Amazing app for learning French. I started learning from this app earlier last year, not knowing any French at all, and now I am able to understand basic French speech and to read basic French text. This app has a lot of different learning modes, centered around a flash card format for easy memorization. My only criticism is that this app does not teach French grammar, but rather it is focused on learning French vocabulary and phrases. The paid version is definitely worth it, you get about 1300 words for only 13 dollars or so, which would be more than enough to be able to get around if you are in France. Also, I like that the app is fully functional without an internet connection, because being in the military, we don’t always have internet and I can still study whenever I want. Thank you!

Amazing!. This app has so many wonderful features to help you learn French quickly and easily! I love all of the options in the player, and while I am diligently learning 20 things a day, it's great to have the option of making particular words or phrases active. Then I feel like I have a jump on some of the specific vocabulary I'll need for an upcoming trip. I also really appreciate the "temperature" settings on words so that newer words are shown more frequently.

Good for Begginers. This app is my start to learning French. I’ve already learned a lot, but I do wish I didn’t have to pay for more words and phrases to learn. If you want to start learning or are a beginner, this is a good app to start with! Some of these words are harder to understand, though. I can’t always understand the pronunciation of a word or phrase. But other than these things, great app! Merci! Edit: Some of the phrases and words, are not the most common French phrases or words. Take as “Avec plaisir” as an example, it’s mostly just used in Southern French and not the easiest or most common way of saying “You’re Welcome.” Why not use “De rien?” But it’s not the biggest problem.

Awesome!!!. When you do not have time to sit this app is great while you are driving, do your make up or anytime you are waiting to just repeat and practice your accent. I would definitely recommend it!

Unresponsive Support Team. I purchased the complete version through the app but it is still showing just the free version. I have uninstalled the app several times, restored previous purchases, and rebooted my phone. I have sent 3 emails to the support team regarding my issue and have not received a response nor an acknowledgement to my emails. If you just want the free version, it's great. But use caution if you want to purchase the full version.

Fantastic and truly helpful. This app really helped me before moving to France, it’s crazy how just practicing pronunciation and repetitive vocabulary can really help. I would listen to this app on my drive to and from work for 8 months and though I wasn’t fluent by any means it did set me up to apply and learn even more vocabulary once I arrived in France.

Hands-free, useful lessons. I'm very happy with the large amount of content available for free and the option to purchase more in-depth language. This app has multiple functions. My favorite is the automatic oral lesson that runs through a category of words (greetings, top 50, etc.) first saying them in English, then in French and shows the spelling on the screen. It adds in more words as you go so it's not overwhelming to start. It's been a great refresher as I took 2 years of French over 10 years ago in HS.

Merci Nemo!. I love this app! Very easy to use and they best part is the Player feature. It let’s you practice hands free by saying a word in English, pausing, and then saying the translation. I’ve learned so much letting this play via Bluetooth in the car!

Getting closer to talking like a French Girl. This is really helpful because the last thing I want to do it pronounce things wrong and it could be offensive to some. This app is fast and very very helpful! Take notes while you interact with the app it helps with storing it in your memory!

FIVE STARS!!!!. I've been learning French for weeks and have all the best and most expensive apps, but this is by far the best and cheapest! It keeps track of your stats and tells you what to work on, gives you a glossary to look up words and so so so so so much more! 10/10 Side note: for best experience you must buy premium for $9.99 USD! French application. BEST French app found and using it daily before trip in July 2023. Intuitive learning to build language base. Highly recommend Actually, I was unable to open application on my IPad and this is currently a scam.

Best French App Ever. I think this app is by far the best app, I’ve seen. The other apps have “lessons” that you do one time and forgot all about it but this app is repetitive (in a good way!) it’s SO HELPFUL and has helped me with my memory tremendously!!! although if your trying to get fluent l don’t know if this is the app (literally l don’t know) I’ve only had this app for a month so I’m obviously not fluent (yet!) but this app is AMAZING 10/10 would recommend (if y’all know any apps that could get me fluent PRETTY PLEASE LET ME KNOW) l will stick with this app for life 😂👊🏼💗

Helping.. Hi, I'm almost 11 and I LOVE this app. Me and my sister are obsessed with learning French and going to Paris. This is really helping. But I wish we could just learn 1 or 2 new words a day, instead of 3. Otherwise, it's great!!! I need to know how to say my name, though. If you want to learn a few French words, this is the app for you. If you want to become fluent, go fish. Thanx for reading!!!!!

