CoPilot GPS Navigation Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Not good!. I've unfortunately been using this app for three years because when they update the app I feel like it gets better before it gets worse. I don't know why I'm paying ten bucks a month for this app. The roads don't update very often and the app will try to take me down cemetery roads and non existent roads. It also constantly tries to bring me down one way streets and no truck roads. If your going to use this app you have to constantly look at your phone to make sure it's not screwing you into a ticket. On top of all this the app will randomly freeze and you'll have to restart it. Most times you don't realize it froze until you've gone way past your turn. Find another truck gps app!

TRASH APP. Honestly, take down the app. Dissolve the company and all of you jump off of a bridge. How could you put out such a trash app? I use this app for work. I use a truck profile and this thing will ask me to bang a uturn on a divided highway. It will send me down a road and lead me to a bike path. It will tell me odd numbers are on the right when they’re on the left. It will have me take a left to get to a location when the address is to the right. It brought me down a road that led to a dirt road that led into someone’s driveway. It has brought me down a dead end as if the road continues. It will ask me to turn around safely in a culvers sack but then when I miss a turn on a main road it will lead me three or 4 miles away from my route to turn me around and bring me back. It doesn’t learn. It takes me out of my way instead of down the shorter route. It will take me down main roads instead of side streets where there are no restrictions. TRASH!

Great For Offline GPS car navigation. I was reviewing gps apps and this one so far seems the best. It is fast and reliable in its navigation. I would much rather use offline gps apps like copilot since they do not rely on cell signal which are not available everywhere and why use cell data if u dont need to. The traffic feature does use cell data but only a little and u can turn that off if u want when going overseas etc. i like also that u can download certain areas of the usa or europe maps which saves space.

Great for Pilot Cars. I’ve been using this APP for roughly 6 years. It allows you to drop pin on specific routing. You have the ability to save the route for a future use. I prefer this app over enroute because it allows you to us unlimited pin drops. Room for improvement: I wish the app had a tool where I could share this route with another user. Occasionally, when putting in 10 drops, somehow the system swaps pens, and you have to go back and fix that. Overall, I recommend this app to several people and have help them set it up.

A great Navigation app try it!. This is a great innovative flexible and easy to use navi app you don’t need to use your data connection but recommends to turn better accuracy which helps it coordinate but it’s not always accurate with directions but a lot of navi apps have them issues as well. One problem I noticed is when you want to search for a business or like a location it may not show up in search. But seems to be getting even better over the years. So for the price of $10 for voice turn instructions and the functionality and reliably I would recommend this app as current version!

Used to love this app. I have used and bragged about copilot to my friends for years. However, this recent up grade is terrible. Not only was I forced to upgrade just when I needed to use the app off line, the conversion was complex and I had to re-enter all of my favorites individually as they would not transfer over. Then, and only then, did to learn that the find feature to access my favorites and other items is now a “premium”. Such a basic function now with the premium cost. Ugggg. Now, just went to upgrade, so I could use the search feature. Only upgrade includes online access. The best feature of copilot was being able to navigate off-line. If I wanted to be online and burning through data why use this when Google maps and other online services are available. I think I’m done with copilot. Very sad.

Not reliable. Got me into trouble. It seems they aren’t updating this app accurately. To start I was experiencing several incidences where this app did not recognize the address I entered and would give me another option nearby. But I could accept this, however there were several times using this app that it would freeze and not update. And unless I was paying attention I could have missed a turn or something important. In order to overcome the freeze I would have to force close the app and reopen/ load it. That’s a concerning issue with regards to confidence of the product. But my topper to canceling my subscription and deleting the app was the directions it gave me to get on the freeway to other night, it instructed me to turn left so I was in the left lane pulling 70’ of Coach and trailer . It wasn’t till I neared the point where there should have been a left turn lane that I realized the app is wrong and I was supposed to have been on the right side of the road 3 lanes over to a helix on-ramp. And it became clear this on-ramp system had been there for many many years. I was left with having to navigate through small streets and come back around. For me, A subscription based app focused on trust for driving directions, it was a fail on a gargantuan level. No go for me Copilot. You aren’t worthy.

Copilot RV review after 1600 mile trip. I bought this thinking it would be a great app for RV GPS guidance. Well let me list the pros: Interface is good with traffic display Customize view RV set up Speed alerts * more on this issue with speed alerts Downloaded maps *. Issues below Search function is OK. Not bad but you have to enter city zip then enter address or name. Would be easier with just one search entry Cons. Download maps are not upgraded. We ran into many situations that my wife’s WAZE running at the same time saved us. Copilot had missed turns directly to RV spots and I entered the address to the spot. Missed turns on 2 locations that Waze saved us. The lane assist arrows are so small at the top of the iPhone you can’t see them especially in sun light. The speed alert went off so many times I turned it off. I am in a RV I don’t speed but it went off. Thought it might be me and raised the alert to 10mph over and still would go off at random times. Overall I can not trust the app which is why I bought it. We ended up using WAZE since we could not trust Copilot. Overall a 2 but it has promise just not there yet.

Glad it's finally been taken over by a map/GPS company!. We've been using CoPilot for several years now for a GPS while traveling in our RV - ever since Rand McNally abandoned their RV GPS app (we lost $99 on that one). When we bought CoPilot originally, it had several very nice features but when it was first sold off, the new owners (ALK?) unbundled many of the good features and we lost stuff we had already paid for. (Must have been taking lessons from the airlines.😆) Now that Trimble has taken over, our favorite features have returned and it looks like this is going to be a good iteration, as long as they don't get greedy. We give it 4 stars because we just got it and we're not sure how it will work in use but it looks good so far.

Worked great overseas without cell coverage. My wife & I traveled to Italy recently. Before we left the States I downloaded the map of Italy and identified our key destinations and the routes between them. CoPilot worked perfectly our entire time in Italy. We did not need to use any cell phone coverage. CoPilot knew every little road we took & when we made a wrong turn it always led us back. The only time CoPilot got confused was when we were in a big city with tall buildings around & my phone lost the GPS signal. That could happen with any GPS device, however, so I don’t fault CoPilot. Once my phone caught the signal, CoPilot was right there. I particularly liked having the routes planned in advance. When we traveled off the beaten path, I could easily retrieve a saved destination and, bam, CoPilot would route us there. Easy-peasy. Since we do not speak Italian, CoPilot gave us, me in particular since I did all the driving, a lot of confidence on the road. No need to have a road map open. No stress over asking, “Is this our exit? On what street do I turn? How do you spell that? Ack!” CoPilot gave us plenty of advance notice & clear directions. Whew! I recommend this app.

A good app, but terrible support!. I’ve been using the app for about a year and it has never issued a bad instruction. It’s multiple route to choose from and the traffic features are a real winners. The problem comes when you try to reach someone at the developer for tech support. They are slow to respond, don’t answer your question and leave you high and dry. My subscription is still with in the one year I paid for, but the app is back to basic mode and asking me to pay again. A simply fix for them, you’d think, but no. It’s been 3 days and now the weekend is here and I have no option but to repurchase something for which I’ve already paid. I rely on this app to assist me in safely and reliably doing my job and have communicated that to them, but have been ignored. So buy this app with the knowledge that you may be on your own. Same problem again!! Absolute rubbish support!!!

No CarPlay support. This app is fantastic in most ways. My two complaints are 1) this is not compatible with CarPlay so it doesn’t show up on my dashboard screen like Google Maps does. Instead I turn Google on with the volume muted and run Copilot on my phone with the volume on. This is sometimes confusing but much easier to glance at than the tiny phone screen. My other complaint is I can’t share saved trips across devices. They are saved as files locally to my device so I can’t open it on my wife’s phone for when she is driving. I have to duplicate the trip manually. For some reason Copilot rarely has truck stops by the brand and address shown on Google. This is usually okay to work around but I do find it odd.

Good idea, issues with routing. I liked the of real-time RV routing without selling my soul to good Sam but after using for two weeks on a long RV trip I have some issues with the routing. Going through several major cities on I40 it consistently wanted to rout via bypasses even though the straight through routes were faster. It also has a tendency to take you off interstates for short stretches on secondary roads and then put you back on the same interstate. This makes no sense for RV routing. I find my self having to check the copilot routing against google maps to make sure it doesn’t do anything stupid. After completing a 50 day cross county Rv trip I still have lots of issues with the routing. In several cases we were routed on small gravel roads totally unsuited for an RV. Looks like I’ll need to look for an alternate solution

Terrible EXPERIENCE. I have this app specifically for when we travel with our RV and haul our Toyota Camry behind. This directed us down gravel roads with turns so tight, the front end of my Toyota is a mess from the dolly being jack knifed, causing the front end of my brand new car to hit the back of my RV. This is unacceptable. If I could score this app lower than a 1, I would. I am attempting contact customer support with no success. Not only did I literally put my family’s lives in danger at the dangerous road conditions through a gravel road in the Smoky Mountains, but my brand new car is smashed. I had my car type and length in the app, but that did not matter. I can not explain how terrible this trip was. I would NOT recommend this app and in fact will now have to pay quite a lot to fix my car. Ridiculous.

