So-So. I really like it before but after it's getting worse and worse. My favorite cartoon is all staring to disappear!! I just can't stand the search bar too!! Sometimes the other product, for example pptv already has the episode and pps still don't has it!! Now, it made my head hurts a lot!! Please don't yell at me because this is just my own opinion..

Terrific.. It's almost like getting to find new places to explore. There are surprisingly a Lot of American cartoon, and movies. Plus with a strong signal from them it is an ap that is so much fun. Come and get it. Thank you.

Good Internet entertainment network. The best Internet entertainment site so far. To bad it can't watch any more new update movie such as batman 3 , so and so..... I wish it can come back as before. But this site still the # 1 site downloading is smooth and fast

Pretty good！. I don't have time to watch tv so pps gives me a chance to watch movies and tv shows whenever I have time. There are so many choices. If only it can update the movies faster then I would've given it 5 stars. Although its a few years behind but it's still worth downloading and watch whatever you like when you have time.

Great for people who know mandarin. This app actually a lot of content for people who know mandarin. It's not so great for people who don't. In terms of functionality, it is a great app and has a few bugs, but nothing that a software update can't fix

Best App. I used many different Apps to watch the shows, so far, PPS is one of the best. Great shows selection, excellent picture quality and outstanding play speed, there's no other app could compare. I wish PPS will continue make their app better.

Should have English version cos I don't understand Chinese but I like pps should try to have English. I like pps it's very good but unfortunately I don't really understand Chinese that's a BIG problems for me everytimes I dload I have to ask for help if got English version how nice !!!!!

Not worth the time. When I first got this app it ran great now it's slow very slow and with each update it get slower. Movies show up but you cant watch/download them and more and more movies are showing up for a day then gone. I get more more blank boxes and have no idea what that movie is. I would rather have a stable app and pay for it, as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Not worth the time anymore.

It's ok but .... ... search doesn't work very well. And the app doesn't allow my iPad to go into "sleep mode" so if I fall asleep watching a movie, I wake up and my IPad's battery is completely drained. Really need to fix this batter saving mode problem! But when you are downloading a movie and you want the app to keep active so it can download the whole movie, the iPad is allowed to go into sleep mode. Meaning I have to monitor things and restart the download every few minutes. Update: Just upgraded to the new version and it STILL doesn't let my iPad go into sleep mode after a movie finishes playing. I haven't checked if the search works any better but I don't care because it is REALLY ANNOYING to wake up and find my iPad still displaying the PPS application and my battery basically gone. No other app has this problem. Update2: really is a problem with the app not going to sleep mode and wasting battery. And the ONLY reason I installed the new version was to hopefully correct this problem. Now, I get a lot more advertising! Thanks PPS :-( Oh ... and the new auto-play feature is also very annoying.

Great for learning or relearning chinese. It is a great app for learning Chinese. If you have kids it is a great for showing them quick clips on various basic concepts in the Chinese language. If you get really advanced you can even learn about the Chinese language. From the home screen scroll to the bottom of the category listing and click on that category. Pretty much that entire selection is all educational ranging from counting, to words, phrases, and even traditional Chinese cultures. Be warn though it is like watching a Chinese version of PBS or Sesame Street. So if you get annoyed watching Elmo you may get tired of watching the "Tiger". LOL!!! But you may learn how to say just how annoyed you are in Chinese at the end of the day. :)

Best App on my iPad. I don't understand why some say this is garbage, maybe there is better one out there, but I have not seen it yet. This app has good variety contents, download speed is very decent, and the ability to be able to stream or download is A major plus.

Love this apps. Have been using this apps for years. It is getting better and better. Very smooth performance. I have a slow internet but have no problem to watch movies. :-)

Can’t register with US phone number. The original version you can register using a US phone number. Not sure why you can’t login using US phone numbers. Iqiyi should fix this issue.

