Herald Sports. Great app! Living in Florida now I depend on the this app to keep up to date on my favorite sports teams. This app is very easy to navigate and I rarely have any problems with it.

My app is frozen. I’ve deleted it and restarted. Still nothing! Rebooted my phone. Tried App Store. Help!

App For Pads. Finally, an on line tool for the reader not the writer. Very intuitive and easy to navigate. Very easy to navigate. Perhaps a little to sensitive when scrolling up or down a summary page. Maybe provide more open space between columns.

Must have for any true Patriots fan!. Personally, I prefer the Herald's sports writers. With this app you get all the columnist & every imaginal Patriots coverage available. The only reason I'm rating 4 stars is there are ads in this paid app & I hate that. It's still worth the price but the ads do take up some valuable screen space & change so often they can be distracting. Also, why is location constantly on while the app is running?

Overseas review. I rely on the Boston Herald's Sports APP to keep up to date with the NFL Playoffs. I might not get to watch the Patriots play until the Super Bowl if they make that far. I trust that the Herald's Sports APP will provide me with a clear picture of the stats of the game along with other sports related stories. Thanks from Portugal Sharon, MA

Nicely done. This app is very well designed, easy to us. Like how it is organized so you can either pick a team / sport, top articles, columnists etc. big improvement versus going to their "mobile" website which was terrible.

Why no updates. Articles have not been updated in over 2 weeks

My first source for local sports. I usually check this site before the game and later that night There are always multiple stories about the game from a variety of angles.

Herald Sports. How about going back and report on new sports news? Are you going to ever become what you used to be?

Freezes up way too often and takes too long to clear.. I used to like this site, but when I'm done writing this review I'm deleting it. The app will allow you to open a story, but will then attempt to open too many ads so the page freezes. I'm sick of reading a story halfway through and then not being able to scroll down to continue the story. So good luck I'm out!

180 degree improvement. I stopped reading BH sports because the app froze within two minutes, every time it was used. It just wasn't worth the hassle to follow BH sports, given the aggravation and constant re-booting, and I found other sources of sports news, (ESPN/Boston). I've used this new app for about three weeks and it hasn't crashed a single time. This is a 180 degree improvement over all prior BH sports apps. I am back to the BH for sports news now.

What’s going on here?. No new articles or updates since first week of May 2020.

Must Have App for Any New England Sports Fan. If you can stomach the daily dose of liberalism by Buckley and others with your sports this app is for you! I knew for years that you couldn't pick up a newspaper in Massachusetts without the Socialist / Communist black stain rubbing off in your head like the filthy ink of every rag in the state. Now, these racist elites won't stop at taking 60 to 70% of a working man's pay, they've taken away our sports... it's what we feared as children 50 years ago... we might live in Russia where there is no freedom of the press... just government news. Keep politics out of sports. Trying to string up Brady and Belichick for being loyal to a their friend Donald Trump is insane and shows how self-righteous communist s are!

Great app!. Smooth functioning, links always available. Very easy to navigate. Content is well-written and insightful. I live in California so the Herald gives me information I ordinarily wouldn't have access to.

Excellent. Excellent layout in this app. Was surprised to see my local weather on the app but it is better and more accurate than the local stations and papers. Very easy to read and up to date.

Boston love. This is the page I wake up to every day. Gotta have me some Herald in the morning always the best writers and stories. I love the Boston Teams but even if you are not a Boston fan the quality and objective opinions of the Herald Sportswriters can't be beaten by any other paper in the country.

This app.. I love this app period !

Great for scores & highlights. I am a Boston sports fan (Sox especially) and this app is excellent for the likes of us. However it also provides scores & highlights for non-Boston teams, e.g., full MLB results every night. UI is nice too. And of course hard to beat the price. I've got several general sports apps (CBS, etc) but this one is my favorite.

Well worth it. Great app! User friendly layout, with the option to look at league stories, standings, and schedules, or Boston-specific sports news and stats. Highly recommended for any New England sports fan.

Massaholics. This seems to be the best on-line Sports coverage I've found.

Curb Steve Buckley. Read The Herald Sports page everyday, because I love Boston teams. But I am sooo tired of Buckley's insistence to search for every possible way to insert his liberal political beliefs and digs at Trump (and whoever may support him) into every article he writes. OK, you are a flaming liberal, that's fine you are entitled to your beliefs. But why should I be subjected to them when I'm just trying to follow my teams. Just STOP or move from covering sports to politics. Then you can write all the snide comments promoting your liberal philosophy that you want and I can choose to not read it. But constantly slipping your political commentary into "sports" articles makes it impossible for me to enjoy following my Boston teams in the Herald Sports section.