Used to love it...updated to junk. This used to be a pretty good gps for the truck although it had is quirks like wanting you to take off ramps and get right back on the interstate. Now to the latest update...they brag about optimizing the eta for stoplights and traffic but all they did is make it useless! I used to be able to look at the eta and add 15 minutes or so and be dead on and now it’s on average 3 to 4 hours off and is completely useless. At least my Rand McNally had the option to fine tune the eta to your driving style and I didn’t have to pay yearly for it. Also the maps are way out of date and never have newer addresses so I’m stuck using my phone when I get close to where I need to go

Disappointed. Had read some good reviews but in general have been disappointed with the interface of the app and poor location choices for searches over months we have had the app. St Augustine Florida does not populate as a search choice, for example, (either when trying to plan a route from New England. Any “web” search is just a yelp handcuff. The routing has been good through the tricky parts of CT, NJ and NY pikes, but that is not enough to overcome the inability to give a reasonable destination for initial route planning or when changing a destination on the fly. It would have warranted 4 stars if it were a lower cost subscription or was free. Not likely to renew the subscription.

Hot garbage. For an app that charges money for RV navigation, this is impressive hot garbage. First, the points of interest - I’m just checking this in Winnemucca, NV right off I-80. I’m missing the RV park that I’m currently in while testing, and worse, both the Flying J and Pilot stations are just not there. Non existent restaurants, restaurants which have been here for years, missing... The clunky 4 year old interface does not scale to iPhone 11 Pro Max? Are you kidding me? It’s called Xcode and Swift. Maybe your programmers should explore that someday. And let’s get to the grand fallacy - no CarPlay support. The last thing on their website is from 2018 saying they were looking at it. It’s been 2 years, folks! That’s inexcusable. I’m towing with a Ford, and it’s had CarPlay for at least three years back... I’m not giving that up. I’m sticking with Apple Maps and maybe Truck Maps while anywhere near Delaware and their weird tunnel restrictions. So to summarize- hot garbage, ancient non-updated interface, wildly inaccurate POI to the point of being inexcusable for anyone wanting to use this with a truck or an RV with a Good Sam membership, no CarPlay. Aaaaand, deleted app.

Updated; Getting better. Update: after contacting the developers I found that I did not lose my previous purchase as it appeared. I have checked several routes I travel both with my camper and without. CoPilot has performed better than using google maps! Google maps assumes I am in a car, CoPilot routes me on better roads for RV travel. In fact, comparing my known routes (google v. CoPilot), CoPilot was the only one who gave me reasonable travel directions. Google gave several back roads I know I can’t travel. The app it’s self is ok and getting better. I am very disappointed that I paid full price, over $60 last year for this app, and now it is being marketed as a free app with subscriptions. The subscriptions are significantly less expensive then when I purchased the app. I purchased the app for an RV and paid for one year of Active Traffic.... now this is less than half the price. ALK Tech really owes its customers something for purchasing at the original price. If nothing else they should give a second year of the service to the account. Also the customer service is very lacking. No where can I find a contact for the CoPilot service to ask these questions... only for the parent company that likely won’t lead anywhere.

Incorrect information on maps. Here’s what I’ve noticed after purchasing, using, and running this side by side with Google Maps. 1- The maps are outdated. For example, on the east coast there are large areas of freeway and highway that have changed their exit number (don’t know why) but this map shows the old number. Google shows the updated numbers. 2- more importantly, there were at least 2 instances where the map told me to take an exit that was incorrect. For example, it said “stay to the left and follow exit 6B when in fact I needed to take a cloverleaf hard right exit to get on to 6B. The illustration was incorrect and labeled the exit incorrectly. Got me in trouble twice which is why I keep Google maps on to double check the info. I bought this app to help guide my RV around low clearance bridges, etc. it has done that so far but with the correction help of Google. Overall not happy with this app and unfortunate that I paid for it. Update- Got a reply with a question mark at the end of a statement and a cookie cutter response. On the latest trip it kept routing me off the road to a small road that went right back to the road I was on. Wish I could just get my money back.

It’s Often Incorrect. This gps often shows incorrect street signs, or exit names. I often missed my exit off the expressway because the gps showed something different than what I was looking at in real life. It was very frustrating. It’s just not as accurate and up to date as more popular gps’s. I also didnt like that there wasn’t an option to pause your music or podcast while the turn-by-turn voice spoke. Other gps will do that and this one wont. I also found that it will sometimes randomly redirect you even if you were on the path it told you to be on. It’s just not a great app. I wanted something different than apple maps, but this app is only different in negative ways.

Almost A Great GPS But Not Quite. I’ve been testing different kinds of GPS apps available. But there’s one feature I’m looking for which is not available in the settings, the avoid toll feature. This is readily available in others so if you coud add this in the settings then it would be great. On the otherhand, the offline reliablity beats the top perforning app. So if you’re running out of data and in places where there’s barely a signal, this feature helps a lot. Moreover, the display is amazingly colorful which makes it not boring when compared to others. I’ll continue to use it and let you know if there are other problems I can find.

Downgrade due to Privacy concerns. It’s not as good at routing as Apple Maps but privacy is important to me so I rated this app with five stars in the past as it didn’t track. I liked how they used their own maps instead of Google or Apple. The app does use Yelp but only when searching for POI. I use the app with information sharing off. Unfortunately, I am lowering my rating due to the app sharing data with Google, Facebook and Yahoo. If my data is going to be shared with these companies then there really is no reason to use the app since it’s routing is less accurate than the big guys. Regarding the developers response. I have been using the app a lot less due to privacy concerns. So were I still a regular user and fan the numbers would be a lot higher. I just checked the privacy report. There have been 9 connections to Google, 7 to Microsoft, 7 to Yahoo and 1 to Facebook. 🤔

Good and Bad. This app is so much more flexible than the other gps apps I’ve used! I love that I can control the look of the app, set my preferences, easily change routes, etc. HOWEVER, I don’t like that the routing instructions are frequently wrong and sometimes even dangerous! Yesterday in Philadelphia, it told me to take several turns that were the wrong way on one way streets. Then it tried to get me to drive past my exit, go a mile, make a u-turn and go back to my exit! When I ignored it and just took my exit, it kept trying to route me back until I got 10 miles up the road - then it gave up. I am using the latest version of the app and the latest update of the maps. In summary, love the app most of the time but very frustrated with some of the routing instructions.

Very useful app. We used this on a cross country trip from Florida to Oregon and back towing a 37’ fifth wheel trailer. The downloadable maps are essential as there is sparse cell service in some areas of the country. The app worked well. Trip planning is very nice. There is a learning curve, but its not insurmountable. Also, the app sometimes did strange things when trying to change a route by dragging the calculated route. We used this on an ipad with a Dual XGPS150A receiver over Bluetooth connection. A very good setup indeed. Note that this was an older version (early 2018) of the app.

Increasing disappointment. I wanted to make sure I use this app for longer than a year before I gave a review. I have taken 7x 12hr + plus trips and countless 2 to 8hr trips. The app has frozen on every trip involving my RV multiple times. I shouldn’t have to do a hard reset every time at random times during my trip. ilThe app has taking me down gravel roads and small neighborhood taking me off of main road just to get back on the main road, it has added an hour plus drive time due to its inner difficulties that I could not control or would have had to micromanage the trip as it was a in progress. Save your money and stress and find another app that utilizes rv towing

Failed Test Before Actual Use!!!. I tried to test this app before purchasing to see if it would be helpful for navigating a trip in our RV. I couldn’t so I purchased the RV app $29. I then tested the app by choosing a destination that I knew would be a scary route in any large vehicle. Sure enough, the route from Sedona AZ (Rancho Sedona RV Park) to Flagstaff AZ gives only 2 options for routes! One is the switchback and very steep route and the other takes you on an undeveloped dirt road! Try it and then do a satellite image you will see the switchbacks and the dirt road! When I mentioned this to the app developers, they asked me to recreate my issue and save it for them to analyze. This meant that they didn’t even try to recreate it themselves. Not proactive at all and I’m not being paid to be their quality assurance tech!

No audio 😫. I like the complete UI, the endless features and it’s dependable navigation; that is, if I’m using it visually!! ☹️ It doesn’t suit me much nonetheless though, as I do not get any Spoken TTS when my radio is playing; only works TTS in AUX mode!! I am still hoping that my Ticket submitted in this regard is answered professionally and my issue can be resolved!! I’m I the only person experiencing this problem!! 🤨 Review Update!!!! A big thanks to the CoPilot team for actually responding to my ‘review’!! I am looking forward to their next update in the hopes that my one ‘big’ issue can be resolved!!! Should this happen...I will give the best updated review in BiG Bold Letters!!! 👌🏻

Unreliable. I bought this years ago & was annoyed that my purchase didn’t count for anything when it moved to a subscription model. However, I need a reliable GPS on my phone for our RV travels. This isn’t it. On the first trip while using it Copilot directed us down a road that we should never have been on. I don’t blindly follow GPS instructions but neither Apple Maps nor my paper map indicated anything to raise alarms. After we turned into this narrow country road with swamp each side and no shoulders we reached a sign saying that there was no access for vehicles over 1/2 ton or longer than 20 feet. We’re 16 tons and 40 feet and there was no area to turn around. Backing half a mile down a country road to turn back into a busy state highway was great fun. Copilot wouldn’t reroute. It kept telling us to turn back onto that road. The second time, it routed us onto city streets that had low (very low, one was 9’) overpasses. Luckily, I picked up on that before we turned off. Then the app wouldn’t reroute. Third & last time, I ran copilot concurrently with MapQuest, and ran Apple Maps on the iPad alongside. Copilot lost signal and ran around in circles, then tried to turn us around to start the route over. Neither of the others lost our position. Copilot is now uninstalled and I wouldn’t recommend it to any truck or RV driver.