Love it and my daughter too. Life saver to distract my daughter who is a toddler from time to time and to learn Chinese thru the young children shows. And for me to watch comics that I used to watch when I was younger... All the episodes! And I just found out I can download to my iPhone and bring it oversea without worrying not having Internet connection !!! Loving it!!! Thank u PPS!!!

Best p2p streaming app for iPad. The loading speed is very fast event though I am outside of China. Plenty of tvs and movies. The only weakness, compared to other similar apps, no HD video is provided, so I take one star off. Since the New IPad is launched, HD version is highly needed. Probably, it is in the progress.

Error message and then app closes on it's own. After the upgrade, this app stops working on my iPad 2. I got the show to start playing but then I got this error message pop up in the middle of the screen. The only way to get this pop up to go away is to confirm the error message. Then the app shuts down by itself. Before this upgrade, the show stalls a lot and I have to keep rebuffering. But at least I can watch the show. Now I can't watch it at all. Please fix.

Great app, but need feature. Great app. Use it all the time on iPod Touch and iPhone. But when trying to use it on iPad, navigation seems to be unintuitive. In the iPod Touch/iPhone version, there is a "Channel" section that sorts all content by "movies", "TV shows", etc. please bring that to the iPad version!

Great app. This is one of the best Chinese Media App that I have used. Other apps has the tendency breaking down due to the small web farm to handle all the request, but you do not have to worry about that in this app, you can really enjoy watching the movies or tv series without much interruption.

Good. I like using pps more than any other similar apps. However, many shows are still not on the list. That is when I would use others apps. If the inventory can be more up to date, then it would be perfect.

Good but alot of bugs. It crashes when searching movies, i cant change categories more than once or it will just wont search movies anymore and it would be nice if it can change to the language to english too

One of the best movie apps. Awesome app. I love all the constant update in its library and the abundance of available movies. The best part is that it has just the right amount of advertising commercials so you won't be annoyed by unwanted disturbance. The only problem is that it sometimes is slow and takes a long time to buffer.

Update problem. Can update through iPad and itune, but after sync with itune, the app was change back to older version, where AppStore (on iPad) will start show the little red reminder to remind that this app need to update, but when check within itune store, all app was updated? What happen?

Best place to watch tvb.. I can't read Chinese but it's easy to figure out. I figured out that some tvb are dubbed mandarin but there is a language button to change into canto. Thank goodness cause I only understand canto. Best app ever for me to catch up tvb anywhere.

Don't sell me a subscription in Taiwan if no content is available here. They'll take your money then say your region doesn't have any content. Then why did you give me subscription options?

Do not pay for it if you live in the states!. Tons of shows and movies I can’t watch because I live in the USA because they have restricted areas. 👎🏻 waste of money and time

Great app and great selections. Excellent app. Latest version provides a GUI that is easy to navigate. It's fast and stable. Thank you very much for such a great app. I use it everyday. One wishful improvement is its search functionality. sometimes the search does not provide accurate result.

Great for AirPlay. Great app! Love watching movies and shows! And love the new version, taking advantage of AirPlay! However, when the phone got locked, the play stopped. It might be helpful to turn off auto lock function when using this app! Or background play. Anyway, great app!

Version 1.0.4 has a major problem. The playing stuck every once in a while (couple of minutes), when it happened, I noticed that the bit rate dropped down to zero. While I have no idea why it happened this way, I did figure out that if I drag the progress bar a little, the play will continue, and bit rate goes back to normal, unfortunately it will continue the loop shortly. Because of this problem, watching movie/TV becomes a painful process. PPS is the only player at this point to play show rather instantly and smoothly, please address this problem ASAP. And please add air play. A frustrated user.

So far so good. First day using, no problem and is running very smooth. Size can be a concern as it doesn't seem to be optimized for iPhone, half hour show is like 80mb, otherwise pretty good. Update: been running pretty smooth on iPhone 4 on 4.3.2, no crash and fast even on 3G. it has considerably less programs than the desktop version, and the ordering difference makes it harder to find shows but I'm still happy with the iOS version. I would still keep my 4 star rating at the moment, but would suggest sorting it similarly to the desktop version based on popularity. AirPlay would definitely make this shine to the ATV owner like myself.

