Accident with the record button. The app is great but I picked up a fiddle at music store and pulled up the app to tune it. I didn’t know that I had detuned the app. I tuned the low A string and it was already at A just needing fine tuning but the tuner show between F and F#. I ended up breaking the string because in settings there is a record button to change the A(440htz) note frequency and and it was set to around 1400htz. I don’t know how or why I could’ve clicked the record button but I did. Could it possibly removed?

Good basic tuner. I don’t use it often (all of my instruments have their own tuners), but it has a clear, easy to understand display that includes a graphic display of the note being played and how far away from “correct” it is. In addition, it shows the exact frequency being played (to the nearest 1/10th of a Hz.). The one thing it doesn’t do is display which octave the note is in (“C” could be in any of 7 octaves on a piano, foe example.

Wonderful tuner. I've used very many tuners, and this one is by far my favorite. It's very decisive, incredibly accurate, and sensitive to even the slightest decimal change in hertz. It's also pretty customizable and rather pretty. My only complaint is that it can sometimes difficult to use in a room with lots of other noise in it, but there's not really any getting around that with a microphone tuner. Definitely worth picking up if you're a musician.

An Almost-Perfect Free Tuner. What’s not to like? It’s simple, straightforward, and does exactly what you need it to do. The only thing to complain about here are the advertisements. The need to monetize the free version of an app through nominally intrusive advertisements glisters with an aura of opportunism. I would much rather see the free version of an app be an inducement to a paid upgrade to a full-version app with greatly enhanced versatility. To make money on both ends of a creative endeavor calls the creators’ ethics into question, even if in small ways. As such, it’s not an app that I will ever spend money on. Remove the ads, provide the world with something of value for free, and I’ll buy anything a creator creates, just to support the vision. If you’re gonna try to find a way to make money off me one way or another, you’re gonna have to nickel & dime it out of me on your own, because I’m not likely to give it to you any other way. It’s time for a return of ethical altruism in business, IMO.

Much better than I expected. I had my piano professionally tuned 2 weeks ago but my tuner must have spaced out on the last octave. It was horribly sharp and the last 5 notes sounded the same. Admittedly, most of us don’t play those notes that often but when they’re out of tune, you realize you play them more than you think. It was so bad that it was just too painful for me to wait for him to come back and fix his mistake. So after ordering a tuning kit, I downloaded this app. As any pianist knows, the uppermost octave is particularly challenging to tune by ear because the strings are so short and the tone is so tinny. I first tested the app on middle A and sure enough it read 339.9, close enough to A440 to which the piano was tuned. And, as I heard, the last octave was at least a quarter to a half step sharp. The tuner was able to distinguish between the uppermost 4 notes which all sounded identical to my ear. The app is simple to use and extremely discerning and sensitive, even to very small adjustments. It is so sensitive that I caution everyone to make sure there is no ambient noise in the room while you’re tuning. I don’t know what extra benefits the paid app provides other than no ads which are very unobtrusive in a thin bar at the top of the screen. Truthfully, the free app works so well I would have been happy to pay for it.

Very accurate. I have made a living as a guitarist. Have been playing longer than most of you have been alive. I use Peterson and Conn strobe tuners. I have found (and was happily surprised in so doing) that this app is almost as accurate as a strobe. Of course this works with your phone’s mic therefore any outside noise will effect it. So, for a free app it is great for quick use when practicing and/or playing around the house. I have used it to set intonation. I will add; if you don’t have spare money for a tuner. This app will work very nicely.

WOW!!. I have been looking for the most simple tuner for myself (I play the Ukulele) and I am a kid so I needed something simple for me to understand with me only knowing the 4 chords G C E A. This app made it RIDICULOUSLY EASY!! Every week I tune my ukulele and I swear I have probably mentioned this app to my friends a lot. My dad first found this app and tunes his guitar. My friends are probably sick of me mentioning this app probably for the millionth time. I love that you can change the settings to solfege. I am also a singer and I love that I can check my pitch. Overall, This is the best tuning app I have ever used.

Its a great app! definitely recommed. Well, I was looking for a tuner app when I came across this one. Its very accurate! as a flute player I liked it very much. There are options too! Im very impressed by this app and I would absolutely recommend this app to anyone and everyone that plays a sort of type of instrument.

Stable Needle. I needed a good tuner to set up a Les Paul I’d just bought and tried a handful of the “recommended” tuners, but found them unstable when it came to displaying a single hertz and especially tenths of a hertz. Then I downloaded the Pano Tuner and was relieved to see the gauge stabilize immediately right down to the tenths of a hertz. I’ve stayed with the free version because the ads don’t block the gauge or cause any delay. Highly recommended!

Sticks some on my old iPad. I use this regularly but have some trouble with it sticking on my first generation iPad Air while tuning my ukulele. That being said I find it very useful. By sticking I mean I will tune the A string, adjust it, and it will give the same reading until I pluck another string before plucking the A string again. Also, no matter how many times I try I cannot get it reading exactly on A (440) for that string. The other strings dont seem to be a problem. Sincerely, MS

Tunes to any note. At first I was baffled. There was no “uke tuning” nor any other instrument tuning for that matter. Then I hit a G string. The app picked up my Low G tuning and indicated high or low tuning. I hit the C string. Same thing. This app is awesome! I just wonder, when tuning new strings, how difficult it will be to get to the correct note. You do need to know what the notes are (high g, c, e, a or low g, c, e, a. ) I downloaded four apps trying to find low g tuning for my uke. None of them had Low g. This app does! I’m all in.

