Rebranding FAIL. OTLOB is a pain to begin with. The ONLY edge it had over ELMENUS was some wider choice of places. But otherwise, no customer service to speak of; when your order just doesn’t show up you’re on your own; a sloppy interface; no way to save your go to places. Enter TALABAT: OTLOB, but much worse. Everytime I search for a place I order from, I get a bunch of duplicates. Suddenly many places no longer deliver. And yet, these places are sill there, menus available, add to cart, checkout, you’re only told after you try to confirm the order! Places are no longer shown closed or busy. Every time I choose a place from search it prompts me to pick my only recorded address. Honestly, it is JUST GARBAGE. I don’t understand how these glaring errors went unnoticed, especially when some of them were not in OTLOB. They look less like bugs and more like a general attitude of careless negligence. Everyone involved should feel a little ashamed of having created such a sloppy product if they have any professional pride, though it would be hard to imagine that a proud person worked on this.

Horrible customer service, lousy couriers. While the customer service representatives are polite, they do nothing at all to help, the drivers are untrained, don’t take their jobs seriously and take too long to get from the restaurant to the location provided. If the restaurant is 11 KM away, it shouldn’t take +40 minutes to get to said location without mentioning the arrival time change! Also drivers are rude, unhygienic during this uncertain COVID-19 times. There many other apps that provide a better service, just because you guys where the first around here does not mean that people will just take it. You people should either train your couriers and customer service representatives or just forget about the app and start a new business that you guys could actually manage!

they seem like done bother at all!. We had been ordering with them for every day for almost 7 weeks and honestly we had been traveling to couple of different countries and staying for couple of weeks and therefore used food delivery services in different parts of world, by far Talabat is the most expensive one which doesn’t give the flying F about customers!!!!! I think they even don’t read your complaints! They have prefix messages which either machine or someone would forward it in reply to your complaint. Those replies are uniform!!!! They are nonsense and obviously they don’t care…. As long as they charge you for their really bad service. Refund system is absolutely horrible! It’s not refunded at all you need to give them your credit card info so they refund you a fraction of what you paid and was not delivered! In a moslem county this is stealing in day light and highway rubbery… I’m very disappointed…. We have lived in UAE since 2006 and since pandemic needed to stay out of UAE for longer periods for work. Seems like customer service is nothing like what it used to be. It is very shameful… goodbye good days of halal and haram and respect in UAE!

“TRAGIC DISASTER “. It’s truly so so so sad to see one of Kuwait’s first independent food delivery company go down in history as the WORST and most TERRIBLE application / website ! It has become one of the least recommend & the most problematic and multiple complaints from many valuable customers include me & my family and friends from the time of the delivery to the wrong items to the quality of the food and drivers i had the worst experience with talabat and I don’t recommend this app don’t waste your money on this app it’s old & none of the complaints are reaching the corporate or the current owner even many restaurants already left this app go check out carriage it’s much advanced and puts their customers first then their sales and marketing unlike Talabt who adds codes and sales to hide the fact that their service is honestly THE MOST TERRIBLE !

My experience with Talabat Jo is excellent so far.. I knew about talabat for more than three years now. But I never used it until the start of this year. Mainly because I like to go out and get my food myself, and/or I used to not trust deliveries unless from selected restaurants. I have used talabat 6 times in the past 6months (4 of them are this month only), and tbh, I have no complaints. All my 6 orders were correct, fresh, hot, and fast to arrive (beside this one time when they forgot my diet Pepsi). The delivery guys were polite and dressed well. They brought me my orders fast and delicious. At the time of writing this review, I would recommend talabat Jordan to anyone. I will be keeping on ordering through talabat for the foreseeable future. 5/7 if you know what I mean.

Talabat Egypt is amazing!. After making multiple orders on Talabat, I can say that the service is absolutely amazing (in Egypt, at least). The 1-star reviews I’ve seen are mainly about bad management in other countries or technical errors that have been fixed. Talabat arrives extremely fast, I can see exactly the delivery man is, the products are always top-quality, and I’m always receiving free gifts! Many people might overlook this review thinking it’s an automatic bot review, but it’s not. I am very pleased with the service and am extremely satisfied with the quality of items and the friendliness of staff. I would 100% recommend Talabat to anyone who is in Egypt.

The worst. I used to be a regular customer in Talabat for more than 5 years. BUT UNFORTUNATELY !!!!!! It became the worst ordering food application in Kuwait. Now there is an issue with application as its lagging alot as the estimated time become from 1 hour to 1 hour thirty and above as the time passes. Moreover, I ordered from a restaurant as its shown it will reach within 30 minutes but after the order the estimated time is 90 minutes sometimes more. Also, they take the order and its not shown to me( but money is deducted) later when you just refresh they made another order and cancel the old one and guess what you will refund your money within 3 days not immediately. Another issue is its shown that you order is cancelled, so I ordered from another restaurant, but out of sudden both arrived to my home. Before they were on time and there wasn’t any issues with the application. I think 4 delayed and mis-orderes are enough to delet the application. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Customer service is terrible. Each time I’ve had a problem, a (generally not-very-cheerful) Talabat customer service rep has informed me that a “member of the team” would contact me. (I’ve received only one callback in five). The one time I was called back, I was promised ANOTHER call, and then THAT call never came. There is a clear morale problem amongst staff I’ve spoken to. Just try asking them when you can expect to get a callback. Right now Talabat is the only show in town, and they know it. Order directly from the restaurant if you can. Otherwise stick to the few restaurants associated with the app who will behave professionally - and call THEM if you have a problem with an order you’ve placed through the app. If you get a restaurant that is incapable of solving a problem, it is unlikely (at least in my experience) that Talabat can/will help you. I’ve thrown two deliveries directly in the trash because they arrived cold, or too late for me to eat. In the meantime, I suspect I’m not the only Doha resident anxiously waiting for a competitor to enter the home delivery market.

Worst Customer Service. I was able to make one perchance before they randomly blocked my account. They didn't tell me why, didn't tell if I had a case number. It took me a day of talking to my bank and then visa directly to figure out it was Talabat preventing my purchase from going through and that my account was blocked. There was no one to talk to, the live chat was real people, but they just wanted to get you off the chat as soon as possible. They say there’s a survey at the end of the chat, but it never loaded. For some reason they couldn't call my cellphone. It would take them 24 hours (or more) to get an email back to. When I did get an email back, it was apologies and very little (or no) information. I it has been over a week of being band, I’ve “live chated” with about 50 different workers and all I know is I’m band for suspicious activity, a case number, and they are are sorry. I just found out what I was banned for and again, it has been over a week for begging for some information on what’s happening.

Great app and customer service, bad prices depending on the restaurant.. I’ve been using the app ever since it’s been introduced to oman, and have been ordering food all the time from different restaurants and most of the time the delivery times are great but sometimes they can take their time, and over all these years the thing I hate about the app is the price inflations that restaurants abuse for example McDonald’s has meals way cheaper at their restaurant but on talabat it’s more expensive + you sometimes have to pay for delivery about 500 baisa and even more because of taxes basically coming out to 3 riyals or more when you can get the meal for 2 ryal at their restaurant... But overall I love the app it has made ordering food really easy and reliable in oman!

Review for Talabat Egypt. I made an order using the exact same address I used to use with the previous app that existed before Talabat purchased it. I waited 40 minutes before calling the actual restaurant to find out that they never received my order. So I just told the restaurant my order and told them to cancel any order coming from Talabat in my name. Finally I receive a call from a Talabat representative telling me that my order was cancelled due to an incomplete address. My address had the city, district, compound name, steet name, villa number, and owners name. So when I asked the representative what was missing, he told me that I didn’t specify whether I lived in a villa or a building (an irrelevant piece of information as the restaurants delivery man knows the compound has no buildings), clearly the representative was just making up an excuse. This was my first order with Talabat and my last. I received my order from the restaurant 20 mins after I placed it, clearly Talabat’s system doesn’t work and just overcomplicates / slows things down.

This is the single most worst delivery app I’ve used in my 15 years of living. Talabat says there main priority is our order but what it really is is our money they will take money from your card and then Kurt forget about your order I’ve used it twice and both times I didn’t get my order and I ended up using another delivery app, after the 2 hours of waiting for my incredibly stupid driver I decided to contact the help center which came of rude and unsupportive I tried cooperating but in the end I asked for a refund and to cancel my order and they didn’t reply whatsoever 1 hour later I get a call by the driver saying he’s outside my door and at this point I’m fed up I open my door to see no one and I contact him telling him he’s at the wrong door and then he blocked me, I never got my order or my refund. Do not use this trash app use anything other than it

Talabat Dubai. I order from them every single day. Extremely reliable for food and especially grocery orders. Lots of options and I often find them much cheaper than other online stores /local corner stores. If there are any issues I get a text or call and they issue credits to your account. Also there is a reward system and I have been able to get 15 aed off my grocery order several times. Wish there were more discounts on regular restaurant orders.

