This is truly an excellent app!. I have always loved the idea of being able to rattle off Bible verses from memory and apply them to various situations in life. I had seen others do it and admired them for their memory. Memory verses get stuck in my head as pictures or concepts but I had trouble recalling the precise wording. Partly due to exposure from different translations. I decided to try using this app to memorize 14 verses from the book of Romans to help in presenting the gospel. It ended up being so easy and fun with this app that I set my sights on memorizing a collection of 100 verses that were put together for witnessing to Mormons. Those were going so well that I threw in some more verses along the way. I am now up to 63 verses. Not only can I recite them precisely I can do it with the reference and can even do it in random order. I look forward to finishing off the rest in my list (130 in all) and then I plan on adding some more! This has helped encourage me to have very regular daily devotions memorizing the Word and learning the context of the verses. I don't typically write reviews and I am not very good at remembering details but this app is worth a 5 star review and has helped even a guy like me memorize scripture. Give it a try!!!

Memory Tactics Work!. We memorize a lot of scriptures. Between me attending womens Bible study and we take on a verse a week, and all 8 of my kids in childrens ministry memorizing a verse or two each week, it’s hard to keep it all straight. This app has you systematically type the verse, then every other word, then the whole thing from memory. I was amazed at how easily I was remembering scriptures so quickly! You can also make flash cards, draw pictures, record yourself saying the verse or singing the verse, and make backgrounds on your phone. My kids have started using the app as well and have their own folders. I could add verses to their folders and track their progress in memorizing but I mostly just allow them to use it at their own discretion. I created a group for my womens Bible study and invited several of the women. We can track each other’s progress on our memory verses and remind each other it’s time to practice. I can also add my memory verses in French manually. All the features still work and I can work on memorizing in my second language as well. Very cool app

Excellent scripture memory app. Some features I particularly like: -vibration instantly signaling a mistake during the memory exercises--instant feedback. -the pop-up notifications that remind you to study verses you are less familiar with (the more times you successfully type a verse, the less frequently it will come up for review in the future). -auto-splitting up of longer sections of text into verses. -having to only type the first letter of each word--makes much more efficient (you can type the whole word if you want--just change the settings). -the whole 3 part training process. Some features that could use improvement: -when you enter two verses in, it does not auto split them. Not sure how many you have to have for auto split to work. -when I tried to change some of the text manually (for instance, increase a dash from one "-" to "--") it unaligned the whole verse from the red text in the back. Had to delete and re-add the verse. (And this is a small thing, but it would be great to have a longer dash mark.) This app is also very good for memorizing other things, like lines from a script, if you use the audio-recording feature with auto-repeat and speed up. Overall, very pleased to spend 10$ on purchase, especially after using the trial, which is very effective.

Really like it so far. I’ve only had this app for a day but I’m already impressed. Sure, there are features I’d love to have that are not in the free version, but I’m also a believer in paying workers what they’re worth, so I don’t begrudge them keeping some features only in the paid version. Anyway, I was looking for an app that would make memorization more fun and easier than my old-fashioned way of just repeatedly reading and writing, which wasn’t working anyway. It gets a whole lot harder to memorize as we age, but the method of tapping the first letter of each word, then gradually having more words removed, is really effective. It’s also kind of fun, more like a game than work. So I’m more likely to open this app and practice verses than I am to scroll social media when I have spare time.

I Wish I Could Pay More. This app has been such an awesome encouragement. I have never been a big memorizer but somehow memorized almost a verse a day in 2017. Now I find myself using Scripture to encourage people much more often — God can just bring it to mind with clarity and specificity. I’ve added a little memorization session to my daily devotions. But maybe the best thing is that it is counter programming — when your little addictions to Facebook or the ESPN app (or whatever your digital drug of choice is), you can instead reach for a little memorization boost. Pick your version (I’m old school with NIV84), define success for yourself (I use 94%). My kids even love seeing me try to remember my verses — what a great example for them to see their dad working to get the Word into his heart! My only critique: I want to donate to this app for all the good it’s done in my life but can’t figure out how!

Memorization app is fantastic!!. I so appreciate this app. I love that I can go from one version to another and compare what God is sharing with us, and what resonates with me. It is a trust worthy app. I believe one can pay a few dollars and receive that first feature. It is so helpful in helping me memorize scripture. I can go over the verse reading it numerous times. I like that I touch the first letter of the word I am memorizing as I say it in my head & it advances to the next word. If I go on and it is incorrect word, it beeps. I can go back to this step and do it again if I don’t think I have it memorized. It has so many days & I can review. I also like I have it wherever I go with my phone.

Excellent - I am so Grateful for this app!. I have been using Scripture Typer for 602 days and I have 263 verses memorized. I'm older (58) and a bit slower than some. But this app helps me to keep going. I love its versatility and flexibility. Whatever your learning style, it has options for you - typing, flash cards, drawing, audio. I appreciate that I don't have to keep track of what to review when, and that if it wants to advance me from weekly review to every two weeks and I don't feel ready for that, I can put it back to weekly or even 3 days if I want. I also like the different ways I can compete with myself (or others, if I want). And by the way, the new history graph is GREAT!

My favorite Bible memory app. As a senior adult, I thought my days of memorizing Scripture were behind me. This incredible app not only made it possible for me to memorize and remember God’s Word, but it actually made it fun and challenging. I have gone from memorizing a few of my favorite verses to memorizing whole chapters. This leads me to my one complaint, however, which hopefully will be fixed one day. If I master 10 different verses, and later I am reviewing them, I get a bonus point for each of those 10 verses that I get perfect; but if I master a passage with 10 verses, and in reviewing them I make just one mistake, even a typo, I lose all the bonus points for those verses. It’s difficult to get all the way through Romans 8, for example, without a typo, even though I now know it well; but if I make just one mistake, I lose all 39 bonus points. It would seem more fair, or at least less frustrating, if I got the bonus point for each verse I got correct. Am I wrong?

Great tool!. A number of years ago, my wife and I were AWANA Commanders. Every week we would challenge and reward children for memorizing scripture. It dawned on me and I became convicted that as an adult I did not have an intentional and organized plan to memorize scripture. I thought, there is probably an app for that… I googled, top rated scripture memory apps and this one came up. I bought it and it has been such a help! That first year, as a New Years resolution , I set a goal to memorize one verse per week (52 verses that year). As it turned out, I actually memorized over 70 verses that year. I just kept going every year since. I strongly believe that without this tool there is no way I would be where I am at without it! The review schedule is key. Be consistent. Enjoy!

Wonderful Bible memory tool. First, thank you to the developers of this app! I don’t remember for sure how long I’ve been using ScriptureTyper, but when I started a few years ago, I really thought I was too old to memorize Scripture. My boss told me about the app & I decided to give it a shot. Now a few years later, I’ve memorized AND RETAINED 352 verses! Now I have immediate access to so many scriptures when I face temptation or difficult situations & I can meditate on a verse when I’m driving or washing dishes or doing other things where I can’t read my Bible. One suggestion/request: would it be possible to add a review mode that gives the text of the verse first & requires us to supply the reference? I find I can remember the verse but sometimes can’t remember the scripture address when I’m not using the app.

Effective tool for memorizing Bible verses. I looked at all of the popular apps for memorizing Bible verses, and this one seemed to have the best combination of features. I started memorizing verses in late September and now 4 months later, I have over 50 completely memorized. That's probably more than I memorized in the past 40 years! You can choose to type the entire verse or just the first letter of each word. It will ding you if you forget an "and" or a "but" or if you type "Jesus Christ" instead of "Christ Jesus." It seems harsh but it forces you to truly memorize the verse, not just get the gist of it. It makes you really think about every single word of the verse. I personally have found it beneficial. The key is consistency. I try to review verses at least once a day, but preferably 2-3 times a day. Update: I memorized over 230 verses in the first year. I work on the most recent new verses on the weekends and I try to review all of my memorized verses over the course of the weekend. It's so good to know verses that help me in my everyday life and which come in handy for teaching my children or encouraging others. Update: Now 2 years later, I have over 400 memorized verses!

Such an important App!. This is really a wonderful app. It helps a person memorize whichever verse(s) they want with such a gentle and gradual progression. It learns how well you actually have memorized it, and calculates how often you should review it. Even two to three minutes before going to bed can do the job! My recommendation is to make yourself redo it every time you make a mistake, even on the “insignificant words” like “that” or “so that”. I found that I memorized it faster when I was careful about the details. It’s incredible how the Lord will bring up occasions for which having the verse you took the time to memorize can benefit yourself, used in encouraging others, witnessing, or rebuking the lies of the enemy. I never realized JUST how much of a treasure it is to have verses put to complete memorization rather than just a paraphrase or Googling it. There is such a difference. If you don’t know where to start, memorize a Psalms and pray the Psalms. I love to make them personal like Psalm 5:8 “Lead me , LORD because of my enemies (I might say here instead of enemies “because I have been dealing with discouragement or whatever it is I’m going through) make Your way straight before me.”

Finally, A tool to help me keep The Word in my Heart. I don't know about you, but I have memorized Scripture in the past, only to forget it within a month. Well, Scripture Writer has figured out what is needed. It seems that the more accurately I can quote the verse determines the next time I need to review it, so I don't have to review 20 scriptures in one day to keep them in my heart, nor do I need to set a reminder for a particular verse. Scripture Writer does all of that for me. Now I will admit, I first thought it odd and a waste of time to have 3 levels of memorization. But now that I have used it on several verses, I can't see a better way to memorize the Word of God. What is really amazing is that now that Scripture is "staying"in my heart and mind, I'm able to spend more time understanding what the LORD wants me to gleam from His word for my life. Radically changed my life, and I needed to change. I hope you enjoy this life changing app as much as I have.

Decent but could use some improvements.. It’s a little outdated and could use some updates for instance — being able to check the progress of other participants in a group as well as making it a little user friendly. The app I was using before this was much easier to navigate, however, I liked that this app allowed me to change versions for free and not be stuck memorizing KJV. It also does not show up in my notifications. When I search it in settings to turn on the notifications, it is not showing up. I’m still trying to learn how to navigate things like how to stop reviewing a verse our small group is no longer learning but still keep it as a verse that I have memorized. I don’t know. It’s just confusing maybe a tutorial would be great to include as well. Nonetheless, the app gets the job done and I’m still learning the verses. Just wish it was easier.

