Office Time. This is a great app for logging your time and duties, and the support they offer is outstanding. I’ve been using this app since 2011, and am completely satisfied with it. I would recommend this for anyone that needs to track their time and projects!

Watch complications?. Love the app but why no complication yet for Apple Watch after all this time?

Happy her for over 10 years 😎👍🏻👍🏻. Yes, I have been using this app for over 10 years and I use it to time my job so I know how much to charge based on the hourly rate that I set for each client. it’s working very well on my Mac, iPhone, and iPad. I did purchase the subscription because I wanted to use the cloud sync which works very well. I emailed their support the other day and they were fairly quick to respond to the email and was very helpful. There also is a reporting feature so if you need to calculate for tax season all the jobs and how much you made, you can easily do that by filtering for the whole year or doing a custom filter for other years. Personally, I think it’s good to make a project for each client or at least that is is what I’m doing. When you’re in the projects, you can select a project tap the edit button and you can set a default hourly rate for that project. You set the hourly rates in the categories area. So basically when you’re in the settings for the projects, you can set a default category for that project so every time you add a new timer to that project it will use that hourly rate, but you can always change the hourly rate/category on the fly also.

Responsive little app without the bloat. After trying many timers and time sheet type programs and apps I have come to really enjoy OfficeTime. It's interface is simple and intuitive on the Mac and its portability on the iOS is great. My favorite feature on the Mac version is it's ability to read directly from my iCal database, which is a major time saver when trying to keep track of time spent in meeting and with clients. Some folks want to meet all of the time but don't realize how much that time is costing them and their project. I also really like the customizability of the invoice template. This is a major challenge with most other time keeping applications. I keep several different variations of the template for the different types of billing I do. A wish list item would be to include the ability to input the contract value of a project (on a lump sum contract or GMP) and have the program report the remaining value of the contract in the invoice. For example, the contract value is $100, the billed hours are $75, the remaining value is $25. This is almost always a request from my firm fixed price clients in our discussions about how their project is going, especially after billing. Thanks, great software.

I use it for Per Diem Calc. I’m a corp. pilot and Office Time is the perfect app. to calc days and hours for per diem reimbursement. It takes seconds, so intuitive and easy. Makes my paperwork work flow very efficient.

Love this product. As a long-time Timeslips user, it amazes me that OfficeTime does all the same functions at a fraction of the cost. And it has some great syncing features.

Lost time sheets. I can’t express how disappointed I am with this app. Once you figure out how to get it to work, it’s pretty convenient to click on and off from the time sheet window. Project setup is easy. Yes are easy to input. BUT...and here is the big BUT that had us stop using it today. I have been diligent about using this app to do freelance billing. Today, when going back to do my two-week billing, I found two whole WEEKS of projects and time sheets completely missing! I have to go back and recreate them or not get paid. Hours and hours and hours of work. I do a lot of segmented work with different clients, often an hour here or a half-hour there, or even ten minutes for phone calls or edits. That is impossible to find again. This is the third time this has happened. Today, we downloaded Toggl. It integrates with our project management software, so this may work out. Otherwise, it’s back to pencil and paper. I’ve tried now something like nine time tracking products. All fail or aren’t flexible enough. This one, had it worked reliably, was pretty good. But, I can’t have lost time like this.

Best time tracker. I’m a freelance writer and love that I can keep track of billable hours for multiple projects and clients. The sync between my PC, laptop, and iPhone really comes in handy when I travel.

Unbelevably simple and easy to use. I am a freelance web developer and i just started using this software a few months ago. the program is just awesome. it does a great job of keeping track of my time and i love the automatic away alert. lots of times i get sidetracked or leave and forget to pause my time but now i don't have to worry about it. the iPhone app is beautiful and sync's flawlessly. i can view projects while away from my computer and if i need to train someone on a website and I'm away from my computer i just start the app timer on my phone and the additional time sync's with my computer when i get home. I would highly recommend using this program if you are any type of freelancer or an organization. More often than not, when i am asked for time estimates or how long i take on projects i am far from accurate on using an educated guess. OfficeTime makes it so i have accurate times and notes to remind me of what i was working on during that time.

Works great. I'm an independent contractor who bills my clients at an hourly rate. I've been using the desktop version of OfficeTime for several months. It's a fantastic application that lets me keep track of all billable hours, keep notes on each day's activities and create invoices with just a few clicks of the mouse - complete with a detailed report from all my notes. The only downside was that it couldn't keep track of my time when I was away from my computer. This app solves that problem. I can start and stop the timer anywhere I am working for my clients. Then, when I get back in range of my home wireless network, it wirelessly syncs with my desktop application to update my time and notes. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to keep track of their time and activities for billing clients.

Confusing. Not as intuitive as expected. Confusing commands. “Done” and “Cancel” buttons shouldn’t be in same line. I’ve deleted project hours too many times when revising or adding time manually. Must be me.

Great app!!!. This is a great app for tracking time but it would be VERY beneficial to to be able to schedule projects and share between colleagues!!!!

Unimpressed. I loved the unpaid version so I decided to upgrade specifically so I could export my time sheet for clients. When I went to export though, it won’t let me! The other features of the paid version are great and all but not what I need. I just need to be able to send my project times out! So frustrated.

Starting to like this app. Clean Interface

Just great for a version 1.0 app!. So far so good! I have been using the desktop version of this app on my Mac and PC for quite a while now and I was just ecstatic when I found it. The program was really everything I was looking for since I use a PC at work and a Mac at home. After integrating the iPhone app version I am very, very pleased again! After I downloaded it, I immediately synced it with my desktop version which the app did without issue. I also tested the syncing the other direction as well…I started tracking time within the app and within seconds it was synced back to my desktop version. Fantastic!! Now I'll be able to track my time and expenses EVERYWHERE! I know that sounds crazy to be excited about that - but to get rid of more mind-numbing administrative work and get down to business is what every productive person wants. The only thing that could be added that would be great to have in one place would be a mileage tracker for when I drive for work as well since mileage is also submitted on my expense reports (but I'm not complaining).

What’s going on with the upgrade?. Getting a little concerned regarding the upgraded version that I prepaid for. It was coming down the homestretch several months ago and it’s been radio silence ever since. Please provide an update ASAP.

Killer app. Ultimate in time management

Great app, I use it for my business.. I'm a web and marketing consultant who needs to track hours. This app can do three critical things: 1. be accessed from a lockout screen 2. export the data so it can be used in other programs 3. keep track/report time in lots of different and useful ways It also tracks expenses and has a nice interface. There are even versions to sync with a desktop if needed and probably other options I don't use. I bought this a few years ago and always liked it, but adding access thru a mobile's lockout screen prompted me to leave the review. It's a great app. I love it!

Great app. This is our go to for tracking hours. It’s easy to use and syncs effortlessly across platforms. Been using it steadily for almost 8 years and all are pleased!

A godsend!. This app is great for me. I have had a terrible time tracking my time in the past and have always had to go back and reconstruct. This is so simple--no learning curve...it just quickly and easily starts tracking time at the push of a button. I use the Mac app at work and on the go this app fills in for time spent working away from my computer. Most of that time--a phone call or quick research on my phone just never got accounted for in the past...basically, I was working for free! Now when I make or get a call I just click and it starts timing. Clients names are "projects" and different activities (research, call, correspondence, etc) are categories. I love that I can make a note if what I'm doing doesn't fall into a pre-defined category and/or just to keep myself on track with a project. I absolutely love it!!! There are a few features that might be helpful to me, but I think the simplicity of it outweighs the few extra benefits for added features...and everyone's workflow is different so it works to just stick to the basics with an app like this one. So far, flawless sync between iPhone and MacBook. For me, this app is priceless!!

