NOT user-friendly.. Very poor design and NOT user friendly. The app is not smooth at all. The rewards are not redeemable when you have credit added to your account. You can’t choose to pay with cash through the app (paying in store when you get there like you can with the Domino’s app). If you have added credit to your account, you can’t choose to save your credit and pay with your credit card at checkout. The app forces you to use your credit on the account. And even though you’re a member it will still charge you the $1 to upsize on Friday when it’s supposed to be free for members. If you have selected a “favorite” location, it still makes you search and click that location all over again every time before ordering. Many things to fix this app. I wish smoothie king would use the same developers as Chik-Fil-A or Domino’s for their app. It would make for a better customer experience!

UX tweak needed. If a particular smoothie king doesn’t allow tipping through the app the option shouldn’t be available. Compounding this UX issue, any coupons that were selected are then “removed” so it is necessary to exit the checkout screen and go back to the coupon selection screen - where it shows the coupons are still selected!!! Then user must go back to the order screen (order is still in cart) and only then the coupons are applied. Also if tips aren’t accepted an error message is generated, yet the user is required to manually remove the tip percentage amount. One more thing - this location does actually accept tips n credit cards IN PERSON, but not when ordering through the app…

No way to get refund. I purchased 2 smoothies on the app on August 3, 2021. Not even 5 minutes after I placed my order I received a phone call from the store I would be picking up my smoothies from. I was advised the ingredients needed to make my smoothies were unavailable until the afternoon. The person on the phone asked if I wanted a refund and I said yes. I was advised the refund would be in my account in 3 to 5 business days. It’s August 12th and still no refund. I have also called the store and then was given a corporate number. I have yet to hear from anyone. I have left several voicemails and emailed using the app. Save your time and money and just order from somewhere else!

Clinton, MS Location. I recommend sending a shopper to the Clinton MS location. The never have the ingredients for the smoothie bowls. It always has this sort of odor in there I can’t describe. I placed an order online, get to the store and no bowl. I was greeted, it’s a friday and HAVE to have my bowls every morning. When. I was told there were no ingredients I didn’t get ask if I wanted something else, or offered my points, NOTHING! Not only I had to wait until Monday to get my money back because the manager did not know how to process refunds. I know this is not the way Smoothie Kings take care of business. I know this because my family love Smoothie King. I will not return to that location or recommend anyone to go there.

Can only order one….. I find the app overall convenient, as long as I’m only ordering for myself. Unfortunately, I have two daughters who also love smoothies, and one of them loves the smoothie I order. The app does not allow me to order more than 1 of any type of smoothie. For example, I enter a 32 oz smoothie for myself and add to cart. I go back to add another of the same type of smoothie in another size and I’m only given the option to update my original order for that type of smoothie. I can’t order an additional one. So my 32 becomes a 20. I can only order multiples of exactly the same thing. My 10 year old doesn’t need a 32 oz Hulk Smoothie. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Would love to see this corrected so that I don’t have to do multiple orders. At the moment, I was wanting to order for delivery since I just had surgery, but it will require 2 orders- and only one of them will meet the delivery threshold.

New app design makes it actively difficult to buy smoothies.. When this app updated to its new design, it did not carry over any of my information, even after logging back in. I lost my rewards, gift card, and “recently ordered” option. I order the same thing on the same day every week which used to be incredibly simple and only required hitting a couple buttons. Now, I have to scroll through ad after ad for their newest smoothies that I do not want to find the only thing on the menu that I care about. Then, since the app no longer saves my information, I have to re-type in payment info every time. Because I have an older phone, the screen sizing is wrong and there are some buttons within the app that I can’t even click. I used to frequently order from my local smoothie king, as it was one of the only things I could muster the appetite to eat in the morning, but now I have not ordered from smoothie king in about a month because every time I try, I get frustrated and run out of time before I have to leave for work. The only reason I can think that the app changed was to make us sift through more menu options in hopes that we will spend more money, but it had the complete opposite effect for me.

Nice app but some additional features would be nice. It’s a nice easy app to use but I wish it had voice control or ability to use Siri or microphone to put in order in app or Siri capability to say hey siri order whichever product with whatever enhancers etc at whatever location. I have to pull over after leaving home to put the order in because i leave home before my closest location opens so the app won’t let you enter the order before the location opens.

Needs Nutritional Info. I recently downloaded the Smoothie King app and I must say, it has been a game-changer for me. The app is easy to use and navigate, making it simple to order my favorite smoothies on the go. The option to customize my order is fantastic and the app stores my previous orders for even quicker ordering. One minor suggestion I have is that the nutritional information for the smoothies should be added to the app. Currently, users need to visit the Smoothie King website to view this information, which can be inconvenient. Having this information easily accessible in the app would be a great addition and would make it easier for users to make informed decisions about their orders.

Free Friday upsize a lie!. I order the 20oz smoothie everyday, for $6.79. So on Fridays, the ‘ free upsize’ should also be $6.79 for a 32oz. Nope! Every Friday, I’m charged $9.28 the price of a 32oz smoothie! What happened to the free upsize? Why am I never charged the same price for the 32oz that I pay for the 20oz on Fridays?? I ask the clerks, they have no idea! Or they tell me if u use your app it comes off. Well I use my app, and $2.00 comes off, but it still isn’t the price of a 20oz!! This’ free Friday upsize’ is a lie & a scam to get customers to spend more money! Very disappointed on Fridays!

Works well, though mild bugs. Always works and easy to use, though it would be more convenient if you could look at and toggle rewards while ordering and not just at the main home screen. When looking at rewards, you have to wait for the animation to stop in order to browse rewards. When customizing, you someone's have to collapse/expand the sub-menu in order to make a selection. Past Orders only shows one or two instead of the last several, and not always the most recent orders. All that being said, I use it at least 1x/week with ease, now that I know how it behaves with all of the above...

