Not working. App has worked for years. Suddenly it doesn’t load content to either my iPhone or iPad versions. Just see grey squares that blink and eventually time out - if you want to wait that long. Something is seriously wrong. Deleted reloaded and still doesn’t work.

Ruined. This used to be a great app. Now they have butchered it with excessive advertisement plus it crashes after just a few minute is play for a buffer. So disappointed. Plus the use of American announcers on European tour events is annoying. But what is wrong with this buffering protocol? It just shuts down and there is no return to video. Then you have to exit out and return, only to watch the stupid long Rolex commercial again although you just watched it. Plus Golfpass is so expensive and you still have to watch commercials... ?

Poor App for IPads. I don't know which is worse, this app or trying to understand what Cara Robinson is saying. It seems whenever I try to look at videos and photos on the app, it times out almost immediately and goes back to my IPad home screen. Today I tried to view The Open on the Golf Channel app after work and you guessed it...it would not load and kept taking me back to my IPad home screen. Golf Channel should be ashamed to offer a product that is worse than hitting a shank. FIX THE BUGS !!!

What happened?. App, no matter the connection takes forever to load. Tired of looking at Tiger Woods stating at me for 5 minutes. Also liked the old format better as all the news was on the front page and you could go to other pages for the social crap if you so desired. But this is slow,slow,slow

Bad Update. I share the opinions of many other recent reviews. The new update is not good. Difficult to navigate now and nearly impossible to read scores. Font is in micro format. 3/3/18 - so an update to the last failed update was implemented. The "fix" is to turn your view to portrait now which you have no control over. While the font is slightly better, I find this adjustment quite annoying. Just go back to something closer to the previous version prior to the past two updates. I like the information you get in this app, but make it user friendly again. PLEASE!

Major Bug is trying to watch through the app. Deleted app twice this week trying to watch the Open, after reinstalling it doesn’t give me option to select TV provider and log in. So not able to view while on the go out working.

The old days. Golf Channel use to be a great place to get the tips you could use to help your game on the course. That’s all changed now because the tips you advertise all cost money. It’s a shame that golf channel doesn’t make enough money to offer the tips without cost like the old days. The first paragraph was left behind and I fully agree. The programming now is a replay of the last tournament played, and it is boring. Some additional programming would be good. Paying for tips you can readily get in U Tube is ridiculous.

Buggy. On several occasions, the app locks up upon opening. The background is there and cycles brighter and darker. There is no content. My iPhone 11 has the latest software. If this happened once or twice, no big deal, but it’s happened at least 10 times over the last several months. On another note, the scores for golf while the tournaments are ongoing are excessively delayed. ESPN scores are more up to date. Please improve the refresh rate.

Presidents Cup coverage. Not sure what’s happening with your golf show production but I’m very disappointed. Number and length of commercials has exceeded anything I’ve ever watched - even the Super Bowl. The split screen is a disaster. The overall standing isn’t going to change for two/three hours but it takes almost 20% of the split screen and you won’t show any information on the match your trying to show on the split screen. Somebody in your organization needs to make some major changes with the overall focus on what you think the viewers would like to watch or see. Please take a serious look at changing your focus or I’m going to delete your apps and stop watching your telecast.

The score- leaderboard. Disappointed with the new leaderboard portion- I can’t pick my favorites any longer. I have to scroll through and try and find the name of my favorite player. It’s tough on a small screen with old eyes. I can’t even click on the column so I can sort to alphabetize the names. Or is there a trick?

No improvement. You’ve improved it worse. Your former app, while not perfect, was better than your new and improved app. It’s looks like whoever implemented the changes doesn’t understand that 99% of your app’s users are using a mobile device. Often a very small device like a mobile phone.

Men Only??. A decent application if you’re only interested in men’s golf. There are fans of women’s golf (LPGA and LET as two examples) who also enjoy watching and following women’s tours and players as well. Example: you can select an unlimited number of male competitors to follow in any given tournament but a maximum of 8 female competitors in any tournament your channel happens to report on. So, wouldn’t it be better to rename your application so it accurately reflects your tendency to fully support one gender and not golf in totality?????????

False Advertising. If it’s truly golf channel then they should be giving ALL the scores including LIV!!! Golf channel is so one sided that it’s horrible. Quite honestly I hardly watch it any more. It’s too bad because it use to be so good. Lastly they need to get rid of chamblee he’s terrible!!! Pretty-Sad

Terrible update. I have never written an app review before, but after years of using the Golf Channel app with only one complaint (more on that in the next paragraph), I feel compelled to say that your latest upgrade is one of the worst upgrades to any app I have ever used. The fonts are so small that text can barely be seen and so gray that text can hardly be distinguished from the background. There's way too much white space between names and scores and between one name and the next, so you can't gather in a lot of information all at once, and there's no box or line (just the faint word "Leaderboard" separating favorite players from the full field scores. My one consistent complaint is the backseat that the LPGA takes in the "Tournaments this Week" list and, usually, in the "News" section. Disappointing.

Fantasy golf. The fantasy golf doesn’t even work for me anymore the main reason I even downloaded the app to begin with. I have gave feedback several times why there is no fantasy golf picks anymore and I get no response. That was the best part of the app because it was actually fun. This app isn’t anymore I would not recommend or download it use to be a way better app before all the new updates too. I suggest pay a professional to redo this entire app like it use to be and fire who ever ruined it!!