GREAT app!!. I am so pleased with how this app can be used on my iPhone or on my desktop to track projects. I have been a graphic designer for more than 30 years, and I have used lots of time tracking sheets and tools. This is by far the easiest and most thorough I have used. I ask it to sync between phone and desktop, and it does so immediately. I can change the name of my projects. I can add or subtract time if necessary. It keeps track of the cost. Thank you for creating this brilliant app!

So far, SO close!. I used the free version of OfficeTime for a week to see if it would be worth investing in the paid version. After the first few days, I knew this was exactly the sort of timesheet app I’d been looking for. Working for a nonprofit company with a small staff means I’ve fingers in more than one pie on any given day. The higher ups like to know exactly what us worker bees get done on Project A, Project B, etc, and how many hours each of these projects occupy in a given day. OfficeTime makes it wildly simple (after setting up the various Categories & Projects to suit my needs) to seamlessly switch my time tracking between tasks as the demands of the day dictate. I can’t yet give the app a full 5 star rating due to one major (for me) disappointment: there doesn’t appear to be any option to sync my data between multiple devices. Some of my duties tie me to a desk/keep my around the main office, where it’s convenient to keep my time running on my iPad (it’s already propped up on the desk for note taking, anyway). Another major part of my duties, however, keeps me on my feet & nowhere near a desk, and I’d prefer to be able to track & adjust my times from my iPhone for those tasks. As of now, it looks as if I’d need to track my office tasks on the iPad & the “field” tasks on iPhone — meaning I’d have to combine the data from two separate data exports for my weekly timesheets. I’ve also yet to figure out how I can input my name to be included with the data export, even though the export settings menu says my name can/will be included. Deal-breaking caveats that will send me rallying for a refund? Not at all. Inconvenient & inefficient? Very. Even so, I am very pleased with the level of detail this app provides my timekeeping, and I look forward to seeing it evolve in future updates.

Does everything I need it to do.. Once you set it up for your particular jobs, it works great.

Best app handsdown. I have the desktop software "OfficeTime" which syncs up well with this app. I am a musician and work a lot from home and need to track time and project sessions accurately and keep great records for my clients. This is a very customizable app and software that works well for my needs. I like that you can download the program to your computer and not rely on the cloud services most other companies use. I would highly recommend this for any small business that needs to track time and projects.

Does exactly what I need it to. I am a real estate assistant and need to track my own hours. This app works perfectly for clocking in and out, pausing for breaks and starting again. I liked this app so much I added the paid version so I could easily email my boss a spread sheet to bill him my hours. So easy!! I also take the time and use the notes feature to enter in all the tasks I did for my boss each day, that way everyone knows I was productive and he can see what activities he is paying me for. At the end of each day I know how much money I have earned because this app adds time and money earned as the clock ticks away. At the end of the pay period I know what amount of money I have earned and bill my boss for my time by quickly and easily sending a spread sheet of my "time card", just with a click of a button. So easy!! The only thing I would add to this app is that i would like the spread sheet total out the total hours worked and total money earned. It seems that as it stands, my boss needs to manually calculate each day to get the grand total. Maybe there's a purpose or reason why it does not do this already? I love this app and so far the developer seems in tune, responsive and ready to make this the perfect time keeping app!

Good App, No Free Backup Syncing. There are so many great things to be said about this app, and yet despite their promises, there are NO backup syncing options unless one pays for their expensive desktop app. Most well designed apps can sync to the web, Dropbox or other backup source without having to go through another device. This is like buying a high end BMW or Mercedes automobile and learning you must additionally purchase a spare tire if you want that protection, when every other inexpensive car has installed them for free. A great app that unfortunately appears to be gimped by greed.

Best time tracking app for the Apple Ecosystem. I have tried so many time tracking apps, even some that claim to use AI. For me, this is the best. Easy to use, great integration and very effective reports. Service by Stephen is also great, fast and laser focused on your questions. The new version (beta) offers the iCloud sync which is a massive improvement. I highly recommend this app

Easy and simple way to track time and material. Easy and simple s

Art project pricing. Stays free $. This time logging really helps me track my hours at doing different pay rates per step in a job in a project. It gives total of $ per project which is useful for figuring out a wholesale or retail price.

It has a few shortcomings. It would be nice if it recognized that my email app is MS Outlook, and let me email data out. And it would be nice to be able to print.

Powerful Yet Simple. I appreciate how OfficeTime provides the features to track and report time in any manner needed and pull reports in seconds. Time can be tracked and easily synced across different devices. During the 10 years or so I have used OfficeTime it has crashed so infrequently that if it does it is notable because it is such a rarity. I have never lost data. And newer versions add new features without sacrificing robustness. I can’t comment on their documentation or service because OfficeTime has such easy to use features and is so robust that I’ve never had to look at the app’s Help menu or contact the developer.

Reliable, unobtrusive, easy. After several years of using this app, I take it for granted. It’s easy, reliable, easy on the memory, and it’s readily available but not in the way. Syncing with the desktop version is fast. No need to look further, for me. Great work.

Still the best for me. I need a simple easy to use, quick to access app to keep track of my time. This app does it better than any other that I've tried. I set up my clients and projects and I can quickly access and switch between them throughout the day. Quick customer service response is great too.

Worst. This application is the worst! It randomly has all kinds of glitches. It erased three weeks of my work. It didn’t invoice over $20,000 worth of time in two months!!! THE WORST!!! The customer service is a Tricia’s and take several days just to resolve an issue. There’s no one to call it’s only email. Absolutely do not buy this.!!

Does the job. Good app. Helps me keep track of my hours for my job that I do remotely. I’m able to track & then send a report to my boss for each pay period. The only thing the drives me nuts is for custom dates on the Reports section is it always starts at 1918 for the year & then you have to scroll through to the current year. It’d be great if the year automatically went to the current year. Pretty sure anyone using this app didn't start logging their hours & using it in 1918.

Wasted my time. I just want a refund

Truly Outsanding -- 7 Stars. This App, and the companion desktop application for Mac and Windows, is truly the most useful app made for busy professionals who bill for their time an expenses. Lawyers and legal support professionals working for firms or agencies have an easy solution to tracking time by using the app alone. Small firms, solo practitioners, architects, contractors, mechanics, and anyone who uses time-based billing can simplify the task of entering multiple employee time, expenses, and billing across multiple projects and tasks, from a phone or tablet. Invoicing then becomes a piece of cake, compared to other programs, including Quickbooks and other timekeeping apps for iOS and Mac OS X O tried before discovering this one. This simple software has all you need, and truly warrants 7 stars. Seriously, I rarely review apps (second review ever), but this one deserves it.

LOVE THIS APP!. I’ve been using this app for several years and I absolutely love it. I pay for my employees to use it as well. I love that they can start a timer when they start working for me and they are able to divide their time between several of our clients that they may work with throughout the day by starting and stopping a second timer simultaneously, to make my billing efforts easier. And it couldn’t be any more simple to use. The fact that we can simply push a button to send a spreadsheet with the details for each project via email makes this app extremely efficient. I highly recommend this app.

