Changed my life in many ways, and without frills.. Normally I like an app that’s more aesthetically pleasing (right at the beginning of my Kindara/BBT journey I downloaded tons of other apps to see if they maybe looked “prettier”), but I’ve got to say - Kindara has been the one I’ve stuck with that has been tried and true this entire time. While there may be no frills about it, it does the job and it does it well. So well that it helped me learn about my body after coming off birth control. It helped me avoid pregnancy when I didn’t want it. And finally it helped me conceive my very first pregnancy (just got my very positive in life yesterday)! I used Tempdrop along with the Kindara app, and I couldn’t wait to wake up every morning and enter my result to look at my chart. It really is a great app!

Great app for natural family planning!!. I've been using the Kindara app for years and love it! I also purchased a Wink from the kickstarter and it's been a wonderful addition to my natural cycle charting routine... it makes it easy to test temperature first thing in the morning when you're groggy. It's clear they put a lot of thought and effort into it! The winkie face in the morning is sweet and the device itself is sleek and sophisticated. I never have used pharmaceutical birth control... and when we were ready to get pregnant with our son, I consulted the app for when I was ovulating... literally 2.5 weeks later I was looking at a positive pregnancy test! Now that we've decided to wait for more babies, the app has been an invaluable tool for helping me map out my cycle. When I told the doctor my form of birth control is the ovulation method, he jokingly said it was a good way to get pregnant... but here we are going 5+ years strong! I credit that in large part to the Kindara app helping me to keep everything together and know my body better. As a Registered Nurse, I recommend this app to friends and family as a much safer (and equally effective) method of birth control and family planning. Thanks Kindara for all that you've done to make a fantastic app that has helped me personally to have better understanding of my fertility and for our family to be able to plan ahead. No form of pregnancy control or planning is perfect, but Kindara comes pretty close! 😉

Love this app!!. I started using Kindara a few years ago to transition off hormonal birth control and learn more about my body. This app also helped my husband and I avoid pregnancy until we were ready to conceive. It gave me the knowledge to pinpoint the exact days we should be shooting for and low and behold I got a positive pregnancy test after just a few months of trying! I highly recommend this app along with the Wink thermometer. The Bluetooth technology takes the hassle out of inputing that information every morning! I’m also obsessed with the Blog. Lots of helpful articles to grow my knowledge. Thanks so much to the creators of the app for making it so easy to educate myself on so many things.

It WAS Getting better. I have had a love/hate relationship with this app. A few times I have started to switch because they rolled out something new that didn’t work quite right. At the moment I am having an issue with data being erased. After I input the data for the day, I check my chart and it has deleted half of the information for the previous day, so I have to try to remember it and input it again. Sometimes it will delete data from a week or two previously which is annoying because I won’t remember what was going on that day and the data is lost. Now with the premium option they will be taking away the ability to have more than 4(!) custom data fields. I track so many things in this app and am not willing to pay for a subscription to do things that I have been doing for free. If that happens, it might be time to switch for good. It is a shame. This was the best fertility app I had come across, but if it comes down to it, I will just track it myself instead of pay.

Easy and beautiful. I've been charting for over 5 years now and just stumbled upon this app recently. I'm thrilled! So many times I would loose the paper charts. This app also makes me feel like I'm not alone. None of my friends use charts and so I felt like an enigma. Now there is a whole community of women who are tracking their cycles like me! I would be embarrassed to whip paper charts out of my purse in front of other people. Now it's integrated in my phone in an subtle, discreet, and private app! Have kids who love to use your phone? You can put a password on kindara so they can't see each time mom and dad have fun time. The app also is intuitive for those of us who have been doing this already for a long time. You can add more features to track yours personal observations or even tracking days you take vitamins, go for a walk, anything. Now; the only caveat is that this may not be the easiest app for people who have not yet been instructed on charting and what to look for. There are not a lot of instructions for beginners, it's still a powerful tool for women just starting out (but beginners should know that charting like this should be taught by an instructor or you should read a more detailed book about it for it to be most effective.) the chart will keep all the info for you, but you are still responsible to properly interpret the chart. And that's where proper instruction is necessary. Overall, this is a very very powerful tool and I'm so thrilled to use it.

Simple self-tracking app, highly recommend. Update Nov 2017: Still using this, really like the updates! (Cervical fluid descriptors, ability to input custom data). Original review: I love this as a self-tracking app. I tried several different fertility/period tracker apps and Kindara is definitely the most aesthetically pleasing and straightforward. I don't use it to its full extent (e.g. I don't really remember to take my temperature and sometimes I forget to log daily), but I like it as a basic map of my menstruation and ovulation cycles. I highly recommend this to friends who are interested in self-tracking (women charting their cycles is the oldest form of calendar!). If you're interested in conceiving or not conceiving (either way) I think you have to be really proactive about recording your temperature every day, because it's still a manual-enter app.

Kindara user since 2012. I began using this app in 2012 to track cycles and pregnancies. My cycle averages 21-26 days. Even with more than ten years of data, Kindara still predicts my period as 27 days. Periodically, updates would botch up information or input options, so it was important to have regular backups. A few years ago, Kindara revoked my “grandfathered” features! THAT was almost enough for me to abandon the app. Even with all the hiccups and shady dealings, Kindara was my preferred tracker. But when it changed ownership, Kindara’s customer support became nonexistent. Through the years, Kindara has become less about female health and more about profit— not to mention its extreme decline in a responsibly managed quality product. I still use this app because it has 12 years worth of tracking data, but I would not recommend it for anyone looking for a fresh, reliable tracker/predictor— maybe if they simply wanted a NFP chart with symptoms noted, sure.

Functional and easy to read. I’ve been using Kindara off and on since back when it was a newbie startup in 2013. Kindara charts are simple to use and elegant. I've tried other charting apps, but keep coming back to Kindara for the large, easy to read charts, simple interface, many features such as custom data and OPK, and free price. Their staff is responsive. There are sometimes bugs that alter data, although they fix them after a while. The best charting app available. (I still recommend paper charting over electronic for flexibility and ease of reading notes.) There is a fair attempt to get you to buy stuff, especially since the change in management, so make a plan on how much money you want to spend on charting before using this app. Also be aware your health data is being collected; if that squicks you out, check out the Lily app or use paper.

Most helpful fertility tool!. I learned about FAM through the book “Taking Charge of Your Fertility” and after 2 years of charting on paper, switched to apps. This was the 3rd app I tried and I’m never switching! The community aspect of it has been so helpful to me! I’ve achieved 2 pregnancies while using Kindara. After my first son, we were TTC again but without success. By charting and asking questions of the community, I was able to pinpoint that my luteal phase was consistently less than 9 days and find a suggestion of a couple supplements to take to increase it. The following cycle, I got pregnant! Every woman should be empowered with the knowledge of how their body works and Kindara is a prime tool in this education process.

Cheaper and smarter than ovulation test. My friend told me about taking my temperature to conceive and I was skeptical, but after conceiving two babies now on the first try, I’m a believer! There’s no guessing, I can read all the signs my body gives me (which is liberating by the way) and I’m not spending money on ovulation test or pregnancy test. I took my temperature for about 2-3 months before trying so I had a very good idea of when I was ovulating. It takes time and patience but the outcome and excitement you feel to have that much control over your body is amazing! I’ve recommended this app to several friends already, especially those having a difficult time conceiving. The support you get from others using this app is like nothing else.

Great charting options, community, and info.. I have tracked with 4 different apps, P. Log, fertility friend, Kindara and another, some concurrently. I used p. Log when I was only tracking periods, spotting, and some symptoms but it is not friendly for temps and cervical fluid tracking. When I decided to start tracking temps and fertility I tried multiple apps at the same time the top contenders were fertility friend and Kindara but ease of use, options and the charts on Kindara were just easier to use see and adjust. I don’t use the Wink thermometer (want to but it’s expensive) but have a friend that does and she loves it, I use a standard fertility thermometer and just input the info. I love that you can add as much or as little as you want to the info you track.

Best NFP App. I have loved using Kindara. I feel like most NFP apps only let you track cervical mucus or BBT, but kindara lets you track both-and then some. The graph is awesome to look at and way easier to track than traditional paper charting, and you can add all your own custom data to track if you want additional charting. I didn’t use Wink with this app, just a BBT from the drug store. I’m sure the Bluetooth feature is nice, but the thermometer I used had a recall button so I could just input the data after I had fully woken up. Wink is not essential for you to own in order to use this app. Overall, awesome app with great data tracking and tons of internal resources! I recommend it to every woman I meet who is trying out NFP.

information is power. been using the kindara app for over 10 years to track my period. it has always been useful but I didn’t realize how valuable it was until I started thinking about having a baby. I was able to pinpoint my cycle length which helped narrow in my ovulation window. with the help of ovulation test strips I was able to confirm exact day & record it. when we were ready to conceive (3-4m later) the first time I was able to have success on our first attempt and happy to report had the same success the second time. information is power and this app helps you keep track of everything your body may be going through. highly recommend.

Take control of your health!. After being on the pill for over a decade I have been so happy with the health transformation I've experienced with the help of Kindara app and wink thermometer. I was tired of mood swings, weight gain, hormonal acne, and other sensitivities. Quitting the pill was the best decision I've ever made, my health, mood, and skin have all improved and in such a short period of time! I love that kindara works with users that are both trying to avoid pregnancy and conceive- this makes it the perfect app to take you through any phase of life. It's so easy to use and helps me to feel confident in monitoring my phases. I feel like a new, free woman! Highly recommend! **update: after using kindara to track my fertility for 9 months, I am now pregnant and can tell you the exact moment I conceived! My fertility became predictable and easy to work around or work with, depending on your goal that particular month :) can’t say enough of how much this app has empowered my personal health journey!

Excellent customer service. I love Kindara’s ability to listen to their users about the app’s issues, and for responding promptly. Last week, after an updated version was installed, to my great distress, I discovered that Kindara’s app wasn’t working properly. The data and chart didn’t sync, so that when I entered a new data, it automatically created a new cycle. That frustrated me to no end because my husband and I are on a mission to achieve our hearts’ desire of conceiving a child. So, I emailed Kindara and they responded to my email on the same day, only a few hours later, and two days later, my issues were resolved! My hope is that Kindara will continue to listen to their customers, and to respond promptly.

So far, not bad. Well, I’m supposed to be on Cycle Day 9, but Kindara, for whatever reason, has decided that I’ve started a new cycle. There doesn’t seem to be a way for me to correct that, and I’m pretty disappointed. I’ve only been using the app for about a week, but I thought the app seemed promising at first. The look takes some getting used to, what with the little spotting bubbles floating all over, and the temperature dot dipping all over the place, but I think the overall layout is good and I was looking forward to using it. However, finding out some of the content is only for paying members is a bit of a bummer; this latest snafu with starting a new cycle randomly pretty much killed Kindara for me. Edited Dec 8: Ok, so it looks like the starting a new cycle thing was a glitch that affected a lot of users. After Kindara fixed it, I received an email and figured eh, why not give them a second shot. I redownloaded and have been comparing the app with two competing products. So far, I’d say Kindara is a strong forerunner. I like the way the chart is laid out, and how simple it is to add my information. My one remaining aggravation is that it seems vaginal sensation is only available to premium members, and that seems like an odd thing to have to pay for to me. (Wow, that’s a sentence I never expected to construct....)