Please Put More Thought Into This. The new design is horrible. Who thought this was an improvement over the previous design? One complete oversight is the lack of total scoring per round. I get that if a player shoots a 36/33 they have a total of 69. But that total is nowhere to be seen on the score pages! Why do I have to total both nines to determine what a player shot for each round? Simple solution: put the actual score for a each round somewhere easy to see, not just total to par and score for each nine.

Hate the latest update!. For years, I have used the golf channel app. It was easy to navigate and featured an intelligent layout. Worked very well. That all changed with this update. My only complaint of the previous design was the negative tone allowed in user commentary. It almost always ended up in personal attacks, etc. Which were worthless. I will give this update a chance to grow on me or perhaps get a couple of edits. I would hate to delete the app after all these years, but if this had been the app previously, I doubt I would've stayed.

Too much Tom. Brandel and Paul, your coverage of the PC is great except for one thing. Your nauseating worship of Tom Kim, a young golfer with a 2-2 record this week. He took part in wins over Scottie, Sam, Patrick, and Xander, all of whom are underperforming. Scottie is downright stinking the place up, and except for a couple of good putts, so is Sam. Xander,s performance yesterday was appalling. T Kim has a solid future in the PGA, but don’t project him as the next Tiger Woods. It appears that his touchdown dances are more important than his play, at the expense of Max Homa 3-0-0 and others. John Laury

It’s just golf!. Let’s read and talk golf, not opinions. It’s like non-partisan politics. Reeds embedded ball was a non issue, should have been left alone instead of making it a media issue. We could have watched more golf and talked more golf instead of watching an Opra episode. Nobody cares what Nick Faldo would have done or anyone else on the Golf channels! The stations are becoming rumor mills!

What’s the Fuss?. Sorry, I read the Tiger article first. Anyway, I don’t see why the problems that others have with this app. This upgrade is fine with me. The articles were easily readable and the pix enhanced the story. I’ve been to other golf sites that were not nearly as satisfying. Keep up the good work.

Everything golf channel. I like everything golf channel always informative and up-to-date Frank Nabilo and David Duval are on point like listening to both of them but Brandel chamble has got to go tired of listening to crap from 1900 Who cares get with it brandle you’re not the smartest person at the table try to be as informative as the rest of them other than that I like the Golf Channel and rich Lerner does a great job

Player Scores per round lost w update + $ payout never shown. Please provide a single screen view that shows 18 holes and final score per round view. Currently have to add the 9s yourself and swipe for R1, R2, R3 & R4 + add to see scores by round. Stacking the 9s is unnecessary and there is no final score shown. Also, have to search for any score over double b/c there is no symbol showed. -Triangle- There is no view of all 4 rounds to show the progression of the player in the tournament. Also, after the tournament, show cash payout section...the PGA Tour must not like the $ to be shown.

What were they thinking?. The new version of this app is disorganized, almost chaotic - it is just impossible to navigate to scores and stories in a logical manner. Who thought this was a good idea? Can I give this mess zero stars? Please, take this back to the developer. Hurry. After living with the V 4.7.1 upgrade for a couple of weeks, I can say that the Golf Channel App has joined the infamous CBS Sports - NCAA basketball “Coverage Gap” as obnoxious and disrespectful to golf fans everywhere (CBS uses the time to refresh “Sir Nick’s” makeup, I guess). The CBS issue can be avoided by finding coverage elsewhere on the web. As for the Golf Channel App, all I have to do is hit “Delete” - Bye-bye! Ratings have gone from 4.1 out of 5 before the updated app to less than 3, now 2.9 out of 5. I expect the ratings will sink further from this low level. If I wanted to follow every golfer’s social media or pictures of Paige and Paulina and Natalie and every other attractive woman who adds little to the sport, I could follow them on Facebook or Instagram or who cares what other place - it’s not the information or views I come to the Golf Channel app to obtain. It truly is time to go. Wake up, Golf Channel!

Nice Golf Channel App RUINED!. I loved this app till this week. All my favorites that I’ve been following for years are gone! Circles and squares for birdies, bogeys, etc. are gone. Initially, showing current round is gone. Did you actually pay programmers to ruin your app? I have an iPhone, so maybe these horrible changes do not apply to Droids. I’m very disappointed and hope fir the slim chance that these reviews are read. Please, hire back the old programmers.

Too hard to read!. The print on the app is too small. The spacing on the scores page is too wide. It makes it difficult to read. Miss being able to select favorites on the scoring page. Think this version takes three steps back instead of one step forward.

Lost my favorites. With the new update I no longer have the feature “my favorite players” that I use to be able to open the leader board and see where the players I keep up with are at or even if the are playing in a specific tournament. This should be fixed ASAP! I might as well be using the ESPN app without this feature.

Always issues trying to watch golf live. The logging in / connecting to your cable provider always feels like a science project trying to get it to work. Every time I’ve finally gotten it to work, it’s taken nearly 30 minutes of going back and forth with customer service. I feel like this app needs to save cable provider info once it’s entered and keep you connected Vs always making you login again — this seems to be where the headache stems from. PS: My issues have nothing to do with internet speeds.

Can’t Take It Anymore!. Been using this app for years. It’s had quite a few different versions and gets worse each time. It crashes frequently, most of the time is only partially able to load any content, and for many months can’t even handle scrolling without getting “stuck” in that article. I’ve never used such an inconsistent, bug-filled app. Golf Channel is part of a major corporation and a major network and yet this is the best they can do?! I am deleting it.

