Great App. This is so far the best Quran application I have ever come across. It has so many features that help you easily understand the Quran, say your prayers and help you keep up as a Muslim generally. The app has really helped me especially during Ramadan and after. I give kudos to the developers of this app and every other person that contributed one way or the other. However I would like to bring to your notice that the call to prayer (Azan) doesn’t finish playing when it’s time for prayer it just plays one or two statements from the Azan and it stops. It would be really great if that can be looked into. Generally this is a very helpful app, Jazakallah.

Best app I’ve used for the Quran thus far. This app has been the most user friendly app I’ve used this far. It does not have ads playing. You can search words in the Quran. It has tasfir break downs. Prayer times, verse of the day etc. very good app.

Love this App! Great Tafsir.. Alhamdulliah, I love using this app. The Tafsir is impeccable! It really breaks down the verse in an understanding way. Very easy to use and has really transformed my Ramadan. Do you guys have the Tafsir written down in a book form? I would love to have and own a Quraan with this particular Tafsir you guys have included in the app inside of it. Please let me know. Beautiful app. this app allowed me to listen to quran as i sleep without draining too much battery and it also helped me keep track of the hours of quran i was listening to in my sleep. so excess able and useable. best app i have across.

It just got a whole lot better. I used this app for its nice layout but after the update I noticed the commentary added breaks down the Arabic meaning of the words used. Subhanallah, that was what I needed. Cant trust translation since the original scripture is made with high intelligence and valuable words many languages do not have such as English. May Allah reward you for this.

Update is not so great. I had this app for a couple of years now and since the recent update I’ve noticed some issues. The transliteration is cut off on some Ayats, keep stoping recitation, doesn’t save where left off and constantly asks for enabling location when opening app. I can make a few others but I would like in the near future inshallah if we can have an option to switch to the old layout. The new seems a little complex.

Wonderful app!. This is my first time throughly reading the Quran, (this app has allowed me to) after multiple trials and errors with other apps. I would like to touch upon the usefulness of the many features included within this application. Firstly, the page layout is customizable. You can choose what color you want for the header of the page, Light/Dark mode, font size, and so much more! You also have the option to bookmark verses, and add titles/descriptions to it. Moving on to the homepage, the minutes of time spent on the app, and the number of verses read are recorded, which is a great motivating factor to read more. I’m sure there are many other features, that I have not yet explored since I just downloaded the app. However, I can say that I am for sure sticking with it! ❤️

highly recommended. Cant think of how many times ive recommended this app to friends directly as well as through insta story. as a non arabic speaker, my problem has been not understanding what ive read about and this app has the feature to deliver a deeper inderstanding on certain ayat. the goal setting feature is extremely helpful as i lately set only 1 ayat a day, but reading the translation and tafsir carefully rather than reading so many of them and still not having any idea what ive read about. hoping this app reaches more person ✨

Finally! An Islamic app that is tailored to my preferences. I was born in the 90’s so Im assuming what im looking for in an app isnt like other generations. I mostly love it for two things, verse of the day and prayer times. The verse of the day is an awesome feature. I feel like its talking to me directly like somehow its there for me because it often answers or expands my understanding of whatever im thinking about that day. You know sometimes your feeling blue and you pray that Allah helps you and your like let me randomly open the Quran in the hopes that the page you land in will have answers for you… this app is like that for me. I also like they regularly improve and add more features. Thank you Holy Quran team! Nice work.

Allahu Akbar. As a new follower and reader of the Qur’an this app has helped me strengthen my knowledge and understanding of who Allah is while being able to apply the teachings of the book to my everyday life! The prayer reminders are amazing as I know they’ll be helpful as I continue to study and devote my life to continuing to serve Allah as he would have me serve through love and light!

Excellent App with a (new) small bug. For a person who is learning Arabic as a second language, I find this app is excellent to get exposed to the Quranic teachings. Recently, however, I’ve noticed that clicking on the badge part in the upper right corner of the screen no longer brings up the pop-up window showing progress. Instead, it just reverts to the Home Screen of my iPad. Can this be fixed? Again, thank you for creating this app, and making it available to explorers like myself.