N/A. This app is one of the best app that I have downloaded so far. Very reliable! I have really enjoyed it very much. It has worked perfectly. Since the app itself is free, I will give it an additional star; since all the movies and shows this app have provided for FREE, one more star! So, it deserves 7 stars! I love it!!!!!

PPS Review. This is one of the most amazing apps ever created. Prior to transitioning to Apple products, I was worry that PPS was only compatible with PC, but apparently it works on almost everything! (Though I do wish PPS can also create an app for the Samsung smartTV so I don't have to keeping accessing it through the browser) Overall, I LOVE this App!

New version not stable!!!. 1st very nice skins for the new version! That is nice. 2nd not stable to rec last position time, always start from beginning. Previous version don't have this issue! 3rd not stable when temporary quite, still in multitasking mode, when call back, always hang in there, need to be force quite, previous version also have this issue, but not like this version frequent. 10 time for 3 hang. 4th Good in this version, when add new task for download no more error, or said it will add up, previous version just show up new task, and need to be force quit only able to see fully task.

This is a nice app but.... It is a nice app but I would like more things that kid watch that isn’t vip.

I like it, but... PPS is amazing especially when you go abroad and wanna see some dramas, and the app developer also work very hard to upgrade the function. The only one thing that I am not satisfied is that it cannot memorize your favorite and this should be the basic function. For example, when I record A as my favorite on my iPad, it should be shown on my iPhone as well. Besides, the classification is not detail enough, for example, PPS has a category of oversea drama, but in fact, the term of oversea is too huge, and Japan and Korea have tons of drama, putting them together will increase the difficulty to find the drama you want. If PPS can upgrade these drawbacks, I would like to give 5 star.

Better and easier. As my though is easy to use and search. And also combine with choice from the old times to right now right at the most recent up-dated ones. When I don't sit in front of the computer as much as I use to, it's a good app for me to keep in touch with the media.

Overall I like it. Even though it doesn't have many TV option but good enough to kill some time when u have nothing to watch. Have no problem with loading and watching. Better than the PPSream on the laptop or desktop. Because that have limitation to watch if u are not living in China. Overall I like it.

iPhone menu useless - can't zoom icons. The movie icons are too small to read. Can't use two finger zoom, and if you use triple tap zoom it always starts wrong movie if you scroll. Idiots didn't allow for small screen. Apart from that movies take forever or get lost if you scroll ahead - should have fast forward if sync takes so long. If you run app to continue a movie you are part watched, asks if you want to resume where you were, then 90% of time starts from beginning- written by idiots. Too toooooo slow to start or if change place or losses sync!!!

Great apps. This is one of the best apps I've downloaded. It works perfectly and I love it that i can download my favorite series directly into my iPad.

Great App but could be even better. Not quite used to the new UI where the right panel don't refresh at all compare to the previous version.

Lack of background downloading. Dono if its the issue with ios or the app but when you download a movie and you switch to another app, the download is paused and makes it extremely difficult to download movies, i mean why would you stay on the download manage page for a couple of hours just to let it download and we cant do anything else at the same time?

New version search function. The new version no longer have viewing filter previously avail. used to be able to sort by region, years, ratings etc. would be good if this is added back in on future updates. Also no more tvb series on the new version. Pls add

English please. Great app once you figure out the buttons or learn simplified Chinese. Wish I was a faster learner but until then I'd love to see some English subtext or language preferences. Can't watch some content due to an error displayed that I can't read - no ones fault but my own but again, this app would generate much more interest from many cultures if it was more accessible. Pps getting slower. I'm not sure why, the updated pps or the current pps, the load time is getting slower or basically not movin at all. The previous version work perfectly fine, no waitin at all. Anyone know what's wrong with the new update, I hope they release another new update to fix it.

