Selected by App Store as one of the best apps of 2017, Moovit is the #1 local transit app in the world trusted by 100 million riders across more than 1800 cities. With the most precise information of any public transit app, Moovit adds a new city every 15 hours.
Combining all your transit options together in a single app, Moovit gives you total control over your travels so you can finally enjoy peace of mind when riding public transportation.
Because public transportation is always unpredictable, Moovit constantly updates as transit operators change schedules or alter service, so you don't end up at a station that is closed, or waiting for a bus that isn't coming.
► Live Directions with Get Off Notifications guide you step-by-step in real time as you travel. Know exactly where you’re walking, how long (or should we say how short) you’re waiting, and how many stops are left. You can focus on anything you want while riding because Moovit will alert you when it’s time to get off--no need to constantly re-check whether yours is the next stop.
► Bike Share - For sunny days, days you don’t feel like walking, days when you feel like a little extra exercise & many other days
► Real Time Arrival information (where available) lets you know when to be at the stop so you can spend your time doing something more valuable than sitting around and waiting
► Global Coverage in over 1800 cities means that when you travel, you will still be able to ride public transit like a local
► The Favorites Screen lets you save locations and frequently used lines so that you get going with a single tap
► The Widget gives you immediate access to your favorite lines & locations making checking public transportation as easy as checking the weather
► Service Alerts keep you in the know so you don't end up waiting for a bus that isn't coming, or sitting on a train because of a delay that could have been avoided. When you save your favorite lines, Moovit sends you a message when there is an issue that would affect your travels
► Live Ride tracks your ride & alerts you when you’re approaching, and when you arrive at your stop. So even when you know exactly where you’re going, your mind can indulge in a wandering day dream
► Line & System Maps let you view any local transit map available as a PDF file

THE BEST BEST APP !!! Great ! Just keep it doing !
Te ayuda con los horarios y además es una aplicación muy útil para viajar
I am in Israel and this thing knows I am an English speaker but it gives me partial directions in English with the street names in Hebrew. So I know I can catch the bus, and the number of the bus to get where I want to go, but it indicates the location of the bus stop in Hebrew, which I can't read. Most street signs here are in Hebrew, Arabic, and English. So finding the English street name would not be difficult. Even the map they post has the street names in English. It is just the street names in the directions that are iffy. Also, I can put in where I want to go in English and it converts it to Hebrew when it gives the directions so I never know for sure that I am getting directions to the correct location.
I like this Ap. I don’t know if it’s just Local to The CA Bay Area like I am , but racing out at 6:15 am and finding out whether to walk 2 blocks No. or So.to catch the faster bus or which stop has the soonest connection is v. Valuable. It gives time estimates for how long it will take to get there via a specific route but here’s an obvious caveat. Check to see when it arrives or you’ll end up waiting 15 minutes for a travel option that saves you 5 minutes. It also assumes you are on foot and don’t have a bike. Getting to the city is fast by ferry and only an 18 minute bike ride away but it never suggests that I take it until I’m next to the ferry terminal. All in all an indispensable Ap. I hope they keep improving on it.
This is the best application to my service !! No more words, I don't need said nothing else.
Te da opciones de rutas para tus desplazamientos; hay posibles debilidades pero pues con el tiempo las mismas van hacer fortalezas. Recomiendo el uso
No siempre se cumple Línea D 11
I searched today for a Walgreens pharmacy and this app gave me hundreds of Walgreens but not the closest one! May be it was the #101....but it should be the first on the list, right? No, it wasn’t on the map either.
Funciona muy bien, aunque quisiera aprender a actualizarla para recomendar mejores rutas
For what App offers it makes good on helping one travel successful in New South Wales. Helpful and useful to use. I recommend it to all.
Love this App. Allow a minute or two either way given it is public transport but I have used it in many cities and it's wonderful.
This app just great, handy and help, it’s excellent app
Was incorrect on all aspects . Would still be waiting at bus stop .
The live information of when the bus or tram has disappeared rendering this app similar now to other apps like it. It was the live info that made this app so awesome and now it’s gone. I emailed the support a month ago and there is no sign of it being fixed. I even updated the app when it came out but still does not work. Deleting app in 2 weeks if it’s not fixed.
Works really well for Adelaide I like that I can just select my destination on the map if I don't know the exact address Being able to select bus stops on the map and see when the next bus is coming at it has been so useful to me too
One of the best applications available that I love to use
Really good app but the voice which tells you about your ride arrival etc sounds robotic and bored. Plus it rarely works on Apple Watch where I think it will be more beneficial if it works.
Thank you for going above and beyond to make this app accessible for those using voiceover.
So this app is good for knowing when to get off the bus or train. But the thing is that the neither the bus or train time tables are up to date. But is is super handy to be notified a stop before. I got a new job and I can’t figure out how to change my “work” which is super frustrating, but overall if your looking for when to get off a bus or a train with visual and notification then this app is great!! But make sure you check Translink app before cuz of closures and time changes and such.
Best app to download if u catch public transportation
The app USED to show live tracking, it used to be reliable, even with the unexpected delays. But after so many updates, the time tables are off roughly 5 minutes. When I search nearby stops it shows me bus lines that are on the other side of the city and the biggest problem I’m having with the app now is, if you’re at a stop that multiple buses or trains use, it does show you which is which. The updates made the app worse.
If you put a address from another state then your in it won't work😫
I love this app, Its the best app ever
this app is the reason why i have a job. I didn't know certain bus routes in my area & my city transportation didn’t even have schedules for what i wanted snd needed to know. This app does & I'm very glad i got it !! Thank you Moovit !
This app is great for weekdays but doesn’t do a good job for weekend track updates. A great example is it says I can take the R train from World Trade Center PATH to SoHo but there are significant delays on the R. The R isn’t running this weekend on those stops so yeah, I guess waiting until 5 am Monday is a delay technically. I’d rather see the app give me the real options and then footnote why an expected option isn’t available. I’m from the NYC area so I’m okay but if I wasn’t I’d be really confused
The app would not pick up my location even when I gave the app persmission numerous times to use location data. Checked my settings to make sure it wasn’t my error. Not sure what is going on with the app, undownloaded it for Routesy.
Why would an app like this not allow you to choose another metro area? Relies way to heavily on location services.
This app is very very unfriendly to the user
While this is still my go-to app for accuracy, I HATE this update! Why did they change it so it’s now only a bus/train icon so you have to click each individual route option to see WHICH bus or train line you need to use? This is such a stupid inconvenience and I have no idea how this got green lit. Why would anyone think that was helpful to not show the line #???
