Awful update. Was good until last couple of days ago, used this as my music player of choice; would play in the background while running other apps on my iPad. Now crashes every single time I try to use it to play music, the browser also crashes frequently.. the only neat update is the pdf viewer but I really miss the previous version.

Was great, but wont download anymore. Ive done everything i can. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app. Reset my phone completely and still the app doesn't download videos from all the sites i use to download from. Begins to download, says its downloading then when download completes, it says zero kb downloaded and it shows as done though. Very frustrating. Fix the app

Very Sorry I Downloaded Update. I purchased the Pro version to avoid ads. It worked reasonably well until this update. Now I’m buried in ads that interrupt videos and make me restart them. Most of them I can not finish because of this. Also the screen format keeps changing so I can’t see the entire video image forcing me to close the app and start over. I hope this gets fixed quickly.

I used to love this app.. However I haven’t been able to use it to actually download a video in over a year. I even have the paid version. It’s a shame.

Big change, not for the better. The old T downloaded app was great. Total files pro won’t even allow me to transfer files thru iTunes. I refuse to add yet another client just to transfer files. Will be deleting this app as soon as I find a way to get my important files off of it.

Do not waste ur money. Fair warning.. this app is trash. Idk what happened but this app is nothing like it used to be.

Meh.... Sometimes, it works decently, but most often the thing will crash randomly or stop my downloads for some reason and restart at 0% when I am halfway through. It is somewhat better than the last update, maybe from around early December 2018, which is why I give it 3 stars instead of 2. You probably could find better options out there for this purpose, but if you're not willing to look for them, this is mildly serviceable I suppose.

I don’t even know what you’re supposed to use this for now. You cant download things with it anymore. Not ones that will play anyways. If you try to convert them app just crashes

BAD UPDATE. I think you’re ignoring the users reviews! If you want to create a cloud file manager app, then you should’ve created a new different app, not replacing what we have purchased and downloaded. This is not what I bought, It was a video/audio download manager app (Total Downloader) now it something useless for me.

Move around virtual folders?. I don't see why that's not a feature. I'd like to rearrange the order of all my folders

Handy. Needs a slow motion feature and a way to convert multiple files at once then this app will be gold👌🏾 and once a file is transferred it keeps the same names that you choose to title it. Also large files seem to have issues downloading lately such as movies.

Annoying Bug. Hi. When my file had complete the name of file become scattered!!! Please please. fix it soon as possible, It’s so annoying

Ruined my day,. I used Total Downloader daily and it totally fulfilled my needs. Now you’ve added complexity by putting things in the app I don’t want and don’t need. Oh yeah, maybe I can spend two hours figuring out how to download files just like before but in a more complicated manner. But I think I’ll use that time to find another app. I gave you a one-star rating because you ruined it for me. This may very well be a Five-Star app for those who need what it now offers but I’ll never know nor care because it is no longer going to occupy memory in my devices.

Stuck in browser mode since this update. Since update it gets stuck in browser mode and has to be shut down. If you browse for any amount of time all icons that return you to transfers/ etc.... disappear and the app has to be shut down. Bad bad update. Major bug

Update Review. I was upset when the app was upgraded with a name change...I thought I lost all my info. After working with the app for a couple of hours I eventually found my info and realized the improvements made to the app were great. This is a 5 star app and I love it.

Good file manager but identical to “Amerigo File Manager”. This is a good file manager app but I quickly realized that it looked very familiar - now I know why: it is •identical• to “Amerigo File Manager” by “IdeaSolutions S.r.l.” Take a look and you will see - it’s the same app. If there are any differences, I couldn’t find them. So it’s kind of weird that two supposedly different developers are selling Total Files and Amerigo File Manager (and for very different prices) when they are actually the same app.

New Update Is Awful. I paid the money for the full version because I liked the app and how it looked, and now that the app is updated I almost didn’t recognize it at first. There should be an option where you can switch it back to the older version. Other than that, the older version is perfect. This app was better when it was called tdownloader. Please change it back to the original. Thank you.

