Used it every day. Would’ve loved giving this app 4 stars. However when saving to set lists it’s overly time consuming. You must save it first to faves, then go find the song and save to set list. Same with moving songs from one set list to another. There’s really no easy way to do this unless you copy the entire set list. Should de in the drop down menu but isn’t. Editing is a nice feature and it’s just like using any document editing software or app.

Simple & Sweet. I’ve been using this app for several years now and it still does everything I need. It’s simple and quick to find the chords and tablature I’m looking for. I seldom can’t locate a good version of what I’m after. I highly recommend this app to anyone looking to increase the breath of song they can play.

Great memory......... I got away from having loose sheets and binders to remember lyrics and progressions. After enough years go by you’ll find you have accumulated so many songs in your head that you’ve done that it’s a real chore to remember even 1/2 of them off the cuff. This app does that. I don’t use this playing onstage but for practice and getting the song lyrics in your head for a performance it is a real help. Owning the song is important when you perform. But this is a great asset so songs don’t just fade away after not being played for a while too. Great handy app!

Great tool. Easy to use tool that I use for gigs. The only drawbacks I’m seeing currently are 1: adding your own stuff involves having to download another app (should be able to generate from within or support a screenshot to put in the mix) and 2: I’m having to close and relaunch the app because the keyboard won’t appear after 2 to 3 searches, whether to search for a band or song to add to favorites or doing the quick add from within a built set list.

Works for me. So far so good. I’m still a beginner, so I probably wouldn’t know what if anything is missing. The search comes up with a number of versions and I usually find something simple enough for my level. If the chords offered aren’t doable for me it is easy to use the “transpose” feature to come up with that one key I’m ready for.

Scrolling Feature. Hello, I love this app. A while ago my auto scroll functionality stopped working and I’m really posting this more as a request for help to get this working again. This is a great tab app…just would love to have the scrolling feature working as designed. I’m going to give it 3 stars now but will quickly change to 5 if this issue is resolved.

Like having a friend beside you. I have been using this application for sometime now and really would hate to ever be without it. It is truly like having a talented friend sitting beside you, helping you to understand and be able to play a very heartfelt song. Very seldom do I not find what I'm looking for. And, you can always go back and see that people have added more to what's available. Another thing that may go unnoticed is the ability to use melody fragments to learn guitar. This allows you to see what the masters have done and how they fit things in. You simply need to get this app and then enjoy the vast world of songs that never seems to end. Have a great time, I certainly have!

Scrolling Feature Broke After Update. Over a year ago there was an Apple update that was not compatible with the program thus disabling the scrolling feature. Despite numerous emails to support there has only been an automatic response never a solution. Customer support is non existent. Seems this app is on auto pilot. It’s no good to me without the scrolling feature. I did sync the songs I had downloaded to chord pro from here but still no scrolling. And no instructions how to use auto cue.

I used to love this app. I was very excited about this app when I first purchased it. I could find a song that I wanted to learn as I am not good at playing by ear. One part of the app that I loved and was essential for me was the auto scroll. It was nice to be able to play the song without having to stop playing because of auto scroll. One day the auto scroll stopped working and it made this app useless in the sense that I have to stop playing so I can manually scroll to the next section. If wasn’t for the auto scroll part, I would give this app 5 stars. If you can play without the auto scroll, then this app is ok. I cannot l play without the auto scroll so for me, this app is not that useful. If the developers address the issue, I would come back and give it 5 stars and an entirely different review.

Best for learning songs. Unlike their main, slick overpriced competitor, they don't force you to have an account in order for the app to actually do anything. This app works right out of the box and has a tremendous number of options including switching between ukulele chords and guitar chords. Awesome! Just tap on the little letter and it shows you the fingering for the chord represented by that letter for either uke or guitar depending on which setting you've chosen. Nice!

Used to be good, sadly no more.. I’ve had this app for 3 years. Now the email and scroll features won’t work. They are very aware that these features don’t work. They will not respond to emails. They refer you to join a FB page that wants you to be part of a new beta app that is similar to GuitarTapp. This is really sad. So, if you get this app just know that if you want to share a song you will have to take a screen shot, then save it to your device and import it to your library. (Stupid, right!)

So worth it!. As a church musician, I've spent years creating paper chord charts, and every week have to sort through actual file cabinets FULL of charts. This way, I've got it all (eventually) on one screen. Really like that you can edit in the app. And the auto scrolling - so great!