Keeps me coming back. I have tried several different apps for scripture memory and this is by far the best. I have memorized over 500 verses in less than 2 years. I almost never miss a day. I really appreciate that when I get a word wrong, my phone vibrates and the correct word goes right in. On the other app I was using I had to keep guessing until I got it right. I also appreciate that the place where I got the word wrong stays shaded in for a few reviews to help me remember. I appreciate that the app gives grace for typos. The other app didn't and I would be so tense during review, worried about not hitting the key exactly. It became more about finger placement and less about learning verses. The other app made me feel like I was always being tested. This one makes me feel like I'm being instructed. Huge difference. I LOVE the review schedule. Every morning I wake up and my verses for the day are waiting. As I master them and recall them accurately, they are scheduled for review less and less frequently. That way I can concentrate on the ones I am learning. update: still love it but lately my longer passages (whole chapters) have started disappearing during review. The page goes blank and I have to start over. So I contacted support and they fixed it with their next update. These guys are amazing. And they added a lock button. I love the lock button!!

Great but no support. This is a really helpful tool to assist in a systematic approach to memorizing scripture. I really like the approach and it has become invaluable to me. My only complaint is that the totals it shows in various categories are wrong. For example, I have a category with 8 verses, but the count shows 9. The “uncategorized” category shows that there are 88 verses but there are only 69. “Uncategorized” shows more verses than the master list! I have emailed support several times over the past couple of years and they always respond that they will contact the developer, but it never gets fixed. This should be an easy fix.

Great app!. Scripture Typer is the first app that I bought and I have been using it since October 2015. After I reached 50 verses (you can keep it free by deleting verses that you've memorized and learning new ones), I wanted to keep track of what I had learned. ST can be really motivating to learn scripture when you're keeping track of your rank and stats (that can be addicting and stressful) or you can just memorize to get the scripture in you and not worry about the rest. I like the fact that I can get credit for hitting the right letter even though I hit the wrong adjacent letter accidentally. It's easy to do on a small phone or with big clumsy fingers. It's not a perfect system because only you know whether or not you truly have it memorized. There are other apps out there that make you have to be perfect in order to get credit for memorizing. This was precisely why I changed to Scripture Typer, I didn't like that frustration of hitting the wrong letter accidentally. I will say though, when using your computer you do have to hit the right letter. Over all, ST is a great helper when it comes to memorizing scripture and I have memorized more than I ever thought I could!

Speech, recognition!. Emphasis on the recognition. I requested that Bible memory implement voice recognition back in 2019. The team at Bible memory came through. And with a strong implementation, might I add? This feature genuinely has improved my scripture, memory and significantly I have a long been a fan of being able to memorize scripture by myself when I am not under the pressure of a group setting. But I have found that time more difficult to get as I take on more responsibility in my life but there’s new feature makes it extremely easy to work on scripture memory on the go. Thank you so much to the team at Bible memory. From Chase.

Love it, but it needs one major change. I use this app almost every day and I really love it overall. What I don’t love having my percent correct dinged for typos. If there were a setting where you could have no typos - in other words, the word just doesn’t appear until you find the correct letter - it would be ideal. Perhaps there could be a “hint” button if you don’t remember the next word and using hints would lower your percent. This way one would get a much more accurate view of how well they actually know the verse - and those who use it for typing practice would still have that option. In my opinion, this would make the app practically perfect.

This app is amazing. I highly highly recommend this app. In fact, I tell all of the women I disciple to download it. You have the ability to change the settings to cap the max number of days between review (for example, you can set it to where you review verses you know every three days, which keeps them fresh on your mind). I never write reviews (or pay for apps), but this app has been instrumental in helping write scripture on my heart and reminding me of His Word. God is good. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (heb 13:8). He is with us. We are building the Holy Spirit’s vocabulary as we memorize His Word, and this practice will not return void. All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so that we are thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Tim 3:16-17). Thank you to the creators of this app for helping us to keep this Book of the Law always on our lips, meditating on it day and night so that we may be careful to do everything written in it (Joshua 1:8).

Up your game!. I love this app! I am successfully memorizing scripture. As Proverbs 22:17-18 states, “pay attention and listen to the sayings of the wise; apply your heart to what I teach, for it is pleasing, when you keep them in your heart, and have all of them ready on your lips.” The app gives you 4 ways to build your confidence and skill with each scripture. I will admit on occasion the app does not acknowledge an incorrect keystroke as an error (when it should). And the voice recognition option can be problematic, but I think this is the case with all voice recognition as it learns your speech patterns. Overall I am extremely pleased and proud of what I have managed to memorize. This is a good way to keep your memory sharp with aging. And an awesome alternative to playing mindless games on your phone.

Excellent—I use it every day!. I’m so thankful to have discovered the website and then the app (the free version is great as long as you add verses from a desktop). I use it every day, and it has helped me store up over 2,000 verses in my heart “that I might not sin against God.” It’s helpful to learn verses but especially to review them. I have set a max frequency of 3 months, so I’m reviewing my verses at least that often. I also recommend setting it to just type the first letter (I first tried the setting of typing all the letters for accuracy!). I’ve recommended this site/app to lots of people. When I taught at a Christian school, my fifth graders would get on every Friday to master that week’s verse and to review previous ones. Now hat I have homeschool, it’s part of the weekly routine for my 9yo son. There are other good memory apps out there (I personally know the designer for VerseLocker) and some that are more game-y, but I’m so thankful that this is the one I use. Before, I had no idea how many verses I knew, but this site now has the catalog of all the verses I’ve ever learned from multiple different translations. (I especially like that I can add NIV84 verses). I could go on and on... excellent program, excellent app Thank you, Scripture Typer/Bible Memory!!!

Works for me. I’d been using another memory app but it was subscription based and didn’t properly support Mac or iPad (I use iPad/iPhone/Mac depending on my mood and location) so I decided to make the switch to Bible Memory Pro. A very reasonable cost for the “pro” version and NO wretched recurring subscriptions. I also like that it reminds me to review and automatically adjusts the review frequency, depending on how successful I am at recalling the passage. I can’t remember where I left my car keys and memorizing Scripture is a tough gig for my aging memory, but a few minutes every day is all it takes with an app like this. I have an unbroken string of 375 days on my previous app and ~70’ish verses so far. I’m looking forward to continuing that string and adding more with BMP.

Scripture Memorization Made Easy. I have made several attempts to re-establish the habit of scripture memorization but would end up getting bogged down as I added more texts to my list. I would get to the point where I didn't look forward to reviewing and would eventually stop. With this app, the review is staggered and you become part of a community of believers working toward the same goal. With many approaches to memorization made available, this app makes the process fun, inspiring and challenging at the same time. Rather than walk around with 3x5 cards or a notebook, everything is right at your fingertips wherever you go. I like the heat map, drawing and collections features and the fact that you can chart your progress. You can purchase the Pro version and share it with 4 other people for free! However, if you are a bit hesitant, download the free version. I'm pretty sure you will want to upgrade soon. I don't have the time to share all the great features about this app. You will just have to try it for yourself.

Love It. I have felt inept at being able to commit scripture to memory...and with Scripture Typer, I am having success for the first time! Are there things I would like to be able to do?....Absolutely! I would like more versions to be available, or at least have the ability to label the source for a version I have manually imported with something besides "other", but it is fabulous as it is. The rapid fire for learning and reviewing the bible reference...the ability to draw a picture (which I use to reflect the context of the verse) are amazing. The ability to now meditate upon God's word while I am not holding my phone (or Bible), has had a profound impact on my spiritual life, my peace, and my ability to integrate my spirituality into everyday activities. Thank you!

Outstanding!. With the latest updates, I can say from the bottom of my heart that this app is outstanding! I learn best by writing, and I had been hand writing to memorize the book of Philippians. When it became too time consuming (as in hours and hours), I switched to using this app, and I set it so that I can just type the first letter of each word. This way I can keep up with my memory work and hide God's word in my heart to the max (of my 61-year-old brain)! His word transforms us, purifies our hearts, and lifts our spirits. What better way to saturate your mind with the truth of Christ than to be able to learn and review His Word so efficiently and still have to time to get on with the responsibilities of the day.

Exceptional App. For years I have tried to memorize scripture only to end up frustrated by my lack of consistency and retention. (I’m not a flash card kinda guy) Things changed dramatically when I found the Bible Memory App. If you will devote the time and be consistent this app will help you memorize scripture. It is intuitive, flexible, motivating and the enhancements are well designed. I went from a handful of well known verses J3:16, to over 700 verses and the entire chapter of Romans 8 ( My favorite NT) I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been living life and a verse will come to mind for that specific moment. If you have the slightest interest in memorizing Bible verses, get this app, and have fun while arming yourself with the word of God implanted in your soul. Easily one of my top three Bible apps; nicely done!

Organized, convenient, easy!. I love this app not only for helping me to memorize verses, but also to organize verses into categories, so I have a library of what God’s Word says by topic. I also LOVE how easy it is to import the verses, even picking which translation you’d like to use. And paying for the upgrade to have unlimited storage is totally worth it! If you’re wondering how you might use it: I have parent folders like “prayer” with folders inside like “children” where I keep building a library of verses to pray over my children. I have another folder called “freedom” and sub folders like “fear” where I continue to add verses that will help me find freedom from fear or anxiety. It’s an amazing tool to keep memorizing and expanding my understanding of God’s Word as I see verses side by side and gain insight into the consistent messages and themes by category. Highly recommend!

