3stars on iPhone/iTouch, 4stars on iPad. I'm a fan of Tower Defense type games and this one is pretty good, especially if you're into WWII era stuff (as opposed to sci fi or fantasy Tower Defense). Graphics, game play, controls and sound effects are all spot on - well done! The biggest dissappointment was to play it on the small screen of my iTouch - the font/words are SO TINY, I could barely make them out! There are lots of other games that I play on my iTouch that has writing/words and they are easy to read, there's no reason other than oversight or sloppiness that fonts are this small in IBomber. I'm going to delete this form my iTouch and just only play it on my iPad3 :)

Loved the last game, this one is even better given the new options. It wasn't a big leap getting used to dropping bombs or specifying perks. I do have to admit that the hidden target part of the game didn't click for me right away. If anything, those features may give this game more replay appeal than the first game. To be fair to all of the other reviews complaining about crashes, I am playing this on my iPad 2 and have had no crashes after having played through the full campaign and one bonus mission.

Very well-done TD. This is a very nicely done Tower Defense game that has good difficulty and nicely balanced capabilities. The IAP basically buys a cheat, so it is definitely not pay to win. Any TD fan should get a lot of enjoyment out of this. The -1 star is for the not very clear instruction or explanations of the various mechanics of the game. You don't really know what your upgrade does until you buy it, for example. Or secondary objectives / tools explanations are clicked away when you tap by accidents, but no way to recall them after they are clicked away. Minor annoyance really.

Yes!. I played the original iBomber until I got bored of it finally, but loved it. Went online again looking for something similar and found the next generation and had to buy it. Besides it crashing sometimes it has been an improvement over the last generation. They added a little more computer intelligence. The added new maps of course, crates you have to actively destroy for more money, but you have to keep an eye on what crates you are attacking so not to allow their attackers to slip buy. Some attackers don't just follow the road to your base, but stop and attack your defenses where you are weak. They added different weapons not available on the old version such as bombs you can drop on difficult areas when things get crazy or on those attackers stopping at your defenses. They added secondary missions such as defending certain things from attack or destroying certain things. Overall, very addicting and fun. I gave it four stars instead five because of the crashing.

Fantastic game..... ...but often on startup. I deleted and re-downloaded but it still crashed. I then reset/rebooted the iPhone and now it seems to work. I have the original iBomber and Fieldrunners. This is like a combo of the two, just way, way, waaaay better. No regrets buying it. Just hope they fix the crash issue. This is THE best tower defense game around. It is a blast!! So much fun.

Best game I've played on iPad.. Worth every star! Way better than the first iBomber defense. This version is smart, exciting and a visual delight. You actually have to develop a strategy, unlike so many other games of this genre. This is best in class. I'd love to see Chillingo make several more battle/war themes. I play this way more than I thought I would.

I wish there was a sequel!. What an odd update to come out now. Two years ago this would have been great. Now, kinda ho hum.

STOP COMPLAINING PEOPLE. Listen the game can be challenging but its no where near impossible i basically beat the game and i never died, its fun but hard enough to make you think, which makes it more fun than just sitting there watching wave of enemies go by being bored. So if you like rower defense games get it this is way more fun than all 5 bloons games! And best on IOS

Fun. Small additions to genre.. I enjoy tower defense games and had never played one until the iOs devices. Own quite a few of the games now. This one is definitely fun. I wouldn't say it adds many additions to the tower defense genre though. Worth the purchase at some point but I'd wait till you get tired of your current tower defense games.

Difficult to like. The game has everything it needs to be fun. Unfortunately it’s just too hard, even on the easiest difficulty.

Great game. This game was really fun, challenging on SOME levels, especially the last level. I really enjoyed this game and addicted. The points and upgrades score system works really well. This game could use a level creator and online levels, for unlimited gameplay though. Other then that, it was great. You should really buy it, especially is you like tower defense games. Totally worth it, defiantly .BUY IT!

