Chicken is great, crappy quality control and service. If my kid wasn’t obsessed with the chicken tenders and I didn’t think the food was so good and fresh I would stop coming here all together. They never get my order right the first time the second time and it takes forever and I always get an attitude when I try to correct my order I can understand getting orders wrong but every single order I’ve ever gotten from there has been wrong in someway. That’s pretty awful quality control. I realize this isn’t McDonald’s so it takes a little longer but I have waited for 40 minutes for my food before and that’s not a sit down Olive Garden/outback/Karaba‘s type place so that’s pretty unreasonable. It’s even worse customService, quality, and time when you order on the app. And they definitely seem to give preference to the drive-through and the delivery drivers a lot more than the people standing right in front of them at their counter, which isn’t good either.

Lemonade. I visit this store a couple of times a week. I have gotten good food & good service. Better than the Zaxby’s in Griffin. But this evening I ordered a small lemonade because I have gotten it before. I didn’t taste it until half way home. It was the worst tasting lemonade that I have ever had. It was bitter & tasted like lemon juice & water but no sugar. I didn’t ask for a receipt so I can’t tell you more. I ordered my usual: Grilled Cob salad with an extra egg, 2 extra vinaigrette salad dressing, a plain grilled chicken salad & a small lemonade. I know you have had a hard time getting quality employees but the few that you hired are good. I’ve noticed delays because of shortage of employees. Consider this constructive criticism. I probably should have rated your store higher because the only problem with this evening order was the bad lemonade.

Not the best app.. Love Zaxby’s, but the app…not so much. My biggest complaint is it traps you at the end with your pick-up options. AFTER you’ve paid for the food it notifies you that you’re still required to wait in the tremendous drive-thru line to pick up your food(what’s the point of the app if you still need to go thru the drive-thru), or you can go inside to get your order(closed), unless you selected the “Curbside pick-up” option while ordering. I have yet to find the curbside option. Fortunately, my local Zaxby’s has been kind enough overlook the fact that it seemly doesn’t exist and bring the food out with a phone call. Even the staff can’t find the curbside option when asked! Is it there? Maybe. Is it easy to find? NO! I still have no idea how to order curbside should I visits a less accommodating Zaxby’s in the future. It’s almost a bait-and-switch mentality with this app.

Didn’t process order. Made account earlier this week. Used app to place an order for the very first time today, a pickup order. App threw an error when I went to place the order but credit card showed the charge pending. Arrived to find out order never went through, Staff were confused. Placing a pickup order on an app should streamline the process for both staff and customer, did the opposite. Now need to make sure I’m not being double charged as a result. This glitch isn’t the only issue. I don’t know why recent order history isnt accessible under account, I couldn’t even figure where to go to confirm if my order even was placed. Navigation lags constantly loading the images of food and UI navigation needs improvement. Use food apps all the time and this only outright negative experience I’ve had with one. Will not be using this app again. On-site staff were nice and understanding, issue is just with this app.

…rewards?. I downloaded the app while stuck in the drive through lane. I had enough time to download, register, place an order and wait past my pick up time while waiting. First, there are no rewards. All the signs said you get a free sandwich when you install the app. Not true. Second, I don’t underhand how restaurants can mess up online orders. Everything is written down, all they have to do is READ IT. I didn’t get the extra dressing I requested for my salad, I got the wrong cookies, they didn’t know I had ordered a drink (which worked out well for me because I lied and said I had ordered a large, so thanks for the free upgrade) and they neglected to give me silverware and napkins. I might use the app again. I think it saved me a few minutes of wait time. I look forward to eventually getting rewards.

Needs improvement. I got this app because in my area the dining room isn’t open and the drive through line is always so long I avoid going. But the app doesn’t offer you the items that are at the store for limited time like Asian zalads or fried pickles. The app also doesn’t offer you their full menu like boneless wings and things combo meals. I deleted the app after I realized this when I went to order which was whole reason why I got it. Now I very rarely go there because the lines are too long. If you want to serve your customers better either open the dining rooms for at least in person ordering we don’t have to dine in it can be grab and go or update your app to reflect items currently sold in your stores. The food is great it’s the lack of options that’s the problem.

Not Enough Info. When using the new app for the first time today, I was surprised at how relevant information was missing from the menu descriptions. For example, the Chicken Fingerz Platterz come in sizes Regular and Large; however, the app does not mention how many fingerz come in the different sizes (regular = 40; large = 60). We had to call the store to find out. The Regular is not a good deal because it’s cheaper to just order 2 sets of 20, unless the platter comes with something besides fingerz. But if it does, it is not mentioned. I also didn’t appreciate that I couldn’t use the coupon I received in the mail on the app. I’ll still get my $5 off by placing part of my order in person at the store, so would it really hurt them to let me have the convenience of placing my entire order online?

LevelUp should not suspend Zaxby’s accounts. I was supporting Zaxby’s but not anymore ever since LevelUp (the 3rd party company they use for their app) decided to suspend my account for their misunderstanding. I had been working on points for a while now which is actual money I spend for those points. They suspended my account for incorrect reasons without hearing me out nor reasoning with me before they closed my Zaxby’s LevelUp account. Therefore, LevelUp gave me a bad experience which leads me to no longer supporting/go to Zaxby’s. I will give my money to chick fil a where they won’t deactivate my account that I had point on/actively working towards points. FYI I have multiple siblings and we share one phone so you need to hear people out before you make assumptions regarding multiple accounts being logged in from the same device which isn’t a problem for any other fast food chain so I will just support those places who won’t delete my account over something so petty.

Works OK Most of the Time BUT. A major issue with the app is that it charges you DOUBLE what it should when you order a sandwich by itself. If you want to order a sandwich meal or anything else, it's fine. The fact that a bug like this has existed in the app for so long is unacceptable and I hope no one has been overcharged because they just wanted a sandwich and didn't notice that the price was too high. The app also tends to be laggy. You do get reward points for your orders, but you need a ton to get anything worthwhile. You also get coupons occasionally - one that consistently pops up so you pretty much always have it is a free funnel cake with $5 purchase. I do appreciate that you can order drinks with no ice through the app; too few restaurant apps do that.

Fix Your App Design. I live in a town with three zaxby’s locations. I use each of them from time to time. Now I have used plenty of fast food apps in my life. I’ll admit I have made the occasional mistake of ordering from the wrong restaurant location before in other apps too. I’m not perfect and things happen. Maybe once or twice in the time of using some of my more favorite restaurants. What I can’t explain is the number of times this has happened while using the zaxby’s app. Tonight it happened again. I swear it has happened despite my efforts to choose the correct restaurant location. You would think I’d be able to get it right after having it happen to me 5-6 times. The frequency of this problem is more than double the rate I’ve ever experienced with any other app. Fix it, please. I want to keep eating here, but this is beyond aggravating. Maybe make picking your pickup location more visible, require me to choose at the start of an order, or maybe a quick “are you sure this is the location you want” before hitting pay.

