AYH. great app!! I enjoy using this app! But there is one issue I have. When printing a copy of my results, I can hardly see the numbers. I am 69 years young. I am typing with about a size 8 font on my iPhone and can see it very well. But this is a black font on off-white background. The green & white along with size makes it difficult to read the numbers on the printout of my results. I can easily see the numbers that are somewhat larger in the Headings. section where the averages are written. I would appreciate a change in this area possibly making the value cells with a black or dark blue with white numbers so it can be easily seen or just increasing the font size would greatly improve visibility. I don’t want to change apps since I am sure this can be a easy fix. Thank you for being open to comments and suggestions.

Only rating the reports with app. As it isn’t friendly to use to give to my doctor so she can share with Medicare so they can decide or not to even refill lancets and test strips. Only info needed is date, time, glucose reading. In black ink only. I managed to make a Google Sheet with 3 months worth. All on one page. One page is all my doctor wants. One format a report has 26 columns I think. And way too many pages to print. No means to condense to what is needed. Excel once imported where I can tweak it is really way too much work. I have tried all three formats. And stand that there is a need for generated reports to be useful. And yes, I did share with correct contact my opinion a long time about it. As to the Accu-chek I think it’s the best. As to the app that it can go from good to awesome. It’s hard enough getting Medicare and Doctor seesawing back and forth while patients are being denied or waiting way too long. Pharmacy can’t do a thing. Patient can’t do a thing. But trust me, the report is a huge factor in getting what one should be able to get. On my Google Sheet in header I have my name, DOB, address, cell phone number along with Dr’s name. So once in her hands, it’s easy to not be thought someone else’s. On 1 page. 3 months. No distracting colors. My printer is black ink only. If I had colored ink I wouldn’t want to waste it on the report. Especially since some brands won’t let you use only black ink if color needs changing.

Newly Diagnosed with Type 2. I wanted an app that would automatically log my reading instead of me having to keep track. This one hooks straight to my monitor via Bluetooth. I figured with any app, my food diary would need to be a separate app but then I found this one. I can log everything right here; I can enter all of my medications, add meals even if I’m not taking my levels at that time. I can add every thing as it’s done and also notes if I’d like for better tracking. I love the premade tags. I do wish we could add our own though. Other than that, perfect app! Not to mention the cute little monster that giggles when you have good readings. It also shows your averages over time. You can even do a pdf version to print and take to take to you doctor. It’s a must have!!

Helping correct my Type 2. I started using the MySugr app in mid July of 2022. The following month in August, I went keto. Being able to track them any blood sugars, and insulin injections, concluded with an A1c of 6.7. Three months before my doctor agreed that if I had a good A1c he would take me off insulin. Well I have now achieved that goal. And I have used your app to accomplish that goal. I intend to go further by becoming prediabetic, and hopefully reversing my diabetes altogether. I love all the different aspects of data entry I can use on MySugr. I appreciate the ability to enter ketones, my weight, food choices, meds, etc. I am presently using the free version but soon will go pro. Why? Because I think I’m now ready to utilize the reporting. Thank you for this app. It’s helping me to reverse my type two diabetes.

Monster sounds- really?. I have been using AccuChek Guide meter for a long time. I recently learned that they are discontinuing the app and said to use this. So, reluctantly I am. I had a previous account form trying this app before and rejecting it. I’m not a fan. As a diabetic with retinopathy the color scheme is awful. Monster sounds- really? What am I, in third grade? (I know i can turn off the sounds…) This app is for use by adult diabetics and often with vision issues. Those should be the main concerns, not monster themes and sounds. I also use SugarMate. It’s the best app, ESP for those who use a CGM. If it works sync with a meter I’d have no need of this app. Update: I’m still not a huge fan but I’m getting used to this app. I wish the color theme and font size could be changed to be more easily readable. Have diabetic retinopathy and thus some color blindness which makes the small font and light green scheme hard to read. Also flexibility to add other meds.

Great features and easy to use!. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and overwhelmed with all the tracking necessary for the condition. This app makes it all so easy to track and report to my doctor. With my accucheck monitor I even got an upgrade to pro which was lovely. I love all the features, my four year old thinks the diabetes monster in the app is funny, and it has all around made my life easier. Clearly designed by someone who knows what it’s like. Love the app! The only thing I haven’t figured out yet that I wish would happen is if I could customize what fields show up instead of using the drop downs every time. All I need is there, it would just save some scrolling time. Still excellent, well done app.

Good but still needs work.. As a family practioner with IDDM, i would like to make the following suggestions. 1-Should have reminders at sign up to ask if you take meds or insulin. 2-Create reminders to take insulin. 3-Helpful would be an area to add a sliding scale that would follow you each day. 4-Add pulse rate with Blood pressure. 5-Change reports to add 1 week, 2 week, 4 week, 3 months. My doc is asking for weekly reports. 6-Also with reports your name should be on each heading of the report. Thanks for an other wise great app. 7-areas above the insulin should have a spot to add the types of insulin. For example: Lantus the the dosage under that. Thanks Work on a better easier set up to connect Dexcom and regular Glucometer. I use Accuchek guide for years… this back up is required when using Dexcom for double checking highs and lows and for calibration … this much more that could be added to make it an exceptional app.

Helped me drop my A1C from a 11.5 to 5.5 in six mos!. When I first got diagnosed it was really scary, and overwhelming time. This app gave me something to concentrate on, it really helped me to log all of my eating and glucose records easily. Six months later now, things have gotten better for me and my need for logging every meal became less and less necessary and less testing too under Dr’s advice. I still enjoy doing a daily log in the morning, I enjoy the apps giggle when I log a 98 it’s a great way to start your day on a healthy step in controlling your sugar . I feel every newly diagnosed person should use this app, the free one was great, but the paid gives you the photo option which I use to take a picture of my meter Incase I key it in wrong. Essentially this is a very important tool for recording your monitoring of your blood glucose and diet intake to help you lower your A1C. I highly recommend it Thank you my Shugr

Super easy, very grateful!. This app is crisply legible w/out the add-ons and is also free from advertisements! Had this app on my droid and have recently switched back to iOS and it performs exactly the same way between both systems. Type 1/ accu check- aviva; use basic edition of app. Love the update options but currently have great insurance and endrocrinoligical care. Bug issues and/or crashing/freezing have never been an issue between both systems. Incredibly grateful to have found this app as any other app I’ve used in the past will allow about ten logs before demanding a monetary upgrade. This app allows everything you need for free and saves unlimited logs since account setup. This tells me that whoever created this app finds that the health and well being of a diabetic means more than monetary success; otherwise they wouldn’t offer SO MUCH FOR FREE! Thank you thank you thank you!

Awesome app, pricey. We have enjoyed using this app to track our newly diagnosed t1 son. Over the three weeks we have been using it, we were able to earn the pro version by “taming the monster “ by logging 50 points worth of activity a day, for a week. This was not difficult as we logged every BG check, the insulin he received, what he ate and when, and how active to was. It has been a great help to us to have this format to do it. That hearing said, if we didn’t earn the pro version by our frequent use, there’s no way we would have bought the pro version ourselves. Everything with diabetes will nickle and dime you and this app is no exception. But we would have kept using the limited version indefinitely because it is totally adequate for our needs and we enjoyed that version as well. I’d recommend this app to anyone looking to keep good track of their or their child’s diabetes, especially before you are approved for and using your CGM or pump.

Fabulous app for all types of diabetes. First: premium version offers unlimited strips for $49 per month!!!!! Ok now that I got that out of the way. This app is amazing. I tried several and this is by far my favorite. The app itself as a stand-alone is easy to use and lets you enter the usual blood sugars, insulin, carb counts, etc. plus notes on what you ate and then you can also tag the type of food and what you were doing (exercising, at work, etc). The app syncs directly with accu chek meters. It can also sync with Apple health (and by extension with garmin or with One Touch meters). By far the best feature is the premium subscription which gets you unlimited test strips and in app access to a certified diabetic educator. This has been incredibly helpful for me and is very reasonably priced. The monster animation and level of humor in the app is fun too. I hope that they continue to add challenges and/or make the challenges automatic (like Apple does if you have an Apple Watch). Also I’d love a way to input sleep for tracking purposes (like I input what time I go to bed, what time I fall asleep and what time I get up in the AM and the app calculates my total sleep hours).

No dark mode?!. Diabetics are often also low vision, and not having the option for dark mode is really frustrating!! And since the last update, there is weirdly even more blinding white than previously. As a PRO customer, I’d also appreciate more customization of the content in general. Like being able to move the graphics around so that the ones I use most are at the top, and/or being able to hide the ones I don’t use at all. Did I mention dark mode? Also, being able to adjust the font size - because again, low vision. Otherwise, it’s the best diabetes tracking app I’ve used (and I’ve pretty much tried them all) since I was Dx’ed years ago. Depending on accessibility features being added (or at least considered) between now and the next renewal for my PRO subscription, I may just bail and give up on tracking from my phone at all. There is no integration with my Libre3 CGM either (which is a Libre issue, I know), and it’s a little spotty with AppleHealth integration, so that’s also frustrating. Efficiency is probably the most important factor for me, especially when trying to manage ALL the things with regard to my health.

What happened?. I’ve been using this app and the subscription service since my diagnosis in 2015. Overall it’s been an amazing app for my needs BUT in the last few months it’s become really buggy, unbelievably slow and crashes all of the time. I turned off it’s access to apple health thinking that would help as it often cant seem to connect, but nope...still slow like 1999 dialup. It’s a dilemma because I have so much data there that I don’t want to switch to a different app but it’s getting super frustrating to deal with a long wait for every field I fill out, then a crash that makes me have to fill it out all over again...all while my food is getting cold. I have a iPhone XR that’s caught up with all updates and this is the only app on my phone that seems to have a problem so I don’t think it’s my phone. I don’t know. I do love this app otherwise though so I’m hoping something gets worked out.

Love it. I’m not into rating apps. I have to tell you it’s been fun having this one. The stupid funny noises it makes. Brings a stupid smile and laughter to my face. On a more serious note! The interaction you have Im with the app keep you going. You now how you numbers are doing. And it’ll show you your results. Keep in mind be true to yourself. If you drop the ball that day, we’ll thank fully we can reset and start over the next day. This app help keep motivated. Well for me, it has! I’m watching what I eat, and at what times. Also you can go back and check on the things that help bring your numbers down. I’m type 2 diabetic, it app again has help me in more ways the one. I’m very honest person, I’ll leave reviews on hotels, restaurants, or any other location that I’ve been to, but Not on applications. Thank you guys for developing something use, and fun at the same time. 👍

Great app, missing one convenience for gestational diabetes. This app is great overall. I’m using for gestational diabetes, and at my first meeting with a diabetes counselor, they were really impressed with the data report mySugr generated. I love that it syncs data automatically and wirelessly from my glucose tester. I just wish I could set a different target range for my fasting blood sugar than the post-meal blood sugar. The color-coding of readings makes it really easy to scan for values outside the target range, but fasting numbers (at least for gestational diabetes) have a lower target cap than post-meal numbers so it’s not as easy for me to spot when my fasting number is too high. I also sometimes wish there was a field for general notes, not just the meal notes (which I sometimes end up using to make other notes on the situation) but since that workaround exists, it bothers me less.

