Sygic Travel Maps Offline Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Missing lots of options. It is a good basic app but to make it perfect developers need to: - add lots of missed attractions. - make country Templates “Road Trip”. - make a list of top attractions as you zoom out.

Incredible App!. This was so smart and easy and worked all through our trip - kept everything in order and got us everywhere in London & Paris!

Great until update. This app used to be great and extremely useful until they updated it and now you can only see like 3% of the activities in the area without it forcing you to pay. Premium is also ALWAYS on “sale” just so it makes you feel like you’re getting a deal. Waste of time now, don’t bother. There’s plenty of trip planning websites that are free and just as useful.

Simply great!. The app is very good! Very intuintive! Good summary of each place... nice link to getyourguide, so you can get tickets in advance... although some place's opening/closing hours doesn't match with their actual timetables. In general i'm definitely using it on my next trips :)

Love the App. I have been enjoying this App since the year 2015 or before. I use it on my international trips, has never let me down. Thank you for this great app.

What happened?!. How did this go from one of my favorite itinerary planners to one of the my least favorite designs overnight. It used to be SO user friendly and super convenient. The UX completely changed, and I wish I could say for the better. The search feature is so bad now and it’s not that I don’t like change... I just don’t like what this update did. Made it much much more difficult to plan a trip ( what I originally got the app for when it was still tripomatic). As someone who paid for premium membership, I’m disappointed

App premium. Great app especially putting a trip together on a computer but a total disappointment when coming to the app on an iPhone XS Max. Even when I’m in hotspots takes forever to go from one screen to the other and majority of the time it kicks me straight out. Doing a lot of travel to Europe the first couple times I used this app was slow but ok but my last trip to Cologne it was non functional period.

Outstanding app. Wow off to Japan, and Asia. Out of all the app’s this one is way better the all others and I purchased five looking for something like this one. Thank you

It Changed.. This used to be my go-to app as I travel internationally quite often. I downloaded this a few years ago when the interface was simpler - a major highlight was that you could browse different a ton of activities on the right hand of the screen. You could even sort these by category (ie tours, free things to do, markets) and there was a much larger database of things to do. It seems like they completely swapped this out for the more condensed list of most popular sights. The offline maps are great, when they work...I'm trying to find a replacement for this - I am paid user but unfortunately haven’t found a comparable substitute. I’m heading back to Paris in a few days and all of the sights and activities I saved on the previous version are GONE.

Another disappointed customer. I was hoping it will work but it is complex and not worth the money. I consider myself a tech savvy but got lost in the complexity. Wish I could get the money back.

So helpful!. This was fantastic to have on our trip to Japan! I love the multiple functions--scheduling what to do on which days, the suggested sites, that you can save links and also add your own notes. Being able to see all your saves on a map is GREAT for planning outings so you can focus on which area to tackle. I referred to it every day several times while we were on the road.

Worthless!!. This app is absolutely worthless! To build an itinerary is painful. You first need to build it on a piece of paper because there is no editing. Even if you input the time for each site the app will not move the items in the correct order. You can not choose the mode of transportation between places. The app picks one for you. Basically zero flexibility with this thing. Very disappointed, now I’m sure it will be a pain to cancel the monthly subscription.

Paid app now - edited. Great when it was free/ad-supporterd. The change to paid-for-EVERYTHING is too drastic. Why not continue to provide certain basic features in the free version, and provide premium options to unlock other premium features? Hardly usable now - they are forcing everyone to the “premium” option. Please don’t insult your users with “we are making more awesome feature” or “making the change in order to make it better “. Most of us were happy as it was. - edited: understood better the need to charge but still believe this could have been segmented better. Thanks.

Well made app!. Hi I am trying to make an app with the same concept but I’m going to focus on a small island only. How hard was it choosing between developers and may I ask how much it costed? Thanks

Not sharing between devices. I attempted to make a route using my iPhone, which was difficult. After reviewing, I see that you develop a route online, then save it (favorite) and it’s supposed to show in your App. I do see the route on my iPad, but not my iPhone. And, when I try to ‘share’ from my iPad, it shuts down/closes the App. What gives?????

Best Travel App!. I came across this app while I was planning my honeymoon trip to NYC. This was the best app to plan each day of our trip and keep track of everything we did and saw. It was so helpful to be able to see how far each landmark/sight was from the others so we could get the most out of our trip. Would highly recommend this app for planning and using during any trip.

Best I've found, but not great.. I tried TripIt, but I couldn't figure anything out. Google Trips was pretty good for finding info, but I couldn't share or get maps. I like Sygic's map feature with the little pictures to click on (but some pictures don't match the place). I'm able to share my trip with family, and that is great. I also like the mode of transportation option. However, if you are looking for a specific place and don't have the EXACT name that Sygic has it listed, it's difficult to find. I wish it was linked to a search engine that could help decider what I meant. For instance, I could not find Hotel Moderno on the Puerta del Sol in Madrid even when I put in street address. (Lots of others popped up from different places). I finally found it when I clicked on "accommodations" and it was listed as just "Moderno" Or looking for the Ratoncito Perez museum, I looked up Ratoncito Perez, but couldn't find it until I put the official name Casa Museo del Ratón Pérez. I paid the fee for premium, but the info isn't stellar, just ok. So I'm not getting rid of my Google Trips app just yet. I still think the sale price for the app was worth it, I do like the map and sharing feature.

Good until update. I really liked this app until the recent update. Now all I does is crash. Finding and adding new items to the schedule is difficult. The new update is just awful. I wish it would just go back to the way it was. Also when I try to look at what path a may take somewhere it always redirects me to a different app which is super annoying. It doesn’t give you the option between driving and walking all the time.

Well worth the money. We’ve been using Sygic travel app for a few years. We are the do-it-all-by-ourselves crazy type who always try to squeeze as much as we can in the short time we managed to take off. This app makes planning an itin so much easier. We usually start off with reading various attractions both in app and online. After we identify where we want to go, select what we want to do in each day and the app map out a logical route and give us an estimate of how long the itin will take. Planning to go to the 50th country next.