Bad Experience with this app, very buggy and confusing. Placed an order through the app because they had a BOGO offer and used a gift card. I like that I was able to upload the entire gift card to the app, but my digital receipt was very deceptive by combining both the BOGO offer and gift card usage into the same line and the payment options tab said my balance was $0.00 so I immediately thought that my gift card was drained instead of using the BOGO offer he cashier said that there was no way to refund or cancel the order for over charging me. Eventually I found my gift card balance in the rewards tab, but it caused quite the commotion and bad experience. Why can’t the store just handle the offer when I am here in person instead of telling me I needed to use the crappy app? Also, the app lacks a modern feel and has buggy and confusing navigation. Please pay for a better app, it will make the experience so much better. Model it after Uber Eats.

The “Newly Upgraded App” still needs help!. It’s just not super intuitive! The employees have very little knowledge of how the app works on their side of the counter! I get the same kind of response when trying to pay with my app and claim a reward- “I’m not quite sure how everything works we’re still trying to figure it out also”! I’ve been in several Zaxby’s since the upgraded app went live and it’s never a streamline process! And my biggest frustration is that I’ve loaded $ on my app and evidently the app isn’t set up to allow you to pay at the counter with the app! Or you can’t pay at the counter with the app and claim a reward? Or something? It’s frustrating because I know it can and should be an easier process! Using the Chick-fil-A app is an Extremely Fluid Process! In Person, Drive thru, Mobile Order, never a glitch or a “I’m not sure”! Using the McDonalds app is seamless! I’d like to support Zaxby’s but if they can’t make my customer experience at the very least smooth and hassle free I’ll go somewhere else! I don’t need my lunch to be complicated there’s enough of that elsewhere in life!

Employees were great food not so much. I would like to say that every employee I encountered was very polite and professional. I really appreciate that. It’s the food I have a problem with. It’s hit or miss with the chicken. Sometimes it’s cooked perfectly and others it was way overcooked. I would also get these tiny little pieces of chicken. At first I laughed until I realized it was actually considered one of the tenders. Sometimes it was two tiny pieces. Let’s talk about these fries. Probably the worst fries I’ve ever had. The first few times I had them they were so undercooked and some were raw in the middle. Today I asked them to cook them a little longer and they did. But I got my order and went straight home, 3 miles away, and the fries were so cold. Zero warmth. The only reason I have been eating there so much recently is I was very ill for a couple of months and my daughter sent me a gift card. I used it up today and unfortunately I won’t be back.

App Great still have to wait for Zalads. I don’t know if it’s just the store on Memorial Drive in Decatur Ga but I order, arrive 15 minutes later and still have to wait. Not sure if they don’t know how to process online orders or it a staffing issue. Previously I would go through drive through and they’d say pull over and I’d wait on average of 15 minutes. I like Zaxby’s, employees at this store are generally a notch above most fast foods joints, like the app, so my dissatisfaction is only with the wait time which is why I gave a 4 and not a 3 if you factor in that when ordering on an app your food should be there when you arrive 15 minutes later. Oh we added tater chips one time and they sat there getting cold while they were making the Zalad. Z wasn’t happy

Customer service. 10 pple working and waiting over 30 min in line then refuses to take my order because they close yet I was there before closing time. Grilled cheese too salty, take back doesn’t even fulfill order, doesn’t fix the order instead replaces with a cheese sandwich. Called manager twice with her excuses all teenagers and short staff. Everyone is short. I work in a healthcare facility and take care of patients and we’re short but with eight of us the work gets done. I ordered a platter of cookies 20 min before, I arrive no clue how many cookies is in a platter. The brochure was in front of them. Manager stays on iPad in foyer of restaurant. State I get 8 cookies for $28. I became furious. Only had 8 baked. I waited another 30 min for 28 more. Once again ordered another platter, this time I’m reporting higher up.

Why fix something not broken?. Horrible update! Couldn’t log in until I went to the website and had to change my password so my account could be updated. I got NO error message on the app. It just wouldn’t let me log in. Tried to order on the app. Finally went thru on the third try. Charged my card everything looked good. Went to store and they didn’t have the order! Pulled up my card to prove I ordered and found the charge reversed! They offered to take the order but it was the full on lunch rush and I wasn’t going to be that person to cut in front everyone when it wasn’t the store’s fault. I had to get back to work as I was out of time by then so ended up with a cup of soup for lunch! Very disappointing. Update-still horrible and don’t bother contacting Zaxbys if you have a problem. Got a canned statement saying sorry and working on this. Just gave up and deleted the app.

It’s actually pretty dope and more reliable than DoorDash for Delivery. Using the app to order delivery has been such a good experience. We used to DoorDash from Zaxby’s quite a bit.. (We have a big family, 5 kids between the ages of 10 to 1) DoorDash was always unreliable and even though we always tip above the suggested tip ($10+ on average), items were always missing, incorrect. So we decided to try directly from Zaxby’s. Let me tell you, I simply throw a respectful comment in there asking if they can verify sauces are correct, and so far it’s a 100% win rate. Food has been higher quality and arrives while it’s still hot! Not lukewarm. 10/10. We were probably satisfied with DoorDash 20-30% of the time, but now it’s 100%. Keep it up Zaxby’s. P.S. The free Sunday delivery is dope. Promotions always available.

I HATE ZAXBYS. zaxbys is one the most jobs to work at or even work for I had a interview with them today and when I went in for a interview the manager was so disrespectful and it disgusted me I have no problem with some men being gay but that manager had a complete attitude with me I brought my social security bc since I’m 16 I thought that would be the only thing they needed bc it didn’t say I needed a id that’s why I applied there in the first place but he kept asking these unnecessary questions other then talking about the interview he kept asking why my social security looked messed up why I don’t have a id why I’m 16 and other questions i found rude honestly it was the worse job I ever experienced and would never plan on going back I mean he even told me I can’t work there till I have a id when I work at any other job and juss needed my social for any other 16 year olds out there if you looking to work at a zaxbys in tucker or anywhere else i wouldn’t even suggest it these managers are so out of hand nowadays but y’all all stay safe out here

I never get any rewards and the app is horrible. I literally just spent 45 minutes trying to place an order through the “new app”. It was awful, when I logged in it said that I had a reward to use… FREE DELIVERY WITH AN ORDER OF $35 OR MORE. My order was $38 and some change. I selected my reward at checkout and it was kicked back. I had to start all over again. I have ordered on this app numerous times and this is actually the very first reward I have received… which is very odd, but I couldn’t use it. I don’t think I will ever order through this app again. It’s absolutely ridiculous how much you have to go through just to place an order. I could’ve gone to the drive through a long time ago, come home, eaten my food, AND taken a nap as long as it took. Unacceptable.

Great app, one gripe. So far the app is pretty easy to use and has had some nice offers (outside of just redeeming reward points). If you don’t actually order through the app, you can scan at the counter/drive thru window before paying for your order to get the reward points. You can also enter your receipt info afterwards if you forgot to scan. My one gripe…. I can’t remove a drink from a meal when ordering in the app. I usually get a meal but no drink and it takes a dollar off the meal price. I’ve been doing this forever at Zaxby’s and I can still do it in person, but there’s no option to do it with an app order. It’s not a huge deal but it makes me not want to order in the app as often since I can’t remove the drink. Ordering the items a la carte are more expensive than the meal price so that’s not an option either

App doesnt work. I love zaxbys, but I hate to say that the app cannot work. None of the receipts can be scanned as none of the zaxbys in my area have working wifi and are in areas with bad service. It logged me out and removed my saved password at random, and even when I changed my password the app locked me out entirely. I attempted using other accounts but kept getting the "too many attempts" message. I'm a firm believer not every restraunt needs an app, but this is insult to injury as my favorite restraunt has the worst app experience ever.

