The worst food delivery app. I use different food delivery apps all the time depending on what restaurant I want to order from - and Favor is the most incompetent, and has the absolute worst customer service app there is. When they are busy, there is absolutely no way to get in contact with customer service. You can’t cancel an order, when you haven’t heard from your runner. I’m only rating on the Apple Store now because this has happened multiple times and I’ve never had an issue with any other delivery app in this way. Uber Eats, DoorDash, Postmates, Toast - all superior. You can get in contact with customer service right away, and Favor is the complete opposite. I somehow convinced myself to use their service again and now I regret it and hate myself for it. If I ordered over two hours ago and my runner is “still on the way to pickup the order,” you shouldn’t be running an app like this. I don’t even blame it on the runner - Favor is responsible for not taking responsibility. And from the reviews of workers for Favor that I’ve read online, it looks like you don’t treat your workers well at all either. Pitiful.

I Won’t Be Using Again. Everyone I work with uses this app and about 50% of the time they’re neutral about their service. Two of my co-workers constantly have problems with the customer service, but they continue to use the app. One girl even had her order canceled with no explanation as to why. I am not so nice. I decided to try the app out since I work in a very busy and fast paced office (I have no time to get out for food on the days I don’t bring lunch). My first (and only), delivery was prepared correctly, I had all of my items and my driver paid attention to my special requests. She was amazing, friendly and super sweet when she delivered my food. From some of the reviews I have seen regarding delivery, I must have hit the jackpot. However, they don’t tell you your total up front, nor do they warn you about tips and fees and all the extra charges they tack on. I about choked when it came time to pay my bill. My $5 lunch turned into a $30 meal very quickly. I knew there would be a delivery fee, but never expected this! I took it as a lesson learned and uninstalled the app immediately afterwards. I will not be using Favor again. To the developer, my suggestion is don’t be coy with your fees and charges. Give people a chance to decide if it’s worth it beforehand. I guarantee you will do better business with people. It comes across and cheap, sly and deceitful.

NEVER under an hour and cancels orders. Pretty much it. Used it twice in Georgetown because we were stuck in a hotel because of car problems. My young daughter suggested using the app because we’re Texans and want to support our state. I’ve never had a rude delivery person in the four times I’ve used it. (Twice in Baytown as well) However, EVERY TIME it’s been well over an hour before my delivery arrived. Nearly 2 hours. And when you’re ordering sushi that can make you nervous. :/ We had to make several attempts at placing an order due to it being canceled. Also, I’ve had it switch delivery persons right in the middle of the run. Another frustrating thing is you can’t reach the driver until they are picking up the order so if you need additional items, such as extra ketchup or so on, you have no idea if they got the message or not. I’ve had the first delivery person actually answer “no problem”. I’ve had much better experiences with other apps. But, being a Texan and wanting to support Texas products I hope the negative reviews help them to improve the service.

Not worth the download. I had high hopes for this app as it was goo competition for the other mobile delivery apps so I gave them a try. After three separate orders well over a month apart each time I have had the worst possible experience. My first two orders were canceled by the app it’s self. The second order I got close to a possible delivery as I had the driver reach out (which was the closest I got to ever getting something delivered)but after an hour of waiting they forcibly cancelled my order. My most recent order I had put in expected delivery was 50-60 min during the dinner rush which I could have expected anywhere else as well; an hour later the app is still in the “run” time and changed to a time frame to status “your favor is taking longer than usual we will send you updates when it’s on the way”. I ended up canceling and changing who my order was through. Needless to say waiting two hours to get food is ridiculous, don’t know if I live in a place where they truly need to commute or if they need to hire more drivers. Either way I’m done with this app and giving it time to turn around. Will be deleting today and sticking with its competitors.

Uber Eats/Door Dash/EZStreet.. This is the worst delivery app I have. I have made 4 order through them because I am constantly hesitant to do so. They say time estimate is about 30 minutes. Every single order I have done I ether didn’t receive my order because it was well over an hour past when I placed it or the store closed after I place my order (an hour after it was placed) it took two hours to get Starbucks which is eight minutes down the road from my house. It just cycles through delivery drivers. I have had 5 for one delivery and still didn’t receive my item! Don’t use it. It’s not worth your time or money. I am a stay at home mom with no vehicle. So yeah when I need something I heavily rely on delivery service apps like this. But this. This is not remotely close to one star app. If u have the patience to wait over an hour for food and want cold food this is perfect for you. DoorDash and Uber Eats. Is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me. This is 0! Update just did one more order to try and see what would happen. It has been 45 minutes. Three delivery drivers later. And my order was returned!!!! FOR ONE ITEM!

Worst Service/Order Wrong/Caused Bank Overdraft. I recently ordered from Favor and it was a terrible experience. (I have ordered with them many times before). (1) The runner (Casey) got my order wrong. Purchasing the wrong item on the menu. He did not communicate regarding the order at all either. (2) One of the food items (which was the burger) had mayo and the person is allergic to mayo so he could not even eat the food. (3) Only compensation was a refund on the burger. Which they charged $40 on my account as a “hold” when the total of order was $15 (after they applied the refund credit for wrong burger item). They did not update on their part regarding the correct amount and instead charged me for previous total (before refund credit was applied). Favor Support (Jamie) who assisted with this issue did not resolve the issue at all and basically told me to contact my bank with any additional concerns. This made me feel not valued as a customer at all. Now my account is overdrawn. Overall dissatisfied with service, order, and will not be ordering from this food app again. I do not recommend this company’s service to anyone.

Dropping Off Fast - Disappointing. In the past, Favor had always been the go to delivery service for my family, friends and I, but unfortunately the past 6 months have made me avoid the service at all costs. Favor is so much worse than UberEats, Grubhub, DoorDash and Caviar. I am not sure how this happened, but the delivery times are literally triple the time of the other delivery services, and the fees are the same if not more. You are never sure if your order is actually placed with a runner, because it “assigns” you a runner about 4 different times before someone actually accepts it. I am very conscious of not ordering anything that would take too long to make or is far away, and this still happens. You have no clue if your order will ever be accepted, it’s taken an hour to find a driver (I live in a large city close to downtown). The final straw(s) for me were three straight orders placed by me or my family saying they were delivered, and never showing up, and we tried to call the driver and customer service. My home is not difficult to find, and this has never happened with other services. When I contacted customer support, they texted me back after an hour, and gave me a credit for the food, but didn’t give a credit for the unavoidable tip. I tipped someone for no food. Unfortunately an app I used often has become unusable for me, and I would advise to look somewhere else for your food delivered.

Worst Delivery service in Houston. The amount of times I have spent over $100 on an order for my family and & have it end up being missing. It’s been more than once. More than twice. More than three times that our food doesn’t get delivered. It’s not only annoying, but just unprofessional for this company to be acting like this. In once me instance, my runner texted me and said my food had been left at the door. I go and check immediately and there’s nothing there. We contact her to tell her there’s nothing outside our door, & she said she would come and fix her mistake. She then blocks my number and I can no longer contact her. And my food was never delivered to us. Also, because of the pandemic & having family members that are high risk, I would ask for the food to be left at the door. & then there are runners that choose to sit in their cars and make you go to them because they just don’t feel like doing their job I guess but they expect us to tip them well. Sometimes I order food for my mother so that she doesn’t have to cook after her long day at work. I shouldn’t have to ask my mother to get up and go get her food outside because the favor employee is too lazy to do his job. Clownery. Favor, your company and employees are embarrassing at this point and your service is infuriating.

Horrible Service. I downloaded favor so i could get the whataburger and had not a single good experience trying to order afterwords. The whataburger was free so theres no complaints there however i have 12 dollars in credits for food and every order since has gotten cancelled. I had enough money but they ended up banning my card temporarily. When i messaged customer service they repeating the same stuff over and over like that would help my problem. i waited a few days and continued messaging with favor service so i could use the money before it deleted. Then once i finally understood it I was suspended. I messaged multiple times to figure out how to fix it and they said they submitted a ticket to get me unbanned and that i would get an email. multiple times and i never got an email, i'm still suspended, and unable to use my credits. Ive never had this many problems ever with an ordering service and had bigger hopes for them considering you have to give a tip to your runners. I had so many problems with trying to order from them that my bank account had gotten flagged and made me verify that it was me. the app layout is also weird. you cant find anything and most meals youre not able to customize or even find the typical menu items on here. some you have to order sides and a drink separately and it doesnt let you customize your items as you please. On top of that they dont really have many food places compared to other ordering services.

Very disappointed. So I figured I’d order from here to be convenient & it was supposed to be only a $3 delivery charge. The place I order my food from is literally less then a couple of miles away & my total came out to $18 & some change but of course it didn’t show me that before I placed my favor cus I would have definitely not ordered from here if I knew that was gunna be the total ! My food was less then $7 ! I could’ve literally got another meal for the next day this will be the last time I use this app Uber eats is ways better at least they show you what’s gunna be charged on your card before you place the order. I NEVER leave reviews EVER because I’m not a picky person & if something isn’t correct on something i usually just shrug & move on but I just can’t get pass this app ! Oh & they took an additional $6 out of my account I see it was refunded but of course it never goes right back into the account money isn’t the issue but I was charged $18+ & an additional $6 that was not approved to be taken out of my account!! This will be the last time I use this app & I will NEVER recommend to anyone! I know the company won’t care but for anyone else contemplating wether they want to use this app or not I hope this review is helpful!

Good Service - SOMETIMES; Other Times, Not So Much. It all depends on the driver you get. At least 50% of the time, you will get either a stupid person, or a lazy one! But, if you get blessed with a great driver, everything is great, and works how it is supposed to work with this delivery service. My #1 issue with Favor is their drivers bring in correct or incomplete orders. Most of them do not want to take the extra time to confirm your order with either you, or the restaurant. At Kroger, they will buy you the wrong product, or lie and say what you wanted was sold out, instead of asking an employee about the item. My last order was from IHOP. When my driver arrived I asked him, “You got me the Cowboy burger, right?” He said, “Yep! The Cowboy burger.” After he left, and I opened the bag, it was a jalapeño burger! I hate jalapeños! All that idiot had done was confirm what I ordered. He never confirmed it with IHOP that I, in fact, got a Cowboy burger. He just trusted them not to get it wrong. Well, IHOP DID get it wrong, but he should have confirmed it with them that it was the right food item ordered.

