Guidebook Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Meh. This app looks pretty nice, but fails in too many places. I downloaded the guide for my workshop, but it constantly deletes it. I’ve had to download it 5 times now. When you are in class with poor WiFi and need to know what’s next, well you are out of luck. I’ve also got it into open loops where you click open and it does nothing. And you can map addresses. That’s just stupid. Also have you seen their pricing? Why would anyone use this?

Needs one more thing!. I was so excited when the trade show I attend twice a year introduced this app. However there is one major flaw that forces me to use the paper show guide instead...It need the ability to organize booths by booth number! That way when walking a show floor, you can look down at your and see which booths you need to visit in that aisle! Please add this feature!

Theirs a glitch. The app overall seems like a good app, but theirs one problem, theirs a glitch where the app won’t let me add events to my schedule or even scroll down so I can write them on a piece of paper. Please fix this. Other than the glitch, 4.5-5 stars

Can’t set profile picture and won’t save changes. I’ve tried all day to set a profile picture and change some information in my profile but every time I try to save the information and picture it doesn’t even save it, it acts as though I’m not even putting any changed in.

Great tool with a lot of room for improvement. I’ve only used one guide so far and my comments may be off because there could be features missing that are school dependent. • no hyper local (beacon) support for campus location and guidance • need additional maps • need parent version if the focus is college tours • need list of potential auxiliary events (eg. volleyball game) with potential for colleges to give passes (free or purchases) within app • give food places ability to coordinate with colleges to offer reservations and make deals within app Good app with a lot of potential.

Outside the box. A creative original thinker. What would nhappen to the social problems by asking what is working? The current model is great at putting out fires. We are beginning to concentrate on prevention

A useful idea. There could be a couple of changes/additions to help look up schedules. If you could make it look up all schedules of a particular room, or to be able to see the old-style guidelines from previous years. Also, a filter for particular videos, panels, or discussion boards would be nice, instead of having it all bunched together in a timeslot. But, for now, it is a slightly useful app.

Ready set start new tools and tips to bring clients in. This session was very helpful. It was well presented with practical, easy to execute tools and great tips.

This is annoying. I don’t like this at all, that is the nicest way I can put it.

The Anime Convention's Best Friend. Got this app back in 2011 for Otakon and I have been using it every year since. Guidebook is fantastic and makes your con panel experience much easier. I No longer have to carry large paper schedules, and whenever a panel time changes, you get a push notification. Also scheduling panels is so easy, just click add to schedule and you can set a time for it to remind you. Also it makes browsing convention programming much easier. Guidebook is definitely a must-have for any convention attendee!

Nice, but one suggestion:. This is a neat little app and I'm looking forward to using it at NDK but one ability I really wish it had is to be able to make your own task and set a time frame so it would show up under the "my schedule" area instead of having to juggle between "my schedule" and the "things to do list". This would make it much more convenient for us staffers, attendees too probably.

Log-in issues and no support. I've downloaded the iOS app and logged in using Facebook. But if I want to log in on the website there is not way to do that with Facebook and for the life of me I cannot find away to see my email address & password for your guidebook account on my app. How can I use & sync my guidebooks across platforms when I cannot log in? BIG Suggestion: SUPPORT! They have no email addresses, no FAQ and now support in app or on your website.

Cannot add non convention activities. The app is awesome for the actual convention events, locations and times. I am easily able to add these to my schedule. When I open my schedule and click the +, I am unable to add an event of my own, even though I click save. I cannot get it to show up on my schedule.

Font colors need to be more contrasting. For people with visual issues the lack of contrast in font colors makes the content hard to read. Black font on white background is best. Light gray font on white background is hard to see. Aside from the font colors, the app is fantastic.

Phenomenal. I wish every event used this service - literally get excited when I see that they are using guidebook cause then I know it’s going to be easy to navigate

Good. Good

What happened?. Had some old guides that I had downloaded to my account, now I see nothing but the most recent, what happened to all the rest?

Wrong location on map. As soon as I downloaded the app and opened it up as I was in transit to my conference, I saw a map which pinpointed where the hotel is. Sadly the pinpoint was not accurate and perhaps pointed to another hotel in the same chain. This caused me to visit the conference website to see which location the hotel was at to verify the pinpoint was not in the right location. Bingo, it was wrong indeed. Glad I did not get a taxi there. I hope the rest of the app is more accurate

Nice, but I wish that.... Like another reviewer here, I think that this app is really useful and has a lot of potential, but I do wish that you could narrow down by Location. I thought the purpose of this app was to find through Guidebook something interesting that's going on, in which case you should be able to narrow down by location. But if the purpose is just to find a schedule for an event that you already know is happening then it is great as is. Lovely design.