Needs a lot of work. Decided to give the app a try and it came with a free sandwich meal. The first thing that stood out when ordering was that the customization options are very limited. I could change the type of sauce on the sandwich, but nothing else. And even though I remived the mayo, my sandwich still came with it. Not sure if that is an app problem or a store problem. Then when I went to check out, no balance was due because it was a free meal. I still had to choose a payment method. Fine, I just chose Apple Pay. Then when I submitted, it gave me an error and said that I have to enter a credit card. What the hell? The point of using Apple Pay is so I don’t have to give you my credit card info. AND there was no payment due anyway. So stupid.

My Order on June 3, 2022. At 9:43 PM, I placed an order as I was on my way to Zaxby’s. I realized the confirmed order stated it would be ready TOMORROW morning at 10:45 AM. I have no interest in eating from Zaxby’s in the morning since I placed my order for THIS EVENING. I attempted many times to call the restaurant but it went straight to a “mailbox that was full.” I arrived at Zaxby’s hoping to deny my mobile order confirmed for in the morning. The dining room was closed but signs stated they stop taking orders at 10:00 pm. Since I was in the line 10 minutes til 10:00, I anticipated ordering my meal for tonight and and rejecting the mobile order for tomorrow. At 10:00 pm, I was 3 cars from the speaker and no one ever took another order. Very unprofessional, to say the least, that they didn’t honor those cars in line before 10:00. I was vacationing here in Myrtle Beach this week and will be leaving for my home early in the am and have NO desire to eat chicken at 10:45 in the morning in Myrtle Beach. I expect There will be no charges to me for this order and if I am, it will be disputed for Zaxby’s having the audacity to postpone it until the next day. Karen Brown Highly unsatisfied customer

New Rewards Same App. The old app was perfectly fine. The new one adds a lot more options that may benefit the franchise but frustrate regular customers who have to learn a whole new app. Their faves are gone and that’s a big drawback for a lot of people. BUT!!! I got a free Big Zax Snack that I was able to just add to my order. This way there is no need to do the surveys and have the signs for the deals. The deals will all be on the app and that’s great for everyone. Also there is an in store pickup that’s really useful for those who don’t want to wait in line but still plan to eat inside. It’s new. People won’t like it but it’s still a good app.

Nothing is working. *update to below: I went out to pick up food at another restaurant since I couldn’t check out on this app. I was checking my emails on my phone and there was an order confirmation from Zaxbys!! So I went back to the app and it still showed no order history AND the meal I was trying to order previously was still in the check-out bag. So i went to the store and there sit my order! So now I have 2 meals from 2 different places for tonight. Tried to use the new app today (2 times actually). Went to the restaurant this afternoon for a drink, had them scan my rewards barcode and it wouldn’t work. They tried several times to scan it, but it did nothing. Then tried to redeem my reward tonight for dinner by ordering on the app, and when I went to check out, it just kept saying “submitting order” continually after I had pushed checked out. I closed it out several times and tried to re-order, but it kept doing the same thing. So needless to say I’m not getting zaxbys for dinner. Please fix

Not your best day.. Placed online order. Went to wait at curb side and arrived per the time stated on web site. Once arrived there was no designated parking places. Parked at other location and went inside to a mad house. Couldn’t get near anyone to ask for my order. Went back outside and got lucky as someone was moving so I got the spot marked number 3. Called and gave them my spot information. After about 15 min. I called back and asked about my order. The girl hung up on me. I called back and another lady answered and told me she would get my order out but that she was short handed . I asked could I come get it. So I went in and got my order. There was a mixup on the dressing so I had to go back in and exchange the dressing. When I got home I had gotten the wrong salad and the new sweet bun I got was under cooked. It took over 30 mim to get my curb side order. You can do better service than this.

Nothing but problems!. This is the worst food app I’ve ever seen! I’ve had nothing but problems with it every time I have used it. Yesterday I placed a online order and when trying to pay it said to try again something went wrong and nothing was wrong the first time but it charged my card twice!! Then when I get to my Zaxbys location and tell them I’m here to pick up my order for Jamie they claim they can’t find a order for that name. So had to pull up and show the manager where it said it was placed and where it took my money twice. She comes bringing this printed out paper of what I ordered and said they canceled the order didn’t say why and that my funds would be put back on my card. I still wanted the food considering I payed for it twice. So she offered to put it back on her system but I’d have to wait in that long line and pay for it again..Of course they once again gave me problems when I returned but I finally got my food and I am planning on telling the GM of this location this horrible experience! I do want my money put back on my card that it took twice since this app for some reason decided to cancel my order!! I use to work for Zaxbys and tbh their online ordering was a joke and never failed to give customers and the workers problems. I am never using this app again!

App needs work, and so does the execution of ordering and picking up from the restaurant. Customizations of salads needs work. I like to order a fried Cobb salad with no tomatoes, extra cucumbers, and I like the chicken to be put on the side in a separate container because it is put on the salad hot and steams the salads cold ingredients. Your app doesn’t allow for this type of customization so if I want that salad I have to order it at the restaurant. Furthermore, I get punished by the restaurant anytime I app order. I will sit in a parking space at the restaurant for no less than 20 minutes waiting for the food. They tried to pull me out of the drivethru line today for a sandwich, fries, and drink and I refused. It’s amazing how the food was presented to me in less than five minutes from my checkin with the order taker. Had I parked I would have waited forever. Stop punishing people for using app ordering or TURN IT OFF!!! Apps are supposed to make things faster!

Horrible app experience. So in the past I ordered from the app and when I got to the restaurant (Pinellas Park FL) was told I MUST come inside to pick it up — during the pandemic. So I started ordering at the drive through window instead. Today I tried again to order through the app and couldn’t find a way to make it say pick up at the drive through. So I asked the man on the speaker and he said yes, submit it and you can get it in the drive through. So I did. It’s raining outside. I get to the window and he tells me I can’t just submit it and pick it up that I have to drive around and wait for a while. When I asked him why he told me to go ahead and submit the order instead of just telling him the order, he said it was okay to submit the order but it “wouldn’t be ready just like that.” I said oh well I guess you didn’t understand what I was asking (nicely) and he said oh yes I understood what you were asking, sir. So, well, that’s why I go to chick-fil-A and McDonald’s all the time even though i consider Zaxby’s good to be a bit better.

Blank stares from employees with mobile order. I guess I’m an eternal optimist, but I thought “oh well, just because all these other people had issues with mobile orders on the app doesn’t mean I will.” I was sadly mistaken. I placed an order via the app, arrived at the restaurant, came inside and sat down. I watched as a couple walked in, placed their order with the cashier, and then received their food before my order was called. Annoyed, I walked up to the counter and asked the status of my mobile order. The cashier had no idea Zaxby’s even had an app, let alone if an order was pending. She turned and asked the kitchen manager(?). The manager kept asking if I had a “confirmation number”, which is not displayed on the app screen. Then another member of the kitchen staff walked around to the other side of the kitchen and found that my order had been displayed on a different kitchen screen for 11 minutes, unnoticed. I finally got my food made after all this. Terrible experience. I likely will not use the app again for a long time, if ever.