False translation and tafsir. Bad translations, also has false tafsir and does not quote scholars of the salaf it just has random stuff written down with no reference, it also says Allah is above a imaginary throne, and distorts Allahs attributes, Ibn Abd al-Barr a major scholar who said in one of the greatest books of Islam, al-Tamhid, that there is CONSENSUS of the scholars that all of the Allahs attributes are NOT metaphorical and they are taken LITERAL, and Harb bin Ismail al Kirmani said in his book al sunnah, he is a major student of Imam Ahmed and was considered the biggest scholar of Kirman at the time, he said it is NOT tashbih to affirm his attributes, this is also what all 4 imams were upon. So DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP TRANSLATION IS FALSE.

Volume control. I LOVE this app but it would be sooooo soo sooooo much better if the volume of the english translation matched the arabic recitation. Theres been many times ive missed the translations and in turn miss so much valuable information because of this and its incredibly frustrating

Wrong information.. “He Himself is the tree, the seed, and the germ. He Himself is the flower, the fruit, and the shade. He Himself is the sun, the light, and the lighted. He Himself is the manifold form, and the infinite space; He is the breath, the word, and the meaning. He Himself is the limit and the limitless, and beyond both the limited and the limitless is He. There are no words to tell that which one is He”. These are the words of the Indian poet Kabir who was a Hindu , which has no place in Quran . None of the Islamic books talk about Allah this way. The entity of Allah is completely different and far from these hindu verses. You need to remove it .

Amazing. I have down loaded so many Quran apps. And this one is better than the rest. The best thing is it remember where you left off. Most don’t do that. And you can pick from a lot of people to who you want to hear speaking. It is perfect.

Great app. Salam, This is my preferred Quran app, & the new UI update is okay. However there are a few points to make for improvement: -No landscape mode: I like to use the app on my phone and iPad. On the iPad, landscape is a plus to have and it was removed with the nee update. -Transliteration problem: The transliteration is cut off appearing like (Bismill...). Thus it is impossible to read the entire transliteration. As if word wrap is deactivated or something and there is no way on the users end to fix this. Thank you for building this app and continuing to update. I also wondered if the text is reviewed because I caught a number of typos in my use of this app.

No Option to hide translations. I love this app but the recent update has messed it up for me. I usually hid the translation when reading but now that option is gone. Please fix this.

Beautiful App with one Set back. I absolutely love the Ui the customizable options for reading and the recitations , the fact it has the Qibla and Adthan aswell , but the Azans won’t work for some reason , I’ve enabled all notifications on my phone , but I can’t even sample the Azans

Stopped working on new iPhone. My daily go-to favorite app that I had been using on iPhone 5 for years. It stopped working when I upgraded to iPhone 8 (iOS 13). Deleted, re-installed, still does not work. Launches, displays a blank screen for a few seconds, then closes :( PLEASE FIX IT !!!

Best translation. I love this translation and tafsir. Don’t listen to some of the Saudi/Wahabi-sponsored comments about the translation, no other translation gives me that feeling of closeness to Allah. Many comments are out of ignorance rather than knowledge. So my advice inform yourselves first and read the translation and use your common senselike Allah instructs us to. Jazakhallah khair for this app. Peace to everyone and I pray for guidance for everyone.

Incredible App! Alhamdulillah. As a revert I wanted something I can listen to on the go, as I spend most of my day on the road. This app is perfect and quite frankly one of the easiest Quran apps I’ve used till this day. Great for someone wanting to listen to the Quran or even read it. It also provides commentary and explanations for every verse which is awesome and they even offer transliterations and audio both in English and Arabic.

The latest update is terrible!. This is a wonderful app, but the latest update is full of issues. The Azans no longer work, the auto location feature for prayer times doesn’t work anymore, and even in the discover section the pictures are stretched out and don’t display properly. It’s a shame because otherwise it’s a great app and these things were fine before I updated the app.

It’s pretty good.. I like everything about this app, it’s everything I ever wanted except for one thing. I just wish they had more English narrators. The one that they have is great but he is just too happy for me. He narrates like he is speaking to little kids. Some may Prefer him but I want to listen to someone who is more serious in their tone. But all and all it’s a good app.

