editions, app no longer recognizes my login info and app won’t let me create a new account. Perfectly logical business plan! Take paying customers and prevent them from being able to give us money! What a genius plan! DELETE.

It’s a start. Hopefully the Herald will realize the trend is reading on line and more money to be made than print editions, especially the next generation of readers. They need to continue to upgrade the on line edition.. It’s getting there.

Not a bad app. It works fine. I get an update every morning.

It seems to crash a lot. I like reading the “real” version on the paper and I like the app a lot. But it has an annoying habit of completely closing and re-opening while I’m in the middle of an article. They need to fix that. Also the Sunday comics are often in low res graphics which makes it difficult to expand and read. Bot overall it’s a good app.

Really Disappointing. This site has gone from being my favorite place to get local news, to a site I no longer even visit. In their desperation, they are trying to force you to a login in which you have to agree to having your information sold. And yet, you also get all the requisite ads. It is a sad state of affairs when the BG is the more palatable site

Like the product, iPad doesn’t. Look forward to the paper every morning, enjoy the HERALD. However , my iPad doesn’t. I have to delete and reinstall the app almost weekly as the iPad seems to forget my login and treats me as a new subscriber and then locking me out forcing a delete and reinstall.

Morning News. Love having the chance to read the Herald every morning with my coffee....I don’t have to wait for delivery...can read it from 4 am on if I am awake earlier than usual. Also enjoy the columnists and articles...spot on.

Great app. Love waking up in the morning and while having coffee I can read my Herald without going out or waiting for delivery.

Easy to use. Very user friendly. Can print out crossword puzzle.

Excellent. Enjoy reading it daily. The app works perfectly and is a credit to the Herald staff in providing this access at such a reasonable price. Thanks!

Herald E-Edition. I have been using my Ipad to read this for years, easy to read, cost effective, and it’s right here every morning. Very convenient for this Disabled veteran.

Great paper. Good old fashioned reporting, world news and our fix for sports!!

Looking forward to BH online everyday- good habit. Every “page” is orthodox spending some time with….

Excellent Source for News. Great layout over entire publication for presentation of all text. Good coverage of all news and sports! A paper with subsistence that takes more than 4 minutes to read entire issue, unlike my local paper!!!

Boston Herald App. EXACTLY how you would read the hard copy…only cleaner hands. Easy to maneuver/navigate. Simple.

Why did it take me so long to discover this online?. I thoroughly enjoy getting my news fix conveniently, succinctly and honestly every morning now...the price is reasonable and worth every penny...and I love getting an actual Sunday paper with the circulars...and the sports section is terrific!

Just like reading the actual paper!. Love using this app. It’s just like reading the paper. A great way to keep up on favorite Boston teams from out of town!

Excellent app. Very easy to navigate, good layout of the paper with ability to increase size of article, excellent for iPad, once in a while last few pages don’t download and don’t appear until well after I’ve read the paper, but I enjoy reading the paper in this fashion.

Important balance. The Herald provides an important dose of balance to a very liberal focused Boston Globe. For anyone endeavoring to know what is happening that the Globe refuses to report on must read the Herald. Beyond that, the sports section is the best in the business.

Boston Herald - Hard to Upgrade. I like the content — much more balance and objective than the Boston Globe — and the app works pretty well, but I have two criticisms: 1) There’s no easy way to upgrade my subscription from electronic to print plus electronic. 2) I get emails on featured stories but I don’t get logged in automatically when I follow the links. Furthermore, the links should bring up the app rather than the web browser when I’m on my phone.

Awesome. Just like having the morning paper delivered in your driveway, only more convenient!

Great App!!. Works as if I’m reading a paper newspaper. Very responsive and great controls to switch between pages and sections.

Wonderful.. Always loads fast and easy to read.

Cancellation. I have tried several times to cancel my subscription without any success. Every time I call I’m number 14 in the cue? Once after waiting a good 30 minutes, when I got to a live person, the person said I was breaking up and couldn’t understand me. I enjoy your newspaper, but because of financial concerns, wish to cancel at this time. If Congress ever gets it’s act together around the Stimulus, I could re-subscribe! Help??? Florence Sargent, Marshfield, Ma.

Better than the Globe!. After subscribing to Globe for years and being charged $28 monthly for e-edition,(highway robbery)we love the Herald. It aligns much more with our conservative viewpoint, too!

Great app. The Herald app is a quick and easy way to get true accurate news. The cost (free) of this app makes it a no brainer.

Stop punishing subscribers with more ads. This Nov. ‘22 version is better than the previous in that it actually functions. However, REMOVE the additional ads at the bottom. The content in the Herald has been reduced to so little that the only reason I subscribe is to support some sort of reasoned journalism in Boston. Continuing to be assaulted by ads will push me to leave.

Much improved. The app is much improved. My only complaint is that when I am reading it on my phone or iPad and want to enlarge the page the left margin is not clear. But otherwise, is easy to use.

Boston Nitty Gritty. I find the coverage of the Herald as simple and clear as any source available today with a slant toward the topics that have always been part of life in the Boston area. Examples are, ineffective and wasteful state government, corrupt police, firemen who can’t put out a fire, teachers union that is self serving and well connected to Beacon Hill, transit workers making six figures, underfunded public pension plans, decaying infrastructure, the merry-go-round of criminal enterprise, our children falling further behind on the world stage, widening economic gap, racial tension, etc. So many stories to write. Keep up the good word. Bob

Review. Would prefer to have the Herald app’s content configured to be readable on a smart phone, rather than just include photos of the actual newspaper which have to be zoomed in on to read.

