Please update!. My daughter LOVES this app; however, we recently updated her iPad and the app isn’t compatible with the software update 😔. We were totally bummed to learn that she could no longer use this app until it’s updated! Help my girl out!! 😊🙏🏼

Does not work with new up date ios11. I updated my i-pad recently but now the game dose not cope with the update please fixes this my grand-kids are vary up set and if you do not fix this they will be mad and you don’t want to make them mad now do you ,!!! But other than that the game is awesome and the kids really like it so please please please fix’s it or they will be vary vary mad

Unplayable. My kids are heartbroken. The whole reason they begged me to buy this app was to write stories with Mo...but when the Bus Driver asks for their name (to begin the game) it doesn’t hear them. I couldn’t even get him to hear me, and there is no option to type your name in...so it won’t allow them to play. Siri hears us just fine! What a waste of money. Big fans of Mo, but not this app. 🙁

Really fun game but just needs a little more updates. I really like the game so much that you need more updating it because the only thing you can really do is draw pictures and like make stories I really still like it though but you just need to update it a little more often it’s super fun again but it just needs more updating because those are the only things you can really do in it.

Not worth the money. I got this for my 3yr old because she loves the books. There isn't much to it, only one story where you change a word here or there. The pigeon's voice is also annoying and I hate the repeated "NO"s. I have no idea who is writing up all of the 5 star reviews on this but I suspect a few people who are getting paid.

At this rate, the pigeon WILL rule the world..... My 2.5 year olds new favorite app. He's getting he hang of recording answers, and loves all three story modes. It makes him giggle like a fiend. Don't let the price scare you, it's totally $6 worth of fun!

App did not work for us -- would not record voices. This app was expensive AND did not work. There is a feature where it asks your kid to record their voice as part of a new story. We tried many times but it did not pick up either my child's voice or mine consistently. Very disappointing. We bought it b/c we are fans of Mo Willems. He should stay away from Disney.

Awesome App!. My children, ages 5 and 7 love this book! It keeps them preoccupied for at least 45min while I cook dinner. They love making their own stories and listening to the play back! An awesome and creative book! I highly recommend this book.

Not worth it. Below is a review of the app from my daughters. My 7 year old used h r own money and is so disappointed with the game she wants her money back. "Hello. We have some complaints about the pigeon game. First off it's boring. By boring I mean there's really not that much to do. Also add more fun games like an activity book mazes with the pigeon. Second every story is exactly the same and could u please use a skip button so we don't have to listen to the bus driver every time. Third on the drawing part please include some other characters from your other Mo William's books. Thank you for reading this".

Best game ever played. If your going to spend your money on something, spend it on this. This is the best 6$ I have ever spent in my life. You won't regret it. It offers experiencing the life of a pigeon through Mo Williams eyes. If you get this, you won't regret it!

I love it. It was so great it helps you were in a lesson and you can make your own stories it was so great so you should download it it was so great I’ve no idea why and I got to draw my own pigeon isn’t that crazy are used to have that this app when I was a kid and I deleted it it was so fun so now I’m 18

Great app, but needs email support!. This app is wonderful, but I would love the ability to send the favorite stories to my email address and keep them forever. I'm scared my toddler is going to overwrite the fun stories we made together and I would love to have them to keep permanently. I'll add a star if this feature ever gets added.

I can't find the microphone. It says "say your name and push this button when you're ready",we say it into the microphone Yet it doesn't work!Please fix this.

Great game but add some stuff. I love this game so does my dad but I don’t think it should be $5.99 and maybe you could add more story lines and characters maybe you could even record your own storylines btw you don’t have to take my ideas but it would be cool so have a nice day

Like this but one thing I do not like. I love the app me and my brother do this all day and there’s one thing I do not like I wish it was not just don’t let the pigeon I wish it was also like the pigeon has to... but the rest is awesome 😎

Don't Let the Pidgeon Run this App. I had the same problem and contacted support and they replied very quickly with a solution. "Be sure that you've enabled the app access to your device's microphone. You can check this setting by opening the Settings app, clicking "Privacy", and then "Microphone". Mine somehow got turned OFF during the latest IOS upgrade.

Thanks for updating!. Thank you for finally updating this app to the newest iOS system. My kids have been asking repeatedly to play it again! They have a lot of fun with this app, though I do wish it did more for the $4.99 price tag. We are big fans of everything Mo Willems!

