Almost there. Great app, lacks 2 things... Ability to enter scores and copy/paste the court address. I understand that as a captain you can enter scores, however our captain understandably wants us to enter our own scores asap. So it would be nice to enter them right after the match via the app as the web version is cumbersome to navigate from a phone. Also, I understand you can open up the location in Waze or other GPS app, but there are other reasons to copy/paste the address. Such as to put on my calendar or to paste in text. I can see the address, but it's baffling to me why copying to the clipboard would be disabled.

Best app. Love this one stop convenience to keep all my teams and matches straight! Love it!!

Could be great with a few tweaks. I captain both USTA and ALTA teams and enjoy having the app handy so I can manage my teams from my mobile devices. However, I really wish the developers would make a couple of changes: 1. Please allow captains to deselect players not in the lineup when sending out lineups. You can do this from the site, but not the app and my players don’t want to be bombarded by emails when they have plans for the weekend. 2. Please give captains the option to print blank scorecards from the app. Modern day printers will allow you to print from mobile devices over a WiFi connection. 3. I know the site has posted that they’re working on auto input of USTA scores, but it’s really tedious as a captain to have to input these manually, especially when we’ve already done so once a match through the USTA site! Please continue to work on this! All in all, my players like the ability to change their availability through the app and find it more convenient to use. We switched from netlineup (although I never used their app, just the site) and plan to stick with TennisPoint for now.

Needs more. I like the app but it needs to be more user friendly for captains so we don’t have to constantly go to the desktop version to do what we need to do. Also, the notifications don’t work.

Seamless!. I love the ease with which I can send messages either through SMS texting or email. I’ve experienced some problems with signing up different family members on the same email address and it has complicated things for my junior parents. I prefer The overall look and feel of TennisPoint of her other tennis team management site I’ve used in the past hands-down!

Needs improving. Match locations are constantly defaulting to the home court you select. Team members are going to the wrong location for matches and causing us to default courts. Also happening with my husbands men’s leagues. Very frustrating. When putting in availability, you get kicked out of the team you’re putting in your availability for and all of a sudden you’re in a different teams schedule. Very confusing. Needs lots of improvements.

Great tennis scheduling app. Over the years this app has really advanced! You can update your lineup, email and communicate with your players. You can get directions to your match and a lot more!

Doesn’t seem well organized and doesn’t work the same consistently. I always have trouble figuring out how to get to entering my availability. I also have trouble figuring out how to get to my schedule. And sometimes it just doesn’t seem like it pulls the data in from the cloud like it should. getting an overhaul with someone who’s really good at user in our faces would help this app out a lot.

Fabulous App. There is so much information at your fingertips! I’ve had to text the players and be in touch with the opponent’s captain on the run both of which are super easy to do from the app. It’s great being able to see the standings, draft line ups, availability and more. There’s so much & I love it!

Good but not great...yet. Although better than NetLineup there are is room for improvement. Mobile confirming is glitchy when trying to enter a comment like “Let’s do this!” I’ve gotten rejections because of illegal characters on mobile but not laptop. All persons a player has played with through the years on TennisPoint are still there. Am I simply overlooking how to delete them? All in all you’re good...I’m looking forward to great.

So frustrated!. This app have so many problems. Match times don’t show up on the schedule page, some matches. And be added to your calendar, glitches all over. Also, problems with entering multiple teams and accounts. So far, zero response from developer regarding pleads for help before match season begins. Wish this thing worked, because if it did, it has the potential to be a useful tool.

Not enough control for the captain. The online version works fine but the reason I have the app is so that I don’t have to go to the computer to manage my team. I switched from netlineup where I can do everything from my phone and this site won’t let me. Also would prefer ability to use sms va email.

Dashboard not as good as the old Tennis Point. I just switched over to matchtime after years of using Tennis Point. A lot is the same but I really miss the old dashboard features. There used to be a calendar with a monthly color coding view to let you know what matches were going on that month and if you were in the lineup. It also used to show me who else signed up for tennis practices. Both features are gone and I miss them.

Works great for my matches!. Love the app and use it each week - easy on availability updates as well as quick lineup updates! Digging that I can add to my local calendar too. Thx!

