New update made it harder to use, but is still quality. I had used this calculator often due to its drastic improvements over purchasable individual calculators, to the point where this has become my go-to calculator. However, the new update has changed the layout in such a degree that I can no longer reliably use the graphing function and now have to use a third party method if I want q computer to quickly generate graphs for equations. The ability to scroll nicely between your previous answers is a godsend, including the ability to copy and paste, which is a massive improvement over any other calculator I have seen previously. I rarely if ever use the step-by-step function, but if I am feeling rather lazy I will use the algebraic solver which surprisingly works very well. I will continue to use this calculator as my main source of computations, but the graphing function needs significantly changed.

Greatest Scientific Calculator on App Store. The user interface is as good as it’s going to get for a digital scientific calculator better than most analog ones. I’m giving 5 stars because it excels at providing smooth input of operations; however I’ve yet to use many other features, I still think it’s a very solid app. I’ve never written a review on the App Store before, alas here it is. This is the best bang for your buck calculator, I’m a student, for what it’s worth.

New bugs but great update. The new update has had me run into about 3 bugs that made me need to reset the app and there are also a few things that I can’t seem to properly hit as the buttons are now much smaller. Maybe put the button sizes back and add some more slides for the buttons? I’ve had this app for 4 years now, paid for it, and have used it a ton since. I know you guys worked hard on this but these issues are not what I paid for for this app.

I love it. I’m studying mechanical engineering at college and and I’ve sought an app like this because I needed it very much! Right now I find it and i’m so happy and I upgraded really fast. I’m really appreciate for it. and I have a request for maker of this app, that is I’d like to add Persian (farsi) language to this app because there are so many people here that they need it as my friend and my teachers too. so please add it❤️

Great calculator, but ONE super annoying problem. It’s a great, feature filled scientific calculator, but they made the ridiculous decision to put the “options” button slightly overlapping the “0” button, resulting in accidentally opening the options frequently. It’s a bizarre decision, given that sliding the keyboard up a very small amount would solve the problem while only reducing the size of the output screen a negligible amount. Or they could have it overlap any button that isn’t used in approximately 1/10 of every equation I enter. Or just put it in the lower corner of the display area. I feel like they essentially places it in the worst possible location, and it makes me not want to use an otherwise great app.

Love this app!. Can there be an update to the numbers on the screen? I like how I can type a ton of numbers, but instead of them going on forever in one line I think it would be better if they could wrap around on the screen and continue underneath the first line of numbers to the second line and so on!

I don’t like the new interface. After the update all UI changed and I do not like this. The previous version’s interface was like calculator # and I paid my money for that design. But now I have to stick with this one... If I want to use the previous design, do I have to purchase calculator# or use it with ads? Why couldn’t you make new app for this interface and keep the old one for people who already purchased if you are seeking for new customers? This’s ridiculous. Ngl it is a good calculator tho. I just don’t like this change.

You have to pay for new features. I love this app. It’s an amazing app and a great calculator. However the new UI is very strange. It used to be set up in a much better way, but it looks much more aesthetically pleasing now then it did before. It makes sense why they changed it. However my problem lies with me not being able to use the camera function without paying a EVERY MONTH. It doesn’t make sense why they would make you pay for it when apps like Photomath exist. I get that you need to use a third party software that must cost a lot to borrow, but c’mon. You guys should try to develop the best software out there. I gotta say all your other functions are amazing. If you develop your own amazing one then you wouldn’t really have to charge us for it. I get that this way is easier, but no one is actually going to buy it unfortunately. They already payed a decent amount for the app. Great idea to have a photo mode, but sadly poor execution.

Horrible update. This new User Interface has destroyed the seamless experience that this calculator offered before. Key strokes have a lag which causes the calculator to miss the some of the keys that were pressed. The History list now requires you to press insert when you want to make changes in an equation you used before. I can’t even explain how much this update has made it difficult to continue using this calculator. Developers should be fired for trying to fix something that didn’t need to be fixed.

The new UI version no Torque convert?. After updated to the newest version I just realized it is getting difficult to do the units convert, before we could just select unit to convert right now we have to actually type the units to do it, and do we missing the torque convert? I couldn’t find the unit with torque.

Conversions out of calc app?. I have enjoyed using this app. Now I enjoy it less due to your making the conversions aspect be on its own app. Why did you do this? It’s very inconvenient. If you’re just trying to create extra income you could at least make it a paid addition to the original app so I don’t have to use two separate apps to do what was possible with one.

Calculator updated and now I cannot subtract?. A couple of days ago, presumably after an app update, the calculator stopped being able to subtract when subtracting from a previous result. So let’s suppose I type “4 x 4 =”. I get a result of 16. Then let’s say I want to subtract 6 from my result. So I type “Ans - 6 =”. The result is get is “Done”. Literally! I should get a result of 10, but instead I get the word “Done”. Something is very wrong with this calculator and it’s really a problem that needs to be fixed ASAP, or you may lose a lot of customers who rely on the simple mathematical concept of basic subtraction.

UI is a bit strange but it works well enough. Ive been using this app for few years now and still cannot get used to the UI - color scheme, buttons look like toy story, general layout of functionality, etc. If you set this aside it is a nice app with lots of features.

