Crashed. I love this game and I’ve been playing for a few years but now I’ve updated my iPad to the new iOS and I updated this app and I was doing an exam and then the app crashed. Please fix this.

Can’t see the colors are extremely distracting. Is the crazy coloring and funky graphics part of the test?

Plastic puzzle. I am enjoying all the quizes I’ve done. The plastic puzzle is quite difficult. The one I and others are stuck on is year one second star, I’ve tried so many possibilities to make the required picture, with no success but a lot of frustration. Is there a way to find the solution or can you send me the solution please, please — losing sleep. Thank you. Martha

Awesome "game". This is more than a game it really trains the brain and doing these exercises has proven the delay of the effects of Alzheimer's disease, I'm gonna keep playing everyday!!

Help. What happens if you need assistance, just can’t find solution. Help path goes nowhere. Also in iPad, there is ad over a red outlined bar. Ad won’t close even with x, bar stays and new ad shows. Is the red outlined bar giving game info? Can’t shrink game screen to see it

Awesome. What an awesome app to kill a little time and make you think. Absolutely free to play and no advertisements (yet). Update- while a great game, this would be more fun if I did not have to start over every time on plastic puzzles. Only on level 3 and have to answer 8 correctly. They are hard to figure out and if you play for 15 minutes and have to stop, when you return you have to work through the 4 you already completed. Kind of a turn off for the app.

Great time killer. I played this quite a few years ago and had deleted the app, I am in my 60’s and wanted to use my brain a little bit when I am bored so I downloaded it again. I wish there were more puzzles like the plastic pieces puzzle, maybe with more pieces to make it harder. My brain is not as sharp as when I was younger so my score might not match my previous best, I know my short term memory is not what it used to be.

Not saving progress. The only thing I don’t enjoy which probably will end up deleting this app is that it doesn’t save the progress when putting the puzzle together in the 1st level. I don’t have time or want to play for long periods of times and have to redo all the puzzles to get back to where one was...

How confusing!. Most games can be played without reading the 99-page instructions! Your programmers skipped school!!

Frustrating for 6 & under. Though the little one got many items, grew frustrated after not being able to progress. Better for teens a adults

I loved it, but level 4 not great. I played this as I found it challenging and fun. However I am now at level 4 and the Kakuro and Sudoku puzzles are frustrating because I am not able to select the correct numbers I need to fill in the boxes. The floating number box is unresponsive to any selections.

Terrible. The plastic game shape is exactly like what shows but no explanation on how to submit answer. Spend more time trying to figure out how to submit answers than playing. Figuring out how to play is easy but once you have the answer how do u submit it. Don’t like this at all!!!! Now I can’t get this review sent!!!!

frustrating!!. This game could be fun, and possibly good for your brain, but if you get stuck on one part of one puzzle in one level, you’re outta luck because you can’t go any further. Why wouldn’t there be a way to see the solution and learn what you did wrong?? Or to skip that puzzle and give me a lower grade - who cares??? I would be really ticked if I paid for the ad free version and got trapped. Grrrrr.

Fun and Challenging...Challenge your kids!. Changing it to 2 stars for now because I cannot complete the last section of year 2 (Paper Puzzle) in order to take the year 2 exam...I answer the first question and then the whole program shuts down. I will change it back to 5 if it gets fixed. I didn’t know how else to report the problem. I always like the brain tests but they usually cost a bunch of money or have a ton of ads. This one is simple, challenging, somewhat free and fun. Kids arent all that crazy about school? If they are anything like mine, they WILL enjoy getting a higher score ore than you! Especially in the name memory game...that is the area that youth has a natural advantage!

Very unclear instructions. Very unclear what you are supposed to do. And then time runs out. You end up looking very stupid.

