Finally!. The delay issue is finally fixed! This app is awesome! The only issue I have is when you tap and hold down on a link or linked image, there is no option to open in a new tab. A trick I’ve been using is holding down until I get the prompts, then scroll up or down so I can copy the hyperlink to avoid navigating away from the page, and open a new tab to paste and go.

You MUST give a 5 Star Review to unlock the app. First, it's a browser. The app takes you to the browser. Each time I open this app, it tells me that IF I give it a 5 star review, it will unlock extra Pro version features within the app which I can use during the unspecified trial period. As such, I'm giving it a 5 star review ONLY so that I can try it out before I buy it and decide if it's worth the money. It may well be, but I simply don't know yet. Ironically, I almost bought the full version a few times, but the developer's demanding a 5 star rating BEFORE you could try the features really bothered me. If a developer has no problem doing that to muscle a 5 star review, I'm not sure I trust him enough to want his app on my phone. There's no stated privacy policy for the app. Can it access your private data? If so, what can it do with it? I have no idea if it rates a 5 star review, and I resent the developer setting it up in a way that requires a 5 star review in order to be able to try it out properly, which seems underhanded, so I'm explaining to you the reason why I gave it 5 stars. It seems good so far, but I just don't know if it's a 5 star app.

Doesn’t even work?!. This app used to work. Now it gives a white screen and no ability to use it for anything except a pseudo flashlight!! Please either update the app or delete it from the App Store. Please do not waste our time as app users.

Was the best out there. I’ve used this for about 5-6 years and it has normally been great. I originally gave it a five star back then. Now it is back to a great app after the last update to correct problems. Thank you for correcting.

Relief, I can surf again. All those ads were driving me bonkers. I can't believe how much smaller my viewing screen got with just every advertisement and even though I had removed as many pop ups as I could, there still continued to be many slipping through the Safari iOS pop up options, so I finally added this ad blocker and this was it! I had tried several but this is the best, that I could use with my iPhone 4s. I am so grateful, especially because it can now be called surfing again! What I think I have been doing for the last year was just reading news references instead of really being able to read the news since all those ads were slowing me down, I didn't enjoy waiting for ever to see the whole page or felt annoyed when I thought it was fully loaded and the page would do the bait and switch. All I wanted to do was read or research the news and that became next to impossible or wait time or reloading was taking more time than reading the article itself. I hated all the raunchy ads and was so tired of having good articles from around the world being covered up by raunchy non stories. It's actually safer for my kids to use as well. Thanks! Not working anymore. I don’t know why it isn’t working anymore. It used to work great. Now, when I try, for instance, to read a recipe online, I’m inundated with stupid ads. By the way, I do NOT “click” on ANY of these intrusive ads! Ad block—what happened? You’re no longer worthy of the name! “Fail to block” works now!

Waste of space and money. This was not worth spending on. Sure it was nice being able to block a lot of ads, but it would've been better if it wasn't in the form of a separate browser and worked in other browser/apps. This browser is worse than Safari that it doesn't stay on the last page you were browsing after reopening or using after inactivity (nor does it even offer an option to toggle that) and the developer doesn't make any improvements on that or other things in general to improve the efficiency of using it. Even other browsers with lesser ad block options is much better than this. Also it did not notify me that I could get premium by just writing a 5 star review other than on the apple store website (not on the store app). But after trying it out, I wouldn't have given it a 5 star regardless if I had known how poorly designed this app was. Oh also premium doesn't give you whole lot more options other than being able to block more ads and other small options that are almost neglectable/insignificant. Payers beware.

Video detect feature is broken. The video detect feature does not work in the new version. You can’t cast to chromecast now

Needs improvement but helps.. I am noticing that this app seems to block advertisements successfully by forcing apps through a VPN is sets up on my phone. This causes a lot of issues with certain applications. I do t know if it is possible but it would be nice if it were possible to select the applications that you want in the VPN. For instance, Google sometimes tells me it has no internet connection with full service. I definitely don't want to have to hit the "try again" button a hundred times before the VPN wakes up and realizes what I am trying to do. Unfortunately for ad blocker, smart phones need to be fast and the VPN slows things way down. Perhaps my assessment on how the application works is wrong, but I never had these problems before I installed Ad Blocker. I have also noticed that when I attempt to stream things through the browser, that it crashes pretty consistently. I go to a site for TV shows and everything I attempt to load crashes the app. I'm certain this application will get better with time, because it's essential on my computers and I have faith in the developers for that reason alone. Worth the price, but it doesn't block everything.

Pretty good app. Nice alternative to Safari, but kinda slow on the iPad 2. Latest version - all sorts of ads are getting through now even with the paid version

Well it blocks ads.... Well it does in fact block ads, the rest of it I have found to be poorly designed. It's nearly impossible to copy/paste in this program, especially links. Which wouldn't be as big of an issue if the "open link in new tab" option worked. It doesn't. Every time I attempt to use it it just opens a new tab to the home page but never actually opens the link I want. Speaking of the home page, there is no actual "blank home page" option, the closest you can get is their page, which I usually have to wait for it to load fully before I can even use the tab I just opened. I got this app because some of my favorite websites are ad heavy, practically to the point where they're unusable. With this app I don't have to deal with the annoying adds, but I still can barely do what I want. I'm starting to feel like just dealing with the ads.

Fantastic App. One Issue Recently.. I have no big complaints. This browser does everything I bought it for, and I've recommended it to others for use in otherwise ad-littered discussion forums. I consider it to have been worth my money. The one thing that's bugged me recently may not even be an app-specific problem. It may be an iOS issue (though I'm not sure). But lately, after a recent update, the app zooms in on typing/text fields so that the full width of the field no longer fits on screen. It *is* helpful as far as making small text larger. But I didn't really want that... and I'd rather be able to see what I'm writing. So if that's a app-specific change - I'd rather have it changed back. Good app even so. I hate ads.

