Good for what it does.. Online Amion is great. Perfect. Flawless. But the app is a problem. Why can’t we have a calendar view with weeks or months shown of our own calendar? Or with group calendars? Why can’t the app do trades? The app needs to put in all the functions of the web site. Because the website is great. The app is lame.

App not doesn’t work, horrible customer service. My app will not connect with my hospital schedule. Both myself and my admin have called and emailed (over 20 times) without help. Often no one answers and, if there is a reply to emails it’s often delete and re-download the app. I’ve done this many times and still the app says invalid login when trying to log in to the schedule (and yes the pw is correct). Very poor service and if I could rate 0 stars I would.

Fair. Pretty useful. It works well for the most part. But does not have a full page view like the web version. Used to not work well but seems to have improved. Lot of ads but I suppose there's nothing as a free lunch

Pointless App. I work with our scheduler for a large group or physicians and APPs. The app lately is nearly pointless as it seems to randomly choose what data will show up for day to day shifts or for some providers “My Schedule” page for our various clinics. My own schedule doesn’t show up even though I am both logged in to Doximity and our schedule and have claimed my schedule. The only solution I can find for this on the Amion help pages is to use the “classic” view … so if we are to use the classic view seems the app is pointless as the classic view can just as easily be accessed through a browser and the way it’s displayed in the app is really the same as on a browser on a mobile device. Also, trading and giving away shifts still has to be done in the “classic” view so I guess I’m just not sure what the point of this app is? I think our larger organization as a whole probably has 500+ providers needing to use Amion and I’m hopeful we can see some improvements soon otherwise at some point we probably need to see if there are some other options with more usability.

New update made it much more confusing. Wish I can get back to older version which clearly showed when I was on. Now it’s too confusion to see when I’m actually working. I have to use ‘classic’ view to actually see who’s on. Worst of all, it sometime doesn’t even show schedule for anyone even when schedule is already published. Please go back to previous version before more people leave this app/program for other alternatives scheduling programs.

New version is inefficient. The new update makes it so much harder to switch between Logins and it got rid of the calendar tab to see your own schedule. It makes things that could have been done so easily on the old version take so many steps! Can we go back to the old one?

Loved the app until the last update. Since the most recent update, all I can see is a month calendar, and there’s no room at the bottom of the screen for me to see who is on the schedule. We need the option to customize if this is the look going forward. It appears to have been formatted for users with large phones, and those of us still using small screens can’t see the schedule. I’m hopeful this will get corrected.

Nice App but don’t like new view. Great App.. but they changed the overall view on phone with new update. I liked the old view where you could see everyone who was working on the date on whole screen as a list.

Terrible update. I used to LOVE the app for keeping up with my partner’s schedule. After the update, I can only see a view that shows me EVERYONE’S schedule in the entire department. To figure out when my partner is working, I have to sift through everyone’s name, every day, and try to remember. I miss the old interface that showed just my partner’s schedule on the calendar.

New update is TERRIBLE. The new update for the app is absolutely awful. The program and app worked perfectly before, I’m not sure why any changes were made. I schedule an inpatient team of 30 providers and all of them agree that the update has made scheduling more complicated to view and no one is happy with it. PLEASE CONVERT THE APP BACK

New update stinks. This new updated version has no way to look at your own calendar. They took away the “calendars” tab to where you can’t see your schedule except the daily. Garbage.

Latest updated made app useless. My group has been using amion for over a decade. More recently, our PIC has been pushing different program (lightning bolt) to be used by every department, but we kept using amion along with lightning bolt. But now with the update making the app totally useless, we are not sure if there is any reason to continue using amion anymore.

Update causing major messaging problems. Latest update of this app has made the messaging function almost useless for our large telestroke network. The messaging function now has 1) a nearly inaudible ring that can’t be changed, 2) no longer allows dialing direct from the messages, 3) no longer timestamps messaging times (critical to stroke care). This change renders the app useless to those that use it as a paging tool and unless fixed will make this aspect of the app obsolete and force us to look for an alternative.

Update made the app unusable. It was a great app until this horrible update. Instead of making it better and user friendly. The update turned the app and everyone’s schedules into a mumbo-jumbo. Completely useless. I just login on desktop or use the classic version to check schedule. It used to be an amazing app. I wish I never updated! Fix it.