Store isn’t equipped for it. I placed a mobile order. Estimated time when it would be ready: 10 minutes (per the app & the email confirmation). Actual time when it was ready: 34 minutes. No apology for the delay, just multiple store employees frustrated with me because the order confirmation doesn’t show my name, as if I have any control over it! There was another woman waiting equally long for her mobile order, and only one other customer ordering inside. Clearly they prioritize the drive thru above all else and didn’t even bother to look at what mobile orders had come in. There’s a reason why I always choose Chickfila, and it’s not necessarily based on the food, because I do like Zaxby’s. But customer service matters and this was not the first time either.

The new update is eh-. I like the look and feel of the app. However, it is super buggy as of now. I ordered at the same time as my friend, the exact same order but his reward did not go through. We had the exact same reward (Big Zax Snack when you update your password), but his wasn’t applying or working at all. I noticed that while I was ordering, the clicks were slow. Also, when choosing to pick up your order at a different time, I think that interface should be changed. Right now, it’s set up as two dials basically, one for the hour and one for the minutes. It would be so much easier to just have a list of available times. Overall, the new app has potential, it just needs bug fixes

Problems migrating and clunky CX. I previously had the app, and was not able to migrate to the new app with my detail intact because while they had my email address, they did not have a phone number. I had to create a new account using a new email address and completely lost all my order history. Also, the new design makes it take longer to select and customize my order details. Finally, if I go to the rewards tab and see I have a reward and choose ‘Select’, you should launch the specific area within the menu for that item to make it easier to take advantage of any rewards. It seems counterintuitive to have to apply the reward at checkout. If I clicked it from Rewards tab throw up a validation check to confirm I want to use it and then guide me to meet reward requirements (e.g. item 1 and item 2 for BOGO, added side for free shareable, etc).

Smart hut terrible execution. Let me start off my saying that I love being able to order food ahead of time and it be ready by the time that I arrive. From a customer standpoint, this app could have been a God-sent! However, the execution of the app is poor. Being able to order ahead of time is fabulous. Although, stores do not have an easily accessible way to get your pre-ordered food. There is no specified “app” parking spots or call in numbers. You have to wait in the drive through in order to pick up your food. Let me just say, if I wanted to wait in the drive though....i would order....in the drive through. I hate ordering food 20 minutes ahead of time just to find out i have to wait in a 20-30 minute line and receive cold food. Just doesn’t make sense and isn’t practical for the consumer.

A warning to Zaxby’s and Zaxby’s app users. This comment is not meant to criticize Zaxby because the app is good, and what I’m about to say is sort of my fault. But if you have saved your payment information on this app, please consider removing it. I just looked into my finances after getting off of work, and noticed that there were two unauthorized purchases to a Zaxby’s in Virginia. The person who used my card was able to use it because I saved my info on the app for future use if I ever wanted to buy something at a Zaxby’s near me and I hope whoever does updates for this looks strongly into the security settings so no one else has to go through this. Be very mindful of your information, and do not leave it open for any one to access it like I did. This has taught me that nothing is ever really private.

Not sure why they offer an APP.... I downloaded the App last fall when Zaxby’s places the little signs by the register that says “download the app & get rewarded”. I love most of my other reward apps & use them often. So I was excited to try this one. I have been SO disappointed: it’s basically useless. In a 3 month timeframe I made multiple purchases (I even used the scan & pay option) - and I received ZERO rewards! Nothing. I asked multiple employees if the App was working yet or if they could help me figure out there were never any rewards. The employees have no clue. They indicated that it works for others... ok. I have emailed customer service (they indicated that no rewards are being offered - which sounds kind of odd, but it does equate to the rewards that I’ve received). Today I received a text asking me to “ Zaxby's: Find out about rewards and special offers in the Zaxby's app. Download yours today.” & an email advertising “the App Fans Appreciate!/Get Rewards & Special Offers”... I downloaded the App that I previously deleted... & of course, it shows no rewards. Good grief - I should have known better!!!

New App A++. I’ve used the old app for about a year, I have a zaxby location very close to my office. Always easy to order a salad ahead of time and pick up for lunch. As much money as I’ve spent, I always wished a rewards program was offered. This new app now keeping up with your purchase history and offering benefits like all the other fast food joints is awesome. My family and I love Zaxby’s and a free side or lunch is always nice with all this inflation in our country. The App is a lot easier to use, a MAJOR change and upgrade from what I’ve been used to. Just placed my first order on the new app and worked so much smoother and faster. Took y’all long enough lol I’m impressed with this upgrade.

Problematic. I literally can’t even make an account?? For some reason every time I try to make an account or even log in to the ones I supposedly made using the forgot password it would just say they are having trouble finding the info and then I can’t even press the log in/sign up option anymore. I really don’t want to place an order without an account cause I feel like it would be more problematic. I have 3 emails and when I use the forgot password option apparently my 3 emails have accounts even tho i was never able to even finish the sign up process and they are all marked with different numbers that never belonged to me. I just wanted to make an account. I haven’t even placed my order yet and now I feel like I should just give up cause of how much of a struggle I had to go through

Useless App. I’ve had this app for a couple of years. If first it was really good and convenient for ordering, especially during the aftermath of Covid before the inside was back open. For the last few months the app has been terrible. On 2 separate occasions we have used the app to scan & pay. On each of these occasions employees said it did not go through even though we got a confirmation email and the Levelup charge was immediately showing in our banking app. Both times we wound up having to pay at the restaurant in order to get our food with a different card. Each time we have contacted the app support we were told to go back to the store and ask for a refund from the card purchase. We have had our bank contest the purchase and we will NOT be using this app again. We were told by Zaxby staff that several other people have had the same issues with this app so consider yourself warned.

Useful and easy to navigate. As a longtime fan of eating at Zaxby’s, I thought it would be good to try out the app since I eat there relatively often. The app itself has a pleasant and easy to navigate layout. It’s easy to check nutritional information and prices at a specific location. Rewards are processed very quickly in the app after a receipt is scanned and I felt that the points required for certain meals were adequate and built up pretty quickly. So far, I have never had any errors with the app glitching or closing unexpectedly. Will continue to use!

Many bugs. The apps has a few inconsistencies to where I will try to use a reward then it will never actually apply then if I go back then try to reapply it the totals do not add up and it will charge me more than the total should be. Along with that I typically order wing at Zaxbeys and it is wild in my opinion to charge an extra amount to have the tossed in some sauces but I can have a sauce on the side for no extra charge but if I saved the hassle and went to the store I don’t get charged for tossing my wing I get charged for having an sauce on the side make it make since. I understand why you charge extra for sauces and I’m not saying that’s the problem I’m saying whoever built the app needs to make it consistent to when you go to the store.