Review of Boston Herald.. I’ve been reading this paper for years and it still doesn’t disappoint.

Online Boston Herald is great. We switched over to the online version and it’s great. Layout and content come across perfectly and we couldn’t be happier. Way to go Herald!

Boston Herald is a great newspaper. Great content and articles! Plus an easy to use app. Would highly recommend!

Love it.. Love it, love it. Read it almost every night. Wish I had this a long time ago.

Great Boston Herald at fingertips. Instead of going and having to buy the herald at store etc, it’s at your fingertips. It’s great to look at local news to know what’s going on in the place you actually live.

Boston Herald. Still love the paper. But am writing to say that the new page turning button is not as good as the old. Without intending to, I often open up an article instead of turning the page

Good app. Works and functions properly 99% of the time. I’ve had very few problems and like the browse feature, which lets you turn the page like a real newspaper.

Good App. Always works well. Good to get a view of the news that isn’t slanted to the left.

Just a good papah.. I have been reading the Herald since I was a kid in the fifties. I think it was the Record American. I also delivered it growing up in Lynnfield. Getting it on line living in Florida, is a lot bettah than reading the Tampa papah.

Review. Enjoy reading every morning

Great App. The duel views provide a way for anyone to read a newspaper as they wish. We’ll designed and good daily content. I start every day with the eHerald !

Excellent 👍. I did not think I would like the app, I purchased it to keep out of the store during the pandemic. The app is exactly like the paper. Great job 👏

Much improved. The current version is an improvement over past versions of the app. Although I wonder why when the app starts up it shuts off streaming music I have going on my iPad.

Serviceable App. Works well although sometimes has trouble keeping up with larger resolution color images in the comics section.

Classic journalism. Boston needs this type of reporting as The Herald covers stories the “other paper” doesn’t want you to know about!

Apple Problems. Very often the Herald app won’t open on my I-pad saying to try a free trial and buy after. Since I have been buying this App for years I’ve call your office and been told it’s an Apple issue with all I-pads. I very often have to reboot my I-pad and the download usually happens. I love your App, please fix it with I-pads. p.s. I also have the NY Post App with no problem, although your paper digital set up is better. Howard Neff Naples,Fl

Online Boston Herald. I subscribed to The Boston Herald because the newspaper endorsed President Trump. I really enjoy the columns by HowieCarr and Grace Curley and I enjoy the convenience of opening the publication on my iPad.

E-edition Boston Herald. Enjoying a well designed, well thought out digital edition of our Boston Herald

Great Boston paper. The app works well.

Can't sign in. Won't let me log in on a new iPad after having logged out on an old one, and the error message says only "Too Many Activations" ... Whoever is in charge, tell your developers to be more helpful

An Honest Paper. Love to read a paper that isn't a Democratic Party rag.

App works great!. App works great!

Herald. Terrible. Want to support your paper but your website is so frustrating to use. FIX THIS.

Great app. I think this is the best way to read the Herald, especially Howie Carr!

Very nice experience. Very very nice

On top of Boston. Great paper

3rd Day this week its late. Ok app and redesign seems ok but the e edition has been late all week or its caching the old edition. please fix

JeffKid34. Great app. Informative.

Very poor app. Will not let me log on. Asks for duplicate payment every time I log on despite being paid up. Poor design and functionality. I am done with this until they get serious about serving customers better

Great Newspaper App. Great newspaper app with an easy to read and attractive format.

Great app. The daily newspapers download automatically.

Joke. Don’t waste you money on this app. Terrible!

Boston Herald. Very good digital edition. Much prefer to paper

I longer gives me access. The prior version before September 2018 worked fine but now it won’t give me access to paper after I log in. Boston Herald customer service is WORTHLESS.

Awesome App!. I’m an old-school newspaper guy but I love reading the paper this way - keep up the good work!

My morning Herald. I enjoy my paper with my breakfast. It’s important to me. Jules

Great App. Love this app

Sports. Good sport coverage- need more of Howie

Herald. Nice to read while away

Accurate and timely. By far the best e news periodical in the country. Kudos to BH!

Boston Herald. J. Cooke with my morning coffee!

OK. Usually ok but sometimes very slow to load

Great app!. Enjoy it on your iPhone or MacBook!

Bost Herald e edition. Works great on my iPad

Herald APP. Content good. Display fair - poor. Many words run together, capital letters and small letters appear jumbled. Occasional pages are unreadable as if foreign

Dependable delivery. Love howie carr, funnies and the odd topics

Great paper. Great paper

No paper. Many days I try to open the day’s edition but it remains on yesterday’s edition!

Boston Herald. Overall quite good and easy to use

Good job. Like the app. Works well. Won’t stop getting a printed edition but app is handy on the go.

Just won’t work. Can’t expand on the title. Yet I still refuse to subscribe to the Boston Globe.

Hangs waiting to update previous purchases. This app continues to be junk. Now it just hangs forever. I have been a herald subscriber one way or another for over 30 years. Time to cancel.

Review. Big improvement! Enjoy very much!

Herald Review. Limited corrupt news agency