Horrible. The app is useless. All it does is provide a link to the classical view of Amion. NONE of the features of the app actually work. The previous versions were much better. And the customer service is even worse. It took me countless emails and months of reminding them to fix a glitch that prevented me from logging on to the site and the app.

Multiple Calendars. I really wish I could see all of my calendars at one time without switching between them. I've missed a couple days at work because of it.

New app design is not functional. Good baseline product The old app was more functional though. The new UI doesn’t display as much info and is harder to use though. Wish they had not changed the app design, even if it looks more modern. The call schedule needs to be in the same order as the web platform.

Newest Update Still Confusing. This update has ruined the app. I used to use this app everyday to track which days my husband and I work and see who we work with in the department. The app has Sunday’s listed on the right which is opposite of traditional calendars and confusing. It also lists the same shift twice and does not do a good job of clarifying... so if I have one shift that overlaps two days (ie an overnight) it will appear twice and looks as if I work twice, it will list 8p-6a on both days and I just have to check the classic view to tell them apart, rendering the app page useless. It is cumbersome to switch group schedules as well. Wish I could revert to the old app.

Horrible update. The new update makes the App unusable due to poor user experience. I can no longer view my daily schedule or that of a colleague because everything is combined into one giant mess. Clearly they did not test this update out on people who actually use the app for their daily schedule

Great app. I have a large group who go to multiple hospital systems and this allows us to know what others are doing in weekdays and oncall weekends Plan vacations Notify colleagues about patient transfers The phone app needs to have 6 month or more data on it than current 90 days

So bad. Who thought any of these changes were a good idea?. There are so many terrible things about the new upgrade that it’s hard to know where to start. And I almost never leave reviews, so this demonstrates how terrible it truly is. It’s one of my most used apps, and I’ll probably stop using it now if they don’t get rid of all of these awful “upgrades.”

It's decent, widget needs some work to be helpful.. It would be VERY helpful if you had the option to show coworkers on widget. We use it to see who is on call for various teams... if I could see that (like maybe the classic view with the service and staff name... or 2-3 columns bass on the clients set-up) of 10 or so people, THAT would make the widget useful!!! You could allow multiple size widgets for those who need more or less services visible on the widget too.

No longer works with new update. This has been an amazing app for years but I made the mistake of updating and now it no longer shows my schedule and I have to put a password in every time. I’m very frustrated and hope it gets fixed.

Convience without bells and whistles. I can review schedules quickly - huge bonus. I would be nice if the individual user (not just the admin) had the ability to look at their metrics in a meaningful way (i.e. how many weekends or nights worked etc.) and be able to compare to their partners. Which would also mean that we need to access well beyond 120 days. Additionally, many of us who are Intensivist, ED docs and Hospitalists work well beyond our hours as represented on the shift schedule - it be fantastic if each user was able to log in their actual hours on their personal account.

Bad update. Terrible update making the app much less useful. Calendar view for “your shifts” was much better. Also taking away the ability to look at another persons schedule makes it impossible to be able to look for switching shifts when the need arises. Wish I can go back to the previous version

Rad group. We use this for our group (last 2 years) and it is perfect in its simplicity. It doesn’t need to do anymore and is easy it change/swap shifts. Excellent!

Latest update. Latest clunky update took away an important option to see the schedule of all my shifts in multiple hospitals at a glance. App instructions claim otherwise, but support link doesn’t work, so I am unable to resolve it.

Hate the new look. Wish there was a way to revert to the old Amion. The new calendar makes it very hard for me to see who’s actually on for the day since it includes who was on yesterday (since shifts are 12 hours and complete after midnight). Also, Contact Us option is conveniently broken.

Great Idea but not flexible. The fact that you need to use your Doximity login to access has made it useless for me. I was previously able to access my shifts without this Doximity login requirement update. Please change it back. Thank you

Update makes app nearly unusable. The new design update makes the app nearly unusable. One drawback is that the list of on-call people takes longer to load and the font/colors blend in together too much. This makes it difficult to separate out treatment teams. The biggest drawback though is that your personal schedule is no longer available! To me this is the entire reason I use the app. Now you have to load the physical Amion website to see your schedule.