Review. I watch everything I can and enjoy your broadcasts with the exception that there are golfers not named Tiger and they actually play from week to week, would be nice to hear about them. I like Tiger but it is a constant Tiger this and Tiger that. Don’t take away from other golfer’s accomplishments. I am sending this to you on behalf of our men’s group that agree with this recommendation.

What was great is now garbage.. This was a great app now like other have said is the TMZ of golf. The score area is terrible. Player Cards all have the birthday set to January so all the ages are off a year. Some of the years are just flat wrong as well. Same stock golf course picture on all the players. Scrolling through previous rounds is tedious. It doesn’t even list a total for the rounds! Only a total for each 9. The news story navigation has become terrible. This is my first review in 8 years of having an iPhone. I just had to share how bad this once good app has become.

Some good features but Very inconsistent!. Kicks me out randomly when watching short or live videos. The app crashes When typing in my TV provider info. I have to log into my provider every time I want to watch live events and if I get lucky it logs in but crashes constantly.. When I add favorites (players) it’s resets every time I log back in.. you guys have to have a major update on this app . It has a lot of potential but currently it’s terribly inconsistent and tiresome.. all it’s good for is checking scores .. forgot to mention sometimes I have too delete the app and re-download it when it starts to act up badly

The Open. I’m watching The Open on NBC Golf on TV and I’m not sure if NBC knows that there’s more then just Rory Mcilroy, Gary Woodland, and Paul Casey. If you didn’t know people like Rickie Fowler and Si Woo Kim out there have good rounds but because it’s Rory’s home course he’s the only one who’s going to be on TV. Paul Casey might be the only one in that group to make the cut but he’s getting the least amount of tv time because we have the US Open champion and hometown boy out there, so we don’t care about the other people. Also I get it’s in the UK but that doesn’t mean that only people from the UK get to be on TV. I watched a hour of golf and only saw people from the UK. During the US Open there was just a hour of US players on TV.

Golf Channel app. It keeps getting slower getting information updated. I have confirmed my download speed is working efficiently for any other apps. New tournaments coming the next week should be loaded with players by Tuesday of that week. That never happens. The app is telling me I have too many favorites now. Never had an issue before I tried to add. I have reduced them and left the app only to see the same issue when I go back in. Getting worse instead of better.

Disappointing 9 times out of 10. I love the golf channel and have been watching since it was first put on the air. What kills me is the streaming version of golf channel live through the app. It always crashes, and it is rare that I can open it up to watch whatever coverage where the app doesn’t crash or the streaming never freezes. I can be on a strong WiFi or using my cell data and I see the same issues. I would tune in more but the app makes it very difficult to stay connected to the coverage or enjoy what I love most..... Golf.

Golf Info. This is the best site for getting off events and scores and knowledge from that I’ve ever run across. You can keep the selections of your history and look back and see how things have materialized and become better super deal!

Not a Role Model. New update has Woods as the cover boy. I understand he now plays Taylor Made, your sponsor. Some people, me included, believe the past is the past. You have the number 1 ranked player in the world in DJ. He was the cover boy. Why switch? I close my eyes when I see Woods in any venue. I consider him to be a detriment, at this time, to the game of golf. Not a role model for youth, like Arnie, Gary, Tom Watson, Nicklaus, Phil and you insert who you want after those names. I echo, also some of the new layout. Your update was not an improvement.

Has A Mind Of Its Own…. Constantly takes forever to load a page. I get the ‘slow connection’ all throughout the day despite having gigabit internet at home and fast service when I’m out. Everything works fine until I open this app. Saturday I clicked on the leaderboard for The Open and it actually read ‘ no active tournaments to report.’ Lol. No, just a major tournament going on not to mention the Barbasol. Poor performance and constantly crashes. I give it a bogey at best.

Horrible waste. I never write app reviews but this app became so terrible that I just have to share with anyone who has anything to do with the design needs to start over, not try to fix it. There was no way to view anything horizontally on a pad you have to watch things vertically, may have been fixed.....articles are difficult to find....on air personality posts can’t be found simply and can’t be responded to, and on and on. Really it is embarrassing that the single largest source of golf information can’t get its act together. I am using other apps for scoring and golf information more often, hope Taylor Made’s ads are worth it, super tired of Rahm...

App now useless. Articles in News and Opinion don't display at all , just blank white pages with a very small , barely visible animated ellipsis in the center ... as if it's indicating it's trying to load something. I used the app all the time for golf news , now it's useless. Whoever made the latest updates , complete failure *****Comments above were from a year ago , after another terrible update. This update is just as bad or worse. Content is becoming lousy . Social media junk and cheesy pics of pretty women. As everyone notes , it's portrait mode only now , which is useless on an iPad. Whoever the developers are for this app , give them an F for this mess.

First a clunky re-presentation, now portrait mode only. Sigh.... Short version: I accepted the previous version’s redo of the presentation of the app grudgingly thinking I’d get accustomed to it. Now an update comes in and the only layout allowed is portrait. Into the dumper the app goes; I’ll use the web page or another app instead. Long version: I keep the Golf Channel app in my iPad dock as it is, but now was, my go-to golf news app. I also use my iPad exclusively in landscape mode, unless I have no choice for an app I need. The version that was in place for years was, to me, logical, easy to navigate, and gave me the info I needed in the format I liked. Then the n-1 version came out, the articles and sections were redone to the point where it took some effort to find what previously easily was accessed. I thought it was a change I’d get used to over time. Then the current version, #477, came out, and, despite the splash screen presenting in landscape mode, once the content is filled, the screen flips to portrait mode, with no options I can find to override that in the settings panel. Bottom line, the app will leave my dock, the app will be put in the dust bin and I’ll find my golf news elsewhere. It was fun while it lasted.