Never Trust. I’ve been using this app for about 5 years with a great deal of success. About two months ago, the auto scroll feature stopped working. Sent an email to the app developer but only got an auto reply message that said I might not get a personal message and that I also should refer to their FAQ page — which I had already done prior to send the email. However, I did comb the the FAQs a couple more times just to make sure my answer wasn’t in there somewhere. A fellow musician suggested I delete the app and reload it since we’d already scoured the APP STORE for updates and found none forthcoming. I refused to do that because I was afraid I would lose 832 songs I had meticulously edited. After a month I figured he might be right and I was hearing nothing from GuitarTapp. I hate it when I’m right sometimes, but this was indeed what I had feared. All 832 songs disappeared. Furthermore, reloading the app did nothing to regain the autoscroll feature. So, in the end, I don’t even know if this app is even supported — I’m kind of doubtful that it is.

Recently very dissatisfied.. Somewhat dissatisfied, I use the app for my programs, well into the program as I swipe to another song, there is only a white screen. I reboot and still a blank screen after a song or two. Where is my reliable app? I sent an email and only got an auto reply. Mechanical not human, please come back to being interested in us.

ipad update 11.3 bug. The latest ipad update, 11.3 has caused guitartapp to lock every time I open it. Only fix I have found is to press the home button twice and clear all open apps and then re-open guitartapp. Then it will work until I move to another app and come back to it where it will be locked again. Really frustrating when it happens during a gig. I’m getting the impression there is no one minding the app any more. Most all FAQs on their web page are no more recent than 2015. Too bad because it was really useful until this 11.3 problem.

Support. I love the app and all the functionality and flexibility it provides. It works fine on my iPad, and used to work perfectly on my iPhone. But now, when I try to synchronize from my iPhone, I receive an error message about mutant files. On my iPad, it works fine and syncs fine, but not the phone. I sent at least three emails asking for assistance, but have still not received an answer from support - going on at least three months now. Excellent app, but if you can't sync from all your devices, it makes for extra work to manually keep devices updated and synced with adds and changes. With no response from support, there is no other alternative.

If you love frustration, this is the app for you. 95% of the times I’ve tried to use this app (I paid for the “pro” level mind you) I get an “Error [unknown] contacting server” notice. My internet is working fine. I’ve also tried using my data plan with wi-fi turned off, tried restarting the app, restarting my phone, nothing works. They list an email address to contact if the problem persists. I’ve sent numerous emails without response or resolution. If I had to wager a guess, I’d bet they didn’t properly plan their bandwidth requirements for people trying to use their service and we’re all essentially DDoS’ing them with too many requests. Not how you run a service or treat your pro level users.

Disaster. The best part about this app is that you can edit the files to show what you want to see. The second best would have been the ability to share these files with other band mates. Unfortunately when I tried to sync my files to the GuitarTapp server every one of my edits was gone. Every one. And it happened the night of a gig. Terrible. Don’t try to synchronize your work. You will lose it.

Sync not reliable. Been using this app for years and always have trouble syncing between devices. I bought a new tablet, installed and synced the program from my old sync file. Then I made set lists for an upcoming gig and had it all set and synced. I went to sync my old tablet for a friend to use and the old set lists on the old tablet overwrote all the work I had done on preparing the set lists. The sync is not reliable between multiple devices unless I am doing something wrong. I try top make changes only on one device and sync the others. Now I am afraid to sync at all.

Music man. Used this app on my gigs for two years and worked perfect. Then for whatever reason I could not get any song lyrics to scroll. I have tried everything including e mailing my problem to their recommended help site. I have received absolutely no help on this issue. They keep referring me to the q and a section of their support and help section. There is nothing that addresses scroll issues, only instructions on how to use the scroll feature. They should not charge for this app if they are not going to support it.

Excellent app. I no longer use sheet music. This app, when used on an ipad or tablet, is all you need. Besides having lyrics and chords for thousands of songs, the app allows you to create set lists, transpose songs to lower or higher keys, edit songs, and more. You can also adjust songs to gradually scroll as you play at any speed. Another feature is you can change the print to a larger, bolder font - much needed for older players. Excellent app!

Could be much better. This works but could be so much better. First it doesn’t feel like a native app! it runs slow and there’s way too many steps just to add songs to a set list!! Which seems odd since this is the name of the app and its primary function. It basically adds tab from other sites. many of which are poorly transcribed by people that shouldn’t be transcribing songs at all.

SO WORTH IT!!. I am a beginning guitarist and i love this app. It has pretty much everything you could want. The layout is super simple, the chords are easy to read, and it is considerably cheaper than other options. I decided that i wanted an app for song chords, so i elected to go cheap first and purchase this app. My thoughts were that if this wasnt what i was looking for, then i had only lost 3 bucks. I am so glad that i chose this app because it does everything i need and nothing i dont. Simple, easy to use, and not too flashy. Great buy. Would reccomend.

