Working great now. Originally I gave this a 1 star when iOS 16 came out, since it would not work at all. Now it works great 😊. Being a keto dieter, the 5-guys bacon cheeseburger bowl is a truly tasty meal. This app helps me order my food, and the when I arrive, I just walk in, grab and go.

Great App. Very easy to use app, makes it so convenient for us to come over and pick up our order because we are usually in a hurry and don’t want to wait around and order!

Good App but Needs Rewards Program. I have apps to restaurants around here that I like going to, and just about all of them have a rewards program where you rack up points from ordering to use later on freebies. Unfortunately, Five Guys doesn’t have one. The app is great because I put my order in and it was ready when I got there without having to wait, but gosh when you buy $20 burgers and fries, some freebies would be nice here and there.

can't use. can't use. have used it several time in the past, app gets locked in password reset and create new account cycle and won't let me login because i've already got an account. the email feild in the app wouldn't accept input of anykind and uneditable. it's unfortunate because i use these types of app frequently and rarely have problems, but with the five guys app i experience frequent glitches which essential kill the order trying to be place. Bad enough UI/UX that I took time out of my work day to report it

Food for the Kai’s. Without a doubt, this food is legendary status. IF “gods” from other worlds were to inquire some of the most exquisite taste, if burgers were the choice for that day then most definitely would I take them here. Service is great here, as well. Thanks guys and gals and everybody!

Feature Req: Comment box. First off, this app is actually pretty good. Worth five stars and I will revise it as such even if you don’t add my feature. Basically, we always feel the need to request the fries to be extra crispy. And we love them that way. We want a way to do that from the app. A comment box is probably not an easy add since you have to worry about the requests people might make, but it would be really nice. If you want to constrain the box to just the fries section too, I would be happy

Minor Tweak Req after redesign. Anyway we can add a customize or special instructions section? I love the new look of the app! Looks much cleaner and modern. We typically like to request extra toppings or have our fries slightly under cooked. The app doesn’t let you request this so not sure how that could be fixed.

PLEASE ADD A NOTE OPTION. Please add the ability in the app to leave a note to the person making the order. I’m tired of having to put in the order then having to call the store directly after to tell them to go easy on the Cajun seasoning. If y’all won’t add a note option, then please add the option to select light seasoning on the fries. Plus, there’s no option for extra cheese on the burgers.

Dangerous functionality loss. The Five Guys app in previous versions had the ability to put notes, the ability to say less or more of toppings, etc. While not being able to say “easy on the tomato” is annoying not being able to annotate a food allergy? That’s dangerous and wholly uncalled for loss of customer control. I’ve a sibling with a life threatening allergy to capsicum plants, I’m allergic to banana all of which are options for items in a Five Guys and both unnecessarily high risk of exposure for no excusable reason.

Order ahead with Apple Pay. I happened to take a look at the app and there’s an Apple Pay option now. That was the deciding factor when I was figuring out what I wanted to do for dinner. My only complaint is that when there is only one option (for my store “in-store” is the only pickup option), that should be automatically selected. The extra tap on the only option before you can Continue is confusing.

New update is broken. I tried to update the app, but it is not compatible with pre-Covid iOS, so it would not download. I stopped updating the iOS in 2020 when Apple tried to force an invasive update that did not give the user the option to turn off Covid tracking. That was a step too far for Apple, IMO, and so I continue to protest by not updating the iOS. Unfortunately for Five Guys, they are losing my business because their new update is not backward compatible. Send out an update that is backward compatible, and I will order from Five Guys again and replace this review with a nice one.

Streamlined, but missing key functions.. This app is easy to use, and fast. I think the mark of a good interface is one that could be used by a 90 year old and a 9 year old, and this app has that. However, there is no option for electronic tipping on delivery orders nor is there a good order tracking system. In summary, a way to tip via card (as most people don’t carry cash often anymore) and a map tracking the progression of the order would make the experience perfect. I know Five Guys has the money to pay a software company to develop these quality of life improvements, and I recommend they do.

Simple and Efficient To Place Order. Improved app functionality made it both simple and efficient to reorder our usual items, and allowed additional items to be added as desired!