Good enough.... Everything you need in a tower defense game - just not everything you want. I play daily and enjoy it, but the game gives you more if a puzzle experience rather than strategy. You will find there is NO room for experimentation. There is only one way to complete a board perfectly and the reward is finding it through trial and error. I consider myself an above average strategist, but found that my military knowledge of tactics meant nothing to this game. Worth the purchase in the end.

Plays well, no crashes at all. I love tower defense games and while this has some beautiful graphics in the intro and interstitial screens, the game is fairly generic from a gameplay standpoint. Fun, but didn't really offer any surprises and got a little dull. Not sure what all the reviews on crashes are all about. This game plays perfectly, no crashes, and I have several apps open at the same time.

Crashes repeatedly lose all progress. I love Cobra games and have bought and completed several. Like many of the other reviews, app crashes repeatedly and then refuses to open. Running on iPad Air 2 with iOS 11.1.2. In my cases the only fix is to reinstall and I lose all progress making the game unplayable. Very disappointed and would like a refund. At version 1.6 this game should not be this buggy.

Appears to be broken. I just re downloaded this game and it appears to be broken. Launches then shuts down.

Good gameplay but doesn't suspend games gracefully. Good tower defense type game. I find the levels challenging enough to require a few different approaches on before I find the right combined arms, but none that truly stump me, so progress is steady. However, if you pause mid-mission and then have to relaunch the game later, it loses mission state and starts the level over, which is really frustrating if you had to sleep your pad right as you were hitting the last wave.

It crashes when I open it. I love the game but it crashes every time I open it. I have the latest iOS running on an iPhone 7 Plus. The only way it works is if I turn my whole Phone off and on again. Not worth the time to play an otherwise cool game.

I generally don't care for these games.. However... I've become obsessed with iBomber. I played this title so much, that when I close my eyes, I still see the game in the darkness of my mind. I don't even remember what prompted my decision to purchase it initially. I am just happy that I did. The learning curve is just right, the control scheme feels like a natural extension of my thoughts and the strategy element is the perfect balance. To top it off, the graphics are above other titles in the same genre. My only complaint, is my apparent lack for need of social interaction... very well done.

Crashes 100% of time on iPad Pro. Garbage! Doesn't run at all! I want my money back!

I keep playing and playing. It’s a great iPad game, it runs without problems, on my 2017 era iPad for several years now. I love the rocket bombs option, now that I have finished all the levels.

Great companion to Bomber Defense. I agree with the other 5 & 4 star reviews. Any petty peeves are likely operator problems - I have logged hundreds of hours without a hitch. I do like Bomber Defense, their companion TD, a little better, but both offer great variety, multiple levels of difficulty, great graphics, etc. TD games are about allocation of resources, and in the abstract so is much of life.

Ranks. I really love this game. My one complaint is that they need to pay a little more attention to detail with the military ranks. If the game is going to follow the history of the war in Pacific, then they should at least be able to get ranks correct. Lieutenant Colonel rank is silver and Major rank is gold, the creators have it backwards. This is a small complaint, but the devil is in the details.

Good. Definately a good and beautiful game! Until it crash at the last wave of that hard level, totally desapointed... Always when I open it the game crash, after a few tries works, and sometimes crash in the middle of the game! And worse, don't have multitasking, so you can't pause and when I receive messages and the popup appears the game crashes and a loose everything on the level I was playing... Loosing my patience and the excitiment to play, and by the way, wasn't cheap!

Good but buggy. Lots of bugs. Poorly balanced. Easy level can be very hard. Win some levels and can't advance until go back first in menus -very buggy. Assign points and it will sometimes forget. Many nuances you have to figure out because help is virtually useless. Very difficult to earn decent amounts of money for upgrades. Nothing defines perks so you have to figure them out to a degree. What do bars under perks mean? How come you can't assign perks on third level from first but you can on second levels. Who knows because help is non-existant. In app purchase kills spirit of the game. And if I am paying for it I should be able to use anytime. It is, after all, a game!!!! This is truly like a beta version. Potential is great but wait until 2.0.

