Everything you want nothing you don't want. Great game. I love that it's like a deck of cards. It's not made so you win or lose. It's just random. you can go back if you make a mistake or even get help. It's your choice. Yes, they have ads to pay the bills and possibly make money. The ads are seldom intrusive, very seldom do they cause a problem. When that happens it's a one-time thing. Overall incredible game. Thank you very much for a game that simulates real cards. I tried several before I found this game. Update: after the recent upgrade at first glance I was disappointed because cards looked out of preoperative. This was because of my bad eyesight, I had the setting in the game options wrong for the new update. One I changed the setting, everything is great. The graphics in the new update are wonderfully sharp and crisp. Unlike lots of games where the update changes the game mechanics. As far as I can tell they left what worked alone, and instead took advantage of the powerful new chips to make the game look and feel even more like a deck of cards. The great thing is that the app does not get in the way of the experience instead just like a true deck of cards it is just a means to an end.

One Happy Player. Solitaire has made certain I never have been solitary for over a decade. It was great when I only had an iPad and played solitary to Guatemala and back. Since I got my iPhone solitary is in my pocket wherever I go including three weeks in Germany in 2017. Please don’t try to improve it and wind up only spoiling it. Amen to that! I also played my way throughout Germany with solitaire in July of 2017. It was about twenty years ago when I watched my brilliant brother-in-law play solitaire and decided if it’s good enough for Chris it’s good enough for me. You can’t improve a classic.

Game is no longer viable for me!. I used to love your version of Solitaire as it was the most original of all of them, however, the ads that are now popping up cannot be dismissed - there is no longer the ‘X’ to get out of it and to be able to get back to the app, I have to SHUT DOWN my phone. One ad in particular, which takes you to a webpage for a Keto diet pill, has set off my security app every time, and recently sent me a very clear warning that this was a hacker ad - and not to go into this ad in any way, shape, or form. Because you are no longer paying attention to this, thus allowing hackers to get into our phones/ computers, I am removing this app and will find another one to use. I realize that I am using a ‘free’ app, so have to deal with ads, but your actions in not scrutinizing your ads now mean that I am thru with your app. I guess it truly is all about the money now!

What did you do!. My app freezes and I get black screen and need to turn it off to continue playing. Your upgrade is horrendous!! Thank your for your response. I still have problems, not as frequently but still there. When I win or cannot and try to start a new game the ad attempts to load and then I get a black screen with a tiny symbol in the lower left corner. At that point I could wait and wait but nothing will change and need to close and shut the app down before I can continue to play. I hope this helps more than my first “rant”. RJ Update #2, I realized this morning that several of my apps are having issues “opening “ and that this started after my last Apple update of 13.3 something. I will also contact and rant at them. This morning absolutely no ads have shown on my Solitaire app?? Thank you for your interest in my issue. Ramona Many apologies and Mea Culpa....it turns out that my last Apple update corrupted as it downloaded and caused all the issues. I worked through Apple support and updated through my PC and now all is working beautifully. Please accept my profound apologies, I love your Solitaire program. Ramona

Best solitaire game I've ever played. I've played a lot of solitaire games over the years. Most of them were decent games and some were just terrible. What really sets this particular game above the rest is it's simplicity of design and how close it gets to a real life experience. No two games are the same and it's really impressive how the developers have been able to design the game in such a way that it feels like I'm playing with a real deck of cards that are being shuffled and dealt in a truly random way. The best compliment I can pay to the developers is to let them know that they've created a game that has been a really great way kill some time and immerse myself in the experience that helps to relieve stress and promote relaxation. Kudos to the developers and publishers. Thanks for creating a great game that I would have been more than happy to pay for but have been able to enjoy it for no money at all. If you enjoy solitaire, I can recommend this game without reservation. Give it a try, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Freeze. It's a good game; user friendly and challenging enough, however it continues to freeze suddenly. In the past when it froze, the game lay-out looked horizontally "squeezed",and one could only uninstall and re-install. I spoke with one of the very pleasant and helpful developers. They apparently were aware of the problem, and were working on it. It seemed to be solved for a while but no, the freezing is back. No more horizontal squeeze, but no response to touching the screen, in mid play, or at the start. Annoying. Only uninstall and re-install. I am looking at another game but Branium has the best lay out and rules.

Use to be a good game. Rarely write a poor review but this apps advertisements between each game have gotten excessive and obnoxious. After most games the commercial ad is loud and long. Sometimes it requires multiple clicks to bypass the ad and get back to the game. Bummer this app has gotten so ad focused as it really has diminished the experience. Update - was trying to include screen shots. Still loud ads running for 5+ seconds. Most have ability to mute but not all can be muted. Unpleasant experience to have noisy ads. Some ads do require multiple clicks, one to mute, second click after five seconds to close screen, then another ad for same game comes up. Three clicks to remove ad. This all changed from previous experience which had almost all silent ads. More pleasant experience.

Good game, annoying ads. Why don’t you thank us by getting rid of the horrible ads? The game itself is fine, but the tacky ads are really, really, really annoying. Unless you enjoy being irritated, you have to turn off wifi, or turn off Solitaire's cellular access, to avoid the ads. The ads are for crap that no one would want. Just to be extra annoying, occasionally an ad runs for quite a while before offering you an option to dismiss it, and in one instance, tapping the barely visible x did nothing whatsoever. The ad, which was for some dumb shoot-at-stuff game, was stuck. Closing and reopening Solitaire did nothing. The only way to get rid of the ad was to reboot the iPad. This is not acceptable. Whatever is spawning these ads needs to be sucked into a black hole.

Good, but odd feeling solitaire. I really like a lot about Brainium’s Solitaire game - great simple, snappy interface, love that I can customize the backs of my cards - but man, despite their claims of using a fancy randomized algorithm/shuffle algorithm, I’ve never played a solitaire game that felt so oddly not random. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve started a game and had all face up cards immediately be one suite, or all have 4 cards of a single number plus 3 cards a single other number, one digit away (for example all four 6s face up and three 5s). Really bizarre. I play a lot of normal solitaire using the fancy algorithm of actually shuffling real physical cards and that just does not happen as frequently as in this game. Nonetheless, I still enjoy and play it.

Still a touch screen play issue but, still great!. First of all, this is the Best solitaire game app on the market, bar none! But, my one complaint that gets totally in the way, an actual physical obstacle is how I am using a quick touch to send cards onto other corresponding cards that is a great automatic feature allowing for some seriously fast timed play! But, that is also the issue where I am on an older iPhone to my newest iPhone and both touchscreen play responses frequently causes the card to lift but not send or transfer that card to the other as needed to continue on to the next split-second card to play; I am constantly having to return to the previously unsuccessful card not autoplaying on-demand as needed and frustratingly needing to tap several times to finally get it to pass over to the next card??!! I still give this game a fifth star just for the game’s great graphics and is the beat on the market!

I gotta give them credit. I had written a review before that said the game was great, but the ads really were annoying, and deducted points from my review. The developer replied that no ads were supposed to be more than 7 seconds. WELL, somebody made the effort to clean up all the ads that were abusing the rules! Hallelujah!!! This game now sparkles with fun...it’s become my go-to game. And to all you advertisers out there, take a lesson here. Because the ads are now short, I pay attention to them and I don’t HATE them any more. Win-win for everyone! My sincere thanks to the developer and the team!

Brainium solitaire. I love this game. Most of the ads are not bad but some seem to “take over”, and are next to impossible to exit. Case in point: The Three ad from Berkshire Hathaway. You can hit Close, you can try to “X” out of it. It is only leaving your screen at its own pace, not yours. If I were not on a limited income, I would do the option of not having ads. But the Berkshire Hathaway is the worst. Yeah, I know it’s connected to Warren Buffet, but what good is a quote from Berkshire Hathaway going to do for a retiree like me? Not a single thing, that’s what!! Let Buffet advertise where companies normally advertise for other businesses.

It’s a good game. This was probably one of the first games I’ve downloaded.. my grandpa got me hooked on it . There are adds usually when you restart or go to a new game the only thing that I dislike is it doesn’t tell you when your outa moves but one thing I really like is you can change the game mode and you can change the card and board design to whatever you want, it lets you change the back of the cards to something in your photos and also the board to or you can go by some options they give ya . I just thought that was really creative. I suggest this game to anyone who loves solitaire!!