App needs features and better reliability. I love the website version (I haven’t tried it in a while hopefully they still do this) where you could add items and say more or less of an item. The app doesn’t allow you to do that. Such an important thing and something that set 5 guys apart! But worse 3 times I tried to place the order and after putting in the CC Zip it has two boxes circling for 3 mins and then fails. Very frustrating.

Five Guy’s Family. My family typically has Five Guys as a treat for dinner twice a month for the past 4 years, and we’ve never had a problem with the food or service at this location. We’re looking forward to our next meal!

Gloves and cleanliness. The food is always great but the only reason I travel here from far away is because the cleanliness and the changing of gloves once in a while I’ll see someone not changing their gloves and then I don’t order it is crucial with any type of foodTo always practice cleanliness as no one wants or needs to get sick if people wash their hands change their gloves don’t touch their face with the gloves if they do then they change the gloves cleanliness is number one

Get in line rather than use app. Five guys doesn’t put your fries down until you get to the store which is fine. What the problem is everyone that is standing inline gets there order before you do. I have waited once I got to the store from a half hour to an hour to get my order. I have complained everytime with an “oh we are sorry”. My hamburgers are all cold and have to be reheated. I am deleting this app today and if I do go back will stand line.

How does it make ordering easier or quicker?. I order online just to wait in the same line as everyone else just to tell them to drop fries? So it never saves me time. I’m always waiting as long as if I ordered in store. Why doesn’t it give me a confirmation number or say to tell them my name? I show up and have a 16 digit confirmation number.. why is t it 3 or 4 digits? Why isn’t it my name and a number? It’s so awkward.

Fast. I love using this app because, it’s fast and I can use it on the go anywhere. My family and I enjoy the food and everyone is nice when I work in the door. This also saves my past orders if I wanna order it again. My uncle works for the company and y’all’s burgers are the best in town!

Accepts Gift Cards. I used to not use the app except to look up menu items. I use gift cards frequently, as it’s a fundraiser through our school, so I chose to order in person. Now I can order and pay before I leave for Five Guys! Easy to navigate, easy to pay, great food!

Can’t get the keyboard to go away. Great app and easy to use except when I am completing the info for delivery and the keyboard won’t go away to actually allow me to order. If I went to put special instructions for the driver the keyboard just stayed in the app and the ‘place my order’ button could not be pushed

Thanks staff. Missed a button and the app didn’t place my order. Staff was helpful even though I was frustrated. Totally my fault and I appreciated them understanding. Apologized although one staff member would not acknowledge it. Oh well, my fault I guess.

No way to ask for extra X. For some reason, the Five Guys we order from does not use sufficient condiments to be able to even taste them. This review isn’t about that, it’s about the app, but this sets up for the fatal flaw in this app. It’s impossible to ask for extra anything on a burger. Competitor apps have either the option to choose none/regular/extra or a notes section where you can type something in. And honestly, if mustard is too expensive, I’ll be happy to trade back some of my fries for it.

Roseburg Five Guys Finally Great Service Great Food. Finally I received great service at Roseburg location very happy to see this location coming around the service was quick and Friendly. The Food was great as the other location I have been to. Thanks Five Guys Michael

Mobile order. First time ordering and the app was really easy to use. I have tried to order online at other places and have never been able to succeed. I thank you for making this easy me. Can’t wait to get my food!

Great app, but what about my history?. I mostly love this app because it makes it extremely easy for me to quickly order what I want, from where I want, every time. That’s pretty much what I want in any app that helps me purchase things. However, there is one confusing and annoying feature (or lack thereof) that has so much promise, but totally falls short of being useful. It’s the feature that allows you to see your historical orders, and repeat one of them, with one click. If I’m looking through several historical orders, the information is only useful to me if I can see the details, like which condiments were added to each burger. This feature is of no use to me if I can only see that I ordered one bacon cheeseburger, one cheeseburger, and one regular burger, but I can’t see which condiments were added to those burgers. Please fix?

Love the app, but service not so hot!. I went in to place a to-go order. I was informed the servers weren’t working and people would have to order online. I did that. However, on a different note, what’s happened to the use of calculators? They’re available on all cell phones, and… everyone has one, especially the younger kids left to run the store! There were several people at this location at the same time I was. Some left! So, Five-Guys… that revenue went to your competitors! This is ridiculous on the management of that store!! Had I been the manager, I would have used a calculator to prevent folks from going elsewhere!

