Horrible. This app used to be fabulous. I pay a hefty fee for a yearly subscription and now I can’t even make a video!!!! I put a large amount of time into it and it times out and I lose all my work. this happens time and time again. I certainly wish they could go back to the way they were which was absolutely amazing but this whole past year has been horrific, and I would never purchase this. I would be willing to change my review they were to go back to the former product which was wonderful.

Not worth the money and VERY poor customer support. Heard from a friend about this SW and it’s ability to automate the creation process. Decided to give it a try. The very short version (15sec?) was cute and decided to try the 7 days “professional “ version. When I realized Tencent, Google and other apps offer similar feature and convenient for free, I decided it it not worth the money. However, the cancellation process for the trial version was not simple at all!!!!! I looked all over and unable to find ANYWHERE within he app on how to cancel the subscription! I wrote to customer support looking for help and the response from customer response was not helpful and kept asking me why I didn’t like the SW! After mutual attempts they sent me the link and told me I have to go into the iTunes account and cancel it!!! Also, by this time they have already charged me and now I have to beg ITunes to return my money because the customer support was poor and the cancellation process was unclear and difficult. Try Tencent SW or Google, it’s free and you don’t have to deal with magisto customer support!!!!

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE CHANGES. I’ve used this app to make a few videos for awhile now and bought the subscription last month for premium where it was easy to see which templates I could use but now, every template I click on says I need to upgrade. This new change is very deceptive and I feel like I wasted my $ on the premium, only to be hustled into buying a more expensive subscription that I can’t even try to see what the upgrade is all about! Before they were reasonably priced and now this app is worthless unless you’re wanting to spend a lot of $ on their subscription, which will probably change again and be even more expensive. There’s also no phone support so you have to wait for them to respond via email for issues. I’ll be looking into other apps with better business practices.

Its bad.. Ok so i wanted to get this app off tik tok because I needed an app to do slow mod that are smooth. I didn’t see any slow mo bottons which made me upset but it did have cool edits. I really wanted to make a slow mo but it didn’t even let me make my own things or edit anything I had to choose one and when I chose one it said I have to pay or make an account to do it . Some people can’t pay with there things and some people, can’t even sign up with those types of adds. The only reason I gave it a 2 star is because it had cool edits but I’m really not cool with the paying things. It kept asking me many times and I didn’t like that. But yeah I mean this all respectfully and I hope u have a great day?:)

intentionally misleading & greedy. i recently downloaded this app, looking for a free, easy to use video editor. but, after reading the reviews, i had to delete it immediately. i find it extremely shady and suspicious that most reviews are one star, but the “average” is 4.6 stars. almost all of the positive reviews are clearly fake. most negative reviews are completely valid concerns about low quality content, misleading billing information, and poor customer service. yet, each negative review is met with a copy & paste response that blames the user for their awful app and deceptive fees. there is misinformation in the terms of service about how to cancel a subscription, which is clearly intended in order to scam users out of their money, then they refuse to offer refunds. it’s shameful and unacceptable. the developers of this app are greedy, and charge unreasonably high amounts for the same features that are FREE on other apps. the developers claim these fees are “reasonable”, but how can they justify a higher price for their low quality, practically unusable app when a video editor like adobe after affects has about 20 times more effects, high quality, better compatibility & sharing, all at a lower price! imovie is free and has more features than this app. read the reviews before getting any app, and certainly don’t download this one.

Best App to Auto Generate movies. I have use this app for the last three years and I’ve tried dozens of different video editing apps and I also use more complex ones like Adobe Premier and this one has always been the one that I go back to because of how well it is able to intelligently choose parts of clips the best fit the movie altogether and the template style options and music options are far better than other apps so your movies are more likely to be unique. It also handles the large amount of data without bugs and renders video quickly. Great app And I look forward to seeing what’s to come.

Subscription scam. I had cancelled this months ago and realized in an accounting audit that it was still connected to my iTunes Store account. Just went through the cancellation process again and the way that it is designed as a trap to make you think you’ve canceled when in fact it takes two tries and some back stepping to get a message that tells you to go to the iTunes account to cancel, which in and of itself is a convoluted process. Your cancellation process is clearly a trap, and I wish iTunes would regulate people like you from using their payment platform. You may have a good rating for people who want to use your app, you get a one star from me for your support telling me there was nothing they could do to help that I should contact the iTunes Store. Standby your rip off program.

CANNOT LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT. I have trouble logging into my account every time! I am paying $84 per year and have not been able to make one movie this year. I have made 724 movies with Magisto before they sold out to Vimeo. That speaks for itself! Magisto was my #1 of all my apps. Worth every penny for the subscription. HOWEVER. I just tried to make a video and they said to contact support on the app. I tried to contact support, and I can’t even get the link for support to open up. I cannot find Customer Service. I can no longer make videos and have not made one video this year paying $84 for no results. Vimeo has not worked for me. The old Magisto worked like a dream. I could also use my own music, but that option is gone as well. What in the world is going on? There were 1 million users on Magisto when Vimeo bought it. Who is using it now when you can use Reels with copyrighted music for free. Please help. I made a video and it says I have to contact support. It won’t upload. Magisto had a really good thing going. What happened?

Lack of clarification on cancelling trial period and very poor customer service. Do not download this app. I downloaded this app because it said it was free. After making an account, I was immediately surprised when it said that after a seven day free trial I would automatically start paying for a subscription to use it. The site claims that you can cancel the trial at any point, but I have been unsuccessful at finding any way to do that. There is no where on the site that allows you to simply cancel your free trial, and no instructions on how to do so. After deleting my account, there is also no way for me to contact the developers for help. They have no contact information, like emails or phone numbers that you can contact for assistance. The only way to ask for their help is if you login. I only learned after the fact that if you delete your account and/or the app, your subscriptions will continue regardless. I don’t know what to do and I can’t contact them for help.

Disappointing. The process of getting the final result was a little confusing and time wasting but it wasn’t horrible. The BAD part was the video quality :/ I looked through the reviews and saw that other people had the same problem and the response that some people got was that I had to use the same device that I recorded with... which I did and still got horrible quality. Another problem that some people had was cancelling their subscription. At first I was panicking because their cancellation process was confusing and the price was quite up there, but all I had to do was go on their help services and they lead me through the proper steps. Overall, the app isn’t that great and it’s confusing to manage at first.

Dropped my rating to 2 star because... It used to be intuitive and now it's so random it's just clips and bad music. The #1 reason for using this app was getting to checkout all the new indy artists on the rise. Now it's just a lot of public domain stuff. Also I have a pro subscription and it still won't let me make a long video. Just a short or medium. After more than 6-7 yrs at the rate of $9.99 a month totaling over $800 one would think I could make a full 3min video by now. 😟 but no. I'm not going to renew my subscription this next billing cycle. It's not worth it. I will be back later in the year to check and see if any updates have improved the experience because I really did love this app for many years. I hope it gets back to good. UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER… Dropped my 2 stars to a 1. What happened? How did you get WORSE? This is like watching a 5yr old try to “fix” a Picasso so it’s “more in the lines” sometimes in order to save something valuable you need to hand over the crayon and take a nap. Seriously, hire the original Magesto crew back and beg them to fix what you’ve messed up.

Their free trial was helpful but it was a pain to cancel everything. ***READ FOR INFO ON HOW TO CANCEL -go to the Settings app -then go to iTunes & App Stores -tap on Apple ID at the top -select view Apple ID -go down to Subscriptions -click on the app you want to cancel and cancel it Hope this helped some of you since it took me forever sitting in frustration and anxiety to cancel the app on time before it charged me. Instead of just saying we should cancel in iTunes they should explain how to do it. SMH. I loved the app honestly. I didn’t need anything too professional since I was just using it for family and friends but it was really too expensive for what it was. I can’t be paying $20-$30 a month for this when I only used it for one project in the last month. I have other more important priorities, bills to pay for. If it were $10-$20 for the whole app, not just monthly then I feel like more people would buy it. This monthly thing is really not helping you guys. Feels more like a swindlers scam than a professional app.

What in the heck is going on..???. I absolutely love this app!! Well I used to that is.. I’ve been using and have had a professional subscription for years now and the last few months it seems when I’m in the middle of editing an important project the dang app shut right down??!! Very frustrating.. and I pay good money monthly knowing it’s worth it. But I’m starting to think otherwise unfortunately. I’m also having to keep re-editing the same frames over and over again even when I’ve saved it. The time wasted having to do that is crazy and again frustrating.. please fix whatever is going on. I’ve just upgraded my iPhone to 13 pro max today and when I went to check out my app to make sure all my videos were still there the app crashes as soon as I push the app icon?? Wth is going on ??? All my other videos apps are fine and aren’t doing this..?? Please help!! I literally have 100s of hours vested in these videos and have spent a lot of money having this app. I’ve got editing work to do and I need your amazing app to help me do what I do.. that makes ppl smile. Thank you

Not what it used to be.. I was a fan of Magistro for the simplicity of making a good short video in HD in their early days, it was an App way ahead of Apple an Google In terms of making automated videos from pictures and anything you have in your photo album. It was perhaps the first AI video making App. Recently downloaded the App and was totally disappointed. The interface was changed in many ways, trying to blend the App more into a social media platform, which is not what you are looking in the first place. The billing is horrible! You can’t even make a video without committing to a subscription and despite the “free to cancel” option I won’t expend time on any app that if is not what I need will have to devote time on canceling subscriptions. It was a great App, so sorry for what they made out of it.