Good so far. Space Popsicle: You are not very bright are you...No, it does not block ads in the Safari app, or Chrome app, or...FACEBOOK app!? This is a standalone app, it is a web browser and only a web browser. It does not (CANNOT) run inside of other apps...They very clearly state all of this in the description. Just because you ignorantly assumed it was the exact same product you downloaded on your PC, and didn't bother to take a second to read the description that was LITERALLY right in front of you, doesn't mean this app deserves 1 star. I'm so sick of unintelligent people (like you) feeling entitled to everything. It is your own fault if you cannot read, so please do not ruin the entire App Store App rating system for the rest of us...rather...learn to read. It definitely gets rid of some of the clutter that inherently infests websites these days, speeding it up a bit. Like it so far, worth installing and trying out for a week or so.

Continues to improve. I debated giving 4 stars or 5, and settled on 5 because the developer really seems to be dedicated to making this a good product. When I first bought it a couple years ago it was having enough issues that I quit using it. I tried it again about six months ago and it was working a lot better. Then, an IOS upgrade caused it to quit blocking any ads but to the developer's credit, he had it working properly again within a week or so. I know this has to be a constant game of leapfrog with web ad technology always trying to get around ad blockers, and this developer is doing a good job of keeping up with the game . That takes a lot of effort, and in my mind deserves the fifth star.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS!!!!!. The very minute I opened the app, it brought me to a weird website say that “I’m being hacked” or a “virus is attacking my iPhone”. Delete!

Soooo much better. The app just crashed, but I realized, "Hey! That hasn't happened in quite a while." This update's GREAT, after the previous disaster. I tried a couple of other ad blocking browsers during that dark time, but I kept coming back to Adblockforios. I still wish the browser had some features found on others (Find text on page, View page source), and it ignores the HTML target="_blank" on links (grrr!). It doesn't display the images or videos in tweets embedded in articles (no matter how many times I report it), but Adblockforios is STILL indispensable for those who know how insidious low-quality, brain-rotting advertising is. Five stars for invaluable harm reduction—minus one for a few missing features. When I use other browsers for other features, I'm quickly reminded how relentlessly we're spammed with a cancerous, crass, page bloat of junk. It's an imperfect vaccine, but the web would be dead to me without Adblockforios. Until advertising improves in taste, quality, relevance, and (especially) truth, I block it, and Adblockforios does that.

Freezing. As of the last few days this app freezing on a blank page. This is happening on both my iPad 5 and iPhone 7. The only way to get out of it is to delete and reinstall the app. It is happening so frequently there is no point reinstalling.

Fix bookmark mess please. This is my third attempt to leave a review, for an app that USED TO BE great. Each time, I have written a detailed review - only to find out at "send" that the nickname I've chosen is unavailable. When I click "ok" to the message stating that, there is no option to choose another nickname. The entire review disappears, and must be re-typed. So this time, a short review: please fix the bookmarks. Why can't I simply delete a bookmark now? I figured out a clunky work-around; but it's just one way that bookmarks now require more clicks for less functionality. Also, why does bookmarking a page result in a bookmark for the SEARCH RESULTS LIST for the page, not the page itself?if you can fix the bookmark mess, I will gladly give a 5-star review.

No longer effective. Updating my review to say that the browser has become much less effective at blocking ads. I don’t know if the advertisers’ technology has outpaced the developer’s ability to deal with it or if the app has been orphaned, but at this point I expect that there are better options out there. Previous review: Doesn't catch all ads, and there was an especially bad week or two recently, but the most recent upgrades have corrected that and added functionality to swipe forward and backward as you surf.

Even for free it’s not worth it.. I’ve blocked over 2 millions ads with this program over the years but after this last update its hit or miss with websites. It locks up, links don’t work, ads get through and it loads slow. I have a iPad Pro with the most updated iOS. Please fix............

I HATE ECOSIA. This is very annoying. Update has ECOSIA popping up constantly and app is not working as promised. 😠😠😠😠😠

The browser is broke. I start the browser by tapping on it. It starts and freezes. I can do nothing: I can’t search, I can’t see my bookmarks, and I can’t get it to unfreeze. After a few seconds, it just closes by itself. Any clues, Mr. Developer???

No longer works. App has not kept up with technology and creator doesn’t respond to requests to update. Don’t waste your money.

Once great, now useless. This app used to block ads for watching videos etc. now it now only fails to block the ads on the screen, but is also plagued by redirect ads making the app useless. Bugs have been reported but the developer seems to have stopped support for his product which I paid for. Save your time and go with something free which will provide better results. App uninstalled!

Please update the app.. Was working fine until the iOS 15 update was released, now the Adblock app seems to no longer work. It crashes instantly.

In a word. Yuck!

Useful, but needs updates. First of all, those that say Safari is better, I agree. But IOS doesn't allow you to download any plugins or anything for Safari on your phone/device, so you can't get Adblock unless it's a whole different browser. This app does its job. It does block ads, whether it's a banner, pop-up, redirect page, etc. The site I go on a lot keeps redirecting to a different website about women's health, which is very annoying and makes browsing the site very hard, especially whenever I go to a new webpage on that site. Now, I don't have anymore problems with that so far. However, this needs some updating. It doesn't look good. To me, graphics and the general layout of a browser are very important. This browser lacks those things. Also, it doesn't have many other things that Safari has. This makes sense because the sole purpose of this browser is to block ads, but it would be nice if they added more things to it to make it even better.

What is this Ecosia?. Why are all my searches on Ecosia now? I didn’t set that up. More pop ups are getting through...

I like this app. It s very good!

Not perfect, but still very helpful. This has been my main browser for the past five years. Recently, some sites seem to have found a way to get ads through. I hope they continue developing the app and block the new generation of ads. Some sites' functionality sometimes breaks down, very few though. I use this mostly for news browsing and it does a good job.

