Very Unprofessional, & Greedy. I have used this app for my business since the beginning. It has always been great. All of a sudden they got greedy and implemented their own form of payment system and have discontinued using Stripe. Normally I would have no problem with this as they are like any other business, in the business to make money. However their new payment system will not let me connect my bank account for deposits via Plaid even though my bank is supported. Now my clients cant pay their invoices I email to them, and I would have to contact them of physically be there to run their cards via a another company like Square, or GoPayment. This make this app completely useless to me and I am shocked that Invoice2Go could care less about this. I have contacted them multiple times with the generic email run around response. I cannot shut down my business because of their shortcomings or lack of custom support/care. This is a complete failure on their part and IMO is absolutely irresponsible and unprofessional. I switched my business over to Quickbooks and canceled my subscription. Also I still have not gotten a response to my last “open ticket” email with them, which tells me that Invoice2Go does not care at all. Stay away from this app and company.

Functional but not necessarily practical. The app is simple enough to setup and use. It does the job that a one person shop needs it to do. However I think it’s ridiculous that you can’t turn off credit/debit and digital payments without buying the annual membership. This seems backwards, as in the membership should provide that option not just allow you to turn it off. The problem with the feature being turned on by default is that customers try and pay digitally only for me to have to refund the payment and ask them for a check. I also have my own way of accepting credit card payments that doesn’t force me to pay annually for something I only need less than a handful of times in a year. From my perspective this creates a situation that not only makes you buy an annual subscription to turn off a feature that isn’t necessary for small shops but allowing credit card payments causes the business to charge credit card fees. The option to pay via card or digitally should be opt in not opt out. The developer should change this and consider a more compelling reason to hold people over a barrel in order to get them to subscribe. At the very least consider a per use fee when someone wants to pay digitally and the business wants to accept the digital payment. Currently searching for another app alternative.

Haven't gotten paid in several days after working hard. I haven't been paid in almost 2 weeks when the payment is supposed to be instant. I sent an invoice to my client and worked a very hard job for days, and wasn't able to pay my workers or put gas in my tank and haven't been able to drive my car. I worked very hard and the payment processed on my client's end in her bank and my bank account is verified on the app, and in addition, I talked to my bank and they said they not only didn't receive any payment, but they also would instantly add the payment deposit to my card balance and it DOES NOT take days to process. I need to get paid because this was a very big job and I haven't got any help or anyone to process my payment. I would've had my client PayPal me or just Venmo me if I knew this was going to happen. If anyone knows how I can get the money faster, let me know because it affected my life greatly and am suffering because of it.

Not worth it. This developer is notorious for not standing by its product after trusting customers have wasted countless hours and energy relying on it for organization of business finances. Case in point: Receipts2Go. Not only can I no longer use the app to upload new record keeping information, but I also can’t even access the information I uploaded over years and years because the developer decided to no longer keep the app current with every iOS upgrade. So before investing and relying on this app, be prepared to have all of your records disappear and get a lame, insensitive excuse from the developer in response. ****Update Post Developer Response***** I contacted the Developer per the response below, to no avail. To anyone who is reading this, don’t let the Developer’s response fool you. The Receipts2Go app was discontinued WITHOUT WARNING, so there’s no way to have my records and receipts transferred to Invoice2go. What a waste. A prime example of unfair business trade practices.

Getting worse. I hate that I only have the energy to write a review when this software is having issues but here it is. I started my construction business in 2011 and have used this app since day one. It’s been great for me and I’ve turned many other contractors on to it. The interface used to be simple and easy to use. I understand that companies must evolve and grow with demand but it would have been better to leave well enough alone. There is nothing more frustrating than spending an hour on an invoice or estimate only to have it randomly deleted or zeroed out after saving. Server/cloud issues are becoming more normal than not. I’m furious and don’t know how to move forward now that I’m invested into it. This has been going on for months and a couple updates. I’ve remained patient as these issues are expected with iOS updates and whatnot. A day or two is acceptable but not this amount of time. Update. Developer responds- we don’t know of this. Yet I’ve emailed for the last couple months and the response I get is “sorry. This is a known issue. We are working to fix”. Your public p.r response does not match private response. Sorry but This is only a slap in the face to an already poor situation.

Don't get this app , used to be awesome before now is the worse. I have been using this app since 2012 , this app used to be very easy to work with , but every since all this new versions came out , nothing but problems, simple tasks that could be done before now takes forever to create an estimate, before i had my disclaimer(terms & condition) attached to all my estimates , every since this updates i can no longer send them because now the amount of characters is limited to 4000 , i have asked several times for this one issue to be fixed but apparently they don't care of what business people r complain to them about Today i am very disappointed dissatisfied long term client of this app I would give 0 if i could , for this very expensive app now with lots of limitations, that didn't exist before when i first started using 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤 Beware anyone , look somewhere else I am looking for another app in this similar style to replace this one 😡😡😡🤢🤢🤢

Small business owners beware.. I have been paying for an unlimited subscription for 7 years. It’s very expensive. I really enjoyed this app for a long time. In the past couple of years the app will turn on the payment button after an update and my clients will pay the invoice through Invoice2Go by mistake. However if you haven’t set up any way to access the money, Invoice2Go gives NO advice on how to deal with this. There is no phone number. I am at the mercy of their email team to figure out how to receive my funds. WE SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO RECEIVE PAYMENTS FROM CLIENTS IF WE HAVE NO WAY TO ACCESS THE MONEY THEY HAVE SENT. I should not have to sign up for something AFTER the fact to receive my money. I have no way of knowing if stripe, PayPal, or Invoice2Go banking, took my money. I have searched every FAQ page for this problem and I see nothing, yet in the reviews I see plenty of people having the same problem. This feels like a huge money trap. As a one woman business owner who has been loyal to this company, I am very disappointed. I do not deserve to have my hard earned money held for ransom.

If your business depends on this software don’t buy please. Save yourself. Besides numerous glitches blamed on iOS updates which don’t allow you to send via email quotes or invoices, today we had a submissions for large projects that I wasn’t not able to complete because Invoice2go had a log-in issue at their severs. Unfortunately the software logged you out and than you can even log in to edit any of your work. I tried emailing them but I got a response that someone will reach out to me in a day. I found numbers online to call but they are no longer working. I finally got on the chat which had 1200 users in front of me. Today we will likely loose the opportunity to bid on large jobs because Invoice2go doesn’t have a back up for cases like this and leave you completely out of their software. Worst case I can’t even log in to look for contact info for our clients. Save yourself the headache and frustration and try something else. I’m stuck because moving all our data to another software is a hassle. Save yourself!

Well done app.. I really like it, except you cannot make custom terms. You can only set payment terms by date. I typically use 50% down and the remaining balance after delivery. I have to list this in the comments and I set my payment terms for the end of the month. Also, you can record expenses, but I would like to be able to apply expenses to a specific invoice to show not only the cost of what is being sold, but other details such as food or fuel used on delivery and any other items needed for emergency repairs for small projects that are just listed as one item on the invoice. The client will see that one item, but I will see all expenses consumed for that one item. I do custom furniture so a lot goes into one item listed on the order and prices change a lot on material and supplies.

Talk about bad. I have never wrote a response before. Never felt the need, but this is different. I love the app however after using it for 2 months and submitting needed on boarding documents; they disabled my account. But wait there is more….I spent the following 2 weeks via chat to get someone to resend the “Notice of Account” email that they say was send at deactivation which I never received. I sent copies of my email list after searching to show I NEVER received the notice. Each “we are escalating your ticket” response garners very little follow up. I’m being nice because i chatted every day for 2 weeks and with the comment I received only one person to actually follow up. I’m sure it’s an easy fix, however trying to get answers is almost impossible. Follow up is very important to my business and I am sure yours, so I suggest going somewhere else. Sorry. Important Update: 9/6/22 Do not and I repeat, Do not fall for the Developers Comment. He wrote contact “support.” THAT IS WHAT I’VE DONE! Almost EVERYDAY FOR 2 WEEKS. And still no answer with almost every ending chat with support is “we will escalate the ticket and someone will get back to you.” If I could post a meme of a cricket I would. Now I am concerned about who I sent my ID, SS#, bank statement and picture to. So if you did not understand me the first time, listen to me again. Don’t use this app…RUN!!!

Use to be good. I am one of the original customer off invoice 2 go, I paid for the app and bought it after a few years the company decided to charge for the service yearly instead of selling the app, so they decided to not update the app for the original owners to make them pay for the service wile we but it! At the same time there was enough bug to slow down the service and having so many issues to make everybody gave up on their purchase. Great App. I have my books in this APP back to 2012. It was an incredible app. Then was totally wrecked in the middle of the Summer of 2017 by an update. This was devastating to a Lawn Service. After that mess they have worked tirelessly to make it work right again and to their credit they have it functioning flawlessly again. However. Going on 2 years later they still have not fixed it where you can tell how much you paid a vendor you buy from. Personally I feel it is a shame and a disgrace that this feature can not be added back into this system. As many years worth of material as I have in the app I cannot afford to drop it but really feel slighted by this feature being taken out and not put back in.

Good, but could be better. I bought the lite version. It has really been great since I started purchasing their service in 2016. Im not a huge company so I don’t have a ton of clients. Tonight, I purchased a new subscription because I saw mine ended in 6 days. My new subscription starts NOW though instead of in 6 days, which is really poor customer care IMO. I also tried to add a new client and I was maxed out. I deleted old clients that I haven’t used in 5 years, but that didn’t help. I believe the “lite” version allows 15 clients. You should absolutely be allowed to remove old clients especially after buying a new subscription. The app is forcing me to upgrade to over $100/year now to add one more client. It’s just ridiculous. Clients should reset in a year. Old clients should be able to be deleted after a year is up. Fix this and I’ll stay. It’s a great service otherwise

Run Away From This App as fast as you can before this happens to you. New version lost several previous years of Invoices and changed information on most Invoices for this year including amounts owed, Invoices not sent to clients when in fact they had, zeroing out balances on Invoices still owed, ect. ect. I may lose alot of money because of this Upgrade that I had no choice but to install because the app would not let me into me account because it was "no longer compatible". Beware and protect yourself by using another app! Response from developer: "Hi Southerninspector. We're really sorry about your experience, certainly not the experience we strive to deliver. One of our support specialists will reach out to you to help. Thanks for your patience." Reach out to help?! When?! I still have not heard from anyone and this horrible app is still changing or not holding corrections I'm making to Invoices that it previously changed information on. This is making it almost impossible to run my business. Its frightening to think of how much money I may be loosing as a result of this HORRIBLE APP both in Invoice errors and employee hours to try to sort all this out only for this app to continue to fail!!!!

It’s been all good until.... I subscribed for this and it’s been all good. Now somehow they don’t let me enter my app without doing another subscription ... and I already have one !! Now ... I can’t use it but I am still paying for. Also I am scared and stressed out because I might not be able to access my old invoicing and estimates because the only way they let me enter is to subscribe it again ( something I already did and paid for the all year .) Another thing is that there’s no contact number for us clients to get help . I only found an e-mail address and no answer yet. I am here now without being able to access my Invoice2go app.

Used to be good. The best thing about this app was that it helped me streamline the process of creating and sending invoices to my tenants. However, that is no longer the case... For some reason the app no longer connects directly to my email app and I find myself tweaking every email and adjusting text justification, looking up the tenants email, typing the email subject (before it was autogenerated using the invoice number), etc etc... Not the kind of task I want to be doing when I am paying for an a service app that is supposed to simplify things by auto filling the tenants' information from each "client" profile I already spent time setting up... It's really frustrating, please fix it!