Great app!. I successfully used Kindara to avoid pregnancy for about 8 months, but mainly I was just trying to gather data to be sure I was ovulating, since my period was pretty irregular. I put in basal temp data religiously for 8 months, then stopped once I felt sure I was really ovulating. I didn't record any data for 5 months. Then I changed over to trying to conceive mode, and the app predicted my fertile window based on the old temp data. It was right! :D Very user friendly, much better than other similar apps. Helpful reminders that you can easily customize keep you on track. Highly recommend to anyone whether avoiding pregnancy or trying to get pregnant. Update: I used this again to track my period after it came back postpartum, and again when TTC a second time. It look longer this go-round, but I was able to use cervical mucus tracking to know peak fertility days this time. Again, very user friendly interface.

Love this app. I have learned so much about my body over the last 3 years since using Kindara! Because of this app I was able to go off of the pill and do natural birth control until we were ready to start trying (we also used condoms to be sure). I’ve also learned what’s normal and what to look out for. Their articles are incredibly helpful, especially at the beginning. I was tracking cycle, temp, vf, sex, mood religiously for a while and then found myself getting a little obsessive. So I backed off and relaxed a little. I still track but if I miss something it’s not a big deal. Now after being off birth control for almost a year we are pregnant!! The only reason I gave kindara 4 stars instead of 5 is bc my blink thermometer kept breaking and won’t close properly. I should’ve returned the second one that broke, but I got lazy and figured it would probably happen again. It still works, but doesn’t stay together and has a hard time charging. Also a word of encouragement to anyone charting, be patient with yourself. And be patient with your partner. Also, take a break and relax for a while if you find yourself thinking a lot about it or counting your data often. I’m not a dr but I do know that our bodies don’t function well when we’re stressed. Download a meditation app and an exercise app too. Those will help too. Peace and love to you on your journey to health.

Sad day. I can’t even begin to say how disappointed with the newest app updates: paid monthly subscription for full use of the app—an app I’ve been faithfully using and recommending for several years now! I bought Wink as soon as I could, and now I am expected to pay $60 a year to continue to use the “full version” of the app?!? That’s ludicrous. Not to mention, the latest app update DELETED all of my last cycle’s temps and data, and has been glitching ever since—every day is Day 1 of a new cycle. I’ve logged out/logged back into the app and the website, and I’ve re-synced Wink, all to no avail. Needless to say, I am sorely disappointed, and sad to say that I will be searching for a new fertility tracking app, in hopes that I will find something comparable to how awesome Kindara WAS. Sad that Wink will likely not work with any other tracking app. I sincerely hope that Kindara decides to make the necessary changes and app fixes to keep its loyal customers. ~Rachael

Life Changing!. Found this app when looking into more natural birth control methods b/c I believe strongly in trusting your body when it comes to your health instead of relying on pharmaceuticals including the birth control pills. This app has now successfully blessed our family with 3 littles ones & our last one is on the way. Each pregnancy came when planned & our children are all right around 2 years apart which was the goal for us when family planning. This app helps you find your normal, start to see patterns & helps you really get in tune with your body’s natural rhythm. I recommend it to everyone as it definitely empowers women to be in control of their health & not at the mercy of the supposed standard 28 day cycle that the medical field tries to generalize women to. The double checking of basal body temperature & cervical fluid has proven to be extremely accurate for me in predicting fertility & the knowledge base of this app taught me a lot! Can’t recommend this app enough!

About Premium. I love Kindara. The app is beautiful and functional. I'm TTA and was recently diagnosed with PCOS. I love that this app helps me keep track of my fertility AND helps me journal/ use toggle data that is also relevant to tracking with PCOS. Regarding the new premium subscription-- not thrilled. An on-going subscription verses a one time fee doesn't make sense for all the people who use this app to AVOID pregnancy and it kinda feels like a slight. I'm part of a community that is full of TTA people who will no longer be using Kindara (and are SERIOUSLY sad about it) because paying for an app,on subscription, that will be used endlessly and continually for a TTA person doesn't make financial sense where as someone trying to conceive finds they can pay for it for however long and then stop. See the problem? No other app comes close to Kindara in look or function (for TTA, CFH, or TTC) and no other app is as best suited for LEARNING how to use FAM (i.e. You place your own CL or mark your own peak verses an app doing it for you or trying to "predict" which isn't accurate). The new premium options are great, but weren't really necessary with unlimited custom data options. In fact, it might be a hindrance because some people feel the vaginal sensation options don't make sense. There was nothing wrong with the look before or the toggle data option. Overall, the 'upgraded' options are definitely not worth $4.99/mo.

Kindara - great for avoiding pregnancy and for conception. I have used Kindara to avoid pregnancy for about 18 months between 2013 and 2015. This is not just a charting app, it is an educational app with many resources. It is also customizable. I used it to track when I was getting migraines which helped me to see that I was getting them at the same time every month. While I used hormonal birth control between 2015 and 2017 for reasons beyond avoiding pregnancy I always knew that I had Kindara for when I wanted to get pregnant. My husband and I started trying this year. Within three months of coming off hormonal birth control we conceived. I highly recommend this app if you are someone who wants to be in tuned with her body and who wants to educate themselves on the female fertility cycle.

Some changes are not so great. Good resource overall. I understand why they want to monetize certain features and retain them for the paid version. However, it is bothersome for them to show up as a locked item in the data section and chart view. Why not simply remove them from cycles those are not active for and come up with a less obtrusive method for reminding users why they might want to upgrade. Being annoyed and frustrated doesn’t make me want to have more of something. At some point along the changes the calendar view became visually cluttered and difficult to tell what symbol is what. Also, I cannot scroll beyond a couple of months without problems. So, for instance, if I want to know when it would be 40 weeks out from the beginning of a cycle - this is a fertility tracking app after all - and I try to count weeks as I scroll through, at some point the calendar won’t accurately load the next month and then it will put me well into the future. Bothersome. Kindara could add a function to the calendar to find 40 weeks out from any given cycle start date. Even better if it would let you see the projected dates of future cycles as well.

Premium Subscription Concerns. I’ve been using this app for years, at times TTC as well as TTA. When the added functionality of further customizing the data was introduced, I was thrilled. I redid all my data fields and have been enjoying tracking all the info I find important and interesting.... I log in one day and find that half of the fields are no longer usable unless I subscribe to a monthly or yearly fee. I understand the idea and need to reserve some options in the app for paid members, BUT, for those of us who have already been utilizing the app, especially for YEARS, to suddenly just not have access to many cycles worth of data is pretty rough. I know I can review this data in past cycles but I cannot continue to track it unless I pay. Now I feel held hostage and I really loved this app. I think you should institute your changes for new downloads only, not take all your current users by surprise and demand they suddenly pay an ongoing fee for something they’ve already been using...it doesn’t make sense marketing-wise. The actual app ui is great and I can’t recommend it enough, but the way the premium subscription was implemented makes me feel unvalued as a longtime user and, honestly, pretty interested in looking for another option. Just my two cents.

Excellent App! Pregnant first month trying. Stop looking at all the other apps, this one is great. Well, I literally just found out I was pregnant today at the doctors office and the app asked me to leave a review; no better time IMO. Today I WAS SHOCKED! Excited but still in shock since I had not yet missed my period. I have been using the app to track my cycle for a few years now, never really getting too involved with the cervical mucous portion. I used it mostly to tell me when my last period was (because I swear without this app I would always say “I just had it!”) and to be extra cautious (condom and pull out) when having sex on the marked ovulation days when I was preventing pregnancy. This was the first month my husband and I decided to try to conceive and the app (perhaps after months of data) was spot on. I think the format is super easy, you can adjust the alerts, and if you forget to input info, it assumes it for you.

Don’t Give up if you are in your 40yrs!🤰🏼❤️💫. Wanted to share my Kindara chart! Hope it helps older women not to give up it will happen! I am 41 years old. I tried 2 IUI’s and two IVF’s and they both failed the two IVFs I got 6 fertilized eggs on each try after the PGS testing retrieval on both IVF’s I kept getting all abnormal eggs. My doctor decided to do natural cycle with IUI and had no injections. I took oral pills instead, clomid pills for first 10 days of my period my egg follicles were taking a while to grow and finally on the 22nd day of my cycle I had one large follicle 18size and the Doctor said I was ready for the IUI on day 24. I waited the two weeks for blood results and I got great beta numbers the first one was 240 the second was 1200 and resulted in a positive pregnancy...👍🏼👏🏻❤️ #40yearoldsCanDoittoo!! ❤️🙏🤰🏼

Buggy and no customer support. I pay the yearly premium for this app, and I love it for a long time (8.5 years), but it’s become increasingly buggy lately. Sometimes it completely freezes and you can’t scroll through your cycles. Sometimes it randomly cuts off your cycle in the middle of it and starts a whole new one with no way to fix it. I have been fighting with it all day today now - all my custom symptoms are gone and the cycle randomly stopped on day 9 and it won’t let me add new data. I have restarted the app, restarted my phone and uninstalled the app completely. Nothing works. When you click on customer support, nothing happens and the app crashes. I don’t understand how you can charge $50 a year to use this app and then have it be completely unusable with no customer support. I am going to cancel my subscription and find a different app, which is a shame after 122 cycles and 8.5 years. Fix this!!!

4/5 charting/customization is great. I have used Kindara along with two other tracking apps for many years. They all have different strengths and weaknesses and using all three guarantees my ability to keep babies away. I enjoy this app specifically for its charting layout and simplistic view. At a quick glance I can promptly determine the information I need by its movable and highly customizable layout. That’s how it earns four stars. It loses one star for its inability to predict Ovulation. I love that it places this in our hands but I would also like this to be summarized by the app. I enjoy having the ability to chart CF type, cervix height and placement, temps and CF consistency and determine the data accordingly but I would also enjoy it if the app suggested this based on the data I enter. It’s always nice to receive validation. I especially enjoy this app for its customization abilities. You can toggle categories and add emojis for quick reference. So it can be a silly as charting moon phases along with your cycle or moods, pain level, details about the consistency of fluids- it can be anything. That is another star! It looses one bc these customizations only go future tense. If I were to add these in the past, they would delete next cycle. However if they are added “today” they will continue infinitely. So I can chart things on this app that I cannot on other period and fertility apps. All together: 4/5 stars.