It works!!!. People who are giving this bad reviews are idiots who don’t know how to read. I see so many complaints about ads still showing up on your games, etc... People, the app specifically states it blocks ads in SAFARI!!! This just goes to show how important it is to take reviews with a grain of salt. Personally, I couldn’t be happier with it. Works exactly as described.

They are stilling people’s money. Do not get this app they have people in this organization that run a scam they get your credit care info and charge thins on it. They also say they need to give you a refund before you know it the refund is a way to get into your banking account and the empty most of your savings out before you realize it. Stay away from this app and if Allen talks to you hang up he is running the scam with the help of others. AVOID THIS APP.

I wanted something reliable. And that’s what I got with this adblocker for awhile but it just stopped being helpful. Finally gave up and stopped using it.

Unusable. This ad completely locks up now.

App Disappeared!. Vanished from iPad and iPhone desktop after iOS upgrades. Fuhgeddaboudit, pay for a genuine app.

Add Blocker.. This AddBlocker Actually works no adds but it does tend to block some other things probably because there is an add in the content. I would say that the blocker works,but isn’t a shame that we should need a blocker.

Thank you for making a difference in my life. Please read review in its entirety. This is the absolute best fitness app on the App Store. No other app has been able to keep me motivated on the treadmill for this long day in and day out. If it were not for your app I don't know how I would have had the attention span for staying on the treadmill for hours and hours a week. I lost 45 lbs in 7 months. Benjamin you have given me the ability to watch any show or movie on my phone without ads, redirections, pop ups, or any interruptions. I gladly gave my money for the paid version and this is my favorite app by far. Thank you for your hard work and for making a difference in my life.

Blaming competition is an EXCUSE. ALMOST FEELS LIKE BAIT AND SWITCH! I’ve had this for a long time and had been using it incorrectly, but when I tried to use my fully functioning free version (not the time based v.) I was met only with multiple messages that, (ONE) basically disabled my once functioning version, with a forced “download” button. And (TWO) The app’s message was also requiring a $FIVE BUCK purchase to use it! Ridiculous, and after reading reviews for the previous version (one I have) said it works, but not efficiently. THE BIG COUP DE JOUR The thing that really bugged me!?!? The developers seemingly excuse to jack you a steep purchase price for not even that great of improvements. In one of the message that comes up in the app - he’s claiming some company, "Eyeo gmgh” (??) has some kind of trademark on the words “ad blocker” (not necessarily in that order) I found those words still in use for mobile and desktop apps, and doesn’t look like he’s changed his app’s name?! THERE IS GOOD TO BE FOUND - just not in this app. Looking into this - I found SO many other ad blockers out there that appear to do more, do it better and cost less! Apple is even helping developers with ad blockers and the new iOS 9 is supposed to help block ads through your own settings - for FREE! THIS SOUNDS MORE LIKE A SIMPLE CASE OF - MARKET COMPETITION. ….and this deep pocket change is just not worth it.

Slow to load. Now takes over 30secs. I originally was very pleased had rated 5 stars. But recently the load time changed from around 3 seconds to over 30 seconds very frustrating. I cleared out everything and it still loads slow. I’m looking for a new adBlocker now.

Great app!. I love this app over all others. It blocks more ads than the other ones that I’ve tried. The airplay feature is awesome when it detects an embedded video. Thank you!

TOTALLY USELESS!. There absolutely no app support. The app does not function as it is advertised. First the app would not cast to chrome cast at all, then after months and months it started to work. Now there is No chromecast feature at all anymore. Emailed, messaged etc. no response. Hello when people pay for something they expect it to work!

UPDATE: "Improvements" in new version ruined it. The GUI in the new version is big and clunky. They added big icons to the top so now 25% of the screen isn't content rather GUI items. I really don't like the big icons and thick headers because I want to see content. The new version now takes three clicks to get to a bookmark where the old version took ONE! What were they thinking on that one? A 300% decrease in performance to get to a bookmark? Doesn't make sense. They also added immediate lookups when staring up the App. I have "about:blank" as my home page. Where it used to just open quickly it now googles "about:blank" and idiotically presents the results of my search. I wish they realized that PAYING customers shouldn't be forced to accept what they feel is best. Did they just implement these changes and not get any feedback? Not happy at all. 22-Oct-2015 - UPDATE. Since I wrote that review ~11 months ago, Ben and team have DRAMATICALLY changed the App and I've changed my 1 star to 4 stars. The app works great and I trust it very much. My kids actually prefer using my phone over their mother's because she doesn't have Adblock. They ask why pages take so long to load on her phone and mine is so much faster. I gave 4 stars, not 5 because it is just getting big. It has a 1GB footprint and if you have a 16 GB phone, it really takes up a good chunk of space. If you have a 32 GB phone, nothing to worry about. I wish they'd bring back about:blank still, too.

Previous version. I find the app really useful however I dislike how the open in new tab feature is gone. Please bring that back for the next update.

It blocks some adds not all. Just downloaded this app. Free version has a very limited use, so can't decide if it's any good. It doesn't have a good user interface. Home page button is in the wrong place. It shouldn't be next to back button. App keeps asking me to upgrade all the time. Give us some time to try it, then I decide if I want to upgrade. It already started to annoy me.

Best Adblock Ever !!. This app does exactly what it says doesn't miss a beat, doesn't make false promises and never crashes! All apps should be judged by this standard.

Try before you buy. It was on sale a week ago, but none of the links worked for me. They just kept bringing me back to the same screen which advised me that it was on sale. Now they want me to try before I buy. I wonder.

It Works!. This app does exactly what it says it does, it blocks ads. Anything else it says it will do is a bonus. Want no ads when you browse? Buy this app.

No complaints whatsoever. It does everything the creator says it will do. And the chrome cast support is outstanding. Will continue to support this app.

