Doesn’t work when you type address in. This program used to work when I put new addresses in every time. Then it stopped working in the evening and now it never works unless you are in front of the property.

App No longer opens. The app worked great for the longest time. Ever since August I have not been able to open the app it just force quits

Neat. Really like this app, works flawlessly and is great tool when you don't have time to visit and measure job sites.

Crashes all the time.. After downloading the “pro” version I quickly realized this is not made for professionals. If you remove placed pin for measuring distance the app force closes and refuses to re-open. Resetting the phone does nothing. The only way to resolve the issue is by deleting the app and re downloading. If I knew if a different app for gps measurements I would strongly recommend using that instead of this. This has been the 7th or 8th time I had to reinstall the app since I purchased it two weeks ago.

Continuously crashes. Originally was a great app but now it crashes 90% of the time as soon as you open it. I’d recommend sticking with the free version or trying something different unless they’re able to fix the issues.

Poor Customer Service. The app has a glitch that will not allow it to run on my phone. This is making it very hard to conduct job scopes for my business. I have been trying to reach out to customer service by email (multiple attempts) and they are non responsive.

No longer works. Used to work great. Now it won’t open unless I reinstall, then only works until I close it out. Cannot reopen app without deleting and reinstalling. Really would like my money back

Live GPS area measuring is useless. It always fails at any irregular shapes, and fails half the time for simple shapes like a rectangle. Also it uses location all the time even when. It doing anything in the app. It stayed in for three days.

App won’t open. Ever since the new IOS 17 the app will not open I used this regularly for hunting now I got to find a new app that will work

Terrible crash issues. I give this 0 stars as it crashes when you are really into things and then you can never reopen the maps you were working. Wish I could get my money back!!!!

One of the best. This app is very useful, but would be great if you could zoom in more at least twice. Heading would be nice to.

Fail. It fails every time I try to search an address/location. Won’t even let me finish typing. I would like a refund. This does not work. If it would stop crashing it seems like a very useful app.

Can not access. The last 3 months I am not able to get information on a home, the app says “can’t get information at this time” “Try again later” This is happening about 60% of the time, what good is this app if I can’t use it!! Not happy!!!

Planimeter Pro: A Great Little Program. Planimeter Pro is a great program. It does exactly what it claims to do, measure distances and areas. Even better, it does it with ease and provides a great deal of flexibility and customization. Very intuitive with almost no learning curve. I am a real estate appraiser. Every appraiser should have this app as part of their toolkit.

Excellent App. My previous measurement app wouldn’t work with the new update so I bought this one. Measures paths differently but works really well. I haven’t tried the other features yet but I can already tell this is a great choice

Doesn’t open. Opened app one time and after that it doesn’t open on an Apple 6s plus. Would like a credit for what I paid for.

Search feature not working. The search feature that allows you to type in an address does not work.

Lived app but not working now. Just updated IOS for my IPhone. Planimeter pro no longer opens or runs. Needs to be updated. Loved this app before this. It’s a shame.

System Crashes. The application does not work with the last iPad update. I haven’t been able to open it for the last 2 months.

No updates in 3 years? Not compatible with iOS 17. We purchased nearly 30 licenses for our field sales team, previously it worked well but a couple of years ago the google map search started crashing. We used a work around, searched using the native map app, started a measurement & then switched to google maps which allows a much closer view. Now, the app crashes immediately upon opening (after the initial use). Don’t waste your money on this until they update it.

No longer works. It was a great product. No longer works . Must not be compatible with iOS updates. Can we fix this? I bought the paid full version and can no longer use.

Use it a lot. I use it to determine mileage for potential runs/rides. Easy to use and addictive.

Too many problems with this app. It glitches, you can’t search without it crashing, you can’t paste without it crashing, you can’t do anything without it just crashing on you. Problems haven’t been fixed and it’s been a year since I purchased the app.

No longer works. I used to love this app on my old iPhone, but I just got a new iPhone 13 (IOS 17.1.2) now it crashes after every use. Only way to use it is to delete & reinstall every time it’ll never reopen.

Near perfect. Very well thought out. Great design. I use it way more than I thought I would.

Planometer. ( Update as of April update it works great again! Thanks Planimeter!) have a lawn spray company and it saves a lot of time measuring sq. footage.

New Update- keeps CRASHING!!. I’ve used this app over a year when I purchased it. It was awesome and accurate. But, now with the recent new update it has failed time and time again. Once it crashes the app will not stay open. Only way to make it work again is to reinstall it... BIG MISTAKE!! I’ve lost all my records!!!! Developers please resolve issues and make it a great app again!!!

Getting kicked off. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app when ever I want to use it.

Will not open from home page. I have had and used this app for a few years. Recently apple has done some updates as usual and this app will not open from the home page. You have to uninstall the app go back into the App Store reinstall the app and open it there. You have to do this every time you want to use the app. I have talked to apple and they said it is up to the app designer to fix the problem.

Can’t rename parcels. I really liked the app until the update8.0 and now it always reverts from acres to km, and the rename the parcels is gone. Was very easy to use before the upgrade.