This app is so bad. Months of frustration with this app led me to write this review so hopefully they can make some changes. I get Smoothie King weekly because I love it, and the idea of having a rewards system and ordering ahead is awesome, especially since the location closest to me always seems to be running very slowly. But every time I use the app I get various errors that oftentimes don’t make sense. The app only remembers my past orders sometimes, which in theory is not hard because I get the same thing every time. But when it does remember and I select re-order, it tells me the store has a different menu or the pick up time is unavailable. Additionally, unless I have blazing fast internet wherever I’m ordering from, the load time from screen to screen is abhorrent. Please make this app better.

Review. I love the staff at the Smoothie King I go to. They are friendly and professional. Although, the Corporate office of where they control rewards point for the loyalty program is a scam. I have asked for a live person to call me and explain why my points keep being taken away. I should be at Champion status by now, but they prevent this from happening. Do not worry, I am going to post my e-mails I have sent on the IG page. You may discredit me of what is rightfully mine, but I will not let you get us all.

Easy but in need of one thing!. It’s an easy app to use with lots of great options. Smoothie King is always my go-to smoothie place. The ONLY thing with the app I would say is, sometimes it’s difficult to navigate back from your basket to do something and then find your way back to your basket. It would be better to have the basket symbol in the top right corner at all times so wherever you are on the app, you can always get quick, easy access back to your basket. Apart from that, it’s great.

Missing a couple of items. Overall the app is great and easy to use, but it’s missing a few things which would make it excellent. The app needs a search function to be able to easily find a smoothie that’s on the menu, instead of having to scroll through all the options. Secondly, it would be great to see how many points you are getting with each transaction in the app. It’s nice to be able to put an exact number on that. Also, the app has lately been telling me that the location closest to me is closed when I am trying to place an order. This only happens on Sunday, and I am trying to order around lunch time, well before closing time. The employees at the store have no idea what is causing this.

Terrible Rewards System, Good for only Ordering Ahead. The app says that if you order through the app you get points. The points are automatically used and you don’t get to choose when to use them. On top of that, the points are used on coupons that you can never use. The life span of that coupon as soon as you unlock is the literal time you unlock it. Let’s say you order at 3:27 pm through the app, if you have enough points it “gives” you a 2$ off your next order which expires 3:27pm that exact same day. Don’t expect to use their reward system except if you want them to spam your email with promotions even if you have achieved their “Champion” status. All it’s good for is it’s main purpose of ordering ahead.

Need to change location. The app defaults to the location closest to my house, even though it is in a shopping mall that is not open when I leave my house in the morning. I have never ordered something from the mall location. Yet, every time I want to place an order, that location appears and I have to change the location. The app is also slow and I often get a message saying try again. It is frustrating to use this app.

Great way to skip the line. The app is pretty easy to navigate and begin working with quickly. Make sure to check to see if your rewards are toggled on (red bar not gray) before ordering. Some items don’t seem to be available to add using the app (I.e. sweet strawberries) but otherwise a great way to order and pay. All that’s left is walking in to pick up order. Just remember it still takes some time to actually make the smoothie, so don’t order in the parking lot and expect it to be ready in like 2 mins. I order when I leave the gym and by the time I get to my store (usually 5 mins) it is ready.

New app update is awful. I picked up an order and was told I had to update my app to receive the points. They said I could upload my receipt within 48 hours once my app was updated. After not being able to sign in with my old account, I tried the “I forgot my password” method several times and never received an email to reset it. I eventually gave up and created an entirely new account, abandoning all my previously earned points, and it still won’t let me sign in. I have verified my email, restarted the app and my phone, redownloaded the app, and still nothing. All my points are gone and I can’t even login to the app to start over. It’s incredibly frustrating.

App Stinks. This seriously has to be one of the worst ordering apps out there. I use apps to order ahead all the time and have never encountered a more confusing and dysfunctional one than the smoothie king app. Its just backward and so annoying trying to sctually order something. Take notes from Dunkin, Starbucks etc. as to how to properly design a functional spp. My biggest complaint is even as simple as not being able to use money on my gift card along with a healthy reward coupon . . . seriously. Its almost like they are trying to get me to not buy smoothie king. Shouldn be this difficult to design a well thought out, organized app. So frustrating.

Rewards. When trying to access $2 discounts you have to swipe up to take advantage of the offer. The app does not allow me access to this feature. Therefore I am unable to get the $2 discount. I am a Regular customer and it is frustrating not to be able to use the feature. The staff has tried to help but were not successful. Management apparently does not know how to access the reward and refuse to give me credit. I’ve asked for help through email. The answer did not tell me how to unlock it. I have tried to delete the app and repurchase the app. I have turned my Iphone off several times. My efforts have been in vain. I Am Not Happy!

Worst Food Ordering App Out. This app has been getting progressively worse for the past 4 months. It’s slower everytime I use it. It’s now to the point where I can’t even use it. I just spent 15+ minutes trying to order through the app, but I had no success. The app does things like taking forever to go to the next page once you click on something, getting stuck in the loading phase, kicks me out of the app, or when I get to checkout, it sends back an error message. The app needs to be reviewed, edited, & updated. I haven’t been able to order on the app because of these problems for the past 5 weeks.

Messy. Messy.. Man I really love going to Smoothie King. Huge servings and everything I need being for options. But this app? A tragedy. The rewards? Never seen em. The website says I’ve spent over $60-70 in the last month or so but the app says they’re excited for my first purchase?! Not that I care that much about rewards but considering I only like to get 40 oz drinks it’d be nice to actually accumulate some anyways - since it is promoted. I don’t even know how this can be fixed. The app itself freezes any time I try order on it so I can’t even test it I’ll get purchases counted via the app. So overall it is trash and I’m going to test out Tropical Smoothie app to see if it’s better. They don’t offer as large of options I prefer but false advertising ain’t cool.

Can order when store hasn’t actually opened. This issue is over an year old. There are other reviews about this. You can place an order when the store is suppose to be open but the employees haven’t arrived yet. You show up to pick up your order and no one is there. And to add to the hassle, the store can not issue you a refund and the app will not issue you a refund. You have to go back to the store when it is open and prove what happen. This has happened twice to me. It is a major flaw with this app. I gave two stars because it is awesome when it works but an major inconvenience when it does not work.

