Deleting your app. I will be deleting your app after having used it happily for many years the new look makes it impossible for me to type an address in. What in the world did you do and why would you do it. I would now rate this app lower then 1 star before and easy 4 to 5 stars now I would tell everyone I know to pick a different driving app sorry

Scout Map. In the beginning use this my everyday for work was good. Up to a few weeks ago It started acting out really bad. I keep giving it opportunities to fix it self and it keeps disappointing me. I will have to go back to Google or Waze. Scout Map needs a serious fixing.

Frustrating app. This app does not have current, accurate data. For example, there are nearby shopping directions for a department store that’s been closed/out of business for at least 10 years. How to trust other data, or risk being led to undesirable destinations! Before realizing the app was unsatisfactory, I linked it to my vehicle and now it can’t be removed from the vehicle’s dash screen. Signed, Extremely frustrated with this app

Awesome app. Excellent navigation I have it more than 5 years and still use it I recomen it is easy to navigate thank you

Invasion of privacy. Long time ago I used this app. as a backup. After getting a new phone and updating the app, I notice it’s useless unless you give them your phone number. What a waste. To share arrival time, just forget sharing with any non-contact person. You have to make the person a “contact” before sharing ETA.

Thought I’d give it another try. I thought I’d give the app another try… But it was a little disappointing. It doesn’t display with the proper depth on my cars Apple play…and audio directions sounded spliced together. The visuals were faded and gray black and white only, as if I had some long outdated app. I think I’ll be looking for something else.

Just aweful. On multiple occasions scout has told me to turn on roads that don’t exist or to use someone’s driveway to get from on street to another. I liked this gps when it first came out but has declined to total garbage. I understand the Pocono’s can be tricky but not being from this area and not always knowing where to go I like the help. Get it together and try harder scout.

Good Navigator. When I first joined Scout, we really loved how clean and precise it was in getting us from point A to point B. It was also dependable. Not so much lately. We used to be able to put in an address and have it pop up right away. Now it seems like we have to struggle at times by pulling over to the side of the ride or driving aimlessly before it registers. It seems like these simple problems occurred as Scout started adding more to its program. We really would like to see Scout go back to simplifying and working more on making their program better in getting us back to going from place A to B than inviting friends and all the other extras. Our priority is to stick in an address, have it come up within the next 5 seconds with the all round best route - nothing more.

Why do I keep getting routed down Bourbon Street. Scout is pretty accurate and it is my first choice when I get ready to go somewhere. But once again, this morning, I was routed down Bourbon Street. No one should ever be routed down Bourbon Street! It is often cordoned off to traffic, and even when it isn’t, it’s no fun having to drive an obstacle course of drunk tourists! I don’t know how to give feedback on this app, but I hope someone in the upper hierarchy is reading this.

The most accurate and easy to use. I think scout is the most accurate and easy to use for navigation thank you great job!

Excellent navigation application. Does the job very well!! Sometimes there's very minor glitches.

where is the functional Nav panel?. I miss my old navigation system. If my phone was in my purse or unavailable. I could touch the navigation button on my car and it would pop up a map of my current location & I could zoom in or-out to view options. With this Scout system, I have to use mapquest or Google maps off of my phone. I might as well get out the old paper maps that used to be in my glove box to see where i am. I’m so unhappy, I wish i’d bought a different car

Review. Scout is the only GPS system I use from my I phone. It actually takes you where you need to be. If you put in 141 grant st, that is where it’ll take you. I love using scout

App on my Iphone. I'm having a problem opening the app it does not open.

Search bar. At the top of the screen, the search bar is so close to the links under it you can not select it without trying four or five times this is highly annoying. The screen should better fit my cell phone, which is where it is used predominantly

Bluetooth has never worked for iOS. I would give this app 5 stars if they could ever get the Bluetooth audio to work while driving. I got this function to work once for a few minutes years ago when I use to own the iPhone 4s but never worked for my iPhone 5s nor my 128g 6s iPhone. I love using my BlueParrott headsets while driving, they are the best Bluetooth headsets on the market and this is THE only app it doesn't work on. I find this flaw with Scout to be very dangerous while driving. Scout is by far the best navigational app out there but I'm only left with Google maps because their Bluetooth audio has always worked except google can't pronounce Hawaiian street names and Scout can very effectively. I would love to one day only need Scout for my navigational needs. Bluetooth audio seems to be a common complaint in your reviews, I hope you finally address this issue sometime this year or the next...