Developer Stephen has your back!. I love OfficeTime Pro!I have it on my iPhone, Apple Watch, and Mac. It syncs flawlessly, and makes tracking my time and expense on a multitude of projects easy-peasy! The developer, Stephen, has always been prompt, polite, and helpful in responding to any issues I’ve encountered. I’ve been using the OfficeTime trio (iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch) for more than three years now. Worth every penny! It paid for itself the first day I used it.

Great App. I use this App every day. I tried a couple of different ones and OfficeTime is the best. Reasons: I love the basic UI, really easy to navigate. I have never lost any data Mac App is great for creating rapports Suggestions: •Cloud backup of OfficeTime database (daily/weekly) •Template window above notes where you can select pre defined templates. eg Desktop support for: •Password protect the App

Love this app!. I have been using this app for about 2 years now to keep track of my hours. I am a Real Estate Professional and sometimes track big blocks of time, sometimes just a few minutes for a phone call. This app is so easy to use. The data is easy to export. My accountant loves the report I give to her. It saves a lot of time and I love the real time details. I know there is even more that I need to take advantage of with this app, but I like that you can also keep it simple! I have just started using the desktop version with my phone and love how easy the data syncs! I almost lost my phone to a water accident and was happy that I have the synced data on my computer!!

makes timekeeping almost painless. Over the course of 20+ years practicing law in a variety of settings, the bane of my existence was timekeeping & billing. I hated, hated, hated it. When I recently started doing some freelance work in various fields, I spent a fair amount of time researching various Mac programs and settled on OfficeTime. I've been using the desktop and iPhone versions for over a year and am extremely pleased with them. They are simple to setup and (somewhat) customize, intuitive to use, and invoice generation is a breeze. Unlike many other programs I've used over the years, it appears to have been designed by someone who actually has been required to use a time and billing program, and who therefore knew what to include to make it useful, and what to leave out.

Good App. Good app for tracking work time on projects and allows for setting job cost rate to make it easier to invoice clients. Does allow multiple timers. Can export your tracked time data in various file formats including tab delimited, .csv, .txt and .xls. Can include or exclude column id field. Also offers file name prefixing when exporting if the data should need to be imported into a database program. It now includes a Today Widget to offer access to current/recent projects to quickly start and stop timers. I personally wish that the widget feature had been integrated 2 years ago, but I guess better late than never; can you say Agile, unfortunately not. Now I just need to decide if and when I'm willing to export all of my data from the app I switched too a couple of years ago.

Support saved the day. Was somewhat disenfranchised with the app over syncing issues but support saved the day. Not only was it timely but cleared up my syncing issues completely. Use this app daily- would highly recommend to anyone needing to keep track of time related jobs.

An indispensable solution to project/job based time tracking. This app has become one of the most critical pieces of software for this company, trumped only by Mail and Quickbooks. I have estimated at least a 10% increase in labor costs captured since implementing this app on all iOS devices. It has proven to be invaluable for mobile designers who work not only on the site they are at, but while there work on the dozen others they have running in other parts of the country. It will also be very easy for engineers in the office to integrate into their work flow making time tracking easy as they switch between many projects randomly as each day develops. The simple functionality of this app allows for quick, uncomplicated entries capturing just the right amount of information. I have what I need to track other costs like expenses, but simple effective time reporting has been elusive until implementation of OfficeTime. It would be profitable for us to buy each employee a top tier iPad and OfficeTime as the in crease in billable time accuracy would pay for such cost in 6 months. In short this app is a highly profitable powerhouse for time reporting and it's ROI (return on investment) makes it worth far more than the asking price.

Good logging but no built in calendar or list view. Downgrading to 1 star! Still waiting for my refund after two weeks! No response to any of my questions from customer support! Old school but useful UI and very nice real time totals for hours and billing/ expenses but this does not work for me due to lack of built in calendar, list or timeline. I was reluctant to try this without a lite or trial version, purchased the license based on promise of no questions asked refund. I requested a refund today, I will report back on how quickly the refund is delivered!

THE BEST Time Tracking App. I have been testing various time tracking apps for quite some time now. Tried Toggl and was happy with it until I updated my iPhone to iOS5 at which point Toggl started crashing, with no support. I tried other products and ran across this app. The price first seemed excessive, however I decided to purchase it and have been using it for 2 weeks now. My impassion is the creators of this app have really thought through everything a user needs to make their experience as smooth as possible. It is very intuitive and virtually no lag time. I understand there will be a sync feature added between the iPad and iPhone. I also received very timely and helpful responses Support. Definitely a keeper. It's so easy you actually WANT to use it.

My Go To. I’m a consultant who only makes money on billable hours. I stated using this app several years ago and soon realized I needed the pro version. I have not looked back. It does everything I need and just found out about the watch app I plan to download.

Awesome Program That Even My Clients Love. I have been using Office Time on my laptop since 2006. Office Time is so intuitive, easy-to-use and powerful. I take it to client meetings to keep track of my time. I use it to track my production time which allows me to accurately bill my time. Even my clients love it because it tracks so accurately; if my computer is idle for more than 6 minutes it pauses. Then I am offered an opportunity to delete the pause time or use it. That way, if I take a call from that same client I can include the time. I could go on and on, but it's so awesome you just have to buy this app (or get the free app . . . Fall in love with it and then buy the full version!) on reading other reviews, the only non-5 stars are people reviewing before they actually know how to use it. Take it from a long-time user, app is awesome. PS: Whenever you have questions or problems this company is really responsive. You actually get answers from the developers themselves. Too bad there's not 6 stars!

Great App. Excellent app, great support f developers!

Awesome time keeping app. Thanks for this great app, it makes it easy to keep track of complex data.

Easy to use. Great app. Easy to work out and straight forward to use and export data

Great. Great time management and billable hours optimisation tool

Uncluttered and straight forward time tracking. Tried three other time tracking apps before settling on this one. Main reasons are the uncluttered and reasonably straightforward layout and navigation, and not having to jump through hoops to create new projects. One tiny criticism is the small font used for the notes. When I'm (for example) designing a website the screen has the category 'website design in nice bold letters for every entry and the notes are the only way I have of discerning what specific sessions were for. Other than that small niggle, terrific!

Brillant. This app does everything it says it will. Is extremely easy to use. Well worth the $$'s.

An excellent and convenient app. Great app across platforms: easy to use yet can rack up to be complex. Great connection with iCal that means tracking activities is painless and automatic. Reports exceptional flexibility to slice this we and that. The first tracker I have ever had that is painless!

Easy, reliable and flexible. My team uses OfficeTime every day. It’s a huge help for our time billing process.

Pays for itself!. I've been running a business for years without logging time properly. This app is easy to use and keeps track of my hours, projects and costs for different job types. Before first job I did with this app has paid for itself because it is accurate to the second. No more guessing how much time I spent on a project!

Great app!!. A lot of my work is time based billing. This app (the full version) is very helpful. Very easy to use. A very pleasant interface. I am very happy to have bought it

Perfect for Freelancers. Really functional with expenses and time spent on project options. Thanks!

Perfect for me. I run a very small plumbing business and find OfficeTime a brilliant tool to help with both time sheets and invoicing. I love the reporting - seeing where I'm spending my time. On the negative side it isn't easy to sync with employees - tried it once and was concerned that jobs aren't easily shared. Perhaps data needs to be stored and retrieved from a cloud.