Pathetic. Worst app upgrade ever. i used to use this app everyday for stories, news, and videos. Now, I only use it when i have to watch the broadcast. It’s just pathetic. Whoever redesign this version seemed to only have graduated from high school and worked as a freelancer as a app designer. I couldn’t read the articles because the letters are too small. I have no way of adjusting it. I can figure out what layout configuration its using for it makes no sense. Everything is put together haphazardly as if by chance. No logic in how things are catergorized. One more time, it is pathetic！

Golf on TV. I always have my iPhone handy when I am watching Golf on TV because when I want to know something about a player I can look on the Golf Channel app and it will give me all kinds of info about the golfer like when he turned pro and how much money he has made Of course there is much more 🏌🏿‍♂️

Content not loading. For about the last week no content is loading at all. Get a load of grey boxes.. that’s it.. I see from reviews I’m not the only one…. UPDATE… I realize now that whoever is responsible for the functioning of the golf channel app has stopped it from being accessed from outside the Continental United States. Cant say for sure about Alaska or Hawaii but I’m in Puerto Rico and as mentioned before I just get a lot of grey boxes where the content should be… But when using a VPN all the content then suddenly appears… This is so ridiculous of the golf channel it’s beyond belief… I’ve called them several times and waiting to hear back… The support page for the app goes nowhere so no luck contacting them there… YO GUYS.. GET IT TOGETHER… In case you didn’t notice people outside the 48 states play golf…

I hate this update!. I mainly use this app to see how my favorite players are doing in a tournament and they would show up at the top before the rest of the leaderboard. You’ve now taken this feature away and I have to scroll through the whole thing to look for them. Please bring that feature back! I will say the display is a lot cleaner but it is definitely hard to read as some others were saying. I wish you would just go back to the previous version.

What happen?. What a terrible update. The app was awesome, 5 stars, before the update. Now it’s harder to get around the app. One of the best features was being able to click on a drop arrow when looking at the scores and finding out information for TV times and course information. Golf channel has done away with that and I am now done with this app. Edit: Furthermore, I go to look at what Romo did this week and they don’t even have squares or circles on the score. It’s like a 12 year old developed this app update.

Pretty pathetic. This app has been excellent in the past. Apparently there’s been a new patch that broke everything because 1) chrome cast doesn’t work at all 2) you can’t watch for more than 10 minutes at the absolute maximum without getting a “mulligan” endless buffering error and 3) very often literally none of the tabs will load even their home screen and redownloading the app does nothing. Extremely disappointing. Seems the problem is also not limited to the app as I have not been able to get the stream on any of my computers either.

The golf channel. The best since update crashes constantly. Please fix. Worst app ever. Crashes at least twice each time I use it. Please fix. It's too slow. I won't use any more until it's fixed. Made a mistake used it again and I was wrong it’s worse than ever . I can’t even find the golf scores. What have you done to this app? It’s terrible.

Very good app. I really like this app which for me works well for watching streaming coverage, and have not experienced any real issues. There are crashes from time to time but, the commercials are too frequent and it's the same ones over and over again. These cause me to turn the sound off most of the time.

Latest update is terrible. I seldom write reviews, but feel the need to comment on this latest update. It is terrible. On scoring - no longer have an option to favorite players. And the default view is to the first round rather than the active round. Why?

Latest V 4.7.0. I’m been using the previous version for what seems forever. I’m an avid golfer and probably use it 3-4 times a day reading about different golfers and general articles about Golf. When a Tournment is being played, I’m on it frequently checking scores etc. I find your new app extremely difficult to use, mainly the print is so small I need reading glasses to navigate through the info. Unfortunately I will have to look for another source to give me the latest information on what’s happening in the professional golf world. This is a prefect example of taking an excellent product and not talking to the users before making changes.

Two things. Firstly- we can’t get it in Australia, secondly- Tiger as good as he is he’s not the only golfer, watching him practice while an event is going on is not acceptable Tiger isn’t bigger than the game Wayne

Content great. Outstanding content....ok functionality with drop down score - that could appear at front to save the search, but other than that it is a fantastic app

What happened with latest update - favourite players gone!!. Have just updated the app and found that my previous list of favourite players is gone!!! And can’t seem to get back.....not such a good update....bring it back.

Other than Tiger. Why is it that Tiger is the only professional playing ? You still have Tiger on your opening page over one month since his last win . Why not Rose or Koepka !

Great coverage on most of the golf world wide. The biggest shame about this app is when they started letting people leave comments on articles, unfortunately what transpires is these "experts " at home who I would say are under educated and far too over opinionated on the various topics feel the need to firstly slay the journalists then attack other people's comments. Just because people have an opinion doesn't necessarily mean it has to be shared It would be a great day if the app said enough is enough no more comments

Almost there .. Pretty good. But videos don't play on iPhone, which is not good enough ! Surely this can be addressed to make an excellent site?

News issue. Since update, can’t view news. It keeps trying to load a video and says native player error. Loved this app prior but now can’t read any articles.

No flags. The new app is really poor. No flags to identify players.