Review. The app is great in concept but I am working on a tablet and I have no idea how to add players, edit information, etc.....I went on google and looked for how to edit on this site, yet when I go to my tablet there at NO TABS FOR EDITING. This is really frustrating because I have added several team members and instead of just sending out emails on TennisPoint, as I had anticipated, I have to create an email on TennisPoint and then forward it to the new team members or just create an email outside of the TennisPoint app. It’s also frustrating for the players I cannot invite to join the site since they feel out of the loop and I can’t get their availability unless I send an email asking them. If someone could tell me how to make edits or add new players I would really appreciate it.

Good app - minor tweaks. Would be great if phone app would allow view of individual stats. I can see my playing stats in the web site but not on phone app. Good app though very practical and useful kudos to the development team!

Update is Ineffective. Love the app! This is a great tool for captaining teams but the new updated styling is lacking so many features, and difficult to navigate. There are also many features that can’t be completed on the app, so I’m constantly logging in on your mobile site through safari when I would mainly like to do everything on the app. Things such as scheduling team practices, managing the team roster and updating the match calendar are examples.

Getting there, needs a little work. Easy to enter availability, see schedule, confirm lineup, sync match info with calendar. The team contacts are note alphabetical by first or last name. The list starts with J and then randomly jumps from there. It’s also no searchable. The opening page doesn’t have any value to it unless you have a match scheduled. I think other info could be on there.

Schedule upload fails, customer support unresponsive.. After paying the team set up fee, many USTA team schedules fail up upload. Support at TennisPoint, avoids the issue and and is unresponsive. Great ideas, bad execution. ** updated ** Problem of duplicate USTA team numbers eventually fixed, not sure if for all users or just ad hoc.

Could be better.. This overall is an app with much more potential. Why in the world does it overlook showing the TIMES for the matches besides just the dates? Makes absolutely NO SENSE. Also, no "Help" button inside app? Fix this and allow for notifications and team communication within app and you'll have a powerhouse app for the tennis world!

SO helpful!. I captain a USTA team in Austin Texas. This app has been so helpful in streamlining team communication with 17 players. It makes doing the lineup so much easier too! It took a couple of weeks to get my ladies used to using it, but now it’s working great!! I schedule team practices weekly, send out lineups, team emails, record scores (which link to USTA website) all thru this app. Definitely recommend!!

Needs improvement. This site is missing the ability to look at one screen to see who’s available to play. Tennis app, like Netlineup have that and that so important to be able to see. Instead of having to toggle through every match to see who’s available. That needs to be fixed!

Gold star. I love the app. I can see my two teams and easily update my availability. Like the weather forecast feature. Any chance you can get it to text a reminder to me?😉Everything a tennis player needs except a coach!

Best tennis team management!. There are a ton of “team management” apps out there, and I guess there are some sports they work fine for. But those apps are as useful for tennis team management as a basketball scoreboard is for keeping score of a mixed doubles match. As a USTA rec player, I’ve suffered through many seasons of confusing communication about availability, lineups, and practice opportunities. As a USTA captain, I’m relieved I found MatchTime! MatchTime does what I need. It syncs with USTA data, it stores contact info for the opposing teams, it lets me configure my lines and scoring, it exports to CSV and PDF, and it helps me communicate with my team. As with any app, there are areas for improvement; but MatchTime is simply the best tool for tennis team management.

Poor design. My tennis league switched this year to this app and I find it difficult to use. Not sure why they cannot put the opponent you played on the results??? I was able to find it on one of the 2 teams I play on that use this app but not without a lot of effort (I had to select “edit scores”). Most of the people in this large league are not fans

Easy to use. A quick look at the day/matches... weather, location, time and what to bring the dashboard makes it easy.

Mobile app is not really attached to the web version. Do not expect the mobile app will work as same as the web version. It says the score will be automatic updated but it doesn’t. You have to manually sync between the USTA and TP. Manually 😩😩😩 The team standings also will not be updated on the mobile app. The customer support is good since they response very quickly but actually without solutions.

Cannot change primary. I prefer the tennis point app to netlineup except I cannot seem to change the primary account holder. Apparently I also set it up for my child many many years ago and now am stuck with her being primary and me - the one who plays, being secondary.

Needs an update to add functions. I captain multiple teams and travel for work so the idea of the app is great but the functions are too limited. Suggest to include score reporting, team email function, viewing draft lineup, viewing comments when players confirm, adding a number next to available players to quickly know you have enough to make lineup. Also, add the title next to opponents names: capt. / co-capt because the app lists the co-captains ph# and email first which is confusing. I feel jipped having to pay for this app on top of the $15 registration fee for such limited features.