Face ID to unlock stopped working. Not sure when, but FaceID to unlock hidden folders doesn’t work. Now you have to type a password every time. The toggle still shows in General Settings under the Total Pro app to unlock with Face ID, but it still requires you add a password every time. Also, importing Videos from Phone Gallery doesn’t seem to work. I have to move them to the iPhone Files app and import them to Total Pro from there. For a paid app, it has several bugs still.

Amazing but.... Moving pictures videos recordings etc has never been easier total is the way to go but all I ask is for a in app option to edit your recordings like bass boosting and such. Other than that total is amazing and pro version is definitely worth the few $

great for music, but not much else.. my music files are perfect from download, they sound just the way i made them on my computer. not to good downloading anything else though just music and some videos.

Let me download videos!. The main reason I paid for this app was to download videos to my camera roll and now that feature is gone, my app keeps crashing, and I’m having a lot of bugs. Please fix this app or I want my money back.

Great App overall. My only complain is u tube videos, you don’t have quality options like the main app, usually it is only one choice the lower one.

Stellar app seriously. This app is amazing and can usually download where and when no other app can. It manages its downloads beautifully in the background too, in case you actually want to leave the app for some reason. It zips and unzips, and is an ease to transfer in and out of, to your computer or any other app on your phone. To be clear, I give this app my highest level possible recommendation. To the developers: you did something to the picture scrolling that make it hyper sensitive and it gets stuck sometimes. You had spoiled us, and still spoil us, with a perfectly functioning app otherwise, so it makes this issue stand out as the only negative thing even though it’s very minor. I would love to see it disappear as quickly as it turned up. Even if it’s here to stay, thank you for a fabulous app.

Good app.. Only problem. The lacking of transfer all the files to your computer at once instead of one at the time.

The best app ever is even better now!!!!. Total Downloader, now called Total, is the best app ever, especially now with this last update and gorgeous new design. You can browse the web, download files, store and access any files from your computer, as well as transfer the files from the app to the computer using wifi or iTunes. I use it daily and highly recommend the pro version. It's definitely worth the money. I’ve contacted the developers in the past and they replied nicely. Thank you!

Works Great, Please add for Apple Watch. Solid app, more than just a file storage. Works great with Apple iMovie and various other podcast sites. Media player is also on point - very similar to Apple Music app. Great feature request would be a companion Apple Watch app for sending video and audio files for playback.

ETA. Is it in the cards to have the ETA (download time left) on files your downloading to know how long you have left? Or a basic pop up blocker? Last update introduced a randomly disappearing downloads button. Still no downloads eta or basic popup blocker Still no download progress?? But a progress for usb transfer?

Good news.. Wow, pic to pic, this is really a great news. I only wish that this app has the FF and RR option, to play audio and videos back and forward...that would make it even greater. For now i give it 4 stars.

Update the video player. Every time i fast forward it takes a while to play like its being buffered even if the video is already downloaded or stores locally ….I love the app but find if kinda weird that it takes a couple of seconds to play

DuckDuck Go Support. Can you please add DuckDuckGo support? Pretty much the main reason I use an iPhone is to avoid Google like the plague. But the only search engine option in your app is Google. If you add DuckDuckGo, this would for sure be a 5 star app. Thanks.

One of the best apps if not the best I know of.. This is like a multi purpose app. Top go to for me. Enough to buy it. I don’t often buy apps. the cloud services integration is great. Even Uploading is so simple. I browse with it. Play media files and manage a lot of my cloud files with this app.

Really?!. I hate this version... advices: 1- option to save the clips downloaded by the app to our phone so we may edit if we want to. 2- support differnt video format ..add multiple player. I used to like it alot but now disappointed

Multi tabs gone. Ever since the newest upgrade my multi tabs icon is gone and I cannot have more than one tab open. I tried to email you but there is no response. I am disappointed since I paid for this app and I liked it as it was.

Extremely good app. The one feature I feel is lacking is the movie playback. It would be nice to have control of movie volume and speed (Maybe the way Chrome browser does it? ).