Cannot win. I had this app for months, and was never bothered by the ads like some other reviewers. However, I played 294 games and won only about 87 of them. This is not an exaggeration. Like another reviewer said, you might just respond “well, you aren’t good at solitaire then”. Au contraire. You will reach the point where even the hints do not give you actual hints to win. I would even pass the phone to my mom at times to see if she could find any tangible winning moves - alas, it we were both stumped. The game deals out cards in a way where winning becomes impossible for what feels like 9/10 games. In the beginning of having this app, I won a lot more, so I am curious if the longevity of how long you’ve had this app downloaded simultaneously decreases the likelihood of you winning based on some algorithm in the app. I would say about 80% of the games I played were unwinnable. I don’t mind a challenge, if anything it makes the game more fun, but there is a difference between a challenge and a game you simply cannot win. To preserve your sanity, please download another solitaire game. On another note, I did download this developer’s Mahjong app, and you’ll find that those games are quite winnable.

Most Challenging Solitaire. Other games have not challenged me as much as this game. I do question, however, why there are what I have found to be "unsolvable" games.... and why you offer "hints" which have no positive outcome. The game has me improving my overall strategies. My stats are at about 74%, and I hope to keep improving....Please developers answer what percentage of games are not winnable. Do not like wasting my time if there are non winnable games and you have yet to find a way to filter them out. For me to give this game a higher rating, you would need to ONLY include winnable games....

Racist ads. I’ve been playing this game with very issues for a yrs. today I see the most racist ad I’ve ever seen in my existence! This game has an ad after each played game but this one was sick. It was a picture of a black emoji with white stuff around his mouth. The writing on the ad “said i got black! What you got?” I really want to assume that this company was unaware of the ads they allow, but this one was too much. I normally don’t say anything but this is outrageous. Monitor your ads!!! No one should be subjected to racism this blatantly near 2020. Unfortunately, too many still thinks this is funny! The name of the game was Trivia Crack & when you look them up on the App Store, their icon is full of childlike characters like bouncing bananas & apples, etc. OUTRAGEOUS! I’ve already placed this same review on their site as well. One of you have to stop condoning this behavior & conditioning another generation to believe in racist stereotypes...racism period. Let there be a generation of loving one another for once in this human history!

I’m back. I am once again living alone and I love this game from the past and so I went searching for it I couldn’t remember my original login which is Paula POO 51 I think with a glass of red wine which is totally my gig but I am so looking forward to getting out my bigger computer instead of using my phone so I can use all my fingers and wiggle around thank you so much for having thia out there for us that are lonely and I lost my dog in the middle so I’m gonna get a another puppy so I won’t be so lonely and my mom is moving in with me so life is good It just took a minute😍

Nice single tap interface. After one or two hang ups it runs smoothly. I especially like the single tap interface that pretty much does the right thing when you tap a card. The auto-finish button that quietly appears when all of the cards on the table are visible is nice. The animation after you "win" is cute but boring after a few times. HOWEVER—Occasional ads, fine. Ads with loud music, HELL NO! I’m frequently playing this game while waiting in a quiet place with other people. P.S.: the ads got quiet for a few months but in the last few days I’m getting LOUD ADS WITH NO MUTE BUTTON - Shame on you!

One fault. I love your games. I look for your games. One problem I have found is minute but makes me crazy. The drop up menu when playing solitaire to go back a step or start a new game is on the bottom of my screen which is where all of my frequently used apps are and nearly every time I want your drop up menu I get my frequently used app drop up. It particularly seems to happen when I am close to winning a game I think and I see a card that the game did not pick up and place on the correct spot and I try to go back to get it. Just a pet peeve of mine. Doesn’t mean I will stop playing because you have the best games by far.

Is this a virus?. I have a fairly new iPhone with a battery that still works completely fine. As soon as I downloaded and started to play this game my battery started dying EXTREMELY fast. I would have this thing at 80% and plugged into a battery pack and within an hour my phone would be at 30% with the battery pack completely dead (it holds quite a bit of charge). The final straw was when I accidentally forgot to close the game running in the background before putting my phone in my pocket. I went for a 30 minute walk, leaving the house with 92% and coming back to 18%. Not only that but my phone was hot and being so glitchy that I could barely turn it off to restart it. It had actually dropped down to 16% before I managed to turn it off. Love the game but good god, this is either a virus or THE worst optimized game I’ve ever seen on any platform.

What..... I’m very disappointed because I am not able to move anything but a king to an open space. I have been playing this game for three months and I have had to restart the game because it seemed impossible to win. I love the design of this game very much. It’s just that one little thing that annoys me a lot. When I clearly can’t do anything because I can’t move anything but a king to an open space, I ask for a hint. When I have a queen and another queen with a jack, the hint directs me to move the jack to the other queen. And then I tap the hint again because of course, I can’t do ANYTHING because I can’t move anything but a king to an open space. The hint tells me to then move that jack to the queen it was just on.... I’m not sure if it’s not the real rules for you to only move the king to an open space, but that’s not how I play. I think this game is very amazing though. A lot of thought was put into this solitaire game.

Random algorithms? Riiight!. This is a very addictive and fun game as are almost every other solitaire app out there. The most annoying thing about this version is the supposed "random" algorithm that chooses the cards. These are about as random as a dirty casino slot machine. You will never be able to get above a 20% win rate because of the cards that are "chosen" to start the game. I have played well over a thousand games and at LEAST half of those games started with either ALL red or black cards, all low number cards, or ,the most infuriating of all, every single card in a suit. Entirely too many time this game deals out all 4 cards in a suit and even more often 3 cards from one and 3 cards from another. I've played solitaire since I was a child and NO other computerized solitaire game (NOR when I've played with actual cards shuffled and dealt by myself) has been this maddening and impossible to win. Yes it IS fun but it is also absolute crap and absolutely NOT random!

What the heck are they tracking?. So, I downloaded several solitaire games, as it is a mind soother for me. I liked the interface on this one best, so deleted the others, and was kind of happy. There is no reason that this program should EVER need to connect to the internet, I had solitaire on a computer before the world got access to the internet, and it worked just fine without an internet connection back then, solitaire hasn’t changed, so they are just taking advantage of me, forcing me to connect and watch the stupid ads, but it was a bargain with the devil I was willing to live with. Then, all the wifi stuff in the house got wonky, nothing worked, because our bandwidth was flooded. I was afraid of somebody piggybacking our internet or a trojan or some other hacker hijacking my system, so we brought out the big guns, ping trackers, bandwidth analysis, everything.... and it traced back to the IPad with solitaire on it. We removed ALL programs, except base Apple, the traffic use disappeared. Added programs back, one at a time, when we got to solitaire, traffic was BAAAACKKK, so, I don’t know what they are up to, don’t care, as long as it doesn’t include ME, and the resources I am paying for, so getting rid of this and taking the time to dig out the old, internet free solitaire program, resetting my iPad and NEVER getting anything from these guys ever again. Too expensive!

A Great Solitaire Version. Still enjoy this version of Solitaire. But for the past few weeks, the advertisement for Find the Clues game has fatal flaw; when pressing X, the app closes. I have used this app for a couple of years and found it to be a great version of the basic solitaire. I use the app daily just for relaxation. But I also pay attention to the stats being kept (about 40% wins) as well as the achievements which just gives me smiles, like 'Night Owl'. The ads that are shown don't interrupt my game, but appear between games and are easily dismissed. In addition, I also use FreeCell from the same maker which is another good solitaire game.

Random?. UPDATE: The developer sent me a very thoughtful response to my skeptical evaluation and I was able to review the mathematical basis and coding principles for the random generators and shuffling algorithms. As a result of reading through that information, I think I can say that my skepticism does not hold up to scrutiny. I also want to thank the developer for taking the time to provide useful supportive information. To me, that was extremely thoughtful. ORIGINAL: I would love to see Branium’s randomization routine. I think the table is heavily tilted towards putting more ads in front of you. All the mechanics of the game are fine - it’s user friendly enough, the options to customize settings are adequate, and the speed of cards appearing or shuffling off the field of play is fine. The ads take a while to appear, the time to “x” out seems like an eternity, they apparently don’t have a lot of companies buying ad space, so ads are repeated ad naseum, and finally, again, I think the deck is stacked to increase potential for more ads to be thrown at you. I would go into why I don’t think the shuffles are truly random, but I’ve already spent way too many minutes writing about a very small pastime. Don’t settle for one, try a few and find one you will like more than I liked this one.

