Robust app. I have this app controlling my 10 yr-old Pioneer home theater-in-a-box, Apple TV3, Sharp 4K TV using GlobalCache GC100 and IR. It also works great on the Roku Ultra via IP. The macros/scenes really help the WAF. I can watch Apple TV with the press of one button. It powers on the TV and AMP, sets them to correct inputs and wakes the Apple TV. I can then easily navigate the ATV menus using the app. Who needs expensive, vendor locked solutions like Control4? Everyone can install like a pro with this app. Get yourself a GlobalCache device and you'll be hiding your equipment out of view without losing function.

User friendly home theatre control. as we have multiple devices we have a pile of different remotes and had to use a different remote for every task. Amazing Bose Control App!. The only thing better than this amazing app is the support! Had a question on the setup and sent an email to support at 7pm - received a response within ten minutes! Danny resolved my issue and I was controlling my V20 with multiple zones (SA3's and non-Bose amps) within minutes. There is simply is no better way to control your A/V system! UPDATE: Have used MyURemote for more than three years as a whole yacht control aboard a 60 foot Sunseeker Predator. There is nothing on the market that controls a Bose system better! Horribly Complicated Setup. Unless you’re an IT specialist, pass this one by. I tried to set it up to use with my LG TV, Bose Lifestyle system, and Verizon Fios, but the set-up was so complicated and confounding that I couldn’t even get through the initial settings. One of the biggest waste of money I hzve made in a long time.

Never worked. This app never even opened up on my phone. If you want to pay 17 dollars for an app that does nothing but crash, go ahead and flush your money down the toilet. There is no actual tech support, just an automated message that tells you to adjust your network. Seriously so frustrated this is the biggest sham. Do not wast your money.

Could not get it to work. I was able to connect and get some of my devices to respond to the remote when powered on but I could not use the app to power things on or off; which is why I really wanted to try the app. It also would not respond to the Bose Solo connected via the Samsung TV which meant I still had to use all the remotes to turn everything on and off and use the Bose remote to control the solo speaker. I have contacted support for a refund.

Complete garbage. Save your money. The app has a terrible interface that’s difficult to use. Impossible to get a refund. If you look at their webpage they hype it as having a brilliant UI, easy to use. It’s not. Everything goes through a clunky Safari-based interface. They advertise many devices as being compatible with IP control when (in fact) they’re not. I bought it because I though I could use it and save $80 by not buying an IP to IR adapter for one of the rooms in my house that had devices all listed as IP compatible. Not so. Save your money, go with Roomie instead - better UI, good customer support, everything just works.

Solution to control all of the devices you have from an iPad. We were looking for a solution to control all of the multi-media devices we have from an iPad. After I did some searching, I found MyURemote. I supplied MyURemote with the IP Commands for the projectors and after a few debugging sessions, the new device was up and running. MyURemote along with GlobalCache hardware solved our problem. The people at MyURemote were very cooperative and helpful. I would recommend MyURemote to anyone with the need to control home devices or multi-media via WiFi.

Great app!. This is a great app. I love it! Got rid of all my remotes. Even better than the app is the customer support. Danny Verdegem was excellent, He responded quickly to any questions and was very patient and persistent in making sure everything was working correctly. It is nice to buy something that you actually get good customer support with.

Getting there. This app isn't perfect yet, but it's getting better all the time. I'm giving it 5 stars based on the excellent customer service I have received from the support team. They are quick to answer questions and get issues resolved.

Bose Control Finally. It took a little to figure it out. Once the first tab was set, the rest were easy. I was going to sell my Bose Lifestyle until I found this. I am using the WF2SL adapter for the interface. If I were to do this again, I would have gone with the IP2SL. Also, this now allows me to control my satellite & Internet radio, with their independent I-remotes, interfaces into my Bose system.

Great app and tech support. I've been using my uremote for about a year in a fairly complex home theater environment, and I have yet to find anything that it hasn't been able to do. I've got a mix of IP and IR components that the app controls almost flawlessly, and there have been plenty of nice little extras - bells and whistles, neat features, etc. - that show how much thought and effort has gone into developing, maintaining and improving this app. In that regard, I couldn't be happier. Unfortunately, MyUremote's customer support hasn't been on the same level in my experience. On several occasions, I've asked questions or reported minor bugs, only to be either building an even better app.