Can’t give zero stars. Ordered from favor cause I was working a 12 hr shift and my husband had my car so I couldn’t go get lunch. My food total was $15 I tip 20% unless the service is bad. The one time I order from favor my order was delivered wrong it took forty five minutes for the delivery(place is walking distance two minutes from my job but being in the heat of Houston I decided to be lazy my mistake.)then when it got drop off I was in the back of the store. They didn’t say anything they just left my order on the counter. Later it was time to leave a tip and it was automatically at 6 bucks. Not for this service I tipped 2$ because it won’t go lower then it added a “processing fee” turning it up to 3$ making my total order 18$ dollars I had no choice so I paid it. I check my account later cause I got an alert for a 25$ charge from favor. I ordered from that restaurant cause it didn’t have a delivery fee. So why the 7 dollar charge$ I called the restaurant and they said there’s no delivery charge because there so close and I asked what bout on favor and grub hub. Response was no delivery fee because of the distance. Grub hub didn’t charge a processing or delivery fee for the same restaurant and I was able to tip what the service deserved. I’m done with Favor and refuse to recommend it to anyone even if they paid me.

No food, runner ate everything and is doing another favor order. I ordered food from ihop and was expecting it to be delivered in less than an hour since it was close by. After an hour it said they are on the way finally from the place and I was relieved, but then when it said they arrived I looked around and didn’t see anyone and thought maybe they are lost so I went around looking for them and texted them to see where I can find them. No response, so then I contacted customer support to see if they can help, it took a while but they said they will look into my order, I texted my runner again and then it said that the runner is off running another favor... I have not received my food yet, worst experience ever, was looking for a easy order experience but wow was I wrong. I hope this was just the one runner that was bad... favor you need to step up and be stricter to your runners, taking a long time for simple orders that we could have done ourselves in less than an hour. They probably already ate my order while I waiting for them to arrive. In the end I had to do it myself while the bad runner still got paid with the credit customer support gave to clear out the order. Be more in charge please favor.

I’m gonna die of Starvation. Please delete this app. Use UberEats, they are much cheaper and more professional. I waited for my order for over TWO hours, only to have it canceled by the driver. The driver, Tomiwa, kept texting me saying he would go get my order but traffic was bad bc of the rain. Then an hour after placing my order he sent me a text saying “I’m at Texaco, Where are You?,” which was obviously intended for someone else, and he was obviously not on his way to get my order. THEN after waiting TWO hours, he cancels my order. Why? Bc the surge delivery rates had gone through the roof, and he could make more money by canceling my order and moving on to another. Either that or he ran off with his friend from the Texaco. Doesn’t matter that I’d been waiting TWO hours, have hypoglycemia and could die or injure someone else out of hanger. Just canceled with no explanation. I would've at least appreciated a bag of Doritos, specifically Cool Ranch, from the Texaco. So I call the company to complain/resolve my issue. Waited another 30 minutes on hold, then was sent to voicemail. Cool. I’ll just lie on the floor the rest of the evening and hope someone finds me.

Terrible. This is the comment that was removed from the support site: “I said what needed to be said in my comment to the support person, Stacy. Stacy was absolutely fine. The service and the price is inexcusable considering your competitors can do what you do at a fraction of the cost. Not to mention they manage to deliver within a reasonable time frame. I can’t imagine this company will be viable in the next few years unless serious changes are made from an operational/leadership perspective. I say this as an advocate for Texas business. Do better.” This is what I original said regarding my order: “I don't expect anything to be done about this but I'll provide some quick feedback. I waited over 2 hours for my food to arrive and the receipt from the vendor states that the total cost of my items was $42. I just paid $68 for the food. Which means I paid $26 in fees and tip. That's nearly 70% of the cost of the food. I can't imagine how long this service will be able to remain viable when competitors like Door Dash and Uber Eats are able to deliver items on time for a fraction of the cost. I understand that this isn't your fault and you personally do not set these prices but please share this feedback with your leadership team. This will, without hesitation, be the last time I use the service”. Sooo many services out there better than this. No excuse

Wow. It’s amazing to me how little customer service actually cares about an issue. I used this app once and won’t be using it again. I ordered food and had items missing. When I attempted to contact someone, I was referred to a number to text. I texted the number and waited, but never heard anything. I got into my car and drove to the restaurant to reorder the item myself, which completely defeats the purpose of using the app at all. Four days later, I got a response.....FOUR days later. I was told that a $3 credit was put on my account (a credit which had an expiration date, btw). Pretty insulting, considering I had to drive to the restaurant myself to get the missing items and it took days for them to respond to me. I informed this representative that if that was their idea of making this right, then they can keep their $3 because I won’t be using the app again. In the face of losing a new customer, this persons response was to assure me that my “feedback had been passed along to the right team and if there was something else they could help me with”. I then responded saying they could delete my account. To which I was given an email to request deletion. It’s amazing to me that instead of making this right, they were more than willing to lose a potential customer. I see similar complaints with 5 star reviews which seems very odd to me.

Bad communication and delivery estimates. The good- they seem to have the most options available as far as restaurants. All the bad- they are the most expensive with their fees and less transparent about them. They are terrible at estimating delivery times, and unless you get a driver who communicates every step of the way, you literally have no idea where the driver is until they arrive. Unlike other apps, they do nothing to communicate how far away the driver is (like some kind of GPS tracking), what kind of car they drive, a picture of the driver… you just get a name. Tonight the app said my driver was minutes away so I went down to meet him, by the time I was downstairs it said zero minutes. 10 minutes later it still said zero minutes so I tried calling and texting my driver multiple times with no response. 10 minutes later I found out that he’s 5 minutes away, meanwhile for over 20 minutes the app says zero minutes. So fix your app! That’s frustrating for the customer and the driver. But for me, I’m done with Favor considering there are several other apps that are superior, I don’t see the point in bothering with Favor any longer.

FYRE FEST OF DELIVERY APPS. I’ll be honest and say I was swayed by the savvy commercials Favor has been running as of that. I’ll also admit the only reason I have used this service is because of the 21+ beverage deliveries which is crazy that Uber and others haven’t invested more in. That being said, the whole process and service is god awful. Each order I placed, I waited for at least a half hour for my runner to get my stuff to have them replaced with a different runner and another half hour or more added to the time. The fact that they don’t have a map and actual car tracker like EVERY OTHER service has should raise a flag. When my deliveries finally got to me, each runner either had no clue how to operate a phone camera or they (I say this in the least possible degrading way) should not be anywhere near the customer service industry. Very sketchy people who seemed not all there in the head. From not being able to use a phone camera or other matters, the runners had to manually enter my license info to prove that I was over 21 and both times they entered the wrong info which popped up that my license was expired even though it doesn’t expire until 2026 and (shouldn’t they know how to read a license from the state they live in?) this resulted in them claiming it was expired and I couldn’t get my order. Each time I had to show them the right date and at that point I was beyond over it. I’ll never use this service again.

Very unfortunate! I truly wanted this app to work well!. I have been using this app for awhile now and it’s always hit or miss but I kept ordering from them because they used to always make the situation right if any issues happened. However, sadly, this has all changed. The recent situation I was victim to is fraud. Favor wouldn’t help correct the fraudulent charges on my transaction. You as a company cannot promote specific prices and then double them and charge customers for things they didn’t order. It’s clearly fraudulent charges that someone else put on my order in addition to what I ordered… and y’all are OK with not handling the situation? Someone actually told me that they wouldn’t correct the charges because I had other issues in my previous orders. So now I’m being penalized for the other issues Favor owned up to and fixed in previous orders? That’s some messed up logic. I will never be able to use this service again if you don’t make this right and continue to support blatant fraud. My suspicions and evidence is that the runners are doing fraudulent charges on my orders and keeping it for themselves. Your app clearly has an issue that needs to be resolved and it’s not coming from me. I shouldn’t have to fight to “get a refund” for some thing I didn’t even order. Please do the right thing. It’s not that much money but it’s the principle. I should only have to pay for the things that I actually ordered, your advertised fees and what tip I agree to. Period.

Weirdly shady. Firstly, things are not done efficiently. I made an order 30 min before a restaurant closed. I was notified 45 min later that the order was cancelled because the restaurant was closed. It seemed that the driver spent some of this time getting to the restaurant (I’d be surprised if my order was offered to a driver 45 min away) only to find it closed. If they would have called in the order or if the app were to have notified the store of the order when I placed it, and if they would have either not allowed a driver too far away to accept the order or notified me that there was no driver able to get to the location in time it would’ve been a lot better than to be notified the order was canceled after all restaurants were closed. The other thing I really don’t like about the app is that when checking it, it does not show your total. And even when it does show the total or when you check the emailed receipt it does not show the prices of the items bought, cost for taxes, cost for favor services, money spent for tip, or anything. Only lists what food items were chosen and the total. I do not like that lack of transparency. I’ve given this app 3 tries because of the 2 weeks of free orders but am disappointed and do not plan to use it for these reasons.

ZERO STARS STAY AWAY!. I get a lot of indirect favor orders, meaning I order directly from grocery store or restaurant and they choose to use Favor as their delivery service. It’s the absolute worst service, and has been by reading reviews from 2 YEARS AGO!!! I see that the issues are the same and even if it’s directly through the app. Drivers “pick up” your order only to find it’s still sitting at the restaurant an hour after it was prepped. I think their drivers know how difficult it is for them to get reprimanded and so they know they can get away with it, plus I believe drivers aren’t tracked when delivering indirectly. So their drivers don’t give a **** and they mark order picked up, never mark it delivered so that they get paid for the hour plus tip, in the meantime they’re out delivering for DoorDash on a separate device, getting double pay and tip. And it’s no skin off their back, if favor cuts them off, they just go to the next app. Apparently Favor could care less, they only provide credits that quickly expire, not refunds, very unethical company. Unfortunately their drivers also work for other delivery apps and you’ll see their name come up again. Your better off just going for the crap yourself.

I give up. I waited about 30 minutes only to realize that my order was cancelled. When I texted my “runner” why, he said because the restaurant I ordered from is “coming soon” - not even open yet. It’s not his fault but I wish the website would have specified that. I tried it one more time to give them the benefit of the Doubt and they ran my card twice. In the end, I never got my food I ordered because I had to cancel my transaction for the double charge and only prolonged my hunger for 2 hours when I could have just gone to grab food myself in 20 minutes. But because of the rain and weather I thought it would have been more convenient to order through this app. I learned my lesson never again Edit: I tried again today and it was the worst. I waited TWO HOURS for my order to get to me. And I have screenshots. Favor made me tip $10, when this person did not deserve it. When I texted the runner (which I also have screenshots of), she never apologized or said I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I can hear her attitude through the text. She only said “I was with another order, and am 3 minutes away.” - so in other words she’s telling me to chill out. No apology, no Im sorry. No anything. If she was on another order then FAVOR should have let me know and or given my order to someone else. Do yourselves a “FAVOR” and avoid this app. Uchenna N. was not a god runner.