Don’t load the upgrade. 5 stars to 1 star. Loved Sygic for planning trips. Newest version lost all the tools and views I relied upon to plan my trips. How can I get the old version if the app back? Find the new version impossible to plan, arrange and time my day.

Used it in Vancouver and Victoria BC. Great app with details and pics which links to the Navigator Sygic app. Or just use Google Maps. I gave it a 4 because It could use work with places to eat nearby. But overall it is awesome and I have shared it with friends! I didn't need to use the Itinerary due to the spontaneity of our trip which was wonderful! I click on the next place I want to see and if I like it I go based on our preference! So many wonderful things I want to say but I will definitely use it all the time in the future!!!👍🏼

Helps you find sights and plan. I travel on my own in Europe. I use Sygic Travel as my primary tool for planning on what to see and what day to plan to see things. Example: a week in Rome you want to see The Vatican, Coliseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. These places are at opposite sides of the city. There are also great lesser known sights near each one that Sygic Travel shows you. Don’t plan your trip without it.

Works without cell signal!. In 2016 we were traveling through California’s vast Anza Borrego dessert and lost cell signals. Scary! We found our way out and I looked for an app that would serve as an offline GPS, rather than adding a cumbersome Garmin device. After installing Sygic I literally could navigate anywhere without the need for a cell signal (other than initially downloading maps). That was the start of my appreciation of the extraordinary value and features of Sygic! It continues to get better with more features since 2016. We travel about half the year throughout the country in our Class B RV (Ford Transit camper van). Apple Car Play supports both Apple and Google maps, but Sygic through Car Play is our go-to navigation. We depend on it and the features other navigation does not offer that are too extensive to list here.

Excellent app. Everything has been working just fine and unjust wish there was a way of ticking or clicking done on the things I’ve already fulfilled on my list.

Best trip app!. I’ve tried a few and this one is by far the best. I love how it lets me schedule my day with walking distance (or car/train etc) being able to estimate my entire day. It also gives me the map on how to get there etc. I’ve used it in Italy, Greece, Turkey and now I just got done planning my France trip. I love it!

BEST TEAVEL APP WITH MAPS. I am writing this review from my hotel room in Venice and have been traveling throughout Europe. I cannot explain how invaluable this app has been to me thus far. I paid for the premium version and it was well worth it. I have had cell data turned off my entire trip but this app has helped me navigate the complicated streets of several cities despite having my data turned off (I don't know how- but it is not using data). It is amazing, i planned my entire month long trip using the app. When I had questions, I emailed the developers and received prompt responses. It has been the best purchase that I have ever made from the App Store. I highly recommend it!!

I love it but. I love this app but the old planner is way better and user friendly, I found the old planner on the website but how do I change it back on my phone? I don’t like this new version at all, please help me get the one before the update!

Disappointed in latest version. I’m in the midst of planning an extended trip to Italy and was so delighted with this app (I did purchase the app). And then my iPad crashed and needed to be replaced. I expected that when I reinstalled the app all would be well. Unfortunately, it isn’t. As advertised, they in fact did rebuild it from the ground up but they didn’t add many of the previous very helpful features. I’m now using my phone which I thankfully did not update or my desktop computer. The web-based Sygic has a feature to revert to the previous version. I can only hope that the next version will be released soon and will incorporate many previous features. I anxiously await being able to give this app 5 stars again.

Just what I’ve been looking for!. I used to plan to my trips using trip advisor, however they took away the ability to schedule items within each day of the trip. I tried using Google Trips, Tripline, and any other app that was recommended for trip planning. Sygic is the only one I have tried which had all the options I needed. Some of the features I appreciate include: being able to select multiple types of transportation for each day. If I am trying to plan a route on google maps for a day it won’t let me switch between using a car and using public transportation. Sygic let’s me decide for each destination whether I want to drive, take public, transportation, etc. The app also estimates based on the activities and routes how long of a day it will be. I used to manually estimate how long I would spend at each place I wanted to visit based on googles average for how long people spend there. Sygic automatically has an estimate for each travel site already. Also those times can be adjusted if needed. The premium feature of printing trips to PDF is also great. The PDF looks great and includes the travel guides for the cities you are visiting. Overall the app has everything I want from a trip planning app and I looking forward to continuing to use it for many more trips to come!

Can’t Share. Great app. Wonderful for creating day-by-day sightseeing itineraries, which is exactly what I was looking for. But 1 star deduction because it claims to support Family Sharing and yet doesn’t even show up I’m my subscriptions list, which makes it impossible to share.

Great app. I travel alot and this app paired with the sygic world maps premium package are great. Even if you have zero internet connection you have offline access. I used in at the Grand Canyon on a motorcycle ride and came in handy was not able to get my maps to work on google and sygic came thru gave me gas stations on the route etc and made it back in total darkness without any interruptions 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Good app concept, but untrustworthy. I really want to like this app but I find that I can’t trust it with my trip plans. After landing in the UK from the USA, this app moved all my events one day ahead. Maybe this is a time-zone issue but a world travel app should handle things better. After moving them all back manually, the map filtering still filters based on the wrong dates so my itinerary view is not in sync with the map view. My trip companion who is sharing my data on her iPad still sees the dates wrongly also even after I’ve manually corrected them on my iPad. Another thing that is quite terrible is that there doesn’t appear to be a way to put the same item in the trip on multiple days with different time settings. For example, if you want to put the airport in for your arrival and departure, editing the time will change it on both days. The searching seems quite bad also. Many times the app can’t find what I am looking for, but if I zoom in on the map, suddenly the item is there and I can click on it to add to the trip. On the positive side, the app has neat workflow, allowing itineraries to be built up with nice visualization on the map. It also makes it easy to discover nearby items of interest. If this app could be bullet-proof in handling trip data, this would be an amazing app and would be a big part of my tip planning. As it is, I don’t feel that I can trust it.

