Red Clock?. I love the old Red Clock I have on my original iPad. The red screen is RED with a nighttime of Black with RED numbers. I want that old red on my new red iPhone 8 and my red charging pad. Can you give us an update with that option? After all, you are Red Clock and that’s what we love.

Pleasant and customizable. I sometimes want to leave my iPhone or iPad in sight to use as a clock while I’m doing something else. Finding a suitable app for this is surprisingly difficult. Some don’t offer the choice of an analog clock, some look blurry on newer iPads, and some insist on showing you ads. This app seems to check all the boxes. It’s got nice themes, an assortment of customizations for the analog display, and an optional weather and date bar. You can choose to hide or show seconds in the digital display. Theoretically, you can also turn the second hand on and off for the analog display—but the toggle seems to be broken, haha. The second hand doesn’t go away even if you turn it off. I usually want it enabled anyway, so this isn’t a big deal to me.

Excellent clock. This update fixed a design flaw from a prior update in which the landscape numbers became too small. With that repair, Red Clock remains the most beautiful digital clock that I've found, and the $1.99 for the analog kit was fine since that's attractive as well. As an aside, I use use app strictly for a clock and not as an alarm, by my choice and not related to the app.

What happened!!. This alarm had been fantastic up until the last week. Suddenly, the alarm no longer works when the phone is locked. This had happened in the past after an update but was fixed. no one can rely on an alarm app that does not work in a regular basis. prior to this issue this week, this was the only alarm i used Please fix this!!!

Almost perfect, no custom alarm sounds.... Not sure why a full featured alarm clock app wouldn't have an option for adding your own music or sounds for your alarm. Disappointed I bought this. Developer seems MIA, no updates for over a year. Please respond if you have any updates. Hello? Anybody out there?

Clean clock with flash alarm. I like the simple design of the clock. The flashing light for alarm is a nice touch in case the sound isn't enough to get you up. 👍

Need help with alarm on iPad Pro -update. Tried emailing support - so using this route - testing an alarm on iPad Pro - set up a time and the alarm icon shows up for about 5 seconds and then disappears and the alarm does not go off - have the sound up as high as it goes but no alarm. Do not get battery status even though it is turned on Please help - will certainly change the rating once this gets figured out - like the lay out for it simplicity - only suggestion is to put the weather info on the top not the bottom or at least have the option. Works ok on the iPhone - shows alarm and battery status and alarm goes off - not sure why it is different on the iPad

Almost perfect for me. I really like the simplicity and clarity of this clock. I enjoy how it will automatically switch to night mode based on the ambient light. I don’t use the alarm function, but it seems more than adequate- how many different sounds does one need anyway? My only complaint, keeping me at 4 stars rather than 5, is the info bar at the bottom of the screen. The numbers are too small for me to read without my glasses. I’d be happier with just the current temperature with a larger font size or maybe the current and the days high/low forecast. I like the different themes- I wish there was a way to preview the optional themes. Even full size screen shots on the developer website would be appreciated. If you’re not sure if you will like this app, take the free version for a spin. The ads do clutter the screen, but it helped me evaluate Red Clock. Having no ads is totally worth the purchase price.

I love the big numbers .. I like that it displays weather, time, date & day of the week in letters & numbers big enough I can read with out my glasses. The alarm works in the background. I like the color choices and use it above my other alarm clock apps. It's the perfect amount of light in an unfamiliar place (hotels or guest rooms) and displays you weather as well. * You MUST have your phone plugged in, or it will kill your battery.

Handsome & easy to use. Wish I was able to use iTunes for alarm. This option is available on many other alarm apps. Otherwise very nice. Easy to use and has never failed me.

Great app!!. Great app for bedside table. You can add multiple alarms and for a few bucks more you can add different clock faces. Also, it has the combination of time and weather so it's great to check that instantly when I wake up. Well worth it and better than other clock apps.