Terrible Payment and Tip system. Downloaded the app for the first time seeing a rasing canes ad and figured I’d try it out. Came to a total of $22 and some change, and this was before tip. Perfectly okay with that. When I confirmed my payment method and paid, I suddenly got a notification from bank that Favor charged $38! That’s a $16 difference. I was super confused because there was NO WHERE to change or edit a tip before hand. Nor was there a message or pop up telling me this add $16 charge was gonna be added to my $22 total. I contacted customer service about this issue and I was told the $16 was a temporary tip and they OVERCHARGE to make sure you have funds but they don’t put this disclaimer ANYWHERE before or after paying. Customer service told me I can edit the tip amount after the delivery has been completed which is such a flawed system and is a ridiculous amount. I had my food delivered and my order updates to say “finish payment” and I thought I could finally change my tip amount. But no, I was asked how many stars was the service from the driver. I clicked next and my tip was automatically made to $7. I still cannot change the tip even afterwards. When ordering please keep this in mind. Never using this app again. 👎

Has gone downhill. I started using Favor before the pandemic at it was fantastic! They were prompt and courteous and the few times when I did have a problem their customer service was on point. But lately it has gotten a lot worse. If the restaurant you are trying to order from is more than two miles out from your location you can forget it. They will endlessly cycle through drivers and you’ll wait long periods until it seems like a driver was found only to have the order dropped altogether. One time I ordered and it took over an hour to get my food, it was from a sushi place not far from my house, but I couldn’t leave to get it myself. I kept texting the driver and they kept saying that the restaurant was very busy and that it wasn’t his fault. When I finally got my food the soup was ice cold. So I called the restaurant and they told me they weren’t busy at all and they had fulfilled my order right away. The restaurant owner did tell me that she noticed the Favor driver booking rides as an Uber or Lyft driver while waiting for my order. I was so upset I ended up talking with a customer service person from Favor and they just shrugged it off. They gave me my money back, but that was the last straw for me. I haven’t used Favor since. You’re probably better off sticking with Uber Eats. It’s a little more expensive, but it’s worth it.

This app has gone downhill. I use to love using this app and I would recommend this app to everyone I knew. But now I don’t really want to do that seeing how every time I place an order, I have to sit and wait after being assigned 4 or 5 drivers. I have to go through 4 or 5 drivers just waiting for one of them to pick up my order and THEN FINALLY are they able to head over to the store. 1. All that waiting is such a waste of time, I could have gotten it myself and come back before anyone takes my order, that’s how long I have to wait. 2. Please make drivers be more penalized if they don’t just pick up the order they were given! I’m a favor driver on the side, I accept MOST IF NOT ALL of my orders. Unless the order is too big and I know my tiny car can’t fit all the items! Please try and fix this multiple driver issue! To clarify what I mean. What I mean is every time I place an order and see my driver I’m like “cool, that person will pick it up and get on with the order”. NOPE, someone else pops up and then I think the same thought until after the 5th driver I saw. And then that’s when it finally says “your driver is headed to the store”! Why did 4 DRIVERS reject my order? Did it not make them enough? I tip at least $5 every time I order so the tip shouldn’t be the reason why they leave! Fix this issue please!

Not worth the “convenience” it’s supposed to offer. I have been a Favor user since 2019 but have only ordered 14 times from it. That should tell you all you need to know without me writing a review.. but I’ll fill you in on why you shouldn’t bother with Favor. Almost every single order I’ve placed has taken well over the usual 30 minutes they say it will take. This is mostly because a runner will accept my order and then drop it. Once, my order was dropped by four….FOUR…different runners. That’s ridiculous! I decided to give them another try today after going since September 2022 without ordering. You guessed it; my order was dropped. I reached out to text support and was told they were trying to find a runner. I told them of my experience with their service in the past and that was basically ignored. The support rep even tried arguing with me that the order wasn’t being dropped, just declined. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know when you get a notification that a runner has accepted your order and is on the way to the store, only to see minutes later in the app that no runner is assigned, your order got dropped. So today was the last straw. I’ve never had this experience from any other delivery service. I will no longer use Favor, and would advise you not to if you want to save a hassle. I’ve been needing to delete trash apps off my phone, so this is the perfect one to go first!

Horrible customer service. The runner came to my apartments, I saw him and he said he was going to deliver to the apartment upstairs and he had my food in the car and he would get it. I stood outside until he was coming back down the stairs, he said I’m gonna go get your food and come right back. I haven’t saw him again. I walked to the parking lot he’s gone. Of course he doesn’t answer his phone. I paid favor $24 for a $13 meal, they put the tip in they think the runner deserves. I never change it. I have tried with no luck to get in touch with anyone from Favor. They send automated messages about someone getting in contact with you, never happens. And I still haven’t received a refund. I will never use Favor again. And the worst part is this is during the “stay home” order while the country is in a pandemic, Favor runners are running off with people food and the customer is still being charged. I’m trying to do the right thing by staying home. I’m disappointed. Update: Favor terminated my account after I gave them another chance and this time the driver failed to deliver to my job. I’m still waiting on refund. Favor is FRAUD

Where is my food????. Ok so I don’t even know how this could happen - I ordered some snacks, the runner got what I need, I saw the receipt from the favor app, the order status was updated to “arrived”, but the runner disappeared, with my snacks. It’s just annoying. I was tried after work, wanted my favorite snacks, and was willing to pay $14 to let someone get it for me. The snacks themselves are 30 bucks and the store is 15 mins away from where I live. That’s right, Favor billed me 14 dollars for doing that and I’m fine with it. And then my runner never showed up. Finally figured out ok my snacks were not coming, fine I’ll ask for refund and go get them myself, and then I realized, the store closed. You see, I could drive 15 mins to the store and get what I want 2 hours ago, but I chose to use Favor, thought I could save myself several minutes to do something more important by paying 50% more of the price of my snacks, and now, no food, wasting time contact customer service, getting more anxiety - not to mention the customer service is so slow, not heard back anything from them yet. Now I just don’t understand why this app exist. High service fee and low customer experience? I can’t do this math.

Thieves and Rats!. This app is the worst! I really liked it in the beginning. Until I started paying attention to my charges. This app does not give you the option to go back and look at your transactions or receipts. At the time that you pay that is your only chance to review the purchase so if you don’t look at the actual picture of the receipt Favor just shows a breakdown of the transaction. They add extra fees on top of what you buy, taxes and fee! So when you look at the break down it just shows how much your food was taxes and the tip. They throw in their extra fee under your food and if you don’t look at the actual receipt you would never know. Also they always have a “suggested” tip amount already pre-set at check out so if you don’t edit the amount you are stuck paying a $5 tip! Most of the time the screen flashes so quick you don’t even get the chance to edit the tip. I definitely don’t recommend this app the way it’s set up it’s meant to keep you from being able to question them. Also it’s impossible to cancel an order the only one that can is the runner! And if you need any help you can forget about it! You have to e-mail them and it takes days to get response!

Be very careful!!. I started out loving the convenience of this app. I didn’t have any trouble until recently. I ordered food at 2pm the app advised it was experiencing higher than normal volume so I was patient the first 30 minutes. Then I sent the driver a text asking how long it would be. He said he didn’t know. It was at that point I sent a message for my order to be canceled. I told the driver and contacted customer service. They have no real customer service your just texting a random number they give you. Around 4 I get a message from a totally different driver that he is outside with my food. I tell him the whole story and his response was well you paid for it so it’s here. Not only did they not cancel the order but now my 9 dollar sandwich that I ordered at 2 was at the door at 4 and they charged me 25 dollars!! I immediately sent an email to the company with screenshots and receipts if the entire transaction and they NEVER got back to me. Now I have to call my credit card company and show them the whole story to open a fraud claim. In what world do you wait for TWO HOURS for a sandwich then pay 25 dollars for it? I won’t use or recommend this app it is a rip-off plain and simple!!

Want your money stolen? Add this app. I’ve been using this new way to get food “right to your door” for some time. This week I used them like I always do. But surprisingly my order never came in. I had to go to work so after waiting for over 1 hr for the food to arrive I left for work. Not once was contacted by the driver or anyone from Favor to notify if order was canceled, in route, or driver was busy. Again order was NEVER received. After emailing support Tyler was kind enough to “provide you with a courtesy credit into your account that will expire in 60 days, since the order that you placed was received”. What? I can only imagine why would I go thru the trouble of even writing to them in the first place. After that I email I replied that he could keep the “courtesy credit” I will learn my lesson and never use this or any platform in the future. I find it interesting that he stated that order was definitely deliver since after waiting for 1:15 minutes I left for work and did not came home until 2am. In the past the drivers have left the food in the floor and I would pick them up at my return. Not this time so I’m not sure what’s their deal. Anyways if you are tempted save yourself the trouble and don’t. This is the first time I’ve been robbed and then called lier right to my face.

Disgruntled and hungry. If this review were only for the app and its use, I’d give it a higher rating. The problem is the drivers who use the app to place your order have to be competent, sharp and customer service driven. If the driver orders in haste or doesn’t read the order correctly you won’t get what you ordered and it will be a disappointing experience. Or if they don’t care enough to make sure bag of food does flip over you get a box of mush. This has been my history with using Favor over other food delivery apps. My history of receiving incorrect orders, or food delivered that looks like it went through a tumble dryer has happen more often than it should. The drivers every time answer my text and tell me “just call customer service, they’ll refund your money.” Which they do and the driver still gets the tip. So I’d say 30% of my orders placed on Favor have ended with me getting my money back, not getting to eat and more hassle than it was worth. There is no convenience when you expect to have dinner for your family delivered and they leave off your kid’s meal or order you something you can’t eat or you end up having to jump in your car and driving to pick up take-out and eat two hours later than you expected. Favor needs to incentivize drivers to do better or find a way to quality check the drivers and deliveries.

Seriously need some work.. When you read this I’m trying to say this as nicely as possible taking into consideration it being a fairly new apps with updates and bugs and glitches. But there is merchants on there with different closing times that have been prolonged to further hours, some cannot get to use the favor app until certain hours of the day or night depending on ones life or work schedule. Bottom line. Don’t even worry about posting this to the app reviews. But simply try to adjust when merchants times are available. And if someone puts in a custom order for a place that is open, but is considered closed on the application. That can be the most frustrating thing in the world to want to use the app for convenience when it’s more trouble than its worth. That will spread word fast of an app not working. And with how much money considerably goes to smoke shops and fast food chains, that can be a big loss off of a simple mistake or “bug” in the application. For people that can’t get the app to work it will do nothing but bring the app down. I will not be using this app until this is fixed and will let everyone and anyone know how much this app does not work for these stores and areas because I would hate to see anyone close or even as little as an acquaintance to me go through the hassle I have went through when it is supposed to be easy and convenient and poor customer service as well.