Not Worth Paying For. The app was great when everything in it was free. I haven't used it in more than a year and when I went in recently to start setting up a trip I was surprised to find that the content isn't free anymore. Might as well sign up for trip advisor. The UI isn't as nice but you can research and manage your trip all in one place without a cost (for now).

Wish this worked better. Bought the premium and used it once and can’t get any of my devises to sync anymore. This app is difficult to figure out and I spent a lot of time learning to navigate it. If you’re not great on a computer this is not the app for you. Love the idea but needs work to be more intuitive and needs a menu to manage your account with all devices.

Unable to add items with free version. If I make a trip using a computer, then use the app only to help navigate, it’s great. However, on the app itself it won’t even let me do a basic thing like add a new place to my day without paying for premium. The website is great but the app is useless unless you pay for premium. Why bother having a free version at all?

The maps need some extra features. I love the app, but one of the most frustrating issues is that walking routes as similar to driving routes. Instead of taking a direct path, the map is directing me to go 2 or more blocks out of the way, doubling back, etc. It would be great if there was a way to adjust the route points. Other than that, it’s the best app for building your itinerary.

So unfortunate. This is my second attempt to have my review posted...unfortunately, I’m repeating myself in saying this app is no longer useful. Unfortunately the last update has taken the app into a realm of frustration by many users (read recent reviews). Unfortunately I can not get a refund. And even more unfortunate, I have to spend time finding a new travel app to plan my upcoming trip, rather than planning as I have done in the past on my Sygic app. So disappointed that Progammers/app designers continue to mess up perfectly good/useful/user friendly tools.

Good update except list view is gone. The map view is nice but in areas where there is densely packed spots a list view is much easier. Also lets you pick stuff out that is less popular (ie not a big bubble). Bring a simple list back and you're golden.

Great planning tool!. This makes it so easy to find places to see, it lets you pick bubbles on the map and dig into reviews and other valuable information right there. Then adding an item to your itinerary is simple and you can start managing the days on the trip so you aren't doing too much or too little.

Great for trip planning!. We used to spend hours planning our routes and destinations manually. Now, this app helps us plan as well as inform us of the places we’re going. Bought the premium functionality well worth it!

This app has everything you will ever need for your trip!. When one doesn’t understand what it takes to develop an app, you get reviews like the ones who complain about its costs and features for premium version. I did not hesitate one second getting the premium version of this app, it has all-in-one what other apps offer separately or lack functionality. You get trip planning suggestions, tour suggestions and their cost, navigation help and instructions, all the information you need to plan your trip and a lot more! Honestly, this app is a gem and the developers really outdid the features and actually carefully selected what one user NEEDS and can get lots of advantage for. I cannot stress enough how awesome of an app this is. I just downloaded and needed to share my thoughts because I barely buy apps and let alone leave reviews but this one deserves every good review it gets. I applaud for the effort and thoughtfulness of making this app the most convenient one for trip planning I have seen in the app store. Thank you and I really hope you continue making it as awesome as it is and seamless to navigate. Two suggestions as an iPad user would be a calendar view to visualize trips in a calendar format (or calendar integration, which I am still exploring in the app) and an apple pencil/ draw format for note taking as it is easier for me to use but those two suggestions are just that, the app is awesome as is and has a lot of room for growth.

Almost there. I tried planning a trip to the coast and the map kept redirecting me to Washington state, over 2 hours away. Also it should be possible to delete a trip from the Trips screen, right? Take advantage of the swipe gesture, rather than burying a delete menu choice down under Trip Settings.

Useful but not. Just started using this app and I like how easy it is to plan your itinerary out. Even share it. The biggest problem I have is being able to use my choice of navigation. I’d like to be able to use Google Maps or Apple maps for directions but it forces you to use their GPS solution, which then requires an additional purchase to get turn by turn directions! Update: User error. Sygic actually uses Apple’s way of doing their settings so it wasn’t apparent to the user. Support is correct and you can change the default navigation app. Home Screen/Springboard > Settings > Sygic Travel. Amazing. The only issue I have is the app should walk you through an initial setup to get these things sorted out. With this fixed definitely an app I could recommend to others. Transferring my itinerary back to this now. Thank you!

Used to be fabulous. I loved this app and referred it non-stop to my traveling friends. I was also happy to upgrade - money well spent. I tried numerous itinerary planning apps and Sygic beat them all hands down. Unfortunately Sygic has now moved to being primarily a map application with frustratingly difficult itinerary planning. I have to plan my itinerary on their "legacy" website on my computer and then I can see it on my phone. It is extremely difficult to do any detailed planning on my phone now. The previous app version also exceeded the computer version with its ease and custom-ability. Changing from the #1 trip planning app niche into trying to compete with all the other huge map developers was a bad decision.

No integration with CityMapper or GoogleMap. Been a premium user since 2016. Been happy on most part. Would like integration with CityMapper for public transportation routing so that I don’t need to exit this app and then to type in location in CityMapper. The Visitacity free map already can do that.

Thank you so much🙏🏻 great support !!. At November we traveled in Turkey, and we have some problem with navigation, we can’t choose road, I am writing about that to support and after two month all problem fixed. Really best app for planing trip. Thank you!

Was a great app, new version is rough to use. They had an awesome app and have made it almost unusable with the new version unless you have a one or two day trip. You can now just see one day at a time and it is painful to add a city to multiple days. You were able to select multiple days in the past in one screen, but now you have to select a day, then it auto closes, then you have to reopen to add another day. I used this for all my multi-week trips in the past and at this point the app is just too painful to use. So frustrating that they ruined such an awesome app :(

Great application 👍. I have been using this product in the last couple of weeks it has great features that you don't see them in other GPS applications.