Great app!. I use this app as captain of my USTA team. It’s very helpful in organizing our matches and our team. It cuts down on emails and texts. Once you get your team used to using the app or the website, it’s a dream. There’s still a bit of cat herding on my part, but that’s not due to the app. It’s very handy!! Well done.

Dry helpful but issues with new users. Love this app. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of 5 stars is the difficulty of adding new team members. Each season, at least one person cannot see our team. The support group is very quick to fix the issue but I am never told what the issue was. Even if they provided a list of items to check it would help.

I paid for this?!. I thought it was crazy that I had to pay for an app to access the tennispoint content I had already paid for. However I was willing to do it to be able to do lineups on the go. However, captain functions are limited and I soon realized that it had another fatal flaw...it only recognizes the captain, not the cocaptain. I have no ability to access or change lineups despite having this ability on the main site. Don't waste your money if you want captain functions!

Needs improvement. I have been using MatchTime (previously TennisPoint) since 2018. For the most part, I love having the app for its ability to allow players to set availability and to view multiple teams from multiple leagues. However, I now am a captain and have been having a few problems with the app. First, I am unable to load multiple accounts although I didn’t have this issue in the past with TP. Secondly, the app has a problem with syncing new players that were added to the team (I.e. via USTA) after the original team and roster was imported. The player name will appear on the roster, but when trying to add the player to the lineup, I receive a message that the person is not registered.

Disappointing. I’m disappointed with this app because it won’t allow a user to permanently delete a profile. Last season, I somehow ended up creating two or three profiles in the process of trying to figure out how to set up an initial account. Now I have several accounts on here and I don’t know which one is the active one and I can’t access any of them correctly. This is just way too difficult and confusing. Users should be given the option to delete an account.

Messaging needs work. Copy paste in the app is abysmal. You can’t hold select all. The keyboard blocks the view of what you’re typing most of the time. Then if you don’t want to send a message to players not in the lineup you still have to put something in that field before you can send. Very frustrating and time consuming. Also - standings don’t update properly unless you first log into the proper website.

Almost there. I appreciate when teams use the app but I have one huge suggestion. I would like to see a calendar of when each my teams have matches. If I get put in a lineup I need to quickly know if I have indicated my availability for other matches on that same day so i can make myself unavailable. As it is now I have to cycle through every team to make sure I update my availability. Using a calendar function I would like to see each team’s matches in chronological order. Also, when I look at the schedule on the mobile app I cannot see the times of the matches. It’s a great app but still needs improvements.

Love Tennispoint. I’ve been using Tennispoint and the app for many years. The app is super convenient, particularly on match day when I need directions. The app has full functionality and is easy to use.

Availability. You used to give the option for players to specify availability down to a time. This feature is now gone. Would be nice to have this back so that players can indicate if they are available for a 9 AM match or 10:30 AM match. Helpful for Captains too.

Like as a player, not as a captain. The app is very convenient to use as a player. It’s good for checking lineups, times and locations of matches. BUT, as a captain, it’s not as useful. It’s very frustrating because we are always on the go and want an app that will work just like it does on our computers. Unfortunately, this app has a long way to go to become useful to captains!

Easy for captains and players. TennisPoint is definitely the easiest app for managing tennis teams. I have multiple teams on it and it is extremely easy to keep track, update availability, really and even get directions. Thanks!

Event confirmation is buggy and therefore unreliable. As a team member, I get requests by captain to confirm roster and then I select yes I can play. But that update does not get back to my captain - frustrating then as she thinks I don’t respond and worse - she can’t confirm roster is locked in without additional outside of app communications and the re-inputing status in app. Need to have confidence basic functions work using this app before I get excited about any new features or enhancements. Need basic bugs fixed first!

Timesaver. Great timesaver. The AI tools are cool

Add event to calendar no longer works. The latest update introduced a new bug where you can no longer add a match to your phone calendar as the end date appears in the past (December 2017). Outreach to customer service for an ETA on a bug fix did not prompt a response. As a captain the annual fee is now $50 - and doesn’t come with any customer service. This is disappointing.

Pretty awesome. The app is great. Shows my upcoming matches, the lineup and the complete roster. Even lets me confirm availability and view scores after they are entered. I wish it showed the messages (inbox) which the captain or other team members send. Otherwise a great and fast loading app

Accessibility. I am more of app person if given a choice between app and email. This app has made life so easy such as to look at my match line ups rather than scrolling my email to find my matches and the different teams I play for.