Can’t get past spelling error. I will not play a game that touts learning ability while spelling things incorrectly. I was recently contacted about the spelling error saying they use “English English.” That still doesn’t explain how you spelled ‘shape’ wrong. So thanks for the snarky email. I also sent a screen shot of the error to this company/developer/magic app wizards... w/e, to show that it had nothing to do with “English English.” 0 out of 5 Update: I sent a screenshot to you guys. Still an overrated game. I cant believe why it would win awards. Staying one star

Challenging. Just starting out. Most games are intuitive, and some (like the name memory game) become clearer after wiping out once. I can actually feel my brain learning a new skill, like creating a sort of formula for determining which object is heavier, or quickly identifying a shape. I like it! Attractive design, too. Edit: apparently cannot do tangrams. Like at all. Can't progress because of it. :(

Great app. I honestly have had way to much fun on this game. My girlfriend and I have competitions on who can get the highest scores lol. I wish there was another version of this game because I've played the same fun games like 40 times lol.

Great for ALL ages!!. My Great Cousin is a genius for his 6 year old little mind. I got this app again mainly for him. I want him to know that learning CAN indeed be FUN!! Plus, I enjoy it as a single adult who doesn’t go to school anymore, and wants to keep up with math. Thanks for this wonderful, chill-like app. I’d say it’s great for ALL ages!! I hope there will be more years added soon! Or another app equivalent to this!

Nice brain workout. Starts out easy and gets harder. Nice little brain workout. However I can’t get to level three because the paper puzzle in year two will not open up. It keeps kicking me out. This needs an update.

Number patterns. Number patterns keeps incorrectly marking some answers that are correct - specifically the 1,3,5,7... patterned questions. In addition the applet in both sudoku and kakaro are prohibiting entry on the board of the chosen number. Thanks!

See easy but hard pass 1 year. I pass all 5 magic hat( not easy), cheating I pass all simple sum ( no cheat) Plastic puzzle pass 2 Shape maths pass 2 Heavier, heaviest no pass :(

Fun learning. My favorite is the magic hats it really tests your eyes. Every time I do it I can feel my self getting better. Heavier heaviest is hard but that is one of the things that make it fun. I also love how they split it up into years. It counts each day and after 365 days it moves you to a new year. I recommend playing for at least 5 minutes a day to keep your streak going. Over all the game is challenging , fun and it really helps.

Block puzzle. I've had 4 people try to solve the third block puzzle on level 1. No one can do it. Think there is a piece missing. Very frustrating and you can't just skip it to go forward.

Don’t waste your time. The puzzles are broken, when you put them the right way they still say your wrong. This game gives you anxiety and it’s not worth it.

Clever concept, but..... Since the update today, the app crashes each time I tap on a game. I tried deleting the app and starting over, but the game still does not work. Too bad....😕

Doesn’t work. Can only do first level magic hats. Won’t open on any more. Maths shapes makes no sense. Not a very good app so I hope it didn’t cost me anything as there was no price. Going to delete it now form my iPhone 6s.

Great puzzles, ads can be a pain tho. Better than a couple of other apps I have paid for, challenging puzzles under time pressure. Ads can be a pain if you accidentally tap them, would prefer to pay a bit and get rid of them!

Challenging. Have just started using this app. Taught 5-8 yr olds for 30 yrs but this is really making me think ! Must be waking up those brain cells that have been asleep for the past 10 yrs. Keep up the good work.

Casual would be great!. The time limit is frustrating! I downloaded this app for my 3 year old as a way to challenge him mathematically. He knows how to answer all of the questions for year one but he needs time to read the sums, find the numbers and then hit the check/tick! Due to the 55 second time limit he is only able to work through 3 questions before he is timed out, which is frustrating for him. If you had a casual one where kids aren’t timed out and can work at their own pace the app would be perfect. Kids would be encouraged to learn, not become discouraged at not being fast enough! The aim should be to get kids excited about learning!

Brain power?. I like this game. Not sure if it really helps the brain a lot but it is challenging. Hate the pop up adds which are impossible not to open accidentally and there is weird glitch if u try to reopen the game without first restarting your device it gets stuck on an add the only way to play the game then is to restart your device I hope this gets fixed

Loving the Challenge. Love the variety of challenges. Something for every mood which keeps the interest.