Ruined it for me. It was a great app until they changed how I can view my favorites. It used to just show the whole title of a song. Now I bring up favorites and it has them categorized by first letter?? I have over one hundred songs in it. I don’t remember each song by first letter I have saved!!! Sometimes I just like to scroll through the titles and pick a song out. That’s ruined now. Why would they change something so easy like a whole title to: let’s see I’ll have to remember every song on my own I added because I can only find it by first letter!!!! Put the thing back like it was so I can read the title of the song!!!!! It’s now a pain to use!!!!!

Great app!. Probably the best that I have used for function and content. Several minor issues were resolved with the latest. Interface is wonderful and the ability to transpose and save locally are fantastic. Well done.

My go-to!. I use guitartapp for all of my gigging/practicing/etc music! I love that it can sync between any devices with the app through Dropbox, even between operating systems! I suggest this app to all my friends that play an instrument. It is well worth the $1.99 to get the full app and save the hassle of keeping paper music cluttering up my guitar cases.

Auto scroll no longer works. It seems like every one star rating out there has to do with auto scroll feature. It stopped workin with iOS 13. I’ve used this app for over 2 years now and depend on it 2-4 nights a week. Used to be a 4-5 star app. Based on the general consensus, I guess they just aren’t going to respond. Time to find a another app, with better support. It’ll be painful and time consuming, but I have no choice. You’ll be sooooooo sorry if you purchase this app.

Great repository. When just fooling around, it is great to go through my favorites and just pick a song to play. It is so easy to search for a new tune and save it into favorites. Have used the heck out of this app as it is one of my favorites. Then I started getting into ukelele and found that you can change to uke chord display - opened a whole new side to the old favorites! Great, great app!

Sets the bar for others to reach. I have used Ultimate Guitar Tabs for a long time, but I was frustrated because you can't edit the songs, and save them on your phone. GuitarTapp solved this issue, and I wish I would have found it sooner. All my songs edited to my preference with a scroll function. Can't get any better.

Auto scroll Now Doesn’t Work. I’ve been using GuitarTapp Pro for years, without any major issues. I’m a professional musician, and use it as a good go-to for longer “cover songs gigs”.., but discovered tonight that the auto scroll feature just stopped working. If this has to do with the new iOS 13 update, I’m sincerely hoping that the issue is fixed, as it’d be beyond just a pain to have to find a new app to replace this one... but without the autoscroll feature, it’s pretty much useless in a live setting,

Best app for guitar players!. I’m a beginner guitar player and wanted to start playing the popular songs right away. I love this app! I’ve tried other apps but this one is my favorite. Many of the songs have options to play in simple chords for us beginners or more advanced fingering for the pros. There’s also lots of songs to choose from. The adjustable scroll function is definitely a plus. Thanks!

I used to give 5 stars now barely 2 due to NO SUPPORT. I’ve been using this app for several years with great results. However, thanks to Apples latest iPadOS update... my page turning device no longer works.... and that makes the app useless for performing! I’ve tried every way to contact the developer and have received ZERO support. Almost every app on my tablet has already done whatever needed to ensure their app still works 100% with iPadOS 13.1.2, but GuitarTapp apparently does not care that we are hung out to dry... I realize that it’s an inexpensive app.... but still they could respond to their customers.

My favorite app. I am always ready wherever I go to pick up a guitar now that I can carry all my music on my phone and iPad. I use this app almost everyday. You can edit the songs, which is great. The only criticism I have is I wish they would require people to provide the chords or tabs throughout the songs because it can be frustrating to have to remember them. But I can easily remedy that with the edit feature. I love this app. I'm so enjoying it. I have had it a few years now and it's always improving.

Gigsaver. It’s not perfect because it depends on crowdsourcing for charts, but I haven’t found anything better. It’s saved me on more than one occasion when a request I had never played before meant a happy customer and a good tip. Definitely worth more than the price of admission.

Great app, even for oldsters!. I just retired and started learning/playing a guitar. I am 66 and started performing at our Sun City Open Mic and for the RV club trips. Dealing with all the songs on paper was hard to see and hard to keep organized. I saw on of the other performers using an iPad with your program. After a short discussion with him, I loaded your app on my old iPad and I was off to the races! Love the ease of use and the variety of music available. THANK YOU for this great tool!!!

Worked great for awhile. I loved this app and quickly built a huge list of songs and corrected some of them and rearranged others and used it in my gigs. Then it quit scrolling and that makes it worthless as far as I’m concerned. So far I haven’t gotten any help from their tech staff. I’m disappointed now. Michael Smith

Made life easy. Started playing and learning songs 3 years ago. Started at 59 yrs old. I bought music books and down loaded from many different online sights. Hand wrote songs out which took a lot of time but it did help memorize words and chords. After filling three binders over 2 years I hired a woman and paid over one hundred dollars to type the songs. That was great but being new to music I did not know to key the songs so I could sing them well. Once someone educated me now had 250 song in the wrong key's. needed to start over. With guitar tapp I downloaded all my songs , transposed chords in seconds,made the print exactly the size I wanted, and arranged music into different set list's. I use it at all my gigs. Never want to be without it. THANKS I LOVE IT

But this first!. Excellent app! I love that it does not require a subscription. I have found 99% of the songs I’ve searched for. When you transpose a song (to use a capo) and save it as a favorite, the app remembers the transposed version. No pop ups. Classy app! Well worth the price!

