Love it.. This is a wonderfully fun app. Good for the mind.

Great app. I used it to adjust frequency response of my home heather room's subwoofer. Went in steps from 20 to 200hz and used a sound pressure level meter. Great and easy to use.

Great for relaxation and studying. I use this app to play tones to drown out distracting sounds while I study. I would love for this app to be able to continue playing when the iPhone is locked or while using other apps, but it’s not a big deal that it doesn’t. My personal favorite “recipe” right now is 44.5Hz, 44.6Hz, 88.6Hz, 177.2Hz, and 223.3Hz all on together. Very relaxing!

Good app but.... This is a great app, but the sound tones turn off when my phone hibernates which makes this app useless, please update this app so that the app stays active when the phone sleeps, I'll give this app 5 stars if that change is made

Good, except.... You should be able to just type in the frequency you want instead going through the "plus/minus 10hz" or "plus/minus .1hz" hassle to achieve your desired frequency. Also, I want this to continue to play the tone(s) even if my phone goes into sleep mode.

Did not work with my phone. As I go up the scale, tones are all over the place. Tried through the phone speaker and Bluetooth with the same result

Simple and Easy to use. You want to play tones? Done. You want to compare frequencies of multiple tones, or sine to square to triangle? Done. You want to play the 1812 Overture? Well go take lessons.

Great Program. I use this program to practice my intonation during scales. Easy to use, although I agree that adding a +/- 100 would be useful.

Very fine. Great interface, great concept and great price. I would love to see the ability to save multiple sets, save up to 24 pitches per set ( not necessarily all playable simultaneously), and the ability to set the pitch as a ratio of the starting pitch. I.e D as 9/8 of the pitch of C). As it is this can be a great help to learning just intonation.

Very good app but.... If you could update it so that you could have continuous play while other apps are playing as well. That would Change the app to 5 stars for me

Great app!. It's the only tone generator app that I found that does what I needed to do. It's really simple and it works great.

Works great. I wondered what the 60 Hz electrical hum would sound like in UK, so I downloaded this and easily entered 60 Hz & 50 Hz for comparison. Next I mucked with US & UK dial tones, ringback tones, etc. (One improvement could be to link multiple frequencies together so they can be turned on & off together, and (this one's harder) possibly on/off cadences. Also, I quickly filled up the 12 entries, but I just deleted unneeded ones.)

One major flaw. I want the tone to continue when the phone turns off but the tone stops so the app is kind of useless for my purposes.

Pretty darn good. Square wave is a bit dirty on scope. And I would love to have a +/- 100 option. Getting to 1khz takes forever

Sweet. Let's you make tones. Simple concept and fun to annoy younger people who can hear the higher tones. Also make familiar tones like the old bad ground 60hz hum.

Total control. It's the only app out there that will allow you to make as many single frequency queues as you want. Its all very simple and easy to use. I would suggest as a feature or addition, to have a direct input box for the frequency entry instead of clicking on the "+" and "-" sign. And, how about a timer for each of the frequency queue. How about an iPad version! Lol, at this point you might as well call it "Tone Generator Pro". Hey, don't take it the wrong way, I like the app as it is already.

Great Product. I use this as temporary input into an equalizer that then goes into a Stennheiser wireless transmitter/receiver that I use for listening to my TV. I go through each of the frequency settings on the equalizer balancing out the sound volume to match my hearing.

Nice, but needs slight adjusting. I love saving tones, but I'd also love to label them. Give themselves name. I'd also love for the tone to keep generating once the phone screen goes black so we can have a tone for a extended time. Thankyou! I have more ideas if you'd like to hear them, email me

Great. Interesting to use to study differences between just & equal temper tuning

Awesome. I use this to test chromatic tuners. Works perfectly. Also fun to test my hearing and annoy friends.

Tunes anything. I can tune my violin and I can tone my violin plates in helping me make better violins.

Does what it says.. Would be five stars if it were easier and faster to get to tones that are far apart. Either adding +1000, +100 and +1 buttons would help or I would really like to see a way to type in a frequency rather than having to push the .1 button a ton of times to get what I need.

Does everything I could want. Apparently there's a very small consumer base for wave generator apps, so I won't nitpick here. For all of your sine, saw, and triable wave needs, this app has you covered.

Exactly what I was looking for.... I'm an experimental musician that was looking for a small tone generator in which to produce pure sine waves with adjustable frequencies. I also needed a unit that could play more than one wave at a time. This app did the trick (and you can't beat the 99 cent price). The only downfall is that there are other apps that allow much higher highs and much lower subs (none that I've found that can play multiple tones simultaneously, however). Definitely worth the money.

Worth it. Very simple and easy to use. All I can suggest to the developer is to include a sawtooth generator and a way to rapidly enter a custom frequency for a given generator.

App does what it was made for. It just works. Ain't fancy but a nice introduction to audio.