A+ too hard to obtain. I like this app but it is too hard to move to the next level. Only one mistake on a level may mean you miss getting it and cant progress. It would be more enjoyable and encouraging if at least 1 mistake was allowed, especially as the level of difficultly increases. As soon as I make a mistake I often just press 'quit' and I am getting tired of playing the same games.

Great game. Great game but it is VERY annoying that even though you have to pay to get other grades you still have to pay to have the adds removed on top of that!!! Greedy in my opinion!! If I make an in app purchase I don't want to be paying for the removal of ads also!!

Sharp like a blade. This app has helped keep me sharp and it is actually more challenging than you would think! Really entertaining and I haven't finished it yet which is a good sign. I highly recommend this, it is a game which is also good for you.

Not bad. It's nice but the fact that you have to get "A+" to move to the next game is silly, "A" would be enough. No hints or anything. I hoped the professional version will have more options or anything but I paid more that 5 $ to just remove the ads.

A fun and challenging brain training game. This game starts on easy levels and progresses through five levels of difficulty for each game type. Once you attain a sufficient number of A plus grades, you can take the grade exam to progress to another grade and open new puzzle types. Great layout, nice big buttons in most cases for those people with larger digits. Overall it is fun and as much of a challenge as you can handle.

Good idea, poor execution. Seemed great until the shape fitting puzzle repeatedly presented puzzles without a correct answer listed, making completion of the series impossible two times in a row. And no, I am not mistaken. The needed answers were clear, and did not exist in the listed options. I do not know whether this issue exists with other puzzles, and I will not be finding out - the app is now uninstalled.

It's a trap!. After grinding through the first "year" (i.e., levels), having fun, looking forward to more challenging stuff, I pass the Year 1 "exam" and unlock Year 2. I go to play Year 2, and what do I get? A pop-up asking me if I want to purchase it for 99 cents. Look, either charge for the game or offer it for free with ads. This approach is just conniving. Don't get grifted. This isn't an original idea for a game; there have to be millions of similar, better ones. AVOID, AVOID.

Not for kids just developing skills. Good exercises but unrealistic and overly challenging for kids just developing these skills. You must get an A+ on a timed quiz before moving on to other types of math and skills and then pass a times exam! Very frustrating and anxiety provoking for kids. There is no apparent way to move forward to practice certain skills until you spend a great deal of time on these challenges.

I think brain school is 1of the best games ever it is fun hard cool and awesome at the same time I think anyone with a right mind would love this it has games that you would never believe possible it has things you think wouldn't exist it is amazing and I think everyone in the world would love it so download it you'll wish you would have done it sooner

Great Brain Game. I love that there are different types of puzzles to challenge you! They are difficult, but they wouldn't be exercising your brain if they were easy! Make sure you think outside of the box with the "plastic puzzle" in year 1 - it's tricky but not impossible! I love how this game is making me think!!

B+. I give this game a B+. I am having fun playing it but I don't like some of the levels. For example: the plastic puzzle is a little tricky. Maybe others can fly right through it like I do when I'm doing the math problems or the heavy/ heaviest levels. This is only my opinion. You should definitely try it out for yourself. I really like this app!. I feel like my mental sharpness has decreased since having babies. I have completed round one and two of year one. I play them until I get an A+ on them, which thankfully has been the first try on most. It is challenging and I hope my brain activity will be strengthened by this app.

Awesom-sauce. Only thing that annoys me is how the ads pop up when I click and that takes me to the App Store ( unwanted trip) Overall this is my first fully free brain challenging game (besides getting rid of the ads) love it. Cute additives that make it stand out. Such as career advisor. And the entire concept of the years and the exams given. Love it!!! Get it!! The only thing you are loosing is storage on your phone.

In the right track. I find this both interesting and frustrating at the same time. I am certain I'm the demo for this, but there is not enough feedback for me to actually learn to get the hang of it! Sometimes I don't understand the challenge enough to really benefit from it. This said, I get the wisdom behind the challenges. Too frustrating though for a 50-something in a 20-something architecture.