Impressed. Created with all the possibilities in mind plus the little icon is fun. From testing before a meal to testing after exercising. Charts your numbers and graphs it so it’s easier to determine when, where and how to pace yourself, the type of foods you’re eating and the intervals in which to eat. For someone like me that could go an entire day before realizing I didn’t eat this makes me accountable to my body’s needs. Helps me understand my symptoms and how my body acts and reacts to foods. With a lot of allergies and being prone to bouts of hypoglycemia I’m in a better place knowing what brings my sugars down to dangerous levels and how to counteract it. Definitely worth the download and the money. Well thought out app. Kudos to the creators.

Plz recommend to newly diagnosed T1D. I really wish the endo team would have set me up with relion premier and this app at the beginning.. the application keeps you engaged with challenges, games, .. which would help a lot for the newly diagnosed and overwhelmed patient. I was rushed onto CGM at beginning.. was not comfortable with that .. at all. Got burned out super fast to the point of ignoring needs. Once the insurance once again screwed with me on the CGM coverage… a friend recommended the relion premier bc of the application that will capture the data (vs writing it all down) .. that’s all the endo really wants. .. consistent data… you can print or send a PDF with all that same data a costly CGM will show!!! I love the app, bc yes it keeps me engaged and wanting to complete the challenges. I love hearing the monster giggle and coo when interacting with the app. It cracks me up. 20 dollars at Walmart .. if you’re not comfy with on the body sensor .. If you don’t have insurance or underinsured… cheap , affordable. Easy to use.

Love it. This is a nice little blood glucose monitor with some cute features that somehow make taking glucose readings somewhat more bearable. It's a fun and innovative way to track blood glucose. You can export logs to CSV or PDF with the pro version. I just found out today that syncing with an Accucheck meter unlocks the pro features for free. That is an awesome perk and just skyrocketed this app to my top three, not just for diabetes apps but apps in general. My only minor complaint is why are there no “waking” or “morning” tags? The app seemingly has tags for everything under the sun except any related to waking and taking the first reading of the day. I don’t always eat right after waking and I’m not always fasting overnight, so the fasting and before meal tags aren’t always applicable. Otherwise, a phenomenal app.

Thanks for making a more abundant and long life possible!. Really enjoying this app!! For the first time in 20 years my diabetes is under control! My doctor LOVES the detailed reports! I love the ease of operation and entries. My eyesight is improving and I am losing weight! I do not feel hungry all the time and I have a tangible way of seeing my progress. If there was one thing I would ask for improvement would be a place where we could list other medications we take - as a heart patient Ibhave several meds I take that I would also want to log here. Timing is important. In the meantime I an abreviating the meds with letters so I can log them too. This has been a good work around. Perhaps also someWhere to log fluid intake also. Jus a thought. For me this has been a life saver. I love it!! Thanks!

Keeps me motivated to get 3 readings a day.. I’ve never been fond of testing. So I never tested regularly. Then I had my A1C checked and found it had crept up to 12.9! I had to go buy a meter and start testing. When I saw my meter (Reli On Platinum) worked with an app that would give an estimated A1C I was very pleased. After a week of testing 3 times a day it gave me my first reading and it was right on the money. However, when I had my A1C retested in a lab a couple months later the reading I got was 8.5 and the mySugr app was telling me my A1C was 6.5 or thereabouts. That is the main reason for my 4 star rating. I like the app, it still keeps me motivated to check my blood glucose. It gives me an idea of what my A1C is. I do not understand how to use the rest of the app. Like adding foods and medications. I wish that part was more clear how to use or there were better instructions.

MySugr has changed my life!. The MySugr app has changed my life I am a 13 year old diabetic( I have had mine for a little over 3 years) that is very stubborn when it comes to writing down my blood sugar numbers but when I got this app it suddenly became fun! It felt like it was a challenge to train the monster by the end of the day which can be difficult at times but it still helps me! Plus I’m like always on my phone so when my parents say log you sugars I can just switch apps! I love this app because within 7 days it can tell you your average A1C is which can help you before you have a doctors appointment! It is good for younger diabetics and older ones like me that don’t like to chart their numbers!😂 You can even name your monster mine is currently named Chomper! Hope you all get this app because it is amazing! And as always log your numbers diabetics!💉

All I need but…. I love this app! I used it a while back when it was first created and love it then and now! I really appreciate the challenge that really encourages me to test and makes it fun. I love how they collaborated with JDRF to make a challenge to help donate money. The little monster is super cute! It really encourages me to keep him happy. Having a chart where you can have a summary for all the meals, BGs, and patterns all In one place to show your doctor is super easy and helpful! The only thing I was love to see in the the future is having a catalog or database of all the carbs food/ nutrients info need to help figure out how much carbs your eating and help calculate the right amount. So you can search up the amount of carbs needed for your sandwich and don’t have to go searching on the web or calorie king.

This is the best diabetes app ever! GET THE BUNDLE!. I was a diabetic with little control. I had given up. I ran into this app and it all changed. I started using the app and it was fun. I wanted to use it. I bought the bundle that came with the Accu-Chek Guide Meter and UNLIMITED STRIPS. I started poking my fingers all the time! Wanting that control. My A1C was 9.6. I learned that with more knowledge came more control and an interest in a diabetic diet and lifestyle changes that have helped me noticeably lose weight. I can’t wait to see what my next A1C is. I’m sure it’s going to be a lot better. Oh I forgot. With the bundle comes a Diabetic Educator right in the app. Well worth the 49 dollar investment each month. No appointments needed just message her in the app. If you combine the bundle, a new meter lance and lancets all you can poke strips and an educator you’re making money to save your own life. This was the best medical decision I’ve ever made. Tame your monster! Get MySugr today!

Love the mySugr app!. I just found out I was diabetic one week ago. I searched for apps, tried 3 or 4, then found this one. It’s the best by far, and the more I learn about it, the more I like it! I’m absolutely positive that if I was not using this app I would be hopeless, and not tracking my blood sugar or carbs well at all. The mySugr app keeps me engaged and WANTING to track my info, thanks to all the little games for points and rewards. I’m not nearly as overwhelmed and discouraged as I was one week ago. And when my blood glucose reading it higher than I think it should be, I can go back and figure out why, what did I eat and when? What did I eat the last time I shot up? Being able to analyze and learn more about how my body reacts to food, medication and exercise that’s to this App is invaluable. Thank you you from the bottom of my heart to the creators! Renee 54yrs old in Michigan

Helpful even if you’re not diabetic. I started using this app to determine when my blood sugar levels were dropping low as I’ve been known to have dangerously low blood sugar levels without any identifiable cause when I was a bit younger. I now have normal blood sugar ranges. I track them to see if they are dropping low or if they have begun to become high. This app keeps a great record of your blood sugar and it allows you to print out the information as well (if you have a Bluetooth capable meter or regularly and honestly chart your blood sugar levels) it gives you so many options when it comes to documenting what was going on when you took your blood sugar so it gives a broader picture of what might be impacting your blood sugar levels throughout the day. I give it 5 stars as I’ve had no issues with it, I love that they send out supplies when needed and I love the ease of navigation on the app. The coaches are great as well!

My sug’r. I like just about everything about the app, except the sound your app makes when it does anything it considers noteworthy. It’s almost as annoying as the card reader at the grocery store. Aside from that, it works, and it keeps track of my readings without me having to do much. Tanx! Three days later… I’m still learning about the app, how I can use it, and what it can do for me and my health. I have started tracking my daily drug regimen. I like that the app remembers my regular meds from day to day. I have not yet found instructions or a help screen, both of which will be useful when I find them. I got a bit confused with the list of my drugs and the numbers on the right hand side of the screen. I mistakenly thought the numbers indicated the doses in milligrams. Actually, they represent the number of pills that I take. Ooooh. Now I get it. For me, I think having the app remember the number of pills would be helpful; it would save a little time, AND it would lessen the chance of making a mistake in reporting the drugs I take. Thanks for developing the app and for sharing it with us. Please continue to develop the app and keep sharing them with us. Dan Frain

My most used app. Love it.. I use this for tracking glucose, blood pressure, carb intake, and a1c. I use another app to log my food and calculate carbs and I manually enter the carb values in mySugr. I also use another app for tracking activity and for tracking my weight, and mySugr imports this data with no problem via Apple Health. I started with just the regular version and then the pro version. But I needed the unlimited strips so I got the bundle. I’m very happy to have the bundle because the diabetes educator has been wonderful. Best things: I can see the data easily in the logbook. Like the way the glucose, carb, and blood pressure values are listed in separate columns. Like the ability to describe the meals and tag food categories for each meal. Also like the separate note field and general tags like “before meal”, “eating out”, etc. Love the monster and the cute sounds. Love the reports. Wish the app had the following: Easy way to jump back to the top in the log book. Larger numbers for the time values in the logbook. When making the entry I can see the time easily, but once data has been logged, the time value is in small font. If you can’t make the font larger, maybe add ability to zoom on the time when press and hold on the time? Thanks for this app and the bundle service.

Excellent App. First app I’ve seen that is more concerned with the health and wellness of the user than they are about dinging you for money. Kudos! Easy to use. Syncs with other apps and several devices like Glucose Monitor, BP cuff, Weight scale, and Apple Watch. Automatically downloads information from other devices or the information can be added manually. It’s actually fun with the little “monster” and challenges to play. User can even earn the Pro version of the game through completing challenges. User can journal every facet of their day and health. It keeps track of your long term glucose readings and lets users see trends over long periods. I wish it would have a few more preset icons like “hungry” or user added icons for when the set ones don’t apply, but not really a huge issue. Needs a pop up or guide to the owners manual for the first time you boot it up. It took me a bit to figure it out and find that during the first few usages. When doing the challenges click the start button at the bottom of the page as the start button at the top doesn’t work. Also, start the challenge before taking any readings as any readings taken before starting a challenge aren’t registered.

I’m simply blown away. When I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes I went into data overdrive trying to get a hold of the problem and find a solution that works for me and my lifestyle. One of the key things I wanted was a solid, practical, and well designed tracker to help me paint a real world picture of my blood sugar daily. Of course the App Store doesn’t lack for applications and I downloaded nearly a dozen before settling on mySugr. Many asked for a lot of personal information with little guarantee of data protection. Others didn’t have enough options for data tracking. Some where simply ugly and unintuitive. I’ve never been so impressed with an app. I feel in control of my data, engaged to use it, and have already impressed my dietician with the data I’ve collected. I loved it so much I went to their site to see if they where hiring a web app developer lol. It’s obviously an app that is made by people who love what they do.

New LADA Diabetic. I was very recently diagnosed with LADA diabetes. My road to diagnosis was a difficult one with every medical professional denying that I was a T1 diabetic and trying to treat me like a T2. Thanks to your app and a friend who is a certified diabetes educator, I am starting to get a handle on my life again. The app contains so many features that made navigating my new normal easy - from the user friendly format, to the hourly adjustable ratios, to the well thought-out data fields. In just a couple weeks I have managed to bring my average of 250 down to 165 and continue to trend down into healthy ranges. It has helped my kids understand my diagnosis and they love “feeding” my monster to see if I made him happy or angry, LOL. I cannot thank the creators of this app enough for the support it has given me as I navigate this life changing process. If I had one suggestion, it would be to partner with or integrate a carb counting program or link. I’ve been using a few different online options but having a built in function would be amazing.

Oh, My! I Wish I Had Known About-face This Sooner!. I was diagnosed with Type 2 several years ago. After my hospitalization forum ketoacidosis, I was put on insulin. Since then, I've tried several apps for tracking my progress, eventually settling on two apps to keep track of my medications and my eating habits. Recently I changed my health insurance provider, which didn't cover my old meter and supplies, and I was switched to the Accu-Chek Guide Meter. I downloaded this app, paired it with my iPhone, and haven't looked back. My test results are automagically sent to my iPhone as soon as they're read. Oh, and now I use this one app to do what I previously need two for. It records more details than my previous device, and does a better job of letting me know my progress.