Amazing Customer Service. I am a doula and fertility awarness educator who has been using Kindara for over a year along with the Wink thermometer. Every time I've reached out to Kindara to ask a question or ask for help with anything, they've taken the time to thoroughly answer my questions. I feel the Kindara team are much more than app creators; they are advocates for reproductive health, and they are along the ride accompanying their app users' journeys. Recently, I ordered a Wink thermometer to be shipped to my home in Berlin, and the package unfortunately got lost in the mail and never arrived. I reached out to Kindara and asked if there was any way they could try sending another thermometer, as I love the product so much and had financially (and emotionally) invested in it. They replied that they were willing to send another thermometer to a loyal customer like me, and a new one is on its way! Absolutely increidble. Will be loyal to this company for a very long time. I've researched many apps on the market and frankly do not think any can compare to Kindara; it's what I recommend as an educator. To my mind, it's what the informed fertility awarness practitioner uses. Currently avoiding pregnancy, but in the next 10 years will be starting a family. Can't wait to chart my first pregnancy with Kindara ; ) <3

Would NOT USE if I didn’t have Wink. This app needs SERIOUS HELP. You cannot change previously set settings due to the apps inability to unglitch itself to make the change. Started off by wanting to edit the personal extra settings I had on the chart such as adding a dot on “prenatals” if I had taken them that day etc,- which it wouldn’t let me do so I had to completely delete each entry and readd it all in. Then when it came to updating my “temperature reminder” alarm, which to this day after a week of messing with it, STILL WONT UPDATE from 4:30am to 6am. Finally decided to just turn off that alarm and use the one on my iPhone. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it hoping it would fix the issue..but NOPE! Instead none of my previous data entries synced right and instead show up blank so then I had to go in and re-edit all of my personal settings again. This app is a mess. Still waiting to hear back from support. Lastly the Wink rarely syncs with my phone (iPhone 7plus with current update), causing me to have to open the Wink again in the morning, unlock my phone and have the app open for 2-5 minutes for it to get it together. Remind you this is a $150 dollar “hi-tech” thermometer. Wound up just shelling out the $50 for Fertility Friend and manually inputting the temperature results in there. Just a massive expensive headache. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Too many glitches. I can see why this app has great reviews, because the content and layout is excellent, but it is absolutely FULL of glitches, to the point where it is sometimes unusable. The cover line disappears and can’t be re-entered, peak day disappears and needs to be re-entered every day, data rearranges or vanishes when sharing a chart with the community, and I’ve turned off my reminder to temp ten times because I switched to a Fitbit alarm and it still goes off every morning. After the last update, that included “bug fixes, I wasn’t even able to open the app for an entire day, and I was afraid to re-download and lose my data. Its just not worth the premium price with all these problems. It’s such a shame, because it would be a life-changing app if it didn’t malfunction so much.

Great data input!. We are strictly TTA, from now until menopause. Love the layout & ease of data input. Everything on 1 screen is great, no waiting for something to save before being able to enter something else. The drop shapes for type of CM with 3 levels for the amount of CM—just perfect. I added 3 custom boxes, CBFM peak, high & low in that order, so as they were checked they would show up with L @ the bottom & P higher, so I have a great visual for my clear blue monitor for the Marquette Method of NFP. So glad I found this app! It should make TTA much easier to chart & so happy dh can have it on his phone, that is great...he tells me, "our phones went off, it must be time for your self-check" I like that it reminds him so he reminds me to chart & he then checks the app so he is more aware of where we are in my cycle & knows when we can be 'together' & now can see when, not to ask, 'how about tonight'-I am no longer the gate-keeper, having to always tell him no during my fertile phase!

Update to my prior review. The 2 recent updates have fixed the problems i listed below. I am still disappointed that they are going to be charging money for the full version, but relieved that they will still have a free version. Prior review: This used to be a fantastic app. I have practiced NFP for years and this allowed me to get rid of my paper charts. It was wonderful! Now it is full of bugs! Every day i enter information it starts a new cycle. I have to manually undo the new cycle every day or I get multiple one day long cycles in a row. I also have 2 custom data points. If I enter one as a positive, they both turn positive. Even if I turn the other back off manually, it still shows up as positive on my chart. Plus I understand they are going to start charging for this?!? I will not pay money for an app that doesn’t work. Please fix these issues!

Love Kindara!. So I just recently got done reading the book “Taking charge or your fertility” and decided that I would start tracking. I have never been on birth control in my life and I’m 28 years old. My friends always ask me how I do it and I just say its not that hard to be extra careful. I never wanted birth control for the fact that it has so may side effects and chemicals in it. I don’t want that in my body. Anyways so after reading the book I stumbled upon Kindara it was the first app that showed up on the app store. So I figured I’d give it a try. I was using “Clue” and “Eve” before. There both great apps the only downside is they were never accurate for me. I have very irregular periods and they always seemed to just “guess” wrong. But now I want to take control and actually see whats going on and I love Kindara’s charts there easy to read. I also recently bought the Wink it should arrive in about 2 days and I have never been so excited about a thermometer before. For whatever reason I am. I have been using Kindara for about a month now and absolutely love it. Its super simple and easy yet very appealing and pretty looking and it has great features that work for all types or womens situations. I just love it. Thanks Kindara!

New upgrades and premium/good public ruined app. I’ve been using Kindara for several years and have become especially close to about 5 or so women on the community who also have severe Endometriosis and are trying to conceive. Two of them overcame their infertility and gave birth to their healthy babies this past year, one is halfway along in her IVF pregnancy, and the rest of us have now moved on to IVF in order to have children. I love Wink and ordered one as soon as it was available-it’s incredible and saves a lot of time. I’ve noticed Kindara hired some new high-level employees last year and since then got greedy, asking users to pay to use the app (when we’ve already paid for Wink) and then playing around with the app and ability to track one’s daily data, with endless bugs and issues since around Thanksgiving of 2017 (what an inconvenient and stressful time to roll out such an overhaul guys!!!) and messing up the community (as of today it seems the app won’t let me login to connect with the other ladies I’ve become so close to over the past few years-I’m freaking out). Please, please consider fixing your customer service and revert the app back to the way it was before the 6.1 version.

Would be better with tutorials. This app is a powerful tool for actually understanding one’s body and cycles. I have used other cycle tracker apps as well but this one is by far the best for data display and the community. It takes a bit to learn how to use it, but it’s worth it - it can help with family planning, and identifying issues in your cycles that may be worth discussing with your doctor. But I do wish they kept all the auxiliary links (help, blog, etc). active and functioning. The links to “help” and info pages from the Getting Started section don’t actually exist/function. Even the App support link in the App Store doesn’t work (I wanted to report this issue). As it is, the only way people can figure out how to fully use it (without functioning how-to sections and tutorials) is by asking other women who use the app in the Community section.

Best Birth control out there. Not only have I never become pregnant unexpectedly by using this method of contraception but I have discovered so much about my body as well. The app is pretty user friendly especially with the new update. I come from a very holistic family so birth control pills were never really an option. This app has made reaching my goals in life that much easier without worrying that "could" get pregnant, now I KNOW that I would and when I WOULD NOT conceive. I have had accidents but thanks to the app I knew what my chances were and acted accordingly by taking plan b. It takes commitment and discipline but it's so worth it to live life freely with peace of mind and avoiding ruining my body with unnecessary hormones. Thanks Kindara and to all the wonderful people in our community.

Latest Software Update is a huge bummer. I have used this app for 5 years and I have loved it from the beginning. It has a complete education within it that was written in words understandable to anyone. I have learned a great deal about my cycles and I was able to easily conceive and avoid pregnancy because of it. I bought wink the second it was available and have used that for the last year now which makes my life SO MUCH EASIER. Now, they’ve gotten greedy I guess, or slipped from their original mission of trying to get the information and resources in the hands of everyone for free. Premium subscription is now the only way I can track to the extent that I was. The software update only allows 4 custom data points, none of which can be named the same as previous data points. And it reset my cycle in the middle, so my cycle day count is off. Sadly, my next baby will be conceived using a different app. Huge bummer for those of us who have been around since the beginning.

This app IS SO AMAZING!. I have PCOS, and keeping track of my symptoms was incredibly difficult before I found this app. I’ve tried other fertility trackers but this one not only has really great tools, customization preferences, and at-a-glance/super easy-to-read charts, but it connects you to a support community where other women are displaying their completed charts and sharing what they’re going through personally during their tracking. For years I used this app to help me NOT get pregnant and to track whether or not I was ovulating regularly. Now I’m married and we just conceived our first baby! :) I am just SO grateful this app was created for women like me. Thank you to the creators of Kindara and all the wonderful people behind its maintenance!! Eternally grateful :)

Best of them all. I have tried almost every period app out there over the last six or seven years... I have been using another app for over a year and with my extremely irregular cycles (40-60 days) I have never been able to get an accurate prediction date for the start of my period. I downloaded Kindara and input all of my cycle dates from my other app, and was told a predicted period start date that was over a week earlier than my other app’s predicted date. I started charting my temperature every morning, which helped me know a day ahead of time when my period was going to start. Surprisingly my period came a day after Kindara’s predicted date. That’s the closest prediction I’ve ever gotten from an app! And I was amazed that my temp dropped a whole degree the day before and the morning my period started, just like the info from Kindara says should happen when a woman is cycling normally. Overall I am extremely impressed and believe I have found my forever app!

Simple & Best Advanced Cycle Tracking. In my opinion this is the best app for advanced cycle trackers or anyone who wants to learn the best way to really understand your cycle on a deeper level — if you have read Taking Charge Of Your Fertility or you know how to manually chart BBT, this is the app for you. It makes it simple and convenient even for those who might find tracking to be tricky or tedious. I love that it also functions as a daily mood and food journal, and you can see how your cycle lines up with the lunar phases if you have the premium subscription — it’s worth the monthly $4.99. Even without premium, this app is great if you want a clearer picture of your cycle and to log data over time and be able to look back at past cycles to see an overview, trends, or comparisons. I didn’t realize how much of a data-lover I was until I tried to go without this app. I use it every day even if I’m not trying to track meticulously. The only annoyance I’ve found is that when adding symptoms, it takes you back to the main data screen after each one instead of letting you select multiple at a time. Otherwise, very useful app!

Long time user since 2015. I’ve used this app since 2015. Overall I’m satisfied. I previously charted on paper so the convenience of digital is great. There’s ability to tweak the app in how it displays fertile mucus which is helpful. I like having easy access to so many years of data. I’ve used the app both to avoid pregnancy and to achieve pregnancy. I stopped using the community years ago. It wasn’t helpful. There were people who would post charts with little or no data filled in and then ask for opinions. Not worth my time. I’ve had an ongoing glitch for a while. When I manually enter my temperature, the keyboard always closes on the first attempt. The second attempt is fine. Doesn’t matter how fast or slow I enter the temp. It does it every day—annoying. I owned the Wink thermometer for a while. It was super convenient to have my temp download automatically to the app. It was well designed. Even though I took extreme care with that expensive little thing, it broke. When I searched the internet, many people had the same experience. The company didn’t stand behind the Wink when contacted and eventually discontinued production. Overall it’s a good app.

