Not user-friendly. is in Salem Massachusetts. This is the fourth visit and I’ve never had an easy time using this app. First of all the app never fully loads. When I try to go to the website on the Internet all I get are websites that have app installed and no further information. Finally I have to log into my Dentist Wi-Fi and with your Health I’m able to do this. I dig where it is while I’m doing all this I’ll get a ticket because I’m not paid for. I think this is a lousy out My dentist is in Salem Massachusetts. I’ve been here four times and I’ve never had an easy time with this app. First of all it never fully loads and I tried various ways of going online but all I get is a website that saysmy Dentist Wi-Fi with your Health medical to do this. There has to be an easier way

Much More Convenient Than the University’s Old System. It is much easier to pay with the Passport app than with the university’s old system. The app remembers the parking zone number, payment info, and the car’s make, model, and license plate. The only remaining info the driver has to enter is the time, and he can extend the time on the app without returning to the vehicle. With the old system, the driver had to remember the stall number from the car to the pay station, swipe, and enter stall number and time. He had to return to the vehicle to extend the time.

Cheap and convenient but not a great layout. This app makes parking incredibly convenient. It’s fast and easy once you get set up. My only gripes are they don’t tell you about the convenience fee for every transaction and they don’t make it easy to see how long you are paying for. I’m always in a hurry so I need things spelled out for me simply. I just had to pay 2 convenience fees because I didn’t realize I was only inputting 15 minutes into the meter. The convenience fees are pennies so this is a very trivial issue, but it would be nice to avoid them

Very Misleading APP. What this APP does for you is not much! You will find in the fine print of the Terms & Conditions a statement that says it does not reserve you a parking spot. No where else does it say that. It doesn’t find you parking! You have to know where the parking zones are. So what you get is a way to pay and a notice if your time is running out. Both can be easily done without this APP. Your phone has an alarm that you can set to notify you your time is running out. And there is a parking kiosk that you can pay at without having to put money in a meter! The developer should make it clear that you are not guaranteed a parking spot until you get there and find it yourself!! There should be a FAQ for this as well. I’m sure I was not the first person who wanted an answer to this question. They should make it clear that if you need a refund, you can’t get it through the APP!!!!! This APP is a waste of time and effort!!

Poor App, Poorer Support (TL;DR included). This poorly worded app tells ask you “Spaces:” which I took as purchasing multiple spaces, to which I selected 1. Come to find out it correlates to the number, which makes sense. Simple misunderstanding, I go to cancel/request a refund... but you can’t. Go to the FAQ, it will tell you to use the “Contact Us” option to submit a ticket. I make one explaining the situation. I wait 5+ hours stating they can’t do anything, contrary to their own Support documentation and tell me to reach out to the operator. Nice, you want me to ask for a refund 5 hours after purchasing a parking spot? Pretty smart stuff there. TL;DR, the added fees to use the app, poor support, poor documentation, and poor UI are enough reasons for me to wait in line for a kiosk for 5 minutes.

Extra charges. The app is a great idea, the developers need to work out the bugs tho.i payed with the meter then downloaded the app, entered my card information then charged me twice.i wanted to give it another chance the following week and I wanted to pay for the spot for 4 hours, it only let me pay for 3 then I picked a new session to add hours and it charged me the max time,so I had two different sessions going on at the same time!! I wrote numerous text to the contact/help center and no response! So I had to cancel charges with my credit card company. The developer of this app needs to prevent getting double charges for the same parking spot...

You still can be cited!. I use the app for the Pasadena, ca area. It seems like it’s a faster way, until you are cited for not having a receipt displayed on the dash. I contacted Passport Parking twice and they said I had to contact the issuing agency that cited me and there was nothing else they can do. Shouldn’t Passport and the city have a way of communicating with each other to take care of the problem immediately. If I call Passport they look it up and tell the city to dismiss it for us. Their moto is stress free parking. I don’t think so, when you know you can be cited. I had to file a protest with the city to review. After two weeks the $55 cited was dismissed. I will not take the chance again using Passport Parking and waste my time fight another cite. Just walk to the parking box get a receipt and be guaranteed no cite!

So Convenient!. Passport parking has been so convenient for 3 reasons. First one: when I’m running late, I can just park and pay as soon as I sit down in class or for work. Second: it’s been snowing in Denver and it’s nice that I don’t have to stand outside waiting at the pay station, especially if there is a line! Third: it’s safer for me. I get to school and work when it’s still dark out (6:30/7am) and nobody is around. I like that I don’t have to scramble for cash or for my card in the dark, alone. I do pay $0.30 more for using the app, but you really cannot put a price on convenience, warmth and safety! 😁

Option to cancel/end session early. There was a recent update in which they removed the option to end a parking session early. The faq now claims that “there is no reason to end a session,” but there is. What if I need to park but don’t know how long I will need, and I won’t have access to my phone to “extend” the parking period. This option was really important to me, and it’s just a scummy move, since I now have to pay more for each session since I have to give an estimate of how long I will be there, which is always slightly more than I need so that I don’t get ticketed. The app itself isn’t that great, it’s often slow and sometimes freezes, but it was bearable. Without the option to end sessions early I’m debating whether I will continue using this app at all.

Payments not Working; UPDATE. UPDATE: So i finally was told why my payments were working on the app and it was nothing on their end. I wish I was told sooner by other customer support agents why my payments were not going though. The app works fine for me, again. My payments aren’t working at all and haven’t worked for months. Every card i’ve tried hasn’t worked, although it charged ALL OF THEM. The app was working so well :((( I’ve contacted customer support so many times and they use the same copy and past answer instead of telling me saying their app doesn’t work.

Has personally costs me over 50$ in fines by not working this week alone.. I have a brand new iPhone 8 and this app has not been able to load once within the last month. I have tried all possibly fixes on my end (restarting my phone, making sure the app is up to date) and it still just won’t load.I will always use change if necessary from the constant spotty issues it has. When forced to park in an app only parking spot I basically have to park knowing I’ll accrue a fine. I’ve waited around to mention it to a meter maid and they seem to just say “yea lots of people are having problems with it.” But if you’re not there to tell them your problem you’ll just receive a ticket. If I’m being forced to use this stupid app please at least fix it to make sure it’s doing it’s only job because currently it doesn’t.

Dated and badly in need to updating. The app is showing its age. While once upon a time it was acceptable not to build-in location awareness, CarPlay functionality, or even calendar based reminders for folks who have commuter schedules the lack of these things are more painfully evident everytime it costs me money with a missed parking fee, slows me down fumbling with my phone when my CarPlay vehicle should have the app, or I have to dig out the snow from physical signage to determine zone that GPS would know... No doubt the sales team that got municipalities to adopt this app does not worry too much that a competitor with a better app will displace them but maybe the developers should just make the improvements out of pride or a desire to leave for greener pastures on a high note...

Charge increase as I hit the payment button and other issues.. The rate was shown, as usual, every time I use the app for the same meters and the same time zone. I hit the complete payment option and the amount jumped by 50% percent. I reached out to support multiple times, sent screen shots and confirmation as per their request. The last response I received was a query on how often this has happened. Since then, there has been no follow up. The latest update has been terrible in general. Aside from the random price jump, there is an up-charge for using an all day zone: if you park for 3 hours and come back 6 hours later to park in the same zone, there’s no reset, no lag time, if you have to pay extra to park in that zone again. I recommend carrying change and avoid using this app. ———————-UPDATE——————— There has been a request for me to update my review since I wrote the above and to email them for support. Went through that process again, with no actual support. Just a runaround and told to call 311 because they can’t help me at this time.