Simple, straightforward, does what it says. Love that at one, uncluttered and easy to read glance I get the time, day, date, and current weather including the temp. Also love that night mode toggles with a double click. As an added benefit, on an iPad at 2x it remains crisp. One caveat, the settings button only appears in portrait mode, so if you are used to using landscape and want to change the background to a softer color, you need to go to portrait first. Doesn't have the bells and whistles of multiple alarms, choosing your own sound or seeing the time in 5 countries simultaneously but after playing with a number of other clocks, this is my go-to morning clock.

Weather Information Is Lousy. Lots of apps have clocks. I wanted one that gave the current weather conditions. Unfortunately, this one does a poor job. I’m a meteorologist and I can’t find a matching observation anywhere. Doesn’t do me any good if the skies have been clear for hours and your weather says “Light Rain.” Glad I didn’t pay for this app.

Needs update! 🤬. This developer seems to have abandon this app which is sad. Apple really should force apps out that haven’t been updated in 2 years. Weather info is incorrect! One of the reasons I gave this app a try was weather info. The customizations that apparently used to be separate in-app purchases don’t seem to work after “restored”. The date in the info bar is non standard for the US. I don’t even know what it means to be honest. It is therefore distracting and can’t be turned off. Some choice of type face would be nice.

Not reliable anymore. I have been using this app for a while and it has been very reliable however for the past few days it has not worked I have set the alarm every day but it doesn't ring Urg!!!!

Almost perfect😍. Very well thought out, and very easy to use! Uncluttered and beautiful in minimalist fashion. The only drawback is that I'm not a fan of the tone/music selection for alarms; I love non-abrasive alarms, and the handful of choices start abruptly for the most part. Otherwise, a fantastic alarm app, the standard alarm doesn't even stand a chance

I really like and more importantly trust this alarm. It has a slightly steeper learning curve than most alarms but worth it once you give it a few days. I go to bed with confidence after a month of using the app there will be no mishaps both user or program. I also really like the look and vibe of the alarm. Nighttime and morning is all about good mojo and this app has that feel. Minor annoyance, I would like the night feature to dim. Every night I have to manually turn down because the default is too bright.

The best time clock and alarm that I've ever had. The clock is reliable it's easy to select the alarm sound that you wish and you can have recurring circumstances that you can then turn on or off as well as one time hits it's a great app

Best bedside weather clock. I’ve used this app for years and tried others but always end up back here. Only objection is the bottom info bar font is too small and the auto nighttime mode seems not to function on my iPhone XR. Highly recommend and pay for ads free.

Nifty, simple, & useful. The best compliment I can pay to an app is to say that it’s very nifty and easy to use. It’s also nicely designed. Has a everything I need from a clock/weather app. Im also using it on an old device, which many apps won’t work on. I was lucky to find this app.

Background changes color is annoying!!. Why does the background change overnight? I set it for one color and overnight it changes to a light color with a font that’s impossible to read. This is beyond frustrating as it used to work perfect and is now useless.

Close, but not quite. Have been in the hunt for an app that will let me turn my old iPhone 6 into a clock with temp. This is so close - designs are nice - but in landscape mode you lose the weather graphic and only have the tiny status bar for weather. If there were a landscape view that allowed you to see the temp from a few feet away this would be perfect.

Need more alarm options. I love the app, but more alarm sound options are needed. I prefer my own music but if we can't get that, can we at least get some more alarm sound options? The current ones are either rehashes of every other alarm clock sound out there, or simply too 'plucky and happy' for my taste. Also, most of these are too similar with each other as well. Would love to hear from the developers on this issue.

Good app, but needs more alarm options and support nonexistent. Needs the ability to change alarm volume and choose the “fade in” interval. I’m getting an alarm with an unchangeable volume going from soft to annoying in 5 seconds. Contacted support, but have heard nothing for weeks.

Finally. Functional, Reliable, Elegant. IOS alarm became unreliable out of the blue and I needed a solution. Went through several apps till I found this...

KISS. Keep It Simple Stupid is my take on a minimalist clock. This ended up being a perfect replacement for the “Nightstand” app I used for many years. Even my wife downloaded the app.