Great!. Only reservation is that recently it wouldn't play any of my search results. It only plays videos found through the menus. This isn't good if you want to search for, then play, a video.

Getting worst. Used to be a lot of entertainments. But each time upgrading it lost more and more streaming choices as well as being more and more regional restricted. And they never mention it in the upgrades which is really dodgy. If insist not upgrading this app will continuously give you a pop up message to notify you which is very annoying. I am getting disappointed.

Need to fix AirPlay support to Apple TV. Overall use is fine. However, the stream stops when iPhone/iPad sleeps. Either make the iPhone/iPad stay "awake" while streaming via AirPlay or allow it to stream even when the device goes to sleep.

The best in its kind. Although there are still many things to improve, it's already the best to enjoy!

Good selection of Chinese TV shows and movies + AirPlay! No English UI. A pretty good app to watch chinese content. Has AirPlay to stream to Apple TV - but bizarrely makes you first enable it in its settings. Should just be on like all other apps. An English version of the app UI would be appreciated for those who like to watch Chinese TV but find written Chinese difficult - especially some of the button labels when downloading shows. Should use iPad system language so buttons and UI show in Chinese if the iPad is set to Chinese, but English if English. Obviously the show content should be in whatever language they come in.

Fantastic app.. No lagging while watching. Couldn't ask for more on this free app. Keep up the good work. One gripe is that the filter by year on movie is missing on the new UI. hopefully it will be reinstated in the future version

Can't download/view some shows. It was good until a few days ago when I couldn't download or watch any of the American shows (revenge, csi, desperate housewives, castle, etc, etc) which i was able to before. not sure why but the message was in Chinese and I cannot read in Chinese. sounds daft but I was still able to navigate my way round this app easily. Perhaps someone can tell me why I can no longer download/view these shows? I live in Australia.

Should have English version.. This is perfect apps for everything , but I wish if we can see it in English version too. Too much confusion. Very good app. Full screen play used to work but does not work any more since the last update Today's update does not fix the problem. Anybody has the same problem?

Fast. Very fast even when watching HD quality movie, only 10-20 seconds of buffering in the beginning then no wait at all throughout the movie.

Language???. The says the language is English but yet it's still in Chinese? It's not much of a problem for me but how come the "American" movie option has disappeared?

pps. latest version has a bug, cannot play one after another, therefore, in play now, nothing happens after ads, in order to play 2 downloads, after first one finish, go back to home page, exit PPS, then start again. otherwise a very good app.

No faith at all. It makes me feel deceived and disgusting. There is absolutely showing no respect for me. Seems that some employees or maybe their parters are quite unprofessional and have extremely personal emotions putting into the work. It is possible they use the position power to treat people different deliberately. I don’t know how dare these ridiculous things happen all the time. No worse experience than it.

Good, except that AirPlay does not work at all.. I enjoyed using this app a lot, so I decided to buy Apple TV to view the shows on TV. Unfortunately it didn't work. On the TV, it shows there is an error loading content... I'll give it a five star if this is fixed!

Excellent Video Collection. This is one of my most used apps now! There are so many recent international films, docos and tv series to watch (mostly of Asian origin). The updates are great and I can't wait to see the collection have more and more of a variety!

Nice app but. Have been using this app for some time now. And it has been updated several times，however，the app just got worse everytime i updated it. The shows that i frequently watch wont even load anymore. But still its a good app.

pps. Getting better all the time. It would even better if which year the movie is made is shown.

AirPlay for audio but not video, UI needlessly complicated. The latest iteration of the App has taken a step backwards in over complicating the UI. The unambiguous category buttons along the bottom in the previous version is better than the now left column of text, it looks like it was carried over from the Windows version, which is a disaster to navigate. Another disappointment is that AirPlay is incompletely implemented. The audio will go to the Apple TV device, but there is no way to make the video go. Looking forward to these fixes.