Gets rid of irritating ads. The more I use it the more I like it. The space on my iPod touch is to valuable to waste on ads. The developer is very responsive and I can only see this product getting even better.

The ORIGINAL and BEST Adblocker.. This is the original and best AdBlocker that I've been using for over a year now. BEWARE phony competitors who are capitalising on this trusted app name. Any glitches or ads that escape the blocker are typically fixed within a day or so if you report them. Recommended.

Just what I need. Stupid ads were driving me crazy. Don't have to worry about that anymore!

Blocks more than ads. No sooner had I downloaded this app than weird stuff started happening on my iPad: couldn't get or send mail, couldn't get apps I'd bought that were on the Cloud, couldn't even access the App Store properly.... It was only after I deleted this app that everything sorted itself out. Not the app's fault? Just a coincidence? I don't think so.

Good so far. A newspaper website I used daily has been crashing regularly lately. I suspected that it was caused by all the ad links. After using this app, I have yet faced the same problem.

How many hoops do I have to jump through to trial this app?. So the lite version is not exactly integrated well with other apps using safari.... I'm only writing this review to see how the full version performs before I consider buying the app

AdBlocker for Chromecast. I cannot understand the positive reviews shown here, as my experience has been completely the opposite! Tried the free version first, but when that wouldn't project from iPad to the TV set via Chromecast, I paid for and installed the 'Pro' version, thinking that this might offer better functionality. Whilst both versions will initiate the 'AdBlocker' background picture on the TV set after the 'cast' function is triggered (complete with moving red stripes across the bottom) this is as far as anything goes, i.e. the program you wish to view does NOT appear on the TV screen. Another shortcoming is that there doesn't seem to be any way of bookmarking a program, the way there should be and is with other browsers. I have of course deleted and re-installed he app, but with identical result. Have (twice!) reported the problems to the supplier without the slightest response after weeks of waiting, and also reported the failure to Apple (who are supposed to respond within a week or so) but have received neither response or even acknowledgement from there either. At first, I couldn't decide whether 'AdBlocker for Chromecast' was just an amateur and inept effort, or whether the thing is just a straight scam. I now believe it's the latter. Earnestly suggest you don't waste your money on this one! I use the 'TV Cast for Chrome' browser instead, which works quite well.

Brilliant. Once I worked out how to use it, I have found it so easy to use and love that I can watch videos on the internet without annoying ads!

Great! Really speeds up browsing.. The speed up is amazing when you get rid of all the ads. Obviously the speed up depends upon the page, but for many of the pages I use it is very noticeable. The speed up is particularly nice when browsing on 3G as opposed to WiFi.

Stops popups, ads, page redirects. Nuff said. Brilliant for surfing sites that have popups and page redirects. Stops them all, allowing you to just view the site.

Time saver. The amount of time I had been wasting being sent to other sites/pages and those horrible pop up ads that drive us all crazy, now I can move more freely around the Internet it's great. If you want to save time check it out I'm sure you will like it as much as I do.

A Curate's egg. Half good, half bad. It certainly blocks ads well. It requires you to use its browser, and that is slow, you cannot conveniently open a link in a new tab on the Pro version, and every time you lose it, it loses all your open tabs.

Seems to block ads well. So for this app has lived up to its promise & now prefer it over Safari. Considering Pro version.

Apple pop ups?. This has been working for me perfectly for almost a year, then when I updated my iPad yesterday, I keep getting "get a free apple app" pop ups, and I have to close the app and restart it, Please fix this, I love this app, and I paid not to have pop ups, so please fix this problem, thank you

Broken. Latest version breaks context menu functionality; holding a link usually does nothing, and when it does work there’s no “open link in new tab” option anymore, which makes the app useless for me. Using the latest iOS on an iPhone SE

Worth it. Thankfully this app has stopped webpages on my mobile directing me to apps I don't want in the App Store & to other pointless ads. Download now!

Review. This app is great for blocking most adds. Every now then I will get an add that won't be blocked but I find after a day or to will be gone and if persists you can always message the creator to see if you can get it fixed or removed

Confusing. I eventually downloaded ad blocker because videos I was trying to play said ad blocker was stopping them from playing. So I thought maybe if I get this app I can solve the problem !! Haha no such luck. I've never struck an App that could be more cluttered, more confusing and unintuitive as this one, wherever I navigated I was told I had to upgrade to pro version. I deleted it within 5 minutes

The trial version of this app worked great but that's the only good bit = 1 star rating ......... until the trial period expired and then it didn't work any more. So I paid the upgrade fee (which is 50% off every day that I have checked it) but the app doesn't update! From there it's ................nothing................. Just silence! Despite MANY emails asking for help......nothing! So I do what is usual, I delete the app and try again, which brings no results either. So from my experience this is just a scam to take your money, I've complained to apple and I'm trying to get my money back. The app does prompt you for your Apple ID. But after the trouble I encountered I quickly changed my password. If it's not a scam perhaps this review will prompt them to answer my email?

Annoying pop ups. I find this app quite good but it does itself what if says it will stop doing for you. That is, every time i open the app, i get a pop up ad to buy another one of their apps. I paid them for the full app to block ads and it displays ads itself. PLEASE CHANGE THIS !!!!

Adblock really works. I started using Adblock as I was getting frequent unsolicited porn when reading a news site. This app really works as I have not had any problems since I started using it. No more annoying ads at all. Well done. Argus, Queensland, Australia

Good, but incomplete. This browser delivers what it promises, yet it is missing some important features that other browsers have. To open a link in a new tab, import bookmarks from other browsers and maybe private browsing. These are some suggestions for the next update.

Reliable app. I use this app on my phone as my adblocker. Almost always blocks the ad, which makes me confident I won’t get any ads popping up at random. Going back and forth using the arrows at the bottom sometimes don’t work, which is ok because you can slide the screen and it will do the same thing. But a little frustrating at times. Overall, I would rate this four just because of the user interface, but I would definitely recommend this app to my family.

