Potentially great app. Needs stab it improvements. Used this app on my S5 this weekend. Nice app with a lot of potential. However would freeze up and stop tracking . Had to reboot. Also the direction arrow would disappear randomly and would have to reboot. Was riding in Northern lower Michigan. Went on a dual use snow and orv trail. It was not on the orv map but the snow map. Would of never found it if not for a local.

Instantly freezes on my iPad.. Don’t know about anybody else but on my iPad that’s only four months old I press the more button then click done and go back and my screen is frozen. I have to restart in order for it to work again, then press a couple buttons and it freezes again. My friends have ride command built into the RZRs and those look nice, so I thought I would get it for the iPad but so far it’s terrible.

Crashes every time I try to open.. I had it working previously but now it crashes every time I open the app. I see the app working for a few seconds and then crash. I have updated the app to the newest version. Have even deleted and reinstalled the app several times. Using an iPhone 8. On a separate note the Ride Command in my RZR is terrible at trying to sync routes. Can never get it to connect to the server. Update. Recently updated to 6.3.02 and still crashes every time I try to open it. I really want this to work with the Ride Command on my new RZR.

This years version is not usable. I thought this app was great last year. It worked flawlessly and the downloaded maps were usable outside of any connectivity. This years version with the new map vendor and the offline regions is not usable. - frequent long pauses when zooming - when out of cell range the offline map would not provide a location. - the app frequently crashes - very long pauses when updating location when unlocking phone I have been developing Software for over 30 years. I have no tolerance for software that crashes. That is simply lazy and sloppy development... I no longer trust this app to guide me on trails

Awesome! Many amazing features. This is a great app. I love how it tracks my rides. You can do a 3D play back and watch your entire ride via satellite. It has a feature to show you who owns the pots of land as well. Best free app I’ve ever gotten! The only thing that could make it better is an watch app to start and stop route tracking!

Mind Blowing Awesome App. I’ve been trying lots of different trail map apps. Nothing was great UNTIL I FOUND THIS POLARIS RIDE COMMAND!! Absolutely love it. I don’t see how anybody could not give it 5 stars. The track a ride and replay of the ride is so incredibly awesome. This is my favorite app of any type ever. If their maps are this awesome, I’m going to take a hard look at buying their machines - Polaris’ real product.

Sorta works. It will track my ride when I’m using it. But when I go back to show someone where we went or to check out a section sometimes it will show the blue line of track and sometimes it doesn’t. But I can always do the flyover which isn’t helpful. Also when I click on a ride it won’t zoom to that one, it just stays where I am on the map and I have to search around for it.

Unbelievably Terrible. This doesn’t function as a gps. It lets you select waypoints but you cannot access them at all or find directions to the waypoint. This app also is complicated when im in the middle of the woods i want to track where i went and go back the same way i came. The paper they give you at a campsite will work faster than this app and actually tell me how to get back. It needs the feature of giving directions to go to a waypoint or anywhere.

If it worked it would be awesome. I wish I could say this app is great but it has one fatal flaw. You constantly need to sign into it. For some reason it is always kicking me and all my buddies with it out and making us sign back in. That wouldn’t be a big deal if you could just sign in but you need service and data to do it. When you ride utvs, snowmobiles and the like you rarely have service. So we can never get it to connect unless we all stop before heading up the canyon and sign in again and again. If that issue was fixed then this would be a great app. But as is it’s only ok.

Still works, was better. I have used this app for several years, it navigates most snowmobile trails in northern Wisconsin without issues. Like others, it was more useful, faster to respond, and less glitchy before the map vendor change. Please bring back those features, especially the feature of showing the direction the phone is pointed in on the map. Also, give the option to have map text in a larger font, it will help us with older eyes. One quirk, “Show points of interest” keeps turning off when I close the app. All the others stay selected. Thanks

Great!. First time user and it does exactly what is says it does and then some. Nice to see your rides and if your in a new area and need your way back, just follow the high light area from your start point.

