Not working. Does this app no longer work???

Entertaining. Just enough to keep me occupied while the TV is on. I like the way the tiles collapse and shift and that you can start over without a penalty.

Good gameplay, poor level selection. I was really pleased with how smoothly this game operated and how original the idea was (especially the movie quotes level), but I was a little annoyed by the repetitive music, which consisted of one track played over and over. Also, I think the ad in the app store misleads you into thinking the game is free, when really you have to purchase the majority of the available levels. With only five being free, it's actually more accurate to call this a demo.

Exercising. Word collapse is fun and entertaining while keeping your brain sharp.

I don't like free games that aren't free. The game is ok. My 8 year old liked it as did I. But once you complete the starter pack you have to make in app purchases in order to keep playing. Unless you want to reset the games and complete the starter pack again. No fun in that! I have deleted the game from my phone. I am not opposed to buying games. I've bought plenty and downloaded many free ones as well. But don't try to fool me with a free game that isn't free. You won't get me spending a few bucks a week on new packs. Each pack is .99 and will last a day or so depending on how often you play. Not worth it!

I enjoy this game.. This is a single player game, but it doesn't get boring too quick. I like the challenge. It's not insanely hard, but it's not a cakewalk either. I suspect there are several "ways" to get the order of words in some puzzle. (I have yet to test this) Some of the bigger puzzles would be extremely difficult if there was only one exact sequence. I think the concept of themes is nice. It gives a flow and lends to better concentration. That also makes the challenge a bit easier.

Dead app?. Completed all the free puzzles years ago. Was a very entertaining word game. I recently went back to reset the game and play them over again, but it won’t load. I get the sign-in screen for Game Center and when I hit cancel, I just get a screen with a single star. Given that the developer hasn’t updated it in a few years, I assume they’re not going to bother fixing it.

Word Collapse. This app in defunct. And that was after I bought several packs for it. I enjoyed playing it, but I am not a fan of its unannounced departure.

Fun. This game is fun and the higher levels of the paid add-on packs can be pretty challenging and take a lot of time to complete. I've finally ran out of packs though - please develop more. One reviewer mentioned ads - I don't remember seeing any so either I'm too absorbed in the game or they aren't there in the paid add-ons because it's been awhile since played the free levels. A few improvements - an undo feature that would reverse at least the last choice you made, also sometimes a word that fits the them but isn't meant to be part of the solution can't be used - why not recognize the word anyway and make it harder to solve by doing so. Lastly using more varied words instead of the same ones in different levels. Overall still fun and addictive!

Fun game. Fun game to keep your mind active, I like being able to redo puzzle without penalty

Have to pay $1?. You can't do anything but pay a dollar to play this game. Not wasting my money. Stupid feature.

Won’t open. App freezes-won’t open. Please fix. It has been like this for a long time!!!! I have receive no response from developer and app still does not work

Word Collapse. I love this game & it is very addictive! I wish I could of given it 5 stars, but unfortunately, when you get stuck and work on a puzzle and want to move on, you either have to get it with 5 clues or wait an additional 24 hrs to get any additional help . . . UNLESS YOU PAY $.99 for 20 clues. I was recommending this to everyone until I realized this. It is one thing to charge a nominal fee for new puzzles - still ridiculous to only get a few for $.99 - but for clues, C'mon! So this is a great game if you want to pay $5-$20/day to play. Otherwise, keep looking. I'm sure another one just like it will be released soon for free or a more reasonable amount.

Stupid Cat Icon. Hey, I actually found this game relaxing & interesting until I opened it 2 days ago & this stupid French-looking cat showed up on the screen like it was waiting for app to load but it NEVER did. Shut it down, restarted it over & over...get nothing but that stupid cat icon. I even just left it "loading" (I can only assume that's what it's doing) for 20 mins & still nothing. No one wants to sit & wait forever for a simple app to load. Had nothing to do with my wifi or phone, everything else works fine. Sorry, had to delete it.

Fun game. I don't play this game often, but when I do, it's fun.