Pretty convenient. App is pretty easy to use, and quick, and I use it a lot. But on this last order, it only had one order in my order history. Where did all my orders go? Also, I may be missing a step, but I’d like if it would know that I always go to the same location, so I don’t have to keep choosing the location every time. It took me a while to learn how to use my rewards. They made it more obvious and it helped. I really like that I can choose to sub things in my smoothie.

App and Website Userface Glitchy/Incomplete. I would give five stars as my mom loved her smoothie-strawberry banana with electrolyte supplement but, the company’s online and app userface is subpar. I installed the app after purchase and the FAQ says you can get credit for rewards points with a receipt but, there’s no option in the drop down as was mentioned in the FAQ. Also, I went to buy a gift card through the website and the link wouldn’t work. These are issues for the next upgrade bug fix, I suppose.

Devs and UI Designers Should Be Fired. This app has a number of unaddressed bugs, a difficult to use user interface, and missing features. Who designed this mess? 1. Bug: When adding a previous order and removing a single item from the order the item removed is incorrect resulting in my order being fulfilled incorrectly by the store. 2. Features: There should be a way to save favorite drinks and orders in this app. There is no way to do that. It barely remembers what I ordered last time. Sometimes that doesn’t even work. Modifying a previous order results in incorrect order fulfillment (see above). 3. Design: The UI is atrocious and slow. This app always asks to find the nearest store. It should remember my favorite stores and not have to start over. It requires too many button presses to get to a product selection. The color scheme of the product options is horrible and takes me 5 minutes to find one Ingredient in the myriad of options. Starbucks knows how to design product customization options. Please use them or Chipotle as a model to design a good UI. Fix the confusing color scheme in the product customization list. Also there are ingredients that the store has that are not listed in the smoothie product options (e.g., raspberry). I summary, please fix this app. I can’t believe anyone even uses it. It’s incredibly frustrating and wastes my money by ordering the wrong thing!

Absolutely corrupt. I’ve been going to smoothie king for several months now since one opened up just a stone’s throw from us. Yesterday the girl at the counter was shocked when she found out that I hadn’t received any of my rewards points. She realized the other girls hadn’t showed me how to use the app when I came in, but then she went above and beyond what the others had done to show me how to take the receipts I had and go back in the app and manually enter the receipts to earn those points. We did that. Then today I receive and email that basically says “Sorry, we were unable to process your submission for the rewards points.” When dealing with an underhanded company, I’d expect it. I didn’t expect it here, but I’m going to assume that smoothie king had nothing to do with this. Instead it is whoever created the app. So, your corrupt or incompetent actions (has to be one or the other) just cost smoothie king quite a bit of business as I’ll now take our business (as well as my company’s business) down the street to your competitor’s establishment. Too bad the designers of this app don’t work as hard as that young lady at the counter yesterday. She was truly impressive, unlike your app’s capabilities.

Worst app ever. This is by far the worst app I have ever used. I have used it countless times over the past two years. It is extremely slow to pull up the main menu. It rarely remembers my past orders. If it does remember my past orders there’s only one or two past orders that appear. If I click to order again multiple times it tells me that the menu item has changed and I need to re-add from the menu. To which I order the exact same thing - no menu item changes. If I am able to add a previous order then I am unable to make any changes - say remove a smoothie or add fruit or whatever. Today I only had one previous order showing. I added it to cart and in the cart I tried to remove one of the two smoothies that were from my previously order. “Error. The merchant has updated their menu Please re-add your items before continuing”. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. I don’t know why I keep coming back to it and really not sure how this app gets 4.8 stars.

Has Potential to Be a Must-Have App. I love the design of this app, but there are a few areas that fall short for me. 1. The reward system itself doesn’t drive consumer loyalty. Smoothie King needs stronger incentives. 2. Emailed offers (which begin to arrive in your inbox after you’ve registered on the app) do not include instructions on how to redeem the promotion. I supposedly have a free 20 oz smoothie calling my name… how do I claim it? And what would prevent me from showing the cashier the same email over and over if there are no disclaimers or fine print? 3. Most frustrating of all is not being able to schedule an advance order during closed hours. I have to place my order during my commute if I want my order to be ready to pick up on my way to work in the morning, which is highly inconvenient. I love Smoothie King. I see value in an app rewarding customers for their loyalty and the ability to pick up your order without the wait. And the smoothies are delicious and nutritious enough to keep me coming back. For now I only plan to use the app to have an in-depth look at the menu as needed. If a few tweaks were made to strengthen the overall functionality, this would be a must-have app.

Pickup option great. Delivery option terrible.. I put an order in for delivery because I’m not feeling well and COVID has me feeling like a hypochondriac every time I sniffle. 10 min before my order was due to deliver, their delivery partner called me and it was clear the store had no details of my order because I had to give it to her over the phone all over again. Then she was out of ingredients which was extremely frustrating to find out 45 min later... Other restaurants and delivery apps seem perfectly able to say when an item is out? I thought this would be cool bc I could at least keep my points but it’s a hot mess, from now on I’ll just use this for pickup.

Discounts NOT GREAT…here’s why!. I use your mobile app out of convenience to order ahead. I saw a discount that was ‘Buy 2 get the 3rd one free’ with some minor stipulations as to the size of the smoothies. The discount was to expire the next day so i wanted to order for me and 2 others. Followed all the stipulations to get the discount of the 3rd smoothie to be free and it did not come out as free. I instead got the lower discounts applied to my order instead of the better discount/deal being applied to my order. If this is how you have people use your app you should not be offering a 3rd smoothie for free deal. A value that is much greater than the other deals that were applied to my order! While on my way to the store I called the store and asked them to cancel my order just so i can re-order without any other deals applied. The employee told me it didn’t even pop on her screen yet and she already had 5 orders ahead of me and i would have to wait 15-20 minutes before she could even cancel my order. I got to the store and she said she had not had the chance to cancel the order yet so i waited inside the store. Again, the inconvenience of it all because your app does not apply the best deal first. What should have been maybe 10 minutes was more like 30 minutes because of the wait and hassle of the app.