Just an amazing crew. I have eaten my fair share of five guys in the last five years. As someone thet maintains a keto diet for health reason, this location in particular has always provided five star food, service and professionalism. I’m not sure if it’s inherent to give guys or just this owner/operator but these guys are fantastic. Thank you for all the great food!

The most amazing burger!. This might be biased but Five guys got the best burger for me. Like I’ve had all the gourmet burgers you could ever have, and five guys just does it for me I know no matter where I go if there is a Five guys there is a great burger. And now I can just order it on my phone even Better.

Much simpler. Much simpler than the previous app and easier to use. Old app would not allow me to store my credit card. New app allows for Apple Pay, which is significantly easier. Makes the transaction quick and easy.

Tired of a whimsy burger. Five Guys is a bit pricey but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. It’s always quality, it’s always hot and fresh and I never leave their hungry. It’s not an every day lunch, more of a treat but very much enjoyed! The staff always makes me feel appreciated.

Updated app is great. Have used their older app for delivery orders and was annoyed by the lack of updates on the delivery status. The new app allows push notifications so much better experience now. Also super easy to put your order together.

Great. Still needs notes option on orders.. The app updates have shown great improvement. However, other restaurant companies offer sections for notes on their online and app ordering. Five guys does a great job handling certain allergens for people with food allergies, and when you order in person, it’s great. However, the app does not offer a space for notes. I order from other restaurants online that do offer spaces for notes, even per item. The Five Guys web and app designers could add a space for notes on orders I am sure.

Favorite burger place. Lets not even call this fast food because its not a McDs or BK its a burger joint that knocks out your food quickly and with the highest quality. About the app, one of the easiest food apps to navigate. Good Apple Pay option if thats for you, order notification progress. 10/10 will devour again

No Extra Cheese???. The app is good except for one issue: you can’t add extra cheese to your burger. You can add everything else, just not extra cheese. This puts more undue pressure on employees to answer the phone and then immediately put the person on hold to deal with the person in front of them in the store, thus defeating the entire purpose of the app

The Best. Everyone at the Zephyrhills store is absolutely amazing and great people skills!! I can’t say enough about the store and how great the food is and everyone that works there!!! It’s the best store I’ve ever been in and will never go to any other burger joint again!!!!

Great. There food always hot and ready and delicious, wonder why I rated it a 3 star because my first experience not getting my 2 burgers and I was very disappointed! My bf paid for it and he got his biggers but I haven’t got mine. And we called up there and a guy think we was lien and we wanted him to look at cameras but he said he will and will send a gift card in the mail and also call us back but he wasn’t true to his word and I usually checked but Idc if I’m rushing next time I will check in front of the camera !!

Change the payment screen. The app works just fine, but you need to change the payment screen! If you’re giving the options for apple pay, then don’t put the option to tip BELOW the option to select what payment option. I chose apple pay and it processed my payment before I could even add a tip. Which is absolutely aggravating bc I don’t keep cash on me and don’t want the delivery driver thinking I didn’t want to tip them. Change the setup!

Still Missing Needed Functionality. While the app gives users the ability to customize the burger order but it still doesn’t allow for the customization of things like Fries. You can order them without salt when ordered in store but no amendments are allowed in the app.

I wish I could marry this app. The five guys app has saved my life more than 11 times now. They have fed me, clothed me, and bathed me in their special A1 sauce and their divine mayonnaise. If I could swallow a whole 50 pound potato bag I would but only for them. Their Cajun fries are top tier I cry on sight whenever I eat the last fry. I’ve framed their peanut shells in my bathroom cupboard to remind me of how delicious their cracked peanuts are. 11/10 would use again. I love you.

Great customer service. There systems were down to take in store orders. Yet they told all the incoming customers that they could order through the app or website. The app was very easy to use

So glad there’s an App!!!. Aside from not being able to add more things in terms of quantity, I really love the fact that Five Guys has an app now!!! Extremely versatile and more convenient than ever before!!

