Better than paper.. Getting the week early in Africa is a treat, especially as there is no paper involved.

Renewal. It is an absolute pain. The App Store just says ‘Open’ after renewal date expires. There is no warning and no easy way of renewing; no automatic renewal option through Apple. useless.

Excellent read. I have been a reader of The Week for the last 14 years and love it. The paper version used to arrive here in Jamaica 3 weeks after publication, so I really enjoy the digital version. If you read nothing else regularly, read The Week

Week app. Have ipad 1 and will cancel my subscription unless crashing is fixed. Surely there is enough feedback on this.

Please fix. The magazine freezes every time I try to read it. I enjoy the content and prefer to read it through the app (vs. the hard copy). So please fix the problem.

Recent changes. I miss the Daily Briefing section. Did you consult your readership on that change or did you make it unilaterally. I also feel that when I started my membership you strived really hard to show equal numbers of views / articles to obviate bias. Over the last 2 years you have shown a preponderance of left wing articles. I would like to see you return to present different views to demonstrate a clear commitment to impartiality.

Excellent but pricy news summary. The week ( printed ) is excellent although expensive, as is the electronic version

Ipad 1 crashes. The week is great....however on an ipad 1 it crashes constantly....!

WonderWeek Not. Unable to read The Week since the latest update of the app. Constantly crashes. Please fix

Love the content, but app doesn’t refresh. I’ve enjoyed The Week news reports for years in magazine and digital formats, BUT the digital site doesn’t “refresh” the daily update on a regular basis (fails 2-3 times or more a week) and requires either rebooting the iPad or deleting the app and reinstalling it (fastest way). But, deleting the app also means that you have to reset the app if you want to read more than the daily updates in the digital format. VERY FRUSTRATING. And I have contacted them and this appears to be the only “fix”.

Slow. The app is very very slow.

Available in the US at last!. I honestly missed this more than any other publication when I moved from the UK. I had the paper copied delivered but nothing beats the Newstand experience and ease of subscription. Many thanks for making it available outside of the UK - now if we could only find a clever way to include the crossword :-)

Love the magazine, hate the app. Every time I try to launch this app it crashes, so I have to go back through the process of deleting, reinstalling and re entering my subscription information. The content in the magazine is great. The app serving it up is not. Fix it, please!

Excellent weekly news summary. A good mix of news stories from across the globe presented in a succinct format. Worth subscribing to.

Just silence.. After signing up for digital and free offer, nothing. I’ve been a subscriber of The Week for many years, first in England and now in US. Tried to get UK addition but got no where. ?????? Anyone out there? Roy Bartholomew

Crash. Love it except for the crashes, which I thought may have been my iPad, but obviously others have the same issue!

Great mobile news. Great magazine and good to have it with for the quick updates always at hand. Good companion and worth it.

Keeps getting worse. So in the latest release, all my saved articles over the years have disappeared. Plus night/dark mode has disappeared. Exactly what does bug fixes and enhancements mean? Seems you just made things worse.

Fixed something that wasn’t broken. What a shame this app, which was worth three maybe four stars, has been so substantially downgraded and is now worth one star. The overall UX is worse, the UI is worse, navigation is worse, graphics are worse, usability is reduced, screenshots are more difficult, functionality previously working has been removed. What were they thinking?

The Week. I'm a long time subscriber, since about 2004, and generally I think it's an excellent magazine, though far better written in its earlier days. My problem now is that the App now refuses to open on my iPad: when you click on it, it opens the page with the collage of covers but goes no further -- no Issues, and I can't download any new ones-- but just goes back to the desktop. What's wrong with it? That's why I've given it only 3 stars.

Great Magazine, Terrible App. The Week is a great magazine that presents an incisive look at the week's news. No longer living in the UK, I was really excited when it became available on iTunes for the iPad. Unfortunately, the app is terrible. It was crashing so frequently, I could virtually only read an article or two at a time. Then I made the mistake of changing the number of issues available (in the settings), and now the app crashes before even opening. I'm glad I'd only gotten so far as downloading a free issue so I've not wasted any money. I'd love to purchase a subscription, but it'd just be a waste. Too bad. I hope the developer fixes the issues.