Just updated—doesn’t work. I just now reinstalled the app, but it never gets past the opening screen. The animal is glancing back and forth, but no taps and no time waiting do anything. It never gets past that screen…..

Word collapse. I love it tremendously. It help you learn. A real learning experience for my son and myself. I dont know all the answers but I appreciate the knowledge it is showing me and teaching me and my child. I mean cheese hey I didn't know there was a much of it as it is. The countries food drinks names cars etc. I can go on. It is very educational only how you use it. My son lives it and he only 6. I am teaching him now while he is young. And it helps him on his spelling. We love it. Thanks so much. This is so worth the purchase. I will eventually get the whole game. Amen to the inventor. Thanks a million.

The perfect challenge!. I can't explain why this is so fun, but it is. Before I even finished the {very generous} free Starter Pack, I purchased the Christmas Pack which was a blast! Went back to complete the starter pack and then purchased the 80's Pack. I love the way the game works and the sounds associated with the actions. High-quality game. No complaints! Hope more themed games are added regularly.

Fun. So far pretty fun sitting and playing this while listening to the tv.

Brain Teaser. It’s fun and challenging!

Wow, I'm impressed!!!. This is a fabulous word game!!! It is so refreshing to have come across a word game that is so wonderfully unique! I can easily see the words that I'm supposed to highlight, but sometimes it just isn't so easy to eliminate the intruding letters that get in the way so that you can get all your "duckies" in a row. LOL Download and give this game a try; you sure can't beat the price, and you may just fall in love with it as quickly as I have! ((~.~))

Not bad, but needs a few things.. Sort of fun, but would be better to get a score instead of HAVING to clear the board. Having to clear it one way only makes it less fun. Also, how about an "undo" please? I hate having to start over if I make a wrong move. Let me just go back one or more steps. And repeating words is just lame. You can do better than that. Lastly, I have not bought a pack for fear that the ads will not go away in paid packs Anyone, are there ads in the paid packs? (that would just be so wrong.)

Doesn’t work. App opens to a cat and that’s it there no game just a cat looking around…nothing ever loaded..

Short games, nice diversion. Some of the games are hard, many are easy, and a few are of moderate difficulty. Each set is made up of about 10 games on a theme and each of those games have about 10 puzzles in them. I like that each puzzle can solved then the game set aside until I have the next small break and want a diversion.

PLEASE update! Not working anymore!. Clever, terrific game! 5 stars until now. Please update. Not working. Is it not compatible with iOS. It says, “Welcome back.” Cat appears but game doesn’t load.

Loved it when it worked. Trying to play this game and it never opens up. Just the animal on the screen. With a 10 floating…..can you help?

I’d love to enjoy it like these other reviewers BUT. As much as I like the little cat in the loading pic, he’s apparently stuck there forever so I never actually get to have all the fun that everyone’s having hahahahaha but for real mine never finishes loading, I don’t know why. Fun challenging. Loved it

Broken. I used to enjoy playing this game but the last few times I’ve opened the app, it’s stuck on the cat loading screen. It’s been a while so I’ll assume the app isn’t being updated.

Doesn’t work.. Downloaded. Says there is a connection error (there isn’t). Game freezes.

I actually prefer the newest version. I wasn't sure I wanted to try the update after reading the reviews but I had already finished the other version. I am glad that I did. The letters are bigger and much easier to highlight (which the letters will do when you select them - they light up so that you don't lose your place). Each groups is themed and each round in the group will contain the words you used in the previous round plus adds one so that they get progressively bigger and more challenging. With that being said this is not a difficult game to master but it is just challenging enough to keep you coming back. Great little go to game without time limits or needing coins or watching ads. There really is nothing that I could find to complain about.

Connection error. TWO YEARS AND NO REPLY OR FIX! Even after deleting & downloaded it again it still gives error. Cat in middle of screen with dangling star that has 10 on it.

But now it’s not working, just says I’m signed in, but the app itself won’t load the game at all. Just keeps showing that cat. Probably will delete it if you guys can’t tell me why it’s not working.