Meow. Hi!! I really love solitaire and I’m so happy I can also play it on my phone when I don’t know where my cards are! My mom won’t play a game with me, my brother doesn’t really know how to play, and my dad is always playing another game. Although, one thing is, sometimes the games seem impossible even with hints. Some even ARE impossible. But I love how you can customize the background and the back of the cards. You could make it so that you can do two player games with one person on one device and the other on another and they compete to see who can win the fastest. Although you might have to add a “this is impossible” button... sorry I made this so long I just have a lot to say and I’m pretty bored 😅😅

To much. To much advertisement. You never get to play two games back to back. Always advertising, always wanting you to download other games. If I wanted more games, I’d down load them myself. Seeing a lot of advertising, I leave and go to a different game that I can play without all this advertising. I can’t even play one game without interrupting the games. Not good. Fix it or I’ll leave again, it use not be like this. One star for me. I wouldn’t even give it a star at all but I have to in order to play the game. I’m not happy about all this advertising it’s to much. 😡

Newest update. For the developer: your most recent update includes a new way of delivering ads, a pop up during the game instead of the ads between games. I want to report that this feature cause me to delete the app. This newest ad pop up is so intrusive that I can’t play anymore. It pops up frequently during the game, at what appears to be at random times. I think have to tap it get the cancel to get back to the game. The frequency and intrusiveness of the ad delivery is undoable for me. And I understand the need for ads but this is over the top for me. Otherwise I totally enjoyed playing this game. I’ve tried others over the years and consider this one my fav. 3 stars because of this issue above.

Love the game!. I really like this app. It’s fun, easy to use, and it lets you pick whichever background and cards you want. Lately though, there’s been a bug or a glitch that keeps making the app close on me every time I open it. I tried deleting the app and downloading it again (which made me lose my records), but the glitch is still there! Now I just hope that I get lucky when opening the app, but I haven’t been able to play in weeks without the app just glitching halfway through my game. I hope they can fix this because I really don’t want to download another version of this game; this one’s been my favorite for a few years now and I don’t want to get rid of it again.

Solitaire. Is a very old game and is credited to some amazing things. Great for the mind which is also great for the body. It keeps you going forward. It’s great for relieving stress. So its my understanding that some credit is given to solitaire for the development of the Periodic Table. The thing with solitaire it brings order to caous. For me I can remember parents and grandparents playing what they call Old Saul at the kitchen table. Claiming that its good medecine. I think it teaches sometimes the cards that we are dealt is just the way things are. In many times with life and solitaire it seems that we have a very bad draw and we don’t see how this can come together. The fact is if we stay at it and do certain things that it can not only come together but can come together in a big way. Which brings me to some quotes that my parents would say,” I’ve seen sicker dogs get well” or “Where there’s a will there us a way.”

Throttled win rate.. Two things that are maddeningly wrong about this game. One is if you are on airplane mode so that the adds can’t run the win rate drops to zero. And worse. It doesn’t even let you “feel” like you’re winning. You’re lucky to get four or five flips. The second you turn off airplane mode the win rate shoots up in a ridiculously obvious way. You’ll be able to get tons of flips even if you don’t win every hand. Problem two is the annoying adds. Even with the airline mode off the win rate is lower than it should be and you’ll have to hit “new game” a lot. Then a video starts and shuts off your music so it can run a stupid clip. If you’re renewing your games a lot trying to get even just one win you’ll get 4 or 5 interruptions in the middle of a good song. So frustrating!

Ads are too long. I love this version of this game and have played it thousands of times. I understand that ads are necessary and I haven’t had any problem with them until recently. Now it seems that there are many ads which run for 30 seconds and I can’t cut them any shorter, and they are frequent. When a game may last 3-3 1/2 minutes, 30 seconds is a long ad. When it happens repeatedly, it’s irritating. I’m just about to delete the app, but I thought I would try giving input first. The developer responded and now everything seems to be ok. Thanks for your quick response

Love the app however..... I am an avid solitaire person, probably one of my favorite games. I absolutely love this app. Love the fact I can personalize the background & the cards too! The undo option is great, align with options of draw 3 or vegas scoring. Sometimes I want it, sometimes I don't. I like the options there. However, as of recently it's been freezing nonstop, everyone other card I touch *game freezes* and I have to exit and restart the app. There are a lot of ads which I understand, however those too freeze the app quite often. Only app I have that freezes. It's frustrating. Especially when, like I said, am a solitaire junkie basically. Might find a new one if it continues to be too bad. Only reason for 3 instead of 5 stars.

Awesome Solitaire App. I love this solitaire app and would highly recommend it. I’ve never had any technical issues with it either over the 3 years that I’ve used it. I also really enjoy the fact that the background can be changed and the back of the cards can be designed with your favorite photo. If you win a game, there is a short “commercial” for an app, but it is not so long as to be super irritating. If you are looking for a highly readable app for playing a simple game of solitaire — look no further!

* Solitaire. Considering I normally hate solitaire games with a passion, you have made this one quite enjoyable. Of course I am getting up there a bit age wise and I find myself currently liking things I normally wouldn’t dare; this type game being one of them. I like the crystal clear cards. I like that the game is 97% in its simplest form making it easier for the “ole skool” people to play. I do wish the cars were larger just a tad but since I play in portrait mode it takes up my screen which I prefer. I don’t like playing in landscape mode anyway; at least not yet. I like that it has minimal frills and actually uses real playing card design. I haven’t got the hang of Vegas mode 🤔 I would like to understand it better. The financial aspect makes the prospect fun. Thing is, I was playing with Vegas cumulative option on but I ran out of spare cards; I tapped the empty deck to flip them but nothing happened 🤔 I got super confused afterward so I just switched back to regular play. I like simplicity so this pretty much right up my alley. 👏🏼 Great job! 😀

Enjoyable, but also annoying. What other reviewers have said is true -- the cards are not as random as if you were playing with a real deck. The game seems to go in cycles of winning for a stretch and then not being able to win for a (long?) stretch. That said, I'm mostly using it for mindless passing of time, so I just keep going. I don't even mind the ads, as long as I can just X them away. The ads that have timers, lasting 5 seconds or more, or multiple pages are a different matter. And, just recently, ads with sound have been popping up, and, if one isn't paying attention in order to silence them quickly, they are very noisy! I have no desire to draw attention to myself in a public place or on an airplane, or to interrupt someone nearby who is reading, watching tv or on the phone. (I realize I could mute my device, but I shouldn't have to.) If these ads continue, I probably will delete this app.

It serves the purpose.. I have played this game for several years. It makes me sleepy, which is what I need just before I go to bed. It’s a simple game. Like most most card games it helps to remember the cards played. I actually prefer shuffling the deck. I am highly suspicious the deck here is contrived by the developer so I get the feeling of not only playing the cards dealt but also playing against the developer. While a shuffled deck can give such displays as all reds or all blacks I get tired getting to the end point and repeatedly have two card remaining, needing say a red nine to complete ty run and a black nine come up. And, all to often it’s a nine being used to foil the run. The are other quirks in this deck arrangement, several. Then there is the scoring. It makes no apparent logic as to the score given for the achievement of a run, and I do not see an explanation how a score is determined.

Best graphics I think. I would like to see the undo button on the screen all the time or have the option to have it there instead of having to pull up the menu. Like most games now it is crammed full of ads which just get in the way and make it unenjoyable. I decided to delete the game from my iPhone because of this. I think these guys have the best graphics and sound though. I think the apps are affordable. With solitaire I would like to option to stack the columns one way or the other. FreeCell gives you an option of switching the top around to where you want things and I like solitaire to do the same. With FreeCell I have a good one ratio, but with the regular solitaire the win ratio is very poor. I don't believe in making difficulty levels, just have it be random and you win what you win. With the redo button how can you lose.

Latest update destroyed the app.. Very sad that this app has apparently decided that pop-up ads are more important than the user’s experience. Slowly and methodically they added the pop-up ads and now, with the latest update, they’ve added sound and general retail advertisers. UPDATE: You guys either don’t care or don’t seem to be listening to the growing number of reviews that are complaining about your newly invasive and obnoxious advertising regimen. It’s not enough for you to post your “Developer,” apologies or assert your blame game against a 3rd party “curator,” over whom you allegedly have no control. You have control over BOTH aspects and though no one argues over paying your developers, there’s a reasonable expectation on the part of your users that they won’t be abused. That is what is taking place when your app automatically kidnaps the user to the Apple Store to a completely unwanted alternative app. Perhaps, you’re betting on the probability that new users will replace those of us who plan to delete your app if this kind of abuse continues. FAREWELL UPDATE: After a temporary reprieve following scores of complaints regarding endless redirects to advertising, now we’re being presented with 3 slick questions that essentially forces us to either accept the ads or pay to eliminate them. I’m eliminating the app instead. Farewell, it’s been fun!