Needs captains features. I was surprised to find out how little this app does. Basically you can see you schedule, lineup and directions. As the captain I'd love to be able to send emails to the team check availability, etc. maybe I'm just not seeing where these functions are but they're not there from what I can tell. Also, why are you charging for this app when we already pay to use in on the web? IMO, waste of money!

Helpful but with major privacy issues. Is this app populates your teammates' address books with your home address. I haven't played with it enough to know if I would end up with other people's addresses outside of my team, but it never occurred to me that by giving USTA my home address I would be giving it to other people as well. It is easily remedied by changing your address to 123 Main St. or by using a business address. So long as you keep your home address away from USTA it was a very useful app.

Nice but still needs tweaking. I like what you’re trying to do with the app. There are just a few things that would make it so much better. It is difficult to schedule lineups in the app because you can’t see all of the info that you need to see when doing that. Announcements and things like that that you can put on the dashboard don’t even show up on the app, also, I would like to be able to see stats on the app. One other thing that I think would add a lot is if there were a notes section when adding in matches in draft mode that the captain could list which players would be scheduled for two weeks ahead, when you don’t want to post the line up yet. With that said, I did give four stars because there is a lot of potential and their support team is great.

Made my Captaining SO much easier!!. No more sending a million text to find out everyone’s availability, automatically prints my players names on the score sheet and emails everyone the line up!! Love this app!!!!

Beyond frustrating. My team captain is managing our team through this app. She must have submitted my email to team point before I opened an account. So when I tried to register, it said the email was in use BUT there was no password associated with the account. So I started an account with another email. Bow there are no teams associated at all. I added my original email address to the account. Still no dice. It looks like I’m not going to play since there is no way to just look up your team by the number.

Customer Service. It was nicer when you actually talked to a person. Now it is vms and texting - I have been with you from the start but talking to a person was nice - guess you just got to big and forgot one on one is good customer service.

Not as good as web-based version. It’s certainly one of the better apps out there for tracking availability, but I always have issues with sending emails. I hope they continue to improve the app, since most of the captains in my area use it for USTA teams.

Wont fetch date from server!!!!!. The old app was ugly, but the updated one won't even load the data. When it starts it just gives errors "Unable to fetch data from Server!" Please FIX ASAP!!!! The main reason we use TennisPoint for our teams leagues is that the app worked.

Love it. Love it but wish the feature that adds match details to your calendar would also include the address for AWAY match

Can’t add my teams. I’ve been trying to add my Usta 4.5 and 4.0’s teams for a month and still not happening. I’ve contacted support and they sent me to a list of instructions that don’t do anything for me. I can’t create a new team, i don’t see a create new team button.

Don't bother - just use the website. Missing some extremely basic features - cannot create/print a lineup or view player availability from the app. Not really sure what I paid for - I get way more functionality using the website. Definitely not worth it

Needs improvement. It would be nice to see /make food assignments in this app.

Great for team management, but not for flex league. I find this is a great app to use to manage USTA teams, but to run a flex league or participate in a flex league this app has too many bugs. Even simple features like standings doesn’t work. If the presented functions worked I would be thrilled, but till then it’s 2 stars for me.

Easy team management. Team captain here! TennisPoint is my favorite platform for team communications. Easy and efficient!

Love The App but need additional Functionality. As captain, it would be great to easily create a lineup with player contact information to send to opponents when we have to reschedule a match due to a rainout.

Great app. I captain 4-7 usta teams each season and could not do it without tennispoint! Players also love it.

Tennis app you have pay on top of buying the app. First you buy this app from I tunes and them they want money to actually use the app. The usta provides all stats necc. Very disappointed. Of I didn't have to pay to use this app I probably would have used it. I want my .99 cents back!

No stars!!!!!!!. I hate, despixe and detest this “new” version and want my old version back! I did not install this! It is cumbersome and presumptive!

Refresh. If you’re going to have weather noted, it needs to be updated with correct location weather. I’ve looked at my match multiple times in the past week and the temp says 35 when it’s going to be 60

Good for players, not so great for captains. Nice to see the lineup and directions. Need iPad version. Would be much better with the ability to do captain features such as enter scores, see and set availability, see standings, and enter scores.