Answer to Longing. I started a long term goal for myself to memorize as much Bible as humanly possible. I bought many notebooks and ink pens to facilitate the memorization. I would handwriting the scripture daily over and over. I soon realized that I would not get very far in my desire by my main memorization method of handwriting the scripture because it took me about 45 minutes - 1 hr to handwrite a single chapter from memory. More chapters memorized would mean hours of handwriting. Oh how I wished that there was some type of electronic app that would help facilitate Long Term Bible Memorization. Then one day I google “Bible Memory” hoping something would turn up that I could us, and to my surprise the first entry that appeared was “The Bible Memory App”. Yay!!! This app is exactly what I needed to continue my goal of Long Term Bible Memorization. This is who technology should be used!!!! To propagate the good news of Jesus Christ and to facilitate hiding God’s Word in the heart!!!!! And to see all the users of this app is encouraging! This app should replace all the bad habit apps out there as folk spend more time and attention to the beautiful Word of God

Life-changing app. I use this app every weekday morning, and it always starts my day out right. I choose scripture that relates to what I’m dealing with and pray the scripture into my life. Besides the “mental” learning, I am actually growing spiritually. Through this app, God is growing my faith and peace and increasing my trust. This app has deepened my prayer life and changed my life. Besides these most important things, I was impressed when I reached out to see if the developers could add the ability to test knowledge of the scripture address. Since the addresses stick around until you type your last few words, I didn’t feel I was learning them that well. They replied that you can be tested to learn the verse, by choosing “Reference Test” on the type screen. I’m so glad the app includes this feature, and I was impressed with their quick response.

Not perfect but functional. Edited review - In response to my original review and the email I sent, the developers restored my account to the pro version, which I appreciate. My only complaint is that after reinstalling the app I can only access my old verses on the desktop version and not the app despite syncing. Original review - I bought this app to memorize Bible verses. After using the lite version and reaching the limit of 50 verses, I bought the pro version. However, I only had access to the pro version for 1 day before it reverted to the lite version. I deleted the app and reinstalled it to see if that would help, but I ended up losing all my verses despite my having an account. I will no longer use this app and I am still waiting for App support to respond to my email about this issue.

I've mastered over 700 verses in two years!. This App is great! I've tried many ways over the years, but this method beats them all! The first few weeks, I mastered 50+ verses, mostly old favorites. I think the best way to start is to use those familiar verses you love and have come to know over the years. Then add to that. I'm so pleased and thankful that after two years, I have mastered over 800 verses! I'm 67 years old, and can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday, but God helps me memorize His precious Words!! The review system is amazing! ST keeps up with when you need to review certain verses, and voila...they appear on your review list, ready to work on. I use my cell almost exclusively! It's my favorite 'game' and the way I love to fill up empty minutes in the waiting room or waiting in line. You may want to simply brush up on your favorites or encourage your kids or grandkids to hide God's Word in their hearts! Your goal might be low or high, try ST! You'll have a song in your heart before long! God's Word is so important to me. I want to keep it close to my heart and soul! ST helps me hide His Word in my heart on a daily basis. The Holy Spirit then pulls these verses out of my soul when I need them or when I am helping someone during difficult times. I highly recommend ST Pro! So Blessed! 'Dot'

Great way to memorize scripture!. Years ago when I was being discipled, my friend and mentor recommended this app, which back then it was called Scripture Typer. A great way to memorize scripture. I have since shown it to the men that I have had the opportunity to disciple, and several have used it. I have learned to memorize scripture various ways since, and rarely use the type method, on this app, but having the flash card capability is awesome, as you review daily. I like the way that you can adjust the repetition for verses that you know well and those that you don’t. You can set up new verses to review daily, but verses that you know well you can review weekly, bi weekly, every month, etc….. great app, great tool!!

I love the Bible Memory app!!. What an amazing gift using current technology to assist in hiding God’s Word in my help. I especially like the feature that allows me to vocally review the verse rather than typing it. The only issue I have is that sometimes the voice recognition used is sometimes to “loose” and it allowed things close but not accurate to pass, also would automatically fill in the words when repeating the verse for extra practice. Now, however, it seems to be a little too “tight” in that you sometimes have to repeat the word over and over again until it becomes frustrating. But, I highly recommend this app, it is definitely a blessing!

Keep Your Memorized Verses Current. Scripture Typer has a lot of great feature, but my favorite is the flexible review feature. Before ST I would be frustrated because I could not keep verses I had memorized current. I forgot the. As fast as I learned new ones. ST has a progressive review schedule that allows the review period to get longer as you demonstrate mastery. If you do struggle with an old verse, you can easily reset to more frequent review. Recently I was in a Bible study where we were memorizing a passage. I locked each verse on "Daily" until I had mastered the entire passage. Before ST I struggled to keep 5 verses current. With ST I have a catalog of over 100 verses current. This really is helpful as you seek to counsel Biblically.

I use this app every day. I have used this app almost every day for the past five years. Reviewing and meditating on scripture has changed my life. I am constantly challenged by listening to what God has to say to me. I recommend this to everyone who wants to listen. I would like to make a suggestion. It would be fun for me to have an additional color on the history graph. Would it be possible to add a different color for the second step “memorize it” instead of having “master it” and “memorize it” the same color. While learning a new verse I will “memorize it” every day until I “master it” sometimes it takes a couple weeks depending on how many verses I am reviewing. God bless you, Howie

Disappointed at cost to upgrade. I was getting to like the app and decided to upgrade. But the cost to get it adding NASB was too much when it didn’t even allow you to listen to the Bible when driving, mowing the lawn, working in the garage. It is not just important to memorize the Bible but also to understand all of God’s nature. I hold reading and listening higher then memorizing. With my Bible app I can look up a verse by knowing a part of the verse and search for a word or phase. But I would love to be able to have verses memorized also. Let me know when you have added the ability to listen to the Bible. I will keep your app on the back burner for now. I am using an app that allows me to record and play back. A have recorded 20 verses I want to memorize. I have made up flash cards also by pasting a verse into a label printing software and printing the label to put on index cards. I really like your concept better as it is all together. I am retired so I can’t spend the money on top of tithing like I used too. I have to save back for it and it needs to be worth it. Hope you can get the audio version on your app for that big a price.

Amazing. This app has taken me from knowing that I need to memorize scripture and not having the motivation, to being almost addicted to memorizing. It is very well thought out and makes memorizing multiple verses at a time possible. I love the spaced repetition that has you recite verses less and less frequently as you master your verses. The app is so great that I wish they’d make a few tweaks to make it more versatile. If they just made it possible to name texts and not require verse numbers, you could then more easily use this app to memorize creeds, confessions, or paradigms for language learning. And right now there’s not an app that I would rather use than this for all my memorizing.

An Essential tool. This app is amazing, there is nothing like it and it’s helped me tremendously. I have grown in the presence of God and I have grown in character you can drop in verses of scripture (in parentheses you can add personal commentary like this ,Very important ) if you are creative you can add background images drawings to enhance learning. I would like to see one feature added to this app a print feature where I can print out and have a hardcopy just in case I ever need one for my personal files. Oh and of courseIt works seamlessly with all my devices! I have recommended this app to others my son has it also and I can send him my files this is great!Thank you again to the creators of this app thank you thank you thank you I will thank you again in heaven one day!

Free is what I need. Everything that is free: including the app itself, the KJV of the Bible and that is pretty much it. It reminds you when to study your verse, but when I click on the notification, it wants me to pay for something and I have to close the app and reopen it to get to the verse. Besides that issue I think it is a pretty awesome app for memorizing verses. The level system is my favorite part. Every time you memorize or practice a verse you get points depending on how well you memorized it. If you get a certain amount of points you level up. This levels system is only for an achievement idea rather than actually changing anything in the app itself. But it is kind of motivating. And if you like video games and leveling up, like I do, this is a fun way to memorize verses. It really helps and is a fun way to memorize verses.

What a Blessing!. I have often tried to memorize scripture but it is a slow process. This app makes it so convenient that I work on my verses nearly every day! I’m amazed at the number of verses I’ve been able to learn in the two years since I purchased the app. Not only that, but the speech-recognition feature in the latest upgrade is the one feature I would have recommended to the developers. Now that it’s been included I can’t think of a single way to improve the app. Thank you for your work - it has been a huge blessing to me and I’ve been able to encourage others to store up his word in their heart as well! I strongly encourage anyone who can afford to upgrade to a “Pro” account to do so. You will not be sorry!!

Best Ever. If you want to memorize scripture, I strongly encourage you to download The Bible Memory app. It took me a few weeks to really get the hang of how to use it but once I did I’ve never had a more powerful tool in my memorization belt. After trying out the free version, we paid for the upgrade. It provides a rich assortment of visual, auditory, and kinetic tools to reinforce learning/memorization. My wife and I are memorizing the book of Ephesians now and this tool makes it so much easier. My wife is very good at memorizing scriptures and references while I have difficulty remembering numbers and references. So over the years I’ve had more success just memorizing a whole book without the references. Whichever style suits you best, this tool makes the whole process much easier. The first one I memorized was the book of James over 30 years and without any tools it took over a year. I’m expecting the process to be shorter now and for the memorization to go deeper so I retain it without any errors for much longer.

This App is for anyone who thinks that can’t memorize.. I struggle to memorize and especially retain what I memorize a week later. I love that it has the typical way where you type the first letter which is nice because you can type it the speed you would say it instead of having to type out the whole word, but then there are extra ways if you are struggling with a verse. You can draw some little pictures to help you, you can record yourself saying it and then it will play over and over, or you could make up a little jingle and record that. With this app I have been able to build up to memorize whole chapters which I never thought I could do. The system of reviewing verses also helps them to stick.

Probably the Best Bible Memory Tool Out There. I am quite a fan of this app. Easy to import verses. Good startup program for new verses. Good spaced repetition for verses you have already learned. I wish the developer would keep adding to it though. It would be nice if they created a flash card module. It could be called “Keyphrase Cards” or something. You know how you will know the “idea” of a verse but not know the verse reference itself? Even if you have memorized the verse you can’t get it to mind. For instance… someone could be telling you how you shouldn’t judge anyone at all for anything…but you know Jesus said to “judge with righteous judgement” somewhere. But where? Even if you memorized the verse when in that situation…you don’t know where it is. If you could create Keyphrase flash cards though you could overcome this problem. You would train your mind that “judge with righteous judgement” is John 7:24. Then, if you memorized that verse…you could quote it. Hopefully this kind of functionality will be added in future versions.