Towers defense perfection. This game is 20 kinds of awesome! Very addictive gameplay, nice variety of units, enemies, upgrades, bonuses, etc. Graphics and sound are great Requires strategy and planning, not just slapping down units haphazardly. Make sure to play it on the hardest difficulty level though, the the easy and medium levels will let you get away with poor strategy. Only real downside is that once you master the strategies and get most / all of the upgrades, the last level isn't much of a challenge. Not a single crash on my iPad 2.

Broken. Games is broken for months and they won’t fix. Save your money

Ummm. It won’t even launch...the cobra games screen flashes then goes back to my iPhone background, my screen flips horizontally but still only with my iPhone background/ no game. 👌🏻

Addicting. I don't know what everyone is talking about as far as crashes and whatnot but I just bought this a few days ago and so far not a single issue. I have beaten the game on its easiest level after 10 hours of game play and enjoyed every minute so far. I am using an IPad2

Worth the 99¢ for sure. Great tower defense game with an interesting twist in that enemy units don't need to proceed in the same path. They will stop and try to destroy your towers from defensive positions. The ramp up at the beginning of negate is a bit steep for all the possible complexities, it could have done with an extra level or two to teach what tactics are best in each case such as trenching in or how much extra damage a comm tower will host your defenses. The crash on launch seems to be common but the trick is to restart your iPad completely. Has another annoying bug, users get victory points for a level that you can use towards power ups, if you redo a level and do worse than the previous attempt then you lose the difference in victory points. It gets recorded as the first attempt but your given only your second attempt. So even going back and doing the level again does nothing to regain those points. I currently have what they call a full House of every level up to 8, which means I should have a rounded number of victory points as they are given in tens and used in tens but I have 8 left over, which is exactly the difference in score between my two attempts. I wish I could write more but you can't write a review on the iPad and see what your typing past the first 300 characters.

True to name. This game is very good and true to the rest of the series. They added bombs which I could do without, and the ability to dig-in units and aim for distance. The game plays more interactively with additional units attacking your defenses from other directions. These days we seem pretty hard-up for a good TD game. This is far superior to most out there currently.

Incredibly fun, incredibly frustrating. Fantastic graphics, audio and production value. Like all good games, it lures you in with easy levels and a sense of accomplishment. Then out of nowhere it becomes quite difficult causing you to rethink your strategy. Unlike most games, however, it doesn't allow you to get better. It teases you with an upgrade system whose only currency is achieved by playing the campaign. If you don't perfect a campaign mission, you don't get full points and thus miss out on potential upgrades. Be warned though, don't expect to regain those points by playing again. The game has completely different mechanics via replay, whose sole purpose seems to exist to gain achievements. So by the time you reach later levels, unless you've played it perfectly on the first try, you're so far behind in upgrades that the levels, even on rookie, become nearly impossible.

Good idea, but needs more polish.. It's basically a new take on the tower defense idea. Great artwork and gameplay, but there are a lot of holes that need to be filled. Like when a new weapon is introduced, no explanation of what it can do. Also, there are times when you can't complete the secondary mission, so you don't even worry about it. Which makes you care even less about what happens in the missions. I love tower defense games, but I'll have to wait after a few updates to really enjoy this one.

Yes, it can work on iPad 1. After checking their website, I had to do a reset by holding the home and power keys for several seconds, but the app opened and worked without a glitch. It would be nice to know that process was needed for an iPad 1 though! That said, this iBomber is fantastic. Many great improvements over the original - secondary objectives, advancing your rank and getting perks, the campaign map. One of the best TD games, bar none!

Fun but crashes over and over. Like the game, it worked for a few days then one day it just started crashing on startup. Reinstalled still crashes.