Great design, poor fonts. This app is by far the cleanest-looking Quran app I’ve seen in the App Store. It has a minimalistic design that is refreshing to the eyes. However, the Arabic fonts will let you down. There is a selection of 5, and each is worse than the other. Most of them have little to no spacing between each word, making it difficult to read. Other fonts don’t even render Arabic letters conjoined, they appear separated so again, it becomes difficult to read. I want to love this app, but the Arabic fonts make it completely unusable. I hope the developers fix this.

Great 😊. I can’t even express how happy I am about finding this app I love it so much and highly recommend it to others. I love how when it reads it to you in Arabic then translates it in English 👍 This is great for people who don’t know Arabic, the app is also simple and easy to use. ☪️

Great app. As a Christian I am not afraid to read other religious books out of fear of conversion unlike most of my Muslim friends. This app has been a huge blessing in helping me to have more deep conversations with friends and has opened my eyes to a lot of things that I hadn’t know about Islam before.

Love the app, questions tho. I love the app, helps me keep track of how much I’m reading . The goal setting helps out a bunch as well. If I close the app, is there a setting to stay on the ayat I am reading?? Like a bookmark

Wonderful app only 1 issue. I love this app for keeping up with my prayer times and now with the discover portion I can learn more about Islam quickly and easily. The only problem I’ve encountered so far is my location won’t enable automatically, I have to enter it manually, which is fine for the most part, I just want to have the most accurate timing regardless of where it located

Attention please.. Assalamu alaikum. I just want to say I love this app for my iPhone but I wish it was also available for my sons kindle fire. This is his favorite Quran app and he has already learned so much but his time with my phone is limited so having it on his device would increase his exposure to the Quran. I converted 2 years ago and started memorizing around the same time. Using this app along with others my 4 year old son started memorizing the Quran and even the Arabic words all by his self. He’s 5 now and he’s gotten distracted by other games but always comes back to this app. If it’s not possible to get this on amazons App Store then I guess I’ll try getting him an iPad. By far the most accurate translation. I am impressed by that translator and his knowledge in ArabIc. I’d love to buy a hard copy as well. The app is great and I love the prayer times with Azam’s and the Qibla compass is so so useful. The developers went above and beyond to make this the best Quran app I have used. A must have for all Muslims!

This is it!. There are many apps to choose from, but this app is all that one needs. If you seek the truth with a sincere reverence for it, you will enjoy this app. I can not think Allah enough for his many provisions, and above all, The Quran. Used to be the best. This was my favorite Quran app but now I’ll be looking for another. After taking off the index it’s been harder to find what I’m looking for in the app . Sadly I’ll be having to replace this app for another if they have the ability to search via topic like this app once did . Sad to see such a great app go down hill .

Wonderful App. Wonderful App. I do not know how to speak Arabic and being born and raise in America and half of my family being full white American I drifted away from Islam and religion. Luckily I came across this app and began reading the Quran in English and reading the words for myself has brought me back to Islam and on the right path. Just in time for Ramadan. Not much more you can ask for from any application and I appreciate it being free for all to use.

Text not visible. I’m leaving the Quran and it’s been my go to app for a quite awhile. I’ve been using this for more than 6 months and no issues, but ever since this update I’ve received the following issues: surahs take longer to load now instead of just a quick second, and when text In English transliteration is long you can’t read the last parts, it ends with … meaning there is still more left to the Surah.

Best Reference and highly Interactive!. Alhamdulillah! I’ve gone through lot of quran applications like this one. In my opinion, so far this is the best application. But one thing needs mentioning is that this application uses only “English and Arabic” languages. My question is that why are you not using other languages like Bengali, Urdu etc? We like to learn quran in our mother languages. Thank you very much. May Allah render you the best abily you can.

I want to undo the update. I loved this app until it’s recent update. Before the update I was able to choose color schemes and the layout was perfect. Each Surah was recited automatically and you could choose to repeat each ayah or loop. Now all of the aforementioned functions are gone. I have to press play on every surah. Hey developer please bring back those functions. I really don’t want to switch to another Quran app.

Great App, 1 suggestion. This app is amazing. I wish we could annotate tho, like highlight and keep our own notes on the app. I think it would take this app to the next level.