Not Bad. I’ve become an alarm clock connoisseur and this one is almost perfect. It is in need of three things: 1) the ability to dim the screen (in addition to “turning off the light”). 2) the ability to change the color of the text. White as the only option is too bright. I like a dark, light free bedroom. 3) the option to select a soothing, quiet alarm. I’m a light sleeper and don’t need something loud.

Looks great. Works well. Needs forecast.. At first I thought I might've missed something, an option or setting -but no, it's only meant to show the current weather. Sure would be nice to know the day's forecast when I wake up. Update: 2 years later and still no forecast.

Great clock. I love this clock. It is so easy to use clear to see in the night and the alarm works great. It is my favorite alarm clock.

Worked ok for a year, no longer making alarm sound. App was fine for a while... only annoying feature was that the alarm volume in the app was tied to the iPhone's sound volume control instead of the ringer control, so adjusting the volume level with the iPhone's volume buttons when inside the app did not affect the volume level of the app's alarm sounds. I was willing to live with that because I liked the simple look of the app. However, since a few days ago, I could not get any alarm sound from the app at all on my iPhone 6... not sure what the developer did i the latest update that broke this app, but I've been forced to switch to a more reliable alarm clock app.

Well done!. This app does the job! Simple and beautiful, just what I was looking for. UPDATE: Since most iPads/iPhones use OLED screens. I wish the developer would add a feature to help prevent screen burn in. I want to use this app more often but I’m afraid of burn-in on my iPad Pro.

Nice but one bug. Quite a nice app. However the DATE info is not working properly. Today is Saturday June 18 but it shows “7, June 18” where the “7” is the day of week. Other than that, works nicely.

No color change option.. Please make font color change option in next update. It's important for night mode.

Great App with only one glitch. I love this alarm and its simplicity. Being able to customize the look of my own clock is a welcome change from other alarm apps. The only glitch I've found is not being able to hear the alarm when the phone ringer is turned off.

Wish they would fix the bug affecting the sound. I absolutely love(d) this alarm clock. It worked really well at first and then all of the alarm tones stopped working. Neither deleting and downloading the app again or rebooting my phone fixed the bug. The developer did let me know via email (within 24 hrs) that it was probably a bug, but to date it has yet to be fixed. If fixed I will gladly use the app again, but for now I’m going to search for a replacement. iPhone X

OK w/ room to improve. I love the look and feel and love all the customizations, but the auto night mode does not work on my iPad and the weather info is often missing and the only way to get it back is to restart the app.

Fix automatic switching to/from night mode!. This is the best iOS clock app I have so far found & it has a classy look. However, the feature I was most impressed with & thought was very clever is the apparent ability to automatically switch in & out of “Night Mode”. The night mode feature solves a nagging issue: at night the display needs to be dimmed & during the day bright to overcome light coming in from the widows. Manually switching between these modes works but the settings menu leads you to believe it can also do it automatically but so far it has never done it. Only manually switching works which is insufficient. Fix that & I’d give it 5 stars.

Indispensable!. This app rules in my home. As a timepiece it has no equal. The choice of color themes is varied enough to keep the screens interesting. My only concern is that the weather part of the app is a bit dodgy. It still gets top billing. FMJ

Beautiful APP that No longer works. I used to love this app but a few months ago, it stopped working. It has joined the plethora of dead apps that are useless. The latest IOS overrides 3rd party alarm settings. I've been waiting for a fix from the developers but nothing has happened and I need a functioning Alarm clock. I will delete Red Clock.

I like it, but..... I use it every morning using 2 alarms. The first is a more subtle sound so I wake up calmer. The second, 4 to 7 minutes later, is more obnoxious to ensure I get up. There's never a good time for an alarm to fail to go off and this alarm has never failed, unlike a bunch of other alarm apps I've tried. I only rate it 4 Stars because I really don't like any of the alarm sounds it has and wish it had more, but as stated before, it's dependable and that's the most important aspect for me. The other reason I only rated it 4 Stars is because I really wish it had more snooze time options, like two minutes, or three minutes. But if you want dependability and don't mind the alarm sounds that come with it, I can recommend this alarm app.