Why fix what’s not broken. This new version ruins the video making experience. It’s now harder to set time for each individual frame. Forces you to go to website to add your own music instead of from the app. Overall, a complete downgrade. This has been my therapy. My happy place. My creative outlet. It helps pass the time while commuting. Or with my head under the covers on sleepless nights. But now, the ease and enjoyment are gone. Please consider returning to the earlier version. One that made this app worth the monthly fee. Update: I have officially cancelled my subscription. This last update is absolutely the worst. I have used this app for years and paid monthly. But because of this last update, I researched and found other apps with more creative features, more user friendly and at a fraction of the cost. I had hoped they would fix what was broken but tired of waiting.

it's ok.. I was looking for a video making app, and after i watched the video, i was pleased. But when i used the app it said $30 a month, personally, i think this is way too much. Some people wouldn't mind paying that, but others like me don't. I think you should add the price in the video for this app so people know how much they need to pay. Next, I'm glad there is a 7 day trial, so i tried it out, but you have to have atleast 15 seconds of a video. When i make videos, i prefer to put together what i have so far, to see how it looks, and then add on. but mine was only about 6 seconds so far, so it wouldn't let me look at the progress. Other than that, it's a good app. If you are willing to pay, then i suggest it.

BE WARNED - 1 trial even if it’s been 5 years. I recently trialed, or so I thought, this app. After searching through multiple video editing apps, I came across this one and “trialed” it. I didn’t realize I had purchased it until my bank statement showed it. I had no response from this company, nor Apple, to me signing for a free trial letting me know I had actually purchased the app. According to Magisto, it’s Apple’s policy for a one time free trial. Ok. I understand. Perhaps it was in the fine print... but I believe that Magisto should care for their potential customers and reiterate that... or at the very least give a warning when signing for the free trial that it is not actually a free trial. Sidenote - I apparently signed up 5 years ago when my baby was a few weeks old. I had completely forgotten about it. So, my fault..for not reading the fine print somewhere, wherever it is. And for forgetting I had tried a free trial. I get it and I paid the 32 dollars for this app. Lesson learned... but felt I should let others know so they don’t make the same mistake I did. Bottom line - good app but not for the price. You can find better for less $$. I don’t trust this company so I don’t plan to use it nor will I recommend it.

Got very greedy. I use to love this app but they slowly became so greedy. Charging you for so many ridiculous things that people do for free. You can’t even save your own videos unless you subscribe to their monthly fee, A total rip off I’m done with this app. The blocking you from doing so many things unless you pay. Don’t waste your time or your money, they became very greedy and there’s many other app developers the do just as good a job if not better for a lot less. The latest update put the nail in the coffin for me and I would like to encourage you all to not purchase this app unless you’re willing to spend money every single month just to use it.

This trash app cant do anything it says it can. This app says that it can edit and make videos and movies professionally, but I tried it and it doesnt even let you set a specific order for the clips you use, it just randomly plays them out of order. All I want is to cut portions of a video but this piece of trash expects me to pay $25 a month for a version that adds even more useless crap. If I am expected to pay for trash editing then I might as well throw all my life savings into a fire, there really is no difference in this case. Take away the subscription crap, then I will consider using this cheap, good for nothing app. Hope the Magisto CEO are having fun writing fake reviews about how fun this app is, because I can clearly see that this cant do anything more than just screw up your videos.

Filthy tactics. Do not download this app. They make it extremely difficult to cancel your “subscription”. Here’s my story: Looking to get into video editing so I go look for some apps on the App Store and see magisto. I read the description of their app and see that the download is just a free trial and I would need a subscription. I think to myself ok too easy I will just get in the app and cancel the auto renew as soon as I download. I don’t like paying subscriptions and I wasnt too devoted to editing anything yet for a price ( and if I was i definitely would not use this app , the video it produced was horrible). anyway I get into the app and immediately go to “cancel subscription”. I hit the cancel button and go through the process several times and I never seem to get a solid confirmation. So I decide to close the app and reopen it. When I returned to the settings screen I see the option to “return to subscription “ so i think ok it must have been cancelled. Apparently not the case because I had a$30 charge on my card today. And apparently the developer support is telling people on here that if they set up a subscription through their Apple ID they need to cancel the subscription through their Apple ID. However seems a bit misleading to have a “cancel subscription” button that doesn’t actually work. I will get my money refunded.

Nothing In The Music “library”. Honestly I saw the reviews on this app saying that it’s not that good. I thought “Well it may have updated” or “They may be overreacting”, so I downloaded it. When I got on I thought that it didn’t look that bad. When I looked through the music “gallery” I found honestly nothing that I liked. I thought that I could find real songs that I liked for example, “Yellow Hearts”. When I kept scrolling I found again, nothing I liked. So I am most likely going to delete this app and find a different one. Please try to add some real songs and maybe some BTS songs. Thank you for reading, this app needs improvement on songs. Hope you have a nice day. (A few minutes after): oh and btw! I just made a stupid video, and just saying it’s not very good! :\ I can’t even add the video to the app I wanted to add it to! WASTE OF TIME!

Magisto is Amazing. I make a movie every month and for every holiday and occasion! People always marvel at how amazing they are. But I feel guilty taking the credit since the Magisto app does all the work. I just select photos, vids, theme, music, title and time and in just a few minutes, Magisto creates a professional looking video! I can’t believe how the app is able to zoom, splice and transition so perfectly every time. It’s really astonishing. If I was to use a traditional photo editing app to accomplish the same result, it would take me 10 times as long! Magisto has been a part of our family memory making life since 2015 and it’s now indispensable! Try it, you’ll love it!

Super Bad Editor. Don’t believe the high reviews. The old magistro editor was superb & award winning. 5 stars all the way. These high reviews are for that editor! But Vimeo bought Magistro out for millions. They then revamped the editor. Changed everything. Made it more expensive, corporate looking & soulless. Nobody is liking this new editor because it’s a money grab. It’s loaded with bugs and it barely works and it’s been that way for months. The once amazing effects are now replaced with really childish ones. It’s artistic cheese. It’s often so buggy that it takes hours to get a video looking presentable at best. And then if your lucky enough for it to not have a bug during the saving process where you can actually save your work without it saying “error can’t save”. Which is the case, 45% of the time. This new editor is so bad now it should be a $5 dollar one time fee. I’m so disappointed. Magistro team: Can’t you see how the old magistro editor had amazing effects ?? Can’t you see how the replacement effects are just really generically bad? You once had an amazing product that gave us more customization … Now you just have a PR team that lies and says it’s so much improved when you know that’s just bogus fluff.

Better and Better. I have used Magisto for a few years now. They have come a long way from the few cool clips you could make. Video collages could not be made simpler and edits allow you to make tweaks until you love it. They make great 1:30 to 2:30 min videos to capture our trips and vacations to share with family and friend, plus go back and live in the land of nostalgia. If I could critique one thing, it’s that as they have grown it has been more focused on business subscriptions and they don’t keep/update styles like they used to. However, they have expanded music selection. Looking forward to more content in the future!

Super expensive not worth it.. Today i just browsed around this app for a couple minutes, when it first gave me the option to join the 7 day trial i hit back because i do not like subscriptions, apparently it still let me use the app still and my sole purpose was to edit a small quick slideshow with my pictures that i could download. After like a 5 minute wait i tried downloading it and it says it wants a whole dollar for just a download?? It’s like you can’t really use the app for free except upload pictures or videos for other people on the app. When i tried to confirm that my account was not being charged i went to the settings in the app and tried to see if i was in the subscription.. i hit it serveral times and it did not load in. This was sketchy at first but i just thought it’s because i don’t have a subscription in this app maybe so i went to my apple id subscriptions and it said i had none.. i better not get charged 20$ for this app because it is not worth it at all.. you have amateur editing and features, most edits in this app you can do in a free one. I do not like this app it was a waste of time. In the description you guys should add all the fees included in the app.

Time saving app, when it works.. I typically use Magisto via my computer and I still run into issues. Likes- • Access to stock footage • Access to a variety of music tracks (Both are available via a Adobe Creative Suite Subscription) Things I don’t like- • Some of the videos styles are extremely childish & look horrible overlayed on some videos • Limited fonts Occasional issues I’ve encountered- •Previews to the music tracks take a while to load •Stickers don’t always work •Customer support dismisses issues, even when the see the issues on their end and only suggest applying the function again. Magisto has saved me some time from doing everything in Adobe PP but most of my short videos have ended up being completed in PP due to the limitations with Magisto. Unfortunately I’ve purchased the professional plan two years in a row & overall it’s not worth the money at all & they hardly roll out updates. The most recent one I saw was the addition of the voiceover update but it’s annoying as well because you don’t have the ability to change the effect. An app like this should be thriving while we’re in the digital video content making phase but they are/have dropped the ball.

Horrible video quality even worse platform. There are many good features to this app, but it is drowned out by all the terrible things wrong. First of all the $30/month premium service is WAY overpriced, no one wants to spend money like that besides marketing professionals and even for many of them this is too steep. Make it $10 per month and you will have way more subscribers. Even if the app worked perfectly, it would not be worth $360 per year, but it doesn’t- it’s junk plain and simple. Offering limited options for Fonts, and special effects, this is not the worst part- when you export with settings set as “higher quality” , your HD or 4K quality videos come out like grainy 720p or lower resolution. The auto-cuts and transitions are not smooth, and there are glitches galore in the programming, get it together Vimeo.

Potential to be Great. This could be a great app if only it would work better without Wi-Fi. There seems to be a little glitch with my app it will not work if I'm not in Wi-Fi. It's also hard to edit you have to go through the whole process before allowing you to re-order photos, delete photos, add photos, change length of time, or make any changes it has to go through the entire process before you could do it again. It's kind of a bummer and a waste of time that the editing is not easy to use. Also wish that you could choose where you want the music to start instead of only being able to play the music from the beginning of the song. Finally, it would be the best if you could make movies over 4 minutes.