Wonderful App!!. I have stacks of paper both loose & in binders in no particular order. So far this app has been a great tool that is not only good for the environment but has given me something to get organized with my music, I love it!! The scrolling tool is the only thing I struggle with but luckily I found a foot pedal from IRig that works great with the app.

So, heres the deal.... I’ve been using this app for a while too. I have also notcied that the autoscroll feature hasn’t worked in a while either. My biggest issue is that I used to keep my phone and tablet synced together so that when I played in bars and coffee shops, I could use my phone to record and my tablet had the chords listed for me that I’ve already saved. Really awesome feature, actually! Recently, I’ve discovered that my phone will no longer sync to my tablet and vise-versa allowing me to actually see the lyrics and the chords a lot clearer. Extremely displeased with the app I used to admire.

Used EVERY WEEK!. Amazing amount of song lyric, chord charts, and tabs! This app is actually a community effort by the musicians that use it. The material is always kept fresh, and the many features like key changes and auto-scroll are great, I use this app constantly for finding new material for leading worship. Terrific App that is loved by many!

Worth it!!. I am a full time musician and have to learn a lot of songs on the fly. This app has been awesome! I rarely can't find a song. And with all the resources available, you can get anything you need to get in order to have a great head start on learning most any tunes. You may find better versions of a song you like somewhere, but and even if do, you can just edit the song and then save those new changes you made to keys or lyrics, corrections or omissions, to your device.

A Great App. This app rocks I have looked for something like this for a long time. From scrolling the lyrics to syncing with your other devices makes life a lot easier. One thing that would be a new feature is to be able to have the song playing with the lyrics and music. It would make it even better to learn new songs

Sad to say goodby. After many years of everyday use and loving this music tool, it’s time to say goodby. It’s no longer supported. I understand the guy who developed it was done. It must have been a lot of work so I understand. Auto scroll no longer works which is critical in a live music situation and fewer and fewer new songs go on it. When I saw 10 versions of Taylor Swifts Champagne problem on another platform and none on Guitar tapp I realized younger ones have left it and I don’t want to be the last guy in room. So goodby my faithful friend. You brought many happy times. If the developer who I now hope is relaxing somewhere reads this, know you did a good thing here. Thanks.

Great app!. This is an absolutely fantastic app! I use it everyday to find new song tabs or to archive my own. Being able to link to DropBox is an extra bonus so I can access the pdf of my tabs anywhere. I highly recommend!

Exit the app to get a keyboard. I’m sure the developers will work on this issue...but I can only search for one band or one song at a time. After looking up a song, when I return to the home page and touch the field to search for another song, the keyboard doesn’t appear. I use an iPhone 10 and a new iPad. I repeatedly tap on the “song” field. Nothing. I try the “band” field. Nothing. Tap. Tap. Tap. Nothing. (Perhaps the name GuitarTap?) So I have to exit the app and, upon returning, all is well for exactly one song. I’ve written twice to Guitar Tapp.

My life. This app is part of my daily life now. Don’t know what I would do without it. My phone, my iPad, and my laptop all sync. I link to a flatscreen and others can sing along. My only wish is they’d make it so the search has autocorrect or similar. I don’t always know how the song titles are stored or written. Also, be nice if one could quickly save to a particular set list directly from the song page instead of going through saving to favorites then adding it from the setlist. It’s very time consuming and I value my limited guitar time. Love this app though.

Changed the way I play guitar. This is a great app because it finds the tab you're looking for and puts it in a scrollable easily understood format that is correctable and transposable. I wish it had "automatically scroll when opened" option because I always forget to start the scroll before I start playing. The I have to stop, push scroll then start again. Other than that, it is awesome. It changed the way I play, because now I take all of my music with me everywhere I go. AND now I play more often then ever.

Super Simple, Super Powerful. I'm just learning to play bass. While playing scales is fun (not), it is great to have some songs to learn and play along with. This app is very easy to use and has tons of songs - pop, classic rock, R&B, blues, alternative rock, etc. You can play along by viewing the app or you can email yourself the song and print it. Best money I've spent on an app in a long time.

The best I’ve found. I’ve tried a bunch of apps for music but this on beats them all hands down. I’ve only needed to tweak a few for my playing. Saving, transposing, setting up set lists, you name it, this is the only one I would recommend. Great on my iPad.

Love it :). After searching through many other chord songbook apps, I have finally found the one! Really easy to use, a huge song database, great edit features, and Dropbox support. That's all I need. Kudos Devs.