Maybe more stories. Everything is great but the problem is you can only make a limited amount of stories which is stupid maybe have unlimited amounts of stories? Just some advice

LOVE IT. I loved reading these books when I was in third grade and when I found out about this I had to check it out, This app is really cute I like how it’s about the “pigeon and bus” book part but my favorite pigeon book is “don’t let the pigeon eat the cookie” I think it was something like that, No suggestions I just wanna say it’s a good app for all ages 😁

Geat fun!. My four-year-old som loves this app! It's easy to use and the customization makes the story fun every time. My son also loves the 'how to draw the pigeon' part. The other night he drew the pigeon using crayons and paper and did the whole narration just like Mo does. I have not laughed so hard in a long time. It's great!

To every Karen out there that has a problem. To every Karen out there that has a problem, don’t just 1-star. Get help from me. In this review, I will cover two common problems with this app. If the microphone doesn’t work and/or the bus driver can’t hear you, reinstall the app and allow microphone permissions in Settings -> Don’t Let The Pigeon Run This App! and turn on Microphone. If the bus driver still can’t hear you, get closer to any of the speaker grills on the device or use EarPods that have a built-in microphone. If the app doesn’t start, your iPad has insufficient CPU or RAM power to run the app. Get another iPad with at least 1 gigabyte of RAM (for example, iPad Air 1 or newer, or iPad Mini 3 or newer) and with iOS 9.3 or later from somewhere and the problem is fixed. There. Now everybody gets to respect the drip. Also, if this review helped, make sure to rate this as helpful! ;)

Can not download on my other device in the same account. Looks like few crazy guys developing this app. I just can not download on my other device in the same account, though you can share any app with 6 family members☹️☹️☹️

Does not record. This app does not record. It will ask my daughter to say something like what is your favorite snack.. and it would not recognize that she was saying something. This app was not expensive but for a $5 app, you would think it would run properly. I have downloaded it several times. Uninstalling several times and still doesn’t work. I am disappointed because my daughter had almost read every book from the Pigeon series.

Love it!. Me and my 4 1/2 yr old daughter absolutely loved it!! I stumbled upon this app tonight and we didn't want to put it down. Looking forward to creating more stories with my daughter. As one reviewer mentioned, it would be nice if there were other ways to save more than just the 6 favorites.

Read this review for microphone issues!. I almost didn’t let my daughter get this app because of the issues noted. But I found a fix! Unlike other apps, this doesn’t automatically ask you for permission to use the microphone. You have to download the app then go in to your phone settings—privacy—microphone and then click for the app to have access to the microphone. She has enjoyed the interactive nature of the app!

Needs more.... Cute app. We had some good laughs here at home, but the one storyline got old quick. We hoped the three books were various pigeon stories but they were just scaffolded versions for various ages. The drawing is fun but again, you only get to draw one thing. For the price, I expected a lot more.

Please Let the Pigeon Do More in this App!. Please let the pigeon do more on this app! C'mon! I gave you more than five bucks. It's a cute app, and my kids get a few giggles. However, it doesn't do a lot. There is one simple story line repeated back with your additions, like voice-recorded Mad Libs. You can also draw the pigeon with Mo, but that's it. There is very limited play value for the money. We hope you'll update with new story lines, Mo characters to draw, a chance to animate your drawing, read alongs of a pigeon book, or video clips or something else. (Your app developer would let you. True story.)

Buggy or just plain doesn’t work.. Mo Willems should be ashamed of this. The Create A Story feature is completely broken. It just freezes on the loading screen. And there’s not much beyond that, other than a Draw the Pigeon feature, but that’s over in like five minutes. Stick to the books and steer well clear of this.

Just needs one but fun. It is really fun but I think it just needs one more thing you should be able to do whatever you want to say but it is still pretty fun.

Good app!. I am seven and it could use more choices in the storyline, but I have fun drawing. I also like hearing my voice in the story and using my own words. It could be cheaper tho! My son used his own money for this as I think it’s WAY to expensive for what it is, but he has fun with it.

More than disappointing - a complete waste of $ 😡. I should have believed the negative reviews of this app. The animation helping kids to draw the pigeon for the first time is cute - but I already knew how to teach my students how to draw the pigeon. The create a story function appears to be broken - just doesn't work at all. The Disney website says that there are no plans to update the app - it would have been helpful if that was made clear in the app description. I wish there were some way I could get my money back. I will be deleting this app from my iPad as it is a waste of space. I was hoping for something so much better given the association with Mo Willems 😕

Great idea but needs more content. My two kids (and I!) love the Pigeon books and cartoons. This is a great idea for an app; basically, your kid records his/her voice and it plays a story like a mad lib with whatever topics they choose. The problem is there’s only one story, and it gets old pretty quickly. The entirety of app is that story and a single drawing lesson from Mo Willems. While I’m very happy this has a single price and no in-app purchases, and I like supporting the author, for six bucks I hoped for more content.

