Great app except for ads. Great app for my business and keeping track of miles. Only 4/5 because even after purchased still get ads popping up. Can be very frustrating at times.

Works for me. Yes, I was surprised when the free app needed me to upgrade to a purchase fter a limited number of entries. HOWEVER, the upgrade price for unlimited offers is well worth the cost. It's so easy to use I'm keeping track of my mileage in a consistent manner for the first time ever. And the print capability will make my accountant happy.

Good app for manual tracking. I really didn't want an app to track my trips via GPS. Luckily I found this one since there aren't many others like it. It's a little clunky to use it for manual entry, but it gets the job done the way I want it to.

Needs updated mileage rates. This app works well enough as far as using the odometer manual selection for me. However the mileage rates need to be updated for 2018 and there’s no way to manually override the preset rate.

Functional; But Could be Improved!. I use this app all the time for my business. Basically, functional, but needs improvement. 1. Allow for multiple vehicles; remember the ending mileage for other vehicles! 2. Need to be smarter about categories; I use this for more than just mileage. I use to track business expenses, and yes, I know that I can tack these, but in business there are common categories that might be added to the app; e.g meals and entertainment, donations, travel expenses, office supplies, etc. Making these types of changes would be worth extra in my mind. One last thing, let the app rotate!

Love Easy!. I love all things easy. And this is just that! All the info you need without having to track everything fast! Well done developers!

Perfect tool. I didn't need a complicated spread sheet. All I needed was to state how many miles driven to a location, the purpose, who was involved and the date. No frill. Plus it exports my report to me so I can print. Perfect!

Easy to use and export. Been using for about 6 months and like it very much. Easy to export and cant beat the price for unlimited data. Trialed other apps and found this to be the best for me.

Great app and pretty easy to use.. Overall this app is pretty basic and easy to use. Easy to send to an excel sheet and attach to my expense reports. Because I use my vehicle for multiple business use, it would be nice to have a few more optional categories to fill in for my records. Or even a notes section for each travel. Great for the price though!

Doesn't always track mileage.. I pushed the start button to track the mileage today. When I got home it showed I hadn't even moved. Not happy!

Simple. Easy to use. Fits my needs.. Haven't had any problems with the free version of this app. I needed something simple to track mileage that didn't have a million other features and this fits that need perfectly. I haven't bought any of the upgrades yet but likely will do the ad-free one soon.

Mileage Expense Log PRO. The app works fine but the Update in the Apple store to update to the 2018 rate book doesn’t work and there’s no way to contact the developer from the app or from the store. I’m hoping this bad review will get his attention!

Not great but better then others. Simple without tons of features I don't want. Only issue is that you have to hit done on so many pages. Also. It's odd that working too down on the page it starts with ending mileage vs starting mileage.

Great tracker!. I like simple easy quick learn apps and this is it for tracking my business miles. The only thing that annoys me a little is that it turns off from GPS tracking if the stop is longer than deemed necessary by the app. Otherwise you can manually input your miles.

Love it!. I highly recommend this app! I have tried out at least 5 free mileage apps and this is BY FAR the best! It is so easy to throw in the destination and odometer information and let it do the calculating for you. Or, you have the option of putting in the miles yourself if you already know them but want to ensure you track them. I definitely recommend this for anyone that has to track mileage. Easy and effective!

Very helpful. I like this app. Use it for my business. I like the detailed report I can print at the end of the year. I've tried to share it with business partners but we couldn't find it in the App Store. Is it still available?

Disappointing!. Disappointed that this app does not time stamp start and stop locations. Paid for the full version only to find out it does not meet my needs.

Straight Forward. It's very easy. My only issue has been if I take a call while its tracking it stops tracking. Probably more a Verizon issue than an app issue. Love using it though. I'll have an even better perspective when tax season comes around!

Review. Excellent. Easy to understand & use. Has all information needed for each trip for end of year information. Car used, where, why, miles driven & all expenses totaled related to ea trip. Please don't change a thing.

Well designed. This app is designed to allow for easy entry of data, especially repeat information. In app purchases--unlimited data especially, make the app useful. Advertisements are a bit intrusive, but another app in purchase removes those. Overall a nice app.