With my phone, i can now control my BOSE system, outdoor speakers, pool speakers, TV, radio, Apple TV input changes into Bose, etc. And every time I email the support team for questions, issues, and even recently when I changed routers- they were quick in helping me setup and reconfigure. excellent. worth much more than what i paid for the app and the small smart-connect device. thanks guys! keep it coming

Highly customisable alternative for pronto. After breaking my Philips Pronto universal remote control, I am now using this as my remote, and it works great! It's highly customisable, and flexible.

The ultimate remote control app. MyURemote also uses a combination of software and hardware. However, unlike many other apps, MyURemote leverages you home's WiFi network to send commands, allowing it to communicate with just about any wifi enabled device - AV equipement. Users first create an account, devices and zones (rooms). The app then communicates with a separatly-sold gateway that, in turn, sends commands to the IR-based devices. MyURemote can also communicate with TCP/IP-based devices directly.

NOT SURE WHAT I’M DOING. The app is a bit misleading. I have a marantz slim line and the description made it seem as though I could use my iPad as a universal remote for my reciever, tv, and chrome cast. However, there’s no setup for a non-WiFi reciever without an IP. I do not wish to pay $30 for an app and then have to buy an IR blaster. Please advise if I’m missing something

Excellent tech support. So after 10 yrs my bose av18 system failed to respond to the remote. I was debating whether to buy another media ctr as all the in wall speakers are still working. But after much research came across this MyURemote. I am not a tech person at all. So obviously failed to initiate the connection between the remote But Danny from tech support was awesome and sent me response within 24 hrs and fixed it. It was amazing i have control of my bose system again. Thank you Danny

Don't bother. This thing is just overly complicated, plus expensive, if you are looking for something simple, this is not, I'm a network tech and I'm haven problems configuring it, not only that it crashes. Do not waste your time, I haven't even been able to create a tab, if you want one that work, she'll out the cash and buy yourself a Logitech or any other one, or if you get lucky with an app here post a review. Again do not buy this .. Wish there was a way to get the money back but just like any other app once you buy it you own it, no money back.

Awesome app!. I have only written a handful of reviews as usually I am disappointed with the application or the support. I purchased this app recently, and was surprised at its simplicity and ability to get at what was needed. I wanted an application that allowed me to control my home theater devices while working on my iPad. The app is easy to set up and you will be up in no time. I did run into a problem with one of my devices. I reached out for support, and worked with Danny. I presented the problem and he worked tirelessly to help figure it out. The device I wanted to control presented a challenge, as there was a lack of documentation available. We exchanged emails back and forth, to test my device. I am happy to say Danny got everything is working as expected. GET THIS APP!

Excellent Remote and Great Service. This app works perfectly with my Bose Lifestyle system and with multiple zones. It was easy to configure and I have been very pleased with the result! No more need to buy extra remotes for extra zones! Also, the support team has been incredibly helpful. They helped debug a problem over email, responding to questions within a few hours. I also wanted to be able to remotely turn on/off my IP enabled Sharp Aquos TV and the support team helped build some custom macros to make that happen. Highly Rated and Recommended!

Garbage. Does not auto detect devices in network. When a smart TV is setup manually, the only option of control is to select IR control. Was looking for an all out IP control solution as all my devices ARE on the network. And no, I’m not buying the Global Caché after wasting $15 on this. I expect a full refund for misleading advertising.

Doesn’t really work - Don’t buy it. I bought this remote to control my home theater equipment but the only thing I got to work is my Marantz receiver. It doesn’t pair with my LG tv. Every other remote I tried does that. Regarding to the description on the webpage it has an easy to configure interface. It also says under features : The audio-video interface has the same look and feel as your old remote - really. Mine looks not like my old one and I can’t find anything on their webpage how to change the interface. A lot of things that are mentioned there don’t exist. How do I create buttons or sliders? Where is the device database? And there seems to be no support whatsoever. I sent them an email last week but never got an answer. Is that company still in business or is that just another way to make money? $30 for an app that not really works and no way to test it before you buy. Can I get my money back? Probably not. Just another scam.

After update app is broken. This is app was extremely confusing to set up and add devices, apparently none of my tvs or devices are compatible with this "universal remote" plus after the recent update, app crashes upon opening or gives me "internal error has occurred" after logging in and does nothing. Total waste of money, don't bother with this app.