Nickel and Dime you ....DONT Buy !!!!. I’ve never written a review in my life believe it or not but I felt compelled.....I have had it with this application. I have been using for several years and anytime I reach a threshold it wants to charge me more . I’m at a 100 customers and pay $30 a month . The only reason I stay at $30 is because I’m changing customers names or deleting on a regular basis so I’m having to write up on an excel my customers info so as to save and I send myself a copy of estimate or invoice . I just noticed you also have a limit not only on customers but on the amount of invoices and estimates you can create . It’s simply ridiculous. I downloaded Keap ! Far more intuitive and I’ve transferred my info into Keap which allows for 500 customers and far more robust . If you’re going to pay for an invoice app don’t use this one . I gave it 2 starts Because it does the job and simple to use but the fees and up charges are downright robbery, also doesn’t even let you access if you don’t upgrade once you reach any limit so you’re forced to purchase just to get the data you already have entered. Highway Robbery !!!!!

Good when it works, expensive, can’t view past invoices unless account is renewed!. Half of last year I couldn’t email estimates and invoices to clients. Neither from phone or laptop. I actually had to print estimates out and snail mail them. Unacceptable from an app! When I started using Invoice2go in 2012 I believe, it was $15 for the app. Now it’s $10 a month to start up again. They consider an estimate to a new person as a client. Essentially, if you give 20 estimates and get no bids approved, they think you have 20 clients and have to pay extra to keep the service. Being the new year now and tax season rolling into view, I can’t look at my paid invoices from last year until I pay out. I can understand not being able to add new invoices or estimates. But I already paid for last years and you’ve taken that away.

Great app and keeps getting better. I work in film production and this app has become an essential part of my business. From keeping track of clients and payments to customizing billable items and discounts. With the recent addition of separating parts and labor, it’ll be a great tool for helping clients understand that these are two SEPARATE things. With that being said, even more customization would be very helpful as not all business models are the same and clients would be more comfortable seeing terms they are familiar with. Also, as a freelancer, the ability to attach pdf forms would be incredibly helpful as I nearly always am required to provide employment documents (W9s, etc) with each new client. Having the ability to bundle that with my invoice would help to streamline the whole process and make getting paid happen that much quicker.

Your money? Lol, not anymore. As if paying taxes on your hard earned income wasn’t enough, using this app you will be giving even more of your money away. You will pay a monthly fee of either 9.99, which only allows you to send only 5 invoices of which you will also be paying credit card and transfer fees if you don’t open a debit account with Invoice2go, or you pay 35$/mo to avoid the fees and get a lot of unnecessary features. I’ve been trying to link my PayPal account since day 1 but the verification process always freezes when I attempt to verify my account. Being that one of my clients has 3 different gov’t properties that require individual invoices for each location, one day of work takes up the majority of my invoices and I’m losing a percentage of each just to have the payments make it to my pocket and no means of billing anymore customers without shelling out more subscription fees just to pay more transfer fees. For greed alone, I’m placing this company in the same respect level I placed Bud Light

Looking for something else. I’ve been using this for over a year now and up until recently had no complaint. I am constantly on the road traveling for work and getting new clients along the way so I need a way I could send off a quick invoice while on my trip and not have it take too long. They closed my account in December. Said I needed to fill out forms and never got them in. She said they called everyone the last few days just to make sure. I got one email, which I missed and no phone calls. Ever since I started everything back up it’s been one problem after another. I’ve had to change my passwords at least 5 times in the last week because it keeps telling me my password is wrong. Today it happens twice in the span of 2 hours. I will be looking for an alternative aoluntion

No customer service for money to go. I lost my money to go debit card. They canceled it then I asked them if I can get a new one. They told me to call another number which led right back to the same people. I’ve been emailing them back-and-forth. I still haven’t got a new card I’ve been with Invoice2go from the beginning and I feel like their financial product just is not ready for prime time. It takes too many days for the payment to make it to your account, the transactions are not clear and they have no custom support. They have a AI chat but that’s Garbage. I emailed them they couldn’t find my account I sent all of my paperwork. I still haven’t gotten an answer back. I love Invoice2go but I feel that they’re trying to force their credit card processing partner on us and they are not up to the Job Stripe delivers your money. Instantly these guys have you waiting and waiting and waiting. Please do something as I love Invoice2go but money to go has got to go.

You were perfect until you weren’t.... You guys were almost perfect until you didn’t have a Square integration and opted for Stripe & Paypal -and we’re almost certain it was a cost/scale decision before anything else, unless it wasn’t. I mean it’s obvious, choose two companies who respectfully are either behind in total product development or so grandfathered in that politics hinders innovation. But heeey...We get it, it’s that sweet grey matter of FinTech possibilities, either you’re “neutral” or on the deep & disparaging ends of history. You know, being so great that bureaucracy stagnates you, or trying to state relevant in a sea of hungry sharks doing who knows what to get you in to their product. Happy Trails!!! I wonder if you guys thought about partnering with Keeper Tax, you should check their app out.

Nightmare of an App. This app has been absolutely horrible. Starting up my business I linked all my accounts and began billing via card payments after being verified. Days passed with nothing being processed to my account. I had a client payment sit for a week after waiting days to be able to charge them upon applying to process card payments before still not receiving payment. The app just continued to say the payment was being processed and would show in 4-5 business days. Contacted support which did not have any way by phone, was told to respond to email where they had emailed asking for now a second form of verification for card payments even though I had already been allowed access to process cards. Upon then providing the info asked for, my account was then deleted and I lost all access to it. I contacted support and I was told they discontinued serving me for reasons not disclosed to me and basically said oh well now losing me thousands of dollars in invoice payments.

Used to be a decent app, now JUST A SCAM. This used to be a cheap tool for processing basic invoices for small business. Over the past few years it’s become mired in excessive and well-hidden fees, rendered completely useless by bugs, fills your inbox and push notifications with junk mail, and to top it all off THE SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION BUTTON DOES NOT EXIST. Yes, I followed their “guide” that necessitates you try to cancel via three different methods to figure out which one you originally signed up with. I eventually had to send a screenshot of the broken account management page to their chat service, after dealing with their inept AI chat tool for far too long to get to a real person. They then confirmed they saw the same thing on their end. It’s absurd to have a yearly billing service with no cancellation option and very purposeful method of wasting your time if you do try to cancel through their “help” lines. These are very poor business practices, please don’t support this company.

Probably good again?? FINALLY. Trying to be fair here. This app WAS amazing! They totally and completely ruined the app with perhaps the poorest update in the history of software. I stuck with them for close to a month hoping they would make it useable again. The whole time my business suffered from my perfect invoicing app being totally reformatted, and EVERY feature I needed to make things so smooth were removed. Then came the server issues that made it 100% useless. I stopped using the app out of necessity, opting for a different invoicing app (while still having a full year subscription). I now only have the app for this years accounting purposes. Since then they have worked hard to fix what they messed up. It now appears to be a very good app again. I’ve given them a few stars back on their ratings, but I’ll never use them again. They’ve already burned that bridge. I would bet that new folks will love what they’ve done, and that it would be a great invoicing app option.

Need assistant! Money has been taken. I have had invoice to go for years. Last year the payment option was switched to on without my knowledge and taking card payments. I had no idea and when I discovered this a company was taking my money without my consent. I never got my money back...I should have deleted the app then but with all my info saved I stayed. This week...the payment option was turned on again without my knowledge and clients were paying Apple Pay...and I DONT HAVE APPLEPAY! I don’t even know how this is possible but hundreds is now not in my bank and somewhere else. You can’t even call anyone for customer service and then you email and they say it’s not there problem. I emailed...I’m waiting but now I am very very upset and other people should know about this, and they should also know this is beyond UNEXCEPTABLE! I own 2 businesses and this is not how you run one. If you want to have this star taken down you can call me directly like a normal company and fix this issue for me!

Broken. I signed up and made an account because I need to be able to send invoices to customers. I made my account, and when you log on, it asks for a subscription of $9.99 per month. You aren’t able to view anything on the app or even close the pop up until you subscribe. I subscribed and put in my credit card information, verified my email address, finished up everything with the account creation, yet the subscription message STILL does not go away. I’ve closed out if the app completely and tried to reopen it, but the subscription pop up comes up and still does not allow me to do ANYTHING on the app other than “Subscribe”. When I push subscribe, it tells me I’ve already subscribed. When I hit “ok” then a message comes up saying “An error has occurred” and I get stuck on the subscription pop up. I deleted the app and reinstalled it in hopes it would fix the issue, but I still am unable to use the app at all. Please make this subscription pop up able to be closed by the user.

Mark invoice paid. I don’t know what’s happened, but I can no longer mark an invoice paid on my iPhone. I have to go to my iPad to do so. I can select the invoice I want to mark paid, but the button to mark paid doesn’t display. It also cuts off the top of the information on the first invoice displayed in the list. Secondly, on my iPad when I get ready to email the invoice, I don’t get the option to verify that it’s sending from my Gmail account. If it goes from the iCloud account, the email never arrives at the destination. So, I have to switch to my iPhone to send the invoice. Otherwise, I’ve been satisfied with how Invoice2go works for me. It’s fairly quick and easy. My needs are simple, and this works nicely for me. If you would fix those three (make it so it reliably sends from an iCloud account is a third) things above, I could change my review to more stars.

It was great easy and I recommend to my friends too. Last month I had this customer making a mistake paying the all invoice amount that it’s very easy to do the way the building the page. Like a trap if you don’t pay attention you pay the hole some, like this they charge you for the credit card commission and when the customer Realized what he did and I had to refund his money and guess what I sign small print that says it’s my problem You see what great customer service they have. First there is no way to find their phone number only email and same with Invoice2go if you don’t do unlimited planThey will not give you a phone number to talk to somebody only emails. As I pointed before great customer service they don’t care about the customer only about money. After I told them I’m going to disconnect then they called me to tell me the apologized there is nothing we can do for you but we do everything we can. Getting worse day by day.. Wow this app is getting worse and worse with the less features. Used to be able to take a credit card on spot for a COD company, no longer able to do that and must send out a invoice to get paid. No more instant websites either. They took that away from us, all while still paying a premium price for half the stuff and inconvenience to use. Used to be a small business user friendly app. No longer that way. Find another app. This company is all about the money with the premium monthly or yearly charge and not the clients. Their customer service is also horrible and give a run around when issue arises. I haven’t been able to a solid answers for questions I have. Just a return message stating something not even related to my question. And you don’t even have time to respond before they close the ticket. So you have to start the process all over again and wait days for them to reply back without them knowing you wrote to them before.

Update ruined everything. I used to love this app-it made my life so easy and quick. I could create and email an invoice within 2 minutes and it was such a breeze. The simplicity was why I chose this app. Now, it is so complicated for many reasons. For example, it has automatically changed my design, and now has both my logo and company name both appearing-so that it looks funny with my logo blocking part of my company name-so I go ahead and remove the company name in settings, and it shows me that the company name has been removed. Therefore, I go ahead and send an iNvoice to a client and notice after it’s sent when I hit preview that it didn’t indeed remove the company name, and no matter how many times I try to remove it in settings, it doesn’t disappear from my invoices. This app no longer works like it used to. On top of that, it’s showing me random invoices that have either already been paid or have been deleted-and they are still Showing up in my unpaid section like doubles. Why did you have to ruin such a good thing? I will most likely take my business elsewhere.