Way better than paper. Bought this app a year or two ago and love it. Was reluctant to leave my old paper mileage logs behind but this app makes my log responsibilities so much easier. Great app!

Good app. Good app for tracking mileage. One feature needs to be added. I do not drive my car only for work so the ending odometer from last trip is not necessarily the beginning odometer for next trip. Need to be able to log the trip at the beginning of the drive with date, trip details, and beginning odometer. Then be able to go back to the entry and log ending odometer. I tried to do this and the entry was gone when I went back to record ending odometer. Now I am having to write beginning odometer somewhere else and then enter all at the end of the trip.

Get THIS one!. I switched from another mileage app to this one - it is easier and organized much better! I use it every day. Love the summary screen! A+

Nice App. Works very well for what I need. I wish I could remove some of the trips off my list and that it would put frequently used ones at the top, but other than that it suits my needs perfectly.

Independent contractor. Very useful and user friendly.

Does What It Says!. My business is driving to different assignments all day every day and this app. allows me to track mileage and associated expenses for each. Just sent my tax docs. to my accountant and it was great to be able to get a summary and breakdown so easily. The only improvement I might ask for is being able to input data in landscape also.

Easy To Use, Love It But.... This app is simple, keeps track of your mileage and cost. I have no complaints except I wish it would remember a trip and mileage and input automatically, rather than that, it's easily worth the cost!

Love this app!. This is very easy to use and makes tracking our business miles so much easier! We were amazed at the actual miles travelled when we started recording everything. I wish that when you put in the same destination it would recall the miles because I have to keep figuring the mileage over and over. But other than that, great tool for our business!

Makes expense reporting quick and easy. I enter my mileage and use the voice to text feature of the phone to have the destinations and reasons fields filled out as I pull into my driveway so I can quickly be done and export at the end of the month.

Great Business App!. Delivers on it's promises. I have been using MEL for over a year and it hasn't let me down. I love the easy export to HTML and I pop the data into a spreadsheet and I have all my mileage expenses available for my taxes. Highly recommended!

Decent App. At first was great. Easy to use etc... but now maybe after an update or something, can’t email the mileage log (ridiculous). And they have no phone support. So definitely will not be using this app anymore.

Simple and clean. Much cleaner and easier to use than others. Many of the others are too complicated if all your trying to do is log miles and other typical expenses. Quick data entry, easy to use. Would be 5 stars if it auto synced across all devices although it is fairly simple to upload to iCloud from one device and download from iCloud to a second or third device.

Boo boo. So much for 5 start! Love the app! Hate the false advertising!! It's not free, after few use to get you the taste, it wants to eat your green to continue. Give it a try and see if it's something you want to PAY for a FREE app! 😎

Great!. Like that GPS usage is optional, as I didn't want to drain my phone battery. Plus, simple input & monthly excel downloads are intuitive and dependable. Just what I was looking for!

Missing lot of options for $9 app. Can’t schedule bi yearly jobs or jobs that need to be done every 2-3 Year’s

Great app!. Free if you don't care for the upgrades. Otherwise very economical compared to other mile tracking apps in the market. Easy to use and it offers several ways to get the reports at the end of the year. I have found this app to be very useful.

Erased two years worth of data. I loved this app. It was everything I needed. Until I upgraded my phone. Went to open the app up after downloading all my apps back and my entire history was gone. Nothing. Nada. Gone! As a small business owner that is a very costly error and one that will cause me hours upon hours to attempt to regenerate. Sad to say but now I'm looking for a better app that has some reliable backup.

Drdanaac. Easy to use. Like the download options. Is a little difficult to type in the manual mileage when you forget to restart the tracking after pausing. Overall a good app.

Lost most of my data. Software had a glitch and locked up on me. Saved it to cloud but still had glitch in it trying to return it to my phone. Lost over a years worth of mileage tracking.

