Solid Meme App. Been using pivot for a year and had a great time, community is a small bit cancerous but you take the bad with the good. The actual format of the app could use some work as well, but if you want QUALITY MEMES this is the place to go.

Terrible coding. If you write a comment beyond the maximum letter count, it won't tell you until you try to post the comment and then it'll delete what you wrote anyway, forcing you to write your entire dissertation again. Just awful, also the admins are power tripping micro-managers akin to a shift lead running their McDonald's like a navy boot camp, because that's all they'll get in terms of real power and it gets to their head, only use this app for funny memes and go about your day, you'll do yourself an immense favor

Great app!. Perfect app to create memes and gifs! Easy to use and not bloated with features you’ll never use. Some classic gifs that have been created with the app still make their rounds in my group chats even after a couple years.

Terrible community. I use this app for creating memes and I just tried to get into the community and view memes and I completely regret it. The app is full of weebs and admins who can rule over everything. The other people on this app and flock to a "repost" and try to crucify you. There are some accounts talking about how anybody who does any repost should be torn from the app and should never return, and in some cases, they are due to the admins who have ultimate power over everybody. Again, decent meme creator.

Ayyy that's pretty good. It's a good app and all. It's just a shame it's censored. I posted some good oc but it was torn down because it had a poorly drawn picture of hitler. Some bull if you ask me

The admins are it’s one and biggest flaw. I’ve been on this app forever, I have thousands of saved memes from it. I don’t post many things, nor really do much but like and dislike some things. But out of nowhere, when I went to dislike a video of a monkey hurting a baby... it said I was banned. I rarely talk to anyone, I haven’t said anything racist, sexist, or homophobic, but I was banned for “community reports” this is honestly upsetting, because I haven’t even met a single admin before, and thought people were complaining about them just to complain. But apparently they are actually so corrupt, they just ban you if they feel like it. I’ve tried getting into contact with them through Email to find out why I was banned, but they have just ignored me, I’ve had anxiety over being so hurt that I was banned, and without finding out what I did. It’s just upsetting coming on the app every day to enjoy some memes, then being treated like actual trash for no reason. I’m not using this app ever again unless I get an answer to why I was banned, and until I get unbanned because I haven’t done anything wrong. This is just, really really upsetting....

Makes me less suicidal. This app is great 99% of the time and the other 1% is 12 users doing some stupid trend that nobody thinks is funny but it gets upvotes for some god forsaken reason.

It need an issue fixed.. Great app, I love it, I love to make memes. Some sort of meme I’ve never made was a video meme. So I tried it and wanted to crop a video, like in actual size, not how long or shot the video was, but in size. I was amazed that this app could do it, but then when I cropped the video. It came out black. Nothing on the cropped footage. So I was wondering if you guys could look into that? It would really help. Great app though. 5/5 stars no doubt 👍🏻 oh yeah one more thing, could you guys make it possible to add your watermark on a video you create? That would be amazing tbh. Thanks for listening.

The force is with this app. Absolutely foul, offensive, and probably illegal in some states. This is the freshest, spicy meme machine of an app you'll ever sink your white privileged teeth into. Hate the human race? No problem! So does everyone on this app. Download it, go pro, and procrastinate all the important things like your job, wife, kids, and any other responsibilities you may have.

Good but...... It’s a great app, I use it for memes I make all the time, however, DO NOT pay for creating the videos. Whenever I try to do that it tells me “videos only” when I am selecting a video. The app is well worth it if you are just going to use it for photos, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s just not good.. Ive been on the app since 2016, and I enjoyed building my account up, being recognized for some funny memes. However, Now the admins decide what is funny or not, none of its enjoyable. It’s very one sided with what is supposed to be on this app now. Most of the time, the other users come off as racist, insensitive, or violent. Ruining the app for funny pics or laughs, and being filled with politics or how the app has gone off. I am not sure what they have to fix other than the users, they template is wonderful and it runs very well, just the environment ruins the app for me and lot of my friends who I got on this app. Thank you for the laughs over these last 4 years!

Glitched here. I love this app and the community. It's " friendly " most of the time but it's great to talk with people that have similar interests as you. And even better you like memes. And there's many different users for different type of things. It's a very unique community and I would never delete it.