Best solitaire. This is my favorite of the solitaire games. You can select a background from your photos, the card face design is a crisp mix of traditional and modern, the card back selections are nice. The ads are quick and do not appear on the playing screen, only between games. The control panel is not visible unless you tap it; I like a clean screen. My only complaint is that the shuffles are not random. Perhaps this is to make it possible for the player to win more games. The result is a preponderance of deals that result in, for example, all red cards or mostly red cards, or three of the same card, three aces that turn up early in the game —these patterns and others repeat often. It would be fun to have an “IS THIS GAME WINNABLE” feature, so that when you lose you can then check to see if it’s winnable and try again.

Solitaire. Have played for good while with no ads then recently the game froze. I couldn’t move the cards. I deleted and reinstalled and now I am told I have to pay to get the no ads feature again. I wrote and told them of my problem. Got an email saying they would be in touch. Have heard nothing. Days later: Did get email from Brainium. Was not able to download the no ads version as instructed I could do. Was in the cloud so should have been available. The download showed a circle that never ended circling around. So I decided to reboot my phone and after the reboot I was able to download the no ad version in my cloud. I am so happy to have finally gotten my solitaire back!!!!! Thank you for your help. PS. I have changed my rating.

Really cool!. I have just brought this game yesterday, and I got to tell you, I was really addicted to it! My three personal favorite about the game is that I can change the theme on the card and in the background. With that I made a beautiful mountain in the background. I also put a picture of my dog on the back of the card! My second personal favorite is that it’s so satisfying to see the cards gently fold back to the card pile when game is over. It’s like seeing $100 of money deposit into your bank account! My third personal favorite is that when I play the game, I just randomly tap everywhere and when I see the cards going crazy after tapping everywhere, I’m like “what the crap?” It’s so funny! (Not a bug) also at the end of the game, I notice that even after I finish the game I will see a whooping 200$ as my score! It’s like getting money in real life! I find that satisfying! Keep up the good work!

Brainium games. I have found the Brainium games to be an excellent way to pass much idle time, now that I am disabled and home bound. These games are both fun, challenging, and addictive. I really enjoy and appreciate the way the time seems to fly while I am not only passing the day, but I am also keeping my mind sharp. I also use the free games, because they save me money, and keep me alert when the ads’ appear. I have also noticed that some of the ads’ are for some pretty nifty, sometimes ingenious products. All in all, I am thankful for Brainium games and their sponsors; a really great match! Joseph B.

I Adore This App. I adore this app. I play several, several hands a week while watching television at night when the day is done. It helps keep my hands busy and my mind a little occupied so I don’t get fidgety and want to snack. It’s the best-looking version of solitaire out there, which rich graphics. I use the wood-grain table display and it looks real. It’s a little expensive, but I paid for the one-time upgrade and it was worth it a hundred times over. If you enjoy it, just pay the money. You won’t regret it. Also, the developer continues to update it.

Hint option is unhelpful at times. I really enjoy playing this app but the thing that stopped it from being a full five stars from me was the fact that the hint option can be pretty much useless as times. As a beginner at Solitaire I often find myself needing help. That is why I use the Hint option. However at times I feel as if when I get myself into a pickle, the Hint option further complicates the pickle and instead of helping, it rather makes a tennis match back and forth between the cards, basically a waste of my time. Overall, the game is fine. Just improve on the assistance for the Hint option and if it’s an unfixable even with hints, tell players to restart the game.

Too many ads, and freezes too much. The game has gotten worse with each update, and there are way too many ads. Game freezes up quite a bit, and it doesn’t respond properly. Also the fact that if you have to undo a move it will automatically add time to your already existing time to cause you to go over is really not a very desirable feature. Almost like the creator of this game does not want a player to even be able to beat already set high scoring time, no matter what you do or how quickly you can get through a set. As soon as I find a suitable replacement game, I will be deleting this one.

Great game! But confused now.... Update: I thank the developers for reaching out. I am not sure how to directly respond to the email so I am adding an update here. I never had 2 apps of your game (solitaire free and the paid version) I have always just had one app that was paid. The day that I reached out the same app I was using that morning it defaulted back to the free version. However, I just updated the app and scrolled to find “restore purchases” and it solved the problem!! Good to go! Thank you! Original review: I have been playing this game for the past two years on my daily commute. Early January I purchased to play without ads. Everything was working great up until moments ago. I opened the app and everything was reverted back to the original settings as if I was downloading it for the first time. The card themes and background was back to default and the ads are popping up even more than they were before I decided to go ad free. Is there something I’m missing? I don’t want to pay again for something I already purchased and it seems odd that everything went back to default settings.

Who do you think you are!!!. I got a new update on my phone yesterday and with it I got a wonderful update to your game! This game now has windows that pop down every few minutes with (mule hat!) comments. (Fill free to insert the correct word!) I us this game to relax to fall back to sleep. I couldn’t sleep last night and played a couple games. This morning I opened it and got a pop up that says.” Night owl we caught you playing late last night” Who do you think you are?! My mommy?! You can take your smart remarks and your game and shove it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish you could hear the words I was calling your wonderful programmers but if I used them, my review would be taken down! #%*% *#% *%#*# %*% #%#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very low percentage of wins versus losses. I haven't been playing this game since my Apple IPhone 5 and I've had the iPhone 6 for about 15 months. I have played close to 2000 games and everyone exactly 377, less than 20%. I would very much like to have the ability to adjust the difficulty as other solitary games have. UPDATE!!!! I have let my wife play this game to see if she could do better than I have. We switched phones for a month. Her I five phone with a different game gives her A higher percentage of wins. Or percentage was right around 20% which was the same as mine. I would like to see the option to allow The user to adjust the difficulty.

Decent version of Solitaire. I recently switch from a Windows 10 phone to an Apple iPhone. I tried to find a version of this game similar to what I had on that phone. Game play on this version of Solitaire is good. Two areas of one improvement would be make the “undo” button immediately available (currently on a pull up menu), and find a different way to display the adds. Not having the undo button on the main screen adds several seconds to the time it takes to successfully solve the hand. On the version I played on my old phone I regularly got below two minutes to solve the hand, but the best I can do with this version is 2 minutes 20 seconds. Being forced to watch a 5 second add after (on average) every other deal is rather off-putting. Perhaps that is the Apple phone App way, but I still might look for a different version of this game on the iPhone because of it. Otherwise, good game.

Love the game but I would change one thing!. I’d have the option to keep the bar at the bottom on the screen. It’s annoying to have to tap the screen every time I need to undo a move! But other than that, love the game.

Unfair. I wanted to know what my IQ was so I downloaded this game but when I went to play I found it didn’t show what my IQ was but the ad did. Why put the ad out showing what your IQ would be if you were to play the game. I thought maybe it was an error so download a similar game only to find it also didn’t show your IQ which is pretty unfair and annoying. I know that my IQ is above average but wondered if it had changed now I’m older. Please fix the glitch and put what was in the ad into the game.

Annoying. Stop advertising another game every time I want to start a new solitaire game!!! It’s extremely annoying and I want to delete this app...

Solitaire. The solitaire is a very good game. The only thing I dislike is haveing other new games to install If I want any other new games I will look for them myself. !!!!

Ads Ads Ads. Would be great... except for the stupid ads. Every time I try to start a new game the Final Fantasy ad comes on & my whole app crashes. Go back in, try New Game again, FF ad... app crashes. Always manage to start a new game after about the third go, but I don't have the patience to deal with this issue. I'd pay to remove ads permanently but no option for this. Just deleted the app and am trying a different Solitaire app now.

Lack of visual options. The insipid background colour and card face have led me to delete the current version of the game. There does not seem to be any way to revert to the former style which I happily played endlessly.

Too many ads and getting worse. I have played this for a long time, since before there were ads. I didn’t mind the first ads. They were short and just one. Now the ads are getting longer and longer and there are several. I’m not playing this game any more. Looking for another one with fewer and shorter ads. Or none.

Ads are destroying the app. Good game but ads are sometimes difficult to close and opens links. Will delete this soon due to extreme irritation with ads.

SOLITAIRE. I am grateful for the free game, It helps with focusing my mind to one task. In saying this, I accept there will be advertising, however, some advertising is sneaky!! in relation to X = close/stop!! you have to tap on two X's to close the Advertisement!! What the? I Will try to remember to follow up with advertisement type to provide evidence..................watch this space. Update 3/2/18 TOONS cubes is one

Solitaire. I’ve been playing this game for years, just recently I paid for ad free on my iPhone, but sadly the purchase does sync with my iPad. Surely I don’t have make another payment for ad free on iPad

My Solitaire review. My Mother used to absolutely love playing solitaire, both initially with cards then on her tablet as technology advanced to a point where she understood. Since her passing on 9th of January this year(2022) I have found solace in this game as it provides a sense of calm reflection combined with keeping my brain active 🤣 To be honest,- great game, great layout 🤙 less is more 🙏😎❤️

Krueger. I have it a hour because every time I turn a new game on an add always comes on and it is really annoying and also it is pretty annoying when there is no way to Finnish the game there should always be a way to Finnish the game and sometimes I have to quit the game and start a bare one

Great... Then good.. Great Classic Solitaire, but after a while patterns appear (if u have 3 aces and turn over a 2 it will be the one u don't have the Ace for, 2 aces with 2x2's below? They'll be the 'other' 2's. Also 6's, 7's tend not to appear early in game. Not a big deal & I could even handle an ad between games, but now there's timed ads you can't get rid of until the timer runs down. Bad move!!