This app screwed everyone up in the Parking Lot. I went to Breckenridge Colorado and tried to park at 2:45. I use this app. It charged me $.50 for 15 minutes of parking! When I tried to add time I got a message stating “this zone is not currently available”. So I went to the parking machine and plugged in my card. This time I paid $.50 for 10 minutes. when I tried to extend my time I got a message stating “maximum time reached“. So I called the number on the parking machine and pro follow the prompts for people trying to use the Passport app. I was put on hold for about five minutes and then told no one is available to take your call and was hung up on. I tried it again with the same results. another customer in line behind me I had the exact same problem. I had to call the town council in Breckenridge Colorado. They informed me that parking is free after 3 PM. But the app just left to be confused and confounded! This is my first time, trying to use it, and it really sucked!

Bug they refuse to fix, leads to parking tickets. This is a simple app that for the most part works. Except they have a bug that is so core to it’s functionality and leads to you getting a parking ticket (which has happened to me) if you don’t compensate for it. Most frustratingly, I’ve spent a long time explaining it to them, sharing screenshots, describing how to easily reproduce it, and they keep just doing all sorts of diversions and refuse to acknowledge it or try to fix it. The bug is simple: There is a “max purchase” button that selects the max time for the parking lot. (It’s what everyone selects to park at the station for the day). But it fails to actually select max time if you click it in the first 1-2 seconds, there’s some internal lag where the functionality fails. However it still pops up the confirm message “you have reached the maximum time for this location”, even though it hasn’t. If you “believe” the pop up confirm and click through you actually only have the minimum time. Then you get a parking ticket. I’ve explained this in painstaking details multiple times to then with screenshots. All they do is reply with generic dialogue on checking local parking regulations. One even sent me the phone number of the local police department. It’s frustrating that our local government have given a monopoly to a company that isn’t interested in success in sole basic functionality they’re tasked with providing.

Stole my $ and blamed it on me. I paid for a parking session using this app. After my session was going I checked the app and realized my session didn’t appear to be active. I tried to re-pay for the parking spot but received a pop up about a lockout period for that particular spot. So I had to rush out of the building I was in and move my car. Later, I received an invoice for the spot so I contacted passport support for a refund. They told me it was my fault and that I shouldn’t have tried to pay for the spot twice. How was I supposed to know this when your app is telling me different? Then, the number they gave me to call for a refund was not a working number... Thanks to this app for ruining my morning the other day, blaming it on me, stealing my money, and wasting my time having me call out of service numbers. Get you act together passport!

How this app can be improved. • Change the session expiration sound to a more typical smartphone alert sound. We get it, it’s a parking app and the alert sounds like a car horn. It’s annoying. Even better, give us the ability to customize the alert sound to any of those available on our phones. • When the session expiration alert goes off (10-minutes before expiration) have both a Dismiss and a Snooze button. Sometimes we’re too busy when the first alert goes off to add time. It would be great to have a reminder occur at actual expiration, as well. • When the app knows that a parking area has a maximum time limit and that I’ve reached it, why still show me “Extend” button during my session – and at the end? It’s misleading. I think I can add more time but I can’t. Change that message “Max time reached” or something.

Does not work. I downloaded this app because it was advertised as an easy way to pay on the parking meter. I quickly discovered this app is unbelievably broken and unusable… 1) it kept asking for my zone number, which I input directly from the meter 3x to ensure no mistakes, but was told the zone number doesn’t exist. I finally put in the spot number instead, which it accepted and took me to the next screen despite asking for the zone number. 2) it told me to use my finger on a slider to increase or decrease the amount of time I wanted to pay for. There was literally no slider anywhere on the screen… just blank white space. 3) it told me the time my meter would expire in MST time zone, despite me being in PST, and also literally setting my State already in the app, along with allowing the app to track my location while using it, so it should at the very least know what time zone I’m in. At the end, I’d spent 5-10 min trying to brute force my way through this fantastically crappy app with no luck, so used Apple Pay on the meter instead. A true embarrassment of an app.

Please make zones smaller. There are 2 problems I would love it you could fix, one, in Cambridge MA the zones are huge. On street cleaning days I have to park in metered parking. With quarters I could move my car from one block to the next for 2 hours at a time. The passport zone stretches so many blocks and doesn’t let me park twice in that zone. Very frustrating. Two, the other day the app wouldn’t let me pay for parking saying “zone unavailable” when I was parking first time in a spot in that zone with no signs saying I couldn’t. I like the convenience of using an app instead of quarters, but I would love if you could make parking zones a bit smaller. Thank you!

Works as expected with no issues. That says it all. It does what it’s supposed to do, and I haven’t had any issues. It even lets you put in multiple cars and cards and saves the information as well as the lots you park in (up to 3), so if you don’t always park in the same one it’s convenient. I frequently park then forget to pay while I’m with my car so like, 5 minutes later I remember but of course I’m not by the lot or my car so it’s nice to have that info already saved in the app.

ios 16 search feature. When searching “Parking” or “park” in the search box for the iphone files/apps/web search tool in the UI of the home screen, the Passport app does not show up at all. I have to specify by adding the term “app” or somehow else indicating to show all parking apps for this one to show up. Park mobile is the only parking app I have downloaded that shows as a “top hit” when using those search terms, park or parking. Just thought developers might want to know to add those keywords to whatever list of related words that the home screen search tool uses to generate results.

Misleading /overcharging and no customer service. I went to Brookline mass for a doctors appointment and download the app so that I could pay for my parking. Somehow it thought that I wanted a prepaid wallet and charged me $20 and then on top of that charged me for the parking time. Then when I went for lunch and parked in a different meter it charged me again. It never deducted the two charges from the $20,But instead it took out more money from my bank! When I tried to call there was no phone number and so I clicked the support button to get a chat agent . There was an automated message saying that there is currently a high volume so it will be a long wait time and to note that this was not a live response. I waited anyway and just kept my phone open for over an hour and I never heard from anyone.

New interface. I love the Passport app, but much prefer the older interface, because using it for stays of more than a few hours (either when establishing a session or reviewing when the session expires) is not a simple matter. The new interface seems better suiting for parking in a city for a few hours than parking in a train station parking lot for several days or a week. I would prefer to select the number of days, not push a ruler until I get at a cost that corresponds to an estimated number of days. Is there an option to make the interface “less intuitive”?

Convenient yet inconvenient. Make no mistake, the parking authorities are the true "users" of this app. It is not designed with the parking customer in mind. The app is convenient in that it allows you to pay for a longer period than a meter will allow. However, the app is prone to failure - declaring that a particular zone is unavailable despite obvious free spaces - and provides no helpful information or recourse in such cases. One such case is parking earlier than payment is required. I parked at 7:55am and had to sit in my car for 5 minutes, waiting for the app to allow me to pay. (Payment is only required 8am - 6pm). It did not, of course, inform me why the zone was unavailable or allow me to go ahead and pay.

App to scam $. This app is designed to scam customers for the first time use, at least. Why would it default to a 8 hours Max to scam $25? Why can't it leave it as 0 hour and force users to select the hours? What is the purpose of having the "Max 8 hours" button twice as big compare to "Stay" button? And why "Stay"? Can it be like "Select Hours"? If it is not intended to scam and what is the purpose? I parked 1 hour and had to pay 8 hours. Even I called the service right at the parking spot and no refund and no justice served. The guy said that how the app worked. You booked you're death. I thought max is 8 hours so you start your time and end your time and pay the duration when your done, just like you regularly park anywhere. I'm an app developer guy and got trapped, think about old folks with no tech skills. Change your app with my free consultation. May others forgive your sin???!!! It is not the $25, it is the feeling of being scammed.

