Love this game!. I really love this game. The higher you go, the more challenging it becomes. My husband and I played it on my I Pad on a plane trip from Florida to Ohio, and it made the time pass so quickly. Lots of fun and it's free!!!

Not Since Bookworm..... I enjoyed the game Bookworm for years until the developers no longer wanted to upgrade it and I’ve been searching for an enjoyable word game ever since. Word Jewels fills the bill and then some with so many fun choices of games and how challenging they are. Boy Howdy Technology has captured my attention as I now play another of their games, Mosaic Jewels. These games keep me involved and thinking and they are fun and addictive. So happy I checked these out.

I keep coming back to this game. I play a lot of word games and sometimes I get bored and give them up. I have had dry spells with Word Jewels but, as my title says, I keep coming back. I’ve had it for years and it’s still a game I play.

Word Jewels. A cup of coffee and one game of Word Jewels..a great way to start the day!...am addicting game..I like the newer game wordzing for the variety of challenges...and also to see how you measure against other players.

Retraning the Brain. I do like that you keep giving me another chance, I just keep trying. Maybe the brain will get better. Thank you. I only like games that challenge the Mind,games where you have to save someone, or shooting everyone, not Interested!! Thanks

Challenging. I’m enjoying this game it’s fun and addicting and I have played it for awhile. I was addicted to Solitaire for a long time. I’m and adult and I enjoy the challenge.

Awesome !. I really like how there are so many different variations to chose from in the free version! The ads don’t pop up taking over the whole screen. I like that too!

My Review.. I love this game. When I started to play it was in 2016. Sometimes I only could find 3 or 4 letter words back then but now I find words with many more letters than that. I surprise myself with words I once was taught many years ago. I currently have thousands of points right now. I am also turning 73 the end of this month and you really can teach an old dog new tricks!!!!!

Endless Possibilities. I love words and these games get all the neurons firing for answers. I've downloaded a number of apps that make it fun to find and use words, but I'm addicted to all the Word Jewels games. Not only are they challenging but the customer support is beyond reproach: I emailed them about a problem and had an answer and a fix by the next morning! Five star games with five star service. You just can't beat that combo.

Quick fun. A great word game that allows me to "dip" in, play for only a few moments or a long time and keep my brain engaged. A literate alternative to so many time-wasting word games in ther App Store.

Great game. Can be addictive. You get three extra turns before you flame out. My highest is 16 million, then 12, then lots of lower numbers. Good luck.

Great app!. This company makes the best apps I have ever tried. The ads aren't too intrusive and the games are all fun and engaging. I especially like the fact that, unlike some apps, the exit button on the ads ACTUALLY WORKS and you're not left punching the "X" button repeatedly for no reason and then FORCED to go to the App Store whether you wanted to or not!

Challenging at times. This game is sometimes easy to back yourself into a corner. The bonus options make it rewarding when you are able to make words you haven’t seen in years.

Sticking. Both word jewels games Word Jewels and Twist keep freezing. Please fix. Have tried reboot and open and close. Help! Love these games. Working great again. Thank you very much.

Love the App!!!. I thoroughly love the game! I play it each night for relaxation. There have been a few times where I have played two or three games in an evening! Please don't take away this game!! Thank you.

Suggestion. Great game! One thing I hate is when you get to level 300, but then lose and have to bounce back to level 25. Why not make it 200 or something. Hope you designers will take my suggestion, as this is defeating and irritating...

Great game.. Being fair though, there should be at least 2 more restart levels between after level 25. I've reached level 52 once or twice but when I have to restart, I can't get past level 46 without having to do it all over again. Also, more words need to be added to the puzzles. I've gotten so many of the same words in different levels, it gets boring and my app has been crashing quite a bit lately.