Too many ads. I find it really annoying that you time the ads before you can go back to the game

Crashing. The App used to be great, but now it always crashes within 5 seconds of opening - very frustrating.

Great game, lot of ads. Very clean and simple game. User friendly, good options and landscape view, only downside has an add after every game and difficult to exit the ads (possibly common with these games) which leads to a wait time. Cost for no-ads is very expensive. Other than that, pretty good!

Solitaire. A quiet relaxing game to play when taking a break from every day chores and activities. Most enjoyable playing against yourself to see how fast the challenge can be achieved.

Adverts. I love playing this, especially at night when I need to switch myself into sleep mode. I don’t mind the ads and am happy for them to pop up between games but lately there’s one advert, for Tik Tok, that is automatically loading the app and that’s not on. Stop it. I don’t want this app on my phone.

Break-through sound in adverts. I use this app to put me to sleep. Or sometimes when I have a few minutes and am waiting for something to process on the computer maybe. But although I have the sound turned off, some adverts have started to break through with sound (music), and it is very annoying when I am in a quiet place. So I have downloaded alternative Solitaire games.

Nick. Great game. Suggestion.. how can we make add free. Or at least make it smarter to notice what you have no interest in or if you have already downloaded a game fir instance to not show it again. 👍😊

Solitaire. So much fun. Even if it's on a screen it saves you from setting everything up. There is a lot of ways to cheat but you shouldn't be cheating in the first place.

Patients card games.. I love playing this game on my phone while I’m on my lunch break . The only thing I don’t like about it is all the advertisements that pop up , it is really annoying.

Good game but too many ads. There are too many ads in this game and no option to get rid of them. I like the game and would be happy to pay in order for the ads to go away. As it is I will probably stop playing this game. Also, it looks like many of the reviews for this game are fake.

Less adds. Need to have less adds instead of after each game.

Crack, snapple and pop. Awesome I can spend hours on this game. It's a great time waster. And you can sometimes just let your mind go blank without any thoughts whatsoever going through your brain ❗️❗️❗️ I highly recommend it❗️❗️❗️😃😃😃😃😎😎😎🤓🤓🤓

Game froze. Game will randomly freeze when selecting new game option after completing previous game. This is most frustrating as bug seems to be quite random!!!

News version klunky. This used to be the best game of solitaire around, smooth quick and great visually. But the latest version seems clunky. The cards hesitate before they move sometimes, the card flight is juddery and it's not just not the same experience at all.

Keeps crashing. Keeps crashing at the end of a completed game, while tallying up number of moves & time taken, and app closes. Then when you reopen the app, it keeps closing itself down again. Only way to get the app to work again is to delete it altogether and download it again.

Ad’s. Great game but the new idea to put ad’s at the bottom of the screen overlapping the menu buttons is incredibly frustrating. It makes it so hard to actually use the menu.

Used to be ok. So many adds bombarding you, you’re forever switching to opposite sides of screen to close the add or you accidentally click on the link AND stuck with watching timed video adds. I just want to play the game! Anyone got recommendations for a game that doesn’t have adds? I’m happy to pay but this game doesn’t give you the option to pay for an add free game. I also contacted support and they never replied.

Solitaire. Frustrating to have adds all the time. When you open a new game adds pop up, some you simply can’t close down. Very rarely do you win a game. Seems like the software is written to favour the house and not the player. So far this is the best of a very bad bunch of solitaire games available from the App Store. On my i5 I had the best ever solitaire game. When I upgraded to an i8, I lost the game and have never found a good one since.

Problem app. This app was responsible for iPhone overheating & draining the battery in a short time took along time to establish the problem removal of app FIXED the issue 5 stars for game reduced to zero because of over heating issues not recommended

Top game to get your rid of your boredom!. Iv been playing this one for a fairly long time now & apart from the occasional computer emulated card layouts (dealing all blacks at your starting point of your game) overall this game is ok. I think with a bit more natural randomizing of the deck layouts, some other rear deck designs & some cool table colors maybe even then this could be the best release out there :)

Disappointing. Have loved this game, but for some reason the last month it keeps crashing & I have to close & re open. Making me look for other free Solitaire games 😞.

Games seem manipulated. I’ve tried this game for about 6 months now. I’ve played thousands of hands in that time. The decks/cards drawn really do not seem random. Cards drawn seem to be dynamically skewed towards the user losing games. I’ve deleted now and will look for better/fairer options.

Very good. Terrific app, can be annoying getting rid of the ads so that you can get onto another game, but that’s the price you pay when it’s free

Mrs Russell. Addicted, play every chance I get! A timer would be nice and The ads are extremely annoying especially when they are timed As you can't get rid of them straight away.

The deck draws are terrible. I’ve played the original game on Microsoft and there are variable levels of difficulty you can choose. This game does not have this, and it seems to deal out a higher frequency of unsolveable decks than you’d experience on MS. I suspect this is to increase the ad revenue by forcing the user to hit “new game” for a new deck, which prompts the next ad to play. No wonder there’s so many reviewers complaining about the ads! 👎👎👎

Stay away. More ads than game. For a long time this was a great game. There were a few ads but that is fair enough. Then they ran an update and now there is a minimum of 35 seconds of ads after each hand. You know exactly how long the ads are because they have a timer that tells you how long they are. It is no longer relaxed fun, it is now aggravating rubbish. I wish I could give a zero rating.

Bottelo add. You can close this add you need to close the app and reopen not happy at the moment with this app after 8 years please fix this problem

Wow. Absolutely amazing. The only thing that could change is Maybe a tutorial for beginners who don’t know how to play!

Advertise. I don’t like the advertisements while I am playing the games. It will be very kind of you to take the advertisement off when I am playing. Thanks & Regards.

Play solitaire. I love solitaire it’s a fun game but you have to focus on the game while your playing When I finish playing I feel so calm So I recommend downloading this app so you are always a calm person

Was great for a few months, now it doesn’t open. I got this when I was put in hospital 500kms from home while pregnant with my twins. It was great at keeping me entertained and now I use it to get to sleep. I’m not sure why it puts me to sleep but it does. However, it now crashes. I can’t play it anymore. As soon as it opens it crashes. I’m guessing there is a bug of some kind. Anyways, it was good while it lasted. Cheers.

Good game but..... Good game but ads keep sending you to the App Store in a continuous loop. You have to keep closing out several times to try and get back to a new game. I don’t mind seeing an ad or two between games but this is getting too much.

RAMBO. Been enjoying this version for a couple of years now, on three versions of the iPhone. Never a problem. Great gameplay. Excellent graphics and the new animations are cool. I do have a suggestion though. Move the “Auto complete” button up the screen a bit further so fat thumbs stop hitting the settings menu every time I try to beat my best time.

Top game. My Grandmother taught version of Solitaire when I was very young. I enjoy the modern Digital play. I can repeat a game for a second or third time with different moves if I wish to.

You were good you were real good. I think solitaire is a great game it isn’t too hard and almost anyone can play it with an unlimited amount of hints if you get stuck I give it a 4 out of 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️😀

Old favourite. This is my go to game. The format suits me. It’s no fuss design makes it easy to see, quick response makes the game flow, colours are pleasing, and player always has control of the game (adds allowing, that is).

Bug needs fixing. I have been playing this for years and it’s been great but over the last couple of weeks I have found issues. When you open it up to start a new game it doesn’t open. I have to uninstall and reinstall the game which means I lose all my previous best scores & times.

Solitaire. A really cool game to enjoy especially in the first snowfall of the year

Ads and game play. Ads keep changing direction, so you have to change whatever device your playing on.

Brainiac Solitare. Great game !

Solitaire is the pest thank you for the best game ever Played I’m happy to play it all my free time. Send

Battery hog. Perfect if you like running your battery dry

Solitaire. Its perfect in every way.Gizaubi

Best solitaire game. Great game not too many ads

Unethical ads. Getting ads for organized game hunting in Africa. Deleting the game!