Amazing for attendees, not so much for planners. Needs a lower level tier for convention planners between the free and first pay level...one that would allow a few more downloads for the small cons (and not necessarily more features) without spending a lot of money. As an attendee, my BIGGEST complaint is that when I’ve downloaded a guide, it should ALWAYS open to that guide during the convention dates. I hate opening the app and finding myself having to re-select the convention I’m at in order to see my schedule (where I last used the app a few hours earlier.)

Useless “calendar”. They took away the option to favorite events and add it to a calendar within the app and get reminded.

Best thing to happen to conventions since cosplay. I would feel lost without this app. I used to make schedules by hand or computer until I found conventionist (that's what guidebook used to be called). Now with guidebook, It's super easy to not only plan your schedule ahead but also to figure things out on the fly. Using the maps for example of you get lost, or finding somewhere to eat, or stayin updated with breaking announcements or news from the convention. My favorite feature is how you can view the schedule and then add events from it to "my schedule", so that you only see what you want to, and then you can get updates or reminders on your mobile device in case you forget something.

One of the best. I used this app at MineCon 2013. It was my first con and the app correctly guided me to where I needed to go. You can choose how early you want the alert for the event, and the notification in the lock screen even tells you what room the event is! After using GuideBook at Minecon 2013, I see why this app has 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lacks Apple Watch Support. Overall a decent app. I do wish it supported Apple Watch, however. So many apps support the watch now, especially productivity apps. It would be a great convenience if the notifications for “my schedule” popped up, or I could pull “my schedule “ up and scroll through it without having to dig my phone out of my pocket. I’m usually juggling handouts, tote bags, etc. at conferences in addition to my backpack with all my electronic needs. The additional convenience of watch support would be great!

Annoying. The schedule refreshes every 20 secs makes it hard to use

Irritating “glitch”?. I’ve used this app for years - and I love having all pertinent info at my fingertips. However, it is SUPER irritating that it continually pops back up to the top of the day’s events anytime it is in use. Is there ANY way to fix that? So annoying!

it does what it needs to do. doesn’t have dark mode. overall a good application, although i wish the web version had more functionality

Very helpful!. Just found out about this app, so I've only used it to help me plan my schedule for one event (Anime Expo 2014) but it had everything about the event on there, which was amazingly helpful and convenient! I instantly loved this app, can't recommend it enough for upcoming events you might attend.

Needs better navigation. Looks pretty good but must have way to navigate long alpha lists. Like their own list of schools using this app! Starts at A and then you have to scroll and scroll. Search is too loose and you can't easily get to S items and browse there. Several solutions have been common for years. Until implemented this app is not usable where you need a long index list. Like we have over 400 bios of people. Need sidebar or top button groups.

Awesome app. Used this at PAX East 2012 and it worked really well. I loved being able to see the schedule of the panels and what-not without having to dig through my bag for the full schedule. Plus, when times were changed or things got cancelled, I had the updated schedule on my phone. Really nice app!

Great App. Very useful for conventions. I don't need to rely on my map or program at all now and I don't forget to go to panels I wanted to visit. The only thing that I'd recommend is a clear way to delete a guide. I downloaded the wrong one and now I can't get rid of it.

Scroll on schedule does not work. On schedule after scrolling to look at events happening on a day, the scrolling feature will not work. Please fix.

What an incredible battery drainer.. I installed this app, didn’t install anything else, in that time. Within 2 hours, I barely looked at my phone, and had the screen on less than 5 minutes total to check emails, the battery drained 20%.

Amazing App!. One of the best apps I’ve seen on here and It is extremely helpful. Especially since I’m landing schedule for San Japan as well.

Same issue as July 2021. The schedule will freeze and not load. I am unable to select events/sessions to add to my schedule. It happened with the TCDA convention back in July 2021 and it’s still happening now with the TMEA 2022 convention. It’s frustrating!!!! I have a new iphone now so I don’t think it’s my iphone.

Not near me. The app mainly shows events from other states for me.