Version 5.0 broke the app. Unfortunately this is not the previous application since 5.0 appeared in April 2021. The update completely broke the messaging feature- it is now inaudible and is resulting in multiple missed pages in my group. The schedule feature is now also much less intuitive and has lost functionality. Frankly the App Store needs to review app’s ratings, (the preview images in the App Store are also not of this app)

Scheduling made simple. Could live without this simple app which also keeps a lot of useful data for me to review

GO BACK TO THE OLD USER INTERFACE!!. The new layout is terrible. Not even mentioning the functionality issues others have with messaging, cannot find my own schedule in a nice format with multiple days like I used to. When managing my group for a day, looking quickly at who is supposed to be where on the app has now become an impossible task with the new layout. Please change it back it was very good and now it has been broken.

Convenient. I really like the convenience of just tapping on the icon and seeing who is on call and my schedule. I love that the app auto downloads onto my google calendar so I don't have to input my schedule! Wish the other group I take call for used it!

Update is a downgrade. I have been using this app for several years and the update that occurred within the last several months is terrible. I used to be able to look at my monthly schedule at a quick glance and click on any date to see not only my schedule but who I would be working with. That feature seems to have been removed I have also noted several “bugs” where my schedule did not reflect shifts I knew I was supposed to be working literally just removing that shift for several days as well as occasional discrepancies between my monthly calendar and group calendar. So frustrating when I don’t feel like I can rely on the app to do what it is supposed to

New update is terrible. The new design is a disaster. Everyone I work with has at least a master’s degree, and we were all confused by it. There’s no easy way to look at another person’s schedule. It’s difficult to figure out how to look at your own schedule. The calendar is small and difficult to read. And each week starts with Monday. That’s fine for some people, but it should at least be optional to have a regular calendar view.

The schedule doesn’t work for anyone. The update from months ago does not work…. None of my co residents can get their schedule from the new way on the calendar and has to be the original way so no use for the app …

Update Is Not Good. There is confusing information on the app now. People who work overnight appear on both days and it’s unclear which day is the scheduled day. I also keep up with other peoples schedules, and this new update makes this impossible to set up and see. Please go back to the app that is shown on the preview. The new one is awful in comparison.

Fix the lousy ‘update’. This is a downgrade of an app. I work nights and use to have a very loud and annoying alert tone to wake me up when I get paged. This new update does not allow me to select my message alert tone. So now I am not able to hear my phone or be woken up because the generic tone is so soft. FIX THIS ASAP!!

TERRIBLE UPDATE. You would think than an app update would be an upgrade, but this new version is TERRIBLE. Absolutely not user friendly. Everyone’s schedule is mashed together, so I can’t view my own schedule by itself. I also can’t view anyone’s separate schedule; in the previous version, I was able to click a person’s name and their schedule would pop up on the calendar. That option is no longer there. Whoever made these app changes should be FIRED. You clearly made things WORSE.

New amion App. As a resident transitioning to fellowship I’m a huge fan of the new amion app! While many of my colleagues struggled to use the app before we now all love it. The interface is much more user friendly. Scrolling and identifying your schedule is simple. The yellow dots on the calendar screen easily identify when you’re on call/have days off. It’s super easy now to follow coworkers schedules to propose swaps, etc.

Glitchy. It gets three stars because it works for me when I need to see the schedule. But it only gets three stars because the rest of the app is very glitchy, especially the profile section. Drop down menus drop but then won’t go away after you’ve made your selection. Sometimes the Cancel button is the only one that shows on screen and no Save feature can be found. So you end up losing all of your updates. The “Read More” button at the bottom of an article doesn’t always work. This app needs work.

The newest update is terrible. The newest update has been horrible. Not user friendly, difficult to see who is on, all around terrible upgrade. Takes a long time to load. Easier to log onto the desktop version from my mobile device and use that instead. Hopefully future upgrades will correct this issue.

Horrible update. I am no longer able to see my own schedule on the calendar individually unless I delete all of my coworkers whose schedules I need to see on a daily basis. The new update is so messy to look at. This app is now completely useless. Going to recommend our hospital use a different application, this update is absurd.

Great Scheduling App. We have very complex scheduling and it works great! I like how on an overnight shift we can remove the end date from displaying. I wish when the schedule syncs with my iPhone calendar, the end date would also be removed.