Totally would buy the full version. Great app just wish they added stuff like where you can pick the words you want to study and set it up so you can hear just those words aside from that would be 5/5 if they added that.

Nemo French. This is an incredibly useful tool to learn French. They have thought of many helpful ideas to approach a new language and I have used each one to find which works for me. The "hands-free" is easily my favorite. There are too many good features to list. I've tried other apps, but this is the best I've found. Merci beaucoup!

😁. I absolutely love this app! I love the selection of words they give you and all the different ways you can learn them. I love how customizable everything is as well! This app is super easy to use and also I love how you can put it on auto pilot so if you go for a run you can learn on the go! Each day you get as many words as you’d like which I think is fabulous! ❤️❤️❤️

Very flexible. I love this program but wished it had a few more words considering the vocabulary in any language is immense. But I'm still giving it five stars because there are so many tools to play around with. And, it is hands-free. You can choose the best learning method for you, in terms of how you learn the words. I think it's a great beginning to other programs. For me, once I had some vocabulary under my belt I felt more secure and less afraid to actually be immersed because I was able to recognize some of the words or sayings. It's a great start!

This is the French learning app that you should get !!!. This is a very cool app. It is fun to use. It is intuitive. I tried like other apps, some were expensive, others just too difficult to use. This app is fun. Give it a shot you’ll like it!

Great App. I love this app. It provides the proper spelling and pronunciation of the French words. Easy to use. I enjoy the ability to review the all the words you've learned up to date and even hear your pronunciation compared to the proper one. Great app!!

Very good!. Always have had problems learning French. This app makes it real easy to learn! I learned Spanish in school and wanted to learn another language but have found it hard through other means. I refuse to pay hundreds of dollars for the other popular method. U can learn a lot here for free or pay $9.99 for the upgrade version. I eventually plan on doing that!

Français app.. Love this little app! I'm bad with sticking to language learning programmes, but this app has turned that around. I've learned the hundred free words, and am now going to do the $10 upgrade; so worth it! The only thing I could make negative comment on, was the inclusion of a 'tongue twister'. It was difficult to remember the English, let alone the French! Still, it's something I can come back to when I get more fluent. Good kit to have!

Great App!. I've taken high school and college language classes and my progress with this app is more than twice as fast. There's a number of reasons: The class goes as fast as the slowest serious student, teachers like hearing themselves talk, they spend a lot of time teaching grammar and writing, but most of all, the teacher teaches pronunciation. It's better to just hear it over and over and keep practicing. This app has a setting that allows you to introduce new words at the pace that is appropriate for your learning. It has an emphasis on vocabulary appropriate travel to France. As others have mentioned, the app only teaches about one year of a college course. Good enough for a crash course to help you survive on vacation, but it will leave you looking to find something else if you want to become fluent or get any instruction in grammar. Bottom line: it's very good for what it does.

Great app!! Recommended!!!👍😝. This app is so wonderful!! I've only had it for 2 days and I've learned a combo of 55 words and sentences! It's so great and organized and you can generate how slow or fast to learn! I've always wanted to learn French and I'm glad I've found this! It's very different from other apps where those are very complicated and confusing to use where this one is super simple and easy!!!! I definitely recommend this app for any one trying to learn a language available from all the ones available from this company👍great app!

Love it! Very useful!. I. Been trying to look for an accurate app to pronounce French words,and this app is what I was looking for. So easy to use and I love how it records my voice and then it says how to pronounce it. I recommend anyone wanting to learn French at their own speed to use this app😊

Easy to use. This has been an easy app to open and spend 5-10 minutes a day practicing in preparation for my trip to Paris this week. Yay, I'm sounding less American! My only complaint is that I often get the same 3-4 words repeating over and over during the pronunciation practice.