Waste of time to downLoad. It will nag you to upgrade to pro. You can't even open up a new tab. The other reviews must be fake/paid. I don't see how anyone can give this app 5 stars. You have been warned and encourage anyone who feels this way to post their review. Keep apps like this off iTunes. I can see why it was removed before.

Best browser-based blocker. This application features a clean GUI, ChromeCast streaming and blocking of most (if not all) advertisements. I personally would recommend to anybody looking for a good adblocker.

Ad blocker works. If you are sick of ads popping up on your screen and when they make their own pages which then have to visit quickly to remove but then when you return to whatever and they still appear so you have to repeat the same thing over and over again, well this app removes this horrible cycle. Great app, but.... I love the ad blocking and stuff, but I have 1 insy binsy issue. I honestly hate the extended keyboard, I know it sound rough but I do. Mainly because I am not European, so I am not going to be needing .fr etc ever. Please give an option to remove it.

App 'forgets' you already paid for it. Upgrade to the "Pro" version, which includes now only the ads of the creator - too many! -, then remove the app from your device.... App then conveniently forgets that you'd already paid for it and that had reinstalled it from the cloud. Now if only I could get my money back...

Cant seem to switch it off.. Adblocker seems to be bypassing some IOS controls. There is always an Adblocker bar at the bottom of the screen and I cannot close the browser by minimizing and flicking it off the screen. This is the only app that stays minimized ( as a bottom bar) at all times. This worries me

Seems to work pretty good. I haven't updated because of the comments but the version I have seems to work very well. I deleted the awful youtube app. Sure the odd 5 second ad comes in but much better than the disease of marketing that the actual Youtube App is infested with.

Great potential, but.... Crash!. Ok, so I'm using the free version; however, I can't justify buying it when I can't even make it through a whole article without it crashing several times -- twice during the article which prompted me to write this review. Unfortunately, I will have to read the article in Safari and hope that I don't get any redirects to the App Store for some dumb game. That being said, this app does a great job at blocking unwanted ads. With exception to the crashes, it's a smooth browser that has the potential of being a great replacement for Safari. I hope they get the bugs worked out and I will happily pay for the pro version (as long as it doesn't keep prompting me to buy one of their other apps).

Okay, but understand what your getting. The good is that it will do precisely what it says it will, I found it to be quite effective. The bad and unfortunately a big downside for me is that this is in fact a separate browser, it is not a blocker that works within safari itself. So few of the most coveted features of Safari are available. You cannot import your Safari bookmarks, or sync between device browsers, no tabs, no iCloud sync etc. I thought I was getting an add on to my safari browser, my mistake okay, but in my opinion this should be made clear right up front.

Fantastic. This is an amazing browser. It is fully functional, and operates well. It fulfills it's promise of blocking ads. The UI is a bit clunky, with huge buttons for the homepage, forward and back buttons, and the options tab. This can be turned off, but not turned down by switching to full screen mode. The tabs are poorly done, with no easy way to switch back and forth between tabs. Aside from these minor UI issues, it is fantastic. My favorite part aside from the Adblock, is the option to switch to desktop sites and back with the tap of a button. Fix the UI and this is a 5 star app.

works good. What's not to like--speeds up news sites that are all but unuseable on iPad because of the pop-up ad windows that are constantly reconfiguring the screen while you're trying to navigate. This is the antidote to that. Love my news sites, but they are just too hard to use without this. They will have to get a different business model--I would pay for my favorite new site, and I already pay for the wsj, so in my. view the idea that news has to be free is just bogus. News has to be compelling, relevant, and honest. If it is, people who want to understand the world atound the, will pay for it.

Stops All Ads and Popups.. I've only had this app for one day, but I already love it! I rarely watch my shows on my TV (even though I have Verizon Fios with like every HD and movie channel), because I like to stream everything through my phone or tablet. There are a couple of sites I like to frequent to watch the shows I like, but they are full of ads that constantly bring up the App Store or change the page I'm on to take me to the advertisers page. With this app, I'm now able to go to these sites with ZERO ads and no hassle. Thank you to the maker of this amazing app!! I seriously love you. 💙

Review 1 of AdBlock. I'm only on the trial time at the moment but so far I really like it. Most of the sites I use to watch Tv or Movies are plagued with redirects to apps or ads when you even try to interact with the page, but this blocks them and now I have no trouble navigating the sites. Also the side bars that are usually filled with spam ads were clear! So yes it's does what it says and that's great. Not sure about spending $4.99 to continue using but after the trial is over but we'll see.

Good, but could be better.... It does a good job of blocking the ads but the navigation of it could be improved. For example Safari lets you see all the tabs that are open all at once and makes it very easy to switch between those tabs. It is rather difficult to navigate through when the screen on the iPhone is rather small. I hope that Ad Blocker would improve its tab options a little more. I still love the ad freedom it gives and it is keeper. 3 stars for difficult navigation.

A giant disappointment. I’ve used this app for years, and now that it has finally stopped working all together, its time for an honest review. This app was needlessly expensive years ago, in a time when 5 dollar apps were not common place. The price was not worth it. This app has always had a ton of bugs. The we browser itself was inherently terrible. There was never any proper app support, and the developer even tried to lure users into buying their other apps with false promises of free pricing, or bs reimbursement. Now the app doesn't even block ads, plus it freezes a ton. Im deleting this now and not coming back. Don't waste your money people

Maybe five stars after trial. If I get a long enough trial period then I can give an honest evaluation of the product. But, so far, it is working as expected. It seems to recognize the damned Geiko video ads that CNN forces you to endure for every news video watched. I would like to try other sites and compare the results with Ipad Safari. I have had problems with PC ad blockers that go overboard and block legitimate pages. I want to be sure that this one doesn't do the same.