Helped me conceive!. I can't say enough good things about Kindara. When trying to conceive my second child, I read the book Taking Charge of your Fertility by Dr. Toni Weschler (a must read) and upon deciding to start charting my BBT, I searched for an app to help me do it. I tried a couple which weren't user friendly and didn't offer what I wanted, but then I found Kindara. This was back in late 2012 and I don't think it has been all that long since they launched. Using the app from the beginning has helped so much. I was directly in touch with the wonderful women who developed this app and they integrated one of the suggestions I made. They really listen to their users and they goal of helping women really get to know their bodies to maximize their fertility has become a reality for me. I am so grateful that I have this app to use every day. It makes my life so much easier!

5 stars before Premium happened. This app is great in every way. Or, it was before this latest round of updates. I don’t understand why, when they’re in the midst of trying to get people to buy the expensive thermometer and invest in the company, they still feel the need to ask for money to use features that used to be free. Track unlimited custom data only with Premium? We’ve all been doing that all along; why does it cost money now? I have no intention of paying for a contraceptive option that should by all rights be free because it’s based sheerly on knowledge of my body, and that I believe every person with a uterus (honestly, every person on earth) should be taught as a matter of course. If this app becomes unusable when this Premium trial ends, I’m going to pen and paper, end of story. And it’ll be a shame. Because this app was really nice before.

Amazing app!. Kindara helped me make sense of the crazy effects of my birth control. I was having my period every other week for a while, sometimes with only a couple of days break. It was becoming worrying and tracking it helped me feel like I could take back control and had solid data to show a doctor. When I came off of my birth control I could see my cycles immediately go back to normal, which was very reassuring! Using the ovulation predictor my husband and I were able to get pregnant within 2 months of trying! The app is so easy to use, and the community is so supportive. I am so grateful to have used this app to finally understand my cycles and will be recommending Kindara to all of my friends!

Doing Much Better!. This is a nice cycle tracking app. I liked the prior basal body temperature thermometer that linked directly to the app; however, it has gotten pricey and since ours broke, we have not been able to cross over to the next one. It does take some time for it to sync and does shows stars to indicate possible fertile times if you choose the “get pregnant” option but it does not keep track of past ones unless you implement your own system. However, it would be nice to have this on the “do not get pregnant” option to have an additional indicator for possible ovulation times (in order that this may be avoided). Overall, it is very good to track menstrual cycles and can be used for years, with information tracked and kept through these times.

Highly recommend. I have been using Kindara for about 6 years I think to track my cycle. I recommend this app for all my girl friends when we get on the topic of menstruation, whether trying to get pregnant or avoid pregnancy. I tracked my BBT and ovulation (visually) for 4 months before we conceived our first child. The education portion of the app was SO helpful and I credit it for our son. He is turning 5 in a just 3 days and we found out today that we are having baby #2! This time around, we weren’t trying to avoid pregnancy but also weren’t really trying so shout out to God (first) and Kindara for having my fertile window right. LoL if I had been avoiding pregnancy and actually looked at the app, I could have known to adjust the sails (for the fertile window) instead of forging straight ahead. Haha but we are so thrilled! Thanks for this great app!

Awesome app for women. Kindara’s been super handy for period tracking when I’ve not been trying to get pregnant (so easy to just reference my Kindara when I get the question “when was the first day of your last period?” at doctor’s appointments), as well as for better understanding my fertility when I have been actively trying (I’m newly pregnant with the second baby that I credit Kindara with helping conceive). I love the educational articles that are connected to the app, and have learned a lot about myself and women’s health through it. I wasn’t always the most diligent with tracking data, but even still, the app was still incredibly helpful for helping me understand and pay closer attention to things like temperature shifts and cervical fluid, which was really important. I love this app!

☺️ user turned 😥. I learned how to chart using kindara almost a year ago. I loved the app then and would probably give it 5 stars at that point. I have been somewhat indifferent about the updates thus far, but the most recent 3-4 updates have been extremely glitched (each one meant to fix a previous glitch seems to create a new one). I’m extremely disappointed about kindara’s move toward paid premium features. I agree with another reviewer that this is particularly unfair to ongoing TTA-ers. Who would just have to continually pay vs a person TTC only needing the app until pregnancy is achieved. The feature I am the most disappointed that kindara is removing from the free version is unlimited custom data. Any of the other things are just kinda meh to me. I’m very strongly considering looking for a new app or even going to paper charting if I don’t find one that’s as comprehensive as kindara. But I would be incredibly sad to lose the kindara community over these things, but (I'm thinking because of a new glitch) I cant access the community right now anyway. $4.99/mo is far to steep a price for the features offered, especially considering the glitches.

Helpful Resource, Responsive App Developers. I obviously knew the basics about menstruation, ovulation, and the like before I downloaded this app, but I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know! I am engaged and getting married in May, so I really wanted to get a better understanding of how I could best prevent pregnancy naturally and develop my habits before my fiancé and I go in to this blindly. Kindara offers organized and concise articles on just about everything I needed for a usable introduction to FAM. When I don’t remember what my BBT shift is telling me or what all the acronyms even mean, I can find out in their articles (and even click on the acronyms to see what they stand for). Though my fiancé doesn’t read the articles himself, I’m sure they are concise yet detailed enough for men to understand, too. [At least I can explain the information to him myself, so that’s better than it was before! Lol.] I did have some suggestions that I sent to the developers through the app’s “request a feature” option. Lauren responded almost immediately and was so enthusiastic about my suggestions. Even if they don’t necessarily implement all of my ideas, I’ll still be happy to support the app because it’s already great like it is, and their staff is so amazing!

Best contraception and pregnancy APP!. I have been charting my cycles for a year now, and love how it shows clear temps.. I also love the journal feature, as I can dot point feelings I have and reference back to the same cycle day previously - and how I felt on that day in previous cycles is often so coincidental! I have used it successfully as contraception for one year, and now achieving pregnancy for my first baby.

Great app. I used this app for 4 months and fell pregnant after trying for a total of 10. The temp charting was a game changer for me in understanding ovulation and whether my period would come before the need for multiple pregnancy tests. That’s exactly why I did a test, my temps were still up after a negative test. Great app and I would highly recommend over others out there.

Great app to track period cycle and ovulation. I used this app to tack my periods and times of ovulation. It is simple, well laid out and the basic form of the app had everything I needed to track my cycle every month. This app helped me liaise with my specialist and keep accurate records. I thank this app for helping me on my baby journey and in getting pregnant.

Kindara helps make babies. I am now pregnant with our fourth beautiful baby and Kindara was the tool that allowed for this to happen smoothly for all four of our pregnancies. I cannot recommend using Kindara enough. All other apps and programs fall by the wayside. This is accurate and based on science. The ladies supporting me mean everything too. Thanks Kindara.

Love it!. So thorough and detailed in charting my basal temp and cervical fluid. Also provides other options to add, like mood and supplements etc. I used it once and fell pregnant on the first cycle. Of course that’s not everyone’s story, but charting your cycle really does help so many!

Update needs fix. Love this app it has been a great help and easy to use but since the update - 6.1.2 it keeps starting new cycles every time I choose custom data for the day! Ended up having to change my settings to manual cycle entry just so I could keep reversing the app creating new cycles every time. Needs a fix ASAP!!!

Empowering for women. It’s been such a wonderful journey learning about my unique body and understanding that a cycle is not always 28 days! I have used this app for a few years now to both avoid and achieve pregnancy. I was successful with both! In fact, using this app I fell pregnant at first try - twice! Using the app is easy and it’s predictive features, information centre and community board are a breath of fresh air. I would recommend it to anyone who is even so much as charting their period. It is so empowering and I think every woman should have this app 💗

Wow. I have been tracking my cycle for the last 6 months and have used Kindara as a guide, it was interesting to see my cycle as a 21-26 day average. I have just missed my period and completed two positive pregnancy tests. I will wait a week before confirming with bloods at the GP. If so this will be our third and last child and I am so grateful, excited, happy for our blessing!!

Excellent App!. This is a great app for tracking your cycles & fertility! It is easy to use, & I have used it twice now to successfully conceive & become pregnant. Prior to that I used it to avoid key days in my cycle before I was ready to become pregnant. I love that you can also customise data to track what is important to you. Highly recommend this app!

The best cycle tracking app!. I’ve tried a few cycle tracking apps and Kindara is by far the best. It is easy to use and the data is understand. The custom data you can add in premium is so worth it!

BUG IN NEW VERSION. Please fix the bug in new version. My cycle charts have gone haywire, I’m still supposed to be in one cycle but somehow when I hit Temp Shift, which normally is supposed to mark days after ovulation, it created a new cycle instead and I can’t revert it. Since then it has somehow created yet another cycle randomly so I have 2 new random cycles after what’s supposed to be the current one and I haven’t even marked my period yet (I have a very long irregular cycle due to PCOS).

Great app. Kindara really helped me understand my body and her natural cycles. I have learned so much. The app is easy to use. I recommend it to all my friends. I never really knew how to track my cycles before (lack of education about my own body). Thanks so much Kindara!

Best tool ever. Kindara's help has been paramount in our journey to get pregnant. It has been great to have accurate data to discuss with doctors and fertility professionals. After 4 years of trying (including taking medication and two surgeries to remove endometriosis and fibroids), now the dream has come true for us and sincerely wish for this to be the case for every woman trying to conceive. Thanks Kindara's team!

Brilliant app. I’ve been using several apps alongside and can say Kindara resulted in pregnancy so accuracy was bang on. Pregnancy didn’t take however Kindara was the only app to recognize the loss in app (not just an extended cycle like most the others) so I’m starting fresh now with accurate previous cycle history. Highly recommend.

Love this app. I have been charting on paper for years and have finally made the switch to using an app to chart. After reading heaps of positive reviews I chose to use Kindara and am so glad that I did, it includes all of the fertility signs to chart with and is simple and easy to use. Being able to connect with other women in the Kindara community is also a huge positive being able to share your charts, see other women’s charts and ask questions. This is my first month using Kindara and I haven’t completed the full chart yet but am past ovulation. I already love this app, it has made charting so much quicker and easier. And I was able to add info into the app from past cycles that I have charted on paper. I also got my BFP recently while using this app.

Brilliant way to track cycle. I have been using kindara for two years and it’s the most wonderful way to keep on top of your cycle! Turn off the predictors, listen to the Fertility Friday podcast and read ‘Taking charge of your fertility’ by Toni Weschler - you will be amazed at what you learn!!

I love my Kindara wink. It took months to get to me but my kindara wink bluetooth thermometer is amazing. Highly recommend it and the very functional app that comes with it. After using the app I feel positive that it helped us get our BFP! Clear tracking makes it much easier.

The best tracking app!!!. Have used it to track my ovulation regularity as well as for multiple pregnancies and diligently tracked my ovulation and entered my temperature daily. Have fallen pregnant both times on the first go. I couldn’t recommend Kindara enough!