Horrible Service. It wasn’t the first time I have a problem but it will definitely be my last (app deleted). My order was late. I used the “Live Chat” and explained that according to the app it says my food has already reached but it’s really 1/2 hour late. The reply: “the driver must be nearby and marked it as delivered. Please wait 15 minutes.” I replied that 15 minutes is not nearby but I will wait. 30 minutes later I contact the live chat again. I am placed on hold and finally I’m told he needs 15 minutes. On top of being an hour late already! Needless to say he did not come in 15 minutes. I tried calling I tried the live chat again! Maybe I cannot blame Talabat for the restaurants short comings but their service to help you track the order is miserable 😩. Uber Eats gives me the drivers number and I can track his car as soon as he leaves the restaurant. Never again Talabat. Horrible app horrible service!

No customer service. I placed an order today that I should have gotten in 30 minutes (according to talabat’s own calculated time) but it took two hours. The time kept on changing and they were adding minutes (between 10-20) every now and then. The restaurant said Talabat’s driver took over an hour and a half to get to them. The driver said he was an hour and a half away and talabat doesn’t usually take that into consideration. I tried to communicate with Talabat’s customer service representatives but they apparently have canceled all direct phone lines and the voice message I get is that I need to use the live chat inside the app. The problem is there is no live chat inside the app in Jordan. This was not the first time that an order took too long, but it was the longest. I do not recommend Talabat in Jordan at all. Many other more reliable apps out there.

Okay app, need better UI and quality of life.. Biggest problems with app had to do with an overly complicated UI and slimy business practice. No search bar on most tabs makes checking for certain things harder. One example would be the “pickup” tab, why does it sort from closest businesses to farthest but have gaps in between with random stores that are FARTHER, is it a app bug or ad placements?? There are many other quality of life issues that should be assessed and tested. Also it’s really annoying and kinda slimy that when refunds are given, it is converted to store credit and NOT refunded to original card payment… like why? Due to this you need the exact amount on your next order or they FORCE you to use “Benefit”, a third party site that sets up a payment option with your credit card. Why do I have to use this sketchy company to use my store credit (talabat wallet)? I can rant on about quality of life updates, like location sharing on talabat not an option for some reason on the app, and so on.

The worst food delivery service EVER. Resturant has nothing to be afraid of when you order through Talabat, they know that if the order is 2 hours late, Talabat will keep dealing with them because Talabat only cares about profit, and customers comes last. RESTAURANTS DOSE NOT RESPECT TALABAT And if it’s not your day, you will contact the customer service, they will ruin the rest of your day and you will lose your appetite, and guess what?? THEY WILL DO NOTHING, just some sentences they copy and paste to you saying that they will contact the Resturant, but at the end your order will reach late, cold and tasteless. The problem is not from the restaurants, the problem is with the ordering system

Strike 3. I understand theres a lockdown and riders are hard to come by, but your app could make things easier for the customers. Simply saying little riders near by is not enough, literally close off the area unless you find someone. A rider picked up my items but “had” to be home before lockdown even though he had well enough time to drop off the items and be home before then. And instead of him canceling the order or reaching out, he reached out to talabat themselves. Talabat should've canceled the order then (if what he is saying is true) or asked him to reach out to me. An hour goes by before i finally get irritated and try calling him multiple times and then he says he cant deliver and theres another driver out. There is no other driver. Unfortunately this isnt the first time something like this has happened, and i can only excuse this so many times because of the pandemic and lockdown rulings. Getting Talabat credit is a fine business move but honestly its pushing me away from the app. The app needs to update itself for the riders specific to every country. If it is an expat driver, they shouldn't be able to take order within 45mins of lockdown.

Talabat GO Drivers. Their driving service is the worst. You get phone calls about your location and address. And if you don’t answer they will cancel your order. But their drivers call even when they are standing outside the door. They won’t ring the doorbell only call- not even knock. I get 5 phone calls from the talabat drivers every time they have to deliver and then I always miss a call and never get my food. By far the worst delivery service in the area. A talabat go driver called me this last time to ask me to send my address through WhatsApp. I did that. An hour after that he called twice which I missed and then they cancelled my order. But I confirmed with him the building number and flat number when he called. Order should have never been cancelled. Talabat GO is the worst. If you have to use the app try using restaurants who don’t use talabat go.

Dishonest application. This application does not allow you to delete a saved card. I have been trying for the past 2 weeks to delete my saved cards on the application and there is no option. I have chatted now with 4 representatives and written 2 emails with absolutely no resolution. I was told to update the app then delete the app and redownload it and neither of these options work. I was told by all 4 reps that there is a saved cards option and after getting so frustrated I decided to check with my sister and my daughter to see if their app had the saved cards option…..lo and behold there is ALSO no saved cards option on either of their apps either! Telling the rep this, he insists that it’s SO simple and of course the option exists yet he’s unable to advise of a solution and just keeps apologizing! This is WRONG and MISLEADING and it takes away from consumers rights to no longer save their card details! I will also be filing a complaint with the consumer rights department as this is frustrating and completely unacceptable!

Worst delivery company in jordan. The company has the most impolite and dirty employees I ever seen in jordan, the riders talk to you like you work for them, they mess your orders without a single apology, wear no mask or have it dangling on their chins, and they don’t carry change with them so that you have to bump up your tip. And the company doesn’t do anything about it because they already pay them low salaries, when you talk to the company they just send copy pasted “we’re sorry for the inconvenience” messages. I’m not the only one that had troubles with talabat, nearly 2 of every 5 friends I know deleted their app after a couple of experiences. If you value yourself, I highly recommend you to avoid this “service”. Edit: oh great, I got the copy pasted “sorry, but not going to do anything about it” response from the company Keep your apology to yourself, this is the second and last time I uninstalled this terrible app, I already gave you two chances

Love Talabat but Had a VERY Bad Experience. Am a client of talabat, I order frequently although I never created an account. I ordered from talabat go were they mentioned they will deliver within 20 to 30 minute and I have a one hour break so I ordered because of their promise timing. But unfortunately the food took an hour and fifteen minutes on top of the half an hour which was not convenient at all, I didnt eat, I couldn’t extend my break, the food came cold, and my drink was missing ONE OF ThE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. As I called talabat call center, the agent apologized and said next time open an accout so if this is repeated we will compensate you (WHAT NEXT TIME) so shes like except my apology and what can I Do more, i told her please follow up and until now she didnt contact me, I sent through Talabat live chat finally they said you did t reply so sorry to close the chat although they said please wait and I replied I will and they close the chat, I sent a chat again because nothing is done and I havent receive my drink although I have paid via KNET. What do you think of my experience with talabat customers service and follow up, what compensation you think I deserve

This app is so BAD!!!. This app is not secured just deal with them by cash on delivery because me ,friend and family faced lot of issues for example cutting money from credit card but you did not place any order for it just randomly and ordering by cash yhe food comes hot and fresh to eat. one day in ramadan we ordered and after 4 hours they arrived but the funny thing it was already fasting time so at the end this is the reality of talabat (don't let them play on you). when you try to call this is more interesting to talk with some one that have for every problem a special story and after ending the story you well find your self that he just gave you pain killer talk to stop the conversation 🤣thank you talabat 🇪🇬

One of the worst app experiences I have ever encountered. - I made my first order - The app created *two* identical orders - The restaurant called me to inform me of the two identical orders, which I explained was an error and they should only send one - I chatted with Talabat service agent to cancel one of the two orders - 30 mins later Talabat cancelled one of the two orders - 20 mins later the restaurant finished preparing my food and put it with the driver - The driver was 2 minutes away, with our food, when Talabat mistakenly cancelled the *second* order. The food was never delivered. - I then chatted with the Talabat service agent to get a full refund. He claimed they are incapable of processing refunds without a customer going through a variety of steps. - I then went through those steps to process one refund, but for the second refund there was no option to send to my credit card. - Back with a Talabat service agent, who agreed that there is an “app issue” and that it would take a “specialized team” 24 hours to fix the issue so I can process the refund. In the meantime, I had 4 starving kids and eventually made a third order through Deliveroo, which I’m praying actually gets delivered. Never using Talabat again. What incompetence.