MySugr helped me put “D” in remission. You can’t fix what you don’t understand. MySugr helped me keep track of, and finally understand, how to take control of my diabetes. I was diagnosed with type 2 in October (A1c 11.4). I pricked my finger before and after meals, before and after exercise, every morning, every night. I wanted to know how diabetes worked and what affected it. By meticulously tracking everything (including using MyFitnessPal to track nutrition), in 3 months, I was down to an A1c of 5.9. What I found by my tracking was that I could bring my glucose down 30-50 points by exercising 15 minutes. Over these 3 months, I also lost 30lbs (from 270 to 240). I now wake up in the morning with an average 115 glucose reading. According to MySugr, this should bring me to a non-diabetic 5.6. I keep testing continually. I’m 51 with small children… I want to be around for a long time. Thank you, MySugr!!

Precise, Fast, Superb. I have been tracking my BG for about 4 years now in IGluco. I have been tracking what I eat for about the same time in MyFitnessPal. This app pulls it all together. I still record my BG in iGluco because it comes to mySugr automatically. Without MyFitnessPal I would not know how many carbs I eating so I still must use it but the Carbs don’t come automatically. I sent that suggestion to support and they responded with a yes. Since the BG comes from iGluco years of data were imported day 1 and I was rewarded with an estimated A1C day 1 that was exactly the same as my two week old laboratory exam. The reports and the motivation that come from this app made it something I knew that I never want to live without and paid my money in the first week. When I took my reports to my doctor he said this is very important. Always bring the last two weeks with you when you come. Well done guys keep developing. Import more nutrition data, and add it to the reports. Those reports save and extend lives. I could cry.

Better than paper. When my doctor handed me a piece of paper, I searched for something better and found MySugr. It tracks almost everything I need. I was surprised that my diabetes educator had not heard of it. I like that it estimates the A1C and the monster is cute. I like the idea of the package but I don’t need unlimited test strips-just the coach. Not worth paying extra for. To make it perfect, integrate with MyFitnessPal so I don’t have to enter meals in 2 places AND integrate with Freestyle Libre. This is such a need that I suspect you could charge a reasonable amount for it. I rarely use my Accucheck meter which does integrate. I would also like the ability to enter my own medicine not on the pre-defined list. The last thing I would like is the ability to rearrange or hide some of the icons. I rarely use some and have to go over 2 screens for those I use often. Great concept just keep improving.

Enjoy MYSUGAR. I like MYSUGAR for automatically tracking values from my ACCUCHECK meter provided to me by the VETERANS CLINIC. I use MYSUGAR as a journal to record everything including my QARDIO weight and blood pressure readings, my insulin doses, my food types and carb estimates, as well as my medications and notes about my health, events, and activities. Linking with data from APPLE HEALTH makes it nearly universal, and now I sync it with data from my DEXCOM cgm. The only complaint I have is DEXCOM doesn’t accept data from either MYSUGAR or APPLE HEALTH. So I find double entering carbs, insulin and finger stick calibration values into DEXCOM to be onerous. I realize MYSUGAR has no control over DEXCOM. But perhaps the developers can get together for the benefit of their users to be more universal in exchanging data and in automatically recording/sharing health measurement device data. Accepting only certain app data while stonewalling other apps seems only to benefit the developers and any profitable agreements they may have. I appreciate MYSUGAR seeking to be a universal support app for diabetics. Keep up the good work.

Great so far!. I’ve only been using this app for about a week. It’s been working well, however I’m confused about the difference between the free version and the pro version. What are the differences between the two? What are the added benefits of the pro version? I Love how well it syncs with my AccuChek Guide monitor. I don’t need a coach but that’s the only upgrade option offered to me in the app ... so I’m not upgrading because I’m afraid I’ll loose all my other data! Also, I like the challenges, but they can be confusing to figure out. Like the Greenhorn one ... I keep thinking I’m doing it correctly ... but then it’s telling me I’m failing! Over all a solid app ... but user direction could be improved. I also love the reports feature and how easy it is to use the app — it’s nice that the free option is so robust too (as I mentioned above, I’d upgrade but I’m afraid of loosing my data).

Make tracking easy. New to being diabetic but this app tracks all my blood sugars if you have the Apple Watch it connected to their exercise app and keeps track of that you can log your food quite a heavy little program and if you want you can actually pay for the premium version which gives you unlimited test strips. Update! So I was just diagnosed 3 months ago as having diabetes. My A1C was in the 10.9 range at the time. I found this app just days after and began tracking my levels very frequently and regularly. With the information I was able to adjust according. I added a daily 45 minute workout. (Never did before) and within 3 months my A1C was 5.4. My doctor was amazed and wants to share this app with others. He recommended I continue to track frequently and maintain what I am doing. He also decreased my medication and may take me off meds altogether. Thanks MySugr for helping me get my health back on the right track!

Nice App. For young diabetics it's cute trying to tame your monster. You can tap on it and tickle it and it laughs. They have fun challenges to create a fun environment that encourages you to poke your finger and do your testing. I know they have Continuous Blood Glucose Systems now. But for those whose insurance doesn't cover it... I have fun with it at 55. It's easy to journal your glucose, food diary, exercise and oral medication, vitamins etc and insulin with carb correction. If for some reason you use more than one meter you can manually enter the information in if it's not able to be connected. With the inexpensive paid version, the great part is you can download, save and print out a nice report for you and your diabetic team. My endocrinologist and dietitian love my printouts. Try the free version first if you're not sure you'll like it. You can always upgrade.

Informative as well as fun!. This app is fun as well as informative. Definitely helps me to manage my diabetes and follow the trends that allow both my doctor and me to treat my diabetes well. Example: I had a severe hypoglycemic event which initially looked like a stroke. I had been giving myself regular insulin in increasing doses for 3 days related to erroneously very high glucose readings from my old glucometer and strips. Definitely a mechanical issue rather than biological. Anyway, 3 boluses of D10 in the ambulance reversed the symptoms. The hospitalist from my admission to stabilize me instructed me to stop my Metformin 500mg twice a day as I didn’t need it anymore. I went from a HgA1c of 5.6 to 8.2!!!! With the information from this app (plus a new glucometer and strips) I was able to show the trends and patterns as I was gradually put back to the original dose of Metformin and the return to a healthy “Normal” HgA1c. Having diabetes is hard. This app makes it easier to manage and even a little bit fun.

Helpful, get out what you put in. I have no complaints, especially considering it is free and works as it is supposed to. Like with all things in life, you get out of this app as much data and tracking as you put in. I am a type 1 who was diagnosed late in life(37) and am struggling in a bad way trying to get my glucose levels under control and lower my A1C, and when using the app properly(remember to turn Bluetooth back on) it has been a great tool to track not only my blood sugar, but my diet as well. What I also have enjoyed about the app is how it helps to explain differences in types of food and exercise and lifestyle in general. All that said, I am more than happy with the app and would recommend to anyone who could use some help tracking glucose levels, insulin intake, and diet. Also, the sounds it makes are pretty funny.

Could be so much more useful. If this is the only app you use, it’s possibly adequate. If you track with multiple apps, it’s next to useless. CGM Data is not entered into the logbook other than as a graph. This means none of that information is used in estimating A1c, or other parts of the app. My meters (Accuchek Guide/GuideMe/Connect) often fail to import readings, necessitating multiple attempts. It would be easier to just keep a paper logbook, which is what this app is supposed to eliminate and make easier. The continued lack of a bolus calculator in the US version is also detrimental. (It’s been pending FDA approval for the several years I’ve been using the app. At least that part of the old Accuchek Connect app is still functional.) While menu items can sometimes be rearranged (data entry), the icons cannot, which means much side scrolling to make some selections. While my experiences have been negative with the app, I give full appreciation to the support staff. The developers could take some lessons.

Great App to gain Perspective. This app is a great tool to gain some great perspective and understanding of life with diabetes. MY LIFE with Diabetes. Being able to see and really analyze what causes the ups and downs in my blood sugar, and really think about what is happening at that moment I’m logging a reading. Im by no means an expert on the subject of how to properly manage this disease. But now I have a much greater understanding of all the conditions, aswell as the actions that can contribute to me feeling great or terrible. I’ve been in denial for some time of what causes the good or bad days. This highly animated app gives a very reasonable and realistic approach to wanting to dig into the data. It’s only as good as what you log. And how honest you can be with yourself, and hold yourself accountable to logging the truth about your day, your activities, stresses, mood, anxiety, and poor food/drink decisions. Something as simple as seeing and comparing how different levels of activity affect your blood sugar is not only good in real time, but also to be able to go back and identify patterns, good, bad, and sometimes the ugly. This app has served me well, and I am grateful for it. Hopefully you will see the positives for yourself as well. Cheers to your good path to better health.

Fantastic app-THE ABSOLUTE BEST CHOICE. UPDATE: I just began tracking my weight and exercise. It’s amazing. It’s A MUST HAVE! I was previously using the Accu-check application for several years, even though I had also downloaded this one. My original view of the application, was that it wouldn’t automatically transfer the previous data stored on my device, or from the online database. I had unfortunately missed the sunset deadline to manually make the transition, I had temporarily stopped tracking my sugar, which was a big mistake. By the time I remembered why I keep feeling spacey was probably due to either a sugar high or an excessive low, which was mostly the case. I quickly found out that my favorite app “Accu-Check” was retired and replaced with the “My Sugar” app. I had missed the Free “PRO transfer offer period”, and proceeded to set-up and sink my account and device. I was quickly pleased, after syncing my device, I found that everything stored on my monitor transferred completely. I was so excited. I have since explored the app, and see where I can add additional details about my day, including my current weight, pictures of meals, how I feel and more. This is one of the absolute best Sugar apps on the market, which works with a large variety’s of blood glucose meters!

I Love This App! HIGHLY Recommend. Formerly used no longer supported AccuCheck recommended App. MySugr is easy to set up and as simple or complex to use as I want it to be. After I link it to my measuring device I can just let it record my Blood/Glucose settings and produce default reports or I can customize it to reflect my healthcare professional’s guidance and my specific needs. There are some oddities when customizing [ but can be worked out by selecting “More/Profile & Settings/Blood Sugar Settings/— Set & link with Glucose measuring device AND set Glucose range settings (according to your age and Healthcare Professional targets) — AND (strangely) set Body Weight, & Height units under “Food”], but the included instructions and support will quickly answer any questions you might have.”

Good app. I have an Accu chek Guide glucose meter. So far it has worked and has been stable. When I downloaded this app a couple years ago. It didn’t work well and it crashed a lot. This app is helping me with understanding my glucose levels. So I can manage my condition. One thing I don’t like about the is app. Is the amount of of tests to get an estimated A1C level. It requires me to test 3 times a day for 7 consecutive days. I would like to see an average based on a certain amount test over 10-14 days in a month. I only twice a day. Another feature that would be nice. Is to have the ability to log or record days I have exercised. One thing I discover is that this app hasn’t synced with Apple health. I have tried to sync it with Apple health. I will keep trying. Update: I got Apple Health to sync. It even logged my exercise type from Apple health. I had to dig into my Apple profile settings and I found my sugar app and the settings was turned off. Turned everything to allow. It it working great!