Needs Work. I made the purchase and literally canceled the very next day. I was still charged for the year subscription. However, what I didn’t like is that it’s not compatible with Apple Car Play which is a must these days. The second thing I didn’t like is that it took me on a road that was closed due to construction and once I passed my turned due to detour it kept rerouting me through small streets that I didn’t take because my RV is too big for those turns. So I had to go back to google maps. I mainly downloaded it so I can plug my RV height and width and get routes that my RV could go on but if it doesn’t recognize closed roads and it’s not compatible with Car Play really not worth it. Another problem I encountered is my RV is 13’6” and it would not accept those exact measurements even though it has the boxes asking for exact height so I had to put 14ft to be safe but that means I may be missing on a shorter route due to improper height on app. Was thinking of asking for a refund but not sure it’s worth the hassle.

No longer a truck app !. 25 years. I’ve started with pc miler by ALK then came co-pilot I used on the laptop. Then finally the phone app. I ran Rand Mc. along side Co-pilot and would laugh at how Rand was trying to route me through cities and town to get to my destination. Co-pilot was way better maybe taking you to the next exit or even using the bypass around major cities. Those days are gone now I guess. It doesn’t post the truck speed on split speed limits. It doesn’t notify you of scales coming up. I can’t find save current location to add to address folder. You need internet to find fuel stops. And routing has become frustrating. Practical is a joke anymore. I’m staying with Co-pilot because the traffic alert is great and I paid the 300+ years ago for the truck app. I will continue to use it as a backup to the Rand. But I can no longer recommend Co-pilot as a truck app especially since they are asking for a monthly fee. Should they return to improve this app and start adding useful features for trucks and truck navigation ie: weather and construction warnings scales and truck fuel stops in route like what is on the ALK app. then I would gladly change my rating and review. Co-pilot has lost their way.

This app is awful!! DO NOT BUY THE NEW VERSION!!. I originally bought CoPilot a few years ago to use while driving through Italy. It was a dream -it enabled me to falling back roads, drive without using cellular data and gave crisp voice directions which guided me through town by town. Unfortunately, this new version is unusable. When I bought the new version for Spain and Portugal I found that the cost was $25, because I could not purchase a single country map. The new version is inaccurate (the red dot indicating where you are is constantly humongous around and almost caused a number of accidents as I swerved to take an exit at the last second). It does not contain Voice (unless you pay an additional $18) and is impossible to figure out. I am usually very good with technical matters, but this one continually eludes me. Simply said, I hate it! The old version was terrific and this one is worse than asking a two-year-old child for directions.

RV Navigation. I am still running on the trial. We are using it to go from Texas back to Michigan with 3 KOA stops. There isn’t any tricky routing issues on this trip but the trip planner was helpful in planning the trek home. Being able to pick from several possible routes is nice. The voice turn by turn has worked well and if we finally decide to subscribe we will add that feature. The issues that keep me from just clicking on the Buy Now buttonthe are the lack of CarPlay projection of the map and there isn’t a description of the next action until you are fairly close to needing to execute it. In an RV and dealing with heavy traffic sometimes the verbal description of the next action gets lost and having a set of symbols describing what to do next is extremely helpful. We did put the phone in a cup holder mount so that I could see the screen, but it is not in a convenient position to just glance at it. For this to really work I will need to figure out how to mount the phone next to the trailer’s RVC display in such a way that the sun coming in through the windshield doesn’t overheat it. One feature that would clinch the deal, but it doesn’t have, is a button to tell the app to stop navigating while we take a detour or just visit a rest area. Resuming the routing would have it recalculate where it is and update the routing. We do have Waze running at the same time to get the road conditions and to display the map on the dash. It isn’t doing any routing though

Fails at Main Job. There are aspects of this app that I like. However, the main issue, and why I will no longer use it, is that it has failed multiple times to do the main thing that I got it for amd that is to avoid routes based on trailer length and height. I felt like it was worth paying the $30 for this exact feature. Otherwise, I could use Google Maps for free. This most recent time it took me right down the middle of the strip in Laughlin, NV. Come to find out, I could have stayed on a highway and avoided the tight space and traffic and been faster. Since being at this RV park I have noticed the highway route is what every other RV has taken to get here. After arriving my wife put the trip into Google Maps and it routed along the highway as well. It also often times doesn’t have the address I am looking to go to or the place by name. I could live with that, but I cannot live with it leading me on a route that is more dangerous/difficult due to our length. Again, this is supposed to be the whole reason to pay to get it. Disappointed that I wasted my money on this product.

Horrible for trucks. GPS is always out of date even when it’s updated. Constantly wrong locations, wrong road designations, speed limits, etc… Directions are the worse, example current highway requires a left hand turn to stay on, but GPS says keep left to stay on current highway. This is a constant problem with this app. The exits numbers are correct on the app, but the GPS directions don’t match the road signs. It doesn’t tell you what lane to be in to make an exit or to keep on the highway you have to make a guess and hope you’re correct. It doesn’t actively tell you how far you are from the next town or city on your current route or the nearest truck stop. This is valuable information if you are a truck driver to have when you are out on the road. Over all I would give this GPS an F- it seems like it was developed for a quick buck and not for accuracy or safety of truck drivers or the general public. Do not use this app if the following applies to you. 1. You value your own safety 2. You value your employees safety 3. You value the safety of the general public Trimble is a useless software company and all of their products are cheap and worthless.

Best one out there. Have not tried garmin but waaaaaaayyyyyy better than rand mcripoffnally. Only issue I have is eta is based off current time zone that Apple device is set to. Figure that out and subtract/add hours to figure true eta. I’ve had it run me down a non truck route in alabamy once. Other than that no problems and worth the cost. Dev seems to do regular updates. Could use crowd sourced ratings of truck stops/Wally worlds/ rest areas but it’s not a dealbreaker. Traffic updates are fairly reliable as are routes. Gj dood. It’s sad as can be that seemingly one guy can outperform rand McNally and all their billions of dollars. No joke!!!!

Arrival time 😑. It hurts that I even have to give this review because I told so many drivers about how great of an app this is .. I don’t know what’s going on it gives you one time for example take 1 he and 15 minutes and then later you go back and it says 2 hours and that’s without it saying there’s traffic .. roads are clear but give one time and then another it’s frustrating especially when your boss is asking you what time your going to arrive and it tells you one hour but ends up two like I don’t get it .. wasn’t like that before and then you can’t even talk to anyone on here

The Best. Way better than specific built truck gps’s sold at truck stops. Gets you into and out of cities, towns, etc on the truck route. Will not route on roads that are not legal for a truck, will not route you under bridges that aren’t high enough for your rig. Full customization available for hazmat, over height, over weight etc. best of all, it’s on the phone,(or tablet), you already have! If you update your device, just re download it to your new device for free. If you have bad or absolutely no cell coverage... doesn’t matter, this works off of the gps system so it’ll work anyway. Just like anything else, it isn’t perfect, I’ve found obscure, and/or new roads that wasn’t noted in the system, (and they have a way to submit that so it’ll be included in their next update), but 95 to 99 percent of the time, this gps will get you where you are going... legally. To many features to go through, but all are useful and rival what I used when I had a dedicated gps back in the day. SO GET IT ALREADY!!!

Almost Great. This app is almost great, some have complained about things they could have fixed in settings, I say learn the app and it’s features/settings before giving a negative review. I am a pilot and use navigation programs for aircraft and they are excellent as you would expect, this app is close but still needs just a bit more work to make it a bit more user friendly. Making a rout you want instead of what the computer wants can be a challenge until you learn the idiosyncrasies of the app. For those who complain about it directing them to a closed road or a low bridge I say this is a driving aid, you are the driver, stay alert stay in front of your vehicle.

Not bad. Over all its good. Only issues really annoying is when you pick a route and instead of stick with it gos trying to all the time take you through some kind of highways just to bring you to same interstate 10 miles down the road. Or it keeps wanting for you to take exit just so you can go back right on interstate. Some of the routes its splits for example instead of just keep i95 to go to fl it keeps wanting to take 95 then bunch of different highways just so you can get back to i 95 later traffic alert not that great at all and when they doing construction it tells you that interstate is closed completely and trying to reroute you

Had to downgrade. I normally don’t reviews, but in this scenario it’s must for your benefit. This version of the app added an auto renew features, which broke the app, made it completely unusable, because it won’t let us pay for the service. I actually enjoy using this gps service while I’m driving my semi. The solution for me was to downgrade my app to the last version, which was a pain, but it solved the issue. Now Customers love convenience and ease of use, forcing customers to message support to active service is basically shooting yourself in the foot. Creating an avoidable inconvenience and making it difficult for customers to pay just isn’t financially logical. Just downgrade the app from the market till you’re able to resolve this bug.

This thing almost killed us!!!. If I could give it negative rating I would . This guided us into a closed road with our 45 ft motor home and 25 ft trailer. A very narrow rd. There was also a rr track paralleling the rd and a few trains came along while we were trying to figure out what to do. Tried to back up into a rd that was crossing the track but it was uphill and we were blocking traffic as well as it would have left the trailer on the tracks if a train came along as there wasn’t a long distance and was onto the tracks as well. There was a narrow driveway with a ditch on both sides ahead and only because my husband has experience with tractors with trailers was he able to back in and get us out of there. If he had not been as experienced as he was we would have had to pay for a tow out of there, they would have had to unhook the trailer with the car and tow the motor home backwards then we would have had to have the trailer turned around and towed it back to the motor home to be hooked back up. After we did get ourselves out of there the app kept trying to reroute us back at which time we turned it off and guessed our way out of the town and back to the interstate. This took place because we relied on it to go from the campground we were at to the interstate. I am on a trial for this app and nowhere can I find out how to opt out so before you start your trial period find out how to get out of it first.