Um not The best app. So I was really excited to have this app for gacha editing! And well I don’t really wish I bought this app… so when I got it it asked me what I got it for I said I was trying to use it for social media! And what I don’t really like is that you can only pick a certain..idk thing to use for your video and there’s nothing wrong with that I just didn’t really like that and you had to pick your own music that they provided which I also didn’t really like…? And this app didn’t really make sense for me I didn’t really know how to use it so if you don’t like apps like that then don’t purchases app I don’t think it’s the best app that has ever been made though I don’t think it’s the worst app! So that’s why I give it a three star

Charged me for a 7 day trial immediately. They offered me a 7 day free trial, so I said hey why not see what it’s all about. Besides the app constantly freezing they charged me immediately after signing up the “free 7 day trial, cancel anytime before and you won’t be charged” they claimed I had an account over 2 years with a different email, which I have no recollection of BUT still offered me the 7 day free trial even though in their system they already knew this apparently ? When I contacted them and apple they refused to refund it even though I made 2 videos both of which I never used cause the app kept crashing so I couldn’t even finish using them. Anyways, bummed out about the situation, hopefully they will next time fix this in their app to not offer 7 day trials to people that apparently “have already downloaded it before.”

I would probably not recommend it.. Despite its ability to arrange your content into quality videos with minimal effort, there are a few things that stand in the way of me giving Magisto five stars. The app is unreasonably limited for those who cannot afford the premium addition. However, buying the premium addition leads to renewal the app doesn’t warn you about. Magisto actually makes it quite difficult to access the controls through which one might be able to cancel subscription. That is not the last of the problems, though. For those working on tablets rather than phones, there is no version that allows users to enable a landscape setting, contrary to many apps on the store. It’s these minor inconveniences that restricts me from being compelled to use the app.

Magisto App will make your family and friends cry tears of joy. I don't generally write reviews. However this Magisto app is special. It syncs together videos and pictures making you the photographer look like you are as good of a movie director as Ron Howard. My pictures and videos of vacations, friends weddings, holidays spent with family, Eagle Scout ceremony, etc are priceless. I like to take several pictures and short video clips of 10 to 30 seconds. Then just pick the pic and videos you want. Select a music theme from Magisto along with a title to your movie and Magesto's magic does the rest. Get This App. Enough Said!

Magisto asked me for a review to help them grow. Hope they can handle the truth.. I am an entrepreneur seeking to break out into this new world market space. I wanted to become a partner with Magisto and use the movie maker in my business. A "Partnership" that would do EXACTLY what they are saying they want to do... They don't have their priorities in alignment with the growth they are seeking it seems... If they can't service a simple partnership request with due diligence maybe they should reconsider the title and strategy of their "Business Development Team". They are failing at their key objective of business development by this reply, in their own words. Very telling..... Sorry Megisto, you get a big fat "F" from me. Here is their reply; "In order to use the API solution, you will need to submit a request in our partners page to get the API key. Additional information (with answers to your questions) will be provided upon submitting the request. However - it is important to clarify that our Business Development team is currently working with relatively large businesses who wish to use the Video creation API, so it might take a while until you hear back from them (might be a matter of months, if not more than that)." So.... they want me to help them become bigger so they can continue to grow while only staffing for "relatively large businesses"? Seriously? They just told me that my business success isn't a priority to them. And for these reasons, I'm out.

Stopping Payments is a nightmare!!!. I was going to cancel my subscription for a month or two but to do so is seemingly impossible. I cancelled from the app, or so thought. When I got charged again I though, “well, I must have done it incorrectly”. This time, I get a pop up that says I have to unsubscribe through my iTunes id. I follow the steps to unsubscribe from there-it’s listed but there is no unsubscribe option. I email support and am refunded $7.57. Upon closer look at my account I find that when I “ugraded” from a $6.99 plan to a $15 plan it wasn’t actually an upgrade. I was still being charged both. Upgrade apparently means something very different to Magisto. I file a dispute with PayPal. They are still looking into it. Today My BANK account-not PayPal is charged another $15 from Magisto!!! I go to look at my iTubes Subscription and it is listed as cancelled. Magisto is still telling me I have to unsubscribe through iTunes and not them. This is a mess! What am i supposed to do to stop the payments-close my bank account and PayPal???? These people cannot be trusted. Not only have I lost money, but the amount of time I’ve wasted on just unsubscribing from this ridiculous app is absolutely absurd!!

Can 1080p come a la carte?. I’m a lazy perfectionist, so when it comes to video editing this app is perfect! (I have the professional version) Be willing to really try it out and learn a couple of simple mechanics and you will love the results. You can just dump pictures and videos and the app does a relatively great~amazing job and if you wish to tweak it even more precisely you can. The videos from this app are so satisfying to watch when edited to its full/personal potential. However it looks like nowadays 1080p is only available with a business plan($35-$70 a month). Kinda disappointing for people who just need the overall professional plan. When u have the latest top notch iPhone and the app can’t make quality vids that match unless you have the highest tier plan is definitely a disappointment. I’m left with the notion to just cancel my professional subscription unless a minimum 1080p was available in lower/mid tier plans or came available a la carte.

Little to no editing freedom.. I mean, for free, fine, whatever, but there is so little you can do! You have to have music, and you have to have a title appear on the video. I just needed to make a video that was “made together” to post on social media, not anything fancy (well, it isn’t FANCY, definitely not.) I gave it two stars instead of one because it would work for like a five year old (at least on the free one, no way was I going to be spending money on an editing APP when I have things like WeVideo.) I only got this app to be quick, and while it was quick, the video looked like crap, and you couldn’t even edit the video yourself! No creative freedom, and worst of all, it looks awful, let’s be clear. There is huge white letters that must play on the screen, and then you have awful music (which I wish they had a choice for NO MUSIC) in the background. I wouldn’t even recommend this for a home movie sort of thing. Don’t know what you would even do with it. Little editing freedom, and makes your simple videos stick into a box that they want your videos to fit in. Overall, this app wasn’t even comparable to iMovie! At least iMovie let’s you make your own video, which I was looking for an improvement from to edit videos together (not looking to make a horrible home movie, just edit videos together into one price, which one would think would be pretty basic for an video app.

Want to cancel the subscription? Mwa-ha-ha. I faced the same issue as some reviewers below: signed for a trial to check the full functionality of the app for the further occasional use when I need it with no intention to pay for Professional version (as I don’t need it). Before signing for the trial I checked the Terms to make sure on the way to unsubscribe, and it was stated to be done over My Account right in the app. So in a few days I cancelled the subscription the way it was requested in their Terms, however have been billed anyway, when the trial expired! After some emails back and forth with Magisto support I’ve been told that the process of cancellation is different from what they requested in their Terms and refund is also the authority of Apple. I don’t get it, why to have this misleading “Cancel your subscription” button in My Account, if it does nothing?? And why have describe the procedure of cancellation differently in the Terms visible upon signing up? All together it looks very filthy to me. Kudos for the support team replying and doing it fast. Nice and fun app in general, even the outcome quality of the video is horrible. But this billing filthy thing - baaaad, too bad, guys.

Please change quality of final video cut. Ur videos look like total dogdoo no matter what you do - Magisto final edit destroys them - even when shot in 1080 for ig or on a dslr hd cam this app degrades the quality so bad.. so sad because I paid for a few months of this but a business account is wayyyy too much money.. I really would need to try it for a month before paying for an entire year - It actually destroyed two videos I made but I had to use them because my time is money - Tried filming different ways in higher quality and it just makes the films so low quality - I'm willing to pay for the business acct if there's some sort of guarantee that I can actually get my videos in the hd quality it shows me playing the video WITHIN the app before I download it to my phone or ig.. I actually was about to jump on paying for a year right before creating the first movie glad I didn’t - I've also written your customer service and no one ever got back to me about questions I’ve asked on both ig dm and emails

Excessive Data Usage and Impact on Internet Costs. I recently had an experience with the Magisto app that left me disappointed. Over the course of three days, I noticed a significant spike in our internet data usage, exceeding 900GB due to file transfers. It became evident that the app’s editing process heavily relies on their cloud server, which stores all my local photos in their database. When I deleted the app, the data transfers ceased. Unfortunately, this meant I couldn’t complete my video editing tasks as planned, and it caused our limited 1.2TB internet plan to incur additional costs of around $100. I believe it’s crucial for apps like Magisto to be transparent about their data usage and provide users with clear options to manage their data transfers. What happened to this once great app??!. I had this several years ago and absolutely loved it. I made videos all the time on my cellphone. I wanted to make a birthday video for my granddaughter and though I’d try it again. I was able to utilize a free week trial- thankfully I didn’t pay for it. Set It took me several days to complete a video - problems saving, problems downloading photos. (retry later over and over). Editing was an absolute nightmare. Trying to add photos or move them around was impossible without another problem created- such as creating an overlay, or photo in the wrong spot..!!?! Finally, thinking I had created something I saved and sent it. My bad, I forgot to download it first. Then I watched it- so many of the photos I thought were added were not in the final video!! So frustrating and time wasting. I don’t know what happened… I miss my old fabulous video maker.

Amazing Video Processing Software!!!!. What this program does is nothing short of amazing. The amount of work and image processing and video processing it takes to combine and automatically make a video that looks incredibly manually made is amazing. Yes it’s not 100% perfect. There may be some scenes that need to be tweaked. But when I think of the amount of time I would have to spent doing this manually through Photoshop or Adobe After Effects I am totally blown away. Since I don’t use it for business the cost is a little bit high. I used it for my own personal videos. I wish they had an option where I could just pay one fee to purchase it.