Absolutely perfect. This is the ideal tuner app. Identifies any pitch extremely fast and accurately, even faster than my Snark tuner, and has a good, clear interface with a coarse and fine tuning scale that makes it easy to lock onto a note very precisely. It also allows you to adjust the base note from 440 Hz to other pitches for people who want custom tunings, and has many other bells and whistles as well, but keeps them from getting in your way unless you want them. Totally a five-star app, many thanks to the creator.

Same great app as long as I can remember. I don’t usually write reviews but I’ve been playing instruments for more than 10 years now now and panotuner has always been the go to tuning app. Whether it was tuning in orchestra class or having a jam session with a guitar in my room I literally don’t remember using another app. An aspect ratio update is long overdue for the newer style iphones but this definitely gets the job done.

New update is pretty!. I've used this app for years now, and it's always been an incredibly useful tool. Recently they got rid of the old radio aesthetic and switched to something more modern, and it looks super cool! I vouch 100% for this app as it's literally never let me down, and i've had more problems from my phones themselves over the years, or even my guitars, than I have for this app. Edit: While writing this, I found a paid, separate app, which has the old style. I think that's kinda funny, but clunky. Id love to see you guys take new photos of the app for the preview, maybe even the settings page!

Good except won’t close. App does what is expected, and does it well, but when done tuning, it frequently won’t close! Seen 9 times out of 10. Only way I have found to close this app when it ignores a “close swipe” is to turn off the iPhone and restart. Only then will this app allow itself to be closed. This is annoying, and battery draining. Still gave it 4 stars because it is a free app, but would have been 5 stars otherwise.

Straight forward and simple design. I have tried so many different tuning apps on my phone over many years and this one is by far the best. Extremely simple and easy to use. No annoying ads or interruptions. No pay wall. It just does what it needs to do and it does it well. Highly recommend

The best tuning app I’ve ever had. So I’ve had a bunch of tuning apps over the years, because I love to pick up weird acoustic instruments that a guitar tuner won’t work on. I just got a Lyra harp, and my husband suggested I get a turning app, I randomly chose this one, and I couldn’t be happier with it. It has an impressive octave rage and I was able to turn it up in no time with absolutely no hassle. Thank you for making a great app!

Pano Tuner. I’ve had few guitar tuners but among all I prefer Pano Tuner because it is simple to use and it does not that sensitive that oscillate more than necesary. Its down side is you have to be in a quite place to use, otherwise, it picks the noise around and you have to work around the noise. I have been recommending friends to use it because it does a great job!

Liked It So Much, I Bought the Paid Version. I reached a point where I just could not stand my piano due to the middle section (where the kids bang out their music) being so out of tune. Tuner can’t get here for another week so I just needed something to get buy. I’m not a trained piano tech or tuner but I tried (in vain) to get that middle section at least close using the upper and lower registers as a point of reference but I just couldn’t figure it out well enough to get the temperament restored. Finally, desperate for at least a “survival” tuning to hold me until the pro can get here, I tried this app. After sampling the lower and upper registers, I could visually see how the octaves were stretched and could pick a point on the +/- measurement that followed the pattern. Lo and behold it worked! At least well enough to not hurt my ears until the pro can get hear and really get it dialed in. With the paid version I can get more precise visual range and expect it will become very helpful between visits from the pro tuner. If it can do a piano this well, I imagine it would be awesome for a guitar or violin.

{panotuner} more like panoramic tuner. This is by far the best tuning app I’ve found for your home devices .I consider it to be very useful as for its panoramic scope of frequency, because not only does it fine tune, pianos, but I mostly use it for tuning my guitar, and I’m able to easily adjust the chords to any note and make a beautiful sound of harmonics. panoramic for its wide spectrum of musical instruments and their scales. to the creators of PanoTuner. I give two thumbs up .good job!

Highly recommend for tuning. I play multiple instruments including but not limited to Viola, Baritone, and guitar. I use this app for all of these. It's great to pull out when you need to tune quickly right before a football game, or when walking around with your viola right before a concert. I highly recommend this app and if you are looking for a tuner, this is the one for you.

Appreciated so much I bought it. I’ve used this for a couple of years. It’s always on hand unlike the clip on tuner I’ve lost for months on end. It’s in my bag when I need it at a store or at a friend’s house. And thank you to the developer for not having obnoxious ads that you have to sit through for 30 seconds. I really do appreciate it. So though I didn’t need to pay for it, I wanted to. Thank you!

Long Time User. I’m a professional musician of 36 years & have been through a lot of tuners. I downloaded this tuner probably about 8 years ago & it’s served me quite well. It can be difficult to use with a bunch of racket going on in the background, but that’s to be expected & I’ve got no complaints. From a professional standpoint it’ll easily get 5 stars from me.

Love love love it!. I am an old hippie guitar player and was never very good. I used this app on my ancient classical guitar and it sounds better than I could ever tune it by ear. My husband dragged an old bar piano home one day and neither of us can play it. A friend came over and told us to take it to the dump. I was determined to get it right after that comment- bought a tuning hammer and after a quick lesson on Utube, I am now a professional piano tuner🤪. This app is fantastic!!

Tuning is out of tune?. I am a section leader and I tune my section(Flute)every single day except for those few, rare occasions. When I was tuning one day, I got all of my section “in tune” and then when we all played the same note, we weren’t tuned AT ALL! We were all sharp and my band director had to directly tune each of us. I didn’t get in trouble but it took some time out of the time we had so we were a little upset. I don’t know why it didn’t tune us but I deleted the app. I loved using it because it was really easy and free. I just don’t know why it made us out of tune then in tune.

