Worth it!. Very easy to use. I use it mostly when I travel. Click is loud and I even have a choice of clicks. Slider bar is very helpful. Worth the money.

love it. This metronome is absolutely perfect for running and trying to keep cadence in line with Chi running 180. If you have the kind of brain that can listen to two things at once (moms are naturally good at this, lol) than you can listen to your music while the metronome is tick tocking

Better than what I bought at the music store.. It works better than the one I purchased at a local music store (for a lot more than I paid here). I like how adjustable the tempo is. It has more options than the battery operated one I have.

Tempo slider disappeared!. It used to work fine until I upgraded to iOS 8. Now the tempo slider seems to have disappeared! I tried deleting this, then reinstalling, but it still didn't show up. That was a very convenient feature, as I am always changing tempo when I practice, increasing as I go. (I play mandolin). Now I have to find another metronome....

I love this metronome - I grew up using a wooden Franz. This thing is perfect. End of story; he's my little buddy that loves Miles Davis and Frank Zappa - he's always focused; we have a great time together playing the masters songbooks

Great!. As a music student, I need metronomes all the time for practicing. I love this metronome. Only one thing: I would like it if you didn't have to save every tempo you use. I also think it could or improved by adding things such as Allegro Molto, Allegro Moderato, and things like that; in between tempos. Thanks!

Perfect Puppy Tamer. Great for not intended uses! We got a new puppy last night, but no longer have any old style clocks to simulate mom's heartbeat. Bought this app, set the speed and our new puppy was asleep in minutes.

Metronome. Using it to pace my running. It stays running while using other apps and screen lockouts on iPod. Does everything I needed.

Best metronome app out there. Title says it all. I tried all the free ones. This one works wonders. Never fails, I can lock my screen while it beats (saves battery), visual is fantastic and a great help. It's loud enough too, where I can still hear it even when I play Rachmaninoff. Love it. This app has been very helpful. Rhythm has been a challenge, but this app has helped me with this. It is louder than my traditional metronome and easier for me to know when I get off beat.

Excellent App. This is an ideal app for helping to find the perfect timing for a song while playing the piano or any other instrument. It is also a whole lot cheaper than buying a standard metronome.

Just what I needed. Keeps you on the beat and enables you to work with other apps while it's ticking away. So following a cheat sheet till you learn a song won't shut off the metronome.

Exactly what I needed. It’s a metronome that works. It has multiple tones as well as variable speeds and time signatures.

Nice Little app!. No bells and whistles, just a digitized version of an old fashioned metronome. My only ‘complaint’ is when when you turn the volume up hear the max the difference between the downbeat and upbeat becomes negligible.

Basic metronome - does what it should. As an instrumentalist and choral singer, this app assists me during home practice sessions. Nice features include the ability to turn the downbeat emphasis on or off, a visual display that can be used with no sound, and different tones for the click. I love the "tap here" feature - this helps me to pin down the actual tempo my director is using, which is helpful later during practice. I'd give it 5 stars if it included choices for verbal time directions ("presto", "andante", etc. ) and it would be a bonus if it included a tuner as well. But as it is - I use it frequently and it does what it needs to do! Great choice for a useful free app!

Therapy Exercise. This metronome is perfect for therapy exercises to correct my problem with vertigo. I need to move my head from side to side while my eyes remain focused on a stationary object. My head movement has to be at certain speeds and this app works just right.

Awesome app!. I play piano and guitar and recently, our metronome broke. This was a LOT better then getting a new one. Take my advice and instead of paying money for a metronome, get this app instead!

Best EDM ever!. Seriously, though, I like it. Simple and to the point. It overlays with the music so I can figure out just what the beat is on favorite songs.

A good workable program. @@@@@@@********* Addendum: several days ago I wrote a 4 star review of this program noting that the downbeat emphasis had a habit of disappearing after a few minutes. Peter, the writer of this fine program promptly fixed it and I now proudly award 5 stars which it absolutely does. If you are looking for a program that does its job with little fanfare but with quiet efficiency, look no further - better get it while it's free. Kudos Peter. I've got several of these metronome programs - I find they are best for giving me cadence count on my walking and running regimen. This one does the job BUT after about 15 minutes or so drops the downbeat emphasis the programmer has so meticulously put in. It reverts to a flat count. Be nice if this got fixed because it's a clean compact program -- there's a lot of us walkers and runners out here looking for a program that'll give us a clean cadence count over Bluetooth with the ability to integrate our music (Hint - Hint). For some reason or other Bluetooth seems to send some of these others into a black hole. Spruce this up a bit with emphasis on cadence counts for us walker/runners 100 to 200 steps a minute or so with the ability to adjust our downbeat emphasis and various sounds all with music (already on our iPhones) and Bluetooth and I'll buy it Mr. Programmer.