Great All use app. For any and all events you are going to that use guidebook it works out well and it is at NO cost to you which is even more convinient

Can’t see search results. The app is wonderful, unless you actually want to search for something. For some reason, they designed it so that the search results appear behind the keyboard, and do not give you any means to hide the keyboard. So you can see search results, but just not the last two or three.

Why the constant reloading??. First used this for Too Many Games last year and was a lovely sidekick to have! Now using it for Acen incoming buuut was reminded why I s carry a booklet around. Why does it CONSTANTLY reload so much?? I'm just trying to plan out my day(s) but it knocks me back to the start of a day. Gotta update this already..

Well done. Very inspirational leadership discussion.

App keeps crashing. this app keeps crashing when I try to load any event. It works about 20% of the time. This needs to be fixed.

MESA 2023 crashes when using schedule. Every time I click on a panel to see more information the app crashes and closes. I’m using a reasonably new iPhone and I tried rebooting the phone. It is very consistent: it crashes every time.

Great but…. I like this app and all but… 1. As I’m scrolling through each day’s schedule, it constantly SMU suddenly scrolls back to the top of that day’s schedule causing me to have to scroll back down to where I was. Very annoying!!! 2. Does this app sync across devices?

Awesome to use. This app was awesome to use for our event. Having everything in one place and tailored made things seamless.

Nice, room for improvement. Must have: to see schedule conflicts noted as I select the item (or at least in "My Schedule"). When I select a 50 minute session at noon, there should be SOMEthing that tells me, "Hey dummy, that cuts in to the 12:30 event you wanted." Also, prioritization of the events. If a session is running long, but the signing session is about to start, I want to see/hear/feel a notification. Nice to have: Maybe it's just the event I'm going to, but allowing images in the description / body would be great.

Love this thing. Great at Katsucon. I like this so much that I'm taking time to review it. I'm currently at Katsucon which has tons of events that I want to go to. This app has a nice feature where I can bookmark everything I want to go to and then have it remind me so I have time to get in line and not miss it. It also has lots of other info that Katsucon provided them in digital form, but I'm mainly using the app to quickly plan a schedule for myself. Very useful.

Time zone wrong. Apparently the app shows the times for an event in your current time zone instead of the event time zone. Really dumb.

Excellent medium for convention guidebooks. This is an excellent medium for conventions to provide electronic guidebooks, with sections for maps, schedules, and guests. The quality of the guides, of course, depends on the individual convention, of course; for instance, the BayCon guide inexcusably omits the names of panelists from meeting listings. The only weakness I’ve noticed so far in the app itself is that, while you can set a reminder for ten minutes before a meeting, you can’t set one for five minutes before, nor after the meeting.

No iCal export for My Schedule. There isn’t an export feature like iCal to sync your My Schedule with your personal schedule. Makes the My Schedule useless.

No way to turn off alerts from within the app. Alerts that you didn’t sign ipnfor clog your notifications. You can only turn them off via the phone’s notification settings.

issues with app. workedwell but with new update it is quitting

PERFECT APP!!. Great app to plan your day or weekend at supanova!!! Highly recommend!

Great app. Is a great app too use

Great app!. I love this app! It started being good to deserved as an great guidebook app. Needs to be most updates. Keep that up going!

Nice app BUT... Where's the 2012 Supanova schedule for Perth???

Problem with new update. Great app, used to work fine-but now it just quits itself when i try to open it.

Good. Should be able to sync your LinkedIn account so you can see who you know from your network is at the event.

Good for conventions. Gonna use this app for AICon 2013! App, don't fail me this weekend!!

It won't install on my phone. It gets nearly 2/3 of the way done and a pop-up shows saying it is unable to install the app. I have an iPhone 6 and the latest iOS, I don't know why it won't work.

Freeze. Love this because of the upcoming Supanova, but it keeps freezing when you try and add a new custom event. Other than that, great app!

Pretty good. By far the easiest was to app an expo or conference and great features for the end user too

Can't use it, can't judge it. This version requires at least iOS 4.3, my iPod Touch 2nd Gen cannot handle anything above 4.2.1 If I wanted to use this app I would have to buy a 3rd Gen Touch or better, I'm fairly disappointed by this

DOESNT WORK FOR ME!!. I doesn't let me find my upcoming Events especially for Supernova.

Completely useless!. This app is just a list of random events around the world. There is NO search function. It's like finding a piece of paper blowing in the wind and hoping it has the information you looking for printed on it. Great concept but fails miserably in it's execution.