Awesome. Just rode again using app. Amazing. Use in South Dakota and Michigan. Big feature needed ta make unsurpassed is our type of vehicle in ( which it already knows) and put end destination and have it find available seth trails like a car gps

Great app but could be better. LOVE this app!! Absolutely a must on every ride i take (snowmobile). Only reason i didnt give 5 stars is I have 2 suggestions for improvement: When you are tracking your ride, please make the display that shows the pause & stop button as well as the mileage and time of the ride smaller or at least clear so you can see the map!! Often times this display covers where my icon is and i cant see where i am on the map. Or put the display at the bottom and smaller so its out of the way of the map Can there be a dark mode for night riding? I get you can dim the brightness but cant this be done automatically?

Log in doesn’t work. In years past, this has been a great app; however, now this app doesn’t work. For the past several months I have not been able to log into the app. I have tried resetting my password multiple times, deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times, and have even tried creating new accounts. No matter what I try the app just keeps saying “sorry, something went wrong when trying to log in”.

Just what I needed!. I was looking for an app that would show what trails we can ride our razor on and this app has got it all! It’s much easier to use that the DNR map and shows gas, food and camping and much more! Way to go Polaris!

Ride Command is not staying open on my iPad - seems to have been fixed. It comes open to the Ride Command Home Screen and then disappears. Have tried deleting the app and then re-downloading it.

Where’s my photos. After the last update all the photos that I painstakingly added to my rides are gone. All there is is a blank camera for each photo. I can’t find anything in settings to correct this. Also, in my garage the vehicle specs are also gone.

App quit working on iPhone 5. Used this app for years now, for the most part was good. Now it no longer works on my phone, was told by support that it may not work because my phone was old! Comparability is ios 8.2 or better, I have 10.3, what the hell? I have since found 3 other people with an iPhone 5 that I had download this app, it did not work on any of them. I deleted it from my phone and reinstalled the latest version that just came out, it still doesn't work. Honestly this was a much better app when it was first released, as updates came along, it only got worse, speedometer on the screen disappearing, trails used to be one uniform color easy to identify trails, now it's confusing with roads.

No map updates.... Love the app but I expected it to have “turn by turn” capability when using the app on my phone. Oh well...I can live with out that I guess. What is really kind of frustrating to me is that I can’t seem to figure out a way to push my ride info back to you people so that you can update your maps for my local area. We have SO many more trails and connectors then what you are showing. Also have many trials that have changed over time and just need the updated info “installed”.

The trail app helper. Just the app is very good to know where you are at on the trails. Just helps you when you move to a different location then you can find new trails near your house and have fun. One thing that I do like about this app is the tracking on it.

Not working. I’ve been using the ride command app for a few years now. It usually works without problem. My last ride out the group ride won’t work. It simply won’t create a group or let me find a group. I don’t want to leave a bad review. But I don’t know how to bring this to the developers attention. I’ve tried re installing the app. I’ve tried troubleshooting. I’d love to see this fixed. Me and my group use it to find each other on the trail system.

Landscape mode “Real Estate”. Love the app. The last update makes it much more responsive. Can you remove the “Polaris” banner at the top when turned to landscape mode? This is taking up quite a bit of valuable real estate for viewing the map. Maybe you can also make the on screen controls “go to sleep” until the screen is tapped? It would just be great to see as much map as possible for people like me when using while riding.

No offline map download option or it’s buggy. I used to love this app but can no longer download offline map regions. The only option is to ‘Choose Map Area’ and doing so just takes you to the map screen, allows you to zoom in or out on an area and take a screenshot they call a “map”. If you zoom in tight enough for trail numbers or FS road names then the screenshot is of a tiny area. Zoom out to capture the whole trail system and no labels. I haven’t tried but I assume this means when riding it’s not interactive either. There used to be a feature to select from a list of trail systems and download actual data for an interactive map. Considering that 90% of US Forest Service Area I ride in has no cell coverage this app is now useless. This could be a bug but, if so, has been ongoing through several updates for months. Tried to provide bug feedback on app website and their form closed out in the middle of typing so, this is my feedback.

Trailhead Details. I’ve really liked this app. It has its glitches here and there but since the newest update to 7.0.02 the trailhead details are not displaying snow depth or any other details. I’ve reported the issue but it hasn’t been fixed. I have to delete the whole app and redownload it to get it to work. So my advice is don’t download the newest update till it’s fixed if it’s something that you find useful.( UPDATE, they still haven’t fixed this issue. Support reached out to me but when I reply to their questions they never returned my email. So I’m assuming they didn’t fix it since I’m still having the same problem)

Needs More Work. I’ve had ride command for two weekends now and every time I open the app I have to re-login, there’s no option or way to keep myself logged in at all times. I have to login to this app to listen to music through Bluetooth, which is insane to me, and everywhere we go there’s no cell signal so no login = no music. The constant logging in is super annoying.