Great game. The ads do pop up but you can cancel them almost immediately….great!!!

Fun. Love this game it’s very relaxing and helps my brain power

A great game. I have always loved this game, but it is addicting. Some new games where I don’t win, I’ll replay several times until I win or give up. That’s when I get frustrated and go onto a new game. Some games I can complete in under 3 minutes, but if I can’t beat the time, I’ll try again. It’s fun and relaxing.

What happened??. After two games these app gets frozen on ads. I’ve deleted three times in the last couple days and re installed but I’m getting very tired of doing this after a couple games. This problem is new for me and I really don’t like it.

passe-temps très distrayant. J’aime... j’aime beaucoup. Exercice pour me garder en forme sur le plan de la réflexion.

Brainium has done it again!. I didn’t really think anyone could make a great Solitaire game but Brainium has done it. I didn’t know how to play Solitaire and this app not only taught me how to play but the “Hints” tab helped me learn technique. I’m a much better player now and will keep going to win where earlier I would’ve lost hope and given up. If you’re a fan of Solitaire or want to learn the game this is the app for you!

Great ply. I really like it

Solidarity. This game is running really well now!!! It’s a big winner these days!!! Thank you so much for fixing it!

Focus. A great way to pass the time 👍

Brain is awake. Feed my brain. Thanks

Sad review. Great game, except when they run an upgrade.....you lose all of your history. When you complain, they give you a couple of hopeless solutions that have no chance of solving the issue.

Solitaire. Great game just love it. Love this game

Ads. I love the game, it’s a great to pass time. Only thing that I don’t I find very annoying, since the last couple of updates ads have started to appear while your playing! If it gets any worse I’ll delete it.

Life of solitaire. Best solitaire game

Winning odds. Unless there’s a clever method other than simple logic , this game is set up at a 50% win/lose ratio at basic settings.

Solitaire. I really love this Game, and could play it all day long if I would have time Thank you very much Solitaire

Solitaire. Nice game passes the time and makes me sleepy when I can’t sleep 😎

Relax. A good way to relax and get your mind off any concerns of the day.

Lost some faith. II am amazed that you and your advertisers think that hiding the cross to get back to the game is going to encourage me to buy. 'Bye.

Way to many ads. I have been using this app for years but how there are at least two ads between games that mess with your screen orientation so you have flip your iPad around, ads that hide the X to cancel and some ads that will not clear forcing an app reboot. I have better things to do than mess with this.

Go to. This is my go to game. Never get bored with this challenging mind exercise. Especially I love the fact that when the internet connection is down I can still play.

POWPOWPOW. The best game I’ve ever placed Cha Cha Cha WOO, snap snap snap

Advertising. Way too many ads!

Jhfxvutdvb. I love this app. It’s a relaxing time for me. 5 stars

Dirty Adverts. Ads come up when a game ends. Recently noted that one dirty sexually explicit ad came up repeatedly. This game is going in the trash bin.

best game ever. I LOVE this game. I live breathe and eat solitaire. This app is perfect for playing multiple times a day, when your eyes start to burn from reading words or when you have to self-soothe, there's nothing like the gentle repetitive process of solitaire, of trying again until the auto-complete button appears. There is truly no simple joy like winning a game of solitaire.

Screen freezes. The game continually freezes when Bubble Witch 3appears on the screen. I have tried all the suggestions without success.I want this game permanently removed. This is getting ridiculous.

Brain Help. This keeps my brain working everyday

Solitaire. The game is addicting but it also keeps the mind active.

WAY TOO MANY ADVERTISEMENTS. Do NOT get this game unless you like spending most of your time watching mindless ads in video form that you cannot get out of.The game itself is good and I have enjoyed playing it for a few years, but recently they have far too many advertisements that you simply cannot close down. Reluctantly I will be looking for another site to play this game.

Why I like solitaire. The game taxes my mind and you don’t have those god damm commercials

Solitaire. Je trouve que les cartes ne ce brasse pas assez . J en ai déjà joué un qui était mieux ,,,mais ça fait longtemps

Orange dot. I see an orange dot whenever I leave the app running.

Solitaire is fun!!!!. This is a great solitaire game!! I highly recommend it to any who enjoys solitaire!!!!

Enjoying the game. I always liked playing Solitaire with a deck of cards but I like it even more playing it on the iPad. And thank you for the challenge of getting a new card back. I really like the pot of flowers because it looks so spring like.

Solitaire. Fun app!

Great app. The thing that I love best about this app is the length of time the ads run for. So short! And easy to get out of! Plus it’s a great game.

option to hide daily game. the main app is fine but the new daily game is annoying. i don't want to play but the little star won't go away unless i click the game. it is distracting. make an option to hide the daily game or at least get rid of star notice without clicking on the game.

Solitaire classic. I’d really like to have more choices in backgrounds and backs of cards, it gets boring after a while with not much choices for a change. Thanks

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

Fun. Great game the only thing that I have to say is that there is a way to cheat the game I know this because that is what I like to do with the games I have find a way to cheat. What you do is as you are flipping the cards out of the stack with click on them and if there is an available spot it goes there you don’t even have to know where it is going. Not that this is a problem just something to think about.

Update: upgrading my rating because problem appears to be resolved.. Update: I’m upgrading my rating because the problem I complained about seems to be fixed. It hasn’t happened in many months. Thank you! Original review: The game itself is quite good and I’ve enjoyed it in the past, but I’m significantly downgrading it now due to ads that cause the app to freeze up or crash. And, more importantly, a few ads the ads have started blasting loud music even when you have your phone set on silent.

Excellent game; timed ads are annoying. This would get five stars except for the annoying method of advertising. Sure, I understand you gotta' earn some dough either by sale or through advertising revenue, but having an ad remain on the screen for such a long time is annoying and actually is counterproductive -- even if I am interested in the product I will ignore it because I have been force fed the information. The good stuff: The game is great. The graphics are pleasing and the game seems to do a good job of randomizing the cards, making the game fair and entertaining.

Solataire. I am ready to quit playing this game. Almost every draw has at least three of the same card. Many have full houses, three of one and two of another. Cannot win games with draws like that. Also, a commercial with every single draw is excessive. I understand that being annoyed with ads pays the bills, but it is beyond that. I am very close to quitting and playing another game. I only play two. For a nominal amount I avoided ads on the other game. I would gladly pay the two dollars if I could. So, with those two things , I rate this a 2

Ads aren’t formatted well. Not my favorite solitaire app.. Most ads will stop the music from playing on my phone, regardless if my ringer is off or if the ad’s sound is not on. Some ads will have an x button in the corner that doesn’t work. I’ve noticed that most ads are all different formats from each other, which is not only annoying but also unprofessional. In regards to the game, most games I play are not solvable. I prefer apps that offer an option to play only solvable games. Also, the hints are useless most of the time. If it can’t further me into the game, it shouldn’t be a hint.

Developer Response. Thank-you for responding to your reviews! I read many of them. I just would like to correct one thing, I played 9 million plus and am working on 10. Do I play a lot? Yes I do!! I don’t care about ads, in fact I’ve followed up on some. I have zero suggestions because I like it the way it is. The updates have never concerned me either. I play everyday while I sort of watch TV. I win some I lose some, mainly it’s a great way to entertain myself!!! THANK-YOU BRAINIUM!!!!

Turning off sound does not work anymore. I have always loved playing solitaire, it relaxes me. I have toddler now and I like to play this game right after he goes to sleep or I sneak in a game right before I have to wake him up. I can’t trust this game anymore. I don’t know what happen but I always was able to trust the sound off button in the past. Something happened and now ad music blasts out and there is no way to turn it off. Is there another way to permanently turn off the sound?

Unresponsive to certain commands. Constantly having to ‘undo’ after tapping selection to bring down a new card into play is ignored; instead, I get a new set of three, requiring an ‘undo’ to get back to the card I wish to select. VERY irritating! BTW, I am using a stylus; it does the same thing with all my styluses (sp) so that isn’t the problem. Please fix this highly annoying bug. It really stresses me out, which is exactly opposite the desired effect the game is supposed to have. Otherwise, I love the game! Thanks for many hours of enjoyable (if slightly stressful) entertainment.

The slots ads are horrible. I love the game. Haven’t had problems till now. The slots ads don’t give you an option to close them. They just direct you to the App Store. After that the Solitaire app crashes and when reloaded it just loads up the same game you were on. I’m not able to open a new game because it keeps showing the same glitchy ad every time. I deleted the last Solitaire app I had because of this same problem. I’d like to not have to find another one. Please get rid of these horrible ads. It’s the “Piggy Slots” ad that is causing problems for me.