Best scheduling app so far. I have been using this wonderful app on my phone for about 2 years now. The AMION (Am I On?) app is more user friendly than any other app I have used in the past, with regards to scheduling and portability. One of the problems with apps like this has always been HIPAA compliance. However, this one has crossed that bridge, and so far, it has delivered effectively. There was a little glitch during the last major IOS update which caused delay in update of schedules to the app, but the problem was rectified within a short and reasonable period of time. Overall, the app is above average.

Horrible for large multi-assigned groups. This app and program has many issues. The app Randomly kicks you out and then won’t take the correct password. It doesn’t update well with the computer program. It doesn’t save your work preferences after hitting the submit button. I have had many employees voice how upset they get when using the app and I end up putting in their schedules manually. As far as the program, I have no choice but to use it because that’s what the company bought. I spent many hours on the phone with IT and Amion help desk. And still the program will not do what it’s supposed to. The info box doesn’t come up on start up. The program crashes without warning. So for every entry I have to immediately save after. Only one person can be on it at a time or it will ruin all the work you’ve put in. The more you use it the more problems come up. Now the shift boxes won’t retain there time frames as originally entered. The staff counts at the top are inaccurate and I can’t balance the staffing for day or night shift. We are using this program for 80 plus personnel and it can not handle it. For 20 or less and with people that only work Monday through Friday, it looks like it would work just fine.

Horrible Update. The new app update is VERY VERY VERY BAD. I work in an emergency department with about 30 other physicians and some mid level providers and everyone I have talked to feels the same way. We have used amion for our scheduling the entire time I have been employed at this job, now going on 4 years. The old app was simple, easy to navigate. We have many different daily shifts and the new app does not know how to keep them in chronological order. It now has become much more complicated to look at your own schedule (and it seems the only way is “classic view” which just shows you the same view as their website). I also work in another area within our dept that also uses Amion for their call schedule, and it is very cumbersome navigating between the two schedules since the uodate. They either need to go back to the old format or do a huge overhaul. Incredibly disappointing for something that I’m told we pay an annual fee for as a department.

great for pages too!. I love when my chief residents use this as a paging system since i can read all the texts on my phone instead of my pager. I would give it 5 stars if I could see my schedule more than 3 months out

Terrible update definitely a step back. The previous version with so much better so much more functional and work better. This one is buggy and moody. Forced to use it because that’s what our group uses but I really enjoyed the old version. Just go back to it make it better

Great App. This app allows me to carry my call schedule and book events around that schedule at any time. I know who is on and away and who can switch. Pre-populates my calendar and has interesting CME papers info as a value added service.

Can’t load personal schedule. Can’t load personal schedule. Able to see daily call listings similar to the online site, but ever since the personal schedule has stopped working the app has limited benefit.

Upgrade fail. If something is not broken please don’t fix it. The prior calendar layout and app was much better. Please don’t start doing to us what our EMR companies do—once we get used to interfacing with it...they “upgrade” it and doing simple tasks require re-learning...

Infuriating. The app is infuriating in its lack of intuitiveness or ease of switching between views — daily, weekly, monthly — or from switching from attending to resident schedules. The unnecessary incorporation of the unrelated non-schedule features are also annoying. I just want a calendar for myself, my practice and my residents.

Website is fine but app isn’t functional. My shifts don’t show up and certain functions aren’t usable in the app, you have to use the website.

Never shows my schedule. It showed my schedule for a while then ot all disappeared and it says that I need to use the classic version

Useless. Doesn’t work. Just keeps asking me to enter my login over and over but never actually shows me the schedule. Works fine on my computer’s internet browser so it’s definitely not an issue of entering the wrong login.

Too quiet. Even with everything turned up to max on my phone, the tone is really quiet. Any ideas?

Difficult to use on iOS after new update. The new update is difficult to navigate and pretty inaccurate. This app feels like a work in progress but is pretty unusable at the moment, so I’m relying on amion’s website instead.

Doctor. The I Phone app is easy to use. I can easily look up my schedule. I enjoy reading the Doxemitry news feed.

Missing personal calendar view.. The New version is terrible. Now you have to use Amion classic to view your personal schedule. Please move back to the previous version or add the personal schedule view ASAP. Thanks,

Excellent aid. Yes there are few glitches. But overall , it’s reliable and helpful. It meets its mission for me. The medical articles are very helpful!