Glitch constantly. Every time I go to enter the address it just closes the screen down. Really annoying.

No longer works. This app worked great for a long time now all of a sudden every time I try and do a search it crashes. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and it still doesn’t work

Awesome. This is a really good app for me because of what I do. I drive a spreader truck and knowing how many acres there is helps out a lot. I use this app just about every day and it was cheap to get I really do like this app thank you for this app

Great, but…. I use this app for measuring properties for Fire Ant services. I love everything about this app except for one thing. Lately, in the Google Maps setting, I cannot type addresses in. I can only use GPS location. I prefer GMaps in this app because it lets me zoom in closer than the Apple Maps setting.

Great Fun!!!. Great Fun!!! and functional . Not bad for a "FREEEE" App! If the wife says too far to walk while on holidays you can at least show how far it is "Really!!" and show a more realistic view of how far it is without guessing. Looks as though the App is using "Google Maps" so is hungry for power and looks as though it is not an "Off-line" App. So if in a Wifi spot OK but be careful about upload/download charges while traveling. Grab it while it is still free!!

Not accurate. Love this idea of this app and its easy use however the results for perimeter are way off!

Keyboard problem. Does anyone have a problem or not? But I do have a problem the keyboard all way disappear every time I press search for address. Can anyone please help me?

Good when it doesn’t drop out. I like this app but it continuously drops out when your typing in an address. It’s as though it can’t connect with its server. Please sort this out or at least reply to my concern. I have emailed support but no reply. Happy to give 5 star rating if this is fixed

Use to be good.... But ever since it has moved from google maps to apple maps its ordinary as you can only zoom in to a certain point which isn't close enough.

Excellent tool for planning and drawing scale plans. I use it all the time for working out the area of paddocks, distances of fence lines and dimensions of the farm to draw scale plans for planning.

not working. Not working on google map

Great app for fertilizer. Very handy for measuring smaller fields for fertilizer and seed amounts .

This is just a ripoff of another app.... ... with almost the same name. Why does Apple allow this? I thought at first my app had been updated, but no, someone else absconded with its name with an inferior app!

Makes life so much easier. Owning a farm and having to plan out pastures is a lot easier when my having to actual measure and calculate. A nice visual presence makes it easier for me to plan and knowing the size of each acreage. Very easy to use

Was great. Worked fine until I upgraded to IOS 11. It cannot share anymore as it did in previous IOS versions.

Planimeter. Very useful app. Friendly interface. I use this quite often. I like the fact that waypoints can be pinned to mark changes in direction while walking or bike riding.

crashed for good. as i built a path to measure distance and then sequentially deleted all the points, the app crashed on me upon deleting the last remaining point... and now it doesnt execute at all... just pops closed whenever intru to launch it

Bobente. Another Awesome! Doesn't like walk path routes. Solved by using Waypoints markers. Could use a little more instruction on how to make continuos tracking on city paths.

Outstanding!. I have been using Planimeter Pro since I got my first iPad, in iOS terms since Moses was in short pants. It has never failed me, and as a professional navigator I know whereof I speak. I have done everything from measure the footprint size of my ancient ancestor's castle in Northern Ireland (Shane the Proud's castle by the side of Lough Neigh) to the size of my lot in Kanata Ontario. It is easy to use and an amazing help to my peculiar curiosity. Highly recommended!

Very Exact. Have a number of apps similar but this is the most accurate. With a little practice and skill you can get down to the the inches. Crosshairs method a good idea and ability to go back and correct or adjust is a bonus.

Way to go!. I've tried several property measuring apps. This is easy, the accuracy is much better, and fun to use.

Address search broken. Address search not working in US. You can map current location but not useful without search. Other features work so 5s if you fix it

Accuracy?. I was really intrigued by this. Cool idea. Not convinced of accuracy though. I tested it out by measuring the distance from my house to work using the path method with just one turn. I got a variance of several hundred meters/quarter mile. I expected maybe 50 to 100 meters variance at the most.

Kris R. I measure fences all the time and I always have to wait till I get back to the office to use google earth in order to measure them. But with this app I can measure them instantly out in the field on my iPhone or iPad. Best $3 I've spent EVER!!!

Good but.... It is good, but it could be great if the lines "snapped to" the roads. It is very annoying that you basically have to trace every corner of the road.

App. App keeps closing like if got glitch

Outstanding!. This is one of the few applications I've found that can superimpose a radius/circle onto a map. Maybe with future updates, we can superimpose an arc, have the ability to manually insert geographical coordinates, and allow the ability to use different map sources, like aeronautical charts, etc.

Do your own survey. Finally found an app to map a survey! Using google or Apple maps and property coordinate data (usually available from city or county records), one can get an exact picture of their lot at the time the map was updated. This allows one to basically obtain a survey using this app. Using "measure area", place pins at approximate lot coordinate points to define lot and then move pins to proper values (move pin by holding down on pin until it allows you to adjust position - tap pin to display coord). I know this is a pain for now, but I have been assured that next update will include just entering pin coord to place pins. "Measure area" will give exact lot outline. To get locations of objects on lot, use "measure path". Would like to give it 4.9 stars until you can place pins by just entering coord, but what the he--, 5.0.