Save yourself a LOT of headache and DON’T use this company. *Edited to add* per their ‘developer response’ we reached out to their support email and we’re told “Unfortunately, we are unable to provide further information in regards to this decision.” Literally use any other invoice platform. Their customer service is trash and they won’t even provide a reason why after they delete ALL of your invoices and information. We’ve been using Invoice2Go for about 6 months and randomly received an email asking for a LOT of information (all of our business documents, bank statements, pictures of our IDs and passports, even selfies - honestly I thought it was a crazy spam email at first) with a very short timeline to send or ‘your account will be disabled until the documents are submitted’. Well, when I contacted them I was told our account had been canceled and ‘we wish you luck in finding a service that meets your needs’. They have multiple complaints with the Better Business Bureau for this same thing. It seems they send an email asking for crazy amounts of information with a 3-7 day time limit and then they shut down your account with no way to access any of your info. We have multiple invoices that haven’t been paid and we’re now having to go through all of our records to re-send invoices through quickbooks. Just save yourself the trouble and go with quickbooks to begin with!

Almost. I have had this app for awhile now and I gotta say I love most everything about it. It’s excellent and keeps all invoicing as simple as possible. I would recommend getting top plan though. It’s this reason I didn’t give it five stars I currently have the advanced plan the one under the top plan. If you don’t have the top plan and run a business like I do, every time you send any invoice of substantial amount they charge you a fee, and my client bc I have card fees turned on for my customers if they use a card. It could be me or them however you want it. But charging me also bc they said I don’t have top plan. Yeah it don’t make sense, so if you don’t have top plan and don’t pay for it they will just take fees from what your being paid anyway. So remember that. If you don’t top plan they will just fine you anyway.

Great to horrible to good and now bad. Been with Invoice2go for several years, it used be great then they updated and it was horrible. As time went they put out bug fixes and it turned out to be good. Now they updated again, search function is junk, think they took a huge step back. Sometimes I search for an item, using the exact words, and it doesn’t pull up, junk. Search function is still garbage, the only way to make it work is to type in the word in the search bar but DO NOT hit the search button. Also, constant with the login issues, sometimes just can’t login and there’s a message saying contact us, go to their website and OH, we’re having difficulties again. Shouldn’t be a hassle to send an invoice or estimate especially when customer is waiting on one and you have to tell them. Sorry, my program is down AGAIN 🤦‍♂️

Rip Off. There was nothing that mentioned this was a subscription when I purchased. Or that it was a 1 year subscription purchase. It was $99 so I tried it. I just got a notification that my subscription is expiring and this came as a shock. They want $34 a month for this glitchy app. They take a lot of money for processing the transaction and they take money to transfer the funds. What a rip off. I am not paying $400 a year plus the steep fees they charge. My transactions are mostly over $1k and they always charge 3% plus transfer fee. For a $2900 invoice payment, I received $2813. Most invoices are over $5k and to take 3% off these would be robbery. So I turn off the credit card option. Then they bombarded you with emails that you need to link your bank again just to trick you into turning on the credit card payment. With over $200,000 transactions in a year, they took a lot of money and they still want a subscription fee?!!! congratulations that you guys made an app but there’s no way I’m letting you take any more of my hard earned cash for nothing. There are so many features this app is missing. Also estimates and invoices vanish for no reason. It very glitchy so it’s really not worth $400 a year plus 3% off all your transactions. I’m using a different app or just go back to my old invoicing system on excel.

TERRIBLE DO NOT USE THEM. This company is a SCAM. DO NOT USE THEM. Square or PayPal is the way to go. I used PayPal for years and decided to try something new.. at first their site appears to be easy to use and their invoices have several different option’s which I thought were fun and different. However once you take payment from a client it all changes. They HOLD YOUR MONEY. There is nowhere to see where your money is. Then they email you not a call.. an email to request you upload SEVERAL DOCUMENTS in order for your money to be released! They allow you to take payments.. but then say they won’t release your money until you upload utility bills, A SELFIE! drivers lic, bank statements, irs info etc etc..they say it’s the law that you upload these items….sending in a selfie is not the law!!! IT IS A SCAM!! I made the mistake of taking 3 payments .. 12 days has gone by and NO ONE can tell me where the money is. I uploaded a selfie and everything they asked for which is ridiculous and still haven’t seen my money. I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT IS 100% a scam.

They are alienating customers. Invoice2go was a great program many years ago. then they did the big update, causing many headaches. Then the keep doing “updates” that change functionality but not for the better. If they just left it alone, it would have been good. And they also keep jacking the price up. It is now costing more than ever, with less and less usable features. Edit 4-30: I read your response and at this point it does no good. You guys are quick to answer negative reviews but not quick to solve problems. Talking to support does no good. I have emailed support 3-4 times about issues that effect the usability and functionality of your product. These problems were non-existent before the update. The response I have gotten from support basically tells me that they dont see it as a problem. In the end, I will be phasing out my business on this program and going to use a different program. Invoice2go was a great app. That all changed with every update where it gradually got worse and worse. Literally every update makes this app more of a headache for me to use. It was so easy to use before the “updates”. Why complicate simplicity?? Edit 9-3: I have been a user of I2go for a few years now and they keep jacking the price up. It’s now gotten to the point where they know I need the service and keep charging us more and more money. It’s time to cut the cord with these guys and use somebody else.

Great app!. I love Invoice2go I been with them since 2021. The price has gone significantly higher than it was before would be my only complaint. This is because after finding quick books intuit and what they have to offer as far as user friendly business tools and the ability to have pretty much everything taken care of including tracking of miles, expenses, personal expenses, and other things that are relevant to the business for just $10 more than the professional subscription on the on Invoice2go. With that being said I hope I’n the nead future Invoice2go will have these features for its users cause they are highly needed and are great resources to have. I stick with Invoice2go despite the high price for little amount of invoicing and fewer tools because although quickbooks has all those one thing you can not do is edit/customize your invoice to be your own. It just provides a generic boring invoice layout that doesn’t allow for a company to be original in the paperwork side of things. With Invoice2go you can make your invoice to your liking and have it looking really nice and professional and I love that. I also hope to see more features like this to choose from with this app. Overall it’s a great app and the payment system and bank account is great for the business. Thank you Invoice2go! Great app for making invoicing easier. I am a carpenter and don’t love the paperwork side of being in business for myself so anything to make that easier is appreciated. I have used this app for two years and never had any regrets about the app. I do warn you about not using the credit card payment feature, which is processed through Stripe. I had a large payment get accepted by Stripe, that Stripe then refused to pay out on. It took two months and threats of legal action by both myself and my client who made the payment before Stripe would refund my client their money. I refuse to ever do business with Stripe again, but I continue to use the app because it’s worth it.

Great app, have a few suggestions. Love this app and have been using it between multiple businesses for a few years now. It would be great to see an option for a deleted invoices so you can track invoice numbers even when theyre deleted. That way theres no question where an invoice ended up. If possible, it would be nice to see the cost of an item posted to the invoice as well. Theres an option to add this but I havent seen a option to translate this to the pdf. We use this option when we rent gear to folks. Also, if there was a calendar option to track what items you have are out at which times that would be great. I understand this turns your app to cover a broader band on clients but its a great option instead of having to use a different calendar to track items that are on the invoicing software.

Horrific Customer Service.. Have been using app for years. Paid a premium to get a great invoicing program for my small construction business for many years now. Have recommended in past for several friends because it’s ease of use . Over the years they have added self-serving features to make them more money like taking credit card payments and offering YOUR clients financing that does not benefit you and make you look like you gouging YOUR own client. Although these features can be turned off, They mysteriously get turned back on during updates. Happened to me and a client mistakenly paid a 3k invoice by credit card and now I’m stuck waiting 5-10 days to get paid. 3% credit card fees plus transaction charge, plus 5-10 days waiting period to get my money all from an app I PAY to use $100 a year ! If you like to see your money you work hard to earn. Don’t bother with them. Wolf in sheep clothing. Tried to call to see if they could fix issue. Good luck finding a number to call. Lots of help topics that steer you as far way from even finding where to contact them. May be easier to fly to Palo Alto to personally knock some sense into them.

A few kinks. So I got this app as I was in a pinch to do a quick invoice on the go and since the initial buy was only 2.99 I figured perfect and if I like it I can upgrade. However, it is not as simple and it does not update or keep your information if switching from percentage to flat rate in taxes as well as not allowing just a 0x without making strange adjustments. It does have some great features to add to the invoice, but it does not allow you to add more then a line for job information, nor does it allow an itemized section. It is not as easy as I initially wanted but all of the information on the particular job I started with was already input so it was just easier to keep for this job. Unless updates are made to make it save the information you ask it to, and not constantly have to reset and save. As well as you can only use your signature one time unless you upgrade to more then the 2.99 a month, you cannot add your signature with a new date unless you pay more and this has caused problems as the date does not change and if there is a way to change it without paying more as the bubble popes up saying you must upgrade to the higher level if you want to use a different signature, then it doesn’t make it easy to figure it out. I’m paying 2.99 a month for a difficult app, so as soon as this job is over, I will be discontinuing use.

Lots of money for so many issues. We’ve been using Invoice2Go for many years. And with the more recent updates it’s become more and more annoying. I have had invoices I’ve started or even completed with totals either fully or partially disappear, which is wonderful when the boss is asking why I haven’t done the billing when in fact I did! If my cell signal is slightly weak, and try to create an invoice it can’t seem to number the next bill sequentially. Leaving me to look up the last bill and enter a invoice number manually. And if I create the following invoice even with good internet connection, the app creates the new following invoice with the same number as the one I had to manually enter!! And with more recent updates, no matter how many times I turn off the optional payment methods ( credit cards or PayPal ) they get magically turned back on!!! I have customers then saying they would like to pay with credit, and I tell them we don’t accept it. They show me that their bill says we do! Jesus you can’t even know how much heart ache this software is causing me! Do yourself a huge favor and look elsewhere for invoicing software.

Disappointed. The software isn’t very user friendly. If you create and estimate be sure to click save every time you enter a line item because if you back out to do something else or get interrupted this software will not auto save for you, you will have to restart the entire estimate and re-enter all the information tediously. Expect to have issues on different printers you use to print out your estimates or invoices I had problems with the print not being legible I contacted customer service and they basically told me I’m on my own and there was nothing they could do. Expect to pay very high prices for this obsolete software as well. They force you into upgrading your subscription by limiting your client entry meaning you can only enter in a certain amount of clients basically they only give for example 50 clients and 400 estimates which makes absolutely no sense. I do not recommend this invoice maker what so ever. You guys are terrible business people and I genuinely hope you do not succeed I’m highly dissatisfied with your software, your customer service, and your ethics of business.

Do not get invoice2go!. I have been a customer with them for the past 6 years. They recently closed my account because i did not want to share personal information with them. Now they are refusing to reopen my account so that i can get all my clients information and important stuff i had saved. They have never requested any of my personal information for the past 6 years so why would they now? NOTE:This is personal information that i would only provide to the US Government if requested! Not just any random app. Not to mention that i just renewed my subscription for $399 for 1 year a couple months ago and they are refusing to give me a refund for the remaining time i have left. Please save you a headache and stress and try a different app! I also dislike their customer service! They dont have anyone that you can actually speak with over the phone, just email and sms with a stupid Bot! It is very disappointing!

I’ve paid for the service twice and it keeps telling me that my free trial is over. I paid for a month the first time and it told me that my free trial was up and all of my invoices and client info was lost. I then bought a year of service because I really did like the app. After 30 days the notice for my free trial period ending came up and it won’t recognize that I have paid for a year and will only let me look at subscriptions. What a rip, I was at a job trying to do an estimate when this happened and had no way to generate or submit my estimate. The money for this subscription has been taken out of my bank account and everything and still cannot use the app.