FIXED! New bugs. Update: Issue fixed. Working great! Very quick response and fix from support team. Upgraded from 1 star to 5 stars. Thanks support team for your quick help and fix. By the way — it wasn’t freezing. Just appeared that way at first. App freezes while still displaying an add, with part of new puzzle behind it. Unable to get out of/refresh. Had to delete the app, and reinstall. Happened yesterday as well. Had to delete and re-install.

Ads have become annoying. My first review said the ads didn’t bombard you. Well, they’ve changed. Now, ads are sometimes impossible to close. They have minimum times they stay up. And, some require you to hit two Xs from two different screens. I’ve even had to jump to the their links just to get them to close. That being said, I still play regularly. The layout is simple and the game doesn’t try to sell you more bells and whistles. I prefer it to any other Klondike solitaire out there.

A player. Fun, relaxing. Great way to learn how to play solitaire. You can undo any move, and you can replay any game. When I lose a game, I frequently replay it and often win on the second or third try. In any game of solitaire, even with real cards, on average, only 60% of the games can be won. So I am pleased with my average--47%--that means I am winning almost 5 out of every 6 games that it is possible to win. Also makes me think of life--success depends on how you play your cards, and sometimes, you just can't win, so just move on and don't take it personal.

Good game. The game is pretty good. Its just like the real life version. Great way to waste some time. The only problem is that some games are in-winnable because all the necessary cards are not presented/can not be obtained which is sort of frustrating when you’re like 20 minutes in backtracking and you can’t figure where you went wrong, only to realize it’s not your fault, it’s the game’s random generator that put a card in the wrong place. Hopefully this can get fix. I have screenshots of games where I’m unable to complete if devs are willing to look into the problem. Thanks

Really good but burns battery. This is the Solitaire game I was looking for. Realistic card layouts, pleasant interface, gorgeous backgrounds, and an autocomplete that doesn’t get up in your face. This would be the perfect Solitaire if it weren’t for a single problem: this game BURNS through the battery. I’m using a brand new iPad Pro and I can watch the battery percentage drop rapidly while playing this. The iPad can also get a bit toasty. If you can fix the battery issue, would be 5 stars and a no-ads purchase from me.

Great app! Could use better tips. Great app. Great game. The set ups can e challenging. The layout is very clean and simple and easy on the eyes. The last solitaire app I had moved slow and this one is much better. The tips aren’t very helpful though (it just shows you possible moves but not how to actually solve it) and if you’re stuck on a level it doesn’t help (for ex just tells you to move a 5 from one 6 or another, back and forth). Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars

Exactly what you want out of a solitaire app. Really solid game. Clean look, plays well, and a simple interface with some useful features. The ads aren’t that bad and the customization and statistics are pretty cool additions too. I haven’t tried any other solitaire games to compare but I haven’t had any reason to because this one’s great. My one suggestion would be adding the option to go back to the game’s home screen or adding a home screen if there isn’t one. Overall, would recommend

Deceptive ad behavior is worse than ever.. This Solitaire app used to be pretty good, but the deceptive ad practices have become intolerable. Examples include: Fake close buttons; close buttons that redirect users to real or fake download pages instead of actually closing the ad; and now, in the last couple of weeks, they have started serving up ads with miniaturized close buttons that are nearly impossible to see! Honestly, I wouldn’t trust ANY of the ads or the products or services they are trying to peddle because if they really were legit, they wouldn’t have to rely on such shady ad practices to sell them. In other words devs, the more you attempt to deceive users, the less likely we are to buy anything you’re trying to sell us.

Adequate Solitaire App. I have used a number of solitaire apps over the years and this is not my favorite. The algorithm for card selection feels less than random, with combinations of cards appearing together more often than by chance. I can usually tell within one or two cycles whether the hand is worth playing. It also fails to distinguish between games using three card draws and one card draws. I prefer three, but the app doesn't give winning percentages for three versus one card games. So, as I said, not my favorite. But adequate.

Solitaire Brainium--Beware!. Played this for about 4 months. The promos in between new games became longer--up to 30 seconds. I learned I could work round this by tapping out, then tapping icon again. The game was good enough I was willing to tolerate this, as ads you could instantly tap out of were mixed in w/shorter ones. However, in last 2 days, a game ad has tried to automatically download a sample into my device. This is a gross invasion that I cannot tolerate--especially since I've had trouble w/browser hi-jackers that were hidden in apps. So, bye-bye, Brainium Solitaire. I realize ads are necessary for revenue, but the risk of infection & increasing delays are not necessary to me!

Ads. I am no longer going to use Brainium games. You're incessant pop up ads are blocking any fun and enjoyment. I play this game to unwind and relax, but that is no longer possible. As of today, I am deleting the app and will look for another from a different outfit. In response to you email Dec 17th, I am no longer playing that game. I’m tired of all of the game app ads constantly taking me away from what I was trying to enjoy. The vast majority of the games were, in my case, stupid games. They were ads for kids games. You really need to get to know who the people are who play your games. Games that fit certain age groups. You really don’t know who you’re dealing with and that is proven by the games you are constantly throwing up on the screen.

Frustrating. Played for several weeks and enjoyed the game. I won some here and there and it was a great way to pass the time. All of a sudden, I have been playing for several days without a winnable hand. I even replayed many games several times and there was no solution. Had several games, even a few in a row where there was not one single move possible. Seems like my current losing streak started at the same time I realized you could bypass the ads by touching the upper right hand corner of the screen as soon as they started playing. I don’t mind some of the ads, but I started trying to bypass them when they became political. And not just political, but very hateful and misleading political ads. I tried to report them, but that almost seemed to make them more prevalent.

Advertisements. Add after add Ugh spent more time closing advertisements than playing, and it hasn’t gotten any better, the adds now freeze the program up and if you have anything open while playing it, it can crash your system. Let me give you an example; I like to listen to an audio book and play cards, as soon as your done with a game the add comes on and crashes my system, so I have to play cards on one device and listen to my audiobook on another. Same with any other program I have running in the background. The only time this program is okay is if I turn off the WiFi or I’m out of range, then it doesn’t crash but it takes forever to start the next game. I’m assuming it’s because it’s looking for a connection for the all important adds.....

Great Rendition of Solitaire. I find it funny that some reviewers have complained of some games that are difficult to beat. Sorry to break it to ya, but there is a finite number of possible games in solitaire. As such some are not possible to win. Others are exceptionally difficult to win. While some are just hard to win. And so on and so forth. But this game is a very good reproduction of the real world card game. Nice adjustability, with some nice features. Overall, one of the best digital versions I have encountered.

Addictive. Who knew? With easy the replay feature, I can explore different choices with the same deck. It's surprising how you can discover the one little trick that will lead to a solution. That's not cheating is it? Don't judge, it's not like using the super convenient undo button. Which I have only used when I'm truly desperate. Not every deck has a solution, but this app let's you explore the myriad of permutations. The ads are actually fun too, and you only see them between new games.

Good app but.... I’m updating this review out of the respect that the company actually reached out, and asked me to screen shot the specific problem ad. Nice to see a company get behind their product, and try to improve issues. In between new games you may be subjected to an annoying game advertisement. It will have a 5 second counter before you can close it. Problem is it won’t close for at least 10-15 seconds. It’s extremely annoying.

Very nice, but a few suggestions!. I love this game! It is simply solitaire, but with the great other things, like a hint button, and not having to shuffle! A lot of people think that online solitaire just gives you the cards you need, but this game does it fair and square! I’m new to solitaire, and this is great for beginners, and more advanced people! One thing I would say is, the game will end eventually, you can’t win EVERY game! So what I would do, is probably add a notification thing, that says when you’re out of moves! But overall, great game!

Splendid!. This app is truly a wonder. Solitaire is a problem solving game that can increase focus and help reduce stress. This game times you to see how quickly you can solve it. My current record is one minute and fifty one seconds. Not only that, but the cards and the backdrop can be changed to fit your personality. Just like all free apps, it does have ads that pop up occasionally but personally, I don’t see a problem with that. This game is relaxing and great whenever I’m bored or on the go.

Mostly great game. I love solitaire. I play it at work and home. I can go through a game in 1-2 minutes usually. Only complaint is lots of ads. And not just in between games. Sometimes the screen freezes and not even closing the app then signing back in helps. The other day I finished a game and the same starting cards came up. Even when I closed the app and went back in, it was the same exact cards! Finally just quit for the night and it was fixed the next day. But over all, I love this app.