Autoscroll not working on iOS 13. Someone is still taking money to buy the app but dont expect they will give you any support. It used to be a great app, but since the upgrade dont bother buying it if you’re running iOS 13

Love this app ... essential for gigs!. Really helpful app. Although I'm a keyboard player and this is really an app for guitarists I use the ChordPro conversions (in app) to create 'fake book' versions of each song with chord sequence plus lyrics etc. Also the ability to create and edit set lists for gigs and practices is very helpful. Did I say that the ability to search for just about any song from the cloud is super fast and accurate? Highly recommended

Useful!. Great little app. Can easily go into edit mode and copy songs over into a set list app.

Was a great app. Used to be a great app, make no mistake There is absolutely no support from The app Developer. Will not scroll on the new iOS update. I have written to the developers 100 times literally. No support. Won’t respond. Won’t fix it. Buy another app. It’s a potty, it used to be great. Buy at your own risk!!!

Was great. Transferred to new iPad air2 and now can't enter email to synchronise as the keyboard disappears. Tried to reinstall and lost 100s of songs...devastated.

A must have. This is a must have app for guitarists looking for tabs/chords on the net. It makes it easy to search multiple online databases and allows you to email a text version (without adds, etc.) to yourself to easily alter and print out. Most Tab sites make it very hard to download or cut and paste screen versions of songs for you to modify (to fit into a page, set out differently, or fix up the chord errors...) but the text format that this produces makes things easy. $0.99 cents very well spent in my opinion. Auto scroll!!!. Love this app, but like everyone else with iOS 13 update, autoscroll has stopped working. My emails are left unanswered. Taking too long to fix problems.

No stars. Biggest backward step. One star because I had to. What used to be one of the better apps to feed great music/Chords into other apps and formats is now simply the worst. No formatting. No layout. No longer on my iPad.

Great app needs update. Auto scroll feature has stopped working after iOS 13 update. Please fix. It seems now (2021) the Developers have abandoned this app and we are not going to get an update. Does anyone know if it will work with iOS 15?

Great for live acoustic work. I use it all the time at gigs on my iPad .... Perfect!

Great with a few minor updates required. Guitartapp is what Ultimate Guitar Tabs should have been - non subscription based! This app is similar to UG and if I'm correct, uses the same database to recall available tabs so it's on par. What this app needs in a future revision is an icon menu bar at the bottom to quick switch to the different menus so that users don't need to click the back button 3-4 times in order to jump from viewing a tab to Favorites menu. The images/app icon used across this are also quite low res and could use a polish to reflect this app's value and give it a touch of class. Finally, browsing can be a tad slow in some areas so a brush up on that will make this a solid app that rivals UG confidently head on.

Great app, but has recently stopped working properly. I have loved this app, it was everything it promised to be. But after recent iPhonenupgrades one of the key features has stopped working and the developers have shown no interest in fixing it. The autoscroll feature is crucial to being able to play song through without having to stop and move the page. But it doesn’t work. I really hope the developers start to pay attention to all the complaints about this on the net. Having paid for this app, I expect better. Bring back the perfect song book app... PLEASE

Upgrade Disaster. I absolutely loved this app on my iPad and have saved hundreds of songs which I was able to edit for my own personal use. However, the other day I updated my iPad to version 8.3 and disaster struck. I still have all my songs and set lists but I can no longer edit in the editor section. I requested assistance on the Facebook page several days ago but so far no one has contacted me or offered any help! Please, somebody rescue me!

Auto scroll has stopped working. As of November 2022 the auto scroll has stopped working. App creators have not responded. Still works on the old iPad - but not on iPad or phone with the latest IOS. Not useful for rehearsals any more. Try another app.

Good but need improvements. The interface is pretty old and not very easy to use... it needs a change to simplify the search and select the instrument wanted, as well as online history linked to users account...

Fantastic app for accessing one of the largest collection of tabs and chords. I was trying to decide between this app and the subscription version of ultimate guitar tabs. Very happy that I decided to choose this, not because of pricing difference (as much as I believe ultimate guitar for iPad shouldn't have gone for subscription model, I thought it was worth what they offer). Here are some of my thoughts with this app: - this app gives just about everything the UG app does, except your "Favourites" on UG website won't be synced to your iPad and songs you added on your iPad won't sync back to UG account. This was a small inconvenience compared to much richer functionality this app offers. - this is the perfect app for someone who plays guitar as well as ukulele, as it has an option to display chords for the uke on the song, just like what UG does for guitar chords. This means that the songs you display on this app can be played on either a guitar or a uke. LOVE this feature! - there is some enhancement of images/icons this app will definitely benefit from, especially for the new iPad. Hope the developer keeps on the good work and update the app regularly to bring in more improvements.

