Very handy app. Although I have only use this app a few times I am impressed with speech recognition. I find it very handy to make notes.

Two cents. The app would benefit if: (1) The text showed on the screen as you start speaking and (2) One could make the text as large as possible.

Pls fix voice recognition! Thxs. U have to go word by word. I'm using the for my Spanish class but it's just not very help full. It took literately like 10 minutes for 2 sentences. Very bad voice recognition I deleted the app after that so I don't know if any of the other features are good so a 2 star from me!

Disappointed. I am incredibly disappointed that I just wasted nine dollars on an app that has more limited functions then using my voice to text recorder with in my notes section on my iPhone in fact not only can you not copy it within the app currently there's no way to then copy over to searching online or to keep a running tab of what you've written is only an option to text it and on occasion the email function works but once again save yourself nine dollars and just use the microphone text option within your free phone lesson Learned. In all honesty it makes me wonder how many of the app reviews are written by someone who's trying to sell an app because if you look really deep down into them the ones that one stars are having exact same problem and the other is Ray whenever you get outliers like that it seems a little suspicious save your money for real

Wow! Replaces 3 apps. Very impressed, better accuracy then my other apps, also does translation, also can copy to all the destinations I would want to copy to, and reads French to me aloud? Love love love. I wish all App Store apps were this well-programmed, reliable and excellent.

There has to be a better app. I can’t hear so I thought this would be good to help the communication gap Unfortunately it doesn’t let you Continuously record so you can get the whole conversation and store it for later reference it pauses then you have to email yourself to save it

Pleased with the way this app works. I like the way this app accurately takes my dictation. The app also has a pleasing and easy-to-use lay out.

Almost. The app does not show. I am writing this review using this application, I hope it comes out better than the three stars I chose to award it. I'm not sure that it will however because if you don't constantly stay on top of it the final fall asleep the Apple forget what you've said it will display in error and you won't be too sure what you've actually put down because you're unable to see it until you stop recording Is that you have been writing because it forgets switches off or otherwise generate an error leaves the text it produces somewhat short in fact it still leaves a little bit to be desired. Good luck gentlemen I hope you improve a White Hart dollar 99 I spent I won't complain to vocal about it after all we throw far more than that away every day. However the high hopes are hello for this application have not actually materialised good lunch and then keep trying you're not there yet

Big Improvement. Much better than the speech recognition that comes with your keyboard in iOS. The same is true in Brazilian Portuguese

Now is bad service. This app get me out of service and ask me to contact the developer as follows "You are not authorized to use this service . Please contact your service provider" Unfortunately paid the money exaggerated in order to enjoy the service, but I can not find the service as expected .

Nothing special. I downloaded this app assuming this can help me dictate my meetings into text. It does that but only problem is that it's limited to one minute. My meeting is about 2 hour long and I am tired or writing so I that maybe this app can record and translate into text but after paying and trying it out its same app as others except I paid $9.. So I want my money back! Unless you can show me that I can have continues recording.

Great for dictating letters. This app is so wonderful because it not only records what you’re saying but it transcribes it in real time and the software algorithm is such that it rarely misunderstands what you’re saying if you speak reasonably clearly. I cannot say enough good things about this app. This is perhaps my third or fourth review and I still think it’s one of the best!

Works Quite Well for Medical Dictations. Very happy with the app overall. Have to hit record several times as I go but I still prefer that to typing medical notes. It works primarily for typing up long parts of notes such as a history of present illness, which I then send to my email, copy it from there at my desk, and paste it into my notes. Would recommend.

Just terrible. Miss up cannot handle anything more than about 20 to 30 seconds worth of dictation. After that, it just errors out. It often says that it cannot connect to the server. When this happens, it loses all of the audio that you have dictated, so you have to start over completely. The app is not designed to be resilient for fault-tolerant in anyway. I specifically paid for this up to be able to dictate longer sessions than what is possible with the native Siri integration of the operating system. But it is unusable for this purpose. Save your money, and just use Siri.

This i'd an app I love..saves oodles of time!. This app is awesome! I rarely write reviews but I am writing this one using this app right now. It has been so helpful for me and it saves so much time. I got it when it was free but I would certainly spend $10 on it! It is so worth it. It saves time emailing,texting or taking notes. Just about anything that I wouldn't use on my phone that requires typing this app takes notes for me. It reads every single word correctly. The only thing I have had to go back to correct is names of businesses and names of friends. After I finish talking this review, I said talking, not typing, I just press one button go over to the review page and copy it to that page so quick and easy you can do it the same thing and it will take you to email or text or what's app or the web. It even corrects my punctuation. So very helpful.