Great mapping app. This is my go to mapping app for trail riding. Up load this app and you won’t be disappointed. There are so many good things to say I won’t list them. Very use friendly as long as you practice with it.

Great app. I wish mapping trails were a little easier. Also a place to add restaurants and hotels for everyone. Not all are listed. Would be nice to be able to map from trail to a road, and back to another trail for planning a ride

Unusable This Year. I have used this map for years and had good luck with it. Heck, even relied solely on it for many trips. Whatever changed this year has made it unusable. Very slow to load but the biggest issue is the offline maps. Again, they have worked for years but now they are worthless. We ride in a lot of remote areas where cell coverage is spotty at best. Went to pull up offline map that said took 500MB of space and nothing. Just a picture of the region. No trails, nothing, can’t zoom. Had to rely on a good ol compass. This app would have left us stranded. Looking at snow checking a sled this year again but if this is the same mapping software used on the sled, I’ll be foregoing the PIDD. In summary, can’t trust it anymore and left us stranded. I’ve resorted to other mapping software now. Hopefully they can fix this because I used to enjoy the app. Disappointed. Whatever money Polaris saved switching mapping software wasn’t worth it.

Great App. Have used this enough to really start enjoying the capabilities of the app. Makes it very easy and fun to share rides. Rider tracking works if cell service is available.

Used a few times this season. 6out of 10.. Used several times. 1) base map wouldn’t load on the trail when in use in northern WI. I downloaded offline maps also. 2) when you use the map, hard to tell north south east west. If you could lock in north, would be easier to use for navigation. 3) lake trails in Brainerd MN not even on the base map. Dangerous to be on a lake looking for the proper trail direction. Easy to complain. Ride command is getting better over time.

All trails “closed”. In Minnesota it says every single trail is closed with N/A info. I have deleted and re-downloaded the app about 3-4 times and it works for a couple minutes then goes back to doing the same thing. I see another person is having the same issue in Minnesota. Fix this and the app would be just what I need. But i just can’t leave a good review if it’s doing this and I can’t use it.

Version 8.1.01 unstable and constantly crashes and loses tracked rides. Upgraded to Version 8.1.01, noting Bug fixes and stability improvements. Running IOS 16.2 on Iphone. This version is far less stable than the previous version. Recent use over a 3 day period resulted in crashes and on every attempt to track rides. Very disappointing. Versions 7.X were much more stable and when a tracked ride was lost (less frequently) they would be retrieved upon launching app again. One other major shortcoming of this app, which I have noted in previous reviews is that the map font for town names and trail numbers is tiny and next to impossible to read, especially on the trail in varryng light conditions. The font does not increase in size when you zoom in. This app has great potential and can be a great app if the stability can be improved and the map font size can be made scaleable either as supported by IOS and/or when zooming the map. Thanks for your continued efforts to improve the app....more work needed.

Recent update disabled gps somehow. There is a glitch in your app updates between spring 2023 and now. Now I can’t use my IPad Air or my IPhone 6 in our RZR . Please get back to the basics and fix the “GPS location service” glitch for older deceives. I use these devices so my new overprice phone doesn’t get ruined by dust, water and mud. Like other people said, this used to be a 5 Star app. Now I cannot even use it on older devices. Not everyone wants to put their $1200 IPhones in they precarious rugged conditions. Please, please, please fix this app so you can use ALL devices. I would probably even pay for the older version!!!!

Wandering made easy. I can plan and explore places to ride on my phone or tablet and load it to my sleds display. It makes finding new play areas a lot easier

Search for Tracks Works!. I just tried the search feature that was noted in a recent update. I was able to find a track and waypoint by name! Only one weakness, some tracks use an abbreviation, and on my phone, it wants to correct my spelling! In this case, I want to search for what I type with NO correction!