Really good! Could easily be great.. I’ve been using this app (I pay for the Pro subscription) for over a month now to track my glucose, diet, supplements, and medication for gestational diabetes. I love that it integrates with my Apple Health so it automatically shows how much I’ve exercised, the steps I’ve taken, and even confirms my glucose readings as my Contour Next app also integrates with Apple Health. The automatically generated reports allow me to easily keep my midwife updated on my readings. My one and only complaint and the only reason I’m docking a star is this: why can’t I see my scheduled reminders and update them? Once you input a meal the app allows you to set a reminder. However, once it’s set it does not display that you’ve even set one anywhere within the app or allow you to edit it. I’d also love to be able to set a daily reoccurring timer within this app for my supplements and medication since I also track it here, but there’s none to be found. This would be a really simple add that would take this app up to perfect!

Incredible App. I’ve been looking for an app like this for a long time. I had one similar a few years ago but for some reason they discontinued it. The best thing I can say is not only how easy it is to use but that it gives you a A1C average. I won’t know how accurate (close) it is until I go to the dr in late July for my Diabeties (type 2)check up. I really like the way it shows your daily average & the whole screen layout so you can see everything at once. I wish there was a way to put in order the items that you chose when you record your readings like before meals, after meals etc. I would like to arrange them in the order of importance to me & all the other items that I don’t use or don’t use much I could move to the end. Also when I record what I eat if there were some way of bringing up something you had recorded before ( I eat out a lot because of traveling so I’m stuck basically eating the same things because I know how that food affects my blood sugar). Just a few ideas to throw around. I definitely highly recommend MySugar App!!!

By far the best glucose level tracking app!. I used an old app for many years but eventually it became incompatible with latest iOS and I had to change. I tried 6 different apps and this one trounced the competition at the time. That was 3 years ago, and since then, the app has gotten better in many ways. This service and development teams are incredible. Super-responsive, they understand when you have issues and and I’m constantly impressed with how quickly they’re able to implement changes and get them out to their users. One complaint about a recent change: If you have a meter that syncs entries directly with the app, you no longer have the ability to adjust the time of the entry. I liked to do this for times when I end up waiting 15-45 mins after testing to take my pre-meal shot, since getting precise timing of insulin injections is more important than precise timing of BG readings while fasting. Sadly, this is no longer an option and instead the only option is to delete the synced entry and recreate it manually, which is MUCH more painful. I wish they would restore users’ the ability to manage their own data how they see fit.

Very good simple app. I’m retired and I’m on limited income so I m grateful the developers allowed people like me to use the basic free functions . I’m pre diabetic so I need to use this to track my meals, medication and blood sugar spikes . I am able to record my glucose reading , select the meals I’ve eaten, enter the medication I take and this app captures it all . I record these for each meal . I synchronized this app to pick up BP data too from My Health app and it works very well. I can now see my daily trends of BP and glucose , meals I are and medication which is exactly what I want to see to control my blood sugar and prevent diabetes. I am grateful for the development of this app and the kindness of the owners to allow these free functions for those of us with limited incomes. Thank you so much

GUI is terrible. But it reliably syncs to meter. I have a hobby of monitoring glucose and other risk factors. And after the Roche app became useless I discovered this one. It syncs reliably and that part is great. However- it has to be the ugliest graphic interface I’ve ever seen. Colors are lime green on white, and you can’t change that. People with diabetes often have eye issues and non-contrasting colors are awful for their use. And the silly illustrations must be somewhat interesting to someone under 10 years old, but other than that they’re annoying, confusing and distracting. It greatly reduces the value of what is otherwise a very reliable engine under the hood. If the developer would at least allow users to change the colors on the “skin” that would be a first good step. And again, the weird round circles and giggling monster sounds are really not adding value to most of the target audience and I wish they’d consider remodeling that.

Great app. Great little app, working everything out was a little tricky..but only coz I’m wrapping my head around being a diabetic..it’s easy to use once you know what ur doing. And it’s not cheaply made which I find quite attractive to be entering health details into. The reports option is amazing And gives great insight to how your managing things

All you need for Diabetes. mySugr is by far one if not the best blood sugar levels and food. It gives you great insight into your daily planning of the treatment of your diabetes. All this is done in such a fun way, which is especially important for kids who have to learn how to manage their diabetes. Don’t forget to download this app and give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Really good app with an exceptional interface. The UI couldn’t be any more easier to use. I have been using this for a week now and it’s been great. The estimated H1ac value is an added bonus. It would be great to track water intake with reminders to help out on that front. Going to give it a few more weeks before I get the paid full version.

Fantastic fun app.. It was exhausting, for years recording your levels in a book. Looking for a pen, getting blood all over the book and the ultimate misplacing your book. The app allows you to easily record your levels. Your phone is always near you or not too far away. Allowing a comprehensive view of how you are doing during the day or night. Gives you quirky feedback. Because your phone is with you all the time, you have it on hand for your Doctor to look at easy to read records and even print it to a hard copy. You can even turn your records into a file to send to your Medicos. They can see over any period they wish! It’s fun to use! “I don’t seem to cringe now”. It’s so easy, simplifying when I have to take my BGL. Well worth going pro.

Awesome. Room for improvement. I absolutely love this app and the monster but there are features in other apps that I would appreciate in this one. One is an option to add hypo treatment specifically, separate to carbs. I’d also like to be able to link up the libre but I think that’s a problem with the libre, not the app. There is one or two other items that could be tweaked or added but overall it’s my favourite. I am considering subscribing when we switch to the dexcom

Frustrating data problems. This app loses pairing occasionally also latest updates won’t work if using LibreLink and you lose all yes all your data when you try to pair device again in fact they are so proud of this feature they advise you to delete saved data to get pairing working again very annoyed and angry at the cavalier way they save or don’t save your data which is really the number one priority of my sugar or apparently not just lost a months worth so p155ed at this crappy app will be looking at alternatives or back to excel spreadsheets

Simple and intuitive. I have been recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes, and so am new to testing and tracking my blood sugars. My blood sugar monitor connects via Bluetooth to upload my data. The app is simple and intuitive, allowing me to tag the readings in relation to meals and activity. As I am new to managing diabetes, this has been invaluable in helping me to track and modify my diet and exercise. Highly recommended!

Duplicate data. The app continues to import duplicate data. When travelling to a different time zone the app not only continued to import duplicate activity data it also imported the same activity data under the new time zone giving the same activity appearing 3 times. I am trying to produce a report for my doctor that is correct. Activity data is exchanged through Apple health, Strava and Garmin Connect. The app allows more than one activity to occur at the same time. The app cannot allow for daylight saving time. Too much time wasted deleting duplicate entries.

Great app but missing fasting limits. This app is really great but it congratulates me in the morning even when my fasting limits are high. This is because you enter your upper and lower blood glucose limits, but you can’t enter a fasting limit (which is much lower than post meal limits). It would be so great if the app creators could add a fasting limit option that then goes along with the fasting button when you enter your fasting levels in the morning 😊

Written by and for K-Pop fans. After using the Accu-check and Connect app on my PC for over 10 years, Roche decided to end support for this excellent database program at the end of 2022. They had just one suggestion, this app? Couldn’t they have done better? This program was written by and their target audience is a 15 year old Korean K-Pop loving teenager. This is the result of pandering to the lowest common denominator. The connect problem included other parameters of health, such as exercise, blood pressure, illness and many other factors of overall health; not just an obsession with blood sugar levels. I was also able to call up trend, daily and weekly reports for my doctor to assist him with ongoing issues. The MySugr (can’t even spell the words right) doesn’t allow me this flexibility. Shame on you Roche for leading us astray. The worst part of this is that now I am forced to use this app on my phone, not my 22” monitor, requiring glasses, just to read all the fine print. Roche, you have failed me and others. What were you thinking when you suggested this app for us to use?

My Sugr rocks!. I can’t rave enough about this app! I live by it. It Helps me manage my blood sugar in so many ways. I use the bolus calculator to determine my dose. I change my ratios depending on the weekly data. I can see my trends as it’s paired seamlessly with my accuchek meter and emotionally it also helps me by keeping me accountable and realistic. Seeing my trends over months gives me the bigger picture. There are also real people behind the app living with diabetes too. If you want to really feel confident with your blood sugar management get this app!!

Very helpful app. Fabulous app for keeping on track with diabetes. Fill in as much or as little as you feel like. Links with my glucose monitor and across devices, so even when I’m feeling super lazy, I will at least have a record of my glucose reading, and even in my country’s measurements. Not difficult to operate, i’m not very technologically savvy and i have no trouble with it. I’d 100% recommend.

Good app. It’s a great app, helps me record all my readings, but I would love if they had more options, like if you were to click on breakfast and you had options to put in what you actually had for breakfast, that way you could keep a record of what specific things spike your blood sugar levels.

Best Diabetic app out there. Not only does this app easily record my numbers from my BGS machine, I can also record all my medications, carb count, and record how I was feeling. This app is perfect to show my doctor and has really helped me as a diabetic for 17 years, this is the first app I’ve properly used and has properly helped. Before finding this app I had a lot of trouble, with recording and having any want to do my diabetes. Now I am going 1 month strong with much better levels.

My giggly sugar. Very good app. Don’t need to do anything as the reading transfers straight to my mobile phone. I sometimes have to check my Bluetooth connection as you will notice that the reading does not transfer to the phone. Overall, very satisfied with the app. PS. You can also send reports to your diabetes clinic via email too.

So easy and informative. Once you make the connection to your phone with the Accucheck, then do not have to do anything further. You can then see all your readings and make informative decisions on where you can do better with your diet and foods you eat. It is very easy to use, great product.

My tablet gives you a 5 stars. I do really love your app but I wish you could make it zero in on the phones. Even with my glasses on I can barely read the "food types" that go with the little pictures when recording information. Now for what I love… it’s great that my glucometer syncs with the app so I don’t have to remember numbers. I love the photo options for food. I’ve used it for nearly a week and I really like it.

Controlling blood sugar levels made colourful. This is really well designed, easy to use and actively helps you manage your diary of diet, insulin doses and blood test results. The ability to see different time periods with a mere swipe is simple but very effective. I can’t wait until my next entry to see if today’s inputs earn me green status!

Best of a bad bunch. Clunky and non-responsive on occasion. Obviously the company is more interested in marketing nonsense instead of providing a reliable tool for diabetics. Recently the download data option stopped working. Also, the data results were being influenced by the various time zones I travel through. Phoned the company and whilst the guy was friendly, the only response was to keep an eye out of an update. I’ll keep using the app because it is the best of a very bad lot. Don’t rely on it to provide reliable consistent data.

Motivational and informative. My GP suggested I use an app to help me keep an eye on my blood glucose levels. I tried a couple of others then found MySugr. It’s super easy to use, synced with my monitor right away and talks to Apple health. Being able to export reports with my results is a great feature too. I also like the extra challenges you can take up to help keep you motivated. The little ‘diabetes monster’ animation is awesome and helps to make logging info entertaining instead of tiresome.

MySugar app is saving my life. Having T2 diabetes can be hard - thinking your doing the right thing monitoring sugar intake and had no idea that carbs played a huge role in managing my levels. Having this app and tracking everything from fluids, meals , times, emotions, activities is helping me so very much with changing my lifestyle. Also the fact that this app can also create reports that I can send my GP, Endocrinologist and Diabetes educator is fantastic. I feel like I can control and manage my disease with this app and can’t thank the creators enough for a such an interactive app!!

👍🏻. Been using for a couple months now, it’s been great. I particularly love the colours assigned to levels, so you know when things aren’t right. Once I found the button to control monster noise, I was much happier, but I would think the younger humans love it. The connection with the accu-chek device can be a little troublesome at times, waiting for the app to pick up the latest result. Overall it’s been helpful and my GP gives it a 👍🏻.