Great app, needs updating. I’ve been charting for 1 year and this app is super handy! Love how much detail you can I put and make it personalised. Although I feel like it needs updating, many times I’ll mark something in data and it’ll disappear. Or you share a chart to the community and parts of the chart don’t show. Considering myself and many others are paying for the premium, would love to see an update please 😃

I know my body now. Thanks to using this app to track my cycle & accessing the resources, I now know exactly when I’m ovulating, which is important because I don’t have a regular period. I’ve just found out I’m pregnant after only 3 cycles of trying!

The best fertility app on the market. It may seem complicated at first but once you get used to Kindara you will love it. It is super easy to see all of your cycle data in one glance on the chart page. It’s got a great community of ladies where you can share your chart and ask questions. It’s super supportive and helpful. There are many features that other apps don’t have, like peak EWCM. It also highlights TTC words so you can quickly pick up the lingo. I’ve been TTC for 2 years and have just got my BFP. I’ve only been using Kindara for 3 months and I think this has had something to do with my BFP. The other Apps would always guess my ovulation day incorrectly meaning I would miss the opportunity !! Would highly recommend!

Great range of features and community. I find Kindara's interface intuitive, the community of users super positive and supportive and the range of advice/articles written by Kindara staff truly informative. It would be nice to manually adjust the predicted fertile days based on progesterone results and the like; as with all things fertility related don't assume you'll ovulate on day 14 with a 28 day cycle.

Simple and shows your temp on a chart. Really easy to use, one of the few apps where you can see your temps and data on a chart. This has been really useful for sharing with my acupuncturist

Helpful, clear charts & data. I used Basal Body Temp to chart my cycle and ovulation; very easy to use and see clear changes in temp. Highly recommend, I tried a few apps with different interfaces, landed on this and one other as the ones I kept using.

Fantastic, brilliant app!. Kindara is a brilliant app which allows entry of so many variables to track. I love the coloured chart. The wink thermometer is the perfect addition to the app. We were able to conceive in 3 months and I could see the exact day when my son’s life began using the chart.

Ovulation success. Kindara has been really helpful in tracking my menstrual cycle and when I’m ovulating. It’s just helped confirm where I was at, along with what I felt in my body. Easy to use, and would recommend even if your not trying to get pregnant, maybe just curious or struggle to keep track yourself.

Super easy app with great results. This app is super easy to use and allows you to track your cycles and temps with ease. The community support of other women in the same position as you is wonderful. It allows access to a network of support. I used this app for 3 months before becoming pregnant. I feel that this app helped me achieve my goal a lot sooner then just allowing it to happen.

Accurate and user friendly. I started charting with Kindara after loosing our first baby, Adam. I was charting my cycle before but I didn’t know I could chart so much more info. Kindara displays all the info in such an easy way to understand that I was able to know exactly when I ovulated this month and I just got a positive pregnancy test 😭🙏🏽❤️

Great, simple and most reliable charting app!. I’ve been using two apps at the same time, and Kindara is by far the better app. The manual charting without prediction has been amazing and so accurate, I conceived the first month using this app after using a different one for the last few months with mixed data. Thank you :)

User friendly, minimal ads. Overall great product. Provides you with invaluable knowledge about yourself whether you are TTC, looking for natural contraception or just curious. I recommend you read and learn about FAM and ideally seek guidance from professionals before relying on the data especially as a contraceptive tool as its success or failure highly depends on accurate and commitment to follow the rules.

Conception on first try. After a year of tracking just to get to know my cycle, this app taught me how to pin point my fertile window really easily and accurately. I was able to conceive on the first try because I knew exactly when I was due to ovulate. I also loved this app just for cycle charting as it allowed to to get to know my body and my flows, I highly recommend this app for both conception and just cycle awareness! It’s a game changer.

Easiest way to track fertility!. I love this app! It’s so easy to use and the knowledge base is fantastic in explaining all things fertility and tracking. Highly recommend this app for women trying to conceive, trying to avoid pregnancy or who just want to get a greater understanding of their body.

A Precious Gift. Kindara has given me the wonderful gift of conceiving! I have had a little girl and am now expecting again thanks to Kindara. I have struggled to understand my cycle due to PCOS and the app helped me to be in touch with my body as I tried to conceive, taking about 6 months with each. I also use my wink and was tracking my cycle naturally. It's an app that helps empower a woman to understand her body.

Great app. I used this app to track my cycle for four years while trying to conceive. When we started working with a fertility clinic, I was able to instantly access dates to pinpoint my cycle lengths. The app helped me to know when I eventually fell pregnant, as I realised a significant symptom change in my cycles.

Owe my pregnancy to this app. I was put onto this app a few months before my husband and I started trying and immediately gained so much more advice and experience than my doctor had cared to give me. I went from my doctor telling me they had no interest in giving me fertility advice until one year of unsuccessful trying, to gaining all sorts of advice on vitex, OPK strips and how to check temps/CM. I really followed the advice of this app and TCoYF. The community is great and so supportive for the many “false hope” months that you go through. An amazing and supportive group of women.

Helped get our 2 BCP’s. I started using Kindara 6 years ago after deciding I wanted to get off the pill. We switched over to conception mode, and we fell pregnant within 3 months. I went back to it after breastfeeding for a year to track my cycles again. They had changed a lot since having my first baby so it was helpful to learn my ‘new normal’ and it’s symptoms. 2 years after my first baby, we have conceived on the first month trying. I was sure we were successful, and the temping and symptom tracking helped assure me until I could finally test and confirm. It's a really great tool to help monitor your fertility!

Love this App. I have used this app for 4yrs now, TTC. It is easy to use with a beautiful interface and a great community support network attached. Super easy to use and understand. Have been able to completely track my cycles over several months to figure out the best time to conceive. Would highly recommend

Such a useful way of tracking your cycle. Now that I’ve had practice and understand the features well, I’m really happy with Kindara. It does take a bit of getting used to. Definitely helps you understand your body and cycles.

Good up until now. Been a good app up until now. I can no longer enter any data as my “trial” period ended… didn’t realise I was on one. If I knew from the beginning that I had to have a paying subscription to continue using this app I wouldn’t have downloaded it in the first place. Plenty of apps out there that you don’t need a subscription to just to enter your data into.

Rated Excellent by Fertility Practitioner. As a fertility practitioner, this is the app that I recommend to my clients who are interested in mapping their fertility using technology (as opposed to a paper chart). I love the changes that have been made to the app recently, in keeping with evidence-based natural fertility methods. I’d rather see cervical position tracking removed for a variety of reasons, but other than that I highly recommend this app.

The community is where it’s at. The app is straightforward and can be as detailed or simple as you want your chart to be. But the community is definitely the best part. Many a time have they confirmed or given incredible insight into what was happening in my charts. A must have for charting, beginners or experts.

So helpful. I absolutely love this app. It helped me track my period and stay not-pregnant when I wanted to be, and to get pregnant immediately when we were ready. It has everything, and is really easy to use.

Best tracking app!. Kindara certainly helped me in my journey to becoming pregnant! It was such a great tracking system and seeing it on the graph really helped! And then to be able to reach out to the community for any questions was awesome too! I still use it now to track my cycle and it's great!

Appreciation. I’d never really been taught or spent the time learning about my cycle until my early 30s when I started thinking about conception. This app has been vital in understanding and visualising my cycle, symptoms etc. Its given vital information for conception, particularly as I am blessed with a pretty consistent cycle have the historic data when we had a miscarriage to look back on and get positive about my cycles and start planning again.

Great fertility app... and now I’m pregnant!. Thanks Kindara for producing such a high quality fertility app. I honestly know things now about my own body that I didn't before, just through fertility charting and awareness, and the ease of recording it all on Kindara. We’ve been trying and I’ve been recording and tracking things for 8 cycles post-miscarriage... now I am finally pregnant again!

Community Page. I really like this App it gives you all the information you need, it would be good to be able to share photos of tests etc on the Community Page to get other members advice.

Great for purpose, community needs work. This is an excellent app for the purpose of tracking your monthly cycles. Would be great if Kindara could improve the community functionality. The people on kindara are a great support network, so why are we unable to tag them in, or be directed straight to notifications in Kindara when we open the app? We also don’t see likes on our comments or followers on our posts. I think if the community was improved, this app would be the best in market.

So informative!. I absolutely love this app for tracking things that I mostly forget that I’ve done, but ALSO for all the information I’ve learnt. Make sure you check out their information sections- it was a game changer for me!

Brilliant Tracking App. This app provides the best functionality for an app that doesn’t require you to spend anything to track what you need. I love the custom options so you can also track additional things as needed

Best app of its kind. I downloaded several apps to track my cycle but Kindara was the only one that I stuck with. It’s very easy to enter your data and then see all of your data and predictions in a chart. There is a community where you can post for advice or guidance, share your story and read others stories. This is all free too. I think there is an option to upgrade to a premium subscription but all of the features I needed where included in the free version. I love this app and will continue to use it.

Easy to use and complete. It's easy to track everything in this app. All of the features were very helpful in my case. I was able to track spotting between ovulation and menstruation, which allowed me to discuss it with my doctor and establish I likely had low progesterone. I was able to troubleshoot and fix it and got pregnant in a few months.

Love Kindara!. It only took one cycle to understand my cycle and my body, making conception so much easier to track.

Easy to use. Easy to customize and share with healthcare providers! I really like the chart.

No more support. This used to be one of the best tracking apps giving me the most accurate period predictions. I have been using it for more than 4 years. However, for multiple months now the app has not been working properly or showing the next cycle accurately. The link to the app support is not working and the blog and news seem to have been deactivated. Overall it seems the app is no longer maintained at which point I am not willing to pay a monthly subscription for an app that has become unusable.

Great app!!. Amazed this app is free considering how useful it is. I love getting to know my cycles better and the community support is phenomenal! The only thing I'd like to see change is the notifications. It'd be nice to have an 'activity' section to keep track of comments and followers on your charts ect

So helpful. This app was recommended to me years ago from my Naturopathic Doctor. It’s so helpful and easy to use to track my cycle and pregnancies. I never remember dates and even if I forget to log something the dates suggested for my cycle and ovulation has been pretty accurate as I’ve been tracking for so long. I can’t count ho many times I’ve opened the app during an appt to answer an doctors questions!

Nothing works! Help!. I’m writing here because nothing seems to work. I’ve tried following your helpdesk link and it just won’t open. The app freezes upon loading. I’ve tried logging off and on, desinstalling, nothing makes it work. It had been working only a few days ago, maybe an os update?

Love this app!. Easy to use, very comprehensive, and an awesome community :)

Best!. Love this up. Used it twice to track my period in order to get pregnant, is very accurate and easy to use 👍

Great Resource. I started using this app to learn more about my body and track my ovulation to TTC. I started using in January, and got a BFP in March. I love the community aspect of the app, allows people in the same boat to lean on each other and support.