Finally! A click I can use!. I have looked off an on for over a decade to find a simple alarm clock. I kept on finding ones with bells and whistles which either cluttered the screen, too hard to change, drained the battery or plain just didn’t work. Then I found this one. Whew, one that is easy to use, edit and set. Thank you!

Great UI, but make sure it's active. I love the user interface but need to make sure the app is open and active or you will a minimal alert. If all is good, volume turned up things work well. But all these offer chances things are not going to do do well if you neglect to leave the app running and the volume turned up. I'd rather things a bit more, set it, goof proof.

Alarm doesn’t work!. Well, good thing I set an iPhone alarm as a back up because this apps alarms did not go off! I set two alarms in the morning, and neither one went off, I had to scramble around, getting ready for work, this was a complete waste of three dollars. And even on the night mode, it’s still too bright to have on at night, I had to have my phone face down. This app is hardly customizable, there aren’t even many choices for the alarm sounds, only eight and they aren’t good, but it doesn’t matter because they didn’t work anyway!

Almost perfect. Elegant, minimalistic. One feature missing and one bug prevent me from giving it 5 stars. Instead of the name of the day, the app shows the number of the day. 3 instead of Tuesday for example. One feature missing, I wish the app had bckground sounds to sleep.

More variety. I love this app. Clear, easy to read and straight forward. Though it is lacking in variety when it comes to alarm sounds. A fifth star would be given otherwise.

Nice app, needs features. I think this app is designed really well but I would be more inclined to use it if it included the option to play music as an alarm, and to fade in the alarm sound.

Clever except for alarms. Great features but there's no alarm sound when the ringer on my iPhone 5S is switched off. The Clock app that comes with the phone always sounds its alarm if that's what you've selected, as it should be.

Red Clock. The clock is accurate the colors are good but as for the weather mode I can keep setting it and start the clock as many times and locations as I like but flashes on and then is gone instantly I go back to settings and it has turned off again. VERY FRUSTRATING and disappointing. CAN THIS GLICH BE FIXED? You tell me.

Easy organisation for repeated alarms. Such an easy ap for repeated alarms .have been using it for years Would love to be able to change the calendar format and a few more sounds .. but really this ap makes it stay easy to stay organised. Love it

Null???. Battery bar doesn’t show up when selected. Also, the alarm doesn’t work. It just says null.

Clock app. Great display. Exactly what I need for night clock. Couldn’t get alarm clock to ever work on my iPhone X phone. I emailed company few times for help but no reply. I use my regular phone alarm instead for alarm and clock app for clock. Still happy with clock. GS

Best Display I've found. This is my go-to clock to get ready on time in the morning. I can see it clearly from across the room & especially from inside the shower. Also really like the weather & battery life features. I put on some tunes & bring this up & the motivation begins!

Good enough. Does what it's supposed to. Like the bigger font as I don't wear glasses to bed! One fault: I would really really like and adjustable snooze time over 5 minutes. Biggest fault: snooze and off buttons are so close together, I just know I'll sleep in someday in my waking stupor... Would like something that requires two steps in order to turn it off. If it had that, it'd be perfect for me!

Great nap app!. This works great. I stay in hotels lots with my job, and I always use this by my bed instead of the hotel alarm clock. I trust it more, and it's nice that I can turn down the brightness. Very useful.

Alarm no longer works. I love this app, have used it daily but since updating to the newest iOS 9, the alarm no longer works! By chance, I happen to wake up today. I rely on this app for the alarm- please fix this issue!

Thumbs up to wake up👍. Great app. My daughter loves turning on the app before bed so she can see the time and awake up to the alarm. I love how you can set different alarms and set it to certain days and it's on in ye background so if you do forget to display the app on your phone it will still wake you up when needed. Beautiful minimal clock!. I recently discovered my old iPhone 4 in a drawer and decided to try using it as my night table clock. This app has been fantastic as a minimal clean looking clock, and it gives you plenty of colour options. Night mode is perfect when you are going to bed. Swipe down and it turns it black and white and barely lights the room. If your looking for a simple elegant looking clock (with a nice weather feature) give this a try!