Finally fixed. It took over four months to finally fix something that should have been a minor update as soon as customers where reporting the problem. Trimble needs to be doing a better job than that. A rendering problem on something that is inherently graphical is a show stopper. Most people pay a monthly fee for this software. I’ve been a long term user of their software and it’s going to take a lot for them to regain my trust after all the broken promises and delays. Hopefully the newest update doesn’t introduce any new bugs to the mess. Having said that, it’s nice that the broken features are back and functioning. When it works properly, it’s pretty much the best truck navigation available. You guys really ought to be using testflight to test changes with willing actual users before releasing updates that break existing functionality.

Works great … much better look than Garmin!. Love the look of the detailed maps on an iPad. We choose off the beaten path routes usually and when you do this the Garmin is out of it’s element. The confused Garmin thinks we are driving on someone’s lawn … doesn’t even show a road? One bug is when on “motorcycle” in settings, co-pilot sends you off the interstate and then back on the interstate for a two minute unneeded detour. Another is it fails to connect with the GPS at times, a power off/on usually fixes this. The look is something like a Tesla map which is top notch. So nice to have this, a happy user for the last 7-8 years!

Disappointing. I’m so disappointed in this app. I was looking for a good app for routing while driving an RV to make sure the roads were passable. This app was expensive for the RV subscription and quite honestly I will probably delete it in favor of Waze or just back to google. It beeps loudly and incessantly for often no reason. It often showed me off road when I was clearly on the road. When I needed it most at an intersection where I could choose several paths it froze completely and came back too late with the path I had chosen against and wanted me to back track to get there. It refused to show me the original path I had planned on. At that point I gave up and pulled out waze. I still can’t believe I wasted $30 on an app I don’t trust and probably won’t use again. Oh and beyond all that, the interface is incredibly non intuitive and hard to program a trip to begin with. Total waste of money.

A once good app no more. I’ve used this app for around 10 years, always accurate, I swore by it and promoted it to others even purchasing the payed app. In 2019 I was traveling in North and south Carolina and it had a few glitches. I upgraded it to the RV version thinking it would correct the issue but it did not, not only is it wildly inaccurate it had me leaving the interstate to make a u turn and then right back on it for no reason at all. The “rv routing” had me on one lane roads in the middle of nowhere again taking me down a road to make a u turn for no reason and then right back on the road I was already on. I looked at Apple Maps and the routing copilot took me on was almost 100 miles out of the way by the time I had to back track and go the correct rout. I really liked copilot and hate that is changed to a mostly useless app. And yelp for a search engine is useless as well. I have to find what I’m looking for on google and then add the address. I am very disappointed

password management. password management is terrible. It’s not the first time this is been difficult. specifically I have three devices two iPads and one iPhone. The iPhone and the iPad will logon automatically with my thumbprint. The iPad Pro 11 inch will not allow me to logon with the existing password nor will it allow me to change the password not that I want to. The password that is being used for both the devices that currently work are not consistent with theRequirements that your website currently states four characters required to make it a valid password. I hope you can shed some light on this,Oh and by the way I’m trying to submit this and it wants me to find a nickname that will work for me and of course all I get back as iMessages is that that nickname was taken so I got to sit here and sort for nicknames just so I can get help from you people

Tested it for 3500 miles. I juste came back from a trip I’ve made from Central Florida to Fort Sill in Oklahoma. I ised Co-Pilot for this trip and overall it behaved amazing. I LOVED the feature were you can find the next Rest Are ON YOUR ROUTE as we used them often. But if you don’t use rest areas you also have RV Parks and camping areas among a ton of other POI. In regards to what other people mentioned about taking you to places were you get stuck this is something EVERY GPS software does, is just a matter of common sense. I really hope the developers of Co-Pilot have the chance to keep developing this software in the future. Anothe feature I LOVED was thw fact that it tells you the amount of traffic in the upcoming 45 miles so you are ready before hand when that comes. Thank you developers! Keep up the amazong work you guys do!

Inaccurate and dangerous to use!. We bought this for a road trip up the east coast since they tend to have low bridges and we were pulling a 44’ toy hauler. Despite knowing the length and height of our rv we were constantly taken off roads and put into situations that were very stressful and hard to navigate. We were even taken off of the toll parkway and then taken right back on requiring us to pay the $40 toll TWICE! I was navigated you take car only roads, off and back on the same roads multiple times, ridiculous! This app was extremely dangerous due to it not being able to go on our CarPlay. I often felt like I was blindly driving since it wasn’t safe to look down at this app. I ended up putting google on the car so I had some sort of direction. I’m super disappointed in this app. It did warn us of low bridges, otherwise it just added tons of unnecessary stress and cost us money!

Needs an update and soon. I love this app very much because I travel in an RV so I trust it’s not going to take me through a low overpass but it needs an update and real soon because I haven’t been able to use since last iPhone update. It just keeps crashing whenever I try to enter a destination. It wasn’t a cheap app either so it’s not fair that I haven’t been able to use it on my last two recent trips. I still give it four stars because when it works, it works! Update it please! UPDATE: Copilot finally contacted me and gave me clear and easy instructions to delete and reinstall the app and now it’s working like a charm again. Good customer service even though it’s a little slow.

Awesome APP. We haven’t used it lately as we haven’t been able to travel with our RV but the app is great. On a trip back from Florida a couple of years ago we were warned of a problem ahead on the freeway, did we want to try a different route. We did and with our 38 foot travel trailer 11 feet 8 inches high we were routed through an under water tunnel in Alabama that was 12 feet high. Scary but we made it and on the other side in the middle of a downtown area but followed the directions and it took us to the park we were staying at that night.

No Appleplay. Excellent GPS but I’m forced to use other GPSs as Copilot does not work with apple play All other good GPS do

Stuck. My friend and I have the same problem The apps is stop giving certain street names and asked us to choose cross street despite it previously had given us the name of address

BECOME WORSE AFTER THE LATEST UPDATE. unable to load street numbers in most of the areas in south Australia.. AFTER THE LAST UPDATE

Copilot. My iPhone can’t load your app so not really impressed

Mia. Great aid for getting around! Thanks!

Works amazing but.. ( CarPlay feature ). Very very disappointed to hear that CoPilot will not make Carplay CoPilot navigation. Very very sad! Sorry I will not renew my subscription. Edit review 2: still waiting for any word are you guys gonna support CarPlay?

Caravan option not available in AU. Why is this allowed to be advertised with a caravan mode in the AU store when this feature is not available in Australia? This is clearly misleading and should be prohibited.

No CarPlay. If there is no CarPlay then it’s useless in my vehicle. Hopefully an update is on its way.

Life saver. I was away in the unfamiliar city and the time was about 11 pm and it was raining. I believe in Murphy’s Law guess what My car navigation was not picking up my location may be because of thick clouds still I turned the engine off and on few times thinking it will reboot the system but no chance. Then I realised i have my phone autopilot turned it on and it picked up the signal and so i was on the way to Sydney.

App is unstable and hang. After installed app, map is not stable, useless app

Not as good as previous edition!. A great App overall. I don’t have a built in GPS in my car and Copilot does the job. Unfortunately with iOS17 I can’t listen to my music while using the app as the music sound volume goes lower and higher all the time. Please fix this ASAP.

Excellent buy it. I love it

Tunnel Boring. Just tried to plan a trip to olympic park mri in melbourne. It took me to the tunnel under the practice and apparently expected me to park in the tunnel and bore my way out. App is being deleted as we speak.

Useless after recent updated. Useless and waste of money. Not recommend please do not download this app. Unable to load street numbers in most of the Sydney areas now. Example hall st, wellington st, simpson st, francis st, edward st, glenayr ave, sandridge st, gould st and etc in Bondi Beach. Other areas in sydney are also affected as well. Please fix this developer this app.

Excellent satnav. Used the trial version to go to Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory which is a place that a lot of people don’t like driving around due to getting lost frequently. The speed sign notification on the app was precision perfect-as soon as I was entering a different speed area the app changed as soon as I was at the sign. It is so street accurate and camera aware - it even lets you know how fast you are going compared against the speed camera limit. The extras like ETA and kilometres remaining, petrol stops are handy too. It has shopping centres, car dealers and loads of other destinations in the data base. I purchased an air vent mount whilst in Canberra and am going to purchase the app when the trial runs out. All up, it’s less than half the price of the cheapest dedicated satnav, but it’s superior.

Terrible setup process. You download the app, open it up, create an account, then you have to go through and pick your region, however on the trial version the only regions available are Europe, and North America, and even after purchasing a subscription you can’t change your region, so if your outside those two regions like Australasia for example, this app is useless! I’ve contacted support, and even they haven’t been able to give me an answer on how to get around that. Their support is pathetic! Do not buy!

Can’t renew subscription. I got Apple email says my subscription for this app just processed, I got the invoice. But the app still says my premium features has ended? If you have to wait the money transfer, why couldn’t you just inform me few days earlier so I can pay prior. I couldn’t use it now for my work.

Not for Australia. Maybe they need to advise what countries this is for..... waste of time

Fix issues for Australia. Hi I have downloaded the app but its forcing to use one of the two option europe or north america is this app not for Australia routes ? If not fine. If yes why there is no option to select australia ? And it’s mention once i select 1 of the 2 options which is not for me i can’t change it back at all. Any truckies from Australia have suggestions ?

won't start error downloading maps. iPhone 11pro latest ios, refuses to download maps on startup, error='error starting map download' (header_failure) I have an account , the app accepts my login and password says ok goes to map download and throws above error message, have deleted app, restarted iPhone 3 times. used to work fine on my iPhone 6+ help please

Doesn’t work for Australia. Very disappointed as no service in Australia by copilot..