All Upgrade Ads and Broken/Missing Features. Tried this because of the promise of full featured usage. Not so: instead there is a confusing barrage of notices that lots of important features are missing or disabled until you pay for the upgrade. These notices are so prevalent that the product is both unusable and somewhat suspect. I would be glad to pay US$4.99 for an app that meets the promises this one made in the appstore writeup, but it has failed thisseconds int the trial: how could the software or the author ever be given any trust again? Almost all software that is not open source is operating as a black box-- all the author has is features and developed trust. FAIL on both here, find one where you CAN trust the author, and perhaps 'whitelists' of permitted sites are a good thing anyway....

Poor. The poor user interface and lack of features would be forgivable of this app actually did what it advertises. It blocks maybe half of your standard page ads occupy a region on the page. It blocks most of the more horrible "overlay" ads that stick to your screen no matter where you scroll, or appear on top of the content you want to view. It's fatal flaw is that it doesn't block at all the worst kind of ads, the ones that redirect you to a spam site or to the app store application every time you refresh the page, effectively making the page inaccessible. Please block ads, and then we can talk about optimization.

Needs improvement. Fantastic app! All of the other positive review that you have read are true. Just a few issues: 1. Every time I open the app I lose all of my already open tabs which can be very annoying 2. No history to get back to my recently viewed pages. I like the idea of no history but it should be an option that can be turned on or off. With these simple fixes this will easily be the best iOS web browser.

Try Before Buy. More developers should let people try before they buy. I have so many save to PDF apps, I can't remember what's what and still haven't found a simple, elegant one. I'm hoping I can find a decent ad blocker. Web pages are so bad these days, it's sickening. More ads than I ever had to watch on TV :(. Articles are even harder to view on iPad. I hope I have written enough words and that this app works as advertised.

Cool Idea...Jury is Out. I just got the trial version of this app and so far it is doing a good job of blocking ads. Especially love how it is blocking those most annoying gyrating ads. The UI leaves a bit to be desired and the bookmarks function looks very basic. I may end up using this app only for news sites where I don't want my reading interrupted. Will update after I've used the app a while longer.

I couldn't figure out how to do the setting and there is no instruction showing me how to make it work. The app just kept telling me to upgrade to a paid version to make it work and I almost did it. After reading the review, I decided to write a 5 star review and see if this will unlock the app. If it doesn't work, I will give it a very low rating and uninstall the useless adblock.

Fantastic for an old iPad2!. Many of the ad block apps reference that they are only for the newer iPads and I'm stuck using an older one. Safari, Dolphin and Chrome crashed repeatedly trying to load ad rich news pages to the point that I pretty much gave up trying to read any of my favorite newspapers. This app solved the problem completely for me. Very easy to use, very satisfied!

Very Nice. Great little web browser. The ad block feature works well but it's a little rough around the edges. The content of the ads is blocked but often the outline or frame where the ad would have been rendered still shows up. It reminds me of using Firefox AdBlock Plus plugin when it was still new. I'm sure in a couple years this app will be the most popular iOS browser in the App Store. Kudos.

Better than most. Doesn't crash as much as safari, and the ads are gone 95%+ the time. I've only seen 2-3 sites with ads. Great for streaming but it can be difficult to go back a page or two without restarting the same video again. The "save your previous visits" function is buggy. It will open up the same tabs that I was actively looking at from over a month ago. (This is even after switching this option off for a few days- week; once I switched it Back on, it brings back all the old tabs and searches.) It's annoying to close all of the month old tabs; it would be nice if it opened/saved the last thing I was on before I left. Instead it always goes way back to things I've already closed. Overall, it works for its purpose -blocking ads. The features might not be working optimally, but I'm sure that it can be fixed. Thanks!

Oh so close. The free trail worked great! My wife installed it on her iPad first then i decided to with the results she had. Once her free trial was up she PAID for the pro.... Thinking it should work just as the free trial did.... WRONG! I was so let down that she paid for this "pro" version and the results she got were as if she was just using Safari....I hope this helps those that are thinking about upgrading to the pro... Does anyone have any suggestions??......If this isn't working shouldn't we be given a refund? I believe we have taken the necessary steps to contacting the creator of this app....I don't understand where all of these 5 star ratings are coming from..

Not worth it. If you really want it, just get the pro version and maybe that would be alright, but as it is, this app simply wasn't useful, even though it blocks ads, it is constantly taking you back to its "homepage" if you switch to another app for a moment and the back button does not work nor is there any history I could find. With constant pop ups about reviewing the app or upgrading to pro, you might as well have left the ads on the pages, at least they were less annoying. Also, you cannot have multiple tabs in this free version. Not a deal breaker really, but with the other issues it is another reason that i did not find this app useful. If you are looking to just quickly look at a page or two without ads, this is alright for that, but really not worth even downloading overall.

Needs some work. I'd like to give this more stars since it does get rid of ads, which is great, but the app has a few problems. The major one is that it has a tendency to crash. It could also use some interface improvements, especially on the bookmark page, which is currently just one big list. Bookmark folders/sections would be nice, as well as mass edit/delete. And recently I have been unable to either add or delete bookmarks at all. I like the app a lot but I hope to see some improvements.

Sudden decline in quality. This browser used to work really well. I was able to browse various websites and it would 99% of the time block ads. Suddenly within the last two weeks, the quality has declined and now most ads are visible on all websites, including annoying pop-up ads that direct you to the App Store. I don't know if this is a software issue or if ads just have a different coding than before, but it has been unfortunate to see a once really effective browser app stop working.

Not bad, still needs some features.. Not a bad app. Certainly worth paying for the pro version. It still needs some features and fixes, though: Currently, as far as I can tell, there's no way to add bookmarks. Also, the 'save open tabs' is a little buggy. It only saves tabs when you close the browser, so when I open this hours later, it reloads tabs and pages I didn't have up anymore. Finally, the startup screen showing the browser title is a bit annoying. I just want to get to the Internet - Not be reminded of what browser I'm using.