Word collapse. My first impression of word collapse was that it seemed interesting. As it turns out it actually is. What happens in the game is, you have a whole lot of different words muddled up. You need to try and find those words and collapse the words in order, to finish the level. There are a number of different levels in this game in each different subject, from names of fruit to famous quotes from movies. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves spelling and word puzzles. Being good at crosswords would also help too. I'm rating this game 4 stars.

Fantastic Game. This is a really addictive and fun game to play. I've been playing for almost three hours non stop. It's challenging and fun and great exercise for your brain. Highly recommended +++

Cute but expensive. This game is pretty simple. The interface is nicely laid out and a breeze to play. Most people would at least be entertained if they like this style of game. But paying that much for word packs seems a little steep. Make a single combined all levels pack and people might consider it. Paying $10 for packs that might give me 2 hours of entertainment ain't worth it.

Can't find the words. Some thing is wrong can't find the words for the puzzle named you know you are old when....I have tried for weeks #13 impossible.

Great But???. Love the game, but would like to get it on my computer or tablet to so I can play it ALL the time. Why did you change the colour of the letters to white, it hurts my eyes if I play for a while. It didn't when the tiles were brown.

Was looking for a one player game. This game is great if you're needing some alone time. I love playing it because you don't have to wait for the other player to take their turn. For me, it's just another way to relax and think about something different for a while.

Fun, but needs more background design. This game is really cool & I love the concept. The only major complaint I have is that the background never changes throughout the levels & stays green (yuck!) and the letters should be different colors for each level as well. This would add alot more eye candy to an otherwise fun game.

Hybrid Game. It's like a cross between a word search and a crossword puzzle, but better. It's fun and challenging, and because the levels get progressively harder, never boring. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes word games!

I LOVE THIS GAME. This game is so addicting! My only wish is that there were more free categories (maybe they could come with new ones in upgrades for those who purchase the game.) Adding new categories can get expensive for those of us who want to keep adding different challenges.

Enjoyably frustrating. While this game is easy to play, it is something you easily could become addicted to. The idea of the game seems so simple yet can be very frustrating at times. Is the most fun that I've been able to have with the word game in a long time.

Ads play loud sounds even with sound off!. I used to like this game but it has had a problem for a while now that made me delete it. Even with game sound off and phone volume turned down, the ads come on and play sounds at top volume. This means the game is no longer suitable for playing while waiting for appointments, at restaurants, on work breaks, etc. which is why I have games on my phone. Several other games have the same issue and I am no longer playing any of them.

My absolute favorite. Of all the iPhone games I've played, this is my favorite by far. I played it each night before bed, purchased each expansion pack, and now, having finished every single puzzle, am dying for more. This game is clever, fun, and completely addictive.

love. love it--and i am a hard-to-please-game-player! would like if there were a list or bank of words with each theme --it might help with words like "anorak" which i dont think is used here in the US.

I love it!. Can get frustrating when you are stuck on a word and out of hints. You just need to use them wisely. I wish there was more free levels. I bought more cuz its addicting but it would have been nice to have more options.

Fun!. I like the app for the most part. Especially the proverbs one. (Who knew I knew so many??) I thought they'd be Bible proverbs though. And wish you didn't have to pay for each game. Should be one price. And for cheap bc once you go through the 200 or so, which doesn't really take too long, it's kind of boring.

Word collapse. Warning: addictive!! You have 5 hints per 24 hours--recommend if you need all of them and have used your allotment, think of it as a good stopping point--come back with a fresh eye.

Good game/greedy pricing. Love this game, but it's very disappointing that we have to pay for each puzzle pack. There should be one set price for the game. It's a real turn off to have to pay for each individual puzzle pack. Not sure I want to continue playing because of this issue!

Strangely addicting. You won't be sure about this game at first, but then 30 min later you'll suddenly realize that you haven't gotten any work done and your neck is cramping, yet you don't care

Just started playing. I only played for a couple hours so far & I find it fun & challenging once you get to the harder level. It doesn't seem like there are very many categories but again I only recently started playing this game.