Better then I expected. I wasn't expecting much, maybe a few scans of the guidebook. Instead there were descriptions, locations, maps, and nearly everything. I hop more Cons pick this up because it's more convenient and environmentally friendly with the lack of paper waste. I can't wait to see how this app evolves!

A bloated app. I just wanted a schedule and descriptions of events. There was all the social network stuff and other useless features that made it so the actual schedule was hard to read and hard to find a simplified version. It also kept sending pop up notifications about sessions that happened days ago.

Not working. Found my event... have clicked GET a zillion time and nothing happens .... #uberfrustrated

Horribly Slow. It's like Internet Explorer 5 on Dial Up. The menu design is straightforward enough, but the app is so darn slow. Button presses won't be registered for 5+ seconds at a time, causing the user to re-press and accidentally double-tap, which is irritating.

PAX 11. Better than the official PAX 11 app. Worked really well. Thanks for this.

night mode request. please make a night/dark mode for your app. almost every single application has this option available so a lot of people would appreciate it alot.

What did Eric do to you!?. Put Eric back on the iOS team!!

Great, for small screens. I can see why it's so highly recommended for PAX, it's got all the important info in a straightforward interface. I would also like to see an iPad-optimized version though. A busy event like PAX East has a big schedule, and it'd be nice to be able to see more of it on the big screen.

Fantastic if organizers put in the effort. I have only used the app for one event. I guess it's usefulness would depend on how well organizers provided details and updates, but my event had the schedule implemented perfectly and I loved it. I was a little surprised it drew 7.5MB of data over three days. I had already downloaded the schedule ahead of my event, but I allowed it to use data so I could be sure to get all the updates to the schedule. I did reference the app often to figure out what I wanted to do next, and it would always tell me if anything had changed, which was amazing (our convention had a few cancellations last minute). But the changes I got seemed like they could be done by syncing text only so I'm not sure what the big data-draw was. That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

better than a printed guide, but also limited by them. This app is great for scheduling which events at a convention you plan to attend, and for looking up descriptions of those events with a single tap. But most cons' guides are otherwise just scans of their paper guidebooks - you can look up a list of all the exhibitors in the dealers room, but most of them have no description (because there's no space for them in the printed guide and the digital version apparently wasn't worth their bother) and the app can't point out where their booth is in the dealers room because the map is just a plain image. It seems obvious that you should be able to add your own custom events to your "My Schedule", but instead there's just a "To Do" list whose entries don't appear in your schedule, or even have reminder alerts.

Helpful. It's really helpful

iPad version is AWESOME. Used this last year on the iPhone, this year i got to use my iPad! Would have been lost at the con without Guidebook!

V cool, so far. But…. The version I have (dL today from Apple Store) 1. failed to keep running twice when I clicked on SCHEDULE from MENU homepage. 2. I note several places where a consistently accessible HOME button would have been VERY helpful. 3. Add the ability to RENAME a To-Do. Lacking this ability, I had to REMOVE and create a To-Do all over again. 4. To-Do list should be able to be manually SORTED & should have a PRIORITY type of button for ea. item. 5. TYPEFACE SIZE should be a user selectable item.

Absolutely awful.. The search function is a disaster. An absolute disaster. It can’t even find the events that I type in word-for-word that it’s showing me on the main screen. In addition, it won’t open my school’s commencement guide and won’t even find it for some reason that has yet to reveal itself. Good idea, awful in execution.

Could be good, but.... The app freezes when you go to the "share guidebook" option. And it doesn't just freeze the app, but my whole phone. Some guides will not load, and the form submission option is very confusing. I think the app has potential to be very good and work extremely well. It would be very nice to have these kinks worked out.

Great but.... Love being able to create my own schedule for a week long summer symposium that has about 250 or more separate events. Problem is I created my schedule on my iPad but it doesn't sync to Guidebook on my iPhone? Really? Am I missing something? Hope this issue is alleviate ASAP.

Great tool for conference organizers. My company has put together lots of conferences with complicated agendas. Guidebook has been an invaluable tool for us. And it’s fairly easy to use. I also like the rating feature for different sessions in the agenda — great instant feedback!

Extremely helpful. More up-to-date than the printed program, and easier to consult discreetly.

Solid but lacks export. Nice clean app. But once I've made my personalized schedule, I'd really like a way to view it outside of the app. Export as text or PDF? Export to Dropbox? Any of these options would enable me to take my personalized schedule beyond my mobile device.