Great for the lever harp. I actually have a dedicated tuner that I have to use a pickup with. I usually have my phone by my harp when practicing. So I can pick it up and quickly use. I love it. Picks up the tones without having to use the pickup. I am able to tune to 432 frequency, which is recommended by some lever harp users as opposed to the 440. This is all I use now. I’m not even sure where my other tuner is now. 👍👍👍

Probably will give them money if its an option. Works great, intuitive interface, pleasant design, the ads are surprisingly innocuous which actually makes someone like me notice them, unfortunately the interwebs algorithms can’t figure me out, and think I am in desperate need of end of life assisted living.

Bass notes need to be better. I love this tuner. Whenever it measures something, it measures the string and not the note as a whole. The problem with this though is that the Eb (E flat) and lower on the final octave, it has a hard time figuring out which note. You'll understand what I mean. But from E all the way up to C, it's perfect. It's harder tuning the first octave but that's because the strings don't vibrate for very long. That's the piano's fault and not the tuner's. I give it a 9/10

Love The way this one shows the actual frequency of each note. and how it even has at least one decimal digit even more bit man would it be so awesome to have two more digits to read for my work with frequencies. Tuned a few guitars with it and it’s pretty decent to get it close to perfection. The ears the best after you get everything in the ballpark. Tried so many tuners and because this one gives easy to read frequency to see I’m using this one for now over the others I deleted now. Thank you.

Great for many instruments. I’ve used about 3 different tuning apps so far, but none of them even compared to this app. From the perfect accuracy, the easy interface, and the fact that it’s FREE, I’ve used this app almost everyday. As a person who plays 10 instruments, I’ve used it in instruments from my saxes to my guitars, and even my banjo! It holds up just as well as a physical tuner or tuning fork, and can even work on stage with lots of noises. I love how you can change the frequency of “A” so it makes it simpler for tuning transposing instruments like my clarinet. Have recommended this to friends and will be using it for years to come!

Great, just one thing... One thing is that you have to change the tuner to different types of instrument- for example, I have a Bb trumpet, so I had to change the setting to Bb. It would be nicer if the tuner just had an option for which instrument you play. Also I’m a bit confused on what a Concert A is, might just be me since I’m new to band, might be true for others in band/orchestra. Otherwise, this app is great for being a free one. (Also, there aren’t pop up ads that come up while you are playing, which is a big plus.) Please acknowledge my review and fix these issues. -Anonymous

I’ve tried every tuning app, this is the best. This app is basic, it’s perfect, it’s the Telecaster of tuning apps. I have tried them ALL. Some are finicky and annoying to use, this is perfect, free, and easy to use. I have like 20 tuning apps downloaded, I’ve tried them all for periods of time and I come back to this one and I only use this one now. I love it.

Goog+. This tuning app is rather exquisite I find that it has helped the souls of many including myself however there is one thing, while tuning my piano one of the strings snapped, and because of this over time I lost interest and have grown distant from the piano but after a long time my passion has been reignited and would like to play again and will continue to use this app Tldr: its good

Death by update. Used to love this app. Simple no-nonsense interface, no unnecessary frills or bells or whistles, just a simple guitar tuner. Until the latest update that is. Apparently flat is now to the right and high is to the left of the desired pitch? Exactly the opposite of every other tuner throughout the history of tuners? Makes zero sense because one tunes into pitch from low to correct pitch for the most part. I guess the devs are not musicians? But hey, at least your app is quirky and different…and being deleted.

Great Tuner. This tuner app is WONDERFUL!! It is handy and easy to use. It’s on my phone, so I don’t have to worry about carrying an extra piece of equipment in my instrument case just to tune. I’ve tried tuners I’ve borrowed from other players just to see how they work. I have yet to find one I like nearly as well as my tuner app, and I certainly haven’t seen one that beats it! If you’re searching for a great tuner, quit looking and get this app. I don’t think you will be disappointed!

PSA: Better than Boss and Korg!. I came here today because I felt like this needed to be said. I have a $250 korg tuner and the ever so popular Boss TU-2 tuner pedal, they’re great! But when tuning my 5 string bass in the studio, I find that this app (thanks in part to my iPhone’s high quality mics) does a better more accurate job of getting me tuned quickly. The other tuners bounce around and struggle with that low signal. Using this app on my iPhone 7+, its fast and has no tracking issues with that Low B on my bass. THANK YOU!!! ❤️🤘🔥

Great tuner until I upgraded my phone.. This has been a great tuner. It is simple, intuitive, handy, and accurate. Great work, really. Until I upgraded to iPhone X. The problem is the program is not suited to the new haptics of the iPhone X, with no button. To exit the app, I can’t swipe, so no way to get back to the main screen, or another app from the apps main screen. A work around is to go to the info screen then swipe away, or turn on the accessibility controls.

The greatest tuner app ever made. I have used exactly this app for over a decade. It provides accurate instrument tuning that I have otherwise never experienced with physical timers or even the built-in tuner on my expensive Martin guitar. It gets the job done, the ads are not intrusive to the experience. I hope the developers keep this app going for a long time to come.

Best online free tuner I’ve ever used. I’ve tried about 10 or more apps that claim they will tune just from the microphone in your phone they’re all very difficult to use and never seem to work right. This particular app however has never failed me it’s always simple and it always works. I half to press at the 12th fret to do the low E on a base or anything lower because it doesn’t like that low of a sound but I found that to be the case on most

So far, so good. I just downloaded this app and it's perfect for what I wanted. There are a ton of apps that will work for standard tuning a guitar. I needed an app that would work for alternate tuning and I figured a piano tuner would be able to tune to any note there is to play. And it did. Naturally, you have to know the note you want to tune the string to. If you don't know what drop-D or drop-C each string needs, then you might need another app, but if you know what you want to tune each string to, this is perfect.