Pretty fun. This game is fun no matter how old you are but I would make a few changes….. one: make the game a little longer.(you can’t really do much) two: I personally would make it a game where you add more things maybe each week or two weeks.(there is no really a lot to play. However, the game randomly end after completing the 3 or 4 short games

Deserves 5 Stars 😜. First off, this game is great. I got it for my sister and she loves it. I have no complaints, but one suggestion. For the voice recording, I find it cute but kind of annoying that the Pigeon always says “I have a frog in my throat.” I think the app should kind of make your voice sound like the Pigeon’s. I know this is complained about often, but THE BUS DRIVER NEEDS A SKIP BUTTON!!! I listen to him OVER and OVER and it also gets annoying! I know the app won’t have further updates, but I just wanted to point this out in case minds are changed. Other than that, the game is fantastic. My sister and I put all sorts of wacky things into the stories. The game is awesome and it deserves five stars. If you’re reading this, please don’t listen to the bad reviews. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Wonderful app, but one suggestion.... My son loves this app. He will make stories over and over again and laugh the entire time. I've recommended this app to other teachers and librarians who have younger kids. One suggestion would be to put in a export or share feature so that we could keep favorite stories. Keep the Mo Willems apps coming!

Don't Let The Pigeon Run This App. I purchased this app for my 5 year old granddaughter. She is a fan of Mo Willems and so am I. She loves creating the stories and hearing them played back. However, the options are repetitious and there is only one story. At $5.99, there should be additional story options. Please add more choices.

The bus driver has bad hearing. I love this app because you can make your own Pigeon story’s but the bus driver has bad hearing because I have to say what he tells me to say but I have to say it like 3 or 4 times and it’s annoying if this did not happen I would give this app 5 stars.

My son was excited, but became disappointed. My five year old son was really looking forward to downloading this app. We had some fun with the first few stories, but he quickly caught on that the “no’s” you yell at the pigeon were not activated by him. He was disappointed and said he wished he could yell the “no’s” himself. I think this would be more fun if the microphone detected sound and activated the “no’s” based on the child’s interactions. He told me he really wants this fixed, so I thought to submit a review.

A good game.. As a lot of reviews say, this app needs updates. I was completely able to play the game on many different IPad versions. I enjoyed the game but it lacked well, extras. It is made for young kids after all. (Not saying adults or any age for that matter can't get the game and play it.) My opinion is that this game is good, BUT IT NEEDS AT LEASET ONE UPDATE. Thank you and goodbye.

Brilliant, one of the best books on the app store. As a long time fan of mo willems, he is the most requested author in my primary school classroom, this app is simply sensational and has eased my students anxiety regarding when the next pigeon book will be released! The animation and voices are fantastic, only down side is some pigeon animation moves get repetitive after a few stories even if the content is different, other than that, this is a must download and one of the best animated books on the app store. (great to see elephant and piggie get a mention in the app as well)

Love it!. I teach a Grade 2 class and this app is by far the Kid's favourite! Whenever I hear giggling and laughter coming from the classroom tent it is a pair of kids making up another pigeon story. We also made a whole class story incorporating the principal which the children then took up and played to our principal! Every child in my class last year learnt to draw the pigeon by using the easy to follow guide on the app. What I really want to know is when are using realising another app it has been a few years?

Don't let the pigeon make you buy this app!. Not enough value for the cost. At this price I expected to get way more content. It's really not worth $4.99. I wish I could get at least $4 of it back because at $0.99 it wouldn't feel as big of a rip off.

Upset it won’t work on update.. My children love love love this app!! They play so nicely together. My two year old has figured out how to make stories and shake the pigeon. So I am devastated for them that with the update I can no longer give them their favourite app. Plus they lost all the stories and drawings they saved in it. They will never get those back but I hope the app is updated so I can reinstall it for them. They will truly miss it.

Great app. My students love this app. They enjoy creating their own pigeon stories. I like the three different levels so it works for students of all ability levels. I hope they make apps for more of Mo's books. I'd love an Elephant and Piggie app. Would have given 5 stars but it is a bit over priced.