Update terrible. New copilot terrible, I have used daily for about 3 years, recent update saw a lot of well established addresses unable to be found. Streets can be found but not street numbers, the system will not let you add an address by searching, you need to find it manually by looking at the map, meaning you have to find the address another way. Additionally live traffic updates have become poor and seem to be a waste of money

Need to fix. This app is great until last update. I use this very often but last update kills the app. Please fix the issue, its not working in Australia properly.

Cancel. Why do you make it so impossibly hard to cancel a trip? The only way to stop is to go into IPhone settings and turn off the GPS chip. Really guys, does it have to be so hard? How about a simple cancel? I still have NO idea how to cancel once it gets going.

Shonky Trimble. I’ve used this app since 2012 when I purchased Australian maps. Since the Trimble branding I was somehow switched to Truck profile. I somehow agreed to a trial- because the message is Trial is ended and I must Re subscribe. I say no. App won’t let me do anything anymore- says that is premium feature. My Aus map even downloaded as restore of my purchase/ licence. Then disappeared

Steve j. A beautiful and well thought out app. Fully featured and comprehensive.... everything a navigation app should be. A pleasure to use. Well done to the developers. Cheers, steve..... (Further to the above: the more I use this app the more I appreciate the thought and expertise behind all the functions. With the recent demise of my other favorite app, NAVIGON, I did not think I would find another of it’s caliber, but I was wrong. Copilot is an absolute delight to use, once you understand all its functions and capabilities, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Fantastic, and thanks for creating it! 6 stars!

Maps. Very disappointed to see there are no maps for Australia

No caravan map for Australia. Couldn’t find a map for Australia for caravans

Great but..Planning a trip is the weak point. Great app and really useful but I find the planning of a trip not so easy on this app compared to what’s otherwise available say google maps. The new version has improved trip planning but it needs additional refinements. Get the spelling a little wrong and the app struggles... google spelling option would be great.

Excellent. It is excellent I recommend this app Everything is perfect work Thanks copilot

Lack of Australian version. So how about maps for Australia?! I can’t believe that in today’s global society, I was unable to download any map for my own country - instead being limited to only Europe and America.

Works Great. Excellent app.

please fix. using the planning side of the all dosnt work now it doesn’t load street numbers for certain addresses

Great App. I have been using this app for over 10 years. It is awesome. Have used internationally and it switches between maps easily.

Great. I have used Co Pilot in Australia as well as on trips to the U.K., France and Italy. It has been awesome. I particularly like the walking directions and the fact that the maps are on your phone, so no international data charges

Question. There saying that there using it in Australia but you are only showing Europe and American/Canada maps 🤔🥺 so what the go bud Regards Confused 🤯

Great App. Everything we’ve needed and wanted in a nav app

Still no CarPlay support. How is it 2022 and this app still does not support CarPlay? Many other GPS apps do by now.

Great Navigation App. Been using this app for years. Best app ever, takes you right to the destination with lots of fine tuning options to suit your needs.

Love the app, 10 months without revision?. Hi, Love using the app, would really like to see a full screen update for iPhone X native screen resolutions/dimensions. Keep up the good work.

Only US and Europe maps. Researching for a bus navigation app that specifically works in Australia and CoPilot sponsored ads are at the top every search result. So download the app and sign up, only for it to say choose between North America or Europe maps only 🙄

Useless. After downloading the app you have to create an account, provide email address, create password, then download maps. At this point you discover it is only for Europe and North America! You could have told me that at the start!

Australian maps. Just purchased this app which indicates world wide maps but am only given options of US and Europe. Am I missing something or does this not apply to Oz and if not how can I get a refund please.

Still no import. There is still no way to import gpx files into this app This has been requested for many years A simple use of the iOS “ open in” would probably achieve this but for some reason they just won’t implement it Makes this app virtually useless for my use case Why do they just ignore such a simple thing

Hc. Forgot to mention Doesn’t have Australia maps

Used to be a good app. I have used this app for quite a while and found it to be very good as I didn’t need an internet connection for it to work. Now I have to log in every time I use it and if I don’t have a internet connection it doesn’t work. Really not happy that I just paid another 12 months subs before I found this out

Useless in Australia. I just downloaded the app and it only gives me the choice of Europe or North America.

Crashed. While I was driving in the middle of Melbourne CBD, its crashed. I am using on my iPhoneX. Gave me pretty hard times. Speed limit is still out-dated in some places. Wish they update it very soon!!

Seriously Lacking. A Developer reply says CarPlay is on the agenda but can offer no timeframe for release. Difficult to understand why it’s not top of the list of things to do and why it’s so hard, when so many other providers offer it. Cancelled my subscription today. Will re-subscribe when CarPlay is offered

Yelp is useless. This app used to be really good but the choice of Yelp as the online search engine (and I use that term loosely in Yelp’s case) is a complete waste of time as it only finds things that obviously pay Yelp to be on there. Even if you narrow the search to a town/suburb it just brings up hundreds of other cafes/hotels for example that you aren’t interested in, that aren’t even anywhere near the suburb you enter. Unless you know the specific address (try looking for a lookout) the search function is useless. Presumably CoPilot get paid every time someone uses their search facility. Please go back to Google or another search engine that actually has a lot of content.

Wrong directions. When in Honolulu I was looking for directions to Aloha Stadium. It directed me in the middle of nowhere in a mountainous area and valleys. There a couple of other locations with similar result. I had to switch off and use Google maps instead. Very disappointed and misleading. Otherwise good app.

Back to be great again. I've been using this app for at least 7 years now and drove with it all across North America many times. It's my #1 in navigation. Previous update wasn't very nice and now it's the old good Copilot again with a few new features. The app is very responsive now. Thanks a lot. After it became by subscription, I stopped using it. Removed and will never come to it again. It is not enough that PC Miler robes drivers of their miles, now I’d need to pay for it on top? Thanks, but never!

Recommended this app to others for years. I have used this app since it first came out. It works great without cellular. I have a cellular chip in my iPad and turn it off in OS settings and in this app. Finds the location accurately and is easy to use. Found the US map in State of Washington more up to date than in Canada. I’m over 70 years old and it was easy to use and worth upgrading from the free version.

Wojart. I have been using it for many years. Like it better then google and Apple maps. Saved me several times in United States. Must have application for all situations when you might loose internet

Excellent App. I have been using this app since last more than five year. Never give me trouble. After the last update only calculated time is at least more than two hours difference than the actual time. Otherwise every thing running so smoothly.

Like it but their map supplier 😕. I like the interface & direction are not bad But the map provider HERE is not that good!!

Canadian App. You can’t use the app outside of Canada all maps are CANADA or USA no option for Europe maps downloading the app. Waste my time!

Great for those road trips. Have used the app on several long family north America road adventures and it’s never failed us. Wish it supported CarPlay. You just need to make sure you have updated the maps the night before as they can be large to download on phone data vs home wifi.

Still a go to. Have been with CoPilot for years. Like every GPS, there are pros and cons. Still my fav when travelling by RV.

CarPlay. Please add CarPlay

Years of use from North America & Europe. Been using for many years now, very good app. Only one time in Montana’s roadway a little bump. Been to Europe many times in Spain roadways and tolls , very good!

Bad incentive to purchase. I used Copilot for years for my delivery route thanks to its offline maps and multi-stop optimization abilities. But it was littered with so many bugs and errors that I waited and waited for a fix update before committing to purchase. Now, they have taken a big step backwards and made their faulty product unusable without a subscription purchase. Very bad decision making. Go with an alternate app.

Way too expensive. Are they smoking crack?? Are they crazy charging so much? I used it when it was free but refuse to pay their ridiculously high price. I’ll use my Garmin.

Unreliable. First day I used this app under free grace period, it sent me straight into two low bridges ! Yes, I picked the right vehicle in the configuration page before you think you figured it out. I will definitely not buy!

Ne parle. Il n’y a plus d’annonce vocale sur mon iPod touch

Disappointed. App is advertised as a tool for pro’s I find ghat compared to the truck driver gps offered by garmin, and Rand , and pc miler, this Copilot app is VERY basic. Missing Many features which an App for truckers should have. Eg: where you’ll be in 11 or14 hrs Rest areas scales along whole current route. Show bridges and tunnels along whole current route Etc etc.

Free version doesn’t even give directions. What’s the point in having a free version when a user (potential customer) can’t even get directions?

Doesn’t pick locations. I just got this app. The app doesn’t pick up the address I’m going to. It picks up the nearby town but not this location. Not sure I can rely on this one. How do I cancel my subscription?

Demande de payer mon renouvellement. En date du 6 fev Pourtant mon renouvellement est dû pour le 6 mars 2023, Impossible d’y avoir accès et il me reste 1 mois d’abonnement déjà payé ?????

From one of the better to skip over . .. Had free version. Purchased upgrade version. Then didnt use it so much. Back into it of late and nothing I paid for previously is included any longer. Hell, it tells me that the 'search' function is a premium feature and would I like to subscribe. Goodbye.

Please add. No low bridge No sunset or sunrise

Not a good app. As first time trailer owners we were hopeful that this app would never guide us into hairpin turns, or single lane highways that didn’t have a shoulder. No such luck. We also have gotten diverted off of major highways for seemingly no reason. Diverted into heavy traffic or single lane roadways. On top of that, the maps won’t download onto any of our devices. When they complete a red X appears and we cannot get our map.

Don’t get fouled. Send me 40% in street where truck doesn’t belong there. Struggle to point the right adresse so always double check with google maps or apple maps. Ask me to do u turn in a 2 lane road with a 53’ trailler. it’s cheep for a beginning device. Save money and buy something suitable for truck drivers.