Good...but. Good design - but the alarm doesn't work when external speakers are plugged into the headphone jack. Not sure why this appears to be hard to fix or not important to the developer. 5 stars if the alarm worked.

No Alarm sound. There is no alarm sound when connected to my speaker cradle, this app should overide cradle control like other alarm apps. Both the iPad and cradle volume are at max but nothing comes out, only lighting changes and alarm message vibrates on screen. Good graphics and setup, maybe a little to bright for night view, could be dimmed more still...

Not my favorite. It's pretty good.. Just when the alarm goes off I can't snooze it when my iPads locked.....

Love it. I really like this clock. I just pull down the night view and put it on the dresser. I can see it from across the room even without my glasses on. I like the alarm feature although I don't use it very often. The weather information is concise but brief. Lately, I have not been able to enable the weather. I would rate it a full 5 if this can be fixed. Just the app I've been looking for my iPad and it was free!

Good but new update.... Great alarm clock app but my complacency to depend on the app as an alarm almost costed me to not wake up on time. After doing the recent update I luckily awoke to phone vibrating but had no sound at all and that was with volume on and maxed. Now I'm hesitant to depend on the app as an alarm

Override. My existing alarm clock app I have will override both the mute and the do not disturb functions of the iPhone. This one will not override the volume off setting, but it will override the do not disturb setting. Apples do not disturb works half the time, so I still turn off the volume by using the mute button - this morning for example, I received text message at 5 AM which would not have happened on the other app. And my alarm was not set for 5 AM it was set for later. :-/ Going back to the other app as I also can listen to a song from my iTunes library as a fade in wake up alarm. Fix this and it will be worth five stars. Without the ability to override these functions for the alarm it's almost unusable as it's not predictable.

The Best Clock App Ever. This is the only iPhone app I have ever purchased because it was the only one that can do what I needed— projects a clear and bright screen with minimal distractions. I use it in my office ( where there is no clock) and when I travel— hotels now never give you a clock in your room. It is the best!

Landscape. In landscape the banner text are too small. Get rid of the banner, so the clock can be even bigger. Then put date and weather above the clock, before am/ fm.

Doesn't make an alarm sound.. This app is cool. It doesn't work work while iPhone is on do not disturb. This is a major flaw of the app. Overall, it is a good app. Fix the issue I mentioned and it'll be cool.

Nearly perfect. This app is missing one key feature; the ability to choose custom music as an alarm sound. An integration with Hue Light would be incredible but not necessary.

Solid App. New options are nice, new icon isn’t.. Of all the clock/alarm apps out there, this is the one I keep coming back to. I’m a professor, and I run this during my lectures to help me keep track of the time—I only have to glance at it, because the numbers are so large and easy to see. Nice to see the improvements in this latest update, but THANK YOU for keeping the old red screen design as an option. The numbers do not stand out as well on the new, deep pink background, which I find unattractive. But I can change that. I recommend, though, changing back the screen icon—the new one is too busy and doesn’t stand out as clearly as the old one from all the other icons on my devices.

Cannot purchase analog kit.. I paid for the Analog Kit but got Theme Pack 1. Gee I get to add more colors but no numbers on the clock. When I click to purchase Analog kit it only takes me to the color themes again.

Amazing as advertised... Minimalistic it is ! Probably the best desk clock in the store. Great app and fabric themes look great on my desk too. But wish the battery indicator was more visible instead of a line on top of the app; I suggest a percentage indicator just like the iOS or a battery icon on top and as the other reviewer said if there were an option to stop the flashing of the time separator and other options for not showing wind speed and humidity.

Very elegant but needs some changes. I think this is a very classy app. Switching between day and night is very well implemented - easier than adjusting the light intensity through dimming. I would like to see a few changes though: (1) In 12-hour mode I would like to see the leading zero suppressed for times from 1:00 to 9:00. That would make it easier to read. This could even be an option in settings. (2) I would like to see the colon as non-flashing and perhaps a little bit larger dots - again it just makes it easier to read at a glance. (3) i would like to see the weather location displayed as confirmation that it is displaying my local weather. (4) I would like to be able to select the day for viewing but not the date - these should be independently selectable.