Everything you need in a mobile songbook. Been using this app for YEARS. All my buddies in my band use it. So simple to use, great library of tabs and songs, and amazing features. Need to sort tunes into sets? Done. Edit and save songs for your live gigs or practice? Done. Show you the chords and a link to the song on YouTube? Done and done. Have used for gigs, playing at the beach, personal enjoyment. Can’t imagine not having this app on me at all times.

Great content, no subscription required!. I am loving this App! Other tab Apps require expensive subscriptions, when I can just open the tabs in Safari. This App has all the content, but no extra charges. It may not be as slick as some of the other ones, but the adjustable auto scroll works good and for the cost, you can't go wrong! Money well spent.

Fantastic. After searching through numerous chord/lyric sites I found this one. Easy to use usually lots of versions of songs and closer to being correct most of the time.

Auto scroll. One of the better guitar song apps, but auto scroll doesn’t work, and no reply from two help requests.

GuitarTapp. Great APP for $4. It's easy to use and lets you edit easily. Play lists are easy to build and change.

Guitarkrapp. No recent support for this app. The App Store should remove it from their store until proper support is provided. Sent numerous emails, all were ignored. Don’t purchase this app until problem is resolved!!!!!

Scroll feature stopped working. Normally love this app but my iPad took an update and now the scroll feature won’t work 😒 Contacted them through Facebook but no reply.

Auto scroll. On newer iPhones and iPads when updating software to iOS 13.3 the auto scroll no longer operates??? 😞

Great app. This is the best app I have found for the money. Tons of songs and I am impressed. I can't think why anyone wouldn't like this app. I guess you can't please everyone.

No support. After an update, auto scroll quit working. Emailed tech support 3 times now and nothing is response from them at all. It’s been over a month now.

Needs iOS 13 update!!!. Auto scroll stopped working when iOS 13 rolled out. Many emails sent, same automated response every time. This WAS a great app, but should be removed from the App Store as it has been abandoned by the developer.

Can’t get the keyboard out of the way !. I love this app. I don’t know what you did? When I pick a song to play, the song comes up great but so does my keyboard and I can’t get it back down it simply won’t hide?

GuitarTapp versus OnSong. The last time GuitarTapp released a new version was Feb 25, 2013. Since then, OnSong has released SEVEN versions. GuitarTapp seems more interested in spending their time posting pics of guitar-shaped pools on their Facebook page instead of following through with their statement: "Please e-mail us if you run into a bug, or would like a feature to be added." On March 15 I received an email from GuitarTapp saying "We'll definitely include the option you suggested, thanks for that!" After all this time, those words sound like an empty phrase that's supposed to pass for customer service. I'm migrating to OnSong … ciao GuitarTapp.

No support!!. Don’t buy this app!! Contacted support via email multiple times regarding the scroll function not working after iOS update. No replies and as a result the app is a waste if you plan to play an entire song.

What is happening???. Of all the apps I have I use this one virtually everyday. It is a rare instance where I would pay a subscription to use it. It has not been kept up to date and looks like the developer has abandoned it. It was working up until last week and now it just crashes. What a shame. Dispatched to the junk pile.

Ignore the cry babies, this is a great learning app.. So auto scroll doesn't work. Boo hoo. Guitar Tapp is still the finest song learning tool available on any platform. I have used it for years - back when a lot of songs weren't available. Now it finds almost everything I want. No, it's not a great live gigging app, but I don't think it was meant to be. It's a wonderful learning and teaching app. Guitar Tapp lets you find and save songs, edit them, clean them up via a feature called "convert to chord pro", look up chords if you don't know them, share, transpose (🙏), find other versions of the song (handy if the chords sound wrong), show the chords, find a video version of the song AND find a video tutorial of the song. You can email a song to yourself to use in your favourite gigging software like Forescore. It wasn't expensive - paying the devs is the least I could do for all of these handy features. I want to thank the developers for creating this. It has been a lifesaver. Thank you!

Broken scrolling. Can someone fix the scrolling

Auto Scroll. Loved this app at first. Just learning to play, so I found it very helpful, however auto scroll quit working with a previous IPhone update. Have emailed support numerous times over past several months. No response at all. Do not download!

Guitar Tap app ROCKS!!. The features in this app are amazing! Not only can you find lyrics and chords of just about every song imaginable but you can print them out AND you can also transpose either higher or lower than the original key up to five tones ! If you can't remember the song title, type in the band name and you'll get a list of all their songs and that helps jog my memory Incredible app - fully loaded !!

Pretty good actually. Strange I'm first to review this. I like the app because it has good selection and an auto scroll feature. The ai has some improvement to do though, mostly with the fact that the auto scroll is set with time. I would love to have it in tempo instead. If you want to play music without buying the sheets or having to format an online version, this is perfect. I can just lie here playing songs without takin my hands off the guitar.