App works fine, but restaurants need to do better.. 1 out of 3 or 4 times in can expect the store to take all year and make me question why I bother ordering ahead on the app. Of course the exclusive saving offers would be the answer to that… come in after I do and STILL get their food first! I often even have to mention I’m waiting for my order more than once. The final straw was the last time! Ordered at 502pm. Went to pick it up at 513pm, didn’t get my order until 531pm.... at least 5 other people came in after me an all got their food before me. Even another online order... screw this app! I don’t need this type of negativity in my life!

Options have been removed! Was 5 Star. To the Developer: This app hasn’t been updated in 3 months, so this is probably really more a complaint about the back end of the app that supplies all of your options. Just last week you could specify what sauces you want. Today, I was ordering and noticed that all of my previous order history had been wiped out and I couldn’t specify sauces or dressing or kids drink options liked chocolate milk anymore. It just lets you order the items and then you have to waste time explaining everything about what options you want when you pick up al at the drive thru. It’s almost as bad as if you had to just order your whole meal that way. This was a 5 star app, and by removing all the options and clearing the history, you’ve succeeded in removing almost all values in this really great app. Come on! Give us the options back!

Pitiful. Placed my order online through the app at 5:35 pm Sept 2. I had errands to run first. I arrived at Zaxby’s at 6:25. The dining room was closed so I had to wait in the drive thru line. I made my way to the speaker at 6:47. I gave my name and was told to drive to the front parking lot and my order would be brought out to me WHEN IT WAS READY!!! My order was 2 Zax Snacks with fries, drinks, and zax sauce. This was for 2 people. The order arrived at my vehicle at 6:54. I arrived home at 7:02. No Zax sauce, but 4 straws, 5 forks, and 8 napkins. This is my second online order at this store. Pitiful. No advantage to online ordering. Food was good.

Sylva, NC store. Went to the drive thru and waited approx 7 min, finally a girl came over the speaker and we ordered 3 platters one with onion rings instead of fries. She told us they don’t have onion rings and don’t have coleslaw. So I said just give me one of the platters with just chicken, she said I could only get 5 piece or a couple other size’s with more. I said to just give me 4 pc of chicken and she put a guy on that said it has to be 5, so I said just give me 5 then! He asked if we wanted anything else and I said apparently you don’t have anything else. They should comp people for the things they don’t have! We traveled here from Illinois and this USED to always be our first stop, until today! Hope it improves or you won’t be getting any of our family’s business again!

App doesn’t work well. App is strange the way it handles credit card info; you have to remove one to add another... strange you can’t just store and select. Also, the app takes a terribly long time to update with every action you make. There is also not a good way to customize special order items. Makes me less likely to use Zaxby’s. I do like using apps to order food, that way my order is actually taken correctly. I find at the counter often times people don’t listen well and I end up getting something other than what I ordered.... I suppose that’s a review for a different place. 🙂

App is buggy. The old version of the app seem to work fine for me. For some reason, the new version that debuted several months ago, does not have as many features. I loaded a gift card on the app, but it would not allow me to use the gift card unless I order ahead. My Zaxby’s will not allow me to pick up orders through the drive-through that I have ordered ahead. I have to go inside. The problem with that is leaving animals or kids in the car. I really wish I had not loaded that gift card onto the app! Today, I tried to go order ahead and pick up something, but the app would not open. I was in the parking lot of my Zaxby’s, so it was not a distance issue, it just continue to spin. I closed and reopened several times, no change. When I got home, I tried to open the app again to add the points from my purchase and it is still doing the exact same thing. Spinning never opening. I don’t know why they felt the need to change the app. I’m not really impressed!

Error validating basket. Error validating basket.. This app has been working pretty well for me to make an order for delivery until the very last step. For some reason, there continues to be an “error validating basket” every time I try to send an order to the restaurant. (The order consists of the free Big Zax Snak meal reward upon signing up, in addition to one other item. Delivery, namely contactless, is selected.) I don’t understand how to fix this issue. I have the latest version so I can’t update the app and see if that fixes the issue, and there is nothing specific about the error message or hints or instructions as to how I can fix it, yet I’ve tried at least a dozen times and keep getting the same error message. I only have a couple of days left to use this reward but it just won’t let me use it.

Kids will play…too bad they were the employees. Just left zaxby in Mt. Juliet. Spent a little over 28$ for two adults and a preteen. Our initial cashier was great. Said if we needed anything else just let him know. As we were leaving we all wanted tea refills. We stood at the counter waiting for one of the 7 or 8 kids in the back who were laughing, pushing on each other and throwing something back and forth to look at us or acknowledge we were there. The cashier who had been so kind was cutting something up.(Working) The others just ignored us. Finally a young woman came from a different area where everyone was playing and got us our refills. I don’t think I will ever go there again, to the Mt. Juliet store anyway. Third time this particular week we ate there. We have a nephew over who wanted lunch from there. They could mess around and lose good customers if they keep that up.

Updated**** Needs to work out a few kinks. This app is pretty slow. I love being able to order my food ahead of time, but the app is a pain when trying to edit or remove an item. It’s almost like it gets overwhelmed and wants to shut down. I try to ensure I know exactly what I want when I add an item to the cart. If not, it’s much faster and easier to cancel the order and start from scratch. Update: This app has enhanced dramatically since I wrote my initial review. My only complaint this time is that I can’t, AT ALL find the “Curbside pickup” option where I park and the Zaxby’s team members bring it to my car. Each time I have to place the order and then call them to let them know that I ‘forgot’ to select the curbside pickup option when in actuality I’m unable to find it in the app. I’d love if someone could walk me through it lol. I usually don’t have problems finding additions like this, but for the life of me I can’t locate it anywhere! Outside of that, I’m thrilled that Zaxby’s app development team fixed the glitches that caused the app to run painfully slow. Keep up the great work!

This App is Junk. About a month ago, this app basically stopped working. You can go through the menu, get your order all ready to go, but when you get to where you can check out… uh-oh! You can’t! It won’t let you. It says something stupid about the store you’re ordering from is closed or the time you selected is wrong. (Neither of those assumptions are correct. I selected “ASAP” as the time, and the store is open.) Since you can’t use the app, then you can’t use your rewards or get more reward points. So yeah, it’s essentially useless. How about fixing this? There was an update 5 days ago and it still doesn’t work.

App and Online Ordering is TRASH. I’ve spend the last 30 minutes of my life trying to log in to my Zaxby’s account because EVERY password combination is “forbidden” when trying to create a new one. When trying to make a new account with a different email, I get redirected to the home screen because “there was an error”. I’ve deleted and downloaded the app SEVERAL times and tried to order online but to no avail. This is VERY crappy. No, it isn’t an isolated event. It’s been doing this since before I can remember. Please fix your stuff! As much as the food costs, you’d think the apps would be in pristine working condition.

This app makes me physically sick sometimes. Look, compared to most, the app is pretty ok. It doesn’t bug out as much as other apps do (Wendy’s) but when it does it’s such a nuisance. From logging me out at random to refusing to log me back in, it really makes it hard to even order food in the app in the first place. It hits even harder when the deals you can get in the app are pretty good, but because the app is deciding that today is not the day where I will get Zaxby’s, and I can’t get the deal I want bc it is on the app, I’ve stopped using the app entirely 😬

I don’t recommend.,. The zaxby’s app is very convenient don’t get me wrong. But half of the time the app does not work. It takes forever to load and when you try to check out it doesn’t go through. Sometimes they also have things listed on the app that they don’t have in the store. When logging in it prompts you to change your password and then tells you you have to wait to change your password when you try to change it. Very hard to work with when your in a rush.