What happened??. My husband and I used this app in England and the Netherlands in March of 2017 and didn’t think twice about using it again this year when we went to Spain. We downloaded all the maps ahead of time, expecting to have the same wonderful experience as the last time, only to be immediately and sorely disappointed. Roughly 7 times out of 10, the app would say “Error during navigation” or “Navigation unavailable at this time,” and the rest of the time the app would just crash. What happened? This app saved our lives the last time we used it and now I feel horrible for ever having recommended it to anyone because it’s completely useless. Will absolutely be deleting this app and never using it again.

Best Travel Guide App available.. I've recently traveled to Europe (Paris, Madrid, Barcelona and Bordeaux) and planned my trip with ease, all thanks to Sygic Travel. The amount of places presented by the app and top sights to see or best tours to were really helpful in our decision making. I wish we would travel more so I could invest in the premier features. But, I just might make the purchase because I would like to support the awesome teams that put this together. Keep up the great work - Roberto

Best travel app ever. I love this app and have recommended it to many. I have used this app to plan several trips. It is so helpful to be able to plan sights and activities in specific areas of a city using the map. It is also helpful having so much much information about each attraction ie opening times and costs. Then, when actually in the city it is fantastic to be able to walk around between the attractions following our plan on the map and know we will never get lost because of the data free map. Love, love, love it.

Hard to use. I can’t seem to navigate this app sorry I bought it now

Not an itinerary planner. Has some useful guidebook type info, but let down by not really being an itinerary planner. Can't seem to enter info about which city you will be in on which day, where you are staying or how you are getting between locations. Without that context, all the great info it gives you about locations just ends up as a jumble. Wish it had a help function and I might be able to figure it all out.

Frustrating. One of the most frustrating apps to use. Trying to plan a 2 month trip around Europe but the app is stuck in our first stop Paris. Added destinations but then still need to add custom places of which neither show on map. Grrrrrrr!! We are driving between cities but can't find a setting for that either. Confusing menus on the left and right that just take you around in circles. Why can't someone just make an easy to use app?

Excellent in 4 cities in 4 weeks. Most travel apps do the obvious for short visits, Sygic gets under the hood if a city and optimises every day - even for longer stays

Very handy App. This app is really good. Have a euro trip coming up and planning our day to day activities has been made much easier with this. Yrt to find a problem. 5 star

New update so not user friendly. Been using this app for years, Love this app so much before the latest update. But Its really bad now, So hard to navigate.

Amazing. This app had the best design logic and architecture ive ever seen. Really its truly amazing, and to top it off, the features are actually amazing and functional as well. This should win an award or something!

The smart way to plan your travel. Why it's the best way to plan? I'll give you an example: say, I plan to travel to Rome and I choose my own attractions to visit during each day. When I want to add another attraction, it looks at the other things I already planned and it suggests on which day I should add it depending on the distance.

World trip. This year I was on a World Cruise that literally circumnavigated the world. I planned activities for every port using the Sygic Travel app. I just love the app, it is amazingly easy to use. I am a travel agent and recommend it to all my friends and clients!

Amazing. This app has been very useful for me to plan various trips in different places, as it suggests times that you may want to visit certain places (and for how long), how long transport takes between different places and to manage dates and times, a very useful app

Love it!. I love this app! Once you get used to it, it is so easy to use and a great way to keep all your trip information and research together. It's great that it syncs across devices and desktop computer. I've showed it to a few friends and they have loved it. A couple of things I would like to see is the ability to include travel times for public transport- we travel by train a bit and the travel times and routes can be quite different to driving. I would also like to be able to add the same location twice in one day, so say you were checking in to a hotel in the morning and then going out for the day and coming back it would be good to be able to put that in. Overall a great app with so much in it, great value!

Another subscription. No way, there are too many as well as other and cheaper ways to plan a trip

Awesome. Great app for planning trips.

Best Travel Planner App. This app has saved us time and money. Arrived in Europe with no real plans. We have used this app to explore 3 cities on our own - no tour fees. So impressed I upgraded to pro version for maps off line. Strange name because it doesn't explain itself that well. Glad we found it.

Smart, Reliable Time Saver. I have used Tripomatic on many occasions over the last 3 years to plan long and short vacations in foreign countries. I've also used it as a guide while I am away and need information or directions. Tripomatic keeps improving consistently and is a fantastic tool for any traveller.

Key bits missing. It’s good but the map feature struggles in certain countries -Japan. It misses key attractions and puts things in the wrong place. The lack of public transport makes it super hard to plan how long it takes, meaning I might as well have just used google maps and one note instead and saved my money. Better in other countries, can’t wait for it to better in places I want to travel.

A lot to love. This app is great for choosing the top places to see when planning a trip. The interface could use some refinement (eg. reordering items, map display) but there's a lot to love already. Try it!

Sucked in !!. Paid the money to upgrade and get the offline maps only to be told (after the purchase of course !!) they don't support the country I'm going to ! Why would a tourist go to New Zealand anyway ! In the end though that doesn't matter as the app doesn't actually work, when you try to add a destination it disappears anyway. Not worth the data downloading it !!

Great concept but no public transport. The concept and usability of app is great though the transport mode is limited to driving and walking. Definitely need a public transport mode which is very realistic when travelling. Also very limited number of cities with guides limits its usefulness. Would be great to see the new updates and what features it brings.

Very happy. At first this App would not work and kept freezing. After a very quick response from the Sygic team, and at their suggestion, I reinstalled the App and it works perfectly. It has some WOW factor and is excellent for organising a trip. You can download the GPS maps so they work offline. That to me, is the WOW factor as I often travel off the beaten track.

Crashes, Poor UX, Slow map loads.. Something is horribly wrong. Crashes. Slow. Ability to see or view whole trip end to end instead of day at a time for a specific week only.

iPhone X compatibility. Please support iPhone X.