Good Games but clunky. I love brain games and these games are really challenging. You have to think and use parts of your brain you probably haven't used in a while. The issue I have with the game is you can't progress to the next level unless you get 100%. It gets really annoying and so instead of trying to get a better score, the second I get one wrong I start over. I think there are good concepts here but with some slight UX improvements and tweaks it would be so much better.

Very poorly executed.. First of all in the plastic puzzle, level 1, round 2 is rigged impossible. The shape would be easy to make IF WE HAD THE RIGHT SHAPES!! Plus I found out that those shapes in round 2 IS THE EXACT COPY OF THE SHAPES IN ROUND 1!!! I don't know if that has something to do with it or not, Poor execution. Plus there is little to none explanation...for anything. If there is an exam fee then I don't care because the 1st level of plastic puzzle is rigged impossible anyway. I have tried every way to get the shape and I came close 70% of the tries, but there seemed to be something missing or a shape is shaped wrong....or thats the group of shapes from round 1 and I was suppose to get a new set. What every it is this app is very poorly executed. The buttons in the simple sums are too small. Heavier,heaviest is confusing, I figured the challenge out but it's confusing.

Where can I pay to remove ads???. I enjoy the app and find it fun and challenging , but the ads are enormously frustrating. I would gladly pay to remove them--it's supposedly an option--but cannot find how to do so on my ipad version. The website is no help at all. With that option I'd give 4 or 5 stars. With the ads it's almost unusable.

Fun and Challenging. I like mind games. Especially when everyone wins. I have enjoyed both the simple games and complex ones. The setup creates a goal system that keeps you interested and motivated. I hope you enjoy this (app)lication as much as I do. Apply the game for your brain;-)

Enjoyable. Nice selection of brain games, many categories to choose from. Aside from being educational it's also very enjoyable. The app itself is easy enough to use for both children and adults.

Fun. It's fun to play. When I don't like is the ads that are constantly at the bottom. I have to be careful that I don't accidentally tap on one of them when I'm answering the problems. Have been playing this game for a few weeks now. When I started playing the games were fairly easy. Now they've gotten harder, I am not that far along in the game. It's very challenging.

I like it!. I have been working on year 1 for awhile now, and I am really enjoying this app. I am trying to accomplish every level of every different category. The plastic puzzles are definitely difficult, but not impossible. I just completed the very hard level this morning. I had a break through on some puzzles that had me stumped and I thought I would never complete. It makes me feel smart😊

Could be better. I agree with the last post about year one puzzle round two... I have attempted too many times and it seems near impossible to complete and the hat challenge is great but somewhat too challenging at the end levels. I do like the challenge of years two and three! However year one has yet to win my approval

Challenging and fund. I'm really having fun with the variety of games. The games start you off at a simple level and progress from there. I've currently passed exam 1 after earning enough "A+" in year 1to open up the games for year 2. Up to now I've found the game both challenging and fun!!! Progressing can be tiresome and frustrating but that's where that's all part of challenging yourself. Over all I enjoy it

I love this app but it just needs one thing. I looove this app. I play it every morning to get my brain going and give it some practice. The only thing I'm noticing is while playing shape maths the correct answer isn't always displayed. So you essentially have to pick an incorrect answer to move on to the next question and can't get a perfect score.

Not updated for new iPhone 6+ screen. Seems like it could be fun and challenging, so I gave it more than one star. However, the challenge description is not fitting my screen size properly. I have to read what I can and guess what is required of me. So far, the challenges themselves have been fully visible, but it's still too early to be sure that it won't be a problem later. Later discovered that the challenge descriptions are in the Help menu, so I'm a little happier.

Wasn't planning to have so much fun.. I actually downloaded this for my mother to play, as her doctor recommended for her to, after she had her second brain surgery. I didn't know it was going to be so fun, and I have a hard time giving her the phone to play after I start😂. Now we both have it on our phones to play with. I'm loving it.

Spectacular.. Brain school is the best and most versatile brain game that I can find that does not only give you half if the games and then make you pay for the rest. I even like it better than a few of the popular ones that you pay for.