Terrible Service. When I first started using Favor a couple of years ago, the service was fast and the orders were correct. The drivers were professional and I had few issues. We order food to feed our clients regularly and over the last few months, the service has been atrocious. One experience was so bizarre I can’t even believe it myself! I literally had an experience in which the driver took over 3 hours to bring the food after accepting the order because he had to “charge his phone.” I called the restaurant in question and they informed me that the driver had ordered my food but had been there dining in himself for over an hour while having asked them to charge his phone. (He never let me know there was any issue.) It took customer service even longer than that to sort it out. I got my food elsewhere before he showed up with the 3 hour old food. Instead of replacing the food, favor waived the delivery fee. 🤨

Paid over $40 for the wrong order. My problem with this app is that if your delivery is incorrect, there’s no efficient way to fix the problem. I ordered from a Hawaiian poke bento box from a local sushi restaurant Because I couldn’t leave work for lunch. The driver gave my bag to the receptionist and she excepted it. Immediately when I opened it, I recognized that this was a chicken skewer on top of fried rice. Clearly not poke tuna on top of sushi rice. It seems to me that it should be the drivers job to confirm that the order is correct before leaving the restaurant and they should’ve been an obvious mistake to catch. I immediately texted the driver and he texted me back an automated message with the phone number to call favor headquarters. That was basically useless. I got a voicemail that asked me to leave them a message. An hour later, still no response. So now I’m stuck with an extremely expensive lunch that I didn’t order and don’t want. I cannot explain how irritated I am at this moment. And this is not the first time that this has happened…So at this point I blame myself and will not use this app ever again. And because there’s a strong chance that you will not get what you paid for, I advise everyone else not to use the app either.

Terrible customer service!. A few other coworkers and I decided to order from Favor Friday at work. We sent in our order and a runner was immediately assigned. After this, the process slowed down immensely. It took what felt like forever for our runner to get to the store and order and what not. When she finally did arrive we noticed there was a lot of food from somewhere else sitting in the car as if she had picked up another order along with ours. When we all started to go through the food we noticed two whom sandwiches missing. We let the runner know and she apologized and offered to pick them up. No harm no foul if she did. We sat waiting for her for a while and when we reached out to her again we were informed she was already on another order. She never told us anything about the sandwiches or that she was moving on. Despite this I still had to pay full price plus tip for the order. I sent and email and text to favor and was told someone would be in touch shortly. It’s been two days and favor is still sending me alerts to order from them but has neglected to get in contact about the order I paid for. What’s most upsetting is the sandwiches that were forgotten were for one person who didn’t get to have lunch that day. Probably never using favor again after all of this.

Favor doesn’t care about their customers. I had an issue over $2. $2! Their runner purchased something for themselves and the app forces you to leave a tip minimum of $2. I wanted the tip refunded and the item they purchased refunded. That was it. For a total of $5.78. They refused. They gave me $3.78 as a credit but minus their tip and what I’m getting refunded was $1.78 of their fraudulently purchased item of my money. All this over $2. Sad. They don’t care about their customers. Buyer beware. If you ever have an issue with your order you will be left holding the charge, especially if they’re not willing to refund $2 to a runner who committed theft so I could be refunded my money. I wasn’t asking for the whole order. There were other problems with this runner. Use another food delivery app. They each have their problems but so far favor is bottom of the barrel. Can’t find where to delete my account but I deleted my app. Maybe I can tell the rep who didn’t care and continued to tell me that’s not how things work. It’s cool. Favor is cool with fraud and shady runners. You’ll be left with the bill. Disgusted. Will tell everyone favor as a company has no integrity or honor and willing to cover for thieves.

Nothing Special. If you live in a big city like Austin or Dallas etc I encourage you to use any other delivery app like door dash. I was very excited to see that the small town I live in was finally getting a food runner app and originally had no issues with it whatsoever. Over time this service has become frustrating and essentially useless. The app seems to have gotten harder and harder to navigate, half the time what i want isn’t even available to order and I have to text the runner with an entirely different order than what i put on the app if i actually want to get what i want. It seems that all of the runners in my area are just extremely unpleasant or never want to work. I understand that runners are usually doing this as a side gig and have full control over the orders they take but the last several times I’ve tried using this service i just watch my order get picked up and canceled multiple times over the course of an hour before finally giving up. If you live in a small town that offers Favor just bite the bullet and go get it yourself. It’ll be infinitely faster. I strongly suggest that y’all add a feature that lets customers know if there are active runners in their area or not so they don’t waste their time waiting for an order that’s never gonna get picked up. That or maybe just don’t offer a service in such small towns where it likely won’t be able to flourish. Pointless 😡

Do yourself a favor and don’t download FAVOR. I have used favor 3 times and only had 1 reasonable experience. I downloaded Favor because The Breakfast Klub uses their service. The first time I ordered the delivery took 2 hours. The application does not offer any real estimate of how long deliveries will take or any type of gps tracking like other delivery services. My most recent experience I ordered food at 5:06pm and the runner didn’t arrive to the location until 7:00pm and I didn’t receive my food until 8:19pm. The runner left the restaurant at 7:35pm with my food and notified me that “he was on E and needed gas” smh. The restaurant was 5 miles from my home yet it took him another 45 min to deliver my now cold food. I reached out to customer service and it was days before they responded (via text) not even a phone call for my terrible experience. They attempted to blame the ordeal on the restaurant and when I challenged their reasoning they blamed it on never having enough runners. Needless to say I was disappointed enough to write this review. I was equally disappointed to find out this is an H-E-B company which I love and consider a pillar of customer service. Download Uber Eats or Door Dash..

Do not use Favor. I expect that drivers will be horrible most of the time with any delivery service. What I don’t expect is for a company to have no phone number. No love supper of any kind. Our driver ignored our instructions to bring the delivery around front. We have lots of little wild possums and squirrels and dogs that have no issue with ripping into a bag to eat your stuff. When we finally noticed our bag sitting by our back gate it was too late. Our driver hadn’t even updated that she had come. App said she was still at the restaurant. I tried contacting favor via their app and all they have is texting. No phone number, no live chat…texting. Took them an hour to answer the first time and then I got an auto responder in repose to my text back. I hit Twitter and they responded faster but took them nearly an hour to do a second reply. No phone number and no way to dispute anything on your own, makes for some of the worse customer service I’ve ever seen. And I thought Door Dash was bad, at least they have a live chat. If you are thinking of using g FAVOR, don’t. If something goes wrong they will take their sweet time even contacting you.

Wish there was zero stars. I use this app frequently during the week when I’m in Austin and never had issues with it. I live in College Station on the weekends and the few times I have used the App it’s not great but has steadily declined. Tonight was the final straw. Ordered food for a bunch of people and had an estimated wait time of 45 minutes to 1 hour. Over the hour waiting for the food, the time steadily increased in 15 minute increments all the way to 2 hours. I got worried as I had many people waiting so I called the restaurant to check as the Favor runner wasn’t responding and the restaurant didn’t even have the order. Hadn’t even been placed yet. Meanwhile they just kept extending the predicted time to over two and a half orders after I ordered. At that point by the time I canceled the last order and placed a new one I wasn’t going to get food until after 10:15 at night and had to pay 2.5 times the delivery rate. What a scam. The best part was the runner texted me when I first placed my order and when I texted back to inquire they were not aware of my order at all.

I’d rather Waitr. I’ve only used this app a few times and never had a problem. Prior to I was using Waitr for the past few years, but it can quickly get expensive. With Favor the orders were always correct, hot, and delivered quickly and cheaper. However, I placed my last order before 9PM last night with a restaurant I knew would be open for the next several hours. Estimated delivery time was between 9:45-10pm. Kinda long, but it was a busy Saturday so no issue. Didn’t receive any notifications by 9:50, so checked the order status and I was surprised to see it had changed to 10:45-11pm without any notice. Okay, kind of annoying but whatever so I waited. I am very sick, and with a child in bed asleep and as a single parent couldn’t leave to pick up my order. Then I got a notification at 10:17pm that Favor had canceled my order at “no cost to me” because they “closed.” I wasn’t given ANY warning that they would be closing soon before my order was placed or when they updated my delayed delivery time. I’ve never had this issue with Waitr and have ordered from them several times late at night. I won’t be using this service anymore because it put me in a bad bind last night and didn’t appreciate how it was handled. Definitely sticking to Waitr from now on.

Great App; Great Service; Poor Prices. Let me start with If your complaint is that the restaurant is 5 minutes from you but the delivery took 30mins; then you should have just gone to get the food yourself! Now the app is Awesome with respect to availability and response time; EASY to order! However, every step post ordering is just shady, you CAN NOT see your total cost AT ALL until your order arrives! When mine finally showed, the food was $16, “delivery fee” was $6.00, and tip of $5 and a “processing fee” of $1.30!!! $16 Order turned $28; Given that the Runner had outstanding and FAST service I wouldn’t bash the price! But $6 delivery fee seems a bit expensive given that the one DELIVERING is the runner and he has to get a tip on top of that! And the processing fee is questionable since the runner is the one who has to order your food when he/she gets to the restaurant—- it’s not placed from the app but from the runner! Which is explains any and all delays, and that to me is understandable! Great App but a bit Pricey, I’d say it’s worth it if you don’t mind spending the money on the app rather than gas and time lol

Use Postmates or GrubHub. Favor misses something every time. We have had to do a lot of take out lately due to my schedule. Sometimes 2 times a day. If we had to Favor would of course miss something 2 times a day. That means someone wasn’t eating. Their response was a credit that would show up a few days later or a delivery credit and then it would happen again and again and again. They don’t do anything to try and fix the problem. Take your business somewhere mistakes rarely happen and when when they do they are made up for. Don’t waste your money with Favor. I gave Favor another try recently. I had a driver that I’m pretty sure was drunk. After two hours with no communication when he finally did arrive I had already ordered other food assuming he was not going to show up. He was very pushy once he did arrive. Even after I asked him to keep the food and told him I would still pay. I was home alone with my three year old daughter and made to feel very uncomfortable. He finally left after I promised I would still tip him. I had reached out to Favor support before he got here to try and see what was going on. Afterwards when they eventually reached out I explained and they simply said they could not do anything since the order had been placed. No refused for physical safety of customers. I highly highly recommend Grub Hub, they are great and I have not once had any sort of issue.