Bogus App charges a ridiculous surplus to get paid.. Used once-terrible scam of a company. One, it’s not free. They automatically sign you up for a “free 14 day trial.” I don’t submit invoices more than 30 times a year-so having to o pay $2.99 a month is stupid...I didn’t realize this until I sent out my first pdf invoice with the app. At the bottom left of the invoice there is a hyperlink for the client to pay- I figured this link would go nowhere since I didn’t set up any kind of direct deposit as I had just installed the app. I figured the client would just send a paper check out like usual...not the case. They clicked the link immediately after I submitted the invoice-and guess where the payment went? A sketchy credit bureau called stripe. (The kind of place terrible temp jobs send your paycheck and you get enormous fees for simply wanting YOUR MONEY) The Client clicked the link, made the payment, (through no fault of they’re own) and now I’m stuck with a near 10% surcharge to get money I earned, not stole like these scumbags. Do yourself a favor, just create invoices the old fashioned way and submit a normal pdf. Screw this company, seriously.

Change of Stripe for cc processing looses functionality. With the loss of Stripe, you can no longer issue credit card, refunds or partial refund without emailing invoice to go to do that. I tried two months ago and it never was done. This is gonna be a big time loss of time and will take more time to keep track of what is being done especially if you have to refund a partial payment. My customers are already frustrated that I was not able to refund a payment in any kind of timely manner since I was going back-and-forth with email trying to get that done. I have also noticed with the new processing it takes an extra day and if it’s over a weekend a couple extra days for the money to go into your account I did set up ACH and linked it to my checking account for auto transfer and nothing was set up correctly and it completely shut off the credit card function. I already had set up working now for me to get a payment. Now it will take a full week for me to get that payment into my checking account without having to use their debit card which I have not received yet since I just set that up. Just spent two hours texting back-and-forth with the help Desk to be told that I still need to send them an email for the refund to be done in the first place. On top of trying to figure out why my auto transfer into my checking did not take place when I was working last week. To be told that it was shut off. which was never done on my side.

Tough Luck Approach to Customer Service and Devolving Usability Outweigh Remarkable Potential. I once really loved this app as it makes the process easy for the client. I was even comfortable paying high membership rates on top of the percentage fee and I was happy to stick around and things changes without warning and got progressively more glitchy. I am a seasonal business and a big part of the draw for the app was that it will charge monthly at a higher rate, which I'm happy to pay if I don't have to pay year-round for something I only use for a couple months. After my busy season when I went to the free membership the option to look at my reports from the navigation menu disappeared. After I spent quite a while looking for where the reports may have gone, I went to the customer service for a chat. No effort was made to address my concern besides saying I had to upgrade whenever I wanted to see the reports for $40. It's an insult to withhold reports from months in which they made a good amount of money from me. I've double-checked, and the membership plans descriptions do not mention anything about reports, so it's also deceitful and maybe even illegal. I will pay the $40 to get my reports for taxes and I’ll never use it again. It's quite sad to have lose a platform that I loved and had great potential, and frustrating because it took a lot of effort and time to base my income activities around this company which in turn, seems to not care what I think.

Easy to use. Not bad for and invoice app, does almost all I need it to do. They get you on price, unless you pay for the unlimited invoice per month they limit you terribly on how many invoices you can send so it’s either pay for the unlimited or your only allowed to send 2-5 invoices a month. Xero would be the better choice for sure.

Sad to leave. I’ve been with Invoice2go since 2011. I paid $12 for the app and it was amazing. I’ve built a great business using this software. I only use the invoices and expense but the paying online has helped me get paid quicker. It’s fantastic. The reason I’m giving it 2 stars is the price. $384 for the year. That. Is. Insane. What small business would do that? My other business uses another provider which is $11 per month. Unless you guys can change that, I’ll be leaving in the 21 days I have left on my subscription. Not much software is worth that much money. That’s more than Indesign and over 3x that of Office 365. Thanks for the 8 years!

Invoice to go works for me as a small business operator. Invoice to go works very well for me when it's particular features receipts and being able to upload photos to my invoices find is very efficient while I am on the go keep up the good work thank you

From Great to really bad...very disappointed loyal customer. I’ve had Invoice2Go from the start and was happy to be with them for life. But they kept improving the software and charging more and more for it. I just needed the basic function. I was happy to pay $80/year for what I use it for but now it’s over $450/year which is a ridiculous jump on price when I don’t use any of the new features. I got it because it did invoicing and it was great. But like other loyal customers, the changes haven’t been the best and the costs unfair to the initial user base. As a last ditch effort to remain a customer, I asked for a discount to help me and was told there were no discounts allowed. Then I received an email for 50% off if I renewed but once trust is broken, it is difficult to continue the relationship. I really like the software but they have priced themselves out of my range and they haven’t looked after the customers that have supported them in the past. Having said that, I wish them all the best and thank them for creating great software for small business. Invoice2go, you were my first invoicing program and I love you but I know you found someone better. 💔

Disappointed. It was great then they did a update and it’s terrible and not reliable, I have had time tracking just disappear so lost hours of tracking my work time multiple times, since update invoices have not been sending and have left my funds low as clients where not receiving their invoices at all (not going to junk or any other folder) they should send from my email but the app is doing it and obviously failing at doing so. If the app still worked how it did I would be giving 5 stars

SO DISAPPOINTED. I downloaded and started using this app when it first came out. I had nothing but good things to say about it. I got so many small business owners onto this app as well. Last year the price crept up and I have to say that customer service offered me a small discount so I signed on for another year. A week later I got an email to say the plan I’d signed up for was now 50% off. So disappointing. But now.. I’ve run out of invoices and when I go to look at the plans, they’ve gone up again? I don’t know how you can justify going from $89 a year to $379? the fact that even at that you get 400 clients and only 400 invoices is absolutely ridiculous. What a joke. That’s just one invoice per client? Seriously? I have never been so disappointed and disgusted in the greediness of a company I’m done now, you’ve priced this small business owner out of your market ✌🏼

I hope the APP can do better. I have registered a new business, and the billing information before is no longer used. Still want to use the account that already registered. But I changed all the information and I couldn't change my ABN number. So I want to unsubscribe first. Sign up for a new account. Unfortunately, it took me a long time to find a way to unsubscribe. Is there a better solution? Or how do I unsubscribe?

Extra features. I love this app! However I’ve come across two features that I would love! The first is the ability to sort my expenses by Merchant, not just category. Having the ability to see how much I’ve spent at each merchant would be a feature I would use a lot. Secondly the ability to recover deleted expenses and invoices. For example, if there was a folder the deleted invoices and expenses go into for say 30 days, this way you can recover it if you change your mind. This will be handy if after deleting something, a few days later circumstances change and you realise you need to recover it but because this is not possible you have to create a whole new invoice/expense. This feature would be a big help in those moments! Thanks

A very handy time saving app. Great app layouts easy to use customizing your invoices is a breeze only down side they are far far from been fair and affordable a booklet off a thousand invoices cost $4 from the post office and a quote book about the same and takes roughly the same time to write up for clients only storage and filing paper work is a breeze on the app yet the app developers want to sell you 50 invoices and a total off 5 clients for around $30 a year what good it’s that to anyone who is running a serious business, and after you buy the lite version there is no quotes allowed to be done just invoices !!! Easily the worst developer idea ever no wonder every business I ask uses “Tiny Invoices” they obviously run a legitimate business and have a grasp on how businesses operate. An app like this should do so well, it’s made brilliantly and polished off nicely yet your lake off high ratings and reviews is clearly a result of your sales and PR team missing it’s target this isn’t a kids game it’s a gambling app if I pay for a service I want the whole service and there is no point in charging people $89 for 200 invoices and $260 for the full app again missing out, as any large company will most likely have a office staff working on invoices and quotes that work into there accounting or are inclusive with the accounting program.

What’s happening. I have used this app to run my small business for the past 5 years. I was so happy with original app setting and user friendly features that I actually recommended at least 10 of you friends to sign up. This new look and update has been a very frustrating time and I am baffled that I am still having problems to do such a basic task that you had fine tuned so well previous years ago. I payed my yearly subscription again as I am a Otay customer but I have to say I wish I didn’t. Please sort this out and get back to basics. Maybe a loyalty discount should be offered for everyone that has had to endure this.

Should of left a good thing alone !. Why do you people continue to update this app for goodness sake. You had a great product originally and you have gone and stuffed it up. First update you lose all my "product list" which took me years to build and then simply give me oops "were sorry" you have hiked the prices of subscription up and now continue to meddle with totally meaningless updates ! And rest assured you will follow this with a comment below with we are sorry. Well this is the straw that broke the camels back you have lost this customer and i would not recommend this app as i have done for years to all my subcontractors to use this, what has now become irrelevant APP !

Priced your self out of the market. I’ve been an Invoice2go user since you first started, back then if you wanted the full app with all the features you got the paid version which was a one off fee, I found the app perfect for what I wanted it had all the features I needed however only 2 or 3 years went by and you decided that we should pay a subscription, well I thought the app was good enough so I got your subscription, started off at about $30, however since then you have added some features that I don’t want or use and removed other features that I do use, some of these features moved into a higher subscription, I’ve ended up on the $160+ sub that doesn’t have all the features I used to have, I have a contracting business where I do about 15 to 20 invoices annually, that’s more than $13 per invoice, seriously! Well I’m going elsewhere now, your greed has cost you and no I’m not interested in your 50% off for 1 year. The horse has bolted!

Not many reviews get taken seriously with feedback so it’s great to know that you do. I haven’t used the app yet as I got a question before I start, I’m planning to make my business on my own Facebook page and well I’m wondering if I signed in with Facebook that it’ll use that information to help it’s performance. If that isn’t a feature already that would be a great idea for a new update! I haven’t made the page yet as I’m waiting until I’m all settled for it. It’s Made life easy for me. Love Invoices 2Go, have been using for 2-3 years now and love the ease of use. Only 1 issue is the renewal fee is higher than the competition but the company has been flexible( or I would have left). Would recommend this if you have a small business or are a sole trader. This company allowed funds to be transferred to a third party without requesting my consent prior, apparently “toggling” is considered consent, it wasn’t until I could not locate my funds that I found out that is was sitting in some third party’s bank account, when I asked when it would be given to myself they told me I need to create an account first, how is it possible that my funds have landed somewhere else without firstly providing written consent or most importantly not being a customer or theirs??? When I requested the funds to be transferred they told me I had to create an account first, this is illegal I have provided my account details to a third party for my funds to be transferred into not to a third party

Makes business life so easy. I have been using Invoice2go for many years now and I’m extremely happy with the service. I have had some minor issues but the Service team have always been able to resolve them extremely quickly.

Not happy with app. I have been running my business with invoice to go I don’t know for maybe five years plus and out of each year has been getting more expensive to renew the app! Why? App keeps freezing up can’t preview old invoices And have lost all descriptions have to start again all addresses for previous jobs. I want a full refund

USED TO BE GOOD, NOT ANYMORE!. Since the Major changes I would struggle to recommend it to another business. After losing so many invoices due to installing and reinstalling as advised by your support team, the email system never working properly and having to learn a whole new way to use the software. The home overview isn’t keeping up to date anymore and it’s just become a major struggle compared to what it used be. I’ve been a longtime user as well and I really don’t know if I’ll be continuing to pay for this service in the future. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the old version, yes NOTHING WRONG. I understand you need to update for different versions of operating systems but this is just a joke now. My primary concern is that if I continue to use the software and get used to it, you guys will just go and change it again leaving me in the same struggle.