New app looks good but still needs work!. While the new app looks better visually, it still needs some work! It’s not as easy to navigate and use. For example… to add extra dressing packets I had to “select and add” the dressing multiple times since I wanted several extra packets. I couldn’t select the one I wanted and then set the quantity. Only to find out that you can change the quantity on the checkout page. So I ended up deleting several of the “extras” and then setting the quantity for just one. Lots of extra steps for something that should be a lot easier.

Update Fail. I was using this app every time I we ate Zaxby’s. Even before the update, you couldn’t select certain drinks with your order, but at least you could select “decide at the store” and just fill it yourself when you pick your food up. Since this new update though, you have to choose a drink you don’t want and dump it out at the store and refill it with what you actually wanted. They insist on using Apple Pay now. I tried to use my debit card like before the update and it just keeps saying that they can’t accept my card. We love Zaxby’s, so we just went back to using the drive through. I hope they work these bugs out.

Good as a glorified digital menu. Nothing else. Don’t waste your time ordering “ahead” with this app during the COVID scamdemic. The company policy is to not allow anyone in the dining room during the pandemic. If you order ahead then you still have to wait in the drive thru to pick up your order. If you’re going to have a policy that contradicts the value of your app then show some respect for your customers to advise them that dining room access is restricted and that they will need to still wait in line to pick up their order that was prepared in advance and is now cold because it’s been waiting. Oh yeah!! As a slap in the face I just pulled up to pick up my order and I saw a sticker I the window that reads, “Skip the wait. Order ahead.”

Don’t have an app if it’s not gonna work. I have a large family and prefer to order ahead whenever I can. I’ve had issues ordering through this app on multiple occasions… that is if it goes through. I constantly get a pop up saying they can’t confirm my address yet everything is typed correctly. If I’m really craving I’ll go to the restaurant but a lot of times it just pushes me to go somewhere else. Especially after Covid you would think this system would be in place and flawless. I’ve had this issue for a year. Probably just gonna delete the app to save space on my phone since it’s basically only a decoration.

Works alright, some bugs. Just placed my first delivery order. I like that there are lots of details like estimated delivery time and a place to write a note for the driver. The app also is easy to use with a box to check for contactless delivery and different suggested tip amounts. My only issue at the moment is that whenever you chose an option that triggers a pop up or changes the page, there seems to be a delay that makes it look like the app is frozen. Overall this app was well put together.

TERRIBLE new app!. PROS Three chicken tenders for downloading the new app. CONS: 1) The OLD app was much easier for my purposes. 2) Using the app to claim the reward was confusing and circuitous. 3) When I completed my order, the app told me that it would be inside the pickup area in 11 minutes. The app didn’t care that I wasn’t anywhere near the restaurant, or that I was ordering for a later pickup. It just assumed I was on my way and less than 11 minutes away! No choices! 4) The app offered 3 buttons to select either pickup parking, drive-through, or inside the restaurant. Only the “Inside Restaurant” button would work. 5) The app rewarded me 0 points for my purchase of a salad. 6) I recommend using the Chick-Fil-A app instead. They understand a good customer experience.

Faster to make your own zalad. I thought the purpose of an online order was to not have to wait to pick it up or have to wait in a line. Each and every time I have used the app I have waited at the designated area only to be overlooked or thought to be just waiting for an inside order. Then when I finally ask about it they go to the computer to find it and then holler out to the kitchen that “your online is here” I asked the girl at the counter and she said that they skip over the online orders and fix inside orders first. Complete waste of time and effort to order online when you have to wait longer than just walking in and ordering. Until they figure out how to use this app like all the other fast food restaurants I will bypass it and just order inside!

App works much better. I had given up on the app because it was always glitchy, I had to sign in every time I opened it even in the same day/hour trying to make an order. Today I opened the app on a whim, it had me signed in already, automatically ordered at the Zaxby’s I was closest to, and now has the option to save payment info. Very pleased with the app updates!

App works great but.... The app is easy to use but when finalizing payment and order it is a little glitchy. I chose the “ASAP” option and I received a message that the order failed. Tried again and it said choose another time as it could not be ready that quick. So then I chose the next option which was 1:00pm. Said it could not be ready that quick. (It was only 12:50). So then I chose the next option if 1:15 and it went through. So now I wait. Why would the ASAP option not work? Why have options that are not workable?

Fire everyone involved w/ the dev of this app. It took 20min just to log into my account: 1) With the app update it forced me to change my password. Doesn’t read from keychain and pass update is unnecessary anyway, but the fact that there are password requirement is absurd. This is an app to order food, not my bank account. The pass I tried to use is even valid on other sites. (Yes I used a generic junk pass bc it doesn’t matter for an app used to order food). 2) After updating my password (which doesn’t get saved to keychain) it didn’t even log me in. It kicked me to the Home Screen so I had the pleasure of typing everything in again. 3) Once I’m finally in, location check fails twice with improper error handling. 4) Once I found the location, I tried to order for pickup. In order to process the order, a delivery address was REQUIRED. Zaxby’s…you will never need my address. While the design is an improvement ascetically and I no longer have to add “drive thru” to my order, the implementation of this update is one of the worst I’ve seen

Wow. Just, wow.. First off, I would just like to say that I am SO impressed. Zaxby’s, you always seem to satisfy me, but with this new app you have really outdone yourselves. Every time I click the app icon I am transported into a magical world of delicious chicken fingers, a sleek and easy-to-use interface, and great options for receiving my food. I am so glad Zaxby’s made this app, as all other food delivery apps pale in comparison. The official Zaxby’s app is the ONLY one that offers all of the delectable sauce options. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

App is pretty good. I used the app for the first time this evening and I ordered ahead . Now I will say when I was ordering ahead I tried to do pickup for a later time and it never would save , but I was headed there anyway so it wasn’t too much of a big deal . I can see how if you were wanting to plan it ahead for the next day how that could become a problem. Overall , when I told the staff I had a pickup order they were very nice and even said they were making my food fresh. I didn’t even wait 5 minutes and I was walking out the door with everything .

Sauce options in this app. I’ve sent this suggestion several times before but still no update to the app. It would be great to have the option to NOT have to select a sauce when ordering sandwiches. I’m sure that I’m not the only person that prefer to enjoy the sandwiches plain and simply enjoy the chicken sandwich without being “required” to select a sauce. I honestly don’t and won’t use the mobile app for that reason alone! Please add a PLAIN or NO SAUCE option to the list of sauces options when ordering sandwiches. Even adding a section for Special Instructions would also work. PLEASE do something about this soon! I’ve sent this suggestion far too many times to not receive a response nor see a change!