More often than not, a bad experience. I have been using delivery apps, first Favor, multiple times a week for years now. Favor used to be way better. About a year ago, it started getting really bad. They have a difficult time finding drivers, they don’t care if something goes wrong with your order and worst of all, they trick you into paying insanely high tips to their drivers. They first don’t even let you set the tip amount until after the food is delivered. Then, they set an automatic tip amount for you that are at least 5-6 dollars and sometimes up to 12 dollars. Then, they have the audacity to charge you automatically before you’ve had a chance to change the tip amount to a decent, normal amount. On top of that, because they never have any drivers, their already insane delivery fee (6 dollars - lol.) is sometimes more than doubled. So they expect you to pay a 15 dollar delivery fee, with a 12 dollar tip, plus random extra costs, even if it takes hours for your cold food to arrive, for food and delivery that if anything is actually wrong with it, they won’t really care and will be hard to reach anyway to get them to care. What a huge waste of my time and money. Yeah, no. I use Ubereats now. Sometimes I still use Favor but it’s not worth the risk with all the other better options out there.

Ordering system is horrible. The drivers are fast and bring it in good shape, but the system is not. I have allergies so every order has to be modified. I talked to others and reviewed the app before use. It gives a place for detailed and specific instructions. However after talking to the restaurants I’ve ordered from, I learned that the information I supply is not given to them. Someone takes my information and then gives it to them. I don’t know if it’s the app or the driver, but it has not been done correctly. Between two different days I’ve ordered from 3 different restaurants. Not one order was completed correctly. The only correct order I received out of my 4 total orders was 4 espresso shots. Maybe if you can order an item exactly as is, you could get it done right. The other problem I have is that they say it is free, but you are forced to tip at least $2 regardless of what happens and your order is charged an extra $2 for the use of the app. That is at least $4 before you receive your items, and as stated almost everything has been wrong. Never again!

The best food app ever. I love this app so much!! It’s my favorite to go to app when ordering food. I tried Uber eats and door dash but one is really expensive and the other just the drivers mess up your order or give it away to someone else and when you confront them about it they straight up lie! ANYWAYS that is NOT the case with favor & the drivers! The app is so easy to use and great and the drivers for the most part are good on delivery speed and have NEVER messed up my order or gave it to someone else and I love that! I also love the fact that the app gives you rewards to unlock after so many purchases!! it’s pretty cool. Overall this app is truly the best food / drink / snack app ever!! it’s not just restaurants it also delivers from gas stations and even black owned restaurants which is so great especially with everything that’s going on in the world we need to help and support the black community as much as possible.

Disappointing!!!. FAVOR gets one star for last nights service because I couldn't give negative star for CS!!! As a once CS supervisor I question the leadership... 2 of the 3 orders have been wrong. The first order, an extra item was added to my order. I paid because hey it was GrubBurger my daughters favorite and I I wanted to see how it compared to DoorDash. They CS rep was very apologetic so I look over. That God paying/affording wasn't an issue. Then last week I tried to order and after an hour and 30 mins I get a message the restaurant was closed due to system down, okay I shrug it off. Last night I order and 2 items were missing? I reach out to CS, still no answer this morning. With a $9 top you would think the runners could at least check your freaking bag against the receipt. They take a picture of it to send to you which means it's in there hand!!!! CHECK THE BAGS.. I'm not a review person but not bring acknowledged of my issue is too much for me to conceive !!!!

Disgruntled and hangry. I have been a loyal favor customer for years, probably since the beginning of favor. I have never had any issues with them until tonight, and tonight was a biggie. My order was delivered to the wrong address (their error, not mine), and when I reached out to customer service to try to get it fixed, it took them way too long to respond. By the time they got in touch with me and canceled my order, the restaurant was closed, so now I am left eating leftovers instead of my pizza that I have been looking forward to eating all week.I expect more out of them. I am seriously considering never ordering from them again because this has been such a horrible experience, and this one horrible experience has undone every single good delivery I have ever had with them. I would have been better off driving to the pizza restaurant myself to pick up my food. They didn’t seem to care that I had been inconvenienced or that their driver had made the mistake. Basically appalling customer service.I would seriously think twice about downloading this app or using their services. And no, my name is not Karen, and I rarely ever complain about stuff like this, but tonight was a dealbreaker.

Too focused on runner, use a different app. Favor has some nice options that are not available through other delivery apps in my city. However, the app is far less efficient and easy to use than any other I’ve tried. You can’t see a map of the runner to ensure they are actually going to follow through and not have the runner change 5 times. You don’t see the total until the runner is returning (the app forces you to pay a tip and automatically sets it at 5-6 dollars in addition to the delivery fee), and there is no way to cancel/deliver feedback unless it is to the runner themself. Ordered yesterday and the runner changed 4 times, so the ETA kept changing. I texted the runner an hour after I ordered and a new person said they had the order. An hour and forty minutes after the order was placed through the app, they said they had just ordered and the place was busy so it would take a while. I had them cancel, but there really should be a way for the customer to do this through the app in these situations. I wasted almost 2 hours of time because of the way the app is set up. I will go back to my tried-and-true app choice for future deliveries.

Once and never again. We were going to splurge for my birthday and decided to use this app for the first time, based on the good reviews. I ordered and watched on the app as the driver supposedly was picking up the food. We waited excitedly, movie and people ready! And waited. And waited. Paced right inside the door. Then it said that the food had been delivered! NOT true! The driver hadn’t even driven down our street. So I contacted customer service, which turned out to be a joke, b cause I didn’t not receive a reply until much later the following day - after the evening had already been ruined! They charged my credit card for the non-existent food, btw! And the driver got paid his fee. After having to repeatedly explain what happened, I was finally refunded the money for the food. I was never given an explanation as to what happened. The very least I would have done, had this been my business, would have been to give the customer a voucher for a free meal - or any other gesture towards trying to make amends - but that didn’t happen! Needless to say that we will never use them again.

It’s getting bad. I’ve been using Favor for over a year now and there seems to always be an issue compared to UberEATS and Grubhub. They show you a $2 delivery fee and once the driver is on the way, you see a really high cost as compared to what you were expecting to pay. Whenever I use the support they just say it is what it is and there’s a 16% merchant fee PER ITEM. I don’t show any notice or alert before placing the order and that type of practice without warning is unacceptable. If I had known I was not only going to get a delivery charge but a per item merchant charge I wouldn’t bother with favor. Whenever I have a problem with UberEATS they respond quickly and refund whatever amount I’m disputing. Favor shows no ownership and I never have a receipt dos played on the app.

Big lazy tax, and drivers don’t always verify everything. Good app, but the problem with all these “delivery apps” is 1. You are going to be paying more for being lazy for not getting it yourself 2. No way to get money back on items merchants didn’t give you 3. Always worried about drivers stealing items. Yesterday I ordered some Taco Bell (last time ordering at that location. Will write a “nice” thorough review soon.) and they screwed me on a Mexican pizza (4 dollars), I know this doesn’t seem like a big deal to some people, but I budget my money, and it hurt to imagine my $4 burning in vain for nothing. A lot of drivers don’t speak very good English, which makes them pretty Incompetent when you have specific instructions. Many flaws in all the apps. Maybe it will get better over time. Nothing is perfect. Thanks for reading and I hope this helps, and that some of you can relate.

I’m a Favor Runner 🤓. I wish customers knew: Runners only work for tips, use our own car and time. I love running 🏃🏼‍♀️ Favors for people with a smile. It’s a personal assistant app that is designed for people without transportation or time to go run the errand themselves. Need your dry cleaning picked up? Lunch or dinner? HEB groceries? (HEB owns Favor btw) I’ll be there shortly with a smile. 🏃🏼‍♀️☔️🍽🥡🍕👚😊. The standard delivery fee is $2.10 (higher during peak hours) and 20% tip (which you may adjust on the app. Please be kind.) Runners go through training and a background check. I’m sure there are conscientious runners who really care and ones with less of a moral compass. We are not allowed to check your food so it’s up to the restaurant to tell us when we ask if each item is included. I hope this helps! 🏃🏼‍♀️😎👋🏼

Annoying and Ineffective. This is my second time ordering from this app thinking it would be okay because I use all the delivery apps. Both times i'm not sure if the "runners" kept the items or delivered them to the wrong address but I never received them. What i did receive was a text back informing me that I needed to contact text support. I did so however this was EXTREMELY unhelpful as the texts are apparently not high priority and I am still awaiting a response nearly 30 minutes later. I really don't understand how I can receive orders perfectly from every other app with identical instructions but this app can't seem to figure it out. Will be removing this app from my phone and honestly can't say i see any reason for anyone else to bother downloading it. The customer service is atrocious and their interface is even worst! My suggestion is that in a market so full of apps just like yours, you guys take the time to actually develop one that customers can trust because this ain't it.

“Surprise charge”. This is the SECOND time this issue has happen when they want to charge me DOUBLE of the foods worth. I use to order favor all the time when i was in San Marcos at the time it was only on Austin & San Marcos area. My $26 order turned into $46 dollars… on top of that… mind you THEYRE already charging “a fee” for using favor to keep it running plus a “delivery” fee, but on top of that they want to charge an additional fee. I spoke with JJ on message no way to call if you have an issue with them. This is where i had it… STICKING TO DOOR DASH, when i got hit with the “surprise charge” as he stated… never had this issue but one time again i stopped for a few months ordering went with door dash instead. FAVOR wants to charge all of this “additional hidden fees” which has been a complaint with favor runners on Facebook they barely get Orders or anyone running & only get $2 tip I WONDER WHY?!?!?! When I’d run favor it was $9 if you got in the schedule if not it’s whatever you make in tips if I’m not mistaking $2-3 an hour, not worth it if you can’t get in the schedule. Oh but when i complained they want to take the RUNNERS TIP instead of the additional $7-8 & keeping the charge with the $3.66 fee & $2 delivery fee plus the $extra tip i was going to give her i had already given cash, cause SHE WAS AMAZING… it’s FAVOR i have a problem with. Be cautious with the “surprise charge”.

DONT USE FAVOR. I used to love favor and never had a problem with any of my orders, until one never showed at my door. Rather than offering a number to call, you have to text someone and wait for 10 minutes at a time for a reply. If your order doesn’t show, all they do is pay for the order you placed and you STILL don’t get the food you asked for. Favor, simply paying for food that a customer doesn’t receive is not compensation. It doesn’t change anything. I’m still sitting here, hungry, and waiting for a text back from the support team, which isn’t very supporting at all. There should be a system in place, like every other food delivery app, to where the runner has to take a picture of the door they left your food at. Also, I still had to tip the runner who didn’t give me my food a minimum of 2$. I hope something is being done to hold people accountable, but with the “support team” I have dealt with, I am doubtful.