Worst app ever, don’t believe the social media influencers advertising this lol. This APP is a joke! No proper customer support, all of the estimated delivery times are basically lies. I’ve never ordered through this app without having an issue with late delivery and many times NO delivery at all!! As they will eventually cancel your order on you. I’ve tried this app now in 3 different countries, same issues! Customer service chat is useless and they don’t actually help you! They tell you to wait 10 mins and get back to them and they still won’t have any answers regarding where your order is or how they can compensate you. I’ve actually been told on chat to “just cancel it” after a full 1.5 hrs of waiting! This app is super unreliable wouldn’t recommend you waste your time, patience or phone memory on it. Big Fail.

they keep stealing my credit card payments. So if you use this talabat app to buy groceries from their own talabatmart store (or any other store or restaurant) and they don't have some of the items you ordered, instead of refunding the missing items, they give you expiring talabat credit for it instead. They used to have a well hidden button where you can resend that credit back to your credit card but now they even removed that. I contacted their support and they lied to me twice. First they said to use the button which no longer exists and then they claimed they will request sending the refund to credit card and that their refund department will respond to my request in 30 minutes, of course they never responded at all. No reputable online business or app forces customers to spend refunds for payment on services they did not render to spend that money in their store. It is their fault the item wasn't in stock, they could easily charge only for the in stock items, or refund back the amount charged for out of stock items to credit card instead they are greedy and disreputable especially since they removed the option from the app all together and their support lie to people and do not respond to credit card refund requests.

Thee ABSOLUTE WORSE!!!. I am a very displeased customer right. It seems to me that every single time I place an order on talabat something goes awfully wrong. The food is either cold because it delivered late thanks to the driver going to the wrong location, something is missing from the order, or the other just all together never shows up. Usually, I don't say a word, because it's far too late and I'm way too tired to try to figure out who to contact about an issue but today is my breaking point. Not only did my order show up late, but it had no napkins and no eating utensils AND MORE HAIR THAN CHICKEN. That is my far the nastiest, most unsanitary, things I've seen around food since I've been in Kuwait. I would like a full refund for this terrible mistake. Taco Eataco should be ashamed of themselves. If I didn't have to at least leave a 1 star rating this review would've gotten 0 stars.

Would give 0 stars if I can. I have been a loyal talabat customer for over 6 months. Ordering almost everyday for different things . My most recent order, it turned out that there was an item missing. I wait to get home from work, and reported this mistake of a missing item. I was in contact with the store I purchased from and they confirmed this and apologized respectfully. The talabat customer service representative however, tells me that since I waited 3 hours after the delivery to do a missing item complaint, I cannot receive my money back. To simplify it, they pretty much stole my money and told me it’s my fault I didn’t complain sooner. I’ve spent probably +10,000EGP on this application, and they just lost a loyal customer over 49EGP.

Horrible customer service. Avoid using talabat , due to zero customer service support. My credit card was charged wrongly by talabat for 12 times for total of over 3000 AED. There is no way to contact and speak directly with a customer service representative. Only way to communicate with them is through horrible chat service which is basically an automated computer. They give standard computer generated replies and tell you they find not issues with any wrong charges. When you ask for someone to call you they claim you will get a call in 5-10 minutes and never actually call you. I plan to report them to the consumer rights and local police for theft. As well file a claim at the bank. I will never use talabat again due to this horrible customer service and I plan to share my experience and ensure others avoid them as well.

نصابين واعلانات كاذبة. فاوتشرات دعوة صديق لا تعمل دعوت صديق ولم يستطع استعمال الكوبون وبقي يظهر له خطأ بالرغم انه استطاع الطلب بمجرد حذفه للكوبون، وايضاً ذكرتم ان بعد طلبه الاول سيصبح لدي فاوتشر لكن ذلك لم يحصل ولا يوجد وسيلة للتواصل ولا دعم ولا خدمة عملاء ——- طريقة التسويق هذه في منتهى الدناءة ولا ترقى بشركة كبيرة وتعتمد على الخداع والاستدراج سنتوقف في العمل عن استخدام طلبات وسأشجع علو استخدام خدمات منافسيكم كـ Careem وغيرهم "The invitation vouchers don't work; inviting a friend didn't function, and he couldn't use the coupon. An error kept appearing even after deleting the coupon. Additionally, you mentioned that after the first order, I would have a voucher, but that didn't happen. There's no way to contact support or customer service. This marketing approach is extremely unethical and doesn't befit a large company. It relies on deception and enticement. We'll stop using Talabat and encourage others to use your competitors like Careem and others."

Worst customer service ever. We are in Ramadan and I ordered the first order about 2 hours before Iftar. They cancelled it after 10 minutes and told me that there were no drivers and that the restaurant is using his own drivers, then I placed another order, they canceled the second one after 35 minutes too, I contacted the customer service on the chat was impolite and I asked him many times to let a manager or someone to talk to me. He told me someone will call within 60 minutes and by that time I would have passed the Fotor time. 2 hours passed since he told me that and no one called so I sent them back and again they told me someone will contact me within 60 minutes and 4 hours passed and no one did. Bottom line I think the people behind this App. will take you lightly even if you are a valuable customer and you use their App always. This would be my last time using this App. There are many alternatives that would really take care of their customers.

Unacceptable Customer Service. My coffee order was delivered to the wrong address and my request to cancel the order was ignored. I knew my order was very late and would be cold. Yet the driver went back to the wrong address, recollected my order, and dumped it at my front gate. I find that unacceptable as who knows who handled my food at the wrong address. Then Talabat refused to refund my money because according to them, I “accepted” the order when it was dumped at my front gate. They offered me a ridiculous dhs 15 compensation. Even after talking to the customer service who admitted it was the driver error, I still didn’t get a refund. The Talabat customer service follow up needs major improvement as the rep kept trying to blame me for “accepting” the order. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Customer service is prioritized for subscribers not customers.. The new ONLINE CHAT system is very upsetting. I can’t get a hold of an agent if I have an issue with the order. It just gives me a “text answer” which is not relevant nor helpful at all. But if I want to ask about a subscription for deliveries, then it immediately connects me to an agent. This shows where your priorities are as a company. This is what happens when a company becomes to greedy. Deliveroo would never do that. It also will refund the money straight to my account rather than only refund it to the “talabat app” which forces me to download it and then I have to manually refund it to my bank. Intentionally making it difficult to customers to get their money back by adding those extra hurdles. This company has become too big and bloated that it got all its priorities messed up, far disconnected from reality. Customers care is the last thing on their to do list. You should spend your money on your customer care development rather than those tacky Cristiano Ronaldo commercials. Its just really sad.

Wooorsst applicationn!!!!. They are the worst application for food delivery!!!!! Yesterday i have ordered popcorn for the cinema next to my house!!!!! The order was paid by my credit card and the estimated time was 27 minutes, after 1.5 hour the order was never delivered and the estimated time was the same until the resturant was closed !!!!! I talk to talabat customer service and the agent lies and says the order was picked up!!!!! I called the resturant myself they said no one came!!!!! Talabat sent my order after 20 minutes for the resturant and it was never approved or picked up or delivered !!!!! The agent says we have one driver who picked your food and we cant track the driver so we will send a new order and a new driver will pick it up? Serioussslyyy??? Talabat need to fix their horrible service and their horrible way of talking to the customer!!!!! If you cannot provide a service as promised you should close your application!!!! I deleted the application and i wont order from theeem again!!!!! I highly advice not to deal with them as they are just playing around and wasting the time of the customer!!!!

Talabat iraq , erbil. Worst service, i ordered with a promis of the advertising from the talabat mart that it will come with in 30 mins , while my house and the storage place of talabat mart is exactly 5 minutes drive, talabat managed to come after 1 hour that means 30 mins late, and also worst tracking system and some how you cant call their customer service you have to chat once your out of the chat , from the other end they can end the chat without getting final answer from the client , im never usiing it again , i encourage people to use local apps not talabat , since if it was any where else in the world they would sue them but here nobody cares , Note : i tried to give a feedback on the application but once you give on star the app closes automatically ( i have screen record )

Unreliable. I placed an order with Lulu for grocery delivery yesterday. An hour after ordering, Lulu called to tell me that two items were unavailable. About 15 minutes later, Talabat called to tell me they were canceling my entire order. I asked the woman why, as the two items were cleaning products, and I still needed the rest of my order (eggs, olive oil, ghee, and about 9 other food products). She said since I couldn’t have a replacement for those two items, they were canceling the entire order. This was very frustrating, as I needed those food items to cook my dinner that day. It’s absolutely ridiculous to cancel an entire order because two small unrelated items were unavailable. This is not the first time something like this has happened with Talabat. I deleted the app and will no longer be using their services.