Awesome App for professional drivers!. I’ve been using the CoPilot Truck app for several years and have never had a serious issue with it. Occasionally the maps not quite up to snuff in very rural areas, but that’s not a big deal to me. The only people who will ever have a problem with this app are those who put their full faith and trust in technology. Like any other GPS it’s not 100% perfect but it’s a valuable tool for me. It was well worth the money I paid for it and I’m very happy with it.

Very poor user experience. We previously used a competing app but as this one was very well referenced so we decided to give it a try. The User Interface ranges from confusing to unusable. No wonder marketing got involved! Uninstalling it was a relief.

Works great. Have been using it for years in Europe and North America both on iPad and iPhone, works great!

Issues with the last update. After updating to the most recent app while on iPhone 6s iOS 13.4, there is no way to see the render of the map or to use navigation in any way. Please fix this issue as soon as possible. A huge benefit would be to ise Copilot on Apple Car Play. Thank you for your hard work and for reading this message (I have sent it to the app support too).

Support???. Trying to get European maps as stated on their website. It doesn’t work. Trying to log into my account on their website. Again it doesn’t work. There’s no support contact number. Routing is ok like any other navigation provider. The only thing I really like is how fast it calculates and optimizes routes. But $159.99/year is a steep cost especially with no support.

Good app but should be added to CarPlay. All good but it would be nice to have integration in CarPlay.

Truck routes. How in the world are you supposed to buy the truck version? When I click on the truck app it opens up CopPilot and nothing happens. I really need this but I'm going in circles here....

PROBLEM. I keep changing my password because it says incorrect but it still says incorrect right after changing it I’m paying for the app and have no access at all!

Très bien. Sans internet. Ne partez pas sans co-pilot. Essentiel.. Simply the Best.Super

Very disappointed long time user. I wrote a review in June 2019 and actually received a response below my review. Now I can’t find my review. For some reason Co Pilot removed the ability to block highways. When I contacted them through their Support, I was told to simply use waypoints. So here’s an exercise for Co Pilot to test their own App by planning a trip avoiding highways by using waypoints. The route is In Ontario Canada. Starting point is - 130 Simcoe Street, Tillsonburg Ontario Destination is - 925 Woodlawn 925 Woodlawn Road West, Guelph Ontario.

Horrible customer service.. Right now the app will only allow for a rv height of 13 feet, my trailer is 13 foot 4 inches. Bought the app last year and they said it would be fixed on next update and a year later same problem. Trying to get my money back is like pulling teeth

Can not find some addresses in Niagara Falls and London Ontario on Copilot app!. Some old addresses not showing on Copilot app such as in Niagara Falls and London Ontario Canada! Please fix it soon otherwise I will stop using it. Thanks Kindly!

Offline maps, good. Offline maps works good. I have no data plan with this phone and it direct me ok.

Piece of crap. Do not waste your money on purchasing this app for off line use this app does not work off line nor for not for navigation no voice, not for traffic, this app sucks

Need option for MultiScreen/ Split View on ipad. I believe this app has no update, even though if they do update its not huge update 1.Maps Lacks Split view 2. Need Interface where more info about trip is need, current interface only two info available Like ETT, ETA , miles etc 3. Interface is not driver friendly like RandmcNallly or Garmin Current interface is unnecessary POI where even driver don’t want to go At last i want say if u cant give that us that interface atleast give us split view option so that we can run other gps side by side

No CarPlay. Been using this program for a few years. It was my favourite until I had a stereo installed that works with CarPlay. Unfortunately, Copilot does not! It’s GPS app! Why no CarPlay functionality?

Disappointing. I have been using the free version of this app for 6 years. Had over 300 saved addresses across Canada and the US including Hawaii. Also has the option of changing profiles for my own car and RV. After recommending this app to anyone who listen I am left with a map that I can scroll through and change the colours (oh wow does it come with crayons too?) All my saved information is gone, can not search an address or even a category such as gas stations. You don’t pay, you get an app that is basically an empty paper map.

4200km trek across the US without a wrong turn.. We used this app to navigate from Southern Ontario to BC, traveling through the US. Gas, Rest Stops, Hotels, Food.. all available on this app as well. We found this tool extremely reliable for our trip & no data required. Highly recommend this app.

cartes. a quand les cartes complètes de l’ameriques central

Does not show the streets of the Caribbean countries!. One of the problems is that it does not show the streets of the Caribbean countries! In Europe it was % 80 correct and in North America there are many streets that it cannot find... I give it 3 stars because of the gps app

Online search. When you have access to the Internet on Wi-Fi, I like the online search feature. You enter the name of a company and select it from the search results. it becomes your Destiination.

Great app for setting your own route. I love the multiple way point feature. I paid the one time fee for 3D view. Nocked it down to 4 stars only because active traffic has a monthly fee.

Great App. A great app and love it. Recommend to all and good job guys

great app.. i'm a professional truck driver and copilot gps is simply awesome. using it for two months after trying a lot of apps and devices. its great.

I like the app but 2 things…. 1:) Could you add the speed limit to the map and also add how fast I’m going? Other apps offer this and it sure would be nice if you could offer this. 2:) Not sure it takes you the best route. I’m fairly certain it took me the long way to a destination I’m familiar with but also it doesn’t seem to factor in road work apparently.

Frustrating. I am a CDL driver. I decided to test this application. I have had a major issue with it directing me to take an exit. I get off at the exit only to re enter into the same road I was just on. This application has cost me time I can not depend on it. It allowed me to configure my route with the possible routes. I will set it how I want to go and then start navigation. Well during the trip at some point it will change corse to what ever it sees’ fit. I almost paid for this, I’m glad I didn’t. It does have features that I like. Just the couple of issues I have had make it not worth my money.

Ha!!!. Let’s see... I tested this app for my 18 wheeler and my personal car. Both versions had several things wrong. Mostly speeds were wrong. With my personal car version? It would always try to make me enter truck parking areas and exit interstates. Only to tell me to immediately get back onto the interstates. “How stupid can a developer be?!?”, I thought to myself. Well, with the way this app functions? The answer is... A developer can be just as stupid as the amount of money he/she may try to steal from people, for a horrible app. Just like this one. Do not waste your money on this app.

Longtime Copilot user - mostly good, but a few deficiencies. Originally bought Copilot 10 years ago for my iPhone 3G. Regular updates of have been decent, but I have 4 complaints (minus 1/2 star for each) 1) The voice doesn’t speak everything you would like to know which is super annoying and forces your to look at the screen, which is fine if you are a passenger, but not so if you are driving. Instead of saying, “In two miles, exit right on 247 B” like it should, it will only say “In two miles, exit right.” 2) While having an active destination being routed, you cannot zoom out, and have bird’s eye view of your route. I tried in both 2D and 3D views and neither would function. 3) No Apple Watch integration... would love to be tapped on my wrist when my turn approaches 4) no CarPlay integration

Great app...but... We have been using this app for about 7 months (we are full timers that travel a lot) and have found it to be very reliable. However, we just sold our RV and purchased a new one. The new RV is 6” taller but the app is not allowing me to put in 13’ 5”. This makes us hesitant to use it because we would never want to get into an unsafe situation. I put a message into the developer so I’m hoping to get his taken care of quickly!

Not for RV even though it has RV profile. I was told this app can be used for RV’s and has an RV profile where you tell it the size of your RV. You can also tell it what type of roads to avoid. I set up my RV profile, told the app to avoid local roads if possible, and use freeways and divided highways as much as possible. Luckily we kind of knew the area, because the app tried to take us through the middle of Brooksville (a small town in FL)on 98 instead of the 98 truck route around Brooksville. Had we followed the app we would not have cleared a train overpass in the middle of town. I have also read the reviews for Co-Pilot RV and they have the same issues. Unfortunately I paid for the in app purchases before I knew how bad it was.

For me reliable. Overall I use this for my daily driving in conjunction with another GPS. My only problem it gives me is it puts off an exit and back on the same road, which is frustrating and a time waster. As far as hazmat routing and general routes I like it, I tend to use multiple stop feature for an entire trip. A big key is maps are downloaded to device instead of online. I would recommend this service, I wish the ETA’s were a little more accurate....

Good. Room for improvement.. I've been using it for a while now since my Magellan died. I love the multiple stops since having a large route with multiple stops and being able to optimize them is essential for me. It's not always accurate on where those stops are exactly like other GPS's, so I tend to drive past my stop which is an issue in cities. It fails to know one way streets, dead ends and no left turns. Annoying but the quick re-routing makes it only a little annoying. Adding the stops is quick and easy. Saving multiple favorites is also an option. Well worth the $10. ** You need to add Apple Car Play. **

Used to be great!. Purchased this app years ago and recommended it to all my friends. Gave me access to a map with no internet that I could search and pick routes etc. I wasn’t looking for GPS directions. Just the ability to look-up routes in different States or different cities etc. and it served that purpose well. Then it changed to a subscription service and took away all the things I had as a Basic service that left me with a map..... period! Can’t search anything or do anything except look at a map without paying extra. Taking away features that customers purchased and forcing them to pay again is a sign of an untrustworthy company. Don’t expect to see me purchasing any more of your apps.