Awesome customer service. Great app and customer service. I had an issue with my app not working correctly because of my programming error’s. I contacted customer service and they replied and immediately fixed the issue.

MyURemote Support. I downloaded the MyURemote App and tried to use it. No luck. I contacted Technical Support. I was contacted by Danny Who sent me links to some videos to watch and try again. I still did not get it to work. Then he asked me to call him, so he could help me through TeamViewer. He took control of my PC remotely and started to work to resolve my problem. Danny found some problems with my Wi-Fi network. He worked very diligently and got my remote to work. It was 10:00 PM in Belgium on Saturday. Support beyond the call of duty.

Not intuitive and not easy to use. I downloaded this app based on reviews and having viewed the promotional video on the website. The app promises to be intuitive and easy to set up as well as use. Nothing could be further from the truth. Programming is next to near impossible on a small device. Programming via laptop, easier to negotiate, however, unsuccessful. I did not contact customer support as if this were 'intuitive' and 'easy to use' basic programming should not require such communication. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This purchase was for $34+ and was to replace my Bose Remote and that remote is 1. impossible to see in the dark due to lack of back illumination and 2. still not compatible with Apple TV after all this time.

Love this app. I have been using this app for a couple of years now and it is great. I have a Bose Lifestyle system with 12 SA-3 zones through the House and this app was the solution to allow me to control all of the zones from my phone (instead of using the 12 individual remotes).

Kick it to the curb!. What an archaic and disfunction-able toolset. No way this works with the Bose Lifestyle 600, or even with my Sony Brevia. Only a couple controls worked with the TV, and the Bose would only power on a couple times, and then nothing. The documentation is disjointed and at times indecipherable. Huge gaps. I wasted the better part of the day, not to mention 30 bucks. Can anyone say "intuitive"? NOT!

Simplify the use of your AV setup. If you are looking for simplicity, this is the app. We have a yamaha amp and bluray, cable tuner, kodi and plex media player and electric projection screen. So we have a pile of different remotes. To control my setup I was looking for simplicity that doesn't cost a fortune. Fantastic App with UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING support. The app is truly fantastic. Combined with a Global Cache IP2IR box, the app easily controls my AppleTV, TiVoHD, LG TV, LG Blu-ray, and Marantz amp, all from one easy to navigate screen on my IPhone and/or my iPad...and that’s barely scratching the surface of what the app is capable of controlling. The same MyURemote app installed on one or multiple iPhones can control multiple A/V setups across multiple rooms in your home. It’s truly remarkable. The best part, tho, is the support. The developer is extremely responsive and helpful in answering even the dumbest emailed questions. He even updated the app with a custom config file for my crazy Marantz amp...and it worked! Well Worth It!!. I have had the app for about a month and it is very smooth. I primarily purchased this app with the intention to use it with my Dune HD box. Although it sort of worked at first I contacted Danny (The developer) and he managed to get a patch out very quickly. The app is very useful as it works with many devices so ya. I will not however that at first setup can be a bit confusing as it just drops you into the settings menu but it does automatically find devices after one minute so that helps. I recommend you try the app, although the $16 price may scare you away it’s very fair for what you are getting. If you go on the devs website there is a list of supported devices (150 ish) or even more by now and along with the quick response from the dev it is well worth it!

Good program to control Bose with Multiple Rooms. Myuremote is easy to use. Managed to get it up and running quite quickly with the Global Cache iTach Wifi to serial controller. You can use your iPhone or iPad to control multiple rooms. Danny created more rooms for me as I have a multiple room setup. Would have given it 5 stars if it could change format and detect if its an iPad or iPhone.

Doesn't work. I can't get this to work in lg tv or Panasonic blue ray DVD player. I live in Aus. Cannot find any contact details to ask for money back either.

Not a product you should pay money for. This app shows promise but it is far to buggy and slow to be usable. I could forgive it’s shortcomings if it were free. As paid software though? It’s not ready.

Useless. Does not work, waste of money

What a truly brilliant app. What a truly brilliant app, I now have control of all 8 zones of my Yamaha and APART system from my iPad and iPhone, no longer do I have to search for all those remotes. The initial set-up is intuitive and straightforward and results in a user interface that is not only pleasant to use but more instinctive for my family to use than OEM remotes. As my system is complex I required additional devices to be set-up in the library, Danny @ MyURemote did this promptly at no additional charge. I intend to further use the possibilities of this app to control my house heating system, view the CCTV and develop macro’s to further automate my home entertainment system with this brilliant product, I know I can count on Danny’s support to achieve this – Keep up the good work MyURemote

Regret!. Regret not reading or understanding the small print. Having spent nearly $50 to buy this app I find I now need to spend another $200 to make it work with a couple of my devices. Foxtel and a Bose Solo 5. I’ve no doubt it would be good but not for $250 all up. Much cheaper options. A refund was refused.