Great but one small suggestion. This app has been great! It is very intuitively designed. It has great features in assisting one as they learn. I find i can recall and memorize scripture much quicker than before. One suggestion though, and I believe it would be simple on their part, would be to allow us to add customized review times. As in, instead of just allowing us to only use the already made review increments (i.e., 1 day, 2 days, etc...) let us add our own as well to make better use of SRS learning methods (Spaced Repetition Sequence). I would love a feature that allowed me to chose 20 minutes, 1 hour, 9 hours to enable the app to remind me at those times. This would be particularly helpful when adding new verses. Afterward the options they provide are great and ample. It is only in the initial stages that a small increment would be helpful! Also: when I turn “Dark Mode” on when using my iPad horizontally the side bar remains white. Just a note on something maybe to fix later. P.S. Would it be too hard to add Spanish and other language options as well?

Best I have seen for scripture memorization. I have the paid version so my review applies to this. Pretty comprehensive. It allows you to import just about all the major translations. You can vary the frequency of your review for each scripture. You can edit the scripture to just the portion you want to memorize. You can sub categorize. It is points based so you get a little incentive for your memorization. There are groups you can join. It has a settings function to change variables such as how much accuracy is passing example 80% 90% 100% There is a beep notification for mistakes if you desire. You can choose between typing the entire scripture or just the first letter. Overall a thoughtfully planned and useful tool for memorization. It has been an immense help. I use it several times a day and never get tired or discouraged.

Lacking but has potential. I downloaded this app hoping to sample its features before I buy but the only feature available without paying for the pro upgrade is to download and memorize verses manually like I already do in my Bible app. And then I realized if I upgraded to Pro for $10 I would still have to pay an additional $10 to get a version other than the KJV! What is this Victorian England?! People already think the Bible is irrelevant, go ahead and spout some KJV “thees” and “thous” at them and see the sparks of interest die! Even without having sampled the features I might have upgrade to the Pro version to support Christian business if I could have chosen one version I wanted but as it stands now, I’ll move on to another app that won’t “Nickel and Dime” us.

Perfect for memorizing. I had a bible memory app. It was really outdated and full of bugs. I needed something to help me get back into scripture memorization and found this app. I paid the full price for it but it’s worth it. You can add any verse from a number of translations. You have three levels of learning and then get reminders to review it. The interface is very simple. You just type the first letter of each word to help you remember it. It works great this way. If you have fat thumbs then it will still count if you hit the wrong letter. For example, if you meant to type “t” but hit “r” or “y” by mistake it will still count.

Best Memory App for my sometimes tired mind!. Being over fifty it seems a bit more difficult to memorize verses than it should be (Yes, I’m doing brain food like B12 and DHA!) But this App has helped me so much! I started easy on myself and now am amazed at how many verses are in the rotation! Once the verse I chose to memorize is imported, I read it aloud a few times then record it. On the second step the app prompts you with every few words. The third step you type it yourself. Wrong words can be set to vibrate. (Our son has used the app for memorizing school projects!) On a tired day I might just listen to the audio recording a few times, so progress can be made even then! The points system becomes motivating over time!

Great Study Aid. I've been using ST Pro for some months now. It has really helped revive my memory practice. I can't always whip out 3x5 cards, but my phone is *always* with me. The wrong-word feedback, the stepwise learning, and the gradually extended review frequency (which you can always override with a personal review) are great features. I also appreciate the ability to adjust the accuracy requirement so you can cut yourself a little more-or-less slack as you see fit. Great app; I'll be "pitching" it to others at my church! UPDATE: I've appreciated the ability to hold verses at a lower review frequency so I can focus on new verses. UPDATE UPDATE: Please provide a night mode option! Really would prefer white text on black background when I’m using in a dark environment. 24 Sep 2022 UPDATE: Dark Mode has arrived! Thank you! Took a while to deliver but thrilled to see it. Added back 5th star! 😉 And voice recognition, too? Yay! I’ve yet to try it out but looking forward to it.

Very helpful. This app has been an amazing source of help to me in a very short space of time. To be able to memorise from a variety of translations, and replay verses verbally multiple times on a loop is fantastic. I love the way you can flip through the equivalent of memory cards very quickly and it is easy to just keep on adding verses plus you can put them in categories. The techniques for committing verses to memory are excellent and I know that I will gift this app to a number of friends. Well worth the investment that is ultimately going to help equip you to commit God's word to your heart and mind.

Good memorising. Very quick and easy to use!

Excellent!! :). This app is great. Truly a top app for scripture memorisation. Worth the money to use it for the engraving of God's word in one's heart!! Totally recommended!!!! I'd like to suggest the following: An ability to set up review timeframes in a customised way. For example, I'd like to review a text everyday for 60 days and then review it only weekly for another 60 days. Then place it back on to a stack that is full of verses that I have truly engraved in my heart word perfect with their reference as a back review. This would be beneficial for any one who wants to customise their review timeframes and personal memorisation programs. Happy to clarify any questions on my suggestion. God bless you abundantly for such great app!! Dan :)

Great, but glitchy. I love this app, but recently on the Apple Watch when I tap to reveal words, I only get and some HTML language. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app but it isn’t fixed. I also tried tapping ‘Technical support’ on the iPhone app but it didn’t respond. I’d love any help. Thanks

First time. Great but such endurance

wonderful app for my walk with God. God bless them for their work.

My favourite app. A VERY helpful tool keeping God’s Word in my head and wrapped around my heart. Very pleased I discovered this app. W.

Andrew. Love it - so hopeful - thanks!

Turbo charge your scripture memorisation. I love this app! So easy to memorise scripture. I love the 3 step process of typing it out with the full verse, then with prompts and then from memory. Amazing!

Love this app!. This is really getting me focused on learning scripture and I'm loving it!

Awesome app. I don’t usually write reviews, but I use this app every morning. It’s a great way to memorise scripture.

Josiah’s. It’s great for me because I can learn really fast.👍🏼

Loving it. Brilliant, my pastor recommended it and I can see why

Great app. Highly recommended app easy to work with. I would like to see a function that I can work on the that specific difficult verse that can make that verse line up with the reviews of the other verses in that chapter and after the whole chapter is equal it be comes a folder with all the verses of that chapter come up for review at the same times so when revising the chapter you have them all lined up without missing a verse that will need to be reviewed a few days later! But it still is a great app! Blessing from above!

Great working app. Really like how this app works, productive for memory

Best memory tool ever. Dyslexia has hindered my reading ability but with this app I’ve increased my vocabulary and speed of reading biblical text.

Really helpful. I have been using this app for some years now and find it a great way of filling my heart and mind with God’s word. I may not always remember the verses perfectly and sometimes mix them up but still God blesses me with his truths when I need to replace my messages to myself with his.

Great tool for Bible memorisation!. I love this app because it can be used anywhere and is an effective tool for memorising Bible verses. I have learnt whole passages from the Bible with Scripture Typer and they are kept fresh in my mind with its great review system. I highly recommend this app for anyone who wants to learn the Bible. It is fun and rewarding too!

Blessing. This app is a must for all Christians. It is simple to use and makes Bible memorization a part of your daily devotions. If you have never memorized passages of the Bible before, I encourage you to try this app. Before you know it you will have committed a number of verses to memory. Praise God for this app. 2 Timothy 2:15

Great. Really great app for memorising Scripture; you can use it off line, it saves where you’re up to, and it’s an easy and useful way to fill in spare minutes at the bus stop, etc.

Works the Word with me. Enjoying challenging myself to memorise Scripture very much with this app. No gimmicks, no distractions, just easy fixing of God’s Word in my memory which makes the verses and content accessible for application during my day.

Excellent ✨. Love the app. The best one available IMO! It works beautifully providing both visual and also recording your own verses for the auditory learners. Excellent!!! A must have for scripture memorisation. You won't be sorry.

Great app to use n memorise. My friends and i are addicted to this app. We are memorising bible verses nonstop through the day with this. This is a replacement for games online that does what proverbs 7:1-3 says.

Blessed SDA. Thank you for fixing the glitz! The program is working better than ever now.

Highly Recommended. I love this app! It's so simple to use and it's filled with excellent features, making scripture memorisation easy and fun. I like the feature where it provides every second word during the memorisation phase; it's a great prompt. I like the fact that I can record each verse verbally so I can play them back to myself (saying and hearing it out loud really helps me remember a verse). I like the fact that recommended verses are already available in categories, although of course I can add my own. I especially love the fact that the app lets me know when it's time to revise each verse again so I keep them fresh in my mind. Overall, I cannot recommend this app highly enough. Apart from my Bible app, it's my most used app on my phone.

Great app. Really good Easy to use

Highly recommended. I’ve had this app for a while now, until God called my undivided attention & need to refocus & listen to him through the Bible🙏🙏 hence allow me to use the this app, helps in memorising verses as well. I bought the NIV and it’s all up and running. Praise the Lord.🙏 Bless the creator of this app. 🙏

Life-changing App!. A fun, effective and easy way to memorize scripture. Using this daily and really noticing the benefits and power of the Word in my life!

Beautiful way to hide God’s Word in your heart. Grea

Great memory app! Keeps crashing however when I try to add a new verse. Having issues with the app at the moment. Has worked perfectly until now, however now it keeps crashing every time I try to add a new memory verse.

This is the one. I've tried quite a few other bible memory apps but this one is versatile, configurable and has a number of different memory methods. If you want to hide God's word in your heart then go on and pay a few dollars.... Like me you will be glad that you did.

Love it!. A great way to fortify my mind with the Word of God... I don't have to worry about remembering when or which verses to review as the app does all this for me. I can spend my mental energy directly on meditating on God's Word. Thank you for your ministry :)

Makes memorising scripture a little easier. What I like about this app. is that it makes memorisation easier, more convenient. I enjoy using it. It reminds me when I need to practice.

Best app for bible verses. Really good application to review bible verses and keep them top of mind each day. Thank you for enabling the word in us to start a movement.