Great app, and great support. Very glad to see an app that suits my timekeeping needs. This app works a treat! I've already posted a suggestion and was pleased to see that my query hadn't gone unnoticed. Thanks!!! Many many thanks!

Great app, needs update for iOS 6. As per other comments, urgently needs an update to work with iOS 6 as the lack of rotation into landscape mode is very annoying and detracts from a brilliant product.

Some glitches at first.. Lost two months of info. Updated 19 March 2013. Asked if I wanted to transfer data to new version. All gone. Teach me not to download data to csv more often. Happier with this version.

Amazing!. This is an amazing little app that has helped me keep track of hours across multiple projects and clients. I highly recommend it.

So far SO GOOD!. Very easy to use. Finally I can get a clear calculation on how long a project takes from conception to completion which means I can quantify my worth to quote the right rate. So so happy. Good Job team!!

Simple. Great app, easy to use and captures time I would otherwise forget and never bill. I haven't worked out how to format the bills as I would like but I guess it would do this if I put the effort in

Essential to work. One of the most useful tools I've used. I do time billing for all my work and can track time and expenses across clients and client projects. The aggregate view for a week, month or year is great.

Outstanding Software. I have used the Mac Version and have been eagerly waiting for this. It is simple and easy to use and syncs brilliantly with my desktop software. Being able to track work as I do it means I don't overlook I need to bill for. This is must have software for any professional.

Wonderful app, and great support. Such a great app, and very easy to use app - I love it! And a very responsive support person who, in my case, went beyond the call of duty to help me. Thanks for an excellent product!

Fantastic!. I use this app everyday for work and find it invaluable. Love it!

Great App. Use it everyday to track varying projects I need to bill daily. Does everything I need!

Top stuff. Excellent

Love this app!. I work different shifts across different areas, so this app is invaluable! However it tends to crash when I use the calendar feature on reports. I would like to see a flat rate option alongside the hourly rate, this will help to log allowances etc.

Great app. Looked at a number of apps, found this to be the best. Great sync between iPad, iPhone and macbook pro.

Time Management In The Best Way. I have already been using OfficeTime on my iMac to keep track of time (naturally), clients and individual jobs after discovering the package about 18 months ago, and it has been an absolute godsend. Now when I am travelling or out and about (or at my other day job), it allows me to make notes, add time spent talking to clients and prompt myself when I get back to the home office and sync. Between having this on my Mac and my iPhone, I'm always within arms reach of my jobs at hand. All in all, if you need some time tracking software for your freelance business and you have an iPhone/iPad/Mac, this is the only one you need.

Bug with latest update. Great app. I use it every single day for multiple projects. Bug with latest ios6 update. Main page won't rotate, but when you log hours the little hours box sits in the opposite direction. Very annoying hope it's fixed very soon

Everything it should be!. Great app. Tells the truth about where your time goes. Terrifying ;-)

Mr. Great, easy to use. Being able to clock on and off and do split shifts is awesome

Terrible!. Complicated in use, no overall graphic formation on iPad, it's not worthy to spend AU$9 on it, just useless in work!

Simple app that’s REALLY helps. This is a simple way to tote hours worked for me as a designer who is often on many jobs at once. It makes billing at the end of a stage easy.

good. would be good to see some integration with accounting software such as xero and features such as a reminder to invoice client

Fantastic App!. Downloaded the free version first and was very impressed, I love how it is straight forward to use yet has plenty of functionality. After a week I purchased the full version!

One Happy User. Versatile software, used correctly does an awesome job. I am really impressed by the mobile app and the sync functionality. Easy easy easy!

this is a great tool. i've been tracking all of my project work with office time for about 6 months. i highly recommend it for anybody who bills their time by the hour

The best of its kind. I’ve been using it in my business for some years and find it easier and quicker to use than any others. I’m excited by changes in watchOS and ios13, which undoubtedly will make the app better still.

Brilliant. With cloud support this app would be 5 stars!

Easy to use. Great a for tracking how my time is used. The sync with desktop aspect is also good, as the desktop allows me to see greater summaries more comprehensively.

Simple and effective. Great app, works reliably and is a intuitive feel without dumbing down on features. The PC and iPhone sync is seamless. I find it is well thought out and seems to have flexible options when you need them and not where you don't. Feedback to the developer was responded to quickly and comprehensively.

Very good at what it does. I've been using this app now for some time and it's never let me down. When I've had a question they have responded quickly and expediently: they are prepared to take on board suggestions and always looking at ways to improve the app. This is an app that does what it's supposed to and all without the glitzy glamour that others promise and never deliver! Well done guys and keep up the great work😊👏👏👏👏👍

Great app but currently has a bug with iOS 6. Brilliant applications but the current version has a bug in iOS 6 that stops it from rotating properly with the device. Still usable but is very annoying. Well worth the money and I am sure this bug will be fixed soon.

Increased my Productivity.. I am a freelance digital designer and this app has helped structure my time and day. It is an excellent tool to record my billable hours. It also allows me understand how I use my time and the information allows me to make better choices about my priorities.

Been using for 7 years and still going strong. I've been using Officetime for 7 years now as a Graphic Designer, both as a lone freelancer and in a Studio environment. It's perfect for my needs, which are simply to record my time for each project (and by project category) so that I can then charge that time on. Simple. And affordable. There's no need anymore to pay hundreds of dollars for great software that just works. Thanks Officetime.

Simple. Easy. Useful.. The app works as promised. Syncing to the Mac version is a dream. No problems updating to this iOS + Mac scenario. Having the app on my phone means I can make notes on the fly more easily. Invoices have more detail and are getting paid faster. Magic!

Super handy. I find this super handy to use on my iPhone. Strangely the app on the mac laptop looks & feels totally different. But they sync well. Haven’t found any issues. Very pleased.

Excellent time tracking. Time entry is fast and simple. The software has good tricks to makes it a bit easier. The synchronization with the desktop installation was easy to set up and works reliably. This is the second time recording app that I have tried, and I will go no further.

Mr Chris the farmer. Highly recommend this app, it's got all the features you need and is not complicated with stuff you don't need. It's very quick and easy to make entries and export or report from. Support for a few left field questions I had have also been responded to very proficiently which is rare these days. This app enables me to monitor the most significant cost in my business - time.

Tried it and liked it.. I tried the product for a few weeks while I was freelancing. It worked well and because the full version offers so much value I upgraded. Very solid. Very happy user.

Perfect but needs a cloud. I only have to track my own hours to monitor what I do and where I spend my work time. OfficeTime allows me to this with absolute ease and accuracy. I have the app installed on my iPad and iPhone and both sync seamlessly to the version installed on my iMac at home when I get there. The only frustrated part for me is having to sync wirelessly as opposed to through a cloud. I would like for it to be there when I got home and across all my devices as sometimes I will have my phone with me other times my iPad. The interface is really nice and intuitive and the setup was easy. I self taught myself all I needed in a very short space of time. I use it daily and LOVE it. Give me a cloud and I'd rate it 5 stars.

5 starts. Great app easy to use. I would recommend to everyone!

Pas fort. J'ai achetée cette application il y a plus d'un an. Comme elle ne fonctionnait pas bien pour moi, j'ai demandé un remboursement ( qui est garanti a 100%). On m'a supposément envoyés trois chèques. C'est long la poste entre l'Angleterre et le Canada. Je pense que la garantie de remboursement est de la fraude pur et simple. Apple store devrait nous créditer directement quand le remboursement est garanti.