Used three apps. This app was great, but this one was off compared to Clue, with normal tracking on all apps.

Life changing!. Sooo easy to use! There is an great info data base that teaches you how to use the app properly and incorporate it into your everyday life as well as it taught me a few things I didn't even know about why body does certain things. It changed my life. Wether you use it to prevent pregnancy like me or to get pregnant, its for everyone! I took control of my body and my life!

Great Tracker. Used this app to track menstrual cycle and ovulation, including heaviness and cervical mucus. Found it to be very accurate and would highly recommend. Am currently pregnant and will be using it throughout the pregnancy for tracking purposes.

Great tracking app!. Even the free version has options to customize symptoms and other items you may want to track. Just used with regular thermometer.

Review. Kindara has been helpful in tracking my cycles & everything that goes along with it!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD SCAM SCAM. The company shut down and they block you from your account and continue to charge your account with no way of contacting them. All contacts go to auto email and voicemail and no one gets back to you. They are just stealing money from premium subscribers. website and app don’t even work anymore please STAY AWAY!!

Great app!!. Simple and user friendly

Very helpful. User friendly, all the data I wanted to track was included.

Best app!. Love the chart and visual representation of all the data, very easy to track and review

Great app. User friendly. Simple. Great app. User friendly. Simple

Highly recommend!!. This app has become my lifeline through a long, draining journey of pregnancy losses and fertility issues. The support from the community on here is incredible - I have learned so much and we all laugh and cry for each other. The app is very helpful with tons of options of things you can track through your cycle, comparing cycles etc.

Doesn’t let you cancel premium subscription. I enjoyed using this app while I had it but when I went to cancel the subscription it’s still charging me, 10 months after deleting everything and I’ve sent them 6 emails and several phone calls and they don’t respond to anything and I still continue to get charged every month.

Helpful app. Easy to use and very helpful

Thank you!!!. Thank you for helping me chart and track my cycles. This is my 4th time getting pregnant using Kindara! 💕

Easy to use app. Very versatile, user friendly, quick to enter data, no disrupting adds.

Amazing, perfect. I just wish they would ever reply to support emails! I think the app was sold, and now no one tends to the community section. If it ever goes down, I’ll be gutted. These women have been an immense support through years of infertility.

Positive. Good app to track your fertility

Best tracking app I’ve found. Easy to use and can add in any symptom etc you want. Thanks!

Excellent app. Very helpful and it was nice having the community to share results with.

Period tracker that loses data. First they lost seven years of my data when they created the premium version. Now the most recent period data disappears every month and I have to guess when my last period started… so, what’s the point of this period tracker, exactly? I might be PMSing right now, but I don’t know for sure cause…

Easy and helpful. Very user friendly and easy to see all your data in one chart

Not User Friendly. After reading reviews I gave this a try… not sure why people think this is a nice app or user friendly. It reminds me of a complicated inventory system (I’ve worked with a few of those). Sure, you can track temperature and all that stuff, but the graphics are awful and not easy to view at all. The need to have charts easily accessible and BBT easy to be seen and tracked. Even the main calendar of the app isnt good. Trying a different app that has so far been way easier to just use at a glance.

Love chatting on Kindara. Super easy even for beginners to use. You can track ovulation tests, cervical mucus, BBT and other symptoms all for free.

Love this app!. I really enjoy using this app! So far it has been pretty accurate of my cycle. I would recommend this app to anyone trying to conceive and even if not. It shows days you are safe or days your fertile to try! Two thumbs up!

Best tracking app!. This app has helped successful conceive three times! I highly recommend!

Love this app. My naturopathic doctor told me about Kindara and I’ve been using it since I got off of my iud to track my periods and everything to do with female health.

Easy to use and really accurate!. Found this extremely helpful for tracking my cycle when coming off birth control and trying to conceive. The predictability of the app is really good. It took 14 cycles but got my positive last night! Thanks for helping along the way Kindara.

Patience, my dears. We used the ClearBlue ovulation strips and the Kindara app to track my cycle and plan for a baby. We are pregnant and being patient as it’s still very early days.

Love this app. I have used this app for a few years and it has successfully helped me plan multiple pregnancies. I just found out last night that I am pregnant again ❤️

Awesome. I love this app! I've been tracking my fertility for 6 years and 3 have been with this app. Easy to use, clear, accurate! Thank you!!

I’ve had this app for 127 Periods. Enough said.

Fav app to track period. Have been using it for years!!

Great Tracking App. I have tried quite a few different tracking apps and by nature they are a little clunky due to the many different things they need to manage, but this one is better than most.

Great tracking app!. No ads. Very clear and simple. Keep up the great work Kindara team!

Great app. App works great for tracking your menstrual cycle.

Deleted over a year ago and still charging me. I had a premium subscription, and tried to cancel. Over a year after deleting the app I am still getting charged for a renewed subscription - this company doesn’t update social media, their website, or the app anymore- I switched to a better app that actually maintains their product for exactly this reason. Ridiculous- do not purchase

Great app. Have been using this app for several years and it’s been wonderful to keep track of my periods. I like how easy it is to use and that there are many options for inputting information. Highly recommend!

Pretty good. I only need to use the app for when my period comes and length of cycles- works great for those things!

Helpful!. I really enjoyed using this app. Other apps I tried had a lot steps, notifications and confusing options. I found Kindara straightforward and very informative. I used this app to get pregnant and as birth control in between my pregnancies. Highly recommend!

More customization please. There is so much I enjoy and rely on with this app but there are a couple things that really detract from it being user friendly. I would love to be able to add custom fields in both symptoms and medication/supplements. For example I’d like to be able to record when my endo causes me to have shooting leg pains or when I need to take prescribe anti-inflammatories. Please add these customization features for folks with more complex cycle health.

Life-changing. Seriously!. If you have a vagina, you should have this app. I've been using Kindara religiously for a little over three years after literally wasting away thanks to hormonal birth control. After suffering from hair loss, getting discoid lupus and splotchy melasma all over my face because of the hormones, fertility awareness was my last hope. Kindara kept me on track from day one. It has taught me so much about my body and maintains a great community online to help you decipher the meaning of your charts if you need help. Thanks to the Kindara team, I've experienced a 180 degree turn for the better regarding my sexual health. Most importantly, so far, I have never had a pregnancy scare!! Charting your temperature and other factors might seem intimidating at first-I almost ruled this out- but you owe it to yourself to give it a try. Kindara will be there at every step to help you. This app makes me confident in my charting and my ability to make informed decisions about my body. Thanks Kindara! 😊

Easy to Use. So this app does everything I need it to. I especially like the custom data feature, which I use to record whether I’ve taken my daily supplements or not, and the symptoms section, though I wish you could type in symptoms that aren’t on their list. The chart section is easy to look at and understand. My only issue with the app that hasn’t been fixed with updates, is that when I enter any data, either bbt, sexual activity, or my custom data, then go to the chart to look at it, whatever I entered automatically gets deleted and I have to go back in and re-enter it for it to stay.

Get to Know Your Cycles!. I love using Kindara. I tried Glow before Kindara and while I liked the analytics, I just like the UI and community better on Kindara. I shut off period & ovulation predictions to simply track my cycles as they came. I learned when I typically ovulate, how long my luteal phases are which is important for TTC and noticed trends that I could bring up with my OB to determine if it made sense to do progesterone testing. Positive pregnancy test after 5 cycles using Kindara (using OPKS, BBT) The premium has some nice features for extensive tracking which I liked for the first few months but recently went back to see how I like the standard subscription. I like both!

Tennessee girl. I love this app. It is easy to use and I can put a lot of details in to help me figure out where I am in my cycle. It helps me to predict when a possible mood swing might occur so that I can rest up and make it as smooth as possible.. If you are looking to understand your body more as a woman, you will love this app. And if you’re like me, you’ll look at your fascinating body chart constantly to see what’s going on. Basically, this app is worth any woman’s time. After being suspicious that I was pregnant for about ten days I took a pregnancy test and it is positive! Guys.. Get Kindara. It’s so fun to watch the charts..

Very Good app for NFP. I have been using this app to track my period for years and about a half a year for NFP with my new husband. It offers awesome features, and (albeit kinda pricy) super cool bluetooth-synching thermometer that i love and makes tracking my basil body temp that much more easy. They're helpful articles are also a plus, though i would definitely attend a local class or read one of the many online free guides to NFP before applying it. If you want to have full knowledge, control, and confidence in your body, and to regulate your relationship in a completely natural, no barriers or conflicting chemicals way, this app can help you toward the best foundation for you and your husband. 👍

Amazing way to learn about your cycle!. I am so thankful for this app! Without it, I would have been trying to conceive at the wrong time. All you need is a thermometer. The app saves your charts, which was an amazing feature to bring to my doctor to show my history. I have been using this app for 8 months and started trying to conceive 2 months ago. Another amazing part to Kindara is the community. You can post questions and your chart ti a community board and many women will comment and try and help answer questions. I definitely recommend this app if you are trying to learn more about your cycle.

Only FAM/Period app you’ll ever need. If you’re using Fertility Awareness Method, this is the only app you’ll ever need. I’ve been using Kindara for years now and still love it. It has everything I need to keep track of my cycle and has been a key part of my success with FAM. It’s simple to use yet super customizable. The interface is very clean and not cluttered. I love the visual charts because I can it makes it really easy to see my temperature trends. The support and education within the app are great too, especially for those who have questions about FAM. Even if you’re not using FAM, it’s a great tool for monitoring your cycle in general.

SUCH a helpful app!!!. The easy-to-use format for entering your temperature, menstrual status, and cervical fluid is liberating and amazing. I pre-ordered and just finally received Kindara's Bluetooth thermometer, "Wink". Can't wait to start using it and be done with dead batteries!! Kindara's knowledge base is amazing. Huge amount of helpful, clear, friendly ways to learn and interact. Courtney, (creator of/high level with.?) the app is constantly replying to people's questions. Articles are posted answering any and every question in multiple ways and are enlightening. I have learned more in the 12 cycles I've had with this app than in my whole life!

Daily user. I’ve been using this app since I got married. At first I was using it just to track and for natural birth control. Now we are trying for our first little one and the extra info you can get from charting really helps give something solid to look at in a process that is so frustratingly out of your control. The community is so helpful and supportive it’s like having an extended family in your pocket that doesn’t mind you talking about your CM! I love this app. My only complaint is that the community restrictions make it so you can’t repost the same chart, which can get frustrating when you have different questions at different stages in your cycle.

Great app! Horrible update.. I have been using this app for over a year now, and have loved how easy it is to chart my cycles and practice a more natural approach to family planning. :) The past few days, though, I've been on my period and every time I entered my menstrual flow in my data for the day, the “custom data” option disappears and it automatically sets it to a new cycle. I’ve found it in settings where I can manually tell the app when my cycle starts, and yet it automatically selects that every time I enter my menstrual flow. Once I deselect “new cycle” the “custom data” reappears. It is super frustrating having to do that every day I’ve entered data, and it’s not showing the appropriate information even on my chart tab. I hope this gets fixed soon!

