Awesomeness. As a coin collector this eliminates the need for a jewelers loop I'm assuming would probably help in the grading of diamonds as well although I don't do that this is a fantastic application.

Exactly what I need. Not sure why anyone can rate this less than 5 stars. It does what it’s supposed to do. If you want additional features that’s fine but why rate the app less than 5????

It's alright. It does magnify, but unfortunately due to the cmos resolution, the optics and probably the apple software magnifying beyond what Apple settings allow will result in grainy outcomes... ok for the visually impaired to see a few words of small print but not much more...

Great magnifer. I love apps that are simple and are excellent in performance. This app nails it. No useless extras that i never use and love the light when needed. A must have for us older fokes.

I Have Been Waiting For This For My Whole Life..... This app is wonderful. As I get older and my eyesight gets worse, I now have the ability to see/read things that were very difficult before. And the built-in flash makes a 5-star app even better. I am a science teacher and having this magnifier has made showing my students things to make science more appealing so much easier. Works but could be better. It's nice that you can zoom in on things, but it doesn't focus on them so that could be better

Magnifying glass. I really like having a magnifying glass available to use on the go. This one is nice in that you can change the magnification power. I also love that is has the light that you can use if needed. I use it both ways as some writing on glass surfaces doesn’t show up under the light.

Great app!. After multiple eye surgeries reading fine print had become somewhat difficult. This app does exactly what it says it will and is easy to use. Reading fine print is no longer frustrating. Thanks!

Handy for the rare times you need one!. I've had this on my phone for many months, but only needed to use it today in reading super tiny print on the Tantrix puzzle label. It would take me forever to find the directions online, but The snap allowed me to read them right here and now! So sad, but my eyes are nowhere near as sharp as they used to be. Thank you for making this app!

Magnifier + Light app. I have had this app for a very long time and find it SO helpful! I think it's even been thru at least 3 phone changes with me! Today as I go thru the apps that are "keepers" for my new iPhone 7+ and locate the "non-necessities" to clean things up a bit I just had to stop & comment on the helpfulness of this one in particular (I have located more things behind dressers & under couches using this app!) and also let others know it's usefulness along with the fact that as I look under "apps by same creator"- I notice that I also have almost all of those installed as well & have found those equally as helpful the magnifier app itself. I realize this app itself has not been updated for a long time- PLEASE don't let it become obsolete & unusable! I need it!

Just what I needed!. I never write reviews so that should speak volumes. I have had vision issues that seem to be getting worse by the year. Even though I have progressive-vision glasses, they are not always the best. Especially in low-light (like at restaurants). I absolutely love this app and it's simplicity. I can tell you both my husband I will be using it daily! Thank you!

Simply Amazing. I use magnifier a lot more than I thought I might. It’s fantastic and you’ll love it too!!!

Good at times. I have an iPhone 6. My experience so far is this will be good for small, everyday needs requiring 3x-4x magnification. I would most certainly use this in a setting requiring the reading glasses I Kraft at home or in my car. But anything above 3x-4x, one should expect a certain amount of blurr. Auto-focus works best at lower magnifications, but as mag increases, the more out of focus it will remain, and there is nothing you can do about it. I feel this deserves 2 1/2 stars, but since that is not an option, I bumped it up 'cuz I'm a nice guy:) A better auto-focus at higher mags would be an easy 5-stars.

Very useful. Simple, useful, does what it says. I use it to see tiny print, serial numbers, remove splinters - everything Only improvement I can think of is if there were a screen capture / photo option to capture that magnified image

No freeze-screen function. This is a basic and simple magnifying app that is lacking in one feature I consider essential: freezing the image of what you see on-sceen. Sure, I COULD just save the screen to my camera roll with the app’s available button to do so, then open up Photos, but that’s just crazy. There are other apps that do have a freeze-screen feature already. I can’t see a reason to recommend this one.

Like the good old days!. Says what it does-does what it says! That's it -takes up a minute amount of space-even less of my money-fair -a great accesory for an expensive tool-

Handy tool. I picked the app up recently after bumping into it. I find it useful for those fine print & bad light situations. I suspect you will too.

Iphone X Problem. Not friendly for adjustments with Iphone X as adjustment efforts slides entire app. Perhaps it may need a delete and reinstall? After deleting the app and reinstalling I found it more stable with adjustments with "X" but still not stable enough.

Very handy tool !. Many a times while reading nutrition labels I desperately needed a Magnifier , and this App came in handy. Thanks for such a brilliant App, a lot of thought has gone into making this a handy and user friendly app.

What’s the point?. Simple design (which is good) but I can’t see any advantage over the built-in magnifier. And even worse it doesn’t hold the magnification setting between uses, while the built-in app does. So again I ask, what’s the point?!

Can’t be without this app!!. I got this magnifier app while on my iPhone 6sPlus but will never be without it. In my sixties, it seemed everything got smaller so having this magnifier on my phone is a no-brainer. So simple to use...I love it!

Pretty fair at best!. Anytime you enlarge anything and it gets all blurry and pixely, this app is much the same! On full magnification it's almost impossible to make out what you're looking at! Not worthwhile downloading it! Better to buy a good magnifying glass!

Strange. The thing I liked is that it didn't get blurry.. This is an excellent app. Only magnifies 6x but that's all I need. Simple full screen. Focuses fine but you have hold it steady for obvious reasons. Updated - still the only one I use

Gets Blurry Right Away. I feel as if I am using a different App than the one that gets all the high ratings and praise. I was pretty happy to learn about an App with the features this one has but wound up seriously disappointed and had to delete it. For me the magnification goes blurry as soon as I move the slider which makes the magnifier useless.