Notifications for daily verse?. Please make a way that I can control settings for daily verse notification. I would like to receive daily verse notification at a certain time. Please make font bigger. I’m talking about the part where you have to choose the chapter. Like if I want to choose/click ‘Al Fatiha’ it is small but the font to read when you click is big. I would like to set the size font to large for that not just to read.

Poor Quran recitation. This app is phenomenal for everything BUT listening to Qur’an. The prayer times feature with many Azans is super helpful, the tafsirs and transliterations are amazing, and the discover page is extremely unique and informative. However, when you get to listening to the Qur’an, it falls apart. It’s extremely disappointing that you can’t start a surah from “Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim,” and instead you have to play from the first Ayah. Also, it’s incredibly annoying that when you play a surah, it does not play the whole Surah together. Instead it plays each verse as a separate audio file, which causes really annoying pauses between every verse, as the next verse loads. It’s a great app, but I wanted an app that I could use for listening, and unfortunately this isn’t it.

I love this app!. 1) There are no annoying ads. It’s very straightforward and to the point of which it is supposed to serve 2) There’s so many options on the Quran styles and reciters 3) The reflections and commentary in the Syrah’s are such a God send! (despite some grammatical errors) Jazakallah Khyran to the makers and contributors of this app! It is great! Alhamdulilah!

Tafseer Deviation. While this app seems well designed and probably well intentioned. I have found certain interpretations biased and deviated from the actual meaning when compared to multiple tafseers. For example the tafseer of ayah related to event of prostration of angels (2:34) when Adam (AS) was created is totally off the rails. I found multiple discrepancies and deviations in other places as well. It’s best to compare and not take this app’s data as primary source. Please revisit the tafseer and tread fearfully as well as carefully. May Allâh grant us all the best possible knowledge we are able to comprehend. Ameen!

Free and Simple.. Please keep it free 100% this is the only advice I can find an English I having to pay a premium subscription for something that I want to understand in the second language I learned the other which is in Spanish.

Amazing. If you can read Arabic, like me, it’s a great way to read Quran also it great because even if women are on there monthly cycle, they still can read Quran and you can read the Quran without having to worry if you broke your wudu!!!!

I love this app, but one small thing could be added onto…. I love this app but when you get to the end of the week it resets your spot! I want to continue reading from where I was at the week before but it completely jumped from the second Surah back to the beginning. Everything else about this app is amazing though and it is an amazing resource, especially if you have just converted/reverted as it has all the times for prayer and a compass showing you which direction the Makkah is in. Great app!

Enjoying reading and listening. Good app. Easy to follow along. Can listen in Arabic and English. You can even just read it silently. Need to keep your screen open so it doesn’t turn off while listening or redo your settings. Overall 5 stars.

Amazing App. They recently created a new UI that made everything look aesthetically pleasing. Everything is compacted into one app; you have prayer times, the Quran with translation and transliteration, multiple selections of reciters, and qibla. This app wishes to LIE to Muslims. STAY AWAY!. This app has hindu descriptions of Allah, meaning to verse that we don’t know where they came from, lies such as “we can get connection to Allah through divine beings”, it has not sources for any they get their tafsir. Who are the makes of this app and what are their intentions? This app has been up for atleast 7 years Subhanallah

Wrong meaning. With all due respect Whoever designed this application gave a meaning to the Quran verse “Alif Lam Meem”. The reality is no one knows the meaning to that verse except Allah and any scholar you ask will tell you the same. Please do your research and remove the meaning you have given for the verse Alif Lam Meem as it is a false meaning. Thank you.

Overall good Quran app. Needs some small improvements. This app is overall very good. Great effort to the creators. Couple of things, 1. Needs a fast ayat scroller on the left side. iQuran has this option and it’s very handy. Also need copy paste option for the text to include the English translation.

App ruined. The app used to be great, until they ruined it. This is actually a crazy phenomenon with Quran and prayer time apps. Whenever there is a Quran app that is perfect and works fine, an update eventually goes out that ruins the app. The UI update worsened the UI and made most things less intuitive. But most importantly, the prayer times reminder no longer works. This is sad because it used to be perfect until they ruined it. Now I no longer get any prayer notifications and I’m missing prayers. So now I have to move to another app since this is a deal breaker for a Quran app who’s most fundamental use is a prayer time reminder. If it can’t do this, than it is worthless. Very sad that this app was ruined. Wish they just left it as it was.