Looks great, but frustratingly difficult. Loved the first game - was addicted to it for weeks and longed for more. This second addition looks as beautiful as the first and adds new elements that were not present in the first, such as the secondary objectives, but it's also frustratingly difficult beyond an "enjoyable factor". I love a good challenge, but this just gets frustrating, try after try, over and over, changing up my strategies only to get to the point where I get tired the repetition of not getting anywhere in some of the levels (granted I'm one of those who has to finish each without any bad guys getting through). I want to enjoy the game and keep trying, but it just ends up irritating. On the technical side, the game is rock solid, beautiful, and well executed... except for an annoying "film projector" sound that cannot be turned off when playing in high speed mode. Highly annoying. Nice looking game, solid, and pretty, but too difficult to offer me any real enjoyment. Bummer. Pretty let down after the awesomeness that was the original iBomber Defense.

iBomber Great Strategy Game. This is my 1st time playing a tower defense game and am definitely impressed! The games help section is straight forward and walks you through the basics. Graphics are clear and even on a first generation iPad there are no hang ups. The levels progressively get more difficult and provide hours worth of fun and entertainment. Just when you think you have figured it all out... You need to change strategies... Definitely not a boring game. I will be recommending this to friends!

Beautiful but boring. The first thing that strikes you about this game is the beauty of it. It really can't be matched graphically by any other tower defense games. That said, I lost interest in this game very quickly because it's just not fun. I think part of the reason is that the game is too zoomed out by default so it's just not as much fun when you kill the units. It's also extremely annoying that the whole map cannot fit on the screen. You could have a tower / weapon getting destroyed off screen and not know about it. All in all, there's a lot of potential here but also a lot of fun that's missing. For your money, you're much better off right now with a game like Kingdom Rush.

5 stars BUT.... For a total of $3.99 plus tax it's fairly expensive. Don't purchase the upgrade bomb for $.99. It's useless. There are only 2 'bonus' missions and maybe 12-15 real missions. You must pause the game every few seconds to 'dig in' your turrets which slows down game play. Difficult on rookie level. Rating a 5 only because I hope for more stages upgrades weapons bonus missions. Good game but could be great.

One of the best!. This is one of the best tower defense games out there. Gameplay, difficulty, and speed are just right. Graphics and the UI are amazing. You also get maps requiring various combinations. I've been playing it since I got it, trying to achieve "full house" in all levels. Like iBomber Defense HD, this game doesn't disappoint. It doesn't crash in my iPad 2, either. For $2.99, it's a great game!

Crash and Burn. Used to love the game but now all it does is crash. You can kill the app but it still appears where it was left off at when you turn it back on. Restart doesn’t work. Nor does a delete and reinstall.

iBomber defense is a blast through the Pacific. The European campaign was fun but easily masted at the highest difficulty as nothing changed except your health level. For the sequel, they have managed to up the challenge while providing some interesting strategy and tactical decision points. On higher difficulties, your starting stats, tower strengths, and enemy stats all change. The upgrade and bonus system is more robust, the resale values lower (making initial tower placement more critical), and the interest rate is much lower than the previous game. New enemy Sapper/harassing units show up at various points to weaken your defenses and pull you off of the main enemy path of advance. Very addictive, nicely balanced and a heck of a lot of fun. I have played on my iPhone 4s and my iPad 1, had to restart the iPad but after that the crashes went away. No issues on the phone.

As per my review.. It's covers all the basics for a great TD, and is extremely polished in some area. However, as with everything nothing is perfect. The weapons have no definitive stats making hard to decipher and decide whether it is worth upgrading, in game and out game. Other little things like understanding the benefit of perks etc does limit the strategic element. But I'm sure these feature will con in the updates to follow. Over all, great visuals and sound. Very fun to play. 4/5

Cool game. Runs fine on my iPad. Good, addictive fun, plus a bit of WW2 history, there's a few pacific island battles I didn't know about. Not all were fought by the USA alone, as implied, but hey it's a game. Nice one.

Good but flawed.. Like all of the iBomber games, this game is a lot of fun, but I'm really not sure why they haven't enabled save states? Having to reload the game from the title screen every time you switch apps is not much fun :(

Crashes delete all player data. Played this game twice today and both times the app crashed and removed all player data. Had to start from the beginning of the campaign all over again. Great game but not worth buying with this problem.