Confidentiality data issues and lack of support. Have put several million dollars through this invoice program and have been able to work through previous problems but recent faults are unacceptable. Presently we have one customer who is receiving all credit card payment information and invoices from any payment we try and process. Apart from being a confidentiality issue spamming one customer with others information the intended customer is not getting any information. We obviously cannot use this program with this issue and invoice2go does not care. We only a get standard response. We will look into it. All avenues to get help over the past few days are met with the same reply, thanking us for the information and they will look into it then silence. Nothing! No updates on progress. No time frame. No information if the problem is happening with everyone or an isolated issue. The lack of support and information is infuriating as we cannot conduct business and invoice customers until this issue is fixed. Going on four days later after support emails, online chats and phone calls....still no help or information. The subscription prices have risen sharply and as we are reliant on this program to operate we have had to pay but are now looking into using something else. Very disappointed!

Terrible customer support!. I’m currently locked out of my account and customer support is of absolutely no help. Definitely would not recommend this app for this reason. Will most definitely not be continuing with this service once I manage to gain access to my records again

Updates have wrecked everything. A few years ago invoice 2 go was fantastic! Easy, functional, and best of all affordable. Then they decided to update their software to the “cloud”, which upon doing so wiped out all of our previous years client history.... we tried everything to get it all back but had no success. We also tried contacting Invoice to go through every avenue and eventually received a half hearted apology from some disgruntled rep over the phone, but otherwise was completely ignored. They also significantly increase the price of subscription after your second year, sort of like a drug dealer in an attempt to get you dependant. The new “cloud” based system is painfully slow and confusing. Every update forces you to re learn everything, which is a painfully waste of time. To summarise: -Poor customer service. -expensive. -slow and unreliable software. -confusing updates

What are you waiting for ???. I CARRY ONE DEVICE The cost of the app is nothing compared to the time you save and money you loose trying to write or look for a invoice on your computer or laptop . This app runs on my work iPhone I invoice using my phone ONE device the same iPhone I call email and INVOICE . My weekends are now free I invoice on the spot and email on the spot.

I’ve been using Invoice2go for year now, I’ve always found the app to be reliable and easy to navigate around the invoices and quotations I send out always look professional and I the background it takes care of all the business elements ie taxes and reports which I find to make life easier

Was aiming for greatness, now focussed on greediness. I’ve been with Invoice2go for years now, it was amazing back then, back when it was a once only payment for an app and that was it. Now they’ve overcrowded it with useless features, made it flashy but not practical. It’s like putting a hair dryer on a fridge. I’ve been accepting and understanding of their changes to their “subscriptions”, but paying 300+ a year for just being able to invoice is ridiculous! $180+ a year was a stretch unto itself (for me that equates to roughly $1 an invoice), but this?! I think I’m going to be jumping off this train and just using their competitors who don’t have a track record of focusing on greed. I will be advising all my peers to do the same.

Simple to use while still having most requirements. I have tried a few free invoicing apps but they always seem to lack substance or make things very mandrollic. This app is not over complicated but it still provides fairly substantial customisation and options within the process. Only issue so far has been having to align payments with stripe which has lead to my first payment taking 2 weeks to clear which has been quite frustrating, but other than that it’s a great app for the monthly subscription and will keep using.

Impossible to cancel subscription. I have been a user for a few years, but over this time the process to manage my account has changed so much that it is now practically impossible to make changes on my account. When trying to cancel auto renew from a phone, it triggers an infinite loop from the app directing you to the website, and the website booting you back into the app. It is literally impossible to cancel from a phone, which is clearly designed to trap customers into keeping their account active for longer than they want. This company is money-grabbing and unethical. I will be cancelling my account as soon as I can (IF I even can).

Greedy. $384 for a years subscription to send invoices you must be kidding! I’ve found several other apps and one in particular for $7.50 a month. And it even has better features. Shame on you Invoice2go. Check out all your customer reviews and listen to what your customers are saying. I won’t be renewing anymore unfortunately which is a shame because I like the service.

Greed is (NOT) good. I’ve been using Invoice2go for around 4 yrs now. Easy to set up,reliability and relatively inexpensive. Around the time of the “big update” things changed dramatically. I lost all my Clients details,quotes and invoices past. Gone. I contacted Invoice2go to on numerous occasions for help. All I received was an apology. I lost two full days having to recreate everything lost. Next,and this is the most disappointing point... The price to upgrade has absolutely skyrocketed. I’m a small contractor that would send 20-30 invoices annually. The individual cost now for each invoice is simply outrageous. Please be aware, Invoice2go is not worth it. I’m definitely not satisfied with this product,and having read through the first few dozen reviews,I’m clearly not alone. A recurring theme with Invoice2go’s responses. “Sorry”. No,we are the ones that are sorry.

Must read this!. Be warned! The ethical business practice of this company is questionable! I’ve reported them to fair trading yesterday after two incidences that cost me around $100. Invoice2go implement partnerships with banking merchants in a sneaky non transparent fashion. The fees involved with these partnerships are ridiculous to the user- YOU!!! What’s even more disgusting is even when you disable these features on your end they “mysteriously” turn back on!!! I’m furious about the way I was treated yesterday and was offered no explanation on how this has happened. Once again I’m out of pocket to the financial gain of invoice2go and their partners. I used to recommend this app to friends NEVER AGAIN!

Misleading marketing. I got an email saying 50% off on upgrades. I asked about the offer and was told to pay the 50% of the full price of the new plan. I just renewed 2 months ago and have 10 months left. I am better off sticking with my old plan and upgrading it when it finished. I did some calculations and found out that I was just saving $50 not 50%. You need to be precise with your offers. I asked to someone who knows about the offer and was told that some from sales team will get back to me. 24hrs and no one has contacted me yet. I can’t believe I was told by the customer service that as a courtesy we will give you 2 months free.. I am paying for The upgrade and it should be included In the price. You can’t charge a customer for something which has already gone.

Would love to see direct debits for the reoccurring invoices and for invoices to automatically send without approval or pressing send “your half way there” just need that customized button to say auto approve and send. I would love to see what you guys are working on next with the app being big or small, is there any way to follow the upcoming features or road map?

Unreliable. I am still finding more things that just are not right anymore. Expenses that I have entered just drop off and invoices too. I am now sitting up having to go through a whole 3 months of receipts to see if they are actually showing. I still don’t know why you changed it as it’s obvious by us long time users reviews that we are not happy. Also, all the time I spent loading my pics of receipts was also a waste of time as now there is just a red x in replace and I can’t view them. Before update.... I run our business with this and it just keeps getting better over time. The support is awesome too, anytime I have a question it is answered straight away and followed up. After update EDIT Oh no I have to edit my 5 stars. Updated today 8th Nov and trying to do my BAS for the ATO and I can't even print my reports I need anymore. What's happened? I'm having to rethink my whole record keeping software now. Please bring back where we can print from the reports instead of it emailing a report which isn't even what you exported. When loading receipts in there is an extra 2 clicks to get what you need into the entry and you can't save the expense unless you write a description of some sort which isn't necessary for me. Why try and fix something that wasn't broken. It's too busy and hard to read. Tried on the laptop, same.

Invoices2go. Great little program I can run my business from has everything you need to make running your books easy and take the chore away. And the online support is fantastic with always giving step by step instructions should I have any issues. Would thoroughly recommend buying this program

We’ve been using this invoicing app for a couple of years, it’s good but the limiting number of clients you can have and having to up your subscription to retain more, and constantly having to delete clients is the only downfall. If you only have a small number of regular clients this app would be great, but if you are in the service industry and are servicing many new clients each week it gets a little frustrating having to constantly filter through client list and choose who to delete so you can fill out the next invoice.

Why do I have to pay For features I should’ve have been given. When I first got this it was amazing, worked well had every thing I needed and was easy to use, but after the free trial you get locked out, so I bought a years worth because I didn’t mine I was going to need the app so I thought it was worth it, now I have paid but I’m still not giving all the features, I am a illustrate so it was useful to attach pictures but now I have to pay $14 to use that feature and plus the $20 something dollars which is actually $50 a year, they call it the Standard addition so what was the year I bought just the introduction, if you are going use this app I highly advise you don’t, I am only just starting my business and cannot afford all to pay for features that should be Already given to me, one thing that makes me mad is that they do even tell you that you are not getting those features.

I did love this app right up until the last update.. I have been using this app for a couple of years and it does what I need and is well polished. That is till the last update was released. Now it crashes on my iPhone every time I try to open it. I uninstalled and re-downloaded it which seemed to work for the first go. But now it’s back to crashing every time I open it. This is happening on both my iphone8+ and iPad Pro. This app is useless if I can’t access it when I need it. So. Now the update to fix the problem won’t even log in! Great job!

Inv2go on Cloud is much better now. Since the new version came out we’ve had no more double ups and waiting to sync issues. At 1st it was a scary transition and I needed support to filter through little issues, also loosing the calendar was a worry as We had records and bookings that needed a calendar BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE HELPED and we set up google calendar and imported data to it, it all worked and GOOGLE calendar is AWSOME. I find it better and easier to switch between now that the calendar and Invoice2go are seperate apps. I agree with some that the new cloud version feels cluttered while making entries you are limited to parts, labour and expenses- no service charge/ booking fee/ initiation fee options.

Disappointed Again. This app is going from bad to worse with every update. It’s expensive and not fit for its purpose. I run millions of dollars through this app and the glitches are disturbing. Payments drop off after they have been processed and invoices keep getting sent as “overdue” to the client who has already paid their invoice. I can sometimes process payment on the same invoice 6 or 7 times. It’s ridiculous. It happens with such a large number of invoices and it makes us look unprofessional. I have contacted support over numerous emails and chats and they keep saying “they’ve never heard of this issue” turns out they are lying because if you read reviews below many people are experiencing data loss issues over different sections of the app. Sick and tired of excuses and getting no help with regards to it. The new update is slow, it lags a lot and has increased our time to process invoices. I won’t be renewing with these people anymore due to their lack of service and all technical glitches. DO NOT BUY THIS APP!

Good.......but!. I like that I can send an invoice immediately after delivery but after my customer pays and I make the invoice as paid, it shows up later as unpaid and I have to go back to my bank details, find the payment date and mark it again, EVERTIME. My next problem has started recently. Invoice 6. Has been paid. At the home page it is showing as unpaid and when I go to mark it as paid. It says nothing showing here in unpaid.

Amazing product it was,,,. After many loyal years as a customer. Renewed my account which works on my iPhone and tried several times to mirror the application on my iPad. To no avail. Failure after failure to open. Contacted customer support to find out the iPad, an older iPad. Is not supported. Tried logging in through safari and google and chrome via internet not app. Some hand shaking issue blocks this from being allowed. Between Invoice2go and Apple. This is not allowed. Customer service advised me to use another computer. Notebook or pc. I do not own another computer. I wish to use my login via the internet as I can do. No you can’t it’s an Apple Invoice2go deal. Ridiculous blocking redundant deal. That prevents me from using my data and web browser the way I wish. Extremely frustrating and deceitful.

Getting better, but.... Slowly getting better, still nowhere near the old version. I once was able to invoice on site now it takes too long, so I write down what I need to input and do it after the kids go to bed. (Starting to wonder if I need this anymore as it saves no time now) The items list has now put things in alphabetical order which has stuffed my number order, very annoying when you have over 70 items to scroll through and a request for the items to be in a certain order. Also can't add number of items needed at point of choice, has to be done in the following screen just making it more time consuming and frustrating .Basically very disappointed now So much slower to invoice.

Switched to a different app. I used this app for the last few years and at first it was perfect but as time went on they wanted more money to use the app and add more and more limitations to try get you to pay. When they decided to give me a 200 client limit I knew I was going to stop using this app. I run a business that provides small services where I can have up to 5 clients a day. How is it fair that I have the same limitation as a business that might have 5 clients a month doing bigger jobs or services that take longer periods of time for more money. You started well invoice 2 go and then you got greedy and blew it.