Great Fries. Need Green Chile.. You “Powers-That-Be” need to figure out a way to get green Chile on your burgers.. your sales will sky rocket in the Albuquerque area. Have it delivered fresh daily…when it’s out it’s out… I don’t know.. figure it out. Your are missing huge sale potential in this metro… Best fries though.

Too Easy to Order. Man, they are making it way too easy to order. Right down to a clean simple to order interface and passing off Apple Pay at the end. They’re making it too easy to order, I’d be ordering burgers more often than I’d like! ✌️

Missing basic functionality. New review July 2022 Wow, what an update! Huge improvement over the previous version. This one looks like a modern iOS app. APPLE PAY support!!! So glad to see. All of my favorites came over without issue and the workflow to order is much cleaner and makes great use of app notifications rather than SMS they used previously. One minor issue - should support Sign In with Apple rather than having to create an account but I’m just so happy to see this much of an update I’m not going to dock them a star for not doing Sign in. Old review: Love the food and service but this app misses the mark in many ways. Trying to create an account and neither the email or password sections take leverage the built in capabilities of iOS. App needs to support Sign In with Apple to simplify the sign up process. App needs to support Apple Pay. There is no reason an app today should ask for my credit card information.

Best on line ordering site for food!!!. I love to order online from 5 Guys! You have the simplest and cleanest looking site in all the world of food service. It is the most intrinsic (user friendly) site in the business. KUDOS!

Incomparable Improvement. The version before this was a bit time consuming and dated, this new version cuts ordering time in half. They also integrated Apple Pay, which makes everything that much easier.

Compromised - Beware. My account was compromised last week. Someone ordered on my app in Beaverton OR. Called the shop to tell them about the order (it hadn’t completed yet). I was told the order was approved so I would have to go to corporate to get my money. Got a call from the manager in Beaverton upset that my credit card company took the money away. Hummmm - I DID warn him! On my side, I had to replace three credit cards. Cash from now on - if I even eat there.

Perfect. Really like ordering and able to put the time in I will be there to pick up. Usually ready within 5 mins. Staff at Oakdale store is always friendly even when extremely busy. Thanks Five Guys

Doesn’t work in Canada. Even though you have a link to this app on your Canadian homepage, this app is clearly not setup to work in Canada. Disappointing.

No support for restaurants in Canada. There are a few Five Guys restaurants opened in my city, but the application does not find them. It appears to only support the USA. What a shame!

Add Apple Pay. I’m not giving my credit card to your app, ever. Add Apple Pay support.

Canadian app store. You've posted this I'm the Canadian app store, yet none of the Canadian locations are list with this app. I'll update my review when this is fixed.

Five thumbs up. App works great and the food is always incredible. I have not had a bad experience here yet.

Does not work for Canadian locations. I tried to do a pick up order but it would not bring up any locations in my city. Great restaurant, lousy app.

The app is great. The food is even better. I love Five Guys burgers and especially the fries. My wife always wants ALL the fries. I love how the app lets you store and name multiple favourite orders. I use that feature all the time.

No Canadians. This really ticks me off. Why is this available to download on the Canadian App Store if it’s only for American users? All that downloading and signing up for everything only to not have your location recognized. There’s nothing that states this is solely an American app and the restaurants themselves have a Mobile Ordering sign and some even advertise this app. What’s the point?

not available in canada. all i wanted was a five guys burger today. this app’s restrictions made it impossible for me to get a five guys burger. five guys is not on uber eats or dash door anymore. i can’t drive. i will not walk an hour to my closest five guys. this is the worst day of my life.

Takes payment but no order sent. Should be 0 stars, Have used the app 3 times (winnipeg, Canada), app works well but the store never has the order or a record of it. Your asked to wait for pickup but everyone in line gets their oder then the staff has to look at your phone and make your order on the spot after you have waited. So its pointless, might as well just order in the store.

Buggy. Something is wrong with the credit card validation. Even in Canada it asks for zip code. Claims invalid address and/or zip code. McDonalds, Tim Hortons, Dominos don’t share the same concern. #LosingSales

No cheese?. Why don’t cheese burgers show up as an option on the app? It’s only hamburgers under burgers and you can’t add cheese as a topping.