2024 Updates Ruined App. 2024 will be the year this app turned into GARBAGE. I say this despite using pano tuner everyday for the past 13 years! Out of nowhere, the most recent updates changed the directionality of the low and high pitches. They’re now reversed!? Why!? Initially, low pitches were on the left and high pitches on the right - which made perfect sense since increments would have the same direction as how you read (from left to right). Now, the low pitches are on the right which makes absolutely no sense at all! When I tried to tune this week, I could not get used to this change and kept getting my instruments out of tune and it took five times longer than it would normally take to tune (It used to take 1 minute, now it takes 5 minutes). Either the parent company of this app is intentionally sabotaging pano tuner or whoever made the most recent updates has no brains for music and has never touched an instrument in their life. Either way, after 13 years I will now this delete this app which has been turned into complete trash and will look for another tuner on the AppStore. Good riddance!

Good app. I’ve used piano tuner for years to tune my guitars. I find it to be excellent for this purpose since the dial moves are just the right speed. Other tuners like the one in logic are just way too sensitive to make tuning easy. I’ll leave piano tuning to my piano tuner. I use it on my iPhone so that it’s always available whether in the studio or on location.

Simple, accurate and reliable. I’ve played guitar for over 50 years and gone through several tuning apps over the last decade or so. I really like this one best. I’ve found it to be simple to use, and accurate, and adjustable to +/- 2, 5 or 10 cents. I find that for me, 2 cents is too sensitive, and 10 not quite accurate enough for my use. 5 cents has been my preferred setting and accurate enough for me to adjust my intonation when I don’t feel like pulling out my Korg with a meter and plugging in. This is definitely quicker from that standpoint. It works best when background noise is limited. Overall I’m delighted with Pano tuner and strongly recommend it.

Perfect for General Orchestra Tuning. This app is very efficient at tuning my cello. It is always on the ball, and is easy to use. Just play a note and tune accordingly. It does have an ad banner on top, but it is not in your way. I overall recommend this app for String instrument tuning (since that's all I play). I don't know how it works with the rest of the instruments. Like winds, brass, or pianos. I also think it has a bit of trouble with low sounds, like Double Bass.

This is easily the best tuning app. This is my favorite tuning application and is actually more accurate than my Korg electronic tuner. Works very well with a variety of instruments- I use it on my violin, mandolin and trombone with very precise accuracy. The people who complain that background noise interferes with tuning are right- but you will find that with any electronic tuner period. Fantastic app and definitely worth the download!

Works great for everyday intermediate flute ^.^. I recently had my flutes serviced & the head joint corks don’t line up for me! I could tell my notes weren’t true by ear; which made practice an especially torturous labor. I found this app in a moment of desperation. My head joints(I have 2 flutes) were both tuned within 20mins! Now I use it daily while practicing to tune the instrument during warm up. 👌🏾🥳 Daily practice is less of a chore! That’s free without the upsell! Thanks!

I never rate apps, but here we go.. I appreciate this app so much. Almost every other app out there makes it incredibly difficult to play different tunings on guitar solely because you have to pay for the full version to do anything other than standard tuning. This app doesn’t make me do that, and for that, it’s my favorite app at the moment.

Works well but won’t close.. As far as chromatic tuners go this works fine. The problem is there’s no way to close it. Once it’s on the screen, there’s no way to get it off. You can’t slide over to the next application like you normally can with an iPhone. There’s no little X anywhere to close it with. The only thing I can do is turn the phone off and then turn it back on. So that makes using it impractical for me. I have an IPhone XR btw…

Very satisfied. This was the 3rd free tuner app I tried and it is the best. There is immediate response without the lag of one of the other apps I used, and the display is very clear and straightforward. If there is one issue I am displeased with, it is the battery drain if I leave the app open in the background. I try to close the app immediately after I finish tuning my instrument.

Best tuner ever. I’m usually in band and I can tell if I’m off tune but I tried this app and amazingly it worked So maybe you can change the app name to “piano/band tuner” or something in that sort because I play a electric piano and I got this app for fun and I changed me settings on it to be a trumpet and surprisingly it said the notes correctly I would highly recommend this app to any band director

Good For Upright Bass. Tried a few apps for double bass and this one is working out good so far. It is fast and accurate for a phone app picks up fundamental and harmonics. It also gives you the corresponding Hz for each note could be helpful for finding unwanted peaks.

Amazed. I am blatantly amazed that an app a free app at that could me tune my guitar!

PANO TUNER. I love this app. Perfectly tunes guitar and ukulele in seconds. Best of all the tuners I've tried. Great App.

Bad. Does not work

Excellent tuner. Great tuner, you can change things around a bit in settings which is useful, and the ads are not intrusive. Very happy.

Thanks. Thanks for bringing the original version back - familiar, easier and less flighty.

Visual display excellent. So easy to use, accurate and visually excellent.

Great. I am yet to compare it to a proper tuner, however it is much more responsive and accurate than even the most popular paid applications I've tried. Very well done

Great musical tool — highly recommend. I know this app is intended as a universal instrument tuner, however I personally use this app as a songwriting tool. If I have a tune in my head, I hum it into the app to work out the notes I’m humming, so that I may write it down to eventually work into a song. It’s very sensitive and accurate, with a nice and concise app design to show you what you want to know at a glance. Would highly recommend this app to any musician as both a tuner and a songwriting tool.

very easy do use. very easy to use but doesn’t show how the strings should be tuned

Great free guitar tuning app.. It’s free, it’s accurate, (checked against two separate chromatic tuners, with no discernible differences), and it offers alternative tuning such as half step down, dropped D, etc for free, which after downloading multiple ‘free’ apps that only offer standard tuning for free, everything else is a paid upgrade, this is an awesome little app! Rate it 5 stars.