Music. Hello I’ve been a fan of your app for a while now I even pay for monthly subscriptions however I’m used to being able to choose my own music from my library I was unaware that three different formats no longer let you use the Music however your app doesn’t even give me the option to upload music from my library now and that’s a big drawback and kind of makes me want to discontinue my subscription it would be nice to have an update knowing that you guys no longer offer that even though your help center says you can still do it so I’m confused as to why it won’t let me do an update to fix the problem or can you tell me what’s going on and why that option was removed because I’m paying 20 bucks a month for this

Misleading. Terribly misleading in the descriptions and functions of this app. First of all, note that it comes up first in the App Store with an “Ad” listed next to it- which means they pay for sponsorship and push faulty reviews!! I doubt that all of these five stars are legitimate, as there are so many problems throughout. From there, they push multi-tiered subscriptions on you with any attempt to explore the app. The user interface doesn’t make any sense. There aren’t tools for you to use on your own- you have no option but to choose a pre-designed template. It hardly makes any sense! I’m appalled that the App Store allows a company to push this obvious scam. And obviously the devs are “listening:” it’s more like defending themselves and trying to rake in the cash in any way possible. If they are a legitimate company that actually cares, focus on creating a good product that works instead of pawning this off to us like Snake Oil salesmen.

Can I at least see if it works first??. So far- 15 minutes in- I’m not a fan—BUT, gimme a minute more and let’s see what this thang can do... Second, I apologize for the untimely follow-up and upon your notification I immediately searched my inventory for your app to refresh my overall review. After realizing I’d deleted it from my downloads, I went back to figure out why. Instantly I recalled the experience I had, and simultaneously experienced it again. From the gate, I’m bombarded with in-app purchases— ones that actually require the app to work well at all. The selections I’m left with WITHOUT coming straight from my pocket, do not compare to the apps I have used for several years- and that DO NOT hinder my video process by constantly soliciting up-sales. I understand everybody has to make money- I understand technology is not free nor is ANYTHING, however if I DO download a FREE app (and they all have in-app purchases) I want to be able to use it WITHOUT a salesman at every turn. In fairness regarding what your app actually does— for the Novice, unexperienced, super-busy, or just unimaginative person- my opinion is that it DOES make the process easier. For those people, this is probably a good start- for ‘not’ those people, i would believe it’s not much use. Again, thank you for taking time to listen to your public. Z.

A lot of glitch going on. I have been working on this video for 3 days already and I cannot finished it because of this glitches on Magisto from replacing a photo (not replacing the photo that I want ) or even uploading a new one whether it’s from my own photo library or from their istock folder. Saving the video file is a huge huge disappointment as after I spent about 4hrs making a video , it didn’t saved actually at this time 7hrs after I tried to saved it, it was still in that status of waiting for few minutes and will notify me when it’s ready. This app is SO EXPENSIVE! And this is what I’m gonna get? I never paid an expensive app before , I trusted that this app is superb but it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT , HUGE WASTE OF TIME MAKING MY VIDEO THAT DID NOT SAVE AND HUGE WASTE OF MONEY AND I actually would like to demand a refund for this app but I’m gonna figure that out later on. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!

***STOP BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD***I’ve changed my mind tremendously, here’s my story.. My family recently went through a horrific tragedy when their home caught fire, along with 3 other families in the building. I was able to make a wonderful tribute video to thank everyone for their help and donations. I “loved” this app, unfortunately that changed immediately. I was given a free trial, which I greatly appreciated, however when I cancelled the trial and renewal through my Apple ID, Magisto charged me for it. I did not authorize payment nor did I want to renew a subscription I just wanted to try it out. I attempted to cancel through the app itself of which they displayed directions on how to cancel my free trial through my Apple ID. They charged me as soon as I cancelled my trial. They “give you warning” of canceling renewable payments and subscriptions but fail to explain that you must cancel the trial AND the renewal payment, they only explain how to “cancel subscription” through your Apple ID. It’s a scheme and as a father who has another child on the way I don’t appreciate this shady app. DO NOT SIGN UP!

I really tried. I decided to try this app and really wanted to like this app but it fell really short. The templates are a cool idea but every time I did a new video it wasn’t good. Even though there is an option to go back and edit the slides, the editor is super difficult to use. Coming from an iMovie and video shop editing background, I don’t get why the video editor is so lacking. To show my effort I edited one video 8 times with different lengths and templates just to give it a good try and just came out unhappy. I would love it if maybe the app was set up like iMovie and we were able to use the templates so we could alter the footage more easily. The automatic editor just isn’t that great. Maybe if your videos you don’t speak a lot this can work. Even when I selected the speech only option it still edited and cut in awkward places that were difficult to go back and edit.

AMAZING. I am making a video for my boyfriend containing a ton of pictures from our first year together. I tried iMovie and it was a NIGHTMARE, at least on iPhone. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find another good editing software. At first glance, I didn’t like how this app seemed to do everything for you, but I went ahead and put the pictures in and put a couple random settings real quick, just to see if it was something I wanted to put more time into. The result was almost exactly what I was looking to make! With just a couple minor tweaks, my finished product will be ready! I am so very impressed and surprised in the best way! The only thing I would change is the fact that you can’t put over 100 pictures in one video, but the rest of this app was so incredible that I will work with that and it will still end up being the best video I’ve ever made! 100% would recommend!

Don’t subscribe to Premium. Premium subscribers have no option to edit their videos or rearrange the images, slides or information flow. They have to choose a few of the resources and let some AI or program decide what to do with them. If you are lucky, they come in the intended order. Otherwise, you will see a highly jumbled video which serves no purpose. It’s a purely deceptive technique on their part to force users to subscribe to more expensive professional or business subscription to edit their creations. They should let the premium subscribers at least to rearrange the images in a proper order before its is stylized by their program. Disappointed that I have to pray each time to make a video that things will fall in place. A very dicey situation.

Misrepresented. I tried the free business trial, because it said I could easily cancel within a week in “settings”. I tried it, the video quality was awful and there weren’t anymore options for creating a pro level video/slide show than my free apps. For $30 I expected way more than my free apps. Then, When I went to cancel, it turns out you have to cancel in ITUNES SETTINGS, not the app settings. Had I known this I wouldn’t have done the trial (I rarely do trials and checked to make sure it was easy to cancel), my iTunes account has been very problematic for years. Took me 3 hours to resolve the situation and customer support at Magisto had zero ability to fix it on their end and didn’t apologize for the misleading copy. Wish I had an option for zero stars. The customer support team is fairly quick to answer your emails, to tell you that they can not and will not do anything to help.

Magic Magisto!!!. I really like this app but it can be very time consuming to re-Edit and some of the new editing features have actually made it more clunky. If you try to take a picture out it now loops back to your photos and won’t let you delete. It also doesn’t let you download in a lower res so some of the files are too large to share. More improvements needed but still an alright app

Trying to preview.. Trying to view video with different themes but then couldn’t go back. Automatically selected second theme and I don’t like it. Want to go back to the one before but can’t. Guess I have to start again. Frustrating.

Almost excellent. It’s pretty good although a lot of these apps are the same deal. If you didn’t have to go premium this app would be a lot more popular. Over all I think this app is a great way to creat a clean video.

Top App one of the Best I have. I would rate this as one of the best for making video edits excellent have to Rate it 5/5. But be careful on the free 3 day trial, once you hit the button your charged, I was but because I like the app so much I let it go thinking maybe in some past life I already had a free trial and that why I was charged but it should not have happened anyway, it was about $27 but then when it was billed it came to a bit over $40 AUD, I do think that if it is sold in Australia then it should state either AUD or USD because it’s a big difference on exchange rates. I never gave this much thought until, I noticed other people with same complaints, if I do not receive a answer on this with in 5 days I will report this issue. Now other than the rip off with trial period I really do think this is a fantastic app and highly recommend it still regard the quality of this app 5 stars plus

Not recommended. Waste of money and extremely limited services. Wouldn’t recommend. You need to pay to use any of the good stuff. Waste of time. They won’t give you a refund either. Trick you into paying for their app and then will try and charge you for anything. Nowhere onthe website do you mention that all videos or any social media templates are premium products that require extra payment. On your homepage and videos you mention that they are avaliable for paid plans- not premium plans. When I paid $9.99 for a plan - you advertise "perfect for social media" - however the templates and premium layouts are all extra cost. In your promoted videos - you mention that the service offers quite a bit where that isn't returned for a normal customer. 1. I canceled my membership after a few minutes - without downloading or using your service it was very difficult to use and was very limited. 2. I was not able to use it for the purposes it was destired. 3. Upon requesting my cancelation my membership was immediately terminated on your end - I was not given a choice to keep the membership while the payment is valid (for a whole month) - therefore since you canceled the membership instantly upon cancelation I should be entitled to my refund.

Blur outcome. Hi. I actually like ur app. But... i look everywhere, there’s no option for me to better the quality outcome of final video. Just like i said, the final video it too blurry. Please fix it, within the next couple of days, or i will contact apple and demand a refund. I dont mind paying the money, but i expect satisfaction from app you are selling. Thank you.

Be Warned EXPENSIVE automatic subscription. Yes, I’m not an idiot - I am aware that they tell you all about the subscription when you install the app. But I personally cannot stand free trials that assume you want to pay $40/month after evaluating for 7 days, and too bad if you forgot to cancel or found the convoluted multi-step cancellation process difficult to navigate. No way is this app worth that anyway. So many better (and cheaper) video editing apps available. I evaluated for 1 day and then because I was paranoid about the subscription, immediately cancelled and uninstalled - but even then I’m nervous that I didn’t do it right.