Awesome Trail App for all Seasons of Riding. This app is great! Shows the trails. Tracks your rides. Create group rides, tracks and provides a fly over of the ride with pics you took on the ride! Very cool! Makes it easy to see where everyone in the group ride actually is in case you lose someone! Endless options! Shows the nearby amenities like GAS! Report conditions…enjoy!

Worked better last year. It’s very useful and a great idea. Last season I was able to navigate at on a snowmobile trail intersection from a stopped position. If I was unsure of which trail to take I would point my phone and the icon cursor would be true. This year it will only be true if I’m moving. Big disappointment. I have an iPhone 11 with the current software update. I even checked the same option in Google Maps and it worked fine, so I know it’s not my phone. Please fix this; it’s a great feature.

Our First Big Run!. I know for a fact we had no cell service, but the app kept amazing track of our ride! When you are able to see the stats from a ride, it makes it that much more amazing!

Crashed and Map kept snapping back to current location.. I wanted to like it. I downloaded my regions with the idea of using it for the winter sled rides in the UP of Michigan. At a glance the trail maps were there and some county roads which I liked. Was 4 wheeling with a group and ended up in the middle of no where. When I went to the app too see where to go next it kept snapping back to my current location after a few more attempts it locked up and crashed.

Pictures not saving on shared ride. This app is fantastic, thank you Polaris for putting in the coin to develop this for all riders regardless of brand. The function of the app to add pictures along your ride based on location and time is awesome but when we share rides the pics will come up when we click on the shared ride from the messages link, but when we save the ride the pics disappear. One shared and saved ride has worked though. What is the trick?

Rarely works. Most of the time the app doesn’t sync up with the bike and doesn’t show any vehicles in the “my garage”. Sometimes out of the blue it works without rhyme or reason. If you get this free for a year try it and see if it works for you, if you have to pay for it as a subscription due to your vehicle being older than the 12 months free the give then I would pass on that, it’s way too buggy.

Was awesome now worthless- please fix. I have to used this app for years and recommended it to many people. Offline feature was a life saver. Recently app is ridiculous. Doesn’t work at all. I have used it on many phones but have used it on my current iPhone 8 for at least the years. Has suddenly stopped working. Went riding in st George Utah a few weeks ago and downloaded offline map of the area. Needed to rely on the app to find our way back as I have done on many rides but this time the app only showed an arrow on an extremely basic map, no roads or trails. App eventually just kept locking up, was worthless. Had to just pick our way home by trying different trails. App is useless. Was riding in an area with full cell coverage today and so couldn’t even find my location in the parking lot. Said gps signal was too weak. Went from one of the best to just something taking up memory on my phone. Need to find another option at this point.

Worthless. I downloaded this app and necessary offline maps prior to going camping & atv riding. I was logged in, but while we were away the app logged me out. Since we were in an area with no data connection the app was useless. I could not start tracking a ride among other features that don’t work offline. The app was useless to me. What is the point of a trail riding app that has features such as ride tracking which could use the gps of my phone, but doesn’t work while not logged in and you can’t log in while offline. When I traveled to the nearest town, I downloaded another app that is more fully featured and works perfectly offline. Polaris should’ve stuck with putting ride command on their ATVs or partner with OnX off-road to provide this service.

Can’t ride without it!. Great overall app. We’ve put over a thousand miles through this app, and I love the ability to see where we’ve been, even if it’s not tracking on a known trail or with a signal it tracks your path you’ve traveled. If we get lost, we can alway backtrack on our route. Only 2 things I would change: 1) When you press “stop” when tracking a ride, have it verify you want to stop. It’s a bumpy ride and I’ve gone to adjust my view of the ride and accidentally stopped tracking the ride. And once you do, there is no going back. 2) Be able to plan a ride and follow the trail like a car GPS does.

Great app. This is the best trail app I’ve used. It’s giving me more option to ride legally in my state and boarding states. The 3D review is awesome. Love that feature. The more I play with this app and unlock its great features the more people I tell about it. Thank you for a great contribution to the off road world.

Works when it wants to work. Works great when you can get it to work. Cannot log in most of the time. It flashes and does nothing. I found my particular problem. The data button was toggled off in the data in settings. Not sure how that happened as I don’t recall doing that. The only one of about 50 that was toggled off. I will keep an Eye open for that.