Great game. Challenging-except for one. Some of the levels were more challenging than most games featured for the iPhone. The very last winter themed level,there is an extra "R" that does not fit with any words. Overall great game

Challenging word game!. If you like word games and you like puzzles, then this is the game for you! Many subjects and tons of puzzles all fairly challenging but increasing slightly with each level so it's not overly frustrating. I got the starter pack for free and paid .99 for 100 new levels! Great game for value.

Makes you think!. The challenge is to get all the words in the right order. Get the order wrong and you have to start over because puzzle collapses and you can't finish.

Word collapse. Omg it's addicting and a lot of fun! One of the best word games out there today does everything it says it does it's a word search that you need to find the words and do it in correct order or puzzle won't work out! Try it you will love it!

Fantastic. I become so enveloped in this game I solved the entire free section in 6 hours!! Even though I don't believe in paying extra for Apps. I believe I will have to purchase many of the other categories that are available!!

Word Search With A Twist!. I like the challenge behind this game in not only finding the correct order of words, but also in figuring out what words are associate with each theme. The music is great plus it gives you hints if you get stumped.

RIDICULOUSLY addictive. I have three complaints about this game. 1 - there is the occasional misspelling or odd word usage (its definitely a mixture of British and American words and phrases) 2 - there aren't any puzzle packs or ways to get discounts on purchasing multiple puzzles and 3 - I enjoy the dang thing so much I bought every single puzzle and anxiously await more!!

Addicting!!. This game is fun, challenging, frustrating, but addicting. I feel like I have to clear a whole level before I can stop. The specific theme levels can be a challenge if you don't know specifics like actors names or characters, but after looking them up, it was just a matter of correct order. Lots o fun!!!

Fun and challenging for mixed ages. You find words like a word search, but as you mark them they disappear. The challenge becomes to swipe them in the proper order so you don't ruin your next word and thereby the puzzle. Think ahead and remember the order you swiped the words.

Fun game. I think this game is very fun but I think it could have more utilization of each game. I feel like I am constantly dumping more money into this game. I think trying to beat your current time would be a great function to add so I feel like I am getting more bang for my buck. I probably wont add anymore puzzles to this game as I have already spent 3 dollars in one week.

Addictive and an easy way to kill time.. Need to kill a few minutes waiting for something? This app is perfect for killing a small amount of time and doesn't require constant attention.

Great way to Collapse the day. Enjoyable brain teaser, yet helps me "come down" from my workday during my train ride home. I love the freebies offered w/the turn of each season/holiday. They're simplistic and fun, which builds interest. Word Collapse is my "go to" game. It clears my mind and replenishes it at the same time.

Makes you think. The order of finding the words is very important. So just think about what you see or think you see. It really grabs you and keeps you interested.

Word Search Extraordinare!. Much more interesting than an ordinary word search! Only one dislike: There is no true strategy for deciding the order to select the words in the higher levels. It's mostly trial & error--at least for me. Perhaps you can provide an option allowing players to see the first word (or more words in order). Fun Game!!

Fun. I like this game. It's challenging because ypu not only need to find the hidden words but you can only 'collapse ' in a certain order. Thete r 5 hints & you can start over as many times as you wish Their are a variety of categories too.

Very Refreshing Change. The Zynga games are very nicely done. This game is right up there with them. Highly addictive and amazingly simple, until you get to higher levels!

Love this game!. Can be played offline - great for those of us with the iPod touch. Varying levels of difficulty. The downside: addictive & pretty quick play which leads to the in app purchases. Also, would like to have more clues available per day or renewed faster.

Really fun and challenging!. Just download this game last night and finished the starter pack a few minutes ago. The puzzles are really fun and get challenging the further you go, a great brain exercise. Your memory and searching skills will be put to the test, especially with the song lyrics!

Both greater & not as great as I thought.. This is even better than I thought. If you know more than one language, you can re-do the levels over again in the second language. Example: Cities — did this in English and got cities in the United States. Now I'm doing it in French and I've got European cities. SO MUCH FUN!!! BUT … you can't collect hints anymore by watching videos of other games. You have to buy them now. Bring that back and I'll move it to 5 star.