Better than WAZE. This App has been immediately compatible with the variety of cars in my household. It plits to all house ir business #s versus preset #s like most new vehicle GPS systems are and it immediately plays through my vehivle’s speakers. Other GPS programs do not.

Downloaded maps. Your app has a major flaw. I live in the eastern part of the US. So if I want to travel to the central region of the US. I would to delete the east maps and download the central maps. A very disadvantage. I should be able to download all regions at once.

Love it!. I love this app-why? Because it advises me in advance what the next turn is-not when I am 5’ from the turn! Keep up the good work. 😊

Disappointment. Going into a Toyota Tacoma, which I love, and dealing with the Scout GPS is pain. Sometimes the gps App I the truck allows me to search for addresses (when it is connected to my app on my iPhone), sometimes it doesn’t. It didn’t earlier today until I was almost to my destination. No traffic. I finally entered the address, and although my destination was about a half mile ahead on the right, straight road without traffic, it was directing me to turn left at the next light. Makes no sense. Update: You gave the option to choose highways, car pool lanes, and avoid tolls. If you turn highways ton"green" it's actually avoiding highways. I don't know why the word "avoid" is left out on the highways option. I'll raise my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Not happy. Sends me on wild goose chases. Sometimes when i could take a street one way down i directs me in a maze of going many miles away only to com back almost right next where i started. Needs to more user friendly. Used to love it. But now hate that it gives so many bad directions. Doesnt show many options restaurants or things nearby.

Contacts and favorite places. This is ok if I want to go home or to work but otherwise useless for me. I'd like to have a way to access my contacts for favorite places, instead of a random list of people and places near where I happen to be at the time. Also would like a way to just touch an icon and access all my contacts. This is trying to replace Telenav GPS and I wouldn't even consider it. Add a contacts icon and I will consider scout. Til then---yawn. Update. Now they want all my personal information. No. Delete.

Don’t like. I don’t like friends in my contact being able to see places I like

Trips Made Easy. I love using “Scout”, I is easy to use and uncomplicated. I always get to were I’m headed without stress. Have been using this app for many years (have tried other apps & always come back)

HUGE disappointment after years of use!. Years ago I got the paid GPS app and loved it.. then the updates started rolling in to turn a simple perfect GPS platform into a mobile social networking platform. Now your prompted to give your phone number with promises of privacy but also told that the information is shared as well as your location . Also your given a warning not to use while driving but then the entire platform is to use with a friend while in vehicles driving... can't wait to see when the lawsuits start coming in on that one! Also now they want you to sign up and pay monthly fees for social media while driving and not sue them for it. Scout... I and many others as you can see in the reviews just wanted a simple, clean working GPS without having to buy another device to stick in the vehicle nothing more, nothing less. I had even PAID for the app to get the GPS service... now you want me to pay for services I don't want, don't need, and won't use even though I paid for the GPS service already???!!! That's just DIRTY business! I have already PAID for the GPS part of this app so I should get what I PAID FOR!!!

Great app but.... I like this app much more than most standard phone map apps. My favorite part is that it tells you what’s coming next...”turn left and then, keep right” it helps make it easier to not feel like you have to watch your phone (which is no good if you do t have a passenger to help navigate). I love that I can also send people my ETA and they can track if I’ve made it safely. As a small woman, this helps me feel safer and more secure. My one issue? The “foodie” link in the corner. I have issues with food and it’s a bit triggering. I would much prefer that be a quick link to my “favorites” instead. Can you please implement the ability to either disable to foodie option or make that a quick link to my favorites so I don’t have to go to my profile and then to my favorites every time?

Scout review. Hi, I’m giving Scout another chance but Google is better with no toll rides and no highway driving. It also has faster routes with or without Highways

Flashing Mess of a distracting Safety Hazard. I’ve used scout forever. But one day a few months ago by now I turned it on to notice the display box in upper left corner of screen with the big arrow that shows your anticipated direction keeps flashing every second!!!!!!! It is super ANNOYING and a distraction to the driver. It is a SAFETY HAZARD. And I absolutely hate it. I updated the app to see if it goes away but it never does. Now I’M going away from Scout and going to try some other navigators. Sorry this is going on cause I’ve used scout as my go to for years.

Lost. Awesome app. I use this one about 98% of the time driving. Always going to new places and I always get there with scout

Disrespect. Funny that I’m seeing this trend and reporting it to E-commerce. That I paid for this app years ago and used it and it worked a little better than the rest. But when I tried to use it today, I discovered that the “free” - how is it free when I PAID FOR IT???? - version is 100 percent USELESS. So another grateful developer who thinks it’s their amazing app that put it on top and not the early users, making suggestions and high ratings. Not us. We didn’t tell all of our friends. It couldn’t be us because then they would show some loyalty and people who have been users from launch through the date they changed this to a subscription would be grandfathered. Because WE had as much to do with promoting and supporting this app as anyone else. Instead of a thank you and continued use I now have to delete it. Hi five to another hungry band of thieves.