A Very Happy User. We have had this app for months and love it. Especially for reviewing scripture passages learnt. It automatically works out when you need to review, but you can choose when to as well You can type it, say it or use flash cards (and possibly other ways I am still to discover). I am yet to explore all the functions of the latest update. It is quite versatile. You can have multiple accounts linked to it. And you can easily switch between them. You can use it off line too, and then take a few moments to sync it when you're ready. A great way to keep scripture in mind. Out of the 4 Scripture memory apps I have tried in the last 3 or so years this is by far the best.

Simple but powerful verse memorisation. In one week my verse memorisation progress was rejuvenated. A great feature is the ability to check you know every single word correctly by typing in the first letter of each word. This is almost as fast as typing, but is more accountable and accurate than just trying to check myself without looking at printed verse cards. Adding new verses with automatic importing from the Internet is quick and straightforward. The tips and hints for first users are superb. The points system is a good encouragement (although our main motive for memorisation should be to have God's Word readily accessible to meditate upon and share with others). Great work app developers!

The best. Look no further. The best Bible memory app you'll find. Hands down.

Brilliant!. I love that you can review single verses or the app will combine subsequent verses to help with long text memorisation.

A great app. This app is great to use and focuses my attention on scripture. It is full-featured, having the three different levels of review and being able to import multiple translations of a verse. It can be a bit slow to import verses one-by-one but apart from that I have no complaints!

Incredible App - has been a huge blessing. Definitely worth investing the the pro version. Have been using this app for only just over 2 months now and have been able to memorise more scripture than I would have ever thought possible. Has brought far more depth to my prayer, devotional and relational life and makes memorisation a really achievable thing. Thanks so much to the team behind this incredible application :)

Great for individual verses. I now have a bank of individual verses (and short chunks). One slight frustration is that when learning a who passage (eg Psalm 23), it goes verse by verse, including the reference each time which makes it tricky to get the flow

Very effective!. I have used this app since the beginning of 2022, and have noticed that I have been revising and reciting bible verses with confidence and accuracy. I recommend this app for anyone wanting to memorise the bible, as you do not have to spend money to get an effective service. However, spending that extra money will greatly further your ability to memorise, and I would recommend sacrificing a small amount of your money to upgrade. Thanks for creating such a great app!

All I could ask for in a scripture app. Memorising scripture is so easy with this application that I use it almost every day. Thank you for all the hard work you have put into this.

Great App!. Great App, having now learnt quite a few scriptures I love to pray using God’s own Word. Although at times I find it hard to recite verbatim, which usually occurs when I try and show off my new skills to impress the “Cook” (Wife); yet the Word seems to somehow drop into my heart and becomes effective for a prayer of righteousness. After all it is the inspired Word of God, maker of Heaven and Earth, so it is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction and training in righteousness. What more could you want?

Excellent App!. I love this app! I feel truly blessed. I have always had difficulty remembering verses and with being consistent in review. With Scripture Typer I have now been able to review and learn verses daily for over six months!!! This is a major improvement for me. The app is easy to use and verses are easy to download with a good number of Bible versions. I would highly recommend this App to both the beginner and those seasoned in the art of Bible memory.

Best bible memorization app!. A definite five stars!

Evan N. Would also be a good idea to include the verse reference in at the beginning of the verse in Master It. This make you think "where is it found" when you go to quote the verse. At the present time I find myself reciting the verse but then having trouble remembering the reference.

Very useful, making memorising verses on the go very practical. I love this system they ha e developed and find that it helps my learning style nicely. I use public transport a lot and this app is perfect for those moments. I'd love an option that allows you to tag a key word in each verse. Overall fantastic

Brilliant. This is the greatest app. Can't wait for the update with bible reading feature / memorising in bible text.

Most wonderful app ever. Thank you so much for this app. I've tried several bible memory apps but this is the best by far. I'm learning more and more whole chapters of the bible and then reviewing these and adding more. When I was younger I tried to memorise chapters but could not. I know the Lord Jesus Christ has helped the developers to create this app so that we might hide God's word in our hearts. Bible memorisation is the first thing I do every morning now when I first wake and I enjoy it very much. Thank you to those who have developed this app. One small thing. It would be great to have a sound that beeps when using with computer for mistakes as it does for iPad app.

LOVE this app. I’v always been keen on getting the word in me and have made several mini photo album books up with favourite verses- but kind of hit and miss to review them. My husband was using this app and I was just not crazy about idea of being on the phone -to do this! But I thought I’d try - well we are hooked and love this as it gets us intentionally reviewing our verses in a fun way - my sister is now loving it too. It was a bit of a learning curve at first - but is so life giving to have verses in our hearts to pray for others naturally or to quiet our hearts and give us peace... and I may be at a level way past my husband now - so kind of a fun competition ... but really we just both love how life giving it is getting the word of God in us! Thanks - we happily upgraded and got pro and the three of us are on it - room for one more friend! Update- continues to be a top life giving spiritual tool for me -ie When I have trouble sleeping I go over some of my verses in my head and meditate on them - the peace is real.

Helpful for Bible memory. My first Bible memory app, and it does work.

Praise God. Could you add the NKJV please !?

Great app. This is a very helpful app. I like it. The only problem I have with it is that it would be nice if you could choose which version you would like to memorize the verses in. At the moment it’s only lets you memorize in the NKJV.

Pretty good... still needs some work though. I find the app very useful in helping me memorize verses, and I memorize much more than I would otherwise. I have purchased the PRO version, because I found it to be a great investment to keep all my memorized verses in one place. The gamification works great with motivation as well... but everything could be better. The UI is a bit difficult to maneuver, the dark mode isn’t really dark mode (doesn’t look the same as dark mode on other iOS devices), and really the whole app (and website for that matter) could use a design overhaul. As someone who has paid for the PRO version of this app, I would like to see an app that looks like I have paid for it. Overall though, it really is a great app, and I’m glad it’s there. There just quite a few things that could use some touch ups.

How much does this app really cost?. I just started to use this app and have not been able to figure it out. When I try to use different features there is an “upgrade” I have to purchase and it does not tell me how much each upgrade cost. It seems everything is an additional cost, even the translation I want to use. Will look for another app to use.

Makes it easy to be consistent and make progress!. The format and structure of this app is intuitive and has made all the difference between fits and spurts with little lasting memory, to now 4 months of steady progress where I am at 80+ verses of Bible memorization, with about 15 minutes each morning. Great app. Well worth the nominal price. Thank you.

It’s awesome. It is sooo awesome! I can review verses with ease and it doesn’t demand that I do it on level 3!

A Few Technical Issues. Overall I really appreciate this app. But managing verses for a group can be difficult. It does not propagate updates to verses to other devices subscribed to your memory verse list. Sometimes you simply cannot edit a verse at all. The changes cannot be saved. Other than that it works pretty well. It would be nice to see more detail about how the group is doing with the memory work, eg points and total verses.

Excellent tool. I was never a successful memorizer but this app was exactly the tool I needed. It was a little bit of a learning curve figuring out how to use the app best, not 100% intuitive, but for what it does it really really works.

The best thing to do in a line up.. I love having an app to keep me busy when I am in a line, or waiting for a moment. Make every moment holy!

Scripture Typer. I am addicted to this app because you get to memorize God's word.

Awesome app. This really helps me know the word and pray it and speak it. Makes memorization fun!!

Transforms how you interact with scripture. This is such an excellent tool for Bible memorization - it turns it into an easy regular ritual, and makes the challenge fun. I’ve been using it for over a year and still love it. And memorizing provides something study does not - I’ve had familiar passages impact my life in a whole new way. Get started today! There are a couple of minor hiccups that could use improvement - if you use the badge counter on iPhone, it doesn’t update until you enter the app.

I love this app!!!. This app has helped me memorize dozens of verses and I’m so thankful that I can use this to store up wisdom for eternity! Thank you!

Great App!. I love this! Thankyou so much for this App. It is the first tool I have ever found useful to help me memorize bible verses. It’s fantastic. I thought by I was to old to be able to remember anything. But this has been so effective. I am so glad I stumbled across it. Can’t wait to share it with my friends.

Great Value. Easy to use. Extremely helpful for me in attempting to memorize, resulting in deeper contemplation of verses...And great value!

The most valuable app I own. I have been using this app daily for years and I love it. I memorize in 5 verse chunks and review each passage at least every 2 months. The new verses I review daily. I can set each review period manually if I want. I can use any version of the Bible. This app keeps track of all this for me and all I do is look each morning for my review. Thank you!!

I love this app - would highly recommend. I love everything about this app. It has helped me tremendously in memorizing scripture. I also love that I choose different versions, and that the ESV version is free. Thanks for this app!

Not sure what pro version gets me?. I purchased pro version so that I would be able to have access to all versions of the bible. Apparently that’s not what it’s for? I only ended up being able to memorize scripture from NKJV, which was what I was using already with the lite version... Love the idea of this app, just think that $13.99 should get me all versions of the bible to memorize scripture. Please fix this issue, thanks!

How does this have good reviews? Bots?. I paid for the Pro version (still not sure how that happened) so I thought, alright I’ll give it a try. Then I discovered that unless I want to memorize the KJV I will have to pay for any other version they have. Not very a very pro version. Pro tip for this app. When you call things pro, the expectation is that you get what you need for your money. You should call it Bible Memory Verse Ancient and Basic. That is all.

Very nice app, very helpful!. I love memorizing the bible, and this app has greatly helped me!

Mr wendell. This is awesome I have never memorized so much scripture before

Disappointed. I purchased the pro version of this app right away because I liked the different ways it helped you to memorize scripture. However once I started using it I found it was not very user friendly. I’m confused why it lets you make a group but not memorize the verses within the group? Also I’m not sure if the voice recording feature works. Either way I am not satisfied with the quality of this app but I’m still playing around with it to try to figure it out.

Awesome app!!!. The $10.99 is TOTALLY worth it to have Jesus' word in my heart. Works REALLY well also. Couldn't memorize before I got this app, I'm at 31 mastered and counting. It's totally a blessing to hear someone's troubles and a verse comes to mind, it's really helpful and just encourages me and others. Thanks for the awesome app guys. If you're not sure if you should pay the $10.99 for full version, but do it, it's worth it. God bless you all!!! 1 Peter 4:8

Not intuitive, no tutorial help. I don’t know how this app got so many high ratings. I bought the PRO version and tried to figure out how to memorize and master a verse. There is zero help on figuring this out in the app. When I googled to find help their website gave 3 lines of instructions, no examples. Their website isn’t even mobile friendly. I paid $13.99 for the PRO version and they want me to pay another $13.99 to get the NIV version Bible in the app.