Definite scam app. I was in a Richmond VA parking lot yesterday and on every poll had a sign for this app so I figured if here it must be part of the lot. It was a pay yourself at kiosk lot. I downloaded the app and setup account. It didn’t give me a lot of options and I was told to pick a zone which only gave me a single option for a zone and I was told to give the parking spot number. I finalized and at that time i was told the zone I was in was for Nebraska. So I am in VA parking in a zone in NE. I then clocked a button with a head shearing a headset assuming g that would take me to customer service and to my surprise it took me to the page showing me what I paid. I clicked through the menu and with the exception of the faq everything took me to the total paid page. In FAQ section they have listed in response to someone’s question about cancelling and they respond with letting the time run out. This is lovely. They give no option to fix or stop this. How are they allowed to have an app like this that steals money. I’m disputing today with my CC

App Stopped Working; Update: Fixed Next Day. Update: The developer reached out here and Customer Service (CS) also responded to my query. CS was very friendly, but the email process is slow and did not give a quick result. This is a new day and the app seems to have reset, which may be thanks to efforts by CS - I can’t tell. I appreciate the sincere efforts to help. Please correct the in-app warning: resetting the PIN deletes the credit card but NOT the entire profile. The app forced me to reset my PIN and trying to avoid losing all of my information when I knew my PIN was entered correctly started this entire situation. In the end I kept my same PIN; I think this was just a way to obtain a new agreement to the terms and conditions. Please also create a faster support method, to enable users to avoid parking tickets due to app malfunction. The app is great when it works and usually works flawlessly. Rating updated to 4 stars to reflect this plus the friendly CS; one star off for this experience, the slow support process and the parking ticket consequences that may result. Original Review: This app has been a great convenience but today it suddenly required recertification and then refused to accept my PIN. I can’t reach my car so I will probably get a ticket. No response from Customer Service. This must be an update issue and hope it will be fixed ASAP.

No notification.. The app lets you only pay a certain amount of time for my meter parking. 2 hrs max which im already annoyed I have to wait and download a whole app to pay my meter and then make an account and put my card info instead of a quick swipe. My time ran out and the app had no notification setting i went to increase and add time and when I came back I got a whopping $60 ticket on my car with a time stamp of 2 mins after my app thing expired. Don’t go to Pasadena! The cops there wait to ticket! Also they tricked me and had a $10 voucher which I thought was a promotional coupon, I clicked it thinking I got a $10 off but it immediately charged me $10 giftcard without even having the “are you sure?” pop up. Their help service was not helpful at all so now I am out like $80 for paying for their meter giftcard and the ticket! Scam!

Only works half of the time or less.. My city uses Passport Parking for a lot of its street parking payment. I, and several others I know, consistently run into problems with this app. App has to be restarted several times before it will allow payment to be processed. Other times, deleting credit card info and re-entering it will work. On my husband’s account, he purchased $10 of credit and yet it won’t allow him to use it. Gave two stars because when the app works, it’s great. It’s just extremely unreliable, as you never know if the app is just going to not work (which is a lot of the time), and then you better hope you have quarters for the parking meter!

Generally good but with an annoying time bug. The app works for me, mostly does what it says it will do, and is certainly easier than carrying around a lot of quarters. It does come with one annoying bug that the company is refusing to acknowledge: no matter how quickly you enter the information, you will never get the full amount of time on the timer. I understand their rationale for knocking off a few seconds (you pay from the time you start deciding how long to stay), although I don’t like it, but frequently, including twice in the last two days, I have been given a full minute less time than I paid for. Either that, or the timer has been incorrect. One way or another, there is a bug that I have been unable to convince the company exists.

Hate with a passion. I hate this app with a passion and can’t wait for a competitor with better quality control and UX design team to replace it. It gets broke when there are upgrades. It errors out with meaningless errors. And whomever is responsible for end user use cases and process flows seems can’t seem to understand is that if this app fails while you’re on your way to work … what are you supposed to do? Wait for the next train that comes after you call their useless support team to trouble shoot? Stand in a public place constantly re-entering payment information? Or take a $25 hit from a parking ticket because they can’t get it together and just don’t care?? (And, because by the time you’ve finished fighting the app you’re either already on the train or don’t have time to go back to complete the manual pay process.) How many days can you tolerate that before you abandon the train stop you’re at in favor of any other option? When this app fails, Passport Parking should reimburse for the parking ticket. Period.

Simply not the best parking app. I’ve stayed in multiple states, towns etc and typically use parkmobile which is so much easier to understand but of course my small town of growing up must different and use this this app for its two street downtown parking. There is always an issue using this app and this time its a payment error after trying to extend time after it only let me do 15 min max parking. I dont know how simple an algorithm needs to be to accept apple pay but clearly this app needs better configuration if it cant do that. Even when I’ve had my car parked on the app I’ve still had warnings put on my car, this app is inferior and a joke.

Latest Updates. Overall the app has been convenient and presents no issues. I do have the following three comments: Like other users, it would be helpful if I could put in time against a meter spot at least 1/2 hour earlier then when meters start. For example, my gym opens at 7:30 am, yet meter starts at 8:00 am. I realize I can do it remotely, however it is not always convenient having to remember to pull phone out wherever I am at 8:00 am to put in time, location and payment. Secondly, I am not a huge fan of the intuitive upgrade? It seems more complicated and I preferred the simplicity of scrolling and picking the time needed. Lastly, Light Grey font on a White background is very hard to see when out in the daylight, especially on a sunny day. I have to shade the phone in order to see the screen; with the new update. Please provide better contrast in fonts and backgrounds. The version before this latest update was easier to read.

Warning: no Apple Pay or Apple wallet support because...reasons?. In this day and age, if an app cannot use my Apple wallet or Apple Pay or charge me through iTunes, I argue that the app is extremely dated. After all, I can go to almost any store or restaurant and pay using Apple Pay, all my apps that don’t charge through iTunes charge through Apple Pay, in short, you can use the Apple Pay platform most places. Thus, when an app doesn’t access my wallet or use Apple Pay, it appears dated and stuck in the past. Much of the convenience of the app (install and quickly pay) is negated by this over sight. This is one such app. Considering I ran out the door without my credit card and needed to catch a train, it was far less than convenient and, in my opinion, an app whose purpose (convenience to the consumer in order to increase compliance) is negated.

Cannot use saved payment info, no PayPal or Apple Pay. The app won’t use saved credit cards for payment. When I try to reserve a spot, the only option for paying is to set up a new payment method, and it will not allow you to input your card details if your payment method is already saved. It seems the only way to pay is to delete your credit card from your account, and then manually input the credit card number every time you want to reserve a spot. I was in a rush recently and didn’t have time to manually input my credit card info, and I ended up getting a parking ticket because of this bug. Also, I would much prefer if the app had the option to use PayPal and/or Apple Pay rather than having to give out my credit card information directly.

App freezes - doesn't work. I followed other user’s instructions, deleted the app and reloaded after the version upgrade and it’s worked fine since. It’s a little clickie in the payment area and too easy to click the all-day default option, but otherwise a good app. Thanks for the fixes. ———————- This app worked once, just after I downloaded it the first time, but has not worked since. When I try to open it, it freezes and never opens. I've tried closing the app, rebooting my phone, deleting the app & re-downloading, but to no avail. It freezes as it's opening and has to be closed just to get it to go away. I always end up paying at the meter. I've had the same experience with the app dozens of times and am taking my complaints to the City of St Paul and recommending they switch to the app Minneapolis uses, Parkmobile, as it's much more reliable. I've success used Parkmobile hundreds of times with no issue.

Works great for cops and parkers! :-/. See review by Korupted. Pros: better than fishing for quarters, plus it’s a nice stable app. No technical complaints. Cons: nice convenient way for the local constabulary to monitor parking and jump on the meter 1min after your time is up. Be aware that a lot of meters/spaces are also monitored remotely so they DO know that the car hasn’t moved from the spot—without so much as getting out of the meter maid mobile. Big brother monitoring of parking may be an overall civic good, but parkers should be aware that using this app means being rigorously on top of your meter time.