Great app too pricey. It’s a really good app, but it’s way too pricey. After you download it gives you the option to download the business version and it’s $99 from memory to expensive.

Not that great. I didn’t like this app too much. I paid for the first month so I could make a video and be able to save it but I wasn’t even happy with the video. I couldn’t even edit it the way I wanted to and move things around and have it in different sequences. Every time I tried to do it, the app would create the video and I could adjust anything. I ended up not using the video made in Magisto and I downloaded iMovie instead and created the video I wanted, in the sequences I wanted it in.

Dumpster Fire App. This app is essentially a bunch of terrible, tacky templates, with little room for customisation. All I wanted to do was put a video on an infinite loop, and I couldn’t figure out if that’s even a possible feature here because the interface is so BIZARRE and user unfriendly. (I have a degree in film and television and this is not even remotely an editing software.) I could not fathom paying for it, but don’t worry - they’ll try to trick you into paying for it by surreptitiously rolling your free trial into an inordinately expensive subscription.

Ipad Interface. This app is amazing. However, when i want to rearrange the photos and videos it doesn’t show everything but when i do it on iphone i can see all the photos and easily reorder the media.

Love for this app is fading 😭. I used to LOVE this app!! I’ve always been able to create the most amazing videos with this app and found it incredible. However with the new update that was supposed to have given us more control in editing, all it brings is frustration!! I set a video length when first creating my videos, which is fine and the movie is made to that length, however then if I try to edit the movie in any way at all, it keeps adding extra time to the video!! Making it longer than the music! 😫 there is no option to delete slides in edit, only to hide which doesn’t remove time, and no option to choose the final length again in the edit suite. So unbelievably frustrating!!! 😫😫😫 please fix this! Even if you try to remove slides or simply turn the sound off on certain clips, it all seems to add extra time! 😫

Just wouldn’t recommend. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this. I make roblox animations and videos for fun and my iMovie isn’t working so I tried finding an app that I could do the exact same thing but on a different app so I downloaded this app thinking that it would be really easy and fun but it definitely wasn’t. If you don’t pay premium there’s a limit of videos/photos you can put in and being a roblox music editor I just wouldn’t recommend because if your doing like a vlog/blog or music video and you don’t wanna waste tons and tons of money then I certainly wouldn’t recommend and almost everything in the app cost money and some people don’t wanna spend money on silly apps so if you haven’t bought premium and your reading this review, just don’t buy it. It’s a waste of time. PERIODT

Good but could be better. Is a good app but it’s A shame that you can’t look up your music you have to search through millions of songs and sometimes you never find the one that you want so the video doesn’t turn out the way you want to to. So it would be good if you added that in.

Don’t download. When I got this app I just went in and it kicked me out so I kept going in and out it still just went out of the app then I deleted it afterwards I got it back and it wouldn’t allow me to create anything,I would like a response to this because otherwise I can just see the workers are lazy and don’t pay attention to there app. To be honest I suggest i movie instead. Plus can’t you see they only respond to nice comments and not suggestions? Total waste

Can’t download. It makes a good video and then I got to help centre to find out how to download and it says the steps and all the buttons on the steps aren’t there and I can’t save my video to camera roll and every time I press the download button it tells me I need to buy a subscription when the help centre told me I didn’t. Kind of annoying bun oh well

Music doesn’t fade out at end of video. Been using this for 3 years now. Could do with obvious improvements. Would be great if the music loaded fades out at end of video instead of a sudden stop. Having manual control on when audio overlaps clips would be great as well. Finally, on landscape mode, would be great if I could have two portrait photos on the one slide to avoid those plain borders on the sides. Thanks.

Free trial cost me $41. Downloaded a free trial, there’s obviously something in the small print that I missed because Magisto just took $41 out of my account for a professional subscription I never signed up for. Spent ages trawling through their site looking for a way to contact them but gave up in frustration. I wanted to request a refund as this debut was not authorised - would have preferred not to do it via a review but seems the only way to make contact. When the funds are refunded I will delete my review.

Fit to pull my hair out. Just spent hours trying to make a slideshow movie for my friends hen. Despite carefully arranging my pictures and videos in a reality timeline, this app just went and jumbled them all up. I thought maybe it was my fault so I did it again paining more attention. Same thing, then I realise they only give u 5 mins worth and cut whatever they feel like cutting. Then there was no sound at all so couldn’t pick my theme song. It wasn’t my phone as everything else was playing fine. But this was mute. And mute button not selected. It’s now 2am and I’m exhausted and very angry

Don’t get it. It tells you to get this awesome professional version for free. My mum has financial issues, btw. So I got it, and suddenly every month, my mum spent $30 on it. Eventually, 6 months later we figured out how to stop it. And I even deleted like 2 weeks after purchases started coming up, but it still did it. And it’s not even good anyway. So don’t get it

Sample version. Just tried the sample and seemed to be ok. Got a bit to figure out if I want to invest the $$ for infrequent use. Probably a little more ease with the editing would help but only used once so far.

You need to pay for use. It’s for people who use video edits lots otherwise not worth to pay 49$/month. They give you 7 days trails but. If you only need to photo once in a while is better to find some free apps. I never really used it so can’t properly rate.

Unfortunately by errors. I’ve used Magisto (pro version) for years and loved it, but over the last couple of months, something has changed, and it’s become unworkable. It now won’t put photos or videos in chronological order, the automatic editing is terrible (misses videos, the parts of videos it chooses to include is a poor choice) and often has processing errors and won’t make the video at all. I’ve spoke to support several times, and none of those issues have been able to be resolved. Unfortunately deleting and looking for a new app.

Best app ever!!!!. Actually, it’s the worst app ever. It says that it’s free and OFFERS in app purchases. But it actually only gives you a 1 week trial! 1 WEEK!!! Then after that 1 week trial you have to pay $10 a week (not trial)! At the end of the day, this app costs you a million dollars to have for only around 10 years! If you want to pay all your money the app, I won’t lie, but you MIGHT have quite amazing videos. No lie. So, yeah. That’s it I guess. This app is amazing and SHOULD make amazing videos but it costs you a million dollars. So it’s your choice. C’ya!

Very Annoying. The app looks great until if you don’t do any modifications. I spend so much time getting it perfect. Then just wanted to change the text slightly and it goes ahead and changes the text and adds 20sec of footage on my video. You need to give the user more control. I have the paid version so I expected more control. Get this annoying part fixed. I’m sending unnecessary hours re doing the same video 100 times just because I wanted to add two extra words in the text.

Automatic subscription when I’ve deleted app. Be aware that despite deleting the app during the free trial as I didn’t use it I’ve now discovered that I’ve been billed for a premium subscription for 2 months. I’ve finally managed to unsubscribe and will be billed again at the end of the next billing cycle.. so $120 for an app I’ve never used, deliberately difficult to unsubscribe and I notice you are automatically set up with the expensive monthly option not $9.99.. very disgruntled, can’t tell you how well the app works, only that the way the billing has been set up is greedy.

Overpriced and mostly useless.. The free version is so limited, you can’t even save the videos. I started the free trial to see what the app can do. Considering the amount of video editing apps available at no cost you’d think this $119/year — (which is only the useless ‘premium’ plan. You need at least ‘professional’ to use this app properly and professional cost you about $239/ year. Don’t think about the business plan.. it’s about $839/ year.) — would have TONS of options, not the case. You can’t edit which animations are used, or what order all the special effects should be. You basically put in your videos and hope that it does an okay job. Very basic. I don’t mind paying for something that would be worth it, but this app clearly thinks they are sitting on a gold mine with offering nothing extra that similar apps also have. Try out some free apps, learn and figure out how to use their animations and music, it will be the same if not better than this app.

Won’t let me edit or reorder clips or add text. Loved the app but recently stopped working properly and no longer gives me to opportunity to reorder or add text to my clips which defeats the whole purpose. I also can no longer choose how dramatic I want the effects to be. Disappointed and no longer worth what I’m paying for premium

Premium. Honestly this app is pretty bad although it makes the videos for you it doesn’t do an amazing job also if you want to download the video you have to have premium or the better videos, to make them is premium basically everything is premium. —my personal review

Great app but one thing needs fixing.. Bought professional but can’t use any of the stock videos ☹️ why not? The purchase screen keeps coming up every time I click on one... have tried exiting app, restarting phone etc. very frustrating.

Double charges my credit card all the time. It is a great app except for when they limit you and start charging you to use the full app then it seems to cost me a fortune always double charging me. It shouldn’t cost as much as it does no updates or new things occur for such high monthly payments. It’s should only cost once since there is nothing new you receive. It is just greedy money making thieves how they charge to use this app.

I love it. I really like how can you Use your imagination but I don’t really like how you can only put 10 thinks on pictures or videos on but that it’s really great my friend is on it now because I told her to get it to say you’re welcome

The design makes you stuck to purchase. After you put the photos and pick a style you have to continue with a purchase without any backward button to go back to potentially pick a free style. You are stuck there. Feels very aggressive design to give you no choice but pay for it— worst of all, as the lack of heads up and early warning about that forced purchase you could have wasted time picking and selecting your photos. Deleted the app immediately because their bad tactic.

I want my money back. This app is awful. I wanted to make a simple memory video with photos and music... I paid for the premium. I couldn’t put my photos in order, the video used half of my photos, I couldn’t edit. I couldn’t change the timing. It was just a mess. You would think paying for premium would allow you to edit the order of photos at the very least.. make it clear that once you select photos and music you cannot do anything else with it before people pay money. Huge waste of time and money.