Upgrade from best to worst. The latest upgrade is a drastic decline in a quality calculator. Tap a number and it is not entered in to the formula. Instead, I have to hold a number in order for it to be included in the formula, most of the time. There seems to be new, and potentially exciting features, but the low functionality of entering numbers/symbols does not encourage me to explore them. Don’t use this calculator.

Math Has Been Conquered. As a dyslexic, I also have issues doing math in my head so of course I need a calculator for speed and accuracy. However, THIS is my calculator of choice out of the hundreds I have bought and tried. It covers everything from basic to advanced needs. and is even bundled with a great unit converter. They’ve also listened to my suggestion and added in number groupings. Lovely update, it also introduced tons of amazing new features!

Fantastic functionality (pardon the pun). This calculator does all kind of neat stuff. Without restating its functions (the app description does that well), I can say that as a scientist, engineer, and pilot, this calculator exceeds my very demanding expectations in so many ways. It makes beautiful graphs that are traceable and zoomable. It works with equations with ease, even complex ones. Calculus and statistics are no problem (again, pardon my pun) for this thing, too. I’d love it if it had a built in E6B, but other than that, it has everything! I totally recommend it to students, teachers, and professionals in STEM! Great work devs!

Wonderful math calculator, with history!. This math app performs all math functions efficiently and accurately. Easy and logical entry formats. I am most pleased with two features: (1) entries in logical notation and (2) unlimited history of entries and results. Just scroll back to see each entry and resultant calculations, with revisions possible at any point in a long string. Thanks!

Very good!. You have a choice. Either buy a calculator for $80-$100+ or some chump change for a comprehensive calculator. This team has created a largely inclusive app for just about any equation you could need. It's worth it. Plus too, if you mess up, you can back space to correct it. You can do that with the stock calculator iPhone has. You have to start over...

Intuitive. This thing can do next to everything. I have an upgraded version and it is a lifesaver. This thing gave me a way to check my work in Linear Algebra, Physics, Calculus 1 & 2, EE classes and more. Its mobile user interface far surpasses desmos’s and can do far more. The navigation takes a second to get used to, but the amount of functions are totally worth it. Must have for engineers, and even better on iPad

Amazing calculator!. This calculator is purely amazing. It has more operators then you will ever need, it’s quite accurate, and can prove to be very useful in a large variety of situations! Unlike all those other calculators, which are severely limited compared to this. I’ve trusted this calculator for a year or two now and it continues to serve me well to this day. (Thank you for bringing back the carbon layout! You guys are awesome!)

Just get Emu50G instead. I come from a background in game programming & advanced math. I also own a HP 48G originally purchased back in the early 90s & that (RPN) has a steep but worthwhile learning curve. Maybe because I’ve developed user interfaces for people I have an expectation of usability above all else. The mark of that is when you don’t need a tutorial for basic functionality, only steps beyond that. *** As such, this app is unusable.*** There’s a problem when even attempting to calculate basic Trig is made complicated. This app’s approach is nebulous & opaque. Sin 90 calculates WRONG. I don’t know what this app designer’s aversion to intuitive design is, but it renders his app useless. If you care about your time & want a battle proven calculator that countless professional engineers & mathematicians rely on, just get Emu50G instead & save yourself the headaches this app will induce. You’ll thank me later.

Easy to Use and Efficient. The way this calculator allows you to enter calculation formulas in forward form (e.g., sin 45 instead of 45 sin; -1 instead of 1-), and how it understands notation shortcuts such as 4 pi = 4 times pi makes entering calculations much more efficient and much less error prone than traditional scientific calculators. You also see a scrolling display of your total calculation entry (instead of the display refreshing with each intermediate calculation value). This helps you to check that you entered a long calculation correctly. Highly recommended.

Great calculator. I use this calculator for many advanced and all of my variable based calculations for one reason - this calculator allows you to input the equation in its original form. For students, that means they can input their equations in textbook format father than a long string of numbers and variables with excess parentheses so the program can sort it out. A couple things I would like to see. Needs and updated manual. Also, still can’t find the infinity button needed for some calculations. Also, would like the ability to tell it which variable to solve for. Right now it automatically solves for x but there are times i have multiple variables and need specific ones. Also, I would like to complement this developer for always upgrading the existing app instead of trying to get people to repurchase a newer version as other app developers have been trying. I feel confident this developer won’t let his existing customers down and that says a lot these days.

What I’ve been looking for.. This calculator is well worth its money. It has so many useful features that it’s insane how little this costs. Also, this calculator has the one feature I’ve been looking for, and that is to be able to input a variable anywhere into an equation and it will solve instead of the long process of rearranging the equation to solve it. Also has a great converter, and other useful modes.

New interface is crap. I thought I was the only one who had a problem with the new interface, but it turns out that a lot of users also have the same problem. The interface of this calculator was what attracted me to it and made me buy it in spite of the fact that I had other paid-for calculator apps that are more expensive. Now the interface is horrible and time wasting. At least give the option of being able to switch to “classic” at will

Used to Love It. I used to love this calculator but the UI is terrible after the most recent upgrade. I got a response from the developer. Doesn’t look he’s going to give those of us who paid for this app the GUI we liked. All he does is accuse us of not accepting change. He also thinks the old interface is out of date which is totally wrong, and yea, I’m the Director of Software Development for a $4B company so I know a thing or two about software and the human interface. Additionally, he thinks the new interface will attract new customers but fails to recognize that the rapidly growing list of one and two star reviews will blow that theory right out of the water. I guess his marketing expertise is in line with his human interface expertise.