Worst client experience for relaunch of app. Poorly tested app, preventing customers access back into app. Must delete old app and lose your existing pw for starters. Cannot use pw recovery on site, app never sends new link and no it’s not in your trash or junk bucket. Could not use my existing email to create a new acct b/c it was already used. Spent 3 weeks deleting app and reinstalling trying to try to get back in. Time is money for me and standing in line isn’t an option so SK lost sales. Developers provide no instructions to work around their poorly tested launch. Finally today (6th install) it would allow me to use my email to create an account. Thank goodness these fools didn’t lose my acquired points etc like I was expecting for going through the new acc setup. However the $3 coupon that was presented to me today didn’t work. Hey SK, find a better developer.

The worst app I have ever encountered. I have never been so frustrated with an app that I spent the time to actually give it a negative review but this one has earned it. For weeks each time I go to order through the app loading takes so long on the screens to load my location, menu, review my order that I will sit there for minutes and eventually the app will just crash or I have to hard close it over and over to get these loading screens to eventually work on my very fast connection. Today I spent over 20 minutes trying to get an order to go through and never could after attempting to hard close the app and even restart my phone many times. Eventually tried to redownload the app entirely and even though got back into my account just fine suddenly I lost my reward for my free 20oz smoothie. I enjoy smoothie king but the app has been so consistently terrible for such a long time I don’t know that I will continue business.

Pleasantly Surprising!. I drove past the local smoothie king every day for FIVE years before my husband and I decided to stop in. No regrets! We started out with the Pineapple Smoothies - SO good! One order we picked up the wrong order - it was the Hulk Chocolate…one sip and my husband was in love. He orders them once a week. My favorites are Pumpkin, Hulk Chocolate, Matcha, and Angel Food. Really, you can’t go wrong…they have a flavor for everyone and they’re all incredible! If you download the app you’ll get points for every order - the points add up to $2.00 coupons. The best part is they let you use as many $2.00 coupons towards one purchase as you want. For example: My husband and I went a little Smoothie King crazy for a few months and built up six $2.00 coupons. I was able to apply all of them to an order and get our smoothies for free! Love Smoothie King! Recommend them to everyone!

New App Upgrade is Horrible!. I have had so many issues with the new app that it’s so irritating, and I’ve lost a lot of money on my visits over it. I go to Smoothie King every single day and spend at least $25 and I am unable to order my usual smoothie that I get, it says unavailable on the app and then it’s available in the store so I can’t order ahead. I also am unable to load my rewards from before. I also lost all my rewards when they updated it, and then it says these rewards are only available in certain times and that hasn’t been the case if I order at the window. There’s just been so many problems with it, and now I keep having to order at the window and lose rewards. It’s typically wouldn’t matter and I’m not a cheap person but when you go every day somewhere and spend thousands of dollars I would expect at least to get a little bit out of it. I’m VERY disappointed, I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be a customer.

App. needs work, bigtime.. I like Smoothie King quite a bit, but I find the app. quite complicated and unintuitive to use. Number 1) there is no “Cart” button. There have been so many times I started an order, went back to look at the selection of Smoothies, and then couldn’t figure out how to get to the Cart! Number 2) I once selected to reorder an old order from the app. I hit the submit button and nothing happened that indicated I made the order (i.e. no confirmation or e-mail). I checked the order history and didn’t see anything. I subsequently manually entered the order in the app. and subsequently received an e-mail confirmation for my manually entered order. When I showed up at the store, there were 2 orders with my name on it. Long story short, the “reorder” was from a previous web order, which picked up on the app. I tried to explain the situation to the store clerk who didn’t know what to say. I showed her my pending credit card transactions, one of which was “Smoothie King” and the other which showed “Level up Smoothie King”, both of which was done through the app.! I decided it really wasn’t her fault the app. is terrible so I just took the $40 worth of Smoothies when I only wanted $20 worth of Smoothies! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Ordering Online. I enjoy the convenience of ordering online and I definitely enjoy the smoothies. The ease of selecting an item online in the contactless pick up is wonderful. However, I think when a customer orders online they should get their orders before someone that walks in afterwards. Case in point, I placed an online order while sitting in the parking lot. Then, a few minutes later, I watched a customer go inside to the counter and place their order and they received their order before I did. This is happened to me on two separate occasions. Once I went inside to let the employees know that I was waiting on an online order they appear to prioritize things at that time.

REFUNDS WAS NEVER GIVEN BACK. I tried doing a delivery order and was never followed up with the situation of the store in my area. Which was they where on low on staff, but my ordered was confirm. We waited almost 3 hours for door dash to take our ordered but to call and say they never had our ordered after we called again and ask what happened when the delivery driver said it was coming. (Then cancel ordered) Instructions on smoothie king app says to call the store. We have called multiple times and finally but nobody picked up. Finally we decided to drive to the stores location but to realize they had a sign that they are open but we have to “order online due to low staff”. We are stuck in the situation of not being able to communicate with the store. In person and through phone. Because the front store was lock. We emailed our situation through smoothie king website. They have followed with our situation and have ask for our confirmation ordered but they have not given our refund back. I use to work in food and beverage, including smoothie king. Taking online orders can should have a cancellation button but they just take your money and left you on read for weeks

SO MANY BUGS. This is the buggiest food app I have ever used, and it’s been like this for years! The app has just continuously sucked and it makes so difficult to order. One time my points in the app went down to -50 after I used a reward. The cart section of the app is where most of the trouble is. God forbid you try to add two different sizes of the same smoothie to your cart, the user literally has to figure out a workaround for things like that. And if you manage to get those two different sized smoothies in your cart, good luck making any changes. The app does not properly register which smoothie your are editing, and will apply your changes to a different smoothie. I frequently will have two small hulks and one medium hulk in my cart, will try to delete the medium hulk, and the app will delete my two smalls instead. That’s a regular occurrence for me and has caused me to order incorrectly or order more than I needed. This app is seriously infuriating to use.