Never gets to the dark blue. Once you get to the beginning of dark blue (after repeating the words over a hundred times), it stops moving toward the end of the spectrum and you’re stuck repeating words you already know. It’s super annoying. And unlike Memrise and Duolingo, there’s nothing listening to you except you comparing your speech to the example. So, you can’t get ahead with words you already know. On the positive side, I like that you can choose different ways to practice words and select different types of vocabulary. However, the fact that I can’t “finish” with certain words is super frustrating.

I am learning French!. This is a great app, with a lot of repetition for learning. The dynamics can be adjusted in settings; you can speed up or slow down the speech and adjust the pauses. I am moving to Tunis in five months, and This app gives me a little French practice every day on my bike ride.

Good Learning Tool. Love the different modes for learning, flash card style or audio style. Easy to use, clear audio and enjoy the mode where you repeat the word or phrase while it records and then plays back so you can judge your own pronunciation. Recommend for beginners and travelers! Would like a conversation mode with questions and answers.

Very good app for beginners. Very good app for beginners! I wish it had more words and phases! I enjoy listening and quizzing myself while washing dishes or when I’m walking my dog outside. I like to feel like I’m being productive and giving my brain an exercise.

Best app ever. This is the best app ever me and my older sister use it because she was supposed to take French. I have learned a lot of words and some sentences so far in the past week or so!This app doesn’t even require money. Who ever thought of making this app was a genius. I love it so much so much.

Great App easy to learn. I wish I had discovered this app earlier in my language prep. It gives you three lessons for free and it's in flip card form or will automatically rattle it off down the list. The words being taught are some of the most important needed to get by in France.

Good enough at first. I tried it out and it seems like it’s a good choice for hands free practice. I haven’t gotten to the end of the free content yet so I don’t know how much is available or if I will want to purchase additional lessons. On the negative side, so far it seems like the progress in the app is very slow.

Outstanding. Very user friendly, annunciations easily understandable. I love the repetition and the ability to record yourself to listen to your pronunciation of the words. By far one of the best language apps I’ve used.

Great app. I have been looking for something to teach me French that won’t be too hard and will be easy to use! I love this app and I really hope that many others do too because for one a lot of schools I’ve seen don’t even have French class and they only have Spanish. I can’t even take language because I’m 11 but I’ve been to France many times and couldn’t communicate also French is a great language so it is good to learn it!

Good app. This is a great app for using as a flash card organizer for language. I would like to be able to click whether I got the answer correct or not so I can more easily see my trouble areas. I would also like to see more words added eventually. Overall I love this app and I'm glad that there is pronunciation available and multiple ways to study the flash cards.

Well done. I am doing well with this app. It moves at a good pace. I like that I can wear headphones and follow along while working. The hands free option is great for my needs. If I had a complaint its that I can't seem to go back if I want to retry the last word. Perhaps I can go back and just haven't figured it out

One of the BEST, love IT!!. I really can't complain, it's a must have if your interested in speaking French, or just want to freshen up on your French, it works great, I like the break down of voice speech correction, it teaches you to say it correct, and you can repeat it over and over, so your saying it correctly.. it has many different modes, I listen to it while driving to work and on and about.. great way to use your time.. LOVE IT!!

Nice App!. Everything works fine to me, I do love it BUT when you are playing and listening to the sentences in French and then you listen to the English translation that part doesn’t sound well, sometimes they sound neat but there are days that they don’t sound well at all and it’s hard to understand it. Don’t get me wrong I love the App, the rest works fine. Also I think some more vocabulary would be great, too. 😊🤓

Big fan of Nemo. I’m a fan of learning languages. I’ve tried a lot of programs. While I’m a traditionalist that believes there’s no substitute for getting down and dirty learning the nitty gritty of conjugations and grammar when learning a language, there is no doubt that a program like Nemo’s can skyrocket your conversational progress. I love the hot/cold temperature bar for expressions that you have a hard time remembering or vice-versa. I highly recommend this program.