Upload problem. The app doesn't work for transferring files from pc to app through web interface, the upload button doesn't work in any browsers, this problem has been persistent since the new app face establishment, please fix this.

Pretty good...when it works!. I love this when it works! I get super frustrated that the videos stop half way through when they're suppose to be fully downloaded and that sometimes it'll say downloaded but will play 2 minutes...ALSO when they have been cleared out of the downloaded section sometimes they didnt even download and I have to redo it which wastes my data! If you have enough data go ahead but this happens every day and its beginning to become annoying

Needs to be fixed. This app is good but hangs lot of time. Downloads stop in between, need to be fixed. Flash should be provided with this app for more competability.

Excellent App. I love the fact that downloads can be stopped and started as required, this is a great all round App for downloads.

Works well and it's pretty.. It works, even on u'chewb. The interface is really nice (love the orange) and everything is easy to follow. One of the best downloaders I've tried and I've tried quite a few.

Great App. Has been my go-to downloader for a long time now - and they haven't messed with it like so many good apps do! Simple to use, downloads from quite a variety of sites/types of format, and storage to Dropbox is just the icing on the cake!

Best app for downloading videos.. A great app, highly recommended, great interface, just wish when you close it and open it again it remembers where you were at when playing the video rather than starting at the menu.

Update. Yeah i love the app and all its really cool, but you really need to update it for ios 8 it doesnt let me create playlists or folders or anything so yeah definately needs an update

The app is fantastic, but.... Hey so I've use this app for years now and ever since I've had the iOS8 I haven't been able to make some space by deleting some videos, or saving them to my camera roll, or converting them into MP3. I hope this bug is fixed soon. Because I've used this for years

Back to Brilliance. Stability restored.. Been using Total for years, and switched to Pro for increased stability. The app developers have now fixed a glitch that locked everything. So, without doubt, again the best downloading browser available.

Very Interesting App…. Very Interesting App… This is a most interesting App. Its Feature Set is very appealing. After using the "Non Pro" version for a while I became intrigued to see what the additional feature of the "Pro" Version was. So I went to the website to see. As you do, but unfortunately for me it was not in English so I could not read it. The App descriptions in the App store for each "version" gave little indication between the differences that I could see except a tiny increment in the version numbers. the Non Pro is at 3.3.1 and the Pro-version is at 3.3.2. So I ask myself, is a minor point difference in the versions reason to distinguish between a Pro and not Pro version to charge an "Update" Fee? Perhaps I’m missing something... But so far I can distinguish little no difference between the two in my usage of each app. Except to my disappointment, when I did decide to purchase the "Pro" version upon launching it (Which was pleasingly pretty) to find I had to once again enter in all credentials and preferences as none were transferred from the non pro version. Nor were any of the Virtual Folders or files I had set up in the non pro version. I had to start from scratch all over again. This was quite perplexing and somewhat annoying but not as much as it could have been if I had spent some considerable time setting up cloud services and virtual folders with hundreds of files and folders. As it was I only had set up 3 virtual folders and a few files from 3 cloud services. Thank the digital gods! My mood would be much more elevated than it is now. Additionally, I found neither app able to display any photos consistently from any cloud services except for smaller images. Being able to change the name of a file is a very handy function, but it appears the name change will not get updated if in a Virtual folder. The virtual folder version or link remains the previous files name. Again additionally, some Sort functions appear greyed out on some Cloud Services yet functional on others It is these inconsistencies that has me asking... are these the "Pro features" we are paying for? But no... these we "features" that both the Pro and Non Pro have equally so that cant be it.… Perhaps if the Developers Website had a Translation button I might get some light on the questions. I guess I’m just going to have to ask my friend Google to translate it (The developers website) for me. But so far, all I feel like is I’ve just paid the developer to submit a bug fix list.... Which is a curious business model. It has an impressive update record. But I do think this app has real potential and I can see it intergrated in to my workflow very happly, if only I could work out what its motives are and find its "Pro" Easter-eggs 8)

Version 3 no iTunes file sharing support. Being able to clear cache is a welcome addition. Had issues updating from old version. Deleted app and data and did a fresh clean install and the app works perfectly.