Again it Gets my vote. Boy Howdy! I like this game. Nice levels from easy to challenging. AND, no long ads!!! Thank you! I enjoy many of your games. Keep um coming

Try to guess how to get a good score. The different versions are all fun. But I can’t figure out the reasoning behind sometimes getting 3 stars or 5 stars. I’ve tried making long words, not using the “free” spaces, using the free spaces, not using the power mode to swap letters or add a move, etc. The instructions tell you what to do to get to the next level, but not how to improve your score in that level. And the only measuring goal of “endless level” is how many stars you can earn. So, when I get too discouraged or frustrated, just give it a break & either go on to a different version or move to a different game for awhile.

An excellent game!. Mary and I both like this game very much! Once you start playing you won’t want to stop. We highly recommend this game. We contacted boyhowdy about adds. Received a very nice reply. Boyhowdy is well worth supporting!

Fun and challenging. Although it’s one game there are six different ways to play it. If you’re competitive, you can see how your scores compare to others. I like that it’s not timed, so that I can take my time finding higher scoring possibilities. That makes it a more relaxing pastime for me.

Addicting. I love the games these geniuses have created. They are hard enough to be fun and competitive but not so difficult to causecstress and frustration

Word games that change and are really fun. Games that vary enough in format and requirements. My favorite is wordzing but I play all variations. One of the best games!

Use your words!. I’ve played WORD JEWELS for several years. It’s fun to work up through the levels or once you’ve succeeded to master the top level, you can continue to start your play from there. Several games within the game provides new challenges and ensures your play doesn’t get old.

Absolutely hooked. I have played all the different Word Jewels games, but now am hooked on Blitz mode, where I'm just playing against myself. I've gotten pretty darned good at it. I just sent Boy Howdy a suggestion, and they responded in just minutes, great service. Only negative, I agree with the player who complained about the high incidence of odd letters, all the Qs, Js, etc. I have played many word games online, and tired of them all, I never get tired of this one. One of the things I like best is the very rare use of archaic or medical or scientific words that no ordinary player would know, most other games abuse this option.

Few tweaks. I think you should be able to bank unused moves to use in future levels of the games. A little unfair to make the player use all power level options if needed, but then also take away unused moves left on easier games.

The BEST Word Games!. All of the games from Boy Howdy are so perfect because they’re completely straightforward. While they are challenging, they aren’t frustratingly so ... and you don’t have to pay for anything! This app has several different games to choose from that all follow the same format: use all the colored jewels to form words before you run out of turns. If you have a question, you’ll get a quick reply from a very nice person who’s happy to help.

Several options. Like that there are several different ways to play.

Word Love. Wonderful game. A variety of word games for everyone. I personally love Wordzing mode. Several different modes rotate to keep play diverse. Advertising doesn’t take over your play time. One of my go to games.

High praises for word jewels , except for one thing..... I love word jewels! I play it more often than I should..... like at work! The customer service is great. However, I find the word game called, “wordzing ” in which the player is supposed to make words using 11 purple, 19 green and 13 blue letters ( for example) in 8 moves to be frustrating and demoralizing. I’d like to skip that game because I’ve had very few successes. It’s a real buzz kill!

Addicted!. I love this game! The Wordzing version allows some variety so never gets boring. I play on my iPad when I wake up in the morning. It wakes my brain up. I play while watching TV. It’s like knitting for the mind!

Word Jewels is a Jewel!!. The Word Jewels games have been our favorites for years! They tease your brain and make you think, strategize, and just feel driven to beat yourself! Wordizing is my newest addiction. My husband has been playing the Endless mode so much that he is number 50 something out of all the players! Thank you for these awesome games!

Fun for a while. Liked the variety of games and enjoyed the challenges for about 15 hours of total play time. After that, it became repetitive. Best thing is no ads!

LOVE this game!. I am often out of WIFI range but I can still play this game. I challenge myself to only use 6 letter words but it isn't always possible. I LOVE that in newer releases I can RETRY my highest level since always starting over wasn't my happy place. I've only played 3228 games but I love the mental challenges. It is WONDERFUL for someone trying to learn English as well or for someone poor in spelling. Try it! It is addictive:).