Expensive per invoice cost.. I used to use this app for my business back around 2010. It worked perfectly and i had paid upgrades inapp purchases that allowed for unlimited invoices. Unfortunately some time after that, during a device upgrade the version with that upgrade disappeared, and now its essentially useless without paying excessive costs. Great to see another developer who feels happy to use the purchases made by customers to fund changing the app to make their costs higher. There is no obvious change other than potentially a few extra templates, and bugfixes than what was on it back then. It was unfortunate to lose a large chunk of my accounting history - lucky invoices were always bcc’d to an email. Want value? Better off looking somewhere else. There are free unlimited invoicing apps with templates close to those available with this app. Feel free to refund my purchase from back then which was obviously not fit for purpose - as it was not advertised that the purchase would have an effective expiry date (yeah right).

Snowballing downhill. I was an original user of invoice to go, before they even charged for services, I’m talking at least 6 years ago, I have recommended to many businesses, then over time somehow their services have gotten worse. I am currently trying to send through a $25,000 bill, and I can’t even check the preview to ensure that all details are correct. Really professional. Since the major updates it has been a nightmare to negotiate. Instead of being able to edit any part of my invoice, all the details are broken into sub sections with multiple useless options. What used to be a 1 minute invoicing experience has changed too.. wait till I get home and spend 10 minutes creating the same invoice. I could write it out quicker on paper. I’ve noticed that the price keeps going up every year but the experience gets worse.

HEAVILY DISAPPOINTED 😓. Started using invoice to go a couple years back for invoicing through a plumbing business, at first the app was great, but since the recent update things have dramatically gone down hill! Now I can no longer search my customer base without internet connection witch is not an option while we are out working throughout the day, it has jumbled up a lot of things such as who has payed for jobs and who hasn’t witch makes things a lot harder and reflects badly upon our businesses professionalism! And the most recent update outdated our tablets and forced us to by new ones with the required OS version chosen by invoice2go, witch I know you’ve got to expect from time to time but when you pay good money (witch only seems to be getting more expensive year by year) for an application that your business relies on you expect a bit of cooperation from the Dev team! Very disappointed in the lack of response from invoice2go and the trouble it has caused. Definitely considering it we will stay with this application or not.

I want my money back. zero stars.. If you (invoice2go) are charging for a product that doesn’t do what you are advertising it to do, you owe your customers more than a generic automated response, you owe them their money back. Pay no attention to the obviously scripted in-house positive reviews, this is the WORST invoicing app. Deletes complicated invoices after completing. Crashes half way through emailing. ZERO cust service. It simply just doesn’t work. Updates that make it harder to use every time. Just quit the app game and give everyone their money back because this is a CON.

PDF Feature Request. I’m currently testing this app to find the best one to manage my business. I have been using the trial period to get to know the app and see what features are available. The main feature that the app doesn’t currently support that I would use a lot personally is the ability to attach documents from the files app. When filling out an expense for example, you can attach a photo or take a photo of the receipt so that you have a digital copy of the receipt on the expense form. However there’s no other option to attach say a PDF or file that isn’t in the photos app. The only work around that I can see is I would have to screenshot the PDF and then attach the screenshot to the expense. It’s not that big of a deal but when I get most of my receipts digitally it would make a huge difference to my efficiency of documenting expenses if I can simply attach a PDF from the files app to an expense form (or invoice for that matter) rather then having to filter everything through the files app. I would rate this app 5 Star if it had this request! Apart from that the app does everything else I need it to do and is well presented and very simple and easy to use. Thanks

Great app! Confusing subscription levels. The app itself is really easy to use and the inclusions per level (paid then premium) is great. I tried to upgrade to the first level up annually and ended up going to a different monthly subscription. The process to fix was complex and a lot reliant on my actions. Customer service were pleasant but not efficient in fixing my issue. For this I need to mark it 4 and not 5 stars.

Used to be good, very unreliable. This is the first review of any product for me ever but I have to because I have been with invoice to go for over 5 years and this year will be my last. The price has gone through the roof and the service through the floor, I’m constantly having to ask my clients if they have received my invoice only to find out that it has never sent. I have recently been cc in my other email and sure enough every other week the emails don’t send, you have to update, turn your phone on and off etc, very poor and unsatisfied now.

Update has made this app slow & unusable. I’ve been using this app for 1 year now, amazing until recent major update. The app is slow in sending the receipt of the email to the customer( which looks unprofessional on my part) I cannot edit the invoice to show part payments as I used to be able to do in the old app version. Something really needs to be done, Im due to renew my plan in 12 days and I’m seriously rethinking paying $220 to use a substandard version of what was once a good app. Disappointing too that I have to pay more, previous charge was $80, now $220 , if the app was working like before I would happily pay it. Someone at Invoice2go must fix the bugs & usability issues otherwise won’t be very long until we jump ship.

Looking for alternatives. Been a loyal user since 2009. Getting tired of the continuous updates that change the platform and start the learning curve over. Recently I was locked out of ALL my invoices until I completed the update. AND now they change the terms of service...read them carefully.

I started with Invoice 2 go and it was great then it went to $99 then to $499 I refused to pay that when there is a totally free and in my opinion better product out there it’s called wave and available at waveapps.com also invoice2go lost all my invoices after I chose to discontinue use how inconvenient/unprofessional is that !

Great invoicing and tracking of clients. This program does it all and is easy to use! The ease of tracking taxes, Qrt reports, unpaid invoices, and client % of gross makes it a one stop tool ! Wouldn’t be able to run my business without it. !

Credit card payments. I've been using invoice to go for several years with no issue, until now. We just started accepting credit card payments through invoice 2 gos offering of stripe. Which they should be responsible for since they accept it as a company. I had a client pay 18000 via credit card and now his money is floating around some where and not even showing up on stripe as a payment , it's been over 2 weeks. Invoice 2 go has not been helpful whatsoever blaming everything on stripe. Stripe has been more than helpful and is saying invoice to go has missed a step. Two reps have said the same thing. We asked for a refund and they said it was up to stripe to refund the money. The money that stripe haven't received. Been with invoice to go for 8 years and looking for a new option. They aren't interested in helping my situation whatsoever and told me to deal with it on my own.

The number one business app. The accounting software for small business.

$50 per month is greedy. There are apps as good as this and range from free to $3.99/mo or $19.99/year unlimited invoices. … for what it’s worth… a company who expects $50 per month is exactly what the small business owner needs to fight against. They don’t respect you or the time and effort it takes for you to earn a dollar. Deleting the app now. Check out the others. TurboTax is also a great option for an app. It even feeds your income and taxes into income statements and tax forms. Now that’s with $50.

Garbage. It’s pure garbage

Invoices not sent. Having big issues with the app saying the invoices are sent by e-mail but none of the clients receive them !

Invoice to go. Like the interface of this app and how easy it is to use. I am able to keep track of all my invoices and tax time is a breeze. However, since I already pay a premium for this service I completely resent this app trying to charge me more money just to add more customers. I ALREADY PAY FOR THIS APP.

Good but could be better. Everything is great and for what you get the cost is ok. I have been using this app since it was a free app. There was a update and then I got asked to sign in after never signing in for over a yr.because ai just remain signed in cause it’s easy. no surprise I couldn’t remember my password. Not a huge deal but a pain when your in a hurry. Help line is great when I have had to use it.

Invoice 2go. Invoice to go is an absolute gem. It makes my job so much easier sending invoices sending estimates scheduling jobs. It’s all there at the touch your fingertip.

Worst invoicing app. This app will not work half the time, the reason? None! It just simply doesn’t work! It will ask you to “log in” but it won’t be able to!!! It’s so great to stand in front of a customer and not be able to pull up a quote!!!

App Scams You. Had this App for a few years. Worked well while I was using it for my business. Closed my business and the company kept charging my credit card even though I cancelled my subscription. Very irritating and time consuming to chase them around re-canceling ever 6-12 months while they still took my money each time with their no refund policy. Would never get it again just to save the headache and financial loss.

Waste of time. This app is stupid , I wanted something simple not something asking my social insurance number . Thanks for nothing

Timesheets. Would be nice to add times manually for timesheets. iInstead you can only start a timer.

Great app. Very easy to use can fill out right at the job site makes it so easy to get everything on the job on your invoice so you do forget any part or labor

Quality of app declining!!!. Invoice 2 go was a great app but since the update this stupid POS closes unexpectedly!!! Lost few jobs while working on them and there’s no way to recover them… very frustrating. The “team” has also been supposedly working for the past 7 years on a way to print unpaid invoices ONLY but apparently I’m asking for the moon…! It has it pros but an app the just decides to close on it own is unacceptable.

Brutal. I have been trying to reach an actual person for days .. every year the ding my credit card for more and more with out notice or even an invoice .. go figure they are an invoicing company. After the pandemic my invoicing has reduced to a level where if I use this app it will cost me 22.50 per invoice to send ? Is this realistic … yet to discuss this with them is impossible. Not helpful

Serious issues with customer support and holding funds. I had a few small invoices made out paid. No problem. I get an invoice for a little over $6k paid by a customer. And Invoice2go is currently holding my funds. They have the worst customer support I have ever seen. I met took forever to get ahold of a person. Than when I did they were no help I could hardly understand them (in the Philippines) They offered no help. No other contact numbers for anyone to help resolve my issue. They required I send them documents to prove I own my business. I have sent all requested documentation. 4 days later still can’t get a hold of anyone. It is impossible to speak with any type of representative. I highly recommend you do not risk your money with this app. I still haven’t been able to resolve my issue. And they won’t release my $6,500

Easy app and amazingly fast customer service. I have been using this app for two years and never had a problem with it. When I made a payment to an old account error AND couldn’t see my newer account when I switched to using a newer IPad, the live chat service was available immediately and fix my errors within 15 minutes! If I have any questions about anything I know Invoice2go will take care of me so that i can continue producing invoices for my small business! Great easy App and fabulous customer service!

Good app. Ive been using this app for a few years now. Yes, there are glitches. Find me an app that doesn't have glitches though. Overall I'm happy. Im writing this review to address two concerns. 1) on the main invoice page, i wish i could see what has been paid on an invoice vs what is still owed. I don't like have to run reports for that. In fact, thats the only reason i run reports. 2) every so often an email misfires, meaning the app doesn't send the email. Rather the client doesn't receive it. Ill give a five star review if you change the issue of seeing paid vs owed on the main invoice page.

They STEAL your money!!! DO NOT USE. I was excited to finally find an invoicing app that had everything I was looking for. I signed up and got everything set up to take online payments and started sending invoices. My clients paid and everything but I never received a payout. A few days later I go to create another invoice and my account was shut down. I was told I had to send pictures of my id and passport and that it was the “onboarding process”. I was also told that all of the invoices were canceled and any payments made refunded to my clients. They haven’t received refunds so now I’m out money. If sending those documents are part of onboarding, you shouldn’t be able to send invoices until all of that is done. My client relationships have been damaged and my money is also gone. Absolutely do not use this company.

Always needing to upgrade and app crashes frequently. Every year close to renewal- it’s the same. A month or so before I renew the app says I’m past my invoice limit. I always pay for unlimited invoices but somehow between renewals- the app always says I need to upgrade. It’s just a way to make me pay more money and it’s not worth it. Like other users, this app is getting worse. In the middle of making an invoice and the app crashes- not saving any work. And I am constantly having to delete and reinstall app. And the when I login- it’s always the same…. Incorrect password. NO IT IS NOT!! It’s just the app is slowly getting worse and I don’t have time to send a message to support. And they purposefully don’t have a support number. It just has to be via chat or email and their help is NOT fast enough and they are not helpful at all.