Audio problem. For audio files Can you please add the option to safe your place So when you exit or accidentally skip you don’t loose your place.

Great App!. This app works great! You can download basically everything, create playlists, convert video to audio and much more. If it's a video or picture you can save it to your camera roll! Works great and is very easy to use!

OPTIONS DO NOT WORK. since i updated to IOS 8 the option of importing files, creating a new folder & playlist, moving files, renaming files etc… basically all of the editing options haven't worked for a few days now, please optimise it for IOS 8 as soon as possible.

Downloads anything. Many other download apps claim to be able download any file from the web. Truth is, I've tried 100's and this is the only app that actually does what it claims.

Update needed!!!. To developer, please add function to import files from phone to the app and be able to close the first single-only tab on the browser as well as Bluetooth file transfer function. I'll give it 5 stars on the next update if those features are added. Overall this is the good app, indeed!

Useless. The music I downloaded have disappeared . Won't fully download videos. Any site that you are able to download from has ads pop up and make it useless to download content. Wish I could be refunded so I can purchase a decent app instead.

Why does the browser default to google, and no way of changing?. The app always feels a bit rough, but fairly usable. However, now the browser always default to google, and no way of using blank or change to other main page. The rating just have to drop

Used to be good. Pretty much useless for me now as you can't download video files from any website I've tried. Also won't play audio on any videos I add from my computer. Back before all these updates it was awesome and I used it all the time.

So-So app. It’s not too bad of an app I mean I can still download videos you just have to wait till it opens up the video and it will ask you to download it but not off YouTube, but the only downside is has is it doesn’t have the option to connect to iTunes to save everything on the computer, If they add that feature then I’ll be satisfied. In the meantime I have to use another app like Video Saver to save all my downloads so I can save the videos I downloaded onto my computer.

BUG: Patch released on July 19th 2018. So with the July 19th update the app is no longer compatible with the proper screen size of iphones 5 IOS 10. The app resolution is much smaller than the screen.

Best video download app ever. Actually this is the ONLY APP who allows you to download videos from YouTube. I repeat, this is the only app to download videos from YouTube. You will never find other app like this one. I've try a lot of other apps like this, and this app is the only one who works with YouTube. It works perfectly well

Okay, but not brilliant. It does what it should but there are features that would make it so much more useful. For instance, I got a JavaScript bug ("your iPad is infected! Call blah blah blah") but there was no way of, say, clearing out the cache, so in the end I had to delete the app and re-install it. It crashes occasionally. Mostly, though, it's good. My experience with the JavaScript malware means, though, that I don't trust it as my main browser or as a repository of things downloaded.

Worst Update ever. I don’t care for the new format. If it’s going to be updated, it should be improved and not made more convoluted. I don’t like it. Wish they never changed it.

Et les téléchargements sont vraiment faciles avec vidéo. Tu peux même écouter la musique sans internet. Je le recommande cet application!!!

Good app went BAD. This used to be a good app but now pretty much garbage. This app will access you photos and media without permission. Most of the sites are blocked to download. You better off not wasting your money on this. This is just another web browsing app.

Can not cast videos any more. Can not cast videos to tv anymore don’t kno y u would cancel this feature so stupid. If they can fix the casting issue pretty much same as last one just gotta get used to it

Company Does NOT Respond to Support Requests 1/3/20. The latest update of Dec. ‘19 killed IPhone download functionality. App Ideas has ignored all three support requests for the PAID version. Only works on IPads now. Buyer BEWARE.

This upgrade is not good.. It gets laggy after this upgrade. Also due to the tool bar at the top, the pdf looks smaller too.

Use to be the best. This used to be the best app of its kind, but now since the last upgrade, it's so full of bugs. It freezes up, and the new interface is the worst. Save yourself the time and money, don't get this app.