Needs work on downloading off-line maps. I’ve used this app for years. It has always been glitchy and ate through the battery but it was useable. I liked the fact that I could download Maps of different states But that is no longer the case with my iPhone 11. Currently I can download about a half dozen small county size regions and that is it. If I try to download another region in my state, no matter how close up I get, I get the following message. “This region is too large. Zoom in to download”. The small area that I can download can’t possibly cover me on a normal weekend ride and as such, I will not have map detail as cell signal is very spotty in the northern parts of the state. Please bring back the state downloads

Wish auto zooming to a close scale wasn’t automatic on App version. Love lots of things about the app. Only gripe’s -Wish trails were updates this decade now that groomers have to use GPS -Wish every time you re-centered the mapit wouldn't snap you to a super close zoom. Ie with you could set a preset scale. -Wish you could select a destination and it would plot possible routes ( like Google maps and any other map application) and then you could follow that route instead of plotting 100 lines (using a desk top computer) close to the “trail” and try to stay near the line.

Used to work well, not so much anymore. I’ve loved this app for a few years now. Recently, the app stopped showing saved rides. Today during a group ride, the app crashed, logged me out, couldn’t see the maps at all and now that I log in online, no record of the ride today.

No Youth Mode Functionality. Just bought a 2020 Ranger 150. There is no Youth tab to set up the speed limit or geofencing. The directions that came with the machine can’t be followed because the application doesn’t have the requisite functionality. **Update** The youth tab has been replace by the garage tab it seems. If you go into the garage and you have the VIN loaded into the app there is a safety settings selection. Once you select that, it allows you to adjust the speed and set geofencing. It seems Polaris needs to update the quick start guide they are using.

Needs Australian map support. Need to be able to download maps online in Australia

Youth feature. Unhappy. Can’t use youth feature. Main reason we purchased this model. Had to delete app.

Kind of confusing. I feel like this could be greatly improved. The legend is not completely clear, can’t tell if they are roads or trails. No distances…take a look at QuadON and copy it

Not impressed. Can’t transfer rides from my phone to ranger. Always says vehicle not connected. I’ve tried everything and does not work.

No warm up shacks anymore ?. Good app, but it used to show all of the warm up shelters and it no longer does .. why is this ? That was one of the good parts of the app

Great app so far - looking forward to using it. Would be great if more people would get onto this app to have a live reported trail system. it seems to work well so far with lots of cool features. Definitely seems to have improved from some of the original reviews I read about it. Keep up the good development work 🤘🏼

Not working. After update not working

Not working. Newest update has disabled the app and it opens to a white screen.

Crap. It doesn’t even show the maps in my area. All the other provinces are shown but mine. Waste of time.

Nothing in Ontario. Poorly designed for Canadians. I live in a central trail hub with no trails on this app. Don’t download. Not worth it

Worst App ever. I first tried this app last year, didn’t work for me then. I just downloaded it and tried it again, still a complete waste of time. Tried to get a shared ride to work; no go and other features are extremely buggy on iPhoneX

Trop hot. Vraiment la meilleure appli sur motoneige, rien ne s’en approche, très bien fait et surtout fonctionnel. La meilleure partie est belle et bien l’affichage du chemin vers la destination désirée. Cette année on fait notre itinéraire sur notre téléphone et elle se transfère automatiquement dans notre machine, on en prépare plusieurs à l’avance et on décide laquelle afficher en route 😎

Northern Ontario incomlete. Missing some trials in Northern Ontario such as L-110 to Departure Lake.

No ATV trails listed for Western Canada. Looks like a good app but has zero ATV trails listed for all of western Canada making it of limited use for folks here in Alberta. The developers responded to my review and said they work with local trail clubs to update their trails so it would be great if that happened, would definitely use this app then.

Locks up. Map is very old. Screen allowed met to set satellite mode now its locked. Dead

Canada Base Maps. Would be an extremely useful app if the base maps contained Canadian terrain such as lakes etc instead of everything beige!

Nice app. Missing tooSpeed metric. I use this for all my trail ride. I have to run another app to track my top speed which easily could have been integrated into this app. Please add and it would be a 4 star app.