Still buggy. According to their Facebook page, they are working on a new version, but with no release date in sight and the non-functioning auto scroll, I bought a foot pedal for scrolling because the app says that would work too...but it does not. More wasted time and money...

Perfect. I've tried several songbook apps and this is the best by far! My friends and I were having a jam session recently and it was totally incredible to, in seconds, pull up any song and be playing along with full chords and lyrics. Incredible!! So many features and hidden gems too mention them all. Transposing, editing, conversion to chordpro format, scrolling, chord diagrams, playlists and basically anything and everything you might need. It's dirt cheap and they even have a PC application too! Best app on my iPad right now.

Ok but not great. A little buggy and not smooth, not optimized for latest iPhone. A lot of songs and versions.

My go-to app. Literally 99% of the songs I look for are there. And it shows the chord patterns and variations plus has a scroll to scroll as your playing, you set the speed. Truly not much is missed.

GREAT Song Learning App!!!. Best app out there for learning new songs. User updates, ratings, reviews are all on there. You can export to OnSong or email as text via email. GREAT learning and performing tool!

Disappointed. I used GuitarTapp pro on my windows 10 device,, it’s easy to use and great for home.. so I thought it work well when I loaded on my iPhone. I can access my music from drop box but it won’t scroll., and I’ve not heard back from the support team- wondering if they are still supporting this app.. does anyone know of an app with the same features I can grab?

Great concept, great design, great app. The flaws, like some missing chords, are insignificant and easily fixed. This app is the best thing out there in its class. I just started hosting singalong parties for my 60s era friends and the app is perfect for that.

Much better than Ultimate Guitar. I used ultimate guitar app for years and was pleased until recently they started to add pop-ups to their app (EVEN AFTER PURCHASE). GuitarTapp has everything they do without any of the ads. Invest in this app, they don't money gouge you.

Nice app. This was my #1 app for quickie chord charts. I wish that the Bluetooth page turner feature would still function, but it stopped working about a year ago..

Guitar Tap Pro. I use Guitar Tab Pro to learn song lyrics. It is the best program that I have found for this application. I use it all the time. It us the best that I have found and easy to use.

Best Guitar app. I have been playing from years. In bands for 40 years. This app has the ability to create the lists that a seasoned veteran or a beginner needs to have fun and be professional. We use it exclusively for our gigs and learning. Great Job

The app stopped working on my iPhone. The app doesn’t open on my iPhone anymore. I deleted the app , restarted my phone, then reinstalled the app , still no go

Can’t email tabs. Reached out over a month ago because I used to be able email the tabs, etc… No one got back to me, not sure if this app is supported anymore? Tried deleting and reinstalled, still didn’t work…

Worst support ever. Actually NO support! I’ve used this app for about 10 years, then a few months ago the “send to email function” stopped working. I read all the FAQs, no help so I emailed their support. I got an automated response saying they’d get back to me. Nothing from them in 4 months. I emailed them twice more and only get the automated response. I think this company is defunct.

Really cool app!. I really like the set list setup and how you can scroll easily from song to song and change the order of songs. Huge volume of tunes, too.

Stopped supporting. It seems they have stopped supporting this app. With the latest IOS updates the auto scroll and my Bluetooth pedal stopped working. I’ve sent numerous requests for help and received no reply. The Apple store said there have not been any updates to GuitarTapp for quite sometime and that they have probably stopped supporting. Very frustrating end to a great program!!!!

Great app, great memories. My brother Paul who was a superb guitarist and singer turned me on to this app. He passed away tragically from a heart attack at only 54 so this excellent app reminds me of him, and us playing together, every time I use it, which is most every day. 🎸🎸

Hasn't failed me yet. Been using this with several bands, also with organized gin all tunes, and hasn't missed a beat in the 2 years I've been using it.

Scrolling issue. The app was working great until I downloaded the latest IOS platform on my iPad. Scrolling stopped working. I sent emails to support and got an auto reply, then nothing. This appears to be an unsupported app. 1 year later. Still no support for the app and now email gets bounced back due to an invalid email address. Not sure if the company is still in business.

Love it!!!. This is soooo worth it! It seems to have every song I could ever want. Easy to transpose. It got me excited to sing and strum all over again!

Worked great until.... I would have given this a 5 star rating but there’s no customer support. The auto scroll quit working on my iPad. I emailed and never heard a word. I’ve tried a couple of times since and nothing.

Best one I could find. It's crowd sourced so the quality of lyrics and how they align (or don't) with phrasing of song is up to the contributors. Strong selection of songs. At times difficult to follow if you pull up a tune and want to play it on the guitar due to reasons mentioned.