Garbage. Garbage

No support for recurring events in Calendar. I was looking forward to using this app when I read that it could sync with the desktop version which supports importing Calendar events. The problem is that it does not support recurring events. I though the price was too hight but since I really need Calendar import I thought I would buy it. I have been waiting for a year now for an update to address this oversight. Ideally sync with calendar should be available within the iPhone version but I would settle for syncing with the desktop if it worked as advertised.

Great app.. Using it almost 3 years.

Kidding, right?. Anyone that gave this PAID version fo the app any stars at all is related to the developers. A quick $8 grap and I'm not happy. The Windows desktop app has no resemblance to the iPhone or iPad app that I used. On Screen useless reports are available, nothing to paper. Interface far from intuitive. Good luck with this one!

Real timesaver. I love this app. it is very flexible and records my time flawlessly.

The Angry Birds of productivity apps. Except this one actually earns me money instead of wasting my time!

Great app. I don't know what others are complaining about, i love this app - perfect time tracker with a great ui. Though an update for the iphone 5 would be great.

Simple, effective when paired with desktop version. Great interface. No crashes at all. Reporting on the iPad app is limited but when paired with the desktop app, it is quite good. Sync between desktop and iPad is flawless so far.

Full featured, great.. Works as it should.

Fantastic mobile time tracking with desktop companion. I've been using the desktop version of OfficeTime for years, so I had to get the mobile app as soon as it came out. Synchronizing has been flawless and changes appear on the desktop & mobile apps after just a couple seconds of making changes. Having a mobile app has been great for tracking errands and expenses, as well as leaving the app open on the iPad to remind me to switch projects.

Nice app is even better. I have used this app for several years to capture time on various activities. The latest version has an improved look. Showing the categories within projects is especially useful for me.

Best Time Tracker. Out of all the time trackers, OfficeTime is the best. Tried dozens.

Plus and minus. Plus: User interface is great: entering a new day only takes two clics. Minus: no integration with Dropbox, no active range of dates : must delete entries at the end of the billing period.

Best of the bunch, by a country mile. I'd tried many time tracking utilities, read countless reviews. Had nearly resigned myself to a less than optimum experience. Then I tried OfficeTime on the desktop. That was 4 years ago. OfficeTime has been nothing short of instrumental in my company's day to day business. It's intuitive interface and amazing functionality is only matched by the quality of service delivered by the developers. Was thrilled when OfficeTime was available as a mobile app. It does not disappoint!

R Finlay CMA(Au) FCBA RPA. I'm impressed... this is the most effective and efficient time management system I've come across. The low purchase and implementation cost of Office Time was recovered within the first two days of use... small 1/4 hour billable tasks are no longer forgotten about. I can now track non-billable and billable\recoverable time for any of my clients... on the fly! I can quickly identify unbilled hours…generate invoices easily and review reports on where my time has been spent Thank you Office Time...!

Some bugs when syncing to iPhone. This is a great iPhone app and is easy to use. But, syncing between iPhone and Apple Watch has some issues. For instance if you started a timer for a project on the Apple Watch without the app being open on the iPhone the project will not record properly on the iPhone.

It’s ok.... I was looking for something as simple as toggl but that could sync between device through iCloud and be as simple. This is not it. That said, it’s an ok app. Just not for me.

Great. Been using OfficeTime for a couple of years, very happy with it.

Stuck in portrait mode - Fixed. This is a great app for what I need it for, but the latest version is stuck in portrait mode and will not go back. Fixed, now works correctly again.

Great app!. I've been using Office Time for a number of months now, and I'm finding it to be excellent. The interface is slick and intuitive, and the customer support team is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for the great app!

Office Time. It's a decent app. It does the basic of time tracking and segregation of time spent.

Good enough. Works well enough. The reporting export is not all that great. Does not allow tracking multiple projects at once. The watch app is garbage. Most of the time it crashes. If it does open, it messes up all the start / stop times on a project.

Excellent. App is clear and intuitive to use, and syncs perfectly with the desktop version too. An essential tool for anyone who bills time and/or expenses.

Wouach !!!. Just lost $8.00. This is the most useless piece of garbage I have bought from the App store. UI completely useless. Far from intuitive. Found another one that works far better than this one. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS APPS !!!

Does not sync between iOS devices. I purchased this expecting it to sync between iOS devices like most similar apps, but it will not. It seems that it will only sync with their expensive desktop software - and even without the price issue, I'm often away from my computers when I want to update my times and don't want to return to a desktop in order for changes to be propagated across my devices.

An easy timesaver. I've used Office Time for years. This App means I can add mr time in the field instead of manually entering it at home. I love it. My only suggestion - add a GST spot for expenses to the App and the invoices.

Love it. I use this every day to track dozens of projects.

Worth every single penny!. I have been using this app for the past three months and absolutely love it. The interface is simple and elegant, the features match exactly what I need and it has changed how I do my job. I have recommended this app at least 20 times since I bought it to friends and colleagues.

OfficeTime. This product gets better and better. Invaluable for any independent contractors looking for a complete solution to time recording and reporting

Très bon pour mon besoin. Merci!

Great. You get 6 stars when you add iCloud/DropBox sync between iOS devices and OS X app. Great UI - good balance of features and ease of use. I tried others - this is the best.

Easy to use. Great app, makes it easy to keep track of my work. Only thing I would like to see added is an option to indicate whether the time has been invoiced, paid, etc. Right now I am just indicating that in my notes for each job, but it could be easier! Great app overall.

The Best. Absolutely without question the best time tracking app. With OfficeTime on your phone or iPad never miss accurately tracking a minute; and with it on your computer you have a secure back-up with great reporting options (not that the iOS version's reporting is bad). For anyone whose time is money, this is simply a must have application at an incredibly fair price.

Officetime. It's great. Work from home, use it all the time, fits the bill. Nice for invoicing too. Would like live, real-time support though. Can't help but feel the automated answers with the fakey names are a little lame, and don't usually answer the question.

great. Great. But .....

Best timer for freelancer. I'll use it all days for my professional purpose.. I've tested 10 others app but this one is the best!!! Add iCloud backup in case of my phone died and it will be perfect!

Disappointed. Sure, it tracks time well and is nice to use, but that's only for time tracking. It falls down in a number of other areas. First, it's expensive! Second, it can only export certain projects, not date ranges, so after that first invoice you either delete your data or keep adding and sort out the mess when you export. Exporting is weak, would be nice if it exported to .xls, and the text export comes titled with a huge string of Chinese(?) characters. Finally, there's no cloud integration, I cannot sync my data to use on an iPhone and iPad. In sum, save your money. Do a google search for best time tracking apps (this one is conspicuously absent from most lists) and don't rely on the results spit out by the App Store.

It's great. It keeps track of my jobs to the T

Great app!. Easy to use with fast and helpful technical support. I have more than made up for the purchase price with time captured. Keeps notes from time sheets so they can be easily used again- love that. Really makes time keeping easy. Totally worth the money- pays for itself!! Just tried freshbooks (which is a monthly fee) because of a client preference. It was terrible. Quit that and referred this client to officetime instead. Love this app!