Looked good but.... My kids are huge Mo Willems fans. This app looked like it would be really fun but I find it overpriced for what it does. It is cute but repetitive. In addition, we seem to keep having problems with it crashing in the drawing mode particularly when they try to do the drawing with Mo. This is the case on both the iPhone 4 and iPod touch 3G. Even if the bugs were fixed I would probably only give the app 3 stars because of the price.

My son loves this but not updated to ios11. It is really awful that people paid for an app and a developer refuses to update disappointing children. Shame on you.

Outstanding. My kids are convinced this is the greatest app ever. Repeatability is limited only by the kids' imagination - they've been playing for a week straight and are still killing themselves laughing. Stays very true to the spirit of the great pigeon books. We hope to see more from Mo (looking for knuffle bunny).

May be good for younger kids. Quality and nice looking game, would be good, but repetitive, for 3 y.o. Not for older kids. And even with the discount it is too much.

Great App. My child loves this app! She is a Mo Willems fan, so great to have. She likes that you can create your own book and hear it play out.

Make sure u allow mic access. I've trained my kid well. He automatically didn't allow mic use and we spent the next 10min trying to yell his name in the mic.

Cute, but won't record. We love Mo Willems and were so excited about this app. It will not record our voices, however, so isn't any fun at all. My kids just got frustrated. How do I get our money back?

About 5 minutes of entertainment. A cute idea, but has very little replay value. Also, it’s not designed to run on the iPhone 6, and shows up with black bars (letterbox) on the sides of the screen.

Settings?. After my 4 y-o kid chose not to give access to the microphone while I wasn't paying attention, the app doesn't work without it, and there is no settings page where you can turn it on. Very frustrating.

Good! Love!. The game is so fun! But it stopped letting me do them. Like every time I tapped a button to continue, it teleported me back to the screen to choose what to do. Love it though!

Thanks for nothing, Disney and Apple. I have a choice—update to iOS 11 and loose the cute drawings and stories that my kid made a few years, or keep an out of date operating system on my device in perpetuity. No export function and no iOS 11 update=a very disappointed customer who regrets buying this app.

No longer supported by Disney. This app is no longer supported and much of the functions won’t work on newer devices especially the iPhone iPad etc. it’s a little pricey for some thing that doesn’t do much!

Record feature does not work. Very disappointed that I paid over $5.00 for this app and at the end of the "Chick" story, my daughter can not record her name. As a result, she can't finish the story. Not sure if others are having this problem, but hopefully it will be fixed. Yes, I checked to make sure my microphone was working

Doesn't work. This is a great app...we have used it before on a friends iPad but for some reason it does not hear us on ours. I just downloaded it and am very disappointed I spent $$ on something that doesn't work correctly! This needs to be fixed.

App does not work.. My daughter loved this app but ever since upgrading the software on my iPhone 5, we are having the same problem described in the previous review... It never hears us when trying to record us speaking. Please fix!

OMG THE GAME IS SO GOOD!!!. I really like the game because you can record your own voice and the the pigeon even says what you recorded thanks for making the app and I thank Mo Willems for writing the books.

Unplayable. My kids are heartbroken. The whole reason they begged me to buy this app was to write stories with Mo...but when the Bus Driver asks for their name (to begin the game) it doesn’t hear them. I couldn’t even get him to hear me, and there is no option to type your name in...so it won’t allow them to play. Siri hears us just fine! What a waste of money. Big fans of Mo, but not this app. 🙁

Terrible. For $5 there should have been way more to do. Also, the microphone portion didn't work so my child couldn't record the personalized story. I know it wasn't my phone, it was the app. What an absolute expensive waste.

Doesn’t Work in iOS 11. My daughter loves this app but the developers haven’t updated it to work with iOS 11. I paid for this app just a few months ago and now it won’t even open. Please update!

Just. I don’t really play this anymore. So this game used to be my favorites when I was four! Now I’m older. I don’t really play it. That’s why I’m writing a 3. I like this app just. A little bit hard!!!!!!!!

Share?. This says the app can be shared with family members. Exactly how is that accomplished? I tried the share feature but all it did was give my Grandson the option to buy the app again, after I already paid for it!

Very repetitive. This app has zero variety. The story line never changes. Only the child's wording. 3 stories created & he was bored. Very disappointed. The price & ratings make you think you are getting so much more. I'll take a refund. Thanks but no thanks.

From the perspective of a 6 year old. This is the best app than any other apps. I’ll give it a 5 star rating.

I love it but...😑. I love it but it needs more activities😋it's an awesome app because you get to make stories and draw the pigeon😋I LOVE IT BUT IT NEEDS MORE GAMES 😕I really hope they do an update