Service service service.. Has target items, good delivery and time frame, basically all the hard part- but absolutely لا customer service! Very hard to reach —too time consuming, nothing simple targeted at common problems, and w hen you spend the 30 min on a valid problem they never respond anyway. Simply send message that issue is resolved, but it NEVER is. Have received ROTTEN spoiled food and they don’t respond or replace or reimburse. Quality is worse everyday, so happens more now. The app offers savings with a time limit, but it takes 15 min on IPad and 10-12 on iPhone just to open app, so that time runs out before I can order. It’s like a bait and switch game. I hope it gets managed sometime soon, before I give up on a business I was very supportive of. A little success has made you greedy.

Covid situation. Recently with the covid situation many orders are being cancelled last minute and the chat feature is no longer available unrated you receive an email from Talbat Support promising you a reply within 24 hours which did not come. I have now two cancelled ordered that I was not refunded for and I have no way to contact Talbat, they provide a phone number that has an answering machine indicating for any problems please report through the app and once you (only through email no other option) you don’t receive a reply or any solution. I used to use the app daily now I will never use it again!

Bad service. I have been using talabat/carriage for many years with frequent orders/week (sometimes daily). I had an issue with a driver recently and my order was cancelled after I had received and paid for it so I contacted customer services to let them know and explained the issue but didn’t file a complaint as I didn’t want the driver to get in trouble for the misunderstanding that had occurred. For the next few days I was unable to order anything else on both talabat or carriage, I contacted 2 agents in the customers services to finally find out that my account has been blocked for “violating terms and condition of use” I wrote them an email with the address provided by one of the agents and the response was along the lines of “sorry for the inconvenience we hope we don’t lose you as a customer but your account will not be unblocked” no explanation or any information about the issue. Thankfully there are many other good food delievery services that doesn’t cost as much either. Make sure that you don’t have any money on the app too as they “can’t help you and are sorry for the inconvenience” if you get blocked.

Careless. Talabat is just sort of agents between customers and restaurants. You guys never offer support on delayed or never show orders from suppliers. The worst is that KFC always cheats and play around with the system put in place. As everyone know, KFC delivery time is 30 mins upon placing orders. What actually happens is that KFC mark the order as DELIVERED while it still in restaurant just to make sure they close the order within delivery time frame. I reported this upon my first order with KFC and today again 1 June 2020. KFC did the same and you guys “Talabat” done nothing about it. My order arrived 1:25mins after placing the order. I sent the driver back because he also was not decent enough to answer my phone calls. I’d rather drive my self to other restaurants better than ordering through Talabat from filthy restaurant such as KFC being managed by cheaters allowed by your platform

I have been ROBBED. Apparently if you don’t rise a complaint of a missing item in your order during the first 3 hours of receiving it you CANNOT get a refund! This is clearly theft no matter how you look at it. like if i was in a situation where I’m unable to check the items in my order during the first 3 hours of receiving it my chance to file a complaint is gone!! & if the rider is not from TALABAT app how do you know whether I received it at all???? No one from talabat calls me to check if the order arrived! ….& if its possible for me to rise a complaint ONLY during the first 3 hours, then why is the complaint feature for missing items STILL there after the first 3 hours??? Whats the point of it?? ———————— This policy of raising a complaint only within the first 3 hours of receiving the order is MANDATORY & customers should at least be informed/notified of it EVERY TIME THEY CHECK OUT why do i only see notifications of subscription AD when I’m not the least bit interested in it??? So many things don’t make any sense

Talabat you are the worst!. Talabat drivers always go to other houses similar to my villa number but in different streets and keep insisting that they are outside even when I ask them to ring the bell and they end up ringing the wrong bell! They never learn from their mistakes Even after three years with such low service level they behave the same way and I will always have to send them my location again in whats app although it is provided in the app where I placed the order. All they care about is to deliver to other poeple my orders since money is paid using online visa all they want is to check the box not caring if the order was delivered to the right person or not!!! Can’t believe that such service level exists and still running in Abu Dhabi where services are always improved constantly however this is their third year with the same attitude I wonder how they are surviving in this market with the so much competition. I used them just a few times and always was shocked with the same attitude. Are Talabat drivers trained to switch off their minds and just look for villa number not considering the street it is in!!!

Extremely slow and stupid system. The app used to be good with fast deliveries. However, the the past year they’ve declined significantly. Every single time i order, my order gets stuck in the “order placed” status instead of moving to the “preparing” status. And it’s always the same excuse when i contact them, which is that they’re still looking for a driver. The dumbest part is, they don’t send the order to the restaurant until they find a free driver. This is stupid!!! It slows everything down!!! It toes forever until they find a driver and then i have to wait for the restaurant to prepare the food only because they didn’t send the order as soon as it was placed! The ideal system would’ve been to send the order immediately to the restaurant and by the time they find a driver, the restaurant would’ve made progress in preparing the food. And when I contacted them about this suggestion, they completely refused it and claimed that it’s to prevent loses with the restaurants. That makes zero sense!!! The driver would’ve eventually been assigned anyway, so there won’t be any loses! Not to mention the constant forced ads on the app that are plain annoying.

Talabat pro is not working. I have been using Talabat for long time ago And recently I did not face any serious issue as the food is received on time usually there are sometimes that the order delivered is not correct but the customer complain responds quick and make the refund/replace order as you request anyway my big concern is according the Talabat pro like the advertising is everywhere even on the app description the first thing to appear that now talabat has talabat pro but when I used the application I cannot find it anywhere Like may I know where I can get that help I tried to contact customer complain but it seems it is only available for food ordering So The only way I found it available for contact is via app review So in my opinion to improve the app you must improve the customer complain and make it for any technical issue not when I am receiving wrong order or want to cancel or edit Hopefully that thing is getting fixed if these stuff been fixed the 5* is well deserved for the application

Tracking Linked to App that Ordered. Hi Talabat. For all my years of using your app, the tracking notifications were sent to the app the user used to order the food. Now, when I place an order, tracking updates and notifications when the driver is close by are sent to the contact phone number’s application. This is very confusing, especially if the user that has placed the order does not receive tracking updates, the app favoring the registered phone number’s user. This is confounded logic, as a user may only want another person to speak to the delivery person, but still wants tracking information so s/he may receive the order. Please correct this as soon as possible, for quality of life issues with your service.

Keep Blocking My Accounts.. Okay, I used this app almost everyday to make grocery and food orders for more than a year. Yes they were good and I’ll give them credit for those days. Not until I bought one Sebemed baby lotion 400ML from a store along with other items in that order. The order arrived and I noticed that the lotion’s pump was broken. Okay as usual I’ll contact talabat and they will refund or exchange the damaged item. This time they decided not to do neither and instead they blocked my account and with all the funds I have in my talabat pay. Reason, I violated terms and conditions of use. How did I violate that by reporting a damaged item in my order? I emailed their support team they boldly told me that my account won’t be unblocked because it’s blocked permanently. That’s how I got stuck with a damaged baby lotion without a pump to use it. Okay, I moved on from that and opened another account. After my first order, a damaged item was delivered again, I complained and this time I got a refund but my account was blocked alongside the refund. So obviously I can’t use the refund and I’m stuck with damaged item again. The app keeps blocking my accounts with funds and vouchers in it. I’m out of patience and it’s time to move on. There’re a lot of delivery apps to use in the UAE.

Ok app, terrible costumer service. If there was an award for the worst customer service experience, talabat would get it- with no close competition ... Orders take more than the expected time, technical issues arise from time to time, refunds are ignored, if you manage to talk to a technical representative though the chat using the web interface (bc the app interface chat doesn't work) they will close the chat as soon as you tell them your issue, they have the same reply to all issues and they close the chat after they throw that reply onto your face.. It's as is the representatives are competing against themselves to which one of them will give the worst experience.. Hope other businesses enter the market because those guys are terrible..