Möbius. The new revised calculator is pitiful The shift key opens up other nice functions. It doesn’t allow for easy copying and pasting of results or equations that led to those results. Obviously, for people who really know how to do serious programming, Excel is almost infinitely better for calculating anything with the bonus of being able to print just about anything you like. I’ve written single cells with about 7 nested if statements using Excel. For a carry around calculator that isn’t programmable, this one is great and well worth the $4.99 or whatever it costs close to the aforementioned amount.

Horrible User Interface. Why would you change the user interface of a calculator? It’s a calculator. Every single change you introduced made the user experience worse. Conversions GUI should be used in schools to demonstrate how bad a design could be. One single tiny line for conversions (with 7 decimal digits for temperature 😂) with a huge empty white space above it, and a “0” in a wrong space. I’m not a lumberjack, I play piano, but I can cover four keys with my finger. Total failure. Two stars is a gift to motivate you to fix this mess.

Both editions are amazing. Started out with the free Calculator # and later upgraded to the full version. Both calculators are powerhouses of phone apps that are a must have for anyone who ever needs any kind of calculator on their device. The apps are very intuitive and extremely well made, and support a wide array of options making life so much easier. Highly recommend to everyone.

Great calculator!. Some suggestions: Keys on the main keyboard page (flat, dark mode) have gray backgrounds witch is great, but what about the other extended keyboard pages?! Did the designers forget them?! Zero key is one of the most used keys on most calculators and so the zero key is one of the largest. But here, it’s not only the same size, but also is just above the menu key and you should be careful to not touch the menu key by mistake. The menu bar color (blue) is not matched with the overall dark design. Maybe a gray and darker color would be great. Even an auto hide option for menu bar would be awesome. Thanks for this great and powerful calculator!

Better than my $200 calculator. Totally worth the money. I will be using this my whole life. The new step by step solutions is awesome. I will have to get used to the new UI, but it looks great. The amount of effort put into this calculator from parsing, calculation, display, to ideas is just perfect. I love that I get exact answers to problems that my $200 calculator can only approximate. Well done developers, seriously a work of art.

New update ruined it. This USED to be the best calculator on the App Store but the latest update has much to my great disappointment completely ruined it. I get so many glitches and errors that just trying to make it work is a struggle half the time along with its horribly impractical ui this app is just frankly more struggle than its worth. If the devs would simply restore it to the previous version before the august update then my rating would instantly go to five stars but as it stands I must warn you as someone who has had this app for close to six years now, its frankly no longer any good and I like many others will surely be looking for alternatives.

Not a fan of the interface. I’ve had this calculator app for several years and have loved. So far, I like most of the new functionality of the updated version, but the new interface is not so great. The keys are small Anne unresponsive. Pulling up previous calculations is not as intuitive as before. If it stays like this, I will definitely be looking for a new calculator app soon. The unresponsiveness of the keys is making this app unreliable and unusable. Please fix it soon.

I love how active the development and evolution of this app is. I do not need a calculator on my phone or iPad regularly but I find that when I do need something more a bit robust than the built in calculator on my phone or need an app at all as one is not included on the iPad that this is one of the first I turn to. It makes sense and is well designed.

Very good and feature-complete, with one star off. The star off is for the (undeclared in the marketing) in-app purchase necessary to use a feature, namely the OCR/handwriting recognition. The charge isn’t even the issue, services cost money, but it shouldn’t be on potential customers to find this out after getting the paid app.

Works Great!. Pretty incredible for the price, works for several simple and complex types of functions intuitively and easily. I haven't used one of the expensive TI graphing/scientific calculators in many years (before the invention of the smartphone hahaha), but unless those do a specific function 100x's more efficiently that I have to do 100+ times daily, I can't justify adding a clunky piece of hardware that I can just simply do with my phone. Highly recommended!!!

Final calculator you’ll ever need. As a long time land surveyor who has worked in the engineering fields from electrical engineering to structural engineering to civil engineering this calculator has done it all for me. I have built highway bridges to miles of highway with this app. I have used it also to teach my kids geometry, trig, and algebra using it. The price is same as a casio fx-115es plus i use which u can use on state exams. Ive used every calculator out there from old hp48s to hp 35s to graphing calculators of all sorts. This one like i said is worth evry penny.

Great app but one flaw. The modulus operator does not give you the correct result when you have a negative number as the first operand. For instance right now if you do -5 mod 4 you will get -1 which is incorrect. The correct answer is 3. Other than that this app has been great. Used I use an iPad Pro for all my note taking and it so nice to just swipe from the right and boom there’s my calculator. Best calculator app other than this modulus issue.

Disappointed with the Upgrade. I loved the app before the upgrade. Everything was legible and made sense intuitively. However, this upgrade took away from those key features. Everything got smaller and it prompts me to use a scientific feature I have no need for in the basic everyday calculation. However, they keep my favorite feature; calculation history and for that reason I am rating it two stars. Sometimes it’s better just to keep things simple and sweet.