Still best recognition app. Have used for several months now and it's still the best of all the similar apps I've tried, incl Siri. No it's not perfect, but most of the time I can send as is or it needs a few minor fixes for words, more often for punctuation. Good for making audio notes/reminders for myself.

Amazing app!!. This is the most accurate voice transcription app. I've found. I love it. I use it all the time. I'm a social worker and use it to take notes while out in the field!! I tell everyone I know about this app.!!! It's amazing!!!

Deletes on lock screen. Nothing more annoying than narrating for a while and your phone turns to a lock screen then when you get back in realize absolutely nothing you have said was noted because according to a notification that pops up whenever this happens "there was a server connection issue". It's pretty important for any and all audio apps to be able to keep running when the phone inevitably goes to the lock screen. This is an obvious miss on their part and is very frustrating.

app will not initiate microphone access. It’s years later and I’m giving the app another try. It’s useless. Absolutely useless Says I have no microphone access. I’ve been all through the settings. Al through my phones settings. There’s no way to manual allow access for the app and it installed and runs without ever asking me for mic access. Definitely glitching. I’ve uninstalled several times only to meet the same problem. Crap app

Ms Karla. I love this app I have an I phone 5 but mine has no microphone symbol anywhere in the texting area. I could record voice notations, but I have always wanted the ability to talk instead of type a text. Now, finally I have that! Thank you! My phone has been without this feature for 5 years. Finally. Yes! :)

Bad but Good. I want my money back. Don't buy it until they fix a glitch that states you are not authorized to use it! I have to close out of it and play around with it to get it to work and it is getting harder. Not good for something that costs nine dollars. Fix it now. Otherwise its strength is its accuracy even in a very noisy environment which impresses me. Also the end of speech detection is too sensitive. I had to turn it off.

Please don't waste your money. Because this app was relatively expensive, I stupidly thought it must be good. It's not. Only records ONE MINUTE of audio at s time, and it's very difficult to save/send the text without lots of typing/finagling. In other words, it's absolutely useless while driving - which is what I got it for. Waste of money.

I just wasted $10 on Siri that doesn't save!!!. What a joke! This is a scam app. I downloaded this app because it had a top review and it doesn't even save what you write. What am I supposed to do with this? It only records one minute at a time and then the app refresh and lost about 15 to 20 minutes worth of stuff I have been saying. Just use Siri and notepad and save $10. How do I get my money back????

Amazing app. I am extremely pleased with his app. I am doing medical dictation. The word recognition is quite good. The one thing that happened twice during my dictation is that it will not let me continue. A pop up says, "You are not authorized to use this." It will keep me out for almost 24 hours. I was about to delete it and purchase another app and it started working again. It has not happened recently so it might already be fixed. This app has helped me with my work so much. It is heads and shoulders above anything I have tried in the past.

This is very useful!. "Everyday I write daily note. So I have to write a lot. When I found this app, it has lessened my effort and made my work easier. You must try it.

I am recording this review using this app while driving which is where I would use this app the majority of the time this app does a relatively good job at recording my voice however it does not have an ability to store the notes it only allows me to Facebook and translate them without the ability to store this app is a failure I hope the future edition or updates will allow me to store the Bradley store to my notes on my Apple iPhone

My favorite app, period!. I just got this app this morning, and have used it to text, take notes, translate into Spanish, sent messages on WhatsApp, and wrote emails. I am so excited that I told my girlfriend and she likes it too. It makes so many tasks easy! Thank you!!

Good transcriber, other features nonexistent. Wish it would import an existing sound file. And the Listening screen should show current recording time! And as others have commented it REALLY needs to keep separate transcriptions, save and retrieve them, etc.

Superior than the iOS built-in dictation. I love this app, its voice recognition is much better than the built-in one in iPhone. Occasionally it crashes on my iPhone 6s Plus when I pause, edit, and resume dictation.

Awesome app!. This is the most helpful app I own!! I love that I can 'speak' my sometime lengthy emails so quickly to text. Just remember you need to speak punctuation marks too such as 'question mark' or 'exclamation point' after speaking your sentence. Love it!

Needs one thing.... I only wish it had a way to end a sentence and insert a period. All my messages are one big long run-on

Not a value-adding app. I wish you would disclose the recording length before purchasing. Dictation for me is only a minute long. This is not what I was expecting and I don't feel this app does anything more than Siri or Google Docs already does. Feeling ripped off for $10 and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is looking to record more than a paragraph at a time. The recognition is satisfactory, but again, the phone already does this well.