Location Issues. I ordered using the new update after having no issues at all with the old update and location. I made the order sitting in the parking lot of the Smoothie King I desired to go , And it sent it to the wrong location. I figured that time that I had made a mistake, so the second time that I placed an order, I made absolutely sure on the map and with the address that I was ordering at the correct location. The exact same thing happened. They are 4 miles apart so it’s not very hard to distinguish the two locations, so I am sure at this point it’s not a personal issue.

One of the Best around!. This is definitely one of the best Smoothie Kings around. I have been coming here for a few years now. Not only is the staff friendly and always on their A-Game, they work diligently together to keep the customer happy! Oh and they are one of the few stores to get my complicated Vegan Mango Kale smoothie right, this is why I will literally travel from any part of town to come here. And let me not forget the manager Savannah who is a complete sweetheart.

Miss the old app…I have feedback. Not a fan of the new app. When ordering, you have to scroll through all the categories to find what you want. In the old app you could search by name of smoothie. It was so much faster. The old app also let you store multiple payment methods. Finally, it was easier to find different Smoothie King locations on the map in the old app. The new app is a downgrade in my book. It’s also glitchy. in a few weeks, I’ve had the new app, I have gotten frustrated with it, given up, and foregone ordering. If the app was more user-friendly, I would have made several more purchases lately. I’m a champion rewards member, so I do get SK pretty regularly, and this is all just annoying.

Snatch your Tummy Back !. I LOVE the Smoothie King app ! It remembers my last order and offers discounts. It easy to use and saves your card—which is excellent if you have resistance to healthy eating! Sometimes you need to hack yourself. I don’t have to take long to think about placing the order. The smoothies are delicious and within 1 week of replacing 1 meal with smoothie per day (40day Challenge), I noticed my mid section decrease, less bloating and stomach cramps, and I feel lighter and more energetic. This is my replacement for the bad fast food joints. Thanks Smoothie King!

Absolutely not a 4.9 out of 5. I find a very hard to believe that this app has that many great reviews. It has, for years, been the worst app I have to endure on my phone. Most of the time when I went to open it it says I need a new password even though my password, for it has been saved in my password keeper. That happens a lot! I lost all my rewards, because there was a graphic over the button that prevented me from claiming them. And add insult to injury, apparently they’ve made changes and you can’t even search for what you want on the menu. You have to scroll through every Flippin item until you find what you’re looking for. I don’t know who hired these IT people, but you’re not getting your moneys worth.

Good app, worth the rewards. Weird glitch though. Love this app, it’s a real necessity if you Iike smoothie king, you save a bunch of money and the process for getting a smoothie is made much faster. However, since this new app has come out, I cannot place an order for pickup due to a weird glitch where it keeps saying I can’t place an order because my reward isn’t valid…but I didn’t even have any rewards to redeem. I tried erasing and restarting the order, restarting the app, trying multiple times, nothing worked. So for now, I have to get a smoothie, save up rewards so I can do a pickup. Real bummer.

STOP SHOWING SO MANY ADS!!!. Does the app function? Yes, sometimes it is down or is so slow it’s better to just go to the store and order but the big issue for me is the ads that pop up. For example, I was in the middle of an order and suddenly that was interrupted with an ad for Smoothie day, which kicked me back out into the main menu. Every few seconds I would have another ad pop up for a different smoothie deal and then get kicked back to the first page. Just have a banner on the first screen.

Order Ahead Option Only Good When People Show Up For Work. I wonder if openers could have the ability to switch on the app when they are ready to start taking orders. I’ve found out the hard way (a few times) that you can order and pay ahead and then show up to a closed store. Smoothie King won’t refund in these situations so you go on to purchase another breakfast somewhere else, double dipping your emergency breakfast fund and putting you behind schedule. Then you have to go back another time and explain the situation and find proof that you ordered them, totally putting the burden on the customer because someone didn’t show up for their shift a week ago. I gave 3 stars bc it is super convenient when it works AND when the employees unlock the door so you can come in and pick up your online order rather than waiting in the car line as if you didn’t order ahead.

Annoying ‘features’ in this app. The app remembers my favorite store but I have to select it and then confirm it each and every time. I’m sure there is a reason but it is annoying when trying to quickly order. Also, the fact that there is a heading ‘Past Orders’ and it is ALWAYS blank or empty for me is crazy. For a while I was ordering through the app weekly and the same two things every time. Yet the app doesn’t keep track, then removed the heading. The app is also a bit slow compared to other apps once you’ve place the order, waiting for it to actually accept the order. Some work needs to be done in my opinion.

The app has multiple broken features.. I’ve been using this app for more than two years now and quite honestly it’s a pretty terrible Interface. Let’s start with the fact that It can’t remember any mobile order that I’ve ever made. It did it one time but now it’s just stopped. That feature hasn’t worked for a while. Also, what’s up with the two QR codes? One is to pay, earn reward and points. The other is just to earn rewards and points. That’s pretty dumb. Lastly, the app gives you the option to connect Apple Pay but it doesn’t work. Whenever you do a mobile order you can’t actually use Apple Pay to fulfill it. For the love of Pete please fix this app. I love your products but in all honesty your app is really, really terrible.

Terrible App. Always gives me errors that the ‘network is down’. Nearly every day I can’t do something on this app. Today’s frustration was when trying to submit feedback about my order experience, I got an error that the network was down. I tried 10 times to submit feedback using WiFi and cellular. I’ve been using this app nearly every day for 6 months, performance has gone down hill. Also will randomly erase my order history so I have to manually build my smoothie again instead of simply reordering.

Suddenly ordering doesn’t work. I used to use the app to order ahead but lately (last 2 or so months) I keep getting an error message when I try to place my order. Error messages are generally that “something” happened, the location is or about to close (@ 12 - 4pm ?), or the location doesn’t allow tipping. Even after setting the tip at zero it gives another error. At first I thought it was the particular location where my mom lives but I have the same problems at the locations near me. Please fix the app.