I’m in Michigan. It parked me in Rhode Island.. The part where it asked me for my zone, then my parking space was confusing and not clear enough at all. I’m in UX—this app does a bad job with clarity and keeping the user informed via feedback to their actions. I had no idea I was paying for a spot in Rhode Island until it was done. When I went to the icon with the headset in the upper right corner, I assumed, rightly so, that it would take me to Help or Contact. It merely let me know I’d paid. What? That makes no sense. I checked the sidebar, the same icon was there. I clicked it. It took me to a page with 2 options: an FAQ, and sending a bug report. The FAQ said to contact support for wrong parking spaces. There was no indication where this support was. I scoured the app—no phone number, no email, no chat support, nothing. No way to talk to a human. I ended up sending a bug report, which is ridiculous. I’m now paying for a spot in Providence, Rhode Island, which, by the way, auto-set the duration for me, so I didn’t even get a screen asking me how long I’d like to park. Just: would you like to park? Yes? Okay the time has been set and you’ve already paid now. Thanks.

Horrible app, please stop using it Brookline. Horrible parking app compared to the one used by the neighboring towns. Firstly it doesn’t have the ability to save or remember the same two streets I always park on. The map doesn’t display or load half the time. There was a problem with my credit card (even though it worked at a store 2 mins later) but it wouldn’t let me enter a new card. Why not? Well apparently that credit card number was already entered, so I can’t enter it again. Makes sense. Let me delete that card then. “An error occurred”. Okay I’ll just delete the numbers. “Invalid number”. Let me pay? “There was a problem with your card”. No there isn’t, there’s a problem with your app.

Still got parking ticket. I paid for my parking via this app and still received a parking ticket during my paid time. I entered all info correctly and paid he parking appropriately. It was a regular space with no restrictions. Now I have an outstanding parking ticket that neither this app nor the city care to rectify even though I have proof of valid payment at the time of the citation. So now I have to go through the lengthy process of contesting it with the city. The app is no help in this regard and does not give you an option to report such matters. In the fine print it also tells you it is not responsible for any tickets you receive even if the app is functioning properly and says you paid LOL. Maybe don’t release this app unless you’ve actually worked the system out with parking enforcement beforehand?

Totally Recommend!. This app is very handy for those who live/work in a city; especially one that has a strict parking policy. Being able to replenish your parking time from your mobile device changes the game, and gives you more control. Weather you are stuck at work, or on a date, or just want to sleep in an extra hour ( if that’s even possible for us busy folk) then this app is right for you. There is a small convenience fee for each transaction, however, this a small price to pay for the alternative of getting soaked in the rain. Happy parking.

OK…But Don’t Pay For Short-Stay!. A Parking App is great for obvious conveniences But… I quickly downloaded this one to use for what’ll be a regular quick stop for me, but never a long one, so I’m unlikely to use it again…unless I’m quarterless, and here’s why… - I only needed 15 minutes & 20 mins cost 25cents so I hit “select 20mins” & submit. Then juuusst as it was accepting the payment & closing the screen(too late to stop) I caught a quick glimpse of the 40cent transaction fee added along w/the 25cents for my 20 minutes! Boom…65cents for 20 minutes, lol. I saw no clearly visible mention of a 40c fee per transaction in the App’s description on the AppStore(I looked for any mention of prices), or I would’ve just popped in a quarter, lol - I have another App for Center City Philly, it has no trans fee so I wasn’t expecting one here - I wonder if it hits you for another 40cents if you add $ to the meter, or is it just a one-timer(?). If it’s the former you’re better off using up your quarters, if the latter then you’ll want to stay awhile to get your money’s worth!

Actually a zero star rating but there's no option for that. Used app yesterday and it would't accept payment from any of my credit cards OR Apple Pay even though all card info was current with ample funds in each one to cover the meter cost. I used the correct zone and the correct parking space number. I continued to try repeatedly to use the app but ultimately had to stop because I was at that parking space due to an emergency that I needed to tend to. When I returned to my car I had a parking citation. This app is trash. I've reached out to Passport -- there was no explaination about why the app didn't work --Passport just expained how the app SHOULD WORK. I cannot trust that if there is another crucial situation that this parking app will fail to work again and I will end up paying $25 again for a parking citation. It is very unfortunate that this app is the only app option for this area.

Better way to pay ... sometimes. First off, this is a big improvement over having to run out to the meter and deposit coins every time the meter times out...but this depends on your phone having a good signal, of course. This becomes a big issue when you have to park a long distance away from where you work and the meters time out every two hours. While it’s true that the app won’t allow you to add time the way you can when you deposit coins, it is easy to start a new session. The only drawback is that you will lose any time remaining on your current session if you start a new one before the old one expires; however, I suspect that is prefferable to paying a large fine if you try to wait and mis-time it. I really do hope that this app is expanded to include adding time to a session. With that one change I would give it a rating of five.

Unexplained Charges. My last bank statement showed two charges from Passport for $74 and $86 dollars respectively. I have exchanged email with Passport over nearly two weeks and with two different customer service (I use that term guardedly) representatives. Neither can tell me anything about the charges other than that they are “probably” parking tickets, but that they cannot “locate the source of the charges in their system.” So, they’ve collected $160 dollars, cannot explain why or for whom they did so, and they have now simply said it isn’t their problem. I’ve had no tickets placed on the car I use Passport in conjunction with, I received no notice from any town that they ticketed the car, so the money has apparently vanished into the Passport bank account. Anyone thinking of using this app ought to ask him or herself what stops Passport from randomly and without any cause adding charges to accounts given this approach. And, if charges ever did result from a ticket, how a user would know they have been paid, when Passport cannot trace money they have collected, but about which they have no further information.

My first and last time using this app. A brutal digital experience. A few suggestions for the devs: (1) When a session is about to expire, give me the number of my last parking space and ask if I would like to extend my time in the current space instead of asking me to start over and remember the space number. (2) If I want to pay for someone’s parking after I have have paid for my own spot, don’t give me an alert that says “Invalid Number” when it’s not an invalid number, just tell me I can’t open a new session once I’ve started my first session, or let people open more than one session since you provide the option to do so. (3) Allow the users device to use geo location instead of force them to walk down the block searching for a sign that may or may not contain the arbitrary zone number assigned to the area the parking spot is located, you’ll likely have way fewer customer complaints and more completed sessions.

IMPORTANT!!. I got this app two months ago. Used it for a two dollar parking and then never used it again. Two weeks later I found two separate charges of 27.7$/each on my Bank of America account(this is the one that I linked to the app) under the Passport Parking app name. I disputed each of them and got my money back. Afterwards I changed the primary account to a Citi Bank card. Today I went over the statement and I found yet another two charges of the same amount + a third one of 67$ finalized on 4th of June. I mention that I never used the app again since the initial issues. Now, I suggest developers to look into this as soon as possible and EVERYONE that already uses it to check their bank statements from the time they first got the app. The charges that show up on the bank statements aren’t listed in the app under the “Parker History”

Not storing CC and customer service can’t help. I have messaged for support multiple times as after years the screen suddenly did not offer me a choice of my cc on file. When I try to add a new card it says it is already on file. I have tried logging out and logging in again, deleting the app turning off the phone and then reinstalling. I am able to login on a browser and see my cards but the customer service will not correct or investigate to help me fix this issue. It is extremely frustrating to be told it isn’t there issue when I have not had an issue with the card at all! They need to have the tech staff look for the issue. Payment cards on file in account are not appearing this has been happening since early May!