No help once so ever and not working accounts. Talabat is amazing it works fine and has many stores and shops available but the account I own isn’t working and the help center isn’t doing anything nor helping I quit trying to get my account back so I decided to delete talabat forever and I don’t plane on downloading talabat ever again my honest review would be 0 stars or 1 but I will rate 2 stars because of how talabat is working and is great if you have an acc that is working but trust me it isn’t worth a hype going to get ur own order is so much better to be honest and I will never change my mind talabat isn’t working at this point and many accounts and not working now and soon more will too I did nothing yet it say “you can not order for the terms of use” and I barely did anything talabat is such a scam go get your orders instead of ordering from talabat its not worth it i swear

Worst Application Ever, Even uglier customer service. I registered with Talabat, and while placing my first order and trying to check out, my account got blocked. I went back and forth with their technical support for two days straight to find out why my account got blocked, and all what they say is I violated the terms and conditions, but no one is able to tell what terms and conditions that were violated. They just refer you to the site terms and conditions. I did not even place a single order yet, so what terms and conditions were violated without even placing an order. I did hear a lot about horror stories with Talabat, they are famous with blocking accounts without any explanation, talk about customer service!!! On the bright side, I’m glad to find out how terrible this company is before I place any orders with them. Imagine if I had to complain about a product or a service, they would probably sue me LOL RIP Talabat

Unprofessional, unintuitive, useless app. Use any other alternative. I ordered food from a restaurant, I have to eat medication and so I have to eat food at crazy hours. I picked a restaurant “spezia” at 12:00 am I ordered my food and sat to wait to get a call that the food is here. Instead I got a call 30 mins with a rep calling me and telling me the vendor was closed so they had to cancel my order….. when I tried to express my frustration he simply replied… “thank you for using talabat” and hung up the phone. That is shameful, if the vendor was closed or closing, the app shouldn’t have let me order in the first place let alone waste 40 mins at 12 am. This is the last I’ll be ordering from this application….. the quality standards have dropped drastically.

I have tried to order food from restaurants near my apartment and the only answer I get from the app is that the restaurant cannot deliver to your location, knowing that I have entered the right address and the restaurants are 5 mins away from my place. Horrible, incompetent and inefficient. Talabat is the worst food delivery app. They mess up orders, they mess up refunds, they cost cut in their customer service by cutting customer care lines and replacing it with live chat. If a customer manager calls, he does so on a phone line with is barely understandable because they have cost cut in the quality of their phone lines as well. The customer has to follow up regarding their refund otherwise they will never refund you. If you follow up, they tell you to call the bank and waste more time. I had to call 3-4 times for them to parrot a canned answer. In the end, I just gave up on my refund. Absolutely horrible. There is a reason why everyone uses Zomato.

Poor delivery, poor customer service. Talabat go delivery is really poor. Talabat customer service is also very poor. I don’t recall receiving order on time with Talabat go and all Talabat customer service did was to tell sorry for 1000 times but no action to improve the delivery. I cancelled multiple orders because I was so dissatisfied at times. I asked how I could complain couple of times and their team told they raised the issue and a team member would contact me. And guess what happened; no one called so far.

Talabat Mart. Can order and pay from all other stores & restaurants fine. But talabat mart checkout fails to work 80% of the time and fails to check out. Super annoying all I want to do a small grocery shop

Worst service ever!!!. I still can’t believe that I had to wait over an hour and a half and when I asked the driver he was super rude he didn’t tell me That he didn't want me to pick the order up from the beginning he put me on hold!!!!!!! He didn’t answer me. After a while, he texted me that he lived in Deira and my order was far away, and then he cancelled my order. What kind of a mess is that!!!!!

Talabat is a big SCAM. Orders are not received and after complaints they send you inactive and invalid voucher that you cannot use . If you are lucky , you get your orders but with missing items . It’s a waste of time and money .

Fraud. The app is nothing but a fraud to take people money away from them and there are no call centres or anyone you could get hold of when things go wrong. I have lost €70 on food ordering and there was nothing I could do to get my money back.

No tracking whatsoever. Received the order two hours late after I spent those two hrs tracking my order and making phone lots of phone calls. No one from the app noticed that my order was in limbo. You don’t fix these issues you will surely lose your business.

Garbage customer service. Customer service doesn’t explain nothing when it comes to late order, my last late order was a result of a system glitch that didn’t send my order for an hour and a half. They didn’t tell me this, the restaurant told me when the order was received and the time was shown on the receipt when it finally arrived. This app constantly has issues and problems with subpar unhelpful customer service.

No support or Help. OTP Verification Failed twice because of a broken link but they still took the payment twice. No order history so I couldn’t contact support in a proper way. The phone number they have is out of service and when I try to contact them with the app it fails to open a page on the app.

Not user friendly. Needs: -A way to leave the driver delivery instructions -Make it possible to tip the driver after delivery - A direct way to reach help chat (I always have to do it through “previous orders complaint” 🤦🏻‍♂️)

Not helpful and didnt give accurate info. The customer service is the worst. They give false info and it’s not the first time. It’s always the cst fault/ they didnt refund me and they promised they well and i sent pictures of all the damaged order I received and they answered with okay we will refund you don’t worry and thry didn’t so I deleted the app will never use it again.

Great app!. I’ve been very pleased by Talabat for the month I’ve had it, it’s very easy to use and very simple and accessible UI, all orders (especially ones delivered by Talabat) come in great condition and talabat drivers are very friendly. My only problem is that the app sometimes crashes when I’m using it on a IPhone 8 Plus. Besides that. Talabat is a Great App !

App is a scam. We spent a couple weeks in Saudi Arabia. We tried using the app to order food. Unfortunately, the orders kept getting canceled by the app. Each time this happened the app would give a credit in the app instead of refunding our card. This happened multiple times. We are now back in our home country and the app is not used here. The customer service will not send the credit back to our card and the money is wasted.

Dont order from Talabat, they will not solve any issues. I ordered from KFC through talabat, i ordered 4 sandwiches and 1L diet pepsi. One of the sandwiches i recieved was half full or almost empty i dont know if it was the driver or the store and i ordered a pepsi diet but received a normal one. I contacted Talabat and they said “oh no this should never happen we are sorry we contacted KFC” and they will call you, 1 hour passed and no one called me, then i contacted them again and they said “we’re very sorry we just contacted them again and they will call you but we cant do anything” This was 2 days ago and untill this day no one has called me and I had to throw half of the empty sandwich and the wrong drink is still here as I cant have sugar. IF U ORDER DIRECTLY FROM KFC OR ANY STORE U CAN JUST CALL KFC AND THEY WILL FIX THE PROBLEM FOR YOU EASILY BUT IF YOU ORDER THROUGH TALABAT THEY CANT FIX ANY PROBLEMS FOR YOU so im probably never using a third party app when i can just order directly from the store

I’m in Canada but i've been using talabat for years. i ordered a lot of food and grocery for my family in dubai through this app and now its giving me a hard time. please fix your app. i still have credits, points and coupons in my account.

Order did not deliver. I order in this app but they did not deliver my order.

This app is a trap. You put your card in , you can’t remove your card from your account and you can’t delete your account, also help is real bad .

Update: Evidence of payment. Upgraded from 1 to 3 stars. I have been using this app more after not using it for a couple years because the competitors got worse! I am in Egypt, and have used it in UAE as well. One improvement that should be made is to have “Paid online with card” clearly stated on the status screen. I have had more than one driver question me about payment. The amount charged doesn’t always equal the receipt in the driver’s hands (discounts, tip, service charges) so my bank SMS isn’t good evidence.

Enable option to place order from all over world. Why are you restricting yourself to ensure user in UAE to place order? In this digital era we should be able to order from any part of the world . Please enable this option

Liar upper management and careless staff!!!. I received the wrong order, I contacted the chat and they told me a manager will give you a call. The manager called, she said that we can't give u a refund because your the complaint is after 6 hours from the order. I replied by asking if she's okay with loosing a customer, she said ok and that this call is recorded. So tbh I don't have what to say about this application. I checked their refund policy and nothing about 6 hours mentioned in written.

Worst order app I have ever experienced. I’m a matter of two months I have had my orders: 1. Lost in their system and finally canceled after 2hrs. During that time I was speaking with both the restaurant and THREE Talabat operator and each side was blaming the other for the mixup. 2. Have had my order canceled/rejected TWICE from the same restaurant 40min after ordering it and then the restaurant closes leaving me with no food and no answers as to why. One of these incidents happened during Ramadan - which I found it extra awesome. 3. An order get delayed 30min only to have the TALABAT operator call to inform me that they spoke with the restaurant and that the order would be delayed an additional 45min. I called the restaurant in question and they informed me that Talabat had informed them that their drivers were out and would be delayed. Thanks for the straight up lie and avoiding taking responsibility. In all the instances, no believable apology or compensation was offered. All the operators were friendly enough, though badly trained and not equipped with the tools to help customers in distress. After speaking with one operator after an incident and him offering to compensate. He had to speak to his shift manager three times before offering me 25AED credit for the third inconvenience. In a market with more then 6 different food order apps, don’t waste your time with this one. No credibility, responsibility and accountability. Shameful

Pathetic. Talabat’s customer service is poor. It hides customer reviews of restaurants to show high ratings. More and better options available. Absolutely pathetic and shameful.