Old school war. Enjoyed the levels. Nice design and levels we're playable on different difficulty. Does get frantic on some later levels. Its a great feeling when your strategy actually works. Found dig in mode a bit hard to grab the circle to spin around: some times it gets tricky. Overall it's a very good iPad game that I have spent hours playing

It's good. Pretty sweet TD game. Difficulty settings are great, veteran is insane if you want perfection. Guessing most of the crash complaints come from iPad 1 owners so beware, the graphics are nice

By far the best tower game. I've finished the top tower defense games (TowerDefense, guns n glory and field runners). This one stands out with a great story, more towers, and well polished. It's a different take on towers which kept me playing longer than the other games. ONLY REQUEST: Would love to continue my games between iPad/iPhone. This may be possible now that iCloud is here. Hopefully it's not too difficult to implement.

A total blast!. I'm finally deleting this game after many many months. I've had so much fun playing it. It's very challenging on the higher levels and completely un-put-downable. ...So why am I deleting it? To free up space for the new version, of course! ...I feel almost disloyal!

Would be good but.... I was enjoying it but it keeps forgetting where I am up to and making me start back at the first level so I am deleting it.

This Game Doesn't Save Progress. Great game, very addictive, but since the upgrade to IOS8 any progress you make through the levels is lost if you quit or move to another app. Multitasking doesn't solve the issue either. Obviously a glitch but it hasn't been fixed yet. My advice is wait till its fixed before you buy this one, it's just too frustrating!

Sound. This is a great game; really fun and exciting. The sound was working for one day after I brought it and now when I enter campaign mode the sound stops. Other then this minor issue it is a great tower defense game.

Great fun!. Game is a lot of fun and a great time sink, as a fan of tower defense Games this is right up there. Would love to see a pc version where you could challenge your friends to see who was the best like some of the custom maps in Starcraft 2.

Liking TD games. Best thing is its acheivable without having to buy power ups.

Bugs galore. Graphics are good but there are many bugs (foot soldiers that you cannot be killed, destroying supply crates requires multiple attack orders etc). Needs a better upgrade tech tree or more places to place units. I feed like a spectator and not a player.

super tower defense game !!. I love TD games, was often disappointed, but how genius this one is ! not boring at all, challenging, various ennemies ! this game is a no-brainer, you can buy it eyes closed !

Good but missing a few features. Good levels, good graphics, good animation. Levels are challenging and you must develop your strategy to succeed. Pretty addictive even though I'm not a fan of the genre. BUT: - Your progress in a level is often lost after you leave during a mission. So if you got a good level going and you have to leave, you will most likely have to start it over. - Also, there's no way to know what power a turret really has and what you're going to get if you upgrade. I'd like to have power indicators for weapons and % gains for comm towers, etc. - Seems to me like the rocket launcher is not worth it next to a cannon which shows way more effective. Maybe with the power scores I would understand better. If those problems were resolved I would give it a 5-star score.

Unable to play.... Tried loading the games time and time again, but it will never load... Money and time lost.

A fun little game. Worth the price. Great graphics and game play. Would like to see the battles start in "pause mode" so I can review the terrain. Also bit confusing navigating around if you want to go back to replay battles again at higher levels of difficulty. Not confusing if playing straight through though.

A Very Decent Game. Well worth the cash. Great graphics. Sound effects. Music. One of the better ones I've played (and I've played a lot!!). This one has the quality of good game play equal to the level of the original Desktop Tower Defense. It has a few idiosyncrasies that I'm sure will be cleared up in future bug updates and new releases. - stars for weapons keep resetting on medium and advanced levels. - put a back option instead of a quit. I don't want to have to re-enter through the whole game to get back to where I was. - tell me what each additional star givese for that weapon (faster time -2secs, more power 20% raise , etc). The power star levels for each weapon is disconnected because it is not until the highest level achieved that you get to discern between the type of power up that you get. Hopefully the developer reads this.

EPIC!. An awesome game... Doesn't crash at all on my iPad 3 and iPod 4.

iOS 8 issues. Worked fine until I upgraded to iOS 8. Now all playing history is deleted.