Good stuff. this is a stylish clock that looks good and does the job.

Please update it for the new iPhone models.. Nice app. But please update it to take full advantage of the latest iPhone models, including the Xs Max. That would be perfect!

Alarm function doesn't work. Don't trust it.. The alarm does not go off in this app. I've tried every alarm setting and nothing works. It's too bad, because it looks like it would be an otherwise great app.

Buggy app!. There are several things I love about this app. 1. The numbers are not those hokie neon digital digits that 95% of the alarm apps love to use but which I hate. I love this apps smooth professional numeric digits. 2. I Love that the majority of the screen is the stop alarm button. This is so rare but I love it!! I never use the snooze button so having a nearly full-screen to touch in my blurry state to turn off the sounding alarm is wonderful!! But there are a number of serious problems with this app! 1. I tried setting two different alarms but I could never get the second alarm to activate. It always turned it off when I clicked Done but turned on the first alarm instead. 2. I turned off the snooze option setting but it still displays a small snooze button area that is active. Snooze setting "off" should mean don't display a snooze button. Cinnamon instruments they should consider are: * wake up to your own iTunes music instead of just alarms. Allow selection of multiple songs and then randomly playing them each morning. * add a flashlight option, either shake to turn on/off or double tap the screen to turn on and off.

Lovely design, lackluster functionality.. I'm by no means saying this alarm clock is bad, but it's missing some basic features of other alarm apps. I'd like to see the ability to use music from the device as the alarm sound. I'd also like the volume of the alarm to be determined by the media volume rather than the ringer volume, as that would allow the application to be able to adjust the volume of the alarm at the time of the alarm's activation (in other apps such as iHandy's Alarm Clock, you're able to preset the volume so that whatever you left it at before you went to sleep wouldn't adversely affect how you wake up in the morning). Doing so would also allow the alarm to function correctly while the device is switched to Silent mode, which I value for sleep. I must assert, though, how flawless the UI design is. If only the app had the functionality I described above, I believe this would be the alarm app to end all other alarm apps, at least for me. Until then, however, I must choose functionality over design and stick with iHandy's app as my go-to reliable alarm. I really hope to see my suggestions implemented, because I really want to see this app perfected.

My Favorite Nightstand App. I love this app. It’s beautiful and fully functional. I use it on my nightstand every night as my night clock/alarm clock. Easy to set up, intuitive to use and very easy on the eyes… the latest update made a great app even better! The only change I would like to see is a smaller iconset for the weather status when the phone is in portrait mode.

Used to be my favorite. I loved Red Clock, note the past tense. This was my favorite and I had recommended it to family & friends-10 stars...now I'd give it a big, fat zero if I could. After the updates to iOS9, the alarm didn't work and the subsequent system patches haven't corrected the problem. I can understand issues with incompatibility, but what I don't get is how/why the developers of this app ignore the problem. I know that I've submitted a note to them twice-NO response-and that's no way to do business. If the developers can't fix their app so that it works properly with iPhones running on the current operating system, they should remove it from the App Store. I've switched to "Nightstand".

Request. I love this app. Very simple and functional. Can you please please please give us the option to change the amount of time to snooze for. 5 minutes is way too short. Also can u please change how the snooze and stop button are next to each other? Very tricky in the morning and almost turn off alarm instead of snoozing! That would not be good! Other than that amazing app!!!

Perfect!!!. I love this app! I've tried a few other "dock clocks", and Red blows em all away. It's the perfect amount if data, beautifully designed, and it functions exactly how it should. The night mode is great - easy to see in the dark, but dark enough to not cast any light. It seems strange to be geeking out about a clock app, but this is the last thing I look at on my phone before I go to bed and the first thing I see on it in the morning... so it better look good and work well. And boy does it. I use it with the Elevation dock - it's such a perfect combo.