Great app. Fantastic app to plan your travel itenary

Great tool for holidaying!!!. Throughout my European holiday, this app has been an essential part of my site seeing planning. Easy to use, great at highlighting the major sites and even has a great feature of showing what there is to see around your primary pick so that sites can be clustered together! It doesn't have all the sites but definitely covers the major ones. Would love to see an iPad version.

Indispensable. Although it is a bit slow at refreshing the maps, the features this app offers are amazing. A combination of Google offline maps, travel guide, trip advisor and travel agent all in one. Give it a go. Your patience will be rewarded.

I hate this app. Paid for it and I hate it. Trip to Wilson’s Promontory National Park. No information, poor app navigation, no detail maps or things to do, attractions etc. for an extremely popular tourist destination in Melbourne Australia. Utterly useless waste of money for me so far

Has great potential. There's a lot to like about Tripomatic, but in my opinion, it doesn't quite hit the mark, though it seems to be heading in the right direction. Sights are listed well in capital cities but other major cities can be completely empty of information. The interface between the iOS app, the Website and the beta website leaves a lot to be desired. Another feature it could really benefit from is somewhere to list transport. If I'm traveling by train, for example, I want to know when and where I have to be on Day 24 of my trip.

Great Walking Tour Guide for the iPad. The ability to save downloaded maps that work with the iPad's GPS capability make this a great walking tour guide for the iPad. Maps show the major tourist attractions. The speed of position update on the map is fine for walking, but may be a bit slow for driving. The app focuses on planning your tour days to include the things that you want to see, and tends to point you to professional walking tours. The ability to add user photographs to places of interest is good. I'd like to see the ability for users to add additional places of interest that may also be of interest to others.

Highly recommended although support for Japan can be improved. I would give 4.5 if Apple allows it. But only 4 or 5 is allowed. So 4 it is. Overall, this app and the service behind it are extraordinary. I did not exaggerate at all by using this word. This is probably the only app in the market that understand the key parts of trip planning: 1. You need an accommodation which you leave every morning and get back every night. 2. You set a few places to go and arrange them base on their geo-location and estimate the travel time. Easy ha? It's too sad that no-one else gets it. Travefy is close but still not there. I almost bursted into tears when I found Sygic. I even looked for job opportunities as I am a GIS web developer and this is something I finally found some company are doing the right thing. But sadly they don’t have an Australian opening. Anyway, out of 2 reasons I didn't give a 5-star review: 1. This app supports Japanese public transportation badly. By badly I mean ZERO - I planned my 14-day trip for 6 major cities in Japan, ZERO public transportation route was found. As a developer, I understand the difficulties to support every single country. But maybe to use google maps API a bit for certain area if users are premium? (I know googles stuff are really expensive) 2. Sometimes the app crashes on my iPhone 8 but not on my iPad.

Downloaded and deleted. I downloaded this app based on reviews. As I was doing so I read a bit more into it. It appears to get the best out of it you need to pay a subscription. I get that the developers need to make money but I think the approx $50 full purchase or $7 per month is a bit much for a niche app. But that’s not a deal breaker. More importantly, I looked at the privacy details and saw that they basically track everything you do. No thanks. So I deleted it before using it. I gave a 3 star review even though I haven’t used it because it’s reasonable to make money (even if a little steep imo) and the app is probably very good. But no matter how good it is, you lose 2 stars because of the tracking.

Needs development. The idea of a comprehensive trip planner is great but this isn't a trip planner. It has some good ideas like providing details of destinations. However, it gives the impression that the designers have never been on a trip. There is no provision for entering details of actual travel such as flights, car hire, ferries etc. I hope the developers will consult with actual users in re-designing this app as it could become really useful. Meantime, back to Tripit.

App instability. This app all the time crashes when I try to use it on my iPhone X. And the trip reordering function doesn’t work properly sometimes it doesn’t shift venues. Annoying to use, but I’ve paid for it already.

Love it. Really helpful app! Shows you all the hot spots, as some information on each. Shows where they are on a map so you can plan your day around things that are close to each other.

Ripper. What a rip off. It is unusable if you don’t buy it.

Great travel accessory. This app makes planning you trip easy and helps you get from one attraction to the next.

Love it!. I love this app! It is a must have for travel planning. I use it every trip and especially like finding attractions nearby which I would not have otherwise found. I have two small suggestions for improvement, it would be amazing if public transportation options were included in the travel time calculations between sights, though I realise this would be huge logistical feat. The other feature I would find incredibly useful would be to easily switch out days. So if I discover a sight is closed on a Sunday I can easily switch it to a Tuesday for example. Not just the one sight which is easily done, but just drag and move the entire day as I generally go to places all in one area on the one day and switching them one by one and then switching the other days sights one by one gets tedious.

Great app. Wish you could buy once and not have to purchase subscription as the only option, otherwise it's a great app. Please give another map option besides built in and apple maps.

Fantastic trip planner. I love to get organised for everything in life and travelling is no different. I love this app for plotting where to go, stay, what to see and how to get there. The offline maps are invaluable and ongoing updates make it better all the time. I also love being able to make changes on my laptop, iPhone and iPad and have my account sync up.

Becoming too hard to use even with pro access. I liked how straight forward this app used to be. However after upgrading to pro, I am having trouble to add trip and some of my trips are not populating the usual tourist attractions etc.

A good but needy app. This is a handy and well-made app for finding things to do in a given city. However, using it has become a chore: it keeps displaying a pop-up asking me to allow notifications. Once would be fine — I could click "no" and move on. But I'm seeing it again and again and again. Even a great app can be ruined by incessant (and pointless) nagging.

Fantastic. Great app for holiday planning, I have found so many things to do that I never knew existed. Links to hotel bookings and tour bookings. Easy to use.

Great potential but too frustrating. Was really excited to get this app and plan my next holiday. However, many a frustrating hour later I gave up. Doesn't let you add destinations to the days without a number of attempts. Too hard to move things around. Will keep looking for a good travel planner app - this isn't it.