It Won't Go Away. I downloaded Guidebook for an event my school was holding, but when it was done I decided to delete it from my phone to save space, but it just keeps downloading itself. Every time I try to delete the app, it ends up downloading itself later. This is the only app that has ever done this on my phone. Be cautious to download this if you have an older phone like mine.

Awesome App!. I am so excited to share this app with our conference attendees next month. I really hope that it gets updated to fix the crash when trying to upload/view photos. I really want to be able to use that feature.

Awesome!. Just went to a convention and this app was a life saver! Very easy to use with essential information (maps, schedules, favorites list) all at your fingertips! I hope more conventions, museums, festivals, etc will adopt this app.

Great app. Great app has helped me out with my times for many cons but the recent update caused it to crash hope the fix it soon before acen

Not working. I used this for a conference two years ago and loved it. Now I’m headed to a different conference and can’t get it to switch. I finally deleted it and loaded it from the conference web site and it keeps opening on the web instead of the app. It’s a paperless conference and I have no schedule to use. Really unhappy.

Really helpful app. This app has saved my life on multiple occasions when attending a conference! Of all the different types I've used, Guidebook is the easiest to use.

Ugh. I appreciate the idea of saving paper (even though they went ahead and put a million paper things in the bags and don't provide recycling bins), but without wifi, it seriously took forever to download. Why is there not a paper option for seeing workshops/maps?

Great app, recent update crash fix. This is a great app, especially for keeping track of your chosen schedule at a large event. I've had it for a few years now. Recent update was crashing at launch on iPhone 4s. Delete & reinstall fixes it.

Very good but needs two major tweaks. Really good app. However, (1) make "My Schedule" sync across all apps. Ridiculous to have to enter schedule 2x (iPad and iPad mini). (2) When you enter an event on your schedule on a multi-day event, app should take you back to the day you are on, not the 1st day of the event. A tad frustrating but overall really good app.

So important to use!. I no longer have to carry large paper schedule because Guidebook app is fantastic to make it happen, thanks!

No profile pic upload. Great app! But sadly, the profile pic upload from my cameras photo library does not work. Tried many times but simply does not upload. Please fix.

Guidebook. Opens on iPad but won’t let you click to MyGuides to open yours and msg say My Guides has moved but no way to get there. Irritating. Also needs titles for attendees and be able to contact them from attendee list.

Indispensable. This was used by the organizers of Minecon2012 at Disney Paris. Loved that I could pull out my phone (with no connectivity) and see everything at a glance. No sorting through assorted paper itineraries and easy to make decisions with my son on which panels to attend with the flexibility to change plans on the fly.

Worthless. Diocese of Olympia is using this app for their convention. The primary use for it would be for documents. They are all links to pdfs which don't rotate and so you have to zoom and scroll each line to read it. Since it has to link to the internet each time you access the doc, you need internet connection - at a venue that doesn't have enough bandwidth to accommodate the number of attendees. Just use paper! Also... A number of the links go to "Page not Found."

Excellent!. We used this for our conference and our attendees loved it. We reviewed most others and this was the only free one we found. Jeff and Kelly were great to work with and prompt in answering our questions. Great app! Kudos to Guidebook!!

Interested in using. This seems like a great app to use for our conference, but would love to see an iPad version created, since many of our attendees also have an iPad.

Conference. This app was really helpful and it helped me stay connected with other members of my Sorority that were in attendance at the conference. I don't remember seeing the reminder but other than that very helpful..

Convenient and FAST!. Installs fast and I love the feature to create your own schedule, with reminders integrated in the app. Highly recommended.

Somerset Folk Harp Festival Program Guide. Brilliant!!! Great Planning tool - with reminders!! An easy way to summarize one's choices. Easy & simple way to add or remove items from one's personal schedule.

Great app. This app is amazing! We can find a lot of things to help us to enjoy an event even better. Thank you guys, pretty design.

Good, but don't trust the alarms.. Went to a conference, had marked out my classes, added reminders. At 2pm I got three reminders - for the classes I'd already been to and didn't get alarms for! And I swear I heard it happen with other people as well, at the exact same time.

Does what it says, easy, nice & clean app. Title pretty much says it. Very easy to navigate & use, not a lot of bells & whistles but everything you need. Plus, guidebot is cute (more guidebot!) Could see a lot of folks using this, makes trade shows easy to navigate. Many thanks!