Home news when your not at home. Great app, allows you to stay on top of Boston sports if you live out of the area. Gives news flash updates. Works awesome on both iPad and iPhone.

Herald phone app, get it!. Great app. Easy on the eyes, easy to navigate and full of information. The layout is interesting and it allows for quick and easy location of the sections you want to read. In many apps, much of your time is spent just trying to find what you are looking for. That is not the case here. It is worth your time and effort.

Great ap!. I've downloaded so many news aps over the years only to delete them because they just weren't user friendly. This one is different! It's easy and clean and has everything, not just sports.

Great app but a thousand ads kid it. Being born and raised in New England and moving all around the Country for my job I need news apps like this to keep me up to date with my teams. It's a great app but cmon. All of those ads in the app are senseless and most are rather redundant. Give me the option to buy this ad free and I will. Till then I simply can't use this app due to the multitudes of ads as you scroll the news. Sorry.

Please no ads!!!!. Im just starting to noticed notice that ads are being added on your app. I left the last sports app because it became full of ads instead of info and became frustrating! Please don't lose your vision which is to bring the sports world New England news! I don't want to leave I like it here but if I have to start avoiding ads left and right I will. Garbage unsupported. They haven’t updated the news on this app in over a year why is it even functional or is it somehow running something illegal I. The background on your phone or iPad. Maybe they are big brother

Good content. Lousy performance.. I enjoy the writing and Boston perspective but have to reinstall this thing at least 35 times in the last year. 3rd time this week. No other app has had this problem on my iPhone 8.

Ads on a paid app?. It's a good application, but these guys need to figure out the revenue model, i.e., have a free app that has ads, and a paid app with no ads (like all the other apps). I shouldn't have to see Ads after paying; otherwise I'd rate this higher. Also, poorly designed when it comes to loading articles. If you switch away, even for a few seconds, say to read a text, when you switch back, you must wait for the entire app and story feeds to reload. Sometimes over 3G this can take a while. I really think that whoever made this app doesn't use it themselves, because if they did, they'd if that.

Herald site. Being so far from home this site still lets me check in with my Boston teams. It's easy to navigate & the updates are done in a timely manner.

Needs a direct page link from PushNotification. Good to see the Big Dig isnt the only project bringing Boston out of Colonial times! Well laid out and fairly up to date. The only element I wish was implemented, is the ability to be directly linked to the story you were sent a Push Notification for. There's a lot content, which is fantastic, but too much, often, when I'm simply in search of a quick update. Honestly my only complaint.

News from home. Boston area born and raised sports fan appreciates the wide coverage while stuck in Yankee country (Long Island) since 1976!! It's been hard. Enjoy up-to-date news on all 'my' teams!

Really like but could be better.. As a native who moved away this is a great source to get my favorite sports teams info and commentary/perspective ...however the info and updates are not always the most current. Sometimes it is quicker/easier to get scores and recaps from other sites.

Useful. Although I left New England 20 years ago, I still follow the teams, particularly the Pats. I like the layout and function of the app which allows to scroll through a story with vertical swipes and from story to story with horizontal swipes.

Great app. This is an excellent App. It's easy to navigate and always up to date. It's the first place I go to when looking for the latest on all my Boston teams.

Cut the video intro. I like the app, it's great. But if I am listening to podcasts and open the app it's stops my podcast to run the opening BH video. Please just let us pick where to go without the intro. Tx.

Could be a Great App with some Tweaks. Agree w/ Horace about bloatware, except I have a slightly higher opinion about the quality of reporting. Yes, there is some Disneyland writing, but if you look hard, you will find hard hitting analysis. One cosmetic issue: There are more typos than there ought to be.

Boston sports. Being originally from the Boston area, I love the total coverage this app gives, from hockey to baseball! Articles, scores, standings and more!! Love it!

Wish it worked offline. Love the app but wished it worked offline like the USA today. I travel a lot and would like read it on the plane.

Sweet. Great in-depth articles on all the Boston sports teams. The degree of available stats that they had during the Patriots season was very impressive as well. I look forward to following the Bosox on this app during the upcoming season.

BHS. I like reading the sports section. I enjoy reading articles written by Buckley, Borges, and the rest. Bruins section is ok. I recently watched a game in Columbus. I read the game write up and was left wondering what game the reporter saw. Generally, I think the reporters do a good job of reporting...

Sloooow to load, bloated app. This used to load fast but now takes forever to load. Stories too predictable with lots of fluff for the most part. Occasionally some good writing but has deteriorated over the years. No need for regular news stories and weather, etc. should return to sports only and not have so much fluff esp on individual players.