Essential app. Perfect app. I've used it to plan a trip across 3 European countries. It's reliable and easy to use. Highly recommend getting it.

Useless. App is well designed. Most basic things are blocked though and require premium access.

Just gets better and better. This handy app has been used all around Australia and in Europe. Simple to use and lots of options for personalisation.

Love this app. Fun planning with all the details and maps I needed. I've been able to organise my trip just the way I want. Organised for a great time. Thank you Tripomatic.

I’ve used this app for years. It’s been a helpful tool for whenever i travel to a new city/town and want to do some exploring without having a ready itinerary/travel plan on hand. One of the few apps that I’ve used for many years of traveling that haven’t been replaced by others. It’s great to revisit old trips as well as i’d have logged all the memorable and interesting locations, food adventures, experiences I’ve had in the past.

Great app but ....... Great app but the interface and usability was better in the earlier version

Maps. Love my updates to European and United Kingdom maps works really good thank you Bernie I have been using my travel and maps for all my travels and shopping centres I haven't been to when people use other forms of navigation and keep going around in circles or ending up a hundred miles from where they want to be I get to have a good laugh thanks Sygic cheers Bernie

Handy and Helpful. I've use this app for three international trips in the last year. Having all the information needed at my fingertips has made international travel fun and interesting. It gives a suggested timeline which is very helpful for planning, but there were a lot of out-of-the-way places that were awesome and ones I would never have thought to look up or visit if not for the app!

Amazing app!!!. Could not have done my first trip to Europe from Canada without using this app - so informative & trip templates are amazing!!!

Great Looking but Unusable. I am a premium subscriber to both their travel app and worldwide navigation app, but I can’t say that I can rely on them. They are both buggy with not so up-to-date information about places (some of them do not even exists which gave me a bad runaround and wasted my time). The travel app lack a lot of information and pictures to be called a travel app. There are no reviews for any of the places, and I am not sure why they don’t partner with some of the already established mapping services that already have a large database. As for the usability - it’s horrendously buggy and not stable. You get stuck on a screen for 10s, move the map, guess what - you have to wait for additional 10s, and after a while - boom, crash, burn. I am looking for alternatives, but so far can’t find any good offline travel app and that’s the only reason I still have it on my phone.

Keeps crashing. Uninstalled and reinstalled, but app still keeps crashing which renders the app useless. ☹️ Please fix - I loved this app.

Best maps. I have found these maps and the way they work to be the best I've ever seen.

Fantastic. A must have !!!

Was a fan, not anymore. This used to be a great app. Too many issues now and since latest update it keeps crashing making it unusable.

Needs better data. Love the concept! Won’t buy premium if non-premium is so outdated and missing information. The hotel I’m staying at has not been a Delta in years. Can’t find the Dinner/Theatre even though Google and Apple Maps clearly show it. Doesn’t show plane info.

Incredible app. I've used this app to plan out 1 to 3 day visits in about ten cities now. It's incredible. Allows you to identify best things to visit, time and distance between, so you can make sure you make the best see everything that interests you and make the most of your time.

Driving directions not working. I’m getting message that the developer needs to update app for it to work with ios11, for the driving or walking directions to work. I have premium version , and without this feature , the app is not very helpful .

Great app. Good info excellent data to develop a great trip Project

Great But One Thing Missing. I have used this app for several years and find its great for planning trips. I would love to give it 5 Stars, but the one flaw is using it with Sygic Maps. If I could plan my trip here and just have it sync using my account so that I just click somewhere in Sygic Maps and have all my destinations ready and easy to click would be amazing!

JUST LOVE THIS APP!!!. This is revolutionary! Planning for a trip has never been easier and this app provides extensive amount of details in such simple interface. Must try!!

Too many glitches to recommend. When the app actually worked it was great but it would not load a lot of the time & we spent too much time trying to get it to work. Very frustrating.

A Great App But. Sygic has one of the most comprehensive travel planning apps available BUT it’s functionality is severely limited by the inability to print or email you itinerary and input without going through their website. Email is restricted to a link to their website. Add the functions and I’ll add the stars. Update: Response to Developer’s Reply. Sorry, but yours is an unsatisfactory response. Saving to the local drive and direct printing are fundamental features. Their absence really means that my device is a remote terminal to your server. Your current work around to a lacking program involves making my trip public rather than private which is an extremely poor alternative.

Far from being user friendly.. Hardly you could work with. I am really looking for comparable app to work with.

I use it every trip. I love this app. I use it every time I travel. For some trips I use to help make efficient day trips (only so much time in Copenhagen, need to maximize what I want to see), or I use it for its offline maps for navigating (in areas with not good cell reception like Iceland and Easter island. Highly recommended. Sometimes I wish the route planning wasmore intuitive to do, easier to string things together. Almost like you could pick all the sites you can see, tell the app how many days you have... and it would make recommendations.

Sygic Travel.

The new version is essentially unusable. Another update: I notice that every review since version 5 was released still says that the app is a disaster. The previous versions had reviews that were off the charts - everyone loved it. Now everyone hates it. Seriously ... not a single good review for the new app. This is a no-brainer: the old app was wonderful the new app is a failure. Please give us the old app back. —————— Update: I’ve noticed that although the previous versions of Sygic had excellent reviews, so far, all the reviews of the new version are devastating. The developers should listen to their paying customers and give us back the excellent app we all found so useful before. ———————— I’m very sad to write this. Sygic had been my favorite travel app and I purchased the premium version. Then version 5 came out and the app is frustrating beyond words. They say “it’s all about the map”but the problem is, nobody bases their travels on a rectangular map. If I go to Switzerland, I want to know about the sites in Switzerland - not about the sites that fit in a rectangle that contains Switzerland. When I select one of my trips from my list, the map doesn’t reposition so selecting the trip is useless. The sites that come up are the same sites that are in the rectangular map that was up before. Furthermore, even if I do manually reposition the map (WHY do I have to do that at all?!), I get a tiny fraction of the sites in Switzerland. I don’t want to see the best 10 sites ... I want a list of all of them (like in the old app) so I can choose what to see. And I especially don’t want to see a list of sites outside of Switzerland that are showing up only because they’re in the same rectangular map as Switzerland. And don’t get me started on the new screen layout that only shows you a fraction of the information it showed before, requiring you to do constant scrolling (vertically AND horizontally) to see the little info you’re allowed to see. Honestly, I’m stunned that such an amazing app has been destroyed like this. The new version gives far less relevant info, far more irrelevant info, and is vastly harder to navigate. I’d pay money (again) to get the old version back.