Crash. Keeps crashing.....won't upload trips

For YouTube videos - Maritimer ATV. I use Ride Command in pretty much every ride I do, it has worked flawless for me. I found by creating an account and opening the app at home while on wifi seems to help load everything up initially. It will chew up your phones battery but I usually have it charging while in use. Crashing all the time but great when it works.. Phone shut down after running out of power and the app started to crash every time I open it. Did the update and it’s still crashing. Don’t want to delete and reinstall and Lois all my rides. Poop:(

Question. So with this, if I’m on trails. I can find my way back to we’re I parked my truck? I was going buy the god for snowmobile from some company in states. But I don’t have plug for power in sled. Or $500 lol.

Plan Ride error. Live in quebec, canot “plan a ride” directly on my iPhone. I keep getting “an unknown error occurred” On the map screen, i select “tools” Then I select “plan ride” and SNOW tracks, then when i select “next” at the bottom, i get the error message. I have enable everything, on my iPhone, location etc.

Decent. App is alright for most parts but doesn’t show shelters. Pretty hard to plan anything if you don’t know where the shelters are

Comforting. Tracking is awesome, can even find the way home after dark!

Life saver. Was out riding with a buddy. We couldnt find the trail anywhere. So, we used this app and got back on the trail safely.

Awesome. I’ve used a few other apps and this one is much better and easier to navigate mapping is pretty much spot on I would recommend this app for anyone who is trailing by hiking atv sxs sled love it

No trails for central NB. Where are the trails? No markings in central nb

Progress = Degress. The more this app progresses the more it leaves us in the dust, so to speak. Since the last few updates, I now can’t see my rides in the “garage” portion. And they all show as RZR’s and not snowmobiles. And there is no way to “edit” my garage entrees! So the only thing left for me to use out of this app is the map base. Which I can access from our club website. Otherwise I have to purchase a newer vehicle that has “Ride Command”! Another feature missing for a long time now is the dashboard feature of turning my phone on it’s side, which would reveal a cell phone network speedometer and compass! Good bye to the OLD generation of owners and users.

Ride Planning doesn’t work. Thought this would be a great app but the ride planning doesn’t work, freezes up as soon as I select the atv type. Disappointing.

Cannot view previously tracked rides. I got the app to track and plot out all my surrounding trails. You can track but you cannot bring them up to view and use a reference later on.

Not working on iPhone7. When I login, with password, immediately shuts down app.??? Seems to work on iPad

Exceptional!. Absolutely exceptional app, from group rides to ride tracking and playback this is an exceptional app. Thank you for building in many features even for those without a ride command screen!

Sync rides from RZR to iPhone. I can’t sync my rides from mi RZR do 1000 2019 to my iPhone there is no way to use hotspot help with these.

Missing speed and direction:(. Its a great app. But I liked it way better when it showed the direction of travel and your speed when turned sideways! Why is that not there anymore? :( If they put that feature back on I would give it 5 stars!

Not all rides showing on the map. This app was amazing awesome when I started using it. I love/loved it. Then it lost most of my runs. I archived a bunch one time they reappeared but I have to load the archive literally every time I open the app. I looked for a way to upgrade or do something to fix it. I’ve reached out to Polaris multiple times. I just want some help!!

NOTE! You may need to delete and re-download. Great app. But if you had this app before and now it only opens to a white screen. Delete and re-download. Works as it should afterward.

Does not have correct trail locations. Does not have correct trail locations in the Algoma Region in Ontario. Someone is going to seriously be lost if they follow the maps on this crap app.

Mapping. Absolutely invaluable when sledding in the mountains near Fernie,BC. Makes hooking up with your group easy when separated.

Great App. Love all the great features, you can switch to satellite view to look at lakes and riding with friends you can track where they are. Has proven very useful when meeting with a group and you can track live where they are.

So many bugs.. Won’t accept postal code in address Won’t let me connect to my wifi hotspot on my iPhone. I just did the last update on USB. Still can’t connect iPhone for group ride. For a minute I could see my iPhone and then gone again. I just don’t use it anymore. A shame.

Not working. New update and app only opens to a white screen.

App doesn’t work. Like their machines this app doesn’t work. It locks up after opening if you try to actually use it.