Really good app, only had one issue so far. The restaurant came thirty minutes late one time, but that wasn’t their fault since all they can do is just call the restaurant. Reminder, they can’t control the delivery time, their job is to only call the restaurant and take the order you sent them through this app. If the restaurant is late, then you contact Talabat through live chat and they’ll contact the restaurant for you.

The worst app ever. The worst delivery app ever , blocked my account, blocked my phone number with it so when I created a new account and used my phone number it wouldn’t order anything saying “there was an error” It wouldn’t confirm phone numbers online through whatsapp , no customer support to help and there isn’t anyway to reach them , not through “help” not through “report a problem” nothing , and the only time I succeeded and could talk to them no help was given to me and all what they said is “we’ll report this problem to the relevant department “ and disappeared , So disappointing seriously.

The worst app for food ordering. The app keeps on delaying the time on its own without communicating with the restaurants nor the client, and the only ones who get to pick up the phone and answer the clients is the driver who has no clue about the order . the company is not answering the clients over phones at all, the only option you have to communicate with them is through chat bot and that is badly managed as well that you’ll end up hanging better than losing your temper. Totally advise against it, just order from favorite restaurant directly without talabat app or switch to another app that still needs to build reputation based on the service they provide.

Talabat Review. As an individual that have 13+ hour days. I don’t have the time to cook or prepare meals. Talabat is SUPER easy and efficient to order my food on to the good or AFTER an extremely long day. I have been using Talabat for 6 months+ and NEVER had a bad experience. I’d highly recommend the app to busy folks with no time to cook: students, parents, teachers, and etc.. It won’t disappoint. Thank me later!

Can’t track drivers and inaccurate promotional info!. You used to be able to live chat with a customer support agent and they have now taken away that feature. No number to call either. If you have an issue with your order you have no choice but to send an email. I placed an order for a burger, waited an hour, the app showed it as delivered but I never received it. Sent them an email and someone called me back, said that there was no way for them to trace the driver since once an order has been marked as delivered the drivers details get erased. How ridiculous is that...a last mile delivery company cannot trace its drivers! So every time they send a delivery and mark it as delivered even if the customer hasn’t received it, that’s that. No finding out what happened to it. Last but not least they mentioned a promotion for Dubai First credit cards showing 50% off. Ordered based on that, never got the 50% off , contacted customer support and was told that it was supposed to be for Abu Dhabi First cards and not Dubai First (even though the ad on the app clearly shows a Dubai First Card on it with a similar title)!

If you wanna waste your time use it. I ordered meat kebab but i got it 01:15 hr later. Which is unacceptable. But what was too unacceptable that i contacted their customer support. They said the driver took 2 deliveries at a time. When he finishes of his first then its yours . 2 meal at a time!? Are you serious?!. Then i got my order it was looks like frozen everything was too cold. Couldn’t eat that. Never recommend this app to anyone. Cause in any kind of situation that happens they won’t feel any responsibility for your waste of time . They don’t respect your waiting. Even didn’t apologize that its their problem. If i have 1:15 hr ill better go there by myself. 👎👎👎👎

Horrible!. I have been using Talabat for a long time, today will be my last day using it! I am deleting this app, how can you guys not specify details in the restaurants that you have?! I ordered food and there was no detail on it if it was spicy so naturally i would assume its NOT spicy, and when i get my food i realize that everything is extremely spicy, which i am allergic to spicy food!! And now i am having an allergic reaction and there is no one to be in contact with, this is horrible 0 customer service, bad quality service, this is unacceptable at all! Most inaccurate tracking system known to man. The app is great for UAE but for some reason the tracking system is god awful. 90 percent of my orders say “successful delivery” waaaaay ahead of the actual delivery. In fact, I typically receive my order 30 minutes to 2 hours later after I get the “successful delivery” message on the app..........this is UNACCEPTABLE! Especially when I try to patiently wait for each order. This has been happening for most of my orders. Either most of these delivery drivers/restaurants need to re-learn how time works or the app is glitchy when it tracks orders. I would like to think that this has more to with the latter than the former. This app has a ways to go. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Talabat Iraq/ Duhok. The app works great and orders are delivered within time however there are a couple of things that need to be checked out. For example, my bad reviews for resturants keep getting deleted, I dont understand the point of having the option to rate an order if you are just going to delete it if it’s not praising the resturant, this makes me question the credibility of the app, if you keep deleting bad reviews how are we as customers expected to trust your brand?! Second thing is sometimes the drivers will be delivering multiple orders together, which results in delays in delivery and the foods becomes cold.

Worst service and app ever!. I use talabat before being talabat, exactly since 2009! Today i was ordering a food as usual, i replaced my credit card recently so i added the new one and confirmed the order, After the order confirmed and deducted the money from my credit card they canceled the order immediately, I talked to CS, they told me that they have blocked my account and they don’t have reason!!! And gave me support email to contact! I contacted them on mail they responded that my account have blocked due to suspicious activity!! And advised me to create a new account with new email…. Really? What a professional response.

Terrible handling of Customer Services. Terrible customer service!!! Instead of resolving issues they keep it open as if nothing happened and go on repeating same thing. I’ve made many complaints without a single care from their staff and management. Today i complained about wrong items delivered, in less than an hour they told me they couldn’t get in touch with the shop and told me to re submit my issue again tomorrow instead of trying to contact the shop again…!!!! It’s so frustrating to deal with them! I stop using their services for a while then think maybe they improved but they don’t….!!!!

The worst system in Saudi. An hour after they took my money The tracking suddenly said that I have to call the restaurant because the order was placed with them directly This was never mentioned when I made the order There was no number listed for the restaurant- I had to go google it - and of coarse they don’t pick up The driver called me 1 hour after the order - asking me for the location , & that he will decide wether to cancel the order based on the order - if more than 20 km - it’s cancelled When I sent him the location , he said that’s it’s 19 km and he still wants to cancel it Regardless of the driver - it seems Talabat has an agreement with restaurants about distance- and they don’t honor it The “tracking” in Talabat is :FAKE - it’s just a timer They do not send locations to drivers They are not really in contact with the restaurants- only when there is a problem They bought carriage and killed it - because they knew it was 100 times better than them

Bugs and missing items. If you’re looking by products it will kick you out And freeze If you want specific product size you will find always something missing. Example: a certain brand of water has 300ml or 500 ml or 1,5 L. If you want the 1 L of this water (and it exists in the store physically and sold to people) you won’t find it on Talabat App. Unfortunately there is no way to contact anyone and very tricky to find a way to chat with an agent. Actually you have to pass through impossible labyrinth to reach someone that will end up telling you to write an email to customer support… We are really far from the era where online shopping can be personalized and easy. Especially when bugs such as freezing the app if you click on “search by product” makes your shopping experience hectic. In fact you have to browse manually through ALL products. Hope this will fasten a new update asap. Regards

Talabat Egypt = Garbage. Don’t be fooled by the change of name from Otlob to Talabat. Underneath it all is the same terrible service you’ve always been accustomed to. Otlob’s drivers went on strike due to low pay in the summer. Around that time all restaurants in the app were showing up as closed, even though you could easily make an order to them by calling directly. A lot of people fled to ElMenus and Akelni around that time and never looked back, hence the change to “Talabat.” My experience with ElMenus has been much better than with Talabat. I suggest using Talabat only as a last resort. McDonald’s hands down has the best delivery in Egypt (to my door in 15 minutes sometimes). This week I placed two orders through Talabat. Neither arrived after waiting over two hours. All I got from customer support was copy and pasted replies. Nowadays, they are telling you to call the restaurant directly if you have a problem. If I’m calling the restaurant every time I make an order why bother using the app at all? Your “tracking” is pathetic. After using Otlob/Talabat for over 10 years I’m done with you. App and browser bookmark deleted. Good riddance.

Talabat. You see Initially you could order and do anything that you probably could on other food apps, but talabat has gotten worse, the delivery time is beginning to worsen, the live tracking does not work properly. You see I use talabat til now, because I don’t feel like typing credit card in other apps so that’s why and talabat has every single credit card in my house hold, so that’s why I use talabat til this day. If u want a better food app I would tell you Deliveroo, or zomato but I personally prefer Deliveroo it feels why cleaner and more simple.

Bad customer service,. I used talabat from the beginning for the site before the application even, and now there’s no social media no customer service if you didn’t order , I cancelled order before 15 day till now I didn’t receive my money, and i followed the instructions to refund the money to the cards , i call the bank the inform me to contact talabat and there’s no line for calling customer service, and in the app you need to make new order to talk to them ? The fees it’s being much higher now so you can try talabat pro , when I registered, the free delivery is only for 3.5 kd and not for all shops? What if i want to order something in 1 kd or less it’s my choice why i need to order something much higher so i can use the free delivery? Or why I would sign for pro users if it’s no help for one order less then 3.5kd We all persons i pay for one user so why would one person order something for groups to get free deliveries? With put in mind that the raise the amount of delivery charge and the item ?