BoyHowdy=Addiction. I am ashamed to say that I play Boy Howdy word games even when I am supposed to be doing something else, no matter how critical the "something else" may be. I have always loved words and assembling words with the Boy Howdy games is a great joy to me. My sisters and I trade words on line in a friendly competition, always trying to outdo each other. What could be better for this than Word Twist?

Love!. As a writer, I use this wonderful game to untangle my mind and do it in a fun way. It’s not always easy, but it’s not impossible to level up. A total thumbs up from me!

Great games. I love this and other games by Boy Howdy. The idea of Word Jewels is that you make words out of letter “jewels.” There are several variants within Word Jewels Plus, so you can challenge yourself with different versions.

Awesome follow up to the first!. I can't go back to the basic app because this has so many more fun elements and options. It is great to just be able to pick up where I left off and mess around with when I have a few minutes.

Time well spent.. A simple game in some ways but also challenging. I have had it for a while and one reason is you can do the easy 4 letter words or try for longer ones. You can play for a while or ages minutes while you are waiting for your appointment. Give it a try!

Classic word game that excells!. I stick to Classic Word Jewels and love the game although my vocabulary is not good. My friends with good vocabularies love it too! They do much better than I do. My record is 4,100,000 but I have only broken 2,000,000 3 times and only broke 2.5 million once! Still, the best word game on the planet!!

Playing Lots of Boy Howdy Games!. I recently realized how many of the Boy Howdy games I’m playing. I like word games, but also have always been a mahjong (and similar games) fiend. Keep up the good work, the customer service is unparalleled!

Akcamper. Word jewels is simply the best game I’ve ever played on my iPhone. I always have the phone with so anytime I have to wait or am just sitting here watching the tv, I can play it.

Fun and addicting. Have been enjoying this game for months and contacted the developer when it kept crashing. I received a response immediately and the issue was fixed within a few days. Very impressed.

The Best!. When I had a problem with Word Jewels, (my IPad was the Culprit), I felt like someone had taken away my favorite “Toy.” The support team is fantastic. I had an answer The next morning! There are many word games, but This one never bores.

Great Game - Addictive. This game is really addictive. You can dip in and out without losing progress - so great to play in short breaks. Sad that it is really hard to stop playing!

Challenge Mode. It would be good if after completing the 5 letters mode and going into the 6 letter mode, that if you end the game that you have the option of restarting at either the beginning, like it is now, or starting with the 5 letter mode. It takes so long to get through the 5 letter mode, that now the challenge should be to continue rather than have to go right back to the start. The option is there for the 4 letter to 5 letter mode, so why not allow it for the 5 letter to 6 letter mode The game is excellent.

Word Jewels 2 Challenge. Love this game. Have enjoyed many hours of challenging myself to find words and progress to the next level. Only complaint is that not all words are in the dictionary so have no idea what they mean.

Annoying ads. I might have liked the game but for the constant banner at the bottom which advertises a whole bunch of junk. I can't get rid of it. It is really distracting. The game only uses maybe a quarter of the screen. Terrible!

Wonderful Games. I particularly like the Bow Howdy Games because they are well designed, addictive, and whilst there is observable advertising that I'm sure has its subliminal effect, it doesn't spoil the game by being very intrusive as it is in other games.

WordJewels2. I haven't been playing this for long but I am very happy with the game and the different games within the game. It is surely keeping my mind alive and well! Word jewels. I used to get really good scores but it seems that the more I play the worse the letters on the board get. Too many x j u z. When left with one of those letters, each extra move bumps it from corner to corner. Very disappointing.

Annoying. I play word games of all kinds, the more challenging the better, but did not last playing this one. I found it quite annoying, after finding a word, to have to hit the check mark at the extreme right of the game board to enter the word. Why not simply double click the last letter of the found word to submit it. It feels like an unnecessary constant interruption of playing a smooth speedy game. Please bring back Bookworm for iPad!

Word jewel. Interesting but hard when there are to many z,x q and y. Not too many words with these letters.