A real keeper!. I always launch this game with the thought that I'll just play for a few minutes, then get sucked in and don't come up for air until an hour has passed. I'm a sicker for word games of all kinds, and this is among my favorites. My thanks to the developers!

A little frustrating. When there's an update, you expect a new theme; but that doesn't always happen. Free version initially comes with only 3-4 themes, and then you have to wait quite awhile for new ones. Each theme has several levels, though, and they get pretty challenging as they progress to the last ones.

This game is awesome, but basically not free.. You get enough levels for a day or two, but then you have to buy a package of puzzles. They mostly cost 99 cents and give you 1 or 2 more days of entertainment. Then you have to buy again, as so on.... It's fun though.

Annoying characters and adds that harder to see tiles with color scheme. I loved this game before and had been playing it for a long time I had purchased almost all of the packs. I did not have annoying adds that I do now since the new update and I want them to go away. I also don't like the characters and the color schemes I find them harder to see. It will be a data hog if you don't turn off the use cellular data because of the adds. Which now means it won't play without using cellular data and I used to play it while waiting when I'm out.

Buy it!. True to everything... Great time killer, clever, fun, addicting, sorta challenging & I wish there were more free puzzles! But, to be fair, I wish I could get everything for free! I never buy apps because I'm cheap & don't see the point but I've bought numerous levels of this game & will continue to do so!

Addicting, awesome, and absolutely fun!. This game was absolutely perfectly made. There are hints that regenerate and the levels are all different. They have great categories and everything is AMAZING!!! I love it, and it is so so so addicting. Basically it is a spell game where you can scroll your finger vertically or horizontally to get the words in the categories. YOU MUST GET IT! It is the best game ever!!!!!!

Simple yet great. Quite addictive. You won't realize, but you will end up spending hours on it. A great companion on your way to work, plus it's quite informative. Would recommend it to all who have kids. If there was an undo for a move or moved would have been great.

Addictive. Found this game by accident. Was looking for a word link game. Enjoy it but it can be frustrating when you get to the end and have one set of letters that don't form a word and you have to start over again. Good thinking game!

Awsom. Very good exersize for me being that im 50+ and know my job by memory i dont seem to chalenge my mind this app will do it add you will find joy while doing it , it brings you to remember things youve heard or been taught years ago maybe even riddles in quotes you heard as a child amust for us folks that need to fire brain cells thats been dormit for years!!!

New version not so good. New version is a downgrade from previous version. Too much extraneous and unnecessary characters (the cat and the guy) that don't add anything to the experience. Plus they've REALLY jacked up their prices on hints and offer fewer of them. When I use up my remaining hints, I'll delete this app and move on. There are plenty of other word games out there equal to or better than this one.

Great game. Fantastic game to get you thinking, but needs more levels. I played for about an hour or so and completed all the levels. I would give 5 * if there were enough levels to keep me going for a while. Or a least a way to pay once and get the other levels. Not pay for each level after the first four free levels.

Word Collapse. I love this game; it's both addicting and challenging and I spend hours at a time playing, It uses much strategy which sharpens your mind big time. Will continue playing until I have purchased all sections.

Fun!. The only improvements I would like to see is when it shows "no more moves" I would still like to see the moves I've already made. Also, if I buy categories on my iPhone, shouldn't they automatically install on my iPod? Great game otherwise!!

Very Good. I enjoyed this game a great deal. It definitely makes you think but is also very entertaining and educational too. It has a quality look and feel to it too. Just a well built app with a high value to it.

Love it.... But have 3 complaints. 1) don't like having to pay for new games. 2) wish I could skip to the next one when I get stuck and come back to it later. 3) 22 hours between tips is a little rediculous! But still a great game!

Great game for passing the time. This is a simple game that is great for passing the time. While easy to play it can also be challenging to figure out how to clear each level which makes it even more enjoyable.