Like The Week but not the app. The content of The Week is great - but it frequently just closes down when reading. Very frustrating. Maybe it is just my iPad 1 can't handle the app.

Week. Great app great magazine with excellent content.

App freezes. For months now, through more than one update, the app freezes and pages will not turn.

Very user-friendly app for wonderful magazine. The writing is splendid. The coverage is comprehensive. And the app is very good.

Excellent news source. The app is great. The content superb. A very good survey of events, news, and editorial from around the media from around the globe. I recommend it.

App even Better than Print Version. The app is a pleasure to read; it has been really well designed so the articles are easy to find and access. And of course the content is always good.

Offline mode. Please fix the issue of a downloaded issue not having pictures once the WiFi is off. This is annoying on the countless times I want to read it on a plane etc. Thank you.

Online and offline. Great round-up of global on going events, really easy access online and great to have the subscription delivered to my door -

Mark. Excellent, live in OZ and want to keep up to date on what is going on back home, read the magazine when visiting Uk and am stocked it is available here. Great articles, well written, top job.

Love it!. Great app...used to get paper version sent to Aus, now on iPad, very easy to navigate and content as good as ever.

Great magazine.... terrible app. Doesn’t work on iPad in landscape mode. When reporting the bug they said they’d take it under consideration?!? What’s to consider... the app doesn’t work in landscape mode!

Some changes for the worse. The content of The Week remains varied and interesting. Unfortunately there seems to have been some changes for the worse in the latest app update. Night mode is no longer supported, and inexplicably (in this day and age) there are only 3 supported text sizes - one too small and one too big for me - and not the one I’m used to previously. On the plus side, a landscape mode is now supported.

Ace. Ace

Doesn’t work properly on iPad anymore. Since the last update it no longer downloads properly on iPad . It won’t load properly in landscape mode (or allow you to scroll), maps no longer download for the at a glance section and it often takes two goes to get it to download at all. Obviously forgot to test iPad before releasing it!

Great news product, terrible offline experience. Since the last major app overhaul, the offline experience with the app has been dreadful. In the old app/version, downloading an issue meant downloading the whole thing. Now, much of it requires internet access even when "downloaded" and on page turn there will be a blank screen sometimes for up to 20 seconds. Issues now often I download themselves completely meaning you can access at all on a flight for example. Please fix so that downloading means you can read it completely offline!

Essential reading. I only wish we still had an Australian version.

So much better perspective than online news!. I love that the Week focusses on the bigger themes rather than daily dramas. It quotes other journalists and how they have bounced off each other on key issues during each week - which greatly adds to interpretation. The global news is great. I am time poor so I really appreciate this weekly briefing to keep across global news.

The Week. Unfortunately and bizarrely, you can no longer use Night Mode. This was a very useful feature to allow reading the magazine without glare at night. This is a backward step and a loss that makes no sense of the much less useful gimmicks in this update.

Brilliant news bite size. Well laid out App. As enjoyable as the magazine itself.

Excellent and informative magazine. I love the way this magazine is presented and edited to give both sides of the story in a fast packaged way. Would highly recommend!

Really excellent publication. The Week is a really fantastic publication and I am so pleased to have been able to buy the app for my iPad/iPhone. A brilliant app, so easy to use and navigate. I like not having to wait for the paper copy to arrive by post, and it's cheaper too! The Week really is quality reading, with great articles, so well put together. So much better than trawling the daily newspapers!

Terrific news magazine. I have been reading The Week for some years & am delighted that it is available in digital form. Newsy & succinct - keep up the standard

Brilliant. Arguably one of the best newspapers of any country. I don't read anything online but make an exception for the week because it's so good. It's actually a well done app for the iPad as well.

Bad redesign. The new iPad version of the Week is difficult to use and makes the reading experience poor. I used to enjoy reading the week, but now I avoid it because of the poor reader experience.

Excellent publication. A wonderful way to keep in touch with events in the U.K. as well as elsewhere, for those of us who live elsewhere!

The Week. A good précis of what is going on in the world.Educational and entertaining. App. Is not reliable.

10!. Does what Time & Newsweek never managed ---riveting.

Spam. I should not have to agree that my details are given to third parties, just in the sign up process. I know you can opt out later, but that option should be given up front. Deleted.
