Poor customer service. I purchased a subscription from the App Store for my iPad. I paid $30 USD. The subscription does NOT work as promised. I contacted support. They blamed their poor response on COVID-19. That’s the only entire reason I purchased the subscription - for therapy during COVID. I’ve been watching every episode online during COVID. It’s been great to watch it on the smart TVs app BritBix but the publisher of the magazine is arrogant & insensitive.

Never again. I have two subscriptions that use Immediate Media apps: Gardeners' World and Gardens Illustrated. Both are a continuous source of annoyance. Downloaded issues routinely become unavailable and have to be downloaded again. Or, even worse, purchased again. The print issues are available before the iPad issues. After IOS 8 was released, the apps didn't work for weeks. Customer support consists of telling you to uninstall and reinstall the apps, which would mean downloading every issue from scratch. I love the magazines, but no way I am renewing my subscriptions.

Gardeners’ World. Be careful when you subscribe. Mine cost 48 and one that cost 36 came with prior years 12 magazine. I felt duped. Be careful. And they won’t answer the question, WHY!

App doesn’t work.. Can’t get any of the issues to actually open for reading while online. Also, download is extremely slow then freezes so am unable to download for reading either. I paid almost $40 and am unable to access any of the issues to read. I have very good internet connection so that is not the problem. Very frustrating and feel ripped off.

The Best. I think the BBC Gardener's World is one of the best magazines on the subject. GW features so many practical tips, educational articles and information on gardening that I wouldn't like to be without my subscription. A big thank you to the staff and publisher of BBC Gardener's World - which is a very accurate title.

Gardener's World. This app is not working. The issue I purchased is not coming in and the app is frozen.

bbc. love it. also...what does the u.s. iTunes app store have against system optimizer apps, system memory refreshing apps, & battery boosting apps? seriously! every time i find one that does it all, inevitably the app store phases it out. these types of utilities are readily available in every other store, but not in the u.s. store. it's as though apple doesn't want it's customers to be able to enjoy the benefits of this type of utility, and they don't have the right to decide that for their customers. (and yet they have done just that) hasn't anyone out there noticed this? i cannot be the only person.

AS. Purchased subscription but so far two out of two issues unable to read. Just keeps wanting me to pay for the issue. Reinstall apps, signed out and back in, nothing works. Customer service is not responding. Great magazine if you can get it... Not getting what has been paid for. Appreciate the response but the link does not work. This is just in line with all the other issues. If this is the same link from with the app I have an open ticket. Still waiting on my help other than answers cut and pasted from the FAQs. So far I have paid and not getting what has been paid for.

One of my favorite things. Even in the Utah desert we love our gardens. I wait all month for the new Gardeners World and I'm never disappointed. Love it!

Love them but complain for the poor download experience. Love the contents but it takes me 7 days to download two magazines and still miss one which I selected from iPhone (Can not find it on I pad).

Somehow gets worse?. I’ve been reading the magazine for years, and for the most part enjoy the content. The app can be frustrating at times and I’m being nice about it. Pages don’t load and I have to exit app, close app and reload and sometimes redownload app. Frustrating.

Finally! A magazine optimized for reading digitally!. So many magazines are really just print magazines uploaded page by page. Finally, a magazine optimized for reading digitally! It’s packed with the kind of great content a gardener needs! I also love the show and this is a great companion piece. I’m a happy subscriber from the USA.

Frustrating app. New issues don't automatically download requiring an app delete and restore purchases. Support is slow to help if you have other problems and send a stock response rather than address your question. Once the problem is identified a promise is made to fix the problem with an update but still the problem exists......

So Happy to Get This In Canada. My English coworker would bring her copy to work and I would read it it from cover to cover, had wanted a subscription but couldn’t find it here. I was so excited when I received your Facebook ad for it !

Magazine is great! Download is brutally Slow !!!!!. I have been a subscriber for years. Wonderful magazine, great content. The problem is downloading. I can download an entire movie in less time it takes to download this magazine. Thought this would improve in the last few months but it has not. Both Kitchen Garden and Grow your own magazines download in less then a minute so the problem isn’t on my end 😳.

Love the magazine. The only issue is it advertises 50% off for UK but then because I live in Canada there isn’t a discount or oh boy is the subscription expensive at $64.00 per year plus tax at half price?

Used to enjoy this. Recent changes to the format have made the experience of reading this magazine more frustrating than enjoyable. It takes forever to load content, and seems to freeze on the advertisements. The layout also makes it feel less like a magazine and more like reading a web page (for some this may be a plus, but for me it has detracted from the experience). Actual content seems to have reduced in favour of ads and photos with little text, or recycled videos from the tv show. For the last two editions I’ve found the experience of trying to read the magazine so frustrating that I’ve just given up (and will now be cancelling my subscription).

Can’t view paid content!. No help from support after days of trying to enjoy yearly subscription I paid for! I repeatedly entered subscription number as instructed. App fails on iPhone and iPad.

A Canadian fan!. I love this magazine! So much content, the articles are well written and enjoyable. The only magazine I subscribe to and would highly recommend if yo are remotely interested in gardening.