Still just a great app.. I’ve been using this app for years and it’s been wonderful. Intuitive and well organized, it just works. I have two global cache controllers and with this app, I have total subscriptionless control over my AV equipment both old and new. This is simply just a good app and does what it is supposed to do.

Nice!. Nice universal remote ctrl app. Macro buttons make you can simplify your AV system. Supports IR (global caché), and IP control with live feedback. Easy-of-use.

Conference room guy. Does not work without an amplifier. My system does not have an amp, it is simply a projector I want to control remotely. Dies not work. Would like a refund. Does not deliver $37 in value. Just wasted several hours and $250 on Global Cache controllers.

Not impressed at all. For $36 I would expect an AP universal remote that works across many AV devices. This ap is pretty basic. It does not control my BD player and besides switching the hdmi inputs and volume control on the receiver, it does not control the receiver or television. Needs lots of work!!!!!

Don't buy!!. If all of your devices are WiFi enabled, buy. Otherwise save your money!!! You need to buy another device if your devices are controlled by IR!!!

Worthless. You need an advanced degree in tech to get this set up. Unless you are very tech savvy, pass on this one. It is a waste of money and very poor explanations and directions. Don’t throw away your money unless you are confident of your expertise.

Don't waste your money. This app is a complete waste of money. I'll try to get a refund. Not intuitive at all. Organization of the app is awkward. Description of the commands are non descriptive. And graphics are cheap looking. Trying to figure out how to use this platform is like impossible. Please warm the buyer that they need detailed knowledge of coding.

A huge waste of money. This app is a nightmare to set up. There is no database of device information, and if it can't automatically detect your devices, programming it manually is absolutely daunting. Just buy a universal remote. Don't waste your money on this.

Clunky. Clunky. Clunky.. Clunky web app wrapped in an iOS app. Works ok with my lifestyle v35. So much functionality is not accessible that one can get on the bose remote (perhaps not available). Text is tiny and difficult to read on an iPhone screen (it is a glorified web app). Can't believe I paid so much for this thing.

Limited IP support. Website and App Store overview says unmatched IP support and even listed all my products, but it wouldn't even control my Apple TV over IP...only gave an IR option requiring an external gateway. Very misleading overview and most disappointing purchase on App Store to date to say the least.

Does not work at all on my phone. I expect a full refund!! The app continues to tell my my WiFi is not enabled... can’t get anything to register Update: Received a response and have no clue what they are trying to say... it should not be this difficult, just refund the money.

Perfect. Perfect app for my Bose lifestyle system. I use this as remote in my living room and 3 extra zones and it works great!

Total disaster. Crashes constantly. Eventually quit working altogether, even after iPad restart. Criminal to charge $40 for this pre-alpha experiment. Apple needs to have a better vetting process. Stunningly bad.

Buyer Beware. I bought this app thinking it would turn my iPhone into a universal remote. I should have been more knowledgeable before shelling out the $36. It turns out you need to purchase and configure an additional hardware controller device before this app can do anything. Live and learn I guess.

Don’t buy. I thought I’d be able to control my tv and Bose system but nothing connects. I should have known better.

Won’t connect to Apple TV. So far, I have been unable to get this app to control my Apple TV. I have submitted a support request to the developer. I’ll be requesting a refund soon.

No One Is Going To Help You. I purchased this app and I have sent 2 emails asking for help to my problem. There is no response from them. They are not going to help.

Do not buy this!!!. While the reviews have been mixed, I took the risk. I’m very fluent in computers, this app does not work. Additionally , it appears emails to their support goes no where. Requests for refunds go unanswered and there is no offer for any support.

Worst App Ever. Pretty sure all other reviews are fake. Don't waste your money on this overly priced app. The app itself doesn't do anything. For it to work you need to buy about $200 worth of other equipment. Such as a controller, Ethernet cable, and wireless router. Plus it's extremely complicated to use! First review I ever wrote, and am very disappointed with this app.