Great Balance. I play a lot of TD games and this is my fave yet. Variety in maps, plus sea, land, and air enemies make for lots of thinking and fun.

Stressful. Not challenging since most levels seem like they can only be passed with a specific set of builds...

My favorite game for iPhone !. Love everything about it, and was thrilled when it came out as a successor to the original. My only complaint is that there's not more levels , campaigns (just one), or bonus missions (just two). Why they don't create at least new bonus missions and publish them as updates kind of disappoints me. The only further gameplay one you finish the single campaign is to revisit levels and try for a better result...but it's still a "been there, done that" feeling. Great game, but they should be supplementing it with additional levels, cause once it's done, its done...

Bomber. Game would be excellent if it didn't crash after 4 missions. Tired of rebooting all the time to see if. The game will stay on.

Was this tested prior to release?. I installed this on an iPad 1 and it crashes when starting the campaign mode every time. I tried four times. It's currently unplayable for me. It's a shame because I enjoyed the original ibomber. Update: I installed version 1.1 and the app is still crashing when starting a campaign. Unbelievable....

Fun, but should save when you close. Fun game. But, you should be able to stop and pick up where you left off (like every other game there is). It's a bummer to get through wave after wave, have to stop to do something else, and then come back to find you have to start the level over from scratch.

Great game with small issues. If you enjoyed the first one you will like this one. My only issue is that I keep selling things I don't mean to when I bunker them down. A small fix so I won't give it one star for that. Other wise great and a must have.

Very fun!. Don't know why everyone is having crashing issues..? Maybe low memory issues on your phone? This game hasn't crashed once for me. My only thing.. I wish you were able to purchase more credits/money to upgrade your armor quicker. But it's a challenging strategic game- addicting!

Please, please, please make another!. Need a Europe or Pacific 2. One of the first Tower Defense games I ever downloaded. I keep trying to find better or at least a replacement and so far haven't found it. I finish it, put it down for a while and always come back. Great game.

As Good as can be!!. Even better than the first ones! More levels are provided in addition to bonus rounds, advanced upgrades on towers deeper storyline. I have no problem with crashes, and I have a 3GS.

Good but not great.. This is good looking game with good game play. Worth the money if you are bored. however, something is missing, maybe it is just too slow--it is slow. It isn't addictive. It's enjoyable but I can't give it 5 stars. I was completely addicted to Fieldrunners 2 and Kingdom Rush but iBomber isn't as rewarding.

Hours of entertainment. Love it! No bugs with an iPad 2... Been playing for hours over the past several days. Very fun game that gets increasingly difficult and more addictive!

Great gameplay!. Everything you want from a good Tower Defense game! I searched a long time for a good TD game, playing a lot of lame ones in the process, and finally Found this one. The graphics are just as good as the game and a solid storyline as well.

Awesome game!. I only give it 4 stars because it needs the ability to listen to music while you play. I'm not sure why they didn't include this feature, since I haven't actually heard any music yet. Other then that, this game rocks. I totally recommend it.

I love it, just 22 missions!!!. Great for its price. Guaranteed to keep you swiping your fingers on your screen.. I was hopping that it had more than 22 missions. But i guess you can always play the maps on different levels and try to beat your own score! Great game. Can't get enough

Takes a While. It took me a little while to get a handle on this as opposed to the original but once I got used to it I couldn't put it down. The bombs and aiming of the turrets keep you more directly involved. Tons of fun and replayable!

Still Fun. One of the first games I got when iPads came out and one of the few I keep coming back to. Will play, finish, then start again few months later.

Bravo. The first was amazing, and this turret defense adds a whole new gameplay dimension. I love the perk and level up system great job! I only wish you could include some additional bombing levels like in the first game, just to vary it a little

FUN!. Chillingo has done it again with yet another COOL game…. This is not your typical static defense game. You have to move around the defense grid to watch for the sneaking enemies and monitor you defense units for repairs and upgrades in order to successfully WIN the battle…. Looking forward to the next GREAT game for Chillingo!