Checkout experience changed mid checkout. i feel like i just entered card info into a phishing site that harvests credit card info because the first time i try and checkout the Ui was minimal, and asked for my password and didn’t have apple pay as an option. after putting in card info i got an invalid password message and then the card details view didn’t load. hit the back button and, of a sudden, the checkout UI is as expected, apple pay and all. y’all better not have had some vulnerability that allowed someone to do some XSS shenanigans in your “mobile” (c’mon) app. ‘s a webapp in an app container don’t try and pull a fast one on me

Painfully frustrating app and awful rewards system. Using this app is like potty training a toddler, takes forever to connect to the system and customize an order, then to have my cart lost time and time again after it takes 5+ minutes to try and add an order to the cart. Then I try to pay and no location is found and no items in my cart over and over again. Far behind industry standards in terms of IS, app development, and rewards systems. This is my opinion however, as I see many positive reviews for this app.

Amnesia over past orders. I order the same thing no fewer than three times a month through the app, and only one time has ever brought up a “past order”. Every other single time it says I have no past orders. Not the biggest deal, but typically I’m ordering in a rush and have to take time to stop and put my order.

Review from a healthcare worker’s perspective. I have been using the app for awhile now and I believe it works very well! I do however recommend adding the ability to put a name label on an item for big orders. I also believe it would be beneficial to have the details of the calories built into the app for all the smoothies regarding macros and possibly electrolytes. Other than that, the app works wonders and I will continue to use it.

Disappointed!!!. What’s up with app? I used to could do everything! Now I can no longer order 20oz drink, I can’t chose my extras….fruit, Heath enhancers, veggies, anything to be added. If you are limiting me because you are giving me “points” that never seem to add up to much and expire quickly, then keep them. App needs work. The Smoothie King mobile app is very clunky and too many steps are needed every time someone orders. Why don’t you all have favorite locations set up so you can quickly access the location you go to on the regular? And when you say you want to order at that location it should go straight to order now instead of having to then select order now. There are multiple steps in the process that should be a eliminated to make the user experience quicker. you should also include a custom option for tips.

Unable to add receipts or sub ingredients. Used to be able to add purchases from receipts that didn’t scan app. I went thru a drive thru and spent over $40 on smoothies in one trip and the cashier said she couldn’t scan for my points thru drive thru but I can add the receipt to my profile and get points. Unfortunately this is not true. Adding purchase after the fact to get the points no longer exist. Think I will check out Tropical Smoothie and see if they have better app/program. In regards to subbing ingredients, it will be a great benefit to be able to sub or remove certain ingredients for people with food allergies.

Not so ”smooth”. I used the app to order a smoothie for curbside pick up but it didn't work out very ”smoothly”. After arriving at the location, I called (several times) as per instructions but no one answered. I finally left my vehicle, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid due to an injury, and went inside to pick up my order. When I started to drink it I noticed it had melted so much that it was more juice than smoothie. Overall a very unsatisfactory experience at this particular Smoothie King location.

Just not that good. The app only remembers your order by location. So if you want to order the same thing at another location you need to go through the menu to do it. You can't have favorites for reordering either. If you look up the items on the website the name of the items doesn't always match what is on the menu for ordering. These things are not difficult.

Clunky. While it’s much more convenient to order from the app to avoid a long time to blend, the app often gets stuck and spends, for you getting notices that the menu has changed and you have to reload previous orders. It often takes 10 minutes to place an order for two smoothies, which is about how long it takes to have two smoothies blended in person and not use the app.

JJC. I have enjoyed the app; getting the rewards and ordering online because I like to just hop in to get it!! The only problem I have is when I don’t order ahead I have to be scanned without app taking payment. It works sometimes and a lot of times not. The staff is also great, always pleasant and helpful. My favorite drink is the green tea tango with banana. It’s my lunch every day and it lasts for me until dinner 😋

Hardly Ever Works. This app is always messed up, and there are always issues with online ordering. I haven’t been able to place an order for the past several days because the “system” has been offline. Today I can’t place an order because “32 oz. in ‘Choose Your Size’ … is only available from Midnight on Thursday to Midnight on Friday.” It’s Friday morning now … Also, I’m not even trying to use the “Free Upsize Friday” coupon, which by the way wouldn’t apply to my order last Friday either. Even though I was overcharged last week at least I could place an order. Fix the bugs. You lost out on over $100 from me this week.

Need the Search feature!!. Not a fan of the new app. While I generally know what I want to order, I was trying to order for a friend as well. She wanted something with peach. I cannot find a way to search like I used to be able to. the different categories are the only way to look at the menu and I don’t know what “category” a drink is in. And scrolling through each of those is frustrating. I should be able to type “peach” or “hulk” etc to find what I need. Please put the search feature back in!!!!

Only ONE improvement in my opinion.. The app doesn’t have a place for comments. I always order the strawberry peanut power plus. It contains dates and if it is not blended really well they are still whole in the cup. I currently have braces and when the dates are not blended up the pain when they got my teeth is not fun. So, when I order online I have to call to ask them to double blend my smoothie. It would just be easier if I could make a come when I’m ordering my smoothie instead of calling everyday.

Convenient and easy. Love using the app! It’s super easy to use and always quick and convenient. I order my smoothie on the way and all I have to do is walk in and pick it up! Always ready, exactly as ordered, and delicious with no waiting in line! Also, I automatically get my reward points through the app and get free money towards future smoothies! Win win!

Horrible app, don’t use. I have attempted to place orders at different locations of Smoothie Kings in my area, and each and every time the stores don’t receive my order even when my app and credit card say I have been charged. This needs to be fixed ASAP. As it’s not just one location having difficulty in finding my order in their system, it’s multiple locations, it must be an error between the communication of the app and the store where I placed the order. It’s really weird that I’ve been told my credit card has been charged, but Smoothie King staff don’t see my order in their system. Smoothie King, get your stuff together

Weak rewards.. The app itself is okay but don’t expect to earn meaningful rewards. You get $2 off every time you spend $25. To get “champion” status you must spend $350 (!) and even then you only get $2 off every $20 spent. The only free drink reward you’ll get is a small 20oz on your birthday which also requires champion status. Overall this is an underwhelming, half-baked rewards system that screams, “we don’t want to reward loyal customers but we’ll throw them a bone since everyone else is doing it.”