New update needs to revert to the older version please. The latest update has ruined your best features. It was better before when you could see all of the transliteration, which is useful for people who are still learning how to read the verses. Now the transliteration is cut in many places and when you tap on it, it doesn’t expand it unless there is a tafsir link. Please return it to as it was. Thank you for your hard work on this app!

Pretty good and idea for the app. I love this app it’s nice but with transliteration it doesn’t fully show what’s written so u can’t see unless u press tafsir. U feel like this app since it updated and hass all these things it could have beginner Arabic for ppl to be able to start the Quran in Arabic and start learning the meaning of the words. There's no credible background provided about the Tafseer/Commentary in the app. The developer has not provided details about the authenticity of the commentary/Tafseer and neither does he has any credible website or contact details to provide background to this. I'll strongly recommend all Muslims to be cautious of this and make an inform decision if the source is credible enough or not.

This app is from non- Muslim community. This community ahmediyya, do not believe on finality of Last Prophet Muhammad(PBUH). This is fabricated translation according to own view of community.The numbering of verses is also incorrect. Therefore inappropriate and regarded as blatant violation of sanctity of religious book of islam. This book must be taken down from the apple app store.

Misleading Translation. Open Any authentic Quran with English translation and compare with this one. Surah Fatiha last verse is wrong, Quran translation should be considered a very sensitive matter, no tolerance for mistakes, a mistake at the very beginning of Quran should show you that you cannot trust the translations of this Quran.

Very INACCURATE Translation. This app could have been by far my favorite among those that I use to read translations of the Holy Quran, however once I started reading further into Suras it just absolutely SHOCKED me how inaccurate the offered translations along with “explanations” given in brackets in each Ayat were! To give an example, Sura Al Jinn - starts with “It has been revealed to me that a company of Jinns listened to the Quran, and then in brackets it provides the so called transliteration of the verse: “Jinns were the Non-Arab Jews, who were called so at the time due to their harsh traits”. Are you serious?! Is this some kind of a joke? So the translators in this Quran believe that Allah the Almighty talks not about the Jinns in this Sura (as we know) but rather talks about a group of men of Jewish heritage, which is obviously inaccurate. This statement of theirs actually contradicts itself because later in the Syrah they translate the verse “OF humans and Jinns” many times as it is, which proves that Jinns here are referred to as a separate entity than humans. I have a feeling this app has been designed by someone who having a weakened Iman tries to justify and “rationalize” the Verses by providing self-interpreted transliterations. Can’t judge, Allah Alim. I do not recommend the app though.

Transliteration does not display fully. The app is good because it has transliteration for me to recite, but the transliteration part of some ayah is not displaying fully, like it’s missing, I don’t get it why? Please fix.

.. I thought it was good and all till it turned out they had Hindu definitions of “who is الله” making him sound like a worldly thing Astagfullah. May الله subhanahu wa ta’ala deal with the person if they did this intentionally. La hawla wala qouta illa billah.

This is a Quran app that I would strongly recommend!. It has everything you need and it is very user friendly! Well done! I appreciate the effort you guys put into making this By the way guys, any translation of the Quran in any language other than Arabic is incorrect, because words in Arabic have plain meanings and much deeper meanings. What you guys need is tafseer. Everything else is great though and it’s way better than the other apps. I’m a picky person and refuse to use things that are imperfect, and I loved this!

Corrupt Quran. The app is corrupt! The fatiha says and Not of those who have NOT angered You or have NOT gone astray. It should say and not of those who HAVE earned Your anger and not of those who HAVE gone astray

Incorrect translation!!. I’ve been reading translation off of this app for so long until I got to Syrah Al Arif. The first Ayat الٓمٓصٓ and the translation is not correct. I would love to know who the creator and translators are.

Some Improvements that are needed. I find this app really helpful for non Arabic speakers to understand the verses of the Quran. It provides a dissent commentary and explanation of problematic verses but the translation ins't accurate and somewhat confusing sometimes . Hence I suggest that the maker of this app replace the current translation with the one of Yusuf Ali and add more supporting hadiths to enhance the the comprehension of some problematic verse.