Brain school great. It good for kids to have fun and also good for older people too that want to keep their brain working I have been telling friends about it. At work and at my school my name is Ryan and I love it they should have more stuff like this

Challenging game. Fun game. Very challenging. The hats game seems impossible on the higher levels. I gave this app 4 stars because the ads are too invasive. They slide in just as you are about to make a selection. Instead of continuing on in the game, you get booted out into the download screen for the app ad you tapped on by mistake. This is very annoying.

Great Game, but limited due to "exam fees" (in-app purchases). I played year 1 and earned enough A+'s to unlock year 2, except it says I have to pass the year 1 exam. Ok, I'll take the year 1 exam... Then I find out that I didn't really unlock year 2 after all! The year 1 exam requires an "exam fee" in the form of an in-app purchase. It's too bad that I'm not allowed to unlock the exams by passing all the courses with A+'s. In the end, this is more like a teaser or a "freemium" game where you have to pay to unlock the rest of the game. So unfortunately, though it's fun and challenging, I can only give 2 stars. (I was going to only give 1 star, but it is a good game.) I would give 5 stars if the developers update to be able to unlock exams, instead of paying for each of the 4 exams. Otherwise, once I complete year 1, I will probably delete this game. :(

Great app! Fun, and helpful.. I've only had this app for a few days but I really enjoy it, the games make it easy to improve the skills they use. My only issue is that I can't buy the "remove add" thing. Every time I go to buy it, the app goes to another screen and then closes. 😞

Great app for brain workout. I work as a speech-language pathologist working with adults who have had a brain injury. I love to use this app in therapy and patients enjoy continuing work outside of therapy...it is easy for them to track progress and challenge themselves

Good Educational App. I really enjoy this app. It provides excellent practice in a wide variety of subjects using engaging games. My only issue with it is the lack of instructions in certain sections. For example, in the Roman Numerals section, the question has three dots after some of the numbers, but it never explains what they mean. I can't figure out how to pass the last section as a result.

Brain Freeze!. I get stuck at the puzzles the most. It's hard but once you figure it out it's satisfying. I'm super bad with math but My math skills improved with this. The weight is confusing sometimes, the hat makes me cross eyed and the shapes make me use my imagination a lot. For a free app I find this more exciting and challenging than lumosity or peak. Just try to improve the fluidity of the puzzle.

I never really liked it. The app is challenging, it is meant to be, but it leaves no margin for error. As result you are usually stuck in year one with no hope for advancing. You try taking the exam, it doesn't tell you what you need to get to pass it and the games have no clear information what you need to do. For example, I am stuck on those adding shapes and Tangram levels. If you can't visualize well don't get this app. The only thing challenging to this game was the basic math, the other things are just games that will frustrate you to no end. There are magic hats, ie: follow the coin under the hat, there are Tangrams, there is which is heavier and there is adding shapes. Beyond that I can't tell you what there is because I can't get anywhere near the second level. To me, it's not worth the aggravation. It goes beyond challenging to just annoying and frustrating. When that happens you will not be thinking clearly thereby making this app completely counterproductive. In my opinion, until they make the levels a little more progressive rather than initially challenging it might have some merit, otherwise, I will be deleting it and sticking with Lumosity.

Dr E. I am having a challenging but fun time completing the levels of year one and am looking forward to the other games. I am now recommending it to some of my patients to use between sessions to reduce loss of the work done in the office. Many of my patients with learning difficulties find Brain School more enjoyable making them more willing to keep working at it in the office and at home.

Saved my sanity while on hospital tagteam for mom. After 1 night staying at hospital with elderly mom, I was ready to tear my hair out. She's 90 recovering from pneumonia. She's easy but can't stand being cooped up and the books on my kindle weren't engaging enough. Sis recommended lumosity, which is good but you only get a few free per day. Brain Game kept me at it a few hours (around mom needs) just to get through Grade 1. ❤

Brain school review. This game is awesome. The only thing I would like better is I unlocked year 2 and can't play unless I pay. I understand you need to make your money to but we should be aloud to play the first level of year two so we can see if there the same games or different games, ect. This will allow us to make and educated discussion if we want to buy it. Again this is a awesome game only that one thing. This game got me addicted to games and I am not a real game player . Thanks for the game .