Excellent. This is an excellent piece of software and does a great job of keeping up to date records of sugar levels and helps you work out what food to avoid. It’s a pity it’s crippled until you purchase the pro version. Your company that makes this program should provide it for free to all diabetics so more people can live a better life.

My first week. Having been diagnosed with diabetes 2 and and starting to understand what is involved with daily testing, I was delighted to find the mySugr app. It is easy to log your daily activities and track your progress. So far, I’m impressed how it links in with Apple Health etc to make it the go to app. One small addition that I would personally like is , rather than have to selected individually all your pills every day, that you have a smart that would enter them for you. One could enter the pills under, say, morning, lunch, dinner, bed and the software would then automatically include the appropriate list of pills at the right time of the day. Just a thought! Cheers David

Getting there!. Some ideas: How about exercise’ and ‘walking’ icons, rather than just sport? Also, it appears to combine entries into one if they are less than 11 minutes apart. This doesn’t work well it you take a blood sugar reading before a meal and want the meal as a separate entry/time. How about the ability to show multiple icons against an entry in the ‘My trend’ log tab, rather than just the first in the list you select, eg, dinner and alcohol icons together. Travelling, vacation, driving, etc.

Constantine Kotzambasis. I have personally tried 4 different Diabetes meters and 5 different software. I find the AccuChek Guide meter as good as the Ascensia Contour Next and Contour Next One. I have also tried the Rightest meter. They all originally came with their own software. Lately I was introduced to the MySugr software that connects with my AccuChek Guide meter. After a week I can honestly recommend the MySugr App as the BEST!! Speed of connection with the meter is the same on all. However, when it comes to the endless display of options given by the MySugr App there is no comparison whatsoever. If you are a regular Diabetes record keeper you will feel you are in heaven. Over a long period of time you will be able to see trends, compare results and manage your Diabetes in the best way possible. Not to forget to mention the fast, helpful and efficient support I have received from both Jasmine and Anne who explained to me in detail how the App works 10 out of 10 for both the software and the support team Thank you again Constantine Kotzambasis

Michael. Having been an insulin dependent diabetic for 53+ years I am amazed at how new technology keeps evolving and how much the ways of controlling one’s diabetes has changed over the last 5 decades and this tiny accu-chek guide me machine along with the mySugr App are absolutely amazing. As I said I have been insulin dependent for 53 plus years and I was a teenager when I developed diabetes so I am not a young guy and definitely not that tech savvy but the simplicity of setting the App up with this machine took less than 5 minutes for me (without the help of the grand kids).

Simply fabulous. I use an Accu-Chek Aviva Expert meter and it is really accurate in telling me how much insulin to inject. I’ve not found any app that can do the same - until I started using mySugr. Brilliant. I can even add, modify and delete data whenever I want - Yeah! Mistakes can happen and fixing them is needed. Now I can easily change those errors or add snippets of info I may have forgotten. I transferred my settings from my meter and now mySugr can tell me how much insulin to inject. Perfect. What’s better is that once I start using Freestyle patches, I won’t have to do finger pricking again for blood tests. The patch combined with mySugr will do it all for me. Simply fabulous.

Keeps dropping out.. The app works really well and is simple to use. When it connects. The Bluetooth connection is quite picky and drops out regularly. Switching between the app and your phones Bluetooth settings to get a connection gets tiresome.. The on some occasions you have a connection only for the meter unable to send any data, then a week later it uploads all data in one hit.

Overall performance. I am very glade and happy to use this app to control my diabetes It has help me a lot with understanding my unmanage blood sugars for the last few weeks. I am feel much better today and hopefully I will keep my head around to the right track of success. Thank you very much for your help. The little monster has become my best mate . 😄👻

OK. The app is easy to use, but the reporting function needs some work. Reports are difficult to prepare, with a lot of additional fields and data that I don’t need. There is no ability to select a time period for the CSV and XLS files, so all stored data is reported. All unreported fields for unused data are also reported, as there is no ability to select required data fields. If these issues are addressed in a future version of the app, it would be perfect.

Decent app. A couple of glitches but the team fixed them pretty quickly. App is easy to use and having it Bluetooth enabled is awesome as you can share the info with your medical team easily and you can keep on top of your diabetes. Having your own little monster that cries for you each time you tap him is cute!!!

Brilliant!. The application is highly intuitive and a true blessing. My best mate in the world - Joey Warren - is a Pug crossed with I don’t know what. Joey was recently diagnosed type 1 diabetic. Apparently dogs only get type 1, while cats can be type 2 or 1. (Just an “FYI”.) To complicate matters, Joey also suffered pancreatitis. I had gallstone pancreatitis and on a scale of 1 to 10, for me it was 20. The fentanyl was useless. I wanted morphine, but they are always scared of using morphine. Enough about me. Back to Joey and this brilliant My Sugar application. After analysing a blood sample, the Vet advised his numbers were off the scale. We had to manage Joey’s intense tummy pain and stabilise his blood sugar. I became aware of the My Sugar application after buying an Accu Chek meter and have not looked back. Sincerely, Seamus.

Ease of use. This app has allowed me to manage my diabetes, better, being more visual in my carb intake, and recognising how much these play in managing BSL. Prior to this app, I was struggling to get my levels down under six, however, with the use of this app and gaining a great education of my diabetes. Through this app I have been able to within a week. Get my levels down to 4

Best tool for diabetes. Easy to use and lets you add plenty of information to your meter readings. Can’t imagine what it would be like if I didn’t have it, I’ve have only had diabetes type 1 for almost 3 years and I’ve been using this little great app right from the start. Recommend everybody with diabetes to use it.

Fantastic tool!!. T2D since August ‘22 and of course everything T2D is new to me! Diet, testing and MySugr used with AccuCheck system. The MySugr app is fantastic, easy to use and keeps me on track but most importantly I’m learning about my body and T2D. I now understand what triggers the spikes and why. I’m over 60…. and a bit of a nerd, but MySugr couldn’t be easier. Thank you! PS the support team are very customer focused, a big shout out to Jenn!

Mrs Huisman. I have only recently been diagnosed and am still learning what triggers my diabetes. But being able to see it, as I can on the screen, I find very helpful. Little by little I am doing better at eating the correct foods and once I am off prednisolone I believe I shall have it under better control. This App is great for me. I love it

Excellent. This app does everything I need it to. It connects up to my Accu-chek and Apple health and there is space to type notes which is very helpful when seeing a doctor. I can tag with fasting or meal options and overall it builds a documented story that you can even print out report from. Just excellent.

Excellent for T1’s. Go Premium for sure.. Our boy is T1 and this is the best app we could find to input levels, calc insulin (both food and corrections). Way better than any other app recommended by the children's hospital. Thanks for your efforts in making it a simple and easy app to use to add all the information to keep his blood sugar nice and low.

GD. Was feeling a bit overwhelmed after the gestational diabetes diagnosis. Was thinking surely there’s an app for this and here it is! This app is user friendly and easy to record all things in one place- my glucose levels, what I ate in a day, integrated with apple health app to see my steps/ exercises etc. Also great to be able to see the trend. This is all in the free version! I will probably get the paid version to download reports for my obstetrician. Thank you to the developers 🙏🏾

My Monster is My Lifeline. The hBA1c feature is so motivating. I have finally got mine down to 5.9 (from 8.7) and can now focus on reducing meds. The necessity to keep up 21 readings over each 7 days keeps me pricking those fingers every day. I love seeing “in-range” green entries and hearing those happy monster sounds. Thank you for this life-saving app.

It’s ok but still have to use multiple apps. User dashboard can be a bit confusing. For someone who has had diabetes for a long time but am somewhat of a novice in the education department and stuck in my millennial ways, i still require multiple apps to track carbs + calories. It feels like it does a lot but not enough to be practically useful certainly not for Australian markets. I don’t even understand the points stuff when i log! Too many pharma companies competing for attention not enough coordination. for example I use: Libre to measure and track bsl, novodisk novo pen 6 to log insulin intake, my sugr to calculate bolus, my fitness pal to figure out nutrition information. It’s exhausting

Reasonably good app. My first time with a blood sugar monitor and it’s been quite an interesting experience so far.. Only gripe is I got to bed generally after midnight and it’s a little annoying and confusing when those before bed readings end up as the first reading for the next day.. would be nice if I could customise (within reason) the organisation and drag those readings back to the previous day.. or at least say where my day began or ended.. so those numbers aren’t adversely affecting the daily averages.. also considering how important the sleeping period is when dealing with blood sugars..

Great App for a newly diagnosed Type 2 Diabetic. I am going through the process of using my glucometer 3 to 4 times a day. This App is so beneficial as it records the data from my glucometer to this App. I also have a graph to show my doctor at the end of 3 months. If my I phone is not near the glucometer the App will enter the previous recording as well as the new recording. Very easy to use and to synchronize the App and Glucometer. No fuss great tool!!!

The most helpful app for managing diabetes.. This app allowed me to show the specialist and dietitian my diary quickly and easily by exporting with one button. They could see patterns and were able to make a quick decision to start insulin. I love the little challenges too 😍 I would love to see an easy way to track water intake with a click of a button. I drink a lot of water but I would like to show my med team exactly how much. My memory is poor so it would be nice to have a quick click in the top of the app to add each litre or even half litre of water consumed.

Very useful and informative. Been using this app for a few years now. It is useful for tracking BGL’s and how it’s affected by what I eat and when I exercise. I particularly like how I can write notes alongside my readings. Sometimes I’ll write what I eat and what time I ate. Other times I might write down how much exercise I did and what type of exercise.

I love, love this app. So easy to use I am using this also to keep a note of my blood pressure under notes. There is an icon for every situation. I have only been using it for a week and I’m sure there is plenty more to learn. I am Type 2 and and it is great to be able to comment on foods that made my reading high. I used to write it all in a book. This is sooo much easier.

Terrific. Easy to use, mySugr has made keeping a log of my blood sugar readings a breeze, which is important because first thing in the morning I am not at my most alert or coordinated! Being easily able to record and review my data has helped me manage my diabetes 2 better. It’s good when I see my doctor too, and have a neat record instead of a scrumpled piece of paper. Thank you, App Developers.

Motivated. Great app, keeps me motivated to better manage blood glucose levels. Being able to track food intake and activities gives me insight into what causes a spike in BGL and what keeps it within my target range. The data synchronisation between the monitor and app helps simplify tracking.

Doesn’t get better!. Sugr has helped me immensely to keep my Diabetes T2 under control. Saving results to my phone makes it so easy to see how you’re travelling and the ability to take photos of your meals means no more guessing what you are that causes different readings. It showed the increase that twice foretold of my Staph infection before the Specialist knew! (5/5).

Love it. It’s great

Marty Blanchard. The app is awesome and really helps me track my food and sugars and its a cool app to use and easy to understand.Best thing I have ever done totally works

Very useful. It has helped me keep track of my sugars better by always being on my phone whenever and it’s quick very useful app

Awesome. Helps a lot

Could be better if integrated with Apple Heakth. While the functionality is akin to the glucometer it would be great if this would integrate with Apple health. This would remove the need to access yet another app all the time. All of my other measuring devices integrate with Apple health, so why not this one?

Très bien fait. Bien fait et pratique

My blood sugar.. A great way to keep record of my blood sugar.

Good. Works as it should I assume. Pretty straight forward. Still learning about ALL of this.