Great app. Clean design with beautiful interface and great user experience. Easy to make last minute changes and has great features. They just released interactive maps which is very helpful. Overall a really great app.

iPhone 4s crash. Having same issue as Sue. So sad. Used it for a conference last year and LOVED it and expected to use it again for the same conference this year. Just tried to report the problem, but when I search for "iPhone 4s crash" or even just “crash" no answer comes up that I can apply. Help! :(

Awesome!!!. This app saved my life at the anime convention I went to last spring. I haven't used it since, but I plan to when I go again this coming year. Very organized and full of useful info. :)

Worked perfectly. This app was just what I needed for my conference. Everything worked perfectly - no crashes or bugs. I wish more events had apps on Guidebook!

Saves Trees. Seems to work just fine. Better then the bulky program I usually have to carry around at conferences.

Awesome !. This little app offers a lot ! Especially useful for conventions, I also couldn't help but think the little app logo/short cut looks just like Garry's mod 😂

A major let down. Used to be an amazing app. I don't know why it suddenly needs to be linked with Facebook and I don't know why they suddenly need all of my person info. Beyond that, they aren't updated and they don't have the events I attend anymore, but I can still search for events that are two or more years old. This app used to be so good too.

Bug fix?. It was crashing on my iPhone 4s, but I deleted and reinstalled and it works fine now.

How do delete guides you’ve downloaded???. App works well when attending conventions . Easy to find what you’re looking for and keep track of the events you want to attend.

Event saver!. One of the best things in this app is the simple way how I can schedule the upcoming events in my own schedule list. For sure, the best event guide app and it is right on my pocket.

Unable to download. This app will not allow me to download any documents. It keeps telling me the request timed out. I know it is not my wifi as everything else works well. I can see the potential with it being useful for conferences if it were fixed.

Clear out the old events already!. Trying to find a current event on this app is a pain! They still list ones from 2013! Too many to slog through. No way to filter them. And the user can’t even delete their old events. Not user friendly. Better curation and user controls are needed to make this app what it is meant to be.

Where's the iPad version. The app is okay, but would be more useful if there was also an iPad version. I'll be attending a week long conference next week, and will be mostly using my iPad. Yes, I can use the iPhone app on the iPad, but it is distinctly undesirable with low res graphics. Disappointing.

Great concept, by lacking. This is a GREAT concept to help me coordinate my schedules each day for the convention that I'm going to. HOWEVER- it gives me the option to add photo ops to my schedule but not panels... Which means I can't create an actual full schedule at all... Only shows me what time my photo ops are. It's unfortunate because that makes the app pointless for me. If it worked I would give it 5 stars

Great App Love it!. I used this app last year at a animecon. I go to the are going to use the app again this year. Can't wait for Mechacon 8 all ready. But like other people have said. The alarm's did go off at the wrong times once in a while.

Easy to use, has everything. The session schedules are extremely convenient, since they link you to where the rooms are on an interactive map. Also other things are cool too.

Obvious features missing. Guidebook team. There are basic features that are missing or not easily accessible: 1. Search is confusing. Not clear whether I am searching within a current event or for an event from the global pool. 2. Calendar and scheduling is from 1800s (way before computers). I need to be able to: A) see all events in a room and/or in a building/venue, for a day, date, the duration of the main event etc. B) see all the times for an event—when it is offered more than once. C) see events by teacher/mc/leader, eg, show me what John is teaching. The above are basic pivot features that should be built in. 3. Provide ability for events to post links to additional materials including PDFs. 4. Event feedback and reviews

Makes planning a lot easier. This app makes planning a lot easier. I attended the JEA convention last year without this app or an iPhone and planning was much more difficult. It does seem that some of the items that are labeled don't go anywhere.

Just what I've been looking for.. There are so many crappy, proprietary convention apps out there that guidebook is a breath of fresh air- easy to use, functional, and BY GUM it works offline. Honestly, I wish every convention, conference or festival I went to used this.

Nothing new here, ugly app. If you're reading this you're likely considering using this to organize your next event. As an event attendee I can say this app doesn't do anything a printed itinerary doesn't do better. Static maps (Google does better), a static itinerary, and weak implementations with social media. It has a photo stream, but no one uses it. Where's the messaging? Where are quality maps? App just takes up space on your attendees devices and a line item in your budget sheet. You can do better.