Favor To Go. I enjoy Favor for one main reason - I get to talk to LIVE BREATHING HUMAN BEING every time I place an order. I am not talking to a machine or robot. I forget to add things sometimes like drinks or sides - the fact I can text or call a LIVE human on real time makes this app my favorite food delivery app. The runners are usually quick and friendly. This app is Texas based so yes - it is a bit more pricey but I rather support my Texas companies and their employees. Also - yes they do add in tips and fees but I see it as “how much would I pay my neighbor to take the time and resources (car, gas, energy ect) to go wait in line at a loud crazy crowded restaurant on a Friday night? More than the delivery fee and tip that’s for sure. Other apps are alright too - but Favor is my Go to 90% of the time. You get what you pay for. Thanks HUMANS with Favor!

Incorrect and Misleading Charges. The app design is fine and user friendly, but there’s no excuse for the money calculations being wrong or misleading. First, when we place our order, the “estimated” charge for the order was under reported by about 50%, not itemized, and unable to be viewed before checking out. This also caused the suggested tip to be off by 50% when all was said and done. There is a less transparent service charge imbedded in the total food ordered - ours was 8%, which is not itemized and is a separate charge from the itemized delivery charge and tip. Lastly, the items we ordered were charged to us at a different price, each $1 higher than the prices listed on the menu. Customer service responded quickly, but only issued us a refund for the price error, so buyer beware of what you actually pay for your order. Ordering a simple family meal shouldn’t be so difficult that you have to do a forensic audit of the charges.

Hard working Favor Runners!!. If you read the information you’ll know what you sign up for. These individuals use their own car, their own gas and their own time to get whatever you want delivered to you. Don’t be mad at them if it takes slightly longer than you think. Everyone has their own way of doing things. Yes, 20% tip might seem like a lot but this is personalized service. I’ve ordered from other delivery apps and always receive cold food or nothing at all. Favor is fair and honest. Remember that you Favor delivery person might be 10-20 minutes away from your restaurant even though it’s 5-10 minutes away from you. Things happen because everyone is human and aren’t perfect. Restaurants say things are in a bag but make mistakes too. Be kind and remember it’s a Favor! 🙌

Favor is awesome. First, let me say that favor can get expensive. A $6 delivery fee plus a percentage of your total as an administrative fee gets pricey if you order, say, groceries. However, if I wanted to save the fee’s I could always be less lazy. Also, the drivers are always super responsive, courteous and any time they have made a mistake offered to correct it. Usually I am only making them aware because, again, if I wanted to be picky I could always be less lazy. I can also order things dropped off to my daughter at school so that I don’t have to leave work or surprise my husband with lunch. Favor has saved my life when I was sick and supported my occasional binge watching by keeping me supplied. I tell people about favor all the time. It’s a great service.

Deserves less than 1 star. A lot can be said about Favor, none of which is positive. My first big issue with Favor was when I placed an order for about $45 worth of food. The only item actually delivered from my order was chips and queso (about $5). My driver kept the rest, and immediately turned off the text service when I started asking where the rest of my order was. Favor forced me to tip the driver even though I didn’t get my order. Trying to get a refund for the items I didn’t receive nearly took an act of God. No phone number to call, no email, no support system other than a text message service. This support was so inadequate, it took days to finally talk to someone. P. S., if enough time lapses, you’ll get assigned to someone new and have to re-text your entire issue all over again, and go through all of the details you’ve already hashed out multiple times. I should have known at that point, I should have stopped using Favor. Second issue was when I placed an order at 9:00am, I was told delivery times were taking longer and it’d be about an hour to an hour and a half wait. No problem. 4 HOURS later I got asked if I still wanted my order because the driver was just getting to the store and it’d be ANOTHER 2 hours before I got my food since the restaurant had a wait. Needless to say, I won’t be using the favor app anymore. I recommend you do the same.

Terrible. Use Ubereats. Customer service is awful. First of all, it took the runner almost 30 minutes to even get to the restaurant. However, I understand it was later at night & they were probably low on runners. But then my order arrived and 3 out of my 4 items were missing from my order. They said they weren’t responsible for my items being missing since it was right on the receipt. Do they not train their runners to make sure they received all the items? Isn’t that one of the most important things? They told me they would credit me back for the delivery fee and the tip. What about the money that was spent on 3 items I did not receive? I can handle the tip myself. Ubereats is faster, they provide you with better tracking, and I haven’t had a bad experience with their customer service. You also know what you’re paying up front, can add tip when you order, & fees are much more reasonable. I could say the same about Postmates. Take my advice and save some money (and time.)

Absolutely terrible. I used this app because I was swayed by the advertising that promised easy delivery so I decided to give it a chance....I’ve never left a review on an app but this was absolutely terrible. First off, it takes SO long for a “runner” to receive your order, it took them about 2 hours for them to arrive to the restaurant. Before they arrived at the restaurant I wanted to cancel my order because it was taking too long and I saw that no progress was being made, so I tried to cancel it and the app told me to contact my runner...guess what? The runner had no record of my order and didn’t know what I was talking about and even called the app a MESS. I placed my order at 3:47 and I finally got a response that said my order is on the way at 7:25pm!!!!! I tried everything to cancel my order but favor’s text support is absolute trash and they don’t respond to any issues you have if you try to call the number they provide it tell you that favor does not receive calls. Absolute TRASHHHHH!!

Horrible Delivery and Customer Service. My issue with Favor initially began when an employee went to the wrong address and called me to complain that she was lost she began the conversation by raising her voice and threatening to take my food back to the restaurant if I did not come outside to meet her (I live on the second floor and am unable to travel down the stairs as I have been on bed rest for weeks). My order was incorrect and extremely late (she marked it as delivered when in fact I did not receive it for an additional half hour). Favor mandates that you leave a minimum $2 tip regardless of service and I immediately attempted to contact customer service to avoid this. I received a generic “Due to high demand, we were unable to assist you in a timely manner...” message and was not acknowledged until 10 hours later (once the order has closed and the money was received). The representative responded unprofessionally utilizing shorthand text completely ignored my many request for a phone call from a manger; stating that speaking via text was”faster”. Horrible customer experience.

Favor runner. As a runner, I wish there were some things that were more convenient such as getting paid whenever you want to and not having to wait 2 days for it to hit your account. Also, if a person would want to cancel you would still get paid something for going out of your way and wasting time trying to get that order. 3 kinda wish there was a way to already have the order ready for pick up once you receive the notification to pick it up, just so there’s less time on the customer waiting (usually sometimes up to an hour) and less time for a runner to have to wait for them to prep the meal especially when some places don’t let you order over the phone.

I’d love to support Favor but it’s become unusable. I’ve used Favor for a long time. I like it because it’s local and I feel like they do right by small businesses which is why I would LOVE for Favor to fix its usability issues. I understand that it’s a pandemic and times are hard, all the more reason to support the little guy, but recently you can’t even actually get your orders with this app and sometimes it takes well over an hour to realize your food isn’t coming and then you have to start all over on a different app. Favor, stop assigning placeholder runners and giving a false time estimate. Let your runners place orders before they arrive at the store. Don’t let runners get to the store only for the restaurant to say they are not accepting favor orders! Now that runner just wasted their time for free and there’s no way for me to even leave a tip. I’m really disappointed. Sometimes there’s no way for me to go pick up my own orders (placed with the business directly) and I really hate to give Uber money.

Customer service has gone downhill. I was a favor runner and dispatcher during the first months on launch in Austin. People used favor because of the ability to work with actual humans to resolve issues with their deliveries. Favor used to go above and beyond to resolve these issues but that is no longer the case. There have been a few times recently where a runner has messed up my order and favor did nothing meaningful to help. For example, ordering I ordered 2 of a certain meal with a drink and only received one meal with no drink. Not only did the runner not order the correct number of items, but they didn't even check the app to make sure the order was right. Favor gave me $6 of "delivery credit" which only applies to their delivery fee and nothing else. This is an issue because their delivery costs are already insane as it is, so no one in their right mind would order outside of the "$0 delivery" menu, maybe the $3 ones. Anyway, I reordered to get the other half of my dinner. They would not make an exception on the $6 credit to make it apply to the 2nd order, so I paid double service fees and double tip all because of their mistake. The place I ordered from had a $0 delivery fee already, so the credit is absolutely useless. This inability to help is why people tend to use UberEATS and door dash over favor.

Horrible experience. I just downloaded the app and used it for the first time today ! Where do I begin ?!?!?! I placed a order through the app and checked it periodically to see how my order was coming along ... I noticed the driver changed three times within an hour !! I waited another 15 mins or so for the update but nothing happened... I text the driver maybe 10 mins prior and no response! I then called he answered and told me he’s waiting on my food to finish cooking ... it had to be an hour & 15 mins since I placed my order and it was close to the restaurant closing . I asked the driver if he was really at the restaurant waiting and he insured me he was. I decided to call the restaurant to see what was going on with the order the the lady informed me I did not have a order placed through favor . She said the guy came in 5 mins prior and they told him he was too late to place the order ! They apologized and recommended a more reliable app to use in the future! I was in disbelief because the driver lied about the whole thing ... I tried to call and text him but he never replied !! If I could leave - stars I would !!!!

Okay. Not my favorite delivery app but they deliver later than UberEATS so I use it occasionally. I don't like that you don't know how much you'll be charged until the end (the other apps tell you before you send the order in), the delivery fees are more expensive, and if it's late they'll say the restaurant is "closing soon" but not how soon (within 30 minutes and there's a big chance your order will be cancelled and you'll be kept waiting.) Customer service is fine sometimes but terrible other times. I once had an issue where my driver had a problem and couldn't deliver so I had to wait an extra hour for someone else to deliver the food. It was sushi so by the time it arrived (from the restaurant to me took an hour and a half) it wasn't cold anymore. Contacted favor and all they did was refund the delivery fee for the food I couldn't and didn't eat.

RUN AWAY, worst service, time and money waste. I was surprised when I saw that Favor got 4.8 stars, until I actually read the reviews. For some reason people put negative reviews but with 5 star rate. I have been using Favor for a few months and it is by far the worst food app I’ve ever used. I am a very busy person and I have wasted so much time on incorrect orders with Favor. I kept using it despite the errors because they use to have an actual person you could talk to in order to resolve the issue. Recently, they appeared to have been tired of dealing with their terrible service and went to email/text for issues with orders and they take hours to respond. My last order that was incorrect, I didn’t even get a response. I just tried UBEREATS and I have realized that I’ve been putting up with crappy service for nothing; I wish I would have tried Ubereats months ago, they are light years ahead of Favor in customer service! If you want to waste time and money on a disregard for customer, then Favor is your app.