Rapport. Dans le rapport,pourriez-vous intégrer un tableau XY pour voir tous les points des glycémies sans à avoir à imprimer plusieurs pages. Semblable à ce que fait Contour Next de Bayer

Good app. Seems to run without issues

Glycémie. Je suis en prédiabète et il n’y rien pour ce type ?? Il y a Type 1, Type 2 etc.... mais pas de prédiabète et les valeurs normal etc ... ?

Spend more time on useful reports and less on cutesy giggle emojis. The target range is too generic and only allows an overall range. Not powerful enough. Needs to provide before and after meal ranges with critical highs and lows. Competition offers this. Icon tagging is nice and offers extensive variety of options. Would be cool to offer user defined icons with import icon graphic option. Paired with the Accu-Chek Guide meter which is the intended meter for this software. However the AccuChek Meter which had shown me a pattern analysis of high glucose mornings over a few days , the app does not import that pattern information, nor does the MySugr software analytics calculate its own or similar pattern which the Accu-Chek meter finds. Reports could use improving, does not include Blood Pressure which is imported via Apple Health. Reports only provide overall weekly, monthly glucose averages etc. Basic information is pretty standard these days , but eliminates delving into deeper analysis. No weekly before , fasting , or after meal glucose averages Competitor apps provide this feature.

Great App. I like the app, mainly so I don’t have to write everything down. I can just show the app to my doctor so she can see my numbers. Also love the notes field so I don’t have to remember how many units of insulin I have dropped down to.

Great app!!. I would just love additional editing capability.

Accu Check. Très bonne appareil de donno

Fantastic. I have always had mediocre control of my diabetes and hated logging my sugars in a book. Having this app makes that so much better and has already helped me do better with my control by motivating me to keep better logs. Highly recommend to my fellow diabetics. - T1D

Great app. Works really well. Love the monster. Only issue when switching to. New device you lose your pro membership that you get free with the Accu-Chek Guide meter.

New user. I am new to using a monitor that is smart, in terms of being able to send data wirelessly and the app and so far I am so happy with the categories available so I’m at a good starting point.

food tracking lacking. where can i track Calories? this is a huge part of the equation and yet i can only track Carbs?? might also be useful to track Sodium, Fat, Sugars, Cholesterol, or at least have the option to do so...

It bad. Works great. Syncs to my phone perfectly. I only wish it have your A1C estimate a little sooner like most other apps.

So easy and fun to use. This is my first time really keeping track of my blood sugars and seeing how my medications and food intake can balance it. Absolutely love the app, makes me accountable and has helped me get better results. Quick response from the app team when i had a question. The pairing of the glucometer with this app makes importing of my blood sugar results instant.

Download problems. My iPhone occasionally does not connect to the Guide and I have to open the app and go through many key strokes to restart the down load. This shouldn’t be too hard to fix

Super. Une belle application pour gérer son diabète surtout avec un glycomètre compatible

Very easy. Easy to handle and record your measurements, intake, insulin and everything you do. Just 2 things: reports are not so user friendly and there‘s no overview. And you can‘t customize Food or beverage. And I woulld like to keep seeing how many points I‘ve accumulated the days before. It only shows the points from each day. But overall it’s a easy, fun, simple app. You can also synchronize with other apps and have the info from other apps if it suits you.

Report. App is ok but if you take the time to enter other data like daily blood pressure readings, then the report should offer you the possibility of printing those results as well.

My sugar. I just love the app. You can add all the food you eat, even add a picture that you took of your food. You can add how you are feeling. It’s easy and a fun way to keep track of your sugars. The A1C on the app is the same as the hospital test.

This app is amazing. If you don’t wanna keep a booklet with your readings this app is a god sent. It’s free and it keeps track of everything really nicely, you can put your current sugar reading, what your guna take for insulin based on your carbs your eating and correction, and there’s so so much more I highly recommend. I’m a type 1 diabetic who’s insulin dependent. I do 4+ injections a day plus 5-6 sugar readings a day and this has actually helped me have better sugar levels because I’m more vigilant to use this app and keep on track

Great app. MySugar is super helpful. Fun little sound effects too.

Loving this app!. Quick and easy tracking from the meter to my phone. I like that I can edit and add notes on my phone regarding meals so I can see what triggers my numbers.

Great App. This is nice that it links to your phone so you always have a record.

My sugra. Love this app! - it connects to my glucose monitor- able to put in medication, activity and what I ate - 😊 only con is wish the food inputs were a little more descriptive

Record keeping. Helps keep tract any changes or patterns and enables me to make corrections and changes to life style and eating habits

Un incontournable. Excellente application, très complète et simple d’utilisation. Le petit monstre rend l’expérience plus agréable 😁 Je recommande fortement cette application.

A1c. The trending a1c show on homepage for a while now it’s gone how do I get it back

Bolus calculator. Perfect but we need the bolus calculator in Canada!!!

Dommage. Cette app a perdu beaucoup de sa pertinence depuis qu’il n’est plus possible de récupérer ses données avec Internet.

Great app for learning. I have learned so much about my diabetes since installing this app. Fabulous tool

Great app. I’ve been using it for almost 4 years now. A great way to help tame the monster.. app to help you keep track of your numbers and trends. I use it all the time. It really helps me control the “monster”. I have been using it faithfully for over 4 years now.

Wonderful app.. And very helpful

Great App. Gamification of progress is genius.

So helpful. Trying to navigate having diabetes is tough, but the amount of data, trending you can do on this app is amazing. The fact that it syncs to my phone seamlessly is even better.

Lots of problems. App won’t work with my I phone

Great App. I give this a 4 stars. I’m loving it.

No Apple Watch support. As above.

Ludique et pratique. Vraiment pratique et agréable à utiliser.

Absolutely love it. Love it! The app is incredibly easy to use. Everything I need to know and track is right there.

Can’t be better. It is whatever you want it to be; Simple, complete or extremely detailed. At first I just enjoyed not having to do handwriting notes and became curious of all the things it was possible to enter. So when suddenly my levels were unstable for days I would increase my levels and sometimes I couldn’t remember how many units I had taken the day before. I added an entry for my insulin type Slow Release and the quantity. Tressiba Pen are kept in the fridge and after the first use you may keep it at room temperature for up to 40 days and I did. The app allowed me to realize that after 28 days I had increased my intake of insulin from 12 to 14 and when I reached 16, then I would start a new Pen for 1.5 year, analyzing my entries allowed me to see the problem; so I started a new Pen and kept it in the fridge and it lasted 42 days and interestingly my morning readings stabilized between 4.5 and 5.1 no more 6 to 7. It also keep track of the time it read the entry and I noticed that between 7:30 AM and 8 I had better readings and on lazy days 8:45 to 9:30 bad readings and now I have set a reminder for 7:30.

Application.

Excellent app and service. This has been an excellent application for tracking my glucose. I'm using their subscription service for test strips and meter, which for a reasonable months price allows me to easily monitor my glucose. I test 18-20 times per day, so go through a lot of test strips. This lets me understand how foods and activities affect my glucose. With the subscription they stay well ahead of my needs, giving me plenty of buffer. The reports are helpful in observing trends. I find it easy to add insulin and carbohydrates consumed, and the ability to add tagging of environmental conditions is also helpful. The only thing I dislike is the lack of an iPad app; it'd be really nice if I could have a proper iPad interface as my iPad is my main device.

Love it!. I’ve recently had to start counting carbohydrates to take insulin before I eat. I have been trying all kinds of health and diabetic apps out too log my meals, blood sugar levels, and insulin taken. mySugr is by far the quickest, smoothest, and easiest app to use out of many. The interface is also amazing. Being able to see carb count, different insulin amounts, other medications taken, and what meal or type of food your ate all at a glance is phenomenal. No other app has a user interface as sleek and easy to read. There are also no ads if you don’t subscribe. Just a few features you can’t use. Honestly I will be getting the yearly subscription because of how great this app is.

Best App to Lower HBA1C. Ive been using Mysugar app for over a year now . My HBA1C was 7.4 when I started maybe higher its now 6.8 and working on getting down to 6.5 or lower. I love the different options it has to choose from especially Menstration as my ‘pre Monthly makes my sugar rise do to hormones it helps me track it before it becomes an issue Im a pro member so get shipment automatically when I need it . At my one year mark with the company I even got a Free sweater 100% cotton at no charge even was shipped for free they are amazing And they also have special coach which has helped me through alot with my Blood sugars she is amazing Thank you again!!!

UPDATE: What happened to my A1c results?. UPDATE: I haven’t been able to see my A1c for the past few days. It’s not like I’m not logging enough, the option just isn’t there anymore. I’m updated to the 3.90.1 so that doesn’t appear to be the problem. I really need to see my A1c so hopefully you can get this fixed unless it’s hidden somewhere else. —————- The app is really working well for me. Seeing my A1C - even tho it’s an estimate and may be different from a lab test - is an excellent motivator for me. I think without that just seeing my readings wouldn’t be as effective.I don’t always log my food but that’s just laziness on my part. 👍🏻

Easy to use. Connects with other health apps. Overall I find this very easy to use, and easy to review results over time. It connects to my other apps and brings in information about the foods I eat so I can easily compare the amount of carbs consumed to the readings. There are a lot more features in this app than I actually use and plan on exploring these over time. I currently use the free version and have been using it for the past several months and I’m very happy to say that there are no pop-up ads to be annoying and I thank the developers for making it so I can turn off the little monster sounds.

A steal!! UPGRADE IMMEDIATELY. Two words: UNLIMITED STRIPS. The deluxe features are great for notating the day so you can notice patterns and the detailed reports look so nice. Im able to print them or email them to my doctor, and this app gives an estimated A1C once you give it enough data. They send you a Bluetooth enabled glucometer, which has simplified my life. If you have a continuous glucose monitor, mySugr links up with it. My diabetes educator is the first healthcare professional ive met with T1D just like me, she’s extremely accessible. I don’t feel judged for once and my diabetes is in MY control now. And i adore how the app lets me name my “diabetes monster”. Externalizing my condition like that really helps me disconnect from my diabetes and see it as a virtual pet i have to take care of. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH

User friendly...for the most part. I was diagnosed only a few months ago so I knew next to nothing about diabetes let alone the management of it. This app is pretty straight forward, easy to use, and most importantly (to me), it doesn't take forever to enter your data. I like the feature that allows you to list medications and how many pills you're supposed to. The downfall of that feature is that it is not the easiest to set up and the instructions aren't clear. However, once it's done, all you have to do is scroll down to the medication and # of pills. By the way, if you have more than one medication, you can't use the ”next” tab. You have to use the down arrow (to the left of the ”next” tab) then select the next medication. Overall, I would still recommend this app.

Clever, Fun, and Super Helpful!. This app is definitely designed with the type 1 diabetic in mind! It is awesome. It allows logging of pertinent data, as well as excellent analysis. It gives continuous feedback about how you're doing. There are challenges to help keep you motivated and on track. And designers are open to suggestions. I love this thing. It's the best app I've found for logging diabetes data, especially if you're on a pump. I've been using this for several months now, and I'm still using it! It keeps me interested and provides useful data and analysis. I can print out PDFs for my CDE, which helps us fine-tune insulin for life. This app is so helpful!

Luvin' it. Went with the AccuChek Guide meter w/unlimited strips bundle deal for $40 a month. Received my meter today, had been poking around the app prior to receiving it though, and so far, I'm delighted with it - meter connected easily without any issues at all, so bonus. Lots of good features to help recognize patterns and log everything easily - access to well known CDEs is a great bonus for the paid version of the app. Can't beat the deal offered, it's really helpful for those uninsured or under insured with high co-pays or tight restrictions on allotted amount of strips. The app is a great tool to use to aid in management of type 1 or type 2 Diabetes, and could even potentially be useful for those with hypoglycemia to help spot patterns with foods and drops.