Best Bible memory app. This is a great memory app. I purchased the pro to get the audio feature but even the free version was very good. To those commenting on paying for Bible versions, that is only if you also want to use this app for your Bible reading. If you want to use it for memory, you can import NIV without paying for the extra version as long as you’re connected to Wi-Fi. I did this even with the free version. You can specify the version when you are adding a verse.

Amazing app!!!. Wow, I just explored this app and but more and figured out how it works. So cool! I’m sitting in bed beside my sleeping family and am able to work on Bible memory without waking them up! Also, this app works well with only one had as you don’t need to type complete words to review verses! I am going to recommend this app to many many people!! We all need to be hiding God’s word in our hearts so that we don’t sin against Him!

Two years with Bible memory. I have used this app for the past two years and I love it. The system of typing just the first letter makes the review go fast. The frequency of review does build Bible memory. Highly recommend

Simply awesome!. This tool is so complete that it makes verse memorization seem like a walk in the park. The greatest feature is the possibility to include a visual illustration to the verse thus making verse association and recollection easy. I have tried many tools and this one is by far the best. If you are looking for a meditation / memorization app, search no more!

Membership Malfunction. I do really enjoy the app but since my old phone broke I have not been able to access my account on another app. The website has my saved verses but the app does not and tells me I need to upgrade when I have already bought the full version.

Not a review but support request. I really like the Lite version. I purchased the PRO and already got charged. Other apps are accessible at this point. Not this. I need help activating the PRO version. Sent e-mails and called but no response yet. Eager to use this.

Convenient!. This has been a very good way to make intentional use of the small moments of my day. Instead of wasting my breaks at work, I have memorized over 50 verses in 2 months.

Background colour. I am not sure if this is a setting that I am missing. But my background is white and writing is a vary light gray. Impossible to read anything so you just click random spots on the screen….

Great. This app works great. I love that i can open it on several devices and its up to date. It would be wonderful if it could give random extra quizzes of verses. It would also be great if the reference test would pick up where you left off last time so that you know you get through all the verses on your whole list even if you don't get through them in one setting.

Love it, Love it, Love it!. Thank you for dark mode support. Now your loyal users can review and memorize the precious words of the Bible under the covers in three dead of night. Speech to Text recognition is accurate and innovatively implemented. Great work!

I love this app!. I love this app! Keep going!

Love it. Very helpful app. It has changed my life- this app has helped Gods Word sink into my heart and the Word of God has changed my life. Features like flash cards and heat maps are very helpful. I also enjoy being part of a group and memorizing together with others. I have used it for several years now and I love even just doing my morning Bible reading with it. If I have it complete every other word, then I have to figure out or guess every other word, and this forces me to focus on the task rather than just letting my eyes scan over the words. It has brought a new level of understanding to my Bible reading time. It hasn’t replaced my other Bible study, but it is a valuable addition to it that I would dearly miss if I couldn’t have it anymore.

bible memory PRO. Purchased bible memory pro and was billed per my account record-no icon to indicate that PRO edition available on my home screen

Favorite app afterOlive tree :). This app has helped me memorize scripture (which is life giving) and helped me and others to be encouraged and have strength in times of need! The only thing I’d add is if I had the option to recite the verse orally as well with the microphone. Great job team! UPDATE: speech, recognition has been added!!! Awesome job team!! Thank you!

My favorite app !. This app has helped me so much, with not only memorizing scripture, but remembering where the verses are found in the Bible. Thank you so much

Great way to memorize scripture. Missing dark mode, otherwise pretty good.

Helps you a bit. Since I don’t have a study buddy I can’t study the bible but this app helps a bit

Fabulous. I have been a fan of this app since version 1. It is very well thought out and executed. If you are interested in memorizing more scripture more effectively this app is a great tool to use. I try to use it every day and am very thankful for it.

I love it... but.... I loved this app until I found out that you can only have 50 free verses! I understand that you have upgrades only available for Bible Pro, but I’d take a few more ads to be able to study the entire Bible! I was very disappointed. Would have loved to give a 5 star review, but it’s just not worth it!

Very Helpful 👍🙏🏼. I found this app very helpful in memorizing mass amounts of scripture and it is totally worth it to upgrade to pro, however there are some technical issues in the settings which could be tweaked or upgraded

Great way to memorize scripture. I have always told people that I am unable to memorize scripture. Sure, I remember John 3:16 and “Jesus wept” (without the reference apparently), but I have always hidden behind this excuse. Recently, I decided I needed to do more than just read the Bible so I decided to give memorizing another try. This app was the first one I came across. I love this the mechanics of this app. First of all, the way you prove you’ve memorized the verse is not by typing the whole thing. After all, I maybe know a verse but if my typing is poor then the app wouldn’t know it! I love that I just have to type the first letter of each word. It even lets me hit an adjacent key without saying I got it wrong. Next, when I am stuck and guess at the next word, it provides the next word in red (cause I got it wrong)... much like my Sunday School teacher used to prompt me with the next word. Usually this prompts my memory and I can remember the rest of the verse. Finally, I love that I get points for reviewing and memorizing verses. As a gamer, this gives me an extra incentive to work on memorizing. :) I believe memorizing scripture is an important spiritual discipline for a believer and this app is helping me do it.

Crazy Good!. There are three different modes to practice in once the chosen verses are imported 1) type the first letter of each word while seeing it on the screen 2) see only random parts of the verse and finally 3) No hints. In all three modes the words that are missed are highlighted darker each time you miss. As you master it, and you will, it lightens up. You can invite others to make group challenges. It makes flash cards automatically too! I have used this app for times I am angry and need to remember who I am in Christ. My daughter uses it for Bible quizzing. I honestly cannot think of a thing I would change. Maybe away of using it offline?

My favorite App. I absolutely love it. I never buy paid apps but when I reached the max 50 verses, I knew I could not stop there. This app has made me passionate about memorizing scripture.

Fantastic app and a powerful tool.. I have been using the Bible memory app for nearly a year now, and it has been a tremendous blessing to me in bringing me closer to the God’s word in much greater detail. I have been using it to memorize the lectionary readings for the current week of the liturgical calendar (WELS Lutheran, so a modified Revised Common Lectionary), and it has brought me so much deeper into the text, really illuminating the reasons the wise men who edited the lectionary grouped the readings together. It forces you to go slowly, and consider how each word fits in the passage. I pair the the SMS repetition of review on this app with listening to those same pericopes in playlists on the Dwell app, and it has made for a great pair. Highly recommend the app for those who want to live and breathe the scriptures like our fathers in the faith did. The ubiquity of internet access and cellphones has certainly clouded our ability to memorize, but this app goes against that stream! Kudos to the developers.

Good and keeps getting better. I have used this app for a few years now, and it has been a game-changer for me, making the memorization of Scripture SO much easier. I think paying for the Pro version is worth every penny! I have my kids use it for their memory verses as well—you can switch between multiple accounts with the Pro version. I really like the fact that the developers are consistently updating the app and giving it better features. Great job, guys! This is just about the most indispensable app on my iPhone.

Even a pastor.... I've always struggled to keep the exact word-for-word straight in my head, especially when switching from one translation to another. The way Scripture Typer is set up, I find myself learning and remembering faster than ever before. It's really amazing! In order to take full advantage of the app, make sure you use the "flash cards" feature! It helps lock in the chapter and verse better. The free version is fully functional, but limits you to 50 scriptures. Take it from a Senior Pastor, the Pro version is totally worth the price.

Scheduling. This is a great app and has been so so useful in furthering me in my walk with God. I just wish that there was a better way to schedule the review increments for verses. It seems like they all come around at the same time. I wish that you could set them for a certain day of the week, or see how many verses you have set at 6 days versus weekly etc. I just get stressed out by the lack of organization and it makes me not want to review the verses when there’s always too many due.

Best app ever!. I’m a pastor with a desire to memorize scripture. But I am also a pastor who struggled with it because I am both ADD and dyslexic. Using the audio recorder helps me both when speak it out and also when I go back to listen to it. Something about hearing my own voice reading it makes it stick. Then using the first letter typing reinforces what I have spoken and heard and locks it in. With the help of the Holy Spirit I have used Scripture Typer to memorize hundreds of verses and even several whole chapters. Thank you to the creators of this app, for your creativity and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit!

What a difference this app has made in my life!. After years of saying I can’t memorize scripture, I discovered this app through a friend. Oh my! What a difference it has made in my life! It is part of my daily quiet time to work on memorizing scripture! My favorite part honestly! It is so powerful to hide God’s word in your heart! When my pastor shares a scripture that touches me, I write it down or type it in at the moment and add it to my “review” list. So easy to use. I could go on and on! Thankful for this tool that has drawn me closer to God.

Fantastic Tool to Memorize & Review Verses. I use this app everyday to memorize and review verses already memorized. The cost is very reasonable, especially considering how detailed and in-depth the content. You can choose your preferred Bible version and easily add collections (topical, Books of the Bible, etc.), Bible chapters, and individual verses. There are also groups that you can join that have selected verses to memorize. The app gives you reminders when specific verses are due to be reviewed- so it keeps me from forgetting what I’ve memorized. This is a very fun and easy way to review and mediate on God’s Word. I highly recommend it.

Great app. I was skeptical that memorizing verses via typing would help me really learn these verses. However, I'm happy to report that this app really works for me. I've practiced verses both in the mobile app (typing just the first letters of words) and back at the computer (typing out full words). They give me enough of a foundation that I can get the verses completely memorized by recital soon afterward. Perhaps just as important is that this app has helped me make a bit better use of my time when I have just a few minutes to spare between other activities. Rather than browsing the web or launching a game, this app has been a nice alternative.