Greatest meme app ever. This is by far the best meme app I’ve ever used. I searched far and wide for a meme app like this, this is amazing. The censorship is not oppressive, the tools are excellent and easy to use! The community is great, I’ve not had issues with app performance at all! Admins decide what’s funny or not.. I have been on this app for many years and I have truly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, of late the Administrators of this app have been taking it into their own hands to “private” any post they don’t find funny to them. Unfortunately, because humor is subjective, they disagree with the vast majority of the app on what is funny, and private posts that otherwise might have made it to the popular page. The vast majority of these posts are made by active users, and much of it is original content they put thought and effort into. It’s unfair, and many old friends, acquaintances, and other popular and old users are leaving until the condition of the app changes. I shall replace my 1 star review with a 5 star if the app returns to it’s former state, and the community decides what is funny or not. And sadly, I did purchase the pro version, yet my money is going to waste here. If the app continues as is, i’ll have to uninstall one of the few applications I actually cared enough about to invest both time and money in.

Good app. Would totally recommend to just about everybody. Has a great community deep down. On the surface not so much. Amazing memes though most are stolen. Has a great and simple meme maker and all around useful for memes and friendly to new people.

Horrible superiors and moderation. I’ve been using this app for over 5 years and it’s one of my favorite sources of memes and stuff, it’s where i even met most of my friends, but the app has recently taken a tumble lately due to the owner turning to the greed side of thing and banning people left and right to turn the app into facebook. And the owner won’t take action upon admins who are clearly in need of demoting/banning/removing on the app, and he won’t because they have some personal connection and he doesn’t care. it’s sad to see something that i loved to go on to talk and post with friends go to the wayside and ban the users that made it what it is in the first place. do not buy this app, and then we’ll really show how much of the app really is a business.

Picto good. I’ve been using picto for years now and ever since then the meme quality has been consistent and spicy. 10/10

YaBoyTreeanThePianoMan. Despite all the cancerous content and memes on the Internet, Pictophile is an oasis in an ever-expansive meme desert. The place really feels like a community, and after spending 2 years on this app, I can proudly give it a 5 star rating.

Ifreakinglovepickles4000. This app is great for watching and viewing memes and talking with a variety of different people, it’s great for making friends and interacting with others with similar interests.

The app is good, just a few things to improve on. This is the best app I have for editing memes, and all of the features work greatly for a mobile application. Would be nice if a watermark feature was added for plus, though and maybe a few more extra features so I can make memes better without having to use other apps

Daily User. I only use my phone for about three hours a day and I spend about an hour of that on Dopameme. I’ve been using Pictophile/Dopameme for four or five years. I’m a meme amateur, so I couldn’t tell you if the tools are the best, but all of the memes I’ve ever made, I’ve made using this app. Most of the time I find myself lurking on the app looking at the memes other people have made. The community can be rowdy, but they’re real people and I like that users aren’t afraid to be friends, they genuinely like to joke around and say outlandish things that only friends say to each other. I haven’t had a lot of interaction with Derek, the guy who programmed Dopameme, but I appreciate this app. After using Dopameme, I really haven’t found anything that could replace it.

Random is gone. BRING RANDOM BACK. Looking through popular doesn’t take long if you check it often and random was a great way to keep finding posts. I honestly don’t know how you can not have random. Like why get rid of it? At this point, posts just get buried and are never seen again. Please bring it back, this app isn’t as good without it.

Editing supreme. Pictophile has been the most used gif making app for me. The app has some things I would like to see implemented, but overall it's very easy to use and works great!

Can’t use gif feature to make memes in templates. I love this app, and I would give 5 stars but I launched the app and tried to make a meme from the gif options or from my camera roll and it said unacceptable content. How is it unacceptable when this app is made for making gif memes! Please fix this Developers

This app is on a downwards spiral.. I’ve been using this app for roughly over 3 years now. In the past, it was bearable. A little rough around the edges but bearable. People were nice atleast. Now it’s a hellhole. Shitposts are the only thing keeping the app alive, and the primary owner of the app, Derek, a sellout, decides to remove them entirely to appeal to a newer audience of really dumb children. Also the admins in the app have the ability to browse your private messages. And if you criticize them in any way shape or form, you get silenced in the form of being banned, often permanently, or having the post deleted. It’s a shame to see how far this app has fallen.