Maybe Don’t Charge Me. So this is an amazing app. It’s simple, straight forward and I definitely find the monster character adorable. However as someone who has multiple expenses a month on supplies, doctors and prescriptions it would be nice to not have to subscribe just to get the added bonus of using different traits per log. I understand charging for the personal help (which I do not need or want). Just saw that as a slight towards a group of people with a ridiculous amount of charges per month anyways. Keep a payment plan for the additional help but don’t charge me for downloading/exporting my reports and for extra tags to attach to each log. That’s a little under the belt. :/

Very User Friendly. I just recently downloaded this app along with another as I hated the updates my last diabetes log app recently made. This app has won out and stands heads and shoulders above the others. I have wanted to get my 8 year old more involved in tracking his levels and meals and this Diabetes Monster app (as likes to call it) is just perfect. The use of the sounds on the little monsters when you feed the app is his favorite part, but the entry guides for noting readings, meals, insulin units, etc is so easy for him to follow. What’s best to me is the easy color coding which allows us to spot any hypo or hyper trends so easily. We simply love this app!

Great way to track BG. I am absolutely horrible at tracking my blood sugars and keeping up with the numbers so every time I do get asked at the endo I either 1. Have missing blood sugars on the sheet for my 14 day report or 2. Have blood sugars but the times are sporadic so I have to eyeball when breakfast, lunch, and dinner was. With this app I literally have all the times and the exact blood sugars and I can even put in my bolus amounts for my meals, overall great app for being free and even if you do put a buck or two into it you get a whole lot more including graphs and labels for what you where doing when you checked, I would even dare to say it beats some of the sensor trackers in terms of graphing so long as you put your information in everyday, great app overall!

Would have been 5 stars, if more devices synced. ***updated review** They have added more brands of testing kits. I also asked them to be able to delete test results en masse, instead of 1 @ a time. They agreed & said they will try to get that done. For now, customer service walked me thru deleting the app & old testing info (which did not want to delete) then reloading the app. They still have not included my One Touch Verio IQ (which is only test kit I could get thru UnitedHealthCare). I like this app, & use it multiple times each day. Being able to print out my reports is very helpful @ Dr visits. It is silly, but I enjoy the little green monster's sounds and sayings. Also, I wish more diabetic Rx options were included (like Byetta).

Most comprehensive tracker. I had been looking for an app where I could not only record glucose numbers but also correlate with food, activity, meds and other factors. This is it! I love being able to take food photos to remind me what I ate. But it would be nice if nutrient values like calories, protein, fat, carbs and fiber could be integrated from something like My Fitness Pal. That app is great for tracking food but does not track glucose. So all around, mySugr is a better diabetes "diary." The tag icons are cute. I don't get the monster icon but it does add an element of fun. Being able to see weekly and longer term averages, as well as estimated A1c is great. Loving this app!

I really want to love this. I kept thinking it was just me, but after using this app for nearly a month, I have to say I’m frustrated. Only twice have I been able to figure out how to log my meals, and even then it didn’t allow me to take photos. After several weeks, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and that day, it showed me where to log the little icons of what I had eaten but still no photos or carb logging. I’ve tried twice to do the newbie challenge and failed because I can’t get beyond the basic entries, so I’m unable to make beyond 22 points. Discouraging. It seems like it could be great if only I had access to all features. It shows me to be a Premium member, so I don’t understand.

Whats an alternative app to mysugr that syncs with accu-chek gide?. I was fuming mad last night when my phone updated the accu-chek connect app with the disabled version that will not allow my phone to record my Guide meter’s readings. The replacement mysugr, requires me to upload my test readings to the mysugr servers for the company to do as they please with. I do not agree to those terms and dont want my data leaving my phone, so i am now without a logging system nor access to my past data in the app. I dont understand why the Connect app couldn't have been left as-is for people to use. So what does roche reccomend for folks who do not agree to release their phi glucose readings per the mysugr terms? Do I have to toss out all of my accu-chek testing equipment & supplies, in favor of another vendor with an app that doesnt require data disclosure / uploads? If practically every company and govt has been hacked, why should i subject my personal data to that exposure too.

User friendly!. After being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I knew I would need an app to keep track of daily numbers. I tried several other apps before coming across this one. Most other apps require a monthly subscription of $10 or more a month and they weren’t very user friendly or easy to navigate. MySugr is easy to use and navigate, and the interface is kind of fun. I pay the $3/mo so I can send my endocrinologist my numbers every week through email, which can be done directly from the app. I’ve recommend this app to several others I know who would highly benefit from it.

MySugr Has Been a Lifesaver. Perhaps a little hyperbole in the title but, then again, maybe not. When I was first diagnosed with diabetes I worried that the symptoms I already had could be permanent or that new symptoms could lead to me being maimed or blinded or even to my death. MySugr didn’t do it alone, but it has been an extremely useful and user-friendly app for helping me track my progress as, through medication and diet, I have managed my diabetes. My vision has improved, my body no longer panics and purges sugar, and my energy level is great. I feel much better than I have in a while and MySugr has been an essential part of the process that got me here.

An E log that can really help!. I am digital. And I am fussy about using tech. I like MiniMed pumps (yes I used others, always return, it works for me), Dexcom sensors and I like the simplicity of the verio sync meter. Until my sugar that created a triple entry system to track numbers and trends. Inefficient and wasteful! I wrote to mysugr and asked them to "flip a switch" allowing my verio to apple health to register as blood sugars and integrate with DEXCOM. Yippee! One more step to set us mixed tech users free, get the bolus wizard information from MiniMed care link and it will all be on one location. Cloud based and easy to share with family and medical personnel. Works for me... Just might for you! Thanks for the fast response to my request!

No complaints. Honestly I have no complaints and it’s super easy to use. Very self explanatory as well but even if it wasn’t I love how they have the support for any questions. The best thing is that my son, the one we use this app for, can and does put in his own information quite often. Last and I feel most importantly, when we were newly diagnosed and looking for a simple way to track all of the information the doctors would need, this app was suggested and when we showed it to the doctor he said this was the best one he had seen. He said it was very comprehensive and loved the report capability which we still continue to take to his doctor at every appointment.

Absolutely the best diabetes tracking app!. I use this to track my son’s insulin dosing, meals, snacks, and activity. It syncs with the Dexcom and allows me to track patterns, adjusting insulin for various factors. I love that I'm able to search based on keys words I’ve entered (e.g. food or restaurant name) or the type of entry. I use it extensively and as a result his A1C results from his Endo have always typically matched that of the estimated A1C that the app shows you. Since diagnosis his A1C has decreased significantly, and although this is also a result of using the Dexcom and his pump, this app has also played a large part in it. Thank you for making an app that makes this horrible disease a little easier to manage!

Excellent, but. This application is excellent. I can use it to track symptoms, meals, and activities throughout the day. I wish I could use it as my main app to have everything consolidated, but I’m disappointed that I can’t link the Fitbit app or the device, the Cronometer app, or MyFitnessPal app. I also wish that it had more options for people with hypoglycemia, such as reactive hypoglycemia or dumping syndrome. It only has different types of diabetes as options. I’m also great value to pay $49 for the premium membership considering the unlimited test strips that will pay for themselves many times over if you need to test multiple times a day. However only Accu-Chek is supported. The cheaper memberships are good too and reasonably priced. In general, this app is fantastic.

Fantastic app for anyone with diabetes. Having been diagnosed with type II diabetes only a couple of months ago, checking my blood sugar has been crucial to discover which foods mess up my sugar, which don’t, and to track my progress. This app works great and integrates flawlessly with my Accuchek Guide Me glucometer via Bluetooth. I don’t use insulin, but it helps those who do determine their insulin dosage from estimated carbs in a meal. It allows you to enter what you ate so you can quickly see how meals affect your blood sugar. And it can create a chart that can be exported as a pdf that documents everything so you can email or print it for your doctor. If you have diabetes, I cannot recommend this app highly enough. It’s great!

Yippee!. What is most exciting about the app is probably the various sounds of the Sugar Monster makes each time there’s a new entry, or a new point adjustment. In addition, the different icons to choose each time one notes the situations, or conditions, make the record keeping somewhat more less mundane, and stimulating. What is s somewhat disappointing is the unnoticeable changes after the new and recent update. I expected a little bit more than a few bug fixes it has. In terms of new features the update can add, there’s nothing I could find. My rating for the app is above average. Oh! I like the semi-interaction with the SugrMonster. Sometimes, I touch him several times to make him yell a few more times, each time with a different way!😊

Comprehensive, easy to use app for sugar mgmt. I needed to track my blood glucose and food..this is free and does way more than that, offering summaries, charts, and reports - those are a paid feature. I got a trial of the pro version and used it to print out PDF and Excel versions of my report, which I have to my endocrinologist. He was able to see the results easily. I’m continuing to use it. Since the data is all online, I can use the app on multiple devices and sync. Could use more categories for food types - e.g. what type is coffee? - and I’d like to see A1C estimates without requiring 3 bloods per day...understanding it would be less accurate, but so is the estimate even with three per day. I do like that you can go back and edit just about anything. Perhaps multiple undo features would be helpful in case you make larger mistakes, esp. with older data. Overall, I’m satisfied with it. Using this data and other data - Bluetooth scale, for example - and merge it all in the Apple Health app. It might be useful to get more advanced reporting and/or recommendations from the entered data, such as looking into possible issues, or recommending changes to diet or exercise based on the data entered.

Captures data well; graph useless. MySugr has been my companion for the past two weeks, since my level 2 diabetes discovery. I have about four data captures per day on it. The data capture from my Accu-check Guide has been flawless. I am now adding carbs grams, meal foods, pill takes, and exercise activities. These are all good. I would give it a five star rating but for two related things. First, the horizontal axis on the graph will not “pinch”. I am stuck only viewing about on day’s worth data. Second, I should be able to export the data to Excel (MySugr provides a couple of formats) and I have successfully done it. Hard to know where the file is going land, but that is more of an Apple iOS problem. Here is the graphing rub in Excel. The dates are exported as DATE and TIME separately. I have not figured how to concatenate them. Therefore, I can only graph them with all measurements of a given day landing on the same day with no separation throughout the day using the time column. I am sure Excel will do it but it would be nice if MySugr exported a column to immediate graph against

Great app!. Shared it with my doctors, and even they were impressed. With the app’s powerful logging tools combined with medication management, lifestyle changes, and doctor oversight, I am able to keep my diabetes under control because I now see exactly how my eating and stress affect my blood glucose readings and long term goals. I thrive on the predictive A1c. I also love that I can link and sync with the Apple Health app to have my weight, blood pressure, workouts and glucose readings in 1 place. Love this app. It has been a game changer for me. With it, I am striving to break the family cycle and not become disabled or otherwise have my quality or length of life diminished by diabetes.

Good but could be better. App has to be open to transfer data. So if you don’t open the app on your device first, you get a message saying it can’t transfer the data. Also, if you happen to miss one day, or only get a chance to do two in one day, then your A1C estimate cannot be made. It should take your measurements and then come up with one irrespective of missing a day or only having two points of data for a day. How many times have we all been out with friends and time slips away, or we go away for a weekend and we forget our meter? It happens to everyone and it shouldn’t effect the estimate. Also, there are times when I will take my sugar and it says it transferred the data, but it doesn’t show up in the app; I guess it’s in sugar space.