Easy to use. I have used this app for two successful pregnancies. From my own experiences and from reading the forum, here are my take aways: 1. Consistently take your temp every morning before getting out of bed. Doing this for a couple of months before you get pregnant will help you see patterns/ trends. 2. Sometimes your temp dips before ovulation, but you know you have ovulated once you have 3 temps that are higher than the previous 6. (For me, I always went from temps in the 97 range to the 98 range.) 3. Using ovulation strips with temps is really helpful. You ovulated 24-48 hrs after first positive ovulation strip, so know your window. Good luck!

Very accurate. I had great results with this app, as long as you know how long your average cycle is, you can start off right away with an accurate calendar, if you aren’t sure, don’t worry, you can just figure it out by having 3 months of periods and the app will do the work. Obviously the app will keep track anyway but it might not be completely accurate if you don’t know how many days your normal cycle is. I’ve been using the app for only a few months, initially to avoid getting pregnant until a certain month and then to get pregnant. Now I’m starting the pregnancy calendar. Good luck !!

I've tried a few, but this ones the best. Easy to use and actually kind of fun, plus it connects with the Wink thermometer that is super easy and cool. Use it to just learn about your body or as a natural birth control method. It's a great fertility awareness app too if you're looking to conceive. Connects with a community of users so if you need help or have a question, other women share their knowledge and experience with you. I've been using it for several months now and My husband and I like it way better than my IUD. Update: I've used this app for over a year as "birth control" and didn't become pregnant until I chose to. Still love the app

Helpful tracker. I’ve used Kindara for almost two years, first to avoid pregnancy and recently with the goal of achieving pregnancy. The app is very easy to use and track results. I also have started tracking diet and symptoms and it’s been helpful staying more in touch with how my body responds to my lifestyle choices. One warning is many people in the community start using the app thinking its magic. You need to educate yourself first to be successful with this approach. I highly recommend reading Taking Charge of your Fertility so you can truly understand your cycle and interpret your charts correctly.

Helpful -post miscarriage. I only used Kindara the moth we started to conceive. It was great for trying to catch my fertile window and gauge when I ovulated. The chart is helpful specially when connecting with other women. Big wishes to all those trying to conceive! Second time: I used the app for tracking my cycle post miscarriage and for my cycle after my miscarriage to try and conceive. Everyone on the app is so much help and taking your BBT is extremely crucial to noting your ovulation and helping track your body’s rhythm. I feel like this app helped me conceive for the second time and understand the patterns of my body. Thank you!

Bad update. I’ve been using Kindara for over a year now. Worst update was yesterday. I wish I never updated and now I can’t go back. Every time I go into Kindara or select a custom item to chart it starts a new cycle. I also DON’T agree with the fact that Kindara is now CHARGING for unlimited custom options.... that is something that’s always been free. I can see implementing a charge for NEW features like sensation tracking and whatever else they decide to do... but to charge us monthly or yearly for something that we have always had access to PRIOR to this “new” update... that just isn’t right. Sorry. Don’t agree with it. And I know I’m not the only one that is upset about this. Custom slots should be kept as a free feature. Wouldn’t mind paying for something that was NEW.. but something all of the users have had access to for years?? Really?

Great app for tracking cycles. I used this app after my youngest was born to avoid pregnancy without hormonal birth control. With a little practice, it becomes 2nd nature to track your cycle, and it’s empowering to better understand your body and how it works and to feel in control of your fertility. My youngest is now 5, and we decided we wanted one more, and because I had been tracking my cycle on Kindara. I knew when I was most fertile, and we got pregnant right away. So it worked great for us for avoiding pregnancy for 5 years and then getting pregnant quickly when we wanted to.

Flexible and Helpful. I have used Kindara for years, both when I was trying to get pregnant and then later just to track my cycles. I can easily see a lot of information all at once and I have even added a couple data points onto my chart so I can track how my headaches line up with my cycle. Having so much information at my fingertips in an easy-to-read format has even helped me see irregularities associated with my health. I shared the info with my doctor and it aided him in correctly diagnosing a health problem. I think every menstruating woman can benefit from tracking her cycle with Kindara!

Pretty good app, I think.. I’m not sure if the app helped me in monitoring my CM to help us conceive, I was disappointed that for a full NFP experience I would have had to pay. For example, cervical position is an upgraded option which was very frustrating. Additionally, cervical position should have options such as high, med, low; firm and soft in addition to a note section. But I did like that each CM had multiple variations of how much CM there was. I have PCOS so getting pregnant this time around was hard for me and my body was giving me very weird signals so I can’t blame the app for it. I also like that it actually had progesterone as a medication. The Clue app did not have that option.

LOVE it but they took out free features 😕. I use this app every single day, and have not considered upgrading to premium because 1) it’s way too expensive, and 2) I just don’t have that many things with chart. BUT previously the free version had some features that were REALLY helpful, especially the three levels on the symptoms portion. Now they only have toggle. I am not going to pay just for that feature, but I considered changing apps just because of this. That feature of “low, moderate, high” was crucial for tracking my symptoms. Now I have to toggle it ON and then write the intensity of the symptom on notes- not the most effective. :(

This is a fun charting system. This app is easy to look at and compare to your old cycles, it keeps track in every way I would imagine it needed too but isn't overdoing it at all. The only thing I wish this app had was a place to add cramps. It was a real part of charting my body with all 3 of my pregnancies and of course periods. Cramps are a major part of tracking what your body is doing or preparing for. Cramps are also part of ovulation as well, I note them at the bottom but sometimes I wish they would show up on the chart. Maybe I haven't bought the full app yet and it covers cramps, but I thought I had.

Kindara Thermometer and App. The Kindara Thermometer and App are easy to use and convenient. When I was manually taking my BMT to try to conceive my first child, I was skeptical of my accuracy because I would be half asleep trying to log data. This problem is gone with Kindara as the Thermometer accurately logs temps to the app over WiFi. We were able to conceive a second time, much more quickly than with our first child. I also enjoy the Kindara community tab. I was able to connect with other women who were also trying to conceive. It made the journey more positive, knowing about this community support system.

From avoiding pregnancy to pregnant. I started using Kindara 4 years ago & it was a scary transition from birth control to getting to know and trust my body. But with this app I did get to know my body and avoid pregnancy for the 4 years. When we switched to trying to get pregnant there was still a little nagging mistrust, “maybe we didn’t get pregnant because we can’t and not because this is a safe method.” But that was so wrong as we got pregnant in our third month of trying and thanks to my better knowledge of my body I knew pretty early that we were! I cannot recommendation this app highly enough. I wish every woman would use it and get to know her body and cycles. Thank you kindara!!

Perfect app. “Thank you, Kindera app, for being an invaluable tool on my path to conception. Your ovulation tracking features provided me with accurate and easy-to-understand information, helping me better understand my fertility window. The app’s user-friendly interface and helpful reminders made it effortless to stay on top of my cycle. With the assistance of Kindera, I was able to successfully achieve my goal of becoming pregnant. I highly recommend this app to anyone trying to conceive, as it offers a wealth of knowledge and support. Thank you, Kindera, for being a part of my pregnancy journey!”

Amazing, Supportive App. I joined Kindara in September 2017 as my husband and I started to try for a baby. I purchased Wink and absolutely love how easily it syncs with the app and how discreet it is! Any issues I had with it were resolved quickly by a great customer service. I love how easy to read the charts are and all the information in the app. And the community section has been a God-send. The women there are so supportive, understanding, and positive— it has been wonderful to have such great cheerleaders through this difficult process. I finally received a positive test today and I am thankful to Kindara for being such a big part of my journey! Highly recommended!

2 babies strong. I’ve used this app for five years. Five years! My husband and I do not use any contraceptives after I had several complications with them over a decade of previous use. I used this app first as a way to predict ovulation to avoid pregnancy. And then as a way to predict ovulation get pregnant. With both of my pregnancies I was able track my expected ovulation and achieve conception! It’s been a real game changer for my mental health as well to know when I’m feeling a little up or down and where I’m at in my cycle. Highly recommend for any woman wether you’re trying to avoid pregnancy, get pregnant, or just want more information. Knowledge is power!

Good, but frustrated.. This app has been a blessing. I understand my cycles more than I ever thought I would. I’ve been using this app for a little over a year. The Kindara team has made some great improvements to the app, but with those improvements, the app is now riddled with bugs. They continue to provide updated versions, but nothing seems to resolve the bugs. I wish they would go back to a more simple format. I’ve reached out to them about the issues and they’ve said they’re trying to fix the bugs, but I’ve been having issues now for two months and these two months have been the most important to track, my IVF and FET cycles. Also, the fact that I can’t create updated data categories each month is silly. From what I’ve heard, they only allow this now with their paid version, which is stupid expensive. Disappointed and frustrated.

Satisfied. Two years ago I decided I wanted to go off the birth control pill and do family planning. However, my husband and I still didn’t want to have kids yet, so I was unsure how well family planning would work for us. I’m super glad I found and chose to use Kindara. We were able to successfully plan around my cycles to avoid pregnancy until we were ready. Two successful years of tracking and the one cycle we decided to not use protection, we got pregnant and now know the details necessary to move forward. If you are diligent with temperatures and tracking CF - it is a very useful and effective tool!

Nickel and diming you. I've been using this app for charting for a few weeks now and it's been going great. I've been using all of the features to track where I am in my cycle and all of them are indispensable to charting fertility. However today I went to chart only to find out they changed the sensation feature to only be included with the upgrade which is ridiculous. I'm going through NFP classes and training right now and one of the requirements is that I track sensation. Now I have to find other ways of charting other than the app because they think that one aspect of fertility (none of the others) is important enough to charge $50 a year which I will not be paying and do not see any need for this expense. It's really unfortunate because they are going to lose a lot of users over this arbitrary change to get money out of women who just want to chart their cycles naturally.

Kindara friend. I love using Kindara! It helps me keep track of my fertility and is easy to use. I love all of the new features and like how you can program the app so it can be personalized to the fertility terms I use. I would love to see my customized data be tracked in the top screen instead of the pre-programmed data. I've been practicing NFP for the last 10 years and the terms I use are different than watery, creamy, etc. it would be nice to have the Option to use the customized data as the main tracking screen instead of having to scroll down to read my customized chart. Hopefully Kindara can make this an option in the the future!

Updated fixed the app. Updated 11/28 The app was fixed. I already found a different app but will keep using both to see which one I prefer. I am using this app for a long time and I was happy with it. I even bought the Wink. Then they started inviting us to invest and rolled out paid features. Why do I have to pay for something which was free for so long and after investing in Wink? This update messed everything up - every day (or almost every day) the app starts new cycle (just when I really want to see the change in the temperature), custom list disappeared. I am seriously considering changing the app and I am just angry that I’ll be left with a very expensive thermometer.