Excellent design and features. This is a smartly designed app hat has made memorizing scripture much more enjoyable, organized and successful for me. I especially appreciate the brilliant idea to have the option to only type the first letter of each word which lets me fly through my reviews and yet, you can't fake it because if you don't know it you won't know the first letter either. And I am so appreciative of the fact that these guys include so many Bible versions from which you can choose and especially my favorite and the often unavailable in online bible resources, the NIV 1984 version which I grew up on.

Best tool out there for verse memory. When your older and in seminary, memory doesn't serve you as it once did. But Psalm 1 gives the attitude we should all have towards scripture regardless of age; blessed is the man who mediates on God's law both day and night. To mediate implies we have scripture memorized. This has been problematic for me, especially joining verses and address. However, this app has become a valuable tool in reversing that problem. And if you use it regularly you will discover what I mean. I can not recommend this any higher. Simply, effective, and easy to use.

No longer says review when I review scriptures. I sent an email and was told there would be an update and that was months ago. I was using this everyday. Will there be an update to fix this? There is an option to listen to them by audio. I like to listen to them at times and I asked why this is no longer an option and got a response that users were abusing that option. I am not sure how a user can abuse an option that the developers put on there that can be used. I thought that was a very harsh response. So, now if I use the audio it no longer says I reviewed them. Months ago I would have given this app a 5 star but no longer feel it’s a 5 star due to the response I got and no update.

Love this app. This helps keep Bible verses fresh in my mind. I cannot tell you the many things scripture has helped me get through, instead of doubting God loves me when times are difficult it has given me the peace and joy to reach out instead of murmur and complain at the loss of a child it has helped me trust His plan. Hiding the word in your heart, which this application is perfect for, gives you that “power in the blood” to overcome the war that the rulers of the darkness of this world rage against the soul of mankind. Get it, use it, and learn the art of loving God with all your soul and humankind as your siblings.

This app is such a blessing. I am so grateful to have been introduced to this app. I find that the method by which it is designed to help you memorize the verses works really well for me. In the three months I have used it, I have memorized almost 100! As I go over the verses in review, I find myself often crying with gratitude and joy. The Bible verses are, as we know, supernaturally inspired and therefore powerfully impacting. It has now been six years of continuous use of this app, and I have a treasure chest full of life-giving gems. Thank you so much to the developers of this app!

Best Bible Memory App Hands Down. I have tried almost all of the Bible memory apps out there and this is the one that has worked for me. It doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles but it is the only one that I've found that really gets the job done of helping you memorize verses. I've used it extensively for the last several years. It works very well when memorizing longer passages of scripture and lets you review a verse, section or the whole chapter. The developer is also very responsive when I've posed questions or problems. Also this is the ONLY bible memory app that I'm aware of that has an online interface and SYNCS your verses between multiple devices.

So Many Helpful Features!. I have been using this app for over a year now and bought the Pro version because I was so impressed. Our church has Scripture Memory groups and this app along with the accountability of memorizing Scripture in community has helped me be the most successful I’ve ever been in memorizing whole chapters of God’s Word. I love the way you can organize the passages you want to memorize and the different ways you can practice (voice to text, flash cards, typing, etc.). They thought of everything!

Best scripture memory app out there. For years, I've thought surely someone out there would want to develop an app that could either replace or help supplement memorization through verse packs/cards, and this app is it!! It is so well done in every detail, and after trying various other apps, this is the only one, in my opinion, that is truly effective for the Navigators style of memorization. I love it, and it's encouraged my scripture memory so much, and made it really fun and enjoyable. The huge bonus is that I can form a group and memorize alongside my memory verse partners, which is outstanding. Thanks so much for making this app! 👏🏼

Really cool app!. My apologies. I guess my phone just needed a reboot after the upgrade. Now it is working great again. I do love the app too! Great to help learn scriptures. Thanks! But the recent release (4/1/17 or so) has been terrible for iPhone 7. Please fix as I can't even use any more since it crashes after every time of going through verse. Thanks! I really like this app! It has helped me so much in memorizing scripture and even helping me with my spiritual walk. I haven't used much other scripture apps, but this works very well, the best from what I see. I highly recommend it.

Excellent!. I have never been able to memorize scripture before with any consistency. I now have 37 verses mastered in Scripture Typer. This is an excellent program and I use it regularly on both my iPhone and my iPad. It is changing my life because I have the powerful word of God, the specific words that He has given me for this time, hidden in my heart, available when I need them most. I also use collections as a way to store verses on a particular topic for quick reference. When I need peace, I go to my peace collection and review the verses I have stored there. This use is almost as valuable to me as memorization.

Update took away my Pro package perks. Support Request: This is my second request for support for the same issue. I have had this app for about a year and I purchased the Pro package when I first subscribed for $10. I was using your app to try to memorize Psalm 119 in the ESV and I had successfully memorized about 28 verses when I decided to delete my original verse selection to create the same portion of scripture in 8 verse segments to make it easier to continue this endeavor. Now I am unable to create this verse selection because your app is saying that I need to buy the ESV translation for $10. When I purchased the Pro package last year, the ESV was included and should therefore still be included now. Please correct this error, so I can continue using your app. Your app is 1 star at best if you only include the KJV.

Word of Encouragement. Just wanted to send along my praise and thankfulness for making such a wonderful use of technology. Your app continually challenges me to keep studying God’s Word and is a tremendous part in my growth in the Christian walk. If I might make a suggestion it would be to add an opportunity for the user to have the memory verse be displayed without the reference and then the user have to type in the scripture reference. I find myself many times thinking of the text but not remembering the reference. Just a thought but thanks again for a job well done.

Great app user friendly. I have been using this app for years now. I love the options for using various Bible versions and how you can set your desired accuracy level. The app is pretty user friendly and it is easy to add verses. Two improvements that could be made: make a default category in the “My Verses” section labeled “Verses Not Yet Mastered”. I sometimes want to quickly look over the verses I have already added but have not yet mastered. Currently this requires looking at the entire list of verses I have added. Second, it would be awesome to work on multiple language capabilities, for example for Mandarin or Spanish.

Memorizing Made Easy. I have memorized many Scriptures with this app in a short amount of time. I do have to discipline myself to use it (just like having an exercise or diet app), but I have it on the front page of my phone, and it's user friendly. I did buy the PRO, and it's very worth it!! They also have super customer support! I had a question that was solved quickly to my satisfaction. If you want to "hide God's Word in your heart so you may not sin against Him" and to know Him better and to be equipped to better handle the Word of truth with others, get this app...and use it. :)

Voice recognition!! Finally!!!. After using this app for a long time, I have changed my rating to a five star. A lot of the old bugs have been worked out, and it has been my only memory app for a long time. NOW THEY CRUSHED IT!!!!! Voice recognition! Not perfect, but a HUGE step in the right direction. I can review in my car and not worry about an accident. Love it. Could use better recognition on numbers; ie Psalm 147 at the beginning of a verse. Actually that would be a great update as well. The ability to put the reference at the beginning and end of the verse.

Love this!. I never thought I would be able to memorize as many verses as I have been able to. This old brain still works! The only thing I would like to change is when it marks that you have missed something and it permanently stays there. It’s distracting to me. I started in February 2021 with a goal of memorizing one verse a month, then changed it to one a week. It is now October 2021 and I have 86 verses memorized! All because of this app! This is the best money you will ever pay for. I didn’t care for the non pay one, but the pay one is amazing. Do it for yourself.

Soulfishing Ministries. Scripture memorization is one of the most important yet neglected spiritual disciplines. When sharing the gospel and preaching the verses surface to mind and this app is extremely helpful in equipping God's people to memorize the Scriptures. The guys I disciple all use this as well. Perhaps one day having a Bible will be illegal in the USA for Christians. Regardless hide God's Word in your heart because you love Him and love His Word. Please pass this app along to all that you know and encourage them to use it. This is great also for children to use as well. I thank God for the developers of this tool to memorize God's everlasting Word!!

I LOVE THIS APP. I have been trying for years to memorize scriptures. I will memorize them and will quickly forget. It has been so frustrating. However, with this app, I love the review process. Now I understand why I would memorize scriptures in the past and would soon forget them. This app makes it easy for you to go back and review the Scriptures you have already memorized. I also love the voice recording. When I wake up through the night and can’t go back to sleep, now I can play my voice recordings and listen to the Scriptures until I fall back asleep. That helps when I go back to review

Memorizing God’s word helps it become a part of you. I really like the way how this app is so thoughtful in it’s construction. You can adjust things like frequency an accuracy. Sorting verses in folders is also really useful. Many other great features for you to memorize God’s word in a way that works best for you and your goals. Using this app every morning to start my day is something I look forward to every morning! God bless this app and its producers. God bless you for diving into his Holy Word and making it a part of you as well!

Zero customer support. I have had this app for several months, but I really haven’t used it to give a proper review. I am basically reviewing the customer support. I have emailed them more than several times and again even today this has been over the last few months and I have gotten zero answers. I paid my money to get the upgraded version of the app and never received it. I only have the King James version and no help to take care of the problem not happy at all. I’ve only wrote two reviews in all my life that I can remember. positive reviews and now this is my first negative one just because it’s so upsetting to me because I cannot get anyone to return or respond to anything I send them so I am writing a review on their customer support not their app

Wonderful app. I'm thankful for this app and its ability to help me organize my scripture memory efforts. I like that I can set how frequently the verses are reviewed. I can quickly add new verses to my collections and organize them by topic or task. One feature I especially love is the "draw" option. I draw a sketch to go with many of my versus both as a meditation on the verse and to help me remember the verse. It has a lot of other features as well, but my main focus is on memorizing and reviewing versus to hide God's word in my heart. If you are motivated by stats, they have plenty of those to help you gauge your progress as well. All in all, a wonderful app!

A tool for a beautiful legacy. I have used this app for nearly 4 years. One of the most exciting things that has happened this past year is that I have been able to watch my son get going on it; then his son (8 years old) is using the app; as well as my wife and a close friend are quoting Scripture regularly. We made a group and keep one another accountable and encourage one another through the messaging function. I am so fulfilled that my family is placing the Word into their minds and hearts daily.

