very cool, so different I like it!. Great app and by far the best on Newsstand in content and presentation! A lot of playable content and I love the layout.

It won't go away.. I tried this app out to give it a try. Once I removed it. I couldn't stop getting updates. How do I get it off my phone??

For content that's relevant. The app is very easy to work with ! It has both a single page and double page format. I especially like the little video snippets alongside the article ( a little bonus for going digital ) . It's really worth it !

Long download time. Cannot read it in one setting. Takes up to 15 minutes to download ONE page.

Useless. You can't really read anything, because you have to pay for every package. It's stupid when one has the internet to stay updated

Good Magazine / Decent Content / Issues with App. I like reading India Today, Used to always buy a copy when I was in India. I was really excited when I saw it on iPad. The UI is okay, I won't call it great but it works. Very basic and functional. The one gripe I have is that there seems to be no way of buying the latest issue. I can subscribe where the subscription would auto renew unless I manually stop it. I am not a fan of subscription model, especially for a weekly magazine. I can buy any old issue for 99cents but not the latest. This sounds stupid..... So unless I have the ability to buy the latest issue I am not going to buy any more issues :-)

Review. I have a digital subscription. Suddenly within two months of subscription I can't access India today. There is no information on who and how to contact someone. I think the magazine is a good one to read and know about india

Can't access purchases. I bought several issues yesterday but today I can't access them. It tells me I have to log into my magster account, but I never made one in the first place.

Takes forever to download. Subscribed and trying to download latest issue of the magazine, even after 2 hours on broadband Internet it downloaded 8% and looks like hanging in trishanku swargam. Subscribers do not expect this sort of support from a reputed publication. Please fix the download o Issue quickly or refund subscription.

Contacting them. It is impossible to get hold of them in case of billing issues

India Today. This is a very good newsmagazine with a UI that's superb; Magzter, you've done it again!

Could be Better. I have been using this app for over 2 years. While frequent updates have brought several improvements it is still too slow. The biggest complaint is the slow magazine downloads (even on broadband WiFi connections). I am on an LTE network in the US. Also while downloading the magazine it gives no choice but to download the embedded videos thus wasting my monthly data download limits. There should be an option to NOT download the videos if I don't want them.

Would be a zero if it were possible. Cant download issues I paid for. Very slow speeds even over Wifi. Regret this very much.

Inadequate. Pathetic download speeds for new issues. Reminds me of dial up connections. Poor functionality.

Junk app.. I wish to give negative star rating, Alas! You can not down load in 45 minutes in 50mbps speed ! Can not see or download archived which you pay already, this is stealing. Can not read off line, because it can not be down load in firs place. I subscribe three magazine by mistake. All of them have the same problem.

Nothing is free on this app. No free material on this app. Coulda made really old issues free at least

Informative with a great layout. I wish all magazines were laid out so well. Able to find articles quickly, great content and works perfectly. 10 star app that I highly recommend.

App does not work anymore. I have iPad 1. After the last upgrade about a month back, it is not working anymore. The app just dies without showing any issues. I don't know where to get help. I will cancel subscription soon.

Poor response. Very slow if work I load new update lost my subscription as for refund or cancel

Keeps crashing. I haven't been able to even open this app yet. Just keeps on crashing. I even tried the good-old-Windows solutions of restarting the iPad, but no luck :(

My thoughts on India Today. I started reading India Today in 1982. It is my favorite magazine. The best thing about the magazine and news channel is that it is fearless and UN-biased. We can rely on its news, views and information. Keep it up India Today. Democracy is alive because of your honest journalism.

Absolutely horrible experience. Please do not use this app. I paid the magazine subscription - not one issue of India Today downloaded properly. I have other electronic magazine from Zinio or economist - no issues with them. Please avoid using this. I requested refund but was told there is no refund policy ! Apple needs to do something about it - these kind of experiences worry me on post Steve Apple.

Horrible App. I regret buying a subscription for a year. In this day and age for a premier Indian magazine to come up with this sort of a lousy app in the news stand is an absolute disgrace! I am beyond disappointed

Poor readability of information. I wish the information was more easily readable. There are some articles that can be read in readable format, while others have to be pinched to expand and reduce the image. Frustrating experience.

Too hard 2 read. I have done maximum zoom on a page still words are not large enough to read properly on iphone 5 . , my eyes become sore after reading couple of pages

Update ruined the app. Not loading pages....download so slow....unlike previously when you receive notification of new mag and it's already downloaded Pages are just stuck waiting for download. Needs an update to fix the problem Crappy app wasted my money subscribing third class magazine

Bad customer support. Recently, after an app upgrade, all my purchases disappeared. I have been emailing customer service for the past two weeks and there is no reply. This is the worst customer service I've experienced. I still have quite a few months of subscription left and there is no way it can be restored if customer service does not help. Be aware of this before you purchase a subscription.

Good but PAINFUL. I have subscribed to India Today and Travel Plus magazines. The content is terrific but the following issues make the app a two star... 1. The magazine does not download automatically when available. The download process starts when you open the magazine to read and even then it is excruciatingly slow! The download process when it starts continues when you are navigating pages but at a rate of a page every few minutes. So to download a 136page magazine it takes eternity. And then the download does not continue when you exit the app. So, regardless of what you do you cannot escape the PAIN! By the way, I am using an iPhone 4S on a superfast wireless network.

Very buggy. The app was working fine until it was updated with the latest version (Jan 04). Ever since the downloading of the latest issue seems to take for ever. The downloading started couple of days ago and so far it downloaded 26 pages out of 150 plus pages . Pl fix the app ASAP or please refund my money ASAP. Thanks. JP.

Poor digital cousin of printed copies. Very poor reading experience, it's essentially digitally scanned version of printed copies. Very minimal digital interaction, cataloging and bookmarking experience that you would expect from any digital reading media in the age of Amazon.

Average. I have been reading India today since I was teenager.When I saw the App I was exited.I downloaded a sample issue before subscribing.Although there is no doubt of the content, it is not interactive and is very basic(perhaps they should look at other popular apps like zite!). The most annoying thing are the advertisements. Every other slide is an advertisement.THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING! I will not subscribe for now until they can make some basic improvements!!!!!!

Biased reporting. There has been a general trend in Indian media to further the fortunes of the ruling party. India Today sadly has not lived up too to the very high expectations that I have had of it since the 70s.It is not very critical of the ruling dispensation when it needs to. Why?