Long time user screwed. I use a lot of old invoices to generate new ones or to reference a price. Old platform I could, say, "search" for a 4x8 banner in the search function. It would then pull up all 4x8 banners that I sold and to which customer and at certain price. NOW search is for only a customers name. Which is the dumbest thing, as I could just got to contacts to see the customer. But I have to open every single invoice to see what was sold to them. Why would you do that? Update: I have since moved to QB. Doing so has been nice but there are times when I need to reference an invoice from this app. The data is on lock down. Can not access receipts or invoices unless I pay for a new subscription. BOOOO. If your running a growing company consider a different invoice app. I was an original app purchaser and the problems this app cause after major update affected business. Buyer beware and read reviews.

Not very good. I really enjoyed how easy it was to use this app for billing. I start off with the free version of it and eventually moved on to the next step up. Up until recently I started going through some of my clients and turns out I owe them money! Not sure why since every time I get paid, I simply mark the bill as “paid”. I don’t know why this would happen. Second for my kind of business I don’t have very many clients, but generally I generate quite a bit of statements. Now since my subscription is up for renewal. Can get my old package anymore and the one that works for me cost way more than what I paid for my old one. In summary, I think I’m calling it quits with invoice to go.

The right price 4 what i need. I have been using/ testing out Invoice2go and paying the minimum subscription because I am sole proprietor Handyman business. I dont need ALL the extra features and if i do, they are available I used a few different invoicing apps and i like the low price of $5.99 per month, the limited features are all i need for my small business other apps want over $10 for unlimited use and more for full the professional experience . No thanks I appreciate offering just enough for me to keep my costs down and keep my customers happy with professional estimates and invoices when necessary

Used it for years. I have used invoice 2go for years (even through their update hiccup) they listened to all our concerns and fixed all we didn’t like, even make logos bigger. I had issues with not being able to print out old invoices when I had to make a new account and it wanted me to pay for a new subscription. They fixed that too and made it to where I didn’t have to pay for a subscription. Although you still have to pay more the second time than the first time (like most places) and sometimes My Invoices do not send I can’t really say if it is the app,or my email... over all I recommend it

Racist. This company took my money for the subscription and then canceled my account and didn’t refund subscription payment. This company also approved my account for bank payments then canceled my account bc I didn’t submit my identification in time to them as a small black owned business WHO’s busy and didn’t have time to see the email with the 3 day notice. They never reply to chat and email escalation. I don’t recommend using them for anything dealing with your business. I’m locked out of my account and can’t access unpaid invoices and invoice history now I have to spend a busy weekend sorting through rate cons to see which invoice has and has not been paid all bc they denied me access to my account after seeing my black person ID. Here’s a clue… Black ppl get money too so why are we being denied access to invoice our clients on YOUR PLATFORM??

AWFUL TO USE. My title is somewhat misleading g si ve I did t even get the chance to see how it works. I downloaded the app, filled it out and then wanted to see what the an invoice would look like, so I used their “Send yourself an invoice” feature. Well, I tried and I keep getting a pop up page telling me I need to sign up. I’m not paying $9.99 to see if this app fills my needs. There is no way to close this pop up, so now I can’t even delete my account. This is super predatory. I should have read the rest of reviews. Someone was complaining about an issue and not being able to communicate with them via phone, only email, unless you have an unlimited account and the response was them asking them to send an email. I’m deleting this super predatory app and.

DO NOT USE INVOICE2GO!!!! ZERO STARS. I have been using them for about 3 years and decided to apply to accept credit card payments. Website states 3 easy steps, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. I went through the process , back and forth and was finally approved. Took my first payment, and the account was flagged. Needed to supply them with about 30 more documents after it was already approved. I submitted everything they requested, the next email I received was they de-activated my account , no explanation, no acccess , nothing ! They declined my customers payment and now I have no access to the app at all. No access to all my past estimates, invoices and customer information. This is the most unethical, unprofessional thing I've ever dealt with. DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!!!!!!!!

Flawless App for invoicing but I have suggestions to improve. I have been using this app for over 5 years and for ease of use, invoicing and maintaining a customer database it is flawless. However, I have a wish list and suggestions that would truly make this better for my service business. I would like to communicate my needs with the developer because I also need to track maintenance agreements and scheduling and related billing/ merchant account options. I have to say I have had a great time using this app and wish to see more!

Needs an option for a flat price. So I like they it has invoices and estimates however I don't like that it has to be in rates per hour. It didn't take into account business that do jobs on a bid basis where it's a flat rate not hiding according to time per hour. That's why I took a star away. Also I need you to be able to format the page different when I'm typing up a bid I want to itemize each part of the project but there's not a way to do that and make it look good. Thank you. Maybe it's me.. I'll play with it more. I'm sure I'm not using it right.

Absolute Garbage. What the heck were you thinking Invoice2go?. ZERO STARS. Only gets 1 because I have to select something to post this. I've never written an app review before, but felt compelled to do so after "upgrading" to the new Invoice2go app in June and having nothing but problems since. What an absolute piece of 💩. There were some duplication/sync issues with the previous app, but nothing that was not easily rectified. I've used Invoice2go since 2010. There is NOT A SINGLE THING I LIKE about this app or the incompetent support. I’ve complained for 2 months about invoices taking really long to load - like more than 90 seconds prior to updating to iOS 11 (what Invoice2go will tell you this app was designed for). The company has done NOTHING. They must have the most incompetent software engineers on the planet. One of them actually insisted that a MacBook Pro operates on iOS. I can't get rid of this quickly enough.

What happened!?!. I’ve used this app for my business for many years. No other app could come close to its ease and function. However, within the last few months the developer has been tweaking and updating this app in response to what their users are asking them for. Unfortunately these updates have totally ruined this app. I’ve had issues with invoices blanking out and disappearing altogether. A function that was once simple to do now that ales many steps to accomplish. I understand improvements bring bugs and growing pains. But, I have given this app a couple of months to fix its glitches and now I must move on.

After 3 years, I’m switching apps. Do I really need to pay MORE money just to see invoices that I’ve already made? It’s also dumb that you don’t get more available clients each year you resign up, the first year you get 50, the second year you pay just to keep the 50 from the first year making the second years payment worth less in a way. I would pay to upgrade but I worry that when I upgrade I still will have to pay more to use features I need for my business. I’m frustrated i can’t see invoices and estimates that I already made, I’ll be switching to a different service that has a simple flat rate and I can access everything

Used to be better. I own a small service business and have been using this app for 2 years. The upgrades have made everything more and more cloud based so when I’m in the field in an area with little to no data stream I can’t access my invoices or estimates. It’s frustrating and since I paid more money for a phone with 128gb of storage I’d like the option to store the invoice data on my phone. I wouldn’t mind cloud syncing at the end of the day but everything on the cloud makes this product less valuable to me. But yet the annual prices keep going up, may need to find a more simple alternative because it isn’t worth $250/yr.

it’s time to say GOODBYE to invoices2go FOREVER. I’ve been with invoices2go for over 4 years now and they just keep getting worse and worse. They continue to not only go up on their prices but they also continue to change the platform and make so inconvenient it’s not worth staying. There are so many more better invoicing apps out there. The other Red Flag is if you google how to contact Customer Support for invoices2go phone number and then call that number given on google it will say this number is no longer in service. Shady, shady, shady BUYER BEWARE

Just what I was looking for. Started a business in January to soon realize it was a 24/7 task! Work all day just to come home and type invoices and estimates all night. Invoices2go gives me the ability to quickly and easily do invoices and estimates from my phone on the spot. That makes my customers happier, my family happier and it gives me a sense of relief. Only thing I don’t like is I can’t figure out a way to add a shipping/physical address to saved clients. (I work for realtors and the billing no address s always the same but the house address changes)

Continues to get worse. I’ve been using this software for several years. Unfortunately the developers and management continue to get worse. This software forces you to update each month to maintain a view of any invoices that are older than 3-4 months. The biggest problems have come recently due to greed. I was forced to use their newly created credit card processing. This is the worst processor I have ever seen. They had Stripe which was a very good processor. Now that users were forced to transition they accept fewer credit cards, they don’t allow users to bill credit cards manually and they don’t allow credit card refunds. I could add the mountain of little problems but rather the. Do that I’d just suggest using a different software.

Best App For Small Business. I realize this is only one person’s input, but I have been using this app for my home improvement business for a couple years now, and I have tried others, but this is definitely my favorite app to run my business on. Whether the job is big or small, this is the easiest way to do estimates and invoices on the job, or at home, on my iPhone, iPad, or laptop, there is no easier way. I’ve never had any glitches or problems as long as I have used it. I have the least expensive package, and I’ve never had a need to upgrade to a better package. Thanks for a great app Invoice2go!!!

Garbage app. My husband uses this app (with an account and paid services) for his plumbing business. I often help him with invoicing, and I honestly hate this service and the app. It will randomly, out of nowhere, log you out in the middle of writing this huge, long detailed estimate or invoice, leaving you no choice but to start over. There are times I go to log in and I get the error message that my email or password is incorrect, which of course it is not, considering it’s saved on my computer and phone. Sometimes it’ll take several times to log back in. Often I’ll look up an invoice and find it, but when I try to click on it to open, the stupid thing will freeze and I’ll have to close the app and open it again. Overall it is just a huge pain and I wish my husband would try something else!

Gouging my wallet, and my clients. This has to be the biggest scam I’ve seen in years when it comes to a paid service. First off, the updates sneakily default your setting, such as auto-renew (I turned it off before), and included a hyperlink in the invoice for the client to make payment with Invoice2Go’s own credit service that benefits THEM but buries my reputation as a shady service provider to my clients. I’m done with this app and their so-called premium invoicing services. Unbelievable. Side Note: Before Covid, I paid a one-time $10 fee for basic invoicing services, which includes a limited number of invoices per month. I should have been grandfathered into any future transitions to a subscriptions - as was the case here - but nope, I’m prompted to subscribe for a monthly fee and my previous status has been eliminated.

Room for improvement.. I had the iPhone app version for a couple years and loved it. Was forced to upgrade to the cloud version when they discontinued the app version. I lost a fair amount of data, mainly dates and paid invoice information. Im not nearly as happy with this version. Its frustrating to use. If you switch away from the app to use a calculator or answer a phone or text you lose any data typed and have to reopen the invoice or estimate. I would happily pay what I paid for this version to get my old one back. Additionally it gets more and more expensive every year. At one point I paid for the version to have recurring invoices and scheduling which I never could get to work. Now to have recurring invoices it’s an additional $399. On top of the $150 I paid per year.

Not a good company. I had Invoice2go for over 4 years. We had a few problems over the years but nothing major. Until we decided to leave their service and go with profitrhino which is another company. We had thousands of invoices and they refused to give us an option to download or transfer them. Basically they held them hostage. They did allow us to download our customer data, but they mismatched all of the data lines. So we had to print 3500 invoices one by one. And had to reenter every single customer. They said they do not offer any bulk printing. It was a huge hassle. If you start with this company then you better plan on staying with them for your entire life or for the existence of your company. Now I do not have access to any old invoices unless I pay them $150 per year or look in my file cabinet and dig one out. Customer service is nonexistent also. They don’t even publish a phone number.

Honest Review by Contractor. I love the program it’s a real game changer, however it lacks in a few areas. First it only provided estimates and invoices, no contracts to my knowledge. You can not set payment arrangements other than a deposit. Then there is the CC processing fees. They are high relative to what they should be, another words they aren’t doing you any favors. Other than that, the platform is really good. The ease of use and the convenience make the expense worth it especially if your a really busy contractor. Being able to access data on any of your devices is a huge+. Definitely a must have if your serious about your business.