Love, Love, Love this app!. I just love OfficeTime. I've used many different time trackers and I feel this one is as close to being perfect as you can get. OT makes it super easy to track time for different clients and different tasks at different price points. And love that if I get distracted and stop working for a period of time it will ask me if I want to include the idle time or discard it. Customer service is great, they get right back to you when you have a question and I love how you can Tweet a question and it gets answered.

Best time tracking tool I have found. I have spent a couple of years trying different time tracking apps and methods. About a month ago I downloaded the trial version of OfficeTime onto my MacBook Pro and then onto my iPhone and iPad. Without doubt this is the best combinations of apps available for keeping track of time by client and task. I can take my iPhone and track time while I'm away, when I get back home it automatically syncs with my other devices. Very easy to set up and use, I need to do a little better at remembering to start and stop, but it very easy to edit time to correct mistakes or add in forgotten sessions. Very highly recommended, well worth the money.

Works great for multiple client billing. If you have to track and bill hours and services to multiple clients under multiple service categories (and multiple hourly rates), then this is the one to go with! It not only has the ability to use multiple, concurrent timers, but you can also go back and manually enter start and stop times or just "allocate" a specific number of hours to any given project. It's about as flexible as you can get!

Great app!. OfficeTime delivers on its promise and more. I really like this app, use it every day. Worthy of mention are: - Simple, intuitive interface. It is easy to use officetime, and entering your times is fast and easy. That's really important in day to day use - you don't want a cumbersome UI getting in your way. - Seamless and automatic sync with the desktop app - just switch them both on and everything gets synced automagically! - Use start-stop time tracking if you want, but also modify existing entries or create new ones by entering exact times. Some little points to improve: - it would be great if you automatically rounded (down) to the nearest second. One could make this configurable in the options, but for me tracking the seconds isn't useful - and the way it works at the moment, if I start an entry at 12:00 noon, and end it at 12:15, I get 14 minutes as the total (instead of 15), because internally the times are using seconds. - show daily totals in the blue separators in the time sheet view Satisfied customer, Richard Unger

Love it!. After a somewhat bumpy start a couple of versions back everything is working fine. I use it on my iPhone primarily, but also my iPad and keep it synced on my Mac. Was worried when I upgraded to a new MacBook Pro, but everything was there. Had a good response from customer service when I had questions about this and when they issued information via Facebook about some small problems with an update. No complaints now. It is great that it syncs between my 3 devices and it generates invoices easily. The time-saving from that alone is worth the cost of the apps.

So Much Potential. I have my own workflow already, but I'm using this app to augment it because it's the best timer app I've found so far. I really appreciate how responsive the developer is and here is what I sent to them by tapping their Feature Request button (which is very smart to have BTW) Feature Requests: * iCloud sync * DropBox support for exporting an invoice/timesheet * make Mac & iOS icons the same * ability to track mileage for house calls * support for adding a per trip fee – not clear on best way to do this currently * ability to email to client invoice with a link to where they can pay me online * if payment is made at time of service, ability to mark it as such on invoice emailed to client direct from app * landscape typing in notes - my invoice notes are extensive so I need to produce an invoice that makes this look nice for my clients; many of them refer to them for cheat sheets on what we reviewed and I use it to cover myself in case of a dispute * I also need a page devoted to my confidentiality agreement I really like the way the iOS apps are designed and I see much potential but it's not quite there yet for me to use full time. I'm using this as a timer, but not much else at the moment due to the lack of invoice support I require. I'll keep checking back. Thanks for your time :)

Office Time - try it you'll like it!. I have been using this app on the Mac for years - since its inception. The best in its class for keeping track of time and expenses. For a freelancer who often works on site without my computer, the addition of the iPhone version has made my job tracking much simpler and more precise. I'm just now working on syncing with Calendar, it seems to work fairly well. My only wish is that I could sync or import into Quickbooks where I do my invoicing.

Easy and powerful. I tried 5 of the most popular Hours/time tracking apps, and this one was by far the best, easiest to use, and most flexible. It allowed me to both enter a duration on any date, or record the time in the moment. Calculated different hourly rates, projects, notes and jobs. I could also go back and edit the time later, which is great for spec work that may not be billable until approved.

Great project time tracker. I've been using this for a couple of months now and it is the first time tracker that has been easy and intuitive enough that I actually kept using it. I've given up on all other trackers after a week or two. I love that I can use the parts I need and I gnome the rest without constantly being prompted and that I can easily customize the settings to enter data--and change it--to adapt to the way I really work. It's a great tool.

Love it!. I am an ex-Billings 3 & Pro user. This software serves my need. Wi-Fi syncing only and no cloud base syncing (no subscription). It sync fast and accurate on the background with the desktop version ($40). I don’t mind paying $40 for desktop version rather than $10/mo subscription from the other guy whose data syncing is totally unreliable. I am a graphic designer. The only issue I have with OfficeTime is the interface (very minor). It just needs another section named “Client”. At the meantime, I just use “Categories” and name a client name under it. No biggie.

The Best Time-Tracker Available. I've tried several time-trackers. Nothing comes close to OfficeTime. With very little effort, you'll have detailed records of your time. IT'S FLEXIBLE: Record your work into many projects or summarize with fewer projects. Get even more detailed with categories -- or skip categories. Optionally track expenses and billable time at multiple rates. Even track the time of others on your team if you want. DESKTOP & MOBILE: Use just the iOS app, or the desktop app, or sync and use both. I'm using both and syncing to iCal. Syncing is easy, although it's not yet cloud-based. EASY & FAST: You'll be up and running quickly. Adapting this to your workflow is more intuitive than any other time-tracker I've used. GREAT REPORTS: Although you devote little time to the app, the reports are quite detailed. Both the iOS app and the desktop application can export reports to Excel, Numbers, and text. If you've ever wondered whether tracking your time can help you, this is the app to try.

LOVE this app! Some possible additional features....... Hi - I absolutely love your app! I am using it to keep records of my design work on a few home remodel projects. I would love to be able to incorporate in my notes area somewhere - the capability to add photo's (of my layouts, the home itself- to document different areas as well as illustrate the progress.). Also I would love to add correspondence e-mails or text messages into the project. That way ALL my information would be in one location. Please advise on this. I would greatly appreciate your time. Maybe these ideas are already incorporated and I just can locate them? I am also sending you a direct e-mail. Thank you! Kris

Very pleased. I have been using OfficeTime for a little more than a year to track time and handle billing for multiple clients and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. It simply works, does what you would expect it to do and has the features that I need. The invoicing template is pretty plain but you can customize it very easily and creating an invoice literally takes 15 seconds. The sync feature between my Mac and iPhone is great and it is also very easy to create backup files to archive your data. This app just makes my life easier, and that is definitely worth the money I paid!

Exactly What My Made-to-Order Business Needs!. I sell hand crocheted items and this is EVERYTHING I need to figure out how much I should charge for my goods. Crochet projects are almost never done in one sitting, so this is the perfect app to make sure I only charge my customers for exactly the time it took me to produce a project. Takes all the math out of pricing my items and keeps everything organize for back reference. There's nothing else like it, well worth the $8!

Efficient and easy. I have tried several apps to keep track of my projects at work. I am not in sales so I don't need all the extra bells and whistles that are in many time tracking apps. I just wanted to be able to do a reasonably specific timesheet at the end of the week and be able to tell my boss what I was doing all week. I especially like the timer function. I can start it and stop many times as I switch between projects. Makes doing my status at the end of the week much less painful.