Très bien. Je vous recommande

Recent update is terrible. I've been using Sygic since 2014, and loved it! Unfortunately the most recent update has made it unusable. I paid for premium, have a huge trip coming up, and now will have to look for another app to use. When I sent an email asking for help, they simply said it looked fine to them and they were sorry I didn't like it. VERY disappointing.

MiLe. Très bien conçu

Nice app, lots of good recommendations on cities. I'm looking at

Itinerary. I bought this for organization. It’s not that easy to use and it seems to be more of a marketing tool for travel. I did use the map download feature as I purchased premium

Map downloads don’t work after purchase. Don’t spend your money

User friendly. Self explanatory. Lots of options. Connected to a lot of places. Easy to add custom places. Especially like the accommodation feature that automatically adds your hotel or lodging to the beginning and end of your days.

Premium. It’s a shame you can’t trial it more before buying the Premium upgrade. It’s virtually worthless without upgrading.

Apps keep crashing. Keeps crashing when tries to load trips.

Great app , not so after .... I've been using this app for few years now. But recently just started to plan another trip and found that I needed to upgrade to premium in order to add sites to my plan, which is a bummer. :(

Downloads say complete but no maps avail. No app should take this much of my energy to be able to use, especially after paying for Premium!

Sygic update. Disappointed! Not user friendly

👍🏻. Really usefull

This is not intuitive. I have been trying to set up a trip from home for 1 hour and it seems impossible to connect 2 points on the map

want the old app back. I do not like the upgrade, everything is smaller now. Can;t seem to add locations with addresses to places that are not tourist destinations/hotels

Sygic app. Best travel navigation available

Money. We need to buy MONEY for this app but I have a account

Love this App!. This app is so helpful and user friendly. I am able to plan my whole three week trip on it through Europe. I would highly recommend it!

Great app. Have used it in Canada USA and Europe also Costa Rica works like a charm

5.0 .... I miss the old version where I was able to add a custom location based on an address or gps coordinates. Only having the option to add a custom location when clicking an holding directly on the map is a major step back from the previous version. Now unable to set a custom location to an accommodation for example. Where is the add button from the day view? Why we cant see the accommodation or hotel as a starting point the day of the checkout like it was in the previous version? I must say that the new interface is really beautiful though and the fact we see the whole itinerary of the day we selected on the map is a nice upgrade! Unfortunately with this new version I regret having paid for the premium service...

Amazing App. I love it. I went to Japan and the app made my trip worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Very Helpful. Fairly complete.

Great travel app. I use this app to help plan my trips and vacations. It has never let me down!

Thanks. So far I am happy with the app. Especially walking tour guide

Wow such money grab. So this app is useless without premium. Did I get it right?

Update didaster. This last release is so buggy it gets very frustrating. Constant freezes and crashes transforms this once usefull and well working app in a piece of crap. Do not update yet.

Awesome App. Day trip plans have much more functionality (can change transportation mode, order of sites, add metro/bus stops etc) than Google trip. Also shows total planned walking distance for day trip.

Great app. I really enjoyed using this app while I was traveling in Austria The app give me the things to see and also locate it on the map I truly recommend it

Good once you figure it out. Took me a while to get a hang of using this app. Almost regretted buying the premium but gave it a chance. Liking it a bit more once I figured out but not really user friendly at first. Only thing I would add right now is to the travel time between attractions, etc. is a train or bus option.

Well thought out.. A useful tool for planing a trip in advance. The app nicely estimates a travel path onto a map that can be tinkered with to estimate a daily intinerary.

Génial. Parfait pour faire les trajets et trouver d’autres attractions sur le chemin! Plusieurs restaurants non répertoriés sur l’app et difficile d’entrer un adresse.

👉 Are you looking for an Adsense alternative advertising platform?

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

Useful to organizace your time. Use it if you want to plan your local activities well and make the visit effective

Pay first.. If you are not a premium user you are done this app will not provide any information for free.

Pretty weak.. This had a few tourist sites listed. Other than that, I find Gaia more useful: Lots of map choices. Tracks my location. Routes easy to set up

Great app. This is a really great app to know any city and dont miss anything

Tremendous potential but fails. I want to like this app soo much but it’s packed with bugs and not very user friendly. The navigation does not work most of the time, the app hangs on first start for a while on my new iPhone XR, which is unacceptable, etc. You are slowly losing me as a customer, as soon as I find another well rounded travel app that’s stable.

Lack of CarPlay. With all the useless bells and Whistle added it is still missing one of the most important feature that most new car use — CarPlay . Google map has it, Waze has it .... Apple map has it .... Wish I didn’t spend the money on this ..... oh well

Can’t do anything anymore without premium. Used the free version in 2017 and it was great. Now the free version is useless. Extra star for keeping past vacation info.

Travel to Maastricht NL. App works great. I think it will continually get better as users provide updates to platform. It’s a good tool for the less experienced traveler.

A formerly excellent app is not very good after upgrade. After using version 5 for a while I like it even less than when the upgrade crept in version 4 was wonderful. It had a few quirks but was awesome for organizing trips. Then version 5 appeared and wants to be a lame substitute for google maps or apple maps with the trip planning feature tucked in as a feature-reduced minor feature Please restore the features from the old app. Adding items by dat and seeing the additional travel times was wonderful. Now the app is not very useful. Tech support is great, but they don’t put the app back it it’s previous amazing state.