Good app BUT. I had a whole bunch of saved tracks and I could see exactly where I went. But then broke phone got the app again and logged in and it says that I had tracks but it just showed where I started it and doesn’t show my actual trail

Route Planning. Great app but it lacks the ability to snap to existing roads when planning a route. It is great at snapping to trails but will not snap to dirt roads or short paved road junctions that access trails.

Polaris set the bar. Found the app incredibly useful at first, then after using it for a while it’s a must have.

What happened?. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the app for nearly 1.5 years. Sure there have been some updates that are glitchy, but it seems fixed on the next one. These last two updates have been horrible with this latest updated making the app useless as it won’t even open. The app immediately crashes. Major bummer and a huge disappointment for this weekend’s trail runs. Update: 5.2.6 is worthless, just whitescreens. Update: Feb 19, 2019... new offline map download is useless Another Update: Dec 19, 2019... App is basically useless anymore on both iPhone 8+ and Samsung Galaxy Tab A6, such an awesome GPS Trail App for the longest time

Maps. This app is really cool and I love using it. The accuracy is great!! The only thing that would make this better is if it had voice navigation I could hear through my AirPods.

Terrible app. Signed up, logged in, set up account. Nothing works reliably. If you have to rely on this app to find your way out of the woods, pack a flare gun, you’ll probably need it to signal SAR. What’s the point of putting in my maintenance records if I can’t see them? Can you see them Polaris? If so, how does that help me? I was going to quietly send you feedback from the app and even that doesn’t work so I get to do it all here for everyone to see. I get that it’s a free app, but it has YOUR name on it. I know I wouldn’t want something this crappy with my name on it.

Desert-rattler1. Awesome navigation program works very well offline and I like how you can download certain areas.

Update has GPS error. The track ride feature does not work on my iPad (with updated iOS software). An error says “Inadequate GPS signal to find your location”. This makes app useless!

Fantastic. One of, if not the best, app for atv riding out there. This is also very good at finding public and private lands for hunting.

Please fix. Please fix for iPad. I mount my iPad sideways in my rzr but when the screen is sideways all the buttons at the bottom go away. Also it freezes up all the time then you have to close the app down and back up just for it to freeze up 10 min later.

App not working. We use this app all of the time in Colorado and Wyoming. Try to use it this weekend and we were unsuccessful. App seems to have a bug or something. We even downloaded maps for offline and they didn’t work. We unloaded and reloaded the app and still didn’t work. We love this app wish it was working better

Great App. Love being able to track my ride and watch it playing back. Nice being able to share that ride.

Off-road. Worked just fine before the last update. It won’t even start up now. I liked this app when I first got it a few months ago, but this is stupid. All I have read on the reviews is very bad things. Polaris, U need too change whatever U did to screw a good thing up.

Impossible to use. There is no way to create a route and have it navigate for you. Should be set up like a gps with turn by turn directions. Worst app

It’s ok. App does not update trails at all it’s a good idea of trails but in far from accurate i wish the app updated as people road on the trails if your tracking my ride and see where I went why not add that trail to the map and update ones that don’t get ridden on?

Not User Friendly. I’ve been trying to figure this out since I bought my Polaris General with Ride Command six months ago. No luck so far. It keeps locking up on my iPad, and trails are incomplete. I have yet to find any kind of tech support. The Polaris dealership has offered no support beyond the sale of a $2000 upgrade.

Horrible Interface. The idea is great but the app is lousy, locks up, clunky, ....... Polaris is a premium ride manufacturer, you’d think if they offer a mapping app it would be premium as well. I will say the map accuracy of the ATV trails for the area I’m riding is decent. I’ll give another try today, perhaps I’ll have better luck.

Ride command app no good. I tried everything to get app to work with zero success. Several others with different phones have same exact issues. App keeps saying something went wrong when trying to log in and can’t even get into the app. Polaris dropped the ball on this one for sure. App has major problems. Wouldn’t pay the extra for a machine with this functionality. Useless.

Good app. Just wish we had more Trail data for Maine. So everybody post their rides and hopefully it will get filled in then it will be awesome

App review. I’ve used this app for the first time on a ride at Tall Pines, and it was great love everything about it.

Awesome App. Tried this for the first time yesterday. Awesome app for keeping track of other riders and current trail conditions and trail closures. Will be using this app from now on.