Fun game but....... Really enjoyed playing World Jewels 2, but frustrated that once you have reached level 50 you can not restart at level 50 (as it is for level 25). Twice I reached levels beyond 50 and would have had to restart at level 25.....so frustrated...think I'm done with Word Jewels 2.

Addicted. Great way to fill in time while waiting somewhere, or just sitting at home. Find the more I play the better i get, greatly satisfying and always. But three or four Qu on same page too much!! STILL ADDICTED. have been playing this for over four years and still love it, better than most other word games, always a challenge but fun. Still loving this addictive game, usually use red ones it takes my mind of any stress and I enjoy it. No other game competes in my opinion. Thanks. Years later still not tired of this ever changing challenge.

Good and bad. As much as I like the game, the amount of private data collection and connecting to other web sites is totally unreasonable. You call it a “free” game but it isn’t. The user continuously pays with personal data. I would rather have a paid game.

Great Fun! Great Service!. This game, as with 4 other Boy Howdy games I play, is loads of fun & challenging. "Not to easy as there is no challenge, but not too hard that you get frustrated & leave", is how I would describe all of their games. The games are well maintained & can't really say there's been any Bug Issues. If there is it's always resolved immediately. Every time I have contacted Boy Howdy they always respond & quickly! This is the only game site that I have encountered that does. There are other games (where the maker has many games) that I'm still waiting over 1+yr to hear from them (Zynga). Boy Howdy has The Greatest service! They get my highest recommendation!

Better than Scabble. Word Jewels is a great way to compete against yourself for longer words, higher scores, and speed. It is a fun and challenging way to pass time.

A Favourite!. This is the game I'm most addicted to at the moment. It's challenging and I like the graphics. When I lost my higher level for a day Julie gave me clear instructions on how to get it back and it worked perfectly. We are really pleased with Boy Howdy games. Thank you.

Bigger words needed in vocabulary. Love the game but it won't accept lots of legitimate larger words as being words. Expand the vocabulary and I'll keep playing.

Note to program staff. Very limited vocabulary. Many moves disallowed because program did not recognize them.

Bug found !. Love this game but I found out while playing offline, it crashes and app shuts down. Perhaps it has something to do with ads . Please fix the glitch.

Word jewels. Too many of the same letters in the puzzle, next to one another consistently putting the letter U next to a QU. Not getting credit for two letters when using Qu. Enjoy the challenge

Fun. I like the new Wordzing game but some of the screens are too small. I’d like a game of littered tiles, one missing, so you can slide the tiles to make words.

WORD JEWELS. I enjoy the challenge of making seven-letter words. I appreciate being able to start at level 25 red letters instead of being forced to start at one red letter and laboring to 25 red letters.

Blitz. You have made so many changes to this game. I have been playing this game for about five years and it is so much more difficult to score than earlier versions. Bring back the older versions.

Limited fun. Fun to play until you get to the upper levels and the vowels are limited. You should have the ability to earn more turns or vowels.

World jewels. This game uses the brain And is endless fun with word combinations. I never tire of this game!

Addictive. It is challenging but not so much that you are frustrated. Good brain work out!

Deleted. I wanted to make a better word by using a few more letters than the ones given. I thought this was the point of the game. It wouldn't allow it. If you can't create your own words, what good is it? I deleted it. Sorry. Thank you for the response. I will reinstall and try that out.

Love it. One of the best word games since the first crossword puzzle! I truly would be lost without this game; it's my morning wake-me-up, and my midday pick-me-up.

Fun challenge. I love this game! You never know what letters you’re going to work with! I do wish you got extra credit when you clear three ‘J’s’ or Q-X-Z’s:)

Fun game--makes you think!. Great as both a time killer and as a a fun, non-mindless game. It would be great if for the classic mode there was a highest average score leader board added.

Check don't work. Had this game for some time and now the green check mark does not respond but the red x does. Deleted and reinstalled several times over time to see if it had ever been fixed and so far nope. Fix it please.

Great game. Very addictive. This is a very addictive game. At times it bogs down and responds slowly, but that can be corrected be restarting the app.