Full blown TI-like calc on iOS. I used the free version for a year or so and bought pro when on sale. Best decision hah! The pro version of this calc can do basically anything. There are even some calculus level functions I’ve only ever seen on big TI calcs like the 89. I love that it can be a side app on the iPad Pro next to another app, and its size is adjustable without UI problems. Great for multitasking. Only criticism is that I can’t set it as my default calculator app (Apple problem). Also, could use a GUI update, feels a little 2013 when it comes to the graphical assets.

No negative button is annoying at times. The fact that there is no negative button, while most of the time is not a big deal, it is quite annoying when I have a negative number squared within an equation. Having to put parenthesis around the negative number and the exponent on the outside fix, but the negative button is standard on every other calculator I have used, why the heck they would leave this out just annoys me. Fix this and it’s a perfect 5 stars.

Love this app. Have been an avid user since high school, and it's served me well through MIT and beyond. One suggestion regarding the latest update though. I'd reccommend some sort of color change for the whole button when you press it. On the light and dark themes, only the number changes, and this is impossible to see when you're pressing the button, so it's hard to get that instant feedback. Silver theme fixes this, though, so no real complaints here! Keep doing what you're doing fellas. It's working!

Update ruined the app for me. Like others have said— The upgrade made the numbers really small, and various buttons don’t work—I really noticed the buttons when I tried the conversion area. Almost nothing works there. The app is no longer intuitive. It’s like using an old scientific calculator that requires a teacher to use. When I checked out the “user manual” in the menu bar, I couldn’t find instructions for the converter. Disappointing to pay for something I use often and now doesn’t work for me.

Why did they change so much. I just saw the new look for the app yesterday. While I like the sleek look of the new calculator, the bars under the buttons are confusing and look bad, and need to have an option to turn them off. Also, I appreciated having a drop down for the conversions, instead of having to type them in, because now I don’t know what the calculator can convert. If these 2 things were added, this would be a 5 star calculator.

I have Pro. Stop it with the ads. I was trying to use the photo function and repeatedly got the ad window. On top of that the photo function didn’t complete the analysis and left me with a white screen. You need to realize that calc apps require an investment of time spent learning how to use features. If I keep getting ads after paying for this product then I will simply delete it instead of wasting time trying to use a product that gets in way.

Used to be much better. This calculator was much better in the prior version and I would have given the previous version four stars. The new interface has drastically increased my calculation time. First, the up arrow used to accurately scroll through historical calculations that could then be edited in place. This no longer happens. Also, editing a historical equation requires you to now “insert” it, which adds keystrokes and can cause errors if you already have typed something in. Second, the unit conversion has the start of something good but still lags way behind the previous version, which was a bit clunky as well. It needs to have the ability to drop down available conversions “to” once the “from” is selected and it needs to get back the ability to switch the from and to positions. And, it would be nice to have favorites back for rapid input. Finally, the calculation lines are more crowded than before making it more difficult to read results. The new interface has some advantages and it is nice when things get refreshed, but this was a premature rollout and until the above are fixed I am, unfortunately, in the market for a new go-to calculator.

Best Calculator Watch on App Store!!!!!. Does the basic things like simple operations and complicated things like graphic functions. It’s easy to use and has a nice dark theme, which I use. My only suggestion is to create an Apple Watch app of this calculator: that can do quick and simple operations. Hope you guys can continues to support this app and make enhancements to it because it feels sluggish at times.

Change it back. I hate to be one of those people who only rates something when they’re dissatisfied actually I think I gave this calculator a great rating when I paid for it. Changes were made a few weeks ago and now it doesn’t work all the time. A calculator needs to work all the time because I don’t have a need for two calculators.

Strange user interface. This was my most used application until the August 28 update. A graphic interface for a calculator should look like a calculator, not just a bunch of numbers and functions thrown on the screen. The layout is awkward to say the list. This is very disappointing and a perfect example of what happens when you try to improve what was already great. Follow up, September 12, 2020: I took the developer's advice and gave the update a chance. I am now twice as disappointed. I have to wonder if the developers have realized that this "new and improved" revision has taken this application from a 4+ star review ranking to a 2 star. Who ever designed this new UI needs to take a vacation. This is not going to attract new and young users. In addition to the awful user interface, my screen does not display any menu, options or help screen. The keys are too small; unless your fingers are the size of a pencil, data entry is quite unpredictable and frustrating. I have no way of accessing any of the "new features" of the application. Perhaps this is a hardware compatibility issue. I am using a third generation iPad with IOS 10.3.3 which according to the developer is compatible with the app. All I can confirm is that I purchased an application that has been revised without notice to a point where it no longer resembles what I paid for and worst of all, may be incompatible with my iPad.

Hands down best Calculator app out there!. Thank you for the iPhone X update! Also if anyone out there is looking for a good scientific calculator, you found it. Look no further, this is the best. Srsly, I tried them all, this is THE BEST. (Wolfram alpha and Desmos can do some neat things, but this is the easiest to use, most universal gadget you can find.) Just buy it, it's like half the price of a coffee nowadays...