Basic functions now non functional. How hard is it to test out basic functions, like buttons actually working, before you send out an update that supposedly is fixing this junk app?

Ruined by update. I used this app for 4 years and then I had to update it to open. The new version destroyed the layout that made it easy to track my shifts and days off.

Was great. The calendar part of the app stopped working for me and my partners. There's no easy "help" button on the app. The Who's on section is fine, but the personal calendar no longer works despite the update. Waiting for a fix!

Functional but limited. Was working. Now hanging with popup Do I Like Amion with Yes No answer disappearing and unclickable. Also, no way to text everyone who is in today from the APP. Desktop much more usable.

Why fix something that wasn’t broken. This app was great until it forced me to update. Now this is worse than ever. Please switch it back to the way it was. Why try to make it better when it was perfect all along.

Great App. It's great to have an accurate schedule when you are on the go! I've never had a problem with AMION.

Horrible new UI. New UI is very difficult to use. Schedules are out of order and app responsiveness is delayed. Unclear if this update was correctly beta tested prior to public release.

Update horrible. The new update is a huge step backwards. It keeps alerting after I acknowledge the text. It is impossible to navigate. It doesn’t even let you contact Amion. The screen disappears before you can type. Please fix it!

New update could not be worse. If I could give 0 stars I would. Imagine the lack of functionality of the amion website, now in a smaller, more confusing mobile version. Thanks for making residency schedules more difficult to interpret.

Great but..... I love being able to schedule my department with this. The problem is that the app doesn’t always reflect the changes I make on the desktop. I have to email Amion to get it corrected.

Search function crippled. The current version appears to have introduced a bug in the search function. Previously, one could search for text within a day's schedule. Now all that tapping the search icon does is activate the day-date bar on top of the screen

Do not update. The newest update is terrible. Missing formation. Really difficult to use and read.

Can’t even use on iPhone. I’ve downloaded, deleted and downloaded several times and it crashes immediately after tap it. Terrible.

New Layout Is Terrible. I’m deleting the app. They took an awesome app and turned it to rubbish. Previously, the app was organized and very user friendly. Now it’s just a confusing mess.

Bad update. Newest update doesn’t allow you to see your own individualized schedule unless you use the classic mode which is not as convenient. Please bring back the individualized schedule view.

I loved this app for schedule and paging BUT!!!. They just updated this app and it no longer time stamps text pages? This was one of the features I used to improve patient care. I will now have to find a different way for staff to page the provider

Incomplete. If I log on from internet to Amion I have full access but going through Doximity I lose certain viewing options. What’s the point of that?

So annoying. Looking at the website on my phone pushed me to this app, which I now have to log into 3-4 times before I can get to the on call schedule. It’s very annoying for trying to find who I need to contact on my patients.

Horrible upgrade. Can't dial out from app. Have to memorize number that I am paged too. So safe while driving!!! Cannot see the whole month on who is on call. Have to go day by day. Seriously thanks for the downgrade

This app is horrible. Please fix your new version and please go back to original version And fire the guy who suggested the update, this is horrible

Not text searchable. I’m still using the mobile browser because the mobile app is not text searchable. I am not going to scroll through a hundred peope to find the renal fellow when I can use ctrl-f in safari to find it in 5 seconds.

Please correct this. After the most recent update when you choose “who’s on” you cannot see which day you are looking at only the month and year are showing which makes it difficult if you want to slide through to the next few days.

Excellent, but one thing:. Please keep schedules from past months viewable for longer.

App does not refresh. Takes forever to refresh changes. Also, no manual way to force a refresh.

Refreshing. Compared to other apps I have used this is simple and effective. Not perfect, but pretty darn good.

Bad update. Apart from many other issues pointed out by others it is now not possible to copy and paste messages. In our group we forward messages to other colleagues frequently. And now you have it made so hard to do this. Please fix this!

Buggy. App is great when it works but is currently unusable for me. Every time I open the app I get a pop up “are you enjoying Amion?” that immediately goes away and I’m left with a blank screen. Please fix!

Forced ads. Amion is supposed to show you schedule. They force show you an ad when you open the app to see the schedule. This nonsense need to stop.