VERY RELIABLE. I’m literally the last in my family to conceive and I been wanting my own for a while now read a review on this app two months ago and started using it and I just found out IM 7 WEEKS pregnant im so excited and happy that it worked for me I finally have my own little bundle of joy to call my own and not just my niece or nephew lol so If you’re like me and want to start a family. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP ! Do the math I downloaded the app 2 months ago and now I’m 7 weeks pregnant ! I LITERALLY GOT PREGNANT A WEEK AFTER INSTALLING BY FOLLOWING THE TIMELINE ITS A MUST you download this app because for ONE I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS AND TWO IT REALLY WORKS ! thank you so much to the team at Kindara for helping me get preggoooo WOOHOOO FIRST TIME MOMMY HEREEEE

Makes it so easy to track!. I never paid much attention before to when my monthly cycle was. I began using this when l went off of birth control so l had an idea of when my period was coming. It helped me figure out how far apart my cycles were and the symptoms that signaled it coming (eating like a beast the week before, and cramping in the few hours before, etc) I did that for two years and more recently began using the app to track for conception, marking the days you have unprotected sex. I didn’t get much of a chance to use it for that purpose though as we became pregnant right away. Now l will use it to track my pregnancy! Great app and so glad l started using it!

Constant glitching and problems. I really wanted this app to work out for me because I love the idea of being able to update my chart throughout the day on my phone and the layout and everything is so simple and beautiful. But I can’t get past all of the glitches and data problems. They fixed the glitch that caused my data to copy over to the next day, only to replace it with a glitch that makes it unable for me to mark peak day and for my charts to be unable to save. When I try to view my chart on the website it isn’t complete and hasn’t updated in weeks. I’m afraid to delete and download the app again in fear of losing my current chart. I can no longer rely on this app to keep my data stored and I will be searching for something else.

Successfully avoided and achieved pregnant with this app. Best app for tracking your cycle. Has multiple metrics based on what you like to track (CM, BBT, LH...). Used it for a few months to get used to the fertility awareness method and then used it for almost 2 years to successfully avoid pregnancy naturally based on my CM and BBT. On our second cycle of not avoiding anymore, got a positive pregnancy test! Great for any woman who wants to get in tune with her cycle and body and bring her partner into the conversation. Also great articles on the Kindara website that were helpful (that I also would send to my husband). PS I am a physician assistant and NFP is a proven method of contraception if done correctly and if you have regular cycles!

My all-time FAVORITE app!!!. LOVE THIS APP!!! There is an abundance of helpful information in the knowledge base that will help you learn how to avoid pregnancy naturally and also when the best time in your cycle is to try to conceive. Following the "rules" that we learned here helped my husband and I to avoid pregnancy until we were ready to add to our family, and (though not everyone's story) we became pregnant the first cycle we tried!!! Also LOVE the basal body thermometer (called Wink) that is recommended here, and the community of women you get to encourage and be encouraged by through Kindara is WONDERFUL. You can't go wrong with this app- just gotta take the time to learn how your body works. :)))

Brilliant app!. So I started using Wink and Kindara about 8 cycles ago to try to avoid pregnancy in a natural method. It took some getting used to but I loved learning about my body and Knowing when I was most fertile. Until the last month my and husband and I decided to try to conceive. It only took us 2 cycles! The first cycle I know we didn’t have enough sex in my fertile window. The community is also very helpful. Battery lasts forever which I loved. Overall I’m extremely pleased with Kindara and Wink. It truly did what it was supposed to do. I’m super excited to let my hubby know I’m pregnant. Literally waiting for him.

Fix the data bugs and your Support links. I do not have a premium account, I use Kindara solely as a cycle tracker and that’s it. I have really enjoyed using it for several years now but lately, the cycle tracker is no longer working. Ex: I entered the date of my last cycle, which was within the last 30 days, but the info at the top says I’m on day 56. Nope. And this isn’t the first month I’ve had this happen since last year. I’m not sure if this is an iOS 15 thing but there are issues. Also, the support link is broken, and you can’t go to the website from a browser and click on it, either. Is anyone there?

Got charged even though I deleted my account. Newest update: I deleted my account a week ago and today they charged my iTunes account anyway. First review: I like the features, especially on the paid app. But the app has started refreshing too quickly. I have to enter the time at least two times. I couldn’t even write comments without rewriting just now. I will seriously consider another app if this continues. Updated: the refresh feature got mildly better or maybe I knew to wait longer. I’m updating because I deleted my account. I just wanted to cancel Premium, but I couldn’t find how to do that. I’m going back to my free app or I will use a calendar to chart how my body responds during a cycle. Kindara is pretty but it’s not worth the money for me. Plus, if I write words to describe something, those words don’t get exported.

Easy and useful. I have been using Kindara for nearly two years now. It was recommended by a few of our married friends who were attempting to get pregnant and so while we were not yet ready to pursue pregnancy, knowledge is power as they say. It has been terribly accurate and has given me lots of easy to access information and patterns to consider as my husband and I now step Into the “no longer hindering” category of pregnancy. You Can use as much or as little of it as you like, but either way it is never a bad idea to know more about your body.

Awesome app for tracking just about everything. I got Kindara to track my cycles and it has everything! Totally customizable symptoms and ability to see your data trends in a clear way. I have made a lot of friends on the community although this function of the app needs major improvements. The charts with a lot of comments refresh constantly in the middle of typing a new comment. The chart blanks out when I scroll down and then up again. The app refreshes way too much. I’ve also never had a cover line though I get one on fertility friend. Not sure what this is about! So overall great app, but I’m excited to hear about future changes. I’d love a “friend” feature and a news feed of friend updates. Clicking to each chart to check for updates is a pain.

Fertility is not a disease!!. Never have I felt so in tune with my body. Being new to charting, Kindara has been an excellent resource for me. All of my information stored neatly and conveniently in one spot. The community is super supportive and offers tons of links for questions and learning. After 12 yrs on hormonal birth control I am now 7 months clean :D I feel like I have been liberated! I don't think I would have had the confidence to get ditch the pill if there wasn't an excellent app like Kindara. I've been telling all my gal pals about it. Hope this review will inspire someone to explore all that Kindara has to offer. **update still loving Kindara! I have been successfully avoiding pregnancy for almost 3 years now. :) bye big pharm!

Great app, some design flaws. This app is great - love all the things you can track and the app is overall intuitive and user-friendly. Some less user-friendly pieces are the more cervical fluid you log on he home page, the lower the bar depicting it is in the chart view, which is counter-intuitive. The colors of the cf types in chart view are too similar in my opinion. The rolling system of entering temp was also more user-friendly, as you have to hunt and peck, and if you hit the wrong number....overall just feels like the number entry design takes more time/effort than the rolling design. Still, overall a great app

Glitchy and Community Keyword Search is Useless. I’m finding that the Wink thermometer is the only reason to use this app. The fact that it syncs perfectly to record BBT is so convenient. Beyond the thermometer, I find this app to be glitchy, as some of the personalized tracking items I entered in a previous cycle don’t carry over to newer cycles. I’ve reported this issue to the developers. Another issue I inquired about is the keyword search function in the community. Rather than highlight your keyword in the search results, you have to read through hundreds of comments to find it. There doesn’t seem to be any plans to improve the search function based on the response from the developers. One last thing about the app that is annoying is that you can’t enter your peak day unless you record CM. That doesn’t seem right.

Dependable, Accurate, Empowering. Update: Kindara strengthened my suspicions that I was pregnant before I tested positive. I ovulated early, didn’t get my period at the earlier time Kindara estimated for (almost always accurate to the day in the past), waited for a full normal cycle of 28 days for my period while watching my temperatures present a triphasic pattern. (Along with growing physical symptoms.) I was scared to test but I finally did and I laughed and cried! ~ I tracked my cycle on my calendar as a girl up until I purchased my first smart phone as a teen. I tried different tracking apps before settling with Kindara. I appreciate the attractive and understandable layout, the menstruation estimator (very accurate for me) and all the fertility tracking options such as cervical fluid and position. It is empowering to visualize my monthly cycles - to see two distinct phases, to understand possible hormonal imbalances due to rocky charts (my ovarian cyst acts up some months) and to see the information in a graph format. I highly recommend. Female bodies hold the beautiful key to life, and I think as many women as possible should know what’s going on inside.

Highly recommend. Every woman’s cycle is different. Chart your personal data for real results, do not depend on predicted ovulation apps, they are totally incorrect. The free version will let you track your bbt, OPK test, and symptoms which are the main analytics you’ll need for pregnancy. I do wish they added OPK AM + OPK PM for those who prefer to test in the morning and night. This of course can be added in the paid version, but it would be helpful to have included with the free version. Nonetheless, I’m very thankful I found this app, very simple, efficient, and to the point. If you enjoy data analytics, this app is for you!

Helpful tool, appreciate it is always improving. Kindara is helpful tool that makes following the fertility awareness method really easy whether someone is looking to prevent pregnancy or is trying to conceive. I appreciate how the app is always being improved. The ability to reach out to community in the app and ask questions and support is helpful. The knowledge base is also a great resource when I want to understand tracking better (though the knowledge base is not fully intuitive to search through and a little maze like). My only other minor criticisms are: the clunkiness of how the temperature is entered and how the cover-line is not calibrated to be able to draw to a specific temperature. Overall, an app I recommend to friends.

Best fertility awareness app in years. I’ve been tracking my cycles for 13 years now using the Fertility Awareness Method (FAM) in the book by specialist Toni Weschler, cross-referenced by many doctors. This app is the best one for me to easily track my windows of fertility & infertility to avoid pregnancy and accurately predict periods. This app allows me to enter more fertility indicator signals than any other, & it’s customizable. I recommend using this app with Toni’s book to get the full benefits of it. Works perfectly for those trying to avoid pregnancy naturally without hormones AND also for those trying to conceive.

Love, love, love this app. I've been using this app for about 2 years. Originally, being very consistent with imputing as much data as possible. The community feature, and other's charts for comparison and insight on my own chart, are a great benefit and were very helpful for a first time charter. Since I first started using this app, I've learned so much! It's a very helpful tool in reading your bodies signs to determine the best days to conceive, especially after finding out that we had some medical factors playing a role in our fertility. Continuing to chart gives us a continued understanding of our cycles, continued support through the community feature, and continued hope that it will all be worth it when we get that BFP!

Pretty great!. I use this app to track fertility and in order to avoid pregnancy. Also helps me prepare for the week(s) that I find a big change in mood now that I've been tracking long enough! Super helpful. Discovered that I have insanely high estrogen, and low progesterone after reviewing Kindara with my OB, who then had my hormones tested over a period of months, so it's been a true sanity saver for me. I do wish there was a place where I could see the average length of my cycle since I've been tracking since 2013 and it's a total pain to calculate manually. I also wish there were more options for CM textures / consistencies instead of sticky vs watery but you can add your own custom "symptoms" at the bottom. Thanks Kindara!!