Beautifully Simplistic. I really want to give this app 5 stars, and I think one day that I probably will. It's really easy to use, has a cool night mode, it's clearly organized, easy on the eyes and beautifully simplistic. Minus 1 star though, but only because if you are going to show the weather most people/users want to be able to view a 5 day forecast (at the very least). Not sure how I feel about the removal of the year on the date either. For me another key feature to have would be a live feed of the time on the app icon itself (like the iPhones native app), if that's even possible for App developers other than Apple to do. And if you could add a live feed of the weather icon as well then that would be fantastic!

Two tweaks to perfection. This is one of the best alarm clocks out there. Excellent layout and great features. Two things need to be fixed however. First, the phone cannot be in silent mode. This is an issue as many people turn their phones to silent at night to prevent annoying notifications (do not disturb doesn't always seem to work). As an app, they may not be able to get around this, but it would sure be nice. Second, and this is a biggie, the snooze button is way too small. As i go to pick up my phone, I almost always turn off the alarm by mistake as nearly the entire screen is the alarm off button. The entire screen should be SNOOZE with alarm off at the bottom. (and I guess a 2.5 would be the option to adjust the snooze time)

WOW!. This is exactly what I've been looking for - beautifully simplistic with the perfect dash of extras! I love having the large clock face which is so easy to read plus having current temps & weather info right there - no extra scrolling around. The alarm sound options are limited but there is quite a bit of variation and are very effective. Can't say enough good things about this app!

Don't be afraid of in-app purchases!. I can't speak to how well this functions as an alarm clock, but I want to reassure everyone that in-app purchases do not cripple this app! The paid-for version comes with everything you see in the free version, no adds, and the option to buy two additional theme packs for $.99 each. Every theme in the free version is available without an in-app purchase!

Clock that Does One Important Thing Great. I needed a simple, easy-to-read, not ugly clock, which this app covers while being the best looking clock there is. It is the first app to avoid the problem I've found with every other clock I've tried; it uses the entire width to display the numerals. No wasted space on gimmicky imagery. Weather is a bonus. Alarms I am not going to use. This app fills the position of wanting a simple, decorative house clock for the home.

Great, aside from issue savings alarms. I've loved this app since I first heard about it and began using it. However, in the last week, I've had three (3) instances where I turned my alarm on at night, but it didn't go off in the morning. I'm not sure what's going on with it. I have deleted the alarms and added them again, leaving them on when I save them, but yet when I open the alarm settings again, they aren't saved as "on." Aside from this issue, it's a great alarm clock app.

iPhone app on iPad is best by far, 1 quibble only. Peculiar that the iPhone version running full screen on iPad is definitely the cleanest nicest version but who cares. Note the alarm does NOT sound on my iPad unless the app is OPEN. If I leave it running all night (plugged in) as my night stand clock that's fine. But if I ever close it out, only a banner appears evidently but no sound. Not ideal. Feature suggestion is: time alarm is set for should appear under the alarm button and should always be there if alarm is on. For the compulsive who need that final confirmation as they fall asleep that alarm in fact is ON and is set to the right day, time, and AM or PM, this feature really is a must. Still kudos to developer for a really nice, simple clean interface that's really very good and has become my homescreen favorite clock on my iPad.

Excellent Bedside Clock. As a bedside clock, this app can't be beat. I configure it for black background, simple thin white numerals, and dim so the light isn't distracting. Not interested in weather, pretty backgrounds or any of that stuff. When I wake in the middle of the night I just want to see the time, and this app delivers. The alarms are limited; I prefer a very gentle sounding alarm that gradually increases in volume, but there isn't one here. If there were, this would get 5 stars for sure.

Like the look, like the options... I just wish it all worked!. I love the look and options for this alarm. I'd like to see improvements in how day/night mode works. I agree with the previous reviewer that I can't get it to work in an easy way either. I also can't get the sound I want to play (3) to work. Bummer. And finally, I'd like to see the current time displayed vs the label when the alarm goes off. This is especially important after one has snoozed a few times! Thanks for working to make this a better app.