Not a user friendly app for engineering calcs. It only works is portrait orientation and doesn’t provide any of the features when held horizontally. It is very annoying to go back and forth in the forms and/or use shift for simple engineering calculations!

Great calculator. This is the BEST of all of the calculators that I have tried. So many functions That I do not need to use. A fun calc anyway.

Amazing calculator. This is by far the best calculator on the app store. It's got many handy features and is easy to use. Unlike many other calculators, this one actually displays the equation at the top clearly.

Calculator. Excellent product, have used it for many many years.

Syntax error. The infinity calculator is great. However when trying to get 1 E 9.3 it gives a syntax error instead of a value.

No setting for screen dim is painful. Can we have a setting option for screen dim to be 'always on'? I wish I could force my calculator to stay on screen (no dim) without having to change the global setting of my mobile screen.

Excellent Calculator. For engineering students. In case you left your calculator at home, don't worry, you have got this app.

App not as expected. If you think this app will solve your questions with the unlimited pack your wrong!! I was looking for a problem solver but after you buy the infinity back you have to then buy a subscription pack for the problem solver. Also in my opinion the aesthetics aren’t great for a person to read solutions from. I recommend using other problem solving apps because this one is not that greatest as the reviews are saying.

Horrible new UI after update. The latest update has a horrible UX. It’s extremely difficult to and switches to unwanted modes easily by mistake. Such a shame. Used to be a great app I used often. Ironically the free version of this app maintain the old UI.

Bad update. Why did you change the app and make it worse? All those small unresponsive buttons now? Not good. Got to find a new calculator app now!

Calculator infinity. Overall good. A calculator with a touch screen - very good!! Suggestions for improvements: 1 An improved retrieval for "last calc or result " . Infinity calculator. Very pleased with the calculator, but there is very little help available which makes it really difficult to use the advanced features!

Almost Perfect. I've always loved all of the features and the ease of use. I particularly love the look and feel of the new update. Being able to see history of calculations on the screen is much better. However the numbers are as on the edge as possible so on an iPhone (with the slight border and rounded edges) half of the first number keyed in is not visible. It's manageable but also incredibly annoying particularly when it's a 1.

What Happened?. The look and feel of the original UI layout was fantastic. This new UI change is terrible. Please add a setting which allows the option to switch back to the original UI.

Horrible. The new layout from last update is horrible. The fonts are small, the buttons are cramped, and the UI is cluttered and confusing. The old one was easy to read and use - why on earth change that! Please change it back from this new horrible and hard to read look. I am deleting this app after having paid for the OLD premium look. Fantastic. I'm a y11 methods student in Australia and this app would've been able to do anything that we've been doing effortlessly and while being easier to use than the casio class pad. It's a must have for any math student. Effortless, powerful and easy to use absolutely brilliant I wish I found it earlier.

Woops dunno what happened to last rating.... Very good calculator from beginner to advanced. Love the extra answer conversion thing that converts units. I'm not very mathematical but it's a great easy calculator and I am doing an electrical apprenticeship and it's helping me breeze through it. Glad I bought it.

Please allow choice between old/new layout. I now find it much harder to use. And the converter is not usable. Would it be possible to allow users to keep the old interface and converter, please? I appreciated the bigger buttons (text) and converter much more before. Thank you for your consideration.

This calculator is actually good, the results are accurate. Somebody just mentioned that the result was inaccurate. First, for the trigonometry part it is accurate since it is using the radian unit, not degree unit. I think all results are accurate as far as I tested it. Also, somebody complained issues like when he inputed 1/1.31, the result had been turned into 100/131, that is because you use the fraction mode, not decimal mode. Don’t give wrong reviews due to your lack of knowledge.

THIS APP DOESN’T WORK FOR TRIGONOMETRY. I just started my Trigonometry unit in school (Grade 11) and everyone who’s using apps and google scientific calculator has been getting completely wrong answers and our process is correct, my teacher even tried using an app and the answers coming from most scientific calculator apps have been unreliable. My teacher tried the scientific calculator in Calculator.net and it’s working well. If you have a math test or homework or your calculating anything important DO NOT USE THIS APP, when I calculated something where the answer should’ve been (57) it got 0.66 the answers are way off. I payed 6$ for the premium and I WANT A REFUND!

Finally the perfect calculator!. I finally found the perfect calculator for my needs! It does everything I need! I really like the tap engine function too, which makes it more "real" on touch. Only thing that is annoying is the blue button on the down left corner that goes over the "zero"... I would love to remove it to have a cleaner view.

Great! A+. Great calculator for algebra don’t know about the others functions as I only use it for algebra but it certainly was worth the seven dollars it cost me works great for any equations and the like A+++++

Old version much better. The new version is not worth the money. The screen is not intuitive and the summary of buttons on the Home Screen is not useful. Fortunately I can still access the free version (which was amazing) and will deal with the advertisements.

What happened to INV to create a neg number?. I used to love this calculator until the new update where I can’t even find out how to enter a negative number. I am sure it is hidden somewhere but the user friendly aspect tanked with the new update. Inverting the sign should be on the main screen and not buried. It’s ridiculous!!

The best calculator app and technical support money can buy. I was in need of a calculator that could solve engineering power supply resistor values and stumbled on this app. My questions to technical support were answered within an hour and explained in detail very well. I highly recommend this calculator.