At least it's a backup. I have mixed emotions about this app, in that it works well enough for me. If you’re expecting supper accurate milage tracking then you’re likely to be frustrated; keeping a simple hand written milage log would be quicker and easier. Don’t depend on it as your primary milage recorder because the auto track appears to turn off on its own accord sometimes. And the recording process could be more intuitive, so I’ve lost data by just trying to work the app (no do-overs). Sure I can reenter it but keeping a simple hand written milage log is quicker and easier. I haven't noticed any battery problems that are mentioned in other reviews, but I rarely drive more than 30 miles at a time and the power cord is tethered to my car sound system.

Simple & Convenient. Quick, simple & reliable. Only shortcoming is that data stored on phone does not map over to next device if you should get a new phone. Make sure you download data before you switch devices.

They Keep It Simple. App is bare bones and easy to navigate. Not a lot of frills and actually has a old school design that I like. Where's the need for flare when tracking mileage?!!! Be advised. You will have to pay $2.99 to have unlimited entries. Worth it.

Great mileage app. I was looking for a user-friendly mileage app and this worked perfect. Love the export features. Helped me to keep up with business/personal mileage for my job

MEL. Great app. Can track mileage by vehicle, by GPS or direct entry. Also remembers purpose and locations which are in alpha order or can be easily searched for. This is the fourth one of these mileage tracking apps I've used and is the best.

Sorry bout your luck!. Transferred all apps from my iPhone 6 to my iPhone 7 using an app suggested by att. Unfortunately, it did not transfer my data along with the app! Now I have lost a years worth of data. Other apps transferred just fine! Not this one!

Mileage tracker. This app is very user friendly; easy to navigate; can easily send as an email document for reporting purposes. Stores previous typed locations for cut and paste. No lag in navigating through the app: only thing I would ask is, to have the calendar year so you don't have manually put the date in.other then that we'll worth it!

Great app.. I have always had trouble keeping up with my milage for my business. So far the app has worked wonderful.

Crap. Tried 2x now to use this app, and at the end of the day, it has recorded nothing. Very frustrating. The second time I even checked to make sure it was monitoring. I last checked it at 19.8 miles. Now it is the end of the day and it has not logged a single mile. It recorded 0.0 miles for the day. Move along. Nothing great here.

Great app!. I'm a pastor, and use this app to track my mileage. It's accurate and dependable. I like me how I can export the report into Excel, so I can print it and submit it for reimbursement.

Disapointed. I just want something to keep track of my mileage. I can not even figure out if this does that. I stores no information that ican tell unless u buy it. I have no clue what mileage rate is, unless I am supposed to add gas, insurance, maintenance and come up with a rate it costs since there is a dollar sign there, I just don't know. Simply not the program for me.

Whole miles only?. I travel 20.6 miles a lot but I can't enter that. It enters 206. Didn't think that would be hard to do... Dear programmers: please get on this. It can't possibly be that hard to fix this. Thnx.

Great app. Excellent app to keep track of mileage. One of the best features is that fact that you can email the logs and also upload it in iCloud.

Lack of description. I bought this App thinking that it would give me the benefit to use the app, it stole my money and did not give access, for me to use I have to buy another thing and then another thing, this is not right I want my money back !!! Bunch of thives, it should say what you are buying does not grant full access of the feature !!

So far, so good. I just got this but so far, so good. Entering info I'd kept in a written log was very easy, but it made me wish I'd gotten this app earlier! Tax prep should be a lot less fraught.

Great App!. Except the auto odometer only works if you never leave the app. Once you do, it never gets the mileage correct.

Insurance adjuster. I love this App! It's an easy process to record daily mileage. I am able to upload my monthly mileage via email and tweak it in Excel to a format for monthly mileage reporting. Thanks!

Not happy with this app. The interface is okay. Not exactly what I need. The export to HTML does not send the data that I entered which is sort of the point. I also have a serious problem of an app being categorized as 'free' that locks out after a few uses so that you have to purchase it. Don't waste your time

Great Mileage Tracking App. This is great for contractors/employees that have to visit multiple customer site locations and track their mileage.

Perfect Mileage App. Simple & Effective. This app does what you need, able to use odometer at the start of the day and update at the end the day. Easy and useful.

Not automatic. If you don't open the app and click on the start of every drive, the app does zero. Nothing. Nada. Clicking on the word "automatic" each trip does not make it automatic.