Did not register my account properly. It has been over a year since I had tried to register my zaxby's account, however my account was made improperly where I cannot use the app as my account alway’s comes out as invalid. Wether it was while I was making my password (which apple made me a recommended password) or when I had to do a confirmation on my account, It messed up the account that I was trying to make. I know it exists as I cannot make another account with the same email that I used. However when I put in my email, It never sends me a message for resetting my password. Please fix your app

Rewards System?. I’m a huge fan. The grilled chicken sandwiches are amazing and honestly even bigger and better than Chick-Fil-A’s. I’ve cut back eating at CFA in favor of Zaxby’s for that reason. The mobile ordering is also top-notch because our location is ALWAYS busy and it keeps me from standing in line. That being said, it would be nice if you guys would consider implementing a rewards system. My coworker and I have spent a lot of money in Zaxby’s over the last several months. We eat there maybe twice a week or so. I feel by now I should’ve earned something for free.

Terrible. I have used this out three times now and every time it takes me 10 minutes or so to actually get it to work so that I can order my food. it looks me through the login screen two or three times then asked me to change my password a couple of times and then when I finally get to ordering my food I can’t find the order button or the submit button or the checkout button until I go through about four other screens and stuff I don’t want. someone really needs to go through this out and tested to see what I’m talking about and fix it I order food through the Zaxby’s app all the time and never had a problem with the old app why not just bring the old one back.

Horrible experience.. Ordered and paid on the app. Got confirmation that order was processed. Showed up at store to pick up order. I was told no online order existed despite me having confirmation number. Told there nothing could be done. I showed the young lady at the window my order confirmation. Still nothing could be done. Absolutely zero customer service on the store end. I’m not a ‘customer is always right’ person but if I show you the order confirmation and it’s for the correct store, date, and time and it shows I paid, It should be honored. Instead I am made to feel as if I’m some sort of tech simpleton or worse a freeloader trying to score a free sandwich.

NO communication with stores- money will be stolen. don’t order zaxby’s. I ordered through the app last night around 6:30, it took my money, the store was closed, the manager called me THE NEXT DAY saying I could come get my food and “wouldn’t even have to pay for it” (even though I ALREADY DID), and when I called back when I got home from work around 6:15 pm they could not issue me a refund because the computers were already shut off. Literally the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever heard. Oh and the best part, I ordered Zaxby’s because it was my dad’s favorite food and yesterday was the anniversary of his death. Salt in the actual wound. To think I used to LOVE Zaxby’s.

Loyalty. That word doesn’t mean much here! Huge fan of the food, however, I don’t think they understand the rewards concept, but they advertise because every other fast food company that offers a mobile app has noticeably more rewards and offers than this one. You would think after several trips, you would have some points or something, but that’s just not the case. It’s basically good to order your food ahead of time before you get to the restaurant. Fortunately, I do love their food.

Overall good. Overall this app is good, but it was annoying to have to change my password when they updated the app. Please bring back the “decide at store” option for your drink. I really don’t like my drink already made with the ice melting in it before I get there. Plus, most stores have the freestyle machine and you have very limited drink options in the app. I also wish you could choose to not have a drink in your meal if you don’t want one.

Terrible App. Not once, not twice, three times this app has prevented me from getting food from Zaxby’s. Constant updates and UI changes mean that nothing is familiar, and the quality of those changes means that nothing is easy to relearn. The third time was the final straw. I had forgotten my wallet, and was going to just order with my phone on the app. Trusting that it had saved my payment information. But it seems in an updated again and left my info behind. And so I was unable to order, again. I don’t intend to ever eat at any Zaxby’s ever again because this app provided a horrible customer experience. Dear Zaxby’s, your food is good, your app is terrible.

New app. Have been waiting for this for a while now have always used the old app and never got any rewards. I frequent Zaxby’s and was interested in the rewards side of the app as I’m getting rewards at other restaurants I patron. Well they finally came out with the new app and while it’s updated and fresh the rewards will have to be seen in the future. I do appreciate that they did give me a big Zac snack for the merging from the old one to this one. I guess time will tell.

Love Zaxby’s. I love Zaxby’s and the app is good but a little unorganized. It can be difficult to follow at times but nonetheless, it is better than the majority. The biggest issue is in the details. Should you fill in the additional information section, forget it, it’s 95% guaranteed not going to happen. And forget calling after the fact. First world problems for sure but the app asked for a review. Take it or leave it. I will still use it in the future, I just know what to expect.

Hackers. The app itself was great as far as concept, ease, and the rewards program. But did not like the fact that it was so easy for the app to get hacked. Just spent about 2 hours of my time between calling the store in Memphis, TN (when I live in GA) to notify them that was not me placing those orders. Then calling the app assistance line to again let them know it was not me. Then calling to cancel my card with my bank and then will ALSO need to fill out a fraud form tomorrow for the multiple charges that the hacker was attempting to do. Please get a better system to prevent this from happening for future but for now I would warn everyone from putting any type of payment information on this app since it could get compromised.

Logged in but no rewards. Went to place an order and my rewards coupons and points were all gone. I logged out and back in, then gave up hope. Drove near the building and it went back to normal with my points and deals. Glad it worked in time, but almost messed my plans of going somewhere else. Also had to wait the 12 minutes it took had this worked the first time. My only other gripe is the marinara sauce being gone for the cheese curds. All in all, the rewards are great.

Please fix the issues with this app. This app is a great idea with everything going on currently, but there are issues with it. Often when the order is processing, I receive an error message that there is some sort of issue. Once I received a message that the order did not go through and was sent back to place it again. I ended up being double charged. (The local Zaxby’s refunded me.) Another time I was charged on my card but the confirmation page showed up blank and the store had no record of my order. PLEASE fix the bugs with this app, particularly when a placed order and payment are processing. Thank you.

Lazy rude workers.. Set an online order and drove 20 minutes out to get it that’s the closest location and I walk in, not on the pick up shelf. So I stand in line patiently and this kid waits until IM UP and decides to do her post lunch rush duties while I’m sitting here and a long line is building up. I get frustrated and overwhelmed with anxiety and decide to go through drive-thru to get it, a problem I never had with picking up orders before online at, and tell me to come inside. I tell the drive thru I’m not doing that I just want my order or a refund and tell me to pull up and rudely waits for me to drive off. Took my money and didn’t give me my food. Screw you lazy crooks. This is the wildwood Florida location

First experience and last experience.. I downloaded the app to order ahead, placed the order, clicked on “get directions,” and ended up at a store that was totally different than the one I placed my order for. And when I went in to the help section to tell Zaxby’s about the problem, there either isn’t a way to contact them or it is so expertly hidden that it would take a magician, a PhD, and a Seal Team to find it. So I went from frustrated and annoyed to outright angry. So I’m going to dispute the charge for my order (since “let us help” means “let us watch you accomplish nothing”) and just deleted the app. Never again. And it’ll be a while before I go back to a Zaxby’s at all after this.

Could be better INMO. Credit card info could be robust. My wife created our account and had put her name in the account info section. I can’t load the app with my CC/debit info. I don’t know what hers card info is, so I had to use ApplePay. When I get home I can load her info, but when we get new cards every one of them seems to need changed within a couple of months. Additionally, the app some how grabs a location that is no where close to my current location. It’s attempting to tell me I’m 2.3 miles away. I sitting in front of the restaurant currently.