Good tool to have on my iPhone.. I use this tool surprisingly often to read small print on maps, bottles or packaging. Got a friend who forgot their glasses and can’t read the menu at a restaurant? Failure. On my screen and will not download and will not let me delete. Just says waiting. Go to app store and will not open. Not impressed. Will probably have to plug my phone into my computer and try to delete that way. Thumbs down on this end

Needs a couple more features. Good app but missing a couple more features. Needs to have a focus button or another way to auto focus. Right now you have to move the iPhone around to get the picture just right which can be a pain. Maybe use long press for focus. Also need to mention “Picture Saved” when you press the save button to confirm picture was taken.

To blurry to be helpful.. To blurry on my iPad2 to be useful. The light did not turn on when I selected the button to do so. Better luck next time guys. I think I will stick to using my glasses.😟

Magnifications glass. How does this gizmo work?

Good but..... It's fantastic when it works. Helps read things when I forget my reading glasses. Lighting is very handy for low light situations. But.... Constant refocusing makes image cycle from crystal clear to blurry unreadable. Can the app be tweaked to reduce focus sensitivity? Thanks!

Tried Them ALL. As the title states, I've tried them all. Even paid for two but not one compares to this one. I've used it mainly for inspecting my scuba gear electronics and minute pieces of equipment with impossible to see serial numbers. This app actually focuses on the object.

You see what I did there. *Improved location of Camera button-5 stars now* A good app. Very little lag as compared with a similar app I have been using, although it doesn't focus as quickly-it's probably a technical trade-off between the two functions. The minimalist layout is good. The Zoom slider is highly visible, which is nice for older eyes. The photos are very sharp. For 99¢, you don't have to squint at the print.

Amazed by picture clarity. The live interface is a little bumpy and focus kicks on a lot but if you take that picture it is sharp and tight. I downloaded it and immediately tried it in on the back of a two dollar bill in my wallet. The picture was so clear I could see the expressions on the faces of the patriots in the back of the room at the Declaration signing (one of them looked like he tears in his eyes ☻). Thanks and if you like looking at things up close then look no further.

Useful app. I love it.

Simple & Great. This app is simple & works great. Have already used it to look at tiny screws on my glasses( which are hard to see when I have my glasses off to look at). Also great for finding that sliver that you can only feel. The sliding power level is a real plus.

Used to work until recent update. Worked great until recent iOS update now it tries to open and then crashes. Too bad as it came in handy when I needed to read something and I didn't have my glasses. Maybe the developer will fix it and I will change my rating.

Off Task. Don’t need a “tip calculator” since I actually can do math. Besides I already have a great calculator on my phone already, don’t want to add to bloat so will find another magnifier

Magnifier. This app is great! It helps me to see more clearly specially in areas that are not well lit.

Much more functional and useful than I initially thought!. I have just begun to use this neat, basic little magnifier and has already exceeded my expectations! I felt something “fall” into the top of my ear canal an hour ago and tilted my head and tried to shake it (whatever it was) into my hand. Fortunately, the “speck” landed in the palm of my hand. It was too small to make out without magnification and I immediately thought to use this new magnifier to identify it. I grabbed my iPad Pro 9.7 and opened this app, turning the camera toward the ear crumb for a view. I pushed the “light” button on and focused in on the tiny ear debris. The resolution was incredible, even when turning the magnification slider to max. I was expecting the image to be inaccurate and more blurred when maxing out the camera, but it was crystal clear! I will now be using this useful little marvel as a companion to the jewelers loupe I own when the need arises. I collect Art Glass, antiques, as well as meddle in all things electronic and/or “gadgitty” so this will be added to my little “tool bag” of ID utensils. Don’t expect this to be the end all concerning magnifying glasses, but if you need a quick tool to enlarge things you can’t ID see with your own eyes, this cool app provides the perfect fix! BTW..... the loosened ear frag that fell into the palm of my hand??? It was an East African EarWhig. A minute parasitic insect that feeds off of the dried blood of small animals, insects, or other decomposing organisms. Luckily, this creepy little bugger fell back out of my ear, because pregnant females of this species have been known to crawl into the ear canal of unsuspecting hosts and lay her eggs in its brain tissue. When the eggs turn into larvae, they feed on the blood rich brain cells until mature enough to sprout wings. They then tunnel back to the eardrum, consuming it whole, all the while leaving its fecal matter in its wiggling wake. It finally exits by flying through the same ear canal while leaving the host half deaf, half dumb, and totally insane in the membrane!

Very useful app. I've been looking for this kind of app and found this one to be the best so far. It is very handy when having to read fine print, for example, on printout and devices. The provided light is also very useful when the lighting is not good enough. A possible enhancement- it might useful to have a mode where we can see the actual size with a magnifier circle where we can touch and drag it to magnify different parts. This way we also see the overall context of where we are looking.

5 star rating. You must get this app! It is just like eye clops! First of its kind.

Superfluous. It's not that it doesn't do what it says. It's just that my camera does it better. It takes a couple of enlargements, but then I don't have to have yet another app to take up room on my iPhone.

Worthless app. The app distorts what you are reading. People read flat pages, but this adds a weird curve that makes it impossible to read anything, except for maybe one word.

Screen is blank. Gave app permission to use camera and I see a blank white screen with a slider and the sun icon which turns the flash on. Disappointing. Might not be IOS 10 compatible. 😂

Simple, just what I need. This ingenious little app has a slider that allows you to magnify anything (e.g. fine print) that the camera is pointing at. You can also use the flash to light things up. It's handy and easy to use. Great job!

Best app. I downloaded this app to help with some work I had, but I did not know how handy and useful will be on every day little things! A most have app for when you need to look a tiny letters, etc.

Awesome App. I'm at that age where it's impossible to read really small print without reading glasses. This app solves that problem. I like how I can adjust the size of the print too.