Download now!. What a great app. As a golf fanatic I love to catch up with live scores during each event around the world. The news items and other general interest items on golf provide endless entertainment.

Major. Come on please fix the videos on i phone 4 what does it take? You have been told more than enough times!!! Do you ever read the reviews?

Good for scores. Great for keeping up to date with love scores , maybe a little more info on players and simplified layout would be good; can be kind of hard to use when on the go.

Prettygood!. Really easy to use, only drawback is no search function for instruction videos which would be good to hone in on specific items for correction.

Tells me all I need to know.. I love the details. I would like a bit more detail on the individual player, ranking, FedEx,earnings etc.

Great App. Could be better if we got to see more product reviews than just Nike equipment, other than that its a great app, need more videos and player interviews.

Videos. All seems to work well accept the videos don't work. First version the videos didn't work. Next update they did. Nw they're broken again. I'd use the app much more if the videos worked.

Too slow the App so long to load. Too long loading every time always says no internet connection!!!!!

Much worse update!. Cannot add favourite players in score section. Much worse UI in score appearance, par, birdied and bogey are in same colour!

Tired of same message. App is hopeless. I can’t edit my favourite players anymore, says I have maxed out. Every time I open the app to look at scores. Without fail it says I have a slow internet connection when I don’t. I don’t stream content, can’t if I want to anyway as I’m in Australia. It’s pretty poor really, a pity as it’s a one stop shop to get scores on the main tours around the world.

Golf Channel. Totally love it I can check all the tour scores and watch videos as we don't have much golf on tv in Australia

New version is not as good. New app is rubbish. No favourites. Hard to read the news. Scorecards are difficult to see birdies or bogies. No highlighting key players. .

Old version better. Updated to the new version and it’s nothing like the old one. Can’t work out how to save Favourite golfers so in the scoreboard you see them first, a good feature of the old version. Layout is average - scoreboard is cluttered. Will be finding another golf app

Great app, needs the gross score per round tho.. Great app. New version has lost the gross score per round. Would be good to see what the player scored each round, not just what their score is to par for the tournament.

Poor update. I will delete this app tonight as I am sick and tired of the advertisements throughout each area. Very poor, I used to enjoy this app. #golfchannelgone

Bring back favourites. Have just updated to the latest version of the app and all my favourites have gone, how do you mark a golfer as your favourite now? I cannot find anywhere in the app that allows you to select a favourite like in previous versions when you tapped the star on the left of the players name and they showed at the top of the list. Not a good update at all.

Crash!. Just crashes since last update!

Great. In the videos section it would nice to see some of the golf fix videos. Other than that fantastic little app.

Videos work for me. I just downloaded this app & despite the other reviews, the videos work for me. They take a little while to load, but they definitely play.

Not good. Unfortunately the latest version of this app has big problems. It will not start 95% of the time and if it does start it then crashes soon afterward. Sorry guys but this app in its current form is unusable.

Live feed doesn’t work!. Trying to watch live coverage on mobile device and it isn’t loading at all... please fix

Golf tv. I have attempted many times including seeking new password to cancel. No success. It’s fraudulent. Stay away.

Update is rubbish!. The updated score card is a big step backwards. No favourites and birdies/bogies not marked.

Please fix this app!. The original app before any upgrades worked much better. Every version since is full of bugs and doesn’t work at all. The live stream drops out on loading where it never did before and every page takes too long to load or drops out and goes back to the start. This is by far the worst app I’ve ever used - terrible!

Get you act together. This is supposed to be a premier golf app, but sadly disappoints. It is all about the detail and this app does not deliver. We have had 3 majors since Tiger won Masters but he is still in the front page. Hannah Green won a major and it can’t even have her profile?! Seriously???? Video content not available in Australia. I used to have about 50% success playing video content on golf channel but now it feels like the app is just for USA viewing as none of the video content now plays in Australia. I watch a lot of golf and am so disappointed that I can’t watch player interviews and great moments in golf. The message is now always “Playback mulligan. This content is not available in your location.” This app used to be my ‘one stop shop’ for golf news and views, but not anymore.

Disappointing. I have used this app for many years without any difficulty. Now it loads very slowly and tells me that I have a slow internet connection. This not the case. I can’t add favorite players as it says I have too many, which is also not the case. For a premium product this app needs some serious work.

How can you get it so wrong. The app is also always way behind the live scores. You get the holes mixed up, show the wrong scores and then once the final round is over you don’t update the final scores. All you have to do is focus on one sport….. how do you get it so wrong!

Becoming unusable. Have always liked this app, but recently has become almost impossible to navigate. Half screens; unwelcome videos; unable to scroll; articles not loading; scores not keeping up; etc. etc. Very disappointed in recent updates.

Can not watch live in Canada. Would be nice if we could watch the live shows in Canada. That would be a big improvement.

Golf app. I have a fast internet. Yet the site is extremely slow to load compared to last year.

It is whatever you have selected in OTHER apps that you might have intended to paste in an app of your choosing.

Notables. Listing always “notables” is condescending “ ANYBODY” Whose on the PGA tour is notable. If your on the PGA tour You are one hell of a player. PERIOD. ALSO not allowing viewers to list any favourites with a star, As many as they wish is just plain ridiculous. Who cares how Many favourites you list.

For a premier golf app it needs to be better. Way to slow uploading news, videos and scoring. Crashes constantly and is very unreliable. For the number one golf channel, the app is very poor

Awful UX. The UX in this app is absolutely awful. If you select an article to read on the homepage there is no intuitive way to get back to where you came from. The navigation is just not well thought out.