Fun when you just want to relax. I like this game for winding down for the day. Sometimes I check percentages (really only when I have lost several games in a row lol). Pros: easy to play, several options for scoring available. Cons: hint is available even when there are no moves left (shows you how to move things from column to column). If there are no moves to win, the option should be greyed out. Also agree with another post about the hint option location, would be better if it was easier to use if visable.

Occupies down time. One issue I noticed is I fairly steadily progressed from winning 20% of games to 30% - over about a 6 month time. However, after I hit 30% it has become more or less impossible (maybe 10%) to win. This makes no sense if the “shuffles” are completely random without any further “nits” built into the program. If I continue to be stuck at 30% then there is no point in continuing with the game, especially since there are so many annoying ads one has to look at.

Branium. Right now you’ve gone down in ratings with me because of all the game advertisements that take up too much time to click out of! Now you’ve made them a double click process to exit, dirty trick! Not happy, stop it or I’ll go away! Lots of other solitaire games to play! I don’t mind an advertisement once in awhile, the reality is I know that’s how you make it work for you.$$$$ That being said you’ve really kicked it up in the last two plus weeks and now it’s just really annoying.

How not to mute a game. I think I need to take the time to explain what “mute” means as it appears your definition and mine are different. I take it as “not emitting or having sound of any kind”. I fully understand the need for adds for a free game however when I “mute” the adds, I truly expect no sounds from them however that is not the case with your app. Your solution the last time I complained about this was to let you if I saw the offending add. Here is another item that you might find handy: quality assurance (QA) is a way of preventing mistakes and defects in manufacturing and avoiding problems when delivering products or service to customers. A little QA on your part could certainly improve your product.

My favorite solitaire game. This is easily my favorite version of the solitaire game on iOS. Compatible with iPhone and iPad, it looks good, plates well, and you can completely get rid of ads with a single, one time purchase. The only thing I can really criticize is that is a little too eager to turn a tap into a drag gesture instead, it makes it a bit annoying when going to tap a car just for the menu bar along the bottom of the game to slide up.

There are games you can’t win. works fine. However, you run into games that are literally impossible to win due to the card order. I guess this happens due to the randomized nature of the card sort. But I wish there was a way to not have these games count against your statistics. Like if you know exactly what card is keeping you from winning, being able to flag or submit some kind of check or review. Then if your correct nullify the game. Maybe this idea is wishful but I still think there is a way to take impossible setups out the game

Love except for the ad "bug". Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but some ads I can't seem to close out of? I hit the 'x' and get no response after many tries. That is highly annoying because I can't pull up a new game until making several attempts to close the ads. I try to close and re-open the app, and it doesn't always help because it brings up the ad again after getting my previous hand again that I lost and asking for a new deal. Would be awesome without the ad bug!!

Mind Challenging. What I love about this game are the “do overs”! The best games are the ones you had to do over and over to get them right - these kinds of wins pack so much more satisfaction! There are options to “undo” a recent move and also to find out how much time you spent on each game. Your winning percentage is charted for your information but I would like to know how many “Redos” it took to achieve one tough win. Rewarding persistence is more important than number of wins. A great pastime!

Classic, Relaxing Solitaire. After sifting through a lot of the other solitaire games in the marketplace, this is my favorite one. All the others that I played keep dealing you losing hands, it’s like every single hand eventually puts you in a place where you have no more moves to play. But this one doesn’t do that. Oh and it also doesn’t make you sit through countless ads after every single game. I don’t even think I’ve seen one ad yet. By far my favorite!

Solitaire by Branium. My only question is that I am not satisfied with the answer I received from one of your staff some months ago. I usually win about 85 % of the games I play. Each time I get to 86% or so the games become either much more difficult or are in fact not winnable. I still think you should run the games on a computer and eliminate those that are not winnable. That way we at least know that we can win if we keep trying. Otherwise you have a great game that wastes a lot of time

Ad keeps reappearing and locks up phone. Enjoy playing solitaire but they refuse to remove Nationwide Consultants ad that won’t allow me to exit from and locks up game. Also same company CPA consultant ad appears also. I don’t mind the ads and have ordered from a couple of them. I contacted their support with no luck to remove this ad that I am not interested in and does not allow me to x off of it. Locks up my games and have to restart my phone. This is very annoying.

Darn Good. I’ve had tons of fun playing this game. The design of the cards is the best out there - clean and easy to read. One thing - after several months, a few weeks ago the game play overnight became much more difficult. Suddenly instead of winning 3 out of 4 games, I was only winning 2 or 1 out of 4. It was a very obvious change. Is the game programmed to become increasingly difficult? This makes me thing of a great improvement that could be made ... have a slider in the settings which could be used to increase or decrease the difficulty on a sliding scale. That would be awesome.

Tried and True. This app has been with me ever since I first began playing games on my devices. It has never crashed or disappointed me, nor have there been updates that ruined the fun of playing. I can always count on Solitaire and Brainium...very little advertising, and I can play offline! That’s the main reason I keep this dependable app near my side—every vacation, on work trips, leisure time, and bedtime. Don’t change this app. Love it!

Too many Advertisements AND $13?!?!. The game itself works great, but in between each hand you get multiple forced ads. Not only that, but they play ads with sounds very loudly which is a first for me...so I went to purchase the app as I said the program worked well, but they want $12 for this!!!! That’s friggin crazy, aren’t apps a few dollars at most? I just bought a cribbage app and it was $3....total ripoff and I’m deleting and downloading another app right now. Edit: Since writing this I gave them another shot...I have played probably 15 games without a win where before writing the review I would get a win every couple games but I am on almost a 20 game losing streak now...I’m sure it has nothing to do with me leaving a bad review.

If I could buy it I would rate it a 5. But instead I have to see and skip ads for games I will never buy. Update: Not sure when I first wrote this review but I feel the same way today. I've never bought one of the games they interrupt you with. I forgot that I’d written essentially two reviews. I laughed when I read the above because I was going to write the same thing again. People! Almost everything you put up I try to close as fast as I can. Let me pay for this instead of dodging your ads.

Cool. Solitaire is the coolest game I have ever played it makes your brain work while on a device but for children I’m might be a little challenging and children might get a little frustrated and that is not good. But all in all solitaire is a god game for ages 12-90 if you live that long. So if your interested in making your brain hurt and make your kids mad at you then go ahead get solitaire, I’m just kidding if you want your kids to think over the summer without a pen or pencil than you should go get solitaire. And that is my review about the wonderful game solitaire.

I would have given it 5 stars, but .............. The cards move so slow when you win! I do like to play. It is relaxing and I can still have a conversation with someone should they wonder by. I had a game once & when you won the cards world break like glass and make a tinkling sound. It was cute. I don’t mind the ads so much except when they won’t let you leave. They make the “ X “ really small in the corner most of the time, but sometimes they just take you to a site or they worm their way in to your private area and I don’t like that at all. Thank You....Hogan Hatcher

One of the better solitaire games. I like the physical characteristics of this game, especially the fact that you can make the cards big and plain. I like the fact that you can vary the challenge level, as you can in most games and that you don't have to reset that after every game, as you do with some. I would like it better if it showed when there are no more options to play within a game (as some do) and would like to see a "best" for time and number of cards played after each winning hand (as some do).

Deceptive advertising. As of 21MAY2019 I'm removing Solitaire from my iPad. Why? I'll play a hand and a game advert pops up with a countdown timer starting at 5. Only, it takes 24 seconds to get to 1 where the "X" to close appears. Touch it, another 25 seconds elapse till it closes. I played 5 hands with the same advert coming up. BRAINIUM, if you want to retain users keep it at 15 seconds and let the close button work the first time. Better yet, use a close button only. Maybe I'll be back if this changes.

I love it!. This game is perfect for anyone who just wants to play, I love how you can customize the background and the cards with any photo you have on your camera roll, or any of their options they have provided for you, you can also add challenges like how many decks of cards or how many cards you draw, and if you want to play where you can only go through the cards once, which make the game addicting, I definitely recommend!

Pretty good. I’m very happy with the game overall, I think it’s a very well made game but the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel there should be an option to look at the amount of times you lost. When you play it and you don’t have any possible moves left and you click help it just has you doing pointless things that get irritating fairly quickly. I recommend that when you runout of all possible moves that it tells you so your not wasting your time. Other than not putting loses I feel the game is pretty good.

Give up and move on ?. I don’t know if it’s a pro or con , but some solitaire apps stop the gam when there are no more possible moves or solutions so it saves you time and you move on. But this app leaves you keep trying and trying. I spent 3 days trying to finish a game and i have tried all possible solutions as well as using hints, I realized that i should stop when the hints were useless and there was nothing more to do. I actually don’t know if that is a waste of time, but sometimes i feel it’s good to push us beyond our thinking limits.