Good. It’s pretty great, but a vital function is missing or maybe I can’t find it. You aren’t able to input previous results (from more than one calculation prior) into a new calculation, no way to paste numbers either. One review says they can’t calculate fractions but you can indeed convert decimals to fractions by pressing the bottom right button on the main screen

Great, only minor things missing. Definitely the best calculator app I’ve come across, only wish that it had fractions instead of the division operator and eventually the possibility to change the app icon...

Roll back. Appreciate the effort but the app was very well built and didnt need a revamp. Currently searching for another alternative as the current version is unusable. Hopeful you reconsider and roll back to the older version

Simply the best scientific calculator. I have used many scientific calculators on the apple market. This is by the far "The Best" scientific calculator on the Apple market. This scientific calculator application has many functions and features from basic, to complex calculations. Excellent for algebra, calculus, exponential equations, factorial and many more. I use this scientific calculator application frequently from every day uses to problematic equations. The only issue Is the help feature. The help is very vague on all key functions. That's it.

Super Calculator but Should be Universal. Probably the best calculator app I’ve seen for the iPad. However, this should be a universal app! Paying for two instances of the app is a. It greedy IMO. I’d give it a 5 star otherwise.

Latest upgrade is a big downgrade. Another example of breaking a successful app for no apparent reason. If it’s not broken why “fix”it?

Nice app. This is a very good app, with a steep learning curve. In casual use it seems to be free of bugs and other annoyances.

Smart calculator. This calculator is amazing. Unfortunately, university has a no smart phone policy which means I can not use this calculator app during tests. So i still have to have a traditional scientific calculator. If your company has any suggestions or remedies that might help persuade the university policies to change this unfortunate circumstance, I encourage you in doing so.

New not better. New layout is hard to see, I need to focus hard to see what I’m tapping on. I appreciate the effort to improve your app, if I was in university still it would be an awesome upgrade, but for general day to day use, this update hurts. The simple mode is too simple. I rely upon the history mode, making multiple calculations, and then going over them all at once to check for mistakes. The full mode has a tiny tiny number pad. It’s hard to use with my big thumbs, and that’s on the big iPhone 11. I don’t need the alphabet all the time, or a scrolling slider to pick decimal over binary. I need a big number pad, a shift button for alternate keys I use on occasion, and for sure a nice long history function to scroll thru for checking. This app has been a hands down 5/5 for so long, was worth every penny I spent on it, now I need to find a new calculator. If you are going to radically change the layout, give people the option the first time it starts back up to pick the new layout or keep the old. Especially for a paid app.

Disappointing new interface. Very confusing and not intuitive. Conversions are a nightmare. Please revert back to old version.

The update made the convertor bad. Before the update the converter was easy to use but now it just hard since it’s not intuitive.

Tried five calculator apps; this is the one I’ll use. Bought four other paid calculator apps before finding this one, including the two more-expensive apps that seem to top most reviews / ratings of iPhone / iPad calculator apps. More than the others, Calculator Infinity meets needs for a calculator that works seamlessly across disciplines; engineering, statistics and accounting (scientific too, not my need). Especially like that it clearly displays algebraic equations as they are entered - great for avoiding errors and for showing others what’s going on - and user functions are so easy to create and use. As a calculator that does absolutely everything it takes a bit of practice to use, and it’s unit conversion feature is more kludgy than others. However the other calculator apps purchased will likely be deleted from my devices soon; this one does it all well.

Fantastic, time-tested calculator. I have been using this calculator since the 7th grade. I’m now a junior in college. This calculator has been my go to from basic algebra, to multivariable calculus. I applaud the developer and 11/10 would recommend this calculator, especially for the price!

They broke a really nice calculator. Until the last update, I would have given this app a solid 4 stars, at least. Now, I dread using it for the purposes I bought it. The last update completely revamped the UI and made it very hard to work with. On an iPhone X, for instance, the font is fixed at bold, italic, underlined and I can’t see any way to change that. I spent money to get the “infinity” version and now I have to find a different calculator because I can’t stand how it’s been changed.

Buy the Bundle!. I have used the high tech graphing calculators since I was in high school 20 years ago, this calculator is amazing and it’s a huge bargain to buy their bundle with their converter as well! Well worth your money!!! I have it on my iPhone X and my iPad Mini 4!

Versatile. This is the most versatile calculator that I know of. It can adapt to almost any use, and has almost every feature. I know there are other calculator apps out there but none are as beautiful and pleasing. I use this app as a financial calculator which it performs very well. I highly recommend this calculator!

Great but confusing.. I have had this for about a month, using it for advanced math but I can’t find pi, so I was wondering where it was. I would give it five stars if it wasn’t so hard to find, other than that I highly recommend this if you don’t have a scientific calculator.

Great calculator but... This is a great calculator but I really prefer the basic version design especially for iPad. when used on an iPad the characters seem to be a little too small n important buttons like AC has the same color (in landscape mode) as the rest of the numbers so it is often confused by another regular button that’s supposed to be in a different color as regular calculators are

The best calculator. This app does much more than I hope I will ever need for math class haha. Never had an issue in regards to this app not being able to do a calculation, and I am in calculus (unfortunately). Absolutely would recommend. If only I could use it on tests...