Favoring FAVOR!!. Love this app! I have so many other delivery apps for different restaurants and stores depending on where I am. Favor, however, is my favorite because of the variety of places they go! This isn’t just your typical UberEats or GrubHub...Yes, it costs a little more but I love the variety so it is definitely worth it. I only gave 4 Stars because I do think the runners could be a bit more friendly or at least smile. I haven’t had the app for long, but so far only 1 runner was actually pleasant. Customer service isn’t always easy and deliveries aren’t always fun, but facial expressions say a lot more to your customers than you think. We all have bad days eventually, but that interaction could be the deciding factor for a lot of customers. If you don’t have this app... Get It! Be patient! And make sure to say Thanks!

Fastest, most efficient. Sure everyone loves to complain about the delivery fee and the extra cost, but honestly this is the fastest delivery service and friendliest drivers. I like that they text you before and during the delivery to make sure you don't need anything else. I like that tipping is automatic...because let's be honest, when we are being lazy ordering delivery we are also, probably, cheap as hell. Ask any pizza delivery kid...they must make nothing in college town. College kids are the worst tippers. So now I can help the local economy a little more with a local driver and get my comfort foods when I'm sick, delicious food with I'm lazy, or something different to eat while stuck at work. It's a win in my book. And y'all? Get over the fees, it's not a big deal and sounds like y'all have a lot of first world problems.

Tried 7 times. It was a pretty horrible experience every time. There is no real timing. They are smart and don’t put when you order the food. So you do not know how long you are actually waiting. The usual case is almost 2 hours and I live in town. The last time I used them was the worst. I waited two hours and 15 minutes for the runner to tell me he wasn’t coming and to contact favor to cancel..... you can’t get in touch with one person at favor and everything else said to contact the runner. They took the 55 dollars out of my account after I had let several people know my food had not been delivered. Two days later someone contacted me from favor... then wasted hours of my day arguing about just returning my money... Horrible company that is not set up for success. Steer clear. I promise you do not want to go what I went through. All of the experiences where horrible but the last was insane. Made the order on Sunday. Never came, today is Friday I finally got my money back

Still waiting on my favor. So ordered from Favor at 9:38am. Text the favor driver to confirm she had my order, got a quick response. At this point everything is still all good. Fast forward and hour, text favor driver again asking what the eta was. Quick response again she picking it up in ten minutes. Again everything is still good. 20 minutes later I text again, while checking the favor app she has not updated anything. Then I get this text “I am in route no other runner wanted to run your order because of the wait time... there was a line out the door so your food took 1 hr to prepare.. Not my fault” . So the favor driver finally updates the app and shows she is here. I hit pay and go to my front door she is nowhere to be found. So I do not recommend the app. The Favor Driver are a bunch of thieves. So think twice about Favor!

Horrible Customer Support!. I just had the WORST experience with a delivery app today. We decided to order in some Mexican food from one of our favorite restaurants and we ordered 2 enchilada meals and 1 order of chips and queso. When it showed up, it was missing the chips and queso and the enchiladas were made incorrectly. I reached out to customer service and they refunded me $9 for the missing item. Still disappointed and craving queso, we placed the order again. This was a BIG mistake. This time we ordered one MEAL and one QUESO. We instead got 2 large quesos, 2 large salsas, and one SINGULAR enchilada. And my total was $19 before the delivery fee but the receipt in the bag said $18. I immediately contacted support and I have received NO RESPONSE and it has been over 30 minutes. I am sorry I wrote so much but this was a horrible experience. I have been charged nearly $50 altogether for food I didn’t want or was incorrect and mistakes that were not my fault and only gotten $9 and no response back. Deleting this app.

Good as long as they get order correct.. This app is good, as long as they get your order correct, but don’t expect it in a timely manner. If your order is incorrect, good luck on getting any help from customer support. Your food usually won’t arrive until an hour after it’s supposed to arrive. They think their runners deliver crazy high tips, which is comical when they can’t even get your order correct, deliver when they say they’re going to, or communicate to you about what’s going on. It took over a week for someone to get back to me on an incorrect order. Also, the runners want to keep your food until you pay (which is unnecessary because your card will be charged at midnight anyway) and your delivery time will get pushed further out, so you are kind of forced into leaving a good tip so your food isn’t contaminated before the deliver it. The only plus side of favor is they do offer restaurants that some of the other apps don’t.

Horrible no time time estimates not under an hour as stated. I ordered trying them out for their first two weeks. The platform stinks. Your order doesn’t come out into the restaurant until the driver drives to the restaurant and puts it in. Our first driver was great put it in a heating bag so the food was hot. Third order- We ordered pizza 14 minutes away took over an hour and 20 minutes and arrived cold and favor gave me $6.well not really have to order again- not happening!!! Wow! The same distance as first guy who delivered piping hot food!!!! I have used door dash many many times no problems! The second time I tried after 30 minutes said restaurant was closed?!?!( Door dash said it immediately! )The platform doesn’t tell you how long for delivery. Tried three times only once under an hour! Commercial says under an hour such a lie!!! Their customer service is like try us again we’re here- I don’t know for how much longer?!?! When I have to reheat the food that I overpaid for?!?! Why would I order a Starbucks with you that’s what you’re hoping I would do?

Pros and cons. A convenient service when you don’t feel like going out, or when you’re traveling and at a hotel with limited mobility. Over all I like it and use it often. However, there are regularly errors with the order, to the extent that I kind of accept that I’m rolling the dice when I order with favor. Also, I’ve noticed in bigger cities, sometime drivers will change 2 or 3 times before one of them finally fills the run, and it feels like the clock resets each time. I’ll end up waiting an hour, sometimes an hour and a half when this happens. Last gripe is that sometimes restaurants will be marked as temporarily closed when I know for a fact they are open. Not sure if this is on favor’s end or the restaurant’s.

Lots of room for improvement. My first couple of requests were seamless: fairly quick with friendly runners. But I’ve had a few odd issues and customer support failed to respond to my text messages. For some reason, all of my neighbors can get wine and beer but my app says “delivery is not available”. I also placed an order around 9:00 one evening and rather than get an automated message that the store I requested was closed, my delivery time kept getting longer and longer. I presume someone was driving the entire metro area looking for a Panda Express that was still open. I couldn’t contact the runner and cancelled the order but a charge appeared on my card. Lastly, I ordered a “special favor” and it took almost an hour for anyone to claim the order and it wouldn’t let me cancel in the meantime. The whole process took close to 2 hours! The restaurant isn’t a participant but it is less than 5 miles from my house. Hopefully, Favor can improve...

Being unable to contact a runner until a certain point in the favor is massively inconvenient.. Since the update where it prevents you from contacting your runner while they’re running the favor, I’ve had a lot of issues. I’ve run with favor before, and I’ve known plenty of runners. From what I’ve seen, most runners place the order while they’re still in the “running” phase. Most runners I’ve had don’t reach out via text, either. If you need to change your order but they’re running it, you have to wait until they get to the restaurant (and your order is usually already completed) to let them know, which means both you, the runner, and other customers have to wait longer, and the restaurant staff is inconvenienced. Please either 1) make it mandatory for runners to contact their customers or 2) make it possible for us to contact them. Not being able to contact them is just. Really crappy.

Scammy Food Service. The only good thing about this app is that you can almost request anything within a reasonable amount of miles and have it delivered. Other than that the app is a rip off. You get service charged twice. Once of the front end and unbeknownst to me on the back end once payment is completed as well (ranges anywhere from $6-$9). If the “Runner” doesn’t read your notes but you still received you incorrectly ordered food, customer service does not issue refunds. Many a times I’ve ordered things with requests due to allergy and I’ve lost money equally. Today the favor driver told me they didn’t know to look at my notes and after I called CS and sent over the messages I was still somehow at fault. Honestly, it isn’t worth it. I’ll continue with UberEats. Hope your experience is far better than mine.

Where’s the customer service?. We ordered through the restaurant’s app, and they use Favor for delivery. Our order took almost an hour to receive, items were missing, our food was cold, and my shake was melted. I contacted the driver and he said, “Call the restaurant or favor I only brought what I was given I do not look inside of your bags.” I contacted the store, and their cooperate office, but they couldn’t do anything about the driver because it’s a third party delivery. The driver was dismissive and gave no explanation on why it took so long to deliver. He didn’t answer when I asked if he had picked up our order; he only texted after he dropped it off. There is NO WAY to contact Favor’s customer service unless you order directly through them. I even saw online that orders were final, and there are no refunds given. How does that make sense? How do you not have a customer service number? I’ll never order anything else that uses Favor as a delivery option.

Please read might help. I’ve used this app a few times and twice I’ve had the driver eat off my food, and charged more items on my order than I had made, I had ordered Chick-fil-A and half of the fries were gone, there was a small child with the driver so I’m guessing the little one ate them or the mom don’t know, the second time I had made a 15$ order total and the driver that I met outside because I was coming home from a run, the guy that was with her clearly was eating and gave me the bag covered in shrimp seasoning and grease so I still took it, and found my receipt in the bag with a pound of shrimp also charged. You’ll say easy fix right? Nope it’ll take Favor 2-45 business days to contact you back. I’m over this app, I’ve tried many many times to be ok with this app but I’m done, I hope I don’t catch anything especially with the corona virus going on and the bag Covered in shrimp grease, because i WILL be suing the driver and the company. Ubereats gives you a closed and taped bag, and shows you what time and where they are located at all times.

The Last Straw. I have ordered from Favor multiple times, I can honestly say that I’ve only been pleased with my service once. Every other time the drivers were super sketchy and my food was cold/squished/dumped/missing. Once the ticket that the driver submitted didn’t even match the one that came with the order and I was missing items. Tonight I ordered Chick-fil-A from the app, only because Favor has the feature to write in what you want. (I needed the big nugget order) I ordered around 8:30, at 9 I get the notification to expect my order between 10-10:15. Now Chick-fil-A is a very short drive from my apartment, they shouldn’t need near that much time. But I wait anyway. It’s 10:20 and my app says the runner is still driving to the store, so I can’t contact them. Chick-fil-A closes at ten. What the heck is going on? I text customer service cause that’s all I can do, it takes twenty minutes for them to respond with this - “ Hi, this is Favor Care reaching out to let you know that we unfortunately weren't able to fulfill your order because that merchant is currently closed. Please feel free to place an order for a different merchant - we'd love to deliver to you today!” Like heck I’m going to place another order after I’ve waited two hours for the first one! From a fast food place, no less! I texted back and they have yet to respond. Garbage customer service. Don’t order from this app, we have so many more options now!

Not too shabby. Used favor for the first time on a Friday night. I did get the 6 premium delivery charge from favor but I kinda expected the charge giving it was dinner time on a busy night. I ordered my food and typed specifics for each order. I had a runner text me to let me know he would be getting my food order. He kept great communication and even double checked that I had ordered two of the same item. My food was delivered to my home in the time specified when I first ordered my meal. Everything was hot and fresh and my order was exact. I gave my runner a little more than what the ideal tip was when you first order your food. I wanted to be lazy this weekend and favor and my runner Jaxson came through for me. I will definitely use the favor service again.