Hong Kong Drama. After the update, I'm unable to view hong kong drama. Before the update I was able to view everything. Hope they will update it again back to the same as before. Other than that everything is excellent!

Not sexy looking but tons of content.. It's one of those apps which don't have sexy looking UI but has extremely rich content.

English. This app is really awesome with thousands of movies and all. You can pretty much watch it in any country around the world but it only has one tiny problem. Everything is written in Chinese. Can you please add an English version

It's very good. Every day when I work or go home I always use my iPad watch pps .I like it very much and I with my wife can not live it .it's my life. I really thanks pps it give my life nice and happy .

When it works, it is very good.. It is fast without interruption, but it does not always work with Apple TV AirPlay. The message says "an error occurred when loading this content" -- have no idea what it means.

Thumbs up. Edit---after few months with pps constant updates that supposedly make the app better. No, not only it wasn't better but worse. I don't mind that they started to include ads but updates got rid of every good movies and shows that were on there. Also, now app can't even load the picture/poster of the movies during the selection. -.-

PPS is the best. I like PPS don't need download you can watch easy, there is only 1 thing i feel like they could do better is put the year on it.

AirPlay and category issue. Please fix the AirPlay connection and also the category issue. It's really hard to find a particular movie or tv show based on the current categories.

Perfect online video app. Bunch of sources, Pretty and clean interface. Search engine could be improved a little bit Like it overall.

Great App. I've watched many movies with this app connected to my tv. Works great, never crashes, and the picture is great. Works perfect over "4G" and 3G on my iPhones as well.

It's good. Everything is good except it wont find my movies. I type the movie name correctly and it has that movie too. When i click the search button, there's no result. I couldn't find any recent hong kong drama either. Please fix....

Good! could be better if have more American tv show.... The app is stable and well functioned. It pretty much includes all the function that the original computer software has. The best thing about it is you could actually download!

Excellent App. PPS latest release of the app is great. Very fast to pull the catalogs and play movies via wifi. No obvious bug. Very satisfied. Hope the next release will support Air Play via Apple TV.

Movie craze!!!. Super easy to watch a movie or a drama series. Except a lil hard to find the movie name in english cuz all movie names are translated to chinese name and some of them are totally lost in translation.

The Best Entertainment App. A must for iPad. The best online streaming app and offline viewing tool. It performs well using 1MB streamyx or most telco data plan in 3G mode. Best performance achieved under Unifi. All shows come with Chinese sub-title. Good for audience understanding Chinese.

Nice software for iphone!. Good loading speed and have a lot of improvement for the latest version.

PPS. Very good. The only problem is the search bar, you will find what you are looking for if you are lucky because its almost never shows up.

Very good. I have several apps for watching drama/movies, PPStream is the best because of its collection in latest dramas. I think it is one of smoothest app. Like the download part for long distance traveling in the plane. Highly recommended!

Best app ever. Learn of this app from friends is Hong Kong, best way to catch up w/ Chinese programs. I subscribe to the jade network via directtv and it has less programs than this app offers.

It's great. I love it but what would be better is if we could download the video on our device and be able to watch it without wifi

Last update messed up airplay function. A great app but the last update messed up the airplay function. It now stops the the show completely when the iPad or the iPhone goes into sleep mode!! Please fix! Thanx!!

9 stars. If I can rate 9 start I'll cause this app is so awesome ! Only problem is some movie not able to view and the app crash some time, but still this app is greatest app ever !!!!

Garbage app, don't waste you money. I paid for the VIP membership, hope to enjoy some good quality movies. But NO, the app is trash, after watch a few minutes, it ask me to redeem a vip ticket, after I did, it went back to the beginning, after a few minutes, it asks again... Don't waste your money on this poor app.

Great. Does as it says and most streaming apps tend to crash unlike pps. Only biggest problem is the limited selection and slight in between streaming, but among free apps, it poses hardly a weakness