All in one and more. This calculator includes about everything that one would need to do math and logic. It also part of an ecosystem that includes a very comprehensive unit conversion calculator. As with any complex software, there’s a learning curve. But once completed, this app has been very helpful.

Complex Numbers. Well I’m new with calculator but it’s really making short work complex math. It will take rectangular and polar equations mixed and give the result. Also going from rectangular to polar is one key stroke. So far I’m liking this calculator a lot. More as I go along.

Favorite computational app. As a scientist, I love this app. It is populated with algorithms useful to a scientist, allows recall of previous computations, supports a series of computations for tracking purposes, and has a look-up table for scientific constants. The app has replaced my scientific calculator, but not my more advanced computational software (I.e. MathCad, Mathematica or MatLab).

if you resist to change... what the... Please please bring the old version back. Latest stable version was 5.2 , please separate that version with whatever you are trying to do now and publish that as separate app if needed. New design starting from version 5.5 is HORIIBLE and it ruined this app. You are saying: “If you resist to change do not update to this version” What??? What resistance are we talking about? Ios does not allow us to go back. And obviously people want to try new versions?? Bring back what was working and what we paid for!

No recent major updates.. This is the best calculator app in the iOS market, but its missing updates recently. Just stability fixes... I wish there were better graphing options, for like cubic functions. And increase function limits to be plotted on graphs. Thank you developer for this beautiful app. Worth the penny.

Yes. A great quality calculator with many useful features. I have several scientific calculators and have tried many, many more. This is one of my go to favorites. Well worth having.

Needs a few tweaks. Nice App. Very useful. Developer, please respond to the following suggestions: 1. Can you define the x limits of a graph? E.g. Plot 5x+2 from x=0 to x=10. If not, this feature should be added. 2. Should be able to copy/paste graphs or at least save as PDF. 3. Should be able to add physical constants to favorites 4. 3D plots would be awesome.

strange implementation, help w/ many limitations. At first glance it looks as if this calculator has everything you need, next you realize that it differs a lot from conventional calculators. The symbols used are strangely inconsistent, just try and use the key X and the X2 (square) and compare what happens. Help is utterly incomplete and rarely explains more than what is obvious anyway. A split screen help ( showing the calculator or part of it, and help next to it ) would make a real difference. This app hasn’t seen any updates in a long time. Don’t waste money on it. update Sept 2020 oh my .... the user UI wasn’t great before, with the recent update it has turned into a nightmare (on my ipad mini). Just open the settings dialogue to see what I mean. Uninstalled a minute ago and downgraded from 3 stars to none.

Best calculator on the app store. I’ve been using this as one of my prime scientific calculators since high school. It is very feature rich and worth spending the money on. It does almost everything I have ever needed to do. Also graphs and solves equations for you.

Very advanced, and easy to use. It offers multiple functions and methods to use. It’s my go-to for calculations of all manners, be it simple or advanced solutions. And thank you for regularly fixing bugs and crashes.

It's called calculator#, by the same developer, but it has fewer features and ads. It's still jam-packed with stuff, though, so try it and if you find you have to do something it can't do, buy this one.

Better than the rest. I'm a grad student in statistics, and the other calculators around here are useless, been using this one for 1 week for my papers and problems and it has everything i need and reminds me of my old TI-36 from high school, so yeah i recommend it to anyone who needs to solve long equations

Awkward User Interface. The new user interface of this app is just unusable. I use this app when multitasking on my iPad. The numbers and buttons are too small which made it difficult for me to type efficiently. For example, during a test or exam, I am more prone to typing mistakes. Yes the old interface did look a little outdated can could use a refresh, but the new user interface does not meet the usability requirement of your users. Please improve the user interface.

Steep learning curve but worth it. Comming from an HP11c, this one has so much more to offer... With the caveat that to to do simple calculation requires switching to the simple calculator. The whole app is well done. Spending time learning the functionality pays off.

New interface. I really liked the old interface. It was like a real calc and the the buttons were responsive. Please add some interfaces and themes that people can choose between them. Also it seems that adding one new row is not a good idea. I really like the flat design but it’s not suitable for the caclculator apps. 3D design is more suitable for calc apps. I really like the interface of “10bll financial calculator pro” that developed by your team. Please add that interface into this app.

Was great, but I’m not finding the new UI intuitive at all.. I really enjoyed using this powerful and inexpensive calculator, but since the recent update I can’t figure out how to do conversions. I didn’t see any explanation of how to do these and am quite confused. I expect that I’ll figure it out eventually.

Needs an option : Just wanna see A+B=C in handwriting mode. I just wanna see simple result like A+B-C=D without whole caculating process in handwriting mode to capture and paste to PDF excercise book(Flexil,Goodnotes,Notability,...) empty space not to occupy big space. So please make that option.

Updated review - latest update terrible. This used to be a fantastic calculator. The developer ruined it with the latest update. Navigation doesn’t even follow standard iOS conventions - you’re not able to use the space bar as a mouse. Number entry uses keypad interface in one mode and a modified QWERTY in others. The user interface is now nearly unusable, with documentation that only matches the old interface available. Unit conversion UI used to be intuitive - now impossible to use. No way to browse conversions. Use on the iPad is even worse. Buttons don’t fit correctly in split screen or in slide over. This whole app is a giant hot mess now. Need to be in search of a new calculator now that the nearly perfect one in now a steaming pile of trash.