Exactly what I was looking for. This app has all the features I was looking for: multiple projects that support multiple bill rates, timers that allow you to manually edit the duration, export to excel, most importantly it's implemented flawlessly. I balked at the $8 price for what I thought would be a simple time tracking app I could get for much less. I tried a number of others but they just do not compare in terms of quality. This app and Wunderlist are two apps that I use daily but have zero complaints about. (actually I wish Wunderlist supported recurring tasks, but that's it) Mad props to the designer and authors of the software.

Phenomenal flexibility. As a field biologist and monitor, one of my tasks is to keep track of the various sites, activities, and issues associated with construction work. This often involves moving from site to site, talking with various people, noting issues of concern and tracking my time for all of it, all in the course of a single day. This used to mean snatching little snippets of time to keep track, and sometimes I had to sit late at night and reconstruct the day. Not any more. Now i just start the clock on OfficeTime, make some brief notes, and I'm done. Each task is tabulated and recorded. Thanks, OfficeTime.

No customer support. So disappointed, honeymoon over. Purchased the app. Slick looking, easy interface, love the flexibilty of projects, categories, etc. When you export it and open it in Excell none of the info that you painstakingly entered in the notes section about what you actually did for your client actually transfers. My clients want to know specifically what they are paying for. It is just the briefest of summaries. I am going to have to go in and copy it all over again. Complete and total waste of my time. I will use the Notes app that came free with my phone to track my time from now on. What have i learned, don't trust your life to an app without verifying the customer support first.

Quit Billings and made the switched!. Haven't felt this excited about an app for a while now. Was skeptical about purchasing this app but it does exactly what I need it to do. Easy to start using with adding projects and multiple timers. Time sheets and reports portion is what I have been looking for as it categorizes by time. Highly recommend for freelancers in the design field. My critical feedback is to make this app background compatible This app truly pays itself! Simply thanks!

Great app - syncs with desktop. The desktop app is very versatile, and I have just started using this iOS companion, which has support for reporting expenses. I have a couple feature requests: 1. Please consider adding an attachment capability to the Expense form for photos of receipts or emailed receipts. 2. I would like to be able to select and merge two consecutive sessions on the timesheet (esp. on the desktop version) into one session to easily fix the problem where I started a new session when I meant to continue an existing one. Really, I should just have used the space bar to Resume, but I didn't know such a hotkey existed until recently. 3. Please consider moving 'Resume' (space) and 'Stop' (CMD+.) into the QuickStart menu instead of the Edit menu. (It didn't feel obvious to look for it in the Edit menu.) Thanks for making these great apps!

App is 4 stars. Support is 5 stars. Developer is 6 stars.. I am very picky when it comes to purchasing apps. This app is not cheap, but the app is totally worth every penny. (I still think the software is not 100% designed to meet my needs - I still have my unspoken wish list.) I am very glad that I purchased this app, because of the prompt support that I received. I am 100% satisfied with the support. I am glad this developer designed OfficeTime! Like I said before, this app is not 100% perfect (for me), but this developer will make the app 100% perfect.

Amazing app. I have been using this app for over a year. As a private consultant it is important that I am able to see how much time I have spent on each of my clients. This application helps me do that in so many ways. I would recommend this application to anyone needing a time keeper application. I have tried many other time keeping applications and this one is the one I liked the best. It is easy to set up and easy to use. And there are no monthly fees. I really wanted to give these guys a review. Their ap has really helped me sort out single and multiple projects and rates. They have earned a positive review. I will likely be getting their desktop app for printing reports for my business records.

OfficeTime makes me $$, what else can you ask for?. I am a long-time user of the desktop app, and can't imagine doing my consulting work without it. Incredibly easy tracking of time and expenses, easy invoicing and export, even sync between computers via iCal. The iPad app is a very natural extension of the desktop application. By itself, it's a create time-tracking app, supporting multiple projects and rates with ease. Combined with the simple wifi sync with the desktop app, it means that no matter where I can track my time, and get a snapshot of billable hours for any project, and I never have to worry when it comes time to bill. If your time is money, this app will help you make the most of both.

Painless time-tracking and invoicing. OfficeTime makes it easy to create projects and track time for each and every work session. You start a new session, categorize it from a drop-down menu, add a quick descriptive note, and then let OfficeTime take over. If you walk away from a work session and forget to pause the timer, OfficeTime reminds you when you return to work, and gives you the option to automatically subtract your idle time from the total. Generates reports and invoices too. For me, this app has taken the drudgery out of time-keeping and paid for itself many times over.

Easy to use, better than the rest. I just upgraded for the full version after using the lite for a couple of months. This app is great, especially if you work on the go. It's straightforward and very easy to use, tracks jobs individually, and helps me provide accurate invoices. No need to manually track your time! I can take my work with me and I love having my timesheet in one place that I always have access to.

Really Worth the Buy. Here is an app that will save your time. I haven't known one better for this category. Customer support and feature requests are answered very quickly! Coupled with their desktop (Mac/PC) application, this works incredibly! I don't know what all the fuss is about from the other people rating it!! Sure, they could work on updating their report export, but hold your horses. Don't give someone negative ratings without giving them time to fix them!

Surprisingly useable on the iPhone. I'm a long time user of the desktop app on both the Mac and PC. I bought the mobile version "just in case". This week I needed to use it and was very pleased with the usability of the mobile app. Very well thought out and very well implemented. Syncing was a no-brainer. I work in IT and am very sensitive to apps that help vs. apps that get in your way. This one does what you need and does not get in your way when doing so. One way I rate an app is with the question “Would I buy that app again?” The answer is a resounding yes.

Great app. Started out with the free version and quickly bought the full version. We can email reports to our Excel program which makes keeping track of everything on the fly absolutely perfect! There is room for improvement and we have emailed some feature requests to the developer who has a nice link right in the app for such requests. Right on!

Couple of things.... This app really gets a lot right, but there are just a few additions that would help me out. 1. Client payment tracking- it would be so useful to have a simple way of tracking how much a client/customer has paid and how much he/she has left to pay 2. Update the desktop app - going between iOS and Mac OSX versions of this app is literally night and day and makes it really hard to understand how they both can work together. I hope the developer is working to make the desktop app as easy and aesthetically pleasing as the iOS app

Worth the Purchase Price. I'm a daily user of the desktop version of this app. This app is so much more pleasant to look at than that one (I know, looks aren't everything, especially for a productivity app). Even though I downloaded it tonight, I had it synced with my laptop version in minutes and was able to start using it productively right away. Highly recommended, especially if you have the desktop app.

An app you can rely on for time tracking. There are very few apps I’ve purchased on the App Store that I not only use every day, but depend upon. OfficeTime is one of those apps. It allows me to keep an accurate accounting of the time I spend with each client and their individual projects. It syncs flawlessly with other iOS devices and with my Mac! It has great reporting features, and it also syncs with my Google calendar. Best of all, it comes with fantastic support. Support emails are answered quickly and thoroughly. I’m a definitely a happy customer!

Finally, OfficeTime for iPhone. I have relied on OfficeTime on my Mac to keep time and create invoices for my consulting business. It was by far the best of several programs I had tried. But without the same ability to track time for calls and emails while away from the computer, I know I was losing precious billable time. This new program solves all that. It synced perfectly - once I reset the desktop to accept incoming network connections! The support folks were very quick and helpful in responding to my emails and I had it working in no time. The interface is so easy to use! This App will have paid for itself by the end of today.