Golf Channel. This is a decent app but it appears to be reading clipboard data as soon as you open the app. Why? Reading clipboard data for no reason = automatic 1 star.

No Stars. Does not work at all

Canada wants to watch too. It would be nice if we could watch women’s golf LPGA for free like everyone else. Seriously

FIX THE APP. It’s been buggy for literally 2 years I don’t understand how it’s gone on this long. Fix the scoreboards so they show up. Past and present. Fix the home screen so it doesn’t just close the app randomly. The old version was so much less buggy and I’ll give it to you I was patient with this one being new but it has been months and it’s still terribly buggy

LIV Scores. You are the golf channel right? Why do you never post the standings for a LIV golf event? You you that bias? All that is ever posted are negative comments. All major league sports had a competitive league start up, hockey, baseball, football, what makes golf any different?

New updates terrible and no landscape on iPads. New update from a couple weeks ago was much worse aesthetically and the update from 2 days ago is forcing portrait alignment on iPads. Terrible.

Only US watch golf. Who knew that people outside of the US watch golf. Pay for this channel in Canada and can’t watch it live when not at home. Fix this!

Too Slow. Scores will not load

Women Icons in golf!. The number of young girls being influenced by the spectacular golf of our numerous women, both young & older, will surely explode in the years ahead. The remarkable accomplishment of Our Canadian Icon, Brooke Henderson, along with her beautiful personality and family we thank God for!

Waste of Time. The quality of this app used to be great. It is pathetic now. Leaderboards are frequently several holes behind real time action. Waiting to load tournament scores is painful and occasionally a tournament will not load at all.

Nothing works anymore. Your app is useless now. I’ve used it for many years . It is broken now.

Amateur App. Very unreliable app, constant errors and crashing. NBC / Gold channel should have one of the best apps available, not one of the worst. Also very slow to fix the problems.

USA only? Delete app. Not sure how to watch golf if I don’t live in the USA

Always behind and the lpga needs better coverage. Golf channel is always last to post scores, and update tournament’s. There coverage towards the lpga sucks, always in and out with the scores. This app could be better

Scores Page. You only have to update golf scores compared to other sports apps and you can’t even provide scores in real time. The scores are allways two, three holes behind. Pathetic.

Latest update is an abomination. No more thumbnails in News so practically impossible to quickly find news that interests you. There may well other major errors but frankly I don’t want to invest any more time in this piece of garbage. This was my go-to app for following golf but I would love to change as the arrogant, amateurish way they change the app doesn’t deserve any loyalty. Anyone know of a decent golf app?

Slow and lacking information. Don’t understand why the scores aren’t live. They often lag 2 or so holes behind real-time. I’m also not keen that the players first names were removed from scoring.

Horrible App. Horrible app considering it’s Golf Channel and NBC. Often limited tournament info. Like location “United States- Main”. What the hell is that? Player data often missing even for those that have been around a long time. Slow. Delayed scores compared to PGA/LPGA apps. When a round is delayed state why. Not Round in Progress”. Surely this app can be improved.

Updated Golf App. This latest revision to the Golf Channel App is truly awful. It is no longer possible to scan news stories and see which ones have been added since last accessing the app. It seems you need to swipe down through screen after screen of photos to see what looks like a smaller number of stories than before. I am going to look elsewhere to find the latest golf news. This only gets a star because I can’t give it no stars.

Unfortunately, Favorite Players Limited to 30. Rarely use app since it started limiting favorite players to 30 a couple of years ago. Instead of looking at just this app to see how my favorite players are performing in a tournament, I open numerous apps (PGA Tour, LPGA Now and European Tour), because they don’t have this limitation. Many users of the Golf Channel app have the same comment. It seems like an easy fix to keep golf enthusiasts coming to the app, but somebody is dropping the ball.

Need magnifying glass to read names/scores & why is it all about Tiger?. I find the latest update very disappointing. Hard to read the names in the Scores section without a magnifying glass. Each line uses only 20% of the space. I find the News on the Home page very limiting and usually only about Tiger. I mean...there are 150 other guys plus the LPGA. The previous layout worked very well and I can’t figure why you changed it.

Any Better Golf Coverage/Streaming For SmartPhones?. I like it a lot. Of course, it can be improved. To those who rate this App lower, how much time each day do you want to spend with this thing? Unless Mr. Feherty has a great show/interview. I like to check a few things on this App, then actually, Go. Play. Golf.

Lousy excuse for an app. Same problems I’ve had for a long time - great when it works properly (rarely happens) but unwatchable most of the time. The spinning “loading” wheel is very frequent while other times it just “kicks me out” entirely. One would think after all this time and several other similar complaints I’ve seen in the reviews that all this would be solved. Also, the commercials are relentless and painfully redundant....

Blank screen. I’ve had this app for several years. When it works it’s great. But in the past year on my iPad mini and my iPhone 12 the app loads and has no images. The screen just flickers. About a month ago I removed and reloaded on both devices and it solved the issue. Yesterday it worked fine, this morning back to a blank screen. Looks like I’ll remove it again and replace it with a app that works when you want it to.