Really helped. I used this app to help me with keeping the same tempo when i played the piano! Only problem is that the bigger sound isn't different sounding only the picture on the screen is! Great app though!!!!¡!!!!!!¡

Great app. I like the flexibility of the app to change the time signature. I gave it 4 stars because the downbeat auditory cue is only a little louder than the other beats. I would like a greater differentiation of the auditory cue for the downbeat. An option for a verbal count (one, two, three, four, etc.) would be nice for someone like me who is counting challenged.

Great when it works. This is a simple app that is easy to use and you can save tempos as presets so you can both have quick access to a favorite tempo and track your progress as you practice over time. I gave it a low rating because, mine stopped working on my iPad about two months ago and I've been unable to reach anyone for tech support. If you get it, it might work or it might not.

Store tempos, but needs visual downbeat. Cool functionality. The interface is great and allows you to select tempos in intervals of one. The tick isn't very loud and is a little weird sounding, and not having a visual downbeat is a big drawback. From the reviews of other metronomes, however, this seems like the best free one.

Great App. The app is great-easy to understand and user friendly.

Easy to use and very flexible.. Multiple sounds, different time signatures (including _no_ time signature when you want a steady beat without emphasis), self-evident controls, and the ability to save multiple tempos as "presets" make this an excellent tool.

Great App. It is a great metronome. I especially like it because I can hear It very clearly over the noise of my Tuba, even if I have to play loud. All in all, great app, and you can't go wrong for free.

Metronome. I wish there were more higher-pitched tones or Ticks, as a few are more wooden sounding and can't be heard v. Well. Otherwise, this app really comes in handy and I like that I can save the settings to refer back to.

Great for Working on Run Pace. Easy to use and reliable with a good selection of tones. I like the high, bouncey one as it encourages me to stay elastic and step lightly. Being able to change downbeats from 2/4 to 3/4 ensures more even strides that don't favor right over left once I get the pace "in my legs."

Easy to use. Works well, easy to use for kids' violin practice. Though it displayed a metronome ticking back and forth, but it does not. If it did, that would be five stars!

SImple, reliable. My 10 year old son uses it when he plays the piano. He's going to use it right away, and has never had a problem.

Best metronome app. This is one of the only ones that allows you to turn off any time signatures, and simple look and feel is the best.

Very useful. Works very well. Good use of the sweeping bar visual. Only complaint: buttons and controls are too small so I end up missing them all the time. The iPad is big enough and there's plenty of empty space to make the buttons bigger.

This is for us drummers. Do it! It even remembers what tempos you are working on. I would like a few more options in terms of the clicks but the 5 they have are fine

Not terrible. Just okay.. Works well enough for a free metronome. Sound is not loud enough though and the visual indicator is not all that useful. At least the interface is simple and there are no ads which is a plus. Tempo presets are also not very common in free metronomes so that's a nice touch too.

I use it in place of my old one. This is such a useful app! Once my real metronome died, I downloaded this and it saved me a bunch of money! I love the easy-to-use tempo buttons and downbeat emphasizers. My only suggestion is that it would have an A tone for tuning.

Very basic and easy to use.. This app is very good. Although basic, this is exactly what 90% of all people need, basic, simple, and easy to use. As a former musician, this app is perfect for young musicians and dancers who need to practice rhythm. I highly recommend it if this is what you need.

Just What A Beginner Needs. I am trying to learn to play the guitar, I need a metronome to help me learn to keep time, not a lot of bells and whistles, just something I can see and hear. This works great!

Simple Tick. Not much to say except this is a great app. Simple to operate and has just what is needed. No extra things that I would never use. You need to get this!

Practical. Simple, easy to use but flexible. I like that you can set the rate by tapping- to set it to a song you are learning, turn on the song tap your foot, then add your thumb to tap the beat into the app. Neat!

Not great. Volume set at full is not loud enough to hear over instrument. No option to change the click sound other than 'low' or 'high'. We bought it because the free app we had did not have 6/8 time, but other than this problem the free app was much better!

Very good. Easy to use and extremely cheap compared to the price of an electronic metronome which does the exact same thing!!

Where's the slide gone. This used to be a great metronome but now that the slide disappeared in the last update and the plus/minus buttons are hit and miss, it's just too hard to use.

Annoying. It's hard to play music with because the sounds keep changing. It's a really annoying sound to be honest.

Great!! Small picky issue.... Could you please spell your tempo markings correctly? You have Adiago instead of Adagio... Otherwise I really like this metronome app. I use it in private lessons and in front of a full band!

Can't hear it. Sound isn't distinctive enough, blends in too easily with the other instruments. Why not use a standard metronome "click" sound?

Best metronome. As a big band drummer I need a perfect metronome. This is that what I need! It's very recommended for practice and stage.