Error oredering all the time…. I don’t know why people say it doesn’t work in Canada; I use it just fine here, fairly often. The only problem is that about half the time I go to use the app, I get my order entered, and when I hit checkout, I get “there was an error processing your request, please try again later”. Super annoying. Works for a while, doesn’t work for a while… no rhyme or reason why since the app doesn’t appear to have been updated in the last 11 months. Apple Pay support would also be nice…

High school project. App feels like a high school group project, not something that is supposed to represent a multinational burger chain. Crashes if you try to scan your credit card. Login is old school user name and password. User interface feels like a late 90s internet webpage

Disgusting Hygine. Staff are not trained properly. Watched my hamburger be prepared after burger maker goes to the back and touches who knows and scratches his nose then returns to finish making my burger without washing or changing gloves. Then I asked for my money back and find out they charged me anyways. I didn’t even take the bloody food. Never go back to this crappy place.

The way it should be. No coupons, no rewards. They prepare the order then drop the fries when you get there. Amazing.

App refuses to work on my IPhone 13 Pro. I tried all the usual steps (deleting the app, powering down ten a new reinstall, resetting my password, but nothing works. All I get is is a message stating that ‘someone told wrong’ when trying to connect with account details provided I can use the same account details to log in with a web browser, but the app refuses.

Ordering App. The app works but you can add extras to your sandwich. You can select the items you want but if you want extra pickles or anything else extra there’s no button for that.

NEW APP!!!!. The new App is GREAT! Very refreshing to navigate and order food and went by like a breeze! One of my favorite new features is accepting Apple Pay! It worked out perfectly for my situation!

App no longer working. I used to order through the app all the time but since January 2023 it has stopped working. I’ve deleted it, changed my password, etc… the app just will not log in. I can got to the website and log in with no issues. Please fix!

Great Visual Improvements. I haven’t ordered from Five Guys for a while, so this was my first time using the app since the big redesign. Everything is much clearer to read and better to look at and it matches the look of Five Guys very well.

Can no longer login. As of the newest update, I am no longer able to log into my account. I type email/password, it loads for like 3 minutes, then says “there was an error logging you in, would you like to change password”. Then I change password, try again, and then it does the same thing.

Easy to order. But a bit too easy. Some customization options have been removed. Used to be able to pick your cheese but now it’s American or none. Please let me select cheddar again!

Ordering in the app. Love the ease of ordering and paying through the app. The items are fully customizable. Would be nice to be able to order milkshakes in the app as well.

Great service. The Queensberry store has some of the best workers. Great service always smiling eat there at least once a week never had a complaint the pleasure going there.

Update made of fail. The recent update (july 2022) logged me out and refuses to let me log back in. Plus there’s four notifications to skip through EVERY TIME YOU OPEN THE APP asking you to turn on location services, share contacts, etc. Stop trying to make us disclose locations if we choose not to AND stop trying to fix what wasn’t broken! Now I can’t even get to my account.

new design <3. the new app design is a great improvement, however they removed the option to pay in store. I think that should be re-added.

It works very well. Unlike a majority of fast food place apps with the exception of maybe Chick-fil-A this works perfectly it’s simple fast and it’s definitely better than waiting in line.

Nice App. Finally a much needed update. Before it was like a static version of a web application with just html and css. Now it actually looks like an app should look.

Satisfaction for that salty need. I prefer the salty taste over sweet. Five guys provides the exact experience I’m looking for when I’ve had a tough week and am looking for a flavorful reward. Keep up y’all’s good work and thanks!

Online order. Very easy to use app and went smooth

Worst delivery ever. We have waited 2 hours, while tracking our order and still don’t have food. I can’t wait to enjoy a cold family dinner that we have to spend another 10 minutes reheating in the microwave. I love 5 guys burgers as does my family but “door dash” as a delivery service is a waste of time, and ruining the 5 guys as a brand… EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!!! For what we pay for “fast food” this is a shame

Password impossible to make work. I have wasted the last 30 minutes trying to create a workable five guys account using both my computer browser and my iPhone with the Five Guys app. I cannot log on more than one time with new credentials before it locks me out and makes me reset my password. This is ridiculous. Deleting

Easy reorder options!. They have really improved the ease of re-ordering from past orders. Thank you for the update!

Always good. But why don’t we earn points like rest of the food places. A free burger once in a while would be great given that they’re $10 now for a fast food cheeseburger

Great app update.. Easier to use than previous version. Apple Pay doesn’t work though and waiting times appear cropped.