Seems to work as promised!. Just got a small taste before the offer to rate for a full-featured trial, so here I am. When I first downloaded I immediately headed to an ad-ridden site that's constantly loading video clips, etc. It worked like a charm! Nothing but the actual page content. Then it began to hang and not load another page, although whether that's the browser, the network or the website's server I'm not sure (I'd just restarted the browser when the offer came up). More to come I guess.

app says give 5 stars to unlock all features during trial. Any company that wants to ask for a 5 star rating to unlock features is a F'd up and unethical company. If you believe your product is truly worthy don't ask, let the users decide. Another company trying to leverage their feedback and ratings by correlating their features and options with feedback. This practice should be stopped immediately.

Does what it says. I'm so happy I found this app, I was getting really tired of being redirected to iTunes or the occasional " adult" site when going to sites that should be child friendly. I've never seen an ad while using this browser, so now I'm using it more than I am Safari. A couple things that would be nice for this app to have are, it being able to remember where I was at last time I closed the browser, like Safari does, and for you to be able to minimize the top and bottom bars of the screen like you can in Safari, so that you have a bigger screen to view the site your on. But those are only minor things.

Hoping for a winner here!. My blood boils every time I just want to read or watch something and I am force fed a pop up that REQUIRES me to click on it while baiting me with my content underneath it or a loud obnoxious product video that is a brutal 30 seconds... Not to mention the small right arrowed logo I have come to despise "Ad Choice". I'm just trying the pro version trial right now and am HAPPY to shell out $5 if this is a decent app... just to keep my blood pressure in check!

As one of the other reviewers said, how can you trust a seller with your data that is willing to trade his integrity for a 5 star review. So far so good :). I've tried at least a dozen different web browsers and they have all let me down sooner or later. Although I can't predict how I'll feel about the app a few months down the line. At this moment, I am very happy and satisfied with the apps performance. The app does exactly what it advertises, which is to block ads. So far no crashes, no lag when loading web pages or media and most importantly no pesky ads or redirections. Keep up the good work!

Really amazing but.... ...please please pleeeeeease add a ghost button to hide/show (all at once) the address bar, tabs bar, and bookmarks bar; I basically have half the screen left to browse on landscape mode on my iPhone :/ Safari has a full screen button that hides all that, which makes it better to browse the web on an already small screen. Would use all the time and recommend to everyone if that was added. Thx!))

Where's the support?. I have sent several emails for issues with a site I use regularly. I have not gotten a responses, nor has the problem been corrected. I paid for the plus app. Constant sex ads taking over. My Safari is working better than this app. What's going on??!! Still having issues. Now it says I have to pay. Again. I already paid twice. Hello??? Is anyone there??? Do you even read these? You certainly don't answer the emails. Maybe it's time to report you guys to Apple since you don't adhere to their standards to sell in the App Store.

Glad to have it. If you have ever watched the movie "Brazil", "Blade Runner", "Minority Report", etc. you see the intrusiveness of ads. Browsing the internet on a 1080p monitor gives you a small 640x480 window of what you are actually looking for. What's worse is high CPU/battery usage, Chrome running constant background tasks, and ads that are all movies. It's nice to have an app that keeps this monkey business on a tighter leash.

Not perfect, but it does what it says. After nearly overrunning my monthly data allowance, I downloaded and installed this app. It did exactly what it said it would: blocked most ads, and in the process it cut my web-browsing data usage by at least 70%. It isn't the best browser I've ever used -- it's sometimes slow to respond, it's crashed once or twice, and it's frozen a few times -- but it does what it says it will, and that counts for a lot in my mind.

It broke my web browing. This app broke my wife's iPhone6. It seemed to install ok but when you launch the browser it would just freeze. Nothing would load up. No matter what page I attempt to get to, it would do nothing. I can't get to iTunes either. All I get is some message about the server has stopped responding. Now I have a 4 hour wait to get into to see some "genius" at the Apple store who, according to my AT&T rep could connect to the phone and "reset it." Never heard of such a thing but this is the advice I'm confronted with because of this garbage software. I expect they will do a full factory reset and nothing more. DO NOT INSTALL this unless you are prepared to start over. Uninstalled on ALL of my devices too.

Needs improvement. I upgraded to the Pro version, but it's kludgy. It does filter out ads, but the user interface is so bad it almost negates the benefit. The tabs look hideous and take up far too much screen space. The Safari solution of having separate windows is far more sensible on a small screen. It's also impossible to have the browser open a new tab by default when clicking a link. This is critical for me since half of my iPhone browser use is checking Google News. I need to keep the Google News page open while checking news stories on separate pages. So, get rid of the ugly useless tabs and handle multiple open web pages like Safari does. Then it might be useable.

So far so good--I guess. This app seems to work with the settings to reduce the tonnage of ads in your typical website. It certainly doesn't get rid of them all, but it does seem to trim the bulk of what is typically seen in a web page in Safari. Since the bulk of apps these days have a browser function, this app won't be successful in cleaning up those apps as well. Most apps are designed to maximize your exposure to advertising. That's why you get them for free. The prudent thing to do is to use Ad Blocker as a replacement for Safari. Do *NOT* use the individual apps for websites, most are designed to maximize the amount of space devoted to advertising. That's why you usually get them for free. That's the best way to dodge those vampires of the World Wide Web, advertisers.

Great app!. Everything I wanted it to be except the option to change the search engine. Really why block ads if you are just handing over your info to google so they can sell it the highest bidder so you get more ads LOL Of course after asking the app creator he informed me (within, literally, a few moments!) that he will fix that to give us all that option! He also suggested I add my choice of search engine as my homepage until he could update the app. Did it and I am good to go!