Really the worst customer service you’ll ever get. The restaurant I ordered from for some reason arrived to a very far area from where I live I don’t know why they sent him there I don’t even have that area in one of my saved addresses. The driver said he’ll let the restaurant contact me and they never did. I was on the line with Talabat customer service center for 20 mins without any one picking up the line and when they did she just told me I’ll try to contact the restaurant and call you back. She never did! I tried contacting support via chat and the guy just kept saying I’m not getting any reply from the restaurant and left the chat. Mind you, that I already paid by credit card and no one spoke to me about refund and I never even received the food.

Not very ethical. As other people of mentioned, the company doesn’t do a good job of taking responsibility when they mess up. They try to blame it on the drivers, but at the end of the day it’s the technology and the execution that are at issue. I ordered food and was told that it would take 25 minutes, and 25 minutes turned into 75 minutes, and by that time I had to leave my hotel. Despite calling to cancel the order and Talabat telling me that they would cancel and refund, they then proceeded to deliver the order to the hotel and the hotel contacted me saying that the driver was dropping it off and that I had no other choice. Obviously, because I was not going to be able to eat the food I told the hotel staff to have it and then spent the next several days trying to get talabat to refund me. I rarely write bad reviews, but in this instance I am really only interested in trying to protect people from having the same experience that I did. Talabat you should’ve taken responsibility.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!. They have by far one of the worst customer service experiences ever. Aside to the fact that they skim you on prices in their Mart section. Their 20 mins delivery may be FOUR HOURS PAST MIDNIGHT!!! They add hideous fees to your orders! They rip you off left and right! Municipality fees?!!! Seriously?!!! So aside to the taxes, service and delivery fees, you add municipality fees as well?! FOR REAL?!!! Trying to get a hold of any REP to speak to is like mission impossible! You end up chatting with some person who unfortunately ho has no idea what customer service is all about! You can’t even reach them on a phone number!! What kind of business is that?!! Take your business somewhere else. They’re not worth your money!

Excellent Service.. I do have to say so far so good! It’s an excellent service. But I wish there were more options to search from other than general, such as certain dishes/meal/criteria to choose that will easily filter restaurants for us based on our specific needs. If you can provide such service you win all the way. A problem I am facing currently is that I have to constantly re-enter my account information to pay everytime, because the previously registered one as a first option does not work, please advise.

Order canceled deliberately. Ordered my food online and after waiting for nearly 3 hours my ordered was canceled without notification. As per the customer service support my order was about to reach in 40 minutes after several follow up. The amount was paid by credit card when canceled by talabat why the amount is refunded in the wallet with one year validity why not refunded back to the credit card. Will not recommended to book through talabat instead search on talabat and order directly with the reatutant or establishment you need. Atleast things will be guaranteed you will know you will get it or not. Talabat is busy and they don't have any resources to handle large number of orders recently instead try new ventures who offer similar services.

Unbearably Frustrating – Avoid Talabat Oman at All Costs!. I've had enough of Talabat Oman's terrible service! They've pushed me to the limit with their constant failures. Their deliveries are NEVER on time! I've complained countless times, but nothing changes. They keep making empty promises, and I'm tired of waiting for my food to show up! The drivers need a serious attitude adjustment. It's high time they learned proper hygiene and brushed up on their English skills. I shouldn't have to struggle to communicate about my own order! To put it bluntly, Talabat Oman is a complete disaster. Save yourself the frustration and stay away from this joke of a service!

Worst Customer Services. I don’t recommend Talabat Kuwait, I had an issue with my order I tried to contact them but unfortunately there is no way to reach the customer service they just discontinued the calling service and there is no live chat appeared in the application to reach them. I did search online for their phone number and I found & called the number for the cooperatives restaurant services to respond to my concerns. And no matter what is your problem (wrong, late, or cold order) and no matter how much it cost they will just provide you 0.5 KD as an apology. It was never about the money but it is about how to respect your customers.

My review for this latest update. Well I started using talabat from their beginning since there was like 5 restaurants that it grows great and succeeded well and now I'm writing my opinion about this current latest new layout it's very nice but it looks much better on a PC monitor I guess . Now everything seems to look super small with all that new details gray colored font drop down flash it suits bigger screens much better but on an iPhone even the food picture is small can't see it clearly so I hope you guys bold the font a little so guys with glasses can see better lol thanks a lot

Talabat is the best app. In my entire life I said to myself why people have to go to restaurants and order ever time people should go their for special occasions only then I heard about talabat. Every one of my friends were speaking of it even my family I said what’s this app they told me you can order food online I said no way they told believe it or not it’s possible go download talabat then here I am today ordering everything from talabat and of course every time.

It’s getting worse and worse. While this started as a great app and service you can tell it is getting worse and worse. The drivers can’t find locations. I experienced this over 20 times and the drivers do not speak English or are not educated enough to understand. Foods comes late and cold and sometimes ruined. Further more the driver just delivered my order and was extremely rude and cussed me out saying your location is wrong. Unacceptable! I will delete this app and switch to another Again this time my order showed as delivery it’s been 3 hours and still didn’t come. Customer service has been awful too. This app is really going down. So unprofessional so bad

The worst delivery experience I’ve had.. I don't think I'm going to order anything from this application ever again. I read the reviews on the app store and I though everyone was exaggerating until I got my order after one hour and a half and it was cold and not even MY food. Delivery guy didn't want to come back and take the food, he said the restaurant is closed and he doesn't want to return our money and take the food. In the end we found the receipt of the person who ordered the meal and contacted the girl and we had her delivery guy switch our orders, when it finally came, it was cold and it didn't even taste good, will never order again and I'm deleting this app right now.

Horrible verification. Look I realize it’s the only way they can think to make this work but there are other options for verification and talking to people. Somehow I can get texts from everyone except their company so I can’t even place an order and I can’t leave my room in order to even remotely try and fix it... and every time I talk with them they keep telling me it’s my fault and it’s something I have to do without actually telling me what’s wrong and why it’s happening. If I had a phone for here this would probably be a better review but since this I abased on coming in the country for a brief concern this service is horrible. Very unhelpful customer service who just blame you for it being wrong and not even remotely considering it could be their system.

Improved and only now ready. I was angry with this app for a while, simply because they get on the bad side of customers during a sugar low, a lot of the negative reviews, including one I left here a few years back, are full of rage :) not sure whether it was the market of delivery people or some details within the app, to put it simply, it didn’t work now it does, and I use it often five stars

Absolutely pathetic. The number of times they have messed up my order from restaurants. The number of times they have carried the bags upside down and spilled the soup everywhere. The number of times I’ve had to place my entire order and then only at the end to be told the restaurant is Not accepting orders. And today after trying to order groceries from safeway and being shown for 3 hours that my order is on the way I receive text message and a call telling me my order was cancelled because Safeway was too busy. And the app still shows my delivery is on the way. Talabat is a joke. I will never use it again.

This is for Talabat Hawler Kurdistan. I saw their ads all over social and around town so i was hey why not, if they have spent this much on ads they must have spent just as much on the business and customer service. I ordered and my food was super late, no one called to say sorry, no one replied to my review of the driver....its like no one cared about me. Then I noticed that the Talabat delivery motorbikes were waiting outside restaurants and taking up all the parking space. So I cant order through them cause their super late and well unhuman is the best way to put it....AND now I cant even go eat in at my fav restaurants cause their taking all the parking....😅i’m going back to my old food delivery app

Inconsistent and bad customer service. Where do I start. Orders are constantly late, frequently cancelled and if an order is late then their customer service to deal with the issue is lazy and and most times unresponsive. To make it worse, they have a Talabat Go service which promises faster delivery times at an extra cost. This is a SCAM. The Go service is almost always the same if not slower then ordering normally but they continue to advertise faster delivery times. When I complained about the extra cost for the same service, their rely was “our drivers were very busy”. If your drivers are busy then DON’T ADVERTISE FASTER DELIVERY TIMES. The only reason I still use this app is due to a lack of good alternatives. Terrible company but we are stuck with them.