Well prepared game! Multiple level of challenging game. Impressive. At first glance I thought it's just another foolish game but it's challenging enough for me to keep playing. While the idea whether it really train the brain have no solid prove scientifically this game is well prepared. Recommended. That said, polishing the UI will attract more users!

Great and challenging. I love this app. I used to waste my rare downtime on simple swipe match games and slots apps. This is so much better. Fun and challenging and definitely advances to push your brainpower as you progress. Whenever I get stumped I go back and retry and when I solve a puzzle that seemed impossible I get much more satisfaction then clearing a level on another game. Great app!

Brain school. Really helps you exercise your brain helps you become productive when you have nothing to do great mind exerciser helps produce A healthy brain love it recommended it to everyone who has plenty of time on their hands and has nothing to do great pastime highly recommended

Brain Games. I love these different brain teasers and the game is so addicting! Of course I have to be one of those that will keep replaying each game until I get an A+. If you like games that will keep you interested and have a variety to keep your brain on tip top shape then this is the game for you!

I'am a teacher and I would say this app is not as educational as I thought it would be , from the title Brain School but it could be helpful for kids or and adults with lack of intelligence and people who enjoy apps that really make them feel good about them selves I would say the most fun app or memory included app would be the hat one which is really helpful for think that their memory is not so great so from 1-10 I give this app a good 5 and a half

Great idea, poor execution. The concept is good, but the interface is clunky, the design is juvenile and the ad ware was either purposely designed to inhibit play, or just an amazingly accurate accident. The interface is slow, unable to keep up with a proficient user. The result, especially where the adware is concerned, is limited and aggravating play caused by frequent accidental visits to the App Store as a node is touched but the latent (as in "shows up AFTER THE TOUCH). advertisement is activated instead. The concept is geared for a older crowd, to keep the mind sharp, but the design is reminiscent of the first grade. Manipulating the shapes is slow, unresponsive and lacking in field room to hold all the pieces from the start. It would be better if the pieces could be pulled from side bar to a blank field. There IS great potential here, but so far it is merely a less than half assed execution.

Exams. This would be a brilliant app, except that it locks up while still counting down the seconds. Would love it more if you'd fix it! Also, flashing ads during an exam isn't the brightest idea. Who is it that needs brain school?

Great. I have been lazy to study for my classes. I use to take 6 classes and still pass them with high grades. Since I became a procrastinator. That makes me struggle to pass since I started play last semester I took 5 classes and I'm pass all of them with A s and high B s. thank you.

Ummm........ Some of the challenges are fun others are seemingly impossible to get 100%. Very addicting. Accidentally stayed awake all night playing this. Definitely makes you think and challenges your eyesight and memory. Just try it.

Awesome!. More challenging than Lumosity, isn't $15 a month, and is richer than most so called "brain games" on here. I am a MENSA member and love puzzle, logic, memory, and intelligence based games very much! This has been the best one I've seen on the App Store yet. Would love an update guys. Please keep up the good work here!

Totally addicted. This game is perfect on work breaks, exercises my mind at the level where it's not too exhausted when it's time to continue working after I'm done playing, I will say... I'm not a fan of it being quiet game; add fun exhilarating music or allow us to play our own, it always cuts my music off and music me helps me focus... So please fix that... Thanks D.

I like the app but....... It is kind of hard! The plastics one is difficult because it looks like I have it right but it doesn't click over. Plus i am not sure if there is a button to hit to check it. I find the geometrical shape test to be the hardest and both of these are only the first star in year 1😬. I thought I was way smarter than this!

VERY POORLY DESIGNED. The games are fun and the premise is good, but they allow absolutely no room for error. After beating a level two, it becomes far too hard to complete perfectly. They need to allow a small variance for mistapping, small mistakes, and other such unavoidable problems that cause you to fail. The games would be fun if you didn't have to do them each eight million times in the hopes that one of them will be what their POS algorithms are looking for.