Used to love this app, now won’t work. I have used this app everyday for 5-10 years now and has very many addresses that I go to for work. Now I can not even get it to load or turn on. Updated Scout and tried everything. Very disappointed. I really do like the layout and how this gps has operated in the past. Sure hope they’re not trying to get too fancy with it and just stick to how it used to be…

If it’s not broken don’t fix it. Used it for years but last update totally screwed it up After years of using it I have to replace it it’s totally different better way

Wrong direction. I specifically told it to take one route and it was trying to send me on one of the other route obtains. And kept trying to redirect me! Ugh! It’s so frustrating!! 😔 😩

Nostalgia. I like it. No matter what I cannot hate Telenav. I grew up with it before google maps and all that. My dad had it on his work blackberry and I loved how I could tell it with my voice where to go. This service is nostalgic and I really don’t care if anyone thinks it’s bad it’s a reminder of my childhood that I cannot forget

Unreliable. This app used to work. I replaced motion x gps with this. It’s very glitchy. Gets stuck, constantly reroutes you and will never get you where you need to be on time. Turn by turn directions went from bad to worse. Highly dissatisfied and upset with this apps performance. If you want to constantly get lost and waste gas rerouting use this app.

Data Dump. Reading the EULA to this is pretty terrifying. Basically whatever you search for in navigation you give to people trying to hire or sell something to you. Imagine that next time you’re hoping for a bug fix on the app, probably not where your resourced data is going to. I don’t care how well their navigation and map system is and I won’t find out. NEXT!

Scout GPS. I love Scout GPS. The turn by turn voice guide and map helps a lot to drive conveniently to my destination. Even if I missed my turns it takes me back to the right route.

Best GPS by far!. I have used scout for years, I hate to drive and had anxiety over doing it: I learned my son was very ill and over the next 2 years I had no choice but to drive him to appointment: thanks to scout I was able to navigate through some pretty scary traffic situations ❤️

Great. Still.. Scout used to be my go to gps. I just downloaded it back again and it still works great however all these gps’s have to stop making all these stupid social media features. No one will ever use these it dosent make it better it reduces the experience. However in Scout that garbage stays out of the way and it gets you on your way.

i’ve been disappointed in this app lately. i used to LOVE this app. it always got me to my destination. But lately the app has been giving me the LONGEST routes ever!!! and it doesn’t even get me to my destinations anymore... it’ll say i’m at my destination and i’m on the side of the road looking at nothing... i switched to Waze and that seems to be doing better for me lately. Please Scout get it together this used to be my favorite reliable GPS app!

Failed subscription. I have tried multiple times to subscribe for the plus version but it always fails, while my account is charged. Please fix.

Requires a phone number at launch now. Pass.. I installed Scout on a new iPhone, and was presented with a request for a phone number with a “promise” they won’t share it with anybody - then I read their Privacy Policy. I don’t like their not-so-private Privacy Policy, and deleted the app. I'm almost 60 now, no need for social media accounts or this app.

First day using scout. The exit number we needed was way off. On scout exit was 427 when in fact it was 412. We were in Phoenix AZ and headed to Desert Shadow RV park. We usually have two mapping apps going as we are in an RV and can’t turn around easily. Then two days later we were headed to Albuquerque. On Scout it is spelled Albaqurque.

Lagging voice instructions. The voice directions seem to lag about 10 minutes behind where I actually am when I am driving. I don’t see any settings and how to change this and that makes the app pretty useless

Speaker. It’s such a shame this app has no turn off speaker ability. Many times when driving I turn the speaker icon on top right off and the directions still come through my car. This is very disturbing and dangerous as a few times I’ve jumped at being startled. Please fix this…🙏🙏🙏

No turn by turn view!. After using GPS for over 10 years with turn by turn map views this app is like going back to the Stone Age! We took my first road trip in my new Toyota yesterday trying to use the Scout navigation system. What a frustrating mess! After several missed turns due to the lack of a turn by turn map we turned it off and used Google maps! I’m now looking for a phone mount for my truck so I can avoid using this app!

Kicked me out. I’ve been using this app for years now with my iPhone, this is the first time that every time I open the app it won’t let me and kicked me out.. I can’t open it. I restart my phone, re-downloaded the app still the same.. I like this app a lot and relying to this ever since..