Case Of Fixing What Isn’t Broken. I used to love this app as it provided nearly everything I need and most importantly was EASY to use. The first several years I used it, it felt like there were very few updates. Now it feels like there’s a weekly update. And every time there’s an update, its like I now have to relearn how to use it, and it looks a little different, and a feature has been moved or worse, removed. If anything the app could’ve used a minor facelift, both in looks and function. Instead the developers demolished something reliable including a solid foundation and built an inferior product from scratch. I feel like I’m stuck with it now since all my records are with I2G. I’m very disenfranchised with this app and company.

Love hate relationship. Update again. Now I have to reinstall every month. What a pain in the neck. Customer service can’t help. Update, they no longer have phone support. Also, I can’t get the system to email me reports. This service just keeps getting less reliable. Old review I have a love hate relationship with this app. It is very convenient to have your business in the palm of your hand. I use this app for two business. It’s great. Now the bad. This app is terribly unreliable. Once a month I have to delete this app and then reinstall it, to keep it accurate. If I don’t “reset the app” it will not create my reoccurring invoices. Also it will show invoices as owed, when they have already been paid. It’s terribly frustrating.

Easy to use. I have used I2G for 4 years now. I like their improvements and upgrades they have done over time. Just make sure you turn off payment notifications on the estimates. This has scared potential clients. If the estimate is approved, I then get a deposit. Money should not be asked for on an estimate. I am happy for the button to remove that option. Things are better. Update 10/21 - When the widget is set to show “Outstanding Invoices” it actually only shows Overdue invoices. What I was hoping is that would show all Unpaid Invoices, overdue or not. I rarely have overdue invoices so the widget is often empty, which feels like a waste of space. Old - A number of my old complaints have been addressed over the few years I’ve used the app. At this time I have only two feature requests: 1 - Dark mode 2 - A widget (could be used to show me reports, start a new invoice, or log a new expense)

I'VE LOST MONEY BECAUSE OF THIS APP. I've used this app for about 3 years now, its had its good moments but that has changed since the big update, enough is enough this is my last year using it. The big update just made it worse. Saved invoices have gotten deleted time and time again... the app syncing with other devices is totally off... the numbers don't add up... it's frustrating having to go back and investigate what work I did and try to not lose money. I'm switching over to a new app for 2018.

Love to have an app but it’s disappointing. I was looking for an invoice app and saw this. I was so excited because of its perfects and looks so simple to do the invoice with this app. Even it was free to download and I was looking forward to trying this app. After the download was complete and open the app to change my excitement... The ” three-month free trial” was pop up and not give me an” X” on the top of the corner for me able to take it down. I was not want to go to boost level, I just want to try the basics and see how it works. But it won't let me take the ”pop-out free trial” down at all even I still keep getting notification asked me to try those simple templates-- unfortunately it won't let me try it at all because of stupid ”pop-out free trial” don't have ”X” that I can click to shut it down 😭😭😔😔😡😡😡😡😡😡

Works when it wants to. Overall good platform, easy to use/navigate. Unfortunately for the past few months at least once a week I get logged out of my account and cannot access the app and when this happens in the middle of the work week when I have invoices that need to be paid or estimates that need to be sent in a timely manner this is infuriating to say the least. It can last from a day up to three and then magically out of nowhere I’m eventually able to log back in. Customer service is no help and they don’t seem to have an answer to fix this reoccurring issue, hopefully they do soon before we switch platforms.

Costs increase and updates worsen the product. With every update there are more and more issues to deal with. I have been using this app for many years... from the time that I paid $15 to purchase the app outright (no annual renewal commitments), to then being forced to pay annual rates just to obtain my existing estimates and invoices, to then have those annual rates regularly increase in cost all while the quality continues to get worse with each update and “improvement” that is done and made. Very disappointing and annoying. I feel like I was monopolized into having to pay to retain years of work and information that now I can’t even go back one year to access an old invoice!! Keep your wallet in your pocket and keep searching so you don’t get sucked in, is all I can say!!

Account Deleted Money held with no explanation. They Definitely don’t care about their customers. Listen the app and web browser are easy to use and pretty straight forward. I set up all my bank details and PayPal for payment processing. Received my first payment as a small business which is so important. All the sudden it was held told I needed to re-verify my identity, my bank account details and what not. I sent them all my legal documentation including my companies EIN form my IDs bank statements and what not. Their response was to close my account and give me zero explanation, wild more than $3000 sat in their possession. Unbelievable how small business can be treated like this. Will never use this software again even if it was gifted to me.

Inconvenient. Price increase. Plan changes.. Every year the packages change, prices increase and less clients to add on. After inputting hundreds of clients into this app, the plan changes to where I am given a limit to clients, rather than unlimited as in the past. So I am expected to delete previous clients one by one, in order to add any further clients. Invoices have to be deleted before I can add any others. Keep in mind, I’ve accumulated hundreds, if not thousands of invoices over the last decade of using this app. I have switched over to using a free app called bookipi which offers everything that invoice 2 go offers, for free. I’m just hoping they don’t pull a invoice 2 go and start charging and then later start increasing everything every year. Such a headache.

DO NOT Use this app it’s a scam.. Hello I’m a small business owner, who choose to use this service for my company. Unfortunately they disappointed. I had a client pay the invoice with this app and NEVER received the clients payment. The customer service rep after a lot of having me jump through hoops said the only thing to be done was to reach back out to my client and have them cancel the payment on their end. Invoice2go took the payment from the client immediately after they paid so canceling was out of the question. I reached back out to customer service again and they stopped responding and deleted our chat history. So I’m out 200$ and my hard work, used resources, and time are completely wasted.

Great App. I love the app and the simplicity of it but here’s the thing the letters in the invoice a hard to see because you can only print them in gray. There’s no way to put them in black which I think is a huge issue. Especially since this form is supposed to be customizable. Also you know that people are going to be paying for things I don’t understand why I need to pay $400 for people to get a receipt for something that they would normally get a receipt for anyway. $239 a year should be enough to get everything you need. I feel like that is taken advantage of people who just want to stay organized.

Used to be simple. I have been using this app for my business for mini many years with all the updates it used to be simple to do an estimate and invoice. In many places that I go I do not have Internet service and this app now doesn’t support off-line use. There are so many times that I write up an estimate or invoice then have to drive to get Internet to finish the work or to even get the information that I need I wish it was like it was at the beginning stored on my device so that I didn’t have to be on the Internet to use it. With every update the interface becomes more complicated and harder to find the simple things it’s not intuitive anymore.

Trying to cancel. Don't go with them. They booked me before my free 30 days was up, and trying to cancel is a joke. You download the app and try to cancel on app it tells you to cancel online. So you try to sign in online, and it goes through a process of verifying your phone number. Then it goes to wanting you to download the app. When you cancel that it hangs up and never lets you sign in, so therefore you can't ever cancel. I'm so mad at this point I've sent emails and now this. If it goes through my bank again I will fight it that's the only thing I know to do since this is a joke. And it's too expensive for what it is. Heck Excel is only 6.99 a month and a much better program. CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION I NO LONGER WANT THIS STUPID PROGRAM!!!!!

Great App. It’s not easy at first but I promise it will be. I handle over 86 clients and it makes our jobs easier. Most persons would rather pay online now a days, it makes it easier for them. Plus easier for us not having to call clients when late, or mail/e-mail late notices. Invoice Togo does it for you. Plus having an invoice at the touch of your fingers is awesome and professional. I’m not going to say it’s for “everyone”, but 97% of one’s I know that got it, still have it and are still using it. Go ahead and give it a try.

Software issues. I also hate that a review is only written when it’s time to complain but that is they place we are at. I have been using this app for almost 10 yrs now and when I am out of the field, making invoices, there are times when the invoices will not save, other times, when the payment will not save. I will mark an invoice paid and it will not reflect the payment so I will try doing it a second time then once it realizes that I have marked paid it will send the customer a email saying that I owe them money because the invoice was marked paid twice. Also, there are times after spending 10 minutes or more, making an invoice that the invoice will then disappear or will not have any client information filled out or no invoice number. This needs to be solved.

Frustrated after years of usage. I've been using this app for over three years. Today I was suddenly unable to sign-in to my account. I tried to reset the password. Still didn't work: got an "Item does not exist" red title across the top. Tried Chat Help. Their recommendation was to reinstall the app, and update the device to iOS 11. No backwards compatibility with the penultimate iOS version?! This means that if I have a device that is not updatable, all my business information is out of reach, just like that. No records for taxes, no new invoices, no income. Why do I PAY for this?! I don't like to air my frustrations in public, but the recommended way of giving feedback is INSIDE THE APP. Which I cannot get to because of the problem! Come on, app creators!

Extortion.. the practice of obtaining something, especially money, through force or.... What else can I say. I’ve used Invoice 2 go for years!! Even through their hiccups and app crashing they’ve never offered to comp me or offered an apology. Now it’s time for my renewal and I’ve got estimates out and jobs I’m currently working on who’s estimates and invoices I cannot modify??!! WHY??! Because I did not opt to choose 1 of the only 2 renewal options they offered me!! And when I asked customer service countless times for a list of plans available I get the run around. Great tactic right??! Because sooner or later I’ll have to break and choose one of the two highest priced options to be able to modify my estimates. You guys are crappy people. Thanks for nothing. Thanks for the worst customer service and putting me into a bind.

Almost perfect. I have been using this app for years. I love that it’s so mobile friendly and that money just shows up in my bank account. I don’t like that you can’t change the email/text template or erase options on the drop down of previous items you’ve put on an invoice. The biggest issue with unpaid invoices is that the emails are going to peoples junk mail. With a juvenile name like “invoice 2 go” I can’t blame people for not taking seriously. It works well for the most part but I’m always billing people for the exact same single item and there’s no way to streamline it, so I’m filling out the same things on hundreds of invoices.

SCAM Alert!. Bait and switch company. Sneaky and greedy. Will upgrade and charge you for the premium service without you knowing! Signed up for the FREE App 2 years ago. One month later they asked for $5 for a one year subscription. Fine. Sounds fair. Sent me countless spam emails asking me to upgrade to a larger plan. Never had the need or desire to. So, they billed my credit card $35 without my consent. Not once but twice! Contacted the company to complain. They told me I was automatically enrolled in auto renewal when I signed up. I never saw those terms listed anywhere at anytime. Nor was it ever brought to my attention that the renewal rate would jump from $5/ year to $35! After much correspondence back and forth with customer service, they would only credit me one of the charges and then deleted my account, so now I’ve paid $35 for an app I barely used and can longer access at all.

Used to be great. For the last month, the app has had the same ongoing issue. I creat am invoice and save it. Than I go to email and it gets stuck on loading. I than have to close the app. When I try to open the app it crashes and closes over and over. I than have to delete the entire app. Re download it and creat the invoice. Than the following day same crap. For someone who creates a couple hundred invoices a year, it’s getting really annoying. Support offers no help. Just says to keep deleting and reinstalling. Prior to October the app worked amazing and only had an issue like this once a month. Now every day.

Easy to use. I find invoice to go to be very easy and very simple to use. If you’re a new business starting out this is a great piece of software to use for your invoices to your receipts, we have been using Invoice2go since we started our business and are still using them six years later. They are always making improvements and really take your feedback into consideration when doing so. Really they’re just an all-around great company. Customer support is awesome to thank you guys.

Good when it works, can be frustrating.. When you can log in, the app works really well. However, if you use the app on your phone and computer, be prepared to reset you password often…and once you reset it, it does not seem to work across both devices. Have contacted support and it was suggest I delete the app and reinstall - have done that several times and still the same issue. It seems at this point that choosing app or computer is the only viable solution, unless you want to spend countless hours reinstalling, updating passwords, etc. Hopefully this gets addressed.