Great but could improve. The app is great! Very convenient (saves recent orders, saves card so you can pay with the app or order ahead). Not super glitchy. Gets the job done consistently. Makes it somewhat easy to apply rewards. Easy to locate stores Suggested improvements: -Tipping AFTER receiving order (like the Starbucks app: I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tipped ahead and wished I hadn’t because my smoothie was poorly made or how many times I didn’t tip but wish I had because my smoothie was perfect and everyone was nice) -Calories with macronutrient information in app (carbs, protein, fat amounts of each smoothie) -caffeine content in app (not huge since it’s online but it’s difficult to access if I’m on the go and want to quickly choose a smoothie for my caffeine fix)

Peanut Power plus fan.. This is the one that I like the best thing even though I added pumpkin into it, it is so very good and yet healthy for you. It is really helpful to me to see all the smoothies to order ahead, order ahead is really that quick so I can drink it as I’m relaxing and do stuff Instant. Thank you for letting all the fans love the best smoothies.

Great place but.... I love Smoothie King. I have been a customer since they first open. I always had a great experience but two weeks ago I had an issue. I came and got my morning smoothie before work and I walk to my car and it exploded all over me due to the top not being on properly. But other than that I love this place.

Make sure you check your rewards and owner doesn’t allow tipping. Quite frustrating - you have to physically change the rewards you “earned” with your money to activate them. I had 13, 2.00 rewards, some expired due to not having them turned on. Additionally the location doesn’t allow for tipping these young kids working. I think that’s an awful play by the franchisee. What’s the problem? Is the franchise putting the possibility that he or she would have to count the tip as income to the company so they just shut it off? Come on, be better then that. I’m at this location a lot, I’ve never seen the owner.

New App won’t receive data. I downloaded the new app, attempted to log back in, and the app tells me that my information is incorrect. I hit the link for “forgot password“, and put in my email address that all of my receipts go to, and I know is my account email. The app stated that it would be sending me an email soon. I have requested it over 50 times and have never gotten an email. I have tried to follow through with support, but nobody gets back to me. The transference of this new app has been awful, and I have not been going to smoothie king at all, which I went there a minimum of five times per week with my crazy schedule.

Almost 5 stars!. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the process of turning on your healthy rewards that you unlock. I feel the option should be shown when you place your order and not on a separate menu, I have had healthy rewards expire on me until someone at the store told me where to go to get it. Otherwise this app rocks! :)

Mt. Laurel Location. I love the smoothies, but hate this location! Several staff members are rude and it always takes forever to get your order. The owner or manager can’t be bothered to return a call when there is a problem. A recent example… I placed an order on the app and showed up 20 minutes later to pick up our lunch. There was a sign on the door saying they were closed due to a technical issue. Staff was inside, but no one had the common decency to call me and tell me they couldn’t fulfill my order. Since I wasted most of my lunch hour driving there and back, I had no time to order anything else. Customer service stinks!

Delicious smoothies!! Best location. By drinking smoothies almost every day for a year I appreciate a great smoothie! Not all locations are created equally unfortunately. The Sunset Hills, Fenton and Long Road locations are the best! It’s clear to me that other locations cut corners on ingredients, to make more money I assume, and they just don’t taste the same. Rockhill and Kirkwood locations are most disappointing for me and that really hurts the brand.

Decent. Love smoothie king smoothies. Great recipes and seemingly good quality produce is used. I love smoothies. I use to go to smoothie king daily. Although, like most places the prices have gone up. That is understandable. Although, it feels a bit excessive. There’s not even a 5 dollar Friday anymore. The app is cool for ensuring that you get the specifics ingredients right. But actually issuing and accumulating discounts is difficult and cumbersome. Deals could be better and app could be streamlined. Long time regular customer.

Great smoothies, awful app. I constantly get app notifications about promos (take $2 off through 8/16, random $1 off offers, survey offers) and either the promos don’t apply or I get an error that I can’t claim the reward. Why do I constantly get notifications about claiming rewards/promos if I can never actually use them? So annoying.

Search bar. The app is an okay app. For me I’m use to the old version so it’s taking a minute to Get use to this new UI. One thing I did notice is how hard it is to find a specific smoothie because there’s literally no search bar to search for an item. Only search bar is for locations. Some of us don’t wanna spend an eternity figuring out what type of smoothie our favorite smoothie maybe considered we just know that name. Create that search bar please

Mobile App Pickup. One employee said to select Curbside Delivery, one employee brought it to me with no problem, and currently I see a sign through the window that says Online Order pickup with my order. To add, there are two signs that has Curbside Pickup Only, which means which of the aforementioned options? It is very likely that someone could steal my paid for item. Lastly, it states on the app to call when you have arrived, which doesn’t mean anything because apparently they don’t want to bring it out. I would rather they just say you have to come in then to “figure out” the next step.

Bugs. I really do love this app and use it weekly to order my smoothies but for some reason the past few times I’ve used the app it takes at least a full 45 seconds for each page to load (I timed it)... which is obviously frustrating when all I want is to order a smoothie and go about my day. Other than the long loading process I love it. Quick & easy. Also I’ve tried the app on and off WiFi and in different parts of town... still had the same issue with the app.

Rewards system. Overall, the app is easy to use and very user friendly. Ordering from the app is easy and makes my life easier when I leave the gym. My only problem is the rewards system. I feel after I buy almost 7 smoothies I should get a free one, not just a $2 reward. It is better than nothing but is is nice. I have spent a lot of money here and the smoothies are great and all but a free one once in a while would be nice 😂

Smoothie King #1 Freezing Mobile App. I love Smoothie King. I go here almost every day. Though the mobile app has been buggy for awhile. I assumed it was my signal but even with wifi it still freezes a lot. After clicking Order Now the app is stuck on Loading Screen, Freezes, and shuts down. It takes half an hour to get it to load, by then I’m already at the store. Also after selecting a previous smoothie order, I can no longer customize it. Please give the option to customize when quick selecting past orders.