Somewhat Disappointing. Just downloaded this app, paid my annual fee, and started using. I guess I was expecting WAZE like performance but with the ability to enter my vehicle type and size for avoiding obstacles. What I got instead was Garmin like rote planning (not terribly intuitive) with the ability to enter vehicle info. My biggest gripe so far, it can’t find locations I want to go to. My motorhome uses diesel fuel, and I’m part of a purchase program through Love’s Travel Stops. Co-Pilot cannot find a single Love’s Travel Stop. I have to lookup the address, then enter it directly. Even then it found the wrong location. Eventually I discovered how to pick the waypoint on the map and enter it as a stop. In summary, I find this tool to be precarious at best. It is riddled with 2001 technology and gps mapping concepts. As I use and grow with it, I will come back and update this review, but for now. . . I’m unimpressed with it, and less than thrilled.

Not a complete solution. I fully expected to see a category for “Truck Stops” to search for. The app allows me to enter the dimensions and weight of my vehicle which clearly indicates that it’s a big rig and not suitable for “gas stations”, but I order to find truck stops, I have to search by name. This app has had me so mad due to poor routing for my vehicle size, I’ve nearly thrown my iPad out the window! If I had a heart condition, I surely would have a heart attack by now. I truly have never been so mad as I’ve been as a result of learning to use this app and I’m a software developer by trade. This software is promising, but it lacks very important features that you would expect to find in a specialty app like this and in this price range. I still use it, but I do all my trip planning ahead of time and I consult two other apps to validate what this one recommends. If I find a replacement, I’ll happily delete this one!

Good trucking GPS. It’s better than Rand McNally that’s for sure Gets me where I need to go and has regular updates. Plus I don’t need to plug it into the computer. Sometimes you need to adjust your rout because it will try to take you the long way (it will take you up a major interstate when the backroads are shorter) but I thinks that’s any truck gps you get. Always double check your destination with google maps to ensure it’s taking you to the right place. It will get you to the correct street but not necessarily the dock. (Hence the 4 star review) You can drag and drop your destination pin once you have your rout/ address plugged in and you can place multiple pins if your load requires more than one stop. Would definitely recommend over stand alone units. Make sure you have your phone charger plugged in.

Rip Off. What a rip off. June 16, 2018 I purchased CoPilot through the Apple App Store, in January 2019 I’m informed that the version I purchased was being retired! And, to login or go to the App Store to obtain the replacement App. I was unsuccessful when attempting to login and submitted my email to have my password reset, that was three days ago, still waiting. Since I’m leaving with my RV, & couldn’t wait any longer, I went to the App Store to obtain the replacement app (CoPilot GPS). I downloaded the app, no charge along with the North America Maps. After setting up the App for the particulars for my RV I’m informed that I have a 14 day trial period before having to pay for the App. Again what a rip off - I cannot recommend this app.

Latest version. Used this for years - no problems. After update, the app is very difficult to use. It is very slow. NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO SEARCH FOR PLACES NEAR A DESTINATION. Three steps backwards from the previous version. I wish I never upgraded. I also upgraded to to paid version on one iPad. Unlike other apps, it tells me I need the paid version on the second iPad when I want to save a trip. At this point I think -1 star would be generous.c Now I see RV profile has been removed. Man are they getting greedy. I originally bought this for RV use. I am not giving them any more money. Between two gps's and a map I will find my way. Update: Now to get RV navigation I have to pay a yearly subscription. I definitely feel ripped off. I originally purchase this for RV. Now I have to pay yearly? Fat chance! I wish I could give this a -5 stars. I don't subscribe to software. I buy it outright or forget it. March. Still cannot find places en route. 2020 - still subscription. I am done. I bought a truck GPS.

RV Driving. The majority of the time this app works really well. There have been a few times where it’ll say take a left, but when you look at the screen it has you taking a right. When this happened the screen was correct. Not the verbal directions. There is a one-way street in my neighborhood, and the app always has me going down the one-way street in the wrong direction.

Best GPS app on the iPhone. I have been using this app since the iPhone 4, it’s absolutely amazing! There was a hiccup in the licensing system that locked me out of the application for a while, then my support ticket was accidentally marked as spam by their system, which caused me to write a scathing 1 star review; their support team contacted me by phone today and resolved all the issues and gave a 1 year extension on the Active Traffic in compensation for the time I had lost while experiencing the error.

Where are we going!. Out in your RV and ready for a frustrating trip. Do you unintentionally want to explore on roads too small for a horse and buggy? The excitement of been directed up a road with a bridge you cannot go through or under? Roads so narrow you cannot turn off them or go back? THIS IS THE APP FOR YOU! Despite having it set for a total length of 60 feet, width of 8’5” and height of 11’6” this app has lead us into dangerous situations (above) each of the three times we have used it. It is disgraceful that they get your money and you get stuck, do not buy this map, any other map is better.

Junk. Your app is no good. Pulling my 5th wheel app sent me on a private road that didn't even go through. I had to back onto the state road on a blind curve a the crest of a hill not fun. Then sent me down a terrible narrow curvy road. The guy at the campground said "oh you never want to go down those roads. Thanks for for a terrible days drive. Today it tried to send me down a single lane road. I'm smart enough not to trust it. It told me that the road I chose was closed it was not. I'm not going use it anymore. Please refund me for the purchase. Pic one is the route down the narrow road the two state highways were what I chose. Pic two is the route down a narrow road over a bridge with very steep approach. I WANT A REFUND..

How Times Have Changed. CoPilot used to be my default nav app. Due to nothing but headaches with activations on new phones, I moved to Apple Maps. While Apple Maps keeps improving, CoPilot seems to have gotten worst. I'm trying to get ready for a multi stop 2 week trip through Italy. I've been at it for 4 hours now and have managed to enter a grand total of 3 addresses. On one occasion it could not locate the street but had the hotel as a poi. BUT, it can't navigate to a POI. I haven't paid anything for the app. Seems first map comes free. But, it's either crippled intentionally (they could say so). Or the app is very weak. Again, 4 hours to enter 3 addresses so far. I'm not paying for this without any idea of what I get. Especially since I already paid for all of Europe but can't get it activated. It used to access Contacts but that option no longer appears in the menu list. Manually is a horrible experience. Going back to Apple Maps. Will buy a data package at the airport.

better than most. after using this app for more than 5 years for a class A RV up and down the astcoast and as far west as the Mississippi I am fairly confident about its routing- the one thing it needs to do corectly, it does: GPS routing. my feedback to the developers would be to include eta ( time and milage ) to next stop or waypoint while planning a trip ie see how far it is to a reststop/fuelstop/lunchstop.

Not thrilled with this GPS. Where do I begin? Well, this app is like most in the app store, basically a waste of time. I drive big rigs and this product has proven to be useless. I know it will give you three different routing options however, neither is a shorter mileage or time option this is not good for a driver who is on a deadline. The graphics are just mediocre and could be better and the maps themselves are not up to date. This app needs a lot of improvements. It's certainly not worth what they want for a subscription. The 14-day trial is nice I didn't make it past using it for three days before I deleted the app.

Good GPS. Im a long term owner of copilot, going back to a Palm Treo, so i might be a bit biased, but I like copilot. I used google maps when it was the defacto standard for accurate routing, switched to apple maps when they got better, but I keep a copy of copilot just in case. Its the gps for a bugout bag, if you will. Worldwide downloadable maps are available. Ive used it in Canada and was fine, no trouble. Keep up the good work.

Love it, except no CarPlay. I’ve used this app on my iPhone for years all over the Left Coast USA. Then I got a new rig and nobody makes an acceptable dash mount for that vehicle. I have since switched to a different nav app that starts with an S because it has CarPlay. The authors of that app are good programmers but don’t drive for a living so have made some sexy-but-dumb GUI decisions. That GUI will cause an accident. CoPilot allows the driver to set preferred view and doesn’t override it 5 seconds later. I desperately want my CoPilot back, but it needs CarPlay to be a contender.

Good app for RV routing. I’ve been using this app for a couple of years and for the most part it hasn’t let me down. Like all GPS apps, you should have a backup and an Over the Road trucker map to check the route that you’re going to take. I love being able to tell the app the road types I want to take. I’ve got a 40’ 5th wheel and being routed through an area with tight roads would be terrible. I tend to like to stick to bigger roads for less stress. Only issue I’ve found so far is that the max height is 13’ and my RV is 13’ 6”. Hopefully that will get corrected. Otherwise the app is solid. Again, make sure you have an over the road map available and check your route prior to heading out.

Not for big RVs. I purchased this app specifically because it is supposed to be designed for RV use. First attempt to use it was to go to a campground in N Calif. The app didn’t have the campground in its database although both Google and Apple navigation had the campground on their database. Second use worked ok it it was to an RV park in a city. Third time it guided me down a narrow winding dirt road that was barely passable in our 30 foot RV when a perfectly good paved route was available ( same route as Google maps). This was exactly the sort of situation I had hoped this app would avoid. It appears that it is no improvement over Google maps. Also I find the interface to be not terribly intuitive. Wish someone would come up with an app that is truly designed for RVs

Nice app to have around. Inexpensive gps app that’s nice to have. I’ve encounter situation where cellular reception didn’t work and had to rely on copilot to find where I’m going. Or when you don’t have unlimited cellular data and had to do long distance driving, so it’s nice to have an app with the maps downloaded locally. Recently took a trip to LA to visit friend, who lives in a newly built community within 1 year. Unfortunate the copilot map does not have the updates so could set an destination address.

When not driving. With its built-in maps, copilot is useful when traveling by train or bus to see where you are. And how far you have to go. Find your current location by “save location for reporting” then go to map feedback to find the name of the town. Then enter that town name (and center of town) to display it in an expandable map. [suggestion: put all that in a single button]

Needs some work. I like the idea of Putting in the height of your vehicle. I drive Limousine’s for a living and I am in multiple vehicles every day. But the app is not that user-friendly or I am just new to it. I’m debating whether to pay $29 a year for the RV GPS. Strictly for the fact of height requirements of bridges. This is not an option with other mapping apps even the big guys, nothing worse when you’re driving a motorcoach and it routes you down a street where the bridge is too small or low and you have to turn around or something else happens that is not so favorable.