Great while it lasted. There is nothing I hate more than to pay money and not get my money's worth. I bought the upgrade a long time ago, because honestly, it's a beautiful app (and that's coming from a designer). I'm greatly disappointed, however, because I had to get a phone replacement and upon trying to reload to my new phone, all I get is a disappearing icon. The app won't stay downloaded on my phone! It's definitely a 4+ star app, but not until I can actually use it again. If you can't fix it you should at least refund paying customers. :(

Clean and functional. This is the best desktop clock app I have. I love the look of it, they've got several color combos to choose from and the typeface is nice and clean looking. I use it every night. No distracting ads (thank you thank you). The pull down switch to dim the light is genius, or darling at least. I've used other clock apps but this one is a keeper.

Almost perfect except for brightness. I really love this app, it is almost a perfect clock app. I have it on my iPhone 5 and iPhone 4. I just wish it had a better automatic brightness control. It seems to switch between night and day mode solely based on whether iOS's auto-brightness has adjusted the backlight such that it crosses the threshold. The problem with this is that iOS only adjusts brightness if the ambient light changes by a drastic amount, it seems. I can't get Red Clock to switch modes when I turn the light on or off in my room. Yes, auto-mode is activated. Also, it'd be nice if the night mode would dim even further after about a half hour of darkness. The night mode is very bright still if you wake up in the middle of the night.

Alarm doesn't work. Beautiful app that I really wanted to like, but I can't have an alarm clock with an alarm that does not work under any circumstances.

Great! And so pretty! :). My new fave clock and alarm. And the alarm is LOUD too--fantastic! Now I can delete two extra weather apps and an alarm from my iPhone cuz RedClock contains both an alarm and the current weather. :) :) :) To the developer: Would you consider making an option to ADD more than one location for weather (i.e., show on the screen the weather for two cities)??? The reason why is because I prefer to leave the location services turned off in the settings cuz leaving it on all the time will drain the battery. So creating a way to type in your location and save it inside the app would eliminate this problem of always having the GPS searching for your location whenever RedClock is open and active.

Buggy. This has been my go to app for an alarm for years, BUT, it has recently developed some issues just as others have said. I can no longer trust this app to wake me on time. Also, this morning the alarm went off even though I hadn't set it last night. After being up late the night before because you have a day off, you don't want to be awakened at 5 am, especially when you turned the alarm off!!! Will give more stars when these issues are resolved.

Great App, but.... I like this app. It is easy to use and doesn't have any unnecessary functionality (that can't be hidden). I really like that. However, there are two things that I'd like to see changed to be more user friendly: 1) Both the Settings and the Alarm icons should remain visible at all times (or have a settings option). 2) When setting an alarm, the current day box should automatically be highlighted. I've forgotten to choose it and as a result the alarm doesn't happen. These changes would allow me to give the app five stars.

Literally does not work.... I BOUGHT this alarm clock and used it for a while effectively until one day it didn't go off and I was late for work. I have tried everything and the alarm will not go off anymore, no matter what I do. Also, the wether update is constantly disconnecting and I had to just turn the option off because it kept giving me an error message. I would have just deleted the app if I hadn't paid for it, but because I did, I still have it and I feel that I was ripped off by the developers. How hard is it to make a working alarm clock app? The alarm clocks motto is simplicity, I believe that should also be the motto of the developers cognitive abilities.

Good. I like the fact that this clock is large & very easy to read in the middle of the night. I also enjoy that you can change the colors and that it has a night mode so it isn't so bright. One buggy thing is even though the "missing" weather was fixed a few weeks ago, it still isn't working all of the time. I go to settings and turn it on & then the weather option turns itself back off just a short time later. It is not like I rely on this part of the clock for my weather info but it would be nice at a glance at the clock to see the current conditions.

Great app!!! But.... I love this app!!! It looks beautiful!! But it doesn't always wake me up when I use the alarm in the morning, compared to the default Apple alarm clock, which always wakes me up. This apps alarm only goes for 30 seconds, and doesn't let you adjust that. And it also doesn't let you adjust the volume level, which can be annoying. But overall, I still love the design of this app!!!