Easy to use. Very convenient to order via the app while i wait for my Target pick up

Off screen. For some odd reason since the last update the time to pickup has been cut off. I’m forced to select ASAP instead of the time which is off screen. Stop hard coding your cards and make it flexible for smaller phones like the iPhone 8 which is nowhere out of date yet.

Great burgers and awesome fries !. Their burgers are fresh ground and the patties are hand formed and cooked to perfection! The buns are soft and toasted with any combination of toppings available. We love their fries crisp on the outside and like mashed potatoes on the inside, prepared fresh daily from top quality fresh potato. Great fast meal on the go!

Easy to use. The Five Guys app is very easy to find and customize your items. Other restaurant apps should be this easy!

Please add the ability to use a gift card!. It is great that you can order things online and place an order ahead of time, but I really want to be able to order ahead with a gift card.

Too easy to forget to tip. The new order flow implemented Summer 2022 is good, except I have to remember to scroll down to tip every time. If I set a tip and “place same order again” it would be nice to replicate the tip. Alternatively, add a setting to enable a default tip rate.

Improved Experience!. Thanks for upgrading the app to be able to order shakes! App ordering was a breeze this time! Can’t wait to eat! Love my Five Guys! ;)

More options. Like the new look. Need to add additional choices for toppings such as grilled jalapeños or lite mayo. Maybe that is under special assistance. Really needs to be when you are ordering the items.

Slow orders. Ordering from app is no faster than going in person to order. The trick might be to click “I’m here” when you’re 10 minutes out. I ordered, arrived and it still took 10 minutes. People that got there while I was waiting received their orders before I did. What’s the point of this stupid app if ordering ahead does nothing???

Notes. There should be a section to write notes and specific instructions for the order.

Always great service!. I always get exceptional service at this location. Very friendly staff food is great. Everything is clean. Couldn’t ask for more.

Sets the bar for restaurant apps. Does everything you want to do as fast as reasonably possible with no tiresome upsells or can’t get there from here dead ends, supports Apple Pay, and looks good doing it all.

Almost as good as the burgers. You already know 5 guys burgers are delicious, but I have to say they also have one of the easiest to use apps of any restaurant. Well done!

First Time - Impressed. Outstanding, simple to use app! I literally had my order in within 5-minutes of starting the downloading of the app!! This will become a regular for me!! ✌🏼🙏🏼👊🏼

An order of magnitude better. At some point in the last couple of years, the Five Guys app went from being a mediocre app to a well thought out, best-in-class app. Kudos!

Horrible app. 2nd time I’ve used it. Second time I drove away without the order going through. Last time I’ll use it.

Not working again. Every time I open it, doesn’t work with my password. Same one saved in my iPhone, so I know it’s right. So I can’t order in advance, so I go elsewhere where their app works. If it doesn’t get fixed, I’m deleting it. 10/11 Reinstalled it. Reset password again. 10/13 Password not working again. So I’m headed elsewhere again today.

Amazing. Four guys is the perfect meal to end each day. I love Four Guys not just because of the food but the atmosphere also. No other place does it like Four Guys

smooth app. well-designed and super-easy. Sorry, I accidentally hit the dislike button when I was signing up.

Navigation. It looks better and more streamlined than the old app. My only issue with it is that now it no longer tells you if your food is on the way, our for delivery, or what it’s been delivered. Please add that back

Lots of good things to say!. Ordering on their app was so easy! Staff were incredibly friendly and we received exactly what we ordered and it was juicy and very tasty! Price was a bit stiff but the food was so satisfying!

Terrible. The app and website are awful. I tried to order on the app and got all the way to the end, entered all my info and the keyboard wouldn’t go away so I could scroll to the bottom and confirm. So then I tried the website and added everything to the cart. Surprise! There’s no way to get to the cart! Nothing! Horrible experience and you just lost a customer.

Why is it so hard to pay online. Why was Apple Pay removed? Why am I forced to make all these accounts and get all these apps??? What’s the convenience here? I hate the world right now. And now five guys was added to the list of places I will no longer visit purely because I refuse to spend 15 minutes trying to input an order in and my card number.