Horrible. ITS SO GOOD

Brian Riggs. I have used this on my Grand piano many times it’s simply brilliant

Brilliant. Best tuner I’ve used you can tune anything to any note great for standard and alternative tunings and very accurate

good, but sort of weird. when I close the app (with five fingers- not with the home button), at the top, the black bar that usually tells the time and the battery percentage is red! and it says it's recording the sound, but then it quickly goes away so I can't help but feel that this app is recording sound while the app is being used and sending it somewhere.

Love it. So accurate ... easy to use ... just love it .. so much better than an A440 tuning fork I have been tuning since the sixties

One of the better ones.. Long time user. Easy to use, clear and precise.

Very good. I use it to tune stringed instruments, I use the frequency value to make it accurate, haven’t found that on another app.

Tuner. Easy and accurate. Best tuner I have ever used.

Easy tuner. Easy to use. Perfect for my needs. Brilliant.

Great app!. I use it to tune my electric guitar and bass, its spot on accurate!

Piano tuner review. I find this tuner more stable for vocals. I use it to check my pitch when singing a cappella

Tuner review.. Like this unit for its simplicity and accuracy. As an ancient amateur the analog dial suits well. Easy to tell if string needs to go up or down. Works on bass and all. Keep it simple please.

Best tuner so far that I have came across. Well deserved 5 star tuner. It helps me as I am beginner., but show to professional they love it too.

Pano tuner tops. I love this tuner. I make guitars. Ike’s and have made a banjo and a drum. I can use pano tuner for all the instruments.

Safe and effective. So darn accurate it was able to show that my E659 tuning fork is inaccurate and only vibrates at 657.5. Even shows me when i sing a familiar song without a guide tone that i am in fact singing in the correct key at the correct pitch. Astounded me, more because i had no idea i was holding pitch- usually my sense of tuning is very relative and not fixed. Works like a cheek charm. It could tell you the pitch your dog barks at. Accurately shows the note of airconditioner hum even.

Very accurate and easy to use.. Best tuner app available.

Excellent Synth tuner. It just is easy to tune a synth with this and I tune drums by ear but I will use this one day. *****

Pano tuner. Great app. Easy to use and accurate using for my ukulele’s

Excellent tunner. We have been using this tunner for some time to tune a twelve string guitar we find it better than most

Amazing. Amazing tuner. Better than some you have to pay for

Please fix bug. Can you please fix the bug in the top green bar which is moving the wrong direction. It makes the app impossible to use. I’ve been using this app without any problems for years but the recent update has made it unusable for me. Thanks.

Awesome.... I have bought some high end tuners in the past and have always had to find the sweet spot to tune some strings but absolutely no probs with this one and its totally free. now I would pay to upgrade but theres no need this does all I want perfectly... Great job mate....

Amazing. This app is the best tuning app ever. I am so glad that I found this app! not only does it tell you if the note is correct but it shows you how close it is to the correct pitch. Excellent app!

Good basic and free tuner. Good basic and free tuner

Great efficient tuner!. Works well!

Great - Easy - Love it!. A real aid. Quick enough to let me know as I play my sax out of tune. A great help for a beginner like me as I learn to get mouth around the notes Thanks.

PanoTuner. Perfect and ideal for tuning my harp, eukelele, eukelele banjo, guitar and 5 string banjo at

Just Perfect. easy to use, vey accurate and even give the correct frequency in Hertz! I love it.

PanoTuner Review. PanoTuner is great!!! Easy to use, free, accurate... all round winner 👍

Amazing. I don't bother with clip on tuners. Just use Pano. Quick, accurate, retro radio interface. Love it!

Best tuner tuner there is. Easy to use snd really accurate. fantastic app!!

Excellent and easy to use.. Never in my life have I even watched a piano tuner at work, but armed with Pano Tuner, I launched into tuning our old family piano. I found It simple to use and gained accurate results with every wire on every note. I’ll never tackle it again though as it took me two full afternoons to get every note corrected and along the way I realised I am not cut out for this type of work.

Outstanding!. Best free tuning app in the store by far! It accurately does everything I need, it is especially useful to me as I play transposing instruments and is the only app I have found which supports them!

Fabulous. I’ve been using this for years. No complaints

Great for Harp tuning. This is a really good tuning app. Easy to use and very accurate, would recommend this highly. Thank you,

AMAZING. Pano tuner is so easy to use and it works for a lot of instruments. I used it on my piano (that was a test to see if it works), my double bass, my brother’s cello and my guitar.

Excuse me mister. It’s been my best tuning app for many many years.

Note problem. I’m on French horn and I can’t really get the right note even know my tutor says I play the right note but this says it’s not. (Really good tutor)

Can't rate it high enough!. This tuner is so easy and so very accurate. I've tried many tuners and stopped when I found this one, I love it.

Simplicity is the Key. I use this for my Folk Harp and Uke. It is uncomplicated and straightforward to use. A wonderful tool to have on my phone. Yes, the title is a pun.

The new UI sucks. I know this is an effort to modernize and simply, but we all prefer the original interface, it was less complicated and holds more personality👍

Small defect. App crashes on iPad Pro 2020 if my USB C multi-port dongle is plugged in (which is always plugged into my keyboard to control it)

PanoTuner. Easy to use for this beginner fiddler

Pano tuner free. Excellent tuner. I use it all the time and highly recommend.

Great for me. Love it

Wow so Amongus. The first time you were able and I didn’t have a chance I just wanted you know I love that I am here to support and support and support and support my kids I am a very good friend and a great person I will never ever again be able and I’m not gonna be a burden on anyone I just need you and I’m so thankful for that I have a lot in me that I’m willing and I will be able and able and I’m so blessed and I’m very blessed.