If you rate below 5 stars please die. I’ve had this app for almost 2 years took breaks from now and then but never got rid or it because it has a very good community, well sometimes 🤣 but being honest here best choice to download this app, and hope you get better Derek life will continue to move forward which means you don’t have to stop and give up, just make with what you got and keep going. Amazing GIF Tool and MEME Maker. It slices, it diced, it does almost anything that can be done with both GIFs and videos. It will combine, convert, scale, colorize, apply text, etc. and it will do it well. Love it!

Love this. But can you also have a demotivaional poster generator too, please? Also, please fix the glitch on gif maker too, please. My gif keeps getting g turned sideways and I can't edit that

Terrible admins. I’ve been on this app since 2015. Back then the place was full of users, old and new. Admins kept the app in check making sure no inappropriate posts were being publicized or that the users weren’t harassing one another. All was flourishing and good in the app. Fast forward to today. Users are constantly leaving because the corrupt admins are banning their friends over personal grudges or because they think they know what’s funny and what isn’t. The app now only has a couple dozen users trying to keep it alive. And the users that tried to help the app become more known and popular amongst the other meme apps are ironically being banned by the admins with little to no reasons. The admins either need to get their stuff together or they need to be stripped of their privileges because the app has gone down a seriously steep path and the main reason is because of its god awful administration.

Great app. Makes me laugh. Lots of the people are very depressed on there and for that very reason you're gonna wanna avoid conversation with them. Good memes though. 10/10

Scrubbing Bubbles ruins the app. Paid 4 dollars for this app twice, and each time I’ve been banned for literally no reason, with no warning, purely because you post a meme that he specifically doesn’t like. This is a great app with great people, but you can’t say anything bad about the mods without them having a tantrum.

Ever since the most recent update the amount of porn and mentally disturbing gifs has risen too high, I mean I can't even flick through the recents without being scarred by gorey gifs like car crashes and accidents. Hmm yes. This is a surprisingly decent app. The aesthetic is very 2009 and I don't even mind, cause the level of customisability and the broad community make up for its very few flaws, like how difficult it is to grow is subs (but you get over it) The admins are great people, it's pretty conflict free and most importantly, it isn't iFunny. I rate 8/8.

Waste of money. Garbage . Doesn't work / open the images properly and from what I can see from the part that does work is that unless you're 8 its not worth buying. Pretty much is a huge collection of those really annoying unfunny pics with texts you see on Facebook .

Decent app. I don't see why it's getting bad responses the only time you get hate from the users is when you do something stupid like reposting recent images/gifs/videos or if you're a bornie/furry lover. Honestly follow their rules and you should enjoy the app, I haven't once been targeted at all by the users through my experience.

Great time killer. Been a pro user for about 3 years. Fantastic image/gif editor, improving with each update. As a bonus there is a vibrant community of degenerates and weeaboos posting all kinds of insanity that's really quite charming once you get to know them. Just be sure to go in with thick skin, and don't take things too seriously. Oh yeah. You can make yourself a dandy profile with gifs, videos, music, and all the text a monkey with a typewriter like you can churn out. The future is now.

Admins will ban you for posting things they don’t like. Have had two accounts permanently banned by the owner of the app with no explanation only found out it was because I was posting memes he personally did not like. Poorly run Download ifunny instead and save your money for a cheeseburger or something

Times have changed, not for the better.. This app is run by a trio of admins who couldn’t be more authoritarian if they tried. I’m not talking about breaking rules, but I’m talking about calling out their hypocrisy, speaking out against unjust bans and fighting the fact everything you post, if not “acceptable” in their eyes will be removed. This used to be a solid community, and a fun one at that, now with a good portion of valuable users banned for speaking against the power-drunken admins, you can expect the only memes you’ll see being uploaded by the admins, and trust me, if you want that trash, use Twitter or Reddit. This used to be fun, admins used to be kind. It was a family, dare I say. When that was shattered, what was the lead admin’s defense? “This app is a business” A wise man was given a choice between Ifunny and Pictophile. He walked away.