Excellent Tool. Do you want the absolute best tool for bible memory? Look no further: hit the download button. This is an amazing tool to assist you in your bible memory. The quick, easy input of verses, together with the timed reminders of when to review, helps to keep God’s word fresh in your mind and heart driving the movements of your hands and feet to be Jesus to the world! As James says, “Do not merely read the word and so deceive yourselves: do what it says.” What better way to have God’s word before you to live it out in every context of your day than to hide it in your heart to be pulled out as treasure! Happy memorizing!

About Scripture Typer application:. I am a senior citizen and live alone. This application has saved my life and been a companion. I just had a brain injury in March of 2018 where I lost most of my memory. Scripture Typer has helped me rebuild my mind with the Lord's help. I have now been living in my own apartment and am driving my car safely. The neurologist (lead by God) put me on a lot of natural supplements to help rebuild my brain. Contrary to previous beliefs, the brain can heal itself (partially, note partially) with the right nutrients. Yes, I still have challenges every day and am more forgetful than before. But God has greatly blessed me.

The best app I have ever used!. I am usually disappointed with any I get, but this one is just absolutely the best. It's perfectly versatile and usable and customizable. I love it! It challenges you and keeps you interested. I thought that it would hinder by verbal reiteration but it doesn't. It almost like writing the verse over and over. The only negative thing I can say is that I don't like the was the flash cards flip. If you flip left to right it will flip the card and then go on to the next card, while up and down goes to next card while on the same face. I would prefer that left/right would strictly flip the card and the only way to advance to the the next card would be to flip up and down. It gets frustrating trying to remember if you are about to flip the card or advance, hence extra annoying flips. Other than that it's great. And I'm not even using all the features like the pictures and the vocal recordings.

Voice recognition doesn’t work for me. I really like the app and it’s been very helpful in memorizing scripture. It’s unfortunate that the voice recognition will not work for me 🫤 I was very excited to see that voice recognition was being added, now I find myself totally disappointed that the new feature won’t work at all on my phone. ** Additional info for developer — iPhone 12 Pro Max running iOS 16 I was finally able to get voice recognition to work! It doesn’t seem to understand me too well but hopefully the comprehension will increase the more I use the feature. Thanks Brett!

Excellent tool. Some things I love about ST: - Review system. I like that ST keeps track of when I need to review verses so I can keep them fresh in my mind. The review frequency changes automatically based on how well you know the verse, and seems to work well. - Memorize together. It's nice to be able to memorize something as a group, even from different parts of the country, and be challenged by others' progress, and inspire others in return. - First letter review. This is an easy way to review extensive passages. I personally like to initially memorize a large passage while walking outdoors (O2 to the brain) and referring to a page of first letters, and then use ST to keep up consistent review. When reviewing, I try to speak the text out loud or at least mouth it, which helps me greatly when reciting it later. - Flash cards. These are handy for reviewing while walking, when typing would be difficult and potentially unsafe.

Watch Support and Notifications. There are so many things I appreciate about this app, but I find that I am not using it at all right now. I mainly purchased it for the ability to review verses on my Apple Watch, but the Watch verse due times are not syncing/are very buggy and inconsistent. There is also very limited capability to scroll through verses that are due on the Watch. Notifications also aren’t working on iPad Pro or iPhone SE. The app directs me to allow notifications in my device settings, but the Bible Memory App does not display in the device notifications tab. I hope these issues can be addressed.

No Room For Typos. I have enjoyed this app a lot. It is a great tool for memorizing scripture. However, there’s not much “grace” in the set-up. Since it’s an app, you learn the verses by typing. You can either set it so you just type the first letter of every word, or type everything out. I have chosen to type everything. But when you make a mistake, it counts against you - even if it’s a typo. And if you don’t get a certain percentage correct (I’ve set mine at 98%), then you have to repeat it until you do. Sometimes I have to repeat a verse 5-6 times because I make so many typos. It is very frustrating! I feel like this needs to be reassessed and corrected.

Keeps me accountable. This little tool has not only helped me commit whole chapters of Scripture to memory, it has kept me accountable to review daily, which is probably the only reason I’ve retained what I’ve learned. I appreciate the feature that allows me to set the review period, so that I can focus on newer verses and yet still return to older ones periodically. I like that I can record the verse, but REALLY wish that the verses could be reviewed by saying them rather than typing them—that would be a tougher challenge for me than the keyboard.

Scripture Memory. I have tried a few of the free verse memory apps and never had much success. A friend of mine from a discipleship group suggested this one. I use it every day and after several years have broken the 600 verse level. There are several options on how to memorize the verses and once you start learning a verse you can set it up to review the verse as often as you need to in order to commit it to memory. Memorizing scripture has given me a boldness to share my faith that I had not had before. I certainly wish I had something like this years ago.

Needs One Thing. Please, Consider making it more helpful to groups and church’s. Allow people to join private groups where leaders or everyone can see what verses each are current in. And where people can quote verses in person to a leader or to anyone and then have that person “check off” the verse within the app for that person. This would allow programs like AWANA or a recovery ministry which encourages bible memory to use the app to support there ministry. And it would allow a church to encourage people to join the in a memory program!

Pro needs an upgrade before I buy.. I really love the mechanism this app uses to help you memorize scripture. And admittedly I got super hooked on it. But now I’m really struggling to pay for Pro because I can’t just pick the translation I want to pay for. Instead I HAVE to get KJV and then pay an additional $8 for a modern translation like ESV totaling $15 for pro. No thanks. I would absolutely pay the $10 if I could just have ESV or NLT (which was available in Lite but not in Pro?!). I don’t need KJV. Please just let me pick ESV as a part of my $10 upgrade. App dev ops team - I will buy your upgrade after you fix this annoying issue! Promise! I really want to keep memorizing Ephesians! Thank you for making such a great tool. I’m hopeful about continuing to use it!

Good memorization app. Positive: adding new verses can be done from the many Bible versions available, not just the version you paid for. For example, Years ago I memorized in the King James, then the NASB, later the NIV84, and now the ESV. For one Proverb I had memorized the NIV84 but used Peterson’s “The Message” to replace one awkwardly translated phrase in the NIV84 version. So very flexible, although morphing two versions required some typing ;-) Negative: I wish I could just recite my memorized verses out loud and have the software check and see if I got it right. But the software does not seem to be set up for that.

Still Worth the price 8). Update: June 2017: I've used this app for four years now and it is hands down the best way to memorize Scripture for me. Though I wish I'd use it a bit more! That's on me though. Great app and worth every penny and that's saying a lot from someone who thinks twice before even buying a $.99 app! I can't believe how much it helps memorizing Scripture. I've had the app for about a month or 6 weeks and I've already learned about 28-30 verses! Me! The people who did this knew their stuff. It almost feels like I'm playing a game

Memorizing Scripture is Life Altering. Over the years I have minimized memorizing scripture. Since I have made it a priority, I see my trust in God and my way of thinking, my joy and the reality of a life lived with Christ expand. I’m 70 years old and although I memorized verses here and there, when I began learning larger sections and chapters something transformed. I don’t do this legalistically. I didn’t begin this until about 4 years ago. I often repent of my pride over neglecting this important work in the heart.I don’t do it perfectly, but that’s not my aim. I want the glorious truths deeply implanted in my heart. This tool has been magnificent in helping me.

App designed to destroy memory. Like most English-speaking Christians, I already know bits and pieces of lots of verses in the King James Version (KJV), and I want to perfect my recall of those entire verses and to memorize where they are found, but this app forces you to memorize the unfamiliar ESV text, and the app incorrectly tells you you're *wrong* if you quote/type the KJV wording you already know. So, instead of helping build upon existing memory, this app is designed to undo, contradict and weaken memory. Yes, you can download the KJV text as a separate "Bible memory" feature, but I don't see how to change preferences so that the KJV text is used for the main memorization tool. If such a way of changing that preference exists, then the app doesn't have an intuitive way to do it. If such features existed and were easy to find, then I would probably give this app a 5-star rating.

Grateful for this app. Been using only a couple months. It gave me incentive to memorize scripture intentionally which I hadn't done for years. It's easy to use for memorizing and fun compared to any other memory method I've tried. It's helped me memorize almost a whole chapter that has been close to my heart / familiar for years. Lord giving me new insight into it as memorize one verse at a time. It's a sure better way to fill time while waiting in line or chilling several minutes at home -filling mind with scripture, accomplishing something beneficial instead of a silly game that has no lasting value at all.

Even more helpful than I expected. If you would have told me a few months ago that I would memorize almost 40 verses using this app, I would have been shocked! Some of the verses are reinforcing ones I’ve learned before (and I’m sure awana was helpful growing up: which is a ministry for kids especially highlighting Bible memorizing), but lots of the verses are new. The system they use is really helpful and you can even record yourself speaking a verse and let it loop if you’re also auditory with memorizing. I’m grateful for this app! Has been a major blessing.

Such a helpful app!. I use this app everyday to review my verses. I love the way it keeps track of how often I need to review a verse by how well or poorly I’ve done in my reviewing. The only improvement I would make is to have an option to review new verses more frequently automatically. I would like to review new verses daily for 2 weeks and then every other day for two weeks before going to weekly, bi-weekly, etc. I do this on my own, but I sometimes forget to change the frequency and I often do longer passages which gets complicated. Maybe I’m just a slow memorizer.

Great help in Scripture memorization.. I started using the Bible memory app just over 3 months ago. Prior to then, I always struggled just to learn one new verse. This app has made it so much easier and I have currently learned over 100 verses. The app makes it easy and convenient to set up regular reviewing of verses previously memorized. The categories make it perfect for learning verses that I need in my personal life and the flash cards are a huge help in testing my knowledge of verse locations. I have recommended this to so many people and would give it more stars if I could. A big shout out to the app developers!

Worth the price. This app has been instrumental for me to be able to memorize more verses. It’s easy to use, and I’ve been able to memorize more quickly and effectively than I have with any other method. I was apprehensive about purchasing my chosen version, but I bought it in a bundle with the Pro upgrade, and it was well worth it! The 50 free verses would have run out far too quickly. My only suggestion is that I wish there was a way to review all the verses shuffled. As it is, I get a little used to the order of review and don’t memorize the references as well, because I know the verse that’ll come up next.