Old version better. The old version was way better. The new version doesn't measure in feet or miles it measures in only yards. The new version is harder to drag the pins where you want them the old way with the arrows was better.

Great measuring app. Excellent measuring tool, however the address search feature using Google maps does not seem to work. Searching with Apple maps works fine, but the resolution isn't as good and won't zoom as far in as Google maps. Please fix!!

Unstable and full of errors.. I loved the old version but this version is full of errors and crashes every time I try to use it. Hopefully they will make the necessary fixes and it will be as useful as the previous version.

It's great!. Use it all the time, the support is always quick to respond. Can't say enough good things about this app. They are always making upgrades that only means it gets easier to use.

An idea. You guys should add support for pictures. For example: you take a picture of something and it tells you the area or perimeter. It'd be great. Oh and add inches as well.

Very accurate. It is very useful and so accurate! I tested with my land with title deed size and this apps size almost same! I think it's a little different is because this online map and its zoom level cannot be as exactly as we we manually walk around using gps system. But this is really great and could say as the very accurate apps. I love it

Farm works. Extremely useful app especially in the third world where expert or professional services are scarce.

Easy to use. This app is just what I needed. I had previously used distance calculator app, but that was hard to add points. This map measure app is so easy to use. Just tap and add pin points. Also, much easier to change units of measure in this app than others.

Poor. Won’t load at all.

Beats walking 1000 feet. I use this since I have to daily log the work I do on the field. This app makes it easier to measure than walking the whole area. All I do is sit back, track my location and measure the approximate area.

Useful. My quibble is not being able to rename saved options.

Amazing & Unique App. This a very cool app because you can measure any distance on any map including Google maps or Apple Maps, which shows property boundary lines. Clean UI, tons of options, including saving your image map to your camera roll or emailing it. You'll realize you can measure any dimension or distance. I'm using this app more than I thought I would when I first tried it out. You'll love it.

Superb app. I use it constantly for my iPhone Munzee geocache app... Measuring areas distances etc... I have an iPhone 4s most current iOS and no problems.

Planimeter not good after update. After recent update most functionality gone. Wish I hadn't updated.

Nice app!. Does exactly what it says it does, no frills. The only issue I have had is if it shows my location I cant place a point at my location. It would be nice if it had a follow function where it places points or a path walked (or driven) based on your gps location. Overall though a very good app. Especially the email function!

Good for estimates. Latest version is easy to use. I can quickly get the square footage of a lawn for fertilizer applications.

First class map app. This is an exceptional distance calculator map. It's system of waypoints works very well, is adjustable and flexible. I have not attempted real precision, but it looks like it will serve that purpose as well. As a GIS professional, I appreciate the flexibility- choice of base maps, good labeling at every zoom level. Zhang has been doing an excellent job of improving and evolving the app. Really excellent work.

Needs improvement!. The product does what is says, but it needs improvements! Geo Measure does a better job when comes to setting and realigning points to be measured. With Map Measure you can not realign points unless you undo the set point(s). This should be corrected. Thanks, only 3 Stars for now!

Works great.. The app does exactly what I required. It was very easy to use. I was very pleased and satisfied. Great work.

Good application. Determining the area of selected points is accurate but but dragging the arrows to the exact points is at times problematic.

Good app. Made parts of my job easier

Search function doesn't work anymore. Latest update killed the search function. Program can still be used by pinch and zoom. The first time you open this app there is a simple tutorial overlay but after that you're on your own.

Support of scholarship. It is truly wonderful what entrepreneurs do! This program on top of the map program is magnificent. I use it to support historical and natural history reading. The ability to see the ground and/or the political boundaries without having fingers in the book is magical. The shortfalls in search are minimized by shrinking the image till the general location is in view. Then expand as needed! I measure ships and boats in the Suez Canal and continental scaled features. Does the program measure great circle distances? Wonderful! Desiderata: geographic locations, degrees and minutes for designated points. GPS makes this the lingua franca now. Second, as a long term objective, the ability to present features on common layers as in Geographic Information Systems would be really neat! It would allow removing the highway grid to see what the ground looked like in 1944, 1776 or even 1066. Even highlighting the hydro layer to better understand the relief might be possible.

One of the best ones. One of the best Apps to measure distances. A suggestion for a few fixes and changes. Landscape mode does not look right. If you want to radically change the pisition of a marker, instead of high precision arrows, a hold on top and drag somewhere quickly would be MUCH faster. Perhaps change from area to distance by tapping on the area or distance tag at the top of screen instead of via menu. Allow for interpolated over-zooming in the map, even if map gets a little blurry. When I manually nudge a position at current max zoom, it moves by over 1m, that can mean a large error down the road. By allowing over-zoom we could nudge the corners or positions down to a sub foot level. Great App!

Farmland. This app is accurate and very useful for field work in agriculture. I use it to estimate time seed, fertilizer, etc. it always puts me right on.

For training. Very useful for measuring out running and biking routes.