App only loads when it wants to. The app works great when it decides to work. Most of the time it doesn’t do anything when you open it. The copilot logo comes up, and that’s all. It doesn’t make it to the navigation screen most of the time. When it works I have to keep the app open in order to use it. If I accidentally close it and try to reopen it right away, I’m out of luck. Like any other app, if I leave it open in the background and go any length of time without using it actively, it reloads itself. Unlike every other app I use, it doesn’t actually reload when it does this. Please fix this.

Ehh.. Lots of room for improvement: map only zooms out so much and you can’t really see what’s up ahead of you, gps will continually try to reroute you the same way it was taking you even if there is a faster way found by another source. Map does give a few options for routes but doesn’t let you customize if you want to avoid an area or take a certain route, when you select avoid it will circle you around the avoided area first and then bring you right back to where you were trying to avoid. Would be nice if it calculated toll cost like Rand McNally, could be a lot simpler and easier to find points of interest (truck stops, rest areS etc)

Latest update breaks RV functions, deletes paid features. This company has lost my trust. I was happy to pay for a premium subscription to this app which was admittedly cheaper than it could’ve been, but on the latest update they deleted critical features, apparently moving them to a MUCH more expensive optional subscription. And I found out the hard way when the app tried to take me under a low underpass that the prior version would’ve avoided. I’m very upset that my prior purchase is rendered worthless. If they did that once before, why should I trust them again? Beware that if you pay for an annual subscription this company, you may not get what you pay for.

About the same as other Nav apps. Used this for the 14 day trial after reading an RV forum that recommended it for full time RVers. Found it nice to use for the turn. I turn features and thought it great you could put in trailer dimensions etc. however it didn’t route any differently than Google Maps in most areas and it took us down some difficult to navigate side streets just like google did instead of on larger highways that would have been better for trailering. Will not spend money on it.

Average. I’ve been using this GPS app for awhile until the system failed. Had a subscription for a year. Somehow I was asked to purchase again in order to use. I canceled the subscription right away. Now I got back at it again, spend 15 minutes trying to create a new account, but non o of my three emails and different types of passwords worked. Kept saying “failed failed failed…”. I guess there are bunch of errors now that it wasn’t before. Otherwise this is not bad GPS for a truck. I was pretty happy using it.

This GPS almost has it. I got this GPS because of the clear, easy-to-read screens, and downloadable maps, because I go into the mountains quite a bit where cell service goes away. HOWEVER, as a motorcycle rider, there are a few things that are frustrating: 1. The information in the corners on the bottom should be able to be moved to the top. It’s hard to read them on a cycle, as have to tip my head down too much. 2. Larger fonts, or at least bolder fonts. Makes it easier to see at a glance. 3. An easy way to stop the current route. Other GPS apps have a big red button to do this! I can’t be fishing around in a menu to find out how to cancel the route. 4. A way to pause the current route. If I take a detour, for example go to a rest stop, I don’t want the GPS bugging me, telling me to turn around.

RV Profile removed. I bought the maps because this was one of the few RV profile (enter height for your rig) enabled apps. The website and App Store description still state it’s fir RVs put I only get car, motorcycle or bicycle profiles now? Feel like bait and switch after buying maps and features (lifetime) They responded to my review but I bought the maps because this was an rv app. The developers updated their support site rv access is now paid annually, but I didn’t buy the app because it had a subscription model, I know more and more apps are going this way but they didn’t update the App Store overview or their product website. To me this is sloppy and just signs of a lazy development company.

Car Play? No? Really!?!. App seems pretty good and new pricing structure seems to be a big improvement but no CarPlay? I have seen this requested by many other users for over 2 years now. I am an avid RV’r and have had an eye on the product. I look for many of the features it has, such as height/clearance data. I am also a tech person by trade and cannot believe that a product of this category and with this popularity has not made it work with CarPlay yet. Just lazy and for that reason I will not purchase the full product. Let me know when CarPlay is FINALLY available. I will buy it then, along with MANY others I am sure. Listen to your customer base.

Great app. I’ve been using this app for quite some time and I love it. It’s very easy to use, and just think how important it will be to have a standalone GPS that will work even if everything in the country goes down. The Internet, the power grid, everything can go down but as long as the satellites are up there working you will have GPS. If you also have a way to charge your phone. Which you should.

Not as good as it once was. I have used Copilot RV for the past 5 years. It was the best out there in terms of customization and routing of any app. I loved it! Then it changed in 2019 and the preferences became few and the routing has been less than optimal. Works great on the Expressways and most US routes, but secondary highway routing has gotten worse. While we were vacationing in the western US, This lastest version was routing us down dirt forest roads instead of the paved highways. Several times it routed us through exits on the expressway for no known reasons. I have had enough. Opened a support ticket a month ago with no response. I filed a claim today for a refund through Apple. I’m done with Trimble.

Updates seem to be making the app glitchy.. Have been using the app for years, but recent updates have been making the app worse. They’ve taken out the option to choose preferred roads and now, after the latest update, I have to boot the app a few times before it remembers I’ve paid for the month ... which alone is annoying that they can’t just use Apple’s subscription service to automatically renew. Most subscription based apps seem to be able to do this without glitches. Hopefully they can fix the problems.

Auto renew glitch. Best app for me as far as trucking goes, can customize your route down to the exact turn you want to take. I was integrated on copilot for trucking navigation, and after trying a variety of other apps, copilot is by far the best. Atm the auto renew feature isn’t working so I’m forced to use other means of navigation. As someone who plans the entire trip out before my wheels start turning the only real downside to copilot is that if you close the app and do a 34 hour reset you’ll have to re input the route you want to take. Copilot also has some out dated speed limits on a lot of back roads and major city highways. The one star is for not being able to renew my subscription.

To developers. It needs to be similar rand McNally, where it shows current mile marker next to it needs to show town and state. Being able to zoom out further and show upcoming truck stops. And rest area’s on your route . Weight stations status , down grade warnings , sharp curves . Current time zone. For delivery . Update parking status

When it works it has some nice features BUT. As I said, nice features for adding several stops but doesn’t always recognize them. Also, downloaded the US map as this is where we live. Didn’t expect to have to do it again when we returned from Canada BUT had to. Even after that, it thought we were still in Canada and didn’t recognize US destinations. Frustrating and dangerous because of the unreliability when you need directions at your fingertips.

CoPilot Great But…. This app has been used my myself for many years now and is great! Just the initial download of maps is horribly s L o Wwww… I have checked my connection and that is robust, however I started to download maps for the USA last night and this morning I have a whopping 4 Megabytes of 2.3 Gig downloaded !!! At this rate it will take a week or two for the map to fully download! Sup with dat!?

I like it buttt. Please make it so I can change 1 road instead of the whole route.. I wanted to a gray hwy that was recommended towards the end of my route, but when selected it changed my whole route.. when I just wanted to go down one of recommended roads.. if you don’t get what I’m saying open Apple Maps and make a long route and you can select different roads and not just the whole route

They stole money from me.. I bought this app a few years ago and it came with RV navigation.....the main reason I bought it. Since that time, they have done many updates and have conveniently removed the very feature I BOUGHT AND PAID for. Now, if I desire to access the feature I originally BOUGHT AND PAID for, I have to pay them a yearly subscription fee. To me, That is outright FRAUD and stealing. So, now I must move on to another app that isn’t so underhanded and dishonest. Update: Customer Service refuses to even acknowledge my issue. They are sending me many emails to pay a subscription for a product I already paid for.

Beware. I am currently on the 15 day trial period. I used the App on a route from Florida to Tennessee and it sent me about 70 mile across Florida on back roads and on a street through a subdivision. This app is not for me driving a 38’ motor home. I’ve also tried to cancel the free trial but can not find the “manage my account” location. I’ve went to my copilot gps account but there is no link to “manage my account”. There are instructions on how to cancel your paid subscription but Free trial, no. I have sent copilot gps an email requesting directions but I’ve received no response.

Traffic update lags. I am a truck driver assigned to east coast run. My route stays the same (pick up and drop offs) however my window of delivery is super tight as my day’s success or failure is determined in minutes not hours. I use Co Pilot because the routing is almost good balance of practical route vs traffic avoidance. I can work with the balance issue how my number 1 complaint with the app is that the traffic eta takes a few mins to update. Often the app will suggest a faster route but that is without the updated traffic data that is often worst then following the original traffic route.

App is fine, dev support is another story. App works fine but developer is slow to update software. Can go over a year without any updates. They never updated the software to correct app scaling on a iPhone X display, they finally fixed it after iOS12 release. iOS12 was announced in June and now has support for third party Nav apps in CarPlay. Developer didn’t make a statement until sept 27th that they are now “looking” into it while other companies already have CarPlay compatible apps out, like google maps, or going through Apple Review right now, like Sygic. Developer is lagging behind other solutions.

Dangerous errors. I expect much more from a company who’s main goal is to avoid dangerous situations for people pulling trailers, driving campervans or 18-wheelers. Even though I input my dimensions prior to setting out, it directed me through small villages instead of main roads, one of which I almost didn't get out of because it was too narrow. It took me an hour and detaching my boat trailer by hand to get out of that situation with only minor damage. Further on the app alerted me erroneously that I was over the speed limit for about an hour. The data sources and logic used in Europe steer users into trouble.