Texting. Would be a great addition to be able to send updates (weather, etc) via texts to players. It's a faster way to communicate, especially when it comes to last minute changes.

Adding accounts doesn’t work. App is great except for adding accounts. I have an account and my daughter has one. Tried to add her account numerous times but it just says “Loading Accounts” and never does anything, womp. Hoping it works sometime soon.

Life Changing. This app has made being a tennis captain less arduous. The app does all the work!

Regret the purchase. Just yesterday I purchased a year subscription to TennisPoint. The main reason I use this over other lineup programs is this app. With the update, I keep getting an error 'unable to fetch data from the server.' Without the app, I'd rather go back to one of the other products for team management. Please fix!

Great App. Great App! I wish that it would give you a notification if something changes for the date you are scheduled. I.e., if my scheduled partner changed or if the captain posted a rainout, wreck on the highway and teams/players are running late.

Have to keep logging in. This used to be a great app. Then they made an update and now I have to login every day. That’s an unnecessary pain and we shouldn’t have to do that for an app on our phone. None of my other apps require daily logins.

Good app. Been using this app for years with several teams. Easy convenient

Availability. I don’t like the change to the Availability where you can’t see other teammates status. If you are looking for a week to miss that will least impact the team it helps to see the status of others.

Half Cooked. Ok as a supplement to the “fully functional” website but needs updating to provide addl functionality like creating practices, lineups. Random issue with emails not being received to established team members as well.

Not working efficiently. When I try to click I will attend drills the app will not mark that for some reason. And other girls have said the same thing! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Love Love Love!. Wish more captains would use this app! It’s so great to have everything into one location!

This application is not worth the money. Worthless for captains and not worth the space on the phone for players. Half the time the lineup doesn't even show. I can find the lineup in my email easier than this app. They should be ashamed to charge money!!

Nice app except for the email glitch. I love the fact that it works with the USTA website for schedules and contacts but sending email to players glitches too often. I need to delete the app and re-download for it to work. :(

I hate the new version. I hate the new version. It it colorless and boring. The font is light and harder to read. The directions no longer go to Google Naps and no longer show how long it will take to get there. You have to copy the address and paste it into another app. If I could go back to the old version I would. Bleh!!!

Yes!. Love having this app, much better than other tennis management options.

Design feed back. App is good. The app should integrate with the calendar on the phone. Team availability is not easy to navigate around especially if u play in multiple teams.

Easy and great support. This app is so much easier than the one we were using before! We use it for both tennis and paddle tennis. The support people are fantastic!!

Great app for captains and teammates!. Love the app but would love the ability to be able to change players’ availability like we can on the actual website.

Cumbersome. As a user it is difficult to figure out where to go to check player availability for a particular match. I’m not the captain but I’d still like to know. It’s not intuitive to find what I’m looking for

Frustrating. I play on teams that use this app. No way to access food assignments. You have to go to a computer for that. No way to find opponents’ address if you’re away. It pretty much renders the app useless.

Better than tennislink. Easier to use than USTA site and has more features. Still a little buggy.

Capt. Amazing. Works well enough some room for improvement.: Make the font a little bigger. Add team losses underneath team standings. Have a link with tennislink so you can add yourself to teams Have team histories that you have participated in.

Full calendar access is not needed. Does not work with add rights only, which is ridiculous - should not need Full calendar access. We can delete on our own. Privacy is more important

Easy to use!. Makes organization a lot easier, can handle multiple teams all in one place. Love having all the info right in the palm of my hand anytime I need it.

Clunky at best. App is not easy to use as a captain. When you email your team, it looks like the sales company Tennis Point is sending info so players ignore or it goes to spam. I am looking at alternative ways Of scheduling my team.

Tennis Point is disappointing.. Can not recommend Tennis Point. TP system will not work if TP does not have info that a person is registered with USTA. This renders you unable to put a player on your team in a lineup even if they’re registered with USTA making the whole system worthless. Spare yourself a headache and use a different App.

Better if it had more functionality…. I love the website but the app is way too limited. Can't create a lineup or edit anything really. Ok if just a player on a team but useless for a captain. See the potential from the website but need to translate to the app.

Not worth the cost. I am using this as the captain. Both the website and the app are very limited in what you can do, what you can change, etc. It is not user-friendly and I really would like to get my money back. I get better responses via email. I do use TeamSnap for my other team and that works so much better, also more expensive.