Confused with Scout GPS Link. Scout is Excellent!!! Scout GPS Link needs to be improved!!!! I downloaded the app, linked to my new Toyota and the app doesn’t work. The app is also frozen on my cell phone.

Bad. Usually the system will rerouted but isn’t working that way any more as soon as you get to near location it stop providing info how to get to the address . Yesterday I spend 45 minutes lost trying to find the place I was going to. Went I give the address again it send me in a complete different route and got lost again

Most Used GPS. I primarily use Scout for all of my GPS needs & it’s usually spot on! Have only had a few times that it wasn’t correct. I’d like to be able to put in a different start address, for times when I need to know a route & time it will take from one place to another that’s a different starting address than where I am currently located. If there’s a way to do that, I haven’t figured it out. Other than that, I love it.

Houston, Tx. Spent hours trying to get this app to work. Went online for tips and tricks. Tried it ALL. Never got the phone to pair up in my 2019 Tundra JBL Navigation radio system. Deleted, Bye.

Shuts down. For the last few days I click on to use It opens then shuts immediately down Just blank screen -home screen What’s going on??

Telenav GPS was better. Apart from losing my address book, the current version of scout “hangs” on profile. I installed it on my wife’s iPhone 5 my brand new 6 and m daughters 6. Same “hang” that says “preparing” I believe Telenav GPS was more configurable for detail. But I will attribute that to “learning curve” Everything tells me Scout is a downgrade.

IMPROVED TOO MUCH. The old Telenav was great, and had everything you needed right on the interface. This is great for bells and whistles not much in simplicity. And your old telenav yearly account does not transfer

Love Scout. I travel a lot and I can always depend on Scout to get me there.

Used to work. This app used to be great but idk what happened I put in the address 2 time and it sent me to the opposite side of the city I needed to be in. My dad put the same address into google maps and it took us to where we needed to be.

Maps need to be updated.. For the most part this navigation system is ok. My only gripe is that there are new roads and they don’t exist in this navigation app.

App doesn’t open. I’ve used this app for years and now it doesn’t even open. Very disappointed it worked on Wednesday now nothing.

No alerts. It doesn’t alert to traffic, police, construction

Navigates me through closed gates and fences. Not only does it try to navigate me through closer to the public areas, but also there’s no way I can find to submit correct data. 🤷‍♂️

Some locations not searchable. Needed to go to Delavan Wisconsin yesterday. Searched for it in the app and it continually showed me a New York location even when searching address, name of the location or name of the town. Gave up and went to Google. Might have to delete app.

Review. Scout is to slow and you miss a lot of turns and end up making many u turns

Don’t bother. This app wants to take me on routes that are less than direct and have gotten me lost in north NJ several times. On the way to my daughter’s, it took me almost 20 minutes out of my way.

Hit or Miss?. I have a Tacoma and constantly get message ( phone application not detected please ensure Scout GPS Link is running on your phone) which it is. Very poor customer support

DONT DOWNLOAD!. All these apps send out updates every 2 weeks and can’t even explain what’s in them. They are involved with phone companies to take up all the space in ur phone so u will buy another 1

Disaster. After last updates at November, I can’t even open this aplication. I used to be so happy with this app but something went wrong after last updates. I deleted twice and downloaded again and still doesn’t work

Not worth it. When using this navigation app 3 out of 4 times it has NOT gotten me to where I needed to go so I definitely would not recommend it

Awful lately. This was my go to app instead of the apple map but recently it’s been taking me on routes that are permanently blocked off , down one ways and suggesting illegal u turns. I’m convinced it’s trying to kill me at this point .. so I’m deleting the app .

On my Toyota. This is a mandatory app for my vehicle navigation system, it is both overly complicated to use and far less constrained then the nav system on my iPhone. I am just going to quit using the vehicle nav system and use my I phone instead I wish Toyota had not chosen this system on their new Tacoma’s.this is a waste,

Doesn’t know the roads !!. It says it take 3.13 hours to get to Columbia an it only takes 1.48 hrs through google ! It took me up am down all sorts of roads to go straight to the bay bridge !! It’s a straight shot thank god I knew the straight shot but was using it to get to Baltimore ! Ludicrous!! I use to love this app what happened ????

Terrible!. Installed so I could link to my new Toyota Tacoma. After trying to use for 20 minutes; I deleted it. I don’t want another “social media app” - I just want a turn by turn GPS.

I Get Around. I’m a realtor so I’m always in my car. Scout is my go to navigation system. I’d be lost without it...literally!