Still not fixed!. It’s been months and months of bad reviews telling you that the app just freezes on opening and requires being deleted and reinstalled to work every single time! You’ve done nothing to fix it! It’s less work to pay at the machine! It’s really inexcusable that it’s still doing this. I had an iPhone 6S and just got a brand new iPhone X and it’s the same thing on both. My brother is an app developer working for a large national company and he would lose his job if he ever put out such a shabby product without a fix for many months. Update: THEY STILL HAVEN’T GOTTEN OFF THEIR LAZY BUTTS TO FIX THE APP. CONTACT YOUR CITY AND ASK THEM TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO HANDLE THEIR METERS. OTHER COMPANIES DO A BETTER JOB. Update: No change at all despite knowing of the issues for over a year. I still have to delete and reinstall the app every time I use it unless I’ve used it very recently.

Convenient. I’m self-employed and going back to college at an older age. I travel for my business and have to frequently use public parking. Most of the places in the area I service use pay stations. My college also has pay stations but also offers the option to use this app to pay for the parking. I love the convenience of paying for my parking in the app: getting to pick the length of time, alerts for when you’re running close to the end of the meter, and also not having to get out of my car to find a pay station then return to my car to put the paid ticket in the window. I park, plug in my zone, pick my hours, and I’m off to class with no problems.

App does not work in Montreal. App was updated for Montreal and it did not work for parking defined by letters and numbers ex: rd271

So easy to use. Very easy to use, with useful features like countdown timer till your spot expires.

Don’t use unless you want a parking ticket. The app will state that you have completed the transaction and not inform you if your card declined or not until later. This resulted in a parking ticket which I then was on the phone with Joe from customer service who openly admitted the app malfunctions. I asked for that in writing since he stated that three times in our conversation and he failed to deliver an email stating the apps malfunction as promised. Just pay at the meter!!! It’s not worth the headache and the waste of time!

Doesn’t work properly most days. App doesn’t work all the time - super inconvenient if you’re relying upon it to pay for parking remotely, I’ve had 3 tickets since using this app.

Inutile. De Floride .Ne fonctionne qu’avec une carte de crédit tirée d’une banque américaine ....

convenience fee? seriously?. the convenience fee should be covered by government or business for whom you provide the service, not customers! it is parking lot owner who benefit from modern payment system. they save money on support and on maintenance of those old coin driven meters. the fact the you charging customers a fee, tells me that you are just a middle-men schmuck, who was able to make a let-us-add-another-payment-option-to-your-parking-lot-for-free deal. it is much easier to get in bed with whoever when your plan is to tax their customers, is not it? but guess what? i am not doing this and your app is going straight to the garbage bin.

Useless. Doesn’t accept the payments. I face this many times. It’s useless

Disappointing App - lacks basic functionality. This is the first parking app I’ve used that cannot provide you with a map of parking zones nearby a location. Of course, this means the app does not provide you with the zone numbers either. Very inconvenient. Even the auto responses to the support function have typos. Generally lacking what might be considered the most basic functions of an app. Other than the convenience of not needing to use a card or change, not sure what this app thinks it’s offering (and that convenience isn’t even convenient for me).

Buggy. Does not accept credit cards and adds a convenience fee at the end they don’t tell you about. Other parking apps are better.

Room for Improvement. I do like the convenience but I feel that $.15 each time is too much.

Didn't work. Second time using this and it didn't work. We definitely had the correct meter number (and the correct app). Stood there for 3 minutes in the freezing weather waiting and waiting for the meter to update but never did. Had to dig out coins for the meter. Can't see myself trusting this app in the future. This time, I'm only out $1.15 but what if it was more. No thanks.

Convenient and Easy to Use. Using the Passport App is free, easy to set up and saves me from overestimating my parking time on the high side. Now, I can estimate the time I need to park on the low side, remotely monitor how much time I have left or add additional time, if required. It also saves me from having to maintain a supply of coin to feed the meter. I find it great to use.

goid so far. I only used it once so far but it seemed to work. I only wish municipality’s could get on the same page. Alot of parking apps out there.....

Bit annoyed. App works great very easy to use but annoyed that it charges an additional fee each time you use it. Don’t think I’ll use it again

Hamilton Ontario. I think Hamilton can shut the app down so the can still ticket you

Works ok. Seems to work so far, had an issue this morning with it not opening though.

Great App. Couldn't live without it!👍🏻

Terribly glitchy. Won’t accept my card. But Hangtag and PayByPhone app will. So your app is wrong.

Rip off. Every time I add time I lose 10 minutes every time

Great - convenient !. Just what I needed - never any change !

Not great. Not sure what a good review will do because you have to use the parking app to pay for the parking. However unlike other parking apps it doesn’t give you a location and the park till time thing is hard to use it’s not easy just to put in when you want to finish parking. There are definitely better parking apps out there

No more hunting for coins. Once it's set, so easy!

Poor experience. Got to a city meter. The meter won’t accept tap and I don’t have my credit card with me. I can’t use one of the four other parking apps I have so I need to use this one. It turns out I had the app installed. But it wanted a PIN. I couldn’t guess my PIN. That’s on me. So I had to reset it. This means now I must enter my credit card details all over again. I don’t have my credit card. Which is why I need this app. It’s a circle. This would NOT be a problem if this app had the basic functionality to let iOS fill in my credit card details. It does not. So here I am stuck at the hospital, unable to see my sick dad unless I care to get a ticket or towed. One star.

Not the best. Not like the other parking app, this app only allows you pay hourly. If I can I’ll avoid using it in the future. Nowadays even the meter beside the street can let you pay minutely. Why an app can’t? Beside this app charges more.

Annoying. Half the time the payment doesn’t process and would it really be so difficult to include a GPS feature to select the zone you’re in??

9.2.2 Latest 👀. Following all advice of support, log out and in, delete app and reinstall etc. I am still unable to load a wallet amount with out getting kicked out. What was once a convenient way to pay, albeit a 15cent surcharge and only being allowed to load $5 at a time, ensuring that charge at least twice a day due to limited hours allowed to be paid at a time, is now a complete headache. Just going to go to the bank. Weirdly it’ll be less of headache.

Got a parking ticket even tho I paid with app. Did get a parking ticket even tho I paid $7 to park

Not very good. Should take lessons from Timmins hortons app. Takes far too much time and trouble to complete.

It takes the headache out of paid parking. Nobody likes paying for parking but this app works great and it makes paying for parking very convenient. I love the idea that you can extend your time without having to go out to your car.

Wont let me pay. I have to erase and redo my cc every time as it doesn’t recognize it as saved card-so annoying

Nice App. Very easy and fun to use.

Where’s the auto-renew?. So this thing takes our money, then charges a ‘convenience fee’ EACH time you ‘start a new session’(which means if you renew your time) Ridiculous!

Horrible Update. The new update is total garbage. Dont download unless you absolutely need to. Just pay at the machine/meter. Interface so brutal for nothing. Also it makes no sense that you cant pay in advance

Great app. Happy to pay the convenience fee to avoid trying to find change. This is an excellent idea!

Works flawlessly. Use it all the time

Fantastic!!. We were vacationing in Newport, Rhode Island, this week. I downloaded the app, followed the very simple instructions, slid the slider to how much time I wanted, added to it later after we got the time’s almost up alert, and then paid with Apple Pay. Couldn’t believe how simple and effective this app is. Well done.

It’s ok but I got a ticket when I used the app. I assumed he made a mistake but then I got another one in the mail and they wouldn’t do anything about it

Useless. Can’t get this to work for Canada cell phone. Useless.

Was happy. Not anymore. I have been using this app for a long time and it was great. Until they just completed the update. I went to use the app and all my info disappeared and I keep getting a network error. Not having any change, I am going to end of with a $12 parking ticket. I am so not impressed!