Amazing. This calculator has everything for school. Definitely worth the money. It even has an entire converting units section. This app has saved me so much time on work. Way too complicated.. If you are an Engineer or studying to be one I imagine this is great. Since the new upgrade it’s usability has diminished drastically. If the owner of this app wanted to attract new younger professionals they should have launched a new platform and left the old one alone. Not at all happy I paid for this and can hardly use it.

New updates made it bad. I can understand why you would try to make it better but the old version was much more simpler, easier to understand and work. This new update makes it look much too complex and unfit for daily use. I can deal with the looks but these must go: The ANS button won’t work, it won’t maintain the value of the answer. You can’t interchange units when doing conversions. You have to manually set it

Awful update, less intuitive and hampers calculation progress.. The new layout is awful. Please revert back to the previous layout or give paying customers the choice to select the layout we want. Also not all of the buttons are clearly labeled. For example, why can’t we have a return button instead of two equals signs? What is the purpose of two “=“?

Great Calculator. A really useful scientific calculator that I use daily in my work. By accident I entered 0 to the 0 power and got 1 for an answer which is the wrong answer. Makes one wonder what other bad math is in this great app. I would give it a 5 if not for this error.

What happened??. I haven’t used this calculator for a while so when I opened it up today I was surprised to see something that to me doesn’t even look like a calculator. I remember that it used to have a nice intuitive UI and now, not so much. I’ve been using scientific calculators since the 70’s and I’m getting too old to have to waste time digging through the manual to do the simplest calculations. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Love it, does what i need....but one problem thats been there since start. This is the only thing keeping me from 5 stars. Fortunately for you, it was the only thing getting me here to give a review at all. It really works great. But WHY DO MY KEYS KEEP STICKING? Ever since day one of owning the free or this pro version the buttons will stick and miss literally 30 percent of my input because the button stayed down and didnt even register. Another press fixes it but usually after ive typed my entire problem out. Can you check into this please? Im tired of getting wrong answers or inputting wrong syntax due to missing that a number or function didnt register.

From great to useless. The new UI is visually horrible and as far from intuitive as possible. And don’t get me started on the conversation function. I have yet to figure out how to use it much less locate the advertised 21 categories and 400+ units ! Oh, in case you are wondering, I upgraded to the Pro on the previous version. The “improved” version has ruined everything. Can’t delete this piece of garbage quick enough. Wish I could give it 0 stars as one star is way too much.

Good calculator, good support. I teach math and allow students to use calculators on some topics. Over the years this app and its free version have been my recommended calculator app. The developer listens to suggestions. It works well and keeps being supported.

Excellent calculator. The 5.5 update added a ton of features, but it made unit conversions tedious and hard to use. This latest update changed the unit conversions interface back to how it was and now this app is PERFECT. Thanks Devs And they said we wouldn’t always have a scientific graphing calculator in our pockets. HA!

I no longer miss my lost TI-89!. Well, maybe I still miss it a little. While this app may not be quite as feature packed, it has many of the features that made my TI-89 a treasure. Simplification. Factoring. Equation solving. WYSIWYG Graphical formatting of expressions and equations. And above all, great attention to design and usability. These things help to fill the massive hole in my heart which my TI-89 once occupied.

Fantastic Calculator, But One Caveat. I have great fondness for this calculator implementation (very easily my top pick), only the most recent version (which improved much) did away with gradians (or gons, or grades—basically, 100 of which correspond to 90 degrees) as units of angle measurement. Please, please, bring them back!

Inner-City Algebra, Trig/Analyt, Calculus Class' Dream. Outstanding, easily mastered, highly affordable maths program; ideal even though I am a proponent of mastering classroom maths work without the use of calculators. Ideal for teaching inner-city High School students; an affordable way for teachers to provide the program to their classes.

Miss the Old GUI. With the new update, I find myself missing the old GUI, specifically the keys looking like a physical calculator. Wish there was a way to change keyboard layout to the keys like they were in the old version. I have trouble with the new buttons as my fingers are thicker. Still a good calculator.

New conversion format is much more difficult to use. I have spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to use the conversion features but can and the help section is not working. Basically no information or step by step.

key-issues. the new layout seems to delay key strokes so you miss half of the numbers and you have to redo it multiple times. I liked the old layout much better. would not buy again.

Perfect for engineering applications. Well thought-out interface, packed with features, and easy to use. The ability to easily edit an equation is a bonus. I haven’t used all of the app’s functionality yet, but I’m glad there are a lot of tools in this toolbox for future use.

Useful for long equations.. So I haven’t checked out any other calculator apps in years, I’ve just used this one since my first iPhone! It was and is very useful for long equations, with fraction and exponential boxes to make it look cleaner

Change is not always good. I’ve used this app for several years and have loved its functionality and user interface. Like several folks on here, I have some suspicions about the new changes and where they came from. Please bring back the old user interface – it’s the key to this app success. The new interface is absolutely inferior.