Better than Siri. I find that speaking into Recognizer and then copying the text into a word processing program, such as Pages, is more accurate and easier than using Siri.

Privacy policy??. Seems to work well. Pretty accurate. But, this app requires an internet connection. The link in the AppStore to the website takes you to a webpage with nothing on it. There’s no privacy policy. What are these guys doing with our data? If you transcribe medical documents or something sensitive (your personal info), are they keeping that data? What are they doing with it?

Bad for students! Not a time saver!. I spent the money for this app to help me write my notes from my class lectures and it's terrible. You can't record for very long at all! Plus every other word is wrong! Might as well take the time and right everything by hand! If your looking for an app to help with school note taking don't waste your money on this app! It will not help you save time.. You'll just waste your time and money getting this app.

Recognizes my Yorkshire accent. This is much better than the apple voice recognition. It understands my accent, and punctuation is easy too.

High hopes dashed quickly. I bought this App thinking it would be an improvement over the apps on the iPhone. I was wrong. Without Wifi or good cellular connection this app does not work. Word recognition better than phone apps, but I can only dictate a paragraph at a time. Save your money

Good App / 1 Flaw. This is a good app. I use it mostly when I am on the road. On my way to work, I talk out my thoughts and the app types out my words perfectly. One problem that I experience is that the app thinks that I am finished before I am finished. For example, I know I am going to dictate 5 paragraphs that I want into one document. The app stops after each paragraph so I am emailing myself the text 5 times and then cutting and pasting into a single document. If I could get the app to record until I press a button for it to stop, that would be awesome (5 stars).

What a lifesaver.. I recently took on a role that required transcribing telephone call menus to the new voice messaging system. This made quick work of the task. With minor changes necessary to the recorded message, it works great. Update: telling me after a few uses that I'm not allowed to use this service and to contact my service provider. I'm on wifi. I can't even use it now. LAME. Off to Dragon Land.

Good App. Sometimes it doestn't get my pronunciation while others apps do. Other times i am impressed how good it does it's job. I wish i had paid less since is not as accurate as i expected for the price i paid. Oh well still is good enough.

Just ok. When it works this app is great... But it doesn't always work. It will not work if you let your screen go to sleep and often says that there is a server error. Both of these errors end up wasting time which is counterproductive given that I am trying to save time by using this app.

I do not need a nanny. There is no support.. The app works about as well as could be expected, with one critical to flaw. There is no way to turn off it's editing of profanity. I am an adult, I will swear if I want to. And, on top of that, the suppose it support website contains one single line of text: "welcome to Anfasoft." I just paid nine dollars for an app that treats me like a six-year-old and has no support. I recommend that you do something else.

Not what I hoped. Really wish it had been more up front. I was hoping that, as I prepare lessons, I could use it to record talking for a lengthy time and drop the text into something I can edit later. Sadly, it instead cuts the recording off after a short time. The voice recognition works okay, but it does nothing close to what I need, and now I'm stuck having wasted $9 on something I'll never open again. Wish I could get a refund.

Best. I am using this app to record this review and I must say that currently this is the best speech recognition app available on iOS. It has many features that other apps do not have , and the speech recognition seems to be extraordinarily accurate. I would like to see a more animated graphic on the listening page but that's a small complaint.

Very good speech recognition. If this translated text it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately I still have to use Google for that. Incidentally, if you want punctuation then you have to speak the word "comma", "period", "question mark", etc.

It's crazy how good the speech recognition is.. Just started using it, but man is the speech recognition impressive. And I didn't notice until yesterday how simple and good the translation function is. I just wish it had a one button solution to dictate a note and email it to myself or post it to an existing note in Evernote. But everything it does, it nails.

Very Accurate. I've tested more than a few apps. This one seems to be the most accurate. Simple and easy to use. *** above done with app then copy paste ;-) *** I have deleted all other apps and am going to rely on this one :-)

My experience is that the app does not perform at a high-level. This app lacks functionality. Also, the app crashes regularly and you lose everything that you have dictated as there is no save function. You cannot go back and review any notes that you have created. This app is no better than the in built dictation function on the iPhone. It is definitely not worth $15, I would say this app would be worth no more than two dollars.

Good. Nice app. A "help" function would be nice to explain what the icons are for. Have to stop speaking to see text. Will come in handy.

Great. I LOVE this app ! It does exactly what it says it's going to do, it will be a tremendous help to be able to dictate a 'letter' that I can email. As well there are numerous languages to choose from. I would DEFINITELY recommend this app.