Works but at a price. Every town charge their own “convenience fee” 35cents on top of what it cost for parking and every transaction you get hit. Even to add time ! I think we pay enough asit is. Also the timer starts as soon as you open the app. So you havent paid yet and the clock is already ticking . My forst time took me 5 minutes to figure it out then realized i needed to add time as i wasted most of it figuring it out well guess what i paid both tomes the 35 cents

Thanks for stealing even more of my money. I can’t believe a .15 cent fee is charged for paying for parking. I give $30 a week to park and then in order to be able to do it from my phone I have to pay more?? Get with the times. Ridiculous

No support whatsoever. Warning: be very careful when setting up your account. You ignore that little “flag” setting at your peril. I wrongly set up a US account. After I deactivated that it would not accept a Canadian amount for me. My requests for assistance were ignored. The company has nothing but a mailing list “funnel” that sends out automated replies (with fake sender names to make these “replies” look human). I guess I’ll never be able to use this app.

Great revenue generator for the City. Allows Bylaw to monitor your parking down to the second and ticket you as soon as they can. 1 minute over = 25$ parking ticket (and I bet it took an minute to write the ticket)

Payment methods do not work. I have used this app a lot last year, but recently stopped working when you try to pay 👎

😩. Ça ne fonctionne pas du tout à mtl je ne peux pas payer une place ???

Never works. Pay with the app and still get tickets. The parking enforcement says they aren’t able to see payment so I have to waste my time and get someone to call me and have to send in my receipts to get it reversed. Not worth it. Pay at the meter.

Best App Ever. Passport is the most convenient and useful app I’ve ever downloaded. Paying for parking is unbelievably easy and takes less than 30 seconds. I’ll never get a parking ticket again!!! I absolutely hate spending time at the slow, annoying meters and passport takes all of that away. It’s easy, beyond helpful and to top it off- affordable. If you pay for parking and aren’t using passport, you’re not living your best life.

Faulty. Very frequently the authentication for payment times out even though this application forces me to have a wallet and to keep money in the wallet, And then link a credit card so they keep that on file to fund the dedicated wallet There are cities around us that use competing products that let any parking charge you have go directly to your Apple card for example where you don’t have to keep stocking a wallet with what are essentially dead funds ijust sitting there. Really dislike how slow this all functions even when I’m in a city centre presumably close to a Wi-Fi station.

This app is crooked. I had no reception when parking and could not download the app. So I immediately downloaded it when I got home. There was no option to retroactively pay and no number for customer service. I gave them my email and they still haven’t responded. I saw that if you don’t pay it’s almost 80 dollars for the fine. Making me download an app in an area with no reception and charging me 80$ for not paying immediately and giving me no response or customer service phone number to reach out to and explain myself is MESSED UP! How does this have good reviews?

Best to pay cash.. App kept randomly rejecting my payment (with no valid reason) after I’d left my car in parking spot in Worcester, MA. I noticed if you get a 30minute amount of time it goes through but if you extend the time then I rejects me. Last time it rejected me I put in for an hour so I cancelled the session and left to shop somewhere else. This time I was charged $1.70 anyway. Tried to get a refund from gopassport but got the most infuriating run around. Adjent just kept repeating the receipt and never listened or seemed to understand my complaint. I even sent a screengrab of the payment reject Nothing.

Great app but change logo back. I recently saw they updated the app and they changed the logo to just say passport. When I opened it up, it asked to confirm my email. I was really confused what this app was, since it used to say passport parking. I figured I maybe have downloaded a passport app to use for travel in the past, I almost deleted the app which would have been terrible cause I have credits on my account and sometimes I’m in a rush to park and pay.

Broken app icon badge and account login!!!. Ever since the last update, this app icon has been stuck with an angry red badge “1”. I’ve searched through every section of the app to find whatever notification is apparently pending, but there’s nothing in there. I even tried removing the app from my phone entirely and then reinstalling. Same issue. But now it’s even worse because I lost my parking history. I guess the account login feature is also broken because it seems as if it created a new account even though I used my same email address. I like the new UI as it looks much cleaner. But none of that matters if the underlying app is broken. Will be waiting until the next update fixes this!

Helpful App. I often forget to carry coin. I rarely even carry cash. This app has made it so much easier to park for work. I love that it allows you to pre-pay before metering starts and that doesn’t count as paid time, something putting coins in doesn’t allow you to do. I was surprised to see people had trouble with this app because I’ve been using it for a year and have not had any issues yet.

Horrible App. This app notify you 2 minutes before expiration which doesn’t give you enough time to renew parking if an extension is needed. The minute your parking expire the boot company is there to place a $75 boot on your vehicle. The app doesn’t function like the ParkMobile app which alerts you until you acknowledge your parking is expiring. The Passport Parking app alerts you 2 minutes prior to expiration with a vibrate once so if missed the app will not alert you again. My suggestion to anyone parking with this app is to set your own alarm for 10 minutes prior to alert you when your parking is expiring to prevent fees. Your alarm will keep alerting until you acknowledge it unlike Passport Parking.

Always credit card issues. Every time I use this app I feel my blood pressure rise. You’re overcharged compared to the meter but I’m willing to accept that that’s the price of convenience. The bigger issue is that the credit card payment service is unreliable and faulty. Half the time my payment gets declined (after visa says it goes thru) and I have to force quit the app and restart to get it to work. It’s impossible to extend time because of this issue. What’s the point of an app to pay for parking if the payment won’t go through half the time? I know it’s an issue on the app side because I’m able to go to the meter itself and extend with the same card.

Terrible App -. App looks extremely outdated. The UI needs extensive work. The UX is almost based off a responsive website rather than a native app. The search parking aspect doesn’t auto populate suggestions. I had to search a location only to it not move the map at all however when I clicked search then my suggested locations populated. The interface is clunky. I travel a lot and love the ease of mobile payments but must say this is one of the worse ones. Also when signing up the “easy” way via Facebook it was anything but easy. App froze and crashed a few times before it would create a profile.

Easy But Change Alert Options. The setup and daily use of this app are great. The only thing that needs changed is the alert sound. The horn seems like a cute idea but it is annoying and potentially dangerous. Twice I have been in traffic when the horn alert went off making me believe there was a hazard in traffic. Please make it so you can keep your horn sound or choose an alert of the user’s choice. Thanks

So handy!. This app has made it much easier to pay for parking then trying to walk to the kiosks all the time. I wish there was a way it would alert you if paying for parking was unnecessary though, so that you don’t spend $2 just to later find out it was a free day, or parking doesn’t cost after a certain time of day or in certain off seasons (I.e. summer). That would definitely be a great improvement to the app but otherwise I love it.

Passport beats ParkMobile. I used ParkMobile at my local train station and I’m so glad Laz Parking switched to Passport. When I jumped on the train and passed poor data connections I would have to call ParkMobile several times because their phone app was drop and very long and simply not commuter user friendly designed for the busy person. By the time you entered all the yes and nos , your call would be dropped at least three times. If you were lucky not to get a ticket , before you were able to properly enter all their questions . Bi have to think the municipalities that keep ParkMobile as their approved parking app, like croton harmon , New York , is because they want your call to drop so they can give s nice hefty parking ticket! Passport on the hand is 1,2,3 done! Get it , it’s convenient and fast! Thank you Passport! Grateful commuter

Here how to get this trash app to work. Delete the app if you already have it. It stores some local data that can get corrupted and this clears it. Use a computer (or request desktop site on your phone) and visit the passport parking website and use the "Pay Online" option to get to a functioning interface. Delete all your credit cards. Add back one or more Visa cards. Amex and others are not reliably accepted at various lots and the app is unable to cope with this. VISA ONLY. Add the Visa card to a wallet as your funding source. Honestly you can end here and just use the website at this point. Its better than the app and it works. Finally download the app again and sign in. It will now work. The combination of deleting all local data in the app and using only Visa cards should make it run smoothly. This app is absolute garbage but I hope this helps someone.