Like them. I seriously like you guys for two very good reasons: Not only do you host my favorite coffee house, The Coffee Beans, but it is on “Talabat go” where you can track them and they arrive super fast to your location. Not Jahra though! Which makes me wonder, is it your problem as talabat or coffee bean not having enough branches in these remote areas?!? Any how for the time being I’m satisfied with your app, and with your customer service and of course my coffee, Not bad at all. 👍

Very unprofessional customer service. Very unprofessional customer service. Placed my order through Talabat for Caribou branch in Uptown Midriff Dubai UAE. I received a call from Leeyann (the branch manager); she told me that the add-on option that I chose through Talabat is not available. I refused to accept a replacement, and I informed her that either I get my order as it’s or if they are going to remove the add-on to send me the difference in money with the driver. Then Rabie (or Rabih; Caribou UAE country manager) talked to me and promised me that he will come and deliver difference in money by himself (which was a lie) because I received a call from Talabat one hour from placing and accepting the order telling me that Caribou canceled the order.

Worst app ever. I places my order and the delivery time was 50 minutes, when tracking the order after 40 minutes has passed it shows that the order is still bieng prepared and the delivery time was an hour and 4 minutes (after 40 minutes), i called the resturante to complane several times and they assured that the order was ready 27 minutes ago!!!. When i called the call center they told me to chat whith them on the app and when i tryed to do that it says that there are no agents available!! Worst app ever, i'd rather order directly from the resturante or any other app than to deal with this none sence.

They must hire people to rate them highly. I use a lot of the food delivery apps in Dubai - Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Zomato, Careem Now, etc. - and this one is the absolute worst. Save yourself the trouble and download one of the others. Orders have been cancelled despite being accepted 30 mins to 1.5 hours prior due to “unavailability of drivers”, “IT bugs”, and “communication issues with the restaurant” on my last 4 out of 5 orders. Not to mention the service when you call is horrible. The employees don’t seem to care that you’ve been waiting an hour and a half for food that will no longer arrive and offer no form of credit for your troubles. Will not be using this app in the future. How it currently has 4+ stars on the App Store is frankly baffling. They must hire people to rate them highly.

Love the app have a few suggestions. I have a few suggestions that I think would make the app easier to use : 1- include a price range for each restaurant and have a filter for restaurants based on their price range (sometimes I don’t have much money and it’s hard to look for cheap options ) 2- Talabat should have more special offers for users who use it often like free Talabat delivery or something like that

Unacceptable. I rarely used Talabat to order from restaurants. Only used to order through Talabat mart. However, when i ordered from a restaurant through Talabat. I was disappointed as expected and canceled my order because the “restaurant” gave the order to the wrong driver even though I order from the restaurant daily through another app and received my order as usual only when i used talabat I encountered this problem. That happened when i waited an hour after ordering and thinking my order would be on it’s way anytime now. There are much better apps that deliver faster and cheaper than Talabat. Save yourself from the hassle.

My account was hacked and my credit card was used by the Hacker. My account was compromised and I only found out when I saw charges from talabat on my credit card and emails from talabat on my account with orders going to another country. I immediately blocked the card and contacted talabat. Their response was they’re sorry for the inconvenience and they blocked the account. This is absolutely unimaginable that the compromise of the clients’ security and credit cards is considered a mere “inconvenience”. I tried to follow up with talabat to see what action is taken and they gave empty responses “ please accept our apology for the misunderstanding.”

Mr. You have a problem with the application. I received the order twice, and the amount was deducted twice, even though I only requested one Talabat You do not have any way of contacting the customer, and this is intentional. After searching, I found an email for customer services, but there was no response, and this indicates that you do not bear any responsibility towards customers. لديكم مشكلة في التطبيق وصلني الطلب مرتين وتم خصم المبلغ لمرتين مع انني طلبت طلب واحد فقط طلبات لا توجد ليدكم اي طريقة اتصال مع العميل وهذا متعمد وبعد البحث وجدت بريد الكتروني لخدمات الزبائن ولكن لا استجابة وهذا يدل انكم لاتتحملون اي مسؤلية اتجاه العملاء سأتقدم بشكوى رسمية لحماية المستهلك ولا انصح بتعامل معكم للأفتقاركم للأبسط معايير النزاهة وهي التواصل مع العميل خلال الهاتف

Great app!. Honestly I really like this app! The people are so nice and they’re trying their best. I don’t care if they were late n stuff, because it’s worth it. Why? The darn food tastes so good. Like I made a drawing for one of the delivery-men as a gift with some candy! Like man this app is utter genius. Disappointed...👎🏻😒. This app is....really good but sometimes i just really starve while ordering..(like right now) like why tf would i want to remove *salt* from my burger or fries,it is so complicated because i have to go through like 1m questions just for food....i would rather burn myself instead of wait that long.....JUST GIVE ME MY FOOD AND I GIVE YOU THE MONEY THAT YOU WANT MORE!! srsly i just ordered a burger (still waiting) its price was 1.700 BD (Bahraini dinar) and you said i needed to pay FREAKING 1,900 BD!!!!!

Only used it for convenience sake. Talabat was always the go to application for ordering food for either me or my family up until the recent years it has become a horrible experience as it is an application. The customer service will constantly repeat to you automated messages that relay false information at times which I have had numerous times. I will give you good fellow people one example I have had with a restaurant. Now the restaurant I already ordered from was available and not busy and I waited for approximately 50 minutes until I contacted their customer support when they have told me that my order should be dispatched by now. The second time I called them was an hour and a half after when my food still didn’t arrive and they supposedly told me that they couldn’t get a hold of the restaurant. I called the restaurant myself and they told me that talabat didnt even contact them to begin with. HORRIBLE.

Honesty is everything. Keep it real.. What I noticed recently about the reviews of the restaurants that they are dishonest, It’s clearly seems like it’s paid for. They are the same reviews literally but with different names and emojis. These misleading reviews obviously to leave better impression of the quality of food, money, speed of delivery and packaging. That’s a shame, I can’t continue paying for those who thought they can fool people. We need the restaurants to focus their efforts on upgrading the quality of food, packaging, speed of delivery and for a reasonable amount of money, not on playing tricks on customers to fool them. Talabat app make a step to fix that issue please.

If you want your order ON TIME, don’t use Talabat.. In QATAR, If you want to order food and you need to receive it ON TIME, then Talabat is the not the right app for you. Delivery ETA and actual delivery time is very different. This happened several times, I ordered, I am supposed to get my order in 40 minutes, 40 minutes later the order is not ready nor picked up by the driver. You request support on talabat chat, they said they are short on drivers!!! Very simple, change the estimated delivery time and give the customers the option to CHOOSE, don’t lie. I am as a customer pay in the same minute without any delays but to get what I paid for, I must chase my order. This is not acceptable. I will delete the app.

Horrible customer service. I ordered and my order got canceled after an hour plus of waiting and they sent me a message they tried to call but I had my phone in my hand the whole time . Another bad experience, Today while I tried the live chat Halla from Talabat just left the chat while she asked me for the full address even though I have saved in on Talabat, as I was typing she left because she said I didn’t respond in a while and it wasn’t even a single minute. They took no further action nor did they try to call me , I had to call the restaurant directly myself to fix the order . I had enough bad customer service, I am deleting the app and switching to Carriage

Talabat. I think Talabat is a great application with a variety of amazing restaurants, although it would be much more better if you ask for the location in the app itself rather than letting the driver call to ask about the location every time , and the communication method is a bit weak where we can only text (sometimes I get late replies)and I think if you add a calling method it would be so much easier to communicate. I wish you would take my problems in consideration and work on that to make Talabat better. Thank you.

Best delivery app in the region.. Talabat is simply the best delivery application and the most reliable one out there. Talabat always listens to thier customers and has a great connection between thier customers. And with Talabat Mart it will make you life much easier and have access to groceries 24/7 with an excellence delivery drivers and team, let’s not forget the voucher’s that talabat gifts them to thier customers it means alot for us customers. Zero respect on. It’s about time they start respecting customers time and enforce delay fines against restaurants for continuous & disgraceful delays. I’ve had many orders with delays that lasted more than double the delivery time mentioned! I’m surprised seeing the latest update on the app that they’ve done for delays. When a customer complains, they’re response now is giving out the phone number of the restaurant! Getting theirselves out of it & making the customer personally deal with the restaurant, which actually contradicts with the whole idea of their app! If there’s any update they should do, it’s updating their agreements & enforcing fines against these restaurants that never stick to the mentioned timings!

The worst. I’m a long time user and I gave this app too many chances and each time it disappoints, mostly due to the very long delivery time. The last time I used it my order was late 3 hours!! I contacted customer service after an hour delay they did reply and called the restaurant but then my order was shown to be delivered on the screen and it was delivered after two hours from contacting customer service. Also my order was canceled several times before, half an hour after ordering. And lastly one time my order was canceled and then it came two hours after cancellation which did not make sense at all. I deleted the app after too many bad experiences with it.