Misleading information. I bought this app because it says that it supports Bulgarian language, but this is not the case at all! This is misleading information to buy a product! And now what ... I paid $ 11.99 and can't use it !!! Don't buy! They are not loyal!

Should come with iOS it is so good!. A must have app! Should come with iOS software. I "type" things while walking to school, while driving... Works great. Remember to actually say punctuation ("comma"), and to edit your "ummm"'s out. Recommendation would be to have different lengths of recording time to allow for longer things to be said without interruption. Great thanks. 4 stars at least.

Worst app ever! Don't waste your money!. In 5 years, I have never encountered an app this terrible. First the accuracy was about 50%. Then after I spent over an hour editing and correcting the errors the document just disappeared.

Simple, but excellent in what it does!. This review for the recogniser app has been dictated on the recogniser app. I have found that it is almost perfect in my normal voice, and includes punctuation words where I dictate the words themselves. It has proven so far to be a virtually perfect dictation reference. The ability to jump into other apps with the attached text is a great tool. I highly recommend this app.

Inaccurate. Unfortunately I was disappointed in capability to understand what I was saying and the functionality. I had really hoped that it would recognize speech in real time and have high efficiency at recognizing appropriate words. Especially for that price point. I am currently using Apple dictation and that’s working much better.

Speech recogniser. This app did not work for me. I would speak English to English and it was not even close. Maybe it didn't recognize my voice. I have found other apps that seem to work better for me.

New version works great. UPDATE: Appears to be excellent now. Good speech to text recognition, clean interface, easy-to-use and set up.

Russian recognition is great!. Surprisingly thus application recognized Russian text just perfectly! Great tools for bloggers and journalists!

Hit or Miss. The voice recognition is ok at best. Misses words. You have to speak extremely slow and exaggerate the pronunciation of words. For example, please gets confused with police very easily. So the PL in please would need to be exaggerated heavily for the software to recognize. Also before completing a paragraph, the app changes screens as if your finished and you have to go back and click the microphone again but you wouldn’t know that unless you were staring at the screen. The app also is not updated for a larger screen size ie. iPhone 7 plus. Some of the app options overlap and don’t let you scroll down all the way when proof reading the text you just completed. The app is ok but not worth the price in my opinion.

French dictation is junk. The French dictation is junk. It does not understand the language and cannot dictate it.

WOW! Excellent app. This is the first voice recognition software I have used that actually works well, even with the Otter box cover.

can't save your drafts in the app. what a horrible app. I can not have multiple drafts at the same time BECAUSE you can't save in the app, start another draft on a different topic, return to your original draft. I'm getting my money back! what a rip off!

Speech Recognizer HD by Anfasoft. This is THE BEST dictation app. I have ever seen. The text recognition is excellent and I've had very few words it's missed. I place the headphones in my iPad with one part in my ear and the other at the mic of my phone and listen while taking notes. Fantastic !!!!!

Doesn't work properly. Poor voice recognition and transcript. No website available for support.

Records only one line. I would love for this app to work, but it only records a single line. Even this form cant record, it stops 2-3 words in. I have to type even here. Maybe it has something to do with iPhone 6s running ios 13?

Full of bugs. It’s impossible to start the app. Immediately after you run the app a message is displayed: speech recognition not permitted as microphone access is denied, pretty annoying! the microphone is not allowed and is not possible to change that in the privacy settings.

Microphone access problem?. Can’t access microphone for some reason.. app doesn’t show up in app list to grant permission

Simply does not work. The software didn't recognize a single word of dictation. It's your money; it's about to be their money and you'll still be typing everything by hand tomorrow.

It was great. It was great until recently. It ask you to go to a website to update a billing project. There’s no way to buy at App Store. It has been free all this years and I am willing to pay for it. Unfortunately there is no option for this.

Basic. This is good for basic statements, but cannot distinguish context for multiple meaning words.

None. This is a terrible app and a waste of money I wish I had not bought it now I'm stuck. It only allows you to dictate small amounts and then must be erased before you go on to your next comment. Take my advice and don't waste your money.

It's great but.... And this is a big "but." It automatically stops recording well before the convo you are trying to catch is over. It really is only good for capturing short messages for text or email, but I can already do that on iPhone without spending the $8.99 I spent on this

Unusable, Catch 22. When I try to record, it says that I have not given permission to access the microphone. When I go to privacy settings, recognizer does not display on my list of apps. So, how the heck am I supposed to grant permission when my phone doesn’t even “recognize” that it’s there?!?

Waste of money!. Waste of money! It worked for less than an hour then got locked out. The error message indicated that I was not an authorized user and to contact service provider.