I tied. I tied to give this service any credibility. I never leave reviews. This company is GARBAGE!! I’ve give favor so many chances and it’s proved over and over again how god awful of a company it is. I’ve ordered several times now with nothing right coming to me. Favor is trash. Use doordash, grubhub, or literally anyone else. Favor doesn’t do anything. I WISH I could give this company zero stars. It is awful! The past two times I’ve used it, I received an updated maybe 1-2 hours after placing it. The order itself Would show up 3-4 hours later! Unbelievably pathetic service. Customer service? What customer service? You want a refund? Too bad. Wait, I don’t know, 1-2 weeks for any response. This company does not care about any of its customers. I’ve paid $50-$60 for my past orders and they show up 3-4 hours after over ordered them; you know, when I’m asleep. Luckily the runners leave it on the ground outside (not like it’s worth it at that point). So in summary, if you want to order food 4 hours before you want to eat it, and have god awful service, use favor! 0/10 will NEVER use again 👍

Scam delivery app. I order a food from a restaurant, I noticed they reduced two times service fee, once in the restaurant receipt and once again in the app… which cause double service fee… after contacting customer service they first deny it… then when I sent the receipts they refund only 5$ for one order… and they telling me they don’t know where it’s coming from… in my opinion they clearly know and scam people in this way… and they didn’t refund me for the second time?!…. Horrible experience on delivery of my order today…. The driver can’t communicate in English and when he come to my door while I show my ID to his face and he can read it but he want to grab my id to his hand and didn’t give me my order while shouting on me in Spanish… then I contact support and they just said you won’t charge for this order?!! Horrible experience…. I ask support how you can guarantee if I pass over my ID to him he won’t take a picture from it and save it on his phone and used it for scam purposes they don’t have any answer

NEVER USE THIS APP. For my first favor I decided I would order some things from the gas station about a half a mile from me. First it immediately tells me a driver has accepted my order and is on the way the the store. Great. I put my phone down and check the status 10 minutes later and it’s a new driver. Weird. But I’ve worked for delivery services like this before. I understand sometimes people aren’t able to take it so they cancel. No big deal. I wait 15 minutes to check again. My driver still hasn’t made any progress. After 25 minutes my driver still had made no progress. Then finally after 35 minutes that driver is gone and I no longer have a driver running my order. I text the customer service line they tell you to text for ACTIVE orders. 5 minutes later a new driver pops up. Fast forward another HOUR LATER. The “live customer support” STILL hasn’t contacted me and my 3rd driver has STILL made NO PROGRESS. Please do not waste your time on this app. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

Delivery service. I was trying to order food at Panda Express for my mother, sister, and I after us working all day and having a break from cooking one night so we could relax. Mason M. texted us saying that some of our food we wanted they were out of so I was trying to find a solution to the problem. After I sent the message, he texted me saying that he canceled my order and that “I took too long to respond” and that he is “making no money waiting for me”. I completely understand that Mason was in a stressful position. Believe me, I work customer service, but I was never disrespectful or rude at all. I was trying to find a solution calmly for him to be stress free. I do work for customer service and I never and will never talk to any customer not person like that in any way. The app worked great and was easy, but they need to make sure their delivery service is capable to handle situations like that. I am not trying to be a “Karen”. It just sad that they hire people that treat customers so poorly.

Could be better. Why doesn’t favor allow customers to pay for orders before we runners get there, it would save so much time & sometimes we can’t even make an order for the customer because the line is so busy we have to wait in line and order in person which takes maybe 30 mins sometimes. Ok. So then I’m told a 45-50min wait after I make the order. I call the customer & ask them if that’s ok & then right after I get a call back from my local sushi store saying it’s actually going to be 1hr 30mins. I cancelled the order because I would be wasting out on plenty of money if I just waited in one spot for one order for that long. It’s not really favors fault my local sushi shop can’t handle their own but please put option for customers to already have ordered the food so we do not have to deal with that hassle.

Worst customer service ever.. Worst customer service of all time. It’s so unfortunate - someone built a great app but the business is terrible. At least 50% of the time, our order arrives incorrect. And it’s getting worse - now 75% of our orders arrive missing items or with incorrect items. And they NEVER pay attention to food allergies. This is the worse delivery service EVER if you have food allergies. The delivery people never read the notes. Once you get a bad order, all you can do is place a new order. There is no live customer service. Now even the app feature to contact the company via email or text has been disabled. Sometimes Favor will refund your delivery fee if they have to deliver your order twice but that’s if you can even get in contact with them. The longer I use favor, the worse the service gets. Do yourself a Favor, and don’t use this delivery service! They don’t care about their service or their customers. They have never taken a single step to correct their horrific service. Greedy company who has a great app but a garbage service and they could not care less! Stay away!

Really good, but room for improvement. Friendly, timely, & convenient. The only positive criticism I have to give is that Runners who are unfamiliar with non-chain restaurants, don’t look at the receipt and check that ALL items are present. They take a pic of the receipt but not of the actual items in the order, resulting in missing or flawed items. My suggestion to solve this problem is: require Runners to take a pic of the order and receipt prior to paying for and leaving for delivery. If I’m paying an extra fee for delivery and processing, then my order should be complete, every time. That prevents runner from delivering fully paid for but incomplete orders. Refunds are helpful and appreciated, but when you order food you want what you paid for and having to re-order or wait for a refund is a MAJOR pitfall.

Good, but. A few major flaws. For starters, it closes too early - flaw #1. And if you start an order before it “reopens” the app will continue to tell you that it, and the store, are closed long past the time when they have reopened, which means you have to delete your entire order - flaw #2. (Why would you want to make it more difficult for people to spend their money? Let them save their order for when it does reopen, rather than forcing the order, to be deleted, and continuing to repeat that the store is closed at 9:15 AM , when H-E-B opens at 6?) That is a huge pain in the keister, considering that order is often custom and written in due to serious limitations on the menu of items from which you can select - flaw #3. Otherwise it’s great.

Great App; But TERRIBLE Runner Match-Up System. The app is amazing, I won’t lie. And I got my first month entirely free of delivery. HOWEVER... the match-up for runners is AWFUL. I’ve been waiting over an hour for a single order from a gas station and been transferred between THREE different runners. Two of which never even responded or budged to do anything for the order. It SAYS they’re “running” and “on the road” but for HALF AN HOUR? No response? For MULTIPLE RUNNERS? For a place maybe like 10 minutes away? It’s faster AND cheaper for me to drive MYSELF and go. The runners I’ve had that ACTUALLY responded were super sweet. But I feel like the system needs to be adjusted where a runner NEEDS to accept the order before being assigned. Or do SOMETHING to check and make sure they’re ACTIVE. Maybe a pop up asking if they’re available to accept an order/active at the moment and if they don’t respond within 5 minutes then the pop up/order goes to the next available person.

Nice runners but too many issues. I gave it three stars because I have used the service several times and all the runners have been nice and done their best to give good service. However, the menus in the app are incomplete and the information given to the restaurant is useless in some cases. Example: I’ve ordered beef fried rice from 2 different Chinese restaurants and both times the restaurant received an order that said “1 x beef.” Restaurant then calls driver who then has to reach out to me. Constantly finding items on restaurants’ online menus that aren’t available in the app. Tonight, I ordered from a new Chinese place at 6:45 and the estimate was for a 7:30-7:45 but by the time we established I wanted beef fried rice with my order, it was almost 9:00 when food arrived and beef fried rice was still missing from the order. Text to support to get a refund for the missing item would not send. I will just pick up food myself rather than using this app in the future.

Really Helpful. We’ve been using Favor for years and have had them deliver all kinds of things, not just food. Favor also allows you to type in special instructions, whether for the items or delivery. Not every app has this option. The runners are typically very nice and professional. They do a good job, even with our very detailed orders. You can also text or call your runner at any point (like if you’ve forgotten something). The few times we’ve had minor issues (no one is perfect), customer service was very helpful. There is no “automatic tip” as other reviews have stated. On the screen where you submit your payment at the end of the order, there is an edit button next to the word “Tip.” (You can wait until you have received your order before paying and adjust their tip accordingly.)

Horrible Customer Service. You cannot speak with a live person. I told them my Driver could not speak English at all. He called me ranting and raving in Spanish, and I kept telling him I did not speak Spanish. When he finally arrived, he arrived with two small bags of chips and did not bring my sandwich. I tried to communicate he was missing my sandwich (which I never received). I texted Customer Service and asked for a full refund because I did not receive my food. When my text was finally addressed 12 hours later, they still charged me a $5 tip and delivery fee! I am livid but cannot get resolution. Favor used to be good, but now the customer service is terrible. There are too many other delivery apps available to use this one. I used to use them all the time, but I will never use them again!

FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS. Favor is literally the WORST service you could use to order food. They first pick up multiple orders at different restaurants miles & miles away, THEN they start delivering them, all so they could multiply the amount of tips they’ll receive. Nevermind the restaurant you’re ordering from being 1 block away, it doesn’t matter. They’ll pick up the order and drive 45 minutes away to deliver whoever was on their list first. Then FINALLY, they’ll drive allllll the way back to your neighborhood and deliver whatever you ordered. Food totally cold. This has happened 3 times. I’m unfortunately FORCED to use them because the restaurant I order from isn’t set up with Uber Eats yet. Oh and by the way, don’t even bother expecting any help from customer service representatives. They’re employed by 3rd party vendors who don’t care about their jobs & won’t care about your issue. All of these 5 star reviews are clearly receiving an incentive for reviewing them favorably, and they cannot be trusted. I urge everyone with these experiences to contact the Better Business Bureau and report them for how bad their service is.

Horrible !!!!!. I ordered from Favor and the runner stole fries from my order and I paid for fries. The receipt said I paid for fries. There were fries in the bag. Customer Service just passed it off as the restaurant forgot my fries. No they didn’t. There fries that fell in the bag because of them putting fries in the bag. They only refunded me for the fries, delivery fee, and part of my tip. He still got tipped $2. It’s a mandatory tip. They don’t give you the option to not tip. I was livid. If I order fries, I expect fries. My order took 45 minutes to get to me and I live less than 5 minutes away. I know they don’t take that’s long to make the food. So unprofessional all around. I don’t trust any of the runners anymore because of this. If one can steal from you, they all can. Had he just asked if I could get him something to eat, I would’ve bought him something. Now I can’t use the service anymore because of the abysmal customer service and the poor choice of runners. Also, CLEAN BACKGROUND CHECKS DO NOT MEAN GOOD PEOPLE!! It just means they’ve never been caught.