Amazing, friendly, no hassles. I been able to put my business brand in the market easily thanks to this app. I can create videos that generate leads and brand awareness in just 1min. Incredible and easy to edit and post your videos in social media.

Not happy. I’m disappointed to learn that themes I previously used for free, are now premium and I have to pay for a subscription to use them. You can’t search by free themes, and anything that is of remote interest and the tiniest bit useful is now only for premium users. Awesome video making App. Love this app, so easy to make quick little videos. But wish you could see the clips that are in the draft easier and can also adjust where can put some videos or photos into the timeline.

Sneaky billing. I downloaded the free trail and subscribed for it then was waiting for a message to say I needed to re subscribe because my trial was over but instead got a $141 bill for an app I used once. The way to cancel the subscription was very difficult and I did it immediately after I was charged. I’m very disappointed and feel as though I’ve been cheated for a lot of money.

Charged for trial. Downloaded the app app to test out the free trial and was charged 50 bucks for an app I wasn’t even sure I wanted I’ve used the app once on the free trial and ever since I haven’t opened it hoping that If I don’t subscribed won’t be billed unfortunately I was can there be some sort of way for me to get a refund of my money as I don’t even use that app and never subscribed ‼️‼️

Rip off. The monthly fee of $42 is ridiculous. I thought perhaps I might be able to still use basic functions, but most of the videos I clicked on required upgrading or payment to unlock (the website that recommended this app never mentioned anything about a monthly fee or charges for selecting different video options). The fees should be clearly stated up front. Was a complete waste of my time downloading this app.

Not impressed. This app seems to be free to download. Once downloaded it prompted me to subscribe for just under $6.49 AUD. Next thing I was restricted to premade templates and no option to have a video without a being locked into a template. The live option only works on a few photos - selected by the app, not giving any options to turn live on or off for a particular photo. The music is restricted to apps library or iTunes library on the phone. No option to upload music from downloaded files. Overall not impressed as gives the filmmaker no freedom.

What happened. Why is it taking a full day to create a 69 second video? And sometimes I get all the way to the end step and it tells me something went wrong and leaves me no option but to start over. I used to love this app because it was so easy to put together cute little videos to share memories with friends.

LAME. Not worth it at all!!! I would like to have my money back

No longer works properly. Unhelpful tech supprt. I’ve use this app for many many years and loved it! However, with the recent Apple update, it appears that the app does not work effectively. It takes forever for videos and photos to upload and be created into a video. I am talking days. I have attempted to reach out to tech on several occasions and their solution is to upload my photos from my phone to google. This does not seem to be a solution, but seems to be a workaround. It also appears that many times storage is being held and iOS system data and it is telling me my device is now out of storage after many hours dealing with Apple. It’s a prayers that the software is corrupting files and I’ve had to resort to wiping my phone and restoring from back up very disappointed in this current Benny and their lack of interest in truly solving the issues

*** BUYER BEWARE ***. I used this app for a few months and bought the pro edition last year . After not using it anymore and deleting it I found a renewal charge recently for a new year. It was a day ago so I contacted support to ask for a refund as I don’t use the app. I was informed I was SOL as it says when you buy it that it’s auto renewal. I would assume you’d get some notification. I hope you enjoy enjoy my $120. I didn’t even have the app on my phone. I had to re-download it to contact support.

Used to be decent until they got greedy. Greed poisons the soul. You and many others are a perfect example of an app that could have been something but decided to pursue money over customers leaves a company with neither. Customer over money leads to an abundance of both. Hope you have a complete restructuring of the philosophy your company values.

I do like it, but….. It’s great! But The music options are wow, but I wish it would let you upload your own! Also, I love the filters but there could be more options. I would enjoy face filters too. Also, a LOT of stuff is premium (more then you need??) and it is a little finicky to work. Oh yeah, and I think people may want to edit it, and make it themselves, rather then AI generate, but I do like how there made! But it is really good and I like it, But really, add this fast

This is a fantastic app!. This app is not free yet worth every penny. It is easy to use (though latest update makes it a bit harder to rearrange the order of pictures and videos! Take note developers!) but still it is easy to make wonderful videos that you will cherish forever. Memories come alive and it’s so much more enjoyable and fun to watch a video of special moments than it is to look at picture after picture. I can’t say enough nice things about this app. My entire family enjoys watching them and even my grandkids (2-4 years old) love to watch them. I have enjoyed this app for several years, I subscribe yearly to the premium version, it has come to my attention that after I paid $39.99 for my yearly subscription, it was then switched automatically to monthly payments of $39.99, not something I would have ever agreed to. I have reached out to apple with no help in obtaining a refund, and i have reached out to the app developers as well, hoping to receive a reply and a refund ASAP. *check your statements carefully

App downgraded once I bought the premium. Initially, I enjoyed using Magisto as it automatically created impressive videos for me. However, after my free trial ended, I didn't have access to premium features and stopped using it for a year. Recently, I needed the app again to create automatic videos, so I downloaded it, played around with it a bit, then made the decision to buy the premium, but unfortunately, instantly the app degraded significantly. There are no menu buttons, the picture quality is poor, and there is no audio or picture in any videos. It takes a long time to import, but uploading is fast. Hopefully, uninstalling and reinstalling the app will fix the problem. Additionally, I assumed the app would automatically create videos from my gallery after upgrading to premium, but it no longer does that.

Charged right away.. Said 7 days free but was charged right away. I don’t recall having a previous free trial. Be sure you want this as it will cost you $40. Brutal

Wicked for travel videos. This is such a smart app. I inputted a bunch of random video clips from my Cali trip and it put the right ones next to each other, transitioned them professionally all with some pretty sweet electro music! All I had to do was select my clips, the theme and tune and boom...a perfectly edited video! Definitely going to upgrade so I can have even more selection and longer vids! Thanks guys! Keep up the impressive work :)

Great...but. I really like it but the problem is that when I tried to search for the songs I wanted to use which include Someone to you by Banners, castle on The Hill by Ed Sheeran, Home by Nick Jones, etc. so I would appreciate it if you added more songs like what I just mentioned to the list. I also wanted to make those fancy little titles you would see in some videos but I was disappointed to see that this app does not have that feature. It really is a good app I'm just disappointed it didn't have the stuff I just mentioned in the previous paragraphs. I hope you found this review useful.

DISAPPOINTING: Why do you need access to ALL of my media?!?. I thought that this would be a great app to use to create a slideshow for my family of our Christmas 2020 photos. But, the app would not let me create the slideshow (even after I selected the photos I wanted to use for the slideshow) unless I ALLOWED IT TO VIEW AND USE ALL PHOTOS AND VIDEOS ON MY DEVICE!!! There is absolutely NO NEED for your app to “view & use” ALL of my photos and videos. That is a TOTAL invasion of my privacy and you should not REQUIRE this type of access to my device in order for me to use your app! I actually thought about subscribing, but I’ll find another app that doesn’t try to force me to allow them access to all of my media in my device. No thank you!

An amazing app. It is an amazing app and I love it, it has everything that I need to make top notch looking edited videos that have gotten praise great praise. The only thing that I don’t like is the music choices that they offer, they are not the best but when you look you could find one you could work with. I just wish that there were more options where you could search and choose the exact song that you want. Otherwise it is a grade A+ app in my book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Okay.... Overall I like the concept of it and I do enjoy it, have some issues. First, it doesn’t put the pictures where you would expect them to be. Also if you have more than one clip it’s not always in the order you’d think it was in. If people are actually making your videos they should make your videos make since, and putting clips in weird orders, putting pictures in wrong spots, is not the way to do it. Also I wish you didn’t have to pay to make your minutes longer than a minute and a half, and the only way you can make them longer is by going premium! I wish this app was just a little thought out better, and it would be nice if it where updated

Old version amazing. Well another app that did amazing things down the drain. I loved this app for years and they changed everything. It appears that you have more control over the outcome, but when you put loads of time into it, telling it what parts of what videos you want, and what photos to put in, and what order that you want, it mixes it all up and creates a mess of a video. It used to be a joy to see what it would do with my selections, now it’s a disappointment every single time. Not to mention when I try to fix it, it takes forever, and it doesn’t even change it to what I specified. Oh and they want more money now as well. A lot more money… c ya.

Needs a music upgrade. I use this app for a lot of things. I have the full professional upgrade. For the most part, this app does everything I need. The only downside, for me, seeing how much I use the app, is that more editing styles are needed. I would also strongly encourage the creators of this app to allow music from the users personal iTunes account. A lot of the music available works great with the videos. Again, for how frequently it’s used, Videos start to get repetitive without more editing and music selections.

Disaster.. Memberships and pricing is confusing. Glitches with subscriptions mean I’ve been paying for months but have no access because it shows I have a membership but then won’t let me access any tools until I upgrade and then when I do it says I already have a membership and the infinite loop continues. Support was helping and then stopped responding 3 days ago. No help. No use of the app but my membership just renewed of course despite it being completely not functional. I sent screen shots. They told me to uninstall and then stopped responding when that didn’t work. What a waste of time. I needed to create content last week-now I’ve moved on to an app that actually works ... meanwhile still PAYING FOR THIS

Do not get the paid version. Too bad that this company has such a poor idea of customer service and is only concerned with the bottom line. When they auto-renewed my yearly subscription they never sent a reminder OR even a receipt for the charge. I only knew they charged me for another year of service because I saw the charge on my credit card. When I asked for a refund with the understanding that I’d circle back in a couple of months for another year of service at that time. they couldn’t be flexible or refund me even though I’ve been a paying customer and fan of the app. Even a great paid service isn’t worth it when the company doesn’t demonstrate willingness to work with loyal customers. Alas, a short sighted decision on their part.

