This app is terrible. I have used many different EMR mobile versions over the years and this one is the worst by far. The capabilities are VERY limited. You cannot even put in a simple note. When we contacted the company we were told that there were no plans to improve this function. It is basically only good for scheduling patients and reading previously scanned documents. And the most frustrating thing is that the security features are not only way too intense, they cause you to not be able to log in sometimes. Are you actively using the app for more than five minutes? Got to put your password back in. Switched to another app for half a second to look at an X-ray? Got to put your password back in. Trying to reopen the app without using it for a few minutes? Good luck with that because it is going to say that it no longer works and you have to restart it. Sending an email through the app and you had to check your contacts page? Guess what, now everything is erased because whoever created this app is a moron and doesn’t know anything about how people practice medicine in a practical sense. The EPIC mobile app is way less strict with the password thing. This app is frustrating and barely worth the space on your phone. If you are thinking about wasting your money on CareCloud for your practice don’t do it. The developers need to trash this entire thing and start from scratch.

I love CareCloud. It is a phenomenal software for medical practices. I want readers to know that this review is only getting 2 stars because I think the carecloud app needs an update. However, the entire software in general also needs an update.
It would be highly convenient to make the app more efficient.
I would like for the carecloud app to be updated in the following areas:
1. Create new patients
2. Edit patient demographics
3. Incorporate the carecloud patient portal into the app for employees.
4. Allow e-prescribing so that we don’t have to call pharmacies all day long and not bother the doctor to create a new “simple encounter” in order to electronically send medications to pharmacies (this is a problem on the actual software as well).
5. Create a better method for notifying the office when pharmacies/ patients request a medication refill.
6. Automated phone calls for appointment reminders (software in general). The automated text messages are great, however, many older patients still lack cell phones.
7. Be able to instantly fax a patients face sheet from carecloud directly. Currently, we have to print them and fax them, or download them and save them to the patients chart and then send them electronically. This simple feature would save so much time during the busy work day.
8. Provide more details in carecloud referrals. Provide more than just the name of the provider we are referring to. Currently, the doctor will print the referrals and the front desk employees will write the providers specialty, phone number, and address on the referral and then scan the referrals into the patients chart. This process takes up an incredible amount of time for us. It’s would be extremely helpful if that information could be printed out on the referrals and have the referrals automatically load into the patients chart for easy access if we needed to print them out again/ send them to the doctor we are referring the patient to.
There are many others but these are the big ones that we would really like to see happen.
I know you guys can do it! Carecloud is great! I would just like for it to be even greater!

Frustratingly slow 2015 - Therapist
Id like an option to receive notifications when clients are checked in/out. Id like to be able to send appt confirmation text/email from the ios app.
So Incredibly slow, that i dont want to do anything besides look at current schedule that originally displays. Anywhere u click it takes a long time to load or freezes. Took 5 mins to add a pt to my schedule. Please make this app faster!

My office of five providers use this software. I always look at my schedule on my iPhone 6+ but during the last few days, it tells me I have no appointments on any day, past or future when, in fact, my schedule is full. Un-installing and re-installing improved nothing. Very disappointed.

It works but wish that block out from the appointment app could be added....as management I have many meetings that are entered as block outs and don't show up in the app...frustrating!

I am a clinical psychologist who uses the CareCloud software in private practice. The companion app is handy for taking a quick glance at patients scheduled for the day; however, the app is buggy (it freezes anytime a Friday is selected and the app does not load at all if opened on a Friday). The app is also limited in features (you can view patients' charts and existing notes but are unable to create new notes). Would love to see an update that addresses these issues in the near future.

Great app that helps me work on the run. I check my schedule as soon as I get up each morning and use it frequently when I'm out of the office. As new features are added it will certainly help me be more productive and communicate with my patients more efficiently.

I was really excited about CloudCare Companion, because it meant I could finally check in/out my clients on my iPad! Unfortunately, it is only available for providers, which would mean my boss, but not the rest of us therapists. This tool needs to be available to all users of CloudCare, because we are the ones who are doing the work with clients and need to check them in and out. I don't want to lug my computer with me, as I do home visits, but unfortunately, until they make this app one that we can all use, that is what I will have to do.

Shows the patient balance to all provider. Can't control what info is sent to the iPad. Not all provider / staff should/need to see the clients balance. The app is very limited. Not a complete app.