No Customer Support Service!. I’ve been using this app problem free for around 6 months. I haven’t had any problems until a week ago. I tried paying for parking but received an error message that stated the payment did not go through. I added a different card and the same error message occurred. Later that day they charged me 26 times...that totaled to around $400!!! I tried contacting them through the app and website/email and received no response. Don’t download this app unless you are ok with taking chances on being charged multiple times with no available customer service support.

Good, could be better. Good app, well designed, could use more clear instructions when setting up. Also needs to have an option to select how far in advance you want a reminder about expired parking, and that reminder needs to have vibration and sound options - and not just when the app is open. Also would be good to know how long you are locked out of a parking zone (a ridiculous restriction, IMO, but I’m guessing that’s a city thing not an app thing. Space #’s would be good too, but I’m guessing that’s also a city thing, not an app issue).

Use at your own risk. Meter maids do not check this app so you will be ticketed. Customer service is also difficult to get a hold of. The add time button is also really easy to accidentally hit (I had the app open in my pocket apparently) so was overcharged multiple times for a session. Customer service told me there app is great and that meter maids are not obligated to check their hand held devices to make sure you’ve paid. So if you’d like to pay for parking with this app know that you will also have to pay for a parking ticket on top of it because they will offer you zero help.

Lots of Fines. My app hit a freeze for the last few days and seems to struggle in areas where reception is bad. I rush to work and therefore forget whether I have activated my session or not and have accumulated about 10 fines over the last several weeks. If one struggles to log on there should be a reminder saying that parking has not be activated that each user can chose to set up for eArch day on the app which would not ring if the session is active. Please do this for some of us who are hectic and busy.

I still received a fine. I paid a parking meter fee through the App in Cambridge/Boston, Massachusetts, however, I still received a parking ticket. The app developer would not explain why this happened and was not willing to make any refund available. Even their “Connivence” Fee is non-refundable when you get a ticket. The level of assistance from the App Help desk was cursory and worthless. Be ready for the extra hassle of receiving parking tickets when using this app and then spending time calling the State Ticket office/court trying to get the ticket dismissed. It is a major waste of time.

New Parking Meters on Cambridge Parkway. It was a sad day when Cambridge decided to put metered parking on the Cambridge Parkway. But I guess it was inevitable. I will say the parking system solution is not too bad. Using license plates is convenient. The passport app for your phone is positive. It makes parking for parking convenient and efficient. It would be nice if the window to pay for parking could start before 8 am. If you park before 8 am... you must remember to pay for parking at 8 am... if you forget... you will get a ticket.

Won’t accept legit credit cards. I have used the Passport app for several years. As of late, it will not accept any of my eligible credit card. A message appears, after entering all required info, that it cannot process my payments, no matter what credit card I tried to use. However, today I was able to easilyuse the early this morning without an issue. Five hours later, in the same zone, it wouldn’t accept any credit cards. I have deleted and readded the app, but have not had a chance to use it yet. Fingers crossed.

Decent but needs tweaks. Save users clicks and decisions. I want to save my parking space number and confirm payment, that’s it. Use last zone or GPS for closest zone, and have parking space on the first screen, that saves a decision/click. Have confirmation for payment be confirming the last or default payment and the no is to change it. I don’t need wallet or card as payment screen 1, then selecting payment as screen 2, then confirming payment screen 3. I’m trying to get to an appt or make a train and there are too many clicks. Thx

Parking Plus Convenience. I am a big fan of Passport! I have used it for several years at my local train station making it much easier to park and go! PLUS, I travel quite a bit and Passport has made parking in places like Breckenridge so simple because I already have the app and can easily add a rental car or friend’s vehicle. They’ve made some nice improvements to the end user experience over the years which I really appreciate!

Waste of time. Update: This app is still garbage. It still doesn’t work!! Don’t waste your time! If your local government is considering a parking app warn them before your stuck with this junk!!! Just as other reviews have stated this app will only work the first time. Have tried multiple times to use the app the past two months to no avail. Had to use the passport website instead. I wish our municipal government had chosen a more reliable mobile platform. Update: still the worst app in the business. When will I and my municipality learn...Got a ticket with ACTIVE time left on the meter. Urge your government not to use!!!

User profile is blank?. I cannot understand why you deleted my user profile data when you came out with the new app version. Otherwise I like the app and I appreciate the zone finder based on proximity, but the overall user interface seems to be a downgrade. It looks terrible. I’ll give 4 stars because I have loved your app for a long time and will give you guys the benefit of the doubt for now.

Expensive with few options. No options shorter than 4 hours. I’m only here to eat dinner. I certainly don’t need four hours for dinner. This is a rip off. Update: you asked me to email your support team if I needed help. I don’t need help - I left a negative review for a reason. Please see above for review. If you would like to change the option times, then please do so. There are other parking options directly across the street from you with greater flexibility and much cheaper rates. I will let everyone know about them. However please don’t ask ME to contact YOU. Once again, poor service and poor follow up. Very disappointing.

Confusing and gets you tickets. This app does not have any validation of input. when it displays a vehicle it doesn’t clearly say what the vehicle name and license plate are or what it’s trying to show when setting up parking. It also charges $.50 convenience fee which amounts to a 20% surcharge even for two hours, stay in my area. any mistake in entry results in a ticket even when proof of payment is given to the parking authority, this may may vary with your area. Could be done better a lot better maybe a picture of the vehicle sent to the parking authority with the plate visible at the app reads? Time and Geo marked location included with the reservation?

Space number?. You can’t find the parking space number unless you email yourself a receipt after your session ends. So if you can’t remember where you parked - which happens to me sometimes because I park at meters A LOT - you’re screwed! Also, if you accidentally don’t extend and it runs out, you won’t know your space number to start a new session. How stupid is that?! I also think the scrolling $ charge is harder to use. It would be easier to just tap 15 minute intervals. Also, a “snooze” option would be nice when you get the notification that you’re running out. Sometimes I’m in a meeting and don’t want to stop to extend. Just give me a couple minutes!

Whats the point?. What is the point of paying for parking via app if it doesn’t even change the signal for meter maids to know not to give you a ticket? Just got a ticket the other day when I paid for parking till 3:15PM and meter maid gave me a ticket at 3:11PM. ???? Make it make sense. And now today I paid for parking via app and noticed that my meter didnt change lights. Of course meter maid came to my car and was about to give me a ticket but I explained and they said to pay for parking again if that happens??? WHY?! Ridiculous. Customer service practically doesn’t even exist.

Hello confusion. I used to use this app every day for my daily parking. The lot I used to park in had a nice daily rate that would last until midnight, which didn’t really matter because I was usually gone by 5; however, one evening I had a work event that lasted until 9. As I walked to my car I saw a ticket waving at me from my windshield. Apparently, the time expired at 6. I checked the app for the rules of the lot that said $6, which I paid, would last through midnight. I’ve tried contacting support several times, but received no response. I’d recommend saving the $0.35 convenience fee and walking to the terminal to pay instead of using this app.

Rip off. How does this app get a 4.6 rating? Most of the recent reviews are terrible. Parking apps are the biggest scam of the cellphone age. Used to be I would welcome having an app to manage a mundane process such as paying for parking, but now, every time you park somewhere, instead of dropping a few quarters into the meter, you have to download an app, put in all your personal info including license plate and credit card then get charged a .$50 “convenience” fee to cover a $2 parking charge. And lest you think you’ll take your chances on just letting it ride, it seems they spend most of the profit on large threatening signs with warnings about your car being towed and impounded. These companies are parasites.