Absolutely love!. This is a great app to learn French! Very easy to learn and follow, and the audio is very clear. I have tried other apps and the audio is not as clear, so it's hard to get the pronunciation down. I definitely recommend this one if you're trying to learn 🙌🏼❤️

French at last. Short on time? This is your answer to learn usable French words. My French vocabulary prior to this week existed to possibly 5 words, today I could use salutations and be pleasant or affectionate. I am looking forward to the coming week. All this within a few moments daily. Excellent and personally rewarding.

Unlike any others. Most apps have specific lessons, each containing their own words. This can sometimes allow the user to forget words, unlike this app that slowly brings in new words while still reviewing old words the rest of the time. It also has taught me loads of French and you can compare your voice to the real pronunciation.

Recent IPhone update problem. I love this App. Best one out there for my learning style! I use it daily while learning to speak and write French. Unfortunately the recent IPhone update today, effected the App. When I touch the play symbol to practice the words, the App shuts off. Hope you can fix soon, as this App is the center point of my progress and practice.

Great app. I have always wanted to go to Paris and become a doctor there. So I had to learn French. I have been to probably about 50 apps that haven’t worked for me😔 but I have been on this app for an hour and know about 20 words and phrases!! Download this app

Very useful!!!. I don’t have time to focus on reviewing written flash cards, and I don’t do well with pure audio-only, this is the best of both worlds! I can hear the word and see it written the first few times, so I know how it’s spelled. Very nice :-)

Love learning 💗. I like this because it helps you cause I know French all ready so it is just help me learn more and pro announce cause sometimes I say it and it sound weird so when I became a lawyer I can have more then English clients so I can everybody but they still will get to have A translator just in case cause you never now

This is the second Nemo app i have bought. Not long ago i bought the Nemo Greek language app and loved it. As i also wanted to learn some basic French i went looking for its sister-app. I am delighted to have both apps. Well done to Nemo.

Variety. These guys are the only ones I know that do such a variety of languages. I have the Hungarian and the French apps and they’re a great resource to go along with speaking and practicing. You’ll have to work hard to learn a language and no app can really teach you that, but these are by far the best apps.

OK so I have a trying a bunch of apps to learn French this is one of the worst ones because when you say the word through the microphone I don’t know if I said it good or if I said it bad it doesn’t say if I’m saying it right fix this make it like you would learn in the classroom the way you did it made me freak out

DO NOT PURCHASE FULL VERSION. The full version does not give you much more than the free. For example the numbers only gives you 1,2,3... which you get with the free version. Date and time only gives you now, later, today, tomorrow... also already provided with the free version. I was ripped off. Colors only gives you red, blue, black, white... lol... do the French not see yellow, orange, pink, or green? Lol

Meh…. I know pronunciation is important and mine isn’t great, but I can’t figure whether it likes it or not. It’s given me about 5 words (hello, goodbye, please, thank you and one or two others. I’ve been learning on Duolingo for a couple years and can’t believe my pronunciation is so bad that I can’t get past these words. Seems like a waste of time

Great App. Amazing! I can use it while making food, drawing, and other stuff! However I won't want to upgrade for newer words to learn as it basically covers most of it.

Mature learner. The app is good. It is slow or fast pace, depending on the speed desired. So far so good. Spanish is my native language, wondering if I should learn using Spanish as reference!

Almost perfect but.... Most frequently used words are included.. Except, where are the rest of the numbers ...40, 50, 60 etc. that are useful for prices, hotel bills and other transactions. 'Maison d'hôtes' pronounced in English as "goost- house" lol!

why this app deserves 5 stars. honestly i just felt like learning a little french for the future since i am not taking a class. and this app automatically knew the right words to learn and i was very pleased. if they really wanted to go above and beyond, there could be grammar lessons but i am very happy with this app so far!

I’m learning French!. It’s very easy to navigate thru the app. And I’m learning by choosing 8 words a day and studying 40 minutes a day. 20 in the AM, 20 in the PM. I also review the previous days words. Love the app!

My review is .... I like this app but I would like if it had more stuff to it ,it only has a couple of words and there are like no ways to study as much and they don’t have any quizzes to see your improvement you just need a finger really to tap.