Scam!. I got the app and finally was able to get the promised reward after waiting hours. Then I place my order paid for the delivery and it said my order was being sent from the freaking ocean!!! By AFRICA! i tried resetting the app bc I though it was just me. Now the order isn’t even showing where it is in the delivery process and it’s showing the order as a previous order. I have no way to open the order I just freaking paid for. I tried pressing contact for help and guess what? It sends me to a open freaking email with no email to send to. This is a scam! I want my freaking money back NOW! I’m suing and I’m not playing. I will sue!

Love the new App; but make one change on the Fries. The new app is great. But I see where you could make one improvement. I ordered a Big Zax Snack tonight and was given the option of choosing Extra Seasoning or Seasoning on the side. I would like to see that option everywhere in the app— like when I just order a side of fries, or when I order a Family meal. Because I LOVED the Extra Seasoning on the fries tonight! Keep making yummy food!

Needs some work. Every time I order something, app immediately asks me to take a survey before I have a chance to even see if there is confirmation of my order going through. Sure let’s take a survey 10-15 minutes before I can even pickup my food… problem being that the app never takes you to a survey, it just takes you back to the apps “home” page. Why ask me to take a survey if you won’t ever let me? I would rather see a confirmation page about the order I placed.

App to Restaurant didn’t work. I downloaded the app and was able to easily order and customize what I wanted. The app told me my food would be ready in 10 minutes, so I headed to the restaurant. In the drive through, the employee confirmed there was a mobile order under my name and asked me to list the items to ensure we had the correct order. When we arrived at the window, she handed us a bag with a partially correct order. We told her about the mixup and she said it would be corrected. She came back in a minute with another order, but it still wasn’t correct. Using the app caused so much confusion. I deleted the app and will not use it again.

WORST FF MOBLIE APP!. FIX THE APP!! Whatever team is in charge of running this app, needs to get fired. I’ve been going to Zaxby’s for years and trying to cooperate with this app, but there’s so many bugs, missing details, crashes, and the constant logging out is insane. I use many different moblie apps for fast food chains and this by far has to be THE WORST ONE!! The reward system is also horrible as well, nobody wants 1 singular free cookie with their order, but that seems like the only decent choice you can get. You have to order about 10 times yourself for at least 10$ an order for a good or really any deal on the app. It needs a bad readjustment, it’s been like this for too long.

Only useful for mobile orders.. Sure you can do orders on the app which is super nice. But it takes 15 minutes for the store to get the order. Then they are not allowed to release the order to you until the order ready time in the app. Don’t bother showing up before the time they tell you to. And the rewards are useless. I’ve been buying things there for months now and not a single thing has shown up. Only the free birthday thing back in February. It’s now June and I order Zaxby’s using the app about 4 times a month.

Northside Dr., Atlanta. This location is so incredibly slow. I have looked everywhere on the app and cannot find a place to designate curbside pick up. So, when you get there and called them they say “we can’t bring it to your car because you didn’t order it for curbside”. But, there is nowhere on the app to designate that. So during Covid when lobby is closed you have to go stand by the door and knock and knock and knock until somebody finally answers. Then it takes 10 or 15 more minutes to actually get your food. I don’t want to sit in the drive-through line for 30 minutes. Which, is why I order ahead on the app. This happened several times. Not impressed at all.

Constant Logins?? Session time outs less than 5 minutes??. I’ve had the app for a week or so now, but the orders I have tried to place constantly have me re-entering my login credentials every few minutes, and tells me my session is timed out, which wipes out my entire order! I’m sorry I don’t know exactly what I want when I open the app in less than a minute, it’s a bit unrealistic an expectation to have. It may be a bug, I’m not sure. It’s quite aggravating and inconvenient to input the same order more than once when it will just time me out and say that the session has expired, you know? Please, I hope this is fixed soon.

Good. I personally haven't had any problems with the app itself. I enjoy ordering from it with no problems picking it up. However, for the price you pay you should include more rewards. I had gotten the free sandwich meal that comes free when you download. Other than that, I've had no deals come up nor a points system to redeem anything when you get to a certain amount. Would be nice to have and would definitely give people more of a reason to come back other than the very good food.

Zaxby’s App is Great. I think the app is great! It makes it really easy to order and re-order the same thing over and over again for my kids. One of my main frustrations with it is around ordering drinks. There’s no option to just choose your drink at the store like there used to be! The only issue I’ve had is when it errors when changing between locations. It’s frustrating bc there’s little to no input about what the problem is.

Mixed review. I love the rewards and the convenience of ordering ahead. Here’s the thing, though. The app is not dependable. I have had several issues with the order looking as if it has not gone through when in fact it has. Today, I tried multiple times to hit complete pay and it stayed grey the whole time and never would complete the order. I had to order in person and missed being able to use my coupon. These messed up attempts have happened at least 3 or 4 times. That’s frustrating!

Intuitive and quick. The app is very nicely stylized, intuitive for the most part, there does seem to be some inconsistency with the rewards you receive for making an account with the app, but just reloading the app a few times does seem to smooth things over. Nothing terribly frustrating from an experience perspective, unless you’re the kind of person for whom ten minutes is the pinnacle of inconvenience. Great app, guys! Keep up the good work!

Zaxby’s app. Not consumer friendly I can’t add to any previous orders tried and tried finally sent the original order thru by itself then went back to the app and placed new order for additional items and it said since I just placed an order I had to wait ...I ordered it while I was in route ..when I got to the store they asked me to reorder everything all over again Maybe it’s an operator error but it should not be this difficult I should be able to add to any previous orders that are my history The story continues when I got to the window they ask me to pay again after the app charged my AX on both separate orders.

Buggy and glitchy. App continues to disappoint despite previously provided feedback. 1. Insufficient options for customizing order (Ie can’t choose “no ice” or even leave a comment with the order). 2. When repeating a previous order, if you have more than one of the same item in the order (even with different drinks), it will reset all the drinks to the same - and if you change one, the drinks change in all of the orders. 3. The “REVIEW YOUR ORDER” button should be relabeled “SUBMIT ORDER” because “REVIEW YOUR ORDER” button does not actually give you the option to review the order. It immediately submits and processes. These are basic tenants of intuitive app development that developers continue to neglect. I don’t order from Zaxby's nearly as much as I would if their app met basic usability standards. It’s 2021 post-pandemic, fellas. The standard has long been set for successful and intuitive online ordering apps (Ie the big red chicken). Hopefully this review will help make the experience better for all.

Zax Mail Club. My family and I signed up for the mail club in early 2018 and have been getting their free birthday sandwich meals every year. This year we each ended up getting 3 free cookies for our birthdays and not the free sandwich meal. I believe that this is due to the multiple changes they have made with their mail club. They are also now requiring phone verification to make online orders which is a bit too much for me. Curbside pickup still doesn't work on the app as well. Although the food is great and we'll still frequently come by, we will definitely not be coming back as often as we used to.

What’s the glitch?. Every single time I open the app, I either have to login only to be informed my password is incorrect (I always save my passwords on my phone), or I completely have to recreate an account. It’s always something. At first I thought it was me, but I’m noticing a pattern here. I just attempted to login, and it said “email not found”, so I had to recreate. Last time I had to rest password, but it found it. It’s like they completely loose your information somewhere on the back end. If you’re promoting the app as a way to “save time”, your failing miserably. When you can actually login it’s great, but logging in is always a hassle.