Customer support doesn’t support. For some reason iPhone does not display Enter Zone or Enter Space. Just gives a white screen with a numeric keyboard. If you type in the Zone- it will take you to the next screen to enter the space but since there isn’t instructions on the page nor can you see what you are typing - if you make a mistake it becomes an issue. Support has a script to follow - I tried all their suggestions. Nothing fixes the problem. Tried using the url instead of the app. Didn’t work. Support doesn’t want to be bothered. Been having this issue for months. Unfortunately my town uses this app so I’m stuck. Wouldn’t recommend.

PATHETIC SCAM. Since I’m in college, I got the bundle to save money for parking. For some reason, they still charge extra for using their app. In reality, you pay waaay more for parking if you use this joke of an app. I tried to pay for parking through this today, and it suddenly wouldn’t work! Kept telling me it’s my “network connectivity” when I had full bars for wifi and strong LTE. Tried to delete and install again, also tried online. Both ways were unaccessible!!!! So I had to run a couple miles back to where I parked, and because of this stupid app, I got fined!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I’m out $20! Customer service is pathetic and nonexistent. This company is a scam. Don’t pay through them if ya’ll care about saving your hard earned money!

Really convenient. But two caveats: make sure to type in your license number correctly! Even one digit off will make a ticket happen ... Also, it would be nice if the app would let you start charging the meter a few minutes ahead of time in the mornings. For example, if the meter hours don’t start until 8:00 am, allow users to do the transaction at 7:45 am . The local meters do this by quarters but not by app. Yes you can fill it by remote, but you can always forget.

Simple App, but meters are hit or miss. The App is straight forward and the parking system is much better than coins or credit card machines. The only issue I’ve come across is that the meters are not marked consistently- some have numbers that are written in marker that’s wearing off and others have the number sticker scratched off or damaged. Need a better implementation system on the ground that’s more permanent OR a way to find the correct space via the App. Still pretty great, tho.

O P Parking. So, in the village of Oak Park this ap can save you bundles. For one, OP doesn’t allow overnight parking unless you get passes from the village hall or have the Passport ap. Also, the ap never overcharges, for instance when a pay-zoned parking area requires payment til 6, it’ll only let you pay until 6. It gets rid of confusion as regulations in this town are very confusing. It is convenient and when you run out of quarters, it’s vital!

Quick and easy. Definitely love being able to jump out and not worry about having spare change in for a meter! It’s nice where it saves your info also. I have a free lot I park in so I was running late and said screw it and parked a few roads down to get to work on time. I’ve been about 5 mins late on my meter and I’m curious to see if I will have a ticket since I had to renew late. You’ll see if my response changes when work is over.

Very easy to use. Once you have loaded the app and signed then it is very easy to use. You can sit in your car read the zone and space number clearly and put the amount of time into your phone. I find it very convenient. I do home health and having quarters at the right time can be difficult. But this is easy and helps me keep a record of when I’m spending money for work.

New users can not pay. If your quote times out while confirming payment and you are a new user, that payment method is locked out. The system requires you to setup a new payment method when trying to pay again and will not accept the credit card you just put in because it is already saved. However, as a new user, you can not select an existing payment method and must setup a new payment. There is no other option. The quote timeout is pretty short and I locked out all my credit cards trying to pay. I am stuck with the setup new payment method as the only option while all my credit cards are already saved.

Latest update steals wallet balances. The latest update of this app doesn’t use Facebook SSO so I had to start a new account meaning my old wallet balance is stuck in my old account which is inaccessible. So I guess you just were going to steal all those balances from your FB signon users? What’s the plan? As of now my money, though just a couple dollars is inaccessible to me and you didn’t migrate my payment or car info either so their is no way to manage my active credit card accounts with you either. I should file a complaint with the CFPB and the FTC. If you’re going to take users money you have to be way more responsible with updates and account continuity. Also, don’t lose features when you update!

Unresponsive. When we parked our car today, my husband gave me the wrong lot number (the next one over, so still a valid lot number — just not the one we were in). There’s no canceling a session once it’s started, so we started a new session with the correct lot number. I followed the directions for contacting the app to correct the problem. It’s been 10 hours, and I’m still waiting to hear back from them. We paid for two sessions, one of which we didn’t use, and the app developers apparently think that’s okay. I don’t agree. Not sure which is new frustrating — losing the money or being so blatantly ignored.

Customer services is a fraud. The App works fine but mind you, if you make a mistake or have any issue, dont expect their customer service to be of any help! They first “hide” the “contact us” button pretty well so it is not easy to find it. Once you find it, under FAQ, it seems a robot answers your request. If you try again because you cannot resolve it, they take forever if ever to respond! They know the amounts you claim will not be worth a day of complaining and trying to get answers so I guess they use this strategy of not resolving reported issues as just another good and strong revenue stream! This should not be lermitted by law, it is sheer theft and fraud and the cities using this service should know about it!

Easy but some flaws. I love the ease of this app but there’s been a couple times where not all of the payment options are available on the app that are available for the lot. An example is today I wanted to use it but ended up going to the machine because there were only 2 payment options available on the app (both were over $20) when there are hourly options and weekend options at the machine. Weekend is only $5. If all the options showed up on the app it would definitely be 5 stars!

Still got a ticket. Used it to pay for our parking. It seems to be straight forward, however I still received a ticket. Fought it and won, however what’s the point of using this if I will have to constantly fight for ticket dismissal? The big issue I see is that the app does not talk with the meter itself and it shows that it’s “expired”, which it bring attention to enforcers. The app does state that it does not talk with the meter, however it talks with the enforcer’s handheld-which in my situation it did not. Also, to add more money to the meter using the app, the fee it charges is a bit over the top.

Waste of time and useless support. I used this app a few times to park at a university and found you had to pay for exactly the time you wanted and then extend it in 15 minute intervals. As a student I often find that my meetings run longer than expected and so I'm forced to reload the app and extend the session. For a note the local municipality uses an app that lets you pay for a day and then end the session and pay for what you used oh. I accidentally extended my last session for a full day and nobody at the app could help me cancel and refund, and it took 3 weeks for my school to figure out how to do it! Don't waste your time with this app.

Simple and worked great!. I pulled into visitor parking lot at University of Michigan and found out it was a paid lot. Had no change and the app was quick to download and easy to use. Could add time if needed without going back to car, so didn't need to overspend for parking just to make sure I wouldn't get a ticket because I couldn't just run back to put more time on the meter. Worked great and just as designed. Very simple!!

Had to uninstall and reinstall after last weeks update. Use this app almost daily for my commute to work but have also used it on weekends and when traveling - very easy!! Had to uninstall and reinstall after last weeks update because it wouldn't open. That was definitely annoying in the early morning. Glad it works again.

Processing fee. Used app a couple of times, works fine, has a handy feature so that you are notified when your time at the meter is almost up. I am annoyed at the $0.30 convenience fee because there’s no way of knowing about it before using the app for the first time. The stickers on the meters directing customers to the app have no indication of this being the case. Not faulting the company for having a service fee, faulting the company for being sly about having a service fee.

App Opens Less Than 10% of the Time (Fixed). EDIT: the problem seems to have since been resolved. The app never launches when I most need it to. Have tried to use it to pay for parking ever since my town introduced it weeks ago. Have only successfully used it once since it has been introduced. From other reviews here it seems to be an issue with the app, not with your device. Faulty and unreliable until it’s fixed, which I’m surprised hasn’t happened yet. That’s some bad dev work, sadly.

Worst app ever. I’ve downloaded and reinstalled this app a number of times and it still doesn’t work. Once you enter your credit card for payment I get an error message and to pay at the kiosk. So what’s the point of the app?! Additionally, I’ve contacted there customer support and it’s been weeks since they’ve acknowledged my request for assistance. Don’t waste your time. I also feel uncomfortable having entered so many credit cards to help process my payment. I’ve since deleted them all, but it does store them. The most frustrating part is that they’re setup for Apple Pay and that still doesn’t work. I would give this app negative stars if I could.