Used to work seamlessly. Many years of it working perfect, now I can’t even get it to open. Tried all the basics, deleted the program ,reloaded. Sacrificed a goat in a full moon. Nothing, contacted them got noting but a Facebook page. Looking for another similar app.

Doesn’t work with iOS update. Was wonderful for playing and practicing. Now it doesn’t scroll and won’t save ChordPro format. Developers may have gotten bored and not supporting this app anymore. Too bad, I thought it was the best out there and didn’t make you keep paying to use it. Now, I need to find an app that will be supported far into the future, but I will not trust this developer for future apps.

No Longer Supported. I had a great run with this app. I used it to perform at my acoustic gigs for about five years. After updating to iOS 13, scrolling with a Bluetooth pedal no longer works. I’ve emailed them, tweeted at them, etc...no response. I finally gave up and invested an entire week in moving all of my playlists over to the Ultimate Guitar apps. Those work much better and they’re subscription apps, so I doubt they will disappear overnight.

Auto Scroll Fail. Love this app for ease in collecting songs, creating set lists, etc. But as someone who uses in live situations, I need Autoscroll and it has stopped working. I’ve tried resetting - no good. Deleting and downloading. Nope. Searching online and emailing company for a hack or fix. Nada. OnSong Autoscroll works fine, but I prefer to using GuitarTapp.

OK BUT. Good app, very helpful to me, I like that I can search for songs in one place, so far I found every song I want, BUT there's many chords missing from their chord file, they claim will be added, what they have is good, the chord variations, too. Being able to transpose is also a big plus. 😀

Stopped support?. I’ve used this app for years and loved its features and variety of song versions. However the auto scroll feature which is kind of important for song playing has stopped functioning I have written to support twice about it...cue the crickets.

Excellent App for iPad. Great app for organizing songs and set lists. Text editor is fairly convenient once you learn how. Would recommend highly to anyone. Only complaint is it isn't supported on a MacBook

Great Deal. Listen, you can go sign up for the expensive app or get this one. I love it. Sure, people with no clue post their lame version of the songs with terrible chord choices, but you can learn from it an develop a better ear. I use this one ALL the time.

Easy. I was looking for something simple. Didn't need bells and whistles and this fills the bill. My only suggestion would be a little more finesse on the scrolling feature meaning a broader time, but as it is it works.

Auto scroll died after iPad iOS update!. I updated to the latest iPad os last night and now my auto-scroll feature stopped working and I have a huge Gig tonight!!! I read another review stating the same problem happening two months ago with no resolution except that he lost all his songs! I’m freaking out now!

Perfect. This is the perfect app to learn and create music tabs. If you don't agree with the tab that's been created, you can edit it without much trouble. Me and my band use this as a safety measure on the stage. We love it!

Fix the auto scroll. Was a 5 star app until 2 days ago.. With out the scroll feature its useless!! I’m losing money now because I can’t use the app and swipe my phone to scroll the songs and play guitar at the same time!! Not sure what they changed but until it’s fixed it’s worthless.. I’ll remove this review when the app is back to working properly!! Until then I’m looking for a better app!

App is broken after iOS 13 update. In the past I would gladly have rated this app with 4 or 5 stars but now the autoscroll feature is broken after iOS 13 update. I contacted customer support twice to no avail. I have over two hundred songs in this app that I use for gigging professionally. I would gladly pay a fair price for this app if it were supported and updated regularly! Now it seems I’ll have to migrate all of my gigging music to OnSong or some other app. Sad!

Great source for tabs!. Incredibly easy to find tabs for almost any song. Quality of tabs varies, but the app works great. Money well-spent.

Not compatible with apple13.1.2. Scroll feature will no work with latest apples operating update 13.1.2 I have a older iPad that wasn’t updated to apples updated operating system and the scroll feature works.

Support is lacking. I bought this app a few years ago and it worked great. However the scrolling feature stopped working. I wrote for help a few times through the app and got no response.

Solo performer. I had been searching for an app to use in solo performances with an iPad, GuitarTapp meets all my needs and then some, it's easy to find, add and edit songs, the transpose feature is an added bonus. Hooked up airturn via Bluetooth works flawlessly.

If not the best it should be. I love this app have had for several years and has come in so hand for party's and jams . The music It Carries is incredible the tabs are helpful and can not say enough!

Auto scroll feature does not work on newer iPads. This app is great in every way, aside from on newer iPad auto scrolling feature does not work. Real old iPad iOS 9.x work great. Suggestions welcome to fix. Randy McHugh

Great for teachers. I’ve been teaching for over 25 years and I use it to help me with lessons. It gets me started. In some cases the chords or tab at correct with little corrections. Sometimes if I have time I enter in the adjustments. Thanks to all who submit.

Jd Ozone,, I have used this live for years. This app gives you everything. Not only online tab, metronome, key shifting, etc... you can also set up with a passcode and share with band. I swear by it...