Another classic. I have yet to be disappointed with and ibomber game. Great graphics, good game plays, no bugs, keeps me hooked for hours. Buy it support the developers that make great games happen.

Audio Bug. I'm using an iPhone 4S and the audio bug is still running rampant after the last update. Other than that its a great game, looking forward to seeing more weapons, perks and enemies in future updates. Also where is the game center support?

Fun. Over all a fun game with very good graphics and dynamic play. There are some levels that are a bit to challenging especially when you get an entire row of the super tanks, but it is not impossible. I would enjoy more levels, I found the game a bit short, but fun all the same.

Dang Addictive Game. Not sure why everyone says this game crashes. Has not done so the first time for me. But I didn't download until I had upgraded to iOS 5.1. Anyways, really like the game, just too addictive.

Fun, challenging, addicting. If you like tower defense type games, this one is primo. Very clear and crisp graphics. Escalating challenge. Nice strategic decisions in which power ups to load before a battle. Lots of tactical choices within battles.

Love it. But has an issue.. The new app is great. It is less monotonous and more engaging than the first one. Makes you think more. Interactive surroundings and ability to drop bombs are nice additions. -------- Issue: when you play and close the app to do something else and re-open, 50% of the time it relaunches the app and you have to start the mission all over again. No fun.

Medium-simple strategy game with an arcade feel.. Lots of fun, really. Sounds are awesome, and strategy is easy to pick up and get better at. One of my favorite ways to kill 15 to 20 minutes every other day or so. Only die-hard FPS addicts would find fault with with it, as there's very little aiming involved.

Wish there was more!. A great tower defense game with a good historical plot. I went through all the levels in about 11 hours of game play and even at that length I was still left wanting more. I hope they add more levels in the future and create other versions for other historical battles.

The gameplay is mindblowingly bad. The gameplay is mindblowingly terrible. Did the creators even bother to play the game before they released it? The cash values for each enemy killed is not proportional to its difficulty. There's no effective way of slowing an enemy down (flamethrower is useless). You can basically beat the game by just building a bunch of bomb buildings every level and just dropping bombs. Kingdom Rush is 5 times better. I'm sorry I wasted my money and my time on this purchase.

Absolutely brilliant game!. Not to sure what's going on with those of you having crash problems, but I am running it on first gen iPad iOS5 and it runs flawlessly. And besides that, it is truly a great game!

Good follow up. This is a great follow up to iBomber defense. The level of challenge is definitely kicked up a notch. Less linear, lots more concurrent ways to loose :) I've just started with it but so far I love it. It hasn't gotten boring.

Great game. I bought this game a few days ago and it is fantastic. I have had zero crashing issues so I don't really know what others are talking about. This is one of the better TD games I have played. Well done, well done indeed.

Great strategy game. It sort of reminds me of defending your base in red alert, a game which I played many hours. I like the simplicity of the commands and how easy it was to beat on easy. If I had any critiques it would be that there needs to be more levels or create your own scenario, otherwise I enjoy playing it.

solid Tower defense game play….. This game has multiple levels of strategy. It has some solid graphics, and you can’t just “Put and Play” and think you have won……This game will need to strategize and maybe redo stages to achieve your best. Very nice work.

Read Review. This game along with Toy Defense are two of the best tower defense games in the military genre. I appreciate the one time only in-app purchase costing just one dollar, very reasonable and worth every cent. The developers of this game were not greedy, unlike many others.

Better than the original. Great game, multiple levels and new rewards make it more interesting. Make sure that you are using the bonuses on the second screen

Too little explanation, too hard. The game is similar to ibomber. However, the game is too hard, even at rookie level. After about 8-10 levels, you will not beat the game at first try. If it is too hard, little kids 10-16 will not like it. Further, you have to invest in specialization, and there is no manual explaining this.