Convenience is king. If you visit smoothie king it is worth it to download the app and pre-order so you don't have to wait in the store! Just order it on your way over and they will have it ready for you by the time you get there. It's the best, and you can build up points and get free smoothies! I am the smoothie king, I can do anything. The Smoothie King Awoke before Dawn, he got his drink on.

Ordering thru the app is a hassle. My delivery orders randomly get canceled and they give no proper reason as to why. On occasions, when I call the store, they’ve said the order is ready but the delivery person has not picked it up yet. And if the order is canceled by smoothie king themselves, then the store won’t give you a refund because they have system limitations where they have to wait for the manager of the store to arrive once in a blue moon and only he/she can provide the refund. The online ordering process at Smoothie King needs to be fixed, especially for deliveries!

This app is so ducking janky. Every tap takes forever to load it is most certainly not the wifi on my phone and everything goes fine and dandy until you hit submit on the order and then it crashes. Also you can only order an hour in advanced. I don’t know what I’m doing in an hour, I can’t plan that far ahead. As a matter of fact I don’t know what I’m doing right now. All I know is that it’s 5 dollar Friday and all freaking weeek I have been dreaming about my smoothie and as god as my witness I will get my points for this because the store here hates the app and I can’t get points with in store purchases jdjdjjsjdhdhdh

Decent app. A decent app but far from great. It would be nice if they added the ability to add a note to your order for the store. There is also no option to get assistance with incorrect orders. I found this to be the biggest concern. All you can do is call the store and the one near me never answers and I assume because they are busy. Almost all ordering apps have the ability to place a concert or complaint for wrong or incorrect orders. It forces me to only order through DoorDash or Uber so at least I’m protected by their policies and can get my money back on entirely wrong orders.

Great for first attempt needs some improvement. Love theThe concept of the app. It integrates well with Apple Pay which is key for me to keep this app however the interface and using the options to selectThings to purchase is slow and very choppy. I’ve tried it on direct Wi-Fi and not on Wi-Fi and I have the same experience. A little shopping cart somewhere on the screen would be helpful to know what’s in the shopping cart. This gives me the user another way to find what I was selected instead of having to start all over again.

Customer service. I placed my order using the app not before checking if the store was open which it was because their business hours are Sunday 9-9 I was supposed to pick up my order at 9:40 am I got there at 9:36 am just so the attendant can tell me that they’re closed while he was inside with another coworker of his, I told him that I had checked the store hours and I couldn’t cancel my order, he then asked me if I could come back at 10:15 once the store was open unfortunately I was on a rush an couldn’t wait but he didn’t even tried to accommodate my needs as a customer

Good app most of the time unless you’re placing a mobile order. Recently (due to Covid) a lot of locations that don’t have drive throughs required orders be placed via the app. Well, 75% of the time the orders would not go through, wasting a lot of time for the customer. As well, in the app you cannot choose plastic cups, it only gives you the styrofoam option. I like plastic because the contents melt faster in plastic and I like my smooth a little “smoother” and less frozen. These issues should be fixed.

Bug feedback. When using the “larger text” display feature, it causes the rewards tab to not be able to be toggled correctly to enable rewards. this is happening after deleting, and reinstalling the app, on the most recent version of the app, and on the most recent version of iOS.

Could be so great but…. I love smoothie king and if this app ever function the way it is supposed to then it would be great……but it rarely does. It shows the store is closed when it is actually opened or the order says it has an error and I end up having to sit in the drive-through. There are times when I only have a few minutes to swing in and if I could order online I would swing through and pick up something quick but I am not able to because of issues with the app and end up having to pass on my order.

Great Store and Staff. The Smoothie King in Afton Village has become a very valuable part of our NW Cabarrus County community. Honestly, I look at the staff as if they are my family members because there is very little turnover and it seems like I have watched them all grow into some very respectful young adults. They are extremely friendly and welcoming. A smile comes on my face and theirs every time I enter the store. They know me by name and I know them.

Very basic ordering ahead app. All this app does is allow you to order ahead and view reward points that’s it. No features at all. Something simple like having a favorites smoothie list it does not have. This app could be so much more than just ordering ahead and because of that I can only give it an average of 3 stars unfortunately. Hopefully they will improve and add more later so it will be 5 star worthy.

Not Open During Business Hours. The location in Loganville near Grayson Hwy and Orzora was not open until 20 minutes after the scheduled business hours. The manager, Sheila, sat in her car until she noticed me taking down the phone number on the door. She proceeded to go into the store saying she’d issue my refund. I couldn’t wait. There were at least 10 other cars that had also left. When I called, she became defensive and was raising her voice. I advised I would follow up with the operations manager. This is my first time coming to this location and it will definitely be my last. The other location in Loganville off of 78 and Hwy 81 South is stellar.

FORMER CUSTOMER. The app does not work since the update. And decision makers are SK are certainly aware. Spoke with two franchisees who’s frustration level is greater than that of your customers. Sales volumes have decreased since the update and innocent employees are regularly confronted by angry customers about the now useless app. The previous version was efficient, but nobody’s life was going to change because of the app. But it’s was nice. The upgrade happened weeks ago, and I find it indefensible that SK has made zero adjustments or public announcements to do so. I can’t support such arrogance or ignorance.

Our Favorite Location. We LOVE SK and are in the process of bringing a franchise to our hometown in WV. In the meantime, we love visiting this location on North High St when we pass through town. The owner and his team members there do a great job and it’s always a positive experience. Every smoothie is right every time and they are always delicious! If you haven’t formed a healthy SK habit yet, we highly recommend visiting TODAY! 😋😋

SUPERB DRINKS & SERVICE. This has been our SK location for many years now. We choose this one for the excellent service and hospitality we receive. They remember us by name and when we dont visit for a while they notice! The drinks are always top notch and the staff is extremely efficient. We love coming here, they make us feel like family. The owners are the friendliest and care about their staff and customers. We never go anywhere else!