Great Application. This app has been with me for years now, and I’m so happy I have it. I’m always on the go and sometimes when it comes to editing on my computer it takes a bit longer than I would like. BEEARE! They automatically charged me without notifying me. I would in NO way sign up with this company or even use the trial. They automatically charged me a subscription fee and I did not even realize that I had signed up because I thought I was just playing around with the app and then it automatically signed me up without me knowing it. A days later I was charged $30 and no one from this company will help me get my refund. I was literally just charged $30 yesterday and I immediately contacted the company several times to get a refund and no one will help me get a refund. I tried contacting Apple and I just get an automatic response that says they will not give me a refund. I’m not one to normally complain but this is the WORST customer service ever - Honestly it feels like a scam to take your money. I finally figured out how to cancel my subscription after searching around for an hour trying to figure it out and canceled it but I can’t get a refund. I sincerely hope that someone from this company will see this review and decide that it would be best to give me a refund since I am not using the app and it just charged me yesterday.

Be careful.... I downloaded the free trial for this app a few weeks ago. I knew that it would not serve the purpose for which I downloaded it within 60 seconds and immediately followed steps to cancel the subscription (knowing that it would charge me the following month if I did not cancel). When I attempted to cancel the subscription, the app offered me a discounted rate to avoid losing my subscription fee, I declined the offer and confirmed that I would like to cancel the subscription. Now I am receiving a billing notification from the App Store for a $30 monthly charge for the privilege of using this app for 60 seconds. I have since discovered that there is a very deeply embedded cancellation process and have truly (hopefully) canceled my subscription. Beware of this app, it is far from free.

I’m really impressed by this app. I’ve enjoyed the first 10 minutes on this app! Video editing is fun in a nerdy way for me because I just like telling a story. This app gives you easy to use templates, music and more specific elements to add to your own photos or videos. I also like that it gives you a feed to post to, separate from Facebook or Instagram because my videos do not need to be broadcast, they are fun to make and i feel if you want to watch one do it:) good app in terms of fun to create and a new form of media!

Love it! Just what I needed.. Ok so I’ve been looking for the perfect hands off (kinda) video editing app. I’ve only used this once but it’s perfect for my needs. It’s like it knows when to cut audio and or images and creates what appears to be a professionally made edit! I’m sure it does way more for those that want more control but this was absolutely perfect for me. The cost is a bit high, wish they had a discount for long term subscribers maybe 6 months or a year? Anyway I’ve only done one but it was great.

Highly Unsatisfied.. Me, not being a filmmaker of any kind. Used Magisto some time ago and put together one of the most treasured memories of my daughters life. The video was sensational! It was the first time she rode a bike by herself. Today she turns 11, and I quickly remembered how frustrating and regretful I am for using this app to capture this. I haven’t found any way to post it on Instagram, can only get it on an old Facebook and that I don’t use anymore, or can only provide the stupid link so people can check it out. It’s ridiculous and so frustrating. This is clearly driven by emotion but I’m okay with that, because I would totally pay anything asked if only I can have the video I make with it.

What a disaster of an app. I just can’t comprehend who this app is for since it seems to actually be less useful than iMovie. Can’t figure out how to edit the clip start and end position. Can’t figure out how to crop the video or if that’s even possible. The app actually uploads your video to their servers rather than just keeping the files on your phone which is not only a huge data and time waste, but also a horrible idea. The best I can figure is this is for if you want to create cute little style themed clips with their music as the sound file. Oh and if you need the pro version for some reason that’s $30 a month. Yeah right I’ll pay for premiere before I do that.

Do not get free trial!. Do not download this app!!!!!! I got a free trial of this app to make a slideshow for my best friend’s funeral 10 days ago and the app didn’t do what I needed, as far as adding specific songs (downloads) to the slideshow. Well, before I canceled my free (what I thought was a 1 month) trial, they have charged and overdrawn my account because it was not planned. When I requested a refund, it let me know that they had determined that I didn’t qualify for a refund immediately after I hit send. How it was determined so quickly, I don’t know. I tried to submit 3 more requests and got the same immediate response! If you took my money, you could at least consider offering some customer service and not just ignoring my requests!!!!!!!

I like it, but I feel they’re getting greedy!. I love this app, but they keep making it more expensive. Many of the choices that used to be included with the regular subscription are now moved to the premium. They don’t seem to be adding enough new content or features to tempt me into the quote a bit more expensive premium option. Add more song options, more choices for videos, and editing options where we can add videos where we pick which sections of the video get added. Also give us the choice whether we want the sound of the video to be heard or not.

Not ready for business use. Cool concept but it will take my instruction videos and chop them up and change the order of them. It’s very annoying to then take a bunch of 4 second clips and try to reorder them again. The edit control are crude and trim edits don’t track with footage correctly. It’s a cool concept and I think it can be great but it makes things worse many times. I need this to take an instruction video and trim out dead time to make them snappier, mix music and be done. I don’t need a full remix every time. The let me edit and adjust some trim and remove a few things. But please stop mixing all my clips!

Great app. First review I’ve ever done no lie but this is a dope app for makin ur own short videos I jus used it for my first time but I can see things i would like to be better about it but overall it’s a great app just needs a little bit of refinements in all aspects more powerful more user friendly help with things the common person wouldn’t understand make it more bold in the appeal or naming perhaps. Just hoping it turns into an app I’ll love n maybe possibly be able to make money from because there is a business section I haven’t tried it yet

Use to love it. I use to have fun making videos and they came out good especially for a free app. Now when I post It on social media I can’t just post it as a video like you use to. It is pulled up from the Magisto app. More like an advertisement for the app then a fun made video. Small frame to view video. Also there is less you can do with your videos due to added charges. The #Magisto should of been enough to show how you created it. Now looking for new apps that I will have ways to connect pictures and videos.

ALSOM APP. This is a must hav apps takes all the work out of editing and everything with just a couple presses of a button and you have your movie!! Def a 10 star in my book it's a shame I can only give it 5 !! (2) I tell you again this is the best APP EVER!! I just love it and THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT LONGER!! this is just to cool BUT WARNING !! Don't film any of your movies with a tv blaring in the background it will interfere with the music you picked for your movie!! Still supercool!!

Not Worth the Download. I downloaded the app purely for leisure because I wanted to add some music to some of the videos I’ve taken but I’m guessing without paying the ridiculous monthly fee some people are mentioning, you literary get almost no options. No modern music options at all, very limited editing and for someone who isn’t going to be uploading as a professional, I’m very disappointed in this app. The scariest part though, is that I see A LOT of 1 & 2 star reviews and somehow the overall score is still 5 stars... Is that how it’s supposed to work? Lol Anyway, save yourself the trouble (and the money) and find another app that will do what you need it to do.

Not Working Properly. This was a great app for a while. But they aren’t keeping up with newer phones and iOS updates. Although I have the newest iPhone and keep my phone software up to date, this app no longer works. There are consistent issues uploading videos, editing has become cumbersome, the app makes my phone heat up, and I sometimes have to restart just to get the app working again. It’s really too much trouble. Unfortunately, I’m a paid subscriber, which means I’m getting nothing for the high cost of this app. I’m only hanging on in the hope they finally fix things.

NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE. I downloaded this app about three or two years ago when I first found it and it was PERFECT, I could upload my own music without a problem and cut my clips into the clips I wanted for the video. Here it is 2019 and now the app is wanting me to pay to add more than a certain amount of time the pictures and videos will take up on my video & wont let me upload my own music. First the app tells me to download the song to my phone instead of just iCloud, so I do & then it tells me it can’t be used for some reason, yet I pay for iMusic so I don’t know why it won’t work.. honestly just going to undownload the app and on the look out for something better 👀

Versatility with photo sharing. I love this app, since I adore taking photos of my family, as well as taking videos and using photos for learning purposes within my work. The app allows me to create memories that otherwise would be “lost” with all the photos that can sit in a phone’s camera roll. It also helps my other family and friends relive those moments, since life is so busy. No issues with app crashing or any other technical issues.

This app has a lot of work to do.. This app is honestly not my favorite.... I don’t really understand how to edit and WHY I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE “PRO” FEATURE. I mean, I’m probably never gonna learn how to edit with this app, because it is not the best teacher. I made one video, and let the app do the editing. And seriously, I don’t get why we have to pay for the pro feature which is basically the full app. You either make the app free, or you make the whole app cost money. I’m certainly not going to waste my money on an app I don’t know how to use. It’s like saying, only people who pay every month can get everything on the menu at a restaurant. Do you get what I am saying? This app is not my style and I don’t anyone could talk me into using it again.

Color change not working for fonts.. I love this app it. The new version is visually pleasing but still doesn’t work correct. At the moment I’m trying to change the color on text so it’s visible on certain backgrounds. IT WONT LET ME SWITCH THE COLOR ON TEXT. I’m getting frustrated being that I pay monthly and can’t get a simple thing like this to work. I would like this correct immediately so I can continue promoting thank you! I’ll change my rating soon as.

Great app but has flaws.. I love this app it makes my sports vidoes a lot easier and exciting to create and watch but it has uploading flaws. Half the time I will get error on my vidoes and then after I work so hard to create the videos they will just delete at times instead of giving me a retry button. The app has some things of that nature to work out and I don’t really feel like I get enough worth out my premium package. The premium should get a lot more than what it does for the pay. But all in all it’s a great app with a lot of potential!