Good app. This is a good app but map of iran has not been updated for a long time

Sarah. So complicated! The changes are a nuisance and a time waste, everything I’ve planned for my three week trip is in chaos! Who has time to relearn this new app, very disappointing.

Offline maps not really helpful. What good are the offline maps if the software is going to insist on attempting to provide a preview of the route using online data when sufficient data connection is not available.

Great idea, but…. Keeps crashing, too few sort filters, way to slow, needs a complete overhaul !

What happened. I used this app for awhile now after I paid for it I can not edit my trips how do I add items to my trip it was easier but with last update I don’t feel it is user friendlier... Another thing since I have the main app ‘Sygic maps’ and all maps are downloaded there.. why do I have to download offline maps again

Frustrating. My 2 upcoming trips as well as past trips are completely gone from my account. I have been going back and forth with tech support for more than 10 day’s and still can’t get it resolved.

Love the app. I have bought a few tours for my upcoming trips.

Changes. I’m not happy with the newest update. I have used this app for the last 2 years and I may switch to another app now :(

Great Concept but truly lacking. Great idea. Helps you identify landmarks and cool places to visit including mapping out direction. But if you plan on plotting places that don’t exist in their database, you’ll be forced to maintain a separate list defeating the whole purpose of a consolidated trip itinerary planner. Great but huge gap. Waste of $10.

Hussain. After the last update the app is not working I have perches some of options but it’s look like I’m losing money with your app after the update

Solid app. It’s great to use to plan your trip and find sites to visit and stay organized.

I really wanted this app to work. Worse 10$ I’ve ever spent in my entire life. This app is pure garbage. You can’t just download a map and use it, you need to mark your entire schedule and plans on it, but wait. WHAT IF I DONT HAVE A PLAN and just would like to see the map? Forget about it. This is not the map for that! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

How is this rated so high?. The search is terrible and you can’t find anything. When you try to search by street names it re directs you to a entirely different search.

Save the receipt !!!. If you buy this you will only get support if you have the original receipt. Save that receipt, or don’t expect to ever have an issue.

So expensive. Really? You're gonna make us pay that much just to see the content of the itinerary? What a rip off. Not to mention its so difficult to change anything. UI is not intuitive.

Don’t like the change. Before it was redone I loved this app and I used it to plan 3 trips. Now the list of things to see and do is gone and it’s confusing. I hate that I’m now going to have to find a new app.

misleading, offline is not free. also misleading photos on the map (on a park in a city I see a lake near a mountain) I regret every second wasted trying to give this app a chance

Not Easy. I downloaded this and tried to set up a trip. I failed completely. Not intuitive at all.

Nice app. I just downloaded the app and planned for my trips, the app is amazing (free version) however, for me as a traveller, I would like to know the admissions/fee of the attractions. Along with budgeted amount. I would recommend to add this feature (even if for paid version) and it will be great app ever.

Easy to use. Has good, well organized content .

Scam app. Be VERY careful. If you install you will be charged $25 to your Apple account without your approval. Apple should take this down! Apple directs me to YOU! Fix it. To all others, when you download it will default to a $25 premium per year subscription. If you press any key you will be subscribed and your money gone. Its a crappy app as well.

It would be great if the app didn’t lose your notes. Move an item from one day to the next, deletes any notes you had on that item. Pretty frustrating, for what would appear to be a rather simple programming task.

Plans keep disappearing. The maps are detailed and great, but every time I plan a day all my plans for other days disappear. My hotel keeps disappearing in the middle of planning, too.

Itinerary import needed. I need the ability to import my flight and lodging emails into the trip to make this app even close to as helpful as Google Trips

Great app to travel. It helps tremendously! Saves you time and money being organized.

Great. This app is wonderful. One question. I know Sygic gps navigation does not require Wi-Fi of cellular. Could that be incorporated into Sygic Travel?

Waste of time for trip planning. Wasted half a day fighting with this app trying to input a specific scenic day trip route. Good for point a to point b routing but nothing more. Waste of time and money imho.

Rather have ads. I have loved this previously, but now all my favourites features are behind a paywall. Yes I do welcome the polished app but functionality is still top priority.

Just free to download.. A waste of time, it's free to download and nothing else, I can't even try it because I have to pay. Deleted.

Hate the upgrade. Have used for several years and loved it. I'm in the middle of a trip and they pushed this upgrade through and it's a big pain! Constantly dropping. I am frustrated!

Chicago trip. Great app directions, things to do. Allows you to manage your trip

Doesn’t Work. Will only work on basically brand new cars and probably not even then. Don’t make the mistake of thinking it might work for you. I also misread the price thinking it was $4 instead of $36 or I would not have purchased.

Thanks update. It’s good improvement. thanks

Recent Update - Lost All Trips. I loved the app prior to the most recent update. Now, all of my trips have disappeared that I spent hours plugging in. I added them back and they disappeared again. The new interface is extremely confusing as well. I’ll be deleting and looking for a replacement.

Extremely useful app. Was such a great app... then they had to change everything... now it is not very user friendly :(

Great trip planning guide. Interactive and informative. Has been great for trip planning.

You have to pay to see anything. You have to pay to see anything

Can’t even find Sedona, AZ.. I just paid for premium and it’s still trying to up-sell me. No user info in login. Definitely not intuitive! Not having a good time!

Premium. A lot of information I only got if I had premium.

Great idea but did not work. Despite hours of troubleshooting, I was unable to use the app as advertised. I was in Venice and all the app would do was drag me a straight line for car transportation. If anyone knows Venice, they would know that there are no cars because the city is filled with canals, bridges, and teeny roads. I requested a refund and was told to go through the App Store. What does that mean?

All in all the best trip planner. Really like and used it for every trip