Almost there, a bit confusing and no invoice creation.. User interface is not straightforward really, and in order to create an invoice, you have to send a CSV file to Numbers or Excel or another application,if you have one of those. If you don't you're stuck. I gave it three stars because I was able to sync my devices to my computer very well, and once you do figure out the UI, it's OK, but without the invoicing it's not good for me. I have switched to Hourskeeper until they get the invoicing built into the app, if that will ever happens.

Fast & Accurate = Productive. Was spending way too much time on taking notes, finding the scribbles, and porting them over to my company's time card system. OfficeTime has cut that burden by at least half, with more accuracy to boot. Now my accounting for time spent on various projects is no longer put off til the last minute. And with the notes and awesome backup functions, no more guesswork. Highly recommend this app.

Perfect. I don't usually buy apps but this was recommended by a coworker and is perfect for keeping track of time spent on work projects. Has a billing and expenses feature, which I don't need, but could be useful to people who bill clients. Gives you a total of time spent, which can be exported to the computer. A suggestion is to integrate tracking of miles or distance for people who travel.

Perfect for a web developer. As a web developer, I need to keep track of my customers hours for certain projects. I also need to keep track to know how long certain projects take me so I can bid similar jobs appropriately. This tool has been a true godsend for me. I can separate projects, create monthly reports, track productivity. I've actually fired two accounts based on the time they take and the amount they are willing to spend. It's extremely easy to use and has tons of functionality for my needs.

Excellent! Exactly what I wanted. This app, when used in conjunction with desktop version is the perfect solution for an IT consultant to track hours on projects. I've used another iOS based time tracker for many years with excellent results, but the ability to access the same data from the desktop allows me to more easily manage/track my time with better notes. The reporting/invoicing features are a nice bonus! This app is well thought out and worth the investment.

Great!. Great app that makes it simple and easy to get the right info. Although multiple items can be tracked easily throughout a day, it would be cool if when you paused a job project and restarted it the data would track the start stop times. That might be asking a lot from a coding/database standpoint. My thought was simply the csv data showing I was finished 1 hour before I really was if I started a job then got called into another project meeting for an hour then restarted the job. The time is tracked from the original start point. It works great though and recommend to anyone that is looking for simple and efficient time tracking.

My Most Used App. I literally use this app all day every workday. I work from a home office, and the company requires that we account for every minute and assign it to each individual project. This is the only way I can keep track of my time in any reasonable manner. I can edit my time when I forget to switch projects in the app, by going to the timesheet, clicking on the project, then clicking on the blue bar (hrs & mns). The only thing I think is missing is color-coded categories, akin to Microsoft exchange email categories. I'd like to be able to quickly add a red/yellow icon to some entries.

Absolutely Fabulous!. As a freelance writer and consultant, I depend on accurate timekeeping for my livelihood. OfficeTime for Mac and iOS is an absolute lifesaver. It makes tracking and recording my time almost effortless - just a few taps and I'm good to go. As a result, I get more accurate time records, which means fewer hours given away because I can't account for them. OfficeTime for Mac and iOS are an absolute bargain and definitely on my must-have. Legal professionals, consultants, and others who bill for your time, you NEED this app!

EASY to use. I am a small practice attorney. I bill everything--and OfficeTime can handle hourly billing, flat fee billing, and expenses. I liked the iPad app so much that I purchased the desktop version so that I can sync and make great looking invoices with ease. All of this cost me less than $75 bucks, and set me up to start my business in short order. I do recommend, however, that you give some particular thought to how YOU need to bill when you start to create projects and categories. I had to go through some trial and error, but I finally decided that client names would be projects and various legal tasks would be the categories (with the corresponding hourly rate attached). This way, I can bill at various rates.

Money maker app. Officetime is great app that pays for itself. I am a criminal defense attorney and Officetime has made me money. I am required to use a web based billing program for indigent defense. Although the indigent defense billing program is available on the iPad it is not convenient since it is a slow process. Officetime is just the opposite. It is an easy and quick process to capture time. I use Officetime on my MacBook, iPad, and IPhone. It does not matter what device I have on me when I need to capture my time - it is a quick and easy process. As a result I quickly and consistently capture all of my time. I estimate that I am now capturing an extra 20 hours a month. You cannot go wrong with Officetime!

Works as it should. I use office time every day to keep track of billable hours, I switch tasks often and Office Time has met all my needs. It is easy to use, runs in the background, lets me resume a paused task instead of starting a new one, I can edit start and end times (if I forgot to start or stop the timer) and I was surprised at how many different report it can run. It actually does everything it says it does and does it well.

So far so good!. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I only just started using it. But having tried nearly all the time tracking apps, I have to say it looks like we have a winner! From free apps to rather expensive apps, nothing has been able to combine a slick simple UI with powerful analytics and exportability until Office Time. And at first I was put off by the *optional* desktop app, but at less than $50, (I'm working off the free trial for now) what's not to like? I can't wait to get this app into the hands of my employees and finally have a handle on time tracking!

Absolute must-have. Office time on the Mac has been my go-to for a couple of years now to track projects and clients. The iOS version ties in very nicely with the desktop version. It's kind of freeing when I show up on site to just hit the start timer on my iPhone and get to work. I put expenses and time for multiple projects on the phone. When I'm ready to bill I open up the app at home, everything syncs with the desktop app, some things sync to ical, and invoices print in a couple of clicks. Fast, beautiful, logical.

Get into great life rhythm with this app.. Being self employed, my life and work load are in constant flux. I can find myself focusing too much in one area and dropping others too long. I use this great app periodically to examine my life and work patterns. The reports are great. Like checking my weight or blood pressure, using this app every couple weeks for a period of time helps me to recalibrate and stay in a balances rhythm. I use both the desktop and mobile app and find them to work well together. No issues found. Worth the price

Best app for time tracking. I LOVE this software. A key piece to tracking time and time-sheets and invoices that I need to prepare for a variety of clients has defiantly been using a simple time tracker I choose OfficeTime for this because it's easy and the reporting works exceptionally well for me the new versions for IPhone and IPad focus on ease-of-use recognizing that if time tracking is simple to do, users will be more likely to take the time do it OfficeTime takes great care to minimize how many finger taps it takes to do something it can preselect the most common task for a project, allow one tap entry of common notes and let users edit anything they can see, even a report with a tap super easy, super effective.

OfficeTime has been a GODSEND to my little one-person consulting business. I started my own small consulting business in the fall of 2012 and purchased the iPhone app as well as the software for the MacBook Pro. This app is INDISPENSABLE for me -- it syncs to the Mac, prints invoices, etc. For the price they charge for it, it paid for itself in less than an hour, and whenever I've had any minor issues (e.g., just recently having trouble syncing when I was traveling away from my office), they have been incredibly-fast with very helpful responses. My own view is that OfficeTime is one of the best kept secrets for tracking time -- I've recommended it to many people who I know and I use it EVERY day!!! THANKS for a GREAT product that you have continued to enhance in the time I've had it!

This is a wonderful app.. This app is fantastic. I'm an attorney at a very small law firm and this program makes keeping track of time so simple and intuitive. The interface is slick, nice and easy to use and understand. I love that I can edit the time entries manually. I have the clocks for ease of use but am not a slave to them. This app is my hands-down, go to, time tracking app for my IPAD. I can't comment on other apps that are out there but I don't need to experiment because this everything I need to do perfectly!