Pleas make it Apple Watch compatible.. How nice would it be to be able to see where you are on the trail with a simple look at the wrist opposed to hopping off the dirtbike and opening up your backpack.

Stopped working on iPad. This app has been invaluable while it worked it worked well, however, like the others have stated it has stopped working. It starts to load and then drops. I deleted the app and downloaded the app to install. Same problem. Let’s please get this fixed. Thank you.

Love the app!. App functions perfectly, but I wish it had an Apple Watch interface for quick references when riding. Would be the cherry on top!

Ratings won’t upload. The maps are great, though when I report conditions, it does not always show up.

Won’t let you follow your pervious rides. When I first started using this app it would let me follow my previous rides. I don’t know since you all have updated it. It has taken that away or what?

Not useful to find off road trials. For an off roading company that has an app, the app should have a map that accurately shows off raiding trails. All the app shows is county roads, most of which we have found lead to private residences. There is no point to the app.

Easy to follow map.. Would be nice to have a navigation feature though.

Could be better. Connecting to the vehicle when it doesn’t WiFi is a pain. App or website need to be able to add waypoints via lat/long instead of just via a map.

Horrible app. This app is trash shows roads that are not routes shows areas that are not trails ended up getting stopped because I was following this joke of an app. Get your crap together if you’re going to put a product out like this at least make sure it’s accurate. I should send you the citation I got for riding off Trail all thanks to following your garbage app

Something to think about. This app is awesome, one suggestion would be to add something like average speed, max speed. Just a suggestion.

MPH/direction. This app is great! However, for machines that do not have a speedometer or compass, it would be nice to see that addition made. It’s a lot easier than using a watch app and constantly looking at my wrist for this information.

View settings. First person drive can be difficult to get use to on a smart phone . Other then that, it’s a decent app . Needs some updates regarding road /trail names .

Use a different app. I downloaded this because the new machine I purchased needed this to control speed on a youth machine. This app is buggy and does not work as advertised. Forget about customer service, using maps offline, or inputting tracks. Go with one of the other quality companies that uses proven technology.

Useless. This is the worst app out of any app I’ve ever downloaded. I tried to give feedback and the submit button doesn’t even work. The maps are useless. Track a ride then you can’t see it. The maps load super slow. Just overall embarrassing for Polaris.

NewRiders. Great app! Great breadcrumb tracking & post-ride flyover is a real cool feature! Other features too like adding photo option, sharing etc.

Needs more map data. I wish there was a way I could ADD all the ATV/UTV trails in our area that aren’t on the map. We have had a lot added in the last 2 years that are not on this map. I would love to be a contributor. We ride almost every weekend in the summer.

Great App for finding trails. Would give it 5 stars but my screen always falls a sleep while using the app for navigation. Great for planning rides and recording rides. Needs improvement for use while riding.

Best out there. Love this app. Only thing our family and friends use for riding!

Not working Iphone 5. Version 6.3.01 still does not work on iphone 5 with ios 10.3.4. The app notes that anything over ios 8.2 is compatible. Like many i like to hang an older iphone on my sled rather than my current iphone. It used to work great but it just white screens. in home on wifi

Map updates. Not sure how snowmobile trails are updated in the app, but Three Lakes WI trails have not been updated for several years. I also agree with recent reviews that the functionality and reliability of the app is poor.

Map Orientation?. How do you change the map view/orientation so it displays the direction the vehicle is heading (as opposed to just facing north)? I’m positive that feature was available on the old version. UPDATE: thanks for the response. I see that on the iPhone app but there isn’t a compass on the iPad version.

Ride review. When I select a past ride to review nothing comes up other than the prompt to add pictures or play the flyover. I used to be able to review past rides? Why was that feature removed?

Needs more trails. There are quite a few trails in every county that I’ve ridden in that are not on your app. We are in Wisconsin and wondering how often these trails are updated. I do the update to my machine prior to every ride.

Ride. I love the App when it works! I’m able to scout new routes before I leave the house, now with the update I can’t even scroll around the map looking for new trails without it centering back up to my current location

Great on the trail. I really like using the app while on the trail to locate myself and trail sections I have not yet ridden. Also appreciate the current trail reports.