Crashes at Campaign. I love tower games and this one is no exception. I played the lite version of this title and had no problems but after I decide to spend the 3 bucks on the full version and get it installed I can't play it. It crashes every time I try and start the campaign. If this problem is not fixed I will be demanding a refund. Would rate this more than one star if I could play but till then I recommend no one buy until the campaign crashes are fixed.

Great game, a few crashes. I have an iPad 1, current iOS. Other apps had been crashing so I closed all of my apps in the multi task bar and now everything runs fairly smoothly. This is one of my favorite apps. :)

The BEST GAME Ever!!!!!. Wish you had 10 stars. I have enjoyed every game in iBomber family, this one will NOT dissapoint you. Smooth, easy to understand gameplay, captivating. This is a well written game. Nice enhancements over the 1st iBomber defense. Chillingo has done it again!

Great game. This game is amazing and worth a few dollars but my complaint is you don't get enough money when u destroy the enemies units and the crates are really hard to destroy. The best way to destroy them is with a bomb but that hurts your own turrets. But other than that the game is amazing and I haven't been able to put it down.

Great Tower Strategy Game. First off: 1st gen, fully updated iPad---has never crashed; fully updated 4s--has never crashed For me this is an all around great tower defense game. It develops from round to round in such a way that it keeps you interested in every round. After each round, you earn points from which you unlock tower upgrades. So, on top of the in-round strategy, there is a long term round to round strategy of deciding what towers you will rely on the most. Add perks to this, an there are a seemingly endless number of ways to attack the game. If you're a fan of tower defense games, there's little chance you won't enjoy this game.

Tower defense for pacific. I think this is a good game, needs a little polish but happy with my purchase. It's a tower defense game, if you like those, you will like this one. -Graphics are ok, would like more detail -Upgrades are good, maybe give new weapons -Action is good, I like the mix of land/sea

Great game. Mine does not crash on 2nd gen ipad. Addicting game, you'll love it. Only gripe is you cant save mid-game so you rely on the ipad memory to keep your game for you which may not work every time. That and i cant seem to get the secondary objective in Okinawa! Dammit! How do you defend the supplies!!!!

Needs Better Gameplay Balance. Big fan of this series and was so excited to see this game come out. Sad thing is as you get further into the game it becomes not increasingly difficult but more like insanely difficult! Level 20 and on. This fact essentially forces you to buy the endless rocket iap and even with this it becomes so difficult in the later stages. Hope they improve gameplay balance.

Addictive. Needs "Save Game" Option. Love the game. I find it addictive because I can choose between a rookie, medium, or advanced level. There are two issues I wish would get fixed: 1. If you receive a call while playing the game, the sound is turned off and there's no way to get it back. 2. There is no "Save Game" feature, either automatic or manual. I often play a portion of the game and then need to use other apps and come back to it but when I come back to the game it restarts from scratch. There should be an automatic save if you switch apps or close out the game. Even a manual save would be better than nothing.

Working after reboot of iPad 1st generation. Crashed when I hit "Campaign" with an iPad 1st generation and emailed their support which responded quickly - I just needed to power reboot the iPad and app is working great… hold your home button and power button down to power off and then power it back on again.

U. This game is really worth the money. I started paying it and now I can't stop. I play it hours on hours at a time. It is very addictive. When I start playing it the whole day pass me by. It's very challenging and make you think. You have to stay alert at all times. This is a great game.

Great tower defense game. I have played many TD type games this one is one of the best if not the best one so far. No problems, I have run the first six levels at all three levels and had a great time!

Progressing the genre. I'm a big fan of tower defense games. I think I own most of the tower def games in the app store. This one is definitely challenging. I really like the bombing feature, where the player drops bombs aimed from high altitude. The bombs add a nice addition to the tower def genre.

Newbie. Never played this series before, didn't know what to expect. Worth while. Should be plenty of gameplay with the multiple difficulty settings. It blew me away. Excuse me while I return to defending my base.

Great game. Saw this game on steam, never heard of it before. The name hinted to me that it might be on iPad, found it, bought it, and it was the best purchase ive made on my iPad so far. This game is loads of fun and it always keeps you entertained.