Thank You!. Thanks for the roll back & more visible sharps & flats & the configurable Sol La Si Do setting 🙏🙏🙏

Used this app to tune my kalimba. This app worked good to tune my kalimba but there has to be zero background noise. I have an iphone 11 and it’s true what one reviewer said about not being able to get out of this app if you don’t have a home button but if you go into the settings on this app you can then swipe it off to return to your home screen.

tune perfectly fine, I just don’t know the little belt. I just don’t know what red and green abouts. The tuneing is perfectly fine. they just need to be explaining. I don’t know if I’m dumb or something.

Records your voice. This app records your voice and you have to be as quiet as you can to see the exact note to tune, what a shame 🙁

Very good. After using 3 other tuners first - this is by far the best one, and most usable options. Great stuff!

Absolutely terrible. It is terrible and does not tune my viola.

My Favourite Tuner!. Simple. Shows all the notes, no messin around. I use it for GUITAR

Great. It works perfectly and is a big help when tuning my harp

Best. So helpful and simple!!!

Really good. I’ve tried some tuner and this is the best for me, easy to use and nice design...

What i wanted. Work perfectly, tune my entire piano with this app

Excellent. Amazing free tuner app

Great and helpful!. Good app!

Excellent App. I play a 36 string Autoharp and a 12 string guitar. This app is absolutely the best of its kind … thank you very much!

Great app!. Super!

Perfect. Even shows exact frequency number…

My favourite tuner. It does tempered settings, really great for the auto harp. Love it

Best professional tuner app. Worth paying for. Is there an update? If not, what a shame.

Top notch. Needed a tuner that lets you customize the A frequency, PanoTuner did the trick, on top of being a great little chromatic tuner.

Transposing. For some reason I am no longer able to transpose C to Eb.

Great in mid ranges. This is a great app, however at least on my small upright, the highest and lowest notes would not read clearly. Now that could also be the fault my lack of expertise adding to it, but then those notes seldom get played by a beginner and tuning is also a bit of a hearing art.

AMAIZING!. I am very passionate abbot singing, I sing almost everyday and this comes very handy. Now, yes it is meant for instruments but it is accurate it helps me to know the note I am singing, LOVE IT!

Pano tuner. Works great giant display I am using it to learn to play on the harmonica

Great. How is this free? Well done!

Love it!. Very useful tuner especially good for non-standard tunings or checking intonation.

Simplement efficace !. C’est application est bonne pour tout instrument de musique. Vous pouvez même l’essayer pour utiliser votre tonalité ou un son souhaité. Je l’utilise pour un Tanboor Kurde. Bon et précis. Merci !

Very useful. Very useful to measure the impact of humidity on my piano.

The best. I have used this app for I think over 6 years or more. It’s the best, intuitive easy tuner, i always try to aim the mic on iPhone at the instrument, for best tuning pickup.

Ye. Use t for guitar 👍

Perfect. Ut does thé job for everything

Love it!. Recommend it to all my harp students...

I have used this for over 15 years. My go to for tuning any instrument

Pano tuner. Love it, works well. The actual frequency readout is great so you can be sure of which octave you are in.

Needs home button. Does not quit on devices without a home button. So once you launch it you have to reboot your device to get out of the app.

Love it)). I use it on my iPad and it works super well))) it’s free, it’s good, I love it. ❤️

Awesome. Easy to use and free too. This is top notch!

Wow impressive. This is by far the most accurate tuner app I’ve downloaded, I use it for my cello, and the piano. I really recommend this app, for anyone that needs tuning

Very helpful for novice singers. I use this a lot to check my tuning. Very helpful!

Great App. This is an accurate and easy to use app. I love it👍

Frozen app. My app is completely frozen.😤

5 stars (free version). Great, simple, no frills

Yessss. This is an amazing app! I would strongly recommend it for guitar tuning. Works very well.

Amazing!. I prefer this tuner app to any other app or electronic tuner. It allows you to tune to perfection.

Yikes — “Houston, we’ve got a problem”. Hey Great App. Have used it for years. Recently upgraded to iPhone 11 from 6. Worked fine until yesterday. Suddenly its a bit wonky. Can’t seem to calm down and refuses to exit. Tried reinstalling app but same wonk-y-ness. Probably just a bug. I’ll stick with it because of its simplicity and accuracy. Share the Love.

Best tuner app…. I never write reviews, but this app so far has been impeccable. Instead of the usual “Okay you’re good to play!” apps that leave you 60 cents flat, this app tells you exactly what dominant frequency you’re at. After months of searching, PanoTuner is the right choice for me.

Amazing Tuner. This app makes it so easy to tune just straight from your phone that I finally don’t have an excuse to not tune while playing scales, reuses, or even songs. This has been a lifesaver ever since I got a cello with no note markers so I can actually start TRULY memorizing the topography of the cello. Thanks Pano Tuner!

Excellent App For Finding Tones, and Must Have for Atamatone Owners. I downloaded this app to find out what notes were where on an Atamatone that I recently purchased. It is an indispensable app for use with this instrument. There are only a few notes in the very lowest frequencies where it could not pick up accurately, (below 40hz). It is fun messing with resonances, and this app allows you to see the note and frequency of the sound being produced, (including the human voice)! Look at the notes of your favorite songs and see if you are on pitch while you sing along! It is a sweet app!

Love the app. I have found nothing bad about this free app and have used it for years. It looks good and works well and tunes all my string instruments. I also use it for a general pitch and key finder. I recommend this app, it is easy to use and appears to be accurate on all my string instruments.