What is the Opposite of an Improvement?. Where are the circles and squares on the score cards. You wouldn’t play without them on your own scorecard, why did you take that away ? Among other “Non-Improvements”: Removing Favorites Color Scheme is Dull Fonts too small Not well thought out. Also, your ratings totals do not reflect the current comments and current “stars” The Favorites is back, as well as the circles and squares. Those issues should have been caught and fixed before it was released. Thanks for the follow up. One other thing, why do the “missed cut” players have an E on their cumulative score?

Figure out the pop out window. Golf channel does a great job giving us coverage before the actually TV times start, but often times I watch on my phone and I don’t understand why they haven’t been able to figure the video pop out feature so many other apps have. It’s 2022 we should be able to watch a video and also use our phone.

Last update. Latest update (I. Do not like) because I can’t find a favorite player feature like on the old app. If I want to find a players name to see how they are doing I have to search the entire field!!!

Golf Channel. Love the app have a hard time watching the golf channel when all they do is show Tiger when he is not even in the lead you guys show to much of Tiger and not enough of the other players it gets old

Great App. This is a great app that I have been thoroughly enjoying. The content loads very easily and seamlessly. I'm able to navigate all the sections without any problems. The content itself is fantastic. This is a must have for avid golfers.

Wish it had bug reporting mechanism or support. Really enjoy the app when it works. Sadly always riddled with bugs. For weeks I haven’t been able to scroll through articles as one example. Wish there was a way to report bugs so that the app could continue to improve as well as remain stable.

Poor Streaming Performance. I’m so disappointed in this app for streaming coverage. It seldom works, and when it does, it’s slow and clunky compared to apps like ESPN or CNN. Most of the time, I end up so frustrated that I close it out and go to one of the others. Also, why doesn’t it rotate in both directions when I put my phone in landscape mode? That’s a small annoyance, but symbolic of its second rate characteristics.

Go back. The new versions’ scores section is much worse than the previous version which was becoming quite excellent. The absence of TV times, following players, and about this tournament makes my use of the app much less interesting.

What Happened?. The app used to be so good but after the “upgrade” it’s a disaster. On most attempts it won’t even open. I can’t get scores, can’t get news, can’t access anything. I’ve tried everything (shutting down my device, deleting and reloading the app etc.) but nothing works. This used to be my go to app for golf. Not anymore. Please fix it.

Slow and buggy. An app that keeps getting worse. The previous major update gave us the looong view of DJ when you start the app. Then frequent crashes when viewing articles. Now the latest update has HUGE pictures everywhere and you must scroll and scroll to find actual articles in the news section. Giant step back in usability. I use the app less and less.

Crap app. Start early if you want to watch a tournament. Also, update your app. App won’t update itself and will kick you off. Sad coding. You think these guys would be able to hire decent programmers.

Go back to prior version!. This update is the worst change ever. You can’t find anything and the pictures are blurry when scanning the news. Who coded this thing??!! I use the app daily and this really has been disappointing. When reviewing scores there isn’t even a total score shown for each round, and you can’t see all 4 round score on any page. Very hard to find the lessons videos and social snapshots. Please release a new version and go back to how it was.

App not working for watching. App not working for watching and web access will only route to the app that doesn’t work. It seams that the business model is causing viewers to change our viewing habits to other interests. More Netflix’s. Commercials are 5 minutes for sometimes 1 minute of golf coverage. I will find something else to watch. We can change our viewing habits. We as consumers will get together and force change. Look what happen to Blockbuster video.

Frustratingly bad. Score updates are way late. ESPN faster for golf scores. Links frequently don't take you to the right place. It seems difficult to be this bad. Hire some better help or do you just not care?

Golf channel updates. The new update is horrible. Used to be able to track specific players, no longer. Quick view of scores used to quickly show birdies and bogeys. Will no longer issue it

Worst Update Ever!!. This has to be one of (if not THE) worst app updates ever! Takes forever to load new data. Can’t read the full names of the golfers on my iPhone. Sorts players by first name...WHAT!? What was wrong with the previous version? This seems like an update for no particular reason, except to keep the app developers employed.

Bring back the photos. I don’t know where they went but I really miss the photos. This app has always been good for it’s complete coverage of the game and the industry as well as the leaderboards. But I really miss the photos.

Playback/Streaming Issues. I try to watch golf using the app, but get an error every time. It says “cannot parse m3u8.” Not sure what the issues are causing the streaming issues but it’s frustrating. Even when I turn airplay and Bluetooth options off, it still tries to display on my tv (not trying to watch on the tv), which interrupts streaming resulting in the “cannot parse m3u8” and “playback failure” messages.

New app version. Some of the changes are fine but please bring back the option to mark favorites in the scoring section. Also on the players scorecard, bring back circling birdies,double circles for eagles, squares for bogies, etc. not everyone can read the small print and this helps. What is the -3 symbol for scores supposed to mean?

Awful update. Sometimes it’s just better to leave well enough alone. This is one of those times. Changing layouts for no reason or benefit and on top of it not allowing landscape mode. Should be a better setup menu in options. Just a mess.

What happened?. I've never written a review, but have to say that the app has changed so that I will probably delete it. I like to chose my 'favorite' players and watch their progress during a tournament. Now I'm not even able to select my favorites; I have to search through the listing to find them, whereas before my favorites would be at the top of the list. With all apps, each update seems to make the apps worse.

No fantasy Golf. I guess you have heard enough by now about not having fantasy golf leagues on your app this year. You’d think part of supporting golf and your app would be to give viewers another reason the watch the PGA Tour, which is covered by Golf Channel and NBC. I guess Comcast is putting their money into other more important areas, or doing some corporate expense cut crap. I guess I should thank you, now I can get out and exercise instead of watching golf on TV!