Scam Don’t Do It!. I barely tried the app itself because I noticed the negative reviews right after I did the free subscription. Of course, I was then stuck like the many others in the reviews. It took me forever to get around the scam of unsubscribing. Real slick scam to have an unsubscribe button in the app that doesn’t truly unsubscribe you. Had to go into itunes account and kill it there under the subscriptions section. Don’t know why Apple allows this garbage but I’ll have to watch my account for the next few months to make sure they don’t hit me like they did others. I’m never loading a new app again before reading the reviews! You have been warned! Seems like they found a way to give themselves a nice star rating to fool you too. These guys are good.

SCAM - No way to cancel “free” trial. I subscribed for free trial and I did not like the app. It won’t use every picture you select (it seems to have an algorithm that “smartly” selects for you) so it was not what I was looking for, since I like to do the selection on my own. I then tried to unsubscribe in the app and it tells you that you cannot do that on the app but that it needs to be done on your Apple ID. Problem is the Magisto App does NOT register in Apple, so there NO WAY to UNSUBSCRIBE given it will not appear on your Apple ID subscriptions. Apple says to contact developer but developer does not have contact details in the App Store. Brilliant way of continue to charge you 29 a month for an App you do not want. PLEASE ANSWER ME AND UNSUBSCRIBE ME FROM “FREE” TRIAL, before I take this to Social Media.

Nickel and dime you. I loved this app when it first came out and thought maybe in time the developers will change it to allow for different editing capabilities. They did, but you have to pay. And now suddenly you have to pay just to save the video to your phone as well? Sorry I’m not a fan of these apps that nickel and dime you. There are tons of FREE video editing apps that give you cool editing effects, allow you to rearrange and cut clips, and save your work FREE. After years of Magisto I am deleting this app for good. The final video result always leaves me disappointed anyway. I discovered the app Quik and am much happier.

Family Memories. This app is an easy, quick way to share special family moments! I love that I can add music from my own playlist! The app provides a great selection of themes and allows me to choose a length that is easy to share on Facebook to share with friends. I have used it with my preschool class to share with parents, adding just the right song that demonstrates the new concept we are learning and the students actively involved in learning activities! The students love seeing their movie as well.

Superb App!. This hands down the best video creating app out there. Simply terrific! Update: This truly is a great app and very convenient to have. I would love to upgrade to the professional, and would do it in a heartbeat, if it were less than $30 a month. $360 a year is just too much for me to spend on a video editing app. All costs add up, and though I would love do you lies professional, the cost would definitely have to come down, quite a bit! Anything you can do, guys?

Wont save and play the photos i want. So, since downloading this app lastweek. I feel like a pro in using this app. Its a lot of work but this app has a great future in photo/video slideshow making. 1 thing that really really bothers me is when i edit the movie i made, it wont show the photos i added. For the nth time it shows the photos i dont want instead of the new ones i added. I keep on editing the movie but it seems it has its own stubborn mind on what my movie should look like. It’s annoying. Please fix. Oh and please add a delete button for when you edit the movie.

It’s nice but not $30/month nice. I’m not really seeing what this does over other similar apps that makes it so pricey. While I understand the reasons many developers are moving to a subscription model, I do NOT understand what makes this app worth $30/month. In fact, I don’t think I’d pay that much for any app on a monthly basis. It’s absurd. This editor is nice but apps like Quik, Splice, iMovie, and others can achieve the same results for free or far less (with no monthly cost). I would consider this app if the price was more like $20/yr, or a couple of dollars a month, but the current price is just too high.

Awful. You will be asked to upgrade once you purchase the lowest level of service. There should be a clear description of all levels of service because in order to create HD high-quality edits you will need to pay for the top level which is fine however it is not something that they mention to you during the purchase process. So, you will only have 720 P quality even after you purchased the professional version and that isn’t mentioned until AFTER you keep buying each level... The edits are also very generic. You’re better off spending the time and creating them yourself with iMovie or something like that..

meh... Not sure you can really purchase creativity. Effects are canned and cliche, music is bland and innocuous. And the constant pressure to upgrade is obscene. Also the free tryout version is so limited you’re not inspired to upgrade to the “Professional” version which lets you do incredibly amazing things like change the order of your pictures and add a logo. You won’t be able to download your video unless you upgrade, and sharing your video is essentially advertising for Magisto since their logo will be all over it. In the long run you’ll be much better off getting a real video editing program and learning how to use it. ps. pretty sure most of these review ratings have been jacked

In app purchase from the start. Delete as soon as I had to log in with Facebook which I did and than it tells me I must pay. Free trial for however many days. I instantly deleted at this point and will make certain I am not charged. This should be stated st the very beginning that it is s free TRIAL ONLY. I would never had even bothered to download. It’s a trick I see all too often now. Developers are not telling people it’s a trial and we put it on our devices. We will not use it but unless we go and decline at the end of the trial the developers are already charging your account. iTunes should TOTALLY BAN THESE TYPES OF APPS unless stated at the very beginning in the descriptions. So I never even tried the app. I don’t like to be deceived.

Not easy to operate and difficult to cancel. I uploaded 72 photos. It did not tell me that it was too many. It automatically condensed my photos and did not include all of my photos. The editing options are very difficult and not easy to operate. So I never managed to make the video the way I wanted with all photos. Then I tried to cancel. Which there are multiple steps in order to cancel. You have to cancel it in the app. Then go to your Apple ID settings and unsubscribe to which I’m still unsure if I’m successfully cancelled. They get you to sign up for a free trial then will automatically charge you if you don’t unsubscribe but I can’t unsubscribe successfully. VERY CROOKED way of doing things especially when I’m not even satisfied with the apps function.

Couple of improvements or ideas for this app. I have used this a couple of times it’s good but need some improvement. I think that there should be an walk through or steps on how to creat a good video or photo edit. Second I think that you should make a lot of it free because more people are gonna get it ore make the expensive stuff like idk 3 or 4 dollars or a trail for 4 every two months so in a year 22 dollars. It may not seam like a lot but people are gonna get it if you do that insted of 12 or 15 dollars for photo edits THATS CRAZY!?!?! But I hope you like theses ideas and the one issue. and yes ik my ideas are friken stupid.

Unusable!. This latest version has become unusable! I like to compose most of my own scenes so make heavy use of editing features. Importing of video files is painfully slow, and crashes if I select more than 10-12 of them from my album. The new timeline also suffers from excruciatingly slow reaction, making cutting scenes prone to inaccuracy. At times the video preview does not match the timeline. I’ve been using Magisto for over 4 years, there have been bad releases but this one seems to be the worst. I really hope the developers can get a handle of what is going on, because in its current state I can’t complete my projects.

Disappointed. I found this app when I tried to look for a video editing app. I was tired of using iMovie because I was trying to find an easier way to edit. When I came across this app, I instantly went to the reviews. Most of them were people complaining about the app, but I figured I would give it a shot. Once I opened it, I was disappointed to see that you had to pay money to unlock all the features, where on iMovie you don’t need to pay. I’m sorry to say it, but this is worse than iMovie even though you have to pay for all features. I hope this can improve.

Game changer!!. While video making apps are already a way to give extra life to pictures Magisto exceeded all expectations by making it extra easy for you! Great variety of songs, effects (light, medium or heavy) depending on how much impact you or emphasis you want to make, the ability to add subtitles, transitions, filters , etc. I love it and thanks to this app I’m leaving one of the most meaningful gifts for my kids for the future. Nothing like it! I’m a very pleased and satisfied customer!

It’s kid appropriate does not have bad content. My favorite part about magisto is making the edits because there is a lot of different filters. There is only one thing that I don’t like and that is having to be a professional and buy your way up to greater edits. I give this app a full 5 star rating and I wish other apps were like this!!!!!

Not a video editing app! Beware. You upload all your private videos/photos to some company's servers. This is a front for a website that generates montages from your clips with some effects added. When you upload, you have to accept a long terms of service agreement document, written by lawyers, in a language that will make you cringe. Basically you give away your videos and hope for the best... If you're fine with that, expect to wait for hours for your HD and 4k videos to finish uploading... Oh and also don't expect any decent resolution results - they limit the output resolution to laughable SD, or if you pay heaps you get 720p (like it's 2010 again)... Or you can pay even more for "business" (!?) to get the privilege to download a last-gen 1080p version.

What is going on?!. I used to love this app, but had no need to use for the las year or so. This week I decided to make a video with pix and vids from a recent trip and OMG how frustrating this app has become. I add certain pix and the end result is never correct. They keep repeating some images and completely not showing others. I have to keep editing the video and it’s never what I ask for. After about 30 tries (no exaggeration) it’s still not making the video collage needed. It seems like the app completely isn’t capable of “memorizing” the pix I add and it’s just doing its own thing. Definitely not worth 30$/month... wouldn’t even pay 30$/year. Unsubscribed 👎👎👎

Magisto Moviemaking. I really enjoy the app. I love creating movies with the the different templates. I just wish that editing was easier. It used to be that when I didn’t like the creation, I could go back to the list of pictures at the bottom of my screen and swipe up on the photo to remove it, but that option was removed. Now I have to go through my albums to locate the pictures I wanna take out. Other than this, it’s a great app!

Big fat ZERO. If you are looking to lose 30 dollars to create a trash video then Magisto is the app for you! I started the “free” trial with Magisto about a month ago and made a slideshow. It ended up looking like garbage and the quality of my video was distorted after using the app. After that disappointing outcome I immediately went to cancel the trial. It wouldn’t work, it kept saying ERROR or closing the app. Finally it had seemed as if I had cancelled it. I was wrong. They charged me for a full months subscription. There is no way of contacting them. I keep leaving reviews and I guess they have been deleted. That’s all I have to say. Don’t waste your time or money on this piece of trash. Good day.