Great, Works Well Across Very Wide Range. I’ve been using this app to tune my piano and to check my intonation for violin. Works great across the full range of the piano and has really helped me to smooth out some tendencies on violin to make certain notes too flat or too sharp. I can definitely hear the improvement!

Just get it. I use this app very regularly and have found that it is one of the best. It is easy to use with guitar, piano, bass, violin, and cello all of which I own and play. Love that it is an app on my phone so it is always with me. I own a Korg tuner and this app it always just as accurate if not better. Please keep updating it and supporting the ever changing iOS software.

Very sensitive calibration. The tuner us extremely sensitive to ambient sound, and I sometimes wish there were some control feature to modulate the jumpiness of the hz reading. That said, this is my go to tuner, not having found anything elsewhere that comes close to its accuracy. Highly recommended.

Get This Tuner. There are a few pros to having a tuner like this, for one it's easy , second it works great, third it teaches a lot and last but not least it's dynamic so it works with pretty much every instrument, even vocals. P.S it's totally free , I want to buy the app anyway just to show my respects to the engineers behind it.

app is my go to. to all interested in checking this app out, please do. I’ve been uke for a few years now and this app was where I started with my first uke to now. It’s good to have for any instrument tune wise. I only use to tune uke and guitar and I’ve never had issues. Happy tuning and get jammin

Great for the price!. My professional piano tuning software cost a whole bunch more (and is capable of much more), but this app is fabulous for other instruments and other uses. I introduced our Auditorium Manager to this app so he could tell gauge the “health” of pianos between tunings. He felt much safer, and the pianos were better maintained.

Great helper!. As a beginning fiddle player with no skill in music, this is a wonderful app for keeping my violin in tune. Before I found it, I used an “A” tuning fork and then tuned the other strings to it. But now each string can be tuned to its exact key and I am off to playing, trying to keep my fingers landing in the right spot. Very happy with the app!

Great for my sons play guitar. The app is a great tool even for the poor instrument so the sound doesn’t drive you crazy. :) Got a cheap guitar for my son to fool around with, but it was so badly out of tune I had to do something. After tuning it 14 times in a row with the app I’ve decided to get a better guitar. :)

No complaints. Easy to use, quick and accurate. I’ve been using this app for a couple of years now and it has not failed me yet. I use Snarks when gigging but if the tuners fail, I use Pano as back up. Also use it for checking and setting intonation on my basses and guitars. A very versatile tool.

All you need. Forget every other tuning app, this is the only one that you’ll need for any instrument. I use it for my guitar, bass, flute practice, and oboe. I don’t normally write reviews but I thought this was worth sharing. Have a good day, everyone.

Simple design which is good but one problem. It is possible to flip the tuner from button on the right to button on the left but it is a pain. Would be very nice if I could flip it over on the stand to face the mic the other way without having the go in to settings or it being upside down.

Of the 7 or 8 I’ve tried—the best yet!. I would imagine that each of the developers use the same (or similar) backend/audio engine… but this developer seems to have perfected the fine tuning for the user, through an excellent yet simple interface. It’s even more accurate than my Snark! Great job guys/gals!

Perfect for this beginner!. Simple. Easy to use. Probably has cool features I don’t even know about, but since I could just open the app and tune my guitar without having to “figure it out,” I’m totally happy with it. The ads are also super low key and not intrusive at all. Thanks!!

Excellent!. I use this because I don't want to buy a tuner. If you are in a similar situation you should download this app. Of course there is advertisement, the app is the lite version, but the advertisement is completely non-intrusive: it will never mess with the core function of the app.

Good. I always used those little clip on battery tuners. Along with my three guitars I have a harp that used a chromatic version which was a real pain, batteries always dead and so forth. This app is able to meet all my needs easily. Thanks so much it's so nice to get a good app for a change.

Can’t beat it for free!. My kid likes to snag my tuners so I can’t find them when needed… downloaded this just to get through but now it’s all I use. I just make sure my phone is touching the body of my guitar. It was a little whacky before I started doing that. Cheers

The one you want. This is the one you want. I am a mandolin player and forgot my tuner one weekend. I downloaded every free tuner on the market and none of them worked well and most of them only had guitar presets. This one was free and has a detailed tuning capability for every note.

So so good!. My husband is a professional musician and I am an amateur. This is perfect for both of us! He takes it on tour with him both on the iPad he uses on stage and on his phone. He put it on my phone too because he felt it would work well for me too. And he’s right!

Great app. In the past I’ve tried other tuning apps, but they just wouldn’t work. This app is so much better and just an overall relief. I use it every day when tuning and have had no problems! It’s also nice that this app is free unless you buy the pro version but, you don’t really have to in my opinion.

Grateful for tuning app. This is the app tool I’ve been using to tune my harp. The Hz rating is especially important for this instrument since there are many strings, same notes, but in different octaves. “Pop!” is the sound I don’t hear, since I’m not breaking strings. Grateful for this tuning app!

Update ruined it. This has been my tuner for years but this update is so confusing. They said they fixed the note order issue but it’s still a mess. If I play a C and it’s too low, it shows that on the lettered display, but the red or green thing is reversed from how it used to be. Now when it shows me minus ten cents, it actually means it’s ten cents sharp. Makes no sense. Getting a new tuning app.

Great Tuner!. This app is a great tuner, especially considering it's free and just an app on a phone, It's worked great for both my bass, cello, and ukulele; it also is nice when I can pull it out of my pocket at a music store and load it up to try out instruments there; the only downside would be the ads, but what can you expect from a free app? 5/5 from me!

Simple yet Perfect. There’s isn’t anything special to this app which makes it perfect. It’s exactly what it says in the title. Works great! Any small ads it has won’t bother you at all. It’s so simple to use and so long as you know what note or key you are tuning to this will do great!