Inaccurate. This app was my most favourite one and I thought it is reliable but it turned out that some of the surahs are not even accurate such as surah 76. Throughout the app translation are wrong. Please avoid using this app because Quran translation is a serious matter in which no mistakes are tolerable

This app probably is for Ahmadiyys. At the surah “AL MAIDAH”, Ayat 117 (english) this app indicates that prophet ISA (a.s.) said: ...I was a witness over them (only) so long as I remained among them but ever since You caused me to die”. CAUSED ME TO DIE? On holy Quran translations I have always read “...but when You took me up”. :(

Not Translated Correctly in Several Places. This translation changes the meaning of 10:94, 15:9 and 16:43; but is not bad in 4:136, 5:46-47, 5:68, 7:157, 21:7, and 28:46 where the Qur’an clearly states the Bible is the perfect, preserved and trustworthy word of God/Allah. Great app but missing word in Surah Al-Saffat. A great app to use- I’ve been reading the Quran from it this Ramadan. However, in Surat Al-Saffat verse 133 it is missing the word ‘messengers’ in the end of the verse. The Arabic and English recitations both have it both it is missing in the text.

Prayer times. There is something wrong with the prayer times. It keeps on saying clock to show prayer times. I tap it and the times don’t show. Another bug needs to be fixed. Otherwise, everything else is great.

Need assistance some bugs. Every time I play the recitation it reads three or four verses then jumps to Al-Nas. I have come to memorize and it now frustrates me. I want to hear the whole Quran. Please help. I have the latest version. Inshallah I'll be able to hear it and memorize all soon.

Makes it easier. I’m an Arabic and English speaker but I cannot read Arabic fluently, the Holy Quran app has made it easier for me to access allah’s word and I’m keeping it on my phone forever.

Translation. Which English translation is it? There is no reference or description about the author of translation. Without the reference, I’m not sure if I can believe the translation.

This is serious situation. There are errors in the English translation, for example there is synonymous words in Arabic has different meaning like (نساء) means women but it also means things that comes leat like cars, phones, or everything that made after the book come.

!! Too many translation and commentary mistakes.. Please avoid downloading this app. It contains numerous translation and commentary errors. Specifically, in Surah 5:17 and 5:117, it incorrectly claims that Jesus is dead and will not return. As we all know, this assertion is not accurate. I attempted to contact the app developers, but unfortunately, they did not respond. I recommend reporting and uninstalling this app.

could use an update. it appears you are referencing bible verses in the commentary? I haven’t seen this ever in a tafseer in a transliteration in the quran. i’ve only seen this when some scholars debate christian scholars or in dawah. The parenthesis inside the verses helps at time and sometimes it throws me off. i’m actually having difficulty with this interpretation.

Not sure about the Tefsir. Although the app is better than most , for me the Tafsir seems to have a contemporary goals which sets out to discredit as many miracles as it can. Among others, In particular I am not convinced the claim that jinns including Iblis are actually human beings too . My opinion , Just take it with a grain of salt. Allah knows best

Keeps crashing. I can’t use the app or listen to Quran for more than 3 seconds without the app crashing. It crashes each and every time I open it. I’ve been using this app for years and now I have to delete it and find a new one. The new update was completely unnecessary.

Great App!. By far my favorite app for The Holy Quran. One thing I wish was different is when I pause to take down notes or make bookmarks, I don’t want the verse to entirely start over, let me continue where I left off. Other than that, it’s perfect! (Especially for new Muslims)

Issues with iPad. Why cant I rotate the app on iPad? I can’t think of any reason why. I need to have it in wide screen so I can read the Arabic in bigger letters. I love the app in general but there are some issues with some translations like in surah jinn. Allah created jinns as much as humans anyone who can’t believe that have an issue with their faith. They were actual jinns not Jews with special abilities or knowledge

Wrong Information DO NOT DOWNLOAD. This app quotes a Hindu poem to describe Allah. It goes on to call Allah SWT “the tree, the seed, the germ… the flower, the fruit, the shade…”. This is all attributes that we as Muslims believe to not be true about Allah SWT. He is unseen and does not take such forms. Not only that but this is a Hindu poem. Why is an app that is trying to teach Muslims about Allah is using Hindu literature to describe a Muslim belief?!? Please do not download and share with families