US Women’s OPEN. US WOMENS OPEN getting tv coverage the LPGA deserves, just not often enough. Someone at GC must know how much money is generated by women consumers. As the USGA/GC and LPGA has stated with #Womenworthwatching it’s time to keep it going for next season. Thank you but we should get more...

Change is not always a good thing. The new Golf Channel app is horrendous. Scoring no longer highlights birdies and bogies, Videos do not always play and news articles do not always load. You would think this was a Government web portal

Worst update ever. I love change and embrace it....most of the time. I can honestly say this update is the worst I have ever seen. I will start looking for other ways to get my golf news and current scores. I feel like this ap just went backwards. I’m hoping enough bad reviews will wake someone up in that organization.

Report Golf not politics. Loved watching the GC until Brandel and Ian came unglued with their hatred toward the LIV Tour and the players ! Golf Channel should be promoting golf at all levels ! The channel has become very liberal in their views ! I used to love Brandel with his wit and history! NO MORE! Ian was always a funny character but I enjoyed his insight. NOT NOW! Get a grip guys! Anytime you see youngsters, women, family, handicapped, minorities learning the game with a smile… that’s promoting and teaching the game! The game of golf will survive, it’s bigger than all of us !!!

Horrible upgrade. This has to be in the top ten of worst upgrades I've seen. The print is small and hard to read. I haven't been able to review past rounds a player has played. I thought an upgrade was suppose to be an upgrade. Bad miss on this one.

Chi Chi and Jack playoff. Does anyone remember when these guys had a 18 hole playoff 25 or more years ago ? It would make a great special on the golf channel and can’t believe they haven’t done it yet. Can the people at the golf channel please get this done ?

Bring back the older version. This new update is horrible! No more ability to star favorites and when checking and individuals score it no longer let's you know visually whether he got a buffet, birdie, or par. Terrible!!!!!

Age. Watching for a couple years and it is my go to channel for relaxing. Appreciate that there are no blaring commercials. Might be I do not understand that the age of players is constantly being hammered over your airwaves. I have not noticed it in other sport commentators. Why is age always top subject especially regarding performance. ?

Poor update. The latest format is portrait only. I want to view in landscape but can’t. The updated version is difficult to navigate as well. The Golf Channel does not publish player winnings with final scores. What a silly policy. They never have for some unknown reason. To find winnings, you must go to ESPN or FoxSports for that news. Ridiculous policy!

Bogey.... Not the most exciting app. I use it to get up-to-date scores on every tournament being played. Too much fluff. There are pics of the male golfers actually playing and why of the woman golfers posing? Real well-written articles are needed. Insightful knowledgeable writers are needed.

Awful update. I liked the old version before this. I get that improvements can always be made but this new version is one of the worst updates I have ever seen. It's hard to navigate. The layout is ridiculous. Did you even test this with some beta users? How did this get pushed out. Folks, this is just horrific. Come on, you can do better. I'll be looking to others who cover golf because this new version is a nightmare mess.

So far loving it. So far I am loving this app/channel. I am new to this sport and can not seem to get enough of this great sport! And this app is helping with my learning. The only regret that I have is that I did not discover this sport sooner now that I am 52

Well...... Maybe it’s just me but was looking for rankings. Couldn’t find them. Even if it was me it should be easier to find. Haven’t been on this app in awhile. I see why. These days there’s no reason for any app to be clunky and not intuitive. Smooth and clean. That should be the main focus. Why some developers get it and some don’t. I can get all the info I need for golf on my regular sports app.

Terrible App. Unbelievable that Golf Channel would settle for this piece of crap. Too often not even available. Monday Scramble sometimes doesn’t even get written. Tap the News section: Nothing there! Slow to get new content up. Ridiculously short pieces (that’s right Rex Hoggard). I keep coming back but not sure how much longer. Stupid.

Playback mulligan after logging in with Dish. Error authenticating tells me to log out which I have tried several times and even did a password reset of my cable provider account. Fix this please, If I need to upgrade cable package then tell me that instead of giving an ambiguous message that could be interpreted as there is an error.

Happy for TV. Just downloaded app after being without connectivity or even power for over two months. I live on St. Thomas, VI and cable will be down for many more months. Great to see CBS again!

Disappointment. The new update is very disappointing. It’s very hard to find results in a consistent manner. I’ve also seemed to have lost tracking my favorites. Also where did all the tournaments go for the different groups...lpga,seniors,web,..very hard to find.

Presentation. I understand you want good looking girls to deliver the message about golf and the new young players. However, I’m tired of the British accent. Spend more money on tracking equipment so that we can see the flight of the ball. If the announcers were past players I would take more time listening to what is being said.

Please fix the Back Button!. I really like the app, but it is annoying to constantly have to scroll back down to the next story after reading a story and going “Back.” Other news apps remember your place so that this isn’t necessary.

Crashes and Profiles. It constantly crashes on my Apple devises,even immediately after updates. I would sure like to see player profiles especially since a lot of new talent making news on Tour. Tom-North Carolina

Don’t Like New App. Had used the previous App for years with no complaints. When new app was released - thought it was just the change ... would give it time. Have given it months - still don’t like it.

New version isn’t better than the old one.. Doesn’t show our favorites on the scoreboard so now we have to scroll through all the scores....don’t know why you deleted this feature.