Best There Is.. It's free, it's accurate, it's chromatic, it never crashes, never asks for money, never posts adds. It simply does its job and no more no less. For any instrument that makes noise. AND it has fine tuning marks (which i haven't found on any other apps) just in case you'd like to tune your guitar like James Taylor. 100%. Enough said.

Works great!!!. I use this app pretty much exclusively when I have to do an overpull tuning and it's fantastic. Then, when it's time to put the piano into a playable pitch, I use it to get it really, really close. It saves so much time before going into my laptop's TuneLab setup for final touches. I can't praise this app enough.

By far the best tuner. Amazing way of visualizing the tuning process with the slide bar. I really like that this it doesn't constrain you to a particular instrument or even any one way of tuning. I use PanoTuner with my guitar and bass and it lets me mess around all sorts of different unconventional tunings. Thanks for the bug fixes!

Great Tuner. I teach guitar and ukulele for a living and I have used many tuner apps. Some looked like they would be very accurate but turned out not to be the case. Pano tuner is very accurate and it’s even useful for voice. I’ve helped improve the pitch of their singing. I highly recommend this tuner

Always with me, always accurate, always works. Great tuner. Much better than the cheap clip on tuners. This one is always charged and ready to go. You never have to dig for it because you always have it on you. Works great with my acoustics and with my electrics. It just always works!

I can’t say enough great things about this app. I left my tuner at a friends and I tried several apps and kept saying why can’t someone just make a tuner that just works and then I found this one everything I need .

Holy fantastic. All your tuning needs in one app. I use it for every instrument. You can even change A notes from 440 if you wanted to experiment with alternate frequency tunings. Even tune your voice to commit some notes to muscle memory!

Better than the rest. I’ve tried all the other tuning apps with fancy UIs but this performs just as well if not better, and MOST importantly, you can tune your instrument any way you like without having to pay for alternate tunings. So glad I found this before paying $10(!) for this feature with guitar tuna

All Notes and Tunings. This app allows you to tune any string, to any note, at any time. No messing around with choosing a tuning before you start tuning. It picks up the note that you're giving off and it's simple as that's. I can tune to anything whenever I want and don't have to buy these stupid extra packages like most of the 'free' tuning apps on the AppStore.

It stopped working???. I have used this app everyday for 3 years. I am in band in high school so I tune a lot. All of a sudden, after years with no problems, the app is crashing. Sometimes it will say it can't reach my microphone while other times it will simply crash. Please fix this. This is the only tuner I know and we've been through a lot

Best one. I have tried to worth three tuning apps before this one and then discovered this one four years ago. It is perfect! And I used to carry around a stroboscopic tuner which, in its box, was with very big and very heavy. Oh and the stroboscope took a couple minutes to warm up before it was accurate. And was about four months rent! This app is perfect!!!

The good stuff. I use this all the time. Visibility is good. the add thing at the top isn't intrusive. Its been working for many ipad generations. I use it for MANY different instruments. its very good for voice and helps me work on vocal tuning. rt now using it to tune a bass...

Love it!. I had to download this for band and was immediately amazed! My flute sounded so much better after using this! My only problem is that it focuses on ALL sounds not just one main sound closetest to the phone... But overall great!! 🤪

versatile and easy to use. I like this chromatic tuner quite a bit. Not only good for my guitars and other instruments, it is equally useful for alternate tunings, and for different actual note frequencies (like an A that needs to be 438 Hz instead of 440 Hz). The interface is very easy to use, and can track even unstable notes such as my voice. :-)

Better that mine. I have been playing harp for a little over 6 years. It's hard to find a tuner that focuses more on the note I'm playing rather than the undertones. This app is doing just that. My teacher suggested it to me saying it sometimes works better than her $500 tuner. I love it and I definitely suggest trying this app.

Great App!. PanoTuner was completely free so I expected it to have a LOT of ads, but the ads never annoyed me! The ads don’t ever force me to download the app again or restart the app. I use PanoTuner to tune my violin and ukulele and it works great every time. I’ve never had a issue with it and I would totally recommend!

Great tool. My only complaint is the way the pitch is displayed- it seems opposite what you’d expect. A needle or just a numeric display would be preferable, since those of us who grew up using real tuners are more used to that. It’s a very minor complaint given how well this tuner works, however when you are on stage and tuning in a hurry with other distractions the display can be slightly frustrating.

Pretty good. Love the way it works, just doesn’t do to well for me if I just pluck it. It will mostly just pick up the first sound that the string makes, but after those few seconds, it’ll dip down. Plus, sometimes it’ll be a little too sensitive with background noises , but works well overall.

Bought the Paid version and Now use both. Used this app for multiple years now. Bought the paid app once I started tuning in just intonation. I keep the paid one for alternate tunings (just intonation, etc.) and use the free one for all equal temperament. Stellar, simple tuner. So now I have both and they’re GREAT!

Fantastic. I was looking for a fast, easy to read, simple and accurate tuner for my guitars. A surprise plus was that you can use it to quickly get the key of a recording playing in the background and even see if your vocal is on key. Very versatile product without having to look through an oscilloscope.

Was good, but not anymore. A recent update turned this app to garbage. The original version was fast and twitchy, but very responsive. The new version has a slow refresh rate, which makes it nearly useless for instrument tuning. You have to wait for a reading and change tuning in small increments. The Hz readout is also slow, but at least it’s useful as an engine tachometer (multiply Hz by 30 or 60)

I’ve had this app more than half my life now. I downloaded this app in 5th grade, I’m 21 now and I’ve never not had it. It’s my favorite tuning app and always has been. I’ve had lots of others with way more features but this one still beats them. 10 stars out of 5 from me.