Awesome ... AWESOME... app Log it. Tame the Monster. I’ve seen many used more than a few but I have to say this one has kept me doing the tedious logging with all of the tame the monster fun. Cheers for making something a daily painful chore into fun. Once again I suggested to start logging my days for the next couple of weeks. I dreaded the paper trail options and felt apps weren’t gonna give enough. Yet to my amazement, I am so grateful to have stumbled upon this app. It has made a HUGE world of difference on my logging. And my life living DB-MONSTER!! NOW I look forward in being the slayer in my own story and enjoy it most when I have tamed the BEAST. I look forward in seeing more challenges and added devices like G6 in the next round.

This is so helpful. The sounds would be great for children. This allows me to “remember” exactly what I eat, do, felt etc during my day. I can show my doctor what I’ve been eating and doing during my days. When meal planning, I can go back to my good days and repeat those meals. This app allows you to be as detailed as you wish. You are not required to do anything though; you may only have your glucose level recorded. This has been much more helpful than the Libre 2. The Libre isn’t very accurate. If you use the Softclix it’s easy and relatively painless. I highly recommend this app, it has lowered my A1C!

Diabetes help. It’s nice to be able to record my levels on my phone, it’s a shame that the really good parts of the app require money. Even though I have premium, paid for by my insurance, I still can’t get the “free” test strips, but that isn’t a big deal, it is nice that they went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to connect with a “coach”. I will recommend this app to everyone I talk to! Still think that with all the grant monies out there that you still have to pay for an essential medical to stay alive/out of the hospital, I think it’s a real wacko capitalist system that we live in!!!!!

Awesome. I think this app is soo neat! Very easy too use and navigate! It’s also very fun to use with the monster and I love the cute little noises it makes.:) this app is just amazing and good for my doctors too! I love that when I test my sugar on my device it just loads straight too my app’ saves so much time from me havin to keep track on paper for my drs! I can just send them a report and they have everything they need and even more information! Like my mood, what I ate, how I ate, if I was fasting or not! It’s just an all together awesome app! I give 5 stars! Never no issues:) thank u for such a great app:):)

Ok but….. I got a new Accu-Chek machine and started using this app right away. I thought it was great until About seven days after my first use the date and day of the week somehow got screwed up and started to read the next day instead of the current day. I tried pairing it to my iPhone and it keeps saying pairing failed. This has been nothing but frustrating and a big waste of time for something that should be simple. The app will not let me correct the date on the incorrect date / day no matter what I do. And I can not save. I will not pay for a subscription when I have no flexibility to use or edit my date readings when they are not accurate. I am not an IT person so I need something simple. Any suggestions for a free app that work’s easier and better?

Great motivator. I’ve tried a few different apps to keep track of my blood glucose levels, and this is by far the easiest to use. Other apps might have more features, such as a built in carb catalogue, but were so tedious and expensive I didn’t use it. This app gives you a number of features free, and if you use it will give you the pro version for free, at least for a while. If you decided to subscribe to the pro version, it is significantly cheaper than the other apps I’ve used. I am hoping that they start including more of the challenges, as I find those to be a fun way to motivate myself to stay on top of my sugars. Overall, great app and very helpful.

Great app. This app more than meets my needs. I am borderline diabetic treating it with diet and exercise. This app easily allows me to post my morning daily blood sugar. More importantly, it makes me count my carbs and control my diet. I love that it allows me to push all the information over to the Apple health app. This allows me to combine information from my scale and other apps to give me a full picture of my health and activity. I would love it to provide me the A1C as stated but I only stick once a day. So evidently I don’t have the appropriate number of sticks to allow that to happen. That is the reason for four stars instead of five - if after several months of blood sugars I have enough sticks to allow the A1C average to happen then I would recommend five stars.

Excellent app for monitoring glucose scores. After having been diagnosed with type two diabetes, in an effort to help prevent additional issues with already high cholesterol and triglycerides, I have discovered that this app is phenomenal. In addition to providing a great layout to help me keep up with what my scores are through the various times that I’ve checked each day, it also shows the input from my other apps to include the carbs so I can compare with my carbs are high or low, and noticing a pattern of how the glucose adjust based on those carb levels. I highly recommend this out for anybody needing to help monitor their glucose scores.

I really think this is the best glucose app. This country goes beyond the basics and supplies support and challenges that I’ve not seen elsewhere! I recently went onto Medicare and needed a new glucose meter as I was going to be paying for my own strips. Wanting to keep costs down. After much research I landed on Walmart’s ReliOn Platinum meter. Which fortunately lead me to this app. I am very happy with the layout and ability to export reports to my doctor And see instantly how I am doing over different periods of time. Not sure how they make money but they are constantly creating new challenges and sharing information. Thank you for this app!!!

Good App. I was looking for a simple app for just tracking glucose levels and this was it. It takes awhile to get used to it but once I figured it out, it's easy. You just have to spend the time to log the info. Tip: if you don't have a BT monitor and have to log by hand, this app syncs with Health and if you have another device like a BP monitor, it's syncs and has the date already in there to record the BG. Just noticed recently that sometimes the app does not transfer over to Health. Check you data. 3 stars for no Apple Watch logging & no syncing with the MyFitnessPal/Under armor app. Just found out that it does not write all the data to Health. GPS integration is lacking. 5 if it's fixed.

Latest March 2023 update. Loved your previous version for data entry when you could see more in a screen and options were with left to right slide instead of full screen expansion. The large size maybe welcome for some people with fine motor control problem or with reading glasses, but for many of us it is now multiple screen with scroll to enter data. Can you allow us to customize and chose either interface - it should be easily implemented I think. Also every now and then the “tags expansion” gets crazy and keeps scrolling

I think it’s okay. You have to get use to the procedure.. I like it so for. So for it’s great. It is helping me a lot. It keep me focus on how to manage on what I eat. I see the different in what I eat as well the benefits when I eat the right kind of food. I am so thankful for this program. My goal is to keep focus on my health since I’m older. I am getting more acquaint with the App. I can see the different , how my body feels when I eat something that I normally do not eat. Thank you for the App. This is a great app. It show you everything you need to do to keep healthy and that’s a plus for me. I really appreciate this app.

Excellent Way to Monitor Your Blood Sugar. I love the MySugr app. It makes tracking my sugar levels easy. The indicators or what you ate, what you were doing, etc. make it really easy to determine what causes spikes and what helps level spikes out. The ability to have my sugar levels synced to multiple devices means that I don’t have to worry if I am somewhere with only a single device. When I get home, the information will synch and enable me toggle between devices. Be aware that in order to fully access the benefits of the application, you have to get the paid version. However, I have been doing well with the basic version, although I might actually upgrade since I like the app so much.

MySugr Helps Me Keep T1D in Check. This app has been a game changer for my diabetes care. I am in my mid-20’s and have been diabetic since age 9. I’ve gone through different meters and pumps for years and currently I’m taking shots of Humalof with Tresiba as my long-acting at night. This app is a perfect way for me to see trends (such as going low in the mornings) so I can discuss them with my endocrinologiat and adjust my routine. I also am trying to limit my carb intake and mySugr helps with that as well. The layout is easy to use and the wealth of data from weekly to monthly to beyond is extremely insightful. Overall mySugr has been a fantastic tool in tracking my trends ans motivating me to to give myself the best possible care.

Fun Diabetes App. I’m an insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor user, but unfortunately do not have a computer at the moment. So I was looking for an inexpensive app that would let me track my numbers, carbs, insulin, etc all in one spot and let me review it as I adjust my basal and insulin ratios. It would be really awesome if this could partner with my Fitbit and my Dexcom (cgm) data. But this works for me and is fun/amusing. The little monster thing was super entertaining to me (I’m an adult, but I’m easily amused). I use the “free” version currently and may look to upgrade in the near future. For my purposes, I find this to be a user friendly, economical and practical tool to assist you in your diabetes management.

Keeps me on track. Great app that automatically sends my blood sugar readings from my Accu-Guide meter to my iPad and iPhone so that I (and my doctor) can easily review them at a later time without using up my meter’s battery. Also love the fact that I can track my medications so that I will be able to see if I remembered to take them, especially my insulin since it can’t be tracked by a daily pill box. Also love that I can keep track of other health items, like my weight, blood pressure, exercise log, just to name a few, all in one app. Also love being able to share 2 week or 3 month report, showing an approximate A1c score if I’ve recorded enough blood sugar readings. Wish I would have had this meter and app sooner.

This app is awesome!. Results from your connected glucometer are available within seconds. You also have the option of manually entering your glucose numbers, as well as things like foods eaten, total exercise minutes, etc. I love the little animated monster and how it giggles if you tap on it. So cute. And best of all, the app is free to use. Although I believe they also offer a paid version that includes an unlimited supply of test strips and lancets that are shipped directly to your door, which is convenient. I recommend this app to anyone looking for apps that track their blood sugar. It works with apple health as well, so you can see your results right on the health app.

Great tool to track blood glucose levels.. Still in the infancy stage of using the app. Can say, that so far I find the app to be extremely useful. Plenty of happens to make notes about type of food intake, exercise and mood. I have not been very compliant in taking care of my glucose levels but using the app as designed makes for poignant points of how I do or do not pay attention to my situation. Been using this app for a little over three months and it is awesome. Can even calculate your A1C using just three weeks of three times a day of blood glucose testing. Easy to read graphs for trends along with the impact of diet variations. This really is a indispensable tool for diabetics.

Can't Live Without It.. As parents of a tween type 1 diabetic we constantly walk the tightrope between allowing our child to make choices and take responsibility for her care and making sure that she is doing so in the best way possible. This app is well worth the pro price. It is the only way that we have been able to successfully allow our young daughter to track her bg and allows us to monitor everything without feeling like we are hovering. The downloadable logs are incomparable in their ease for taking to the dr. And we were able to get her log without the fight or "forgetfulness" the paper logs used to inspire. This app is our family's "can't live without".

Excellent "monster" manager. The logging system is clear, simple, and fresh - it allows me to see my averages and daily progress in many ways. I download the app’s charts for my endocrinologist appointments, which stacks and visualizes data clearly for her to see what I’m doing every day that my pump can’t log (exercise, temp basal, etc). I use mySugr for 2-3 week bursts at a time to get my T1D back on track if I’ve been slacking. I have recommended it to several people and the occasional blog/Instagram post. Anyone who's motivated to change their diabetes regimen should try it! FEEDBACK: - Would love to see this synced to Dexcom app/system. That way our BGs, logged every 5 minutes, could be seen and analyzed in the app. - More challenges? Maybe to win stuff? Haha. - Nutrition field for calorie, fat, and carb counting. - I read in another review how the user wished the reports were customizable. That could also stand to improve; for example the pdf has small font and it might be helpful to have an option for Landscape printing or fewer days of data per page.

Awesome tool and service. I’ve been using this app for a few years now. It has put me on track with recording my blood sugars, food log, weight blood pressure and so on. It’s so much easier having everything in one place. I pay for the upgraded service and am able to send reports to my doctor. I messed up on resubscribing my service. The customer support contacted me within 24 hours. It was more like 12 hours. They were so easy to work with. My problem was resolved within hours! Thank you for this great tool and thank you Jasmine for your excellent customer service skills!

Please make more “add on” options. The only option to get the pro edition is $50/month and includes unlimited strips. For someone that doesn’t have insurance that covers strips this option is fantastic. If you would make it so that the pro option is available without the unlimited strips that would be great!! Please oh please developer gods hear my humble request! Aside from that this app is the best thing that has happened to me since i was told i had to use insulin. Its great to hold yourself responsible for everything you eat, to keep track of your meds and everything else you do during the day. Oh and the little diabetes critter is so adorable and makes having to do this fun.