So far its great. This app does the job. I was getting very frustrated with the fact that i would be reading and it would direct me to a new page and open the app store. To make it worse i would try to go back to the page i was reading and i couldn't. Since using this it hasn't happened. Give it a try. If it keeps working at the end of trial i will definitely buy.

Love. I absolutely love this app! It's so difficult to find coupon apps that actually work! Especially ones that you can either use the coupon online or in the store! It has a VERY wide variety of stores and has where they are located! Being new to a city it's difficult to find stores and and being from a small town it's hard to learn about new stores! Absolutely love this!

Lifesaver. Me and my husband got rid of my cable a while ago so now that we are limited to watching all of our television shows online it was such a big deal to have a AdBlocker for my iPad because prior to finding this app I could not watch any of my shows. Well I'm ecstatic to say that now I can watch any show from all of my free website as much as I want and I don't have to worry about any ads it's actually easier to watch it now on my iPad than it was on my PC thanks for this genius app!!!

Where is support?. After using the free version for a while, I had some questions about its function. Specifically, I asked the author to help me with the failure if the Adblock browser to function in the background on my New iPad. I like to listen to various radio talk shows on my iPad while doing other things. I can't figure out how to do this without stopping the background task. It has been over a week since I sent my inquiry and have had no response from the author - not even an acknowledgement of my inquiry. I would not recommend this app to anyone because of this complete lack of support coupled with apparently limited functionality.

This app does what I needed it to do. Sites that trigger a lot of pop up ads are often hard to navigate on an idevice. Using this app makes such sites usable. I haven't even noticed what effect it has on unobtrusive ads that appear on the page. They don't bother me, and I think everybody's got a right to make a living. But, I'm not going to visit your site at all if I can't even stay on the page without something popping up in my face asking me if I want to buy Viagra. I am writing this review to unlock the pro version features, because I want to decide if it's actually worth the five bucks. However, even if there isn't much else of use to me in the pro features, I'm pretty sure it is still worth the five bucks.

IPad version blows, doesn't work!. Have this on my Mac and love it. Have been using my iPad more because the Mac needs a tune up from Apple. All the ads online were driving me nuts, so I dl'd the free version for iPad. It blows compared to the Mac version. The "browser" seemed like adware or spyware and the bottom line is, it did NOT block any ads! Also, to unlock all the features during the trial, you MUST rate/review the App. Here's your review, but you can keep the App, I've already deleted it after 15 minutes wasted trying to get it to work. Lost another five minutes I will never get back posting this review. This guy has to be making money hand over fist, so I totally don't buy the "poor me" claims, either. Seems SO desperate and shallow to demand users review this product and claiming you'll have access to all the features, for a day, but still did not work! Save your money, this is junk!

Adblocker for iOS. Difficult to figure out how to use. This is actually a browser replacement. It blocks some ads, but be prepared to enter all your bookmarks again. There is no way I can see to import them. Once I realized it was a browser replacement and entered my bookmarks into it, it has worked pretty well. I have changed my review to 5 stars. Not perfect, but it is constantly improving and is helpful with the bandwidth sucking ads no one wants to see except the leeches making $$ off of them. Update got ios ugrade, does not work, author will not respond.

Best 99 Cent Purchase Ever!. Fantastic app! Pop ups and banners are becoming more and more intrusive, some to the point that you have only a narrow window to actually read the content of the page you're viewing, and this app does an excellent job of zapping them. If you have large fingers like I do and browse the net from you're iPhone, this app is for you. It's frustrating to accidentally click an advertisement when trying to close it, and that's no longer a problem.

More complex & can't get it to work. What happened to Adblock?? When I installed it on my iPhone 4, two years ago, it worked immediately & beautifully. Now, it's doing nothing. And it's telling me I will have to upgrade to Pro, which I don't mind, exactly, except why would I pay for it when the basic isn't working in this new "time trial" period? And other reviews have said they've purchased it & installed it twice & it still doesn't work?? And when I go to "How to get started," I click on it, but it loops back to the page I was already on. So I can't even know what to do next. You had a great resource with Adblock, esp since it was free & worked immediately. But now you're charging $5 a pop, and have over million users... And it's so much more complex & I can't get it to work. So unless & until that changes, I'll be going without Adblock on my newest devices. 😟

Not a bad browser.. I have been using this for several months and it is simple and fast. The fact that it blocks all the trash that would float into my Safari browser if I used that is enough to cause me to overlook some shortcomings. When I use Safari, Diiego, Opera etc they all accept ads. Lately the ads have become intrusive to a fault. Also because I have a limited data cap not having ads floating in is really a plus.

Need this app to watch shows. Nothing bothers me more than being in the middle of suspenseful, exciting scene of a show and all of the sudden I get dragged away from my fun by annoying advertisements in the app store that I don't want. Then, after the immersion is broken and my blood pressure is skyrocketing, I return to my show after leaving a negative review on the advertisement for tearing me away from my wonderful world. Thanks adblock for eliminating the need to leave the comfort of my shows and keeping my anger at a minimum.

Worth it. I did not bother to even send time trying all the free version features. A quick test and I was happy with what it had to offer and bought it. The area that needs works is browser setting. Every time you open the app it goes to default options. I would like to to remember the browser settings from last launch. Eg search settings. Keep up the good work.

Forced to review app to unlock features for trial period. I am perplexed that I must write a review to unlock the features in the app during my "Trial Period". How can I write a review for an app I haven't yet used? Hmmm. How about making the app functions available from the start so I can see if I like it then write my review. I'm not sure which is worse using my old browser with ads or setting up this one. Since this app has already started off bad I'm walking away early before I regret spending more time setting up my "Trial" by the way the opening dialog has a misspelled word "millions" is spelled "millionens". Do you trust an app with your privacy if the opening statement isn't correct? That's the easiest part! If that's wrong how many "mistakes" are in the coding of this app. Buyer beware!
